Biden Seeks to Imprison 70-year-old Christian Grandmother

About a lady that you probably know somebody like this at your church, somebody maybe in your neighborhood. Her name is Rebecca Laverne's.

And Rebecca is seventy years old. She is a great grandmother, by the way. She's re a r a retired registered nurse and owns a bed and breakfast. Seventy years old, and she lives in Colorado Springs. She is a devout woman of God, and she is a praying.

Woman of God.

Now I want to share what's happened to this woman because if it can happen to Rebecca It could happen to anybody.

So she received a visit from the FBI on April the twenty sixth in twenty twenty one, and she welcomed them into her home, and she agreed to sit down for an interview.

So Rebecca was was in attendance in Washington, D.C. at the Stop the Steel rally. Ah, on the mall. And then after that, the crowd from there moved to the U. S.

Capitol building.

Now I want to read to you from the actual complaint that was filed by the FBI against Rebecca, the seventy-year-old grandmother, beautiful woman, by the way. The she approached the U. S. Capitol and she observed that the physical barriers on the Capitol grounds had been removed.

So All of this is documented on video.

So Rebecca was there and she saw that this man had pushed past a barrier and had entered the Capitol building, and nobody was chasing after this guy. The police let him by. And then the crowd pushed aside the barriers, and people were allowed inside the main door of the U.S. Capitol. And so Rebecca followed the crowd in, and she spent about 10 minutes.

And all of this is on video, where you can see that she's literally praying. And then she left the Capitol building.

So she provided the agents with a photograph of herself at the Capitol. And uh She said that she was the person wearing a red scarf and a white hat.

So she was immediately charged, her passport was confiscated, and she was released on bonds. And so now She is facing Time in federal prison. She's on trial. And this is absolutely obscene. Because the police officers actually welcomed this woman into the building.

And going back to whatever happened on January the 6th, and we've been pretty clear about this from day one: that whoever broke the law on that day should pay the price. But if you are a citizen and the Capitol Police are moving aside the barricades and are inviting you into the building, that's not a crime. And nobody ought to be charged for being there if they were invited into the building by the Capitol Police.

Now, there's no doubt that Rebecca is a conservative. And there is no doubt that she is a person of faith.

Now, the Colorado Gazette did an interview with her. And she says that she was called of God to be there. She says, quote, I felt like I was there on an assignment from God. And she said that her job there was to pray. She now faces four federal misdemeanor charges for entering the Capitol building.

And she spent about ten minutes inside. Agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force reviewed surveillance camera footage and confirmed her version of the event.

So she was, you know, the agents asked her questions, she was open, she was honest. And all of the video evidence backs up everything she said. Rebecca Says, just standing up for my country now makes me a criminal. It's not right. It feels so weird to be here.

One of her four children. By the way, was Is leading the charge, and they have a legal defense fund and all that stuff set up for this woman. But she says, I've been a lifelong lover of truth, and I felt something went really wrong with the 2020 election, and I hate injustice. She said, It didn't take me long to figure out God was saying to go there. I do what I can in prayer and I put action to my faith.

So she literally drove twenty five hours from her home fasting and praying throughout the trip. She wore a red scarf and a white hat. to the rally. There were a group of people praying outside the Capitol, and she joined them in prayer for about an hour and a half. She says it was a patriotic, joyful time to be around so many people who love their country.

I felt a strong presence of the Spirit of God fall over me, and I started crying. She says, My mission in life is to know God and to make his ways known and restore the country back to its godly foundation. Without God, there is no justice.

Now, I want to read to you from the official arrest affidavit, and I'm going to get to the question here in just a moment. The arrest affidavit goes on to say. That when a man finally succeeded in pushing past a barrier and entering the capital. Rebecca observed that none of the police officers chased him. When the crowd eventually pushed aside the barriers, allowing people to stream through the main door of the U.

S. Capitol on the east side, Rebecca followed and entered as well. She said her. Her mission was to bring God inside the capital with her presence. She said she followed the crowd and stayed within the ropes that blocked people from entering certain parts of the building.

By the way, for a rioting mob, it was one of the most well behaved and orderly, right? Then you you were si you remember the video. Everybody was staying within the roped areas. She says, I didn't say anything, didn't shout, didn't wave, didn't see any violence when I was in the Capitol. There was no damage.

I felt God's presence in me and just made my presence known to let Congress know we the people voted them in office. And we were saying you need to listen to what we're saying. Video footage, according to the FBI. Shows her entering the Capitol at 243 and exiting the building at 253. And now She could spend who knows how many years in federal prison.

She says, I sat in a prison for three hours, they let me out of my on my personal recognizance, took my passport, put me on probation and told me to let the officer know if I was going to travel anywhere. She is now charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct.

Okay, what is the disorderly and disruptive conduct? She is literally on camera. Praying. Is that a crime now in America? She is charged with disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol.

Prosecutors contend that she entered the Capitol without having the authority to do so and in the process violated four laws. She refused a plea deal the prosecution offered last year.

Now So far More than 1,358 people have been charged with some sort of a crime, a federal crime, related to what happened on J-6. And there are about 500 new cases that are expected to come. This thing is far from over. One man. in Colorado, sentenced to sixty-three months in prison.

So my question is this, ladies and gentlemen. Do you believe that Do you believe this woman should go to jail? And it seems to me, the moment the police step aside and welcome you into the building, at that moment. That means it's okay to go inside the building. Otherwise, the police would say, no, you cannot come in here.

No, you cannot move these barricades. But if the cops are moving the barricades and they're welcoming people into the building, then there's no crime. But again, we really don't know what happened on that day because nobody wants to talk about it. By the way, where are all of the videos that Speaker Mike Johnson assured us were going to be released? All of those have yet to be released.

This troubles me, ladies and gentlemen, because there are so many good and decent people.

Now you may say that this lady sounds overtly religious.

Well, that's not a crime in America. It's okay to be overtly religious in America. This woman was literally practicing her faith. And as based on all the testimony and all the video evidence, the only thing she did wrong was pray inside the Capitol building. If that is in fact a crime, who knows these days?

So, I'm curious to know from you: do you have a problem with our government? Going after Good and decent people for whatever happened on J-6. And I ask that because President Trump. Has vowed to To pardon all of these people. If he is elected.

And this has enraged people like Karl Rove.

Now, here's Karl Rove over on Fox just yesterday, cut number 18. And one of the critical mistakes made in this campaign is that Donald Trump has now said, I'm going to pardon those people because they're hostages. No, they're not. They're thugs. There were people, some of them had automatic weapons at a hotel in Virginia hoping to be able to be called up.

We had people saying, where's Nancy Pelosi? We had people who were, you know, taking desks and sitting at the desk of the Speaker of the House and attempting to find people in order to bring them to justice and saying to the yelling at the police, kill them, kill them all. And so why Trump has done this is beyond me. If he had said, you know what, I trust our jury system. I trust law enforcement.

Anybody who assaulted the Capitol ought to be I mean, he said it once or twice, but now he's appearing in a video with people who assaulted police officers with an intent to take the Capitol by force. But it's not true. By the way, this guy is a snake. Carl Rove calling the seventy-year-old grandmother who loves Jesus Christ. A thug.

So, again, ladies and gentlemen, the fact of the matter remains: there are those who committed crimes, and they should pay for those crimes. And my understanding is they are paying for those crimes. But When you have people like this sweet grandmother from Colorado Springs, Colorado. who could be spending the rest of her life in prison for what praying inside a building that she was invited to go into? Does that make her a thug?

So I say it's I I appreciate President Trump coming out and saying, you know what? A lot of these people did nothing wrong. And they should be pardoned. And I completely agree with that. 901-260-5926 is our number.

Now, hear me on this. I'm sure there are some very decent. patriotic FBI agents in in the bunch. But there are far too many bad apples, and you just can't trust them.

So unless they have a warrant, you don't need to tell them anything and you don't need to let them inside your home. Front porch'll do just fine. But you should be getting as there's a knock on the door, you need to be on the phone with your attorney. Tell the FBI they can talk to your attorney. All right, let's go to the phones here.

Now we're going to talk to Richard from Georgia. And Richard, I understand that you had a family member that got caught up in all of this. Yes, sir. My first cousin drove up from Florida. to go to the Trump rally that day.

And he videotaped the entire thing. And uh Yeah, it does. He posted it on Facebook. showing the security guards or the police waving people in, and he went in. There was no violence going on at all where he was, just like your previous caller was talking about.

And uh w the lady that you were just talking about and uh no violence whatsoever. And He went outside to, they did have a protest thing going on outside, hooping and hollering and all that, but not inside the building. And about two weeks, three weeks later, The FBI showed up with the SWAT team at his house Handcuffed him and arrested him. With the SWAT team? They showed up with the SWAT team?

Yes, sir. Yes, sir. the videos that he took of all of this stuff happening to him, they confiscated. They pulled it down off of Facebook. I got to see it before they pulled it down, and there was no violence whatsoever on what was going on.

His trial, you're talking about having a jury and all of that, consisted of a judge that just said guilty. And they put him in jail, and he just served seven months in jail. He just got out of the federal penitentiary up here in Atlanta, Georgia. for seven months. He was in there with the hardliners.

And he has been proclaimed a domestic terrorist. He lost his house. They told his children, they interviewed his children and said his adult children had anything to do with him anymore, that they would come after them. What? Yes, sir.

So so what is he doing what is he doing now? He's doing the musical gigs and such like that. I mean, he's He's in his fifties, his late fifties, but You know, he lost it. He's lost everything that he had because of all of this. Does he regret being there and going into the building?

Negative. He's actually filed an appeal. He's filed several appeals. They just now approved. He got out of jail about three months ago, and they just now approved a hearing.

It's a hearing Appeal that he's he needs to get his name cleared up because. He had all the evidence to prove that he did nothing wrong, but all of that was taken, and he doesn't know where any of that is now.

Well, I'm sure that the videos and the surveillance videos, I'm certain, would be able to exonerate your family member, your cousin, there. If, in fact, they would release all of that. But, Richard, and we're coming up on a hard break here, and I appreciate you calling in. And I wish you guys nothing but the best. And I hope everything gets cleared up.

But, folks, I'm telling you, this was done to send a message because when Trump got elected on inauguration, there were riots. People were protesting. Dozens of Secret Service agents were injured. When the mob stormed the White House, they tried to burn down St. John's Church.

Not a single person went to federal prison for that. Not a one. In the George Floyd riots people were getting slaughtered. Buildings were burned to the ground. Stores were looted.

Nobody's spending federal time. Nobody's doing any federal time.

Well. I gotta tell ya. Democrats are out there, and they want you to believe that it's Donald Trump who is the one calling for violence. And what they're doing, the Democrats are very sneaky, these people, and they've got the power of the legacy media behind them. And right now They are laying the groundwork to legitimize attacks against America first conservatives out on the campaign trail.

That's what they're trying to do here. They're trying to dehumanize you. Conservatives. But it's actually the Democrats who are out there promoting the violence. Cut 17.

We have to have peace. We have to have law and order. Peacefully and patriotically, make your voices heard. I unequivocally condemn the violence. I said, no.

I said, if we were in high school, I'd take you behind the gym and beat the hell out of him. I will go and take Trump out tonight. Too many see the protests as the problem. Please show me where it says that protests are supposed to be polite and peaceful. Go to the hill today.

Get up in the face of some congresspeople. And if you see anybody, From that cabinet. In a restaurant, you get out and you create a go. And you push back on them. And you found them, they're not welcome.

Running away from Donald Trump. I think you need to go back and punch him in the face. They go low, you can. You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there's unrest in our lives. They're still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump, and that's a fact.

All right, there you go. Folks, we could have played an entire three hours of attacks. And threats of attacks coming from Democrats.

So we're going to keep this up. Again, there is going to be a major narrative. That Republicans are the ones who are dangerous, that it's Republicans who are violent, and that's simply not true. Simply not true. 901 260 5926 is our number.

Biden at 45%, 8% are undecided. But again, yesterday, Newsmax had battleground states. And Trump is up in all of the battleground states. Every single one of them. As a matter of fact, here is the reporting from NBC News.

That new polling from the Wall Street Journal shows President Trump leading. in six battleground states. A major reversal from 2020, where Biden won all but one. Joe Biden was asked about this. Mrs.

Doctor First Lady, and she was Oh, she was miffed. By CBS News, cut number 21. But when these polls like the Wall Street Journal one land in the White House and he's losing in all the Battleground states, no, he's not losing in all the Battleground states. Oh, but what? He's coming up and he's even or doing better.

So, you know what? Once people start to focus in and they see their two choices, it's obvious that Joe will win this election. It's obvious that John's gonna win this election. Oof Mercy She is she is fired up, that one.

So when including third party candidates, Trump has a lead ranging from two percent to eight percent in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. Given a choice between just Trump and Biden, voters backed Trump once again at similar margins. Wisconsin is the only swing state that Biden led in the multiple candidate situation, and they were tied in a one-on-one matchup. What's wrong with you people in Wisconsin? Come on now.

Let's go to the phone lines. Cheryl listening to us in Georgia. Hi, Cheryl. What's going on? Hey, Todd, I I've called in before, but I I just had to call in.

This whole january sixth thing is such a setup. Everybody knows it. It boils my blood. I can't even bear to listen to it and these stories about these people. It's so unjust.

And all of the media stuff that you just played, it's not going to go away. until Trump's elected. And if he's not elected, we are so in trouble, I don't even know I don't even want to go there. But it's not going to go away until Trump is elected. But I will say the more they do this, The more People are going to go to Trump because.

The undecided when they see it hear about these grandmothers and this guy's cousin and just people like you and me? They they're gonna be like, They could come after me. Yes, they could. And here's the challenge, Cheryl.

So when I hear these kinds of stories, it gets me fired up. And that makes me more determined than ever to get out and vote and to bring somebody along with me to go and vote. But there are a lot of conservatives out there, and Cheryl, you may know some of these people. And they get terrified. They're like, oh, wow.

Well, I don't want to go to jail. I don't want somebody to target me. I'm just going to stay home. I'm going to pull down the shades. You know, there are people like that on our side.

There are, but I think that there are more of us than there are of them in that. And we will we do need to bring them with us. And the thing that I don't understand is there is proof. that the FBI was infiltrated, that you know, Trump offered the National Guard What? They're breaking the laws.

I don't understand. Our administration is the breaking the laws, and the Republicans do nothing about it. I'm I'm I I I just it it just blows my mind. We are, what, about seven months away from the elections, Cheryl, and only one person has been impeached. That would be Alejandro Mayorkas.

That's it. I think that, and by the way, we've spent millions of dollars on these hearings, on Hunter Biden, the Biden crime syndicate, the JSICS committee, and nothing's going to be resolved. And that's a big problem. I think that we do need a major committee to look at what happened on J-SICS, if nothing else, to exonerate all of these good and decent people like the grandma here and the previous caller, his cousin. There are plenty of Americans who were there that day, law-abiding and peaceful.

And you're right, Cheryl, they're not telling us how many FBI agents were involved in the planning and execution of that day, and they're not explaining why they turned down the National Guard troops that President Trump talked about in those conversations. There are There are far too many big questions that need to be answered. Absolutely, and we need to vote in some real conservatives who will actually do something. There's too many that are. just waffling and just or just want a seat in the paycheck.

We need to get rid of them.

Now the the Biden DOJ Is now looking at sending her away. They want prison time for this woman. And they accuse her of stealing the diary. It was not stolen. It was left behind at some sort of a halfway house.

Man, that whole family's messed up. Sweet Lord Anyway, Amy Harris. could be doing a hard time in a federal prison because she took the diary that Ashley Biden left behind.

Now she sold that diary to Project Veritas for tens of thousands of dollars. And if nothing else, the DOJ has now verified. That The diary is in fact real, and the diary Does in fact belong to Ashley Biden.

So that's really the big headline here. Aside from the fact they want to send this girl to prison. But here's my question. What about all the The allegations that are written about In The Diary What's that all about? When you look at the actual diary entries, There were a lot of Insane allegations made about Ashley Biden talking about molestation, being assaulted.

two six zero five nine two six. It's all very strange. Instead of going after this young lady who found the diary and sold the diary. Instead of that, what they ought to be doing is investigating The claims that are made in Ashley Biden's diary. I mean this is This is crazy.

And it's disgusting. And it's perverted. And it's super creepy as well. But clearly, a lot of stuff is going on, and folks, I'm telling you, it is not right. This entire Justice Department has been weaponized to take out anybody, anybody who is a conservative.

All right, let's go to Arnaz in Memphis, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM. Hi, Arnaz. What's on your mind? Hey, how you doing?

Well, like you just said with the previous caller, we're seven months out from the election. And my thing, one thing I'm watching closely is the House, the Republican. the House Republicans especially. Because You know, so we we've had we've had so many people drop out. And retire between Retire in the last few months.

I mean, is there a chance that they even have the house before November? And even if we get to No even if the Republicans get to November, how like what is that going to look like? And what are they going to look like after November at that? It's a fair question, Arnaz. There are a lot of concerns that you could end up having the Republicans lose the speakership.

I would contend that, that may not necessarily be a horrible thing, only because the Republican leadership right now, they're behaving just like the Democrats, and they're doing the bidding of the Democrats.

So I'm not quite sure we're going to see that much of a change in ideology, to be honest with you. And and and my th and and and another thing is this, it's like With the R with with um Barbara Trump. at at the head of the RSP. and basically saying that All that money. Is being is going to basically go towards re-electing Trump.

What does that mean? What does that mean for down ballot candidates across the board? Because we see because we've seen over we've seen over the last six to nine months you know, these Republican field offices, you know, Especially, especially in Michigan. I mean, that's a whole nother story for another date. But We've seen all these field offices in different states how they're either.

Reading staff. Leading, Bonnie. And you have an election coming up, and they have no shield, they have no sword, they have no helmet. But also, and you have an RSC that pretty much is saying that you're going to be stuck on your own. And how like how does that look in November when you're trying to Higher Were you trying to hire staff?

Were you trying to Try to pay for television ads, radio spots, rallies. Like How like Arnaz, let me see if I can't answer that for you.

So there's some new data that just came in late last night. Showing that Trump and the new leadership at the RNC raised more than $65 million in March.

So they've got almost $100 million in the campaign accounts. How that is parsed out, and we'll do a deeper dive into this, maybe not today, but we may try to do this tomorrow. How all of that is parsed out. Look, if you are a candidate, you are still responsible for getting out there and raising your funds. I mean, that's just that goes with the territory.

The big problem is a lot of these state Republican groups are broke. They got no money. And that's a big challenge.

Now, that's not on Trump. That's on the local state leaders, local and state leaders, and they've got to get out there and they've got to get behind Trump and they've got to start raising funds so they can support these local damn ballot races, as you were talking about. But all of that, and what's happening with Speaker Mike Johnson, Arnaz, I appreciate the call. We're going to have to skedaddle here, but to bring it back to Speaker Johnson. His behavior and his lack of leadership.

is going to hurt donations. And we can't have that.

So the next big battle is whether or not we should be funding Ukraine. And Speaker Johnson has indicated that he's going to work with the Democrats to get Ukraine funding.

Are you getting ready for the eclipse? Any of you folks going to be traveling to be in what is it, the totality zone? Is that what they're calling it? Just curious. nine oh one two six zero five nine two six.

A lot of people are talking about the eclipse, and some people are really freaking out about this, suggesting that this could be the rapture. That this is the end of the world as we know it. And some people are really freaking out about all of this.

So I'm just curious. I mean, is that you? Do you? I mean, they're talking about, well, The eclipse is going to be crossing a number of towns named Nineveh. And it's going to be encompassing the Ark Encounter.

Our good buddy Ken Hamm. And now they're saying as a result of that that it could be like the rapture or some sort of a national emergency. And a lot of the states, by the way, have implemented states of emergency only because of all of the people that are going to be traveling so they can be in the totality zone. Anyway, a forecast looking pretty good, I think. People are concerned about cloud cover.

But they're saying that if you really do want to be in the eclipse, it needs to be the path of totality, it needs to be 100%.

So I'm curious to know if you're going to be going out there. A lot of people in the Memphis area are literally driving over to Arkansas.

So they can hang out in the dark for a couple of hours and then they're coming back home. I don't know. Are you buying, though, all of this? The fear ma I guess it's fear maundering. But a lot of people saying that there is some sort of a religious symbolism here, a lot of religious imagery.

And uh this could be this could be the big one. And that we could all get raptured up.

So what if I was thinking about this last night? What if The only people that get raptured up are the people in the path of totality. The rest of us are just stuck around. We have to live in tribulation times. I'm going to go back and read my Left Behind novel just to make sure.

And by the way, I want to share this information with you because a state of emergency has now been declared in parts of New York ahead of the big solar eclipse on April the 8th. Cut number 20.

Essex County, New York's Board of Supervisors has preemptively declared a state of emergency ahead of Monday's total solar eclipse. Chairman Sean Gillian says this is to prepare for congested roadways and disruption of cell service as thousands and thousands of people are expected to flood into the county. The state of emergency is set to go into effect at 9 a.m. on April 6th and last through April 10th. All right.

It's I I don't know. It's uh people are saying this is this is some sort of a false flag. I don't know how that could be. They're saying it's the end of the world as we know it, that the Chinese are going to invade. Could be.

I don't know. But people are really getting riled up about this. All right.

It's gonna get dark. And then it's not. Right, and that's that's pretty much it. I mean, I have to tell you, it's going to be pretty cool, I have to imagine. And I remember back in the day when I was a kid, we had the eclipse, and it was pretty awesome.

But I don't know. A lot of people are really losing their minds over all of this stuff. A lot of people are very nervous about it. Let's go to the Patriot mobile newsmaker line. Robin Poppin, are you in like a bunker or something?

Are you prepared for. Yeah. Yeah. No, this this is nonsense. Uh there was an eclipse a couple of years ago.

And my husband and I, we were in New Jersey in Atlantic City, and we drove up to Asbury Park to the beach, the Jersey shore for those who have been there and your listening audience. And all these people are walking around with the goofy sunglasses and we're like, oh, okay, we'll get a pair And then we looked at the eclipse on the beach, you know, took a couple of pictures and moved on with our day. You know what I'm saying? Like, I think it's a lot of hype. I think it's anything to distract from uh the illegal aliens who are busy uh raping, murdering and burglarizing people, frankly.

Yeah, I'm with you. I just closed my eyes and I thought, oh my gosh, we've just had an eclipse. I closed my eyes. That was all. I opened it, and boom, there was the light again.

All right.

Robin, a lot to talk about. And I know it's been a while because you have been out and about. But I wanted to get your take on something that happened over the weekend. You had Reuters once again taking President Trump out of context. They accused him of calling all the illegal immigrants or whatever animals.

And that was not the case at all. The President was referring to the people who killed Lake and Riley as animals, as not human. And again, it just seems to me, Robin, I know that you've taught journalism on the college level. Does this irritate you as much as it irritates me? It does because they're constantly playing this game of word salad where they extract a word, whether it's blood bass or the Affordable Care Act known as Obamacare.

They call them migrants instead of what they really are, which is illegal aliens. There's a lot of this word salad going around. And the Vice President, Kamala Harris, she has a master's degree in word salad. And um it's very frustrating. And I'll tell you, I I haven't talked about Um the people that I reported to were extremely liberal.

And why are you teaching it this way? Why are you teaching it that way?

So until I can get an adjunct professorship at a university that is interested in teaching truth and journalism, I'm happy to look at offers. But I would tell you that the universities I personally attended this week are asking me for money, Todd. It's National Giving Week or whatever it is, and I'm not giving them a penny because of all this liberal indoctrination and the word salad and how dishonest the press is. And then you also have on the T V level, because I know your listeners are really tuned into this. you go over to the MSNBCs and the CNN's and the mainstream media, ABC and all those shows, right?

And they're e they even have editors that are guilty of this where they'll edit out a sound bite completely out of context And then run with it, repeat the word a hundred times as if they all get a memo every morning what the word of the day is, and then it catches on to what I call the sheep in America, the people, the low information voters in this country that really don't are not involved in the news, don't watch and read as much as you and I do, and they're like duped. They're duped into it. Oh, Trump said this, Trump said that.

Well, not really. If you go back and look at the original context, it's not what he said at all. Yeah, and people, their attention spans are short. They've got other stuff to do. And you're right, you and I, we kind of live in this world, we deal with this every single day.

But I think a great example was the whole Easter Sunday nonsense with the Transgender Visibility Day. The media had a field day with that. But again, I'm looking at the words here. A proclamation was issued for the transgender people. A proclamation was not issued for Easter Sunday.

I mean, that's just those are the facts. And words like that matter. And the media knows that. And I just think it hurts the country, Robin, because we have to have a fourth estate that is strong and vibrant and is holding the government accountable. It's true, and I'll tell you what else is offensive, that you have an Easter egg roll at the White House, and then there's a memo issued that you can't draw a little cross on your Easter egg.

You can't have any sort of Christian symbols on an Easter egg.

Well, the whole holiday is a Christian holiday.

So that makes no sense. Again, that goes back to the war on Christmas from years ago. And they're constantly trying to erase a religion and take Christ out of Christmas. And it's very irritating. These holidays should stand on their own.

The Jewish holiday of Hanukkah is not the Christian holiday of Christmas. Every holiday is different. It has a different symbol. Passover is not Easter, and Easter is not Passover, even though it falls in the same time of the year.

So I think that there's a lot of ignorance out there. And you mentioned universities. What's going on in our universities is all part of the liberal agenda that's been in play for the last twenty, thirty years. Yeah. where you have this indoctrination down to the lowest level of kids.

Um, you know, 9-11 not being taught in the school system, being taken out of textbooks, and I could go on and on. It's clearly frightening because we're raising a group of young people that don't know a thing about history. And when you know nothing about history, if you don't know why the State of Israel was created in the first place out of the Holocaust, you are bound to repeat that history. And that's what we saw on October 7th. And there are young people in this country under the age of forty that have no clue what you and I are talking about.

And they need to open up a book. The problem is the books, the information has been erased.

So you have to go to other sources. And it's really a shame. And that also goes, Todd, to taking down statues in this country. How are you going to learn about American history if the statues have been removed? Whether that history is good or bad, people can feel about our history however they want to feel about it.

But the point is it should be there for you to learn. That's my point. On the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, our good friend and great journalist Robin Poffman. Robin, you're a woman, and I need to ask you about something womanly, if that's okay. Sure.

So we're going to play some audio. There's a young lady on social media, and she's very upset. She cannot find a boyfriend. And one of the reasons why is, and she thinks this is the reason why, is that she has a full beard. And this is intentional.

She wanted to grow a beard. Let's listen to cut number one. No one's gonna marry you Haranam. Like you have a beard. No one's gonna date you.

You have a beard. No one's gonna be your boyfriend, Haranam. You have a beard. You are not a preference to a lot of men. And then I'll get like really feminine men message me, but that's not who I'm attracted to.

I like really masculine men. Because I am very soft. I'm so different to what you see like on TV. You know, on TV. I mean, but no, generally, you'll see, oh, she's strong, she's, you know, what she's talking about, it's very powerful, whatever people say.

But then at home, I'm very quiet. You know, I'm very feminine. I'm very soft. People don't get to see that side of me, you know? But no, it has been difficult.

Where I wanted to be married and have kids, I would never be a single mom. That's not what I've ever wanted. All right, uh, Robin. She can't get a boyfriend. Wow, this is a fun show today.

Here's my rule on everything: all of facial hair. uh on women uh needs to go. Very simple. It all needs to go. Nobody wants to see that.

Right. Isn't this why God made Lady Bick? You know, it's. Lovely pink razor. whack thing or whatever your preference is.

But yes, it's got to go. Oh, it's no wonder. You know what I mean? I mean, things are really crazy in the country, Todd. I mean, I am extremely, extremely nervous Flying.

I was out of the country. I came back to the country. Uh Things are just not right. You've been through the airports. You know, you're in the line.

You have to show ID. You know, you have to show your passport, your driver's license. You have to have an actual ticket. And the the line next to you is all these people, you don't even know what their n real name is. And so I have a very uneasy feeling about a lot of facial hairs, like the kind of the least of it.

You know what I mean? Like we can laugh about that, but I have to tell you that I am not feeling good about where we are in the country. We've got wars everywhere in the world, you look, and things are not right. And I'm telling you personally, you know me, Todd, you sat next to me for many, many years when we used to work together back in the day. And when I have a gut feeling about something, ten out of ten times, I'm on it.

No, it's true. And I think you're right. There is something weird going. There's just a bad vibe in the country right now. And I think a lot of this is going to be fixed by getting Donald Trump back in the White House.

But you know what? Donald Trump can't fix women growing beards. That's something else. He's got a lot of powers, Todd, but that is not in his purview. I will say this: I am still very excited to see who he's going to pick as the VP.

I know I mentioned Sarah Huckabee Sanders on your show before. That was floated around the other night on the Fox News with Jesse Waters. Sure was. And I'll tell you something, you can flag the tape from a couple of months ago and I mentioned her when no one was talking about her. I still think, though, that the Rocky Balboa one-two punch is to put DeSantis in there.

Even though people say it wouldn't happen and DeSantis is his own man and he still likes being governor, I don't know, if I get the phone call, hey, do you want to be vice president? I sort of move my stuff out of the governor's mansion pretty quickly. Yeah, I'm with you on that. And I think it would make it does make sense.

So let's see how it goes. But I think soon, very soon, hopefully, Trump will not only name the VP, but also The cabinet.

So we'll see. But I'm fairly certain there will be no bearded women in the Trump administration. Absolutely not. Absolutely. He likes his women feminine.

Let's just say that. That's true. All right.

Todd, good afternoon. I had a brief question. You had mentioned you didn't think there would be much change if we had a Democrat Speaker, but I was wondering if all the investigations and the probes to the things that were going on now would cease with a Democratic speaker.

Well, yes, I mean that would change. And by not much change, I'm speaking of ideology. I don't think much would change there. I mean, certainly you would get new Democrat if Democrats had the majority, then they would get the committee chair assignments, no doubt about that. Here's the thing about the committee investigations, Jeff.

They haven't amounted to anything so far. Not anything. I mean, how many more years are we going to investigate? Oh, I agree. They're probably great for advertising revenue.

Yeah. But I didn't know how that worked. If the speaker was determined, what investigations were held or if that was actually done by Florida? No, they're not. And so if you could have a, for example, whoever the new chairman of House Judiciary is, they could actually come in and put a stop to whatever hearings that are happening.

So that would be a big deal. But again, They haven't done anything, right? We've been, how many years have Republicans been holding hearings? Jeff, appreciate that call. Got a skedaddle here, folks.

We have some an update on the situation out in California, but I want to play this local news report from a it's not from Memphis, but a news report on a pawn shop owner.

Cut number 13. There's so much stuff coming out of pawn that it's Rolexes are coming out, chains, diamonds. I've never seen stuff like this in my life that they're not picking up. They're just not getting the stuff out anymore. I mean, They even slowed down bringing in stuff because they're running out of stuff to bring in.

The economy, I feel, is really going down a little bit. Quite a bit, actually. And they come in, they're getting smaller loans, the $20, $30 loans to help get their medicine, stuff like that. I'm still seeing a little bit. They pick them up when they get their checks at the end of the month.

But it's definitely getting tougher out here. The times are getting tougher and tougher.

So have you noticed that? Are you noticing that times are getting tougher in your communities?

Now in California It is really bad because the Democrats over there, and they have a super majority of Democrats, and these Democrats are now saying, well, they've just raised the minimum wage for fast food workers to $20 an hour. And now, companies are doing these massive layoffs.

Some are even having to shut down. I mean, this is tragic. Here's a headline from Salon: California fast food workers have been hit with layoffs ahead of new minimum wage law. Gavin Newsome, they say, is now ruining the economy of California just like everybody predicted he would. There is another popular popularity.

Restaurant chain called Lemour Foster's Freeze. They're shutting down. because of the minimum wage increase. California Pizza Hut franchises announced they're going to be laying off more than 1,100 delivery drivers as a result of the wage hike. And there's another pizza joint called Mod Pizza, shutting down 27 stores nationwide.

And the reason why, they say, is the hike in minimum wage in the minimum wage in California. I mean, this is not good. According to the manager of Foster's Freeze, therein. California, Lamore, California. One of the managers.

says they were really caught by surprise. But here's the deal, folks If you're in the restaurant business. The profit margins are slim anyway, But when the government comes in and says, well, now you've got to raise your minimum wage by 25%. That's going to put a lot of people out of business. The manager of one Foster's Freeze in Lemour, California.

Telling Fox business it's a shock. It would have been nice to have a notice so we could get some applications out. I could prepare them. The best I can do honestly is give them some references. Navarro and her team learned Monday that the restaurant owner made the decision to close its doors for good.

The owner told the local Fox T V a fella it was the last thing they wanted to do, but knew by Friday night the business likely would not be able to absorb the wage hike and they did not want to ruin their Easter Sunday.

So they just shut it down. Navarro said two of my coworkers were actually going to clock in for the morning, and right after that, that's when they got the phone call that they were closing. At first they thought it was an April Fool's joke, but it was no April Fool's joke. I mean, what do you want these small business owners to do here, people?

Now you Democrats out there, this is all on you. The reality is, there's only so much money to go around. And this, by the way, is all because of the President of these United States. And folks, if we're not careful, we could be tripping and stumbling our way into a full-blown depression in this country before the election.

Now the manager says, I can see their intentions with increasing the minimum wage, thinking it'll attract more people, but honestly, I don't think it's going to work. This is not the first business that's closing. There's already a few local businesses that are closing.

So I feel like it's only just the beginning, and it's true. Navarro claimed they would have preferred the stab.

Now, this is huge. I want you to hear this. The manager of the now closed Foster's Freeze burger joint says. That they actually would have preferred working at a lower hourly rate than being laid off. Navarro tells Fox from the people I spoke to, We would rather have stayed at the wage that we did have before just because now we don't have a job.

And those who are still working in the area around us that went up to $20 an hour. They got their hours severely cut.

So it's a lot less people working on chefs.

So their jobs got a lot more difficult.

Now, you see, these are the stories, and I hope President Trump spends some time campaigning in California. And I hope these people are brought up on the stage so they can tell their stories. That the policies of the Democrats Are resulting in people living in poverty. It's a horrible thing to to lose your job. It truly is.

Monica Novaro got a phone call from her general manager informing her the location would not open for business again. All day, would-be customers drove in, then away, as they learned what the employees learned Monday morning. How does that feel to show up and there does not be a job? Um, jarring. It's like.

Okay. you can go home and then It's like, I thought I was going to work today. It's hard to take it when there was no notice at all. The closure comes the same day California's minimum wage for fast food workers rises to $20 an hour. Economic experts have been predicting closures and layoffs in the months leading up to the hike.

Most of the time, if not all of the time. The business owners have to pass those costs increases on to the consumer. At this Foster's Freeze, the assistant general manager tells us that was supposed to be the plan: increased prices and shortened shifts. He had actually talked to us like we were preparing to pay $20 an hour. Like it wasn't a possibility of us closing.

He had said, All right, on the schedules, we're going to run smaller crews, we're going to do a little bit of shorter shifts. People are going to get their hours cut a little bit, but we'll be able to make it work. We're going to raise some prices, but like, we're good. That all changed Monday morning. Navarro says the owner told her he just couldn't afford to pay the new minimum wage.

There you go, folks. Again, that reporting out of California. Uh the first fast food restaurant, and this is an ice cream parlor. Being forced to shut down, to close for good, because they could not afford to pay this minimum wage, the mandatory minimum wage.

So the owner of the ice cream parlor, Lauren Wright, sent this message to the media: We just could not survive with mandated wage increases. I tried to the end to try to figure out a way to make it work. Last thing I ever wanted was to close down. By Friday night I knew I was most likely not going to be able to stay open, but I didn't want to ruin their Easter Sunday. Small businesses cannot survive a 120 percent plus minimum wage increase over the last 10 years.

We are all more broke than we were ten years ago. It's clear raising the minimum wage isn't helping. I am sad to see my employees off, sad to see Lamour off. This location has been in business for thirty five years. And Labour has been such a good place.

It's painful to realize. that raising the minimum wage has caused this issue. And no doubt about it. By the way, economists now. This is great.

So economists Have now been predicting closures and layoffs in the months leading up to the hike. Really? Where were all these people testifying up at the state capitol in Sacramento? Where were they when all of this was. Elections have consequences, all you folks in California.

pay very close attention. To what is happening because it's about to get a whole lot worse.

So get out there and start electing some fiscally conservative Republicans.

Well, this story coming from us from notthebee.com. There was a big controversy at the Disney shareholders' meeting. There is an individual, her name is Chloe Cole.

So, Chloe decided that she wanted to be a he. And then she decided to not be a he.

So You can't make the you cannot you cannot make this up.

So Chloe, apparently. Went on the, got on the phone for the annual Disney shareholders meeting. And she called out Bob Iger and the rest of the board's hypocrisy and their lies over the whole transgender issue.

So here's the deal. Disney pays for gender transitions.

So if. You work for Disney. And you want to get your little Mickey Mouse cut off, they're going to pay for it. They're going to pay for it. But here's the problem.

If you want Mickey put back together again, uh yeah, that's uh that's gonna be on you.

So the company will no longer detransition you. And so her accusation is that this is now a form of discrimination based on gender identity. I mean, it's all very fascinating here. And I'm not going. You can't make this up.

Chloe told her story. And a reading from the Babylon Bee here, Chloe then told her story, which we've covered on this site many times. She's very popular in the whole detransition movement, and blasted Disney with the reminder that the lawsuits are coming. But Disney, in its arrogance, responded to the proposal by stating that I am only trying to generate attention for a limited agenda. Stealing the voices of thousands of little Ariels around the oh, that's a little Disney character, right?

All right, very good. Across the world, telling us that we can be something that we can never become. Proposal number seven would offer help and hope to people who want to reverse as much damage as possible caused by so called gender affirming care that permanently mutilated their bodies.

So now the question is whether or not Disney will now provide funding for employees to put. To put the pieces back together again. It's kind of like the Humpty Dumpty Clause, I guess, right? It's All very disturbing, ladies and gentlemen. All very disturbing.

Oh, oh, oh, I nearly forgot about this. All right, so we need to talk about basketball again, and it's not the LSU Tigers. No, this is. This is terrible. This involves South Carolina's head basketball coach, the women's coach.

Her name is Dawn Staley. And they've had a really good run. And Don Staley is now under fire from atheist. And this is why. This is what Don Staley told a reporter after a basketball game, Cut 22.

I'm super proud of them. I'm giving all the glory to God though. He God is really He's really funny. He's really funny. Uh the devastating loss that we had last year, he put us back here with a totally different team.

If you don't believe in God, something's wrong with you. Seriously. I'm a believer. I'm a believer because he makes things come true. But you're at your worst.

So, anyway, she was in Cleveland to get ready for the NCAA Final Four. She was named the Naismith Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year, fourth time in five seasons. She is very good at her job, and she uses her platform to share the gospel message. And I say, good for you. Congratulations, Coach Stately.

So, anyway, the Freedom from Religion Foundation is all very upset about this. They are a Wisconsin-based group of atheists, and man, do they hate Jesus? They really do. And so now they're demanding that Coach Staley be. B punished as a result of saying what she said.

And she's not going to do it. ESPN is coming after her now, and they're all demanding to know whether or not she's going to apologize. And the coach is saying, I'm not doing it. I'm not apologizing for what I said or what I feel. She says, because I know my life and why things have happened in my life.

So good for you, ma'am. She is sticking to it. I hope she does, but you know how these things go with the universities. She went on to defend her comments in an interview with ESPN: It's a figure of speech. If you can't comprehend that, then tune me out.

Like, tune me out because I'm not here to offend anybody. That's not my makeup. That's not my character. And I know it's not, ma'am. But you know, these atheists, they don't have a sense of humor.

They don't understand nuance. They're very, very bad people. Because they're godless and they're heathens. It's their nature.

Because the new polling data out there says that Republicans are more excited about the 2024 presidential election than the Democrats are. And that Republicans are looking forward to. To Election Day. Is that you? Are you one of those people, 901?

260-5926 is our number. That's 901-260-5926. Now I want to get to this polling data from Rasmussen. According to Breitbart, which has the story. Former President Trump, get this, now has an eight-point lead over Joe Biden.

Trump right now sitting at 49%. Hunter's daddy, that would be Joe. Or chaway. 41%. 49% to 41%.

Now, when they factor in R. F. K. Jr. Ah, thank you for that.

Thank you. Appreciate you, Dodd. Yes, sir. Happy to do it, mister RFK.

So anyway, in a three way race between RFK Junior, Trump and Biden, Trump still comes out on top by six points, forty four percent for Trump, thirty eight for Biden, ten percent for Kennedy. With the two third-party candidates added. President Trump leads by seven points. You've got Trump at 45, Biden 38, Kennedy at 9%, Cornell West at 2, and Jill Stein at 1%. These internal polling numbers are offering some incredible news for the Trump campaign.

Now this is what's fascinating. In a two-way race, Joe Biden earns just 48% of the black vote, while Trump sits at 39%. According to Breitbart, it ought to be eighty twenty in Joe's favor. Among Hispanic voters, Trump beats Biden 48% to 37%, and that ought to be 70%-30.

So we are watching. What I consider to be historic movement of the black and Hispanic Democrats to the Republican Party. And it's really not so much the Republican Party as it is to Donald Trump and his populist message.

Now, this is interesting. Even among younger voters, Biden is only up by a single point.

So Biden does beat. A Trump, among younger voters, 18 to 39-year-olds, 43% to 42%. And a lot of those people are just stupid. You know that They'll grow out of it, hopefully. With all five candidates competing, the numbers look terrible for Biden.

He gets 44% of the black vote, 29% of the Hispanic vote, and 37% of the 18 to 39 vote.

So, Ras Mussen, that polling data has to make a lot of people over at Trump HQ feel very, very good.

Pro Second Amendment. Wanted to see how we could grow our state and reduce property taxes at the same time. All those things you talk door to door. That you believe it. As a process we've gone through down here as senators.

I've tried to stick with those principles. That has not changed for me. I asked the Democratic Party. Douglas County. to respect that I'm pro-life.

That I'm a member of the Roman Catholic Church. And my beliefs are based on that. Lucas County Democrats, instead of respecting it, they decided to punish it. They said you cannot. Participate.

You can't be a delegate. We're not going to share our party resources. I continue to vote pro-life. State Democratic Party decided to censure me. I continue to vote pro-life.

This is not an easy decision. After forty years of being a registered Democrat. Having your grandfather tell you when you're 10 years old, what are we? We're Irish, we're Catholic, and we're Democrats. That kind of stuck with me.

And we had many discussions after that. That a lot of things he'd try to teach me didn't stick. It's never easy for someone to make this kind of decision. But what makes it easier? There's the people standing behind me.

Over the last year, Regardless of my decision-switching parties, They have been so supportive. Based on the things that would be said. in the media or in social media. They were very supportive. We had great discussions about what the Republican Party is doing.

where they're trying to go. How I potentially could fit in there. But the greatest thing about it is now I can participate again. When something's taken away from you as potentially being able to attend a meeting, they say, well, we don't want you here. And we're not going to share our resources with you, that hits you pretty hard.

But it also makes you appreciate something about our democracy. The idea of being able to participate. Today, I'm announcing I am now going to be a registered Republican in the state of Nebraska. All right.

Well, welcome to the party, sir.

So anyway, uh this is significant. Uh because now the GOP has 33. members in a one house legislature, And that's a big deal because they need those 33 votes to overcome a filibuster. Democrats will hold eight will hold fifteen seats. And we're talking forty-nine seats in the body.

So there you go, that's good news. from Nebraska. And I think we're going to start seeing more of that. And especially among pro-lifers, there was a guy in the Memphis area, John DeBerry. Who was a longtime Democrat, a loyal Democrat?

His father was part of the civil rights movement, big deal. And he served for over two decades as a Democrat in the State House, but he kept voting with the Republicans on pro-life issues, and they literally kicked this guy out of the party. Because the Democrats do not want pro-lifers in their party at all. And still to this day, Mr. DeBerry is not a registered Republican.

I think he ought to become a Republican and run as a Republican. See what happens. But I'm curious, ladies and gentlemen, based on the polling data out there, you ought to be feeling pretty darn good about what's going to happen in November.

Now, this doesn't mean that you can just stay home and sit on your laurels. It's an encouragement for all of us to get out. And make sure we're voting and doing our part on Election Day. All right, we've got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number.

Dan Rather issuing a statement. Last night This is Dan Rather talking about Donald Trump. Let me make this perfectly clear. It's not about politics. I voted for both parties.

It's about me as a patriot. rejecting a cheating, lying, racist, treasonous, Fascist and vile man who attacks the free press and wants to lead the country I love.

Well, a couple of things here about old Dan. You might remember Dan Rather getting getting fired.

Well, he was forced out. He wasn't fired, but he was forced out at CBS. And why was he forced out at CBS? Because he anchored a fake news story about George W. Bush.

Remember the National Guard story? And the allegation was that George W. Bush. Pulled strings to get into the National Guard so he wouldn't have to go fight in Vietnam. And it turned out not to be true.

And Dan Rather, it was a huge scandal back in the day. And a lot of people lost their jobs over that. And Dan Rather was forced into early retirement.

So let's just unravel this. First of all, I don't believe he's voted for both parties. I don't believe that one bit. I think he is a lion Democrat. And look, there's nothing wrong with that.

99.9% of the media in America happen to be Democrat. All right, there's so if that's you. Then embrace it. Be a Democrat. But don't lie about it.

He says it's about me. This is the only thing that is true. And this entire screed. It's always about Dan Rather. It's always about him.

Courage. Remember that? When he would end every single What do we say here when we wrap up the show? Be good, America. We want you to be good.

Dan Rather used to end every one of his newscast TV newscasts. Courage Courage. What does that mean? Courage? What?

What are you what? What are you talking about? You know, with me, be good America, we know what that means. We want you to be good. Don't go don't go out there and be bad.

Be good. But what is courage? What does that mean? I never did understand that.

So he accuses Trump, and these are I mean, these are really some wild accusations that he's a cheating, lying, racist, treasonous, fascist, and vile man who attacks the free press. Trump isn't attacking the free press, they're attacking him. They're the ones that are out there trying to assassinate his character every single day. And they intentionally do it. And we laid all of this out for you yesterday.

So it's really not that bad. When you go back and listen to yesterday's podcast. But it's very clear to me that the media has an agenda here. Dan Rather has an agenda. And that agenda is to destroy Donald Trump.

They've never been fair with this guy. They've many of them And it may be all of them. I don't recall anybody who actually retracted the Russia collusion story even after it was proven not to be true. And this idea that Donald Trump is a racist, that's absurd. As a matter of fact, it was Donald Trump who actually reinstated the funding for the historically black colleges and universities.

Even Barack Hussein Obama didn't do that. It does make you wonder why, right? Barack Obama didn't like the black people very much. Just want to throw that out there. It's all that was all very peculiar.

They say he's treasonous, but in fact he is not treasonous. As a matter of fact, Donald Trump is the only man in modern political history who's kept us out of wars. Donald Trump's Presidency was about putting America first. And only someone like Dan Coura Dan Dan Courage. Dan Rather would consider that to be treasonous.

Now this whole idea of being fascist is ludicrous. When you actually look at what the Democrats are trying to do, literally throwing their political enemies in jail. Literally shutting down churches and infiltrating Catholic parishes with FBI agents. That is fascism. The idea that We're going to have open borders.

We've had an invading army. Come into this country. Military Age Young Men From China From Guatemala. From Mayhe Cole. All over the place, and all these Middle Eastern Muslim countries.

Nobody ever says anything about that, but Donald Trump's trying to stop it. And this is the thanks he gets. From Dan Rather. Courage I don't think he has any courage. Maybe that's what he was looking for.

It was kind of like code. Maybe he was asking somebody to give him a little bit of courage. I don't know. This is Dan Rather. I'm telling you, even old Walter Cronkite went liberal back in the day.

He went squirrely back in the day. Everybody talks about, oh, we need journalists. Walter Cronkite. And that's the way it was. Really?

Well, Walter Cronkite. became a raging leftist. Yes, I did, Tod. And I bet every word of it. All right, thank you there, Walter.

Uncle Walt, that's what they called him back in the day. Right? I think you have to go back to the 19th. 30s and 40s to find journalists who were actually journalists. I'll tell you, somebody who is authentic.

Anyone remember Paul Harvey? Good day. Anybody remember that?

Now that was a fair and balanced reporter and a journalist.

Hey, I'm so happy to be with you. Thanks for having me.

So, Seb is a good friend, and I was texting him last night. I'm like, guess who's going to be on the show today? Yeah. I love it.

Well, you guys, we love both of y'all. And this book, I just got it a few days ago, and I thought, well, I'm going to speed read through this. Katie, this is not a book you can speed read through. You really need to take your time and go through it. And I am just really shocked by a lot of the things that you guys talk about in this book.

So let's just start with the title itself. What exactly are you talking about when you refer to next gen Marxism? Yeah, we're talking about this movement today that includes like the transgender ideology and this notion that we are all racist, that Americans are fundamentally racist. It's this new version of Marxism, right? In the old version of Marxism, it was the worker versus the owners of production, right?

But nowadays, it's a kind of cultural divide between those who have like of a certain race, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation on the one hand, and the rest of us on the other hand. But what makes it distinctly Marxist is the fact that behind it is a worldview that says, We cannot work together to solve our problems. It says we cannot get along. It says we are irreconcilably divided, and only one side could win here. Which, you know, I'm sorry, but I think that's fundamentally un-American because I think we do work together to solve our problems.

I thought it was interesting that you pointed out that it's not the Marxism from the Soviet Union, it's something else. Oh, it yes, absolutely.

So, you know. The Marxism of the Soviet Union has really struggled throughout history to take root because that was based on workers rising up. And what we've learned time and time again in country after country is that workers don't actually want to overthrow their economic system, right? They want their jobs, they want their family, they want their country.

So the workers' revolution just really doesn't work as a concept. Marx was just got he flat out got it wrong. And so, but there were changes after that. You know, there was a big shift in the 1960s with the development of the quote new left. where then suddenly the revolutionaries thought, okay, well, if the workers aren't going to revolt, I'll bet the students will revolt, right?

And so then the radical student became the locus of revolution.

So and then of course it changes even further really around 1989 where it shifts to race, sexuality, that kind of thing. That's one of the things that really surprised me because you point out in the book that really the onset of this was back in the 1980s. Of course, that's back when I was in junior high school. I thought it would have been a lot earlier than that. Oh, no, no, no.

I mean, it absolutely was earlier. What we really tried to do with the book was kind of show the gradual evolution, right? There were all kinds of stops and steps and changes along the way. The point that we were making about 1989 is there was a critical thing that happened in that year. I found it particularly ironic because, all right, so I'm older than you, but I was about 29 that year, and the Berlin Wall fell.

And most of us in the United States thought Marxism had just died its spinal death because of the collapse of the Soviet Union. But Mike, my co-author, found this really extraordinary article published in the New York Times that said, this was in 1989, and it said, this is the year that Marxism has gone mainstream in U.S. colleges.

Now, that also happened to be the same year that the conference was held at which critical race theory. was named and the group kind of cohered and came together.

So that's all we're suggesting when we say that eighty nine was kind of the starting point. I'm just fascinated by this. I was reading a chapter towards the end of the book talking about next-gen Marxism even in the military, and that really raised my eyebrows because for so many years people would say, well, the military is going to protect us from the bad guys, but it looks like they've actually been able to infiltrate the military. I every from everything that I hear, and I know Sebastian has lots of stories about this well about this as well because people talk to him about this. I think what's gone on in our military is absolutely shocking.

And it really goes back to Obama. That's when it was it was during Obama's time that a lot of this started being implemented, that people sort of with a radical ideology were being sort of pushed into the Department of Defense. And they have really taken over. And I'm telling you, I pray that Trump becomes our President, but he is going to have just one heck of a cleanup job.

So, the name of the book, ladies and gentlemen, Next Gen Marxism: What it is and how to combat it.

Some of the folks that have offered praise and endorsements are good friend Congressman Jim Banks. He says America is in a war with a radical left-wing ideology.

Next-Gen Marxism traces the rise of wokeness and goes on to write us a terrific endorsement. Katie, I'm curious, how do we combat it? It seems like there are so many fights and dumpster fires burning in the country right now. Where's the starting point to all of this?

Well, I think we've already passed the starting point, honestly. I think it's already happening. I really started seeing it in 2020 with the birth of the parental rights movement. I think that's kind of the locus of the pushback. It is incredible what parents are doing across this country.

And some of it is very visible, like the work of Moms for Liberty, for example. But throughout that time, I was traveling around the country for the Heritage Foundation. There are thousands of groups out there that are fighting this insanity in our schools, and people who are educating themselves. people who are saying the left has really gone too far this time, and it's making me hopeful.

Well, I was just giving a speech a couple of weeks ago at Young America's Foundation, and to see so many young high school kids, especially, standing up and saying, you know what? We want to be conservative. We want to learn what it means to be a patriotic American. And I think it's just getting back to the roots and getting back to the founding fathers and their vision they had for this country. And again, like Reagan said, freedom's not passed along in the bloodline.

We've got to fight for it. Every generation has to fight for it. Yes, absolutely. And it really troubles me still. I think our universities remain just terrible factories of indoctrination, and we have got to get a hold of that.

So I hope as more parents wake up to what's going on, as more of them have their kids coming home having been radicalized, I hope more people will take a really hard look whether, in fact, it's worth spending seventy thousand dollars a year to send your kid off to one of these, quote, elite universities. Is it how do we start that process, redeeming our public education system, not just at the university level, but now they're teaching a lot of this stuff at the grade school level? Yeah, it is just a very, very serious problem. You know, the good news is, I think some of our best allies in this fight are teachers. I'm thinking of some of the teachers out there who are exposing how they're being trained, what they're being forced to teach, and they're shedding light on it.

But I would say right now, I think there are far too few parents who are standing up and fighting back. And the problem is, no parent wants to t put a target on their kids' back by rocking the boat at their school, right? But the price you pay if you don't rock the boat is you lose your child. to this insanity and you lose your country. Let's talk about real quick the end game here for these next-gen Marxists.

What do they want to happen to this country? They are 100% clear, they want to tear it down. They want to completely radically change it, and they say it over and over and over again. And along with that, they want to see the traditional family disappear, they want religion to disappear, they want our country to disappear. All right, this item just in Anthony Blanken. Is over in Europe right now meeting with NATO. And the Secretary of State now says Ukraine will be joining NATO.

Now, this is a big deal, and I want to explain why. Because once Ukraine joins NATO, That means we go to war against Russia. Under Article 5. An attack on Ukraine is considered to be an attack on the United States.

So, if you want World War III, we're about to get it, folks. And let me say this: yet another reason why you need to be voting for Donald Trump, because Donald Trump kept this country out of war. And there are some people. On both political parties, and that's their whole shtick. They want us to be in war because of the military-industrial complex that Dwight D.

Eisenhower warned us about.

So just keep that in mind. There is an interesting story out of Washington. Mick Mulvaney was President Trump's director of the Office of Management and Budget. Really good guy. Mulvaney Was writing in the Wall Street Journal.

He was telling a story about the day he had asked the president. For permission to host a Catholic Mass in the old executive office building, and they wanted to do this on Ash Wednesday.

So President Trump actually approved it and said, sure, go ahead. And they had over a hundred people show up. For what became a historic moment. It was the first time ever that a Catholic Mass had been held inside the White House compound. Which is a big deal.

Now here's why I think this is fascinating. It turns out that President Biden, who is supposedly a devout Roman Catholic, actually discontinued the service. He actually ended the Catholic Mass.

Now, it doesn't make any sense, right? Because Joe Biden is a devout Catholic. And so, if you're a devout Catholic, why would you object to other Catholic people getting together and going to Mass? By the way, Clarence Thomas, Supreme Court Justice, is a Catholic and he goes to Mass every day. Mm-hmm.

So Just think about this. The so-called devout Catholic Joe Biden has declared war on his own religion. He sent the FBI agents to infiltrate the Catholic churches and Catholic parishes all over the country, including Richmond, Virginia. He has ordered the arrest of Catholics for praying outside abortion clinics. And of course, we all know what happened when the White House ignored Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
