This is the Truth Network. Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth then. I can't hide it. A daily program powered by the Truth Network.

This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Is radio?

A dinosaur?

something lumbering towards extinction, or Is it more like a rooster still waking up people every morning? Doctor Date the word Carson and myself just got back from the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, the NRB, where podcasters, streamers, YouTube, AI creators, app developers, and every digital platform imaginable was gathered. And yet, guess what? Radio. Still there, front and center, still broadcasting as I did many hours while I was here, still reaching into cars, kitchens, job sites, hospital rooms.

Right? Everybody talks about algorithms right now, but radio. It doesn't have one, dog. It is Providence.

So The question we would love to ask, you know, is we've pondered this and Doc was asked this point blank. As he went and visited some folks right after the NRB, like, why would you go do anything with radio? What's up with that?

So here's our question for you. We would love, you know, this is a live show and you guys make it up.

So. Has God ever used a radio broadcast to speak to you at exactly the right time? Moment. Has God ever used a radio broadcast, right? That just spoke to you in a moment where, oh my goodness, and that.

is Providence, by the way, folks. It's not an algorithm, it's not that. 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share. 866-388-8484-848- The number to dial 866-348-7867. Eight, eight, four.

Has God? ever used a radio broadcast to speak to you? at exactly the right moment. Of course, Doc, I I can tell you lots of stories. Yeah.

about people that literally were saved. Um by radio broadcast that was completely providential. I mean, we're in the radio business, and so we do hear those stories. We want to hear from listeners, their stories now. And but radio, and I was, and as we talked about this show today, coming out of the NRB and last week, we were telling you from the floor what was happening with the NRB as we interviewed different people.

And it was such an incredible convention of so many people with. All dreams. How can I get the gospel to this generation? Hearing young people with their passion, older people with their passion, got to get the gospel to our generation using every available means.

Well, then I leave from Nashville, go to Atlanta for our celebration of a ministry that's at 40 years. And when it was over, I'm sitting with a guy and he said, Hey, you got here late. I said, Yeah, I came in from Nashville from the NRB. And he said, The NRB? He said, Are you involved with radio now?

And I said, I am. He said, Boy, this is providential, Robbie. He goes, I. I've got a ministry, and they're talking to me about maybe getting with radio, and I want to know. Is radio something that's still viable?

And I said, you better believe it. And so that's why then let's debrief today about what's happening with radio in our listeners' lives. Yeah, and I Came in this morning to this email from Mike Carbone, RCOO, and He said, let this sink in and enjoy this from This lady and and as you hear more about the story, you'll see why it sinks in because it it it's from a lady in Indiana that wrote us and she said, For over a year, I've been listening to your station. That is all I listen to, and I day and night. Yes, I have your station on at night to help me sleep and during the day to be refreshed.

I stumbled on your radio station accidentally and have been listening ever since. I tell others about your station, but they say they can't get it. But somehow, God. Let's it get to me. and my bedroom and my kitchen radios.

I'm so thankful for your station and I hope it is never taken down. I lost my husband after almost sixty five years of marriage.

So your programming fills my lonely hours. I will be ninety. And just Let's see, I won't be 90. and I just still live alone. Again, thank you for being there for me day and night.

I would really miss you if I could not hear your broadcast. I do not know which is my favorite program, for I like them all. Trusting God. Jenny in Indiana. I mean, how amazing, right?

Like, she might be listening right now. Hi, Jenny. I got to tell you somebody else who listens that I've gotten letters from, and it always warms my heart tremendously. Inmates. Yes.

Right? They can't get cell phones, and they can't get computers. But a lot of them have just transistor radios. in prison and they can't get any outside media. But again, when you're looking for hope...

And if you were incarcerated and you found God through some prison ministry or something, like, oh my goodness, what a joy it is to find a Christian. broadcast. Like it's so far from a dinosaur. I like the rooster idea, Doc. Yeah, I was thinking about that.

I mean, I I grew up on a farm and was awakened many a mornings with a rooster. And and then I I that that really brought me back to when we moved from alarm clocks to having the radio be part of the alarm clock. Clock radio. Clock radio. And so uh that's how my wife wakes up every day.

Really? Yeah, she still uses the clock radio and you never know what song you're gonna get. Um When alarm goes off, which is kind of like a trendy thing.

Well, you're tuned to the truth. You don't know what sermon you're going to get. You mean the change? That's right. Mike in Dayton, Ohio.

We need you. 866-348-7884. The number to call, 866-348-7884. Mike, what say you, my friend?

Well, um So let's see, about seven, well no, five years ago, four years ago. I started losing the Truke Talk Live and um Maybe, maybe less than that, but anyways. Uh Stu. Stu Everson said something to me while I was giving the testimony about something, which that doesn't matter. Um he said to me, Instead of doing things for God, do things with God.

And man, did that stick to me Oh. That stuck to me so, so, so much. And uh If it wasn't for radio, I was listening to uh You know, another radio show, and they always had politics all the time. And I was listening to politics, this and that, politics, and it would get me angry, you know. I mean, more than I understand.

Yeah. And so I started, oh, I came across Stu Everson and the Truth Talk Live, and it was, it was a, it was a godsend, really. And when I was listening to that, he would talk about politics, but he would talk about it in a way of. What God was doing with politics and how we should be as Christians. Yeah, how we should be as Christians.

And And then, you know, I was given, I don't know, I was given a testimony. He was asking for testimony. And then he said, you know, to me, you know, that that scene. And Boy, did I it stuck to me and I listened to Truth Talk Live. regularly We know since that day.

And we appreciate it. We do, Mike. And we appreciate your menu testimony. Right. Yeah, it's been fun.

And it's been fun. And I look forward to it during the day. You know what I mean? I look forward to it. I don't always call in, you know, but I call in often.

And I only call in because God wants me to, and this is one of those times. And um God is really really through Truth Network and through this show. Has gotten me really close to God over the years. It just sharpened me. Um That's beautiful.

Yeah. The radio. The radio alone has sharpened me. It really did. It sharpened me.

I was a Christian all my life, but here's their music. Thank you, Mike, for your testimony, as all, buddy. Always amazing. How about you out there? We need your calls.

866-348-7884. I can hardly wait. I really can, Doc, to hear. Man, there's the story about the cat. We're not going to miss that one.

We'll be right back. Stay tuned. Truth talks. Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today the question.

Is radio a dinosaur? Or is it A rooster. That brought back memories of growing up. We would love it. We loved it.

We would love your comment. Oh, we had Chris and we lost him. Call us back, Chris, 866-3487884. 866-348. 7884, the number to call in and share.

You know, that idea, like we've been to the National Religious Broadcasters Convention. A lot of people think, well, what are you doing? Radio is, well, if you're driving in a car and you're listening to the radio, it's pretty impressive to see what God is still doing. And let me just tell you the story about the cat. I told Doc there's a story.

You've got to hear it. Listener in Utah, she was a member of the LDS Church, Latter-day Saints, Mormon by some people's standard. And She's listening to her radio there in Salt Lake City, and her cat. jumps on her radio for whatever reason. And when he does, he bumps the knob, and guess what station he turns it to?

The truth station in Salt Lake City. That's my guess. Yes, absolutely. And as I recall, A.M. 820.

At this moment in time, it just so happened that John MacArthur was preaching And literally this lady was saved. As a result of her cat turning her radio station. To John MacArthur and on the Truth Network. Pretty impressive. We got Chris in Virginia.

So, Chris, you are on Truth Talk Live.

So excited you called us. Thank you. What you got for us, Greg? I absolutely love Christian talk radio, especially all the Bible studies. I've got at least about seven notebooks.

filled with Bible studies that I've sat down and written with along with um Christian Radio Bible study. That's awesome. That's what discipleship's about, right? You get so hungry, and here you got all these amazing teachers. that you can get that information.

So does one come to mind lately that you really loved, Chris? I have a wealth of them.

However, I love hearing People are Um, like Les Feldic in the morning. Um I love hearing Dr. Sproul. I mean, just there's just so many good ones that are teaching straight from the Word of God. All right.

I'm so worthy of Chris. It's fascinating. I was telling Dr. Carson here last week when we were at the NRB, it was my 19th, and the very first one I ever attended was in Um, within Florida it it's you know, it actually in um Tampa and excuse me in um Or land uh And I shared a booth with RC Sprole. Of course, I was.

You know, completely a rookie, and there he is. And I'm like, that's RC Sprul. Look, he's right there. And I was so excited. I was like, man, I know he's been going to be with the Lord now, but I'll never forget, like, because you'd been listening to him on the radio all these years.

The first time I met David Jeremiah or any of those people, I was like, that's the Lord sure used him. Oh, man. Still using him to minister to Christians. Oh, and I have another dear friend, a dear friend. Who was led to the Lord by Jay Vernon?

Isn't it Jay Vernon McKee walk through the Bible? Oh, man. I mean, yeah. That was the first person that first started. That was through his ministry.

Right. And there he is from the grave, just leading people to Christ. And, of course, you know, it's amazing. Yes, I love him. I even donate to the ministry, and I get booklets and stuff.

I mean, it's just wonderful to have radio with the um With the proliferation of smartphones, you get a lot of people that just won't listen to radio anymore. And it's sad. It is. It is. We got Adrian Rogers, right?

You know, where do you get another Adrian? Is that voice? Yeah, well, here we here we have people in heaven: Adrian Rodgers, Charles Stanley, uh, R. C. Sproul, John MacArthur.

They're all in heaven, yet they're still speaking because they did these radio ministries and um. I I still remember the day, the first time I ever heard Chuck Swindahl. And I'm in a home, the radio's on, and all of a sudden, seven o'clock. And I hear this music. And then here's Chuck Swindahl.

And I don't I don't I don't know about you, Chris, but I just I started taking notes on Chuck Swindahl. I'm telling you, I learned so much from that man. I have many written notes from him from studying the word with him via radio. That's beautiful. Many notes.

So yes, I'm I'm a Bible student. I just love studying the Word of God.

So where are you in Virginia? Norfolk, Virginia, and I must warn you, it's a sickening Sickeningly Um Liberal state. Yeah. You know, we were just Chris, we were just sitting both of us right next to Colleen, who works for the Truth Network. She is the manager of your station up there.

Just a wonderful, godly woman who helped us both a lot when we were in. And but um She works for Del Marva, which is that group of stations up there, and we're so grateful. Um for that station that you're listening to up there and and for people like you out there supporting it, Chris. Yes, I tend to support where I feed from. And these great pastors uh uh that that minister the word.

Every now and then, when I can afford to, and I encourage everyone: if you're feeding from these ministries, and you're learning in the word to please support them. Yeah, it means the world. It means the world.

Well, Chris, thank you for your call. It means so much to us that you did that.

So you keep studying, my friend. And God loves it. I know He's smiling up there as you're testifying. God be with you, brother. God be with you, Chris.

God bless. 866, the number to call, because we know you want to. Tell us who your favorite is or how you react with radio. I mean, what's your thoughts? 866.

We know we're singing to the choir to some extent. To some extent, yes. 866-348-7884-866-3666. Three, four, eight. 7884 and you know my own life I like there's no doubt That long before Truth Network existed because, you know, Stu Came to me actually.

Um you know, what I probably a year before he he he started this station and asked me, 'cause we were good friends, and he says, Robbie, what would you think about a format that was nothing but teaching and talk twenty four seven, no music, just teaching and talk? And I said, dude, that's all I listen to. I have to change channels, all these other ones, in order to get that. But I would love for there to be a radio station that was just teaching and talk 24-7. And so at the time, I was a Chrysler dealer in Moxville.

And he said, well, would you sponsor it? I said, you know it. And so actually, I was one of Stu's first sponsors.

So I was connected to the Truth Network before I ever. Um but but that's because Man, I I can't. tell you the joy. Of sensing God in the car with you as you're learning something new in His Word that. Like, man, it comes alive.

Yeah. You know, I'm trying to think of the name of the Scottish pastor. He blows me away all constantly. Alastair Begg. Alistair Begg.

Oh my gosh. Like You know, just think of those moments, and then you go home and you tell your family or your friends that have you ever seen this in the scriptures? Like, man. It's so valuable. We live in such a wonderful time.

We really do. of being able to be fed, as Chris said, fed. the Word of God in multiple ways. I don't look at what we do with radio to be an alternative to the pastor in church. No.

That's a component on Sundays. Usually, on Sundays, everybody needs to be a part of a local church. You know, I know one of my members told me, You're going to love this talk. She said, She hadn't come last week, and I actually went to see her.

So, this week she came in and she goes, Well, I'm going to be honest, it was windy and it was cold and it was sort of raining. I wasn't going to come. But I was listening to this pastor on TV, and he said, If you can physically make it in any way, shape, and form, you need to be in church. Yes. And I couldn't agree with that man more.

That there's fellowship and community and all those things you get from church and find a place to serve. I mean, that's part of the deal, too. But I am grateful for all that God taught me. Um and continues to teach me, actually. Right through the Truth Network.

So 866-348-7884-9 to hear from you. 866-34 TRUTH. We'll be right back. Uh Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today we're talking about radio.

Is it a dinosaur lumbering towards extinction or is it a rooster? Cockadoodle, waken people up, you know, to the gospel. I mean, it's an amazing opportunity we have to talk about that today. What has been your experience? Was there some moment?

That to that Providentially radio touched you at exactly the right time with exactly the right message. You know, maybe if you're under 40, do you still listen to the radio? Maybe you want to call in and tell us that. 866-6696. 3487884, 86634 Truth.

Do you think something is lost? when everything becomes on demand because Sometimes with radio, right? You We think we want to hear one thing, but God thinks we need to hear something else. And so, you know, we don't necessarily with on-demand, you know, you don't get what. Providence may have for you, that kind of thing.

There are so many radio stations offering so many different things Um but As my friend was asking, should I look at radio as a way of, he has a family ministry, he wants to help parents be the best they can be. And I said, there is a market for that. And that's a word that we have to use. But there's a lot of parents out there that need great biblical teaching. And through the radio, that's one of them.

I think Focus on the Family did really well of helping a lot of families. And during the NRB, there were quite a few times they took time to honor Jim Dobson. And Focus on the Family is still going. And, you know, there's another way that while we have radio, movies are being used now to impact people's lives. And we use radio then to advertise, let people know their movies you need to be thinking about going to see.

Black Adventures and Odyssey. Speaking of focus on the family, right, they have a big, huge blockbuster movie coming out. The first ever. Adventures in the audio a young wit is gonna take quite a ride. It looks like we saw a few seconds of that and I'm trying to think of the name of it, Doc.

Um But it's Adventures and Odyssey. You can count on that if you go to their website. I bet it's all over it. It's coming out, I understand, in May. And then April the third, it's going to be the release of A Great Awakening about George Whitfield.

And we uh had had the uh director on Truth Talk Live Thursday. And uh I'm looking forward to that one. But again, radio. Is it an avenue today? that you would look to to hear from God.

We want to hear from you, your calls, 866-348-7884. Give us a call here. As we think about this powerful tool Jerry Fall will made the statement that he felt we were supposed to use every available means. to get the gospel to our generation. And for him, it was TV, radio early on.

I remember as a child, I mean, probably five or six. Hearing Jerry Falwell on the radio at 6:30 in the morning as we went to a tobacco field, and there was that AM radio station, WBRG, in Lynchburg, Virginia, had Jerry Falwell on it. And that's some of my early memories of hearing him preach and calling for, let's pray right now. And I would bow my head to pray when he made that call, Robbie, on the radio. Let's pray together right now.

I hope you weren't driving. No, no, no, no. Not at five. Not at five. The truck, at least.

No, I understand. Yeah, I mean. But I I you know The beauty of being in it and around it, for you know, you hear these testimonies, not only of clearly people coming to Christ, but people hearing a pastor. On the radio, and they happen to be in the neighborhood of his church. And that's the idea of a local radio station: often you have local pastors.

And then, oh my goodness, they find their way to that church. And in that church, They may meet the love of their life, their husband, right? And you hear, we hear those stories of, or they, you know. ended up, you know, bringing their whole family and somebody in their family ends up, you know, coming to Christ and being baptized. And of course, you know, God used radio in so many different ways.

And that's what we are dying to hear. in your life, you know? How is it a rooster? Or how is it a dinosaur? How is it...

Yeah, maybe you think it's time for radio to end. Let's just move on with the other podcast, things like that. 866-348-7884, 866-348-7884. And clearly, you know, we are embracing everything we can embrace is the Truth Network now. We have streaming services on apps, on phones, where a lot of people pick up the Truth Network through their app.

And we get calls, no doubt, often from people that are listening in other markets that didn't have a radio. Um, and they're and I can tell you that I've reached gobs of people in India by accident. I didn't know that you could have that kind of influence with a podcast, but it does. It does. I did a podcast once on the wonder of milk, right?

I just, when God gives me something, I would just sit down in front of a mic and record it. I just did a little podcast on the wonder of milk.

Well, I look at my podcast numbers and they're going crazy. It turns out that India is very interested in the wonder of milk, and I became extremely popular in India and am to this day. Um As a result of Providence, like God put it on my heart to do the wonder of milk. And for whatever reason, you know, that title. Um Caught on, and the way you go.

So I realize that there's lots of different ways that God can reach out. I I like what you often say about availability. I think that's what you need. No. Use every available means possible.

And to our listeners, if you haven't downloaded the Truth Network app, do so. Have it on your phone because I travel a lot. I'm in a lot of areas, there is not a truth network station. I don't have to worry about that. I just go right to my phone.

I'm listening to it right there. Off the app, my daughter in Pennsylvania, Shippensburg. We don't have a radio station in Shippensburg. They can't listen to the Truth Network. Yes, they can.

You can listen to it on your computer. My daughter's telling me: if I'm at home, I'm listening to it on the computer. What a new world we live in.

So, there's so many different ways for you to get God's word into your life. And we're not saying that you got to listen 24/7. To the truth network to get all the truth there, because I do like to listen to some music as well. But no. But I'm telling you, what a great way to enhance your spiritual life.

And that's what Christian. Radio is about enhancing your spiritual life. There's evangelism. There's edification. There's encouragement.

And then there's the equipping component. And I think that's what Chris was saying for him. He was finding tremendous equipping from the Word of God as he listened to these different preachers. But in live radio, you have a voice. Yes.

Right, which is what we do here at True Talk Live. You have the ability to call in and voice your opinion. Like Maybe you feel like President Trump shouldn't have spoke to the Supreme Court the way he did. Or maybe you think whatever it is, you have a voice, right, that you can call in and share. And that's something that radio does that to me was extremely Um valuable to get some points of view.

No, I needed to have in other words. if if you don't listen to other people, you never get their point of view. Never do you understand where they come from, where they're coming from.

So you hear these people going on and on. And I remember when we were asking people in the presidential election, Uh about Um Kamala Harris. And we had some wonderful calls that really supported her, and we really could see where they were coming from and why they're coming from there. And I think it's an amazing place to exchange ideas. And so maybe you have some of those ideas and you want to call us at 866-348-7884, Doc.

Yeah, when you think with we have Alex McFarland. He's talking about the different Christian worldviews. And it is, it's a place to dialogue. And if you didn't have that, I can do a little bit with a T V show. I'm on some that they'll have call-ins.

But it's far easier with a radio show to have those kind of, all right, I'm thinking this, what are you thinking? And that would be another big bonus for me on why we keep having radio. Yeah, yeah. And I would say that for those who may not be aware, that Truth Talk Live is a true live radio show. Yes, we are live right now.

Yeah, yeah. If you call, you're talking to us. And so, you know, certain radio shows, I won't mention any names, but there used to be a famous car one. that that used to actually advertise in my show. And they sounded very live, but the truth was that They recorded all their conversations and played back the good ones.

And so, if you hear something that sounds too good to be, well, chances are, yeah, they're screening out the stuff that's a little more difficult. But the beauty of the thing is, we don't screen out a thing at Truth on Truth Talk Live. I mean, if they call in, of course, if they say anything off the off the You know, that they shouldn't be saying on the air. We have a 10-second delay to make sure that that never makes it to your ears. But anything else, believe me, we want your views, we want your opinions, and that's part of why we do have this live show.

And we would love for you to call it 866-348-7884. You know, so we think about A guy asking should he get involved with radio? Um The outreach. Robbie. Is Unknown.

And I think that's some things you've been teaching me. I I j I just don't know when I do date the word. We have that date the word moment. I don't know.

Well, you talk about trusting God. Um, okay, how's this gonna? And then, next thing I know, I have someone who sends me a text message.

Someone will see me and say, Hey, I heard you on the radio. You're trusting God with this avenue. And for years now, God has provided this way through the airways. To get his message to people all around the world, for you, India. But Trans World Radio, my goodness, all the people have been able to hear the gospel in their language because of all the work that has been done there.

Oh, I did that interview with the young lady from Sat 7. out of Lebanon, and they have radio stations that right now are broadcasting into Iran.

Well, people in Iran don't have any internet because they shut it off. Right? That's right. And so the only way those people write this minute, and the same thing with certain parts of Cuba and other areas where nothing is transmitted via internet because the government at hand blocks it off. What can get in there when nothing else can?

You can't stop radio signals. It's coming. We would love, love, love to hear your voice, what you're thinking. 866-348-7884. Is radio a dinosaur or a rooster?

Welcome back to Truth Talk Live. Today's question is radio. A dinosaur?

Or is it a rooster waking people up and they're listening to This programming every day and You know, the the question I love I love that question, you know, when has radio hit you right between the eyes. And you know, what happens to me And I bet you've happened to you, is the Holy Spirit just goes, cuth lamb. And next thing you know, you're crying so much. Because something that was taught to you you know, convicted you or taught you something. You know, by David Jeremiah or Chuck Svindahl, whoever said it.

And I don't know that it matters. All I know is the Holy Spirit just hit me between the eyes, and I literally have pulled over on many, many, many occasions because something spoke to me exactly the moment that God wanted me to hear it. We would love to hear that from you. 866-348-7884. 866-348-7884.

Our lives are. You know, you got whatever time is available to you. And to me, it has been an amazing way. Two I guess You know, listen to God's word. Listen to the teaching of God's word while at the same time I had to get to.

You know. work or I had to get to, you know, some meeting, you know, whatever it is. But man, you jump in the car and so what do you do? What do you reach for first? You reach for radio, podcast.

W w what are you going for, Doc? Yeah, I as soon as I get in, uh it I'm on uh Serious FM. uh right off the bat but uh i'm going to 97.7 For me, when I'm driving home, because David Jeremiah is going to be on, Alistair Begg's going to be on, and there's just something about going home. hearing the word of God. There's it's just I don't I don't know.

This hopefully may be a teachable moment here, but there's something about leaving work and putting God's word into your mind as you head to the home. I would hit get home and I'm more refreshed. The things of the work are behind me. Um Uh There were days that for me now would pop in a John Maxwell tape as I was driving home as well, but it was always good to hear.

Someone teaching God's word, and as you're listening here on Truth Network, right now, Truth Talk Live, right after this show, there's going to be good Bible teaching. Fill your mind and let that word of God start transforming. Turning point. David Jeremiah. Yes.

Five o'clock. What a gift. And we got to see him when we were at the NRB. Last week, and quite an interview that was done. It was a neat, neat, neat event.

And I don't want to keep anybody from their call because we've got a few minutes left. 866-348-7884. 866-348-7884. Uh David Jeremiah 1. The steward Epperson, Sr.

Award for Christian Radio Excellence from Salem Broadcasting. And so. You know, Stu's father. Certainly, a legend in Christian radio on so many levels, and one of the neatest people you'd ever meet. Um You know, they gave David Jeremiah that award, and then they spent probably, what, 45 minutes with deep questions that they asked him about.

If he could go back as his younger self, what were some of the things he might change about what he did? And I've talked about what he said, you know, how he wanted to be remembered, but But I love that he said on that question, on w if he could go back, He said, I would learn to trust God more and be a bit more patient. And he went on to tell the story on how he wanted to renew the sanctuary there at Coral Ridge. Or I'm not saying it right. Whenever the church in San Diego, and it went on for years and years.

But as it turned out, it made him think about digital media and I.E. radio that helped grow that.

So we got Tim is in Ohio. Tim, you're on Truth Talk Live, my friend. Hi. Hi, what do you got for us?

Well, I remember just a couple weeks ago. I was alone in my workshop. And all of a sudden, and this is late at night. I just let the Holy Spirit speak. One of my sisters in Christ named to me just her first name, Jackie.

Yeah. Yeah, so So I rest out too. I my sister Because Jackie and I asked her, I said, Are you in the word by any chance right now? And I was actually in the word at the time. She said, no, but I should be.

And I said, Well, the Lord Can I sub page? You know, the spirit guided me. You guys said that. I said, I just wrote s wrote a piece of scripture I said and for whatever reason, I just called you. And maybe I'm supposed to share it with you or I don't know us and so I told her the scripture.

And she broke down into tears because She was actually Going through uh hidden struggles, you know, that nobody knew of. Mm. And that scripture And the timing others You wisdom. you know coming to her Well pressed Actually, exactly what she needed. Right, God's providence right there, and you got to be part of that.

How fun was that?

Well That was that was just as funny as the first time she and I had a similar thing because I was looking for a King James Version study Bible. And I wanted one that wasn't highlighted or marked up, you know, just was my own, you know, to. And I had mentioned it to uh one or two other people. Away from Jack. And Jackie hadn't even heard of it.

They hadn't mentioned it to her. She knew nothing of this. And she just happened to be in a good will. And saw a Bible, and she said God spoke to her and told her that Tim needs that Bible. Wow.

So, is that the same Bible that you used to give her the scriptures? As a matter of fact, I hadn't even thought about that, but as a matter of fact, it exactly is. That's awesome. She gives you a Bible so you can give her a word from the Bible. I love it.

That's beautiful, Tim. I love it. Absolutely. God's hand all over that one. If you miss it, you know, you really miss something.

And I really think that's a gift. It's a gift to see. I have ju I have you know Projects like that have just Yeah, and I just kinda coined the phrase in my own head for my own use. You know, when the Holy Spirit, from now on, when the Holy Spirit tells me to jump. I don't stop to ask how hot.

I just jump as high and far as I can. Yeah man, and he'll help you jump. They went When we obey God's spirit like that, far lands of mountains that we could Jump over. And that we never knew. I know.

I just wanted to hear that. Oh, you did. And when you actually get to be part of somebody else's blessing, whatever that looked like. Right? That's the that's the ultimate like man.

So I am so grateful, Tim, that you dialed our number and uh that you got that Bible and now you're still working on it.

So God bless you, my friend. Keep up the good work. Where do you live in Ohio?

Well, I live in Lakeview.

Alright. Lake View, which lake are you got a view of? Lake Erie? No Indian Lake. Indian Lake.

Really? Is that a pretty big lake? Nothing. That's the exercise. Yeah, it's a yeah, it's a pretty good size lake.

Oh, that's cool, man.

Well, thank you for calling, Tim. You keep up the good work out there, my friend. God bless. Thank you. You too.

All right. Bye-bye.

So, you got a couple minutes left. We would love to hear from you, your testimony. You can see how exciting is that, man? 866-348-7884-866-348. three four eight seven eight eight four That that's one of the most cool, like, fan.

Right. Yeah, you have those moments and and God just puts that impression upon you. and you share with somebody. I'm not trying to cram God's word down your throat, but I am believing he's got a word for you. And uh I told someone today um Someone had sent them a text message.

With some scripture, and they sent it to me saying, You're not gonna believe what just got sent to me. And I said, You got a good word from God's word.

Well, it's just like what you do with date the word, right? Yeah. So God gives you that. And then you get on the radio and say today is February 23rd.

So 223. Exodus. And then God hits somebody between the eyes with Exodus 2.23. And Exodus 2.23, the people are calling out to God because they're in misery. and God hears their groanings.

And I just try to convey today with Exodus 2.23 that I don't know what you're needing to cry out to God about, but know that he is listening. He's not only listening, he will say this to you. I see you.

Well, my rabbi friend, I was doing this recording today with him, and he shared this out of First Kings. I bet you know the scripture, but he was talking about Solomon's where he dedicated the temple. And God said That where the people that build his sanctuary, he will dwell in the midst of them. Yes. And what he went on to describe, he said.

That doesn't mean He says in the midst of them. Inside of them he will dwell. Yeah. Is what that he said when you look deeply into the words that isn't. And So and and it isn't That idea of just Jewish people It's anybody who builds.

The sanctuary.

Well, our heart's the sanctuary. Right. And as God builds that with you, as you accept Christ and whatever, he will dwell in the midst, in the middle of. Is that beautiful? We are in Christ and Christ is in us.

That is the Christian story. I love it. And we get a chance to share it on the radio. And we're so grateful for all of you listening today. Of course, we'll be back with more Truth Talk Live tomorrow.

As I recall, we're going to be talking about a big event coming up this weekend.

So stay tuned.
