Revival is breaking out on college campuses across America, with students open to hearing the gospel and making a difference for Jesus. A pastor from India shares his passion for equipping young people to share their faith and start a movement, with a conference in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, aiming to mobilize the church to step into every school and college.

Welcome to Truth Talk Live. All right, let's talk the truth news. I can't hide. A daily program powered by the Truth Network. This is kind of a great thing, and I'll tell you what.

Where pop culture, current events, and theology all come together. Speak your mind. And now, here's today's Truth Talk Live host. Revival is breaking out all over the country, all over the college campuses, including all over the world. With me is a man of God who's going to talk about that and challenge you to take it to the next level.

Do you really want to see revival? Do you really want to see our dorm rooms turned into prayer chambers and baptismals?

Well, that's what's happening with Brother Bonnie Andrews, a man of God, a pastor, originally from India. He is in one of the hottest areas in America right now, the RTP, the triangle area of North Carolina, Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill. Brother Bonnie, it is a blessing, my friend, to talk to you today on the show. Stu, thank you so much for having me on the show. Thank you.

Why are you so passionate about revival? You wear a hat. That has the words revival all over it. Yeah. Man, I'm telling you that the wind of revival is blowing all across America.

If I were Apple, I would be investing into the students right now because that's where God is moving.

Somebody told me once. Find where God is and join it. And God is moving among the college students, and that's exactly what we're trying to do. Yeah, and at one time, Barack Obama, Stalin, Hitler, Darwin, all kinds of people, people that good, bad, religious, irreligious, people of great influence were college students. Absolutely.

They were in college and they had professors. And those professors were either bent on turning them into Marxist, communist. And we know how that went with a bunch of these guys, or as in the case of other godly men. Who came to know Jesus and women because they met a guy named Mike Lewis. They met a guy named Bonnie Andrews.

Talk about the impact, Brother Bonnie, that could happen there and give our listeners the gravity of this that are listening. Kind of get our attention here, will you?

Well, let me just tell you that on the bad part of it is that every seven kids, seven out of ten kids that'll go to a college campus. Will walk away from their faith. But on the other side, the latest research on Gen Z says that this is the most open generation ever. That means the hearts are open. And that means the biggest problem that we have is we do not have enough people.

Matthew 9, you know, 9, 38, that says the harvest is plentiful. The laborers, if you're there, pray to the Lord of the harvest, send more laborers. And the students are the laborers. I mean, Stu, you and I, if we need to get on a campus, we need to do too many things to get on a campus. But the students are already on the campus.

We just need to train them. We just need to equip them. We just need to give them the right tools in their hands and inspire them. And here they are going back on the college campus. I mean, I got saved when I was 13 years old.

Little did I know that, you know, I always tell people, you can count the number of seeds in an apple, but you can never count the number of apples that will come up a seed.

So when I got saved, little did anybody know, the guy that led me to Christ, that I ended up starting a movement, that over 4 million students will come to hear the gospel in over 196 cities around the world. And now the Lord would bring me as a missionary from India to America because God loves America. Mm. Wow. And you know, you're really doing something to throw gas on the fire of this revival, August 8th and 9th of this year coming up for those that can get there.

Now, we're talking 2025. We'll probably play this show back at some point as a best of. But for those listening in real time right now, Pastor Andrews, tell us what you're doing. You're just bringing together leaders, youth, denominations from all over the country and the world to fire them up. Tell us about the gas you're throwing on the fire of campus revival at your church august eighth and ninth.

Yes, sir. Campus Harvest Conference has been going on for the last 25 years. We're relaunching it right now. It's a student mobilization conference for high school and college students. They need to be trained, they need to be equipped.

So we're opening up, we're hosting, and we're partnering with King Spark, who's going to be where the conference is going to be August 8th and 9th, starting on Friday evening and going all the way Saturday. And we have hip-hop artists, Grammy-nominated artists, Angie Rose, who's going to be performing live. We've got dancers. We've got performers. We've got great artists, John Owens and the King Spark Collective.

And then we've got great speakers, Tom Breckwall, Rice Brooks. And Michael Miller, some of the greatest speakers and workshops. The biggest problem the kids have is, like, man, a lot of my friends don't know Jesus and they ask me all kinds of questions. I don't have the answers to give them.

So he was saying, hey, come to this conference. We're going to equip you. A lot of the kids are saying, hey, my kids, my friends are depressed. They're going through mental health challenges. How can I help them?

Well, we're going to come to this conference. We're going to help you, train you, equip you to have those conversations. On top of that, we're going to have the chosen show. They're going to be partnering with us. The Bible app is partnering with us.

So, some of the greatest tools around there, digital tools, we're partnering, equipping, challenging these students.

So, anybody listen to us, parents, grandparents, you need to, this is going to be the greatest investment that you can do is to send these kids to this conference, August 8th and 9th. More details on campusharvest.org.

So you're really equipping, you're really building into these young people and to their leaders. Talk about the impact. One college kid could have for Jesus, and maybe go back forty years. To Brother Lewis and what happened on the campus of UNC. I love this story.

That's right. Forty years ago, a young man, a young Jewish man, gets saved on UNC Chapel Hill, Rice Brooks. Who comes on to the campus for three weeks to speak on the campus ends up baptizing 200 students in his bathtub at Carolina Inn, where Stu and I met last time. And that began a movement and a church that's called King's Park, and now they have. Kingstock churches and over 220 churches were planted out of this one guy coming to know Jesus at King's at UNC Chapel Hill 40 years ago.

That's what we're saying. God, where are the Stews? Where are the Ron Lewises? Where are the Bonnie Andrews? We need to find them.

They're sitting on high school. They're sitting in a campus. We need to find them, equip them, and send them back to where they are already. And the enemy is recruiting them rapidly and aggressively. The enemy, the roaring lion, is seeking whom he may devour as we speak.

1 Peter 5, verse 8. But Bonnie Andrews, while the thief is coming to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus Christ has come that we might have life and might have it abundantly. And there's something about a college kid. There's something about a mind that's still tender, a mind that's still malleable. That's right.

Talk about the timing, the strategic timing of this, and about this revival. That's, I saw my buddy Clayton King on Fox News. Being interviewed over the weekend about the revival he's seeing at all these campuses. Hundreds of kids coming forward, wanting to get baptized. Auburn University, not even a Christian school.

I've talked to some friends who've been in the middle of that revival. Speak to that real quick, will you, before the break? I want to say that the kids are open, and this is the result of the prayer that Saints have prayed for years. I mean, there's the collegiate there of prayer, 100 years of praying for the harvest on the campuses.

So now that the right the that the hearts are open, God is bringing the right laborers to the same. And we've been seeing kids get saved at UNC Chapel Hill. We've been having conversation. We've been just like seeing kids get healed, baptized. I mean, this is the greatest season.

I mean, I am so blessed that I am living in this generation, this time, this moment where God is moving breathing all over the college campuses right now. And I'm seeing it. I mean, I'm literally seeing it with my eyes and feeling it in my hands and getting around and putting my hand ha shoulders, hands around their shoulders and praying with them. I mean, this is the moment. I was just talking to this young man who's a football player at UNC Chapel Hill, radically on fire for Jesus.

God said, radically on fire. He's turned his apartment now into a little home church that kids are coming in and getting filled with the Holy Spirit and just being fired up for doing great things for God. And this is the moment, Stu, we're living in. Praise the Lord. And you guys are right in the midst of it.

You're right there, a stone's throw away. The King's International Church right there in the Raleigh area. You've got King's Park International Church. You've got Duke University, Durham. You've got UNC Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

And then you've got NC State University. You've got all kinds of, you know, Wake Tech, all kinds of schools. Elon's right up the street, High Point University, not too far south of there. You've got Wake Forest University, UNCG, Campbell University on the other side, UNC Wilmington, and the list goes on. But there's people listening wherever you are, whether you're near Ohio State University listening to us in.

The Ohio area, many affiliates out there listening to us. How about in Utah? We're going to spend some time in Utah the latter half of this show. You can be involved too. Bonnie Andrews are going to come back with some powerful statistics and some really shocking information with you and your testimony.

But give us the website for those that go into the break for those to hear it real quick before we come back on the other side with you. WWW dot campus harvest.org. Campus Harvest Is there any downside to seeing a worker revival? Get involved, be a part of this, and stay tuned. More with this amazing man of God after this quick break.

Hang on. I don't know about you friends, but when I hear about revival breaking out, I want to run to that. I want to be a part of that. I want to be prayed for. I want to pray for someone.

And God is working. I just sat down in the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill not too long ago, recorded a brief podcast with my friend Bonnie Andrews, who's one of the pastors on staff with Brother Reggie and some amazing men of God at the Kings Park International Church in the Triangle area. And I'm going to play this 60-second clip right from your website. Our own DJ Turner, awesome part of the Team Network, Truth Network, and Grayson's in there, and cousin Randy's in there making this happen today. Hey, Pastor Bonnie, can I play this for our listeners?

They'll get a flavor of it from this little ad. Can I play this? Yeah. Absolutely. Okay, I'm not just trying to get ratings, but this is inspirational.

Just listen. Did you know less than 2% of students on campuses in America? Are part of the gospel movement? There are 1,762 colleges. challenges.

No known gospel community. That's not just a statistic, that's a mission. Revival isn't waiting on the stage, it's waiting on a student. Revival starts with you, more students engaged with the gospel, more students sent, more church-based campus ministries launched. It's time to stop watching, it's time to move.

Campus Harvest Conference 2025 isn't just an eventual. It's a war on apathy. A movement to mobilize the church to step into every school and every college. We're not just asking you to attend. We're calling you to revive the campus.

Happening August 8th and 9th, 2025, in Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. Hosted by Kings Park. Open to ages 14 to 25 and those called to leave them. Early bird tickets, $49. Register now, revive the campus.

Join the movement. Campus Harvest 2025. Wow, I got chills, and I know our team in the studio, our producers, have chills. And other people listening across the Truth Network studio spawning when I hear that. You know, on this show, On our weekend programs, if you'll hear this common theme of go share your faith, go be light, go be salt, go make disciples, go plug into a church, go do this and that.

And sometimes we act like we're just kind of trying to herd cats. But Bonnie, when I hear that message, It just fires me up to say this is a privilege. Listeners, you have the greatest opportunity to be a part of the greatest moment in history and to share the greatest message. Bonnie Andrews, am I off on that, brother? Absolutely, sir.

This is the greatest opportunity. And I'm just telling you, seven out of ten students come to know Jesus Christ between the ages of four to fourteen around the world. That's seventy percent of all the people that come to know Jesus They they give their life to Christ at this this juncture of their age. And it is so important for us to be available. And sometimes it just needs to be a cup of coffee, maybe a word of encouragement, maybe you're putting a hand around somebody, just starting a conversation.

It's as simple as that. Yeah, you know, I talk to more people. If I could just, if I had a dime for every guest that sat across the table for me, I'm talking best-selling authors. I'm talking about people we've had on this show all these years, Bonnie Andrews, who literally, there they were, a beer in their hand, going into their frat party in a crazy. Christian.

stopped him. Said, man, I just want to love on you. I just want to pray for you. And that's the testimony of all kinds of people in your church. And that's what you're going to be around a lot of people that are part of this thing, just going and meeting them and loving on them in the name of Jesus.

Isn't that what it's all about? Absolutely, sir. Absolutely. I mean, we have a little acronym that we play around here. It's called SALT.

Salt is about anywhere you go. Like, I mean, I have a great story to talk about. I was on a plane going in from New York to Dallas, and I had two strangers sitting on the left and the right. And I just did what I did was start a conversation. Don't go to sleep, but start a conversation.

S is to start a conversation.

Next is A. Ask questions. I was like, What's going on? The guy says he's a pro baseball player. This girl says she is an interior design, a dab senator.

And then I just begin to listen. Most Christians don't want to listen, they just want to talk and preach.

So I just sat there listening for most of that flight. Just listen to where they're coming in from, and they're telling me about their story. And finally, the moment came, and they asked me, What about you? And I've got to share my story. That is key to tell your story.

And that day, I held both their hands, prayed with them, led them to Christ. Two weeks later, these two strangers started dating. Six months later, they got engaged. And finally, they asked me to solemnize their wedding. And the story goes on the internet.

Southwest calls it top five stories in 50 years of flying. And, you know, it was. It was just about not sitting back, but starting a conversation, asking questions. Listening and finally be able to tell my story, not just squeeze, tell my story. How did Jesus change my life?

Yeah, I love it. And that is so cool. Hey, real quick, give us your testimony just in a quick minute here. And then we've got another special guest you're going to love meeting coming on in just a second. But how did Bonnie Andrews come to Christ?

How did you end up in America, of all things, coming from a land of over a billion people in India to bring the gospel here, brother? Tell us your quick journey. Absolutely, Stu. I tell people I come from the land of Curry, and I live in the land of Hurry. And now I live in the land called Kerry.

So coming in from the land of Curry, I mean, I was born and raised up in a business home. My dad was an alcoholic. We had a social standing. My grandfather hosted Billy Graham and drove him around when he came to town.

So we had social standing, but my dad was drinking in the bra right opposite the church. And my mom now is suspect of cancer. A couple of our friends, a business friend who came to the renewal, came and prayed for my mom. The next time she went for a checkup, they couldn't find what they thought was cancer. God healed my mom.

I just want to tell everybody Jesus is real. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. That shook the whole family. I shook my wife, my mother, and I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. I gave my life to Christ.

And that is like, my wife could be faking it. My son wouldn't fake it. He gives his life to Christ. My brother gives his life to Christ. We, as a family, go from home to home, and some of the most influential business families in our community, and tons of them come to know Christ.

And I wanted to be in business too. I wanted to be supporting. I want to write checks for the kingdom. But God said, I want you to be in the business of changing life.

So I gave my life into full-time ministry in 2001, it's over 20 years. And I ended up starting a ministry called Live Jam, and we ended up reaching over 4 million students in 196 cities around the world. Life life is getting comfortable. But the Lord shook me and said, you know, comfort zone is dead zone.

So he shook shook me and said, zip code number one. And I checked quickly to find out where zip code number one in the world. One zero zero zero one is Midtown, New York. And so we came in as a missionary. We felt like as Paul did, he went to Rome We're moving in from India, the the land that has received the gospel, to now be sending the gospel.

We came in the most influential and most also the most unreached. city in the world And to share the gospel with students, with the United Nations, the Bible study of the United Nations, shared with students. And here we are, just moved a couple of months ago to relaunch this conference 10 years ago that I was a speaker at. Because we want to see stir up a revival in this land among the student community.

Well, and that's amazing. We've got a caller from Utah who's going to be our next guest, and we're going to say goodbye to Bonnie in just a second. Hang on, Grayson will play the music, and then we'll take a segment in the next segment because we're going to have for the next half hour a whole conversation with kids from a Baptist youth group, a Baptist church in California, that went to Utah on a missions trip with Russ East. Russ, say hey to Bonnie Andrews, man. You guys are like instant soulmates here.

Amazing. Bonnie, you're an encouragement to me. I'll tell you what, I love India and just praise God. Praise God for all that he's doing.

Well, Russ, you're right across the street as we speak from our studio in Utah, from Weber State University. Bonnie, can you get some campus outreach going at Weber State and help Russ? What do you think? Absolutely. Absolutely.

So we're here to serve you, and we want to get as many numbers of students as much as possible to as many campuses. That's why I do this conference. Campus Office, August 8th and 9th. For more details, go to campusharvest.org. It's for high school and college students to be trained, mobilized, and equipped, and sent back to their Schools and colleges to be a living life for Jesus.

Yeah, they're trying to get 14 to 25-year-olds. But, Russ, I like the little caveat. I like the little asterisks at the website, or anyone interested in reaching this demographic.

So, that opened it up to some old fuddy duds like me and Russ, Bonnie. Thank you for doing that. Bonnie, your challenge to Russ, Russ takes these missions teams from all over the country to Utah. He's in Utah. And some of the least Christian areas in the whole country in the United States are in Utah, Provo, Utah, Layton, Utah, all these little towns and hamlets.

What's your encouragement to him, Bonnie, on boldly, continuing to boldly share the gospel and pouring into young people like you're doing at your campus outreach?

Well, you know, there's a beautiful scripture that says, Go and dig ditches. You will not see the wind or the rain, but these ditches will be filled. And our responsibility is to go and share the word. The Lord is the one who opens up the heart, and the fruit is going to be astounding.

So, Russ, I'm standing with you in prayer. I'm standing with you in faith. Keep doing what God is calling you to do. I'm putting it. And give the website one more time, Bonnie, before we say goodbye to you.

Yes, www.campusharvest.org. You can send your students. If you can send, you can sponsor a student to be at the conference. It'll change their lives. There are many ways you can partner.

Hang on, Rush. More coming up. Thank you.
