Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite cunt totent Bible-clinging deplorable American. Yeah. That's right. I love this American. Todd Starnes.

All right.

Well, hello, everybody. Happy Monday to you. Hope you had a great weekend. Wow, a lot going on. A lot happening.

May I just tell you something, some personal info. It's day five, and Grace Speaker, I still do not have water. Many people across the Mid-South don't have power still from last Tuesday storms, but it's what day five now without any water, and we're not allowed to boil the water. The only thing the water is good for is flushing the commode. Yeah, Tom, not gonna lie.

There's been a little bit of a smell. It's a little odd around here.

Well, I've got the Febreze. I mean, that's the thing. People are rushing. There's been a mad dash to the supermarkets. People are buying the bottled water and they're buying the Febreze.

Yes.

So not toilet paper this time. No, no, it's that's the essential. That's all good, like you said.

So I've been defying the city and I've been taking a shower. Like I said, it's been a bit, there's a little bit of smoke. Yeah, I mean, if my, you know, I have been avoiding open flames, though. That's a good idea.

So apparently, back last Tuesday when the power went out, they fired up the generator over at this water, the water supply, whatever that thing is. And this is in Germantown where I live. And it leaked 100 gallons. They say 100 gallons of diesel.

Something tells me there was more. Yeah, I would go ahead and get more to the side. Why not? Because you know they're trying to do damage control and make it sound not as bad. Oh, right, exactly.

And so now they canceled tonight's city council meeting, which I was planning to go to. And maybe that's why they did it. They were expecting a lot of people to show up. But people are really getting a little frustrated here.

Now, what's interesting is this is not national news at all. And this is like Flint, Michigan, right? We're talking about a city of 40,000, 45,000 people, one of the wealthiest cities in the state, and there's been no water service. And I feel especially bad for the business owners because if you have a restaurant, your business has been shut down since last Thursday. That's horrible.

And it's just terrible. A lot of these folks had already been without power since last Tuesday, and it's just been awful. And again, it just goes to show you the infrastructure. You know, clearly, I mean, look, you're going to have leaks, you're going to have problems, but they're not giving us any real concrete information. On when all of this is going to be resolved.

It's all very suspicious. And I wonder what's going to come out after it's all been said. I don't know. Maybe a rush on deodorant. I don't know.

I see a docuseries coming, maybe. What's that smell? The Germantown story. From Germantown. I don't know.

And so now, if you were.

So here's what gets me about this. And Steve Gill, our good friend from Nashville, pointed this out. This is not national news. Had this happened in Detroit? Had it happened in Memphis proper, had it happened in any other major city with a large urban center, Chicago, this would be a national news story.

But Germantown is relatively affluent and relatively of the Caucasian persuasion. This is true. And that's why you're not getting any coverage here. Chris McClure. We're on our own.

So there you go. Oh, it's terrible. Anyway, enough about my problems. We've got a lot going on. And, folks, I am feeling hopeful.

In spite of the fact, and by the way, if you're coming to this part of the country, just don't be downwind from Germantown. All right.

It's a little ripe right now, and we can't help it. But I will say this. In spite of all of that, I am hopeful for America.

Now, a couple of things have happened, and it's I believe that people are waking up to wokeness in America. And this is a great thing. And I was hoping this would happen, and it is. And we've got we have a confluence of stories that I believe will really define where this country goes as we head into the As we head into the presidential election cycle.

Now, one of them happened over the weekend. The U.S. women's soccer team is playing in the Women's World Cup. Does anybody care about this still? I don't know.

They had the what, Megan Rapino check. She's the one that took the knee. She's not on the team.

So, anyway, they've got a new batch of gals, and they're not very excited to be American. A couple of them are, but most of them are not. And so, anyway, the national team. They stood when they played the national anthem and they disrespected the national anthem. We've got the video up at the website, ToddSterns.com.

And here's how it went. The team, they stood, but they did not sing along. They did not put their hands over their heart. A few of the players did, and good on them. One player, though, she really got on my nerves.

This gal, big old girl. She stood up there and she was smacking that chewin' gum. Like she was so disgusted that she had to stand there and listen to the national anthem play.

Now, another one had a smirk on her face. It was just like, man. Just really unpleasant looking ladies. I'm talking about their physical looks. I'm talking about their attitudes.

Anyway, the Americans were playing Vietnam. And when it came time for their anthem to be played, well, the Viet Manese girls, they got out there and they got those hands over the it was like a precision, I don't know, drill team, shoot, hand over heart. And they started singing out their V Vietmanese I don't I don't know what the anthem is. But uh it was they belted it out. And they sing it with great gusto.

No, not in three-part harmony, but they sang in unison. It didn't matter. They sang their anthem. Talking about bubble tea and those delicious sandwiches you get at the Viet Minese place. I think it was solid the song.

Yeah. I don't know. But if not, it should have been. I don't speak the language. Anyway, here's what's interesting.

The Americans got called out by everybody. People out there calling them selfish and ungrateful, and they really are. I mean, it really was a bad look.

So, look, here's the deal. I'm just encouraged and I'm hopeful because people are finally speaking out and they're attacking these. Ungrateful women. And you know, it just seems to me. That you should not be wearing the uniform of this nation if you actually hate the nation that you're playing soccer for.

I mean, that just seems to be a common sense approach.

So we're not talking about soccer players on this team. We're talking about radical activists. They hate America, and they want to use their platform not to play soccer, but to hate America. You can't tell me that there are not enough freedom loving patriots who can execute a spin move to field a team of freedom loving American soccer players. There's got to be enough.

Anyway, uh The U.S. women's soccer team, they won the game. But I'm not too sure they've won the hearts and the minds of the fans. I think it's over for them. And I will say this, I was impressed that somebody told those girls, you're not going to take a knee here, you will at least stand.

Which is the bare minimum.

So there you go. So that's one story. There's another story involving Florida AM University.

Now, this is one of the historically black colleges and universities. And there's a guy by the name of Willie Simmons, who is the head coach of Florida AM. And he's making a national news. Because of what he did.

So it turns out that there's one of the rap artists. I filmed a music video inside the field house on the university campus. And that's a big, big problem.

Now the song was filled with profane language. The rapper, his name is Rapper Real Boston Richie. His real name is Jalen Foster, and the name of the song is Sendae Blitz. And it's already on social media. I think I almost got 400,000 views on YouTube.

Anyway, the song is Filthy. I mean, there is language in there that would cause your toes to curdle. I've never seen anything like this before. And it's bad. It was so bad that the coach came out and said, folks, we got a problem here.

Now normally the coach would cover this kind of garbage up. But the Coach Simmons stood up and said What this guy did is not who we are. God bless this man. He said the video's language was unacceptable. And he said, Look, I get it.

I'm a proud proponent of free speech. I love all sorts of musical expressions. But the reality is, this football team are ambassadors of the university, and they have a responsibility to protect the university's image. I'm wow. Good for you, coach.

So anyway, um He has now suspended all football-related activities indefinitely. And right now, I'm not sure where they are in football practice. Are these one-a-days? I don't know. I mean, they're practicing football over the summer, but not at Florida AM.

They have canceled everything.

Now it also turns out, and maybe just maybe this was the real reason why the coach is taking action here, is that there may be some legal issues involved in because of branding and imaging. The video itself was shot in a locker room. You had the Florida AM logo. That was very prominent, people wearing university apparel, and this could violate a lot of branding and licensing agreements.

So the university could be out a lot of money. But here's what I love about the coach. This is what he wrote on his social media page. it is a privilege to wear the orange and green. And as a football program, Our young men have failed to live up to this standard set before us.

They will all learn from this, and we will continue to work hard every day to become the best version of ourselves. and continue to make Rattler Nation proud. You think the coach did the right thing here? I you know, I I say set them down until until the ki until the guys figure it all out. And by the way, whoever signed off on this, whoever gave the AOK, they should be on the unemployment line lickety split, as they say.

So good for you. And by the way, this is the kind of man you want coaching your sons. I know he's catching a lot of grief from people, but here's again the hopeful part. An overwhelming amount of the response has been positive. And they think the coach did the right thing here.

Again, you're talking about Sexually assaulting women. and fornicating and doing things that would cause your mother to blush. And that seems to be acceptable in today's society. I don't see. A lot of people out there condemning this rapper and his song Sendee Blitz.

I don't see anybody. No one of prominence. And yet, Jason Aldine, my word. That's just insane.

So, anyway, this is the kind of man that you want coaching your sons: a man who knows right from wrong, and a man who is not just going to go along to get along. This man is teaching these football players fundamentals of the game and fundamentals of life. And that's honestly what a football coach is. A lot of these kids that are playing sports come from single-family homes. Many of them don't even have a dad.

So these young kids are growing up. These young boys are growing up. They don't know what it means to be a man.

So they're looking to their coaches to set that example. And Coach Simmons over at Florida AM, again, don't know anything about this guy other than how he's responding and handling this crisis. And it looks to me like he's doing the right thing.

So it does. I don't know what his politics are. I don't know. Don't know anything about it. Except that what he did here is the right thing to do.

And it gives me encouragement. To know that we've still got people out there that are fighting the good fight every single day. You know, it's interesting. Ben Dieter, our morning show anchor at KWAM, Grace Baker, he said there is probably one song they're not going to be playing in that Florida AM University locker room. You tell.

Yeah, that would be the Jason Aldean song. Oh, that's a good point. Try that in a small town. That's a whole other level of offensiveness time. And a whole other level of this story, which is just exploding because tens of thousands of people, I think they said 50,000 people turned out for Aldean's concert in Cincinnati over the weekend, and people cheering.

We're going to play some of that a little bit later on. But people have had enough. They've had enough of the wokeness, they're tired of this prodown crap. And folks, let me tell you, the whole transgenderism movement, they're sick of it. They are absolutely sick of it.

And they're tired of the filth that's spewing out of these rap artists. They're tired. I think the average American is tired, and they're finally standing up and saying, Enough is enough, this is the hill we die on, but But we are taking back our country. That's the message I'm getting from this weekend.

So good for you, Coach Simmons. And people are saying, well, it's easy to say now because they're not playing games. No, but they're getting ready. And every single day counts. If you've ever played sports, you know that every single day on the practice field makes you a better athlete.

These kids aren't out there doing that right now. And maybe that's for the best. Maybe the best thing for these kids is to sit down and understand why this kind of garbage. is poisoning their brains. I mean, it's disgusting.

All right, look, we got to take a break here. Are you feeling encouraged about America? 844-747-8868. No, I get it. We got a long way to go.

But we're in the fight here, folks, and that excites me. 844-747-8868. This is the Tom Starns Show. MyPellow is celebrating its 20-year anniversary with over 80 million MyPillows sold. So All right, let's get to the phones. 844-747-8868. Let's go to Statesville, North Carolina. Troy, thank you for listening to Muslim WSIC. What's on your mind?

Todd, it's a pleasure to listen to you. It's encouraging. You're asking earlier if we were encouraged as Americans And I told Grace that, Yeah, I am encouraging it's a shame on one side of the coin that it takes the teachers and the coaches and the school systems Sometimes to you. steer the people in the right direction. But then on the other side of the coin, it's It's encouraging to see that they are doing it still in the school system.

Now, I've got a daughter. It has birthed me a granddaughter nine years ago, and I've convinced my daughter to take her. daughter out of the school systems because of all this mess that's going on.

So that was discouraging because that's one way of of what we've been paying taxes on the in the local school systems, you know. kind of defeating the purpose when you take your child out of school. But unfortunately, in a lot of cases across this country, The kids are just being brainwashed and we're scared of that. That's the reason why we've got to take them out of school. It truly Trolley, let me ask you this.

I mean, if there were more teachers like this coach in your daughter's school, do you? Do you think that would make a difference? I mean, at that point, would it because a lot of people just can't afford to send their kids to private school or they can't home school for whatever reason.

So a lot of them think, you know what, we're kind of stuck here. It is a double-edged sword, and yeah, it would encourage me to put my granddaughter back in the school system that we would have.

some teachers that would take the initiative, but Todd is just those cases, that story that you spoke of, the coach in Florida, a few far in between nowadays, it seems. Why? It is. And I think that's the challenge, Troy, knowing that. If you send your kid to a Christian school, then the chances are pretty good that you're going to get an entire faculty with teachers just like that coach with those sorts of values who are allowed to and are welcomed and encouraged to share those values with the kids.

Well, it it you know, if there's one thing that woman said that was correct. it takes a village. It does take a village. It takes the more People. On a get good influence side of things that you have involved in children's lives.

the better off chances they're going to have in their lives when they grow up as adults. All right, Troy, I appreciate that call. Thank you for listening. And folks, I'm telling you, my hope and joy is only growing. And I'm going to tell you more about this.

There was something happening in the country music world over the weekend that is going to bless your heart in a positive way. All right, 844-747-8868. Stick around. We'll be right back, America. When the government used emergency edicts during COVID to restrict the gathering and worship of churches, three pastors facing the risk of imprisonment, unlimited fines, and their own churches being ripped apart take a courageous stand and reopen the doors in the face of a world that has chosen to comply.

The Essential Church is a feature-length documentary that explores the struggle between the church and government throughout history. The story uncovers those who have sacrificed their lives throughout history for what they believe in. Rediscover why the church is essential and how we prove that this stand remains true from a scientific, legal, and most importantly, biblical perspective. This is not your typical movie. It will change your life.

You need to take your friends and family and go see this movie. It comes out in theaters Friday, July 28th. Get your tickets now. Go to essentialchurchmovie.com to get your tickets today. That's essentialchurchmovie.com.

Essentialchurchmovie.com. Yeah. So Jason Aldine was in Cincinnati, and they say, what, about 50,000 people were at this concert. And the poor guy has just been catching it from everybody. And Aldine refuses to back down.

This guy says, you know what? No, we're doing the right thing. There's nothing wrong with this song. There's nothing racist about this song. We're not encouraging anybody to go out and lynch anybody.

This is all about. A story about values. and it's big city values versus small town values. And I don't know about you, but I would like those small town values. God and country and family.

Looking out for your neighbors. That's what this song is about. It's about a different way of life than what we are seeing portrayed in our culture right now.

So, anyway, Aldan decided: you know what, we got to talk about this. This is what I love about country music concerts: man, you're going to have these just. You never know what's going to happen. And let's listen to Jason Aldean in Cincinnati over the weekend cut one.

Well I gotta tell you guys man it's been a long Wink. It's been a long week, and I've seen a lot of stuff. I've seen a lot of stuff. Suggesting I'm this, suggesting I'm that. Hey, here's the thing, here's the thing.

Here's one thing I feel. I feel like everybody's entitled to their opinion. You can think. You can think something all you want to, it doesn't mean it's true, right?

So. What I am. As a proud American, I'm proud to be from the world. I love our country. I want to see it restored to what it once was before all this.

It started happening to us. I love my country, I love my family, and I will do anything to protect that. I can tell you that right now. And you know, I think there are a lot of people who feel just like Jason Aldean and the 50,000 fans who were screaming their support. and approval.

And I suspect there are a lot of people in this audience, and you've got what we call in the Baptist church world Jesus bumps right up your arm and down your back. You got the goose bumps. Because something resonated. Jason Aldean is a regular guy, right? And man, they're just trying to crucify this man right now.

It's really sad. It's almost. It's almost like what they've been trying to do with Donald Trump. But do you agree with what Jason Aldean said? Are you a proud American?

Do you love your country? Do you want to see it restored to what it once was? Because if you do, Then we're going to need every single person, every country music star in America, every conservative in Hollywood, every talk radio host, everybody using their platforms together to get the message out and to get out the vote. That's what it's going to take. That's what the left does.

And then they go to the graveyards and they uh they they dig up the dead bodies and they and they vote.

So we've got but I think we can win with living, breathing human beings. I believe that we're going to be able to win. I saw it for myself when I went to Whitehaven, Tennessee. A majority black middle-class community, and people said, We're sick of it. We're leaving the Democrat plantation.

We want a better life for our kids. We want to be able to have better schools. We want to be able to live in safe neighborhoods. And the Democrats, after generations, have failed to deliver.

So I am seeing something birthed here, ladies and gentlemen, and it is a good thing. But we just can't sit on our laurels. We can't sit on our dare I say it, but I will, deriers. We cannot just sit idly by and wait for somebody else to pick up the mantle. You've got to do it.

We've got to do it. And I love what Jason Aldine had to say here. Cancel culture is a thing. If people don't like what you say, they try to make sure they can cancel you. They want to ruin your life, ruin everything.

And then, and I love this. He said, One thing I saw this week was a bunch of country music fans who can see through. The Ball Poop And he's right. And there are a lot of country music fans around the nation. And would it not be something if country music fans were the ones who stood up and said, you know what?

We've got to do something else here. We've got to chart a new course. But we're not going to take this anymore. We're not going to stand by and allow the left to silence her voices. We're not just going to sit down and allow them to come knock on our door and take away our guns.

We're just not going to do that. That's not who we are. That is not in our DNA. as American citizens.

So, imagine what would happen if every freedom-loving country music artist stood up. And said We're not going to take it anymore. It's not going to happen. And I guarantee you, folks, on Election Day, could you imagine those 50,000 people in Cincinnati at that concert going out and voting on Election Day? Imagine what kind of a message That would Send 844-747-8868.

That's our phone number. That's 844-747-8868. By the way, speaking of values, I've got to play this for you.

So in Memphis, we're getting ready to have a big mayor's election. And so they had a forum at a local church. Boulevard is it Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church? And they were asking some pretty hard-hitting questions of the candidates. Cut number nine.

We're going to stay here. Keep it mixed. I'm coming to you, Mr. Turner. All right.

Who is your favorite Memphis Hip hop artist. You gotta give me not I don't know Al Green This is a new city. We got new citizens. Hey, we got, for the young kids, hip-hop, you gotta give me somebody.

So, when we were in eighth-grade gangster walking at Haydenview, we did it to eight-ball in MJ.

Okay, I suppose. That's why I am. We can go at all time. All right, okay. Can't go wrong with A-Ball Limit JG, Lil' T, Lil Houston.

Okay. Go ahead, Mr. Young. Gotta go with A-Ball, and then for the new generation, I say NLE Chopper. He's amazing.

Lil' NLE.

Okay, okay, that's fine. We'll give you both.

Okay, Ms. Gifton, come on. Old school Al Capone, new school gorilla. Oh, okay. Gorilla.

I can pony the gorilla. That was a good pull.

Okay. Mr. McKissick, we know you listen to rap. Come on. Come on.

Come on. My kids do. Actually, and this is artists who I've actually recently met and have come to really love. Glorilla!

Okay, Glorilla in the building. Glorilla is getting a lot of awards and everything, a lot of things, bringing Memphis up to the front. I like it, I like it.

Okay. Uh-huh.

So, the most pressing issues facing voters here in our area. Who's your favorite rap artist? All right.

By the way, I have a question for you. Did you go and see? The Barbie movie or Oppenheimer over the weekend.

Now, we're going to talk to Dylan, who was forced to go see the Barbie movie, and we're going to get his take on it. And I will say this, as I was driving around Memphis, I drove past a movie theater, and you could tell that the guys standing in line were being dragged there by their girlfriends. And they were basically, they were pulling one for the team here. Oh, it was brutal. you could just see the looks of agony and despair on their faces, and many of them were forced to wear pink.

That was tragic, too. But I'm just curious. If you were among those that were forced to go watch the Barbie movie, or did you go see Oppenheimer? I'm very curious to hear your takes. And what I find fascinating is a lot of conservatives have different viewpoints on this.

And the same with Oppenheimer.

So it's sort of all over the place. Before we go to break, I want to go to the phones. We have our great friend Wyatt Cox from the Nevada Talk Network. Wants to weigh in on Jason Aldine. Hi, Wyatt.

What's going on?

Well, I better than I deserve. It's always great to talk to you. Uh as we uh I I have been Went down the rabbit hole last night for about two hours on YouTube. and watched people, mostly African Americans, talk about Chase and Aldean's songs. And African Americans, by and large, saw zero wrong with the song.

Saw zero racism about it. Instead, this song deals with American values. One person reacted saying, This is not black versus white. It is left versus right. Is that right?

So now, Wyatt, are we talking is this so you were watching all of this on YouTube and people were posting messages? These were people who on YouTube were watching the video and they said Ain't nothing wrong with this. This is not racist. And these are mostly African Americans, mostly black folk.

Well, why why do you think that is? Why I mean, you you seemed you seemed a little bit surprised by the reactions from folks.

Well, if this is supposed to be racist. Wouldn't you think that the people who are Well, you know. The racism is from the extreme left against the right. It's not made up. And all you have to do to look at this about CMD.

Country Music Television. Yes.

Paramount. Yeah, I mean, it's really not country music, it's communist music television. That's what CMT stands for these days. That's how far left they have gotten.

So, you know, those of you who have done like me and cut the cord. You got one more thing to cut, Paramount Plus, because Again, they are not American. by any stretch of the imagination. Wyatt, we got to leave it there. You know how this business works.

We got to run for a break. You're doing well out there in Nevada. Trying to stay cool. What is it, like 180, 190 degrees now? That's.

That's down in Vegas.

Okay. Up here, we have had a couple of hundred-degree days up here in the mountains. Oh, my word. It's not good. No, it's not good.

All right, well, Wyatt, drink some iced tea and crank up that air conditioner. All righty, you take care, Todd. All the best. All right.

I want to be judged by my political beliefs. I want to get promoted based on my chromosomes. When I grow up, I want to be offended by my coworkers and walk around the office on eggshells and have my words policed by HR. Words like Grandfather, Peanut Gallery, long time no see. No can-do.

When I grow up, I want to be obsessed with emotional safety and do workplace sensitivity training all day long. When I grow up, I want to climb the corporate ladder just by following the crowd. I want to be a conformist. I want to weaponize my pronouns. What are pronouns?

It's time to grow up and get back to work. Introducing the number one woke-free job board in America: RedBalloon.work. All right, so the doctor said, Todd, you got to do something about the stress and recommended I take up golf.

So I'm I'm going to do it. I'm going to hire a golf pro, and who knows? Maybe I can hit the circuit or something. But my greatest fear, Grace Baker, was that Trump was going to call up one day and say, hey, starts. Come on down to Mar-a-Lago and let's play around, and I'd look like an idiot.

Oh, no. That would be the nightmares about that. I, um, yeah, yeah. It is a concern, I will say that.

So, anyway. It's okay. I bet you could hold your own. Unlike faith in you, you just need to practice a little bit. You have faith?

All right.

I do. But I'm a positive person. Wow, that's not helpful, Grace.

Sorry, Todd. Oh, my goodness. Will you be my caddy? I can drive around. Sure.

If President Trunks there, that would be fun. Oh, that would be kind of fun. Yeah, he would insist that you go down there. Oh, really?

So, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, sure.

Okay, Todd.

So I'm not sure.

Now you're trying to compliment me. No, I he no, he asked about.

Well, never mind. The staff, you know, he hires all these beautiful women that work with him. That's why I was like, okay, is he going to have that route with this? No, Trump and I had this in common. Oh, okay, okay.

All right.

Jeez. Anyway, all that to say, I've got to figure out where to get my golf clubs. And I don't want to do the whole national thing. I want to find someplace local.

So if any of you folks can recommend, you know, maybe a local person who does like the golf clubs.

Well, Memphis has a pretty big golfing community. Yeah. I had a, I spoke in Augusta, Georgia. And this guy came up to me. He said, Man, I loved what you had to say.

I want to give you something. Then like weeks later, I get this weird package in the mail. And I open it up, and it's my custom-made University of Tennessee Orange. Potter, and it's got my name on it, UT Valls, the whole dine yard. Oh, yeah, it's displayed in your office.

It is in my office. It's not been used. No, it has not. It has not. It's getting a little dusty.

Got to break it out. I'm not going to use that, though. That's a ceremonial piece. Oh, okay. But then he gets all that.

I'll think about it. But, you know, L. Rushboe used to play golf. He was a really good golfer. Oh, really?

So I've got any talent. Yeah, I've got to get my game going quickly. I've got a lot of years to make up. I used to play golf, but it's I was not very good. I've never played golf.

I've only done mini golf at putt-putt. Does that count? No, it well, it could count. I'm not very good at that either. I'm not sure President Trump likes to go putt-putting.

I don't see him putt-putting. I'm just saying. All right, I want to talk to Dylan for a second. Oh, because Dylan, you went to The Barbie movie. Right.

And I don't take you as a Barbie kind of a guy.

Well, thank you, Todd. I appreciate that. Sure. So, so you're in a long-standing relationship with a beautiful young lady. Yes.

And she forced you to go, didn't she? It was a little bit of that. It was kind of like a deal. Like, she goes to Oppenheimer with me. I go to Barbie with her.

Oh, so there was some backroom deal making going on. Yeah, a little bit.

So that's kind of how I got pulled into it. I see. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Barbie.

Well, I kinda went into it knowing some of the reviews and, you know, just how You know, the men portrayed in the movie, how they were going to be, and it's kind of exactly what you expect. Was it light? I mean, was it like anti-man? I mean, the men in the movie, all the Kens, if you will, they were all very like fragile. Like, their only goal was to, you know, get Barbie's attention if they didn't.

Do that, then they had a bad day. They were competing against each other for all of that stuff. You know, I don't know. It it I went into it. I was a little uncomfortable because.

It it just it they were so fragile and emotional and they wore pink all the time and I don't know. The guys wore pink all the time. Oh, yeah, they were very colorful.

Okay, I couldn't tell if they were trying to get Barbara's attention or Each other's.

Okay, real quick, we're going to pick this conversation up after the top of the hour here. But I'm curious: was it a packed house? It was. It was packed. I will say that.

I I there was no room for mostly adults or kids. It was not it was mostly people my age, like twenties, maybe a little bit above that.

Okay. All right, we're gonna I I have more questions. And ladies and gentlemen, I'm curious. Did you take the kids to go see Barbie? Because it broke, it smashed opening day records.

I mean, it like destroyed Captain America.

So, we're going to talk about this. I'm just curious to hear your thoughts as well. 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. Here we are superstitions financier superiors.

Well, in my family, man, not the razor because it's a good thing. But if you want to control, for their control, there is a lot more practical. With the personal plan of State Farm, you describe a accessible solo operator. And if you have a gust?

However, State Form is to have a costization today. The present day is a stadium, the legibility for the selection of covert podium. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starz. That's right. I love this American ride.

And hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program.

So happy to have you with us today. Wow, we've got a lot going on. And we're waiting for The indictment of President Trump. We know something's about to happen. We're getting some rumblings from various media sources talking about preparations in the event that happens sometime this week.

So we'll let you know when that happens. If that happens, you will be the first to hear about it here on this program.

So Over the weekend, a big culture war event happened. You had the Barbie movie coming out, and then you had Oppenheimer coming out. I did not see either one. I'm not a big fan of going to the movies because of all the crowds, but there's been a lot of talk about Barbie, and I'm curious if you took your kids to go see it, if you went to go see it, and if so, what was your take on this? Because a lot of conservatives are actually torn.

A lot of conservatives think it was a great movie. It was affirming the gender roles, male and female. Others say it was woke, and it was definitely an anti-man film.

Now, a lot of the guys who went were actually forced to go because they were either dating a female who made them go, or they were like engaged, and you know, they had to go.

So, it was like. Yeah. It was just one of those things you got to suck it up and do it. I think some of them secretly wanted to go, and they just used the girlfriend as the excuse. Are you saying Margot Robbie's beautiful?

Are you saying that Dylan actually wanted secretly to go? That his girlfriends. I think they want to see Margot Robbie. Is this true, Darwin? Margot Robbie is a beautiful actress.

Okay. See? A lot of beautiful people in that movie. I wasn't anxious to go.

Now, keep in mind there is one. What transgender Barbie in the movie? I couldn't figure it out. Is there really it's a Dr. Barbie, right?

Doctor Barbie see, it was hard to tell.

Well, I could tell because her voi his his her voice was lower than mine. Oh, really?

His voice. His voice. He was trying to pretend to be a woman, Barbie. As a brief aside here, guys, I've decided that we're just going to play we're going to play hardball on this whole transgender issue. I just don't believe there's a thing.

You're either a male or a female. That's it. And you got a problem with it, that's on you. And you're not a they. Not apologizing?

That's right. You are not a they, you are a he or a she. That's it. That sounds good to me. Also, I have to correct you, it's called Barbenheimer.

What, Barbenheimer? The cultural moment we are in. We're in Barbie and Oppenheimer. Oh, my older. And people are making T-shirts that say, I survived Barbenheimer.

Hmm. Have you heard of this, Dylan? Yes, half of it is pink and half of it is black. It's like the perfect. Thing.

I wanted one actually. Oh, really?

I kind of did too.

So Oppenheimer was a black and white film. Is that the gist of it? Parts of it.

So the black and white parts were supposed to be the objective, like the factual things that happened. And then the colored parts were like the character Oppenheimer's feelings and thoughts about what happened.

Okay. It was a really cool film. I haven't seen either. Have you seen? Did you see that one too?

Yeah. So you saw both.

So you survived Barbenheimer. And it was.

So Oppenheimer, I will say, one of my favorite movies of all time now. I actually saw it twice. Maybe to scrub out a little of the Barbie that I needed to. But I will say that, yeah, no, that was. You needed to go through two bombings to get rid of it.

Mm-hmm. May I just interject here? I think I may not, I should probably shouldn't have taken the shower today. It smells a little bit in the studio. No, I don't just smell.

Hold on. No, I don't smell. I smell very good. I smell like you've got a bit of a shininess. Old spice.

No, I know my skin is starting to itch now. For those of you who missed the first episode, we're under a do not use our water order. And this is like day five. And people are like, I just didn't want to show up at the office without having a shower. Yeah, that's true.

But now I think. I don't know what is the alternative. Yeah, maybe you should. Oh my gosh. Tomorrow you might have a rash.

I'd get some calamine lotion.

Some Vaseline. Then I'll be pink.

So back to this, Dylan.

So you saw both movies. Did you do this? Was it a back-to-back sort of thing? It was one day, so Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I saw three movies. It was Oppenheimer, Barbie, Oppenheimer.

Some people are doing a back-to-back, they're selling tickets where it's a double feature, and you go watch Barbie, and then you go in the next theater and you watch Oppenheimer. But I think back to the Barbie thing. I mean, Oppenheimer, that's a grown-up film for grown-ups. For anyone, you know, unless you're a teenager. It's for the adult.

With the Barbie. I I think that they're they're really being deceptive here. Yes.

Because it's not for kids. It's BG 13, right, Dylan?

Okay. 'Cause that's the thing though. But if you have a little girl who's like 10, You would probably think I could take them to see the Barbie movie. It was marketed towards kids, it felt like the marketing and the commercials, the trailers that you saw, you don't see any plot of the movie, you just see little cuts of you. Them dancing around and stuff.

So it makes it cute looking. It looks like it's innocent. Sure. But the deeper message in the movie is probably not. Appropriate for some of the movies.

What is the message of the movie? I mean, the message is the overall is like self-discovery, but in the form of like overcoming patriarchy. Like, that's the patriarchy trying to come to Barbie land. Isn't that the thing?

Well, I don't want to give too many spoilers unless you guys are cool with it. I mean, I don't know how many people are going to go see this movie.

Well, I haven't seen it yet, but I do know the basic plot. The basic plot's not a spoiler. Men are evil. Barbie's a hot chick. And I know they utter the word patriarchy at least 10 times, unironically.

Those are the things I know. Clearly, that's poor writing, then, because we're clearly not getting the fact that it's patriarchy, but I suspect you are getting it that it's patriarchy. Yeah, you definitely are. They definitely overdo it. And see, they don't show any of that in the trailers.

So I'm wondering after the movie, how many women stood up and said, I hate you. I hate men, and just like storm out of the theater. I know just several women that have seen it that were like, That was the most stupid movie I've ever seen. Yeah. I I think people are looking for one of those movies where they can dress up and just have the whole cultural experience.

Oh, yeah. I would totally, if that was like my thing, I would have totally joined that. Dylan, were there like little kids in your theater when you went, or was it mostly adult? It was mostly people around my age. There might have been a few kids in there, like mothers bringing their daughters.

But again, I think it's one of those things where they didn't know that it was going to be this kind of movie. I see. But everybody was wearing pink. A lot of college girls. A lot of college high school girls.

Yeah. But, you know, sorority girls. And their boyfriends. Yeah. Well, yeah.

I felt bad for the boyfriends.

Well, I've seen some people, like the girls dress up as Barbie and the guys dress up as somebody from Oppenheimer.

So that's kind of funny.

Some of those Ken dolls look like they were batting for the other team. Oh. It was weird, especially when they broke out in song and started holding hands. I'm like, what?

So Ken was made for Barbie as an accessory, I think, in like the doll. Yes, I think so. That is an ongoing joke. The way that they were accessory. Because it says on the tagline, what she's Barbie, or she's everything, and he's just Ken.

Just Ken. Yeah. Just Ken. Just Ken. So I I mean they were all dressed up.

I mean it's very colorful movie in general, but all the guys they didn't hold back on the outfits and Very loud outfits. Very loud outfits. What were you wearing, Dylan? I was wearing casual clothes. I wasn't forced to wear a pink.

A ball cap. You were not forced to wear pink. That's right. That's good.

Well, there you go. All right.

That's good.

I'm glad to hear that.

So, basically, folks, if you're looking for the plot line of Barbie, that men are evil, and what's the everything's pink. Everything is pink. Men are evil. Everything is pink, and Barbie wears the pants in the relationship. Yes.

All right.

Wow. All right.

I'm curious if you want to go see this movie and is it it's b and again, a lot of conservatives actually took a different approach. And they said, well, they got out of it that There are men and there are women. And there's really nothing else. But then they have a transgender Barbie. But they have a transgender Barbie.

I heard that it does like it does encourage like motherhood and a few other things like that. Like there are some positive messages.

So there was no abortion Barbie. No. Oh my gosh. I'm just asking. I don't think they would have released that one in stores.

Maybe nowadays. I don't know. I was about to say. I mean, you know, Plan Parenthood. He could be.

All right.

844-747-8868. Thank you guys. We got a first-hand account there.

So, exclusive coverage of what did they call it? Barbiezella? No, Barbenheimer. Barbenheimer. Barbenheimer.

Barbenheimer. Wow, it's going to be a long summer. All right.

844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starne Show. All right, write this guy's name down, Steve Mulroy. He is the George Soros styled district attorney here in the Memphis area. And uh word just came down.

Of a pretty horrible case.

So last November, a woman was caught on video. She was firing a gun. Out of an open car window at a police officer who is in front of a police precinct. Uh here in Memphis. Rains Road.

Three people were arrested.

Now, the woman can clearly be seen firing the gun. That is not in dispute. But what's shocking here is that she was released on a fifteen thousand dollar bond. And now we understand that the district attorney, who is a woke radical leftist. The district attorney Um has dropped charges.

And there you go.

So the woman will not be charged. She tried to gun down a Memphis police officer in cold blood. In front of a police precinct. Mayor Jim Strickland, who is a Democrat, by the way, but he is tough on well, he is tough on crime, and he knows we've got a problem here. He said, if this is not a clear example that we have a problem in our criminal justice system, I do not know what one is.

Yet another frustrating example of the revolving door that is two oh one Poplar. two oh one Poplar is where the jail is. The mayor says the Memphis police did their job. They apprehended the woman, but he said it's the judicial system that is failing to prosecute the charges. And this is a shocking statistic.

Twelve police officers have been shot at in Memphis, one killed so far this year. We're what halfway through the year? The mayor said, If criminals are not afraid to shoot at officers, why would they be afraid to shoot at any of the rest of us? Fair question. Things must change.

And the district attorney says that um Well, he's a wass. And he's a pro-criminal wuss, this guy. Really awful, pretty terrible. Elections have consequences, ladies and gentlemen. But now it is open season on police officers here in Memphis, Tennessee.

Can you believe that? You shoot at a cop and they're not going to press charges? Unbelievable. But this is what we're dealing with here in this um in this town.

Alright, I want to play some audio. This is. From Sarah Sanders And Sarah Sanders is open for business in Arkansas, cut number 13. Our message is Arkansas is open for business. We're glad we're doing as well as we are.

We have an unbelievably strong economy. We're continuing to cut taxes and still invest in things like education and public safety. Just remember when you get to Arkansas, don't forget why you left California in the first place. All right, so she's inviting people to come to Arkansas. She's doing a good job there, no doubt about that.

She is, I believe, she's actually on the border right now, sending National Guard troops, Arkansas National Guard troops, to the border to help Texas stop the invasion and the invading horde of illegals. But there's a little. There's a little controversy developing here. According to Axios, tensions between President Trump and his former press secretary have grown. over her neutrality in the twenty twenty four presidential race.

And the president is pointing out that Sarah Sanders would not be where she is right now had it not been for him and his decision to elevate her within the administration. And I think there's a good argument that could be made there. I mean, her dad was governor of Arkansas, but do you really think that Sarah Sanders would have had the national platform and the exposure? Had she not been a part of the Trump campaign?

Meanwhile, you have a lot of other very prominent Republicans who have endorsed President Trump. People like Marsha Blackburn, Bill Haggerty, even Sarah Sanders' father, Mike Huckabee, has thrown in with Trump. One Trump ally says, Hey, look, you should always dance with the person who brought you. And earlier this year, Trump did ask reportedly, and this is now the President is denying this report. He says he's never asked for anyone's endorsement.

He gives the endorsements. I don't generally ask for them. That's what he said on Twitter, I'm sorry, on True Social. And then he goes on to say, With that being said, nobody has done more for her than I have, with the possible exception of her great father, Mike.

So I'm curious, what do you think is going on there? Why do you think Sarah Sanders, Governor Sanders, has not endorsed Donald Trump? According to Axios, Sanders has become close to the wife of Governor Ron DeSantis. They both had experiences with cancer in recent years. Sarah reached out to Casey during her treatments, and the same thing happened when Sarah had her experience.

So maybe there's a bonding there. But do you believe that Sarah Sanders should be endorsing President Trump? 844-747-8868. That's 844-747-868. 8868.

Now, look, I want to talk about this. The story out of Florida involving Ron DeSantis. and the curriculum.

Now there is a new curriculum that's causing controversy. We know that the Vice President of the United States has been flat out lying about it. And um We're going to play some of that a little bit later, but Ron DeSantis. is defending the curriculum. But it's the way he's defending the curriculum that is really turning people.

Oh. Now, first and foremost, this is over 200 pages worth of curriculum, and they literally, the left literally plucked a line out of context to say that. Students, children are going to learn that slaves benefited from slavery. And that is not what the curriculum is about.

So instead of just Just doubling down and saying, no, this is that is a lie, and that's not what the curriculum is about. Here's how.

Well, here's how DeSantis responded. Cut number, let's try cut number 12. I didn't do it. I wasn't involved in it. But I think what they're doing is I think that they're probably going to show some of the folks that eventually parlayed being a blacksmith into doing things later in life.

But the reality is all of that is rooted in whatever is factual. They listed everything out. And if you have any questions about it, just ask the Department of Education. You can talk about those folks. But I mean, these were scholars who put that together.

It was not anything that was done politically. Wow. So he said, I don't have anything to do with it. That wasn't my decision. If you want to get info, you've got to call the Department of Education.

Well, I get it, Governor, but you know what? That's your Department of Education. And you're out there and you're saying that we've got to do all this stuff. Guess what, sir? The buck stops at your desk.

Why not just use that moment instead of literally throwing your Department of Education under the bus? And by the way, there were a lot of blacks on the committee that wrote the curriculum. It is fair, it is balanced, it is factual. And one of the chief things that students are learning about slavery is about the causes and the consequences of the slave trade in America. They also learn about the great contributions that blacks made to the nation.

And there is a line about how slaves were able to benefit from slavery by learning a trade, but within the context, it makes perfect sense. And there's nothing offensive about that. And for the Vice President to go out there and declare war on this because they know that Governor DeSantis did not have the courage to stand up and defend his Department of Education. Guess what happened here, folks? When the going got tough, Ron DeSantis passed the buck.

And I'm not sure that's the right message to send to voters. All right, 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starr Show. Hey, babe, what you got there? This is a check from Carvana.

I just sold my car to them. I went online and Carvana gave me an offer right away. Then they just picked up the car and gave me this. That's a big check.

Well, obviously you could put this towards your next car, or we could finally get that jacuzzi, or I could start taking tuba lessons, or I could quit my job and write my memoir. Or I can put it towards my next car with Carvana.

Sorry, your check, not mine. Sell your car to Carvana. Visit Carvana.com or download the app to get a real offer in seconds. All right, welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. I gotta play some audio for you here.

This is nuts.

So Congressman Matt Gates out of Florida. Was grilling the U.S. Air Force Academy Superintendent. This is somewhat disturbing. There was a back and forth over defining gender ideology terms, Cut 18.

Sir, our board of visitors is populated and supports us in great fashion. Right, but what about the subcommittee? Are there people on the board of visitors subcommittees who are not on the board of visitors? I can't answer that, sir. Seems like something we ought to know.

Yes, sir. I'm not sure. Right, but that would be odd, right? I mean, here okay, let me ask the question this way. You you don't have any basis to disagree with the reporting here in the Washington Examiner that literally we have people who are not on the board of visitors who are serving on these subcommittees.

You have no basis to disagree with that, do you? Sir, I am not exactly sure of the question you are asking. I will have to take that for record so I can understand what you are. Look forward to that. Exactly what you're asking.

All right.

So then the money bite here is that Congressman Matt Gates. Was literally asking the superintendent to say, to define certain race terms. For example, you're pushing a program in the academies that says if you're a cisgender woman, a transgender woman, a non-binary, agender, bi-gender, two-spirit, demigender, what's demigender? And the guy could not. Define the terminology.

No, because nobody knows. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Honored to have with us one of the great hosts of Newsmax, Carl Higby Frontline. Carl Higby. Hey Carl, how are you doing today?

Cod, what's happening, man? I was getting madder and madder as you were playing those soundbites. I mean, look, the the idea that they are kowtowing to these radical sex and gender revolutionaries, Carl, at the Air Force Academy. I mean, the Air Force has gone full blown woke here.

Well, the problem is, and Tom, you and I have talked about this before. The military's job is to kill bad guys and break their stuff. That is all. And I don't know what a demi-gender is, or a cisgender this, or a multi-gender that, but like, this is a bunch of people who've never had a hardship. Why the heck?

Should we have to sit here and pretend to be any number of forty genders or a cat if the mood strikes them, so they can go in the military and use that as a social experiment? Carl, you were a U. S. Navy SEAL, and you have seen a lot. I know you talked to a lot of veterans out there.

What are they saying about this radical agenda that's being shoved into the military right now? My lord, it's the same thing. Can you carry me out of battle if I get shot? I don't care if your name is Sue or Shirley or Bob or Mike or even Todd. It doesn't matter.

Every one of the guys that I went to war with, and Mike Todd, look, we did a lot of stuff over in Iraq. I didn't care what color. You could be white, black, blue, green, orange, whatever. I didn't care. If you could do your job, that's all that mattered.

And in training, it was the same thing. And there's a bunch of guys like us who have kids. I have two sons and a daughter. I don't want any of them to go in the military with this as the current climate because I'm terrified that they're going to go to war and some rules of engagement are going to be more important about some gender-specific thing than they are about coming home alive. Colonel, I'm curious, were you starting to see any of this when you were still in the military?

It yes, vaguely. It was not I mean, like look, I got out in twenty twelve.

So I had Barack Obama as my commander in chief. And it started to get that way. They got rid of don't ask, don't tell, which to be honest, like I was one of those guys, like I wouldn't have I wouldn't have undone Don't Ask, Don't Tell, but if I had become king of the world tomorrow, I wouldn't have put it back in because it created another element of instability. It it should not be anything, but can you Kill the bad guy? Can you carry out the mission?

And if your head isn't anywhere but that, well, guess what? Find a new career because. I want my like if I'm going to let my kid serve. or encourage them to serve? I would want them to be serving with people who actually have their best interest in heart as well as the fundamental principles of the American dream, not some.

Weird. Yeah. Perverted version of what it once was. All right, Carl Higby on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today, host of Carl Higby Frontline on Newsmax. Carl, I will say this.

I was really impressed with how Newsmax covered the latest intel surrounding Fox News. Of course, Glenn Beck on with Eric Bowling, and the shocking report from the Blaze. That Fox was at least offering to contribute to some pretty radical groups like A Satanic Temple and Planned Parenthood. I have to imagine this is one of the reasons why you guys have seen such an increase in viewership. People leaving Fox and they're discovering the great news channel, Newsmax.

Yeah, I mean, look, I'm at 5 p.m. And I'm up against the one show on Fox News that hasn't really lost ratings, but this is the reason to stop watching them, man. I mean, they are matching donations to satanic clubs and liberal. You know, look, Tucker Carlson nailed this, and he was like raked over the cold sport when he said, if you have pronouns in your bio, maybe you shouldn't work here. And the people who manage Fox News have basically told their viewers, like, I don't stand, we don't care about your values.

And that's why people like, our ratings are soaring because this is fantastic. But you know what? If they want to continue to dig that grave, go for it. And isn't it fascinating, though? I mean, when you look at, I mean, Newsmax has really become a refugee center, I think.

A lot of the former Fox folks coming over, and they're not only just finding a home. I remember when I was there filling in for South Sedo for a week, you just feel this camaraderie, this kinship with folks, and there's just something real there. I love the vibe. Yeah. I mean, it's great.

You know what's funny too is they have people walking through here interviewing every day. Any time I'm involved in an interview process, which is not a lot, but sometimes it's if they're going on my show or maybe something like that, I always ask the one question, What federal agency would you eliminate and why? And If your answer is not the IRS, Okay. You know, but the the crazy thing is this. every single person that has walked through this door and I've asked that question to, it's been the IRSC Department of Education.

So it's a very tight knit, very like minded area where we're not going to kowtow to these new like waffly opinions of, oh, well, you don't have the right to be offended. You see, I love this, and that comes across on your show and and all the other shows over there. Just it's a lot of fun, and it looks like you guys are having a lot. Are you having a lot of fun, Carl? Look, I get paid to go on T V and give my opinion, which I do for free at family dinners all the time.

But this is like the greatest draft in the world. I work with some of the like my team is a bunch of pipe hitters. I mean, these guys and gals, they get up every morning, they take it to the max. They review the entire internet every day so we can bring the right news. And we have a blast doing it, it's like the dream job.

And I don't want to give away where you live, but I will say this: one of the neat things about you, you don't live in one of those deluxe apartments in the sky as they used to sing about on the Jeffersons. You're a country guy. I am. I actually just got back. I spent a week fly fishing in Wyoming last week.

I have a farm upstate Connecticut because I'm an avid hunter. I'm not afraid to talk about it. I'm not ashamed of it. And if someone has a problem with it, well, they can tell it to someone else. I think, you know, like raising your kids not in concrete 60-story buildings is one of the most fundamental things to give into giving them a foundation that they can actually take it.

Like Thomas Jefferson said it. He said, the cities will be the downfall of America because. You separate people from the means of production and then they lose the value of an item. And I think you nailed it right there. And that's why I try to spend every waking minute I can outside of Manhattan.

I'm happy to commute an hour and a half each way. just so my kids can learn how to play outside. I love it.

Well, Carl, we're going to leave it there. Great stuff tonight, 5 o'clock. Carl Higby frontline. Folks, check it out. You're going to love it.

It's a great show. Carl, appreciate you coming on the program today. Carl, thanks so much. All right.

Good guy right there. And he is the real deal. Got the farm. Loves getting out there fishing and enjoying the wildlife. It's great.

Good for you. All right, folks, we've got to take a quick break here. 844-747-8868. I am curious: was that the last straw for you guys, learning that Fox News was contributing to the Satanic Temple and Planned Parenthood? Was that the final straw?

844-747-8868. That's our telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. You know, speaking of news, Max, we've been a big fan of David Horowitz, the great best-selling author. And he has a brand new book out called The Final Battle.

President Trump says this is a must-read book in advance of the 2024 election, and he says it exposes the far left's attempts to end democracy. David Horowitz warns of a deep state effort to stop Trump and to stop conservatives, and he names names in this book. By the way, Mike Huckabee says this is an incredible book that every Christian in America needs to read.

So, look, you're going to be able to get the final battle in bookstores everywhere. It's already an Amazon bestseller, but you can also get it for free. All you have to do is go to finalbattle611.com. That's finalbattle611.com. You're going to be able to save almost $30.

The changes include teaching middle schoolers that some enslaved people actually benefited from slavery because it taught them skills. Nancy Cordas is following all of this at the White House. Good morning, Nancy.

Good morning, John. Yes, this debate may have started in Florida, but it has now landed squarely in the middle of the presidential race. I didn't do it and I wasn't involved in it. Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis tried to distance himself from the curriculum controversy, but it didn't work. I didn't do it and I'm not involved in it are not the words of leadership.

Florida's new history teaching guidelines approved last week stem from a 2022 law Governor DeSantis called the Stop Woke Act. Governor DeSantis started this fire with the bill that he signed. The new standards say Florida students should be taught about the harsh conditions slaves endured, but also about how slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit. They're probably going to show some of the folks that eventually parlayed being a blacksmith into doing things later in life. That comment drew a swift rebuke from fellow Republican presidential candidate Will Hurd, who tweeted, slavery wasn't a jobs program that taught Beneficial skills, it was literally dehumanizing.

NAACP President Derek Johnson. We all must stand together as a nation to ensure. We don't find ourselves going backwards, that we stand united as a country and not try to remake history. Two of the authors of the guidelines say they proudly stand behind them and that they were, quote, developed using a methodical process within our work group. They want to replace history with lies.

The nation's first black and Asian American vice president traveled to Florida Friday to condemn the new standards in person. I am deeply concerned. Because let's be clear, I do believe this is not only about the state of Florida, there is a national agenda afoot. This is likely to come up again when Vice President Harris appears at a Latino conference in Chicago today. Governor DeSantis is defending the new standards, saying they are probably the most robust African American history standards in the country.

All right, there you go. That's the CBS news report on what's happening with. with DeSantis. But what gets lost in all of this controversy is something called the facts. And the facts are that this was a 214-page curriculum.

And that one line was lifted out of context. By the way, the person who is the chancellor for the Department of Education in Florida happens to be a black man. There are at least, that we know of, at least two members of the work group. who created this. It had thirteen members.

And at least two of them happen to be. Black academics, and they are. they are ferociously Defending all of this, and they say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the curriculum.

So, you're going to be hearing a lot of stuff from Kamala Harris and all these others. But the fact is. That the only people, and this is on Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, because when he was out there defending this, he was surrounded by basically white people. And what he should have done is hauled out the committee. This work group, all 13 of them, and put them out in front of the cameras and said, Hey, look, here's the group that came up with this, and I'm going to let them explain why they did X, Y, and Z.

But the governor should have said, I stand behind every single word. That's in this document. Instead, he threw the committee under the bus. And you watch what's going to and the problem now is this has become a political issue and a political liability for the governor. And I'm not the mainstream media is not going to backtrack.

They're not going to apologize.

So, you've got to play smart politics, and this is once again an example of Governor DeSantis. Either being naive or just Or just his campaign staff being downright stupid, but either one is a liability out on the campaign trail. Eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight is our telephone number. That's eight four four seven four seven eighty eight sixty eight.

So I say good for the Florida Department of Education. I mean, they're trying to do the right thing here. They just need to know the governor has their back. And shame on the vice president for going down to Florida and flat out lying about what's going on. And here's an example of that: cut 17.

Just yesterday, in the state of Florida, they decided middle school students will be taught that enslaved people benefited from slavery. They insult us in an attempt to gaslight us, and we will not stand for it.

Well, uh yeah, okay, except you're lying, Miss Vice President, Madam Vice President. Matter of fact, I w has Vice President Harris apologized for her family tree? because she comes from slave holders. I'm just curious, has she ever renounced her family lineage? Just asking.

Because a bunch of white people around this country are being ordered to repent for the sins of their ancestors.

So, what about Kamala Harris? What about her family? What about her people? Yeah. Just asking, just I'm just asking questions.

And for that matter If you really want to do a deep dive into history, What about the millions of whites who were enslaved? I'm talking about white Europeans who were enslaved by the Barbary pirates. in the seventeen hundreds in Africa. What about those people? Anybody going to condemn that?

I mean, if we're going to be condemning slavery, I mean, seriously, if we're going to be condemning slavery, shouldn't we condemn all forms of slavery? I do seem to recall reading the Old Testament. There was a lot of slavery going down in Egypt land, right? I'm just saying, if we're going to have the conversation, let's have an honest and open conversation. Because I believe we can all say that slavery Was evil good?

And is evil? That slavery was a great sinful stain on on this on this great nation. But guess what? There are no slaves in America. We fought a war over that.

I know, I know it flies in the face of what they're telling us. Because if you watch the news, they would have you believe that there are actually slaves picking cotton in the fields of Mississippi right now. That's what they want you to believe, but that's not the truth.

So, Governor DeSantis, you got to put on your big boy pants, sir. You got to stand up. You got to defend these people. You got to defend your people, Governor. And if you do that, you're going to win the day.

All right, gotta take a break here, folks. 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right.

I love this American. Todd Starns. All right, we have some breaking news to share with you, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Cearns Radio Program. And you better buckle up for this one, folks.

This is a doozy.

So we are now getting reporting and multiple sources from the Martha's Vineyard Times to the Daily Mail, which seems to have a lot of intel here. But a body has been found on property belonging to former President Obama. At his Martha's Vineyard Estate.

Now, this is the multi-million dollar mansion, that $12 million seaside mansion that he bought. and uh police say that they have found the body of a black man. a paddle a paddle boarder who uh is believed to be forty-three years old.

Now We're going to get to some more details. I'm reading from the Daily Mail account right now, and then we're going to get to some of the local coverage, which is rather intriguing. But the divers said they found the body of the paddle boarder. He went missing. And this all backs onto Obama's $12 million estate.

However, the police report indicates that this happened at the estate, not near, but at the estate. The forty-three-year-old paddle boarder. Vanished on Sunday night when he was out with another paddle boarder. We don't know who that is. They're not identifying that person.

Witnesses told cops the man went underwater and then briefly reappeared as he struggled to stay afloat, and then he disappeared. Under the waters. A massive joint agency search resumed Monday morning for the African American man who was last seen wearing all black without a life jacket. This is according to the reporting of the Martha's Vineyard Times. His paddle board and his hat were recovered Sunday.

His body was found about a hundred feet away on Monday. Morning. That's odd. Very odd.

Now, here's the really weird part. It's unclear if the former president is currently staying at the estate. Why is that not? Why is that not clear? I mean, they know where the former president is all the time.

And it seems to me that they would. Put that information out immediately. To dispel any sorts of rumors or rumblings of rumors. That might be coming out. Want to read this to you from the Martha's Vineyard Times.

That um The state police are now investigating the fatality. By the way, they found the body in eight-foot-deep waters.

So, yeah, that's deep, but it's not super deep. I mean, how could they not see the body there? The paddleboarder went missing Sunday evening on Edgardtown Great Pond. The U. S.

Coast Guard, state police and local emergency responded. A US Coast Guard helicopter was on sight. Massachusetts State Police also deployed an underwater recovery unit.

So there was a massive, massive response to this incident at and I'm going to read this to you. First responders, this is according to the NV Times. First responders were dispatched to seventy nine Turkeyland Cove Road. Former President Barack Obama's estate. Oh boy.

Oh boy. So we're scrolling down through here with the local reporting. And Grace, just keep me updated on any new developments here as this news breaks at this hour. But again, a body recovered from the estate, Of former President Barack Hussein Obama. and his wife, Michelle, And uh all they're telling us The body is a is of a forty-three year old.

Black Man who had gone missing while panel boarding. What do you think about that? No, Dylan, I don't know where Hillary Clinton was at the time, I don't know. I yeah. That it doesn't say in the reporting.

A terrible tragedy, though, and uh certainly our thoughts are with the the family of whoever this is, but wow, what a weird story this is. Developing from the twelve million dollar Martha's Vineyard estate bel belonging to one Barack Hussein Obama. Interesting.

So we'll keep you updated on that story throughout the show. No, I'm not. No, I'm not going to speculate. I mean, we're getting the information, the grace, and we're sharing that information with our audience. That's what we do here.

And I know I'm not speculating. There's nothing, don't read between the lines. I am just telling you, ladies and gentlemen, this is what we know. Yeah. But there are a lot of holes in the story right now.

We report the news. You form your own opinion. Right. Independent from us. Yes, and I suspect many people are.

I can only imagine. I'm not going to say what they may or may not think. They can decide for themselves. Exactly.

So no, we don't have any idea. What's going on here? But when we do, we will bring that information to you. I'm surprised that TMZ has not jumped all over this just yet. But maybe, maybe news media, and by the way, Boston Globe does have the story.

But most of the media is shying away from this story right now. For whatever reason. Yeah. And I would expect somebody, I wonder if somebody's going to be allowed to ask that question at the White House press briefing.

So there you go. Uh fascinating. And that's it. We have no other major networks other than the local reporting there and also of the Daily Mail. And the Daily Mail normally gets these stories.

They get it right. I do see a report by CBS News, but it's very bare bones. Is that right?

The body of the missing paddleboarder was found in Martha's Vineyard doesn't mention Obama, doesn't mention the mansion. It just says he's been recovered, his name's not been released. Very bare bones. I mean, seriously, no details. It is literally one, two, three, four, five sentences long.

Which is why, and again, it's important for us because we want to make sure you know where we are getting our information from. And we're getting that information from the Daily Mail, and we're getting it from the Martha's Vineyard Times, which is, and usually the local newspapers are the ones that get all that information, and they get it right because clearly they've got sources within the police department, and it is. Anyway, something's very weird about all of this. I It's just very odd. We will keep you updated on these.

On these developments, our good friend Tom Fitton. I was. Tom Finton said, again, just a little bit of information here. The man dipped under the water while on the board.

Now emergency services are searching. It's understood that the dispatch address for the incident came from Obama's $12 million Martha's Vineyard home.

So there you go. Uh someone says um So let me get this straight. An estate with Secret Service monitoring the area at all times let a paddle boarder drown one hundred feet off shore of an ex President's estate in eight feet of water? I The Mm-hmm. People are going to have questions.

That's I'm just telling you, people are going to have questions. We might not have the answers, but we can. Bring questions as well. But I am curious, though, and again, we don't. I th now this is an interesting component of this.

This is a secure area. It is very, and so you would have to wonder: okay, how did the paddle border get into that area? It makes me think. He had permission or a family member. We don't know.

We do not know. A lot of unknown information at this point, but we will bring that to you here in the coming moments.

So 844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-868. 8868.

This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us.

So I think it's funny, this is coming from... The independent journalist Ed Krassenstein. And I'm just going to read this. He says, um. If you are trying at all to make this about former President Obama or trying and make it seem as if Obama had anything to do whatsoever with this, then you are simply a bad person.

Well, I No, I don't think anybody's trying to make this about anything other than the fact it's very unusual whenever you find a body anywhere near the estate of a former or current President of the United States. I will say this: had something like that happened at Mar-a-Lago, you better believe the media would have been all over this already, and there would be pictures of Mar-a-Lago and Donald Trump and the dead body on every single major publication in America. Exactly.

And there would have already been theories on what happened, why it happened, and why Trump was behind it. Exactly.

Exactly.

It would have been everywhere. You get the words right out of his mouth.

So give me a break here. And I know, look. We don't know anything about what happened, and but again, that's why we go right to the source and we share that information with you. Yes.

So there you go. And if anything pops up, we will let you know. We will keep you apprised. Unbelievable. So there you go.

Huh. What do you think it is? No, we can't speculate. We can't speculate. We're not going to speculate.

But it is very peculiar. But I'm not speculating. I know, Grace. Behave. All right.

I want to go back to some.

Some audio here. Uh Kamala Harris. And oh no, no, no. I'm sorry, not Kamala Harris, Snow White. Wow, that's sorry.

Boy, that's a big faux pas.

So, you know, the other big story, and I forgot to mention this when we were talking about Barbie what do they call it? Barba Barbiezilla? Barbenheimer. Yeah, Barbenheimer.

Sorry, Godzilla already came out. That's an old movie. Good lord. Oppenheimer and Barbie. All right.

So, anyway, Barbie's not the only chick going woke these days.

So now, Snow White has Disney's doing a new version of Snow White, and Snow White is actually Snow Brown. She's Hispanic. And Snow White is, I think, the dwarfs, they don't have any dwarfs except for one, and he's a little midget fella. And one of them is a woman. He's a little person.

And then the rest of them are like full-grown people. There's a woman. Yeah, so there's Snow Brown and the one dwarf. And she is a man-hater, this one. And so, anyway, I want you to hear.

This is actually the. Actress, who oh, we're not allowed to call them that anymore. This is the actor. who portrays uh Snow Brown and the and the singular dwarf. Is that the name of the Oh, no.

This is an entirely different movie as far as I'm concerned. It's very confusing. We try to be very politically correct on this project. Oh, yeah, it's really hard to do. Yeah.

I pe we people compliment us about that all the time. Oh yeah, those are the phone calls I get, Tosh. I know. All right, cut to. You said you were bringing a modern edge to it on stage.

What do you mean by that? I just mean that it's no longer 1937 and we absolutely wrote a Snow White that is not gonna be saved by the Prince and she's not gonna be dreaming about true love. She's dreaming about becoming the leader she knows she can be and the leader that her late father told her that she could be if she was fearless, fair, brave and true. And so it's just a really incredible story for I think young people everywhere to see themselves in. Snow White is running for president.

I'm launching my campaign.

So there you go. So the new Snow White says that men are irrelevant. She doesn't need no man to save her. And women power. Don't shave your armpits.

Wear the Mexican man shoes. This is just a different movie, it sounds like, if there's no Prince Charming or anything. I mean, that's just fine. Just make another movie.

So, this is the thing. Why are they? Look, the gays and the lesbians and all the other folks in that alphabet activist group, they're out there attacking all of the comic books, turning all of your beloved comic book characters gay, lesbian, whatever. Aquaman. Superman.

And an argument could be made: this is somewhat bestiality. But Aquaman himself being a fish, maybe he can get away with it. You went there.

Well, it's true. I mean, I'm not the one cavorting around with a dolphin for crying out loud. There's Batman and Robin. That's a little small. We saw that coming up.

We don't judge. We don't just. But anyway, everybody's gone gay. And look, if you are working at DC Comics and you want to have a gay superhero character, then just go out and create a gay superhero character. Because what is the.

What is the overarching Theme in the LGBT movement. You are. Born that way.

So Superman was not born, was not birthed on the pages being gay. He was a straight dude. He had the hots for Lois Lane. I was going to say Lerner. Wait a minute.

Not Lois Lerner. No, that's the IRS. Also, Lois Lane is Superman. Oh, who was I talking about? You were talking about Batman, I think.

No, I was talking No, I was talking about Superman. Oh, okay. You're jumping around. Yeah, Batman had a. His youthful ward.

Well, Batman has Catwoman. No, Batman has his youthful ward.

Okay. That's what they called him in the TV show.

Well, I'm just noticing they're also trying like even when superheroes are obviously like Straight in movies. They're like coming out with these conspiracy theories, like the new Spider-Man movie that came out, the animated one. The girl Spider-Woman. When Staisy They're like, oh, she's a she's transgender because her colors are pink and blue. And everyone's like, no, that's not it.

She's in love with Miles Morales. But anyway, all that to say, and going back to going back to Snow White, so they're now doing to the brothers Grimm what they've already done to the comic book world, which is take all these beloved characters and try to convince everybody that they're gay. And again, if I have no problem with you going out there and creating a new character who is, in fact, gay, that's look, great. If you can make a living doing that, go for it. But this is not Snow White.

That is not the Snow White that was created by the Brothers Grimm.

So why why do they and why does Disney have a right to go and redo these characters and redefine who these characters are and the ultimate message of Snow White? That's a good question. Which is apparently she had a lot of patients living with those very you know. Temperamental dwarfs. True.

And I just want to know how the live-action remake of Bambi is going to go. Oh, Lord. Don't even get that one. I'm like, what are you going to do? Can you imagine the death scene of the mother?

I bet they don't kill her. Oh, you don't think so? If they're gonna change, PETA will go after them. Maybe Bambi is hunting humans. Maybe a little swapping there.

Maybe that's what that is. Oh my word, it's terrible. All right, I have a question for you, folks.

So, there is a great story from Newsweek.

So there's a guy who got married. And they're traveling to visit the in-laws, right?

So they get where they get to the in-law's house and And then they tell their son-in-law. that he's not allowed to sleep in the same bedroom with his wife. Because they have a rule. That the daughter cannot sleep with a man in their home. Even though the man is married to the daughter.

and so instead they made him sleep on the couch.

Well the guy says he's got a bad back. And he doesn't like sleeping on the couch. And he felt like the best course of action was to get a hotel room.

So he went to a Marriott. And he spent the night at the Marriott while his wife, Slept in her parents' home. And so now the parents are very upset. And they say they've been offended by the husband. And they believe they're due an apology.

I would have been offended if I was the guy. I think the issue here is not the parents. Maybe the issue is the wife. Oh, that's true. Right.

Why would you s why does she not stand up to mommy and daddy? I mean, they're married. I thought you were about to say it was boyfriend, girlfriends. No, no, no, they're married. I mean, if it was a boyfriend and a girlfriend, I can understand that.

Yeah. I mean, I wouldn't even let the guy sleep in the house. Just make him, you know, give him a sleeping bag and go out back. And then have the dog guard, right? That's a good idea.

Anyway, I'm curious, ladies and gentlemen, have you heard of anything like this before? Do you have that same policy where you don't allow your daughter's husband to sleep in the same bed if they're visiting? What the heck? 844-747-8868. Who's on the right here?

I say the I say the poor guy is. Enjoy the Marriott. You need to bad, shoot the bad. I wanna have you, shoot me back. Shooting the buttons, shooting butts, I wanna know Shooting the butts like computer All right, welcome back, everybody.

And we are following this breaking news out of Artha's Vineyard, where the body of a 43-year-old black paddleboarder has been discovered either at or near Obama's mansion compound. The local reporting from the Martha's Vineyard Times is actually giving the address of the 911 call as Obama's mansion.

So, I think a lot of people are being very sensitive about this and being very careful with whatever information is coming out. But we're going to keep you updated on any sort of developments. And be sure to listen to your local radio station. I'm sure they will be covering it as well. You know, one of the things we've been talking about for a while.

On this radio show. is the patriot economy, this idea of supporting businesses and doing business with organizations, with companies that share our values. And that's one of the ways that we are going to be able to fundamentally change the direction of this nation. And that's why we love our conversations with Art Alley, who is the founder and president of Timothy Plan. By the way, the website, TimothyPlan.com.

And it is just an incredible ministry that these guys have. Art, hope you're doing well today. Oh, Todd, I am doing well, and it's good to be with you again. You know, Art, it's been a while since we've been able to jump in and just talk specifically about what you guys do at Timothy Plan.

So, why don't you explain to our listeners the ministry and what you guys do at TimothyPlan.com?

Well, we've been doing it for a long time. Todd and people are catching up with us now, finally. We are a mutual fund family. Plain and simple. We've got twelve mutual funds and seven exchange traded funds.

But we refuse. to allow our money management firms to invest in companies that are trying to destroy us. Or at least erode our entire moral foundation, whether they're involved in abortion or pornography or. Non-traditional married lifestyles, whether it's homosexual or heterosexual, there are corporations that are actually promoting. Supporting and funding, that kind of stuff.

And you know, thirty years ago, we drew a line in the sand tub.

So do you know what? A people of faith, a true faith. real Christians. that understand biblical principles, Uh have no business. investing in companies, that are pursuing an unholy agenda.

But the problem was nobody was screening them out and so thirty years ago we jumped into the water and we said, You know what, it's time. We refuse to own them. Um There is it makes no sense. You know the other side of this it's good versus evil. I mean, that's the bottom line if you have to sort it out.

Uh but the other side has understood for a long time Todd, the principle of weaponizing money, and they've done it very well.

Well, we have live and let live and I'm okay. And as long as I'm pursuing the American dream of unlimited prosperity, I'm fine. But we're not fine anymore and we're waking up to that fact. And thank goodness, people on our side. are starting to understand it's always about the money, If a company is pursuing an unholy agenda.

For goodness sakes, do not frequent their stores or whatever business they're in. and support them with the money God's entrusted to you. And likewise, the same goes for investing. Why would you want to invest? If you're pro life, how much money do you want to have invested in abortion?

Well, it ought to be zero. And that's what you do with Timothy. We refuse to own them. We have proven over thirty years, you can still get competitive investment performance because we got outstanding money managers, But you don't have to compromise your moral principles, Todd.

Well, I just love this idea. And just really over the past year or so, this idea of a patriot economy is taking shape where people are very intentional about doing business with fellow like-minded conservatives, fellow like-minded Christian patriots. And I think this is a super way, and you guys make it so simple for folks to understand, okay, if I invest with this company, then maybe I'm supporting abortion. Or if I support this company, I might be supporting trafficking.

So this is, and I love the way you guys frame it here, Art, on the website, rethinking the way you think about investing. Hmm. Well, that's true. And we do the heavy lifting. And you know what?

We also offer a service, Todd, that Anybody can call us, tell us where their money is invested, and we have a service called Evaluator. That we can tell them how much money they have invested in companies that are involved. and things like abortion and pornography and all the rest. Bottom line, you don't have to do it. Intentional is a great word.

And I am for the first time in a long time Very optimistic because the pendulum seems to be swinging back. And it's because people are starting to be intentional Just look at what happened to Target with their foolishness and craziness and satanic and transgender and all the rest of that promotion they're doing. We hit them in the pocketbook. We just stopped shopping there. You don't have to shop there.

There are alternatives. It's true. And you probably stopped drinking Bud Light.

Well, I never started drinking Bud Light art, so but boy, were they stupid, I mean, offending their their main audience. But you know, I mean, but for folks who might drink like a Coca-Cola or something else, you know what? You might want to check to see, hey, where is my money going when I buy that Coca-Cola? And maybe you don't need to be drinking Coca-Cola. But so that's what I love about TimothyPlan.com.

And also, Art, real quick, you've got a, maybe you've had this on the site and I've just overlooked it, but you actually have a link where you can check the background of mutual fund distributors like Timothy, like Timothy Partners, and it's called a broker check.

Well Um I'm going to have to get more up to speed on that because that's just brand new. Oh, well, it's great. And again, this goes to the integrity of what you guys are doing at Timothy Plan and just giving people background and reassurance because there are a lot of folks out there that want to take advantage, and that's not what you guys do. And so I just love it from an integrity standpoint that you guys are doing this over at Timothy Plan.

Well, that is what God called us to do, and we're not wearing a fish on our shirt sleeve. We're serious about it? We could have compromised over the years and been 10 times the size we are now. But we're growing. We just passed two point two billion dollars in assets.

And what that means to me is those assets have been taken out of the hands of the world. but people that care about this stuff. And if enough of us do that, They are going to get the message because it's always about the money. That's what motivates. these businesses.

And when it starts costing them, They're going to change their behavior. Good stuff. And again, folks, TimothyPlan.com.

Now, if you happen to be one of our Christian listeners, they have a free online study on biblical stewardship. And you can check that out there on the website as well, TimothyPlan.com. And be sure to check that out. You can also give them a call, 1-800-846-7526.

Well, Art, we've got to wrap it up. Always good hearing from you, sir. Todd, you keep up the good work, man. You're a blessing to America. All right.

Art Alley, ladies and gentlemen, a great, great man, and we appreciate the great work they're doing. He and his wonderful team over at Timothy Plan, helping us move into what we're calling a patriot Economy.

Good to have you with us.

This headline from Breitbart. Mm-hmm. Brand new survey out. Belief in the existence of hell and the devil is down to new lows. This is according to Gallup.

They say that the percentages of Americans who believe in five religious entities - God, angels, Heaven, hell, and the devil are down to new lows. Gallup has polled Americans five times since 2001 about beliefs in the five entities. and it is now at its lowest point ever. Compared with 2001, belief in God and heaven down 16 points each. Belief in hell has fallen twelve points.

You know, I'm surprised that's actually fallen based on how Biden's been running the country. I mean, it kind of feels like we're in the lake of fire these days. I'm just saying. Devils and Angels down ten points each. Seventy four percent of Americans believe in God.

Sixty nine percent in angels. 67% in heaven, 59% believe in hell, 58% believe in The Devil Nearly three in ten do not believe in any of this stuff. By the way, those who believe the most would be frequent church goers, Protestants and Republicans. Democrats are half as likely to believe in the devil.

So that no surprise there. Just say it. She's a loop. This information from Breitbart as well. Los Angeles, which is a sanctuary city, has now received a fifth busload of migrants from Texas.

Well, good for Governor Abbott. And it's good for the wonderful people of Los Angeles. I know your city is a third-world hellhole right now. I get that, but. But you're doing the right thing, Los Angeles, by putting the needs of the illegals ahead of those of the law-abiding taxpaying citizens.

of your fair city. The city has now received an additional forty-four illegals and apparently they are freaking out over it. But you know what? You're a sanctuary city. I mean, if you don't want the illegals, then maybe you should just rescind.

the notification that you are a sanctuary city.

Alright, so I gotta tell you about This great story involving Luke Holmes, the Uh the country music singer.

So he was doing a concert, I believe, in Boston, and there is a little boy, eight-year-old boy, and his name is Cooper Massingill, and he is from Georgia. And little Cooper, again, eight years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia when he was three, and he's just been fighting. You know, he's. Have had to go through multiple surgeries, but the kid's a tough little kid, and he's a fighter. And he's a big Luke Combs fan.

And so, anyway, Make-A-Wish came to pay a visit, and he said that he would love to be able to sing a song on stage with Luke Combs. And they were able to work on all the details. And they made it happen. And it was really a beautiful thing. We actually had the video up on our website, ToddSterns.com.

But the whole stadium. starts chanting Cooper's name. And it was just an amazing, amazing event. And I want you to hear how all of this played out. I was at my meeting greet before the show.

And I'm better. A little boy named Cooper. We come all the way here. I'm doing. Just beat pants.

So, if he could sing his favorite song with me, Uber, how you doing? You hanging in there?

So, what we're going to do, Cooper, is we're going to sing the chorus of Fastcall one time. And all these beautiful people. But we're so happy that you can't for free. Can I get a half time on this? Come in.

They probably ain't gonna be able to hear us sing anyway because they're gonna be singing so loud.

So, I'm gonna help you. Jake, watch you counsel. I remember we were trying to. Yeah. Treating natural like I'm strong, see at the end of the home, and I'll head out to myself.

And I feel like every home I feel like need someone, need someone, be someone. He said he wants me to finish, he's gonna stay up here. Wow, then they all start chanting Cooper's name. And I mean, can you imagine the joy that Luke and the fans brought to that little boy? And what I find fascinating about this, Gray Speaker, and I know you now live north of the Mason-Dixon line in a place called Chicago.

Yes.

And it's sort of Yankee territory. But what I find fascinating is, and I wrote about this in my book, Our Daily Biscuit: Devotions With a Draw. That country is not a geographic location. It's a state of mind. That's fair.

And when you have to step back and remember: wait a second. That happened in Boston. Yeah. I mean country music fans by the thousands coming out Filling a stadium in Boston. And these are the shared values that we all have here.

And that's, again, going back to what we talked about at the beginning of the show, this is why I have hope in America. Because I think an overwhelming majority of us actually share the same value system. Agreed. Couldn't have put it better myself. I thank you, Grace Baker.

So that's why you and your husband need to move back down South. Ah, there it is. Every time I visit you guys, there's got to be he's pitching the South again. No, it's not me. It's the audience.

They want you here. They want you back in the South. That's just, you know.

Well, I'll tell you, I can have a glass of sweet tea anywhere and I say y'all still, so I know, but you don't say y'all here on the program. That's the problem. I don't Mm.

Well, you do, but you don't on a regular basis because you're in Chicago. Wow, I feel targeted. You should. Ever since I had the deep dish pizza. Oh, that's tragic.

You had to bring that up. That's not pizza. No, that's like lasagna. No, it's not. By the way, was Dylan getting a little misty there?

I thought I saw him, you know. Could have been the allergies. I think so. He said it's the allergies. I know the weather's been kind of freaky, but I don't know.

All right.

But again, ladies and gentlemen, this is. This is why I have hope. And I know that it gets crazy out there, and there's just a lot of nonsense in society and in the culture right now. But if we could get 50,000 people in a stadium in Boston and 50,000 in a stadium in Cincinnati. And get all the rest.

If we can take that energy and we can drive people to the ballot box, and we can go to our school board meetings, and we can. we can get engaged in the culture, then we're going to change the culture. Can you imagine what would happen if we started filling up our churches and our synagogues and we got out there and we really put into practice the teachings of the Holy Bible out there in society? We would solve the crime problem lickety split. That doesn't mean we're not going to have crime, but you'd still be able to go outside and fill up your gas tank and not worry about getting carjacked.

That's all I'm saying here.

So, anyway, this is good. That's all I'm trying to tell you. We are heading into a good spot in American history, and I want you to be encouraged. All right, we've got to scoot out of here. It's been a great day, everybody.
