At Liver University. Freedom uncensored. Why should everyone listening save this date and be at this event in October?
Well, brother Stu, let me just tell you first of all, this is a place to encourage people. These were people In our nation, where we are obviously celebrating and continue to celebrate the 250th anniversary of our founding, right? What bold men came together and wisely said in that Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776: We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights. Chief among them is life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
So we know that our rights come from God and not government. That was in the second paragraph of that same declaration. We're living in a time where there is not a lot of clarity, there's a lot of confusion, there's not a lot of courage, there's a lot of cowardice, right? And we also need to stand on truth and on conviction in recognizing what these things are. This event is exactly for that.
The theme of the event. Freedom Uncensored, the theme of the event is America is worth saving. We believe in this country. We believe in the founding of this nation. Most importantly, we believe in the Almighty God who gave us the gift of freedom in the birth of this country.
And so, Erica Kirk, Benny Johnson, Riley Gaines, Nick Freitas, Isabel Brown, Lee Allen Baker, some amazing names, Shane Winnings, Lucas Miles, yours truly, Dr. Ben Carson, Tim Barton, many, many more are going to be at this event standing for life, liberty, and truth.
Well, Ryan, you've been very bold in your faith, and you've been very bold at the Freedom Center to make it very clear what the Bible says about issues like gender with all the gender confusion, issues like standing with Israel, issues going all the way down the line. To Everything involving this socialist, communist, Islamic wave attacking our country.
So, this is really a way to rally people around. And talk about maybe some of the hot potatoes that you guys are going to be dealing with, but more from a positive, I mean, this is going to be a very positive, encouraging couple days, isn't it? Yeah, it is. I mean, so we're fighting for faith, we're fighting for culture, we're fighting for history. One of the most important things is remembrance.
The Bible is filled with passages on remembrance. You know, remembering and not forgetting. You go back to the book of Deuteronomy when Israel was going to cross the Jordan River. You know, this was a moment where Moses is laying out his charge. This is his farewell address.
And he says, I've set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Choose life that you may live. And he says in that same passage that the book of the law, all of these things that have happened in Egypt, don't forget about them. Remember them. And we're at a moment 250 years later, from that day in Independence Hall, where the framers signed their death certificate on that document, basically saying that we're pledging everything.
For freedom. We're pledging everything to Almighty God. We're pledging everything in order that our posterity might have the fruits and the benefits of this sacrifice. And so we're doing this obviously to remember history. We're also doing this to rededicate ourselves to those eternal truths.
And so I think it's really, really important to be at this bank. Young and old alike, and so there's going to be a lot of things for Gen Z, but if you're a boomer, if you're a Gen Xer, you're not going to be left out, there's things for you too. Yeah, and I tell you, Ryan, the event, Freedom Uncensored, now I believe it's October 20th. Like, okay, yeah. Or yes.

People want to know where does freedom come from? At the heart of it all is the, yeah, tell us about the origins. People need to know and how the gospel is connected to this.
Yeah, ultimately, look, the true north is Jesus Christ. We wouldn't have political freedom without spiritual freedom. We wouldn't have this understanding of inalienable rights if we ultimately didn't have faith in God. We have to recognize that pre-existent, before our government was ever founded, before we ever came up with those words that are on that parchment paper, we had to have an understanding of a faith in Almighty God that was resolute, that was steadfast, that it ultimately couldn't be overturned. And I think that's the thing that people need to understand.
These ideas did not come from a vacuum. They came ultimately from scripture, the pages of scripture, the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you shall know the truth, and the truth shall what? Set you free. And so political freedom, inalienable rights, all of that is ultimately coming from the fountain of freedom, which is Jesus.
Wow, and Ryan, we need our young people to come out. We need students to give an appeal to students. Why does every youth pastor need to bring the youth group? And teachers need to bring their kids, their Sunday school class, and other kids, their parents need to bring their kids. To this thing?
What's the appeal and the attraction for young people, students? I know a lot of Liberty University students will be coming to Lynchburg October 23rd and 24th, but talk to the rest of the young people because our kids are following after this socialism, communism, offering you the world, offering you a blank check if you elect me, and then next thing you know, We're going to be like Cuba. Yes.
Well, what we recognize at the Freedom Center, which by the way was co-founded by Charlie Kirk back in 2019, what we recognize is that it's not just about politics, it's really about faith. Faith and politics are inextricably linked, they're connected together. We want to give the kind of content, the resources, the speakers from the stage are going to fire and charge them up to be courageous, to be convictional, to be voices of clarity and truth in a culture that is very Very confused, and so I would say this is absolutely for the church. Uh, yes, we're on a mission to rescue the public square. If Christians won't do it, who else will?
And the time is right now. And so, I would encourage if you're a youth pastor or if you're a Christian homeschooling parent, bring your kids, bring your co-op, bring your youth group to this event because it's going to be action chat, action-packed, fully charged, high-octane.
