This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what. Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Hey, this is Michael Zwick, man.

We've got a show for you today. The topic is: what is your most amazing Jesus experience? When is a time when God, and we could say it another way, when is a time when God has really showed up for you? But what is the experience that you have in your whole life? Where it really shows you that Jesus really came through.

And I can give you an example. We want your calls, but I'll give you some examples.

So, in my own life, There have been times where I absolutely knew that God was speaking to me. There was a time when I was 26, 27 years old back in 2008.

So I gave my age away, but. During that time, I had a folder. And I was a born-again Christian. I was walking with the Lord, but my friends started to think that I was crazy. You know, Mike, aren't you taking this Jesus thing a little too seriously?

And so one day I just happened to be at home. It was in my mom's house that time, and I had a notebook, and I, or it was a folder, and I opened up the folder. And I needed some more disclosure forms. It was a company called Columbian Financial Group. And I opened it up, and there was only one form left, and I needed more.

But more importantly than needing more forms, I needed to hear from God. I needed to know that God was real. And so, what I did. Was I opened up the folder and I said, God, show me something. There was one sheet of paper.

I close the folder. I opened up the folder again. And there were now two sheets of paper in that folder. And me being full of faith, of course, I closed the folder again and I said, God, would you please show me one more time? And I opened the folder again, and there were now three sheets of paper.

And it's funny, up after that point in my life, I've had tough times. I've had times that were trying. I've been through so much stuff, and I'm sure you have too, if you're listening. But I never doubted God again, and I always trusted in Him because He showed Himself to me.

So, what is your most amazing Jesus story? We've got somebody from South Carolina on the phone right now. Are you there? Are you there? I am, if you're speaking of me.

I am. Is this Sandy? It surely is.

Okay, we've got Sandy from is it Hannahan, South Carolina? Hannah, hands out to Anna. Yes, sir. Sandy, what is your most amazing Jesus experience?

Well, it kind of comes in a little bit Into two parts because the first part is when I wasn't, I was walking but not walking. I knew but didn't know. I was in, we have a grocery store down here called the Piggly Wiggly. And I was in line, and there was an African man in front of me, and he only had one or two items. He saw me, and he said, You go ahead.

I said, Oh, no, sir, I have much more than you. He said, No, I want you to go ahead. And so he's standing behind me, he says, I know what you're going through with your children and I'm looked at him because I have two boys and they were in high school at the time and I was trying to figure out how to be sane. Men driving cars, doing this, doing that. And he said, I know what you're going through, but you've got to get them back in church and you've got to be faithful.

He said your obedience is the most important key. And I said, thank you for that. And I turned to pay. And when I turned back, I saw him going down an aisle and I went to find him. And he wasn't down that aisle.

I looked at a small store, so I can cover it in 2.2 seconds. Went down all the aisles, looked outside, and he wasn't there. And I looked up and I heard God tell me. You met Jesus at the Piggly Wiggly. Oh, wow.

And so, you know, I went on about my Merry Way. I took it with a. Instead of taking it, get on my knees and bow before my Lord with a grain of salt. And I didn't, you know. I didn't pour into that but like I should have.

So he He waited a while and I kept asking him, you know, I'm getting older, guy, what do you have for me? What am I supposed to be doing here? You know, how am I supposed to serve you? And I am a Medicare benefits specialist as well as I do under 65 Health Insurance, and I'm sitting at an amphitheater in my city of Hannah, South Carolina, with my daughter-in-law Katie. And All of a sudden, the Lord speaks to me.

He says, You're going to do it here. I said, I just kind of looked at this guy because I'm like, What? you're going to have a revival here. And I started laughing and said, Yeah, all right. And he said, Not only that, you're going to have.

Daniel Adams, Greg Locke, and Pastor Henry Schaefer. I really started laughing then. I'm like, okay. And my daughter-in-law says, What are you laughing at, Oma? I said, God.

Why are you laughing at God?

So I told her. And she looked me dead in the eyes and said, I don't know, do you understand? If God said it, it's going to happen. And I said, oh, Snapdragon, she's right. Fast forward, God puts me in Nashville, Tennessee.

near Mount Juliet for about three months, where I was able to connect with Greg Locke and connect with Daniel Adams and connect with Um Henry Schaefer, through the relationships I built there. Long story short, we had. In May of 2023, a revival at the Hannah Han Amphitheater with 2,500 people.

Now, just before that happened, I got to tell you this part, this really important part about my faith and how I knew it was God. I know it's God. I know I hear from God and I know God speaks to me now. Is because where were we going to get the money for this thing? The stage stuff alone was like ten thousand, twelve thousand dollars.

Scale. And I I'm making Zoom calls. We're having Zoom meetings, and everybody's I'm saying it's coming, y'all. Don't forget to share the link for donations if somebody wants to donate. It's a free event.

One of the women picked up on something. I didn't say it. I hopefully didn't show it because I really wasn't fearful, but I was nervous. Right. And she called me and she said, I need you to meet me in Columbia, South Carolina.

I got a donation for you. I'm like, okay, so I figured I'm driving up there for a couple hundred bucks and thank you, Jesus, for every dime you send me. We get there, she hands me a kind bar, K-I-N-D, kind bar box, those small like five by four or four by something like that. And she said, Don't open it till you get home. I said, Yes, ma'am, I won't.

So I billy dally, leave it on the front seat of the car, go get my gas, do this, and get home. And I opened the box. And when I open that box, Okay, I try not to tear up when I say this, but there was thirteen thousand dollars in that box. donated from a woman who would not let me know who she was except for the fact that she is on disability, and God healed her from that disability, so she gives her disability money to people that God tells her to give it to, and God told her To give it to me so we could have his event at the Hannah Han Amphitheater. Yes, God does talk to me, and I'm so thankful for it.

Wow. You know what? That is an amazing story. And I'm reminded of Hebrews chapter 11, where it says that now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. A lot of times, Sandy, what people will do is what they'll say is they'll say, I will believe it when I see it.

But see, when it comes to faith, you believe it. And then you see it. And so God rewarded your, I'm sorry, what were you saying? I just said amen. Yeah, and so God rewarded your obedience.

But sometimes God stretches us a little bit. What do you think? Oh, yes, there have been a multitude of times where that has happened, and he took me on it. He's taken me on a road that I had no clue what I was getting into. He started this road at six years ago when Unfortunately, um My husband and I are for almost forty years divorced.

And I kept asking him what he had for me.

Well, he has sent me into the deliverance ministry. He trained me slowly but surely. He got me with Whom I call the master of making sure it gets done right, Pastor Henry Schaefer. I'll give him a plug, pastorhenry.info. And he, and I do deliverances all over the country.

I go for him with trainings all over the place. He takes my prayer partner, Sherry Russell, and I to places. That we don't even question anymore. We come across some hard stuff. I've come in contact with a fallen angel.

Who made me sick as a dog? I mean, there's things I could tell you that would make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, but through it all. Trials, yes, trials. Trials make us stronger. Trials crush us.

Trials bring the oil. If not, I think all sugar-coated, happy yay Jesus stuff. Jesus is working. Jesus is using us. And Sandy, we're about to go to our break.

I am back. And you know, the cool thing is, is that I've got a sherry. Out of South Carolina. Sherry, are you there? Yes, sir, I sure am.

Well, Sherry, you heard Sandy's story. I mean, that's a tough one to beat, but I'm going to ask you: what is your most amazing Jesus story, Sherry? Um Yeah. My most amazing story was I had gone to Christian Healing Ministries with Francis and Judith McNutt for a healing and deliverance weekend. And um It was Well, and I got it, I had an experience with Jesus.

So we gathered, and they were going to have a laying on of hands kind of ceremony. Remind you that I come out of an Episcopal and Anglican background.

So some of this almost is foreign to me. Not completely, but it it was different. And um That day, the Lord The Lord had told me to pack one dress. And I wore it that evening for that service. And the service started And Frances McNutt, who is now gone to be with the Lord.

Um He started the service. With A visualization, and he said, I want everybody to. Um visualize yourself. And let Jesus wash your feet because Jesus came. to serve, not be served.

And So I closed my eyes and sure enough, Jesus showed up. He showed up and he came over and knelt before me. and looked me in the eye with the most amazing love, And He washed My foot. He didn't have to say a word. I could just feel his love radiating.

From him. And then he he put that foot down and asked me to give him his other my other foot. And he washed my feet. And I remember just being Oh my gosh. I I was already I it overwhelmed.

With the love that he conveyed just with his eyes. He didn't have to say a word. So um The service hadn't even really begun. People started to line up and the two of them went down along with their team and laid hands on people and prayed over them. And everybody is resting in the Spirit.

And here I am in a dress. And I think to myself, oh Lord, you told me to wear this dress. I, please don't embarrass me. Please don't let me lay out on this floor and embarrass myself. Lord, please.

And so, um I I know he heard my prayer. The service continues and I'm in one of the last groups. I waited until the tail end. And um Before they even I had lined up and before they even start. I have this amazing vision.

of Jesus. um that he came to me in a well-groomed garden The garden was so vivid green that it hurts. It was greener than green. And it was a groomed garden, very much like you'd see in Europe, with hedges and. I I saw splashes of color where there were flowers and Um He comes over and he takes me by the hand.

And he starts to spin me around. And he takes both hands and starts to spin me. And as he starts to spin me, he starts to smile at me. And I smile back. And he continues to Um He throws his head back in laughter.

And of course I am laughing and smiling and I realize how much he loves me.

Well, I become so overwhelmed that I literally cannot contain being overwhelmed. And um Mm-hmm. I had had a cold that weekend. And um So Judas McNutt comes up. She lays hands on me.

Sh I I I vaguely heard her She took my head and she moved it around spinning like I was spinning in a circle. And I remember her praying for more. for more of God's presence. And um which the vision continued. And As I start to come out of the vision, my head is running.

I realize my whole face is like I'm just running. And there is a woman that hands me a tissue. And as she hands me the tissue to wipe my nose, I come out of the vision. And I look up and there is The most beautiful Black lady standing before me with steel gray eyes. And she looks at me.

And she says, Do you have any idea how much Jesus loves you? Wow. And I Took a deep breath, and I said, It is beyond my comprehension. Wow. Wow, so go ahead.

Okay. And that evening, I remember asking the Lord, what an amazing gift.

Now, I felt so overwhelmed with love that I thought my heart was going to break. I thought I was going to burst. I could not contain all of the love that he had poured into me. I just couldn't. It wasn't possible.

And I remember asking him, why was I so honored with this? Why on earth did he honor me with such an amazing experience? And he told me because I was to share that love, Because the world needs to know it. Amen. And did you did you know you'd be sharing it all across the country on the radio?

Yeah, like you'd not. Let me ask you this, because I mean, something like that has to change you. How did that change your life, Sherry? Oh gosh. Um Well, I trust him.

I leaned into him. It radically changed my belief. It radically changed my Ah, that's good.

Now, the world will try to tell me that I am not loved. That um That's what the enemy does. He comes at us and he tries to tell us we're not loved and we're not accepted and we're not good enough. And I go back to that vision. And I'm like, no, it is beyond what I can contain in this existence.

That God is so beyond what we Accept what we think about. We can't even concede. I only got an inkling. of who he is. Wow.

Wow. And so when we put him in a box and we try to contain him and we try to make him like us, well, he is not at all like us. He is beyond. Yeah, you know, the scripture says that greater love hath no man than this. Then he lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus loved us so much that he died on that cross, but that wasn't the end. He rose from the grave, and it says, For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Sherry, I want to thank you for calling in. Oh, thank you. All right, you're welcome.

What is your most amazing Jesus experience? You got a minute? I got a for you. I got five. Um this is about Fourteen years ago, My children were making paracord jewelry, and I went up to the feed store.

And then I asked the manager of the feed store if My kids can set up a table. And so and John, John, John, John, we're going to a break, but you don't want to miss this story from John when we come back from the break. John's been waiting a while, so this must be important. Okay, first of all, I want to say thank you for having me on the call, Mike. And secondly, I love Jesus. Amen. Amen. So, about 14 years ago, our pastor's wife wanted to go to Africa.

So my children, my daughter was eight, my son was 13, they wanted to raise money to help the pastor's wife go to Africa.

So I go down to the feed store around the corner and ask the I guess it was the owner manager if my kids could set up a table on Saturday and sell the jewelry they've been making. He said yes.

So Saturday morning we're down there. And people would come up to the table, and it wasn't me. The kids would say, Hey, is there anything we can pray for you for? And whatever it was, then Dylan and Sidney would pray for them. And so Eventually, this lady walked up to the table.

She was an elderly lady, and she looked so sad. And we asked her if we could pray for her. She said yes. And as she started to walk off, she looked at me and she said, follow me.

Okay. Okay. So she walked me out to her car, she opened up the trunk and she handed me a book called Heal the Sick. And she said, my husband and I wrote this book. He just passed away two months ago, and immediately I thought to myself, now I see why she's so sad.

She just lost her love. And so I thanked her for the book, told her I would read it, and we said goodbye.

So God directs our steps, right? You agree with that, Mike? 100%.

Well, that was on Saturday. Friday, six days later, I show up at our home church meeting, and guess what? She's there with a team. Yeah. Heal the sick.

Oh, wow. I was like, what?

So she goes through the whole thing We had a couple of healings, and after it was over, I walked up to her and I said, Hey, Can we do this at my house? And she looked up with the biggest smile and said, Yeah, win. I said, How about two weeks from tonight I'll invite people and uh what do you want me to do? She she says, Well, just Bring them over. I said, okay, we'll do a.

Uh uh potluck dinner.

So when she got the was about 20 something people in the in the house. We all ate dinner. She talked for about an hour and a half. We did the healings. And when she said when they were done, I asked her, Can we do it again?

And she said yes. And so I hosted the healing Um class in my home probably about eighteen, nineteen times. And I got her into churches and before long, she was apprenticing me. Wow. And after that, she passed away, and she gave me the last money in her checking account.

She wrote a letter saying that she turned her ministry over to me. She gave me everything, her books, her material, her copyrighted information that was still sealed. And I'm going to give you a couple of stories that are just kind of like my favorites.

Okay. I call them Adventures of Evangelism.

So I'm their fundraiser. And a friend of mine had asked me to come. He had a bluegrass band, and there was a woman sitting at the table with me. in a wheelchair while we were eating. And I looked over at her girlfriend who was sitting beside me between us, and I said, What happened to her?

He said she was in a really bad car wreck, but the surgeons screwed up her surgery. and she is worse off now than she was.

So she can't walk. And I said Okay, what is she looking at up at the stage so intently? She said, Oh, that's her boyfriend. I said, okay.

So I went outside and talked to the youth pastor and told him He was it was an Episcopal church. And I told him how God heals today and how God does miracles and God talks to people today. And this youth pastor was just all eyes and all ears, man. He was eating every word I said.

So after about twenty, twenty five minutes, I went back upside back inside And I walked up to this woman in the wheelchair. She was sitting out there on the floor looking at the stage, but her boyfriend wasn't up there anymore. And I walked up behind her and I said, Hey. Do you want to get healed and get out of that wheelchair? And she looked over her shoulder and smiled and said, Yes, I do.

I said, Well, let's go to the back of the room.

So she Rolled our wheelchair to the back of the room. And I asked her if she could stand, and she said, I can stand for a minute, but it's very painful. I said, Okay, go ahead, stand up. I asked her permission if I could touch her. She said yes.

I found out where the injury hurt, and it was in her small of her back.

So she said I could put my hand there.

So as I prayed over her, I didn't say, Oh God, if you don't mind, if you got the time, if you're not on vacation, would you heal this woman? I commanded healing into her body. I commanded the pain to stop: the ligaments, the joints, the muscles, the bones, the cartilages. to line up with my words. And then I said, thank you, Father, for healing her.

And then I took my hand off of her And I said, What are you feeling? She goes, I'm really not feeling anything. I said that's cool. Can I pray again? She said, Yeah.

So I repeated the process. And this time she said Your hand is warm. I said, Isn't that cool? The Holy Spirit is healing you right now. Amen.

And so I said, Can I pray one more time? She said, Yeah.

So, the third time I put my hand on her back and was doing the same thing, commanding healing into her body. Both of us heard and felt her back crack. is like a a rou a loud noise. And she goes, What happened? I said, The Lord just healed you.

It's so I said, do something you couldn't do. This woman leaned over, she bent over and put the palms of her hands on the floor. And then she stood up and I said, could you do that before? She goes, absolutely not. A hand up.

He goes, Thank you, thank you. I said, Don't thank me, thank Jesus. He's the one that healed you. And then I looked at her, smiled and I don't you have somebody you want to tell? Immediately her head snapped and she looked at her boyfriend and she literally I won't say she ran, but she walked very quickly over to her boyfriend and they embraced and and uh the dispatcher at our company He told me weeks later that she had not been back in that wheelchair, that she was totally healed.

Praise God. And so you said you had one more. Do you want to hear it? Yeah. Okay, so as a driver for this delivery company, whenever we dropped off our product, then we were kind of on hold until the dispatcher called us again.

So it was a hot summer day. I was in Ebor, that's in Tampa, Florida. At night, it's they call it Sen City. In the day, it's just a boring little place with a few shops.

So I'm walking around talking to people and praying for people and just sharing Jesus with people. And I see this young man Walking from one side of the street to the other side of the street, he doesn't see me, but I see him. He's looking forward. He's got one foot up. There's no cast or anything.

He's just got a sock on. hobbling across the street on his crutches.

So I come up behind him. I said, hey man, how's it going? Good. He kinda looks kinda funny at me because I'm talking to him, you know? And I said, What happened to your foot?

And he told me that some mean guys, some mean teenagers in his neighborhood thought it was funny. to run a remote control car into his ankle at about eighty miles an hour, and they were laughing about it. He said, I've been in so many surgeries, they put screws and pins and all kinds of metal in my ankle and I still can't walk.

So I said, Well, do you want Jesus to hear you right now? He goes, yeah.

So I said, well, let's walk over to the shade because it's really hot. We're skinning to illustrate.

So we walked over the shade. I asked his permission if I could touch him. He said yes, and I got down on my hands and knees and I commanded healing. Into his foot to talk to the bones, the ligaments, the nerves. the cartilage, muscles, everything.

I'm just commanding them to heal to line up with my words.

So I stand up, look at him, I go, What do you feel? He goes, Nothing. I go, that's cool. You want me to pray again? He goes, yeah, go ahead.

So I got down there the second time and he goes, Dude. I'm feeling heat in your hand. And I was like, Yep, yes, you are. The Lord's healing you right now. And then I said, Lord, I want you to do me a favor.

I want a creative miracle to happen right here, right now. And I want the metal, all the screws, all the pins to dissolve, to disintegrate in his foot right now, in Jesus' name. And then I commanded the healing. I stood up. And the expression on his face said it all.

That man was healed. Amen. You know, when you said that, there was a man who came to be, he actually wanted some money. He was asking alms in Acts chapter 3. And it says in verse 6, it says, Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, I give thee.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. He didn't say, God, would you please heal this man? He said, In the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk. And John, I want to thank you for the call, brother. We've got a Joan out of Miami.

Joanne, are you there? I'm here. What is your most amazing Jesus story?

Well I encountered An angel. God's an angel. Um I it was in Florida late in 1990. My children's young. There's no cell phones in those days.

Um if you did, you pre you had to be wealthy. Um And There was I was driving my nineteen eighty four Tempo Ford. And it was definitely a godsend. I didn't realize how much it really was. was I never knew how much blessed I was.

when this happened. I was on I-95 on Cypress Creek in Fort Laudale going home. From work. I had to pick up my children from childcare. And I was almost late.

And all of a sudden I heard Back in my tire. And it sounded like, oh my goodness. I said, I've got a flat tire. I got off the road as quick as I could. And um Behind me.

I was looking in my rearview mirror, and there was a white small little truck. and a man, but I never got to see his face. And he knocked on my door on and my car door, and he said, do you have where's your jack and your tire? And I said it's in the back. of the trunk And he says, so I opened it up.

And I did still see his face. I didn't even know. And he grabbed the the the cha the jack and the tire, and in seconds Seconds, I'm saying seconds. He put that tire on so fast. And I went and I was going to give him something.

To help me. And he The he was gone. I mean, the truck was gone too in seconds. I mean, it happened no matter what. And I knew.

knew that it was God. Because One thing that he tells me is that he takes care of his own. He takes care of his own. And Joanne, he certainly does. You were touched by an angel.
