So very happy to have you with us today and trust you are doing well wherever you are. Wow. We have a jam packed show for you today and we're going to have a little bit of fun. We're going to be talking to a great, great musician later on in the show, Danny Gokey. He's been nominated for Grammys and Dove Awards and all that kind of stuff.

Anyway, he's got a new project out, so we're going to have a little bit of fun later on in the program. Also, there's a guy who just released one of the best campaign videos I've ever seen. And this is pretty spectacular. His name is Bill Igle, and he is from Missouri, and he's running for governor. And his plan as governor is to deport all illegals from Missouri.

And so we put together an ad, but he was very specific in the audience.

So we had some Mexican dude standing next to him interpreting. And the ad, it's not a radio ad. You got to watch it. And so we'll post a link to the video over on our website today. It is brilliant, just brilliant.

And to watch the Mexican translator realize, holy crap, they're all about to get deported. It's pretty brilliant. I want to start today with something that happened last night in Washington, D.C.

So yesterday we told you to prepare for this day of rage.

So Kamala Harris and the Democrats and the Muslims and all of their allies were out in Washington by the thousands yesterday. Many of them are not even American citizens. Many of them are here illegally or many of them are here on some sort of a student visa or something of that nature.

So they're out there marching on our taxpayer-funded streets and our nation's capital, and they're burning American flags. And folks, this just, I'm not sure, this just angers me. There is an anger inside of me when I see anybody desecrating old glory. Because, like many of you, there have been members of our family who have sacrificed their lives for that flag. and yesterday um and we've got all the video as and it's horrible disgusting video over on our website and you can see this this mob of muslims and they're ripping down the american flags if you've been to union station which is the big beautiful huge uh train station there in washington uh you know they have a huge plaza out in the front and they had these giant american flags that are flapping in the breeze.

And they pulled those flags down, and they stomped on the flags. They set the flags on fire.

Some brave patriot ran into all of this chaos, and he picked up the flag to stop them from desecrating it, but it was too late. And then they start chasing after this American patriot. And fortunately, the guy ran pretty fast because the mob, They were yelling, get him, get him. And they were trying to, I think they would have set him on fire. These are evil savages.

All of these people are savages. And so they're burning old glory. And then they raise the Palestinian flag. And to me, ladies and gentlemen, that is an act of war. It is an absolute act of war.

and they raised that flag. Not a single police officer stopped them. Nobody stopped them. Nobody stopped. Nobody got arrested for any of this.

Nobody. Nobody got arrested. And they're raising the Palestinian flags as the smoldering ruins of old glory are crumpled on the ground. And I don't know about you, but this angered me and infuriated me. they also desecrated monuments and statues a beautiful replica of the liberty bell that was that was paid for by american school children was ruined somebody actually scrawled on one of the monuments hamas is coming they were literally flying a terrorist flag on american soil and it just seems to me that maybe somebody over at, I don't know, the Capitol Police or the D.C.

police, somebody in law enforcement, the FBI, would be out there arresting people who are flying the flag of a terrorist country. That's just me.

So people are very upset about all of this, and rightfully so. last night and and this was really a beautiful moment last night speaker mike johnson and a group of lawmakers i don't know maybe a dozen that may be overstating the number but they went out there and many of them had american flags in their offices on capitol hill many of them are veterans people like Brian Mast whose legs were blown off fighting in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. There are people like Congressman Brandon Williams and Congressman Jerry Carl out of Alabama who all came out there and they took down the Palestinian flag. They should have burned it. They didn't burn it, but they should have burned it.

they took it down and hopefully they threw it in some garbage dumpster somewhere where it belongs and then those men i think there was one female lawmaker they raised the american flags and they were determined to send a message that the terrorist sympathizers would not win my only problem with that statement is these are not terrorist sympathizers they are terrorists You fly the flag of a terrorist group on American soil. You take down, tear down our flag. You set it on fire. Then you raise another country's flag. You're a terrorist.

You're an enemy combatant at that point. But nobody got arrested. Nobody. Nobody. So they're raising the flag last night.

There was a beautiful moment. And we've got all of this over at ToddStearns.com. And they're reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. and one of the lawmakers said they tear it down again we're going to be back here again we got more flags plenty more where that came from and i love that attitude i love that sentiment but ladies and gentlemen here's what i think needs to happen every every damn one of those people who desecrated our flag who are not american citizens they're here for a student visa or a work visa, they need to be deported immediately. Every single one of them.

Every one of them. And while we're at it, we need to start deporting every single illegal alien right now. I don't want them in American jails. They need to go rot somewhere else, but not on American soil and not courtesy of the American tax dollar. Period.

It's time to clean up our country, ladies and settlement, and we got to take the trash out. And that's what we need to be doing today.

Now, I know Senator Tom Cotton over in Arkansas is introducing legislation today that would call for that. If you come over to this country and you're marching on our streets, burning down our flag, desecrating our statues and monuments, your butt is going back to whatever third world hell hole you came from. And that's exactly what needs to happen.

Now, many of you know that I am a Trump supporter and I have been for a very long time. But I will say this, I am going to hold the president to his word on his promise that he will round up and deport every illegal alien in this country. Ladies and gentlemen, that cannot be campaign rhetoric. That has to be the law of the land. We have got to clean up our country and send the riffraff packing.

But Todd, what would Jesus do? Jesus would send them back to where they came from. That's what I think the good Lord would do. There was a reason, if you read your Bible, that a lot of the cities in the Middle East had giant walls around them. You know why?

To protect them from the bad guys.

so if it's good enough for king david then by golly it should be good enough for the united states of america and if john the baptist used the king james version then it's good enough for me baby i'm just saying 901 260 5926 todd you're just so mean today yes it's true i am being a little fiery today ladies and gentlemen but i get that way when these people come to this country and they disrespect us and it angers me people like ilhan omar we saved her family from god knows what over there in that god forsaken country she came from we gave them every single thing we gave them housing and food and clothing we welcomed them with open arms and what does ilhan omar do She spits on our face every single day talking about how bad this country is, how evil this country is. This is the greatest country on the face of the earth, ladies and gentlemen. And here's the great thing about America. You don't love it, you can leave it. That's right.

Don't let the door hit you or the good Lord split you. That's what's great about America. We're not going to throw you. We're not going to throw people who dissent in prison. We don't do that.

They do that in Russia. They do that in China, but not here. If you don't love the country, go somewhere else. All you alphabet activists out there, and I loved what Benjamin Netanyahu said yesterday in this incredible address going after all of these, the gays for Gaza. What kind of idiot?

You have to be a special kind of an idiot to be a gay person and defending the Muslims. Here's what Benjamin Netanyahu had to say. Cut number eight. That's amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Some of these protesters hold up signs proclaiming gays for Gaza. They might as well hold up signs saying chickens for KFC. It's true. It makes absolutely no sense.

We are a country of law and order, and I went in the 80s. Excuse me. I'm a senior. I went to Manila in the 80s, and there was martial law. Everybody here feels like we can't do anything.

I know we can. There are laws that will help us. Do we do martial law?

Well, you can't do martial law just for one set of people. I mean, you could declare it for the whole country. You could, you know, I mean, it could happen. You can declare it in cities where there's unrest, but you can't just do it just for the illegals.

Well, I'm not talking. I'm talking about the people that burn the flags, that hate the country. They're out here. They know who they are. Oh, it's true.

Honestly, what they should have done, Glyndalyn, is, I mean, you had all these police out there. Nobody got arrested. Why weren't they arresting people? All you have to do is put a big old, throw a big old net over them.

so they don't get away and then round them up, send them down to the police station and deport all the foreigners.

Well, that's why I'm saying martial law would work because they could round them up because they can't be moving around.

Well, they can do that now. But again, martial law would would apply to everybody. Glendale, you can't just you can't just do it for certain people.

So it would it would be all of us or none of us. And I just say, let's enforce the laws on the books, right? Glendaline, I mean, you're right. We're a nation of laws. Let's enforce the laws on the book.

Let me explain this to you. Glendaline, thank you for that call. You burn a gay pride flag, you can go to jail for a very long time. They call that a hate crime. You leave a skid mark on a gay pride crosswalk, you can be charged with a federal hate crime.

So I think you're right to say that Congress probably won't do anything, but Donald Trump is making some very serious promises to the American people, and we're going to have to follow through on those promises. We have to. If we're going to save our country, we've got to deport the illegals, deport these foreigners, and I don't have a problem with revoking George Soros' citizenship and sending his butt back to Hungary. Well, I'm so glad to be on here. I've been listening all morning, and I listen to your program almost daily. But I was just thinking, as a Christian, we need to get out, and we need to vote. We need to vote for people who their ideas line up with the Scripture, because if they don't, then we're voting for the wrong person. But I would like to encourage, I believe that prayer and God is the only one that's going to make a difference in our election.

And my husband and I have been a part of a group called Prayer Across America. This has been going on for probably three or four years. And we stop in the middle of the evening. It's 9 o'clock on the East Coast, 8 Central, and 7 o'clock on the West Coast so that we're all combining to pray. and just for a minute or two or whatever time you want to, put that on your phone, let that app go off and stop and just pray for America.

And I just feel like that when we bombard heaven with our prayers, God hears the prayers of his people. And when two or three are gathered together, he says he will answer. And we just need to pray that our country will get back to its foundation and love God and love each other. And we need to put out these people who have these ideas that are not according to the Bible. We need to get them out of office.

Yes, we do, Cassie. And yes, we do. And that's why November is so vitally important. And Cassie, it's a good word. We all ought to be praying for our nation.

Congressman, thanks for coming on the show today. hey Todd it's great to be with you again and thank you for doing that uh you didn't have to and I'm wondering what compelled you to go out there last night congressman well I tell you what first of all I'm a navy veteran and I love our flag it means a great deal to me personally to my family but I also watched this happen at just as a civilian in 2020 and I was so frustrated and frustrated by what can I do.

And frankly, that's how I decided to run for Congress, even though I didn't know anybody in politics. And look, these are the same people that were doing this in 2020 that are doing this today in D.C., and I'm just not going to sit down and do nothing. And it turns out a lot of other members of Congress feel the same way I do. I was wondering, how did the call go out? Did you just let people know, put out a text message?

How did that work? Yeah, I literally walked. We had a late night vote series last night, and I literally walked around the floor of the house. I showed him a picture of what I'd driven by with the empty flagpoles, and I showed him a picture of what it's supposed to look like, just a stock image that it was lit up at night. And I said, hey, are you with me?

And, you know, before you know it, I had three Navy SEALs, a Marine, a Speaker of the House, and several other Patriots.

Well, I just it was so inspirational, so inspiring. And, folks, we had the video of what they did on our website, Todd Stearns dot com. I love what Senator Tom Cotton is introducing legislation that would deport any foreigner involved in violence or vandalism on federal property based on the shameful behavior of those lunatics last night. Do you support that kind of legislation? you know we are a nation of laws todd and um that for some reason particularly in these sanctuary cities they allow these kinds of crimes and they are crimes they're crimes today that are being committed on federal property on private property uh on municipal property and they are going unpunished and to tie that with immigration with people that are here illegally or here on a student visa and show them the door.

I'm all in favor of that. It's outrageous. And, Congressman, just, I mean, our lines have been blowing up all day. People are just enraged over what happened. And look, we've seen this happen before, but I think in our nation's capital, where lawmakers, you could see the Palestinian flag flying from Capitol Hill.

I mean, Congressman, it's almost as if our nation has been conquered.

Well, it has not been conquered, I assure you, and I'm damn sure not going to let it happen myself. I can't express that strongly enough, but I can't right every wrong, but this is blocks away from the Capitol. I drive by it between my apartment and the Capitol building, and this is a right that we could wrong, and I think it's important for Americans to see Republican lawmakers out making things right. You know that Congress is deliberately structured to work slowly. And yet this was something very tangible that we could do.

And, you know, the Speaker understood that. Certainly the Navy veterans understood that and patriots understand that.

So, you know, obviously I can't come to every neighborhood and fix every problem, but I can do it in my backyard when I'm here in D.C., and I can do it right at the seat of our democracy. This is the world of freedom revolves around this axis, this this place right here. And we've got to defend it.

Well, I know. Here's how here's how we know that this really struck a chord with the American people. You had Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg both sending out statements condemning the behavior of those people. But at the same time, you know, she's out there denouncing anti-Semitism when she was not present to hear Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu address Congress yesterday. Right.

That's playing both sides, which isn't going to work, by the way. Right. You know, everybody that's a patriot sees through her completely. And then, frankly, all the leftist Marxists that know that she's one of them, you know, don't like it. They police their own and they call her out for defending the flag and they're attacking her for defending our flag.

You know, even though we all know it's disingenuous.

So we just have to keep putting pressure to expose these people for who they are. And they're here to destroy our country. They're here to tear down our institutions. They're here to take over our education system. And, you know, sadly, they've been very successful.

We saw that with the university president hearings that I was a part of on Congress. And we're seeing it in these demonstrations that they're attacking the police, Todd. They're attacking the police right in our nation's capital. It is unacceptable. It is.

It is. Congressman, we know you're a busy man, and we appreciate you coming on the program today. And I just want to personally say thank you for serving our nation, and not just in the neighborhood, but serving our nation on Capitol Hill yesterday. God bless you, sir. Thank you.

I want to say something about Kamala Harris real quick here. We are not going to let him get away with this. The mainstream media literally rewriting history, and we're not going to let him get away with it, not on this radio program.

So back in 2019, there's an organization, nonpartisan platform called GovTrack. And their job is to go around and they rank all of the elected members of Congress in the House and the Senate.

So in 2019, they ranked Kamala Harris as the most liberal senator in the Congress. Just the other day, that ranking disappeared. It was removed. Nothing more than flat out cover up and censorship. they want you to think that kamala harris is some sort of a of a middle of the road centrist democrat when she is a radical leftist to the left of bernie sanders keep in mind the most liberal senator ranked by gov track a non-partisan platform now you need to be asking yourselves some questions here now the american people when you guys go and you want to take part in the Republican presidential nominating process, guess what?

You go and you vote, you caucus, and then your votes are counted and the winners get nominated. But on the Democrat side, you do the same process. You go and you vote in the primaries and the caucuses. But then if your candidate is trailing in the polls, well, that's when the party bosses meet in the dark rooms and they decide that your votes don't matter anymore, they're going to handpick, they're going to hand-select the nominee. Here's what you need to know about Kamala Harris.

She is so unlikable that she got zero, zero, may I say this again, zero delegates to the Democrat convention back in 2020, zero. She couldn't even win her own state of California. that's how unlikable this woman is so anyway all that to say things are not looking good for Kamala Harris now there's new polling data out and you're going to be hearing a lot about this Kamala Harris leading in the polls but here's what you need to understand this is nothing more than a honeymoon period all right as a matter of fact James Carville says Harris's best day of campaigning of campaigning is already behind her. There's new surveys out. Kamala Harris, it has Kamala Harris winning 70 percent of the black vote.

You say, wow, that's that's like a landslide.

Well, by comparison, Joe Biden won the black vote with 92 percent.

So Kamala Harris is not resonating well right now. And even though this is her honeymoon period, she only leads Trump in the latest polling data by one percentage point. What does all of this mean? It means that she is not going to be the nominee. She is not going to be the eventual nominee.

And, Congressman, I just have to say I was not surprised to know that an Alabamian was in the mix last night when it came time to defend the flag?

Actually, there were two of us. Dale Strong from Huntsville, Alabama was there also. But it was a very unique experience. It was nothing planned. It just happened.

It kind of came together. Congressman, I'm curious. You saw the images last night and the videos of what they did. They burned our flag. They desecrated our monuments.

What was going through your mind?

Well, we sat on the floor making votes. again, nothing was planned. It kind of organically came together and we started just complaining about, you know, nothing wrong with the demonstration, but when you start tearing stuff down, spray paint and stuff, it really bothered us. And someone had a picture of the flags not being replaced.

So one of the members said, hey, if we had three flags, we'd go replace them.

So I went and found three flags. I guess I'm Radar O'Reilly. And I found three flags real quick And we walked over there and thought we were going to have a problem putting them up. Law enforcement was still there kind of cleaning things up and making sure law and order. I walked up to the first police.

We're a group of congressmen. We came over here. We're going to put these three flags up. Would you like to help us? And they were quick to say, yes, sir.

And they jumped in there and helped us put them up.

So it was, again, nothing planned. It was all organic. And it just came together. And we got to spend time. And there were several, it was about 15 members there.

and at least 10, if not 12 of them were ex-military special forces guys.

So we had a few haters out there, but that's all right. I was in a pretty good crowd to take care of that if I needed to. But we raised those flags, and we very proudly told them that if they take those down, we'll be back tomorrow with some more. We'll just keep putting them up. Congressman, what's going on in our country right now where we've got this stuff happening?

I mean, we watched it all unfold on university campuses. Thank God you had the UNC fraternity brothers down at Chapel Hill doing what you guys did last night. But what's going on in our country? Are you concerned? Of course I'm concerned.

We've got open borders. We've got 8 to 10 million illegal immigrants that are here. We don't know where they're at at any given time. I spent a lot of time in Central and South America investigating this stuff and trying to learn more about it. it's just tearing not just USA but it's tearing all these countries up and down the trail that they're traveling but you know we've got to get a new president in there we've got to get a new administration in there we have to hold them responsible and accountable you know for this day forwards they don't have to answer for the last four years we can fix it we can fix it we got to get people out to vote to fix it and to my Democrat friends you know you're in the same shape we are So think about that.

When you vote, you vote Republican. When you vote, you vote your conscience. Vote your wallet. Are you better off than you were four years ago? No.

Are you safer than you were four years ago? No. We've got to get people in there that are capable of making hard decisions, unpopular decisions. We've got to get these people rounded up as many as we can and ship them back. And, Congressman, let me jump in here.

Yeah, let me jump in here, Congressman. They told me. Congressman, let me jump in here real quick. our time is expiring. We know that earlier today, the House passed a resolution condemning border czar Kamala Harris.

We also understand that six Democrats joined every Republican in voting. And it's really funny, Congressman, because right now the media is literally trying to convince the American people that Kamala Harris was never the border czar. I saw that. I watched a clip late last night on that, how they were getting to spend that. But, you know, you don't believe what the media tells you.

Believe what you see and what you witness. New Orleans, you know, it's got a lot of illegal immigrants moving through there. Mobile's the same way. I mean, we're in that hub, not to mention the drugs. How many people do you know that has got family members or friends that have died from fentanyl poisoning?

That's open borders. That's all it is, open borders.

So let's hold them responsible. Let's declare war on these cartels and let's start shipping some folks back. That's it.

I hope you have a great weekend. I come from a complete, I guess, police family with a son in the FBI, son police chief, husband police chief. And I hear people saying, you said to yourself today, where were the police? How come there were no arrest mates? Hello, you sent 1,000 police officers out there and you've got 10,000 lawyers.

With clubs and everything else, what do you expect the police to do? If they arrest somebody and it's on television, then they overactive and they shouldn't have hit the person. I don't know what the people expect the police to do when they're so outnumbered. Where was the National Guard? You knew there was going to be a problem because Netanyahu was there.

Who was in charge of calling the National Guard? Protect our flag? Send in the National Guard when you know there's going to be a problem. and they certainly knew there was going to be a problem.

Well, Elizabeth, I'd be willing to wager that there was a stand-down order given by the radical leftist mayor of Washington, D.C. I'm willing to wager a Chick-fil-A sandwich that actually happened. But what we need to do is release the handcuffs from the police and let them get out there and do their jobs. Great to be with you. You know, I think, if nothing else, the past couple of weeks and the events that have transpired have really helped illustrate for the American people the choices we have on Election Day in November. What do you say to that? Absolutely. We have people currently in the White House, currently all over the administration, that want to control our lives from before birth to death.

They want to control our washing machines, everything that we eat, as Ted Cruz was saying, and our dishwashers, everything. They would like to control our lives. What kind of car we drive, they think we know better than we know about how we should be running our lives. You know, when you look at what happened yesterday in the nation's capital, and we just had Congressman Brandon Williams on and Jerry Carl. They were out there replacing the American flags last night.

But that's what was going on on university campuses all across America. I know you have been at the forefront of this fight on the Education Committee. Right. And I was really pleased to hear Prime Minister Netanyahu give a shout-out to the fraternity at UNC Chapel Hill. That's my alma mater.

I called down there that day and spoke to the chancellor and thanked him for what he was doing out there replacing the flag. Yes, we have been at the forefront on the Education and Workforce Committee. We have held hearings on the anti-Semitism that's going on on the campuses, and we have brought that to light. As I said in my comments at the first hearing and the second hearing, There is a tremendous rot in the campuses, on the campuses, and it's our job as members of Congress and our committee in particular, the Education Workforce Committee, to bring this out so that we can show the American people how bad it is on the campuses. I want to play a clip of audio.

Kamala Harris out on the campaign trail speaking to educators today, and she had something very interesting to say about what they're calling the book bans, but we all know them not to be book bans. We're talking about very inappropriate pornographic material that was found in grade school libraries. Here's how Kamala Harris framed that just a few moments ago book bans in this year of our lord 2024 and on these last two issues on these last two issues just think about it so we want to ban assault weapons and they want to ban books what a what a weird campaign strategy there uh defending these pornographic books in grade school libraries. Oh, absolutely right. And there are lots of videos to show about how they want to continue having drag queen story hours with children in elementary school.

But you're absolutely correct, Todd. This is not a book ban. It is what are the appropriate books for students to be reading in elementary and middle school. And the kinds of things that they were pushing and are pushing on the schools is totally inappropriate. And all the schools are saying and parents are saying is, don't have those books out on the shelf.

Have them behind the librarian's desk and let age-appropriate children check out those books, not banning books. That is not what Republicans do. What happens, what's happening on the campuses with the anti-Semitism is what happened, you know, in Germany in the 1930s where they singled out Jewish students and harassed them and ultimately banned them from the universities. What happened to Jewish students, faculty, and staff is that they were harassed and made to feel very uncomfortable. In fact, many of them were injured as a result of the anti-Semitism pro-Hamas demonstrations that were held on campus.

I'm curious, did you have a chance to watch President Biden's address to the nation last night? I did, and I thought it was pretty pitiful. You know, he has not explained to the American people yet why he is not running for re-election. He made it seem as though he is the defender of democracy and Republicans are the destroyers of democracy. No.

First of all, we're not a democracy. We are a republic. And I think it's important that we always talk about that. But, again, let's go back to who is it that wants to control our lives. It is the Democrats who want to take away our freedom of choice on automobiles, cars, food, all those things.

Todd, the only thing they seem to want to promote choice in is in killing babies. That's all they want to promote choice in. In everything else, they think the bureaucrats know better than we ourselves know. that's well well stated well congresswoman we really appreciate all of your time and the great work you're doing i do want to ask you though real quick before we let you go how proud were you to see the unc fraternity brothers at the at the rnc a few weeks ago well i didn't get a chance to go to the uh convention but very very proud of the uh fraternities i'm a big supporter of fraternities and sororities. I wouldn't have been able to join a sorority when I was in school, but they are important programs.

That's another thing. Harvard wants to do away with them. Harvard does not want the freedom of association, and that's something we've been fighting in our committee, too. We want the students to be able to associate freely with people of like mind, and I was very proud of the UNC students for what they did. All right.

What's that about? it's a great question and you know todd me as christians i'm a christian we gotta be we can't be complacent people listening we can't be complacent now we gotta stand up and we have to be militant pray and you know bob will want it anyway and to kamala harris man i hope she's and that she should because if she needs to hear this, Kamala Harris, you are nothing more than a cackling idiot. And anybody who votes for her, you're a fool. We need a strong leader, and that is President Trump. Do you think, Todd, that all this stuff going on now would be happening if Trump were in the presidency right now?

Sarah it's a it's a fair point you raise and and thank you for affirming my righteous anger you know Ben Dieter here's what gets me and I know um to to bring this around to something a report I heard locally in Memphis you know early voting and I went to go vote um walked in and there was nobody there except the people manning the polls and you know I'm like where is everybody Why aren't the people getting out? And, you know, again, we're controlled. We're ruled by Democrats here, and they're very bad people.

They've been governing horribly and have turned our city into a war zone. And I know a lot of the Republicans around here are riled up and fighting mad, but Republicans aren't even getting out to vote. Did you go to the wrong place, Todd? Are you sure you actually went to a polling location? No, I was there.

Yeah, I was there. I got my little sticker and everything. Did you use a paper ballot? oh yes by the way that freaked them out uh they were like wait well all right well you'll have to come over to this table and well i'm like okay fine whatever i need to do i did the same thing they get so annoyed they were they were very annoyed i think we're paranoid how many republicans were on your ballot i only had get this i only had two people on my ballot two names in my primary because that's the other thing not only do republicans not vote we also don't run for elected offices there were hundreds of democratic names there were only two on my ballot because i'm a republican wow yeah that's sad that's sad well it's unfortunate but you know again if you don't get out and vote and then they turn around and raise your property taxes and try to take your guns away you know they're trying to take away the guns from law-abiding americans here in memphis did you you were covering that this morning on the morning show the thinking is is well memphis is different than any other county in Tennessee.

So therefore, because we're so different and we're the Wild West, we should take away the Bill of Rights. That's their thinking. But they also have what it's there. They're not calling it the red flag law. But if you if they perceive you to be a threat, then they could come and take away your guns.

Correct. That's that's a big no, no. And it was unanimous. Is that right on this Memphis City Council? The Republicans voted for a gun grab.

The Republicans in Memphis voted for a gun grab. Are they going to be censured? I mean, is there any way? I mean, I have to imagine if you're a Republican listening to us on KWAM right now, you're pretty upset.

Well, they're not too upset. Not upset enough that they don't or primary these Republicans on the city council. They've been in there for a hot second. It's a different strain of Republican in Memphis. Yes, they're called Democrats.

They need to break it to them. Is that it? How dare you? How dare you call me a Democrat? I just want to take away your guns and raise your taxes.

Yes, that's a Democrat. How dare you? Oh, they get so upset. They try to, like, censure the station that you own. They don't want to come on after we call them out.

So there is one of the best campaign videos I have seen so far this season. and the guy who who did it is a small business owner he's a state senator in missouri and he's running to be the next governor of the show me state and the video is all about deporting illegals and the our our guest had a a translator who was explaining to all the illegals what was about to happen to them if he becomes governor on the patriot mobile newsmaker line is bill igel who is also an Air Force veteran. Mr. Eigle, good to have you with us today. Hey, thanks for having me.

Pleasure. And I have to ask you, how did you come up with this very clever idea of a campaign ad?

Well, I feel like we were actually taking care of multiple objectives in one video. Not only were we making very clear what we're going to do to start the deportation of illegals in the state of Missouri, but we actually had it in multiple languages, English and Spanish, so that everybody understands no matter where you are on this issue, no matter where you are in Missouri, everybody understands very clearly what we're going to do. And, you know, Donald Trump has been very clear that he's going to have a mass deportation of illegals in this country.

So I really felt like this was, you know, on one hand, very straightforward. We're going to deport every single illegal in the state of Missouri starting in January when I take office.

So it's been very well received and we're pretty excited. I'm curious, how do you do that? What's the plan to round everybody up? Yeah, great question.

So what we're going to do on my first day in office is under our state constitution, the governor has the authority to declare an invasion. And when he does that, that makes sure that the highway patrol in our state, the National Guard in our state, and every one of our sheriffs in every single county in our state will then have the authority to detain and deport individuals or address individuals that are part of the invasion.

So this could be addressed right now, and that's the frustrating thing. We don't actually have to wait for another election and then wait for January to get here for our governors to start to act. Our current governor, Mike Parson, could have taken these steps years ago. He could do it right now. Right in the middle of this phone call, he could do it.

But he continues to do nothing, and we've had kind of a rhino problem here in the state of Missouri, and that's really what I'm pushing against.

Now, Congressman, this is your first time on the show. I don't like to trigger people at all.

so I just want to say my apologies if what I'm about to share with you might trigger you but you need to be aware that the Kansas City Red Star did not like your ad very much as a matter of fact they called it racist you know why is it racist to want to enforce the laws in our country why is it racist to want to enforce immigration laws I've never really understood the connection I've been And as you can imagine, I've been doing a lot of interviews with multiple media outlets, and they want me to comment on this. But these policies that are going to make our country strong, like following the law, like lowering the tax burden, and treating everybody the same under the law, these aren't racist. This is what a normal, rational, stable society actually looks like.

So I know that it's easy to trigger and offend folks in today's political conversation. But I think the reason that this is kind of cutting through all of that clutter that we're seeing from these liberal media outlets is because it's so clear and it's so concise of exactly what we intend to do on the day I take office.

So I know that you've got a lot of competition out there and the Republican establishment doesn't really like you very much. That's because you want to do crazy radical things like slash the budget. Yes. Yes. Well, you know, in the state of Missouri, You know, we're a pretty red state, and yet in our state, our current governor, Mike Parson, and one of my opponents, the lieutenant governor, Mike Kehoe, have doubled the size of our state budget just in the past five years.

Amazingly, they have increased state spending more in five years of their administration than every Democratic governor combined going back to the founding of our state. That's how liberal and center-left their fiscal policy is.

So when you're growing government that much, well, guess what we haven't had time for? We haven't had the room to cut the income taxes in this state or to cut property taxes in this state.

So there's a lot of disaffected Republicans out there who keep going to the polls every two years on the first Tuesday in November demanding the Missouri I'm talking about, bold action on illegal immigration, reduction in the tax burden. And they keep getting disappointed by these rhinos. You know, Mike Kehoe, the guy I'm running against, actually came out and he called my plan to deport all the legals. He said that was foolish. Those were his words.

He said it was impractical. He did this on the same day that the Casey Red Star, I love how you termed that, endorsed him for the nomination.

Well, of course they did because he is a liberal rhino. And as more folks find this out in the state of Missouri, they're coming to our side. That's why we're surging in the polls. And I've been predicting this for two years because I'm talking to so many of these Republicans around Missouri that are just tired of the status quo. And for the same reason that Donald Trump is winning the country right now of being that disruptor in Washington, D.C., I'm going to be this disruptor down in Jefferson City in the great Show Me State.

Well, no, I'm excited about this. And I know, look, it's an uphill battle. But what bothers me, and I'm a registered Republican, what really bothers me about the Republican Party, Congressman, is that, okay, fine, you're not going to tackle illegal immigration. You're not going to tackle the culture war stuff anymore. Can we at least be fiscal conservatives?

Is that asking too much? But we can't even do that.

So again, my point is we're either going to be a Republican Party or we're going to be Democrat-lite. Right. And you know what? You know what the cost is of every time we betray the Republican brand by increasing the budget, by spending more, every dollar we waste? That's what fractures the Republican Party.

You know, the moderates, the rhinos, the media, they want everyone to believe that the reason the Republican Party is fractured is that there are these crazy right-wing guys that are always trying to do too many conservative things. That's not true at all. The reason the party is fractured in Missouri but around the country, the reason it's fractured is because we've got too many rhinos that want to do non-Republican things, like raise the tax burden, like not deal with the illegal immigration problem, like increase spending. And when they call on all the Republicans around the country to do these non-Republican things, it fractures the party. Donald Trump is calling for unity right now.

I think that's the right message. The unity is going to be gained when we are all acting like the Republicans we promised to be in campaign season. I'm incredibly unpopular down in Jefferson City right now because I became exactly who I said I was going to be. A tough conservative that cuts taxes, pushes government, and confronts this swamp that's keeping, in our case, the state of Missouri back. But we're seeing the same thing around the country.

So again, Bill, I have not been following the gubernatorial race there much.

So if the polling data is off here, my apologies and you can correct me. But what I find fascinating, one poll released a couple of weeks ago, this is ARW Strategies, shows Kehoe in the lead with 24%. You tied with Jay Ashcroft at 19 But what fascinating about this is that Ashcroft was leading by a massive amount So it looks like his numbers are falling off and you gaining a lot of ground here Yes. In fact, I remember when the first poll came out about two years ago, Secretary Ashcroft, I think, was at 54 percent.

So he's gone from 54 percent where he started two years ago, and now he's down into the middle to upper teens. That's extraordinary. And I think that folks are not looking for a name, just a name in politics. His last name, Ashcroft, is very well known in Missouri. But people really want to know, what are you going to do in these positions of powers that's going to improve and protect the rights of the people of that state?

And we've seen people in mass move away from the secretary because he's been struggling with a lot of these issues.

So we've seen my poll numbers just the opposite. You know, I think my first poll, I was at one percent. Imagine having that conversation with my wife, right? I mean, we're at 1% right now, honey. We're going to catch the guy that's at 54.

And yet here we are 12 days away from the election, and we're within the margin of error first place. Nobody in Jefferson City could imagine me getting this far because nobody in Jefferson City can imagine the Missouri that I'm talking about. You go down to Jefferson City right now and talk to all the special interests. They're saying things like, well, you know, we can't deport the illegals, right? We can't get rid of property taxes.

We can't eliminate the income tax. And we certainly can't reduce spending down in Jefferson City. They can't imagine this Missouri. But this is the Missouri that I'm in my heart of hearts. I believe that Missourians want to see.

And, you know, I tell this story very briefly. And I've got a daughter. I've got two children. My son is serving in the Navy. My other child, Lisa, just graduated college.

She's got a 4.0 GPA. She's beautiful. And she got both of those things from her mother. But I know that no matter what she does, she's going to be successful. And maybe this is selfish of me, but whatever she does to be successful, I don't want her to have to move to all those other big red states that are leading the country right now.

I don't want her to have to find success in Texas or Florida or Tennessee. I'm hoping that she can find it right here in the Show Me State. And if, God willing, there's some grandchildren in my future, that they'll grow up right here where I raised my own family, right here in Missouri in the Show Me State. I think that's terrific. But according to the White House pool reporter, the president, President Biden, was very hard to hear. and we heard the same thing from the pool reporter last night in the in the oval office when biden announced that he was well we don't know what he was announcing last night he was all over the place but you know what did you see the photograph of the first family man did they look angry and dejected furious and all i could think of was as i was watching the whole motley crew of biden's there who's going to be the first one one to turn on old joe who's gonna who's gonna give up the goods to save their own skin all right gotta take a break we'll be right back oh dear i may have a problem here so deter here's the deal uh deter is running an errand tonight I'm just going to say congratulations to the Whitehaven Republican Club.

This is a Republican group that was formed in a predominantly black, middle-class neighborhood, a beautiful area of the Stearns family. That's where our roots are in Whitehaven. And anyway, they're celebrating their one-year anniversary, and we're in charge of the food, Ben. Yeah, Todd, do you want to tell your listeners how many cakes I'm probably going to be picking up in an hour? I was supposed to order three cakes from the Frost Bake Shop, but I may have ordered six.

Holy crap. And those are huge cakes. They're delicious cakes. What are we, the food pantry? No, we're better than that.

I mean, clearly.

So I have the website pulled up of where you bought these cakes. Frost Bake Shop, which is a really great bakery. I got the strawberry cake and a chocolate cake and a vanilla. I'm a big vanilla guy. And what they're telling me is you also ordered the coconut, the German chocolate cake and the lemon cake.

I may have ordered a lot of cake. But then also, immediately after the Newsmax show, I've got to scoot over to Chick-fil-A because we're doing the whole Chick-fil-A catering.

So we've got dinner and a show tonight. Who needs the country club and the cocktail parties and the croquet match? That's right. Look, so if you're in Whitehaven tonight, 6 o'clock, come on down to the YMCA, and you'll meet me and Ben. We'll be serving cake.

All right, let's go to Patty. speaking of front lines uh patty w s i see our great affiliate out there hi patty how are you i'm great todd i was at the rally and guess what he was spot on he is sharper than brandon so hold on patty so because normally you're just like right out of the gate we have to lower your sound levels but we can't do that because it sounds like you were cheering and shouting you were at president trump's rally in charlotte yesterday yes i was at bojangles coliseum bojangles coliseum yep love it so and you want there was so many people there there's people waiting outside for miles i'm telling you whatever the fake news says you know there are you know i'm not even going to go there but he i'm going to tell you something here's a reason why he he he got pushed that bullet out of the way because kamala harris is not going to be you're right i agree with you kamala harris is not going to be no she's not going to be the person yeah no so who do you think is todd well i think it's going to be michelle obama i know no i really do well if let me ask you a question though if obama endorses kamala wouldn't that take that off the table if he does yes i would think so but but he hasn't done that and he's holding his fire and look james carville gave us a little bit of a clue because he said kamala's already seen her best days out on the campaign trail and by the way somebody's already leaking intel here uh new York Post had a piece up late yesterday, and sources within the Biden camp are saying that Obama hasn't endorsed Kamala Harris because Obama doesn't believe that she can beat Trump.

Well, I'm sure she can't, because I'm going to tell you something. That shot that, you know, that July 13th, let me tell you something. If it wasn't meant to be, God has bigger plans with Donald Trump. And I think that he's going to win in a landslide in November. Yeah, I do too, Patty.

If we all get out and vote like we're supposed to, and really, if the numbers are too big to rig, I think he will win in a landslide. I absolutely believe that. Yes, I do. And I guess what? Did you have good seats, Patty?

You didn't have to wait outside too terribly long. I was way in the back. Oh, I got there real early. I mean, you know how when you, Todd, you've been at rallies. They check very thoroughly.

They check everything. Oh, it's true. It's true. It's kind of like, but I have to tell you, they're a lot more gentler than the TSA agents.

So to speak. All right, Patty, good hearing from you. And I am so happy that you were able to see Trump. It looked like so much fun. And, again, that was at Bojangles Coliseum there in Charlotte.

10,000 people. And I'm telling you, Patty is a tough cookie. And I'll tell you why. Because a lot of people were getting the heat was so outrageous. People were, you know, they were dropping.

Glad to be on your show. Thanks for having me. Hey, absolutely. You know, this is like, I don't know what it is, but this is music month on the show. We've had Lee Greenwood on, John Rich, and now you.

Well, I appreciate that. I love those guys. Those guys are patriotic, just like myself. That's a good company.

Well, great company. And we love Christians on this program. We love patriots on this program.

So you're just checking off the boxes for us, Danny. Yeah, you know what? But I think because we don't have a lot of patriots left, I think that's why we're in a little bit of decline right now. Because any time you become contemptual about the country, about your marriage, about your children, about your job, about your relationship with God, it's the beginning of the end. We've got to realize that, right?

You know, you're right. And our good friends over at Skillet, they kind of feel the same way. And it's kind of a rare thing. And I guess we went through this period in the country where folks really didn't want to talk about, you know, patriotism and love of country. But then you have like this new generation of folks like Riley Gaines and other kids coming up out of school.

And it's just sort of exciting for people to embrace, you know, the greatness of this country that we're just all privileged to live in. Yeah, we are. And I think we have to ask ourselves, you know, with all the voices and all the ideology going around. Like one of the things that I think about is like, you know, Satan didn't come to Eve with a machine gun or a bat. He came with an idea.

And that idea got into her mind and she became a prison to her own idea. And it's interesting. We got to kind of cut the ideology out and begin to say, well, why do I think the way I think? You know what I mean? Because the thing is, it's not the enemy from without.

It's the enemy from within. A lot of times we can put ourselves in the prisons, our own prisons, through ideology. And then we throw away the key and then we wonder why we're so miserable. Right. You know, earlier in the show today, the phones have been blowing up.

People are just really – they were impacted by the images coming out of Washington yesterday with the flags being burned, and then last night you had all these lawmakers coming out in the dark of night and re-raising, reposting the American flag and just reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. And I think – I'm wondering, are you sensing that there is maybe a resurgence of patriotism in the country? Are you seeing that out there? Yeah, we are seeing it. And I think this is a good one because I think people are starting to realize, wait, maybe I'm biting off, you know, some lies that are actually not beneficial for my life, nor for the future of my life, nor for the future of my country.

And I think people are kind of waking up because they're seeing that the side that looks like justice, right, the part that has no mercy in it, it's just all justice, do away with our country and do away, everything's racist and everything's wrong. They're starting to see, oh, that has consequences. You know, bad ideas have victims. And we've seen so many victims that people are waking up and saying, hey, I don't want to be a victim of this ideology because I'm becoming complicit to our own suicide of our country. People are waking up, and I think what's so interesting is we're seeing that politically correct got us into this position in the first place.

And when you see someone like Donald Trump rise up and who's not politically correct yet is getting things done, you start seeing that politically correctness is an ideology to keep you trapped as well. And so people are like, forget politically correct. That gives you more trouble in the future. I just want to be supportive of my country. yep no i love it danny do we have you with us we got a little garbled there oh i'm so sorry i'm here all right you're ungarbled that's good all right so look uh let's talk about let's talk about the album and you've got so you're gonna have to help me out here i i hit i'm in my 50s now so i'm trying my best to keep up with the lingo i just found out that brat is no longer a bad connotation, apparently.

Really? Yeah, who knew? But you've got something here called a grat track, and I've never heard of a grat track, but it's available today, whatever that is. Tell us about the grat track. I don't know.

This is news for me. I didn't realize I had a grat track today, but apparently what I know what it means in the past is that you can go and get a song that's not released yet, early look into another song off the album.

So, I mean, they've been doing slow releases, but now there's another free track to go listen to on Apple or Spotify. You can hear a few of the songs that have come out, but the whole album drops tomorrow. But a track is another free track to listen to before the whole record is released. I love it.

Well, the new focus track, Wannabe, is available today, everybody. And, of course, tomorrow the entire album comes out. And these are all new songs. Is that right, Danny? Yes, these are all new songs.

And these are songs that hopefully, you know, come to heaven. The album is on to heaven. And, you know, heaven is a very diverse place. And, you know, I grew up in a very diverse place. One of the things I love about our country is that we are the melting pot and that all cultures come together and find a hope and find the American dream here.

And so that culture has impacted my sound.

So on this record, you know, it's not just Christian contemporary music or praise or worship, although that's on there. It's reggaeton because, you know, if people know me, I'm a white boy who speaks Spanish. I've been around the Spanish culture. My wife is Latina. matter of fact i think a lot of my patriot patriotism comes from my wife's family was kicked out of communist cuba and they suffered at the hands of ideology that looked good in the beginning but ended up being a trap and so but so there's a spanish that that reggaeton and afro beats i'm getting into and it's just a very diverse album it's full of hope and encouragement and if people don't like that well they can listen to my patriotic album that i put out right before this one i put out three songs to celebrate our country and they can the album's called brave as well no i'm excited about this is very this is pretty awesome and folks you're going to want to get a copy of this uh again it releases uh tomorrow the studio album and by the way i'm curious uh just kind of sort of off the i'm off on a tangent here um are you guys are you starting to see more artists releasing the old vinyl you know those vinyl albums back in the day uh i am seeing that that has been a trend that has been happening i'd say for honestly for the last decade it's I've seen the upward sway, but it's more and more because people love the nostalgic.

The sound is unlike no other, and so I want to do a vinyl version of this one as well. I love it.

Yeah, well, I'll definitely get that one as well. I'm with you. There's something about vinyl. I kind of came up through vinyl. I was like late 70s, early 80s, so we got the whole eight-tracks and all that, or was it the eight-track tapes and then the cassette tapes?

that was the jam back in the day. It really was. The sound has changed.

Now everything is coming off to just digital on your phone, so people are going back to actually the hard copies of things, which is really good. Is this true?

So your albums have accumulated 300 million global streams. That's what your press folks are telling us. That's huge. I think we're around a billion, to be honest. A billion?

All right.

We're going to tell them to send a correction. a billion yeah because i have one song alone last year or this year that hit almost 300 million by itself a song called strong and so yeah i think we're maybe two billion total streams i think sorry am i patting my own stuff on the back hold on danny are you getting like a buck a stream is that how it works here in the music industry no spotify is getting a buck a stream us we're getting i mean i think it's in the thousands of a penny for a stream that is so that is so wrong but that's a conversation for another day but still this is so exciting and again folks albums like this I love this so many different styles of music genres folks you're going to want to get a copy of Sound of Heaven the new project from Danny Gokey and Danny we just love your work and we just really appreciate your heart and we also love that you love America and you're not ashamed of it I'm not ashamed of it And this is – imagine if I was ashamed of my wife and didn't want to talk about my wife.

Well, that's the beginning of the end. I think it's very weird how we think it's right to think that way. But I guess we're pushing back and saying, no, no, no.

So I appreciate your support because it seems like it's a slow turn happening right now. I can feel at times that you stand alone on this battle. It's true. It's true. And you're a Tennessean, too, so you're good people.

Oh, hey, hey, fine. I listen to your show all the time. It's great. I belong to a GOP ladies group and we've talked a lot about paper ballots and we believe that they we should go back to the paper ballots and everybody vote uh but you can vote early but everything has got to be in by voting day and there's no delay we know who won that night yeah i love that idea maryann and and i will tell you that's that's the only way i vote and it always catches people by surprise i don't if you've ever gone and asked for that paper ballot, but you have to ask for it, and they'll give it to you, but I'm with you. I think that is the best way to do it.

It needs to be mandatory, just paper ballots, and have all the votes in by the evening of voting, and we'll know that night. I saw a video this past year that showed how they changed the vote, so this was really not an honest election that last time.

Well, I'll say this, Marianne. One of the ideas I've heard thrown around, and I like this idea, is to make election day a national holiday. Everybody gets a day off. You go, you vote. You can have cookouts and fireworks and celebrate America, but you vote on one day.

Medium Barbie and small Barbie. Big and Barbie. Wait, blind Barbie? Are they just going through the gamut?

I think so. I think so. Ken dolls, by the way. Also, they have multiple Ken dolls. They're now accessorized with cornrows or man buns.

Representation matters. I do wonder. I mean, what I do wonder at what somebody said, well, are they going to have a gay Barbie? Yes, his name is Ken.

So that being said, a lot of people are wondering, all right, well, will there be a like a pansexual Barbie or a I don't know, a two spirit Barbie or a transgender Barbie, which would basically be a Ken doll. that would be easier i think to do a trans barbie because it could basically be a ken doll with high heels and a wig right so todd have you seen have you seen blind barbie have you actually seen the yes because i can see oh i have eyesight not good eyesight but i can blind barbie has a white cane with the marshmallow tip other than that it looks like barbie they also well they also have um a legless barbie where you can like in a wheelchair and you can attach or detach the prosthetic legs wow they need a kamala barbie it's a kamala barbie it just says venn diagram over and over again hey got it we gotta run be good america geez hello
