Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. I love this American. Todd Starnes. All right.

Well, hello, America. Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Program. Very happy to be back with you today. Want to thank our good friend Jeff Stein. Did a great job.

And Andy Hoosier filling in as I was in New York City in the Big Apple. And we had a great time with Newsmax. By the way, thank you to everybody who took a few moments to watch the show on Friday night.

So had a great conversation with Dr. Ben Carson, also Pastor Greg Laurie, who, by the way, we're going to broadcast some of that conversation in just a little while. And Greg Laurie, of course, one of the great pastors. And he actually pastors a church in Maui. And we got his take on what happened there, this horrible tragedy.

So, anyway, it is good to be back with you, though. And we have got a very busy week as we await the indictments. Yes, that's plural indictments coming from Atlanta. I will say this: based on what I saw over the weekend at the Iowa State Fair, that the main attraction. Was not the deep-fried sticks of butter.

It wasn't the pork on a stick, it was Donald Trump. I mean this man is running Running away with the nomination. And of course, a lot of the candidates were there. You had Vivek Ramaswamy, who was rapping to Eminem, which I would advise. Never do that again.

A little pitchy, just going to be honest. And the beat was just, it was a little off. But I don't fault him for that because he's not MM. You had Larry Elder out there, Ron DeSantis, and look, it was a big crowd. And a lot of people go out to the Iowa State Fair.

I will say this: that every time Trump showed up, Ron DeSantis looks just so much smaller. And he was doing a, they call it a fair side chat with the governor there, Kim Reynolds. When Trump Force One flew over, people started cheering for the plane because, again, none of the other candidates have their own gentliner, but Donald Trump does. And he was greeted like a rock star. As a matter of fact, there was this one thing, you know, when they do the fairs, you know, you guys, when you do your fairs, you have like things that you do.

And I'm curious, I don't know what your theme is. I know in Iowa and Kansas, they do things with corn and butter that are rather unusual. And no, nothing, nothing risque, Dylan. They're just, you know, giant, like, you know, I know a giant cow made out of butter. Wow.

Ooh, cool. Or they, you know, deep fry something. That's what we do here in the South. We deep fry something, and it's very delicious. But anyway, they do something in Iowa called egg on a stick.

And I don't know what it is. Maybe you've had one of these eggs on a stick, and you can educate us. But basically, it looks like somebody is stabbing a stick into an egg. And I guess you eat it. I don't know.

So anyway, Ron DeSantis was manning the egg on a stick booth because that's what you do when you're running for president of the United States. And he was offering people the sticks. And I guess he was trying to have a conversation. And Lord love him. It's just hard for DeSantis.

He's not a good one-on-one kind of a guy. And so anyway, he was trying to strike up a conversation. And one of the people in line said, I'm just here for the egg. Yeah. That's not good.

I'm just here for the egg. Just give me the egg and let me be. And it is what it is.

So I kind of felt bad for the guy. I really felt bad. It was kind of like when he showed up at the Dairy Queen and nobody noticed. They didn't even bother to take his order. It's sad.

I mean, it's really sad. Anyway, we're going to get into more of that in just a moment. But may I start the show today? With something that happened in Delaware just a little while ago.

So Joe Biden is on vacation again. And he is at the beach, Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. And he was asked once again about about what's happening in in Maui. And and folks It is bad. It is very bad.

As a matter of fact, they're telling us there are about a thousand people that are missing. And there's a very good chance those people will not be found. And we don't know what the final death toll numbers are going to be, but right now it's hovering around 100, I believe 96. You could expect those numbers to increase dramatically. Worst case scenario, you could have over a thousand people that were.

That were consumed by these flames, that were burned to death as a result of this wildfire. And a lot of people are. very suspicious of of this of how this fire started. By the way, have you seen the stories? And you got to be careful with social media these.

You just don't know what's real and what's not. And now with AI, you don't even know if people are human or not.

So there was a lot of speculation that this was started by some sort of a laser, a laser beam that shot down from no, I'm not making this up, a laser beam that shot down from the sky and began the fire. And they point out that the fire was burning in a circular pattern.

Now, it turns out that the two videos that are circulating have nothing to do with Maui. As a matter of fact, one of them was, I believe, a SpaceX rocket that was blasting off, and the other was from somewhere else, some other country. It has nothing to do with Maui. But you know, a lot of people are out there speculating that this fire was not a natural occurrence. And I'm just sharing this information with you.

And I will say this: if you are On the interwebs, you've got to make sure that you double-check and triple-check your information.

So, anyway, a lot of people don't, they're just very confused and alarmed about what went down. And people are saying, how is this possible? How is it possible? That so many people died in this wildfire. And that is a fair question to ask.

And it certainly looks like people were trying to escape when you look at the cars that were charred and burned on the roadways, people jumping into the ocean to I mean, it was a It was horrible, and it was horrifying.

So they've asked President Biden about this, right?

So they asked him about it at the beach. And he said no comment. No comment. They asked him again this morning as he was getting into a car, mister President, do you want to say anything about what happened in Maui? And again.

A no comment. How do you have a no comment? on a story like this.

Well, the answer is very simple. This man is an evil man. This man is a cold hearted man. Joe Biden, Joe Biden will not even acknowledge the existence granddaughter.

So, what makes you think he's actually going to have compassion for the good people of Maui? He hasn't even been to East Palestine, Ohio. And those people were devastated by the train accident. White House says he's going to go, but he still hasn't been. Why is that?

I think this is truly the heart of Joe Biden. He doesn't care about anybody except for himself and his bottom line. And I think that's one of the reasons why the kids became drug addicts, because he doesn't even care about his own kids. This is a very bad evil man. A cold-hearted, callous man.

Even MSDNC is starting to understand this. Nobody can understand why the man will not weigh in. And I don't think you can blame his diminished capacity. I don't think you can blame the senility or the dementia or whatever he's got. I think this is just the true nature of Joe Biden.

What we see in times of crises is the real Joe Biden. A very evil man. The only person Joe Biden cares about is Joe Biden. And that's why, that is why I believe he is not weighing in on anything to do with Maui. I mean this is a horrifying national tragedy.

You know, another big part of this. You talk about forestry and maintaining the forest. And cleaning out all the under underbrush so that you don't have these massive fires. Can we talk about for a moment about how all of these non-native species of grass and trees have been planted in Hawaii that led to the fire? These are believed to be the things that fueled the fires.

Hawaii used to not have these fires until Americans started planting all of these trees that did not belong there.

So yeah, there's probably much more to this story. But right now there is pain and suffering and the people of Hawaii are looking to the White House for comfort and aid and none is there to be had. And it's because he's a very bad man. I mean, it really is that simple. This is a man who would not even acknowledge his own grandchild.

You think he really cares about you people? I don't think so. All right, we got to take a break here. 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number.

That's 844-747-8868. Looking forward to talking to you folks. Good to be back. This is the Todd Starge Show. I've been taking Calatrin to help me lose weight, but I also noticed there are lots of other benefits.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Cerns Radio Program.

So I've I've been thinking a lot about this over the weekend. I got nailed by the. Disciples of Ron DeSantis. And man, these folks are a pretty nasty bunch. You know, DeSantis has all of these paid and unpaid influencers on social media.

And they're attacking anyone who is pro-Trump. And they're coming after you. They accuse you of not being religious. They think you don't love Jesus. They question your.

Your patriotism, and they accuse you of being some sort of a nationalist.

Now, I've been pretty clear about this on the program. I like Ron DeSantis. It's his followers that I have a problem with, and they're making it, but they're making it very hard for me to like Ron DeSantis. But clearly something's not working. I mean, they've had two staff upheavals and that's only getting worse, and it's not moving the needle.

And I'm curious to hear from you what is it that the scientist needs to do to move the needle? Is this Ron DeSantis' time? Is what I'm trying to get at. Because the campaign he's running now, if he were to be running that campaign in 2028, I don't think that's a winning campaign for you. I really don't.

I mean, right now you've got DeSantis in third place in some of the polling data out there. You've got Vivek Eminem Ramaswamy, the rapper, who's actually beating DeSantis in some of these polls.

So I'm very curious to know from you if, in fact, you believe there is any hope here for Ron DeSantis. Do you think he's got a place in the Trump administration? And if so, where? Because I don't think the vice presidency is going to do it. I just don't see.

I don't see Ron DeSantis being a helpmate. To Donald Trump. But the meanness of his team, I think. Folks, it is vicious out there. And if they're not careful, the DeSantis people are going to splinter the Republican Party.

And who knows, that may be what they want after all. Maybe they want this whole thing to blow up in Trump's face.

So they can say, I told you so, you should have gone with DeSantis. But if that happens and hear me on this If Ron DeSantis Stays in this race. And then it turns out that they were working or sabotaging Donald Trump and his efforts? I don't think DeSantis has a future in the party. I really don't.

I don't see him making that move. And here's the reason why. It's the independents. That's who Ron DeSantis has to attract. It's the independents.

And right now, those independents are backing Donald Trump. I mean, there's really no way around it.

So, over the weekend, DeSantis was at the Iowa State Fair. And there were a lot of people there chanting.

So every time DeSantis spoke, people would start chanting the Trump chants.

Now, I have no doubt that there were Trump supporters there, but there are also a lot of other people who are radical leftist morons. And you could tell because most of those are like, you know, the fat women. And no offense here, but I mean, they're all pretty much the same. You can normally detect the liberal feminist in the crowd because they're large, overweight women with brightly colored hair. Very unnaturally coloured hair, by the way.

So, anyway, there's this one lady there. She's about 300 pounds, had a big old T-shirt with a profane message, and she had the bright blue hair. She was like a fat Smurfette. And she was causing all sorts of whatnot. And finally, the police had to come in and escort her out.

The way some of the media describe this woman is as if she was a Trump supporter and she was not. Anyway, all that to say, here's what went down when Governor Kim Reynolds tried to interview DeSantis, cut number 12. Craft Richie, Regina. Ladies and gentlemen of the Iowa State Fair, let's welcome Governor Kim Reynolds and Governor Ron DeSantis. It's good music.

It's good intro music. Driving down the streets a day. Yeah. I saw some for lemonade. I love lemonade.

Verdic. Kids I've ever seen in this front yard. They're hanging in there with us. Thank you so much. We really appreciate you being here as we have the opportunity.

Well, first of all, welcome back to State Fair. Ron, it's great to have you here.

So, welcome back. No, it's great to be here. We're really excited to see everybody. We appreciate how nice everybody is. Great to be in the Midwest.

I tell people, normally when I want to do Midwestern nights, I just go to Fort Myers in January, and I have half the Midwest there. But we love everybody that comes down to Florida, but particularly Southwest Florida from Iowa and other parts. Thank you.

Well, listen, good friend, former colleague, governor from Florida. And so I appreciate that and appreciate the friendly competition.

So, Ron's out there doing the 99 County Tour. I think you may be ahead of me. Hey, you know what? You know what? We're in Iowa.

And in Iowa, we're Iowa nice.

So let's give everybody the opportunity to hear our candidates.

So we'll stop. We'll stop. Until you do, but we're all going to have an opportunity to hear from each and every candidate. That's what we've been doing.

So, okay. All right, you better be Iowa nice, you people. You're not being Iowa nice. And we're going to talk to Jeff Stein about this tomorrow on the pro. He's our Iowa guru, and he really is the king of talk radio in the great state of Iowa.

And we're going to be I'm going to ask him about this. What is Iowa nice?

So, anyway, the governor was very upset. And look, If you're going to do an interview if you're going to do a situation like that. Be a little respectful, right? But it is also the state fair, so you're always going to have the raucous crowd.

So here's the issue I have. DeSantis did not do anything. He allowed the governor to fight his fight. The governor could have gotten up off of his chair and he should have. And he said, Hey, wait a second here, folks.

We're all conservative here. We're Republicans and we want to have a good conversation. We want to have a good time at the county fair. But he didn't do that. I mean, he allowed her to fight that fight.

Isn't that just weird? Is there something weird about that? That he that he doesn't stand up. And he doesn't push back. He lets her fight the fight.

I got a problem with that. It's just weird. Anyway, all that to say, the Trump people are. They're feeling pretty good. They've had good turnout at all the events.

And by the way, the DeSantis people, they will turn around and they will say, Well, it's not the size of the crowd that matters. No, it actually really is the size of the crowd that matters. And maybe, just maybe, DeSantis is going to win Iowa. I don't know.

But again, just because you support Donald Trump does not make you an evil person. Just because you support Donald Trump doesn't make you an American. And that's what the Team DeSantis people are out there saying. It's just really, it's really unfortunate how this is going. And I'm telling you, Team DeSantis people, you got to watch yourself or else you're going to split the party wide open.

All right, 844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stark Show. All right, a little rowdy down going down in Des Moines. Politico has the inside scooped. Apparently Team Trump and Team DeSantis going at it. At a bar, and this was a dive bar in Des Moines, and it all started because of the DeSantis campaign. According to Politico, they're saying that a bunch of DeSantis campaign staffers were at the dive bar.

And saw some Trump people in there, Trump supporters, wearing Trump garb. The exact nature not exactly clear what was on the Trump. Maybe it was the MAGA hats, I don't know. During the event itself at the State Fair, someone was flying a plane that said be likable, Ron. And it had the Jeb Bush exclamation mark.

Very clever. Anyway, according to two witnesses, the hats sparked a response from Trump's. Pack called Never Back Down. And one of the DeSantis people said, Yeah, now you lost. And then people were dropping F-bombs.

Nobody threw a punch.

So there was no physical fight.

So it's really not. I mean, if you're in a dye bar, you may as well fist fight, right? I mean, it's. Otherwise it's just like what's the point?

So there you go. Are you concerned that Team DeSantis is trying to split the party? eight four four seven four four four four four four four four four four four seven eighty eight sixty eight. Let's go to Jacksonville, North Carolina. Rex on the line.

Hi, Rex, what you got for us today? Uh, yes, sir, thank you for the call. You were talking about do you think Ron DeSantis is going to split the party? I think it's a ploy. that the most of his funding is coming from big money donors.

And I think it's nothing but a uh poi, just another never trump vote. that it's probably not his time right now for Ron. and that he should drop out. Help unite the country. Let Trump finish what he started.

And then at the end of four years, Crank his machine up and go to work.

So Rex, the argument from Team DeSantis is that the indictments are going to imperil Trump. He's not going to be able to campaign effectively. Do you buy into those arguments? Do you have those concerns? No, sir, not a bit.

There you go. All right.

Well, yeah, go ahead, Rex. He just gets stronger. You know, it certainly looks that way. It certainly does. As a matter of fact, USA Today, and Rex, I appreciate that call.

Thank you for listening today. USA Today points out that the harder that DeSantis tries, it's the more he drops in the polls. And a lot of the folks in Iowa, these political pundits, say, well, this is normal, that normally the nominee will not win Iowa, but will go on to do bigger and better things in other states. I just don't know about that. But DeSantis is now lagging behind Vivek Ramaswamy in some of these primary polls.

And let me say this: Vivek Ramaswamy is not a Republican. I know that people think he's this media darling, and yeah, the guy can rap and he's got this beautiful family. But when you do a deep dive, this guy has had a radical change in his politics and his philosophy on life within a very short amount of time. And that always concerns me. I want somebody running for president who is well established in their political beliefs.

That's what I want.

So we'll see how this goes. Let's go to Iowa, Don listening to us on the live stream. Hi, Don. What's on your mind? Oh, I'll tell you what, you got you've been talking about Uh Ron DeSanders, who's been down to Iowa State Fair.

Okay. And this is my thoughts on it. He is one guy he's he's been He's been um basically Y'all about Trump and all the things he's done and everything else. It's not for the good and ev everything. And I just kind of figure it this way.

This guy does not appreciate anything. If it wasn't for Donald Trump, he would have never been Governor of Florida. That's all I gotta say.

Well, Don, I am curious, what are you hearing in your state, though? I mean, if you're going down to the local diner or whatnot, are people are there DeSanta supporters out there? Or did you would you say there are more Trump supporters?

Well, I look around the country and I see a lot of Trump signs. I'm with you, Don, and I think it's that simple. I mean, I just do not see the DeSantis movement. I'm just not hearing about it. And, Don, I appreciate that call, and I would love to hear from you folks if you're in Iowa.

We're going to be talking to Jeff Stein tomorrow, but there's just a lot of There's just a lot of anger right now in that Within the DeSantis ranks, and it makes no sense. I don't understand why they are so angry. But it is certainly not going well for Ron DeSantis right now. And it could be just as simple as it's not his. Time.

So, I want to go to a story here, and this is pretty shocking.

So there is an organization in Iowa called the Family Leader. And Reuters did a big expose over the weekend. And this is an important thing. The family leader hosted that big event. You may have seen it.

Glenn Beck was there, and they had Tucker Carlson interviewing all the candidates. And it was. It was quite the scene. Donald Trump did not attend. And now there's a very good reason why, and we know the reason why.

And it's in this Reuters article.

So there's an evangelical group called the Family Leader, and they are very prominent. in the state of Iowa. And the leader of that organization, a guy by the name of Bob Vanderplant, and all the candidates want his endorsement because they say that he is so powerful. That That his endorsement will actually win you. Iowa.

So here's the headline. It turns out that this wasn't just some sort of a confab where you just get all the candidates together and you talk about their relationship with the Lord. No, that's not what this was about. According to Reuters, Ron DeSantis and his backers paid $95,000 to this organization, the family leader. It's really shocking.

And many of the other candidates were asked to fork over money as well. The DeSantis campaign, I'm reading from Reuters here, the DeSantis campaign, a super PAC linked to him, and a nonprofit group supporting him together paid $95,000 in recent months to the Family Leader Foundation.

Now, this is again an Iowa-based nonprofit led by evangelical leader Bob Vanderplatz. Let me stop right here for just a moment. I mean, this is nothing more than a pay-for-play. I mean, that's what this is. This stinks to high heavens.

According to documents released and reviewed by Reuters, the amount spent by DeSantis and his allies are previously unreported. But for that money, the DeSantis and his supporting groups got three pages of advertisements in a booklet distributed at the forum, which was attended by 2,000 Christian conservatives. They also got tickets to the summit, lunch and an after-dinner event.

Okay, I can see that costing maybe a couple of grand, maybe five grand if you're going to go on the high end, but $95,000? They were buying somebody's endorsement, folks. That's what was going on. According to Reuters, the real value may be more in building a relationship with Vander Platz, whose endorsement is coveted in the early voting state. That's according to three campaign finance experts and an academic who studies Iowa campaign spending.

So here's the deal. On this radio program, we have a candidate who comes on. I have endorsed that candidate, then I tell you that information. I share that information with you ahead of time. Why is that?

Why do I do that? Because I want to be transparent with you guys. I don't want you to feel like I'm pulling a fast one over on you.

So, if I'm interviewing Donald Trump, I've told you I have endorsed Donald Trump, and I'm proud of that endorsement. But it's important for me to to recognize that you understand that. And if somebody if somebody's buying advertising on the radio program, you better believe we're going to say that in advance of whatever interview we do with the candidate. Because we want you to know that.

So, you can factor that into your thinking when you're analyzing the conversation.

Well, Todd asked this question.

Well, maybe it's because the candidate gave X number of dollars. We're very open and upfront about all of that stuff. This right here is shady, ladies and gentlemen. Shady.

So, anyway, according to Vanderplatz, he says, This is great. I want to read this quote to you. Vanderplatz, and by the way, there's nothing illegal here. There's nothing illegal with what they're doing. This evangelical nonprofit is raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they don't have to pay a single penny of tax on it.

Not a one because they're non-profit. Vanderplatt says there was no link between money and his endorsement. My endorsement has never been and never will be for sale. My only interest is in bold, courageous, principled leadership for this country. He also said that he wished they could charge more money, and I bet they do.

Now, there's another group, and one that I am affiliated with, the Faith and Freedom Coalition. They have an Iowa chapter. They sponsor a forum. In Des Moines, that event charges $75 a ticket. Candidates can buy sponsorship packages ranging from $500 to $5,000.

At the higher end, candidates get more seats, a mention in the program as a sponsor, and a table to hand out literature. He said the group covers most of the costs from donors and not candidates. and they do not endorse anyone.

Well, there you go. Vander Platt does endorse people. And they do consider him to be a kingmaker in Iowa.

So the question is, and it's a very simple question here. Is Ron DeSantis getting good press from the evangelicals because he's forking over thousands of dollars? Tens of thousands of dollars to the evangelical groups. Is this really a genuine? Um relationship, or is this one based on how much you're going to pay me?

It's a valid question, and again, Family leader, they've done nothing illegal, they've done nothing wrong here, but it certainly smacks of pay-for-play. All right.

Are you surprised by that, by the way? And this is, I don't know why, this just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. That evangelicals are just, it just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight is our number. That's eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight.

Let's go to Alan in Maine, listening to us on WLOB. Hi, Alan. What's on your mind today? I got real quick one for ya. Simply put, think about this.

I'm not thinking about money or. who's paying for candidates. I'm thinking about Uh How many years did Biden have?

So if he gets reelected, he'll have four terms. Any of that? Right.

Well, he'll have two terms. Yeah, Biden has two terms. BP twice, right? And then. And then you So that would be four terms, which is what Obama wanted.

And maybe Obama's getting it through Biden anyway. Who knows? That's what my concern is.

So I wouldn't mind seeing a Trump and DeSantis because DeSantis kept the state open. And Trump's an economist, so. It's a win win with both of them. Yes. Look, I have no doubt, Alan, no doubt, that Obama is pulling the strings.

And this is his as you correctly pointed out, this would be his four terms in office if Biden gets reelected. And that's why this is so dangerous. But again, Alan, and it's nice to see some of the other conservatives coming on board with this idea that we first posited here is that it's not going to be Biden. There's a very good chance it could be Michelle Obama. And I think it's going to come down to how Trump does in the Republican primaries.

If he blows through the primaries, Alan, I think they I don't think that a The governor of California, Gavin Newsom, is going to be able to beat Trump. Michelle Obama, that could be a pretty ugly race.

Well, that because we already had A black president So now that's what Hillary was working on, a female president, or excuse me. I don't know if that's the right terminology today, but. We call her lady POTUS, but yeah, that's uh okay. All right, Alan. Appreciate that call and thank you for listening.

And Topanga, California, very nice area of Los Angeles, high-end shopping district, and they have a Nordstrom there. And they had a big gang of thugs, they say about fifty little thugglings. And by the way, for new listeners to the program, we have different levels of thugs. We have the juvenile thug we have the older thugs, which may be thugs or thugats, male and female, and then the underage thugs we call thuglings.

So anyway, they had these thuglings and they showed up. They actually used Bear spray. On the security guards, and then they went on a tearing spree. We've got the video up at ToddSterns.com. I would encourage you to check it out.

Just unbelievable. And they got away with over $100,000. Yeah, it's not a good idea.

Now, here's what's going to happen. Same thing is happening in San Francisco right now. They're going to start shutting down these stores. And it's already happened in the Bay Area where downtown looks just, it's just been decimated. Same thing in New York City.

I have never felt.

So unsafe in a city before. It was just terrible.

So, anyway, they're going to shut down Nordstrom, and then you're going to have all the race hustlers. And they're going to get out there. Oh, how dare they? We can't go to Nordstrom anymore because of racism. It's racism.

No, it's not racism, it's fever. Stop the looting. By the way, there's a big grocery store. We're going to get to this story. A big grocery store chain is about to pull out.

Of this area, and people are not going to have a place to go grocery shopping because of all of the lawlessness. Speaking of lawlessness, I want to play some audio. This is downtown Memphis, Tennessee, Beale Street. One of the most popular areas right off of Beale Street, right behind the Peabody Hotel. This is what happened, cut number three.

Come on man, I finna hit. Oh shit. Oh, sh It's over with. Oh sh oh shots fired in downtown Memphis. Shots fired.

Eight people shot. Eight people. On the streets of Memphis on Saturday, I think 13, 14 people all totaled over the weekend. By the way, they also had a Memphis police officer. And I will just describe the video for you.

A police officer who was surrounded by black men, and then was beaten. A Memphis police officer. Officer's going to be okay. You haven't heard about that on the national news, have you? You haven't heard Ben Crump or Al Sharpton or the NAACP?

Holding any kinds of press conferences or marches in the streets, have you know, this is the lawlessness that the Democrats want in America. and they're turning our American cities into war zones. My heart goes out to the good people of Memphis and Los Angeles and Chicago and San Francisco and Washington, DC and New York City. When I grow up, I want to work for a woke company. Todd Star. Uh All right.

Well, let's just jump right into it. Hello, everybody. Hope you're doing well. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Program. And uh wow, Friday after the show Oh, you know what broke loose with the revelation that a special counsel had been appointed to investigate Hunter Biden.

Of course, the reality of this, folks, is it's David Weiss.

So it's not as if they're going to drop the hammer on Hunter. As a matter of fact, Hunter's lawyers are very excited about this. Dare I say giddy, as is Hunter Biden, because instead of getting the hammer dropped, basically Weiss is going to spank him around with a wet noodle.

So to speak.

Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line to help us sort through all of this. Also, President Trump facing a number of new indictments from Georgia that could drop this week as well. Our good friend Greg Jarrett, he is author of the incredible book, The Trial of the Century, has a brand new book coming out in November called The Constitution of the United States and other patriotic documents. Greg, hope you're doing well today. Hey, Todd, always great talking to you.

I'm well, thank you.

So Greg, your reaction first to the news coming out Friday of the special counsel, what's the back story here? What's really going on?

Well, the the sudden appointment of Weiss as special counsel is a farce. This is another shameless maneuver by Merrick Garland to Cover up. family corruption among the Bidens. I mean, the AG is not allowed to appoint the Delaware U. S.

Attorney as special counsel under federal regulations. It literally says you must appoint someone outside the U. S. government. And the entire purpose is to avoid a conflict of interest.

But instead, Garland has accentuated the conflict By reinventing a sham investigation that I think guarantees. Joe Biden will be protected from criminal wrongdoing. I mean, Thi this is the same guy Who slow walked and suppressed and diverted the original investigation? He allowed the statute limitations to expire on the most serious crimes tipped off Hunter's lawyers about impromptu interviews divulged privileged information of those same lawyers. He halted the execution of planned search warrants Despite probable cause.

He forbid any questions about Joe Biden's involvement, and he refused to follow the paper trail of. Overseas cash. And famously, of course, he was the architect of the discredited. Misdemeanor plea deal that was gifted to Hunter Biden. We're supposed to believe.

that this guy is going to be fair and objective, he won't. No, you're right. He's not. And this ultimately is not about getting justice. This is about obstruction, in my estimation.

And now this story at Fox News today, and this is a Fox exclusive, that an FBI agent told congressional investigators they were tipped off back in 2020 about a planned interview of Hunter Biden, and then that resulted in the interview not happening. Are you surprised by that? No, it's pretty much what the whistleblowers had also testified to, and this simply corroborates that these were credible IRS whistleblowers. And all you had to do was watch them On television, their sincerity. They backed it up with contemporaneous notes.

and emails They were telling the truth. And now you've also got Weiss, who's given three different stories in three different letters. At first he was backing up Merrick Garland and saying, oh yeah, I had complete ultimate authority. Then he said in a second letter, well, my authority was really limited to my home district of Delaware. And I think the appointment of Weiss is a sweetheart deal for him.

It now allows him to decline to answer questions. About his own misrepresentations to Congress in those letters. and the seeming lies peddled by Merrick Garland when he testified about it all.

So this is just more corruption by Merritt Garland's Department of Justice Doing the bidding of the Biden family and running a protection racket. What I thought was interesting was Jake Tapper over at CNN suggesting that, you know, wow, this could be a big deal. And now he's suggesting that the whistleblowers, the original whistleblowers who they dismissed as liars, may be telling the truth about this. I do wonder if you're going to have those folks, Obama and his crowd, using this as leverage to get Biden to pull out of the 2024 race.

Well You know, nobody's happy with Joe Biden as the nominee. I mean, voters. Democrat voters don't want them to run again. overwhelmingly, they'd prefer somebody else. As for Jake Tapper, I mean, look, this is the same guy who ten days ago confidently told his viewers that Influence peddling may be sleazy, but it's not criminal.

Seriously? I mean, Jake should try to read and comprehend simultaneously. the statutory law, you would discover that influence peddling is called bribery under the criminal codes. using a public office for personal financial gain by selling promises of influence. It's bribery under the criminal codes.

But it's also when it involves a foreign national, it's a crime under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. I'm always amazed and amused By these devoted Biden apologists in the mainstream media. They pretend on camera to be lawyers. but they know nothing about the law, but that doesn't stop them From brazenly misrepresenting to their viewers the truth. Greg Jarrett on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today.

Brand new book coming out in November called The Constitution of the United States and other patriotic documents. Greg, moving on to Georgia. The Axios is reporting that this really could be damaging against President Trump. And they point out that Georgia has a pretty expansive racketeering law known as RECO Act, and that which is normally reserved for what, organized crime in the mafia, but the rumblings are that the DA in Fulton County, Georgia, may be using that to go after Trump.

Well, if she does, I think it would be foolish. I mean, look, racketeering requires proof of a criminal enterprise that is ongoing, that engages in repeated acts of criminality over a long period of time. Her case, as I understand it, is that then President Trump made a telephone call to the Secretary of State asking him. essentially for uh a a recount a reassessment of the votes that were cast, And as he explained, if you actually read the entire transcript of the conversation, He is saying, look, I think wrongful votes were counted and correct votes were not counted.

Now he has a legal right to request a recalculation. You know, it's written in the law. I find it hard to believe that that would rise to the level of defrauding the government or. Racketeering. And what concerns me is that this is a DA who, before she was ever sworn in, ran on the campaign promise of prosecuting Donald Trump.

That is a clear violation. of the canons of ethics that govern prosecutors. She hadn't even opened the files. She hadn't seen any of the evidence, and yet she preordained an outcome and a prosecution. That's wrongful ethically for any prosecutor.

Well, not only did she do that, but you had the Attorney General of New York State do that as well when she was running.

So my concern here in Georgia is: will the President be able to get a fair trial? If, in fact, he is convicted, he won't be able to pardon himself, and a Republican President would not be able to do so, because my understanding is that pardon is not eligible in Georgia since these are what, state charges? Is that right? Yeah. Presidential pardons only.

only apply to federal crimes that have been committed or could be prosecuted. No, it would have no force in effect if he's convicted in Fulton County. Can he get a fair trial there? No. Not in a politically charged case like this, but the same thing applies.

You know, Jack Smith Special Counsel's indictment of Trump over january sixth. The venue is Washington DC. That's even worse than Fulton County. Big time. All right, Greg, we're going to have to leave it there.

Good intel, and we appreciate you as always. And congrats on the new book coming out. Hey, thanks, Todd. It's always good talking to you. I appreciate it.

All right, Greg Jarrett, everybody, the legal and political analyst over at Fox News Channel, author of the upcoming book. The Constitution of the United States and other patriotic documents. I mean, it's. Folks, I'm telling you, there could be some hiccups here, and it would be great if the trial could get moved out of Fulton County and maybe over to Gainesville or maybe even Joe Frimella Jay's neck of the woods. Could you imagine Joe Frimella J being on the jury of the Trump trial?

Now, that would be some good riveting radio right there. All right, our telephone number is 844-747-8868. Again, a toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. Someone sent me a note from our great affiliate, WCBM, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Chinese third graders, Todd, are learning advanced calculus. American third graders are learning that men can have periods. This can't end well. We'll be right back. All right, so looks like Biden is going to Lake Tahoe.

For a week. Starting this Friday. Still ignoring all of the people, all of the suffering in Maui. Here's what catch me. I get East Palestine, Ohio.

It's predominantly white, and they voted for Trump overwhelmingly.

So I can understand why Biden would, as a Democrat, a heartless, soulless, cold-hearted Democrat, would want to ignore their suffering. But the people of Mowie voted for Biden overwhelmingly. It makes no sense. Why would he ignore his own people? It makes no sense at all.

But I'm telling you, this man ran for president so he could vacation and eat ice cream. All right, 844-747-8868 is our number. Let's go to the phones. Mike in North Carolina, listening to us on WSIC. Mike, what's going on?

Hey, how are you doing today, Todd? I'm well. Thank you for asking. We had a wonderful weekend up at the Naval Academy. Um visiting and uh the highlight for us was Sunday morning.

The church was packed. All of the it was incredible. Most a huge percentage of the senior NCOs and the admirals and captains and All these guys, great guys and ladies who are Doing a wonderful job. We're there to support the fleets because it was their first big church service. Really filled with the Holy Spirit and um.

It was really an inspiring place to be. And while we're up there, we see this great story about this girl from Stanford, young lady, Um who's one of the nation's top amateur golfer. She's also just got back from 18 days of um serious Recondo training because she's going to go in the Air Force and serve her country I it looks like instead of trying to be a pro golfer, We have kids who are going on mission trips. I'm so impressed with the young people of our country. And I think every one of us who are conservatives were so concerned about these.

Terrible, egregious things we're seeing. We need to be inspired by these kids. They are willing to give their lives to. To keep this country free. And in the next couple of years, every one of us, we got to get up off our seats.

And I know you're doing your part. and really get out there and fight for our candidates and fight for good laws. And not give up. And I get concerned when I hear people saying, oh, gosh, you know, it's just politics. I'm just tired of it.

Yeah, we can't be tired of it. We got to fight.

So I appreciate everything you do. To keep people fired up, and I'm challenging all our listeners to get out there and support our. Conservative candidates pass good laws and Do what we can for the Lord's work in the world.

Well, I think, look, I think that's a great word for the whole country to hear, Mike. And I'm curious: what were you doing up at the Academy?

Well, we've got one up there. Is that right good for you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's uh I was an Air Force guy, but my sister was Navy and he um He loves the superintendent who's just a phenomenal guy and uh and all of their staff up there, all these academies, they just get the best and brightest of our country. The chaplain staff up there is phenomenal.

They did a great job training. It's amazing because they've just gone through their basic training And this was a three-day thing for the kids to visit with families. And we were together with all these. Please we've been through really a rough summer. Just incredible how inspired they were, how fired up they were.

And you know, we thought they were pretty. Dudley, when we took him up in June, but you should have seen these kids walking off the yard. Otherwise, they all look 10 pounds, have your big muscles. They and they're just fired up. And it's just great.

It's just so inspiring to see it.

Well, Mike, I'm so happy for you and your family. And we salute you, and all the best to your kids. And good luck to your son there at the Naval Academy. How exciting. And, folks, it is a reminder.

Mike, thank you. And it is a reminder once again. Of what we're fighting for every single day on this radio station. And you know what you ought to be doing here, folks, is inviting a young person to start listening to the show and hanging out with us because we have a responsibility to raise up that next generation of patriots for what is the greatest nation on the face of the earth. In spite of all the obstacles that we are facing right now, in spite of all the adversaries.

We are in the adversity. We are. The greatest nation on the face of the earth. And this is why we fight. If it wasn't, yeah, you know, we'll sit back and drink a Baptist martini.

For you folks in Iowa, that's a Diet Coke with a wedge of lemon. All right, let's go to the beautiful state of Maine, WLOB, our affiliate there, Steve on the line. Hey, Steve, what's up? Kito had nice talking to you again. Todd, I think DeSantis is going to hang in there.

Right to the end. He's going to wait until Trump gets thrown in jail, and then he's thinking it's going to be. Yeah. It's going to be his uh It's going to be his game.

So this is this is interesting, Steve. I haven't really thought of I haven't heard of this line of thinking, but I'm intrigued here.

So you're saying that basically DeSantis is hanging in there. They're counting on Trump being thrown in jail or convicted, and then DeSantis is going to step up and try to be the savior of the party. Exactly right, and I just heard that uh Uh the judge I think in the DC case, but I just heard it on the news on you know when uh Channel went to break that the judge. just refused to excuse herself from the case.

So Trump's got all of these charges against him. It'll take nothing short of a miracle, Todd, in my opinion. for him to avoid jail. He I just can't see him win in every single case. especially the DC case.

Well, it's going to be a long slog, Steve. I am holding out hope because I don't believe the president has broken any laws. I mean, when you read what he is accused of doing, you understand they're playing politics with the accusations. And I think that's what's going on here. Steve, we got a skedaddle.

We are running late for a break. Appreciate your call. Folks, that is intriguing. And I will say this: if that's the. If that's the plan, it is a bad plan because I don't think anybody is going to be willing to jump on board the DeSantis train.

Knowing that Trump is going to jail. All right, 844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, looking forward to the big presidential debate.

The first one, sponsored by in part by our friends over at Young America's Foundation. They're going to be doing a lot of fun stuff. And, of course, we're actually going to have our very own Ben Dieter will be boots on the ground providing us with a lot of live reports and giving us his insight coming up in Milwaukee. Want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line? Great to have with us the president of Young America's Foundation, Governor Scott Walker.

Scott, hope you're doing well today. Hey, Todd, doing exceptionally well. Thanks for having me on. I hear you guys are going to be throwing one heck of a shindig up in Milwaukee. Yeah, we've got a block party going on.

When we first talked to our partners, we said this is perfect because being from Wisconsin. I know what it's like to have a good time in the Deer District, which is the area outside of the Pfizer Forum in the last few years. That's where we've been. celebrating the Milwaukee Bucks in the playoffs. In this case, we're going to have a chance to bring students and families and conservative allies from all over the country together for a great block party.

It's going to be great, and it's for high school students and college students, and it's so vitally important. the work that YAF is doing because you guys are not just throwing parties, but you guys are educating those next generation of conservative thinkers and business leaders and thought leaders as well. You're exactly right. People like Katie Pavlich came through our program years ago out at the Reagan Ranch. People like Peter Schweitzer, the great author who's constantly revealing the kind of truths that you rarely hear from authors or writers across the country.

All sorts of wonderful folks out there. And it could be someone listening right now, or maybe it's your son or your daughter, your grandson, your granddaughter. YAF.org is where people go get. More information. We provide conferences, we provide programs.

We're the largest lecture series of conservative voices. on college campuses across the country. And now in addition to working with college and high school students, we're even in the middle school. But we know more than ever we've got to do that to counter the indoctrination happening. Scott, you look at what's happening out there across the country and especially with young voters, and it's so important to get those young people engaged in the election process.

What is the role of YAF? When you have these big presidential primaries, a lot of contentious conversations out there within the Republican Party right now, what is the role of YAF? In all of this. Yeah, it's a That's a great question. You know, for us, We're not a political organization, although we talk about ideological ideas.

We come at it from a conservative standpoint, standing for individual liberties, free enterprise, strong national defense, kind of traditional American values. But we understand that if you're going to counter what happened last fall, remember all the talk about the Red Wave, well, in the battleground states, that largely fizzled out because of eighteen to twenty nine year old voters. And I keep telling people anywhere who will listen, that it's not enough to just have cool digital ads or to have a student coalition a month or two for the campaign. We've got to be talking with, not at, but with young people right now. In colleges, in high school, middle school, and younger, if you're a parent or grandparent, that's a good reminder.

Don't talk at your kids, talk with them. And the good news is we just had a poll. We put a poll out today that we were just in the field recently.

Some things are not unexpected. There are far more students who identify as liberal versus conservative, although most identify as moderate in terms of plurality. And yeah, there's some things like climate change, which has almost become like a cult type religion. But I was amazed that in this poll, a couple of key things came out. One, the number one issue with college students is the economy.

It's not all these other things that the media talks about.

So they're getting it, they're paying attention to it. We just got to find better ways to talk to them about how we're the ones that want to empower them to start their own business or pursue their own careers. The other two big things were on gender and race. Young people get it. Overwhelmingly, the poll, this is a nationwide poll, not just students we work with.

Uh that we're on our side when it comes to saying it's not fair to let someone who is biologically born as a man. To compete against people who are born biologically as women. And on the grade test that just came before the Supreme Court. They don't uh young people don't think it's fair to use racial quotas. For hiring or enrollment in college.

So there is ample opportunity for us to make inroads with younger voters. There were a couple of other interesting reports coming out of this survey that you guys have done. And I found this to be very interesting.

So, first of all, liberal students want Biden. To face primary challengers, and conservative students want Trump to participate in the primary debates. Yes, it's a big deal. I've said twenty four million people tuned in eight years ago. I know I was there on the stage right next to Donald Trump.

And my hope is that he'll be at the first debate and subsequent debates. Not only for young people, but just overall. But that's a key demographic in Wisconsin. In Arizona, in Michigan, in Ohio, in Pennsylvania, in Georgia. These are the states that are going to determine who's president in 2024.

And we got to make inroads. We don't have to win every young person over, but we need to make inroads, and if they want to hear. They want to tune in, they want to hear from what Donald Trump and all the other Republican candidates are having to say. I hope they're all there.

Well, I'm with you on this, Scott. And this has been my firm belief. I don't care who you are, if you want to run for president or office, you need to be willing to debate. And I think that's come back to hurt us in some of these state Senate races over the years and some of these congressional races.

So I say get out there and debate. If nothing else, it's great practice for down the road if things don't work out.

Well, and Donald Trump is a master at it. That's where I saw, like I said, firsthand. He's a prize fighter. Conventional wisdom in the swamp would be you don't go because you're ahead in the polls. But he's never been a creature of the swamp and he's never been conventional.

So why would he change now? I mean, he'd be much better off coming up, taking command like he did eight years ago. And if he does that in the first, maybe the second debate, I think he locks it down at that point. On the other hand, if he doesn't come, And somebody else, who knows? It could be DeSantis, it could be Tim Scott, could be Nikki Haley, could be anybody.

If they take charge, Suddenly, now that could be the moment where people said that's where things shifted.

So if I was him, I would show up in debate. All right, Scott Walker, Governor Scott Walker, president of the Young Americas Foundation. And, Scott, another interesting component of this poll has to do with age limits for We're presidents of the United States, and they say we need We need an age woman.

Well, it makes sense when you look at Joe Biden. I mean, I think any objective observer these days, I mean, you have to be an absolute partisan hack if you don't if you can't acknowledge how bad things look with Joe Biden. Part of that's his age. Part of it is you and I, Todd, know for years this guy for decades never had a moral compass. He's been all over the map.

And so now that aging is having an effect, it makes it even tougher for him to figure out he can't accommodate or adjust. But I think they get it. If there's an age limit to run for president on the front end, I get it. These young people are saying the same thing. It's part of the reason why so many are willing.

to have a primary opponent, even on the Liberal side for him. And it's part of the reason why a significant number of young people feel like things are going in the wrong direction or Joe Biden.

So there's a lot of opportunity for us to reach out to young people. But we've got to take that next step and go to them, talk with them, not at them, and find out ways to connect them with ideas that we know work.

Well, I'm all for that. And again, Scott, when you look at our American history, a lot of people don't realize our founding fathers were really on the young side, most of them probably under the age of 35 at the time the country was started.

So there's something to be said for that.

Well, right. And it to respect your elders and learn from it, but there it takes a certain vigor out there.

Now Donald Trump, in my mind, is in a whole just different category because I've never seen somebody with as much energy as he has. But you contrast that with Joe Biden. I mean this guy it it's amazing How many times we hear about a lid being called mid-morning? The President of the United States, I don't care whether what party you are, obviously I want a conservative in there, but the President of the United States needs to be somebody who takes charge all the time. I didn't agree with Barack Obama on hardly any issues out there, but I didn't question his physical and mental status to hold the office.

And sadly, I think there's a lot of people that feel that every single time we hear Joe Biden talk.

Well said. And Scott, we're going to leave it there. Folks, yaff.org, it is a great organization and one that you need to support. Get involved in. Get your kids, your grandkids involved in.

Students, if you're listening, this is a great organization, yaff.org. Scott, always good hearing from you, and looking forward to seeing you in Milwaukee.

Sounds great, Dodd. Thanks. Have a good one. Keep right for freedom. There you go.

Scott Walker, ladies and gentlemen, on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. All right, we got to take a quick break here. 844-747-8868. How do you feel about this? A majority of folks polled by Young America's Foundation say we should be putting limits on the age of our presidents.

844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. Yeah. Holy cow. Jaw-dropping story in the world of sports that is rocking not just the NFL, but Memphis, Tennessee, at this hour.

ESPN now reporting the news involving Michael Orr, who was the subject of that incredible movie, The Blind Side. I mean, how many times I've watched that movie at least once a year. It's such an inspirational story about this white couple adopting this. This black young man pulling him out of poverty and giving him a great education and college education, and he goes on to be an NFL star. Yeah.

It turns out none of it was true. This is stunning.

So, according to a 14-page petition that's been filed in Shelby County, Tennessee. The adoption never happened.

So the Michael Orr. says that the Tuhe family, Sean and Lee Ann Tuhe, they um and the allegation is that they took him into their home, his home, as a as a high school student, but they never adopted him. Instead, less than three months after Orr turned nineteen or turned eighteen. The couple tricked him into signing a document making them his conservators, and that gave them legal authority to make business deals in his name. The petition goes on to allege that the Tuies used their power to strike a deal that paid them and their two birth children millions of dollars in royalties from the movie.

That movie, by the way, earned three hundred million dollars in Get This or Got Nothing.

So this is insane. In the years since, the Tues have continued calling Michael their adopted son and have used that assertion to promote their foundation. including Leanne Toohey's work as an author and motivational speaker.

So so far the Toohey family is not commenting just yet, but this news just breaking. The lie of Michael's adoption is one upon which the co conservatives Lean Tuy and Sean Tui have enriched themselves at the expense of Michael. Michael Lord discovered this lie to his chagrin and embarrassment in twenty twenty three when he learned the conservatorship, to which he consented on the basis that doing so would make him a member of the Toohey family. Wow, this is just jaw-dropping. And it's a shocker, but court documents now filed, and that's going to get ugly.

It was a great movie, though. I mean, it really was a great movie.

So we'll keep you updated on this one. Wow. The blind side. Sandra Bullock was the star of that movie. All right, our telephone number, 844-747-8868.

That's 844-747-8868. Oh, there is controversy at the Wisconsin State Fair. And why, pray tell, is there controversy at the Wisconsin State Fair?

Well, it turns out that the winner of a cow competition. is causing the controversy. And I'm going to be very careful here, ladies and gentlemen. with what I'm about to share with you. The three-year-old Cal took center stage.

It was exhibited by a seventeen year old. From Hustisford, Wisconsin. Her name is Tionda Hilbrandt. Pardon me. to yonder Hildebrandt.

And now critics are saying that the cow's name is racist.

So Yeah. Wow, this is tough. I can't share the name of the cow with you, but it's a the cow has a. A first, middle, and last name. The first name is Mil Jean, Tattoo, Jigga.

And I'll let you finish it. That's it. The Ooh of Tattoo. That's the name of the cow.

So, anyway, the cow won the competition. And as you can imagine, people were taken aback by the fact that not only was the cow's name published, I mean, it was on the big, huge screen, but also they announced it over and over again. That The cow was Won the competition.

So, anyway, now there are cries of racism. I don't know.

What are they going to do? Kill the cow, eat it, make burgers? I don't know.

We just report the news here, folks. All right.

Another crazy story. Where is this? I told you about this grocery store in Washington, DC. It's called the Giant Grocery Store. Giant Food Store.

People are very upset because a giant food store in the southeastern part of the city is threatening to shut down. And here's the reason why. According to city leaders, Giant Foods has lost over a half million dollars. in food that has been stolen. And it is not good.

They say we know it's tough, and we know the price of food has skyrocketed, but we cannot afford to hurt ourselves by constantly taking it from the store. This is from DC City Councilman Trayon White. mister White says, Hey. Better pay attention. Because the food store, the grocery store, is about to leave.

So far this year, the food store has had at least one hundred and thirty five stops from people stealing. And they almost doubled that amount in the numbers that didn't get that were not stopped.

So people are getting, they're getting robbed blind, these poor people. It's one of only four major grocery store locations east of the Anacostia River. And if the store closes, the councilman warned that the impact would devast would be devastating and would create a food desert. A few months ago. Channel Seven, this is the reporting of A B C Seven.

Demonstrated that local leaders are standing behind the grocery store and they don't know what to do. Here's a thought. Stop stealing. And here's another thought. If you get caught stealing, there ought to be some sort of a penalty.

You know, in some Islamic countries, you know what they do to the thieves if they catch you stealing something? Guess what they do? They chop your hands off. Tom. I can't believe you would say.

I'm not suggesting it. How dare you? We know you were insinuating. How do you think I'm not insinuating? But I want you to think about something here, and let's just pretend that we're in, I don't know, you know.

Afghanistan. And you're in Afghanistan. Or D D Can or Detroit stand. And you get caught stealing something. Let's say you're going in and you want to steal some produce, and you go in there and you steal a rutabaga.

And they catch you. And they chop your your hands off. Mm-hmm. Guess what, Dylan? I know this is shocking, but you're not you're not going to be able to steal again.

Or you're going to have a very hard time stealing, right? Because you can't steal with stubs. You can't it's hard to carry stuff.

Well, I I guess you could steal a I don't know, you could if you could stick your stub in it and carry it, but then people are going to know that you're stealing something because it's stuck to your stub. That's all I'm saying here is that there should be some sort of a harsher penalty for shoplifting, and maybe, yeah, maybe it would stop. I don't know.

Turns out the poor grocery store chain has had to spend $300,000 in security, but it's still not enough. They have people filled with grocery carts going through. They're just walking out the door. You know, another option. Could be, I don't know, tasers arming the guards with tasers or guns?

Aim for the decaps. And at least that way you'll be able to catch them because they're going to have a limp for the rest of their life. Just trying to, we're offering solutions, America. That's what we do here. All right, got to take a break.

This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starnes. That's right. I love this American ride. All right.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to hour three of the big show. Happy to have you with us today. By the way, if you want to go back and listen to the interview with Scott Walker. And Greg Jarrett, you've got to download our free podcast.

You can do that at ToddSterns.com. About a million people about to listen to the podcast, and we're grateful for every single one of you. All right, we have a little bit of breaking news coming out of Georgia, and we knew this was going to happen. The report up on ToddSterns.com. But we understand according to leaked documents.

From Georgia, that the charges that President Trump now faces will include racketeering, conspiracy, and making false statements. This is a two-page docket report that has now been posted to the Fulton County Court website. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line and talk to our good friend, the Fox News columnist, Liz Peake. Liz, hope you're doing well today. I am.

Thanks very much for having me on.

Now, the county's district attorney telling Newsmax that the Reuters report, this is all based on the reporting of Reuters, was inaccurate and no charges have been filed. But we had been getting some indication early on, Liz, that Georgia might be going down this route of using the RICO Act. Yeah. Yeah, there's well, partly because the prosecutor has used that. uh statute in the past uh successfully to prosecute People and so it may be just sort of her comfort zone that she's going there.

It seems a stretch to me, but all of these. Indictments so far, Todd, have been sort of a stretch in terms of prosecutors in various states kind of inventing new ways to interpret the law.

So as to indict Donald Trump. And this sounds to me, having not looked at the exact specifics of this, As another example of that, I mean, I don't see racketeer. I don't know how that really computes here, but that's what they're talking about. Yeah, all of these indictments are rather suspect.

So I don't know. It's going to be tough. And I think the thinking here is throw as much as you can at the former president. All they need is one. They just need one guilty verdict.

That's it. Yeah, and the bad news for President Trump and his supporters is. If he faces a trial in Washington, DC, as it appears he will. You know, there were what, 5% of Washington, maybe 10 voted for him. I mean, it's a solidly.

Democratic jury pool, it's very hard for me to imagine how he gets a fair trial. In Washington. And right now, that's kind of what confronts him. In Georgia, my guess is his odds are better because Georgia has been a state that historically went for Trump, then didn't go for Trump on a couple of occasions. But uh you know I I I really I just find this all so offensive and so upsetting.

because these are charges largely being drafted by allies of Joe Biden to basically get his opponent, his likely opponent, out of the race. And I don't know about you, Todd, but I've never seen anything like this in our country. I think the corruption of the Justice Department, Merrick Garland. It's really unfathomable to me. And the latest thing on Friday, the appointment.

Uh, of this David Weiss as special counsel, I mean, it kind of said it all, you know, it kind of Is another heavy-handed move by Biden's Justice Department to prevent. Republicans from holding Joe Biden to account. and also Hunter Biden, obviously, but in and attempting to basically squash their investigations into what looks like Pretty obvious influence peddling in the White House under Obama. I mean, let's face it, what did take place in the Obama White House, and it obviously implicates Joe Biden. as well as Hunter.

It's very discouraging, I think. Liz Peak on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today. LizPeak.com is her website. And over the weekend, a lot of big doings. I mean, if you love political campaigns, you got to love the Iowa State Fair.

And it was a riot, a circus. I'm curious to hear your takeaway.

Well, look, uh You know, President Trump's doing a very effective job of one-upping Ron DeSantis. Ron DeSantis is trying to break through. He has narrowed what was an extraordinarily big lead that Donald Trump has in Iowa. His problem is there are so many Republican candidates. We've seen this before, right?

I mean, there's so many candidates in the race. it's very difficult to really make much headway against Donald Trump. I guess and I think, by the way, that Ron DeSantis having now chucked his campaign manager, although it doesn't really look to me like he's brought in a sort of world beater Class A political strategist to help him with his campaign. I think what we're seeing is a candidate who is Used to controlling everything, having a very narrow group of advisors helping him, including his wife, of course. And he's been very successful up till now.

But this is the big stage, and I'm not sure that DeSantis is maneuvering that big stage very well. I think on paper, he's a fantastic candidate. And he has to kind of pull this together pretty darn soon. I mean, now they're sort of counting on. A breakthrough in the debate, you know, they're gonna, Todd, there are gonna be a lot of people on that stage all looking for that moment.

And if Trump is there, that'll change the nature of it. If he's not, everyone's going to go after DeSantis and Trump in Accenture. But You know, I think DeSantis has his hands full, really. Yeah, you know, it's I was I was watching the candidates and, of course, Vivek Ramaswamy, you know, rapping to an M ⁇ M song, which is a little weird. You know, I thought even Larry Elder was doing a pretty good job out there.

He was making, you know, he still doesn't even he hasn't even met the metrics to be a part of the debate yet. And yet it just seems as though there was just not a lot of excitement for Ron DeSantis. And I find that shocking, especially when you have the evangelical leaders there that are seemingly throwing their weight behind this guy. It's just not it's it's not striking the right chord just yet.

Well, I think I think he made some missteps early on in terms of the issues he was focusing on. I think he's Moving in the right direction. He's talking more about economics and kitchen table issues, which are really incredibly important. The problem he has is that most of the things that he wants to talk about, like lower taxes, less regulation, those are the issues that Donald Trump not only ran on in 2016, but he governed on.

So he has a pretty good record. By the way, Ron DeSantis does too in the state of Florida. But everyone then accuses DeSantis of sort of being a copycat.

Well, yeah, okay, if something works, you do copy it. And obviously, one of the things that went very well for Donald Trump during his presidency was that he did lower taxes. He did loosen a lot of regulations, got small businesses very fired up. The economy was doing super up until COVID.

So, of course, that's the track that all the Republicans really should be taking. And I'm glad to see DeSantis talking about it. But it's very hard for him to kind of raise his hand and say, here's a new idea, when in fact it really Is not a new idea.

So I think it's a very difficult period for him. It's not over. You know, we don't know whether at the end of the day some of these charges against Donald Trump are going to stick, not so much. In court, because I think all this stuff is going to spin out through all of next year. But in the minds of voters, I wrote something last week about the fact that.

Forty million dollars of donations to the Trump campaign have gone to be paying as legal bills in the first half of this year. That's only that number is going to grow. And I wonder at some point Whether some of the people who are supportive of the former president aren't going to say, well, wait a minute, I don't really, that's not really what my money is supposed to be going to, paying off all his legal bills. I think that's. An issue for Trump.

So far, he's been able to raise the money, but oh my gosh. What a load this guy is carrying now. And I think it has to slow down in his campaign at some point.

Well, it's going to be interesting to see. We actually had a caller from Maine who said maybe DeSantis is just in this until Trump gets convicted. And if that happens, then DeSantis will be there as the savior of the party. I don't know.

I'm not too sure those Trump supporters are going to be would be so anxious to join the DeSantis train.

Well, and I'm not sure that Trump even being convicted is going to deter people from voting for him. He can still run. That's the Honestly, I don't think any of this is good for our country. I think our country looks incredibly, it's embarrassed. embarrassing on the world stage to have this Both candidates tarred by legal accusations and allegations of wrongdoing.

This is not where we want to be. Uh I believe.

So I think it's really unfortunate that Both of these guys are running. I would love to see both of them, frankly, get out of the race, sort of clear the deck for the next generation. I don't think either one can do that because their egos are too big, frankly. I still don't think that Joe Biden will make it. I don't think he's going to be the 2024 candidate.

So that raises all kinds of other issues. You know, I Todd, you and I have never seen an election like this with so many unknowns, so many. Unpredictable things probably yet to come that may well sway the race. But at this point, it's obviously Trump. And it's obviously Biden.

Uh unless something you know, unless probably unless the courts decide otherwise. And that's again, that's not going to be a happy day for our country because Trump supporters are going to be angry. I'm going to be angry. I I think this is outrageous what's going on. All right, Liz, we got to leave it there.

Great info, as always, LizPeak.com, the website. Thanks a lot, Liz. Thanks for having me. Take care. All right.

Well, it is going to be a huge, huge election.

So there's a story out of Wisconsin. Uh switching gears here. Story of Wisconsin, group of parents very upset. They're not telling us what sort of a sport the girls are involved in. But the parents noticed that their daughters were coming home, and many of them had bruises, and many of them had welts on their body.

And it turns out the parents started doing some investigating, and we're talking about a group of. Let's see here, three sets of parents. And they went to the school district and said, hey, what's going on here? It turns out there's a boy who identifies as a girl on their team. And the boy is playing sports like a man.

So he's basically smacking around and beating the girls. And the girls are coming home with bruises and welts. And the parents say, wait, what's going on here? We can't be having this.

So we know this is happening in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This is the Green Bay Area Public School District. FOX eleven said they spoke to three sets of parents, and they say, look, this is about fairness and this is about safety. Especially when it comes to biological males participating alongside biological females. One parent said they're just not used to the ball coming at them that hard.

A lot of these girls have specifically quit the team because they're concerned for their safety. I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say this sounds like girls' volleyball. Where you've got a boy who is, and we saw this happen in North Carolina. Where a little girl had to have facial reconstruction s surgery because of a of a boy who was pretending to be a girl and he smashed her in the face with a ball. It's a horrible story.

One mom, her name is Heather Longlace. Telling the local Fox TV station that the student, the transgender student, ironically has more power than any other person on the team. And that's because they're a protected class. Longlay says she's not opposed to trans students having a seat at the table. but said that seat does not need to be at the girls' table.

Parents involved in the story say their daughters will not participate in the sport this fall if the athlete is allowed to participate.

Now, the district issued a statement. They say they care about the well-being of every student. And all decisions regarding a student's ability to play are made in con accordance with Title IX law.

So, in other words, the school district says, We're doing nothing wrong here. We're doing what the law tells us we have to do. We'll change the law. Change the law.

So, my question is: this, ladies and gentlemen, what would you do if you were a parent and you had a child, you had a daughter on that team? Would you allow your daughter to play on the team? Here's what I would recommend. Every parent Of a biological girl, pull your daughter off that team. If they want to field a volleyball team, let them field the team with the boy who thinks he's a girl.

The kid ought to be in counseling, not on an athletic team. That's my estimation. But it's time to start playing hardball with these people. And if you don't want your daughters to get hurt or assaulted, then pull the transgender kid off the team or pull all the girls, the biological girls, off the team. 844-747-8868 is our phone number.

That's 844-747-8868. This is the Ton Stern Show. All right, let me tell you what's going on down in Georgia. This is Obama country, Michelle Obama country, Mo Bama. And They are going after Trump.

So, just a few moments ago, we reported to you that the details of the Charges against Donald Trump had been posted on On the county's website.

Now we're telling we can tell you that those Those documents have now been removed.

So somebody put them out there. And to tease you, and now they pulled them back. The sheriff says they're going to treat Trump like a common criminal, so he's going to get a mug shot. Is he going to get fingerprinted and there may be a purp walk? And now we're being told, and this is from MediaIte.

that the Georgia judge Will allow cameras in the courtroom if President Trump is indicted.

So they want this to be a circus, and they want to send a message. to President Trump. The Mo Bama Crowd They want to send a message. To Donald Trump. That's, I look, we were joking about whether or not.

The DC judge. Judge Shankakan, whether or not she was going to throw Trump in jail. But it turns out it could be the Georgia judge. We'll keep you updated on this. It's going to get ugly.

There's no chance he's going to get a fair trial. All right, let's go to Tom in Gainesville, Georgia. Hey, Tom, what's on your mind? Hey, Todd, thanks for taking the call.

Okay, on the female impersonators. Misnomoured as transgender. Um with this athletics and the case you just talked about where the likely volleyball female players were getting injured and all that. in b in in wrestling and in boxing, They have weight categories. You have the welterweights, the flyways, the heavyweights, all that.

And the town the pounds are done in uh wrestling.

So Let's just divide this up into weight categories. And see how many of the Done. Female impersonators, how many players are left to play on that team? When you much bigger and, you know, like a lot more than the females. Tom, let me jump in here.

We have got a horrible phone connection. We're going to have to let you go here, but I think we get your point. And by doing something by weight classification, I. You know, I'm sort of old-fashioned. Why not just do it by.

Body parts, right? Reproductive parts. That seems to be a simple solution. I mean, you could probably figure it out lickety splitting most of these folks. All right, gotta take a break here.

844-747-8868. That's our number. That's 844-747-8868. Think Trump's going to get a fair trial in Georgia? I don't know, folks.

I don't know.

Welcome away, wait, away Welcome away to Jordan getting back Jordan I wanna cross over to see my Lord Yeah. All right.

A little bit of toe-tapping southern gospel music this afternoon here on the Todd Searns Radio program. A slight detour from what we normally talk about on this program. That great group you just heard, Ernie Haas and Signature Sound, and they are celebrating 20 years. That's right, two decades of music and ministry, multi-Grammy nominated gospel leaders. And they did a live recording in Amsterdam, which is going to be a lot of fun to talk about on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.

Great to have Ernie Haas with us. Hey, Ernie, how are you today? Hey, Todd, doing great. Thanks for taking my call. And well, sure.

Glad to do it.

Well, congratulations here on the new project. Twenty years. How do you guys last twenty years in gospel music? That's a great question. It's like you hang around and hang around and then finally what's old becomes new.

Uh Well, you know what? We have a very bad phone connection here, guys. Guys, please, thank you. We have a bad phone connection. We'll try to get that reestablished.

I don't know what the problem is, but we'll try to get back with Ernie Haas and Signature Sound. I'm curious to know what's like doing Southern gospel music over in Amsterdam. I never would have thought that Amsterdam would be a hotbed of Southern gospel music, but who knows?

So we'll try our best to get back with Ernie Haas here. I'm not sure what that was. In the meantime, a couple of stories here stateside, and want to play some audio from Asa Hutchinson, who, believe it or not, is still in the race. I don't know why this guy's still in the race. Cut number seven, please.

The fact is, I'm not a self-funded candidate, and the RNC rules is burdensome on the candidates to, instead of focusing on other ways of raising money and focusing on other styles of campaigning, I've got to spend all of my time at the Iowa State Fair trying to get on the debate stage with $1 contributions. That's not helpful, and it's not good for our democratic process. When you talk about the issues, though, I just want to make this point: that I'm one of the in the minority. I'd just assume Donald Trump not participate in the debate simply because we want to talk about the issues, and I think there's a lot of contrast between the Republican candidates as it stands. It'd be nice to be able to have that serious policy discussion.

But if he participates, he will be the focus, and I'll be out there speaking the truth about he's not the right leader for our country. All right, that was Asa Hutchinson, and he says: Shame on all of you people out there that are giving these $20, $30, $40, $50 donations. Who do you people think you are? And Asa Hutchinson believes that you folks Do not have a place in politics in American history right now. And this is an opinion, by the way, that is shared by Jonah Goldberg, who used to be at Fox News.

Now he shows up on CNN, a so-called conservative, who believes that all of these small dollar donations are hurting politics right now. And I'm curious to hear from you on this. Do you believe that the small dollar Small dollar donors are hurting the presidential process. 844-747-8868 is our number. That's 844-747-8868.

Now, I believe we have Ernie Hosbeck. And Ernie, glad that we got that worked out. But I'm curious, I want to jump into this event you guys did. You did a live recording in Amsterdam. I didn't realize that was a hotbed of Southern Gospel Music.

Ha ha ha.

Well, you know what? That's the big surprise. We got a lot of fans over there, actually, the largest crowd we've ever sunk to. I mean we've been we've sung at NASCAR events, Atlanta Motor Speedway, we've sung some NBA events, but uh There was a thing over there called Spirit Fest, 175,000 people. And just they got on the hillside and they just we had three songs.

And they came alive and they're like, we got to get you back.

So that was 2007 when that happened.

So we've been going back every year since then. And so to celebrate our 20th anniversary, I told my producer, I said, I want to sing to the most electric crowd I've ever sung to in my life. And so that's how it happened. You know, it's interesting. Over in Europe, Elvis has a massive following still to this day.

And when Elvis Week is held in Memphis, which is where we broadcast this show from, we have so many thousands of people from the European nations coming over and being a part.

So I think there must be some sort of connection there because, of course, Elvis was a big gospel singer as well. Absolutely. Actually, the two Grammys, he only won two Grammys, and those were for his gospel records. His gospel records, yeah. Yeah, and I'm still a huge Elvis fan.

I even got an Elvis jumpsuit for the Aloha from Hawaii, so I can't zip it up anymore, but I got one.

Well, you know, if you can wear the bedazzled jumpsuits, have at it there. That's what I say. Ernie, this was. Go ahead. Yes, go ahead.

I'm sorry. Yeah, Ernie, I was just going to say the new album that you guys have here, it's sort of a mix of new and old. It is. We wanted to go back and grab the most def career defining songs of our group. And so a lot of the songs we had a chance to help write And they've been the ones that have stuck around the longest that people seem to like.

But then there are some like Getaway Jordan. I think I heard you play a little bit of that. That was made popular back in the early fifties by The Statesmen, which was a group that Actually, back to that Elvis connection. Elvis heard as a kid and fell in love with that kind of music.

So that's the kind of music that I love. And. And the crowd just goes crazy. Every time we sing it. I'm curious for the Southern Gospel music, I guess, genre.

I know that you guys do the concerts all over America, and I'm always impressed with, I mean, thousands of people come out, and yet it's really not that well known, I think, outside of the Christian world. I wonder why that is. I I think everything is, you know, everybody has their subcultures and their tribes and you know, the you know genre of music. It's the same with my friends that sing Cabaret or Broadway. You know, they're just It's just a genre of music that is not as well known.

What I've been able to do with Signature Sound, the whole experience for that. was to take it into an international way. And so to have been able to go in these twenty years to Amsterdam, S South Africa, um Budapest, Latvia. all you know, we just got back from Germany, you know, so been been able to go over there. And honestly, the crowds over there are the opposite here.

Here they're more older, more seasoned, but over there they're like thirty years and uh and under. I I'm I'm the old man and the building men.

So I think I think like I was trying to say, I think what's old becomes new again. I really do. I think Even Tony Bennett, who just passed away, said, don't chase a career, chase great songs. and you'll always have a career. And so that's what we've always tried to do.

All right.

Well, Ernie, congratulations. And again, a big celebration, twentieth anniversary, and the new recording folks live in Amsterdam. Ernie, where can people go if they want to get more information about the great group you guys have?

Well, I appreciate that. You can go to my website, Ernie Hoffs.com, and we're just all over every streaming platform.

So you just whatever however you listen to music, you'll find live in Amsterdam. And then if you go to earniehoffs.com, you can send me an email, sign up for my email newsletter. We always let people know when we're going to be in the area by email. And we love staying in touch with people. That's what it's all about.

All right.

Ernie Haas, ladies and gentlemen. And we have a link on our live show blog today celebrating their 20th anniversary in this great new project that was actually recorded in Amsterdam, live in Amsterdam, a 20th anniversary celebration. Ernie, thank you very much. Man, I appreciate the time, Todd. God bless.

The interview we did with Cheryl Chumley from The Washington Times and Jamie Mitchell. From Gays Against Groomers. This was a part of our event Friday on Newsmax, cut number 11. Let's get dressed. Today we're looking at the most iconic friend group, Disney's Mickey and Friends.

And the character most like me is Minnie Mouse. And I have the most perfect dress to start the look. It even has little Mickeys on it, and I love how bold of a red it is. It's just like Minnie. I'm thinking of layering a fun collar, like this one, just to give it a little more flair.

And that is Gender Fluid social media influencer Sean Altman slipping into a mini mouse dress. Just one problem: this mini is a Mickey. Yes, he is a biological man who sometimes identifies as a dude, sometimes identifies as a gal, depending on his mood. And now he's officially a partner with Disney. That's right, Disney joining forces with the TikTok star to market girls' clothing online.

It's just their latest move in showing solidarity with the LGBTQ community.

Now, the promotional video was posted on his own account and then reposted by Disney Style. That's a division of Disney that sells clothing and accessories and offers style inspiration for fans. All right, is Disney getting it here? Let's bring in our panel: online opinion editor at the Washington Times, Cheryl Chumley, and founder of Gays Against Groomers, Jamie Michelle. Welcome.

Welcome to you both. Cheryl, so Disney's been on this woke kick for over a year now. Are they not getting it? The movies are tanking. Nobody's watching the cable channel anymore.

What's going on here? What's going on is they are a woke corporation, and it's a little bit surprising to me that so closely on the heels of what happened with Bud Light and Dylan Mulvaney, that here comes Disney essentially doing the same thing.

So I expect a backlash. I expect a lot of people to call for boycotts against Disney, more boycotts and so forth. But it just seems to me some of these woke corporations care more about an agenda, a far-left agenda, than they do their profits. Yeah, and it's just not a good look for the guy. Jamie, I do want to talk about the grooming aspect of this.

Your organization is doing a really terrific job of bringing these kinds of stories to the forefront. Is this a case of grooming the kids? Yeah, I would say so. And, you know, it's really important to clarify that grooming isn't always sexual. You know, it can be ideological.

It can be just planting ideas in a child's head that they are not ready for yet. And, you know, this is what that does exactly. I mean, you know, little girls watching Disney style or watching Disney anything and seeing a man in a dress that's very confusing to them when they haven't been introduced to something like that before and they shouldn't be introduced to something like that so young. You know, it brings up questions that they're going to go to their parents about and the parents should be able to decide when it's time for those conversations. And so, yeah, I would say that this is 100% grooming.

And like your other guest here said, you know, it's really shocking to see these companies still latch onto this woke virus, especially after what we just saw happen with Bud Light and what is still happening with Bud Light. Yeah, it's a fair point. And it's almost as if if it bankrupts the company, we're going to go bankrupt, but we're going to shove this agenda down your throats. That's a disturbing thing. I want to go to this next story: the cancel culture mob.

We know they came after country music star Jason Aldean.

Now they've set their sights on RB singer Neo. Neo spoke out against gender ideology earlier this week. Without his permission, his publicist posted an apology on his behalf. But Neo has now retracted that. Take a listen.

And I need y'all to hear this from the horse's mouth, not the publicist's computer.

So, check this out. First and foremost, I do not apologize for having an opinion on this matter. Do what you want to do with your kids.

However, somebody asked my opinion on this matter and this is how I feel. I will never be okay with allowing a child to make a decision that detrimental to their life. All right, Cheryl, let's start with you. Never apologize. That's the rule of thumb here when it comes to the woke mob because they don't want your apology.

No, they don't. They want to destroy you basically. And Take away your opinion from the public scale, from the public stage. Look, we need more people like him who are willing to go out on the limb to stand strong on principle and sanity. And look, the same thing happened when J.K.

Rowling, right? She was huge, huge fan base, and a minority sprung up against and attacked her because of her views on saving womenhood, which is really what we're talking about here.

So kudos to any stars out there who take this strong stand. We need more of them. And Jamie, I think the average gay person in America just wants to live their life, claim the American dream. They're not out there endorsing all of this, but I'm wondering what it is going to take for the conservative gay movement as a whole to rise up and say, uh-uh, we're not going down this path.

Well, I think that Gays Against Groomers is really helping with that. I just want to say on Neo, I mean, Gays Against Groomers on Twitter, we were tracking that. And when we saw that apology come out, we were like so upset. But then we saw what happened after that. And it really is going to take courage.

And courage is contagious.

So hopefully, this will inspire other celebrities and stars to speak out. But, you know, I think that the tide is turning. Gays Against Groomers just had our strongest month of membership growth. We grew by 26% in the past month.

So the tide is turning. The momentum is shifting. And I think that, you know, this war is going to be won by us. All right.

Well said and great word, courage. Cheryl and Jamie, thank you both very much. Thank you.

All right.

So there you go. A little taste of what we did Friday night. Going to do it again this coming Friday night.

So I'll be flying back to New York on Thursday evening after the show. And looking forward to being back in the anchor chair.

So there you go. You can listen, by the way. That's 10 o'clock Eastern Time. All right.

Just a reminder: we're going to be following the developments on Trump and the Georgia case. And Dylan, do we have that audio? I just want you to remember: this is the four person of the jury that has indicted Donald Trump. Personally want to hear from the former president. I wanted to hear from the former president, but honestly I kind of wanted to subpoena the former president because I got to swear everybody in.

And so I thought it'd be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like, do you solemnly swear? And me getting to swear him in. I just I kind of just thought that would be an awesome moment. All right, it's a freak show. The whole thing is a freak show and it's a joke.

And we can only hope, after all is said and done, that these people get what is coming to them. That's all we can do. And I'm a Baptist. I don't believe in karma, but I'm kind of hoping there's karma here. After what they have put this man through, Donald John Trump, it's just unacceptable.

So, we're going to be all over this story tomorrow. Also, an update in this case involving the rumble down on the river in Montgomery, Alabama. And just want to put this in context because the media has been trying to pull a fast one on all of us. And we're going to give you an update on that story as well. In the meantime, head over to toddstearns.com.

We have great information for you there, great stories. And be sure to download our podcast. It is free of charge. You're going to love it. All three hours of the radio show, and you can listen to it at your convenience.
