This is the Truth Network.

The Truth Network. Be it with your own eyes. And that's an unbelievable merciful moment as well. And so as I was studying that whole idea, as it actually is the topic of my sermon, is that particular beatitude this coming week. And I started to study, and if you know me well, I love to look at Hebrew and those kind of things. And so I came across this idea that, wow, what Jesus had said in that beatitude, he was kind of quoting the 18th Psalm. And so when I looked in the 18th Psalm, I could read that idea, blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy in Hebrew. And I saw that the two words, I thought the words would be the same, merciful and mercy.

Of course, I knew that one was an adjective and one was a noun, but I expected them to be essentially the same idea in Hebrew, but there was a gigantic difference, a gigantic difference. And I'm gonna go into that a little bit in the show, but maybe the best way to say this would be just to tell you a story about what happened last weekend, and it has to do with actually a truth listener. So again, what I would love for your story of when you were merciful or you got to take part in that, and I need you to call in at 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884, when was your merciful moment either giving or getting, right, as the case may be.

So, so lucky to work for the Truth Network, not lucky, so blessed to work for the Truth Network, so grateful for Stu and his vision to have this, and we had a listener about six, seven weeks ago that had sent in an email through the website that they were struggling with stage four cancer, and they had some other things that they were, you know, wanting to talk to somebody about, and our COO, Michael Corone, said, well, Rabia, you know, you're a pastor, why don't you see if you can help this individual? And so I called him, I texted him, I didn't hear anything for a while, and all of a sudden I heard a text, and I tried to call him again, I still couldn't get up with him, but I texted him back, and texted him back, and you know, kept trying to call, and didn't feel like I was really getting much progress. Well, last Wednesday, a week ago Wednesday, right, yesterday was Wednesday, but a week prior Wednesday night, I was actually on my way to church, and I get this text, and it says, I feel like God's leading me to baptism, like I need to be baptized, how much does it cost?

And I thought, oh, man. So I immediately texted him back, oh, we got a special this weekend at Ashboro Baptist Church, you know, all you can dunk for free. So, you know, I said, oh, man, we would be honored, honored, honored, and well, you know, we made arrangements for that to happen, and I was so excited that he would make that trip, he lived in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and so that's probably an hour drive over to Urari Street in Ashboro, North Carolina, for him to be baptized, and I asked, you know, Lord, you know, like, some way that you can be there, like 15 minutes early so we can go over the procedure, and actually he did answer the phone this time, and I got a chance to talk to him, just a wonderful guy, and he assured me that he would be there, and we had it all set up. Well, you know, if you're a pastor and you're trying to get your sermon together, you can imagine what it might be like if quarter to 11 comes and he's not there, and you were planning on doing the baptism right at the beginning of the service before everything started, and five minutes to 11 came and he's not there. He had 11 o'clock comes and he's not there, and of course, yeah, I've never seen him face to face, never had any, well, so I immediately texted, and he was like, wow, I am in the Urari National Forest, in other words, going to Urari Street in Ashboro.

He went to the Urari National Forest. He said he was about 20 minutes away, but I thought, man, that's more like 45, which I think I was a little bit closer, and so I had talked to one of our ushers, and I said, please, can you kind of stay out there, and when you see him, because I imagine it's gonna be hard to come in if he's that late, because he said he was gonna come, and so we had a wonderful usher stay out there, wait on him, and wait on him, and like I thought, about 10 minutes to 11, he got there, I mean, 10 minutes to 12, he got there, right, and by this time, I'm about done with my sermon, and we were doing communion, how fun is that, and so I had a chance to allow somebody else in the church to do a wonderful job of communion, which they do, and I took him back, and as I got a chance to really meet him for the first time in person and talk with him, I could see, you know, wow, he really is, you know, struggling with cancer, and so I asked him, you know, after we baptized you, which he was very excited about, I was very excited to get to do it, would it be all right if we annoyed you with oil and laid hands on you, and he said, oh, yeah, that would be wonderful, well, you can imagine, I mean, oh my goodness, he came out of, number one, he said, Robbie, hold me down as long as possible. And so to some extent, I obliged a little bit, like, you know, we're gonna do this, and then he came up, he was so excited, he was so excited, and I could tell, man, he was raised to walk in newness of life, it was absolutely beautiful, and then we, you know, he's still kinda soaking wet, and I, you know, we go down in front of the church, and we, you know, all called for people to come up and lay hands on him, I mean, like Nick, most, most of everybody at the church, you know, came down, and then, you know, as we all prayed, I, have you ever seen the Holy Spirit just show up to something, and man, there's so many people that were in tears, and you could just see the Spirit moving, and people praying, and beautiful prayers, not that they don't always pray beautiful prayers, but, you know, those Spirit-inspired ones, and it's like, you got to see mercy come out that way, like, when did you see that? I would love to hear from you, really, really would, 866-348-7884, right?

God's at work all the time, handing it out, sometimes we get to be the hands. We'll be right back, give us a call. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network, and TruthNetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live today. When did you have a merciful moment? Maybe a time where you were the recipient of the mercy, or maybe you were given the opportunity to be the hand of mercy, and the reason I say that is I was, well, before I say that, I've got to say the number, because I need your calls.

I would love to hear the stories. 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share. 866-348-7884, like, when you looked at the, I looked at the word merciful in Hebrew, I noticed something, I was expecting it to be the word hesed, which, hesed is a Hebrew word, one of the words for mercy, and it's used in the 23rd Psalm. You'll notice that when King David said, surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Well, that is a noun, and that is the word hesed, and it's just, to describe that for you, it's so miraculous that it's really above my pay grade in order to do it, because it starts out with the letter het, which, in Hebrew, has everything to do with relationship, especially our relationship with God. It's also the beginning of the word grace, that letter het, and if you could picture what a marriage canopy looks like, you could picture the letter het.

It's kind of like an H, but it's got, you know, the crossbar goes across the top. And the idea of that letter is a coming together of a man and a wife, where the wife is a reflection of the husband, specifically, we're a reflection of Christ, and so our union with God is kind of in the picture of that ideal of the letter het. Well, the second letter in the word hesed is the psalmic, and the letter psalmic would be easy to recognize, because it is a zero, it looks like an O. And the interesting thing about that letter, if you look at the 119 Psalm, we can see there's eight verses on every letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and they give us a great idea of the meaning and the deeper meaning of those letters. And this is the letter that King David himself was terrified of, it says, my flesh trembles for fear of thee, and every one of them a righteous judgment. So, obviously, this letter had King David's attention, and the letter really almost represents the idea of gravity.

In other words, when you think about it, the earth circles around the sun, and the moon circles around the earth, and all those things get you into that figure eight kind of idea of infinity, but also of gravity. And so when you think of a tornado or a hurricane or a circle, but also a wedding ring, okay? It's a very powerful force, and when you think about it, it's way above anything that I can come up with, and it has a lot to do with a great big God hug, but by the same token, it's also like, if God decides to take out somebody that's hurting his bride, believe me, he's got the wherewithal to take him out. But also, when you think about forgiving somebody that's really, really, really hurt you, it's impossible to do without, it's a miracle. And so to me, mercy in and of itself is miraculous, and because of that, again, that idea of we're in our union to God, he can do things that a regular human can't do, including die on a cross for my sins and providing the blood so that I could restore the relationship. I mean, that's the ultimate mercy, and so the letter Psalmic is the second letter in the word hesed, and the third letter in the word hesed, you can hear it in the D sound at the end of hesed, and of course, I love that letter because my last name's Dilmore, so I gotta relate to the Dalit.

But that idea of that Dalit is quite often connected to the idea of service and most, the idea of self-sacrificial love, right? That idea of how Jesus died for us, and so we get this idea of a union that has this miraculous power that's done to service, and therein lies the word hesed, and the word mercy. It really is something spectacular that, based on our union, God does. Well, if you really, really love one of your children or something like that, it's easier to delve out mercy. That takes a little bit more miraculous.

That guy cuts you off in traffic that you don't know. That's another kind of mercy, but sometimes the closest people hurt us, and it's even more difficult to forgive, and that idea is, again, mercy. But merciful, I saw this this week for the first time, and it just blew my mind.

Merciful uses, interestingly, in the same three letters, but it adds the letter yud, which is, the letter yud is the little that means a lot. It's just the dot where you first touch the pen to the paper and the idea is God had to contract himself, you know, a God that is eternal and certainly bigger than anything in order to make a finite world. An infinite God making a finite world would have to contract himself, and that idea of the big boom, or whatever you wanna call it, is, you know, God sets us that little bitty point in there, but he's got everything.

It's like when the atom explodes, boom, boom. Well, a yud's like that, but when you put a yud next to a dollard, which is what happens in the idea of that hesside idea, that is the merciful, you see, a yud and a dollard is the hand. So when you hear somebody saying, oh, that's a yid, or they speak Yiddish, well, the Jews believe that they are the hand of God, and so that's the idea of the yid.

And when they speak Yiddish, they're doing, hopefully, godly things in order to be what they feel God called them to be, which was the hand of God. And so when you put a hand on the back of the head in the psalm, you see what I'm talking about, then when you're handing out this hessid in the psalm, you get to see what literally is God's hand now, because I can't hand out any miracles. You know, I know Nick might can. Can you hand out miracles, Nick?

Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. But when you get to be like, oh my goodness, you know, for those who know that I do the Christian car guy, Jesus, labor, love, right? And we get to give away cars, and we get to give away, you know, all the listeners and folks that support the Jesus, labor, love through prayer, oh my goodness, the prayers that go into that ministry, and all the repair shops that do it, and all those things, you know, it amazes me no end that I get to be any part of that. But I do, and so, you know, just, you know, last week there's this lady got this car, and you know, to see her face light up, and this long thank you letter, like, you know, but really all I was was just the hand of the miraculous power that was absolutely coming out there, you see? And so I'm hoping through all this discussion it's ringing a bell on you, and you go, oh yeah, that happened in my life. Well, when it did, that's when you're supposed to call Robbie on the truth talk live.

866-348-7884. When was your merciful moment? Maybe you were the hand of mercy, maybe you were the one being merciful, or maybe you received it.

Maybe you received it, you know, and somebody else had a hand in it, however that worked. I would love to know. 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share, and again, your testimony is always, you know, man, it glorifies God, right?

He's made perfect through our weakness, and again, when we get a chance to shine, you know, maybe somebody needs to hear that word from you, so you call us during the break. Got plenty of time. 866-348-7884. 866-304-TRUTH. So much more Truth Talk Live.

Coming up, stay tuned. Truth Talk Live! You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today the question is, when did you have a merciful moment? In other words, maybe you received mercy that you did not expect, or that you didn't feel like you deserved, or however that worked.

When did you receive it? Or maybe you took part in it, and part of the merciful part that you were the hand of God, in something that you saw transpire, that it's like, oh my goodness, look what God did, and you played some role in that, whatever that might be. You know, both of those obviously glorify God, and I realize that the whole thing is like, miraculous, and so I would love to hear it. 866-348-7884 is the number to call and share.

866-348-7884. So Nick, I'm thinking, oh, Nick's on the phone, with hopefully a caller, he's got that merciful moment, which I'm anxious to hear about. Well, you know, I've got so many that obviously I've, maybe I shouldn't say obviously, but I've seen so many different times, the hand of God do stuff, but sometimes it's real simple like this. Yesterday I was having to try to put a ladder on the back of our boat, and the way it worked is that the ladder was to go on the end of the swim platform, and of course, Robbie being the Christian car guy decided to attempt this feat just on my own. Well, as it turned out, I realized that in order to put the bolt where it needed to go, it had to go clear back, at the very back of the end of the swim platform, and you had to reach clear through the engine compartment into there in order to put this, and you couldn't see it, but there was a bolt that came down, and I had to take a washer that was in my left hand, and a nut that was in my left hand, and somehow or another get that washer up over that bolt, and then get the nut on there, and all that with my left hand, and I'm right-handed, and if I dropped it, it would fall hopelessly into the engine compartment, and I didn't have any extras, and so there was this predicament, right, and I could see that this was more than I had. There was no way in the world I could do this, this particular feat, and really in an awkward position, stretching as far as you could possibly do, and I got really long arms, and so I'm stretching and stretching. I start praying, like, God, this one's over my, I can't do this, but I can do it with your help. Somehow or another, you gotta do this. You gotta do it, and so, man, I started to push up on the little washer, and the bolt started to give way and go up, and I'm like, oh, no, no, I can't.

Lord, you gotta help me. And then it came down a little bit, and then I could feel the nut in my hand just right, and I'm trying to twist it on, and it's cross-threading, and I'm like, oh, no, no, no, no, no, I can't lose. And eventually, man, when that thing started to go on there, I was like, praise God, that was merciful. Right there, it took a miracle, believe me.

My left hand is not capable of doing that maneuver, but once I saw it happen, I couldn't help it, praise God. I was like, man, why didn't I ask for your help about 10 minutes ago, and I could've saved myself a whole lot of grief. When did you have a merciful moment, or maybe you were the hand of mercy, and I got Mike in Dayton, Ohio. Mike, you're on Truth Talk Live. I know you have.

Yeah, I got lots of them, but this is the one that this was recently. I'm in line at the Left Turns Lane, so I'm in line in Left Turn Lane, and there's a homeless guy asking for money, and he's there. Well, somebody's there every morning, every evening, and I see them every day. And I just kind of hope and pray that I go by the light. I don't know why I do this. I don't know why I don't want to look at the guy. I don't know why I don't have mercy for this guy.

Well, today I had mercy for him. I looked, and there he was. And for some reason, I'm way back.

I'm way back in line. And I'm like, oh my gosh, God, why am I so far back? I guess you want me to do something for this guy up here today. And God's telling me to do this, right? And he says, well, I don't have any cash.

And God goes, yeah, you do. You have $5 on your wallet. And I'm like, oh yeah, that's right. I do have $5 in my wallet.

I mean, I'm like. So I scramble around, and I couldn't find my wallet. And he says, it's in the console. And I went, oh, okay, there it is. It's in the console.

I put it in the console, and I reached. And the light turned three times. So I'm going up to this light three times. And the light turns three times to get my wallet, to get the $5 out, and to give this guy the $5.

Because it's homeless, and I didn't read his sign but anything. And I got up to the thing, and amazingly, I was right even with him where I stopped. And I rolled down my window, and I grabbed my $5, and I handed it to him. And I said, can I pray with you, sir?

And he says, I guess so. I says, okay, I'm gonna pray with you, sir. And I prayed a spiritual prayer that God gave me. I said, Lord, please let him know you. Let him change his ways. Let him use this $5 to edify his body and then what he needs for today.

May he know Christ as Lord and Savior. And then the light changed. The guy honked behind me, and the guy said, can I talk to you more? And I said, sure, I'll pull over. So we pulled over. I pulled over, and I was able to talk to him about Christ. And I was- Did he really?

What a story. That was today. That was yesterday, yesterday. And not today. Well, yes, it was today. My gosh, the day goes by so fast, you know what I mean? Yes, it was today.

It was this morning. And you know, it's amazing that what God will do and humble yourself, because I always thought, my gosh, go get a job, there's jobs everywhere. What's wrong with these people? You know what I mean? And I'm not trying to be mean, but I'm like, go get a job, you know? And I said, and I gave him the $5, and I said, how can I help you? You know what I mean, I'm seriously, I want you to change your life and your direction.

You know what I mean? And he did, he changed his hope. And I looked up, there's a couple homeless shelters in the area that looked up that were Christian ones.

I called them, and he's going there, and he's going to get some help from them. And it was, he had a bright smile on his face when we're all said and done. And I hope and pray that he changes ways. I mean, I really do. I hope, I really believe in my heart that God stopped me three times at that light to tell him about Christ, you know what I mean, and pray for him, so.

Oh, absolutely. Well, let me first say, I know you got a story out there, so you can call with yours. We would love to hear it at 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. When did you give or receive mercy?

We'd love to hear that. But Mike, did you get that man's name? Oh, I didn't. And I, you know, I kicked myself. No, no, it's okay.

Well, God knows exactly who he is. I was just gonna say, why don't we pray? I can see your heart for that.

And well, but we'll pray in a second. But I'm also curious, you know, when you got it, after you pulled over, was his interest still as high or higher? His interest was higher. He didn't wanna go back over to the roadside and ask for money anymore.

He was hoping to give that up. And I said, well, I don't remember the homeless place that they help. I Googled it at the time, you know what I mean? I just quickly Googled it and I gave it to him. And I gave him, I wrote down the address and the number to that. And I says, I know that these people will help you.

And I'm sorry, I just can't remember them what they are. I think- Oh, it's okay. I know in Winston-Salem's, Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, and I often think of that, but I think it's so cool that God told you this time, right? He knew this guy was ready for the whole thing. He told you five bucks, right? Like I can hear the conversation like, God, I don't want him to go out and buy a beer with this money. And God said, work with me here, Mike.

Do what I told you to do, five bucks and look him. But the beautiful thing about it to me is your obedience in that. And then just the courage and the boldness, right? To say- Yeah, the boldness, yeah. To pray with him right then, even though he goes, ugh.

Yeah, and I said, I don't care about the light. I want to pray with you, you know what I mean? And then the light stayed red for the longest time. And then it turned green. And then we were almost done with the prayer. And then the guy goes, and I said, end of the prayer. And then he goes, well, can you talk to me more? And I said, I'd be glad to. And then I pulled over and then I talked to him more. And he wanted help, you know? And I says, well, I don't know how to help you. Maybe we can find some homeless shelter that can help you.

You know what I mean? So- All right, well, we got to go to a break, but we need your story. I'm going to come back, pray with Mike, but it wouldn't be near as much fun if you don't call. 866-348-7884.

When was your merciful moment? 866-34-TRUTH. We'll be right back. Truth Talk Live. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com.

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today the question is, you know, when did you have a merciful moment? As Jesus said in Matthew chapter five, right? Jesus said, blessed are the merciful for they will receive mercy.

And so we get to be the hand of mercy sometimes, and sometimes we had mercy handed to us. We would love to hear your story, because I know you got one. You've been listening to Mike's quite phenomenal story. We need yours, 866.

The number to call in is 866-348-7884. And believe me, if you never called in, all the more reason to call, because I love new callers, but I love old callers, and I certainly love frequent callers like Mike. And so Mike, your stories never cease to amaze me in the boldness that you have. And so, you know, again, I know God is clearly at work in the man's life, but I just am marveled at how God, you know, like, how many times have you been to that intersection?

Apparently it's one you're at frequently and not done anything. Every day. Every day. I see a different, most of the same time the same guy. This time it was a different guy.

And most of the time I see the same person over and over again, and I never see anybody handing him out money. And I just don't know why they stand there, but they do. And it happened to be a really long line, like I said, you know. And it was, you know, God was playing the light part. Yeah, which makes it all, you know, usually about the third light turn and I'm at the same intersection. Now, I'm not feeling real merciful at that point. These people didn't go through the light very fast, yeah. All these people on their cell phones that didn't take off, you know, I'm looking at the distance between each car and mercy is just not coming out automatically.

I don't know why that is. No, I tried, yeah, but I, yeah, again, I had plenty of it that day, or today, you know, this morning. And, wow, it's just God, you know. And so if you didn't hear the first, the last segment of Mike, you know, the amazing part of the story is Mike, you know, says, all right, you know, as he's handing the guy the $5, God told him to give him, he says, all right, if I pray with you, and the guy goes, uh. And I can't tell you, Mike, the reason I can relate to that is, you know, we have Jesus' labor love applicants, we call all the time, and I can't tell you how many times when I've asked him that question, and he goes, all right, if I pray with you, and they go, uh, and at that point in time, you just start in, like, Jesus, thank you for, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

That's exactly what I did, because I thought the light was going to change, and it took a while, so, you know, and, ha, ha, ha. So, you know, let's get God in on this, if at all possible, even this moment between you and I. So, Jesus, thank you for Mike, and I'm so grateful for his call, and I'm so grateful for this story, that even today, right, that this poor guy, who knows what he's been through, or you do know, Lord, and now seeds are planted and hope's been issued, and clearly there's these people there that are the hand of mercy at this rescue mission, or the rehabilitation place that Mike led him to, and so I pray that you'd give him, give this guy the boldness to show up, right, to come for what you have for him, Lord, especially what you have for him in your son, Jesus, that would clearly cover him way more than that five dollars and make such an impact on his life, Lord. We know you started this, and you're gonna, you began a good work, you're gonna finish it so exciting that someday we'll be in heaven and meet this man. Lord, you know who he is, and Lord, help him to have the courage to keep stepping out, even now. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. Amen.

Thank you, yeah. I really believe that this guy went there because he said to me, you know, we get a free Uber around here because the buses don't come by anymore, and I said, well, let's call the Uber, and he goes, okay, and I, and we sat and called an Uber for him, so, and so, and he had an Uber number, and then you call, and then the Uber was coming to his location, so. To take him to the rescue mission, to take him to the place. To take him to the rescue mission, yes, yes, and that's something, and isn't that funny? He says, yeah, we get a free Uber around here. I don't even need to use this $5. I says, okay, let's call the Uber.

You can't even make this stuff up. So my, I mean, one of the questions I, you know, just runs across my mind is, like, weren't you in a hurry to be somewhere? I would be in a hurry. You know, it was so weird, it was weird. I got up at, I normally get up around 6.30-ish, you know. Today, that night, I just couldn't sleep very well at that, today. And I got up about five o'clock, and I got up five o'clock and looked at, looked at some taxes and looked at the Bible for a second, and then said, you know, I'm just gonna go to work because I, you know, I got a little bunch of do, and I'll feel better if I get this accomplished, you know what I mean? And so, so, you know, I was kinda led by God about it, you know, to go to work early, and then I went to work early, and here I am, okay, I'm going to work early, but I can't make it through this light, you know?

You know what I mean? And there's this, I mean, there was a lot of cars, 30, 40 cars, I've never seen it so big. I mean, making a left turn.

I just don't understand, couldn't figure it out. I was probably at a different time than you're used to being there, and obviously. Yeah, it was, you would think earlier would be better, but nonetheless, there you were, you had the time, and then I love the, can I pull over here, right?

Yeah. And do you have time to talk to me, and it's amazing how God has those appointments for us, and certainly divine providence that, you know, he gives the, you know, I see a new, the obedience factor, right, you know, that the Holy Spirit wouldn't be quenched in me, because when he tells me to do something like, all right, let go of the $5. Yeah, you know, I'm at home now, I just got home, and my wife goes, do you have that $5? Well, there's a story. And I, you're the first one to hear the story, so I gotta, now I gotta go in and tell her, and she says, are you really talking on the phone, on the phone to the radio show again today?

I go, yep, she goes, okay, and then she doesn't want me to have you to have her talk to me, so she walks in the house. Yeah, yeah, well, we're grateful, because my day would not be the same without this story, Mike, as many of your stories are, and, you know, again. God is so awesome, isn't he? I mean, he just is, he just does things that just brightens your day, just brightens your life.

You have a purpose for it. If you follow him and honor him and respect him and have meekness and have the, you know, the things that you need to have with God, he's willing to live with you every second of the day, you know what I mean? And I didn't know this until probably about nine months ago, 10 months ago, maybe a year ago, I always was doing things for God and not with God, and about a year or maybe two, I am realizing that I need to do things with God and be humble and listen to God and tell me what I need to do and what I need to say every moment of the day, and it's not easy.

No, but, you know, in moments like that where, you know, you're sitting in an intersection with a bunch of people, obviously also impatient, sitting there, you know, on their horns or whatever, and then, you know, the whole pulling over thing and then, you know, waiting on the Uber to get there and off he goes, and, you know, it's. It's God, you know, it's just I hope and pray that he received Christ at that moment, I think he did. He had a smile on his face, I thought, you know, I just, you know, I mean, I kind of led him to Christ at that time, you know, I says, you need to follow the direction of God, and I wish I had some more information in my hand, but I didn't, but, you know, that's my mind telling me.

So did you have a sense that he knew who Jesus was and what he'd done or was this new information for you? Yeah, yeah, I really do. I really think he was denying what he really needs to do in life, does that make sense? He went through that rabbit hole, I think, that's what I feel, you know, in my sense, is that he kind of just went down that rabbit hole and just to, you know, didn't care about anything or anyone. And I kind of, that's what my heart was to him, was that God cares for you, and so do I, you know, so, and here I'm helping you right now.

So maybe there's not a lot of people like me, but I'm gonna try, okay? And I wish I would have got his phone number, I wish I got his name, I don't know why, I felt odd where I was parked, you know what I mean? Waiting on the Uber a little bit, you know?

Oh, it had to be, the whole thing was awkward. But interestingly, the more difficult things, you know, God gave you the boldness, or the Spirit gave you the boldness to dive in there and do that in that moment, where, you know, clearly those other things weren't relevant to the real issue at hand, which was his relationship with God, and you were there for such a time as this, for that moment, that God knew that, and again, for all of us, we go home tonight, you know? What's gonna be there that God's tugging on your heart? And let me just say that there's a lot of times you don't need to be merciful, right? If God ain't tugging, that's some dangerous stuff.

I've had some friends help folks like that, and it didn't go well. So make sure the Holy Spirit's involved. Mike, as always, I'm honored by your friendship, your call, and I'll go out there and be merciful. And so thank you all for listening today, and we'll be back tomorrow with a whole lot more Truth Talk Live. God bless. Another program powered by the Truth Network.
