Your chosen Truth Network Podcast is starting in just a few seconds. Enjoy it, share it, but most of all, thank you for listening and for choosing the Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.
This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you why. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. It's a hot summer, freedom all, well, if I could talk.
It's a hot summer free for all Friday. What do you think, Nick? It certainly is, and we have an interesting idea for you today. I'm excited to hear your view, and I'm hoping you'll call in. I'm really hoping you'll call in on this one, because I love the Bible.
I bet you do too. And so, what would the verse that you would love to hear set to beautiful music? Like, what would that verse be? If you had any verse like, man, you could pick. I guess it's something from the 23rd Psalm, the 119th Psalm, the 16th Psalm, or maybe it's, you know, it's John 3.16. What is it that you would just, man, I would love for this Bible verse, that verse, to be set to music.
Which one would that be? We would love to hear that today on Truth Talk Live. The number to call in on this hot summer free for all Friday is a tongue twister. 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH is a number to call in, and there's a method to our madness, because I have with me Beverly Moser, and she is with Epic Love Story, and it's their website.
It's EpicLoveStory.org, and I'm sure you're gonna see that, man, this is gonna be something you're gonna want to know about. Like, they are in the midst of putting the entire Bible, not one verse. I don't know how many verses are in the Bible. I know there are 66 books, but anyway, they're gonna put the entire, like, whole enchilada to music. And during the breaks today, as we bump back in, you'll be able to hear some of that music that they've put together. One is from Exodus, and one is from Habakkuk chapter 3.
How fun is that? So you're gonna get to hear that. But, like, really, if you were, like, think about it, what verse would you just, like, man, I've always wondered, there's songs about this, and there are songs about that. Why isn't there a song for this verse?
866-348-7884. So, Beverly, EpicLoveStory.org. So if you could give our listeners sort of the elevator pitch on what is EpicLoveStory.org about, putting the whole Bible to music.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity. So I like to start with our vision, because that's really what drives us. So our vision is that we envision a world in which all the people are transformed by the power of Scripture. Now, that's a big vision, right?
And that's what big visions are supposed to do, are supposed to do that. But all of us, or I should say a lot of us, you have stories of how the Bible transformed a life, or transformed a family, or transformed a community. This is the power of Scripture. And we want that to be available to both believers, non-believers, seekers, because we believe the Bible has that kind of power. So what's our mission?
How are we going to do that? So the way we're going to do that is we're setting the Bible to song, utilizing contributors worldwide that will bring hope and healing to the nations. So that is what we're about.
So it's a global project. It's really a movement, is really what it is. Yeah, it's quite a vision. And, you know, it's so cool, because you know the Word is alive and breathing, you know. And then the idea of music touches hearts, you know. I do a devotion at a nursing home in Mocksville every Thursday morning. And, you know, when you play the music, you know, that person may not have remembered their name for two years, but play Amazing Grace and watch them sing.
Right, because it's still in their heart. And music touches the heart, so as people get a chance to hear these Scripture verses to music, I mean, what an opportunity that is for them to, you know, really, I guess, you know, the idea of literally eating the scroll, right? To get it inside of you, like, you know, almost similar to Bible memorization, because music does the same kind of thing to you. And, you know, it's interesting. I took on a project a couple years ago. I took on the project of memorizing the 119th Psalm.
Oh, wow. And I have a really long drive to the studio every day, there and back. And so it gave me the opportunity to literally recite the whole thing, you know. But often I would sing it, because if I would sing it, you know, to whatever tune that I would come up with in my brain, you know, it was just fun, and it would kind of, you know, invigorate me as to, you know, what that meant. Because it's one thing to memorize, but it's nowhere near as trying to think through every verse as you're saying it, right?
Exactly, exactly. And that's exactly, we're well aware of the power of music. So really, Robbie, we're wedding three very influential resources on the planet right now, the Bible, music and social media, we are putting those together. And that's how we're going to get this out. People ask me sometimes, well, how are you going to get this out? Well, we're going to put it on platforms where people are listening.
That's how we're going to get it out. And the music is going to be quality. So that our music producer, one of his commitments is that these be professional grade songs.
And he's committed to that. But they also have to be memorable. And so when you're writing songs that are memorable, they're not just words, they're actually written in a way to be memorized, you know, like, let it go, how easy it is to remember, let it go from Disney's song. That's why little kids can sing it.
Older people can sing it, because it's written in a certain way. And so he's, his commitment is that these scriptures were so we're going to be giving people the lyrics, but then the music is going to be written in such a way so that it's actually memorable. So it gets in you and it comes up and out.
And it's easy to hold on to. And I think you're going to experience that during the break, you're going to hear back in chapter three, you know, he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, that's going to be fun, you can hardly wait to hear that. And give you that idea. Like, wouldn't it be fun to have that in your mind? You know, like somewhere over the rainbow, right? You know, way up high. Yeah, exactly. That's exactly how it is. There's a place.
You can still think about all that stuff years ago, if it's set to music in your heart. So how about you listening now? I'm shocked that nobody has called in yet that you've got that favorite Bible verse. Let's just talk about your favorite Bible verse. Right? I would love to hear what you think. That's what this show is about.
It's live radio, 866-348-7884, 866-34-TRUTH. If you're digitally gifted, and you can do that with the letters. You know, it's impressive. I can't do it. But if 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share, again, it may not be your favorite Bible verse, but it's always one that just spoke to your heart.
You know, I can think of several from the Song of Solomon. I would love to hear somebody put to music. Again, if you want to find out more about this project, it's epiclovestory.org or epiclovestory.org.
Either one. You can see how you can donate to the project or submit songs, all sorts of stuff right there at epiclovestory.org. We're going to be back with a whole lot more, but one thing we need is you. 866-348-7884.
Call us. And there are no grapes on the vine, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food. Though there are no sheep in the pen, and no cattle in the stalls, then I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in God my Savior. The sovereign Lord is my strength. The Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. The sovereign Lord is my strength. He enables me to tread on the heights. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. That is Back Kick 3, 17 through 19. If you're not familiar, it's absolutely spectacular, like, whoa, one of those things that is worth memorizing, you know, even before you think of the music.
But with that, it makes it so much easier. You're listening to what that is, is Epic Love Story. And if you go to their YouTube channel, you'll see it there too, or you can just go to epiclovestory.org, and that is just one sampling of the project that they're working on to put the entire, like, man, every verse in the Bible like that, can you imagine, with all sorts of musicians from around the world. And again, we've got Beverly Moser with us, but we need you, because we're thinking, like, man, what is the Bible verse? I'm shocked, actually, that nobody's called in yet. What is the Bible verse that you would love, like, that means so much to you, maybe you've got a story behind what that Bible verse did for you at a certain season in your life.
We would love to hear it. 866-348-7884, you know us, we'd love to make much of what God has done, and so if he's done something with you in a Bible verse, ah, this is your day to call Truth Talk Live on Free for All Friday. 866-348-7884, we have Barry Beverly Moser with us, and Beverly, God put this on your heart, like, 15 years ago? Yeah, so as I say it, the seeds germinated then. So I'm very curious, like, you didn't have a background in music, or music production, or anything like that, and you're a nutritionist at this point in your life? Well, I had finished that era of my life.
I was probably, you know, my kids were young adults, or late teens at that time, yeah. And so, how did it happen? How did you get the vision? I mean, it's quite a vision.
Yes, it is. Well, you know how God prepares you when you're little, and you don't even know it until you look back. So when I was little, I enjoyed scripture memory, when I was little, like, you know, five years old. And then teenagers, I was involved in a Bible drill type thing, memorized scriptures. Oh, I love that. Then I got off to college and got involved with Crusade and Navigators, and there was scripture memory, it was just all part of that.
So we did that. And then as I left all that and went on into my adult life and my career, I would just write verses down, and I'd write them on index cards, and I would date them if there was a verse I wanted to memorize. And what I noticed, and this was, again, I was probably middle-aged, somewhere in there, mid-40s, early, late 40s. I would look back on those verses where the date was, and it was like that verse had never, I had never memorized it before. It was like it was gone, but I could remember verses that my kids had learned set to music. I could remember verses I learned when I was a teenager in college. And so I tell this story because it's very picturesque. So I was frustrated, and I put my arms, you know, folded my arms in front of me, and leaned back on my kitchen counter, and I kind of looked up at the ceiling, and I said, God, bemoaning, God, why has nobody set the Bible to music?
It's so much easier to memorize that way. And then there was this quick pause, and it was like over my right shoulder, Robbie, there was a voice, you know, a voice. The Lord spoke.
It wasn't an audible voice. The Lord spoke and said, you do it. So that put me in my place. I stopped bemoaning. And then a few weeks later, I went to a concert that was done in our church, and there was a musician there from Nashville.
And he is, his worship music was so like, oh, it made me feel like I wanted more. So I met up with him afterwards and told him what I had in mind to do. And he said, you want to do that too?
I feel like God set me to set Scripture in memory too. So those were the germination seeds. That fizzled out, you know, we exchanged emails and numbers, and then it never went anywhere. And then eight years later, he called me back and said, hey, you know that project? You still interested? I said, yes, I am.
And so that began a new season. So it was the same guy? No. Yeah, the same guy called me back. It's the guy that I met eight years before. And who is he? His name is Kurt Coble. And he's still involved? In a different way. He's not involved.
He's still writing Scripture songs himself, but he's not on our team currently right now. So he can still, you know, obviously work on that. Yeah, absolutely. And very cool.
So but anyway, God put him in your life in that season to keep the dream alive. Yeah, absolutely. And it's been a great journey with lots of people. The number of people that have contributed to this project already is huge.
It's huge. And that tells us to like, this heart, this beats to the heartbeat of people. You know, people, when they hear about it, they're excited about it. They want to be a part of it. They want to write, they want to volunteer. We have a large number of people that are volunteering to keep it going.
It's wonderful. Right, because his word does not come back void. And you know, I hope a lot of you listening, you know, there's that Bible verse that you've memorized.
And like, man, if you if you had something like we just heard from Habakkuk, you know, how wonderful would that be to, you know, again? Well, I just told you a while ago, I memorized 119 Psalms. Well, unless I do it, like, you know, every two or three months and just go through it, and then hone in on it again, I lose it. I mean, honestly, it's not, you know, interestingly, other things, like the 16th Psalm, which I dearly love, for some reason, that one sticks like, and the 23rd Psalm sticks and certain ones stick. Although I don't know that I, you know, I don't love the 119 Psalm more than I love the others, but it doesn't it doesn't stick.
Right. Well, one of the things we found is that music will stick, as you said earlier, in ways that we don't plan on. Like, you know, all of us have had the experience, you're driving down the road, and you find yourself listening to a song, you're in your house, you're at work, and you're like, Where did I hear that song? And you heard it in the grocery store two weeks ago, you know, but still, because that's what music does. And so and music that's memorable, particularly memorable is written a certain way.
So I wanted to share here. So our music producer, what we're going to do is we're going to take the scriptures, and we're going to set them to music in ways that are memorable, that they're not just linear, because that is not memorable. Whereas let it if you think of Disney's, let it go, let it go, let it go. And it repeats, and it's written, and it's written. And that's why little two year olds can remember and four year olds can remember it. So but what we're about is that, well, hang on, hang on with that thought, because we happen to have a music major, like, and some people refer to him as St. Nick, but I just like him as Nick. Okay. So, Nick, obviously, you've you've spent, like your whole life studying music theory.
And so from your perspective, yes. What makes a song like that, that, you know, like, I think there are a lot of there are a lot of components that make music memorable like that it can be from how a melody is it can be how in lyrics how the words can rhyme the repetition as well. And so but I'm after the break, I would like to tell you a little bit more and probably my verse that I would like to be that would be in the song as well. Oh, well, we need that because unfortunately, like I am shocked that nobody's called in with their favorite verse 866-348-7884 86634 Truth. We need your verse.
Call us. We'll be right back. All the earth is mine. And you shall be to me. A kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the people of Israel. Exodus 19 4-6. There you go. It is the epic love story.org.
That's this is their music. That one is Exodus 19 4-6 apparently. And so, you know, we were talking about what is the Bible verse you always wanted to hear set to music.
I just think it's absolutely a fascinating study. And as they are doing this, this epic love story, people are doing this, helping us all memorize the scripture, helping it get us into our heart, get it into our heart, however that works. We got Lee is in Nashville. So, Lee, you're on Truth Talk Live. Good afternoon, Lee.
Good afternoon. Yeah, I was thinking about as I was listening, the verse that came to mind for me was Psalm 27 4. This is one thing I had asked of the Lord that will I that will I speak after that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life to gaze upon the beauty of the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
And I heard this. I mean, I've heard this first many times, but it hit me really hard in college when I was doing a ministry. And I really felt like, okay, I was have to do all this stuff to serve God. And the way this first hit me is that, like, the thing that I'm aiming for, and that I should ask of the Lord is just to be with him and to like gaze upon his face and abide with the Lord. You know, David wrote this song like the verses around it are talking about having these evildoers and adversaries. And there's a lot of things he could have been praying for in this moment. Like, save me. And, you know, he's saying the main thing I asked for here is just to be with God and to be the gaze on his beauty. And that really struck me.
And it's been really meaningful in the years since then. It's like remind myself like that is. Well, you just reminded me, Lee. I'm just like, oh, my goodness, what an amazing verse. You know, I'm going to be honest, I'd never really focused in on that one.
And now, like, man, that may be one of my favorites. That ought to be a song. You know, that's it, really, isn't it?
Yeah. I work in children's ministry, and I've been trying to teach our kids the books of the Bible. And so we've been teaching them these songs. But I was laughing when I was listening to you guys earlier, because the Old Testament, I learned a song as a kid, I'm 29. And when I was a little kid, I learned a song. And I know all the books of the Old Testament. In the New Testament, I don't think I learned a song in children's choir.
And so I don't know where they are, like even trying to teach our kids now. It's amazing the things that stick in our minds when we have a song and like, planning BBS, I'm coming up with these Bible verses. I'm singing the little song that I learned as like a six-year-old. That's amazing.
Absolutely. Oh, and I do too. And I love, like, man, I'm going to highlight this in my Bible right this very second. I'm like, this is such an awesome verse. And I'm so grateful for that.
And I, you know, that's kind of where I try to get to every morning myself, like when I'm praying, like that's exactly, but I never realized there was a verse that kind of helped me get there. So what do you think of Beverly as you hear our friend Leah Nashville? Oh, well, I think it's great. And I'm looking forward to the day when that song, that has obviously probably been set to music because a lot of people have set the songs to music. Although I haven't looked it up to see. David did at one point.
Yeah, yes. But I look forward to when Epic Love Story will set that song to music because one of the things we're doing, Robbie and listeners is we did some research. This is fascinating. Our music producer did this research. We were getting ready to do another song and he wanted to have a Latin sound.
This ties into what Leah brought up in Nashville. He wanted to have a Latin sound. And so he went and listened to the top 100 Latin songs that Latin listeners are listening to ages 16 to 64 over the past five years. And what he found was if he took if he turned off the lyrics, so he didn't hear the voices, the music sounded like contemporary, what we call contemporary music. And contemporary music is like the umbrella. But underneath that, there are like 10 different genres of music.
And those are I'll read some of those to you in a minute. Those are like pop, rock, hip hop, dance, Latin soundtrack, rhythm and blues, country, soul blues and reggae. So then he said, well, let me go listen to the Asian market because maybe I make an Asian song. It found the same listen to the top 100 songs in the Asian market.
Same thing, turn off the lyrics so he can't hear the voices. It's contemporary music. He did the same thing with the UK with world music and with us in the US markets. So what we found was this was pivotal for us. Because what we found was, even though we're different culturally, we are listening to the same sounds.
This makes me cry every time I talk about it. So what we're going to do, we're going to take the Bible, which we know is tested, it's been around for thousands of years, it's helped change lives and change communities, but people aren't engaging with it like they used to. We're going to take those words of Scripture that have that power that what Leah just talked about there, we are going to put it in these sounds that the people of the world are listening to. And we're going to put it on the platforms where they're listening.
And we're going to do it in seven years. Assuming the music, the money comes in, the money is the big deal. Because why go to the expense of creating great songs like you just heard with the Exodus song? And it is expensive to do. It's expensive to create great songs that listen to.
Why go to the expense of that if nobody's going to engage with it? And so we're going to do this. And so hang tight.
That song will be coming in this kind of music that the people of the world are listening to. Darrell Bock That is so awesome. Yes, thank you, Leah. You are a blessing.
And you added a verse to me that I'm never going to forget. So thank you for that very much. God bless you. Have a great weekend. Dr. Leah Wright Thank you.
You too. Darrell Bock All right. Bye-bye. We got Debbie is in Hickory, North Carolina. So Debbie, you're on Truth Talk Live.
What you got for us? Debbie Wade Jeremiah 10, 23, and 24. You want to hear it?
Darrell Bock Definitely. Debbie Wade I know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own. It is not for man to direct his steps.
Correct me, Lord, but only with justice, not in your anger, lest you introduce me to nothing. And I have memorized that without music. But I just, it primes my prayers so many mornings, that I think if I had music to it, it would just feel more like a sacred place, you know, or to sing in the line while you're waiting for your groceries to be checked out. Darrell Bock So how did that verse end up landing in your heart? Debbie Wade It's one of those that leapt off the page when I was reading through Jeremiah. And it became almost a life verse. I just thought, it's, that's one of those places where it feels like the Bible's reading you instead of you reading the Bible. Jeremiah's honest prayer is saying, you know, I know that I can't direct my steps. And I know that I need correction, but I need your mercy. And it was just planted. Darrell Bock What a wonderful, I'm writing this down right this second, Debbie.
The Bible is reading you rather than you reading the Bible. I've never, have you, did you get that from somebody? Or is that a Debbie original? Debbie Wade That's a Debbie original. Darrell Bock Have you ever heard that?
This is outstanding. What a statement. Because it definitely is, isn't it?
Debbie Wade Yeah. Yeah, it does. Then my first read through the Bible, I was a new Christian, 12 years old. And I finally got to Romans 7, where Paul was talking about the good that I want to do, I don't do, and the, you know, the evil thing I don't want to do, I find myself doing. And that was the first time it occurred to me. This is reading me.
I'm not reading it. Darrell Bock Well, I gotta tell you, that is just one outstanding quote. Is it all right if I quote you? Debbie Wade Absolutely.
Darrell Bock I have a Debbie original that, man, is worth repeating, because that couldn't be more true. That often, you know, God puts me someplace that it was exactly what I needed for that moment. And it just, like you said, leapt off the page.
But then it stuck somewhere, and it's like, it just becomes more and more and more. So from my standpoint, there's a verse in the Song of Solomon that he talks about that he's hiding behind the lattice. And, you know, he's trying to get a look at his beloved, right?
And that particular verse has always told me that God is, Jesus is stalking me. Because I used to, there was this girl when I was in middle school, or we called junior high back in the day, that, man, I was just infatuated with. I found out where she lived. I used to hang out over there just so I could get a glimpse of her as she just popped outside for a minute.
I wasn't gonna do anything weird. I just wanted to see her because I was that much in love. And I'm like, wow, Jesus is like that with me.
He just wants to get a look at me. And so the Bible was reading me that time as I think about that verse. Debbie, oh, what a blessing. Thank you so much for calling in today.
You too, have a great weekend. I'm hoping to hear your verse, right? Debbie did, Lee did, 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. We got Sabrina is in Georgia. We're gonna be right back.
You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food. Though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, then I will rejoice in the Lord. I will be joyful in God my Savior. The sovereign Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer. The sovereign Lord is my strength.
He enables me to tread on the heights. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Darrell Bock Epic love story.org. That's that music.
It's epiclovestory.org. And again, what the idea is, is they need to raise some money. Like, believe it or not, $7,500 will produce a song like that. They have the talent. They have the people. They just need the funds. And so if you want to be involved in that, certainly what they also need probably more than that is prayer.
Like, and you can figure out how you can partner with them also there at epiclovestory.org. But today's topic here on Truth Talk Live is, like, what would your Bible verse be that you would like to have set to music? And we have Sabrina in Georgia. Sabrina, you're on Truth Talk Live.
Welcome. Sabrina Jones Hi. My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29-11, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Darrell Bock Yeah, and that's one of the, man, like, how many times have I turned to that one? When did that verse sort of choose you?
How did that work? Sabrina Jones Well, it just, I just heard it in church in a sermon one day, and it just stuck with me. I think it gives you great encouragement. And my husband actually quotes that a lot to a lot of people. We even, we have it posted on our mirror in our bathroom. Darrell Bock Really? Sabrina Jones Yeah. Darrell Bock Isn't that awesome, right, that Scripture gives you an opportunity to share in, you know, the hope that's within you, right?
I mean, you know that Scripture, and your husband has a chance to do that. I mean, that is so amazing. I'm so happy. I'm so glad that you called in, and I, too, would like to hear that song. And so I'm sure— Sabrina Jones Yeah, that was it.
We'll do it. Darrell Bock All right, we got two votes for Jeremiah. So thank you, Sabrina.
I appreciate you. Where in Georgia are you? Sabrina Jones In McDonough. Darrell Bock All right.
I think you're the first person to ever call me from, did you say McDonough? Sabrina Jones McDonough, Georgia. We actually live in Lancaster, South Carolina. We're just down here visiting family. Darrell Bock Well, good for you. Well, God bless you. Obviously, you've still got our station down there, so we're grateful. So you have a great weekend, okay? Sabrina Jones Yes, you also.
Darrell Bock God bless. So I, go ahead, go ahead. Dr. Cheryl Kane One of the things I want to say in response to that, thank you, Sabrina, is that we feel like—and this is exciting to me—we feel like that we are creating a revolution, or not a revolution, but a shift as dramatic to the access and distribution of the Scriptures to today's citizens as the Gutenberg printing press was. And so to hear Sabrina talk about that passage, the idea is we are going to up the access of the Scriptures so that people can get to verses like that, or Lea's or Debbie's.
And so this is a platform to do that. So she heard it in church. But today, people are getting a lot of their information through technology, and they're seeking because the things are in trouble. So we've also discovered that when there's trouble, people seek God, they seek the Bible, and they do largely through technology. And so that verse, that's a favorite of Sabrina's, will be getting out to many more people.
We are like the modern day Gutenberg printing press. Right, which in its own way, I know a big part of what you're doing has to do with the gospel, right? And as some people have that opportunity to share the hope, I mean, obviously, that leads to being able to share the actual good news that, hey, I know who wrote this thing. It does.
It does. And that's our first phase of 66, will be the epic love story of God from Genesis to Revelation. It'll be God's pursuit and wooing and loving and giving of himself so that people can be part of that family at the end. That's the Genesis to Revelation story. And that verse 66 will be that. And it will tell that story, and it'll do it in music.
Darrell Bock Right. So, again, what the idea here is that, first of all, you guys call us with your verse. Like, I want to know. I want to know how that hits you, all that stuff. I would love to hear it. I know that it always God's to hear all those stories, and that's the kind of thing all our listeners would love to hear from you. 866-348-7884. We've just got a few minutes left, and we'd love to hear yours.
866-348-7884. You know, this idea, again, of putting the entire Bible to music, but it starts out, the original part of the project is to get 66 songs, one for each particular Bible. And with these 66 being key verses that, again, point to the whole, you know, when you heard that in Exodus, that song in Exodus talked about, you know, that we're all going to be a kingdom of priests, right? And that's pretty amazing when you think about what's going on there. And, of course, then the Habakkuk song, you get the idea of the feet of a deer because what's happening is, although everything has gone south on the guy, I mean, Habakkuk is woeing the fact that there's no figs, there's no nothing my harvest, and for them, you know, I'm not selling any cars or, you know, houses or, you know, or whatever, you know, whatever it is your occupation is, we're not getting it done right now, but even so, right, I'm going to praise the Lord, and he's going to make my feet like, you know, a deer. I mean, it's an amazing thing that Habakkuk does because if you read the entire book, you know, that's kind of like the plateau of the book, like, or whatever your climax, you know, is the poor guy is fixing to face the whole Babylonian exile and, you know, talk about some woes coming upon you, and then all of a sudden that hits him. So that's absolutely beautiful.
And so, you know, what did you want to make sure you got said today, Beverly, that you haven't had a chance to say? Well, I think that's just one of the ones you just, the way you talked about that is we believe the Scriptures have that kind of power to speak into everybody's situation, and I could tell you so many stories of how this project has already moved people, helped people, encouraged people when they were down and out, changed their pathway, and that is what we're excited about, and we want to invite all these listeners, we want to invite all Christians, or non-Christians, anybody who wants to come and be a part of it, to come and be a part, and on the website you can see there's three ways to partner, prayer, advocacy, and financial, and so we want to encourage people to do that right now. Go to the website right now and let us know how you can partner with us. It's a global project.
It takes all of us, and we're excited about it, and we're excited to have these global partners join us. Yeah, and I love what you said about the widow's mite, right, that, you know, so seven dollars, you know, a song costs seventy-five hundred, so essentially your seven dollars and fifty cents, you know, is a fraction of what's needed, but certainly if you find, you know, what, a hundred people to do that, then bingo, you're there, you've got a song done, and that song will encourage how many people, and da-da-da, so, you know, whatever, you know, the Lord puts on your heart, if it's seven dollars and fifty cents, it's seven dollars and fifty cents further into making this happen, and right, if, you know, everybody that loved the Bible put in seven dollars and fifty cents, we'd be there easy, right, to get it done, and to get your verse done, or, you know, all these different verses, all the different opportunities that we have, because, you know, the nice thing about the Truth Network, you know, is that is the idea of, you know, it's the Scriptures themselves, it's the whole truth, and it's, you know, completely sufficient for everything that we need, and I love the idea that you aren't stopping at sixty-six. No, we're not, no, we want, we want people, just like you pick up a, a printed Bible, or you pick it up on your phone, we want the whole Word to be set to music, not just certain passages or certain things, because the whole Bible points ultimately to Christ. Right, and the whole international idea of that is that, you know, there's somebody sitting there right now, and it is Pakistan, right, and they, and they have a passion for this verse over here, and as your producer was talking about, that whatever genre of music, there's some common language, right?
Yes. And it's not unlike, you know, English, if you, everything's come from an alphabet, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, well it's the same thing with music, Nick, so it's your turn, Nick, what's your favorite verse? Yeah, I was gonna say my favorite, my verse that I would like to hear in a song would probably be, uh, Philippians 4, 6 through 7, because those, to kind of sum it up, they talk about anxiety, and that's coming from someone that has dealt with anxiety for a majority of my life, and, you know, hearing that type of song, you know, in my mind, you know, while y'all were talking, I can already see in my head, you know, the, in my head how it would, how the song would go, the, you know, sounds, the structure, the chords, and, you know, I could see that song being made, for sure, because I can definitely speak to a lot of people. I know who needs to make it. Like, you know, you're connected, right? You know Beverly, I bet, you know, you might even get, you know, but there you are, you know, get your tube out, and that's right, go to our website, submit a song submission, Nick.
Okay, I would love to see it. No, you play, you played lots of instruments. You play the piano, you play, obviously, the keyboards, and, and then all those different brass instruments. My hat's off, man. All right, it's all there at EpicLoveStory.org, EpicLoveStory.org, and there you can find out how you can connect, and, oh man, let me just tell you, you blessed me so much today. All the verses I got to hear, and I remember the Bible is reading you. Another program powered by the Truth Network.
