Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.
This is kind of a great thing and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak. Your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Here's the question for today. I love this question, by the way. It's what is the value, especially to you personally, what is the value of John 3.16? As we are marching forth, it is March 4th, and so what an opportunity to use that joke on anybody you want to.
You only have a few hours left to let it go, Nick. They're marching forth today out there because we're marching forth with the idea of what is the value of John 3.16 to you? We would love for you to call in and share that. 866, what number to call? 866-348-7884.
866-348-7884. Well, like I said, we're marching forth because the whole world is preaching John 3.16 on March the 16th since we're marching forth today to get that idea across. We hope many of you, we've talked many times on the show about this, are praying, have been praying at 4 o'clock every day, whether that be in the morning or in the evening, as your case may be. But we have, as you might imagine, since it is March 4th, we wanted to march forth with Mr. Dr. Date-the-Word. Date-the-Word!
Mr. Date-the-Word, Dr. Date-the-Word himself, Dwayne Carson. Yes, it's 12 days, man. It's countdown.
12 days. We are marching forth to what we're praying will be one of the greatest days of harvest as pastors all over the world shares God's greatest message to mankind. And every time I look at John 3.16, I am just blown away at what I read and what I consider. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. And it's real thinking, what is the value?
Every word carries some sort of value. But you think this is coming from God. This isn't for man, some president, some person in charge of a lot of money. This is God who says I love the world. And he takes action because he loves the world that is against him. And he loves the world so much he gave, and he gave not money, not time, but he gave himself. He gave his son up.
I don't even know how to wrap my head around that, Robbie. He gave his son. We think about God asking Abraham in Genesis 22 to give his son. And what what do you what are you asking of me, God? Here's God said, I'm going to take my son and I'm going to give him.
And as I'm working on my message, when we get to this part of gave, it's all about. He was crushed. He was crushed. He died on that cross. He took all of our sins and then all the wrath of God was upon him so that we that are perishing. And that's all of us. We're going to die and go to hell. But he says, if you'll believe in my son, I'm going to give you eternal life. It's so powerful.
And like you said, every single word. And we got O.J. is in Charlotte already chiming in. O.J., you're on Truth Talk Live, my friend. What have you got for us?
Hey, thank you so much. First time caller. If you gave me the chance, I probably would preach on this message. But to answer your question, I think for for for me personally, I switch for gospel of the world and put my name.
Yes. But for you to read for you to truly understand how much God loves you, you have to see how much he loves his son. Right. I recently read in Matthew Mark yesterday. He said when when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus like a dove, he said, this is my beloved son in him.
I'm well pleased. You know, when you see the way the father talks about his son, I mean, you hear the way the son talks about the father, that the love intimacy is so beautiful. Right. You have to really grasp that concept of how much the father loved the son and how the son loved the father. You know, and I'm not a father yet, but for those that are, you could probably relate a little bit.
But then my question is to you guys is that the father loved us so much more than he loved the son to sacrifice his son for us. Thank you. Darrell Bock Wow. O.J., loading up a question for all of us, right? O.J. Yes.
Darrell Bock Yeah. Did God love, since he gave his son for us, does that show us something that's above and beyond? What do you think, Doc? O.J.
Wow. I hadn't thought of it that way. But when you think about how much he did love us, no one has greater love than he lays down his life for you. So the father, I don't know how to exactly explain it. I do know this, but because of what Jesus did, the father has highly exalted him above all. And he is going to, he is sitting at the right hand of the father and there's coming a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. So because of what Jesus did do in carrying out the will of the father, even though there came that moment in time where he struggled in the garden, he said, fine, not my will, but your will be done. He dealt with the father, required of him. He became obedient unto death. He's been highly exalted above all.
I do know this, the father wants us to love the son. Darrell Bock There's no doubt of it. We got Jamal, as in Winston, maybe you got an answer for us on this. Jamal, you're on Truth Talk Live. So what do you think, Jamal?
Does God love us more than he loves his son? O.J. threw it out there, man. O.J.
Yeah, he did. That's a cutback to Paula right there. Darrell Bock Oh, no, that music means we got to go to a break and I want to hear what you have, Jamal. So can you stay with us? O.J. Yes, sir.
Darrell Bock I hope so. And wait, I bet you got something out there. You call us, 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. What is the value of John 3.16? We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live! Narrator You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Darrell Bock Welcome back to Truth Talk Live! Today we're talking about what is the value of John 3.16, as today is March 4th, so we got Dr. Date the Word here with us, Dr. Carson. So we're marching forth with John 3.16, leading up to the big event, which is coming up on the 16th, which happens to be on a Sunday.
Everybody's going to be preaching it across the world. It's amazing what God has done with this. But we're just talking about to you individually, you know, what's the value of that? And we had O.J. call right before Jamal and ask the question, if God gave his son for us, does he love us more than his son? And then left it, left it right there. He didn't answer it.
He just gave it to us so that we could think about that. So what do you think, Jamal? John 3.16 I think that's pretty good. And also, like, Dr. Dwayne Carson's new title, Date the Word, or Date the World. Darrell Bock No, no, Date the Word!
I can't talk. It's all right. John 3.16 Right. My take on it, though, is we have the only deity in all of the known religions, the only deity to willingly go to the cross.
It also kind of confirms that God gave his only son. And we're not talking about somebody that was captured or somebody that was caught in a kerfuffle or in a conflict and being taken off. No, he went willingly. He went willingly with the Roman guards. He went willingly to the cross. And even once he was on the cross, you guys can correct me if I'm wrong, he had a chance to come down off the cross if he just relented up what he was talking about. And he did not. So that is confirming again that God gave his son. He didn't fight.
It wasn't some kind of tug-of-war. Jesus was given to us. Now, you're talking about somebody that was given to us who was a deity, the one and only true God? I don't know of any other blessing like that in the known world. Darrell Bock That's so awesome, Jamal. Thank you, my friend.
That's powerful. John 3.16 Thank you, God bless you. Darrell Bock That's wonderful. So we've got John Wellborn is in New York City. John, you're on Truth Talk Live. I understand you've got something exciting coming for us.
John Wellborn Yes, sir. I was invited by Dr. Lane Carson to come and talk about our church, planning to preach John 3.16 on March 16th, next Sunday. We're very excited about that. Darrell Bock Well, tell us why you're excited, John, and what else is happening with people there in New York City regarding preaching John 3.16?
What's been happening there? John Well, we've got a number of churches that have been taking up this initiative. I think we have unfortunately many times confused people in our attempts to share the Gospel with them and gotten away from the simplicity of the message. And so what I appreciate so much about my friend Dwayne is just bringing us back to the simplicity of the Gospel message that's contained in that one single solitary verse. With our people, we've been announcing it and telling them, what's the most famous verse in the Bible? What's the one, if you know a Bible verse, what is it? And of course, even they all know from sports games and things like that, seeing John 3.16 everywhere.
And so they're getting excited about it. I think you can really bring the entire Gospel to bear from that one passage of Scripture. And so we're treating it like an old fashioned kind of friend day. Just bring your friends and know that that message on that day is going to be directed right to those that don't have a church background or faith background, and is going to explain as clearly as possible the Gospel message. And then we plan to have a Crusade-style invitation, invite people forward to be saved, and we've got baptism scheduled the week to follow.
So God's doing something very special here in this city and among the churches of our city. Well, tell our listeners, if they're in that New York area, what church should they be coming to and where is it located? We would love to have you at Salem Church. Salem Church on the north shore of Staten Island, which is one of the five boroughs of New York City.
You can get here by transit or just if you drive, you can drive here, 634 Clove Road, Staten Island, New York, 10310. And we have services at 8 a.m., 945 a.m., and 1130 a.m. We also have another campus of our church that meets in the AMC movie theater at the Staten Island Mall. They meet at 11 o'clock, and the message will be John 3.16 at our other location as well. So two locations on Staten Island, preaching John 3.16.
We'd love to have you on March 16th. And they could watch this streaming? You got that on a website?
That's correct. Yes, we live stream to Facebook on our Facebook Live every Sunday, and we also live stream on our church website every Sunday at 945. You can find us at salemchurchnyc.org. That's salemchurchnyc.org.
That is so awesome. We're so grateful for that, John. We're looking forward to all that God's going to bring out there in New York.
Amen, brother, 9.3.16 in New York City. We're very excited as well. We appreciate you giving us this megaphone to announce it. God bless. Well, we've got Ark is in Jacksonville, Florida. Ark, you're on Truth Talk Live. Hey, first-time caller.
My name's Mark. Thank you, gentlemen. Man, there is so much to unpack in that one verse.
I remember growing up seeing it on TV, John 3.16 at the end zone, end of the football game. But, you know, what's what really what what strikes me is this, is that I for half of my life, I grew up a Jehovah's Witness. Right.
And, you know, I listen to that brother from New York. You know, the kingdom of God is not in the Watchtower track and Bible Society there in New York. Right. That's not the kingdom of God, although they got a good print press.
But, you know, growing up, you know, knowing that there was a God, right, being in another religious cult, so to speak, and, you know, not feeling the power of the Holy Spirit. Right. So I think of, you know, in their world, New World Testament, it says, you know, John 1, 1, you know, the word became flesh and we beheld. Right. And the word was God.
Right. And they put in a God, you know, a present participle like how many gods are there, you know? But the thing is, you know, I remember how I locked on to says, you know, those who have Jesus have God and those do not. Those who have the son have the father.
Whoever does not have the son, neither does he have the father. Right. Right. So that that one time for all time that God gave his son. Right.
And the foreshadowing, you know, of that in, you know, in the Old Testament. In fact, I named my daughter, one of my daughters, Mariah, and dedicated her to the Lord. Really?
That's my daughter's name, too. Yeah, that's cool. Because of the significance of that.
Right. I mean, the foreshadowing what Abraham did on that hill of Mount Mariah, and then 2,000 years later in Golgotha it comes to pass. But even more so if you go back to the Garden of Eden, right, like when Adam and Eve sinned, God could have wiped them out, right, and started all over. But he cursed the ground, right? He cursed the ground because he knew, he knew the framework of mankind that we're prone to sin. And eventually we were going to need, you know, a God man to come down out of heaven to show mankind the way, you know? So that, you know, and yet still, you know, you read John 3 16 and you go down to 19 and it says, you know, men love darkness, and they don't want their deeds to be exposed.
And so they don't come out into the light, but they don't realize how much freedom there is just because of that one act of the covering of the blood, you know, that one act of freedom. So Mark, you clearly, you know, coming out of the cult that Jehovah's Witness, that kind of thing, those verses that, you know, just certainly make your salvation so apparent to you and give you confirmation, you know, those are huge, right? Mark Deverdahl Absolutely.
Absolutely. Darrell Bock That's so beautiful. I'm so glad you called in today. Mark, God bless you, my friend, and you have a great weekend. We need your calls.
We're for some, yeah, eight. We're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Darrell Bock Welcome back to Truth Talk Live! Today we are marching forth on March 4th with the idea of John 3 16 being preached around the world on the 16th of March, which will be 3 16.
And, you know, for you individually, we're talking about what is the value of that verse to you? From your perspective, we've had some amazing calls. We would love yours. The phone number to call in and share is 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. Wow, I can hardly wait for you to call.
Don't hesitate. We got Jeremy is in Pennsylvania. Jeremy, you're on Truth Talk Live!
Jeremy Yes, sir. Yeah, it's kind of neat. I'm a pastor here at Central Baptist Church in Millers Town, and I've been preaching a series on the book of John in general, and I've kind of gone almost the whole way through it. I'm going to preach on John 19 this week, and it's just really cool how, as I preach this and Jesus is just getting ready to go to the cross, then I'm going to jump back to John 3 16 on, of course, March 16th, and share how all this kind of came together and kind of use it as to launch into the rest of the crucifixion then.
But of course, that was more God's timing than mine, honestly, I have to admit. But one of the really cool things I found in studying this and really leading up to it is almost how Jesus had to convince Pilate to put him on the cross. It says that Pilate tried to free him several times, and I think when he was really challenging Pilate, Pilate was asking Jesus, Do you not know that I have the power to free you, or the power to crucify you?
Of course, Jesus responded, Well, you only have that power because it was given to you from above. But so many times through that discussion there, those questions that Pilate asked, Jesus actually remained silent. And I think it was an ironic point in the trial where Pilate was questioning Jesus to try to free him. And then John 19 goes on to continue to say, he tried to free him. But Jesus was that committed to going through with the Father's will, and man talk about humility, the power of humility, and how much he must have loved us to actually force that to happen in a sense. And so, yeah, so just pretty cool, you know. You're really bringing Philippians 2 to life there about the humility.
He became obedient to death. And, you know, Pilate's wife told him, Don't have anything to do with that just man. And what a great point to be bringing out, Jeremy. Tell our listeners about other people that you're hearing that's going to be preaching John 3 16 on March the 16th. Yeah, I mean, definitely some brought up to some people in our local area here in central Pennsylvania and and pitched it to them. And there's some that definitely like the idea and said, yeah, they're interested. We've sent it out to our we're part of a venture church network and we send it out to our local five states area and actually presented to the National Venture Church Network. And they, you know, they kind of put it out as an option for a thousand churches across America. So, yeah, at least getting word out and, you know, put it out there and let people make the decision for themselves.
So. That's absolutely beautiful. And, you know, I love, you know, God has you excited about John 19. I could hear that those are things that that that, you know, obviously he fed you so that so that you could feed your people that, you know, the ones he's given the opportunity to preach to is just a really, really, really cool thing. And I, I am just as excited or more excited, perhaps, to see how he feeds all these pastors. John 3 16. You know, it's in a similar way that they'll have something that they'll come out and just light up their world, you know, because you just feel a movement, right, of of God doing this. Jeremy, God bless you for what you're doing. And I suppose you're streaming it live and there's ways people could could listen to your message even this Sunday, right?
So we don't do live, but we do record it and it would be available afterwards. But, yeah, just at the www dot central dash baptist dash church dot com. And it's all on there. So central baptist church dot com.
I mean, it's pretty easy. If you want to. I know that that's going to be one exciting message on John 19 this weekend. And again, the following one on on John 3 16.
So excited for what you got going on, Pastor. Yeah, thank you very much. Appreciate it. Thanks, Jeremy.
Thank you. So how about you? What's what's stirring in you? Eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four.
I like O.J. 's question. If you want to try that one on. Did God love us more than his son in that he gave his son for us? I don't know that there's you know, that's always one of those things is like. Do I love one of my children more than, you know, I just love them differently and I you know, that's a great question.
I think I think you may have hit it right there. There's a love that is different because his love for his son's never going to end. There is the truth of this passage, this verse that those who do not believe are going to perish. I'm going to end my message with John one, eleven and twelve. He came into his own and his own received him not. But as many as did receive him, he gave them to be the gave them the power to become the sons of God. So there's a there's a verdict with this verse of we're going to find ourselves worshipping the lamb for all eternity. Revelation five. Or we're going to find ourselves if we don't receive him facing the wrath of the lamb for all eternity. Coming from Revelation chapter six.
And I think I like what you just brought out, Robbie. Even my own self, having started really studying into John three sixteen again, I've done messages on John three sixteen. It's one of those verses we know.
But you start diving in. And I just couldn't get over the fact that it's been brought out several times about the fact that he gave love is spelled G, A, V, E. He gave and and how did he give? Boy, if he just gave great wisdom, wouldn't that have been enough?
No, he had to give his life. And we've talked about this component before of of the crushing. And you brought some thoughts out to me about thinking about how you get the grape juice for communion, how you get the the bread for communion. Well, the grain had to be crushed. And in Isaiah 53, it speaks of him being crushed in that word. It almost hurts to say it just to think of the intensity, someone being crushed and Jesus was crushed for us so that we could have eternal life.
There is no greater love. So come on now. You can call us eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. We need your views. Eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. What jumps out at you? I can tell you, you know, as every time I look at it, it's something else jumps out at me. And if I really look and I think that's a beautiful thing. And, you know, as we were actually beginning the show, all of a sudden the word world jumped out at me and the concept that God loved the world so much. Right.
And there's that that idea I find fascinating. You know, Barry Maguire is a fellow car guy, Christian car guy, and he will tell you that his main thing is he evangelizes people. He gets in a taxi cab or whatever he does. He's always talking about the Lord. And what he just simply shares is, do you know God loves you? Do you know how many people don't know that? And deep in your own soul, do you if you really grasp, I really think most of my struggles in life, most of my frustrations, most of my anger comes from a standpoint of I don't really get it.
Yeah. That that if I really understood that one little part of the verse, God so loved the world. It starts off it says for God. So and what do you think the next date was going to be for God so hated the world. God was so angry with the world. And and does he not have a right to be angry with the world that that rebelled against him and curses him and breaks his commandments, hates him. And yet the surprising word comes for God so loved, loved.
And then it says the world and regrew up singing a song. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Yeah.
Red and yellow, black and white. They are precious. Yeah. And that's what this verse is telling us. I got to believe there's someone listening right now, Robbie. They got saved here in John three sixteen being preached. I wish they'd give us a call one eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. Give us a call. We'll be right back. This is Truth Talk live.
You're listening to the Truth Network and truth network dot com. Welcome back to Truth Talk live today. What is the value of John three sixteen to you individually in your heart? What does that feel like?
We would love to hear your views. Eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four is the number to call in and share eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. We got John Cross, I think is in Florida, right? John, you're on Truth Talk live. Yes, I sure am in beautiful Sarasota, Florida. Well, good afternoon.
I'm totally jealous, man. That's wonderful. Let's go. Good afternoon, Dr. Carson.
And you know what? It's somebody had to be called here. And God graciously placed my wife and I here. We're thankful. It is a beautiful place. I bet you have the most beautiful sunsets. Oh, they do.
They do. Indian Rocks Beach, man. Have you ever been efficient out there, John? I have not been up to Indian Rocks Beach, but I hear it's beautiful. Oh, yeah. But but yeah, I mean, we we have some some amazing sunsets here and sunrises.
You know, if you're depending on if you're on the Bayside and you're like out at Longbow Key or somewhere, you can see it come up as well. It's just gorgeous. What a great place that God's given us to live and to minister and honored to connect with you all day.
What an opportunity. John three sixteen. Wow.
Yeah. As beautiful as the sun rises and the sun sets. John three sixteen. It's the most beautiful verse any person will ever get to know. What do you think of that statement? Well, you know what?
I agree with you. And, you know, I think it's absolutely incredible that pastors around the world are going to be communicating. You know, the most important message everyone everywhere needs to hear. And that is Jesus is the answer to our greatest need, which is our sin. And he is the only answer to our need and to our greatest problem. So, wow. What a privilege to preach John three sixteen. Well, there's a pastor there in Florida and connected with other pastors around the country and the world.
What are you hearing right now as far as an excitement level for March the 16th? You know, if I might back up very quickly, Dwayne, I'm grateful God birthed this vision in your heart, a true God sized vision. I remember we talked about this. I think it's been at least a year ago or maybe a little more. Is that right? Yes, sir.
Yeah. And to see how there's been so much prayer and persistence and then to see now the conversation going global is another illustration of the power of prayer and a God sized vision. And I am hearing so much about it. Of course, as you know, here in our own state, Florida, Baptists comprised of several thousand churches are fired up about it and posting about it.
And I just keep hearing so many amazing stories from pastors about just a great way to bring us all together on one Sunday to share the greatest message on three sixteen, the gospel with things that Florida has done. Could you tell our listeners about the website they could go to to get some help? Yeah, we actually have a website.
And I'm embarrassed because you're forgetting, my friend, that I'm not Mr. Technology. So I will look it up while we're talking. But yeah, we have our own Florida Baptist website that they have developed. And of course, is for everyone.
And there are resources there to encourage pastors as they prepare. So I think it may be called John three sixteen Sunday. Three sixteen on three sixteen. OK. I'm going to help you out. What? I'll help you out. Thank you. Three three colon sixteen on three slash sixteen.
Yes, exactly. I finally got it up. And what a tremendous resource for pastors everywhere. And I'm just thankful that, you know, churches have latched on to this and are running with it. And I just think it's going to be great.
I really, really do. I think it's just exciting to hear what God's going to do through this. And as you know, it's not just Florida Baptist, but our own North American Mission Board is promoting this as well. So what a day. What a day.
It's so exciting. Thank you, John, so much for calling in today and for taking part in what God's doing on March 16th. God bless you. Well, and thank you all there for helping to communicate and promote the vision.
And we're going to be praying and believing God for a life impacting days. So you guys keep up the great work. Thank you, sir. Thank you so much, John. God bless.
Bye bye. We got Dan Davis and Dan is in Virginia, Virginia, Appomattox, Virginia. Something big happened in Appomattox. Hey, Dan, how are you, sir?
I'm doing well. Yes, big things did happen in Appomattox. Well, we're hoping for some big things to happen on March 16th.
What do you think about that? Yes, I'm excited about it. I know you and I, I think, again, talked about this idea almost feels like two years ago, but maybe it wasn't quite that long ago.
But I remember you began to have this vision and idea and and it seemed a long way off at the time. And now it's right around the corner. Twelve days. Robby's reminding today is March 4th day and we're marching forth now to 316 and it's right around the corner.
What are you looking forward to happening that day? Well, you know, we're we're asking our church members and attenders to prayerfully invite someone to come with them, a neighbor, a friend, relative, somebody that doesn't know Christ, and just to have the opportunity to share the simple truth of the gospel. We're going to walk through the interaction with Jesus, the Nicodemus, and land on John 3.16, maybe 17 and 18 as well. But just to be able to present the simple but powerful truth that Jesus saves. And I think it's just a great reminder, too, for all of us that that the gospel is powerful. And I think I can forget that sometimes. And sometimes the thing that we have to make people believe or do these things and to remember that simply and proclaim the gospel, that God uses the gospel to save. Yeah, it's and, you know, even though we know it and even though, you know, we've experienced it, I don't know how many times the Lord's allowed us to do it doesn't know. It just always seems to come as a big surprise to me.
Oh, look what he did. Yeah. And I think that it does remind us that salvation is always a miracle. And it always takes the work of God to transform a heart and for that to him illuminate our need. And so, yeah, I think you're dead. I appreciate the way you shared that.
I think it exactly describes it. Well, Dan, we've got a lot of listeners there in the Lynchburg Appomattox area. Tell them about your church and what time they need to be there on 3.16.
Sure. Reedy Spring Baptist Church. We're just outside of Appomattox on Reedy Spring Road, 1315 Reedy Spring Road.
Our morning service is at 11 o'clock and we would love to have you join us and we'd love to meet you and love to celebrate with you. So come on out. You got a website? Yes, it is reedyspring.com. And that's R-E-D-Y springs. So are the springs truly Reedy? Well, there is a spring. So it's actually—the church used to be called Reedy Springs and now it's Reedy Spring because they realized there was only one spring.
You can probably imagine how that went. But there actually is a—so this church was founded in the 1830s and it started as a school and then turned into a church and there is a spring nearby. It is not on our property, but we actually have the—we actually technically have the rights to access it because back in the day they needed to for water. And at one time it was called Meeting House Spring and there was a stagecoach that went through here. So there's a lot of history in the area.
So there is a spring and I imagine there were some reeds. So that's all we got to see. Yeah, and if you were standing there in 1865, it would have been exciting, right? It would have been real exciting, yes. I'm sure there would have been a lot of talk then.
Is the spring deep enough for you to do baptism in? No, it's quite overgrown and inaccessible I believe these days. Oh, well, it was fun to talk about it. That would have been neat.
Yeah, so there is some neat history there. Well, thank you again, Dan. God bless you. And again, we're all praying at 4 o'clock every day, both a.m. and p.m., whichever you happen to be wanting to do it, 4 a.m. and p.m. All right.
We're praying for John 3.16. Thank you, my friend. God bless you. Hey, yeah, God bless you and thank you so much for having me on. I appreciate it.
You're welcome. Bye-bye. All right, we got Mike.
He's in Dayton, Ohio. Mike, we got a minute or so. Give us your best shot at what does it mean to you, buddy? It means a lot to me.
When I was young, me and my family went to church for the first time and they had communion and they was on the altar. It said, do this in remembrance of me. And my dad said, just do whatever they do.
You know, they take that, you know, this is if they're, you know, either praying you pray and he's he's whispering to us, do whatever they do. And I did. And but I'll never forget that word. Do this in remembrance of me. And then the pastor preached on John 3.16. Really?
Yes. And about two days later, I received Christ in the bathroom. And it was all because they had communion and those words on the altar, do this in remembrance of me.
And that's for God to love the world. And I was reading the what do you call it, a track that my my dad brought home from work. And it had that on there. And I would never forget it. Forget all that. You know, it's so beautiful about that, Mike, as you're talking about it. And I hate we don't have much time, but I know the Hebrew letter Zion is the second letter in the word power. And the idea of that is to remember.
And so the power that comes in remembering, in other words, you turn your heart to God and you remember, like like you said, in communion, phenomenal, phenomenal power. I love it. I love it. Thank you, Mike.
That was what a what a way to end the show, man. John 3.16. It's coming your way. Four o'clock. Be praying for him. Four p.m. Take your choice. March 4th.
