Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Ladies and gentlemen, I hope and pray that you are doing well. What a joy it is to have this opportunity to host this segment today. Kudos to my good friend Stu Epperson for allowing me this opportunity to do so.
Stu is a man amongst men. He's one that is doing a great work in the kingdom and we all celebrate him. Now, I am flanked by a wonderful, wonderful co-host today.
The one and only Crystal Amanchukwu who happens to be my wife. Crystal, can you greet the people and say something today? Hello, hello, hello, everyone.
It's a happy Monday on Truth Talk Live. We are so excited about being here with you all. We have an exciting conversation coming up today. There is so much going on. I can't wait to jump into all of it, John. So much that we want to say but we want to say hello and welcome. Well, it's our first time being here so I guess you should be welcoming us but we're so glad to be here. Welcome to Truth Talk Live with John and Crystal Amanchukwu.
Yes and listen, we met back in 2004 when I came to the Upper Room Church of God in Christ. I chose to go to the upper room and you had no choice. Kind of, yeah. That's true. Pretty much. Oh, yeah.
I'm I'm I'm right. That's why I said it because you know, your father is the senior pastor and the bishop of the Upper Room Church of God in Christ to those who are out there. You probably remember Bishop Patrick Lane Wooden Sr. when he would come on with the one and only Steve Noble. Yes, Steve Noble is a legend. I love that man. He's a blessing.
He's been a part of our family for a long time. I have stood in front of abortion clinics trying to save babies, locked arms with Steve Noble and he's been a contender for the faith for many years but Bishop Wooden is is is your father. I'm a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Christ that came to the Upper Room in 2004 while playing football at NC State.
Woo. So, to all of those Carolina fans out there, Wake Forest fans, and Duke fans, I want to be the first to tell you that there's only one school. There's only one university in this state that matters and it's the NC State. That's right. Wolfpack.
Now, State Wolfpack in the house. That's right. Now, now my wife, she isn't perfect. She she's not perfect and I'm not perfect for some reason or another. Oh, you're perfect. Oh no, I'm far from perfect. And the most perfect decision I made was to get saved and to marry you. Alright.
But my perfection. See, that's what I mean. Has has been has has has waned at times. Now, Crystal decided to leave the Wolfpack and go over and do her masters at UNC Chapel Hill. So, we had to redeem her in the blood of the lamb and and help her understand that you can't walk over to the Tar Heels but you know what? You know what? You know what?
We went over there. I guess it's okay and we we can make it acceptable although during football and basketball season, it's all about 100%. It's all about the Wolfpack. I wasn't into sports at the time, right?
To me, it was just like I'm in North Carolina. All these wonderful schools are here. Let me just go to all of the ones that I can but now that I'm into into sports, it's NC State all the way. I married this NC State football player. What else?
What else am I going to do? I found the strongest man on NC State's football team. That's right. A bench press of 450 pounds. I could rep 315 over 20 times. I mean, I could leap buildings at a single bound and now when I think about some of the things that I used to do, my knees begin to flare up and arthritis begins to come through my body because you know what, man?
It it takes a lot of stamina and condition to develop yourself to do all of those things but in 2004, I came to the Upper Room Treasure Garden in Christ, sat in the back of the church service on that Sunday and I saw you at the time you were playing the drums. Mm hmm. You know what I mean? Yeah.
And I was able to catch what is called the panoramic view. Alright. When you got up off of the drums and at the time, you were already playing and so I didn't want to you know, interrupt or anything of that nature but I but this is what I knew. I knew sitting in the back of the church on that Sunday that the lord had spoke to me. He spoke to me before he spoke to you.
That's right. He spoke to me. God talks to the the man first. Hey, sometimes he does.
Sometimes he doesn't but if if you listen, he'll he'll speak to you but he spoke to me. Praise the lord. I'm beating my chest. He spoke to me and he said, that's going to be your wife and over the process of time, you became available on the market and I didn't initially rush in because I didn't want to be a rebound.
You know, I like basketball but I don't want to be a rebound but I don't want to be a rebound and so I waited in the rest is history. We we I engaged to you on a Sunday morning at the Upper Room Church of God in Christ in 2007 and you know, the the rest the rest is history. It was a beautiful day.
It was unbelievable just to see John in all of his glory and he's small now compared to how big he was at the time he was playing football and guys, John had to have been 292 pounds. I think that's what I remember and to see you get on your knees and propose and it was still to this day, the most beautiful sight that I've ever seen. So, that was a big day. That was a big day. Big day. We got married at what was it?
4 months or four or 5 months later in November. We got married for 16 years. 3 kids later, we have a 14 year old son, John Patrick, a 13 year old daughter, Pamela and a 7 year old son, John Jr AKA Spider Man. That's right and you know, we we do ministry together. We served at the abortion clinic together.
We serve at the Upper Room Church of God in Christ together. We even have the ministry of I know God.us and we do that ministry together as well and I'm now traveling the country defending and protecting children everywhere, not just in North Carolina, not just for my children but children all around the country and I'm now labeled as what they call the book banning pastor and it makes no sense. You know, I believe that children should not have to read pornographic materials in school. When you go to school, you just can't type in a pornographic website like Pornhub and go to it.
They put blockers on that because they want to protect kids. I feel that we should do the same thing together. We need to get rid of these woke individuals who seek to pervert the hearts and the minds of our kids. We're coming back. We'll be back. So many people have the idea that God's going to grade on the curve. We're bad. We're not as bad as somebody else but God doesn't grade on the curve. As a matter of fact, James said in James chapter 2 verse 10, Jesus ever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point the same as guilty of all. You see, God demands absolute perfection and none of us in ourselves can provide it and that's why we need the gospel. That's why we need the righteousness of God that comes by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. There's somebody here who would say that you've always kept all God's 10 commandments.
Of course not. Well, you say, I've only broken one. I don't believe that but let's suppose you'd only broken one. Here's a man dangling over a fire by chain of 10 links. Nine of those links are made of forged steel and one of them is made of crepe paper.

Crystal Amanchukwu. Now, this is an election year. If you haven't figured that already out already, you have not been watching the news. You haven't been scrolling on social media and more than likely, you probably want to be prepared to vote because you're just out of the loop of what is going on. Hear me and hear me clear. This is an election year and people will do whatever is possible and necessary to sway your vote and convince you to vote for their political party. Now, I'll be the first to tell you that Christians should vote biblical values. We should not vote in a manner that appeases the culture. No, we want to please God. We don't simply want to appease God through our vote. We want to please God through our vote. We want our vote to line up with the Word of God and what the Bible says. Now, recently, a lady by the name of Michelle posted on X, which is formerly known as Twitter. She said these words.
She said, Young women, do you like driving, dressing however you want, working, going to school, having fun with friends, having your own bank account, making your own decisions. Theocracies take all of that away. The GOP wants a Christian theocracy. This is serious. So vote blue. Listen, I can't even get through this post, this this mishmash, this hodgepodge of information. I mean, this word word salad.
It's hard to get through it without laughing. Crystal, you know, the question, the question is simple. You know, do you think this will happen if we vote red?
And I'm glad to have you have you on today. A woman who can speak to this. Is this going to happen if we vote red? No.
All right. Not judging by what we already see happening. I think the best way to predict the future is to look at history. And as one person put as a comment on this, they said, yeah, let's keep voting for the party that is literally trying to replace women. I mean, and that's what the that's what the Democrat Party is doing. That's what the liberal movement is all about.
I think the question is not so much. Do you like driving or dressing however you want? Did you like going to the store and looking for your dresses and they be in the women's section?
That's right. And not be in the men's section. Do you like going to the restroom and not having to share your personal space like your restrooms and your lockers with men? That's a good question. That's a great question. Do you want to be able to continue to have Mother's Day and not have Mother's Day minimalized to Parents Day because there's a party that is entertaining people who have the idea that it's better to have a Parents Day than a Mother's Day because you have some men who want to be mothers.
Oh man, it's just a mishmash. So are you saying that Democrats are pushing policies that would remove the true essence and the historic historical precedent of Mother's Day to the point where it's Parents Day and so therefore if two men have adopted a child, then we should celebrate those two men in the same manner that we celebrate a mother a mother on that day. Absolutely.
I mean if he identifies as a woman, why shouldn't he be a mother? That is the train of thought that the liberal plantation not is going to have. I'm not looking at my crystal ball. I'm looking at the news. I'm looking back in history where we looked on. I think it was Sports Illustrated and we saw that a man was the female of the year. I mean these things are happening already and so you know, it blows me away that people are actually making the false accusation not only against the GOP but I'm making a false accusation about Christian Theocracy.
There has never been a greater friend to women and to womanhood than the Bible the God of the Bible and I'll take it a step further men who believe in the Bible. That's it. That's it. You want a difference. There is a difference. There's a difference. There is a difference. The Bible causes a man to make a woman his wife. Okay.
The Bible causes a man to respect his wife, his children, and all those kinds of things. So the idea that people are saying do you want to drive? Do you want to work?
Do you want to have fun with your friends? Where is the evidence that any of this any attacks on any of these freedoms is coming from the Bible or the GOP. This is just the nonsense that is taking place in and nonsense propaganda that's being pushed today while they overlook actual real threats to the freedoms of women. We're going to overlook the fact that female athletes have to compete against boys, right? Like Riley Gaines had to do so.
Absolutely. She had to compete and swim against a man. A man that was six foot four who undressed in the locker room in front of women and that was acceptable. That was okay. We remember in North Carolina when we had the bathroom bill in North Carolina, HB two where men were fighting to gain access to women's restrooms and that was a major debacle in North Carolina even to the point that I believe the NBA said that they didn't want to bring the all-star game.
That's why they kept him hear me and hear me clear. I don't think that a man should be allowed to use the restroom in the same restroom as women just because he wakes up in the morning swinging but believes that he is a woman. It's wrong.
It's asinine. It's insane and the people that should be speaking up the most trying to fight against this should be men. Amen. Men first and foremost should protect the sanctity, the sanctity of womanhood. Men should do that. Men should stand and defend the integrity of women in these situations but often times, the men are more so quiet and silent. I think that some of these guys, you know, are afraid to be assertive and aggressive because of feminists. Feminists have neutered and robbed men of their voice in this country. So, if a man is too aggressive and assertive, if he speaks up too much, he's labeled as having toxic masculinity.
I agree. If he is passive, if he's soft and weak and he never speaks up and he only speaks at a whisper, right? He's a neutered man and he's beta. And so, men are confused. Do I be that aggressive guy full of testosterone or am I the weak, flimsy guy who wears a lace and doesn't speak up?

Well, I can tell you the reality is for me, I'm looking at this and I'm thinking that this woman is encouraging women to vote for a party that doesn't even know what a woman is. This is true. How are you gonna make a better party and a better platform for women when you won't even acknowledge or accept the reality of what a woman is? Now, you know, I realized that what she's saying is really about reinforcing stereotypes because the Republican Party is supposed to be the party of family values and, you know, family values are typically based on the Bible and there are things that the Bible says that people have twisted and turned and to make it seem as if the Bible is against women. But the reality of studies and various facts show that conservative women are actually happier than liberal women. I was reading a study in the New York Post that even AI finds that when they're scanning pictures of women that conservative women are more attractive and are happier even in their photos. Okay.
So hold on. So conservative women are more happier in their photos, i.e. conservative women are free to smile. Free to smile. They're free to smile. They're free to probably dress up more. Yeah, absolutely.
Right. They're probably, they might be encouraged, you know, to be more physically active. Physically fit. To drive their car to the Pilates Center. To drive their vehicle to the gym. Hey. Amen.
To do all of these things that this lady Michelle says is gonna be taken away from women if you vote for President Donald J. Trump. That's really what they're saying. That's what they're saying. This is an attack on Trump more than anything.
I believe that it is. And it's just not true. You know, it's just not true.
To try to take whatever you think or feel about him and try to stretch it and make this a moratorium on women and their safety and their freedom is just an absolute complete joke. I mean, think about it. What woman wants to walk around angry looking like AOC? Wow. That is not. No.
Don't do it. That is not the template for how to be a happy woman. Another study found that liberal women, only 15% of liberal women in a study rated themselves, rated themselves as completely satisfied with their lives as compared to 31% of conservative women who were happy with their lives and were also happy with their mental well-being. Now, there are those who will say, well, you all are happier because you don't know how to be sad. You don't know how to go for the gusto.
You don't know how to go for all this stuff in life. And the reality is that is just completely not true. We're happy because we are living our lives according to the Bible. We're living according to God's plan for womanhood. We're not buying into the idea that anything a man can do, we can do better.
We think that we can be best as women and we have men who respect us as women and those women who are single are living out their God-given destinies and potential as single women. And there's no better plan than to live your life as God intended it. How are you going to be a happier woman and you're voting for a party that advocates for you cutting off the most beautiful parts of your body from your hair to your chest area and to everything else? I don't want that.
That's not going to make me happy. A perfectly pair of healthy breasts. The Democrats want you to have the freedom and the liberty to just remove those. And I think that is really medical malpractice. You know, number one, that a political party will push that. Number two, that a doctor would agree to do so. Right? That is medical malpractice and it's asinine.

I'm calling from Dayton, Ohio, and I'm totally agreeing with all you guys. I mean, the both of you guys. I'm glad you're a husband and wife and I've been married 38 years. I cherish my wife. I love my wife. I take care of my wife.
I do anything for my wife and she's a beautiful woman and she's a grandmother and she cherishes her grandkids and she wants to be a woman and she works at Target. And Target is a hard place to work at and she's getting ready to retire because of all the knucklehead stuff that goes on there. The pride stuff and all that stuff taking place in June, I'm sure. And she can't even wear a Christian t-shirt, but they can wear their pride t-shirts.
Are you serious? She can't wear a Christian t-shirt. She can't wear a Jesus saves t-shirt, but they can definitely wear a pride t-shirt pride month or whatever they want to do. Yeah, but she can't do any of that stuff, you know, I mean, and then she fights this every day and my wife is a trooper.
I mean, she fights that non-Christian, you know, get out of my way attitude that these people have. You know, red and blue. Okay, we're talking you're talking red and blue, red, red. They want to take you the red. He wants to give you your freedom to take your freedom away.
That's right. Simple as that. We'll talk about the cars. The blue wants to make sure that everybody has a driver's license and it's a digital license and your freedom has gone away because you've got to have all your birth certificate. You got to have this, you got to have that, you got to have this.
I mean, you got to go on and on to get your driver's license. Let's talk about what was the other thing you were talking about. Losing the bank account, driving, dressing, however you want. Yeah, the bank account.
Okay, let's talk about that. They want to have digital money. The blue wants to have digital money.
That's good. You're not going to have your own bank account, people. You're not going to have freedom of having cash to go to a garage sale and pay for something that you don't want to. They want to make sure that you're paying taxes on every little dime you're paying on.
Every little thing. They want to control every little aspect of your life. If there's a digital money, they're going to say, wait a minute, you're buying too much corn and you shouldn't have that much corn in your body. Or you're drinking too much milk. You can't have milk.
Or you're having too much this. That's why they want the digital money. That's why they want to control your lives. They want to, and you want freedom of what kind of dress you want to buy? Oh, let's go to the digital money. I mean, come on.
I mean, think about it. We're going to go digital money and then we can't even buy, wait a minute, you didn't buy the pride, you know, the pride dress. Well, that's why, because you spent your money on the Christian dress. Oh, you already bought too many of those.
You can't have, you got to buy a pride dress because we want equal pay across the thing, right? When is American Christians going to wake up and understand that you're not voting for a pastor, you're voting for a person who is trying to do good. Billy Graham's son just told the pastor, told Donald Trump, hey, let's stop cussing. You don't need the emphasis on cussing, don't you think?

We've been discussing this topic of this individual by the name of Michelle who believes that young women at the end of the day, if they vote for President Trump or for a Republican, that they won't be allowed to drive, dress however they want, work, go to school, have fun with friends, have their own bank account, make your own decisions. Theocracies take all of that away.
The GOP wants a Christian theocracy. You know what, Crystal? Crystal, one of the things we've overlooked thus far with this is at the end of the day, you are a Christian.
I sure am. And you don't look like you're not dressed well. And you drive a nice vehicle. Matter of fact, you drove here. I did.
You got here not too long ago. And you drove up in style. You went to work this morning and all of the above. You drive regularly. All of that.
You look nice. We do have a joint bank account because that makes sense because we are working together. I don't have my separate bank account and I say this is my money. You don't have a separate bank account. You say that's your money and I can't touch your money. You can't touch my money.
What is that? That's for dating. You know, but Christians don't act that way when they're married. We want to have one bank account where one flesh, where one unit, right? So therefore we have the same bank account and everything that I have, you have access to. And I, you know, I'm proud, you know, I'm proud to bring my paycheck home and you do it all the time, all the time with pride.
It comes, it drops right into the bank. That's why there's not a blue clown on earth that can convince me that you need to walk away from the Bible. That's right.
Listen, I am just fine over here. Yes. And you know, there are women who, women of every stripe. Listen, the married women, the single women, the educated, those who are working outside of their home, those who are working inside of the home. That's the beauty of the scripture, that you have that freedom, you have that choice, you know, to be who God has called you to be.
God has put gifts and talents into us. The Proverbs 31 woman was the same way. Who's read Proverbs 31 and could come to the conclusion that the Bible wants to limit the freedoms of women.
Yes. Who has read that and could be able to say that the Bible doesn't want women to have businesses, doesn't want women to have money, doesn't want women to be able to have freedom and to do things that they would like to do that are correct. Now, what the Bible doesn't give a woman the freedom to do is it doesn't give the woman the freedom to play God and to decide who lives and who dies and praise God for that. And that's something that the Democrat Party does quite well. And, you know, they like to talk about this black maternal health crisis thing. They like to convince black women to abort their baby to kill their seed.
Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, wanted to exterminate the Negro population, and she said that she would use the charismatic preacher to help her in doing so. The number is 866-34-TRUTH. 866-34-TRUTH.

Thank you so much for calling in. What's your take on all of this stuff, Chip? Well, I haven't read the particular article you're talking about on this lady Michelle or whatever, but I do know that leftist women tend to have less kids than conservative women because, well, they're killing them, and they're waiting until later in life when their pregnancies are more high risk. But they compensate for that by stealing our kids.
Wow. In the public school systems, about 8% of kids that are raised to be conservative Christians walk away from the church by the time they graduate high school because they're taught that they're descendants of do to you by way of the few, and their lives have no purpose. That's true. And they're just products of random chance rather than God's creative design made in the image of God. And unfortunately, a lot of these kids are believing that because they're spending, you know, 30 plus hours a week being indoctrinated into that and getting an hour a week tops the church, and mom and dad aren't doing a great job of undoing the rhetoric that's been pushed on them during the week.
I think conservative women and men need to do a better job of maybe homeschooling or getting their kids into private schools homeschooling is cheap, and you can work it around your work schedules, both people afterwards. Yes, yes. You know that that's a great point chip that you bring that you bring up. I'm not I'm known nationally as the book banning pastor I go to the public school systems around the country I speak at school board meetings I address issues you're germane to critical race theory gender theory and queer theory. And you're so right there's a lot of God awful things that are being pushed upon our children I believe in a three pronged system. You have the Christian home, you have the Christian church and you have the Christian school.
Now, you can sit upon a stool with three legs, but you can't sit upon a stool with two legs. And when you remove one of those things would be at the Christian home the Christian church or the Christian school, the child is now being raised with an imbalance. Okay, there's an imbalance there but much of what is going on as relates to what this woman, Michelle is saying, these are fear tactics, these are scare tactics. These are things that are supposed to resonate with rebellious women at the end of the day, you know, really what Michelle is saying is you know you're not going to be able to just simply do what you want if you vote for a republican and you know you want to do what you want you want to be able to abort your baby you want to be able to mutilate your body or your child's body, all this crazy stuff you know it's she's giving way to a spirit of rebellion and that is something that has to be addressed. I think behind this message that she's making is a plea, also to push dis unity. It's amazing that today the two callers that called in, you and another gentleman Mike to me and called in saying that this is not true.
You know, and so it's not true we know that it's not true I know that's not true Christmas is not true. But this is the line that they're trying to peddle to women across our country. It's, it's really sad, our, our women and men just need to stand up more be willing to speak out for some reason, the church has been silent over the last century and the left has taken over in the power back. Yes, yes they have and the church has become silent because we bought into this notion that the Bible isn't political, and the church is not essential I recently wrote a book, entitled hoodwinked 10 lives Americans believe in the truth that will set you free.

There are people who want us to believe that Christians cannot engage in politics and that the Bible is not political Listen, when you consider Elijah the king, a have a king and told him that there will be no do nor reign until I say so you're not supposed you're not supposed to say that to a king, but Elijah did it with the authority of God, and he walked out with his head on his shoulders and three and a half years later, there was no do nor reign until God said so. And so, that's it. Oops.
Sorry, Paul spent years, appealing to Rome for his right as a Roman citizen, rather than letting the Jews do what they wanted to. That's right. That's right so true, we chip we thank you live in a constitutional republic that's based on the Judeo Christian Apple, and virtually all of our monuments have Christian stuff on them and the 10 commandments are in the Supreme Court and the very first thing our first Supreme Court did under john j was take four hours of prayer and communion before they heard the first case.
