Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. I love this American rap. Todd starts. Wow.

May I? I'm gonna say something. I um wow, what a great weekend. And I don't know about you. I hope you had a terrific weekend.

I had a great weekend. This was actually. one of my better weekends. And I'm not sure why I was a l I was busy, but I I wasn't slammed. And it was just nice to be back home and did the book signing over the weekend in South Haven, Mississippi.

May I just say something for a moment? God bless the fine staff over at Books a Million in South Haven, Mississippi. This was their very first book signing. They have never had an author come into a signing in their store, an absolutely beautiful store. And I will tell you, I have never seen so many people coming and going inside a bookstore.

And they're all young people and they're just really fun folks. I was the only person there that didn't have colored, colorful hair, right?

So everybody had like the bright colors. I call them kids. They were young kids and they were so incredibly nice. They kept me hydrated. Every time I drank a bottle or a sip of water, another bottle was coming out.

I mean, I was chugging water through the whole thing. Anyway, met a lot of you great folks, signed books, had a wonderful time. And it was such an honor to meet so many of our listeners in northern Mississippi.

Some folks came down from even further south in Mississippi.

So thank you all so very much. Coming up, we've got more stuff coming. Your way. You folks in Waterloo, Iowa, we're heading in your direction in a couple of weeks. Our good buddy Jeff Stein, radio station KXEL, having a big event, and we'll be telling you more about that.

But I want to start today with an incident that happened over the weekend. And it did not get major news coverage. At all. And as a matter of fact, I don't think the networks covered this story at all. There was an honest to goodness insurrection in Washington, DC over the weekend.

And it's a pretty big deal. Originally, they said, oh, 30,000 pro-Hamas goons stormed D.C.

Well, now they're saying it was about 9,000 to 10,000. Anyway, there was a lot of them. And these are people that are not just pro-Hamas, there were people in the crowd who are actually identifying themselves as members of Hamas. I mean, this was a violent, nasty group of people. Cut 14, please.

Oh Kill another Zionist now. Kill a dogger silence down! Kill a dog or silence! All right, so just so you know, that's the mob chanting kill the Zionist, kill the Jews. Kill people who believe in the nation of Israel.

Mm-hmm.

Now, these folks were allowed to protest. They were also desecrating. Monuments and statues in our nation's capital. We know of at least three. There's video on our website.

We have so much video on ToddStarnes.com. It's just insane, and you've got to watch it for yourself. The chanting does not do justice to the evil that was present there. And so you had these Park Rangers, and they were overwhelmed. The Secret Service was overrun.

As a matter of fact, there's video of the Secret Service and the Park Rangers having to retreat back inside the White House compound because they were getting pelted with rocks and bottles. And you can see the video for yourself, these poor Park Rangers. And my understanding is, our sources in D.C. tell us that they were warned in advance that there were going to be thousands of people there, but they chose not to bring additional law enforcement personnel on duty. And so you just had a handful of police dealing with some 9,000 raging anti-Semitic loons.

And then they tried to storm the White House gates. They threw smoke bombs, smoke grenades over the fence into the White House grounds. And at one point, they literally formed a human chain. Around the entire perimeter of the White House. And if they If they had Proceeded, they could have breached the gates and they could have entered the White House compound.

That's how crazy it was.

So they're out there chanting, and you heard it. I wanted you to hear this. They're chanting, kill the Jews. They're vandalizing. They actually vandalized a veterans' memorial.

They're cursing. It's just horrible. And so they were the Biden campaign was asked about this on the Sunday shows. And one of the news hosts was like, well, what are you saying about all these people? They're out there and they're cussing at you and they're hating the Jewish people.

What do you do? And here's what Adrian L. Rod, she is the campaign spokesman. Here's what she had to say, cut number nine. Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters rallied outside the White House, urging the president to halt military aid to Israel and calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

How are these persistent protests? weighing on the campaign.

Well, first of all, President Biden certainly, unlike President Trump, supports the freedom of speech and the freedom of expression.

So obviously these protesters are exercising their right, and that is their right to do.

So that being said, we certainly understand it as a challenge. President Biden is certainly fighting for every vote. He's not taking anything for granted. But look, this is the freedom that people have, going back to the message of freedom. They have the right to protest.

They have the right to speak their mind. Oh, it's a challenge. Yes, we know. Yes, we know it's a challenge. You know, we don't want the Jews to get killed, but there is this free speech thing.

So um we're just gonna let them march. These people are nuts. They're out there threatening to kill Jews. By the way, some raging loon. And by the way, have you noticed how all the the pro Hamas Muslim chicks, they all have that same screechy voice?

And so they had one of them out there, and she's screaming, I'm Hamas, I'm Hamas, I'm Hamas.

Okay, well, um, ma'am, if in fact you are Hamas, why is she on American soil? Right? I mean, these people are marching in solidarity with Hezbollah and with Hamas. Why are they here?

So, there you have it.

So, I wanted to, we're setting the stage here because something else happened over the weekend. And this concerns me.

Now, I have told you many times over the years, do not. Heterosexuals of America, hear me loud and hear me clear. Do not. Do not, under any circumstances, drive your vehicle. Or walk your buttocks across a gay pride crosswalk.

Don't do it, it's too dangerous, it's a trap! It's a trap. Over the weekend. There are a couple of instances, and we're getting reports of even more, of people that have been arrested because they left skid marks on the on the gay crosswalk that has been painted on an actual working roadway.

Meanwhile, over in Spokane, Washington. You had uh three teenagers. And they were on those little scooters. You see them all over the place. I hate those things.

Dylan, you've seen them. They're like in downtown, and people are like all over the place. Birds. Bird scooters. They call them bird scooters.

That's one of the brands. Oh, my lord. It was huge three years ago. And people leave them all over the place. Oh, yeah.

It's it's really annoying.

So, anyway, they had three kids, three teenagers, and they're on these little scooters and they have like the little tiny wheels. And uh so anyway, they apparently left scooter marks. On the Gay Pride Crosswalk in Spokane, Washington, and the kids have, they were, they were arrested. And now they're facing felony charges, ladies and gentlemen, felony charges. For leaving those skid marks on the Gay Pride Crosswalk.

Now, I want you to consider where we are in America right now. At this very moment, they are burning the American flag in Washington, D.C. Over the weekend, they literally burned. An American flag. Yeah.

Now, you heard. You just heard the Biden campaign tell you That it's okay to burn. The American flag. It's okay to desecrate statues and monuments. It's okay to attack police because that is their.

Right. That is. That is their constitutional right to do that. They call that protected speech. But if so, if you burn an American flag, that's okay.

You got a pat on the back and a thumbs up. From the Democrat Party. Good job. Good job. Ah command.

But if If you leave a skid mark on a crosswalk, a gay pride crosswalk, or you burn a gay pride flag, you could end up facing federal hate crime charges. Does that make sense to you at all, ladies and gentlemen? 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. I will say this.

That we now live in a society where gay rights trump everybody else's rights. Where the Muslim faith is elevated above the Jewish and the Christian faith. And I just have one pressing issue, one more question. We're reaching out to the people at GLAAD Headquarters. That's the gay and the lesbian association of Yaba-Dabbadoos.

Because we do want an answer to this question. If it is a hate crime, To leave a skid mark on a gay pride crosswalk, I want to know what kind of charges, God forbid, somebody leaves a skid mark on a gay pride speedo. We'll be right back. So, over the weekend, President Trump. out in Las Vegas, and I got to tell you something, the guy is just He's firing on all cylinders. You've got poor President Biden, and he's out there. Here's how bad things are with Biden right now.

So, first of all, poop gate is still a thing, whether or not we can verify. That fecal matter was discharged in the presence of the French President and his wife. Not clear, but body language experts are saying there was an odor there.

So now you've got a whole dance move going on. They're calling it the they call it the Biden. This is crazy. People are mocking and mimicking Joe Biden bending down, the Biden squat. Is what they're calling it.

So So that's what the Democrats are dealing with. Poor. This is terrible. It's really bad. It's really bad.

So now you've got Donald Trump out in Vegas, and the guy is just crushing it. Here's what he had to say about. All you waiters and waitresses, people making tips, cut number two.

So this is the first time I've said this, and for those hotel workers and people that get tips, you're going to be very happy. Because when I get to office, we are going to not charge taxes on tips, people making tips. We're not going to do it. And we're going to do that right away, first thing in office, because it's been a point of contention for years and years and years. And You do a great job of service, you take care of people, and I think it's going to be something that really is deserved.

More importantly, I'm popular or unpopular. I do some unpopular things too if it's right for the country. I do what's right. But So, those people that have jobs in restaurants, whatever the job may be, a tipping job, we're not going after for taxes anymore. This will be under.

Yeah.

So this is huge because nobody's been out there looking out for the waiters and the waitresses of America, and most of them are not, you know, they're getting a small hourly wage. And they're relying on those tips to get money to pay their rent. And so Trump says he's going to change that. We're not going to charge taxes on tips. He is going to be pushing that.

Right away, a number of of waiters and waitresses in the Vegas area said they're changing their vote. That they voted for Biden the last go-around, and they are going to support. Donald Trump. Dana White, by the way, praising Trump. Cut number one.

The one thing about the former President, he wants to be the next President again. You know a fighter's heart. You stare in more fighters' eyes than anybody else to see what's in there. Where does he rack at seventy seven? Number one.

Number one. Take any of the greatest fighters of all time. Trump is number one, the most resilient human being that I have ever met in my life. In what respect? Why keep doing this?

You know, you've got money, you've got a great life, you got whatever. Why keep doing this? And the one thing that I can tell you. And this is a fact. This guy loves this country, right?

And he loves all Americans. Regardless of what color, religion, or whatever it is, he's not a racist. He's a good human being, and he loves America and he cares about this country. Period. End of story.

If he wasn't that type of guy, I would never even associate myself with him. Right. Yeah, that's interesting. Remember a couple of days ago, President Trump was on Dr. Phil's news show, and remember what?

What some of the people in the audience said. There was a black lady who stood up, and she said, You know. This is the first time I've been able to see him in person. I've been able to hear him without all the edits and what TV does. And she says he's like a whole different person.

And it is true. I have seen it myself. This is look, Donald Trump is the kind of guy that let's just say that you're in Claremont, Georgia, and President Trump shows up and has and goes to your little church. And you go over and you invite the president to come over to your house for Sunday roast beef dinner. And the President would be there, and he would be just one of the family sitting around that table.

It's an uncanny thing, but I think it goes back to the fact that Donald Trump is comfortable in his own skin. Donald Trump knows who he is. He doesn't have to put on airs, and you either like him or you hate him, but that's okay with him. He's okay with that. He's not out there trying to please anybody.

He's out there. trying to make America great and to secure America's future. Yeah.

And we're going to get into this with Matt Schlapp in the next hour. We're going to be talking about what happened this weekend in the elections in Europe. There is something happening globally, and I think we are starting to see all sorts of people. world citizens rising up against globalism. And when you see what un Unfettered emigration has done to the The European countries.

I mean, it is like a, they're setting themselves up for another holy war over there. I mean, the fact that in France right now there are some neighborhoods, communities where you're not even allowed to go. If you are not Muslim, you're not allowed in those areas.

So I hope they can figure all of this out. And certainly with the elections, they're heading in that direction. But this is what Trump is trying to avoid here in this country. And I think he's going to be able to do it if we all get out and do our part. Actually, I know he will.

Oh, by the way, I want to play this audio from CBS News out of Nevada, cut number 20. I did talk with some hotel workers yesterday, some service workers here in Las Vegas, about how that is playing with them. And Anne-Marie, about six people told me that would change their vote. That is enough to make them switch from voting Democrat to Republican if Donald Trump is promising something like that to them.

Now, let me say something about this. If we can focus on those issues, Trump wins and he wins huge. But we have to stay focused on the big issues: number one, the economy, number two, securing our border, and number three, crime, which is insane. The number of people they got shot in our major American cities over the weekend just unbelievable.

So my question to you. And we have a lot of new listeners coming onto the program. Why are you supporting Donald Trump? What is it about Donald Trump that tells you this is the man? 901-260-5926.

Our number, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Big tech, big government, and the progressives have done everything they can to silence truth and sanity. But there's a secret weapon out there that they can't touch. One year ago, a new digital streaming platform, the Real Life Network, was launched to provide a desperate world with much-needed programming free from the overreach and interference of government and media.

Now, the explosive growth they've seen speaks for itself. In one short year, more than 100 programmers have jumped on board to provide content from podcasts and interviews to sermons and conferences to kid shows and feature-length films. I'm proud to be among them. As you can find, the Todd Starn Show and several of my interviews on Real Life Network. And get this: over 30 million minutes of programs that are free from the influence of secular agenda have already been viewed.

Real Life Network can change your life, and it's free.

So sign up now at reallife network.com and receive a Free digital download of Countdown, a book from Real Life Network founder Pastor Jack Hibbs. All right, welcome back, everybody. Man, this crime thing, this is insane. Um Over in Memphis, we had, well, I think it went in Chicago. They had something like 40-something shootings just off the charts.

In Memphis, we had 20 people. that were shot, And early this morning, about 12:30, they There was a shooting at the airport, the Memphis International Airport.

So, and I've been at this location, it's just shocking. But there are a couple of guys and Uber drivers. And they were in the cell phone mod.

So, you know, you can't. It used to be in the old days, Dylan. I'm going to educate you. But in the old days. You could drive right up to the airport and you could park.

You could get out of your car. You could walk right to the gate. We didn't have security. It didn't matter. You were just, you could do whatever you wanted to do.

They even let people smoke on airplanes, they had a smoking section. But what people didn't realize back in the old days, when you're smoking on an airplane, the entire airplane is a smoking section. Those were the good old days. Was it the good old days? Turbulence, lung cancer.

Hot flight attendants.

Sounds great. But now, you know, it is what it is. On the plus side, there are a good many people that they get a lot of action in that TSA. Bat down.

So I've heard. Yeah.

They've gotten to second pace with me a time or two. But I never get flowers, never get candies, not even a call. Very cold. Pick me out to dinner first. Right, exactly.

Take me over to the Chick-fil-A. Give me some nuggets. Before you grapple with mine. That's all I'm asking. Anyway, what were we talking about?

Oh, yes.

So at the airport.

So at 12:30 this morning, a couple of Uber drivers are just waiting to pick up passengers. And you know how it is. Delta's always late. The flights are late coming in.

So it's 12:30. And all of a sudden, four guys, four black dudes wearing masks and guns, they jump out and they're trying to carjack the Uber drivers at Memphis International Airport. They shot one of the poor guys, and then the other they beat up, and they stole their wallet and all that kind of stuff, but they were not able to carjack the cars. And then they got away. The good news is the Uber driver who got shot, we think he's going to be okay.

He had to undergo surgery. I think the bullet broke his leg, fractured his femur. That's terrible. And we're going to let you know, we're going to try to help this guy out. And they're working on like a GoFundMe because they're Uber driver.

You know, it's a tough gig, especially in Memphis, which is a freaking war zone.

So, anyway, this crime is rampant.

So, the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee, came up with a solution. He has decided to come up with a very racially offensive term. They're calling it. Neal our hood. Or heal the hood.

And so, one of the ways they wanted that's that short for you folks to there in. In Beverly Hills, that short for neighborhood. but they call it the hood. And so, anyway, in an effort to heal the hood, the mayor decided that we're going to have a basketball game. And it was the city versus the county.

And they decided that if the mayors were able to get out into the court. and they were able to play basketball together, that that would heal the hood and the gang members would put down all of their weapons and they would hug each other and we would sing some sort of a Whoopee Goldberg song. It would be like sister act in real life. But that did not happen.

So more people got shot after the basketball game. It's a terrible thing here. And by the way, this mayor believes that the the only way to resolve the gang violence is to implement midnight basketball. And he said that midnight basketball will ensure that the kids are off the streets. But maybe it's just me, but if you're a parent and you've got a 12 or 13-year-old, should that child not be at home by midnight?

At the very latest, right? I mean, because if midnight basketball starts at midnight, you're looking at what, one, two, three o'clock in the morning? Nothing good happens at three AM, especially in Memphis. I'm just saying. But in the meantime, We've got Elon Musk coming to town.

But now there's a big problem, and we will pull this audio for a little bit later on. Because midnight basketball. Elon Musk. apparently is not black enough for Memphis. And even though Elon Musk is actually an African American, the two major the major newspaper and the public T V station, they are concerned that Elon Musk does not embrace diversity, the DEI.

Diversity, inclusiveness, and what's so equity? Equality. No, it's equity. whatever. Anyway, it's all racist.

So anyway, they're going on and on and on about this over the weekend about how we may not really want Elon Musk to invest billions of dollars in Memphis, Tennessee. Because He is too conservative. And they want people, they want people to come into the city who are more like them. I am not making this up. This was an intellectual conversation that was had on the public.

Public welfare television program. Let's take a listener. Yeah, but he also runs X. Uh-oh. And that is causing, I think, a lot of anxiety about this because of the way that he's run a company that, to be fair, a company that he acquired, not a company that he founded.

But that is kind of causing people to look over their shoulder. Yeah.

Tell me, bring you in on this. A lot of folks out there have said this, and it's a kind of goes to what Bill was saying. I think we kind of went the Jurassic Park process on this. We asked could we do this before we asked maybe should we do this? And it's because a lot of his inflammatory remarks on Twitter and the way he's run his company, frankly, I mean, you know, he is a vocal opponent of Diversity, equity, and inclusion before that was even like a cool acronym.

That's the bedrock of this community in Memphis, right? And he has said plainly that he is against this thing. Women say that Tesla is like an old boys' club and alleged sexual harassment out there. Elon Musk himself has said that being gay is a lifestyle choice. You know, in 2021, a federal jury awarded a man $137 million in a hostile work environment lawsuit because he was working, he was a contractor, he was a black operator elevator at Tesla.

And he said his fellow employees, they were using the N-Word, they were drawing swastikas and other things. Management refused to step in to do anything about this at all. It got so bad, he finally filed a lawsuit, and a jury agreed with him. And management, after that, just said, well, the other employees were joking around, you know, and didn't take it that seriously. You know, and in January, Musk tweeted that a plane is going to have to crash and people die.

Before we get rid of these diversity, equity, inclusion programs everywhere. And, um, I want local leaders to think about that, to go to their DEI officers that they have in place and look and say, okay, let's just look at his history, let's look at his Twitter history and say, would we hire this person? And that becomes a really sticky part there. And also, as we're getting ready for incentives and edge and all those things, he has said plainly that he does not believe in public incentives for projects, even though his company has had hundreds of millions of them.

So a lot to think about, and there's a lot of anxiety, like Bill said, about Musk coming in just because of who he is. I told you, right? It, and look, I thought I did a pretty horrifying job of describing it to you, but to hear it, the words coming out of their leftist lips, it's just unbelievable.

Well, it's just not right. You know, he's a white man. I know he's an African American, but he's not an African-American, if you know what it means. But we just can't have somebody like him coming into our city and giving people good jobs. Who does he think he is?

Who does he think he does Elon Musk think he can just come into Memphis, Tennessee and just drop six or seven billion dollars and try to try to fill up all the potholes? And we're supposed to just bend over and celebrate? I don't think so. I want somebody in here that'll just, you know, forget Elon. Can we get Colonel Sanders?

Can we get some more chicken joints around here? Maybe that's what we need to make Memphis matter. I'm telling ya. These people are slap crazy nuts. The thing here is that the black community here in Memphis is actually excited about this.

Everybody's excited about it, but it's always the white woke liberals, right? They just have to. Pour gasoline on the simmering race issues. And they always want to make it about race. They always want to make it about diversity and equity and inclusion.

Okay. You really want to have that conversation? Because Memphis is a majority. is a majority minority city.

So that means if you really want to work the whole DEI, you need to be making sure that white businesses are equally represented. Oh, I know, I know that ju I know that the Liberals hearing this have just assumed the Joe Biden poop position, but that's the reality of it. And most blacks that I've talked to, and I talked to a lot of folks from all different kinds of communities, all different kinds of persuasions, and everybody is excited. The only people that are upset are all of these woke white liberals that are pooping themselves.

So, my question is: I'm just curious if it's not going to be Memphis, Tennessee, if Memphis says, nope, yeah, you know what, we're good here. Would you like to see Elon Musk come to your community? 901-260-5926 is our number. That's 901-260-5926. Well, thank you, James Carble. All right, over and out. Thank you, sir. James, I hear you. I hear you, Jim.

I hear you. And we're trying, but it's just, they're not listening. They're not listening, Jim. All right. Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen.

Good to have you with us. Hey, can I ask you a question about the WNBA? Any of you folks out there watch the WNBA? It's, you know, Caitlin Clark, she is just unbelievable the attention she's getting, but the hate, the WNBA literally hates this girl. And again, she is one of the few white non-lesbians playing in the league.

And a lot of that has to, that plays into a lot of this. As a matter of fact, one of the pundits out there last week compared Caitlin Clark to Elvis. And there's, in the new Elvis movie, which was. A little weird, but there was a racist vibe there. And the argument is that Elvis stole.

Black people's music, Elvis told black people's moves, and so Elvis really owes a lot to the black community.

Well, Elvis is dead, but Elvis was very.

Okay, that's going to stir up controversy. You know, he is. Unless the UFOs come back and he pops out.

Sorry. But anyway, that's it's caused a lot of cont so they're saying that Caitlin Clark is is like Elvis. But the reality is basketball was actually created by a white guy.

So I'm just again, I I just always, I'm of the impression you always want the best people on your team, right? And if it's a team full of blacks, great, or Pacific Rim guys, fuck. Fine.

So anyway, word came down. That Caitlin Clark will not be a member of the Olympic team.

So she she it was Passed over. And instead Brittany Griner's gonna be there and this chick hates America. She literally hates America. We pulled we pulled her butt out of a Russian prison cell. We saved her hide and this woman She disrespects America and the flag.

But she made the team.

Now, you can argue. That Caitlin Clark is a freshman in the league. She's going to become a phenomenal player. She's already the best player they've got in the league. But my thing is, is that really why she was left off?

Because she's new and she's young and she's going to grow into this? Is that really the reason why? Do you believe that's the reason why that Caitlin Clark was left off the Olympic team?

Now I will say this about Caitlin Clark. What a class act I mean, the things they say about her in the sports media world, the things that are done to her on the basketball court. And she is out there and she has taken it. And she still takes the high road, even though she was left off of the team. Cut number 10.

Salen, what was your reaction when you saw the USA team yesterday to the roster come out? Yeah, I think. I'm excited for the girls that are on the team. I know it's the most competitive team in the world, and I know it could have gone either way of me being on the team, me not being on the team.

So, you know, I'm excited for them. I'm going to be raiding them on to win gold. I was a kid that grew up watching the Olympics.

So, yeah, it'll be fun to watch them. What was your level of disappointment not kind of hearing your name on the roster? Honestly, no disappointment. Like, I think it just gives you something to work for. You know, that's a dream.

You know, hopefully, one day I can be there. I think it's just a little more motivation. I mean, we remember that. And hopefully in four years, when four years comes back around, I can be there. Did you have a direct conversation with managing record members?

Or were there USAB recently? Yeah, they called me and let me know and before everything came out, which was really respectful of them and I appreciated that and they did the same for every girl that made the team or every girl that didn't make the team. There's a lot of players in the Olympic pool so it wasn't like I was the only one they had to call. They had to make quite a few calls.

So there you go, Class Act, Caitlin Clark. And maybe that's what really happened here, but I don't think so. I'm not buying it. And especially in another interview, she said that they had notified her days in advance, so they knew how this was going to play. You think that she was intentionally targeted here, folks?

So, Congressman, first, welcome, and second, congratulations.

Well, thanks, Todd. Great to be with you. And look, I'm looking forward to getting to the work. We want our intelligence agencies to be To be successful at thwarting our enemies. We want them to be focused on our enemies.

Here's what we also want, Todd. We want them to be operating within the confines of the Constitution. Not too much to ask, but apparently so far, at least this session, it has been too much to ask. Yeah, well, no doubt about that. And of course, Hunter Biden's trial.

Isn't it interesting how quickly they were able to get that trial done? Oh, it's amazing how fast you can move when the court system can move when they want to, but of course, You know, look, the The trial in New York was designed to keep the President off the campaign trail. That's one of the reasons for that trial. And so spend as much time as you can. And they're successful at it.

I mean, you know, the The fox and the hen house is all the same thing on that one, and we should have expected nothing less. Congressman, I want to get your take on something that happened over the weekend. You know, we had this I mean, it was basically an insurrection, these thousands of people laying siege to the White House, attacking law enforcement. You had monuments desecrated, an American flag burned. They're literally shouting, kill the Zionists, kill the Jews.

And the Biden campaign is out there saying, oh, that's protected speech. But God forbid you ride a motor scooter over a gay crosswalk and you could face felony charges. Yes. Or if your chant is or if your direction is to go peacefully and patriotically have your voices be heard, That that's you know, that's worthy of law enforcement and rounding you up at your home in the wee hours of the morning as they pound on your door. But if you say kill somebody, where at any other time that would be considered a terroristic threat, but because it's the left, because it's Hamas, because it's the Democrat Party, Well, you know, there's nothing to see here.

I mean, we are l this administration is literally about to jail a sweet grandmother because she prayed and sang hymns outside of an abortion clinic, and that's illegal. That's worthy of federal time in prison, but you're telling me that it's okay to go out there and nearly storm the White House gates.

Well, it it is apparently okay to the to the mayor of Washington DC, who runs that police department. And it's obviously okay with the Democrat Party, the Left, and their media team, which is the mainstream media, who's going to report, I'm sure, that it was a peaceful protest and they're just out there exercising their First Amendment rights. And saying debt to America or kill somebody is protected speech. You know, Todd, we both know That it's not protected speech and it shouldn't be protected speech. These are terroristic threats, it's inciting violence.

And these people should be hauled off to jail and prosecuted, but they won't be. Congressman, I want to get your take on what has been happening with the weaponization of the judicial system. Of course, Peter Navarro serving. Four months for being held in contempt of Congress. You've got Steve Bannon, who has been ordered to jail.

There is great concern that President Trump is going to be sent to jail on July 11th. What do you make of this? Are these just all coincidences, or is something else going on here?

Well, no, these are not coincidences. This is a coordinated effort using the awesome and almost unstoppable power of the state, that is the federal government, Yeah. Silence your political opposition. You know, I had a friend of mine say to me over and over again, it's just crazy. It's just crazy.

I said, No, it's not crazy. It's tyranny. That's what it is. Don't say it's crazy, it's tyranny. It goes on in most of the world every single day.

We're just not used to it in the United States because we normally have people of integrity elected and serve in public office, and they took care to not abuse the authorities. That you have when you're at the state. That is the authority of a badge and a gun and imprisonment. But the Democrats and the left don't care about any of that. And so when you don't have any integrity, when you don't care, when you don't take care, you just use.

the awesome power that you have. to silence and jail your political opponents. That's what's happening. On the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line is Congressman Scott Perry, District 10 in Pennsylvania. How do you think this is going to play out?

I mean, the the polling data out there indicates President Trump is doing extremely well. I'm a little concerned by that only because we can't lose momentum. We've got to be out there campaigning like we're 20 points behind.

Well, we always need to campaign like we're twenty points behind, Todd. But you know this as well. You've been in this business a long time. These polls right now are not meant to reflect public sentiment, but to drive public sentiment.

So they ask the questions, the sample size and what we call the crosstabs, how they figure out who they're going to poll, who's going to answer. That's all selected particularly to get a result, to drive opinion, not reflect opinion. We have to, like you said, just ignore that. We know that most of the people can see what's happening to President Trump. The people that hate him are going to continue to hate him.

But the people that have an open mind and they themselves don't want to be persecuted for going to Catholic Mass or for going to a school board meeting, they understand what's happening to President Trump. They don't want it to happen to them. They're telling their neighbors and friends. And that's how President Trump is going to win the Presidency. That's how we're going to save the Republic.

All right. Well, Congressman, we always love having you on the program, and it's going to be a wild ride through November, so we'll take it one day at a time. That's right, Todd. You got to keep fighting. You got to keep your chin up, just like those good boys did on D-Day.

And let's honor their sacrifice and let's keep going and let's win this thing. God bless you and your audience. All right, Congressman Scott Perry, everybody, one of the great patriots out there from Pennsylvania, member of the House Freedom Caucus. All right, our telephone number, 901-260-5926. Do you think this is a coincidence?

All these Trump folks getting arrested, getting sent to prison? Or do you think, as the Congressman does, that there's something more nefarious afoot here? 901-260-5926. Again, 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us. This is the Todd Searns Radio Show, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. All right, I want to play some audio here.

This is President Trump. And just imagine what would have happened if this had been Joe Biden. The teleprompter breaks. Dearing Trump's address in Vegas, it was like three hundred degrees outside, cut eight T. Could you imagine if Biden was up?

He's no good with the teleprompter, he's the worst I've seen. But could you imagine if the teleprompters were off? Here's Biden he's a he's a oh sh. Oh. He wouldn't even say anything because he's incapable.

He'd probably go pause, you know, pause. How about when he's reading the teleprompter and then they say pause, meaning, you know, maybe you'll get about three people clapping and he goes pause. No, he just walked off the stage like this. Uh-oh. Teleprompter This guy is the worst.

Ah, it's terrible. Oh by the way, this news coming in, any Doctor Who fans in the audience? The big sci-fi show. This thing is like legendary. I was not a never was a big fan of Doctor Who.

But anyway, Doctor Who is getting it on. The new Doctor is gay. And Disney has announced that they're going to be broadcasting the very first gay kiss on Doctor Who. And the gay actor who has taken over so you have to be gay now to play a gay character. I think that's a rule now in Hollywood.

So now they have a gay Doctor Who, and he is going to be Um, making out with somebody. I have no idea. Oh, it's a oh, here we go, a gay dallions with a guest star. Jonathan Groff. From Glee and Mindhunter, I'm not familiar.

So anyway, uh the season Is being run. The show is now being run by Russell Davies, who is openly gay. He was the creator of Showtime's Queer as Folk. Mm-hmm.

And promised to bring these sorts of storylines to the show.

So, this is going to become Doctor Who will now become an LGBT drama. And there you go. That's that. Another story. coming from the world of DC Comics.

And they are go going all in again on the Gay Pride. They've launched a series of comic books, and basically every superhero character is now gay in the Disney or in the DC universe. Including Aquaman, who is apparently dating some sort of a minnow or a dolphin or something. I do not know, some sort of a sea creature. A little I don't know, interspecies action going on there.

Then you've got Superman is Superman's got himself a boyfriend. And then you've got a couple of, I think all the female characters are lesbians. And Green Lantern as well.

Now, Green Lantern is not a lesbian, but he is. Yay. And they're all very excited about this over at Disney, but fans are just enraged. And they're saying, come on. This is nuts.

Why, if you want to create gay characters, create gay characters. But don't take all of these characters who, by the way, I mean, they were all straight characters, but that really wasn't ever a part of the storyline, right? I mean, it's just, it is who they are, it's who they were creating. They were born that way. To borrow a phrase.

And I'm wondering. Had they overstepped the mark. I'm just not seeing that much enthusiasm at these gay pride events. They had a lot of them over the weekend, and the parades. are not very well attended this year.

And a lot of that could be because this year, a lot of the parades are featuring full-blown nudity. And they had these. There was one parade over the weekend, and they actually had a bicycle brigade, and the people on board the bicycles were butt-naked. Which had to have been hard for those like little banana-shaped seats there. I mean, it's.

With the crankage. That's got to be really painful.

Well, maybe not for this crowd. I dunno.

So anyway, they've got these parades. And honest to goodness, folks, this is the the level of debauchery we're talking about is that they had these kids, all these kids, and they're saying this is family friendly stuff. And you got the kids and they're like Mommy. Mummy. That man is naked And he's overweight.

I mean big fat gay men butt naked riding around on bicycles.

Now, I just have a question. If you are a member of the gay community, is. Is that representative of who you are? I mean, is that really is it? Is that who you guys want to be represented by?

And then what was it? They had the parade float with the guys and the leather chaps. Leather chaps are apparently always a thing now. And again, with the summer heat, it's got to lead to chafing. I just feel very bad for those folks.

Well, Dylan, I I guess that's a great point. I mean, they probably somebody Somebody obviously has a jar of Vaseline. in that crowd. Yeah.

Maybe a tub of it.

Meanwhile, in New York City. Parents are enraged. Enraged, I say. Enraged. Oh, Paul Shanklin says, Pride goeth before the fall.

True.

So here's what's got folks in the Big Apple riled up. You know, the ice cream trucks, I love the ice cream trucks, right? They have the little Asong and they drive around. Usually it's a creepy guy, and they're selling you ice cream in the park. They have them all over the place in New York City.

So, anyway, this ice cream truck in Queens, the parents are upset because the ice cream, the kids ordered a waffle cone. Oh, those are delicious. If they're made on the spot, they're delicious. But they got the waffle cone. Dylan, guess how much it costs for a for a an ice cream cone?

I don't even want to.

So you would say a couple of bucks, right? I would say five bucks. Five bucks. $14. What?

before tax.

So that is not tax included. Goodness. It is a your basic waffle cone with a scoop of ice cream. This guy, one parent, his kid wanted a small chocolate sundae and a shake float. Oh, those are delicious.

very refreshing on a hot summer day. $26. Another parent had, it was a family of four, over $60 for ice cream cones from the ice cream truck.

So I'm wondering if, and now they're blaming, they're saying people are taking advantage of inflation. No, people are trying to stay alive. They're trying to keep their businesses afloat. because everything is costing more under Bidenflation. And again, go back to Nancy Pelosi during the pandemic and remember that she had the freezers filled with designer gourmet ice cream.

Remember Joe Biden walking around in his bathrobe in the White House? Lickin'. On a on an ice cream cone? I almost said child, but I caught myself. I mean, they're the only people that can do that.

They're the only people that can afford to buy ice cream. I was at Kroger just, I was going to make. I felt in the mood I was in the mood to cook meatloaf yesterday.

So I go down to Kroger and I'm about ready to buy the ground beef to to get the to get the uh the for the to make the meatloaf. $12 a pound for ground beef. Geezaloo. I was almost ready to go buy some of that fake meat. All those Not quite.

I would rather starve to death. And I've got a ways to go before that happens. All that to say, everything is costing more money. And I'm telling you here, folks, you pay attention. This is going to drive people to the ballot box.

And the Trump campaign If they focus on these kinds of issues, all right? Forget about J6 for a minute. All right, we're talking about a campaign to get somebody elected. You've got to focus on issues everybody can agree on. And I get it.

The election, ballot integrity, I get these are all valid concerns, but those are not winning concerns at the ballot box. The fact that people can't even afford to buy sprinkles for their ice cream cone. That's an issue. 901-260-5926, our number. That's 901-260-5926.

I'm curious to know if there are extreme prices in your neighborhood grocery. Yeah.

All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us. And again, I really hate it for all those folks, but the reality is with Biden's economy, everything is costing more money. 901-260-5926 is our number. That's 901-260-5926.

I was reading a story that We're talking about thousands, thousands of fast food worker jobs now gone, eliminated across California. as a result of these policies. I mean, what are you gonna do? It is what it is, you got to be able to pay your bills. All right, want to play some audio here.

Of course, Hunter Biden. And the ⁇ oh, no, no, I'll get to 100 in just a second. It's President Trump weighing in on shark attacks. Have you heard these stories about the sharks over the weekend? I think he had three people get nearly eaten down in the Gulf Coast, the Redneck Riviera.

President Trump, here's his take on this, CUT 16. Because of MIT, my relationship to MIT, very smart. He goes, I say, what would happen if the boat sank from its weight and you're in the boat and you have this tremendously powerful battery and the battery is now underwater and there's a shark that's approximately 10 yards over there. By the way, a lot of shark attacks lately. Do you notice that?

A lot of sharks. I watched some guys justifying it today.

Well, they weren't really that angry. They bit off the young lady's leg because of the fact that they were not hungry, but they misunderstood who she was. These people are quite... He said there's no problem with sharks. They just didn't really understand a young woman.

Swimming now really got decimated, and other people did a lot of shark attacks. I said, so there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat, 10 yards. Or here, do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking? Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted? Or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?

Because I will tell you, he didn't know the answer. He said, you know, nobody's ever asked me that question. I said, I think it's a good question. I think there's a lot of electric current coming through that water. But you know what I'd do if there was a shark or you get electrocuted?

I'll take electrocution every single time. I'm not getting near the shark.

So we're going to end that. We're going to end it for boats. We're going to end it for trucks. Wow. So there's a lot to think about here, and I would agree with the president.

I mean, if you're about to die, And you have a choice between getting eaten by a shark or being electrocuted, what's the better way to go? And I really do think that the better, quicker way is for you to get the shock. Right? I mean, I'm just saying.

Okay. Now One of the things, and this is one of the reasons why I don't like camping. Years ago, we were in college and we did a big road trip to Yosemite, and we were camping out, and somebody in the group Brought along bologna and those uh the Doritos. What are the flaming hot is it? Not no, those are the Cheetos.

The uh the Doritos. And you could smell you could smell that a mile away. And we were all very concerned because we were afraid that if the poor guy burped, that all of a sudden we would be. we would we would be facing down these giant bears looking for dinner.

So that's why I never go camping. Only because you don't have to be able to run fast, you just have to be able to run faster than your friends. You don't want to be the last guy in that bunch, and I'm not a fast swimmer or a fast runner. And the same thing in the swimming part of it. You don't want to be out there and you're the slowest swimmer because you know the shark's going to get you.

I mean, that's just the reality of it.

So anyway, um that's Thank you, President Trump. And again, another reason, everybody's upset with the sharks. The sharks are just doing what the sharks have always done. Right, and someone someone said it so um so lovely uh several years ago, they said. When you go into the shark, when you go into the water, you're going into the shark's home.

So what happens when you go into the shark's home?

Well, you're going to be eaten. And she said it's just like Oh, this lady said it's just like when a chicken comes into my home, guess what? The chicken's going to get eaten. It really is that simple. All right.

901-260-5926 is our number. That's 901-260-5926. So, look, over the weekend. Insane story happening across Europe as we are watching. A change that is happening globally.

I want to bring in our good buddy, Matt Schlap. He is. Oh, all right.

So we'll get to Matt in just a moment. We're going to be bringing Matt into the program. As a matter of fact, let's go ahead and take a break now. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

For the ones who know safety isn't a catchphrase, it's a culture. and the ones who help make sure everyone makes it home safe. For the safety minded who watch everyone's backs, Granger offers supplies and solutions for every industry as well as safety assessments and training to keep your facilities safe and your people safer. Call clickgranger dot com or just stop by. Granger.

for the ones who get it done. All right, folks, as promised, want to bring in Our good friend Matt Schlapp, and by the way, cpac.org, that's cpac.org. Matt, good to have you with us today. Hope you're doing well. It's been a while.

I'm doing great, Todd. I hope you're doing well, too. We got big news out of Europe. Great things happening. Yeah, look, this is pretty remarkable.

And we're looking at something happening on a global scale here. I think, or what's happening in Belgium and France, is this an anomaly, or do you think this is going to spread? No, this is going to spread. This is happening all over the world, and it's probably one of the most under reported stories. Mercy and I have spent a lot of time in Europe recently trying to work with these new parties and new politicians.

And it's a similar themes, stopping illegal immigration, stopping our kids being polluted with Gender theory and all the trans stuff, the war on faith, the war on families, the war on traditions and just the love of your country, a patriotism for the country Of your birth is, you know, shouldn't be radicalized by globalists. And you know, at CPAC, you were there, Todd. Our theme was where globalism goes to die. We didn't know it was a prediction, but it might have been. I love how they're framing this as right wingers.

When you look at the elections in France, I think every region of the country except for one went with the conservative candidates. Yeah, they like to call you far right. In Europe and in other countries, when you're kind of like a Reagan or Trump conservative, when you're pro-life, They use this moniker far right. And here in this country, we just call it conservatism. And that's really what it is there, too.

They don't use the word populism as much. But they do use the word sovereignty. Each one of these European countries has had A lot of their sovereignty taken away by the EU and by other global organizations and they want it back because you know what, Todd? Comes come to find out when you give your sovereignty away to globalists. They don't do what's in your national interest.

No, it's a fair point, and this is my concern with what's happening on our border and has been happening on the border, Matt, is that we're watching unfettered and an unfettered invasion of the country, and you've seen how that's played out. I mean, you and Mercy have been there. You've been in Europe, so you've seen it firsthand. What can we expect if we don't get that border under control? You're going to see millions of people voting in this election as they had have in other elections.

We've normalized the idea or at least communists in our country have that you don't have to have an ID. to vote or you don't have to prove your citizenship to vote. And I don't know how many people have come in over the border. I see estimates from ten to twenty million, but I mean, there's no way to prevent them from voting in these jurisdictions run by socialists who want them to vote. The great irony, Todd, is the more many of these people spend time in America, the more they kind of come our way.

in many ways. But at the beginning of this, it's all a political game To rig the elections. And they're seeing that in Europe. I will say this: Europe still has common sense voter regulations, and you'll notice. They stopped voting on Sunday.

We pretty much had the results on Sunday. Um it's a parliamentary system, so they have to tinker with lists. It's not always the name of a person that gets elected. You know, why can Europe find out what's going on in their elections immediately? And it takes us.

Weeks Days, months to figure things out. No, I think you're right. And then when you throw in what's happening with Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, President Trump possibly being sent to jail on July 11th, I hope that the American people here understand what's going on, that we are in the throes of a Marxist takeover here in this country. And I just hope we see people rise up like they've been doing across Europe. look at the coup and these new leaders we have Orban in Hungary, who's not new, and then we added this wonderful Prime Minister, Giorgio Maloney, in Italy.

And we have these great new leaders in these other countries like Portugal and in Spain and others. And you know, it's when when Mercian gets to talk with them, uh when the cameras are off. They they all know that if Donald Trump doesn't win in America, it's over. This is what freedom lovers understand in Asia. They understand it in Africa.

They understand it in Europe. They understand it everywhere. which is civilization is resting on America's Crazy and corrupt electoral system. And we're just going to have to get this job done. It's not just.

Our own kids and grandkids that are relying on us. It's civilization itself is relying. on us stopping this Marxist coup here in this country. This this cultural revolution which is destroying the underpinnings of Our society was just the family, moms and dads and kids. And if we lose this race, they're just going to get that much more cocky.

Matt, how do you see the conservative movement in America? Are we unified? It's hard to tell some days. And I'm wondering if that's a concern that you guys have at ACU and what we can do to fix that.

So what's going on in Europe, Todd, is these Conservative parties are gaining ground, but the center right parties don't like dealing with them. They want to deal with the left. They put their coalitions together with the left. We don't have a parliamentary system here in America, as you know, but Too many times the Republican Party is trying to pass big pieces of legislation with the Democrats. And what they ought to do is get together with the conservative independents and MAGA And we ought to stick together now.

MAGA can't do it without the Republican Party, but the Republican Party for sure can't do it Without MAGA and Conservatives. And we better realize this quickly that. there's neither one of us can claim to have more than fifty percent, so we got to work with each other. And get going along with the socialists time and time again on the big questions. We did it recently on FISA.

We've done it on spending for decades. And then we have these morons who say, oh, let's just come up with a truce on the Cultural issues, and once we give them what they want, essentially, they'll leave us alone.

Well, that turned out not to be true. Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage, they legalize Other things in our culture. And the next thing you know, we take God out of our public schools and they've replaced it with. You know, tranny reading hour. There's no truce on these issues.

What we have to do is win these issues, and we can win them if we stick together.

So I'm with you, Todd. Let's knit this thing together. We got about 8% of malcontents in the Republican Party who don't like Trump. We gotta play nice with them and get them on board. But what we really have to do is go after Democrats.

Who actually don't like communism? They don't want it in this country. They might like more government than you and I want, but they. They don't like the war on cops and the war on moms and dads, so I view there a lot of upside here in the coalition we have to knit together. Man, always good stuff.

And before we let you go, though, I'm curious, when we're you're and you're right, the media is not covering what's happening in Europe, and I think this is a huge story. Are there some countries that really surprised you by their embrace of the conservative values and the conservative movement? We went we spent a lot of time in Spain recently, and I think we ought to keep our eyes on Spain and Portugal. Not only do they have good new leaders in these parties, The people there, it's kind of funny. You walk around their cities, they don't have blue hair, they don't have 16 earrings.

You don't see trans flags. You d you just don't see that. There's an appreciation for tradition and family. You know, um they don't have the reputation for being the most religious. But by the same token, they're very respectful of the fact that religion plays a big role in our society.

By the way, I do think there's a revival going around on all over the globe. People are realizing that the alternative to not accepting God and accepting his Son is mass chaos and human suffering. I think a part of this conservative movement is a return to those really important tenets of our faith and our savior. I completely agree with that.

Well, Matt, we appreciate you taking time out. I know you're a busy fella, and we certainly appreciate the great work you are doing. And always good to see you on Newsmax, too. You too, Todd. Keep up the great work.

All right. Matchlap, everybody, from American Conservative Union, CPAC. That ORG CPAC will be very, very important this year. We've got to make sure we get out the vote, and we have to be unified. I mean, ultimately, I know there are many of you, and you may have a disagreement about this or that.

We have to unify. Once our candidates are nominated, just focus on beating the Democrats. That's what we've got to do here. All right, our telephone number is 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-260-5926.

Now, Matt mentioned about a revival. And I I believe that's happening across the world. But we need it to happen here. And one of the more devious things that's happened is that George Soros organizations have infiltrated not only the Roman Catholics, but also the Southern Baptist Convention. Those are the two largest religious groups in America.

And There has been an effort to disengage the Southern Baptists and the Catholics from the political arena. from the culture arena, and I believe they've been very successful at doing that. There are so many woke evangelicals leading churches across our country right now. And as a result, I believe that's one of the reasons we have seen this rotting, this decay of the culture in America. I mean, how else can you explain what's been going on just over the past couple of weeks as we're, what, ten days into an entire month called gay pride?

By the way, got a note from an elderly listener. And she was very sincere. She says, Todd, I don't understand it. Help me understand this. We celebrate gay pride for an entire month, but what about our military?

Why aren't we doing the same thing for them? Where are the celebrations for that? Hmm? Anybody? Hmm.

Interesting. Yeah.

So, we're going to be talking about this coming up. The Southern Baptist Convention is meeting today and I believe Tuesday and Wednesday in Indianapolis, Indiana. And they are facing some very important issues for their denomination. And we're not going to go deep into the weeds on the theology, but there are some things that you need to be paying attention to because you may not be a Baptist. You may be, I don't know, a Presbyterian or a Pentecostal or Assemblies of God or Lutheran.

Or one of the Methodist groups that still believes in the Bible. And you folks out there need to pay attention because this could be happening in your area. In your church, and you need to be aware of the warning signs. Because if the Southern Baptist Convention goes woke and then goes left and by the way, that's where all of this is going, then we're going to have huge problems in this country. If you think it's bad now, it's going to be a whole lot worse.

So I'd love to hear from you if you are a Baptist, if you're a Southern Baptist, if you're a Catholic, Because you guys have been in the throes of it for a much longer time. And it's causing chaos within your faith community.

So, our telephone number is 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. And in the meantime, you need to go over to my website and check out all of the great stories we have for you, including links to my brand new book, Twilight's Last Gleaming: Can America Be Saved? Would love for you to get a copy of that, and we can have it delivered just in time for Father's Day if you order on the Todd Starn Show store. All right, hang tight, everybody.

Hour three of the big show coming up, and it's going to be a big hour. We're going to be talking to a guy who wants to be the next president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and also one of the people that's trying to clean out the wokeness. Hang tight, everybody. We'll be right back. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.

That's why I love this American.

Well, hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. This is hour three of the big show, and we have got a lot going on this hour of the program. Welcome, everybody, and we're going to get to your calls in just a little while. By the way, coming up Friday, heading to Columbia, Tennessee, I'll be doing an event with our good friend Tommy Larin from Fox News, meeting with some great Republicans there in Columbia.

I believe Congressman Andy Ogles and Congressman Tim Burchett.

So we're going to have a lot of fun. We'll be signing a lot of copies of the book. And of course, you folks in Waterloo, Iowa, we're going to be coming to town in just a couple of weeks for the big book event there at Radio Station KXEL, our great affiliate there in Waterloo, Cedar Rapids. Our telephone number: 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-260-5926.

Well, we teased this conversation we're about to have in the last hour, and the Southern Baptist Convention meeting this week in Indianapolis, Indiana. And it really does seem like a pivotal point, an inflection point for the nation's largest non-Catholic denomination.

Well, I want to bring into the conversation two gentlemen who I believe will be able to give us some great insight into what is going on. We have on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker lines today David Allen, who is a distinguished professor of practical theology. He is the dean of the Adrian Rogers Center for Preaching at Mid-America Baptist Seminary, and he is running. He is a candidate for president of the Southern Baptist Convention. And also William Wolfe, who is very active on social media, executive director for the Center for Baptist Leadership.

Guys, good to have you with us today. Pleasure to be on here today. All right. Well, I'm going to start with you, William, because you've really been generating a lot of conversation, a lot of talk on social media about the concerns you have about the Southern Baptist Convention. And for our national audience, what is the big concern, the number one most pressing issue for the Southern Baptist?

Well, in general, Todd, I think the most questioning is most pressing question for Southern Baptists is are Southern Baptists going to be faithful to God's word or not on every issue that's pressing in on us? It's really a battle for the Bible again, just on a new battleground. Really, we fought this in the conservative resurgence over the inerrancy of Scripture.

Now really, we're fighting it on the sufficiency of Scripture to apply to a lot of areas of life. But this year, twenty twenty four in Indianapolis, Todd, we have a big vote to reaffirm our commitment to the idea that the Bible teaches only men can be pastors. That's one of our big votes this year. I know that in the and I've seen the headlines, and it's really funny to watch a lot of these national news reporters who have never even graced the door of a church try to explain all of this to their audiences. But I'm very interested in your take on the wokeness that has crept into the convention.

How is that manifesting itself? Yes, sure.

Well, the wokeness has certainly been coming into the Southern Baptist Convention over the last decade and even more rapidly over the last five years as it has everywhere else. But we saw our convention pass a resolution in 2019 that said critical race theory could be an analytical tool if used rightly. But Christians should know that you can't ever apply critical race theory as an analytical tool. It's an acid that eats away at everything good and righteous and holy. We've also seen some incidences of really climate activists and climate radicals platformed on some of our seminaries.

We've seen talk about white guilt, perpetual white guilt within the Southern Baptist Convention. And so really on critical race theory, DEI, we've seen DEI quotas being proposed. For filling committee spots at our churches, which that is being rejected by the corporate world now, but of course, Southern Baptists are just a little behind the times on rejecting it.

So we still need to stand strong and root out CRT, DEI, and other forms of wokeness here in the SBC. David Allen, you're running to be president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Do you share those concerns that William Wolf? I think William did a great job of sort of laying out some of the big issues. Yes, indeed, I do share those concerns.

And I think that so right now, Southern Baptists currently inhabit a no man's land, somewhere between a false greatness and a false insignificance. And people are, a lot of people have painted a target on the back of Southern Baptists these days. And part of that situation, that target, is valid. There is valid criticism. We've made some decisions in recent years that I think are unwise.

And we need to refocus. We need to redirect we need to course correct and move toward Faithfulness to the Bible, faithfulness to our doctrinal statement. particularly in these issues that William just mentioned as concerns. The role of the pastor being filled by a man only. Scripture is clear on that.

Southern Baptists have been clear on that in the past. but we need to make sure that we do not waffle on that as we move into the future. You know, Dr. Allen, I kind of laugh at people who take an issue with this. And my whole point of if you have a problem with that, well, don't be a Southern Baptist.

I mean, that's a pretty simple fix to that. I remember years ago, we had a group of parents, and their kids went to a private Church of Christ school, one of the best schools in the city. But they were very upset because their kids were being exposed to Church of Christ doctrine. And I'm thinking, okay, well, what did you expect? Your kids are at a Church of Christ school.

So, what do you say to the culture at large? I don't know if they get Southern Baptist, but what is it that you want the nation to know about the Southern Baptist Convention?

Well, the Southern Baptist Convention and Southern Baptists historically have been called a people of the book. The book, of course, being the Bible. Baptists are committed to Scripture. Whatever the Bible teaches, that's how we run churches and that's how we run our lives. And scripture is very clear on the issue of who can be a pastor.

And the role of the pastor and the office of the pastor cannot be distinguished. They are the same. The office and the role or function are identical. And 1 Timothy chapter 3 and other places are very clear that that role is to be filled by a man. And so Southern Baptists have historically and traditionally been complementarian in our understanding.

But the the culture at large has drifted so far away from the Judeo-Christian understanding of things and from a basic understanding of the Bible that that gets transmuted into, well, you all who are Southern Baptists hate women, you're misogynist. you want to keep them from having roles of leadership in our churches. Nothing could be further from the truth. That's not the case at all.

Now, the Bible is just clear that the role of a woman or that a woman cannot serve as a pastor of a local church, period. That's just the way that has been understood, not only by Southern Baptists, but by all conservative denominations, including the mainline denominations, all adhered to that 100 years ago. They don't today. But yes, it's very difficult to communicate that to culture today, the way they want to twist. things along those lines.

William Wolf and Dr. David Allen are joining us here for this half hour of the program. William, one of the things I've seen coming from people like David French and Russell Moore and the late Timothy Keller was the rise of this phrase Christian nationalism. And I'm not quite sure if people really understood what that was. But it seemed to be that a lot of pastors around the country are now terrified of being accused of Christian nationalism, so they're not talking about anything related to the culture in their churches.

Yeah, that's right, Todd. Really, Christian nationalism has been used as a cudgel word to try to beat faithful Christians of all denominational backgrounds in America out of the public square. They're happy for us to keep our convictions in our pews and in our private homes, but they don't ever want to see Christians bringing their biblical beliefs out to the public square and applying them to issues of public policy, of the most pressing issues in our country today, of life, of family, of marriage, of a nation state, of preserving the integrity of America and closing our borders and protecting our people. And in particular, they're coming after the Southern Baptist Convention with that attack because the Southern Baptist Convention is the largest non Catholic, the largest Protestant denomination in our country.

Some estimations say that Southern Baptists are actually 5% Of all of the American population, not just 5% of Christians, but 5% of the whole population. As we know, over 80% of white evangelicals in particular voted for Trump in 2016 and again in 2020. And so this effort to move Southern Baptists and American evangelicals off of a biblical commitment to conservative theology and applying that conservative theology in practice to a conservative political engagement is really an effort to try to weaken the conservative voting bloc in America. And if they can do that, well, then they can keep winning the elections. And so, first and foremost, we've got real theological issues, and that's what the Southern Baptist Convention is about.

It's about taking the gospel to the lost world, planning churches and missions. But we know that Jesus taught his disciples to obey all that I've commanded you, and that includes what we do in the political world as well. And we don't want to let these forces move us leftward any further. And Dr. Allen, I'm curious to get your take on this.

I wrote a book, Twilight's Last Gleaming, and Part of the book, I talk about the dangers of the Southern Baptists disengaging from the culture war, the culture fight. And I contend that that's one of the reasons why things are getting worse in the culture, is that the churches are pulling out. Do you see that to be the case in American culture right now? I do indeed. And the absolute worst thing and last thing that churches need to do, evangelical churches and Southern Baptist churches need the last thing they need to do is disengage from the culture.

We actually need to be engaged with the culture. Righteousness exalts a nation, the scripture says. And we need to be a part of what is happening in our culture, speaking into the culture, speaking biblically into the culture and living it out, living out our faith in our culture, thus making a difference. the concept of separation of church and state was never intended by our founding fathers to be interpreted to mean that Christians should stay out of public life or that they should stay out of government issues or that we should not be engaged in aspects of politics.

Now, we don't need to mix politics with the cross. There is a bad way to do that, of course. But nobody that really understands the issues is in favor of that. But we do need to be engaged with our culture, bringing to bear Scripture on what's happening in our culture. And that is the approach, I think, that all churches and all pastors, all evangelical churches and pastors need to be a part of, and they need to be engaged with.

Well, I'm so glad you said that, Dr. Allen. Otherwise, we would have to post a correction of my book, so it's already out in the bookstore.

So thank you for that. Hey, guys, I want you to hang tight. We've got to take a quick break here. And when we come back, William, I want you to address an issue involving the Covenant School and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. I think a lot of people are really concerned about the direction that that organization is heading.

We're going to talk about that coming up next. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Again, David Allen, who is running for the presidency of the Southern Baptist Convention, William Wolfe, the Executive Director for the Center for Baptist Leadership, are joining us. We'll be right back.

All right. All right, coming up 5 o'clock tonight on Newsmax. By the way, we've got a great, great lineup of guests, including the two gentlemen that are joining us right now on the radio: David Allen, who is running to be president of the Southern Baptist Convention, and William Wolfe, Executive Director for the Center for Baptist Leadership. And, guys, good news: at least with radio, you know, you don't have to wear a tie, you don't have to put on the makeup.

So, you know, my condolences for what's about to happen at 5 o'clock. All right, 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. William, I promised right before the break that we would talk about the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. And really, I would say, or would you say that's one of the more left-leaning organizations within the Southern Baptist Convention?

Well, absolutely. Rank and file, Southern Baptists, conservative Southern Baptists, which most Southern Baptists are, conservative, have been very frustrated with the leadership of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, again, at least for the last decade. Its former president, Russell Moore, was an adamant never Trumper, and he was pretty petulant in his opposition to Trump, while the vast majority of Southern Baptists were happy to support Trump when it came down to Trump versus Clinton and some even before that. And Russell Moore really engineered some nasty internal Southern Baptist politicking on his way out the door and has continued to berate us as he's left the convention, left the ERLC. But now his successor, Brent Leatherwood, is really following in his footsteps.

The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, over time and again, they seem to take up more left-leaning causes, pushing for increased refugee admission numbers, advocating what essentially boiled down to open borders policies in the United States of America, supporting bills that are opposed. By the vast majority of Republicans, which I think is a pretty good indicator of where Southern Baptist political instincts would be. They supported the most recent funding bill for more military aid to Ukraine, even though it did not even get a majority of support from the Republican conference. And that was really an issue they had no business being out there directly supporting and lobbying on. They got all in behind Senator Lankford's immigration bill, which he partnered with Chuck Schumer on.

Again, something that died in the Senate because there was no conservative support for it. It never had a chance in the House. Speaker Johnson said it would be dead on arrival. But we had our public policy arm of the Southern Baptist Convention out there supporting things like this. And as you mentioned earlier, the head of the ERLC, Brent Leatherwood, has been actively involved in trying to suppress the manifesto of the Covenant School shooter.

Now, I want to be clear and fair to Brent. His children go to that school. His children were not injured or killed in the event. Thank the Lord for that.

However, I think that there is a great public interest, particularly a Christian interest, in seeing the contents of that manifesto. And now that much of it has been leaked and released, we realize that what happened here is Audrey Hale was essentially groomed by violent LGBT activists and an agenda to hate white Christians in particular. And therefore, she targeted them and killed six people. I got to give Dr. Allen some time here because we're running up on the bottom of the hour.

Dr. Allen, that does seem to be a concern that the convention, for lack of a better term, is going soft on issues like the Bible's teachings on sex and gender and marriage.

Well, in some cases, I think that is true, and I think that is reflected in a number of areas, but the specific Statements here concerning the ERLC, I concur with because the ERLC is perceived as being out of step with the vast majority of Southern Baptists, and that is a serious problem. There is absolutely no reason why the contents of that manifesto of the shooter at the Covenant School should not be made public. We know enough of it now, as William said, that there was a clear agenda there influenced by the LGBTQ agenda in order to target Christians. And it's just unbelievable that anybody would attempt to squelch that. And so that is a problem.

And there are many other problems as well that are related to that. But yes, Southern Baptists are by and large conservative people. They are conservative people when it comes to sexual ethics, when it comes to issues of gender, these kinds of things. And I hope that the votes that are taken in the Southern Baptist Convention in her meetings tomorrow and Wednesday in official session will demonstrate that. Clearly to the world, to the evangelical world, but to the world at large.

All right, well, guys, we're going to have to leave it there. Dr. David Allen, William Wolf, gentlemen, best of luck to you in Indianapolis, and we look forward to continuing the conversation tonight on Newsmax. All right, folks, hang tight. Got to take a quick break.

901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, folks, welcome back to the Tom Sterns Radio Show. By the way, coming up in June 22nd, I'll be speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition's Road to the Majority Conference in Washington. Hope to see many of you there as we mobilize, as we get out the vote.

And let me tell you something about the Faith and Freedom Coalition. They do a better job of getting out the vote than the Republican Party does. You know, I don't know why. I've been in a good mood. A giving mood.

And so I want to do something here. We're going to give out a copy of my brand new book. It's called Twilight's Last Gleaming. Can America Be Saved? And here's the deal.

We are just, we're going to take caller, we'll take caller number five at 901-260-5926. Again, write down this number, 901-260-5926. Caller number five will win an autographed copy of the new book, Twilight's Last Gleaming. That number again, 901-260-5926. I want to play some audio here from this Vegas rally.

I just, again, I thought this was just incredibly tremendous. President Trump Celebrating um A birthday I want you to listen to cut number seventeen. Said happy birthday, thank you, darling. Don't tell me that, Adelaide. I don't want to hear that.

I don't want to hear it. Happy birthday to you. Thank you. It's a little pitchy, but yeah, I mean, it's very thoughtful of them singing happy birthday to President Trump there. I love that.

Oh, also, Trump, the president also making this pronouncement about men who play in women's sports, which has become a major, major issue, especially among female athletes. Cut number eight. Why are they destroying our country? Why is it that they're destroying our country? All of that stuff is going to end.

We're not going to have men playing in women's sports. We're not doing it. We're not doing it. All right. Well, thank you for that, mister President.

Meanwhile, over at the Texas Democratic Convention, they literally hauled out one of the ugliest drag queens I've seen. And the guy's up there and He's one of the speakers at the Texas Democrat Convention, promoting drag shows for children. Cut number four. I am a product of the Texas public school system. I have worked with children for over a decade, and I am now a full-time drag queen in Austin, Texas.

Sometimes I read books to children. In drag. Hehehehe And while some may argue that reading a book to children in a full-length, long-sleeved, hot pink gown and cotton candy coloured wig is inappropriate, the truth is that children are safer at a drag story time than at their own schools. All right, there you go, look, the Democrat Party, they are the party of the freak show. Let's go to the phones here.

Ted in Atwood, Tennessee, listening to us on WTJS, one of our great affiliates out in the western part of Tennessee. Hi, Ted. How are you today? I am doing wonderfully well and uh I cannot believe I won something.

Well, you haven't yet, Ted. I'm just talking to you right now. What makes you think you won?

Well, the little lady that I uh your call screener said To hold on to the line, and I said, I'll hold for sure and certain. All right. Well, it's a good thing you did, Ted, because you actually are the winner. Congratulations. Oh, thank you.

Absolutely. Yes, we're going to get you a signed copy of Twilight's Last Gleaming, Can America Be Saved. Ted, I'm curious, how are you feeling about the twenty twenty four presidential election? I'm starting to get a warm, fuzzy feeling, to tell you the truth. Is that right?

Yes, I think uh With all the shenanigans going on. I don't think the American public is as stupid as the Democrats think they are.

Well, I'm feeling the same way, and I am telling you, I don't want to get my hopes up, right? We've got to we have to be realistic. And but I'm telling you, I've got that warm, fuzzy feeling too, Ted. I think we're in for a really barn-burner of an election. For that is my those are my hopes and prayers.

And uh the reason I called is uh I noticed something on one of the uh I think it was the Communist News Network, CNN. this weekend Those guys, their parents have wasted their money on those college educations and journalism. They don't know the difference between the words released And rescued. in reference to the hostages. They came out and said the hostages were released.

I beg to differ with them, the Israeli Defense Force went in and rescued them. Oh, yes, they certainly did. And I loved it because the guest who was on CNN actually called him out live on air. I guess he saw we call it the lower third, the Chiron, and he said, wait a second. No, no, no.

This was not some sort of a hostage release, they were rescued. But once again, it's the quote supposed mainstream media. Um that coincides with Hamas. That's it. All they want is to keep chaos running.

Oh yeah. Through the election. and hoping that it'll uh It'll reflect uh it'll make people change their minds about reelecting uh Donald Trump Donald J. Trump.

Well said. All right, Ted, hang tight, don't go anywhere. We're going to get you a copy of the new book. Congratulations. And, folks, if you didn't win, we'll try to do this again later on in the week.

Feeling kind of generous this week. In the meantime, you can also go and order one. You know, it's interesting. We were running the numbers, and if every person listening to this radio program went and purchased a copy of Twilight's Last Gleaming on Amazon, in a matter of I don't know, Thirty minutes, we would be the number one. Best selling book on Amazon.

And actually, it's not everyone. We just need, like, I think 15 or 20,000 people to do that. Boom, we would be number one. That's all it takes, believe it or not, is about 15 to 20,000 of you.

So you never know. We could be in for a big surprise today. Anyway, 901-260-5926. Do you feel like, Ted, are you getting the warm, fuzzy feeling that something is brewing in the country, that something is afoot? I am.

I'm feeling great about it. But again, I don't want to get too giddy. Ju just yet. Oak Kabbalah. Kamala Mamala Mamala Kamala.

It got interrupted. by a one of these pro-Ambas goons over in Michigan. Yeah.

Uh cut number 11. President Biden and I have been working every day to to bring this conflict I'm speaking right now. And I value and respect your voice, but I'm speaking right now. We have been working every day to bring this conflict to an end. You know what they should have done?

They should have done the Kamala cackle. That would have gone over very well, I think. And I think it would have actually, their voices would have carried more. Hello, I am speaking right now. Who do you think you are?

All right, all right, Kamala. We get it. We get it. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

So MSDNC, they're running cover for Hunter Biden. And by the way, this thing could already go to the jury today. I mean, that's how fast it is. I mean, they've been dragging poor Trump out for weeks. And why?

They just wanted to keep Trump off the campaign trail, right?

So MSDNC says that Hunter Biden, no, no, no, it's he's dealing with the disease. And everybody has this disease that Hunter Biden has. Cut number 15. You could talk a little bit more about this. It seems to me that it would be very hard to find a jury that has been untouched by addiction completely.

Yeah, and the reason that I wanted to come forward and write about this is because even though I've been sober since I was a teenager, I felt that the disease that Hunter Biden has is the same disease that I have. It's the same disease that almost 20% of the country has. And Republicans do love to talk about fentanyl coming over the border. There's a reason that drugs are a problem in this country. And it's largely because of addiction.

So, this is fascinating. I had no idea that Hunter Biden was suffering from a disease. And I had absolutely no idea that Snorting coke and cavorting with hookers. Was like a disease. Where do you go?

What kind of a prescription do you get for that down at the Walgreens? Hello, I've got a cocaine and hooker addiction. I need some NyQuil, please. I Does it come in liquid form or is it just pill form? I'm just asking.

All right, hang tight. We got to take a break. Coming up, our good buddy Art Alley is going to drop by from the Timothy Plan. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

All right, folks, don't forget 5 o'clock Easter Newsmax 2. You can watch our show live on so many OTT platforms, Roku, Amazon. You can also watch on the Newsmax 2 live feed on YouTube as well as Facebook.

Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Always an honor to talk to our friend Art Alley. He is the founder of Timothy Plan. TimothyPlan.com is the website. That's TimothyPlan.com.

Art, hope you're doing well today. Man, it is warm in Florida, but I'm doing good. How are you doing? Yeah, we're doing good here. It's like three hundred degrees or something in Arizona or Vegas, so at least we're not there.

That's right. That's right. Art, before we jump into some of the stories I want to talk about, we have so many new listeners. Of course, we just launched in Houston, Texas on Patriot Talk 920. And a lot of folks may not be aware of what you guys do at Timothy Plan and how you can actually help all of our great listeners across the country.

Wow, man, I may still have some friends in Houston. We used to live there. Uh but yeah. This is great. What we do in a nutshell, thanks for asking.

is we are a mutual fund family like all the rest, but what sets us apart is we applied biblical screens to what we allow our money managers to invest in for our shareholders. In other words, Corporate America, in way too many cases, especially the big boys. are funding an unholy agenda, whether they're involved in abortion or pornography or promotion of the LGBT, however many letters they got. alcohol, tobacco, consumer gambling. We are a pro life, pro family, mutual fund family.

And the average listener would have no idea. In most cases, where the money God's entrusted to them is actually invested. And we can help them with that. We can let them know. But we won't own companies that are trying to destroy us, basically, Todd.

And you guys have been doing this for more than 20 years now, Art, and it's all about helping investors achieve their financial goals while investing in a morally responsible way. And this is the question I know people are listening. They heard everything you just said. They agree 1,000% with everything you just said. But they're also thinking right now, well, wait a second, how in the world can I possibly do well with my investments if I should not be investing in all those companies?

Well, you know, you never go wrong by doing the right thing. And we have proven, and actually, we've celebrated thirty years now, Todd. Wow. two point five billion dollars in investor assets, we're small compared to the humagus guys, but You know, we have proven over time you do not have to compromise your biblical principles. Nor should you, in my opinion.

but we've proven you don't have to to get competitive investment returns. And do you advise say I mean, at what age should people actually start investing? What age should they get involved, get themselves an account over at TimothyPlayant.com?

Well, you know, we don't have minimums really, a thousand dollar minimum for non-retirement accounts. But you cannot start too early. And I've been doing this for almost fifty years now. And I've proven to people the earlier you start, The more you end up with, then you don't have to put as much money in. Uh but most people in too many cases, I'm sorry, but they live beyond their means They buy stuff they don't need.

They charge it on credit cards, run up a bunch of debt. the real key to financial success Is number one, get out of debt and stay out of debt, live within your means. Number two, have a nice Nest egg for when the car breaks down or the refrigerator breaks down, so you don't have to go into debt, and then you're ready to start investing. It's a long-term process. But over time People have always done very well when they've followed that model.

We may have some high school kids. Maybe they're listening to talk radio out there. They're mowing the grass. Maybe they've got a summer job or they're launching a summer business. And this is the moment.

Go to TimothyPlan.com and maybe save up your money that you're earning from your summer job and start investing now. And to your point, imagine what those accounts would look like 30, 40, 50 years from now. Oh, my God. My goodness. By the way, there's a There's a survey out there.

I want to get your attention. You mentioned the debt. 83% of Americans rely on credit cards for summer vacations. Is that true?

Well, I think that hasn't changed a lot. You know, people. They have this attitude, Todd. It's not really money, you know, if you charge it. But it is money and then money plus money with interest.

Uh people are Uh up to their Next in debt today. Because inflation, you know, the ends don't meet, so you charge the difference. And the only thing I know for sure, Todd, is you cannot borrow your way out of debt.

So yes, way too many people are charging way too much But it has it's gotten to be the culture that we live in. that encourages that. And it's a shame. I'm always stunned by these young kids that are just out of college and they're going on these lavish vacations. And I'm like, geez, Lou, lavish for me was, I don't know, going to the movie theater back in the day.

That was pretty much all I could afford: going to the local park. And then you could get changed back from your dollar if you went to McDonalds, for gonna say. That's it. You had to bring that up, didn't you, Arn? I'm already I'm still sore about that.

I know. I know, I know. But the attitude is not really money is a poisonous attitude. It is really money. the fact that you're not forking over paper dollars for something means you're charging it on a credit card.

You've got to pay it back and you've got to pay it back with interest, which means that vacation cost you a whole lot more than you thought it did.

Well, you're right about that. All right. Art, we got to leave it there, my friend, but it's always good hearing from you. And thank you so much. You're doing kingdom work here, and you've got a great team, and they're helping out so many people around America as they really rethink the way they invest their their money.

Yes, sir, and you are the shining light for America. Thank you for what you do. Yes, sir. All right. The great art alley, everybody.
