This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing.

I'll tell you what, where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak, George. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Good day, Truth Talk Live. We are going uncensored today.

That's right, we are going freedom uncensored. That's going to be an event that's going to be this week, and it's got a slew of. Guests and speakers. We have one here today who's going to talk about it, and his name is Grant May. He's with the Standing for Freedom Center, and this event is also going to be at the Liberty University campus, and it's going to be a two-day event.

It's going to be kind of like a rallying cry to get people engaged, get them involved, not sit on the sidelines.

So to not steal Mr. May's thunder, Mr. May, tell us more about this event and who you are, also, sir. And also, welcome to Truth Talk Live. Hey there, Stu.

Thank you so much for having me on. Super excited for this event, this upcoming weekend. It's October 23rd, so Friday night and then all day Saturday. We're going to be at Liberty University. You know, Ronald Reagan said, "Freedom's never more than one generation away from extinction," and we're bringing some of the biggest names in the conservative movement together to rally to remember that this country is worth saving.

It's our inheritance, and so we have Erica Kirk, Nick Fritas, Ben. Johnson, Lee Allen Baker, Riley Gaines, Isabel Brown, and so many more coming to Liberty University this Friday and Saturday, and we're going to be rallying to come together and remember why this country is worth protecting, and then how to go about doing so. That is amazing. I don't know how, other than the grace of God, you have such an amazing cast of of of speakers. Riley Gaines is is one that sticks out to me.

She was a unknown name and then stood up for her beliefs and for women and became a household name.

So it shows through her that one person can make a difference. Then you have Dr. Ben Carson, one of the personal favorites of mine. He kind of helped me realize that you can't have, as Tony Dungy said, Coach Tony Dungy said, you can't have quiet strength. People who have anger, through the grace of God, through working with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, that anger can be can be used, can be channeled in a different in a different format.

So, just those guys right there, and also Erica Kirk, Hart. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Kirk family. Charlie Kirk is, I don't want to say a mentor of mine. He was somebody that I really looked up to, and he was very impactful.

So you guys again have a wonderful cast of people, and for those people right there, guys, it's worth signing up. It's going to be this Friday and Saturday, and. You're never really going to get such eclectic characters like this on a regular basis.

So it's going to be worth your your your time. It's going to be worth your your trip up there.

So, what are you guys going to talk about, Mr. May? What's going to be? Is there an overall theme, or is it going to be many different subjects? What's going to be like?

What you guys are going to be talking about? Talking about your talking points for for this event. Yes, sir.

Well, I love what you said there. History is changed when one individual decides to have courage and stand up and stand for truth boldly in the public square, and that's what so many of our speakers have done, and that's what we're hoping so many of our attendees will do.

So it's kind of a rallying call. It's a reminder. The theme this year is America is worth saving.

So many people tend to forget first principles. They look around, they see some of the chaos caused. By the modern day left, and you know we can look across the world to France right now, see some of the chaos that's happening, the destruction at the hands of these student-led riots, and it's easy easy to forget that this country is America, is the world. Last best hope for freedom.

So we want to come together, remember why America is great, articulate those principles, and then move forward. Of how are we going to save this country? And ultimately, the answer will come back to individuals having the faith. Standing firm in the public square and being voices for the voiceless, kind of like Riley Gaines has been.

So we cannot be more excited. We want people. There's still a couple spots left.

So if you if you are interested in coming, we we want to promote anyone going to our website, standingforfreedomscenter.com or standingforfreedom.com/slash/events/slash/freedomuncensored. And we want we want to have you out here. But the theme. This year is America's worth saving. We believe America is good.

We believe it was founded on eternal principles, and that's what our our speakers will be talking to this weekend. That is great.

Well, we have the right guy on the show today. That is for sure. You're giving us a whole lot of content, giving us a lot of reason, you know, pumping us up to attend this event. But we want your calls also. Call up with your questions, your comments, any kind of concerns, anything that's on your mind, anything you want to ask, Mr.

May. The number is eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. Again, call us up eight six six three four eight. Seven eight eight four.

So, Mister May, talking about our rallying cry. And by the way, this is Jamal. This not Stu. I'm not there yet. I appreciate that, brother.

This is this is Jamal, just your friendly neighborhood volunteer and activist.

So, with the theme kind of rallying America and inspiring people to to get involved, get engaged. And trying to save America, as you said, what would you say to somebody saying, "Well, America, the idea of what she was, it's outdated. It doesn't work anymore. It's not inclusive enough. America needs to change.

America needs to be updated. the The way of apple pie, baseball, and cowboys that's that's outdated. What would you say to somebody that says we need to evolve into something different than what we are right now? Yeah, well, I think we can look back to the the founders. I think we can point back to some of their eternally good and true principles that gave us the freest, most fair nation in in the world the world has ever known.

You look at all the ideas from radical activists who say, "Oh, we we want it this way. We want to change the country." Well, most of those ideas have been tried in other countries, and they've led to disastrous results. That have hurt people, that have ruined lives, that have ruined countries, and so we should reject them being implemented here. Look, there is lots around the country that you can point to that is an issue, and it is an issue. The problem is not that we've.

Strayed are. It's not that the founding ideals are wrong. It's that we've strayed from those founding ideals.

So ideas like you know equal justice before the law—that's something that's eternally good and true that made this country great—and it's it's been overrun by sort of this mob justice mentality, cancel culture mentality. You look at ideas like freedom of speech, like bringing your faith into the public square. These are ideas that that made. Made America great once. They've been eroded by the secularist rising, by globalism, by the mass importation of people that don't share our values and refuse to assimilate.

And so we we need to go back to those values that made America great. And I think that's what you'll see at this at this conference this weekend. You have a lot of voices in various spheres, whether that be Lee Allen Baker, you know, who who was. Very popular TV star. She was America's mom, Gen Z's mom in in Good Luck Charlie, and she she walked away from Hollywood because of some of the craziness that was happening out there, especially during COVID.

And it was a wake up call to a lot of people. We have to return to the first principles that made America great, and and that's what this conference is all about. That is that is so good, and me personally, I have had—I don't say just wrestled. I've gone to some of these squares to where these questions are asked, and. We as Americans, we as Christians, you know, right, right or left, we as Christians have to answer the call.

We have to be engaged. It's not racist. It's not xenophobic to say we reject some ideals. We want to hold on to what has been proven true. We want to hold on to what is productive and constructive, not just for certain individuals, but for everybody.

But hold that thought, guys. Calling. Eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. We're here with Grant May, and we are talking about a rally and cry for America. America needs saving.

That is going to be the number again: eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. Freedom Uncensored is the event happening at Liberty University. Give us a call. Truth Talk Live. We'll be right back.

Truth Talk. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are with Mr. Grant May.

He is with Freedom Uncensored, happening at Liberty University this weekend, Friday and Saturday. We still have a few spots open. It's an amazing event. Dozens of speakers and influential people at this event. Again, this is going to be freedom uncensored at Liberty University in Virginia.

People like Dr. Ben Carson, Erica Kirk, Rally Gaines, to name a few, and also Mr. Grant May is going to be there. I'm already impressed with him. You guys got to check out Mr.

Grant May as well. But before we continue, just want to mention our sponsors. They help keep this programming alive to bring great shows like this to the forefront.

Seven five nine zero three six three.

I also want to take a little time to give some of the guys a shout out here. I don't do it enough. That's going to be Mr. Saint Nick. Want to give him a shout out.

He's our producer. We got John that's coming on as well. Just want to give those guys a shout out. Those those are special guys, Mr. Carbone, Rebecca at the front desk, every any and everybody that works at Truth Network, and of course a good friend of mine, Stu Efferson.

So thank you guys. With that being said, going back to Mr. May, I just want to jump right back into it, sir.

So again, this is a theme. With freedom uncensored, about saving America. Just to jump right into it, can we still save America the way we would like for it to be saved? Yes, sir.

Well, thank you for that question, Jamal. At the end of the day, I I think we as Christians, if you're a Christ follower on this, listening to the show today, we have an obligation too. Not only are we called to seek the welfare of the city that the Lord has placed us in, God is very clear in Romans 13. Paul writes to the church and he says, "Look, God is the one who has established all political authorities. He says, 'Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there's no governing authority except that which God has established.'" And there's lots of people in the United States who don't understand who that governing authority properly understood is.

Many people assume it's just the president, or maybe it's Congress or the Supreme Court. But ultimately, all of those people answer to the Constitution, and the preamble to the Constitution deliberately states that we, the people of the United States, are the political authority here, and we then therefore have a God-given duty to steward that which He has given us. I think about Christians all over the world who have died at the hands of persecution from their government, and they they would be bewildered by the fact that we, as Christians, actually have the ability to make the laws that impact us.

So we have to steward that which has God, that which God has given us. You can look to the parable of the talents that Jesus tells, where he says three of three of the master's servants were entrusted with varying amounts of money, and two of those servants put it to good use. One was afraid of misusing that money, and so he buried it in a field. And when the master returned, he rewarded the two who had put the money to good use. He said, "Well done, good and faithful servants.

You have been faithful." Faithful and little; therefore, I will set you over much. But to the one who had buried it, he called him a wicked and slothful servant. And I think many in the church in America today have been wicked and slothful in the way that we have buried our political influence. You know, this was once a Christian nation. I don't think we can look around today and say it is.

It holds true to that Christian founding. And ultimately, that's on the church. And so we, as the church, need to step up. We need to reassert what. What makes America great?

It was this idea that that we we are citizens under the law. We make the laws, and at the end of the day, we we hold true to biblical authority. What God calls good and what God calls evil is what we need to ultimately step up and tell politicians. We need to assert that they are called to be stewards of God, they're servants of God to punish evil, and we know evil through reading the scripture.

So. So I think America is worth saving. We we have we have a nation, we have a home. It's an inheritance passed down to us through generations of blood, sweat, and tears from our ancestors, and we we have to fight for it. And so I I don't want to be the generation that squanders that which we've been given, and I want to be faithful to the master.

Amen to that. That's a Scripture that I've used many times as well. Your time, treasures, and talents—that's something that everybody has, because that's right. That's one of the excuses I used to use. I was like, "Well, I don't have a lot of money.

I don't have a lot of talent, but I do have time." And I mentioned before that I volunteer for many different groups and people, and through that volunteering, it's opened up so many doors. I've met so many people.

So. Everybody out here under the sound of our voices, you have one of those three things: time, treasures, and talents. And we have to be obedient to what we've been given. Everybody again has been given one of those three.

So, to follow up on your question, and we have a few minutes left, so you might have to squeeze it in when the music comes in. That's going to be a hard break. And also, just to give out the number again for folks to call in. Anything that's on your mind? Call in, comments, questions.

Eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. Again, eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four.

So to follow up with your question about stepping up and going to politicians and letting your voice be heard. For the person that is at home right now, who might not come to this event. What does standing up at home? What does standing up in our day-to-day lives? What does talking to politicians?

What does that look like on a kind of detailed, bare bones type of scenario? Yeah, I mean, basically, it just means to be faithful. It means to steward that which God has given you, which is one. Simple enough. Voting.

Get out and make your voice heard. We have the opportunity. We shouldn't take that for granted. But there's so many other things you can do. Look, there's tons of people out there who are totally apathetic to things that impact us on a day to day life.

There are all sorts of evil in the public square being practiced. Look, you know, in many states, women can abort their children. They can kill their children up to childbirth. In many states. Men can become women legally and enter female locker rooms.

That's something that Scripture calls evil.

So we, we, if we are not faithful, if we do not engage, things only get worse. And so we have a God-given duty to steward that which He has given us. We are called to engage. We are called to contend for truth with love in the public square and. Ultimately, at the end of the day, we will be responsible for what we do with what God has given us.

If we are faithful with little, He will set us over a lot. But if we if we misuse it, we will be reprimanded. Mr. May, that is so spot on. I recently bought a book from Dr.

Frank Turek called "War on Reality." And he was on Truth Talk Live a little while ago, and I had the blessing to interview him for for a little while. And a question idea that I posed to him was, "God is a god of science." So we win that battle on reality, on facts, evidence. Like you said, gender fluidity. There is no such thing as gender fluidity. You know, God made them male and female.

Even science says, you know, that your DNA, your chromosomes dictate who you are at birth. Even you mentioned abortion. There's also scripture that says, "I knew you before you were formed in the womb. You are fearfully and wonderfully made." So God is God of life, and also of life inside the womb. All throughout conception to to to birth, so when I said to Dr.

Turek, God is a god of science and God is a god of reality. I said I think God was talking to you to write the book The War on Reality because when we win the reality war, then some people who oppose reality have to distort and change reality.

Well, my truth is my truth, and I can make up whoever I want to be, and you have to accept that.

So I'm glad you hit on that. Hey, we're going to a break eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. For those that might not get us, for the other half, you can tune in thetruthnetwork dot com. Go check out this event, Freedom Uncensored at Liberty University. Thank you for tuning in.

Stay tuned for those that still have us, Truth Talk Live. Truth Talk Live. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork dot com. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. We are here with Mr.

Grant May. He is with the big event happening this Friday. It's called Freedom Uncensored. It's a huge event. Riley Gaines is going to be one of the speakers.

Dr. Ben Carson, Erica Kirk, and of course, Mr. Grant May is going to be there. The main theme is saving America. And this is going to be again happening at Liberty University.

We have a few spots open, so if you can get there and attend this event, please do. I've attended events like this before, and I've come out so invigorated, so enthused.

So it would behoove you; it would do you good to attend this event.

So I'm going to give out the number. To call in and ask Mr. May any kind of questions, any concerns about this event, give us a call. Anything that's on your mind about this event, eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four. Again, eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four.

Mr. May, I'm not sure how much. Time you can give us, but can you stay on to the end of the show? It's the end of the show, five around about five. Yes.

Yes, sir.

Great, great, great. But we do have a caller, Grant.

So hold on one second. We have a Landon Wilson calling in. Landon, what's on your mind, sir? Hey, Grant. This is Landon Wilson, man.

I'm super encouraged and proud of you, man. And I have got some questions about the event this weekend, and I really want to hear a lot about, you know, what can we do to get young voters out here, come and vote. Hey, Landon. It's great to hear from you. I think we we got to show them that they can make a difference.

There's a lot of nihilism that exists among young people. A lot of people feel powerless. But at the end of the day, it took Charlie Kirk just stepping up, saying, "Yes, here I am, Lord, send me," making an organization that has impacted millions. And so it just takes people saying yes to God. Stepping into the arena, and you can make a difference.

You look around; people are attacking truth in every every corner that exists. And I think of John Calvin's quote. He said, "A dog barks when his master is attacked. I would be a coward if I saw that God's truth is attacked and yet would remain silent." I think young people need to realize that we we we tread a very thin line between civilization. And chaos, and we only stay on the side of civilization as long as good men are willing to step up, speak up, and fight, fight for this nation, fight for our home, and fight for truth.

And so, showing people that they have a vested interest in the continual good of society, that they don't want to see it collapse into anarchy, I think that's a great place to start. Wow! Praise the Lord. I agree with you, and you remind me a lot about you know our good friend Joby Martin. He came and spoke at my church, Two Cities Church, when we had an amazing group of men coming together in fellowship.

1,350 men standing firm, speaking to First Corinthians 16:13 and 14, saying to be alert, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, be strong, and doing everything in love. And when I'm hearing you speak, I I sense a generation that is afraid to speak up. I sense a generation that is anxious and is allowed for deceit and denial. All these masks. Conforming to the world, as we saw a lot of pastors do during COVID-19.

I just want to ask you an important question about stepping up as men, as women of Christ, biblical men. How what can it look like to see a generation submit under authority of Christ, as well as walk alongside the faithful, as we learn in Romans 13? Mr. May, before you answer that question, Landon, you got a little bit of background noise coming from your end, so if you could kind of minimize that for us, please.

Sorry about that. I had it on speakerphone.

Okay, it's no problem. That's a whole lot better. Grant, if you could please respond to Mr. Landon's question. Yeah, Landon, you're spot on.

It takes a generation recognizing that they just have to say yes to God. God, in Romans thirteen or in Romans, it's clear that God sets before us good works, and all we have to do is say yes and walk in those works. I think it's I think it's such a beautiful thing that the Creator of the universe calls us by name. He can count all the hairs on our head. He knows them.

He formed us in the womb, and all we have to do is say yes to His grand adventure. And He has good works for us to do, and all we have to do is say yes. Look, He's put placed us in this specific time for a specific reason, and I think part of that is to fight for our country, to fight for our Families, which at the end of the day, that's really what a nation is. It's your family, and so we have a duty to to love our neighbors enough to. Stand up and to speak out about the political things that affect us.

A lot of political issues today, you know. At the end of the day, they're really just moral issues, and and scripture and God has a lot to to speak to it. And we just have to discern His will, and then we love our neighbors by getting involved. I think a lot of progressives can sometimes invert the two greatest commandments. They they replace the greatest, which is loving God, and they say the greatest good is just loving your neighbor.

And the the love they present is no love at all. They they they invert First Corinthians thirteen. You know, First Corinthians thirteen six says, "Love does not delight in evil, but it rejoices with truth." And they, in order to do what they think is loving, they they minimize truth and they do delight in evil. And so we as Christians need to understand the word. We need to step up.

We need to speak up, and that's what we're going to be doing this Friday and this Saturday at Liberty University.

So get your tickets. Go to Freedom Uncensored. We we hope to see people there. It's going to be a massive event. We have a few tickets left, and we're we're really looking forward to this Friday and Saturday.

Landon, before you go, you mentioned two cities. Is that where you attend church? Sir, yes, sir. Two Cities Church on North Patterson. Good deal.

I've been to that church a few times. Shout out to Pastor Kyle Mercer out there.

So before you go, let me ask you this question: Does Two Cities do they kind of embody what you were talking about about being involved in equipping the the the church? It's a great question. Two Cities stands firm, humbled before the authority of the Lord, and I would say that is the first step in surrender. And so, you know, first to to claim Jesus as Lord, to declare Him as Lord, we have to come to the end of ourselves to find Jesus. And so, Two Cities does a great job at acknowledging that we are a church of community groups called to allow for ten percent of our Team, our church to be sent out into the mission field to multiply, and ultimately that's fulfilling the Great Commission, and that's fulfilling God's first command to us to be fruitful and to multiply.

And so, I would say, two cities is an excellent place for many people to bring their families, to raise communities, to raise the next generation of disciples, families, marriages to be healthier, to restored and reconciled, and ultimately to walk in the freedom that Christ has. Changed and transformed our lives for yes, sir. That's amazing, and I didn't recognize this as my friend, Landon Wilson, from the other Bible studies and other events we we've attended. I thank you very much for calling up, man. You're you're also hitting it on several different points, very articulate, and you're going to a great church, and you gave another reason why we need to get involved.

This is another young guy who's answering the call and giving us many reasons why every. Buddy else needs to answer the call as well. Hey, Landon, thank you very much for calling in, and hopefully, I will see you soon. Hey, absolutely, brother. I'm looking forward to seeing you soon.

I want to ask Grant May real fast: How much does the conference cost for those that want to come on the call? You know, I am a personal friend and advocate of of standing for freedom and Turning Point USA, and I'm encouraged by Grant May's courage and calls for for our next generation to rise up. But how much would it cost? For for a student or an adult to come today for this great event this weekend. Good question, sir.

Well, Landon, it is great talking with you. Thanks for calling in.

So cool to talk to young people that are on fire for the Lord, and and that's really what this next generation is all about.

So super cool to talk to you, hear about the difference you're making. The conference this weekend is twenty five dollars for students, fifty dollars for adult. Adults general admissions fifty dollars. You can get our VIP ticket, which is a little more. I believe it's two hundred fifty dollars.

Look, America is turning two hundred fifty this year. It's a great time to invest that in the future of this country and come and meet with, talk with some of the speakers who will be here: Riley Gaines, Isabel Brown, Nick Freitas, Erica Kirk. Just a stacked lineup that really, this is some of the best value that you'd be able to get with that money. Absolutely, as as a as a personal testimony, I would say we must put our hands up and say, "Here am I." Send me, go to these events, stand firm on the Word of God, and really acknowledge that it really starts with your yes. God is asking us, has commanded us, has called us, with by His promises, is to to go into the world and make disciples.

And it really does start with saying no to this world and be saying yes to Christ. And so, I would encourage go to these events, go. Many events, and you will find the ultimate blessing, which is finding the common denominator of Christ, regardless of title, engineer, doctor, you know, businessman. Regardless of you know, hey, is this event for me? Ask yourself, hey, who am I, and who, whose am I?

And if your answer is a son or daughter of the King, and ultimately. You want to live for Jesus. This is a great place to fan the flame, standing for freedom. That's right. And one more thing, Landon.

We have Doctor Ben Carson add-on for seventy-five dollars.

So that's going to be a three-course plated dinner, exclusive gala program, additional networking opportunities, and special freedom experience.

So seventy-five dollars extra to meet with Doctor Ben Carson exclusively. Hey, Landon. Thank you very much for your call, sir. We'll talk to you later. God bless you, sir.

Absolutely, brother. God bless you.

So, Mister May, we we have a few minutes left, but before the break, so if you could expand a little bit on what this add-on of seventy-five dollars, what this would mean, what does anything else come with this? More than what I mentioned, so.

So this is our annual gala that will be happening Saturday night after the conference concludes. Ben Carson will be there, as you heard. Tim Barton, also from Wallbuilders, who Tim Barton is just a personal hero of mine. He is incredible. He, you know, his his father David Barton started Wallbuilders, and they own the largest collection, own the largest privately held collection of original documents from the founding of.

This country and they are just on fire teaching Christians about the true history of this nation that many academics many universities want to obscure and so we hope that you'll join us for the add on the gala is one of my favorite aspects of the conference Ben Carson will be there of course and so will Tim Barton so highly recommend adding on the gala and I think it's just so important that Christians understand their the root. Of this country, they understand the way it was founded because there has been almost a hundred years of subversion that that happened. Hold that thought, May. We're coming to a break. eight six six three four eight seven eight eight four On the other side, finish that thought because I I want to hear that as well.

We're talking about America being saved through this event. Freedom uncensored. Give us a call. Truth Talk Live. Truth Talk Live.

It's super affordable: twenty-five dollars for students, fifty dollars for general admission. And we hope to see you there. It's going to be a packed lineup. It's going to be, you know, back-to-back heavy hitters throughout Friday night.

And all of Saturday, we really hope to see you out here. If you're within driving distance of Liberty University, you don't want to miss this event. Amen, amen. And we have a caller, Mr. Excuse me, Pastor Russ East calling in.

Good day, Pastor. How are you doing today, sir?

Well, hey, doing great. I'm actually the station manager for the Truth Network station in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ah, great, awesome. But I do have a pastor with me. His name is Jared Hunsinger from Discovery Christian Community Church.

It's in Murray, Utah.

So Jared would love to say hello to everybody out in Utah and wherever this is being broadcast. Yeah, yeah. Thanks for having me.

Well, thanks for being on. And from my understanding, that's going to be Truth Talk or Truth Network out at the eight twenty a.m. station. Is that right? Yeah, that's right.

Am 820 and 95.3 FM and 103.9 FM.

So. Yep, we're we're grateful for the Truth Network and all the good things that are happening. Praise God. Uh, praise God. Praise God.

I listened to Mr. Russ, or excuse me, Pastor Russ East, um, with his program, and he's had uh other guys on there like Frank Turk as well. And Pastor for Christ. Yes, yes, that's the program, Pastor for Christ. Uh, so when I when I saw that name pop up there, I I I beamed up.

So yeah. Thank you all for what you're doing. I'm pretty sure you're planting seeds out there in that area, and we just pray that. Speaking of that, yeah, go ahead. Yes, speaking of that, can I mention two things that we can ask our listeners to pray for us for?

Sure, please go ahead.

Well, one of them is Pastor Jared Hunsinger from Discovery Christian Community in Murray. He and I are right now we're driving up to Simpson University. In Redding, California, to bring a mission trip to to Utah.

So, we're we're trusting the Lord. We've got a couple leaders we're going to meet with. We're going to do a little training, and just getting this this team prepared for for doing ministry, planting the seeds of the gospel. And so, Jared will tell you really quick how it came about, why he's why he's doing this, why he's partnering with Utah Partnerships for Christ. Yeah, go ahead, Jared.

All right, I'll keep this short. But 20 years ago, when I was a college student doing my undergrad, I came to Salt Lake City on a mission trip with Russ East, and the Lord planted a seed in my heart. And 20 years later, He's called me to return to now pastor and lead a church there in Salt Lake City.

So, just kind of a testimony to the power of short-term mission trips. You just never know how those little trips you take when you're a college kid might change the entire trajectory of your life. And please tell me your age, sir. You sound young. I'm 43.

You're 43 for 20 years. Oh man, I would have pegged you for like 19 or 20 or something like that. Man, yeah, I guess you have a certain youth energy about you. That's that's that's pretty good. But yeah, we we need planting.

We need we need church planting everywhere, Salt Lake City here in North Carolina, all over America, and all across the world. Because it says to you know in the Great Commission, go to all the world and preach the gospel. Amen. And Yeah, go ahead, real quick. Oh no, that's no, so true.

I just just also wanted to mention really quick. We have a band coming out, a ministry that's not just a band. I mean, they've been around for like literally sixty years. It's called the Imperials, and they've continued with their music for all these years, and they're coming to Utah. We're we're sponsoring a concert.

It's it's they're called the Imperials, and they're bringing out also Leon Patillo and Michael Peterson, a country western singer, and a local gentleman named Caleb Went. And that's going to be Saturday, November 14th. That's Saturday, November 14th at 4 p.m. at Mission Life Center in Layton.

So you can go to the Imperials.com. And get your ticket, and so please pray for for that event. We're going to share the gospel at the end. These guys were, you know, really more like in their, I guess you could say they're they've always been pretty active, but especially in the '80s, I'd say. But even in the '90s, I mean, the Lord blessed them a lot with Dove Awards and Grammys and things like that.

You know, just that they've received and giving God the glory and stuff. But they're just a really special group of guys, and so it's why invite. Utah to you know to bring their friends out who don't know the Lord. Oh yeah, we'll yeah yeah we'll we'll do that and we'll pray for you. We're we're coming up on the end of the show, but but thank you guys for calling.

We'll be praying for you. Thank you so much. God bless you.

Thanks for having us on. You're welcome. God bless.

Well, that Mr. May, see you later. That Mr. May kind of ties in to what you're talking about. They're planting churches, and that is another way that we can save America.

Would you agree, sir? Oh, absolutely! You know, Alexis de Tocqueville, a French journalist, came to America at the early 1800s, and he was studying what the Americans got right because the French Revolution had ended in so much disaster. And he said, "It was only when I saw the pulpits aflame with righteousness that I understood the key to America's success." America is great because America is good, and ultimately, at the end of the day, we know why it's good. It's because the church, for so long, dictated the American conscience, and we need churches out there to speak truth, to love people, to love God.

And at the end of the day, the pulpits are going to be the ones that restore America. Amen to that. Is there anything that you want to bring up about yourself? Any kind of events, engagements, books, anything that you're involved in that you like to share with our with the Truth Talk Truth Talk Live listeners? Yes, sir.

Well, I'm just a Gen Z conservative who believes in saving America. Speak with Turning Point and Leadership Institute across the nation. Just super passionate about teaching Christians about the true history of this country that has been intentionally subverted and the role Christians have to play in it.

So super excited to be speaking at this conference this weekend, Freedom Uncensored. Go get your tickets now! But we have a home. We are called. As Christians, to steward our political authority, and by God's grace, we're going to save this country.

Amen to that. Well, Grant May, we could talk for a whole other hour, but we're up on the break. You did mention the Constitution, so I'm going to try to squeeze this in real fast. I didn't really care no too much about the Constitution. But one thing that the Constitution that we can point to is it works for everybody.

One of the first lines in there is the freedom of speech, the freedom of religion, or like thereof.

So. Everybody wants to have their own voice. Everybody wants to speak up, no matter if you are an individual, group, what have you. We have that right to speak up, and that's different from every other document out there in any other country because that right to speak up, that right to have your religion or lack thereof, is not given by the government. Shout out to Caleb Otterley for giving me knowledge about the Constitution.

So. Why is that important? Why our rights are given by our Creator, not by the government? Because our rights cannot be taken away.

So, no matter what your political leanings, you have your freedom of speech because it's written in our law that our freedom of speech comes from our Creator. That's one of the reasons why the Constitution's lasted so long. But the founding fathers—they are, sorry—they were imperfect people. Nobody on this planet is a perfect person.

So they had the wherewithal, I think, you know, with the Holy Spirit working through them to allow that Constitution to be amended, so it can be changed.

So when people say we need to put the Constitution in the garbage can, it's outdated, it doesn't work. You're not going to have a better document to govern other than the one that has Christian Judeo principles written in it, to where everybody has the freedom of speech, everybody can defend themselves, everybody has the right to pursue happiness.

So everybody wants to talk, everybody wants to defend themselves, everybody wants to have a pathway to prosperity. I'm not sure how much better it can get than that.

So we're almost out of time. Freedom Uncensored. This Friday and Saturday. October twenty third and twenty fourth. Twenty third, twenty fourth.

There we go. Thank you. Twenty third and twenty fourth. It's going to be at Liberty University. We have a few spots available.

Go, go there. You're going to be impacted. Take as many people as you can. When we are talking about saving America and we're talking about impacting people, you're not going to really find it through many, many other groups out there. This is going to be one way that we can really change America by having.

These speakers pour into us, give us a little bit of scripture as well, hopefully a lot of scripture.

So I intend, or I implore you, to go check this event out. We have a few seconds left. I'll let you close it out, Grant. Jamal, thank you so much. It's been a pleasure talking to you.

I can't recommend going to Freedom Uncensored enough. I think this is going to be a catalyst for a movement that is going to be nationwide, where we take back our country, we take back our freedoms, and we rededicate ourselves to the ideas that made America great. Amen. Amen. I got to cut you off there, Graham.

I'm sorry about that. Freedom Uncensored. This Friday, Saturday, go check it out. Freedom Month Center. This Truth Talk Live.

Take care and God bless. Truth Talk Live.
