That's right. I love America. Todd Star. Oh yes. I am back, ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show, your voice of truth and hope across America. Hello, everybody. Great to be back with you. And I am I am now with you for the duration.

We have one more big trip planned before the election, but we'll be doing the show live on the road. That's coming up next next week in Gainesville, Georgia, as we get ready for a. Huge book event. We'll be telling you more about that before we jump into everything. I just have to give a huge shout out to all of our great Houston listeners.

You guys just did a tremendous job. It was great seeing so many of our great listeners there in Houston. Thanks to our friends at Patriot Talk nine twenty. There was a we had a big book signing. It was a part of their Second Amendment Happy Hour.

They do that every Tuesday. I don't know. Is it every Tuesday? It ought to be every Tuesday at Collectors Firearms in Houston. And Dylan, let me just say this: you they say it's like the the world's best darn gun store, and it's I think it may be the world's largest.

I have never seen it's almost a hundred thousand square feet of all guns. Wow! And and you know how it is when you go into a gun store; they're kind of like you know a little on the scary side, right? You got the concrete floors, the white walls, and I know there's just not a lot of ambiance there. Decorated?

No, not really. When you walk into this place, it's like it used to be a Barnes and Noble. Oh, and you walk in and it's open concept, so you can walk up and I mean, there are just guns galore, giant. There's on one end, it's just huge, very open and airy and inviting. One end has a giant American flag.

On the other, the giant Texas flag. And that's where they had the the gathering. We we just had a wonderful time, and people came out. They bought the book. I think maybe people bought guns.

I was looking at one of the guns. It was a pistol, thirty five thousand dollars. Wow, was it like gold plated collectors? I mean, they have all sorts of collectors items there. That's cool, including going old school back to you know when we used to wear armor, like you know the British.

Yeah, like the pellets. Yeah, you stick the stick in the thing, and then yeah, muskets and that's what I am thinking of. Muskets. Yeah, they have everything there. Todd, I saw you in front of a tank.

Is that is was that a tank? It looked big, and I think it was parked in the handicap zone. But who's going to complain? Yeah. Yeah, tell that guy to move.

But it was a lot of fun. Gun Owners of America—they were a big part of it. NRA brought their buzz, and then we had we had Patriot Talk 920. We actually did a live broadcast here, full a full hour.

So they they put me to work. Is all there is to it. And we had so much fun. Want to say thank you to Matt Velasquez, the owner of of Patriot Talk. Our friends at Gun Owners of America.

And a lot of other great American patriots. There are also a lot of politicians there, and I just want to say something right out of the gate. There's no way Texas elects James Talafrico. There's just no way. I Harris County in Houston, you guys have been having historic voting numbers, early voting numbers, and it's the same.

We're hearing it's the same in Georgia, it's the same in Tennessee. Everywhere people are now early voting. We are looking at massive turnout of people.

Now the problem is you don't know which you know which side people are voting for. But I'm just there is no way after spending you know forty. Eight hours in the great state of Texas. There's no way. the The red blooded American patriots who are Texans are going to vote for Talafrico.

I just do not see that. But there is there is a lot of angst because of John Cornyn and Karl Rove and the Bush family, and they have all decided to conspire against Ken Paxton. And say what you want to about Ken Paxton. Anybody was a brilliant Attorney General. I think he'd make a great governor.

Is he the best candidate? Absolutely not. You know the guy wears you know it's a and you've heard President Trump talk about this. The guy wears the frumped suit, his hair is askew, and it's he's not a good he's not not a good speaker out on the stump. He's probably the the worst candidate, but he's the best man for the job.

And people ask me, they go, well, and and I was I was just talking to regular Texans, and we went down to a great taco. Place and family-owned taco joint, and they're big fans of the show. And I have no idea what I ate, but it was good, and it was authentically Mexican. And we were having conversations about politics. And to a person, and and this is a great way to frame this because people say, "Well, what about all the scandals?

What about the impeachment? What about the allegations?" Well, that's all they were. That's all they were were allegations. And let me just say this. I'm not sure Ken Paxton is the criminal mastermind that you think that at least the Democrats think he is.

I'm not sure he has the the bandwidth to put together some sort of a criminal scheme.

Now, I may be wrong. I may be wrong, but I don't think I am.

So anyway, don't believe any of the polling data out there. You go and you vote. And this is why I, you know, somebody asked me to go. Todd, you um, we listen to you every day. They they came up from Texas City, uh, to to the event, and they said we listen to you all the time.

Are you really that hopeful? I am that hopeful. I am hopeful we're going to win because if you you ultimately you control your own destiny. Here, so if you Republicans get out and vote, we're going to win, hands down. We're going to win, and we're going to win big.

Have no doubt about it. If these numbers are reflective of Republicans getting out to vote, we're going to do just fine on Election Day. Might even pick up a few extra seats. But if you guys decide to stay home, well, we're going to lose, and and I'll have some things to say about that after the election. But right now, I know there are a lot of people saying, "Oh, we're we're heading off to the gulags.

We're doom and gloom, gloom despair." Agony on me! Whoa, that's what they used to sing on "Y'all." Dylan, find that for us. The name of the song is "Gloom, Despair, and Agony on Me," and that's how a lot of people. That's how a lot of folks on our side of the aisle are right now. I mean, every single day you listen to conservative talk radio, and people are ready to go jump off a cliff.

Well, we're not there yet, ladies and gentlemen, and I don't think we're ever going to be there because ultimately we get to control our future and our destiny here. I mean, it really is that simple.

So the question is: Are you willing to put aside all of your issues that you have with the Republicans and just get out there and vote to stop the communist? That's all. I'm. I'm not asking you to affirm the Republican Party. I'm asking you to get out there and to stop the communist insurgency.

That's all I'm asking. And I do think that we ought to be positive. There is enough stuff going on right now in your life. You don't need to tune into the radio for three hours a day and hear, you know, Todd Starnes being all doom and gloomy. That's just not who we are.

But I am going to have something to say about the Republicans. And a lot of people that Starnes, he's just putting his head in the sand. He is no, that's not it at all. I understand the lay of the land probably more so than anybody, and if those of you that have been involved in local politics, you know how bad it can be. I mean, there's some, there's just some mean people in politics.

But no, I'm very clear-eyed about what's going on here, ladies and gentlemen. And the reality is, if you think gas prices are high now, you wait until the Democrats get in charge. You see what happens then. We may not even have cars to drive around with. Remember, these are the people that want to literally ban automobiles.

I mean, these are some whacked out people we're talking about.

So I'm I'm in Houston and we're doing the big event and talking to a lot of people, and there are just a lot of folks who are nervous about this, and that's okay. And that's the point of this this radio program is for you to call in. And to to work out your angst on air, that's what we're happy to do. That we're happy to provide that for you as a free service, save you a few dollars on therapy.

So again, I I just I find it hard to believe that that Talofrico is going to be able to pull off an upset victory in Texas. But again, if you're looking at all of the states, I see that as possibly the one more likely for something like that to happen. And the only reason why is because you've got the establishment Republican working against a Republican nominee. And ladies and gentlemen, hear me on this: they ought to throw every single one of them out of the Republican Party. What a shameful thing!

A shameful thing. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Got this whole story about Ilhan Omar and her brother. Man, this folks, I'm just.

This story is just insane. I have a question now, so we're gonna play some audio. This is Ilhan Omar. She was on PMS now. With was it Chris Hayes or Rachel Maddow?

One of them wears glasses, and the other, and they look like the Bobsey Twins.

So I think this is this is Chris Hayes who is asking the question of Ilhan Omar over on PMS now, whether or not she was married to her brother. Take a listen to cut nine. Who was this man that was your husband? When did they start saying that he was your brother? Why.

I started with the Somali blog that I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that you know that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect. And right-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it, and they just kind of went and like found random people who were like, "She introduced us," you know, "She introduced him to us," and said he was her brother. Which is, you know, insane. I mean, I don't, I don't know those people that they talk about. He was.

You were not related to him at all. Not that. There's not some weird kernel of truth that through some game of. Not to my knowledge. That was the big gotcha, right, in terms of what you're talking about, promising, like we're going to nail her on the marriage.

Yeah. All right, so there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. She says that, to her knowledge, she is not married to her brother.

Now, first of all, this was a great example of journalistic malpractice because at that point, the reporter should have offered up some sort of a follow-up. What do you mean, not to your knowledge? Because it seems to me this is a pretty simple thing. All you have to do is go back into the family albums and go back to when you were, I don't know, five or six years old as a child. You're like little Ilhan, and go take a look at the family Ramadan photo, right?

And if you see if you see your husband in the photograph sitting next to you, that means that you have an incestuous relationship. That's I mean it's a really simple thing here, but we don't even know who we don't even know who she is because when you look at the actual documents from the DOJ, she has an AKA, so she may not even be Ilhan Omar.

So now we don't know who the husband is. We don't know who the brother is. Who's the who's the daddy? Who's the daddy? That's what I want to know.

And more importantly, and I've got to be fairly delicate here. No, I I can't go there. But okay, are the children okay? Are they Are they all right? I'm just, you know, because I mean that's the whole reason you're not supposed to marry like your cousin, your first cousin, or your brother or sibling, because the kids might come out.

I don't know, with like toes where their hands ought to be, and you know. I'm just asking if they're okay. I don't. What a mess! What a mess!

The family tree—it doesn't branch, ladies and gentlemen—and that's a big no-no. And by the way, I just want to say, on behalf of all of us people in the South, and we know the jokes—we know the jokes—but that woman is no Southerner. I just want to I just want to point that out for all you folks in West Virginia. All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

We're going to be getting to your calls. We'll be right back. I was thinking back to the pandemic in twenty twenty when the media narrative was absolute. People suggesting early alternatives were actually silenced and deplatformed. The late Doctor Zev Zelenko was at.

The center of the controversy with ZStack and the Zelenko protocol. He faced immense criticism for sharing his approach, but President Trump later cited Dr. Zelenko during a press briefing. My wife was so unhappy she started to pack. Bless your brother. But I figured I could get us back on the right track. Don't go back.

So I give her a weekly allowance, but you fellers know how that ends. 'Cause she spent it before I had a chance to borrow it back. Whoa! Deep, dark, and dreary. All right, come on, James Paul Georgia, belt it out.

If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. All right.

Well, that's look, that's and that's how conservative talk media is, ladies and gentlemen. Everybody's on gloom, despair, and agony on me, and we're just not going to do that here on this program. We're going to walk you off the ledge, walk you back from the ledge if we need to. But, ladies and gentlemen, if we just do our job and get out there and vote. Will be just fine.

All right, let's go to the phones nine zero one two six zero five nine two six Mike in Clear Lake City, Texas, listening to us on Patriot Talk nine twenty. Hey, Mike, what's on your mind?

Well, I am sorry I missed you yesterday. I had every intention of going; had it planned until my wife asked me where we were going for our anniversary, so I had to not show up at your event yesterday, but. Anyway, had you on my mind listening to your guest host. Wished I could have been there, but my my thing about the voting is I don't understand why people are so anxious or nervous. All you can do is cast your vote, cast your ballot.

Once that's done, it's over and done with. And just vote, do your duty, and let the chips fall where they may. You know, here's and here's the challenge, Mike. Is that a lot of folks are, you know, going to buy into all the negative polling? And of course, we had the story come out.

One poll was just flat out fake. That was being used by many other polling agencies and politicos. They're buying into all this desperation coming out of the media, and we don't want to demoralize the base of the party. Which is why, you know, I'm willing to to step up and say you. Know what?

We've got this. We just have to get our people out to the polls.

Well, that's what I don't understand. I don't get the connection between what the polls say, whether who they favor, who they don't favor, and your privilege of voting. To me, one has nothing to do with the other. And I mean, you know, the Bible Jesus instructs us not to worry. You know, it's not going to add a day to your life.

And so the same people that are always talking about God's in control and and Trump was appointed by God and so on and so forth, but yet they'll turn around and be anxious over the the midterms. I I really don't get the connection. Look, um, I I believe that God expects us to do some work, right? I don't think He just hands us stuff. We've got to do our part, and our part is getting out and voting.

So, look, I do believe that no matter what happens, good or bad, God. God is still on the throne. God is still in control, and God, you know, we're we're gonna we're gonna be able to get through it together. That's that's the whole point, Mike.

So we we hate hate that you didn't show up. But I look, you got a great excuse. But Mike, we'll be back one of these days, and I look forward to meeting you in person. We've got some great, great. Listeners, not just in Texas, but all across this great country, we do.

All right, nine zero one two six zero five nine two six, our telephone number. What is voter turnout looking like in your areas? Give us a call. Give us a report. We'll be right back.

Wayfair, every style, every home.

All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Strange Radio Show. I was following this story. Did not get a lot of national attention. But this is from McKinney, Texas, where the FBI arrested a 17-year-old Muslim.

And this individual, they—they're not naming the teenager, but they're saying that he planned to assassinate Congressman Keith Self, who is a a regular guest on this program. The federal investigation conducted by the FBI said the teenager was also planning to carry out a terrorist attack in North Texas on behalf of ISIS. He was arrested October the fifth after he acquired a firearm. This is all according to the FBI.

Sources tell WFAA, that's the big TV station in Dallas, that the 17 year old had been radicalized recently and was being monitored by federal agents. The teenager in federal custody, and Congressman Self certainly breathing a sigh of relief, saying that protecting our and and here's what he he told WFAA in a statement: protecting our constitutional republic from radical Islam is getting messy. I served in the military for twenty-five years with the mindset that defending freedom was worth the sacrifice, and now all of this—wow!

So, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Here is the question: What do you do with all of these? With all of these? Islamist? Do you deport all of them?

Do you send them all back to wherever they came from? What do you do with the ones who are still left here? Do you understand? Look, there are there are a good many people who believe that all of the Muslims need to be rounded up and they need to be sent back to where they came from. I'm not sure where I'm at right now on that.

But I can tell you that we've got a big problem on our hands, and if push comes to shove, the reality is: first of all, Islam is completely incompatible with our way of life, completely incompatible. And when you see, and and it's almost laughable because you see all these states saying that they're passing bans on Sharia law. You really think they're paying attention to that? Do you really think that the Muslims are going to obey that because their life is Sharia?

So unless unless the government decides, okay, everybody's got to go, then we're going to be in grave danger as a country. And thank God the FBI captured this teenager before he could hurt a congressman, self, and wage jihad on American soil. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. So look, there's there's a big.

The Young Turks came out with a big expose. They were teasing it all day yesterday, and they said, "Hey, look! This is this is serious. This is this is going to impact the election." And they just a little while ago released the snippets from the documentary, and so. The Young Turks are alleging that the late Senator Lindsey Graham paid three male escorts for sex.

One of them was only seventeen years old at the time.

Now, the Young Turks say the reason why they're Putting out this documentary, which is besmirching a dead man, is because it created a a serious national security risk. And I actually think they've got a fairly good point here. But the reality is, and this is interesting, one of the head honchos at Turning Point USA said, "Oh yeah, we knew this all along. We all everybody knew that Lindsey Graham was gay. That's why they called him Lady Graham." So my question to you, ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna.

I want to play this audio here and let you listen to these three male escorts making their allegations. First of all, do you think it's going to have any impact on the election in South Carolina? And number two, are you really surprised that Lindsey Graham was was doing this in his private life? Cut number twenty. My name is Kelvin.

I had sex with Lindsey Graham as a minor. I'm Corey, and I had sex with Senator Lindsey Graham. I am Jesse, and I had sex with Lindsey Graham. He just said, "Okay, I think we're done here. I need you to go get dressed." He's like, "The 120 dollars your payment is on the rafter.

That basically where my coat was hung. I didn't notice it before. Yeah, when I got over there, suddenly it was there, and I got dressed." He's like, "It's over there," and he's referring to like a A stack of cash, like my payment. He doesn't hand it off to me; it's just sitting on the dresser. I'm like, "Like, you booked me for an oat?

Like, do you want to like have a drink? Do you want do you want to do anything else?" He came out of the bathroom, put the remainder of his clothes on. And then paid me with two hundred dollar bills and three twenty dollar bills and gave me two hundred sixty dollars and my rate was two hundred fifty dollars. I did not have change on me for the twenty, so I just kept the rest. After I left the hotel, you know that, like I said, the demeanor of like, you know, this is like somebody with from another class, and I was like that accent, and I'm in DC, and you know, my brain is putting pieces together, and I'm a little curious to who this is.

I didn't. Want to be recorded? I didn't want my life to be defined by me being an escort when I was 17.

So I was afraid of what where that footage would go. I felt like the video that he was trying to take would be used for personal gratification, or used for his buddies. I'm afraid that. That people in power have a collection of videos, and I was being added to this collection. Does that make you mad?

Does that make America mad? Is that what your elected officials are supposed to be doing? I don't think so. I think that we need to hold elected officials to a higher standard.

So says the male escort. Yeah. So look, a couple of things here, and I just i got an i got an email just from one of our listeners, Carl Carl Lee. Carl Lee said, and I want to try to. I think Carl Lee is is writing to us from somewhere in Alabama.

Deadgummit, Todd, I'll just eat my viener sausages and just throw them up. You got to give us warning about stuff like that. I'm sorry, Carly. I didn't mean I. You're eating your Vienna sausages, and I, I.

He's right, Dylan. I should have alerted. We should have given a you know a warning. PSA to all the Vienna sausage eaters at this time. It's Viener.

If you're if you're in Alabama, it's Viener.

Sorry, fellas. With some saltines, of course.

Sorry, I didn't mean to. I yeah. I know. I know it's the lunch hour, and I apologize. But look, a couple of things here.

First of all. The question is, the question is, who in Washington is not shacking up with the male escorts? That's the broader question because I don't know if people, I don't know if you realize this. But just about everybody in Washington D.C. is gay, and that is probably one of the worst kept secrets in all of politics.

There was a great story done a couple of was it a couple of years ago. They did a big essay about how difficult it is for these drop dead gorgeous women, especially conservative women, to find to find guys to date because they're all the guys are all dating each other. No, it's true. I you you you do, folks. Trust me on this.

So now you've got Turning Point USA. Andrew Colvet, who is running the show over there, says, "Dear Democrats, this is why we called him Lady Graham. This isn't an October surprise. We've known this for years. And blaming his sister for the fact Lindsey was a poorly closeted gay man is only going to backfire." So, I don't think that's the issue here, and I think there is a legitimate concern.

And again, it's America. If you are gay, then you are allowed to be gay in the United States of America without fear of persecution. That's the greatness of our Constitution. But the issue is if you are closeted. And you're trying to keep that a secret, and you're on, let's say, I don't know, you're on a number of Senate committees where you're dealing with national secrets.

Then yes, you would open yourself up to possible blackmail. And so I do think that is, in fact, a legitimate issue.

So anyway, it's, and and this should have been addressed a long time. I mean, if it really was an open secret. In Washington, that Lindsey Graham was gay, and I don't know. I have no knowledge of that, but I can tell you that if this was an open secret, that was a very dangerous thing to put the because again, Lindsey Graham had access to information that could have made him susceptible to blackmail, and that was the reason. And that was the reason why I think this is a big a big story.

Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Our telephone number that's nine zero. One two six zero five nine two six. Let's go to the phones. Angie Delanaiga, Georgia.

W D U N. Our great affiliate there. Hi, Angie. What's on your mind? Hey, Todd.

I'm not from Delanaiga. I'm from Talmo, Georgia. Oh, my apologies.

Well, I've got. No, it's okay. Remember me? I'm the one that always calls you and gives you a tangent. This is Angie.

I've won your books and everything. The one you always say, "Go, Angie!" God bless her. The one that told me, "God bless me." You don't do that to Southern women, but anyway, here's my question. I got two things before you yell at me.

Okay, why are we letting foreign nationals into our government to begin with? Number one. Number two, why are we always, always on the backside of everything? Why is the United? Are you talking about Lindsey Graham on that or?

No, no, okay. I called in. My apologies. Got on Lindsey Graham. You were talking about the backside, yeah?

No, no, no. I hear what you're saying. I I misunderstood. Right, I want to know why we are letting national foreigners into our own government. We don't know who they're associated with.

We don't know this as far as the Muslims and as far as all this other stuff. Everybody thinks it's kind of crazy, but we have come as Southerners in the state of Georgia as conservative Republicans. We are going against what we call planters, P L A N T E R S. People come from other parts of the United States. They don't like where they live, so they come in our area and change it to where they just left.

All right, I'm going to answer your question here. First of all, I first of all I believe that we should reserve all elected positions, and hear me on this. Every elected position in America should only be eligible for a for an American born citizen.

So, if you were born here, and this would apply to Vivek Ramaswamy over in Ohio, it doesn't matter if you came here from another country and you're not a you're not born on American soil. You don't get to run for office because at the end of the day, we've got far too many. To your point, Angie, we have way too many people that are currently. Serving in office that have pledged their allegiance to another country, like Somalia, for example, which is the big problem they've been dealing with in Minnesota.

So, yeah, I say ban all foreigners from running for office in America. I agree with you. That was my question.

So everybody's been changing the constitution. But why can't they change that part?

Well, it's a fair point. I mean, I mean, and that could be introduced. You know, you have to have a convention of the states, and you could add an amendment to the Constitution, but that's going to take some time. But right now, we've got to make sure we don't even know who's. And this is the another problem, Angie.

There is no, you know, rule when you want to run for office, you don't have to, or like say, for example, Congress. There is no rule that says, "Okay, you've got to show us your papers to make sure you are who you say you are." Seems like common sense to me, Angie. Seems like common sense to me too. But America probably, or in my opinion, it common common sense doesn't exist in the United States of America anymore. And when the guy called in Texas about doing the post.

We think that we're voting correctly. We think that we're voting for all of these people that will help change America. And then when the voter, when it's voted in, their votes really count. That that's the other thing. You got we have Southern Georgia, right?

You got you got Tennessee. I was born in Memphis. You got people moving from New York and California to Tennessee and Georgia. They don't like Tennessee or New York, but they want to change Tennessee. To make it look like New York, so to speak, does that make sense?

What I'm saying? No, it does. And all you have to do is go to Nashville, which used to be a fine, fine Southern town filled with Baptists and honky tonks, and now you've got more vegan restaurants than you have honky tonks in Nashville because of all the Californians moving in, and they have turned Califor they've turned Nashville into Nash Vegas, and and I think a lot of people here in Tennessee, for example, are really bothered. That you know, it's interesting, Angie. You mentioned that while I was in Houston, a fellow came up to me, and he was he was a little critical of me.

Angie, I'm I. I was shocked, but you know, hey, look, I accept criticism. He said that I needed to have a more Southern accent on the radio. He said my Southern accent was not as strong as it should be, and his overarching concern is that we're homogenizing the nation. In other words, if you go to Atlanta right now, you'd be hard pressed to find anybody who would say, "How y'all doing?" For example, nobody speaks Southern anymore.

All right, Angie. Thank you for that call, Dylan. I feel bad. I thought she was talking about Lindsey Graham when she's. It's a common mistake.

Yeah, I. My apologies. My, I stand corrected. Real quick, let's go to Wyatt and Buford, Georgia. Oh, by the way, Angie and Wyatt, you guys hope to see y'all at the big book signing next Tuesday at Long Street Cafe there in Gainesville.

Going to be a lot of fun.

Well, Longstreet Cafe is a great, great, great place to eat, and inside books. Wyatt, what's going on? What I what I can't understand. This is I've traveled to Tennessee a lot, and I'm going to compare apples to apples. And I'm going to use Sam's Club to do it with gasoline at Sam's Club in Chattanooga.

Right, this right this moment is three twenty-seven a gallon. And don't y'all still have a sales tax on your gas? Yeah, haven't dropped it. I don't think so. Georgia, we have dropped our sales tax on our gas, and.

And it's thirty three. Y'all's is twenty seven. Ours is thirty three cents a gallon.

Okay, Stem's Club up there is three twenty seven. You in Buford, Georgia, right now? If you go to Stem's Club, it's three forty three cents a gallon. Wow! There's there's and it's been that way for a long time.

I've I've been talking about this. There is some crazy crap going on with gas stations. We might not overlook all. We blame everything on Trump, but maybe there's some other stuff going on. There's no reason, because if we if we had Sam's Club gas and dropped to 33 cents, we would be way on.

We'd be under two dollars a gallon. And last Christmas, in the month of December, they dropped gas prices again. And I was on DUN in Gainesville. Station talking about this. Everybody expected once the gas tax was added back on.

In fact, the day before, everybody loaded the cars up with gas, expecting it to go up thirty-three cents a gallon.

Well, not only did it Go up, it came down. All right.

Well, let me jump in here. Let me because we're gonna we're up against a break, Wyatt. But I will say, Tennessee ours is twenty seven point four cents. That's our tax. You guys in Georgia, thirty three point three cents.

That's your tax. Which, by the way, will expire I think October twenty ninth. And so, yeah. I mean, look, gas stations.

Some are gonna charge more.

Some are gonna charge less. It's important to have. I mean, there.

Some apps out there that keep track of all of that stuff, but you're right. I mean, when you look at all of the other taxes you add on the federal gas tax to all of that, and you're looking at forty five, forty six cents a gallon just in taxes.

So, yep, you're right. All right, got to take a break. We'll be right back. Hi, it's Delilah. I believe every child deserves enough food to grow healthy and strong.

Right now, children are dying from hunger through World Help, a Christian humanitarian. Organization, thirty dollars will feed one starving child for an entire year. From Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-toting, Bible-clinging, deflourable American.

That's us. That's right. Our love is American. Right. Todd.

Stars! Oh yeah! I don't know why this story caught my attention, but it it did. Hello, everybody! Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Show.

Great to have you with us. Our telephone number nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Maybe it's because Josh Jones is like a you know from a physical specimen. You know he's a pretty you know he's he's a good guy.

You know he's pretty healthy, and I think he exercises and all that kind of stuff. Let's bring Josh in for a quick second. We're going to talk politics, but Josh, I mean you're a I mean you exercise, you watch what you eat. I have to imagine. I try to, yeah, most of the time.

You're not a, you're not a. What do they call them? Delin faddies? Is that what they call them? Sure, that's what Pete Hegseth calls them, right?

No faddies in the in the military. That's funny. Yeah, that's right.

So there's a there's a study out of the University of Illinois Urbana guys, and they're very concerned about about anti-fat bias and something called. Weight stigma, and I think that's kind of the feeling. And and they're basically saying all of you folks that are very healthy and skinny, and yes, and Josh, I'm not calling you skinny because you know you're physically fit, but you're you're on the thin side. But Josh, you know you travel a lot, and you know you if you get into you're one of the first people on the plane, and you start seeing everybody coming, you're sizing everybody up, and you're like I. I hope that person isn't sitting next to me.

You've done especially with the planes now. I don't know if you've been on one of the newer planes, but they—I swear—they've made the seats smaller.

So that's a whole other point. Yeah, they are. They're smaller, and so you don't want to be that guy that's sitting next to the four hundred pounder trying to squeeze into that seat, and their like body fat, like sort of oozes out and over and invades your space. I mean, you know, nobody wants that. And so anyway, they're all upset.

This university is upset, and they say. We've got to do something about the anti-fat bias and the weight stigma, Dylan. You've seen it.

Somebody scarfing down like an entire supersize bag of Doritos, and they're washing it down with a six-pack of Diet Coke. Oh yeah, you love to see that coming your way. This is going to be a fun ride.

So anyway, their whole mission in life is to change the perception of being fat, and they want to end fat phobia. Which, by the way, that's the fear of getting crushed by a morbidly obese woman who like trips on the sidewalk. You know, nobody wants that.

So, anyway, I don't. They call it a fat liberation. That's what they're calling it, fat liberation, and they're celebrating Fat Liberation Month. Which, back when I was a kid growing up, meant that your mom was going to Weight Watchers.

So that's how she was liberated from her fat. But now, I guess they want everybody to, you know, be super sized. I suppose. Yeah, it's crazy. I mean, like, I look.

There's a lot going on in the world right now, and I can't believe this is what people are focused on.

Well, you know, we try to mix it up here on the Tom Sterns Radio Show, Josh. And Josh, by the way, our chief political strategist, smartest guy in D.C., and knows knows everything about everything. And Josh, I am just curious, how are things going? We're we're sliding into what less than two weeks away now. What are things looking like?

What are your projections? Yeah, like you said, we're less than two weeks out at this point, so we're really in that final crunch time. People are sprinting for the finish line. If you listen to the polls, it's going to be a bad year for Republicans. I think a lot of these pollsters are one.

There's multiple stories that came out over the past couple weeks of two to three of these pollsters just being straight up fake. That they made up the numbers; they're not real, and they just did it because they wanted to like support a certain candidate or whatever else.

So I don't know if you can put that much stock into the polls, but what I can tell you are Democrats are fired up. Democrat voters are going to show up to vote on November or early vote leading up to November. Whereas there's a little bit of less enthusiasm on the Republican side of the aisle, and that's an issue. And what I've been telling folks, candidates and voters alike, is look, you really have to draw draw contrast with what the Democratic Party is. If you're a Republican voter, this is not your Democrat.

Are your excuse me? Not your grandpa's Democratic Party. These people, socialists, they've ran so far to the left that the stakes are too high to say.

So, even if you're not the most enthused voter right now on the Republican side of the aisle, you have to get out and Southeast Democrats and getting into office because also too I'll you know talk it all off with look you may not like who your Republican nominee is, but your time to debate that is in the primary. We're now in a general election. You have to get out and support the Republican nominee. And guess what? In a couple of years, there'll be another Republican primary.

Josh, I know that you've been a long time Republican when you were back. At Liberty University, you were in leadership in the in the Republican Party. Does it bother you that there are folks like Karl Rove and the Bushes and John Cornyn that are actively campaigning against the Republican nominee? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, especially if you're someone that's been in leadership, whether that's a you know elected office or party leadership in the Republican Party, I mean, it's an absolute disgrace.

You are a Republican. And then you agree with the party or individuals within the party a hundred percent of the time. Look, the Republican Party is a big party. There's a lot of different factions and a lot of different opinions. I would argue that makes us better than the Democrats, and it's a good thing.

Does mean we're going to have disagreements and arguments, but somebody you deal with eighty percent of the time is still your ally and they're still on your team, and you should go out and support them.

So any Republican leader, especially that's not supporting the Republican nominees, shouldn't be in the party to begin with. You know, well said, and and you're right, and this is happening all over the country, and that's why I'm. Again, I'm not concerned, but I think it is a factor. You know, are you going to be facing opposition from establishment Republicans? I know that Cornyn and others are saying, and Tom Tillis is out there now saying, "Well, in the future, we've got to make sure that we do a better job of vetting candidates," suggesting that both sides need to eliminate the extremes.

Okay, well, what exactly? What's your definition of extreme? That's what. What I want to know, it's a fair question. What candidate quality does matter?

How you get there, you know. My opinion is obviously you let the voters decide. That's the you know simplest solution. You have these primaries for a reason. That's when you duke it out with your party, and then whoever wins wins, and then you move on.

Wow! This big breaking news story out of Virginia, Josh. This is insane. State Senator Lily Louise Lucas is has been indicted by the Justice Department, accused of leading a marijuana distribution enterprise. She is one of the top leaders in the Senate, 82 years old, and was accused of using her political power and committee influence to shield the family marijuana ring operation.

What say you? I'm saying this is long overdue. I don't know how you know. I don't know how familiar people are with my background. But before I was on the political consultant side of things, I used to work in the state senate with Louise Lucas.

I mean, I wasn't part of her office. Don't get me wrong, but I worked in the state senate while she was in the state senate. I mean, and she was one of the most obnoxious. Clearly corrupt individuals in the entire General Assembly, and this investigation has been going on for years, even before the Trump administration.

So before people are like, "Oh, it's politically motivated." This was started under Biden, so this is not a political prosecution. She's a crook, and it's been a long time coming. Wow! I yeah, that's it's just an insane story. But again, this is why, folks, you've got to pay attention to who you're electing to the state house.

Josh, we have an update on a. We talked about on Monday Alyssa Slotkin, who's the senator from Michigan, facing now facing an ethics complaint over comments she made, which I mean, it was a direct threat to young people who are thinking about working for the Trump administration, suggesting that they could find themselves in jail or at least facing some sort of a criminal investigation. And it's not the first time this has happened. I mean, Hillary Clinton talked about keeping. List of people AOC did as well.

Any you know, if you supported the president, then you need to be investigated. And I'm I'm wondering, as a young conservative, you do you think these kinds of threats are going to discourage young people from jumping into politics? I don't think so. I mean, it makes me want to double down because I've always thought of my Democrat counter, you know, counterpoints, whether they're on the political side or if they work on the Hill or whatever the case may be. That look, we're on the battlefield of ideas.

We may have different opinions, but at the end of the day, we're all still Americans, and we're all, you know, hopefully working for what we think is best for the country. I've genuinely never met a Republican who's threatened investigations and prosecutions to try and. Keep staffers out of position. Clearly, there is some issues with with her specifically on the Democratic side of the aisle. But yeah, I don't think it's going to discourage people.

Most folks I've talked to in D.C. didn't really phase them. If anything, makes them want to double down.

So maybe it's actually helpful. She said that. Wow, it's it's crazy stuff.

So so tell us, you know, here in the final stretch or the home stretch, what are your candidates doing? What do you what do you advise candidates to do? In these next couple of weeks, for the candidates, my advice has been: don't listen to the media, don't listen to the polling. You got to be out in the campaign trail. I say every election cycle, whether it's true or not, you got to run like you're ten points down.

So, in this final stretch, you have two weeks left.

So if you're a candidate, don't listen to all the noise. Just you know, stay on the campaign trail, do what you need to do, and let the dust fall. You know, let the chips fall where they may on election day. And if you're a voter, you have to get out and vote. You have to get ten of your friends to get out and vote.

You have to call people. You have to text people. Put a yard sign in your yard. Let people know it's okay to vote for the Republican Party because the media would make it seem like it. You know, an absolutely crazy thing to do.

Well said, well said, Josh. Great advice. We'll be checking in with you again next week, and of course, Election Day, we'll have you live on the air as well. Going to be a lot of fun.

Yeah, it's going to be a fun one. All right, Josh Jones, everybody on our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line nine zero one two six zero five nine two six our telephone number that's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six Hillary Clinton. Actually, said back in 2023 that there needs to be a formal deprogramming of cult members. Talking about people who believe in MAGA, AOC in 2020 asking, "Is anybody archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?" And of course, Senator Alyssa Slotkin saying just a few days ago that that she is targeting the people who enabled Trump, and said she wants that deterrent message. In other words, she wants to punish people that support Donald Trump.

Unbelievable! These are the Democrats. That that are saying this. None to mention, by the way, Maxine Waters. She says you you absolutely harass them, whether they be in the supermarket, the gas station, the restaurants.

You target them. You make them their lives miserable. You had Bernie Sanders supporters saying that they need to be Trump supporters need to be sent to reeducation camps. Angie Nixon, running for the Senate down in Florida just a few weeks ago, said. That she wanted her opponent locked up and punished in jail for what she had done on Capitol Hill, talking about Republican Senator Ashley Moody.

So, do you understand why we cannot allow these people to be anywhere near leadership in in the Congress? These are very dangerous people, and all of this is coming right out of the Communist Party playbook. All right, got to take a break. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six is our telephone number again. That number nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

So give us a call. Let us know. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. May I just say that politics in Tennessee is just off the charts, insane right now.

the The general consensus is that Marsha Black. Is going to be the next governor of Tennessee. She's the Republican nominee. She served many, many years going up through the state house, serving in Congress, both in the House and now the U.S. Senate.

And yet, there are a lot of disgruntled Republicans that are choosing to vote for the independent candidate, a guy by the name of David Hatley, a convicted felon who just got his voting rights back last year. Has never run for. Office before Hatley is one of the top hot tub producers in the country, I think, and is a multi-billionaire. Dumped twelve million dollars of his own money into into his campaign, and he is really chipping away at Marsha's numbers.

So I think there was some indication Marsha would win by sixty percent of the vote. Right now, her own polling has her in the forties. And there are some polls out there, and you can't trust any of them. But again, there is one poll in particular that has Marcia, her Democrat opponent Jerry Green, who is a female—that's a female Jerry—and David Hatley within the margin of error of everybody.

So don't be stupid, ladies and gentlemen, all you folks in Tennessee. And I say that because Jerry Green is out there portraying herself as a moderate Republican. Dylan, she's hosting a drag show fundraiser at a bar that used to be called Peckers. That's not very Republican of her. That's a Democrat, though.

She's a Democrat, moderate Republican. Apparently, the. The the bar Peckers has transitioned to a gay Latino bar named Tracks Three Two Seven, and she's promoting all of this. Veronica Electronica is the drag queen, not a very attractive drag queen, by the way.

Well, at least the name rhymes. That's true. That. You got to have something going for you if you're going to be a drag queen. I guess the more money you pay, the more attractive they are.

Is that kind of the way that works? I have no idea. Probably.

Okay. Anyway, according to Jerry Green, who is the Democrat nominee for governor, hosting the drag show benefiting her campaign. Um. This is what the this is what it says here. Come see the queens do what Marcia can't.

And I'm thinking to myself, well, what is that? P standing up? I just just one. What does that mean? Yeah, I don't understand.

I don't know if I want to see that. I wonder they're going to have a drag queen dressed up like Marcia. Guarantee it. No doubt about. No doubt.

No doubt. No doubt about it. But anyway, Marcia's calling her her opponent Jerry Green a fascist and a socialist. I I don't know about that, but she does love hanging around the queens. Jerry Green does.

So all right.

So Packers. I just got it. Never mind. I thought, what an odd name for a.

Okay. All right.

Got to take a break here. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Our telephone number. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, welcome back, everybody.

This is the Todd Stern's Radio Show. Great to have you with us. I want to go right away to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Say hello to our good friend Chad Conley, the president of Faith Wins. That website address, by the way, faithwins dot org.

Chad, good to have you with us. I just got back from Houston, and the folks up there pretty—they're pretty fired up. They're dealing with record turnout, but nobody knows who's turning out to vote. And I think the same thing is happening in Tennessee. We're looking at record turnout in Tennessee and Georgia as well.

What are you hearing out there in the in the flyover country?

Well, Todd, great to be with you as usual, brother. Thanks for having me on. I started this week in Maine, the great state of Maine. I did four meetings in Maine. I did three the next day in New Hampshire.

Flued to Wisconsin, did some there. Was actually in Minnesota. You know, there's key races there now, and then the great state of Michigan. And I actually fly out tonight for a breath at home and change of clothes. Then next week, five more states.

It's everywhere. Record turnout is everywhere. In the places they can identify, looks like the Democrats are turning out, no question. But it also looks like Republican turnout is surprisingly heavy for a midterm.

So you and I have talked about on the show. We got a lot of eggs in the basket of President Trump creating a bunch of turnout with all these rallies, and maybe that's what's happening, brother. Yeah, here's a a lady that's really upset about the the radical Muslims. Cut number twelve, please. Democrats, I get it.

Everybody's mad. The prices are high. I feel it too. I voted for Donald Trump. Do I like everything he does?

No. But are you aware of the fact? And I, I think you're aware of it. That Muslims are using you to get into office. I know this is true because I've been getting messages from Muslims, ex-Muslims, all around the world, who are telling me that ever since I start posting about the Quran, that yes, this is the truth.

Muslims are trying to take over our country, and they are using the Democrats to do it. I just want to put the message out there. You know, when you go to vote, if you haven't voted already, please be mindful of this. We've got to save our country. We don't want to lose our country to Islam or socialism.

You know, you think you're mad now. If that stuff gets into power, just just wait until you see what happens then.

So, anyway, vote wisely, Chad. I'm I'm just curious. Are you seeing? Are you sensing a lot of that? That people understand what is really at stake here.

Yeah, I really am, Todd. Like I said, I'm in Michigan, and I've had some pastors in my last couple days, and some people who were in the meeting last night, the church meeting last night in Chesterfield, Michigan, which is ground zero for one of the key congressional races. That people are waking up. You know, you and I talked about on the show about three weeks ago that the Republicans were late to spend money, very late to define the left, and our saving grace may be that left has gone so crazy. That it does wake people up.

I am sensing that. I think that up here in Michigan, people are realizing this El Sayed is a hoax. He's a fraudster. He doesn't. He'll say anything to get elected, and he's gone back and forth.

But clearly, has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, at least through his extended family, if not himself and some earlier post. But the Socialist Democrats, the Democratic Socialists all over the country, are serving to wake. People up. I mean, let's face it. When James Carville says, "I'd rather Republicans keep the House than the Democrat socialists take over my own party," maybe we're getting that kind of help too, brother.

Yeah. Look, as a matter of fact, here is Mike Rogers talking at this. They were debating and calling out Abdul El Sayed on a lot of his lies. Cut number sixteen, please.

Somebody, a new investigator, about how you figure out if somebody's honest and willing willing to tell you the truth. You go through a series of questions. Did you lie on your resume? Yep, did. He lied about being a physician.

Did he lie about his relationships with an organization that should give us all pause? Yep, he did. He lied about being an Egyptian dual citizen. He lied about some of his stances on these positions as he's flipped again. This is a pattern that we need to understand.

Thank you very much for this. To trust this candidate, yeah, Chad. Again, your boots on the ground in Michigan. Are you seeing that? Do people understand what's going on here?

I think they really do. We've got a group of African American pastors who've recently gotten involved with my lead pastor here in Michigan, and we we had a meeting about two months ago, and we had this conversation. And they've been actually saying, "How do we teach our congregations who've been so bent toward voting Democrat for so long?" And of course, you, I'm using the same thing you and I've talked about for years. That is talking about the biblical issues. And clearly, this guy doesn't pass muster.

When you have the Bible as your reference point, I've been using this analogy, Todd. I've been telling people, and I'm sure I stole it from somewhere. I heard it, or God inspired. It's not Chad, but I've been saying, "Look, a lot of people think elections are like the difference between Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi. Just not that much difference.

It's a preference thing." I don't think this is about Diet Coke versus Diet Pepsi. I think it's about Diet Coke versus Drano. And you may not like Diet Coke, but Drano is going to kill you. And so much of what the Democrats are Embracing full on, it will kill us as a nation. All right, I want to go to the phone.

Speaking of pastors, we've got Pastor Andre who's listening to us from Memphis, Tennessee on KWAM. Pastor Andre, you are on the air with me and Chad Conley. You want to weigh in on early voting? What are you hearing out there? Hello, Todd.

How's the day? Thank you, Pastor. Because my my wife and I, you know, I live in Millington, but my ministry is in North Memphis.

So my wife and I, we went in early voting. I got to admit, my heart was this hard because there was very, very, very little traffic. When I do my gauging from North Memphis, unfortunately, these pastors that call themselves in the black church, with their souls to the cold, they have energized these people, man, to where, well, this dude Justin Pearson. They they hypnotize them to do whatever. They are excited about going vote for this guy, and if they don't watch it, man, and the vote doesn't turn out, I mean, this dude could sneak in there something, and that would be a tragedy.

I wish somebody tell him tell somebody that's a pig. He went too. You know, Chad and Pastor Andre is talking about many of the black churches here doing a program called Souls to the Polls, getting out the vote for the Democrat Party. What what guidance would you give Pastor Andre, who's on the other side of all of that? Yeah, Pastor Andre, really proud of you.

I was at. Actually, in Lansing, Michigan, about two months ago, and I confronted a black pastor who was doing his souls to the polls, and he was condemning a lot of conservative policies as a Christian pastor. And I confronted him. I was with our buddy Congressman Bob McHugh and two Todd. And this guy blaspheming Charlie Kirk took words out of context, and I went right at the guy.

I gave him my business card, my cell phone. I looked him in the eye, said, "Pastor, as a man of God, will you?" Give me your word that you will call me because you owe some explanation of some of the things you said. He smirked at me, and of course, he never did.

Now, what that led to? There were like eleven or twelve other black pastors in the room. It led to an open door of conversation about this. Ain't about Republican Democrat. This is good versus evil, and that was right here in the heart of Michigan, where El Sayad is traipsing through and talking about both sides of his mouth.

So, I do think. To the pastor's point, they are mobilized. The left is mobilized. They don't care a lot of them about the progressive leanings, but I think it's waking people up, especially real Christians who are reading the Bible, saying this guy is a national security threat. He's a liar, and he's tied to things that would damage and hurt our nation.

Pastor Andre, I'm curious: are are there many like minded pastors in in your circle of friends and You know what are they doing to mobilize their congregations to get out the vote? I have a quite a few pastors that I know that I like-minded as I am, as far as encouraging us to be vocal about it. With people in my congregation, that's why I need to call. What he was saying with the pastors is you, the gospel, would play to people the demonic side of voting Democrats. I just say it works.

It works, but what happens is you don't have enough people that are courageous enough to stand on the gospel. God, they scare these people. You got pastors that are afraid to say that homosexuality is sin.

Well, how your congregation going to grow if you're not going to teach them what the Bible says? See it and and they they like minded, uh, but but but they're not courageous. Not what I know, Chad. What's your encouragement to Pastor Andre here? I tell you, you're doing the right thing, Pastor.

One pastor who started that conversation a month, a month and a half ago has now opened doors with twelve white pastors who are having real conversations about how do I present this to my congregation.

So you're doing the right thing. We got to play the long game. Listen, El Sayad here in Michigan's a real threat. There's no question. Tallerico in Texas, he is absolutely blaspheming the Word of God.

That Adam Hamilton in Kansas, heretics, all.

So you're doing the right thing because listen, I have seen in meeting after meeting after meeting one courageous pastor with a backbone. It gives spines to the others around, and they realize I'm not in this alone.

So look, brother, you keep standing. You're doing the right thing.

Okay, Amen. With God bless y'all, man. I will say this as I go. I never come to them as being black pastor. I come to them as being pastor that happens to be black.

That's one of the main things we got to get out of here. Is the focus on race. Amen to that, Pastor Andre. God bless you, Pastor, and what a great, bold, courageous man! And we sure to appreciate him listening to our local affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee.

Chad, I want to give you the last word here as we get ready to go to break, and and that is something you know. I think when when President Trump sent in the National Guard and this Memphis Safe Task Force to our city, this was a city that did not vote for Donald Trump. This is a city that probably will not. Vote Republican majority for a very long time, but the president saw that the people were hurting. That that.

Kids were not able to play in the playgrounds. You know, grandmas weren't able to go to the grocery store without getting carjacked. And President Trump stepped in, and he did what the Democrats who control Memphis could not do, which is get crime under control. Forty nine percent drop in crime. And I do wonder if those kinds of results are going to help move people um out of this this box here and of always voting Democrat.

Democrat. You know, I think all that stuff helps, and I do think President Trump running around the country reminding people of stuff like that. Did you see the stat to your point about violent crime? Did you see that violent crime is down to levels below nineteen hundred, Todd? That's a direct result of closing the border and getting the illegals out of there.

So, yes, I think common sense people recognize this, and we've always known there's an under. Current and President Trump is the best at bringing out that low propensity undercurrent of voter that's not being polled. They're not getting the annoying text messages, and they're not getting the mail pieces.

So I'm hopeful that normal people are coming out. I saw it in Wisconsin yesterday. I was in Minnesota the day before. I think all that waste, fraud, and abuse that's been uncovered that's making a difference in Minnesota.

So it takes time to unpeel to peel all this stuff back, right? And I sure pray we can hold the house and the senate because what President Trump's done has moved the needle for our nation. All right, Chad Conley, we're going to have to leave it there, folks. Be sure to check out his great website, FaithWinds dot org. Chad, keep up the great work.

Be safe out there. God bless you, brother. Love you, man. See you soon. Keep praying.

All right, there you go. Chad Conley doing doing the Lord's work out there and getting people engaged. May I challenge you to do this? Go and talk to your pastor, and this is especially for my fellow Christians in the Memphis area. Go and talk to your pastor and ask him to to to talk about the election, to talk about the issues.

And again, this is not about turning your church into a Republican Party headquarters or a Democrat Party headquarters. This is about teaching Christians to vote. Their values. What does the Bible say about the big issues of the day? Vote accordingly.

That's that's all you have to do. And if we could just get some of our some of our large mega churches involved and focused on the idea of voting your values, we would change this country in a heartbeat. No doubt about it. By the way, President Trump is absolutely right. Millions of people are now watching Newsmax on cable.

They're going to our streaming channel, Newsmax Two. They're also downloading our free Newsmax app on their smartphones and TVs. Reuters Institute says we're one of the top news brands in the nation. And let President Trump know that you stand with Newsmax: real news for real people. Dylan, have you been watching the WNBA Finals, Todd? I didn't even know it was happening. I didn't either. I'm like, wow, they're playing again.

I I had no idea. Yeah, seriously, because the NBA just started, so like, it's like they, you know. Yeah, one ends and one starts.

So Ennis Freedom. Oh, by the way, I forgot to tell you this: Ennis is going to be on the show next week. Oh, nice. Yeah, I think next Tuesday. Very.

A lot of fun. Yeah. Wow.

So anyway, you know, Ennis Freedom went to the finals and they refused to let him in the arena in Atlanta. He was banned. Wow.

What what did he do?

Well, I mean, she's a guy, you know. I think he wanted to try out for you know one of the WNBA. Scared he was going to get on the court. I guess so. Yeah.

So anyway, the the gals so they're out there and they start playing the national anthem, and everybody thought this was like a mistake, but they just like run off the court. I mean, they were they were terrified. Before you could you know you know how the song goes. Oh, say can you? By the time they got to see, they were out of there.

And then it happened in game two.

So apparently they're getting triggered by Francis Scott Key, and they're not sticking around for the national anthem. Yeah, no wonder nobody watches the WNBA. Oh my God, they're just—it's—they get so triggered, you know. First it was what Sophie Cunningham or Caitlin Clark, and then Sophie Cunningham. Whatever happened to Caitlin Clark, by the way?

I don't know. Did she finally, you know, a lot of these, a lot of these female athletes are just throwing up their hands, saying, you know what, we surrender. Yeah, and it's really unfortunate because that's—I mean—the entire league is just coming after them. Like every single person that plays in the game is like. Beating up on her pretty much, just ganging up on her, and then the refs don't help her.

It's just, it's terrible. And then you've got the, then you've got the fans, and so the fans in response because the the women are very thin skinned, and they don't take criticism at all.

So as a result, you know they've been trying to fight and argue with the fans, and now then the fans would throw, what can we call them? Male pleasure toys, sure, yeah, yeah. That's exactly what it is. Onto the court, some of them are neon colored. Most of them were neon colored.

I think. I think you're right.

So they added a net. They added a net, so that wouldn't happen again. And then you've got, well, you've got, you've got the the male NBA athletes that want to try out for the team because they can't define what a woman is, so nobody knows. Yeah. Right.

So I mean, so at that point, well, anybody can go and try out. And now, over on the NBA side, you've got LeBron James. I don't know if you saw this. We've got the video up on our website, ToddStein's.com. LeBron James standing in line for the national anthem, and he was practicing his golf swing.

Oh, wow! And it wasn't just like a quick. It was like through the end. It was very clear what he was trying to do. That's a that's upsetting, yeah.

I mean, yeah, he needs to retire first of all. But why? What are you doing, man? He's he hasn't done this until all this controversy comes up.

Now he's trying to be this. He's trying to get more attention. As I guarantee, is what he's trying to do. Wants to be like Colin Kaepernick or something. He's trying to be relevant again.

Yeah, unbelievable. No thanks. Grizzlies off to a good start. Big, big game last night. Very good.

I didn't expect them to win. Most people didn't. No, it's a shocker.

So, all right, go Griz. Go Griz. All right, hang tight, guys. Guy, hour three of the program coming up. Don't go anywhere.

In the meantime, head over to ToddSturges dot com. Read our stories. Watch our videos from the WNBA. Unbelievable. Broadcasting coast to coast and border to border from Memphis, Tennessee.

That's us. That's right. I love this American ride. Todd, Star, Bowie. We got a note from from Carolyn.

Or a call, rather, in the in the break, and she asked her question. By the way, hello, everybody. I'm Todd Stearns. Hour three of the big show with you. Great to have you along for the ride.

And Carolyn said, "Todd, what is it that? How do Muslims? What what was the exact phrasing there, Dylan? Do you want to know what Muslims thought about gay people?" She asked if they acknowledge gay people. Do they?

I think they do acknowledge gay people right before they toss them over the side of the the building. Yeah, they acknowledge them. Yeah, I think that's the acknowledgement. Yes.

So I just and and Carolyn, it raises an interesting point because you have a lot of these these woke white women of the Lebanese persuasion. And they're out there, and they're marching alongside the Muslims, and the Muslims don't want to have anything to do with them. They really don't.

So I would just be very, very careful, all of you LGBT folks out there, and be careful who you associate with. And if you're invited to a rooftop party, I would politely decline that invitation. I'm just saying. By the way, I had to. Dylan, this is a terrible story.

So when I last left you guys, I had my laptop died. It expired after like six years. I think it's six years old, and the screen just went kaput. And everything was green, and then it was gray, and then it was black. And so I had to get a new.

I had to get a new laptop. And I thought, oh boy!

So I thought I would go down there and just kill two birds with one stone and get the new iPhone while I was down there because I've got what iPhone? What is it? Thirteen? Yeah, the Grandpa iPhone. Grandpa, does it still?

Does it take pictures? It does take pictures. Wait a second. What do you? It's an etch a sketch.

Yeah, that's what it is. It's a flip. It's a no. It's not a flip. Are you telling me it's a grandpa?

I have a grandpa phone. Is that what the staff says? They come out like every single year. If you don't get one like within two years of the new ones, like it's just they try to kill the phone. Is what tries to happen.

So first of all, the Apple. This is terrible. You know they call them geniuses. I'm not too sure they're. I'm not too sure about that.

So you sign in, and you have to go, and it's not like you go in and buy your laptop, and then you know go home. You know they have to transfer everything over for you, and so. That process took at least five hours.

So when I left you guys, the sun was beginning to set, and it was still transferring stuff over. And so the guy says, "the the genius says, you know, there's probably a good chance that everything you really need has been transferred over." And I'm like. How do you know that? And of course, he didn't know that.

So I didn't want to stay there for another couple of hours.

So he disconnected. The guy, the genius, disconnected it. And I get home, and of course, it did not transfer everything over. And so now I've got to figure out how do I get everything from my old laptop onto my new laptop. He just wanted you to leave.

That was it. That was you know what? That's it. It's kind of like when you eat at a restaurant and you finish your meal, and even though you leave a good tip, they still want you to leave. Yeah, yeah.

It's not the same thing as going in the store at 9 p.m. when they close at 9:05 because you went in early enough for them to fix two thirty in the afternoon. Two thirty.

So, and and the the laptop was like almost seventeen hundred dollars. Yeah. So I didn't get the iPhone. No, that's another seventeen hundred dollars. By the way, it is.

I've just unbelievable the amount of how much it cost.

So anyway, I'm just I've been trying to. I feel lost is what it is. I just feel lost right now, and I can't figure out how to get the you know.

So I've transferred everything.

So I've transferred enough over, so I was able to get my Google Chrome up, but I wasn't able to get my messages.

So now when I'm messaging people, just their number. Shows up, but not their name.

So I can't. I don't know what I've done with my contacts, and I don't know if I need to turn my laptop over to Ian and just have him to fix it. Probably it'll take probably less than five hours for Ian to fix it. Probably take like three minutes. Yeah.

Probably unbelievable. I just, and then so I'm trying to, I'm trying to get something on my iPhone, and I still haven't been able to figure out how to disconnect the. I've got all this, these layers of security, and so I made it simple.

So I just have to show my face. But here's the problem: when I don't have my glasses on, it doesn't recognize me. How is that possible? I don't know, Todd. Do my looks change that dramatically?

No, I I don't think so. I don't know. Maybe maybe your phone is that old. It's just it doesn't have the technology. It's horrified, you know.

I mean, your phone's scared. Yeah, it starts to like vibrate and they're like, "Oh my god, what is that?" Those emergency services, exactly.

Well, exactly. I hope everything gets worked out, Todd. I don't know. I don't know what's happening. Yeah, it's.

It's a little frustrating. Your laptop does look pretty sleek, though. I saw it; it's nice. It is sleek. Yeah, I wanted to get the um.

I didn't. I got the silver the last time, but this is more the slate, whatever. It's like matte black. It's cool. It's really cool.

Yeah, um, and it's a larger screen, which is nice, so I can do multiple things on it. Very cool. Anyway, you are hip. You are almost actually. You are like halfway hip now.

You just need the phone, which. Got to save up. Maybe I don't know. All that, yes. Just start.

We'll start a. We'll start a GoFundMe. Todd Stern's GoFundMe. Goodness gracious! All this technology, but everything starts breaking.

So the reason why I need my phone is because the battery. I'm like, I'm really charging this phone more than I usually do.

So the phone, the battery life is at. Oh, this is the other thing. It's at like seventy percent. And if you don't have Apple Care, then you may as well just buy a new phone because that battery apparently costs. A lot of money.

Yeah. Yep. The battery life only lasts so long. Can we just go back to the old days where you had a phone on the wall and you had a cord, and you didn't have to worry about people calling you when you're out walking or you're at the restaurant? We had something called a voicemail machine, and people could call your landline, and you were done with it.

We might. I mean, you know, Gen Z loves the vintage stuff, so they might. We're going back to flip phones already, so we might as well just go back to the landlines. I just, you know, I just wonder: would we be a better society if we went back to the landlines? Yes, already.

Yeah, where telephones had their place. You know, you never and you would never call during dinner time. If you did call in dinner time, it went straight to the voicemail because you weren't allowed to get up from the table and answer the phone. Yeah, limited access to the internet. These are good things.

There, remember, there. You don't remember this. There were. Correct me if I'm wrong, old timers. There were two phone colors.

It was sort of like you had the olive green, and then you had the pale yellow. I think those were the two phone colors you had. And I only know that because my mom wanted the olive green because that's what the refrigerator and stove were. She wanted to color coordinate. Was there only two colors back then?

What was going on? I think so. I don't. I don't. I'm trying to remember.

Somebody will correct us if we're if I'm wrong here. But I seem to believe there were only two phones, and then you know, basic colors, and then you probably had to pay for like you know, extra colors. What a time to be alive! Those are the good old days. Yeah, apparently, because again, when you were out, you didn't have to worry about all the distractions.

You didn't have to worry about any of that stuff. And your parents trusted you to just go outside and be back by dark, because that's literally what you did. No, it wasn't about trust. They kicked you out of the house. They do not come back.

Yeah, because mom had to watch. You know, your mom had to watch your shows. Of course. Yeah. Of course, I mean you had you know the Price is Right.

That was when Bob Barker was there, and he was you know having affairs with all the beauties, and the Showcase Showdown. And then you had the soap operas. You know, so Mom was like a Mom loved General Hospital. That was her go-to soap opera back in the day, but yeah, there was none of this. The only time the kids actually got to watch TV was on Saturdays.

We got to watch cartoons, and that's back when they were like good cartoons, like Scooby Doo. You had the Laugh Olympics, the Flintstones. Those were the good. Those were the. And I'm talking about Scooby Doo before they brought the little um the the little Scrappy Doo in.

That was when they jumped. Yeah, they jumped the shark. They did make Scooby-Doo woke. I forgot about that. I hated that.

The Jetsons. You had that. Oh, was it Bullwinkle and Rocky? That was a fine show. I liked Tom and Jerry.

That was like my old kids show. For me, oh, Tom, those were great. I mean, those are some of the those are some of the classic cartoons that I even I saw a Tom and Jerry ones where they put like a um a warning label, violence. Yeah, okay, that's like the least violent.

Well, there is violence, but you know, in terms of cartoons from nowadays, it doesn't get any cleaner than. I'm trying to remember.

If I'm sure, people can remember their favorite. Their favorite cartoons as kids growing up. Pink Panther—that's another good one. That was a little so. I always thought of Pink Panther as highbrow, and I never did like the theme song.

Okay, wow, okay, interesting. That's a hot take because I loved it. Yeah, so well, it's an intellectual cartoon. Like, and same thing with like. Oh, what was it?

Hong Kong Fu? Yeah, you know, and Grape Ape. Oh, Jabber Jaws. And he just had like this meow voice. I'm like, wow!

You would think a shark would have a deeper voice. Yeah, you would. Jabber Jaws. I never watched Jabber Jaw. I don't know.

I don't know. What is it? Mr. Magoo. These are some of the classics.

And oh, oh, oh! Yogi Bear. Oh yeah, yeah. I I watched some Yogi Bear. Hanna Barbera.

Those were the best cartoons. Like the Hanna Barbera series. Love that stuff. What were we talking about? Oh, yes.

So on Saturdays, all that's all we could watch were the the cartoons and wrestling, because in Memphis on Saturdays is when you had the live wrestling on Channel Five. Oh yeah, and I grew up watching the WWE, which had Jerry the King Lawler as the announcer at that time.

So I always like tied it back to Memphis, and they always made a big deal about that. Oh, you had Lance Russell and Dave Brown, who Dave Brown was our weather guy, but he was also the co-host on the wrestling desk. That's awesome! It's such a cool gig. That's that's that's a great gig, great gig.

Back in the day, any of you folks remember those days, the good old days? Got a favorite cartoon? Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. That's nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. Let's go to Houston, Tom.

Listening to us on Patriot Talk nine twenty. Tom, you remember those good old days? Yeah, buddy, and I'm sorry I missed you. I'm pulling into work right now, but okay.

So you hadn't mentioned Speed Racer. Oh, go go go, speed racer! Yeah, that's a great number five coming at you. And you had mentioned the oh the the the Wiley Coyote and the Road Roadrunner. Oh yeah, me me yeah yeah.

Now I have a serious tip for you and anyone else out there with their cell phones: the battery. I carry a Samsung, and this is the model that was right after the they had the Samsung Seven that kept catching on fire. I don't know if you remember that, but they it was related to the battery, and they have a setting to where you can make it only charge to ninety percent of the battery, and that saves your battery from going one hundred percent down to twenty and back to hundred and back to. Fifteen, and then back to you know a hundred.

So you under battery management or whatever it is in your setting, you can tell it you don't want it to fully charge, and that will not stress out the battery. Is that right? Oh, well, that's good to know. Yeah, yeah. Well, you know, some of us we we're old enough.

We got three or four things in our pocket, so you know. True enough. Yeah, I I was really hoping to get there. I told four or five of my friends to get there yesterday at the Collectors Firearms, and I hope y'all had a great time. And let's go, Republicans, vote red until you're dead, baby.

That's what I said. I love it, Tom. We missed you, and let me tell you something. That is one of the best firearm stores I've ever been in in my life.

Well, yeah, the guy, he's pretty cool guy. He's got one up in Dallas, and he just bought one in Virginia, and I think New Hampshire.

Okay, where they fired the first shot of the American Revolution. Shot heard around the world, you know. And wow, he's he's expanding and doing good for the two A community.

Well, yeah, absolutely, and it's it's really something to be proud of. Tom, got a run, my friend. Thank you for that. Let's go to Ken listening to us near Wichita, Kansas. Hi, Ken.

What's on your mind? Well, I've been listening to you as I'm driving across Kansas, and your last segment, you were talking about Christians and voting. And I'm a part of a new outfit from Family Research Council, out of Washington D.C., faith-based organization. They're starting chapters in every county called "Pray, Vote, Stand," with the idea of making sure that you you know your Bible and you know your principles before you vote, and then after that, you vote for the people that you have in office, that they will get godly direction. I love that idea, Ken.

And Tony Perkins is a regular guest on this program, and we love Tony and Family Research Council. I'm excited to hear that you're start.

So you're starting one there in Kansas, in your county in Kansas.

Well, no, I'm actually from Mesa, Arizona. I'm on the road. Oh, okay. We just started a chapter in Aricopa County, the East Valley chapter. I mean, just I just got my.

Leadership packet last week, so we're just getting started. But the idea is to have a chapter in every county of more than three thousand counties in the country, and we're we're committed to to training for our leadership and. Praying before we vote. I love that, Ken. I thank you for calling in, and I know we don't have an affiliate there in Mesa, Arizona, but you can download our free app, or you can listen to us on our social media streams at toddstearns.

dot com. Ken, thank you, folks. Got to take a break. We'll be right back. All right, Rob, writing in on our Facebook page says, "Todd, by the way, sir, we enjoy your program here in Houston." Well, thank you for that, Rob, and thank you guys for the great hospitality there in Houston, Texas.

Let's go to Dawsonville, Georgia. John, listening to us on WDUN. Hi, John. What's on your mind, Todd? How are you today?

I'm well. Thank you for asking. I got a question. Are you bringing Dylan to Gainesville?

Well, we're going to see if we can't sneak him out. But are you a big Dylan fan?

Well, I like both of you very much. I like y'all's interaction.

Well, thank you for that very much. We appreciate that, John. But and you forgot one of my favorites when you're doing the cartoons. Oh, which one? Boy, I say, boy, you are a chicken hawk, and that there's a chicken.

I see, I see, boy, boy, you're talking about Foghorn Leghorn. That's right. I see. One of the finest, you know, the Looney Tunes is what you're talking about, and they don't come any finer than Foghorn Leghorn or Yosemite Sam. Oh yeah.

And I I remember Speedy Gonzalez, Speedy Gonzalez, Pepe Le Pew. I gotta tell you, it was Pepe Le Pew. Yeah, the most unwoke cartoon series in the history of mankind. I know they were great. Oh my goodness, yeah, they don't make them like that anymore.

Now it's just a little bit too politically correct for my taste. Yeah, me too.

Well, you know, and John, what's really interesting, and I got to let you go, my friend, but I'll close with this thought: What's really interesting about those cartoons? You knew they were good because the kids would love them for one thing, but the adults would love them for the the humor and a lot of the inside jokes that maybe the kids couldn't pick up on. All right, hang tight. Got to take a quick break here, folks. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six.

If you got a favorite old school cartoon, give us Oh, remember Josie and the Pussycats? Oh, that was a good one. We'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Sterns Radio Show.

Great to have you with us. Want to go right away to our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say hello to our good friend Kyle Campbell, host of the Politically Basic Podcast, a great podcast. Kyle, hope you're doing well out on the West Coast. We're surviving out here, Todd. It's raining.

Wow, that's that's that's unusual for those parts.

So glad to hear that. It's always good to have a little bit of rainfall. Kyle, want to talk about politics? How are things going? And do you think the Republicans are going to make some inroads there in California?

We are firmly in October. That means October surprises. It also means we start to get a little squirrely, wondering what's going to happen November third.

So we're within the two week mark, and anything can happen. But I think the Republicans are actually looking stronger than they have in a little while here.

So I am encouraged. I think that logic and reason is maybe popping its head above the waterline here. But we're seeing a couple things crop up that are that are interesting.

Some. October surprises that went a little haywire out there with Vivek Ramaswamy and that ad featuring his opponent's mother, maybe not to everyone's liking. We've got a few other things cropping up here. Really closely watched race in the in the Senate. Out there in Texas, so all kinds of fun things going on, but it all boils down to everybody's got to get out and vote, no matter what, no matter who you are, if you are eligible and registered, do it.

Yeah, absolutely. And you know the interesting interesting thing about the Ramaswamy ad, and you know the left is like, how dare you? How dare you use use a family member to attack the your your opponent?

Well, I don't. Remember anybody in the media or the Democrat Party having an issue when Mary Trump hit the airwaves attacking President Trump? Oh, one hundred percent. I was just thinking of her, and and that was my reaction to that too. You know, I know Vivek Ramaswamy.

I've met him several times and had some time to talk with him. This isn't reflective of who he is or his character. He's a man of great integrity, excellent values, who cares a whole lot about that state and those constituents, his friends and neighbors.

So I think this is probably you know boiled down to maybe some bad vetting or some bad. Media department of a campaign who thought this would go well, and it's not really landing with the voters. But you're right; it's highly hypocritical for the left to point the finger and say that this was over some kind of imaginary line that they seem to camp out on the other side of that line quite frequently. I'm curious your take on what's happening in Minnesota, and it certainly does seem that Minnesota could be up for grabs. Even Amy Klobuchar is putting some distance between herself.

Tim Waltz, with just the the overwhelming amount of fraud that has already been exposed, and now Ilhan Omar, who says that to the best of her knowledge, she did not marry her her brother. How do you see all of that playing out? I think. Tim Waltz should have been booted the second all of that fraud was exposed, and everyone who worked so closely with him should have packed up and left at the same time. It's a little late to to be claiming that you didn't have any responsibility in covering that all up when whistleblower after whistleblower has come forward and said they were all in cahoots to cover up the fraud, and and people who were planning to say something were threatened not to.

So. That's problem number one in the leadership. There, problem number two, Ilhan Omar is the gift that just keeps on giving. Can you believe this woman? She seems completely unbothered by the fact that she's being investigated and potentially could have some pretty serious consequences.

But the fraud seems to be pretty rampant among the Somali population, and she seems just fine with with. Answering these questions, she doesn't also seem completely sure who she was married to or what type of marriage that was. It's just absolutely wild.

So I think something that's being brought up in this that I'd like to see more of is vetting because there are people getting themselves into political leadership and using it as a cover, using it as a shield. To defraud, to do whatever they want, and just thinking simply because I have this position, I am above the law. And she's a great example of that. I'd like to see some real hard consequences come down on her. I'm wondering, Kyle, when you look at all of the polling data out there.

Of course, we had the was the Wedgwood poll, which turned out not even to be true. It was a completely made up poll that many well known pollsters and pundits were using to basically determine how the Democrats were doing out there, and now it turns out to be a fraud. I say, and we've been telling our audience for gosh, the past two months, don't believe any polling data or any news stories that reflect negatively on the Republicans that are coming up between now and election day.

Well, color me not that shocked on this one. I can absolutely see why. Again, we're back to vetting. We're not checking. We're not doing our homework.

So here comes a new polling company. The name sounds established. Wedgewood sounds like you know this is a legitimate thing, and they're putting out this data.

Now they're claiming it's a it was a social experiment. I don't know if I believe that 100%. Todd, I think maybe they're trying to do a little last minute covering up of. Of what they did, but it's really exposing again this kind of fragile system we have of using this data and relying on it. We much too heavily rely on polls, polls that do not weight their data, that do not take large sample sizes, and and we make very large scale decisions based on who's running for for high office in the land in the political landscape.

So I think this is a good wake up call. I'm curious to see what's going to happen with Wedgwood. If they are going to get busted in any kind of way for doing this, but again, these. People who have responsibility in pushing that data, these media outlets or publications, this is time to check yourself because you got wrecked pretty good on this one. It's very embarrassing.

Well, and and to take it even a step further, when a poll does come out, okay, does the polling agency lean left? Does it lean right? Do the candidates have any? You know, do the candidates pay to have the polling data done? Those are questions that sort of.

Get overlooked by the mainstream media, and I know here in Tennessee we had three different polls that came out, and all three of them were coming from. One came from the Democrats, one came from the Republicans, and one came from the Independent. And each one had their own narrative to tell.

So you know, you've got it to your point, Kyle. You've got to do your homework on this stuff. Yeah, discernment, friends. I mean, it takes a little bit of extra work, but we've got to lay that at the feet of these legacy media outlets, these long-time publications. Check on what you are putting out there.

Trust, but verify. We've lost it completely. We've lost it with political parties putting forward candidates. Look at Swalwell. Look at Graham, Plattenner.

Look at the vetting that was done there, and we're doing the same thing with the data. It's too easy. Manipulate it, and there are people who exist in this sphere who will manipulate it.

So, people need to take that extra step, as you're saying. We've got to check our resources here and find those pollsters that you trust. Find those websites. It's pretty darn easy to go Google some of these sites that are trusted pollsters. And and I also think, Todd, and while we're on the topic, you can't really trust the betting markets any longer either.

Those are too easy to to flood and to manipulate.

So. Discernment, friends. That's my that's my talking points at the high level. There. All right, Kyle.

Election Day coming up. What's your encouragement to voters, not just in California, but really across the country? I have never seen so many voter guides and such a push to get people out to vote. Todd, we're making it as easy as possible for people to fill out those ballots and get them turned in. Please do it.

There's no excuse not to. We spend our time doing a million other things during the day. This is just once every couple of years. We ask people to please go find it in your mail pile. Let it bore its little eyes deep into your soul and make.

You feel super guilty until you fill in those bubbles and drop it off. And if you need help, reach out. There are tons of resources available for people who maybe you don't know how to fill out a certain section, but get it done. Don't let it pass.

Now's the time. That's it. All right, Kyle. We're going to let you get back to it, but we always appreciate your great analysis out there on the West Coast. And folks, be sure to check out Kyle's wonderful podcast, Politically Basic.

Kyle, any big interviews coming up you want to promote?

Well, I sure hope you're coming on my show soon. We'll be reaching out to your people. We just did finish up our wonderful series exposing human trafficking, and now we're really just waiting to see what happens November third. We will be interviewing some winners, hopefully not too many losers on the side that we're hopeful for.

So it's all politics all the time over here, and we're really excited about it. All right, Kyle Campbell, everybody, host of the Politically Basic Podcast, and we're We're going to take a quick break here. Nine zero one two six zero five nine two six. This is the Todd Stern Show. Oh my gosh, Dylan!

I'm I'm about to get myself in trouble here because I don't, you know, I live in a in a nice community. It's really not as conservative as I thought it was. It's called Germantown, Tennessee. It's a suburb of Memphis, and there. There's a lot of woke ness in the school system.

There, no doubt about it.

So anyway, I vote, and and here's you know I vote for the Republican nominee, and we have partisan school board races, and so I voted for this one candidate. Her name is Vicky Gandhi. That's who I voted for because she was the Republican nominee. I am catching more hell than you know. When I supported Donald Trump, I am getting more hell from the people of Germantown for voting for freaking Vicky Gandy.

There are a few Karens in Germantown. These no, they're like a thousand Karens in Germantown.

So her opponent is someone named Joy. I've never met this woman. I'm sure she is a lovely person. She's a member of the PTA or whatever. I I have no doubt that she is a fine, upstanding citizen.

Citizen, but her supporters are downright. Triggered, and I'm getting all of these messages now. How dare you? How dare you vote for somebody that's not joy? You have no joy in your life.

I'm I'm not kidding you. It's that level of insanity, and I'm like, people, just chill out. It's a freaking school board race. Live your life. Breathe.

It's very passionate times, Todd. You have no joy. I just, I just can't, and I'm now. I'm getting so I'm like in the commercial break. You know, I'm getting all this.

So, um, and so the woman claims to be a Republican.

Okay, so I just asked a simple question.

So why didn't she run as a Republican? Hey, that's fair enough. How dare you? How dare you ask that question? I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, back up, lady, just chill out.

But we got the we got the we have the magenta haired crowd in Germantown now.

So a part of me just wants to. To tell them all to take a flying leap, but I think I'm too nice to do that. I think you should go for it, Todd. I don't know. What's the worst thing that could happen?

I get one. I'm just. Here's the thing. I don't. I mean, I do care who you vote for.

I want you to vote for somebody who's not going to like you know put us all in gulags. But why the hell do I care who you vote for? Right. That's between you and and God.

So why are you messaging me, and why are you lecturing me about who I'm voting for? You make a lot of good points here. A bunch of woke libtards in my neighborhood. It's a slow day in Germantown, Todd. What do you want us to do?

No, no, this has been going on for weeks now. Weeks. That's why I think I'm probably exploding here. Yeah, I can tell. Yeah, you know it's hard to have freaking joy.

Yeah, when you got people out there screaming at you for not voting for Joy, Joyless Starns, who I'm sure is a very nice person, but you're making it hard for me to like you when you've got your people out there in my face. I literally am going up to vote on the first day of you know early voting. And I said they they shove all this information in front of you, and I'm like, look, I don't need this. I'm going in to vote. Just please stop.

But you've got all the candidates out there. They're doing their thing, whatever. And they said, who are you voting for? For this this elderly lady? You know, you got to be nice to the old people, and.

How are you voting for? And I said, I'm voting for the Republican.

Well, my my person's a Republican, and I'm like, okay, okay, chill, lady, just chill.

Sounds like a hoot. I mean, you don't want to get the old people riled up; they're going to kill right over. Yeah, you don't want the the wooden canes to come out. We've got joy, and I'm like, okay, I believe you. I, you just don't know; these people are insane.

Wow, and here's the thing: Vicki Candi is a dear friend of mine, and you know, I just—I've known her for years, and you know, I've never this other person—I've never seen them at the Republican gatherings. I, you know, the volunteer stuff, and I'm just trying to do your duty, not trying to catch. It's gonna be—it's gonna be a four Doctor Pepper day. I'm just telling you. Let's go to Jack in Gainesville, Georgia.

W D U N wants to weigh in on cartoons. Jack, what's on your mind? Hey, I didn't hear it mentioned, but my favorite from WB was *Ogmore Lekhorn*. Oh, I see, I see. I've got joy down deep in my heart.

I see. Oh yeah, he was pretty funny. And then you mentioned *Rocky and Bullwinkle*. They had the I'm sorry, Owen Blake. But anyway, Boris and Natasha, right?

Were the they were the Russian spies? Uh huh. And they had George of the Jungle and a couple other cartoons that I can't think of right now. But did you see any of the live action things? That were programmed for us, like Stickman, the Z Monster, the Cross Brothers, and there was Doctor Shrinker, and then was the HR Puffins.

Oh, Puffin stuff! Yeah, one of them really creeped me out, and I can't remember which one it was. But I do you remember Land of the Lost? Land of the Lost, yeah. Marshall, Will, and Holly.

Oh wow, those were those were good shows back in the day, Jack. Oh yeah, the HR Puffins. I think those guys were maybe puffing some stuff. No, no doubt about, no doubt about that. Maybe I need to.

Maybe then I'll have some joy in my life. All right, Jack. Appreciate the call. Nice. Look, I think I finally just exploded.

I've had enough. Yeah, you're tying everything. I've had enough. I don't care who you. I don't care who you vote for, and don't you tell me why I.

That's you know again. Why would you do that? Who do you think you are to go out and and say something like that? Yeah, it's fair enough. I need a drink.

Let's go to Ron in Salem, Oregon. K Y K N. Hi, Ron. What's on your mind? Oh, brother.

God bless Marsha Blackburn. I hope she gets elected in your state. And I'm gonna tell you right now, I got five of them and one special one. Let's start with Kimba the White Lion. With Daniel Baboon as as his guide, as a young lion that's overseeing the kingdom, let's start with Felix the Cat and the magic bag of tricks, baby.

Oh yeah, Felix! That's old school.

Okay, then we go through and we go if Popeye to sail, man. Oh yeah, with uh, was it Blut? Was it Brutus or Bluto? Do you have both of them, Brutus, Bluto, and olive oil? Oh, miss olive oil.

Yes, pour some oil, I'll be. But the one that really going to get you, and I know Dylan, and if Dieter was there, it's their generation. I watched it twenty years ago when my godson was learning how to ride bulls. He's now in PBR. And he's doing great for the last five years, almost seven hundred thousand dollars.

But make a long story short, there was a cartoon. It had Ed Asner as the rich white guy. It had Gary Anthony Williams playing this guy. My name is Uncle Ractus. No relations.

The Boondocks. The Boondocks. Funny. It was. It to me.

It's. It was on Cartoon Channel. You know, at night. But but you had Grandpa played by Mr. Witherspoon, who played on who played Grandpa on that.

We played on Friday. I mean, and then you had as Ed Asner's son with French braids, blonde. You had Samuel Jackson playing Jim Rummy. Oh, you gotta love Samuel Jackson. Ron, look, the music is gonna cut us off here.

But thank you for those great suggestions. All right, folks. Hey, open line Friday tomorrow. Going to be a lot of fun.

All right, we will see you then. Also, tondsternage. dot com. Be sure to check out our website. Get out there.

Have a great one, everybody.
