This is the Truth Network. This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth. I can't hide it.
A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host.
How has the resurrection changed your life? How has the resurrection changed your life? 86634 Truth, 866-348-7884. And so I wanted to share something with you today before we get into this show. It's 1 Corinthians 15 in verse 55.
It says, O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast.
Unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. And I believe we've got a Jacob Ebersoll on the phone. One deal. Sir, how are you doing, Mike? Man, I'm doing just phenomenal, man.
This, I tell you what, people always talk about Christmas and Easter, but if you think about it, Resurrection Sunday, this time of the year, yes, we're glad that Jesus was born, but the fact that he died and he rose from the grave, it changes everything. What do you think, man? Man, we do not serve a dead God. We serve a God that is alive. And uh Has changed my life and is changing lives all across the upstate, changing lives all across the Carolinas.
He is alive today and he can change your life. If you're listening to this, I pray that you'll tune in. Excited to be with you, Mike. Yes, sir, man. And I was just reading the other verse before, and it was about how, oh, death, where is your victory?
And when, see, the truth is, is that if Jesus did not rise from the grave, then the Bible says we're actually worshiping God in vain. If Jesus didn't die on the cross for our sins and then rise from the grave, and then he was seen by over 500 people, if Jesus didn't change our lives in that way, then he could never change our lives today. But let me ask you this, Jacob, and I think there's some noise in your background, but let me ask you this: How has the resurrection changed your life? Yeah, you know, I I Came to Christ. february nineteenth, two thousand six.
And I was broken and life had beaten me down. And you know, I was Dabbling in all kinds of things, man. And and uh a pastor found me in a parking lot. And he told me about The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. And I got a little bit of an echo on my side too, Mike.
But I. He met me there February 19th. And uh he brought me to Romans 10, man. And uh And he told me that Jesus loved me, that he is alive, and he has a plan for my life. And I had an iron wall between me and God for so many years, man, and that iron wall began to shatter through the power of the Holy Spirit.
And the power of the gospel. I bowed my knee that night, February 19th, 2006. And I was born again, man. And, you know, The church, we think we hear the gospel all the time and we hear about the cross, but I think sometimes we forget that the gospel changes lives, man. And so, if you're listening to this and you know the Lord, you carry the answer to a broken generation.
And uh That night, my life changed forever. I went home, I got this red wheelbarrow. with a flat tire on it, Mike. And I filled it up with all the stuff that I had accumulated over the years that had been. Uh Chaining me down and uh I lit it on fire right there in front of my mom and never looked back.
So You asked the question, how has the resurrection changed my life? generational curses were broken. that day. Because Jesus is alive. And now I'm preaching that gospel all around the world, telling people the same thing.
Anybody that'll listen.
So that is amazing. You said generational curses were broken off of your life once Jesus came in. But one of the things that I was thinking about was this: is that when there were generational curses that were broken, how did Jesus, you know, you said that he changed you, but then he changed you to help others. Is that right? Yeah.
Yeah, it's uh You know, he'll turn your weakness into strength. Mike. And uh I gave him the little that I had. And I said, I surrender all. And it's been unbelievable to see what he's done with that.
And I'm still just a broken kid from Spartanburg that Jesus set free. But I gave him my yes, man, and Stay faithful in the little And now it's years later seeing you know, tens of thousands of people ripped off the devil's table and put at his feet. I never would have dreamed in a a million years that I'd be able to do what I'm doing now. And every day I wake up, I feel like I'm in a dream. And I just want to go low every morning and say, here, my Lord, send me not my will, but your will.
Yeah, I mean we we were gonna talk about a little bit, you know, about what's going on here in South Carolina, but we've been seeing this all over the world now for going on seven years. And uh yeah, I'm a little bit dumbfounded, Mike.
So uh And I'm also outside with a bunch of noise, so I apologize. No, no, it's all good, man.
Well, you and I just talked about this because if Jesus is the truth, if he's the way, if he's the only way to get to heaven, Stu Epperson often talks about this. He said, if I had the cure for cancer and he said, but I didn't want to tell anybody because I may think that they may think that I was crazy or stupid or silly or something like that. He said, how selfish would I have to be? He says, but if you have the cure for cancer, of cure, of course, you're going to want to tell other people about that. And if you know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and that without surrendering your life to Jesus, then you're going to go to hell.
If I don't want to share that with other people in some way, shape, or form, then to me, that's pretty selfish. Yeah, you know, I've I've often gotten in trouble. Saying what I'm about to say, but I say it a lot from the pulpit. You know, if we actually believed. the Bible.
If there was a company of men and women that actually believed the Bible, we wouldn't shut up. You know, the Bible says in Romans 5, but God demonstrates his. love toward us and that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. And uh It also says in Isaiah 53 that he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities. By his stripes, we are healed.
And uh I could go on and on and on with these verses, these life changing verses that we should be Sharing with the world, especially in this hour. I believe he's moving with urgency. I believe that The gospel is moving throughout the earth as the waters cover the sea, and he is looking for willing vessels. Uh to wake up. And uh And go for it, dreaming for the impossible together in unity.
So, my life changed, man, because somebody reached their hand out to me.
So, I'm going to do the same thing as much as I can.
Well, and I think some people, Jacob, are kind of afraid because they think, well, people aren't going to want to talk to them about Jesus. But I have a friend of mine named Fred Hagee who actually said this to me. He said, Mike, he said, They did a study by the Barna group, and he said between 70 and 80% of people said that they would be willing to listen to a gospel presentation from somebody who was enthusiastic about what they were telling them.
So, you know, maybe what we think in our head is not always true. Yeah, and he'll be your hands, he'll be your feet, he'll be your voice. I preach a sermon in our crusades and in a lot of our events called the Holy Spirit. is the greatest evangelist. And that's very true.
When I was coming up in ministry, I In many ways, I didn't think I had much value in my voice. I didn't think that I had much to offer, but it's pretty wild how he'll again turn that weakness into strength if you'll just give him. Give him a little bit of faith and a little bit of guts, Mike. Yeah, and when we get back from the break, we're going to be talking about how you guys are going to be putting your faith into action. And it's starting May the 1st in Charleston, South Carolina.
We'll be right back with Jacob Ebersoll after this break. Truth talk. You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.
Alright guys, we are back with Jacob Ebersoll and guys we are so excited about this show. But Jacob, you've got something that's going on on May the 1st, is that right? Get the Yes, sir.
Now it's 25 cities and counting all across the state. We've done some pretty big things across South Carolina, but this is definitely something that I couldn't have even dreamed or imagined. to take place this early in what we've done in the States, may first through the third at the Exchange Park in Lassen, South Carolina, which is Charleston, the Charleston Crusade twenty twenty six. will take place under the big tent. This tent is a big sucker, Mike, and we are calling hundreds of hands and feet to come and help us with this thing.
But yeah, right now it's pretty wild to see how the Lord has moved on the hearts of churches and prayer networks. And on fire believers all across the state. And not only that, the state house, man, we were. honored to be at the State House with A multitude of different ministry leaders and politicians who all signed. A resolution.
uh declaring that South Carolina belongs to Jesus. and rededicating our state back to the Lord in connection with The Charleston Crusade 2026.
Something that you can actually see online on our pages. It was a dream come true for me. And what was interesting about that, Mike, is When I was there, Representative Mark Smith was speaking. He's the one that spearheaded that. that resolution.
He turned around and he said. the entire House of Representatives, the General Assembly, and Senate signed this resolution. rededicating Uh our state. back to God. And I'm going to be picking up that resolution here soon.
But it's wild to see how God will again take a little bit of faith, a little bit of guts and give us the increase.
So Yeah, people are coming from all over the state. 25 cities and counting The Jesus March begins the first night. Asking everybody to assemble at 5 p.m. at the tent, May 1st, and we're going to proclaim his name to the rooftops until all have heard. Mike, so we're excited.
Well, yeah, and when Jesus was here on earth, you know, he definitely did his thing. But I think about it, and there was a lot of work that was actually involved with Jesus Christ. You know, one of the things that he had to do, he had to go out, he had to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and he would teach. And so what people don't realize is that there's work involved. And so, you know, we always want to just kind of sit around and, oh, all these people are going to come to Jesus.
But a lot of times it takes work, planning, and effort, but it also takes prayer. Is that right, Jacob? Listen, man, we need help all across the board. I'm asking everybody. If there was ever something to sink your teeth into, ever something to put your hand.
Uh hand on We're asking you to do that with this, whhq.org, that's worldharvestheadquarters.org. Literally we've made it. simple Very simple for anyone to sign up. As soon as you go to that website, you can see all of the ways to volunteer. And we need people to help put up that tent.
We need help with the mass gospel choir. We need help with mobilization. We need help with networking and making sure the right churches are on board. We need help with cleanup, greeters. You'll see a whole list of things: media, photography.
This is a huge endeavor. And so we're asking everybody to put their hands on this massive net as we pull in the harvest. And not just in English, but those who speak a different language. We've made it available on our website for you to view it in Spanish, Russian.
So that you can invite your friends, your family, your neighbors. We're believing. uh for every nation, tribe and tongue to come to Christ. And we want to see that happen under the big tent, may first to the third. Amen.
I'm looking forward to it. And I think I've already told you that I'm going to try to be there as well. But it's funny. We got people who want to share, who are waiting on the line, and they want to share about what the resurrection, how the resurrection has changed their life. And I've actually got a Sherry Russell.
We can add her in on the line. But she's the one who actually introduced me to you and gave me your number. Are you there, Sherry? Hey, come on, Sherry. Sherry, are you there?
I think she was on hold for. I'm put myself on mute. No, that's okay. I said you're probably on hold for about 25 minutes.
So, but yeah, we're glad to have you on, Sherry. Let me ask you this: Sherry: How has the resurrection changed your life?
Well, just like Jacob said, it has been it's a radical transformation. that I was dead. I was among the walking dead, and he radically altered my life the way that I will forever, eternally see he gave me life. Because I'm nothing without him. I am nothing without him.
So, therefore, um. I've given him my life, but I know that um Yeah, if it had not been for the resurrection. We, like scripture says, we are We are literally, um, we would be worshiping. He was resurrected from the dead. He had to have been resurrected from the dead.
But in it is Power and authority. The um He changed and altered my life because he. McCain lives again. He conquered death. And because of it, he gives us the right and the authority to conquer death.
Yeah, and Sherry, you actually shared as well about how he actually saved, he literally saved your life.
Somebody was going to kill you. Is that right? Uh Yes, I've had some interesting experiences. Um Aye. I'm trying to remember what you're alluding to.
Well, you said you were married to a guy and he came home one night. Yes, yes. Yes, yes, yes, that's right. Thank you for remember reminding me of that. Sure.
Um yes, I had a cousin who had just threatened my life. He pulled he was he was in the room with the gun, the only gun in the house, and the ammo. And I knew that I literally might only have moments left. And I called upon the Lord, and he showed up. I feel the father's loving hand loving arms wrapped around me.
And he gave me teeth. It was a piece that passed all understanding, and I knew he was with me. I knew I was safe. even though this madman was in the other room. And yes, it was a radical crazy.
It didn't make sense. It literally did not make sense for me to have peace, but I had so much peace. that I even fell asleep, which gave the ex-husband a chance to pass out and I got up and snuck away. Wow, and here you are.
So, I want to thank you for the call, Sherry. And when I hear that, Jacob, you know, I realize that there is peace, but I'm sure that God has showed up in your life, whether it's been the ministry. I've heard a guy named Bill Weiss, he always says that when we start to do evangelism, miracles follow. Have you seen that? Yeah.
Yeah, I I liken it to Peter. He stepped out of the boat. I've experienced this in in very big ways, very in some small ways, but You know, it's been a wild journey the last three four years and The deeper you go, the scarier it may feel. You know, you feel like you're going to drown. Maybe you can't see the boat anymore.
But I know, I know that that is where Jesus is. And He is in deep waters, and he has been calling me further and further. out into those waters since I started this journey. And it's a beautiful, crushing, and an extraordinary journey that we're inviting all of you on. You know, we're not just holding this crusade for the lost, but we're also inviting every man, woman, boy, and girl to be a part of this journey.
Yeah, and so if people want to learn more about the crusade, do you have a website or a Facebook page or an Instagram or something like that where they could learn more about it or how to get involved? Yeah, you can search my name. I'm all over social media, but the website, whq.org, is the best place to go. WorldHarvestHeadquarters.org, whhq.org. We'll be right back after this break.
You're listening to The Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. All right, guys, we are back with a Jacob Ebersawl, and I'm excited about May 1st. There is a huge crusade going on, and when I think about how the resurrection has changed my life, he took me from a womanizer and from somebody who was into alcohol and all sorts of stuff. You know, he saved me out of all of that, and he changed my life, and I can't help. But to change other people as well.
And we've got a Doug Coffin out of Greensboro, North Carolina. Doug, are you there? Yes, I'm here. Hey, brother, how has the resurrection changed your life? Yeah.
Well uh immensely to to say the least, but um Just uh Meeting Jesus, the the initial thing was Uh I was living in a world really with no hope. Excuse me, kind of in a you know, if you're if you're not in a affluent neighborhood or an affluent area, particularly back in the sixties and seventies. There wasn't a lot of hope. It was such a class system. And so, you know, meeting Jesus and realizing that.
now because of he was alive, everything was possible. I could have a new life. Even though I'd come from a life of sin and Um I now could have a life as as good as anybody's life, which was Um, which was just cements, you know, it's the beginning of that hope. Yeah, that's right. And you actually went to prison, is that right?
I did, yes. I well, I've I've been to jail several times, um Um, in my in my day, you know, I Um I was arrested many times. I've been to jail and I don't know, I think four or five states. Um Um, when I met the Lord, I was actually um No, I'd I had been dating this girl who was praying for me. And um She was praying, and the Lord spoke to her and told her to fast.
And on the end of her fast, I was arrested by the whole Greensboro Life Squad. And so Two weeks later, she had been telling me about Jesus, and again, I had no background. People would tell me. I ask Jesus to come in your life and he'll save you. And so I would say, Jesus, come in my life.
And I'd give him five, ten minutes. I didn't know how this thing worked. And so you know, nothing happened and what I thought. But I believe at that point God was starting he had started to make a plan To deliver me as well as Save me, not just saving me from sin. But delivering me from the effects of sin.
And at the uh at the end of her fast, I was arrested. Two weeks later, I was back into drug culture and Um Talking, you know, we were in the hickory movement, and we were talking about things. I told people, I said, let's talk about God. Um You know, they just kind of flipped out. And I asked him to come in my life again.
All of a sudden the drugs left me. And there was a grace. from a resurrected God. Who came into me and gave me the power to walk with him. And that's.
I've been walking with him for over fifty years now and And it's still just as fresh and new. To be in the presence of the resurrected God, of a God who not only gave his life for us, but gave a sinless life for us And now we can fellowship with him. That's I that never can get old. It's it's it's eternally you know, it's it's eternally gratifying. It's just immensely Satisfying.
It is. And I tell you what, one of the ways that we can stay in love with Jesus is, I believe, by fasting, prayer, and reading His Word. And Jacob, I don't think you've ever been in prison, but you've been arrested by Jesus. Is that right, Jacob? Yeah.
That's right, man. I I actually just got out of a prison. We just did a prison crusade last week, man. It was our first World Harvest Prison Crusade. And I tell you what, man, that the the Lord arrested or rearrested a lot of those guys.
uh through the power of the Holy Spirit and uh And so yeah, I've I've uh He's set my heart on fire and uh And I ain't looking back. That was a great testimony, Doug. And I hope to see you under the tent with Mike, my friend.
Okay, I'm not sure if I can make that um I'm pretty well tied up, but I I will be praying for you guys and I will tell you this. When I met the Lord, the Lord gave me a vision for unity in cities. And I will tell you, though, initially this was back in the 70s. When I brought this before the church, they really rejected it. because everybody was interested in building their own ministry.
But hearing what you're doing. It's it's tremendous because every place in the scripture you see the feet of the body of Christ come together, you see a move of the Holy Spirit. And so I'm praying that as you bring these people together, the Spirit of God. will move in great power. Come on.
That is good. But see, the thing is with Jacob, for this revival that they're doing, there's only Baptists allowed, nobody else. Is that right, Jacob? I got to bring you with me everywhere, Mike. We're certainly inviting all the Baptists.
That's where I come from. This is for anybody and everybody. Obviously, regarding leadership, we're very careful of who our core teams are in every city. But And we send an invitation to everyone. At the end of the day, though, my biggest heart cry is for that boy in the back.
that girl in the back that feels like she has no value, feel like he has no value and no voice and no hope. And we're going after those people. It was crazy. My last weekend, we did a Jesus march here in Spartanburg and Over a thousand people came out to that. where all these different cities are involved now in this crusade.
and Spartanburg represented last weekend and We saw all all kinds of um Different people with different backgrounds, different denominations come together for that Jesus March. And they're they're preparing here in Spartanburg to make their way to Charleston the same way they're preparing in Greenville, the same way they're preparing in Bennettsville, the Low Country, all through the Midlands, Columbia. Obviously Charleston. And what they're doing, man, is every city is bringing a banner. That says their city shall be saved.
So we're starting to see banners come into our groups that says. Charleston shall be saved, Bennettsville shall be saved, Clemson shall be saved. Columbia shall be saved, and all these banners are going to come up under that tent. come may first through the third. Declaring that South Carolina belongs to Jesus.
Amen. And Jacob Ebersolis is spelled E-B-E-R-S-O-L-E. And, Doug, I want to thank you for the call. And I'm sure we'll see you Sunday, Doug, okay? Sure, all right.
Thank you, man. And it looks like we've got my friend Leslie calling in from Texas. Are you there, Leslie? Yes. Come on, Leslie.
Hey, sister, how has the resurrection changed your life? Oh Lord, in so many ways, like literally death to life. But the biggest thing I think is hope. Like it gave me hope. when I was hopeless.
What do you mean by that exactly?
So I was really sick. I was almost bedridden. I was going to doctors for almost ten years trying to get help, trying to feel better. And it was just we can't find what's wrong with you. And I kept on putting my hope and faith into these doctors that they were going to figure out what's going on with me and I was going to get my life back.
It just never happened. It just kept on going and going to one specialist, to another specialist, to another set of doctors, to another one. And it just never helped me. And then one time I was in a doctor's office and they're like, you know what? we think you're making this all up.
And we just we really think that you know, you got to go see a psychiatrist because you just want to lay around in bed and be lazy. I'm like, are you kidding me?
So, anyways, I got onto my car and I was like, Lord, I can't live like this anymore. God, if you're real, like, give me a body and I will just, I'll give it to you. Like, I don't even care what that looks like, I will just give it to you. And He did. He led me into healing.
Mind you, I was still lost. I was not saved. I was just a lost. Wicked person. And he just started healing me step by step, directing me, showing me what to do.
And he gave me hope that there was something out there, that he was out there, that life was out there. Oh.
Well, you know, the Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 13, it says, But now we have these three things: faith, hope, and love. It says, But the greatest of these is love. And so, you know, the Bible says that, How can we say that we love Jesus, yet we hate our brother? How can we say that we love Jesus, yet we're not going to forgive that person who has done me wrong? And so, Leslie, I want to thank you for the call and thank you for sharing.
But, Jacob, have you ever had to go through forgiveness yourself?
Okay. Wow, that's a great question, Mike. I just gotta say this, though, before I answer that question. As we've been on the call, Michael. People are starting to sign up to volunteer for the crusade, which is really cool to see.
And so, we're, if you're listening to this, don't hesitate. Go and sign up so that we can bring. Uh this love that Michael's talking about to every Every person, every man, woman, boy, and girl, every brother. Sister, father, mother. uh in South Carolina and beyond.
Um I do believe the Lord's going to use You listening to be a bridge for people to meet Jesus. Yeah, yeah, Michael. I mean, 1 Corinthians 13 is a. Kind of a staple passage for our ministry. It's something that we talk about a lot.
because who are we to hold these big events? Who are we to invite people to these crusades if we're not loving the waiter or the waitress at the restaurant the way that we're portraying this love on stage?
So, this is a big one for me, man. We can preach all the sermons we want. We can have a big ministry and do these big events. But if we have not love, we have nothing, man. And so I've had to forgive all kinds of people and I've had to ask the Lord to give me the wisdom and the strength to do it.
I'll even say this, though, Michael: some people that are coming under the tent. The Lord's going to touch them and they're going to be able to forgive themselves. It's not just forgiving others.
Some of you listening to this, you need to forgive yourself and let that shame fall off of you. Maybe you're wearing garments of shame, garments of sin, garments of pride. Maybe it's garments of the past. Just this umbilical cord of pain that's attached to your past. We're believing that that umbilical cord is going to be cut in half.
Under that tent, come May 1st to the 3rd in Jesus' name. Amen. And Leslie, I want to thank you for the call. It looks like we've got a, it says a Rick or a Frank out of Burlington. Yeah.
Hey, is it Frank? Hey, brother, how has the resurrection changed your life, brother?
Okay, so I I think that I knew Jesus all my life, but I didn't know him, I just knew about him. The one till I actually Got the nose that He what he endured. Not just on the cross, but it started before the cross, just the agony in Gethsemane. The uh the the stripes from the flag room, you know, from the from the Roman scourging. True talk by hand.
You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com.
All right, guys, we are back for the last segment and I want to apologize. I had people texting me saying that they could not get through. We've just had so many callers today. And Jacob, I see that as a good thing, man. How about you?
Absolutely, man. We always say the more the merrier. Bring everyone. Tell everyone, bring everyone. That's right, man.
You talk about bringing everyone. I hope everyone comes to this revival. And guys, this is not just like a local thing. How many times have you been interviewed by CBN News? Yeah, I love those guys over there.
I don't know. It's going on five, six times now, and now it's starting to. touched different parts of our state.
Now in the political sphere, Congressman Mark Smith was just interviewed by them last week where he talked about that resolution that was signed dedicating our state back to the Lord. And that's now going all over the Internet and And it's also the first time I've ever seen myself. Through the lens of AI, too. People are trying to put their faces on my body and vice versa. And it's kind of weird.
So I don't know what's going on there. But if you see anything strange like that, you know, you heard it from me.
Well, Jacob, I've always heard that if you're ever going to be an original, you can count on people trying to copy you. That's right. That's right. Yeah, but once again, I want you to go ahead and give us the website because I'm sure there's people who are listening who not only want to come there, but they want to help you guys volunteer and do some stuff like that. What is the website?
Yeah, man. Thank you for that. It's whq dot org. WHHQ. org.
And I can tell you this, you know, So many people that have come to volunteer. with our crusades, with our ministry have they're now serving in many areas across the state, many of which have got on airplanes and gone overseas to be a part of our larger crusades in the nations. And so I'm really believing this, Michael, that we're going to see Evangelists rise up under that tent the same way we saw in Columbia, the same. Way we saw it in Spartanburg. But this, everything is kind of 10x, maybe even 100x because it's now statewide.
And so, if you're called to the nations, if you're called to preach the gospel to lost people. Or if you're just a believer that is on fire and you really don't know where to go, you really don't know what to put your hand to, come be a part of this. And I promise you, you won't regret it. The testimonies that we're hearing From under the tent are amazing. You can actually see some of those on our website now.
And we want you to be a part of it, man. Don't just sit on the church pew, let's get out of the church. and be the hands of feet of Jesus. And make disciples of all nations in Jesus' name. Amen.
And once again, the website is at WHHQ. Mm-hmm. Yes, sir. WHHQ. That stands for World Harvest Headquarters.
Or you could find Jacob Ebersoll. I follow him on Facebook and Instagram and TikTok and all that stuff. But, Frank, you were finishing your story. Go ahead.
Okay, so when I realized how much God loved us, that he would come in flesh. and endure all that punishment and then die on a cross. And then Get risen back to life. I realized But This is a real dodge. This isn't just some story.
It's not good moral lessons. He wants our lives. And so I was involved in sexual promiscuity and drugs. But 40 years.
Well when I Found Jesus and really got to know him. And realize that he rose from the dead and promised that all those who would follow after him would never die. Because he lives, we'll live forever. For the rest of our, you know, for the rest of forever with him. And well, I just couldn't resist that.
That was like that that's more that's better than any drug or any sexual encounter I could have ever you know, any thousand sex. sexual encounters and drugs that you could ever do.
So uh it's just not worth giving your eternal soul. To the devils that want to inhabit our bodies. And the day that I accepted Jesus Christ, I prayed and for real Three demons left out of my body that very day. Yeah. And I was forever changed.
I mean, it was just an immediate Overall change. I never even want it to go back to that mess that I was stuck in. Yeah, you know, somebody one time they asked a preacher, they said, Hey, you used to live a life of sin and debauchery and women and all this other stuff and drugs. And they said, Now you're saved and cleaned up. They said, Do you ever miss your old life of sin?
And the preacher gave a good response. He says, no. He said, this past Monday, I took out the trash, and I don't miss that trash because it stinks.
So, Frank, I want to thank you for the call. And that's a pretty powerful testimony, Frank. And it looks like we've got a Rebecca out of Iowa on the phone. Are you there, Rebecca? While we're waiting on Rebecca, Jacob, that's a pretty powerful story about how.
The demons even left him at that point.
So, and I'm sure you've seen some pretty dramatic experience as well. Is that right, Jacob? Yeah, yeah, man. And. Yes, I've seen that.
I could spend three hours with you on that from the nation, but also here in the States. What's interesting about His testimony, Michael. I wanted you to know, and everybody listening, that under the tenth, May 1st through the third, we are probably. Uh going to have A red wheelbarrow available there for people to bring. They're trash.
And lay it at the altar. And I don't know if we're going to be able to burn that stuff. You know, we've got to stay legal. But we're opening it up for everybody to bring those chains that are keeping you bound, those sins that so easily beset you. We're opening that altar up for you to bring that trash and take it out once and for all and never look back.
Yeah, you know, somebody should write a song where they say, turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in his wonderful face, and the things of this world will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace. And so we've got Rebecca on the phone now. She was probably just holding, but yeah, we can hear you now, Rebecca. But Rebecca, you just had a dramatic experience where your son was just in a coma, and you asked everybody to pray. What happened?
We did.
Well, we went far and wide, and we asked the saints of God to lift up our son who had. A medical emergency, like you said, he had an underlying condition, and we didn't weren't aware of it. And he ended up essentially crashing out, like his body was shutting down, and he went into a coma, and he had to be life-flighted. It was very dangerous, very scary. He's a teenager, and he never complains.
And so, we didn't know how bad he was feeling. And it was a very, very scary time, as any parent can imagine. But we have the good news on the praise report that after a day and a half. Um he woke up. He responded.
He's responding to treatment now, and we hope to have him home tomorrow from the hospital. We're very, very excited, relieved and glorifying God.
So for us, resurrection means hope. Um ultimately that because he lives, we also shall live. And that we have that power, that we can go to the Almighty God who is in charge over sickness and over death.
Okay. Oh, death, where is your sting? Oh, grave, where is your victory? And I tell you what, if you want to, and Rebecca, you actually have a radio program. You may want to interview Jacob on your program.
I'm telling you. I'm just telling you. Yeah, let's do that. Let's do connections. Yeah.
Yeah. So let's hop on over right now. I'll see you over there. Yeah, but Rebecca has it. What's the name of your program, Rebecca?
Oh, I do I do two podcasts, Faith Works Live and then I do Faith Works Weekend as well. And we're all about getting biblical and digging into the Word and showing our faith through our works.
Well, I tell you what, and Rebecca, one of the things that I know you're excited about is obviously evangelism. And Jacob Ebersoll has a heart for evangelism. And so, you know, I'm excited about his crusade on May the 1st through the 3rd. Is that right, Jacob? Mm.
Yes, man. And I'd be excited to join you, Rebecca, and you're also welcome to come and join us. I know that'll be kind of a long trip for you, but it'll be worth it. As long as the airplanes were come out. In the in the Spartanburg crusade, it was wild.
I I uh that was last year and it blew me away when I ask people where they're from. And they came in from Texas and from Florida and from all over the country. And we're really excited about this one being the same with with twenty five cities and counting involved. And I know I know this sounds like a big event and exciting, and I'm all for that, but I do want everybody listening to know that. No matter how big this is, no matter what we're, you know, how big the tent gets.
We're doing this for the one, and we will always do this for the one. uh in the back row that feels like they're hopeless and broken. And we're inviting people from all over the state, the upstate, the midlands, to PD to Low Country. To come be a part of this gospel crusade. I do believe it's shifting things here in the state, brother.
And I don't just make statements like that lightly. And that's not because of one ministry, it's because we've decided as the body of Christ here in South Carolina, I believe. That we're not taking no for an answer. We are declaring that South Carolina belongs to Jesus and shall be washed in the blood of the Lamb. And we are going to do this, excuse my language, come hell or high water.
for the sake of our children, the sake of our future, and for the sake of our families. That's right. I heard a story years ago about a preacher who was having a really tough time in his life. And he said, You know, how can I preach at a church when I'm going through a divorce, my finances are in the tank, and everything else is going wrong? And just at that point, when he was saying this to himself, it was an Easter morning, they were driving by a cemetery, and all of a sudden, there was a grave that had been emptied out.
And they didn't realize his son didn't realize that they had dug up the grave. But his son said this: He said, One got away, Daddy, one got away. And I tell you what, thank God, 2,000 years ago, that one got away. Jesus Christ.
