Todd Starnes. All right. Hello, everybody. Welcome to a very busy day here at the Todd Starnes Radio Program. What an honor to have you with us.
And I want to update you on some developing news, some breaking news, coming out of Louisville, Kentucky. And earlier this morning, there was reports of an active shooter, a guy identified.
Well, they have yet to identify the person. I'll tell you more about him in just a moment. But there was a mass shooting. A guy goes into the old National Bank in downtown with a long gun. That's the only description of the weapon we have, a long gun, and opened fire.
We understand at least six people are dead. The number of injured now up to eight. The gunman is dead as well. It is believed that he took his own life, but we do not know that.
So they're still trying to figure that out. The police were there pretty quickly, and there was actually a gun battle, a raging gun battle in downtown. Two officers, at least two officers, were hit. One of the officers undergoing surgery, so we want to pray for that individual. We really want to pray for all the victims here, but it is pretty terrible.
Now, the police are confirming the guy did have connection at the bank. There is reporting on social media that this is a 25-year-old bank employee who threatened to go out with a bank. And this individual actually listed his pronouns in his social media platform.
So we don't know what that says about this individual, but this is one of those people who actually listed his pronouns, which is sort of weird. The mayor, police telling everybody, stay out of downtown Louisville. We've got video of the shooting as it happened over at ToddStearns.com. And if you want to check that out, you're not actually, you're going to hear it. You're not going to see a lot of, so it's not gruesome.
The video is what I'm trying to share with you. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear says he actually banks at that bank, and he knows some of the people who were killed. And you have to imagine these are just regular folks here. They're bank tellers. They're not making a lot of money, and they're just going to work, going about their business, and all of a sudden a coworker, a colleague comes in with a gun and just opens fire.
So we certainly want to pray for the good people of Louisville, Kentucky. Nobody wants to see that. It's funny. They've already got the whole, you know, the gun folks going nuts, the gun grab people. They're saying, we've got to get all the guns.
And then you've got other people out there saying, well, this is just what happens when you have the Second Amendment. This is to be expected.
Well, to hell with that. I don't think that's the way it should be. And the reality is it doesn't matter how many. You could have had everybody in that bank packing. but you know when somebody comes in and they're loaded with that much weaponry you're not going to have time to react i mean this is literally within a span of a couple of seconds everybody's shot so what are you going to do and and that's what some of the gun rights active act advocates are saying is hey you know what you just got to deal with it well i don't think so but the question is what do we do about it anyway it is what it is and it's sad so six dead and ultimately the person responsible not the gun it's the person pulling the trigger so was it a law-abiding gun owner we don't know we'll find we don't know we don't have a lot of information about all of that so we'll keep you updated on that story throughout the day 844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number.
That's 844-747-8868.
Now, we had a couple of interesting stories drop over the weekend, and we have them up on our website. And one of them involves the Catholic Church.
Now, when I was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, they came by and they said, hey, they're filling out on the information. They're like, all right, do you have a fever? Do you feel Do you feel okay? Do you feel suicidal? Is someone going to shoot you in your home?
These are all the questions they ask you. And then they get down and they ask you about how many guns do you own? Did you vote Republican or Democrat? And then they ask you, do you want to minister? And if so, if you answer yes, a chaplain, they have various and sundry.
If you're a Baptist, Presbyterian, Catholic, whatever, then they will send somebody by to visit with you and pray with you. And that's always an encouraging thing. I'm a Baptist, and so a Baptist minister came by to say, how do you do?
So they've been doing that at Walter Reed Medical Center for quite some time, and they have an agreement worked out with a local organization of priests through the archdiocese, and the whole point of this is to provide ministry for Catholic military veterans.
Now, you may or may not be a Catholic. It doesn't really matter. If you are a Catholic and you're in the hospital, you want a Catholic priest to come by and visit with you. If you're a Presbyterian, you would want a Presbyterian minister to come by and visit with you. That's just sort of a thing.
So anyway, this particular organization, the Holy Name College Friary, has been providing priests for nearly two decades. but just before Holy Week the Biden administration sent them a cease and desist letter I am not kidding folks this is literally a cease and desist order and they told the priest they would no longer be allowed to come on to the hospital property and provide ministry to any of the Catholic veterans on the premises that's it 844-747-8868 our toll-free telephone number that's 844-747-8868 it's incomprehensible that pastoral care would be taken away from the sick and the dying that's a statement from the Archbishop Timothy Roglio now the hospital says well this is all about being an affirming place No, it's not. It's about healing people, and it's about ministering to them. That's what it's about. And I would like to hear from the White House, and hopefully someone at the White House press briefing will ask the following question.
Why did a Catholic president banish Catholic priests from a military hospital just before Holy Week? Why did that happen? and by the way they've been declaring war this administration and obama's administration they have been declaring war on people of faith within the military for a decade at least so walter reed medical says hey look we're not we're not getting rid of the priest we're just going to be going with a government approved for-profit contractor what so don't be surprised if a guy knocks on your door and the hospital and he identifies himself as Father Ray Epps. Don't be surprised if the FBI guys wearing clerical collars are hearing your confessions. This is unbelievable.
Congresswoman Mary Miller out of Illinois condemned the president's decision. She says, priests and pastors guided our troops through the darkest days of our toughest battles. They were actually there on D-Day. she says the Biden administration chose Easter weekend to kick Catholic priests out of Walter Reed, violating their First Amendment right to free exercise of religion. The House will not allow this to stand.
Well, good for you. By the way, Senator Marco Rubio is just as outraged.
So look, as I said, I'm a Baptist. That is my religious background. And I am proud to stand alongside my Catholic friends as they're being targeted. And we've all got to stand together in situations like this. I appreciate the Catholics.
I appreciate what they've done for the issue of life. You would have hundreds of thousands of people marching in Washington, D.C., and until recently, it was predominantly Catholics. The Baptists, my denomination, we couldn't be bothered. I guess we were out trying to hire worship bands. But by golly, the Catholics were not afraid to get out there and show us the way to fight back.
And guess what happened? Finally, Baptist and everybody else figured it out, started marching alongside the Catholics, and we were able to get something done.
So when it comes to religious liberty in this country, we've got to stand together. And I hope that you're going to remember on Election Day that it was Catholic Joe Biden who denied hospitalized military vets access to Catholic priests during Holy Week. That is some kind of evil right there, folks.
Some kind of evil.
So while all that is going on, there's another story, and this one involves Transsecretary Booty Judge.
So Pete Booty Judge, in his capacity as Transportation Secretary, oversees the Merchant Marine Academy. There's been a massive painting there. This was painted years ago, 1944, and you might have heard of this. We have a picture of it on our website. They call it Christ on the Water, also known as Jesus and the Lifeboat.
So the painting is massive, 10 foot by 19 feet. It's Jesus watching over sailors lost at sea. And it's been hanging there for years.
Well, there's a group called the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. These people are just ruthless, and they get triggered by Christianity especially. and they demanded that booty judge remove the painting. They said a number of people complained. I'm calling BS on that.
That would be bull hockey. BH. The Department of Transportation oversees the Merchant Marine Academy. Mr. Mikey Weinstein, who runs the MRFF, says the outrageousness of that Jesus painting display is only further exacerbated by the fact this room is also used for honor code violation boards where midshipmen are literally fighting for their careers.
He goes on to say that that painting screams that Jesus is the only approved solution to all of life's difficulties.
okay he goes on to say we're not seeing Allah Buddha Satan or any of the other deities of other faith or non-faith traditions being remotely shown there under similar circumstances and that Mr. Weinstein is a very easy question for me to answer because you see sir in times of turmoil in times of troubles. I don't know too many Americans who are crying out to Lucifer or Oprah or Allah. But they are crying out to our Lord. As a matter of fact, they wrote a country music song, Jesus take the wheel.
Sir, Mr. Weinstein.
So what do they do?
Well, Well, Booty Judge, upon hearing that Jesus was in a painting at the Merchamurian Academy, gave instruction to have the painting covered in a white cloth. I'm surprised no one called to complain of the racist behavior there. I mean, using a white cloth. Oh, the horror. congressman jim banks is calling on booty judge to restore the painting to its original place he says covering the painting is not about constitutional issues it's just the latest example of the left's woke agenda and it's true by the way a lot of parents are very upset about the marine merchant marine academy they say it's gone completely woke they have some sort of a female chick lady that runs the joint now.
And she recently signed off on a gay pride exhibit on campus in a very prominent corridor.
So let's understand this.
So there's room for the gay pride display at the Merchant Marine Academy. That's okay. But a painting of our Lord is verboten. Yes, I said it, verboten. it.
Once again, and I wrote about this in my book, Culture Jihad, How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation. This kind of garbage would never have happened under President Trump, and it did not happen. As a matter of fact, Mr. Weinstein brags about having a red phone to the Pentagon where he can pick up the phone and he can call. By the way, let me just say this as the third example.
I nearly forgot the third example. Just a few days ago in Austin, Texas, at the VA Medical Center Clinic, they actually removed a cross from the wall because Mr. Weinstein and his group called to complain and threatened a lawsuit. Within 90 minutes, they took it down. He said he's got a red phone.
He can call the Pentagon and immediately have anything related to Jesus Christ removed from a military base. During the Trump administration, that phone was disconnected.
So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. You're not going to hear these stories in the national media, but you're going to hear them here because they're important. And I'm telling you that people of faith are coming under attack in this country. Brave fighting men and women are coming under attack in this nation because of their belief in our Lord. And the question is, what are we going to do about it?
Are you concerned about these attacks on the very heart of who we are as Americans? We've got to take a break. 844-747-8868. That is our toll-free telephone number, 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stern Show.

Just remember, it was the Obama administration that labeled American Family Association, Family Research Council as domestic hate groups.
So we're dealing now, ladies and gentlemen, truly with the third term of the Obama administration. That's what this is. And you better, look, the media is not going to cover this, which is why you need to be listening to this radio program, because we believe these are the most important issues. As, what is it, Andrew Breitbart said, politics is downstream from culture. And it's true.
Let's go to the phones. Memphis, Tennessee, KWAM, our flagship station there. Melissa on the line. Hi, Melissa. What's up?
Well, you know, I want to tell you for a long while I've been wondering, what is it about this gay movement that we have gay pride month? We only have one day for July 4th. Why is it that the rainbow flag is everywhere? Why is it, you know, why is it that if you're a female athletic person, such as a swimmer, and you say, I'm not going to compete against that transsexual man, that you get blackballed, basically. And I was wondering, what is it?
So anyway, I heard about this book by Jonathan Codd. You may have heard of it, The Return of the God. He goes, talks about Baal. We all know about Baal and Moloch, which, you know, of course, is abortion. But to me, the most eye-opening one was about Ishtar.
and she says she talks she says i'm the morning star and i'm the evening star me and he goes into detail about her sexuality you know promoting homosexuality all kinds of perverted things you know back in the 60s there was melissa this is this is jonathan kahn's book yeah and what's the return of the return of the god okay because we're running we're about to run out of time here, so I want to make sure we get the return of the gods.
Now, Melissa, here's my take, though. Here's my take. As long as, if you want to live your life under the United States Constitution, you're free to live your life however you want to live your life. The problem I have is when people come out and try to cram that agenda down my throat and tell me, no, you can't believe that way. You can't believe your Bible.
You can't go to church. That's when I draw the line. Melissa, God bless you, and I appreciate you calling in. I wish we had a few more seconds, but we do not. Folks, we've got to take a break.

Did you guys, did you all hear the news about the Clinesdale horses? Oh, this is really terrible.
So, Budweiser, you know, they have the, they've been facing this massive uproar. And there's a lot of controversy out there because they have brought on Dylan Mulvaney, the dude who thinks he's a woman, as their spokesperson. Spokes dude? He's not a spokes babe. He's a spokes dude.
Anyway, the rumors we're hearing, and again, we're working very hard to confirm this, is that apparently the Clinesdales are going to the biological horses may be replaced by gerbils who identify as horses.
So that. No, no, I don't know it. No, I can't reveal my sources. I'm just it's it's an unconfirmed report that Budweiser is about to replace the biological horses. the Clydesdales with gerbils that identify as horses.
I don't know. I mean, the gerbils are pretty strong, right? No, I don't know how many it would take to pull the carriage. I don't know. What, a couple of hundred?
You're going to need a lot of them. But what matters is tolerance, equity, and diversity. That's what matters.
So look, Budweiser, by the way, has canceled Clydesdale showings over what they call right-wing uproar. They were supposed to be in Springfield, Missouri, but they are canceling that because of the partnership and the backlash. And they're saying that their people are getting a lot of threats. We understand that a number of bars around the country have now decided they will no longer serve anheuser-busch products kid rock open fire on boxes of bud light and even john rich said nope that's it we're done not serving that kind of beer in his establishments so there you go and so now they're counseling all of these uh appearances of the of the clydesdale horses there you go um this news coming in nike very upset with you people they say that you need to be more tolerant and more accepting so nike is now using dylan mulvaney to promote female sports bras even though mulvaney has no boobs so this prompted fox news channel's julie banderas to make an observation about whether or not it's appropriate for a man to be modeling a women's sports bra. Cut number 14, please.
Why would Anissa Bush, why would Nike think this sells? I'm confused as to why any woman would look at a trans woman and say, oh yeah, I got to get that sports bra. I don't understand. I mean, for branding purposes alone, you are trying to sell. Isn't that what this business is all about?
So as a woman, I'm going to tell you a little secret. I have boobs and I wear sports bras and sports bras control our bodies when we go running. But women who are trans are not my body. I'm not going to buy something off of a man who is now trans woman based on the fact that she happens to enjoy sports bra when she doesn't have the same body parts. It just doesn't make any sense.
Right. And plus, are we out of women? Is Mia Hamm busy? Wasn't she in the Nike outlet? But what about this?
Is this about tolerance, Jeremy? I think a lot of it is virtue signaling. I mean, a lot of these corporations, they just want to look, oh, we're so progressive, we're so forward on these issues. But really, it's just about trying to send this signal that, you know, well, Nike is cool, too. You keep with us.
But I think the outrage has been really interesting to watch because a lot of times when people, especially conservatives, respond to what's going on, sometimes, you know, we talk about it, but you don't actually see the follow through. I've been very impressed. that people are saying, look, I'm not buying any of these Bud Light products anymore and are actually standing by that. And ultimately, that's all that Nike will listen to. And I just want to say, I don't believe that the critics are all just because they're anti-trans.
It's not that. It's not about anti-trans. And I want to make that very perfectly clear. This is about men and women. And women's sportswear are made for women.
No, stop. Just stop. Folks, you can't have it both ways. There's no such thing as transgenderism. God made male.
God made female. That's it. All right. And it just bothers me when you have, look, Julie Banderas is making a very valid point, but then she blows it all up by saying, but you know, you know, this is nothing against transgender people. Yes, it is, Julie.
So there you go. And by the way, yes, Dylan Mulvaney is a boob, but he does not have boobs. There is a difference. No, we're not going to talk about boobage. I'm just telling you, this is a fact.
Meanwhile, you got Riley Gaines. And by the way, I'm curious, are any of you boycotting these products? I mean, their stock, Anheuser-Busch stock is taking a tumble. 844-747-8868. Ladies, would you go out and buy a product, a ladies product?
And let's, for example, I think Mulvaney is, he's also hawking some lady products. I don't want to, it's the lunch hour, so I don't want to jump into that. But anyway, he's hawking. Would you buy these products? If there's a transgender spokesperson and they're trying to sell you lady products or ladies things, ladies, does that entice you to go and buy this stuff?
844-747-8868. That's 844-747-8868.
Meanwhile, you got poor Riley Gaines, who was brutally attacked by some dude in a dress over at San Francisco State University. She was giving a speech from Turning Point USA.
So the cops have to rush her into this room, this rampaging mob. You got the man dressed and wearing a dress trying to physically assault, and he did attack Riley Gaines. You've got the rest of the mob, and I don't know what they were. They would have torn her apart. I mean, these transgender activists are very evil people and very dangerous, violent people.
So after all the melee, and we've got the video up on ToddSterns.com, after all of that, the San Francisco Police Department comes out over the weekend and says, yeah, we didn't see anything wrong here. As a matter of fact, the San Francisco Police Department said that they saw no crimes committed, so nobody got arrested. You have a young lady who was literally beaten up by a man. And what happened? Absolutely nothing.
Absolutely nothing. Here's Riley Gaines, cut number 13. Will you be pursuing legal charges against these folks? This university didn't protect you. These folks physically harassed you.
What's next for you? Will you be seeking justice in a courtroom? I will. I was held against my will for three hours. They were demanding money from me if I wanted to make it home safely.
That is extortion. That is kidnapping. That is holding someone for ransom. And it was baffling that the police were not able to, in this three hours, allow me to safely exit the building. It was baffling that the dean of students was there and did nothing.
I will be pursuing legal action Well good for you And I hope she does She needs to sue the school And quite frankly This is where Republicans On Capitol Hill Need to get involved And they need to send a letter to San Francisco State University And it a very simple letter You either going to defend free speech or we going to yank your funding You get to choose. Your choice. You get to choose. Unbelievable. 844-747-8868 is our toll-free telephone number.
Let's go to Christine in North Carolina, listening to us on WHKP. Hi, Christine. What's on your mind? Hello, Todd. I'd like to weigh in on buying women's apparel off of a transgender male.
Not no, but heck no.
So that's a big turnoff for you. That's ludicrous. Just like everything that they're trying to do is ludicrous. why would a female want to buy something that's on a man's upper body well it's a fair question it's a fair question christine and and the interesting thing this kind of stuff is happening all over the place it's not just the big cities anymore it's happening in a lot of small towns as well i know it's just you know it's okay if that's they want to pretend to be whomever they want to pretend well then i'm going to pretend too with that i'm not going to accept it i don't i can pretend not to accept it too these people are crazy yeah it's it's absolutely insane christine we got you down appreciate your thought and your comment and thank you for listening to us we appreciate all of our great listeners at whkp 844-747-8868 our toll-free telephone number that's 844-747-8868. And now you have San Francisco State University employees who are defending the transgender mob.
It's unbelievable. One professor, Jamila Bohr, in an email to students said, thank you to our students who participated peacefully in Thursday evening's event. It took tremendous bravery to stand in a challenging space. There was nothing peaceful about that. There was nothing peaceful.
This rampaging mob trying to clash with police, trying to tear Riley Gaines from limb to limb. There's nothing peaceful about that. Unbelievable. By the way, Jamila Moore is the vice president for student affairs and enrollment management.
So this is a university official who is giving the wink and the nod to violence against biological women. And it's just not right. All right, we've got to take a break. We're going to go to the phones when we come back. 844-747-8868.
This is the Todd Stern Show. A good time starts with a great wardrobe.

All right, I know there are people out there. Stards is just yanking our chain here. There's no way. There's no way a man can use tampons. That's impossible.
That's not biology. He's making it up.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, this is the voice of Dylan Mulvaney, Hawk and the Tampax. About the prospect of me doing a tampon partnership. I mean, it made the news. And then the tampon brands, they got real quiet. And that's okay.
Today, I'm going to go hand out all of these extra tampons I have left so that no one can call me a tampon hoarder. To the life of me, I cannot understand why the National Organization of Gals, also known as NAG, has not responded to this. This is just outrageous. It's just nuts. All right, let's go to the phones.
Tim in Georgia on our great station in Cleveland, WRWH. Hi, Tim. What's on your mind today?
Well, I think sure enough what you're just talking about, but I got a question, Todd, that maybe you can help me with. What I want to do is I want to identify as a 70-year-old man and go ahead and retire.
Now, Tim, what is your age in real life? 57 57 all right 57 i think this is doable tim so so you're saying you want to go down to social security office and say hey i'm 70 years old i'm ready to retire give me my money yes sir i like this i like now a couple of things and maybe some of our 70 year old listeners can call in and give us some advice here tim i know you probably what time do you normally eat dinner your your evening meal seven okay yeah we gotta we it's got to be at least four four thirty down at the waffle house or the bob evans so you got to go to the early bird special if you're gonna if you're gonna be able to truly identify because they're gonna check into this stuff you know how the government is so right and i've already i've already talked to some of the people there excuse me and i believe they're on board at the huddle house and uh burger king oh you know what Best huddle house in America right there in Cleveland, Georgia. I've been there.
So good. All you need is somebody to verify that you're there for the early bird special. Right, right. I know the manager. I think everything is good there.
I was just looking for some guidance on, you know, which way I need to go with this and go ahead and get it done. I like this idea. Tim, we're going to open this up to our listeners because we want to help you out. I think this is a noble thing, and look, it's America. And if you want to identify as a potted plant, you can do it in this country.
And so I'm excited because this should be an easy fix here to just, again, self-identify as a 70-year-old. That's right. How's your fiber intake? You might need to get some Metamucil. That might be.
I do have Metamucil just in case. It's in my bag. Yes, sir. I love it. Yes, sir.
It depends. That depends. But, you know, the Metamucil is good. Tim, I'm excited. All right, you keep listening and keep us updated on your transition to senior citizen status.
Thanks for calling. Wow. I love you guys. This is brilliant.
So Tim needs some help. He's 57, and he wants to identify as a 70-year-old. Are there some suggestions? I wonder if Tim has hollered at kids to get off his lawn. You know, if we can get that on video, that would go far, I think.
So if you have some suggestions, give us a call, 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free number. Let's go to Arkansas. Steve listening to us on KWAM. Hi, Steve.
What's on your mind? Hey, Todd. I want to throw something out for people to think about. A lot of people may think I'm just going way out in left field on this, but everybody just keeps talking about all this transgenic stuff and everything being so crazy. There's one logical thing that makes sense to me as somebody that's dealt with cattle and horses all my life.
All these things that the left is doing, all their policies, I can give you a direct logical link to it's a form of herd management. And cattle farmers and horse people especially, they castrate probably over 95% of the male horses and cattle born. The reason they do that is to make them more manageable. It's hard to manage an adult male species of any kind. But all this stuff, especially going after the children, and when you want to castrate these animals, stock animals for management, is when they're children, when they're young.
If you wait until they're grown, you do not change their behavior much. You may make them sterile, but you don't change their behavior that much. This is a behavior thing, in my opinion, and it's herd management. It is not government for a civilized people. They're trying to manage us like a herd of cattle.
So you think this is about population control, Steve? Population control? All that stuff is tools that are used in herd management.
Well, keep in mind the reason why we're facing massive shortfalls in Social Security, for example, is that the country is just not reproducing. I mean, people are just not having kids anymore, and now you've got the baby boomer generation, which is massive, and the current population can't sustain those numbers. i agree but if they're in gold which i think it is a fair and goal is to to live to put the whole world in some type of socialist society where only a small percentage of us actually has a job and the rest are just being have to be managed well all right you're gonna have to use hard management all right steve we gotta we gotta wrap it up here so that is a very interesting thought because certainly people just aren't reproducing like they used to. We're not having babies like we used to. We're not birthing the babies like we used to.

JCPenney. Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, It's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starnes. That's us. That's right. I love this American ride.
All right. Well, hello, America. Welcome to the Todd Starnes radio program. We're following this breaking news story out of Louisville, Kentucky. Just a terrible story.
And the media is already at it.
So do not be surprised if the mainstream media drops this story like a hot potato. And we've got a lot of information to share with you. Most of it confirmed, some of it not. And we'll let you know what is unconfirmed, but people are certainly talking about this on social media. We're being told that the gunman is, in fact, someone who had a connection to the bank.
That person's dead. And so we understand, what, five people dead, eight injured, eight others were shot at the old National Bank in downtown Louisville, Kentucky. At least two police officers are among those shot, one of the officers in surgery at this hour.
Now, the reporting is on social media that the individual, the gunman, is someone who is a Democrat, someone who has identified their preferred pronouns on their social media platforms. And so do not be surprised if the media decides to drop this story in the next little while. They always wait. And if the shooting fits their narrative, then they're going to go ahead and move forward. But if it doesn't, well, that's a problem.
And that's what we're looking at now.
So we will keep you updated on any sort of developments.
Well, what I find very interesting about this particular story, as the owner of a radio station, a news talk radio station, I am a member of the Radio and Television News Directors Association. And they do a lot of these workshops, these summits. And this organization, I think I'm the only conservative member of the organization. But the reason I'm a member is because there's a lot of basic, you know, business and industry stuff that they cover that, you know, is good, is important for me to be aware of. But they do, the entire organization is to the left on everything.
Now, here's the problem. The RTNDA, which is the Radio Television News Directors Association, They are one of the most powerful journalism organizations in the country. Everything you hear on your radio station, everything you see on your local and national news, is a result of what's coming out of this organization, which is why all of your local news is skewed to the left.
So the RTNDA recently held a crime summit, and they were talking about how journalists should cover crime, It ties into what's happening right now in Louisville because not all crimes are covered. I'll look, I'll tell you here in Memphis, Tennessee over the weekend, and we've got the video on Todd Stearns dot com. You have these mobs of young thugs and they're in their cars and they are doing they're literally in the middle of heavy traffic on huge roadways. And they're spinning out. They're doing donuts.
and one of the videos that was filmed over the weekend you got these kids motorists are scrambling for cover they're terrified they don't want to get hit but even more importantly they don't want to get shot because in the video we have and you can see this on our website you've got two of these thugs that are literally hanging out of it looks to be a dodge charger and they've got they've got AR-15s. This is in broad daylight in a major thoroughfare. And the funny thing is, this is not shocking to the people who live in Memphis because this is pretty much an everyday occurrence here. The crime in Memphis, and by the way, depending on which survey you're reading, we are either the first, second, or third most violent city in America. and the media refuses to cover this story and there's a reason why it doesn't fit it doesn't fit the rtnda's rules and regulations for covering crime news and they specifically say that one of the bigger problems is that people are focused too much on skin color well no no we're not but let me give you an example here and this is what they have a problem with.
Let's say that somebody goes out and they rob the Chick-fil-A, the official chicken of our Lord, and the bad guy is on the loose, and they're trying to catch this person.
Now, according to the RTNDA, you can release all the information you want about what the suspect is wearing, what kind of car the suspect is driving, all that kind of stuff, but you can't give us information on the color of the person's skin. I'll give you an example. This actually happened. Memphis police are searching for a suspect responsible for armed robberies. He was wearing white pants, a white shirt, and driving a white car.
That's it. So they can't tell you what color the person. And it seems to me, if you're looking for a bad guy, would you like, would you want to know if the person is black or white or Asian or Hispanic. It just seems to me that's right.
So they also say that crime coverage, it's focused too much on white people, that there's a white privilege problem when it comes to crime coverage in America. And I want you to listen. This is a snippet from this gathering, Cut 15. And so the first thing I see when it comes to making mistakes about crime, police, and race reporting is, one, we're still very centered in whiteness. We just kind of ignore it.
And here's where we get into this major problem, okay? Because it would already be bad enough if this was happening on the scale to all Americans, but we know that it's happening to a targeted set. And so when we go out here and we ignore this problem, right, any of our stories, if this is not front and center, at the very least, right, you are white-centric because you're ignoring the voices and the damages of other Americans in your country. And at the very worst, it's white supremacists because you're saying that the status quo is okay. We are journalists here, and I've been in so many of these panels where we talk about what's happening to essentially the people that look like me.
And we're sitting here, and I go and I turn on the TV, and we're talking about stories of how police are meeting with black fathers for donuts and coffee. as if a pastry can bridge the gap between policy and violence, right? They're like, we can't do anything about that, but we can give you a Dunkin' Donut. All right, so when you report, if that is not centered, right, in most of your crime reporting, you're already out the gate liable to start making mistakes through sheer ignorance, right? There are black people, right, brown people, who have loved ones who've been killed, incarcerated, or simply terrorized by the criminal justice system.
Me as a black man, right? I think you guys hear knocks on your door at night and you're like, is that a burglar? I hear knocks on the door, I have to say, is that a burglar or is that a SWAT team who come here and kill me and nothing will happen? That is my reality. That is a terror that is often immeasured and not ever captured in news.
And I've done nothing wrong. I'm not a criminal or anything. But that's a fear that we have to walk with. And so this guy's a black dude. And so he was sharing his experience, which is a load of malarkey.
Now, let me give you an example. He's saying that, again, that police should be treated like terrorists.
Well, this is just nonsense. And here in Memphis, for example, we have hundreds, hundreds of people that get murdered every year. 99% of the people that get murdered in this city are black. 99% of the people responsible for killing those people are black.
So you have black-on-black crime. Nobody wants to talk about the victims of the crime.
Meanwhile, in Memphis, you've had one guy who was deliberately killed by police officers. One. All the rest of the hundreds of other cases. And by the way, those cops have been arrested and they've been charged with the crime. And if they're found guilty, they should suffer the stiffest penalty under the law.
Nobody's disputing that. But this idea that cops are the ones going out there terrorizing people, that is just simply a flat-out lie. But this is why you have the discrepancies in the media coverage. And I'll give you another example. Let's just say that you've got a bunch of white kids, and specifically white male teenagers, and they're going around and they're carjacking people and they're terrorizing people, right?
Okay? And they're doing this on a daily basis. The news reports on this story, and they say, hey, be on the lookout for these white teenage boys because they're out there and they're carjacking people. Is that profiling? Yes, of course it is.
People have given you a description of the bad guys who are committing the crimes. You want that information out there so that people can take measures to protect themselves. or better yet if they see the crime being committed they can call the police and they can arrest the bad guys but this idea coming from the rtnda that well you can't you can't you can't be talking about people's skin color now that is ludicrous ludicrous all right i got to talk about this before we go to break and we're going to get to your calls hang tight everybody this situation at the tennessee State Capitol with these three lawmakers, two black dudes and a white gal. And the two black guys got expelled because they broke the rules of decorum.
Now, there's a lot to unpack here because now these two guys have now become like the new Jesse Jackson and MLK. And they're the farthest thing from either. These are radical progressives. These guys, they have now labeled every Republican in the state of Tennessee as a racist, a white supremacist. And one of the guys was invited to preach at a woke church here in the Memphis area.
And this guy is just, he's insane. Just absolutely insane. I want to play some audio here. First of all, this is Representative Justin Jones talking about white supremacy in the state capitol. Cut three.
What's your reaction to what you just heard, Mr. Jones? And how significant was it to have a white colleague in this fight? One of the things that I spoke to her about and you and I have talked on my phone is how this is interracial and intergenerational, this fight that has rallied around what has happened in Tennessee. definitely i mean we are building a multi-racial fusion movement we're in the midst of a third reconstruction here in tennessee that hopefully will have national implications but what it means is that um this white supremacist system being led by speaker cameron sexton um it's an attempt to divide and conquer us but in reality you see we the tennessee three we continue to stand together because this though their vote was racist though their vote was to expel the two youngest black lawmakers their attack on democracy hurts all of us whether you're black brown or white it is an assault on all of us and so that's the thing is that when we were expelled there were thousands of people from all across the state from rural counties and urban counties black and white of all ages standing at that capitol saying we will not allow this to happen in the comfort of silence but our democracy is too important to let them pass this extreme measure that's going to have you know set a precedent for the future and harm us all and so having sister glory there she's always stood with us when i was an activist fighting in 2020 sleeping outside that capitol Gloria was one of the few representatives to come stand with us.
And she stood with us on that house floor that day. We stood to protest the lives of our young people who are being terrorized by these weapons of war on our street. She's calling for an end to this proliferation of guns in a state that seems to worship guns over the lives of these babies. And so we stand with Sister Gloria. We stand united.
And no type of system of divide and conquer will work anymore because the people are awakened. And like I said, we are resurrecting a reconstruction right here in Nashville. And it's not stopping. All right, so this is a bad dude, and I want to give you some background. They're not going to tell you about this because this guy has become— they literally both are calling themselves Jesus Christ.
That's how they are referring to themselves, as deities. And the mainstream media has eaten this stuff up, and they're basically trying to create a race war in Tennessee.
So Justin Jones here. This guy was arrested in 2018 for refusing to leave a rally by Marsha Blackburn. He was disrupting the rally. In 2019, he was arrested and charged for assaulting a state representative, a Republican, threw some sort of a hot drink at the state rep, and he was arrested. He was also banned from the state capitol.
The good and decent Republican, who I think is now facing charges on an unrelated matter, but at the time agreed to drop the charges. then in 2020 jones organized a 62-day sit-in outside the state capitol after the murder of george floyd he was arrested faced 14 charges which were all dropped and then he got himself elected in 2023 this guy is 27 years old i think the other one is 25 or 26 years old Now, I want you to hear me on this. Nobody else is talking about this angle. These two guys are the first generation of American lawmakers who grew up under critical race theory. These guys were literally indoctrinated in their public schools to believe they have been oppressed.
And the white man is the oppressor. And that's what's playing out here. This is critical race theory being played out in real life. And nobody wants to talk about that. This is a very dangerous thing because there are more lawmakers like these two coming up through the ranks.
And even veteran black lawmakers are very frustrated. They're not going to go public, but I've spoken to some privately, and they are very concerned about the radicalization of these younger members coming up through the ranks. But what you are seeing here, ladies and gentlemen, is nothing more than critical race theory being played out in the public marketplace. And that is only going to get worse. We've got to take a break here.

All right, so Kamala's here, Vice President Ventiagram. She was in Memphis, or rather Nashville. You know, this is interesting.
So over the weekend, Kamala came to Nashville to meet with the Tennessee Three. Joe Biden did a Zoom meeting with the Tennessee Three. You know, Biden has never actually reached out to the true victims here, the families of the dead at the Nashville Covenant School. Isn't that interesting? Kamala Harris has never actually reached out to the victims' families of the Christian school shooting.
She was boots on the ground in Nashville, could have taken some time, but didn't do it. Because ultimately, this is no longer about the children, the dead kids. This is about advancing a race narrative. Oh, by the way, one of the state reps, Justin Jones, ran into Joan Baez at Memphis International Airport. This is bizarre.
Take a listen to what happened. Cut to. We shall overcome. We shall overcome. We shall overcome someday.
Oh, deep in my heart, I know that I do believe. We shall overcome someday. By the way, all three were on Good Morning America, and they're just eating this up because, again, this is a national narrative that's been formed. Eric Holder, the former AG, writing a letter to the Tennessee House Speaker, threatening him, threatening him if they do not seat, reseat these two lawmakers. I have a question for you.
If it's okay for the black lawmakers to actually stand up with megaphones and interrupt white lawmakers is it therefore okay for the white lawmakers to use bullhorns to interrupt the black lawmakers Is that racist This is the Todd Starnes Show We are family. A good time starts with a great wardrobe.

All right, big, big UFC match over the weekend. Did anybody watch that? I know it was on pay-per-view. I missed it. But it was a pretty good match.
What was interesting, though, is who was in the audience. President Trump was there sitting ringside. And when he came in, it was just insane. the event held in Miami and the crowd went absolutely bonkers I want you to listen to some audio as Jorge Masvidal was he did not win but he gave a shout out to President Trump and started a chant and I believe we had to bleep some of this but let's take a listen and it's been an honor to call your fights I'm a huge fan and I appreciate everything you've done also I want to say greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there I love that guy we also got the greatest governor of all time here in Florida let's keep Florida free Orestes and let's take that you know who let's go Brandon out of power and replace him let's go Brandon let's go Brandon I'm out y'all All right, there you go. Let's go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.
Trish Regan, host of the Trish Regan Show, joins us. Hey, Trish, how are you today? Hey, I am so good. That was, yeah, that was quite something to see. You know, you have to go back and listen.
But when you compare the roar of the crowd when he mentioned Trump to when he mentioned Ron DeSantis, there was a little bit of discrepancy there in Miami of all places. Yeah, I don't think that, you know, I'm just going to say this. Listen, I am sure Ron DeSantis is a really, really smart guy. I don't always think he acts that smart. I do think he has tried to mirror himself in this image of Trump, which I'm just going to tell you, whether you love him or hate him, there is only one Donald Trump.
And you cannot replicate that. He has a certain je ne sais quoi. Again, and I like the guy, I like his policy, but I realize not everyone does.
So that aside, he cannot be replicated. And I think that Ron DeSantis is over and over again making that mistake of trying to be Donald Trump's 2.0. And it's just not going to work. You know, even Reagan was Reagan, right? All of these guys, Obama, and I am no fan of President Obama, but Obama was Obama.
You just can't just come out and say, I'm going to be somebody else. And I think that Americans, like they smell that lack, I call it a lack of authenticity. And they're smelling that with Ron DeSantis right now. He would be so much better off hitting on some of the economic issues, hitting on what he's done for Florida. I think Americans don't fully trust him.
So that does not surprise me. He also just, frankly, does not have anywhere near the name recognition, right? I mean, that's just reality.
So I think I'm answering a question that you didn't even ask, Todd. But I'm betting that if a race were held today, Donald Trump would be the nominee for the Republican Party. not Ron DeSantis. Yeah, I'm with you on that, Trish, and I like DeSantis. I mean, the guy's got all the – he checks off a lot of the boxes.
I think he's really getting bad advice from his handlers. He's smart to wait. Yeah. I mean, why even take that risk? Because that base is so strong for Donald Trump.
So you're going to get, you know, chewed up, spit out in the process. If I were Ron DeSantis, I would say, okay, let me watch this, see what happens. And okay, it's not 2024, but it's going to be 2028. He may be reluctant. He may be fearful.
Don't forget, Christie had an opportunity ahead of 2016.
So what, 2012? He probably could have done a lot more if he had gotten in there then.
So he's probably fearful of missing his moment. But I don't think there's a moment here because I think that anyway, you slice this, Donald Trump is going to be way far out in front. for the Republican Party. And he does have a legitimate out. I mean, he said, look, I ran to be governor for four years.
I'm going to serve out my term. And you know what? It falls in the middle of an election, but I gave you my word. I'm going to be your governor. And I think people would respect that.
And it would give him more time to get himself established and get this all figured out. Yeah. And to get more name recognition, right? Because, yes, of course, we know him and he's gotten a lot of publicity, but he's not going to be able to take on, I don't believe Donald Trump, if Donald Trump really wants this.
So I think that he'd be smart to just say, okay, I'm here in support of and see what happens. And then 28, you know, it's up for grabs. I imagine Cruz will be there in 28 as well. I think Cruz will probably sit this out and try and keep that base on his side. Trish we've been following another interesting story Riley Gaines who's really made a name for herself after that horrible situation at the NCAA Swimming Championships she tied for third place with Leah Thomas he got the trophy she got a handshake and now she's become this spokesperson defending biological women and the attacks that are being directed at her are just insane She was robbed.
I mean, all women were robbed. I'm sorry. Like, I'm a pretty generous person who's libertarian in spirit, but this is just positively absolutely ridiculous. And the fact that we've gotten so far down this path where we're calling people they, I mean, give me a break. This, I mark my words, this is where the left will lose.
lose because I've got a lot of Democrat friends and every single very, very liberal friends. But when you really push them on this, they're like, yeah, this is crazy. I mean, it's absolutely positively crazy.
So right again, good for her. You know, she's taken on a lot there and it's not easy. The poor woman was punched in the face. She was held up for three hours at San Francisco State University. She couldn't come out because she was in jeopardy.
I mean, what kind of crazy world do We live in, Todd, where men dressed as women can now attack verbally and assault, according to her, a woman. I mean, this is so bonkers.
Okay, this just gets me mad. I mean, you've got Dylan Mulvaney modeling a sports bra. Let me tell you, as a woman, he clearly hasn't finished the transition because, you know, I don't think he's going to be able to fill out, shall we say, that sports bra. He's not exactly Dolly Parton. No.
And you know what? It's not easy for Dolly Parton to play sports, okay? You've got some other things going on. And so it's really just making a mockery of women's bodies. Truthfully, you're a young girl running a race.
It's very different than Dylan Mulvaney running a race because you do have other things to contain. You need a sports bra for a reason. He doesn't need a sports bra. But now we're going to sit there and say this is the one who's going to model the sports bra? Are you kidding me?
I thought, Trisha Regan, that our former colleague at Fox News, Julie Banderas, really summed this up succinctly. Let's play cut number 14, please. Why would Anissa Bush, why would Nike think this sells? I'm confused as to why any woman would look at a trans woman and say, oh, yeah, I got to get that sports bra. I don't understand.
I mean, for branding purposes alone, you are trying to sell. Isn't that what this business is all about?
Right. So as a woman, I'm going to tell you a little secret. I have boobs. and I wear sports bras. And sports bras control our bodies when we go running.
But women who are trans are not my body. I'm not going to buy something off of a man who is now trans woman based on the fact that she happens to enjoy sports bra when she doesn't have the same body parts. It just doesn't make any sense. Right. It doesn't make any sense.
So we had a woman who's making a hand busy. Stop, please. Thank you. All right. There you go, Trish Regan.
Totally. I mean, that was my point exactly. And listen, I'll also say that, you know, it's just, It's something to get used to. Like when you're a young woman becoming a teenager, all of these things, all of a sudden you get different body parts. Yes, you need the sports bra.
Believe me, you always need the sports bra. Dylan Mulvaney does not have the body parts, the boobs to merit the sports bra. And so it's just kind of a slap in the face. I'm like, Nike, please. I mean, we're so sick of this signaling, this woke signaling.
You know, we've got the memo. We've got the memo.
Well, you know what? You made it. They lost me. nike has totally lost me and you know what i never drank bud light anyway because it's positively disgusting i'm more of a champagne girl myself what can i say but i you know no way i mean i went to a restaurant over the weekend and and they were rattling off the beers and i'm like glad to hear there's no bud light yeah as a matter of fact they're gonna lose a lot of customers so look trish this is fascinating because bud light is actually defending all of this and And their VP for marketing, her name is Alyssa Heinerscheid. And I want to play some audio.
Now, this interview happened before all the Dylan Mulvaney controversy. But this gives us a good insight into what's going on over at Anheuser-Busch. Cut number 10. I'm a businesswoman. I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light.
And it was, this brand is in decline. It's been in decline for a really long time. and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand, there will be no future for Bud Light.
So I had this super clear mandate. It's like we need to evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand. And what I brought to that was a belief in, okay, what does evolve and elevate mean? It means inclusivity. It means shifting the tone.
It means having a campaign that's truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and to men. And representation is sort of the heart of evolution. You've got to see people who reflect you in the work. And we had this hangover. I mean, Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out-of-touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach.
So much for the Clydesdales, Trish. I think they're getting the heave home. But that gives you an idea of the thinking. No, I mean, this is the – but you know what part of this is, of course. Let's go back to Larry Fink and BlackRock, which controls basically all the investing you can see from, you know, here to Sunday.
I mean, they control most of what your money goes into, which, you know, some states like Florida have fought back against this, and it's really smart. Ron DeSantis should continue that campaign. Anyway, because of that, all of these companies have to follow these ESD mandates, and you get points for your inclusivity and your diversity and, you know, whatever you do marketing-wise for that.
So how stupid is this? They're out there trying to get points so that maybe Larry thinks BlackRock will invest more with their companies, all the pensions that they represent. They'll invest more instead of actually just doing something pretty simple, which is called increasing sales. Nobody cares about actual sales. They just care about, do you have the right kind of ESG score?
This is how upside down the world is. And I'll tell you, there's a real danger to this. And Camille Paglia, who's a very noted feminist, leftist feminist academic, has spoken at length about this. As far back as 2016, I watched a presentation that she did, and she said, look, it kind of marks the end of a society, the end of a country's triumph, the end of a certain kind of civilization, when you start seeing such a feminization of men. Think about that, because that's what's going on.
And she actually compared it to ancient Greece, and you had these robust, you know, statues of men with muscles, and they looked strong. And then by the end of, you know, sort of the decline of ancient Greece, you had very sort of limp, very feminine looking men in these statues. And I thought, wow, That's a pretty interesting take on things. Look, I don't think you need to reinvent the wheel here. Men are men.
Women are women. They're attracted to each other for those reasons. When you start trying to say, okay, this guy is a girl.
Now I'm going to go drink Bud Light. I'll tell you, you're going to get rid of the whole male audience, and you just totally disenfranchised your female audience as well, who's like, whatever. By the way, have you noticed how Dylan is more feminine than a lot of the women that they hold up on? And, I mean, he's wearing skirts and pearls and cute little outfits, but most of the women that the left holds up as examples are hardly what you would call very feminine. It's a very weird, twisted thing.
It's a mockery. It's a mockery of women, stereotyping women. That's what that is. And, Trish, to your point, not only Greece, ancient Greece, throw in the fall of the Roman Empire to that, and I think we have some lessons that we can learn, we can glean from history.
So, Trish, we got to wrap it there. We are running super late for a break. TrishReganShow.com is the website. That's TrishReganShow.com. Great stuff today, Trish.
Got to get you back soon. Thanks so much, Todd. All right. Great lady right there. Award-winning journalist, by the way, and one of the top financial minds in America.

They're the ones that are saying, if you do not support our agenda, we are going to destroy you.
A lot of these companies are just flat out terrified. You got to stand up to the bullies. Look, folks, after the the indictment, a big media spin is all against Trump. No surprise there. But one cable news channel is leading the way in real news.
that's Newsmax. I watch it all the time. Newsmax is polling Americans and they want to poll our audience. They want to know if the Trump indictment is for a real crime or just politics. And they also want to know if you still support President Trump for the White House in 2024.
You can vote right now. Text the word skip to 39747. That's skip to 39747. It literally takes a minute. And then you got to watch Newsmax.

You can pay in installments. And a lot of people are wondering about the COVID. You do not need a vaccine to go on this trip.
So just want to share those two bits of information. Any other questions you might have, we try to answer those for you over on the website. All right. So Joe Biden overseeing the White House Easter egg roll today. and the president said something about Easter.
And I want to read this to you because I'm not quite sure the president, who says he's a Catholic, actually understands what Easter is really all about.
So he says, Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. Easter is a season of joy, a time of rebirth, renewal, faith, hope, and love, a time to remember that in the beauty of spring, the seeds of new opportunity are planted. And this spring, our future is filled with unlimited possibilities that multiply and grow because of all the good people here and throughout the country. Yeah, that's not what Easter is about, Mr. President.
Easter is about the crucifixion, the death, and then the resurrection of Jesus Christ. and if I might be so bold as to punctuate that with a period. That's it, Mr. President. That's what Easter is about.
It's not about planting azalea bushes. It's not about the daffodils and the lilacs. It's about the birth. It's about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's about the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of our Lord.
That's what Easter is about. And I don't know why these Democrat presidents have such a difficult time understanding the reason for the Christian holidays. They get it spot on when they're talking about the muscle holidays. I mean, spot on accurate. But when it comes to the Christian holidays, well, they completely botch it every single time.
All right, we got to take a break here. We're going to the phones when we come back. 844-747-8868. That is our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868.

Well, hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Todd Starnes radio program. Very happy to have you with us today. And we've got a lot going on this hour of the program. I want to share some info from our good friend, Congressman Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and by the way, he will be on the program tomorrow to talk about this very disturbing information involving the Catholic Church.
And new documents that Jim Jordan has been made aware of reveal the FBI tried to develop sources inside local Catholic churches. Remember back around 9-11 when the FBI was trying to infiltrate the mosques, to root out the terrorists.
Well, that's what the Biden administration is doing with the Catholics. Jim Jordan revealing the FBI-reliated information derived from at least one undercover employee who sought to use local religious groups as new avenues for tripwire and source development. The proposed outreach plan included contacting mainline Catholic parishes and local diocese in leadership. And the document reveals the FBI also expressed interest in leveraging existing sources to report on suspicious activity. What kind of suspicious activity within the Catholic Church?
This is bonkers. But I guess it now makes sense as to why they decided to evict the Catholic priest from Walter Reed Medical Center right before Holy Week. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, good friend of this program. You see him all the time on Newsmax. Hogan Gidley, who is also the senior advisor for comms over at America First Policy Institute.
Hogan, good to have you with us today. Great to be with you, Todd. Thanks so much for having me. You know, this latest information coming from Jim Jordan, and we're going to have him on the show tomorrow to talk about this, incredibly disturbing that the administration now appears to be, they consider Catholics to be enemies of the state. where's nancy pelosi on this by the way isn't she a quote-unquote good catholic where's joe biden the president of the united states on this isn't he quote-unquote a good catholic wouldn't he be trying to get to the bottom of the fact that a three-letter agency is again trying to weaponize its power to go after a particular religion to go after people in this country the way that it has unlawfully unconstitutionally and i would argue something in a way that's un-American.
This is the type of thing that you've seen with the weaponization of government that has been on the steady increase, really, for years in this country, but definitely after 2016 and Donald Trump's election. They were so angry at the thought that their power and that their feafdom would be taken away from them that they decided to go after people who dared threaten that gaining and maintaining of power. And, you know, I hear people say it all the time that, you know, if they'll go after Trump, they'll go after us. They're already going after us. And this particular instance is another example of a way where they're going after an entire denomination.
You know, to try and get rid of a Catholic priest from Walter Reed, deny that access to wounded veterans is unbelievable, unconscionable. And I, quite frankly, head should roll and the administration should answer. Yeah, this is just mind boggling. And again, all of this information coming out of the Richmond office, so our listeners on WRVA there in Richmond, what a horrible thing to imagine that the FBI may have infiltrated your church. And apparently they're being triggered by, one of the concerns is these masses that are being held in Latin, Hogan.
It's almost laughable, but we're talking about the largest denomination in the country. I mean, the Catholic Church, this is massive. And, of course, we know they've also been going after Southern Baptist and other denominations. But it's clear to me this is a continuation of a policy that was started under Barack Obama, interrupted by Donald Trump, and now has been reinvigorated again to shut down the Christians. Right.
But a couple reasons.
Well, first of all, you have to ask yourself why that is. And in large measure, it's the churches that believe the Bible as the inerrant, inspired, infallible word of the Lord that stand against so much of this woke nonsense, who stands up for truth regarding transgender issues. and all the things that the left are pushing that are in vogue in their particular party are all the things that truth that God really stands against. And remember during COVID, you got to keep the liquor stores open, but let's make sure we shut down the churches. It was an attempt to disassociate families with a common denominator of church, a common denominator of Scripture and of Christ.
They don't want us reading truth because they want us believing their lies. And this is another example of that, and it's really scary when you think about it. They know if they can remove church, if they can remove Scripture from the public conversation and prevent more and more people from hearing the text of the Bible, then it makes their pathway to taking over this country a much easier road.
Well said. Hogan Gidley on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today. You know, Hogan, we've been following the developments with the transgender movement and these open attacks now on womanhood in America, and especially with these high-profile companies. And a lot of people don't realize that these high-profile companies are actually being blackmailed by Human Rights Campaign and lots of other groups saying, if you do not endorse our agenda, we will destroy you. We will boycott you.
We will come after you. And I'm wondering if any of these companies now regret bowing down to them knowing that their stock prices are plummeting and people have just stopped buying their products. I think some are. And as you know, money talks. But this movement started with the acknowledgement segment, just know that we're here.
This is the way we are. Don't worry about it. Then it was you have to accept us.
Now you have to accept what we do. And now it's an endorsement push. If you don't endorse us and you're not open about it, you're not vocal about it, then you're falling into the silence is violence crowd. And so, you know, you hear all the time Republicans say, go woke, go broke. Sadly, that's not always the case.
Some of these companies are paraded around as the paragons of virtue, even though they're not paying attention to their stockholders, they're paying attention to their stakeholders, just people that imbibe and bud light, for example. they're going to try and say, look at us, look at this company, look how great we are, look how woke we are with what we're doing. Just market beer for beer. If you want to drink it, you want to drink it. If you don't, you don't.
And I think that's why you're seeing a rejection of the product itself or repudiation of the marketing behind it. Because we all know that this thought process and mentality is senseless. It's not rooted in truth. It's not reality. and then you're trying to take over all of our brands as well, all over our products too, and it's a very odd place for them to be in, and I'm still confused as to why they would even think about doing something.
It makes no sense at all, and I find it fascinating to see the L's, the G's, and the B's are really getting ready to divorce the rest of that alphabet because they say, you know what, we just want to be left alone. We want to live our lives. We don't endorse any of this kind of stuff. That's how radicalized things have gotten. And people, to your point, are just terrified.
But you know what, Hogan? Like you said, we've got to stand up to the bullies, and we've got to push back. You have to. And I've long said, if you got rid of every Donald Trump policy and every executive order and wiped him off the face of the map, one thing he did kind of instill in all of us that I think carries through to today and has gotten better and stronger is you should fight back when you see an injustice. You should fight back against what you know to be falsehoods, what you know to be lies, and it's okay.
Don't ever expect the media. Don't ever expect the elite the colleges and universities the Hollywoods to stand up with you because they not going to And don try to soften your stance to get in their good graces because that never going to happen either You should stand up for what right voice it loudly and just say no more We just not going to play this game anymore And I think people are starting to do that. And you saw cracks in the dam with CRT because of COVID and people had to watch what their kids were being taught in school. And parents are getting involved at the local level. This is permeating into election integrity.
It's permeating into preventing our kids from being trans behind our back when teachers do it and don't tell parents about it. It's this whole marketing scheme with Jack Daniels and with Bud Light and Nike and Tampax and everything else. The whole thing is ridiculous on its face. And finally, people are starting to stand up and say, this is just insane. And we just have to reject it.
Hopefully that catches on even more. But I do think it is starting to grow right now, the movement to stand up for truth.
Well said. All right, Hogan, we've got to leave it there. Always good hearing from you. Anytime. Thanks so much, Todd.
You have a great day. All right, you tune out. Hogan Gidley, everybody, from Newsmax TV, our great friends over there. We've got to take a break. 844-747-8868.

In my RV. Protect your baby with an RV policy from Progressive. Take as little as four minutes to see what you could save at Progressive.com. Progressive Casualty Insurance Company and Affiliates. All right, what's up with the Dalai Lama?
You guys hear this story? This is weird, man. Real weird.
So a video clip circulating. And the Dalai Lama was chanting with a child. And I will do my best. I know it's the lunch hour, but this is just weird.
So the Dalai Lama was going to hug this child. And instead, by the way, the Dalai Lama, 87 years old, and the Dalai Lama invited the boy up on the platform and gestured for the boy to kiss him on his cheek, which the boy did. And then he was instructed to give the Dalai Lama a hug. and then the Dalai Lama asked the boy to kiss him on the lips and suck his tongue. Holy smokes.
And this was in front of a crowd of people. It's not like it was done at the back of whatever they call their church. It wasn't back in the parsonage. people in the crowd were laughing as the Dalai Lama told the young child to suck his tongue but now people are apparently very upset and the Dalai Lama is apologizing according to a statement from the Dalai Lama his holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way even in public and before cameras now I know the baptists we do do some you know pretty weird stuff, but I don't think that's ever happened in a church service before. I'm fairly certain of it.
All right, let's go to the phones. 844-747-8868. John in Kentucky. What's on your mind, John? Hold on a second.
I just lost my lunch on that.
Okay, never mind. Yeah. All the crazy dollies and their llamas.
Well, I'm sure they always go around saying, hello, dollies.
Sorry, bad joke.
Well, there you go. Yeah, well, first of all, I am so grateful and thankful to the Lord Jesus that you're okay.
Well, thank you, John. Appreciate that. You do not have permission to go anywhere unless God says so.
So there.
Okay, that's established. You know, Todd, I just told this to you, it's called a call screener, and he's really doing a great job. Give him a cookie. You know, it seems like right now we've seen, you know, like it's been really weighing on my heart. that it seems like we have Jezebel and Ahab-type leadership in the House.
I mean, in the White House. And it's like, you know, it's like the Lord's been declared on Christians. Hey, John, here's what I want you to do. I want you to hang on. We have got a very bad phone connection, so let's try to get that reestablished with John, if we could.
In the meantime, let's go to Victor in Maryland. And, Victor, I know you want to weigh in on another issue we talked about. What's going on, Victor? I'm surprised this is not front news history, but I was listening to another show this morning from Boston. Jeff Koerner talked about it.
A jury down in Alston, Texas, convicted a veteran, I think his name was Daniel Patterson, of murder because he defended himself and shot a Black Lives Matter demonstrator or thug that was on top of his car. And he shot through the windshield to protect himself. He was trapped. He couldn't go forward or backwards. The only thing he could do was shoot.
And would you believe when Jeff came back from the commercial break, management told him he couldn't say anything more about defending yourself?
So I guess, according to the thugs now, if we're caught in the middle of a demonstration, you can't speed up and get away from there. You just have to sit there and hope that they don't shoot through the window. Yeah, so that people understand, Victor, and again, I appreciate you calling in so that people can understand. This is about a gentleman by the name of Daniel Perry. He is a military veteran, good, decent guy, drove an Uber, found himself right smack in the middle of a Black Lives Matter protest.
It was a violent, violent protest. And people, there was a group there. They were armed. A guy by the name of Garrett Foster had an AK-47 rifle. That guy threatened Mr.
Perry and literally raised the barrel of his rifle at him.
So what did Mr. Perry do?
Well, he shot the guy five times with his .357 through the window of the car. And he has been found guilty by the George Soros DA and the George Soros judge. He's been found guilty of murder. He faces up to life in prison.
Now, the good news here is that, and Victor, we're going to give you about 30 seconds here to respond to this, but the good news is that Texas Governor Greg Abbott has already begun the process of pardoning this guy, but it's heinous that he was actually found guilty for defending himself. The problem is that the governor in Texas no longer has the power to pardon because there was a Democrat governor many years ago who pardoned everybody in sight, and the legislature took the pardon powers away from the governor.
So all he can do now is to persuade the board or whatever it is to give him a full pardon. And people, if you are caught in a situation like this, I don't care. You just go right through them. Speed up. Whatever.
Get away from there. yeah it's just ludicrous and i thanks thanks to the call victor i mean it really is ludicrous when you think about it and by the way the governor does have the power to issue a pardon but it can only be done through the recommendation of the state board of pardons and paroles so we'll get into more of that on tomorrow's program got to take a break here 844-747-8868 did the guy do anything wrong here i don't think he did we'll be right back With your choice of select sandwich, nugs, fries, and a drink, Wendy's $5 Biggie Bag is your go-to. All right, tomorrow, excited to be a part of a panel at the University of Memphis, Turning Point USA, their Memphis chapter, University of Memphis, doing a panel on capitalism. And I'm excited to be on that panel and talking about some of the great things happening with our business. And if you're in the area, you ought to swing by and check it out and say hello.
All right. Welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. We've been telling you about this breaking news. Congressman Jim Jordan, chairman of House Judiciary, now saying that they have evidence the FBI was attempting to infiltrate Catholic churches in the Richmond, Virginia area. and they were trying to recruit employees of the diocese to basically be snitches, much like when they infiltrated the mosques in New York City in the days after 9-11.
It is absolutely outrageous. And I have to imagine our good friend Bill Donahue from the Catholic League is ready to blow a gasket over these kinds of stories. Hey, Bill, good to have you with us today.
Well, thank you. As a matter of fact, we wrote to Jim Jordan asking him to do this investigation. and thank God that we do have some people in Washington who are listening to us because we had written in the past to the DOJ and FBI and nobody would answer us, but now we're getting some results. What exactly, I mean, if you can divulge whatever information you can, but how did you guys find out that the feds were doing this?
Well, there was a report out that they were looking at certain people in the, more or less, the traditional Catholic Latin mass type of people, and then we started doing some digging from there. And if you put that together with Jane's Revenge, with target blasting and vandalizing and destroying Catholic churches and pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, some of them run by just a wide swath of Christians, some of them Catholic, some of them Protestant, that you put it all together, you see that there's some kind of a warfare going on here to punish people of faith who stand up for the rights of their church and for the rights of the unborn. And so that's why we've been writing to all these people over the months. The only time we get any response is from Jordan. And he's going to be on this one, and we're going to have him on the show tomorrow.
Bill, I do want to turn our attention to what's happening at Walter Reed Hospital and get your reaction to the cease and desist letter that was sent out by this administration. Yeah, I don't quite understand it. I think Archbishop Broglie, whom I know, and he's a good man. He's the head of the Archdiocese of the Military Services. He said, whatever happened to the old adage, if it ain't broke, why fix it?
I mean, the Franciscan group has been, the friars have been running the services there for Catholics for decades. Nobody's complained. Everything's going along smoothly. And then for no reason, on March 31st, Walter Reed pulls the rug out from under everybody and just simply announces that we're going to let some for-profit group now take over.
Now, they did allow Easter services and the like. I think they kind of got the message. I think it can be resolved. But here's one more example. And here's what bothers me, Todd.
I'm honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.
So I'm a loyal American. I served my time during the Vietnam War period. I was not. I was stateside. I was not in Vietnam.
But it bothers me when I see, and I come from a family of Irish cops, law enforcement, FBI personnel, Now, when I see people in the top echelons of the military and the FBI becoming corrupt, this really hits home because we've always had some bad apples every place. There's nothing new about that. But the idea that at the elite level that you're seeing people who are now, you have to wonder, what is their goal at this point? Why don't they just simply stick to the business of defending the United States' interest? It makes absolutely no sense.
And I'd be curious to know the group, because they talked about being inclusive, and that's always a red flag. Yeah. Well, inclusive always seems to mean exclusive when it comes to people of faith, doesn't it? We're the ones now that are being attacked. Take a look at what's going on with the whole transgender movement and attacking people now, who are speaking out for the rights of women and the like, what's going on in different parts of the country.
Violence has become really the modus operandi here of these people involved in the trans movement. And as I pointed out in my own research, people talk about, well, you know, transgender people are being victimized. They're being treated with violence. That's true. And guess who's doing it to them?
Themselves. I did the research on this and reported it last week. Overwhelmingly, it's called intimate partner violence. Isn't that cute, Tor? IPV, intimate partner violence.
Yeah, there is violence in the transgender community. It's them doing it to each other. And I'm tired of Christians being blamed for this, because that's what the AOCs of this world did, and she blamed white straight men here about a week ago. It's true. It's the left that is doing this to us.
It's not conservatives who, by and large, have been peaceful. Bill, I mean, you and I have been in the trenches for a long time together, and it always bothers me that so many Christians are afraid to speak out, and especially other leaders. What are you guys, have you guys been successful in getting people to get up and get involved and get engaged? And if so, how did you do it?
Okay, we have been successful. Am I happy with the success we've had? No, I want more of it because we have a long ways to go. Here's some of the things that we do. For example, if we've been offended by somebody, it could be a school administrator, it could be an artist, somebody on TV, it doesn't make any difference, somebody in the DOJ, we will put out a statement that I will write, and we will get the email contact of the person or the person's publicist or the chief of staff, whoever it might be in the organization, and we will send it out to our list, which is huge.
and then our people then will contact it. All they have to do is click on it, make it real easy for people to email their outrage, and that's how we're able to get people jacked up and be able to win a number of these victories. We don't win them all, but we do win a number of them that way. And people want to participate. You have to make it easy and inexpensive, and that's what we do.
I love it. Folks, catholicleague.org. That's catholicleague.org. You need to bookmark this website. Check it out every day.
They've got great material and great information, and Bill and the team over there have just done a phenomenal job over the years. You know, Bill, you look at what's happening at Walter Reed. A couple of weeks ago, there was the story about the Merchant Marine Academy taking down the portrait of Jesus. We saw this on steroids during the Obama years, and I'm wondering now if Biden is feeling emboldened, and now they're going to be picking up the pace like Obama did back in the day. I think it's worse.
It's worse because I've never seen so many people who are so committed to the radical LGBT agenda in my life than under the Obama administration. And it pains me to say that I'm an Irish Catholic. And this guy in the White House, he calls himself an Irish Catholic. He's a disgrace to the Irish. He's a disgrace to the Catholic Church.
And he walks around with his rosary. You know what? Keep your rosary in your pocket. Just deliver with policies. Why are you trying to eviscerate the faith-based communities?
Why are you trying to force doctors, Catholic doctors, to perform abortions and sex reassignment surgeries? That's in the Equality Act, which Biden is pushing. The man's an absolute disgrace. All right, Bill, appreciate the information. What do people need to do?
I mean, are you guys launching anything with regard to Walter Reed? People can sign up, get involved?
Well, right now, you know, we're so overwhelmed with stuff coming from this administration and elsewhere. I'm happy that Archbishop Broglio is handling it because I know him, and I know that he'll get some results. We're here for him if he needs us. But quite frankly, we have a couple of other things that are irons in the fire, so to speak. All right.
Well, we're going to get you back. It's been too long. And, Bill, we really appreciate and respect the great work you're doing. Thank you for all the great work you've been doing over the years. I love you, buddy.
All right. Good man right there, folks. Bill Donahue from the Catholic League, the Baptist and the Catholic. Get us together. We'll get the country on the right path.

Here to keep you firing on all cylinders. any Bruce Springsteen fans in the audience so Stephen Van Zandt who's the guitarist in the E Street band making some headlines he is calling for the extermination of GOP cockroaches.
So that would be people like you and me. Mr. Van Zandt has since deleted his tweet, but he urged fans to exterminate the Republican cockroaches. He said, I will try to read this to you. This is the original tweet.
to avoid spending half of my day deleting fox blanking blank bag russian bots and maggot cockroaches like you go take away some women's rights keep some black people from voting go harass a trans event go shoot some kids do what republicans do best and get the blank out of my feet so he was reacting to the story out of tennessee with these lawmakers who now allege they were booted from the tennessee state house because of the color of their skin which is a lie by the way. Nobody's going to see the movies except for the ones that that do not embrace wokeness. And I'm I'm wondering if any of these Hollywood types, if Bruce and his ilk, if they get it that whenever people do this, they lose fans. And when you lose fans, you lose money.
Makes no sense to me. By the way, has the FBI paid a visit to Mr. Van Zandt? I mean, quite frankly, what he said, if he had said it on J6, he'd be sitting in a D.C. Gulag right now.
So maybe he ought to be arrested for threatening to exterminate the Republican cockroaches. 844-747-8868, our toll-free telephone number. Let's go to the phones. Anna in Georgia. Hi, Anna.
What's on your mind today?
Hey, Todd. Just a couple of things I wanted to comment on is the fact that, you know, there's been some recent comments made about Republicans not appealing to those who want to get on the abortion train and, you know, that's affecting the votes. You know, and this plays right into Van Zandt and all his crazy stuff. I mean, these people are drug-induced and, you know, it's been years on alcohol. I mean, I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.
But more importantly, it's affected our culture so much and the kids so much that, you know, I'm a grandmother of five, and by the grace of God, I don't know, they just turned down. And I have wonderful children who are raising them. But there's a lot of kids out there that repeat a lot of the things they hear on the news about abortion. They don't have a clue of integrity or any of that stuff that it goes along with being, you know, just being the kind of person that is a thoughtful person. You know, they're talking about women not having rights to their bodies.
What about the babies? These are people they're carrying.
Well, Anna, it's a good point. Look, it's a good point you're bringing up here. And look, the reality is this is a hot-button political issue.
So if you're going to be bringing up, if people are going to be bringing up this issue, they need to have a specific talking point, and they need to be able to approach it through the radicalism and the extremism of the Democrat Party. And if they don't do that, or if the Republicans are unwilling to do that, they're going to lose the argument at the end of the day. I mean, it really is that simple. And we've got to run. Appreciate the call.
Let's go to Janie in Memphis, Tennessee, listening to us on KWAM. Welcome to the program. Did I get your name correct? You did. Thank you.
All right, Janie, what's going on? You know, you've just brought up a point that I've thought about forever, and it's the actors. why we need them to entertain us we do not need them to get into politics yeah i'm with you on that it takes away from the the entertainment janey it's true i every time i watch a movie and i know someone is one of these raging leftist i i just sucks all the joy and the entertainment value right out of it for me well i just you know we should do this and we should do that they got more money than than most normal people and they don't you know they don't need to be weighing in on things like that unless they're going to do something about it janey i like the way you think and i think you're spot-on accurate appreciate you calling in today all right janey thank you and i tell you what real quick let's go to murph uh listening to us on kwham as well i got a lot of kwham listeners today hi murph well you got about a minute here what's on your mind sir yes sorry dr stern thanks for the invite uh mr van zant i'm not sure where he's coming from because it's republican self-government that makes his living and very lucrative and very prosperous and as another van zant used to say at least from this part of the country this southern man don't need him around anyhow so uh and i'm you know i'm a bruce springsteen fan from 40 years ago but this this makes no sense of course dr springsteen is a ultra liberal as it is and that's usually what happens when people make a whole lot of money real fast they get guilty and they gotta and have to pontificate about how bad things are and what we should do about it. He's completely ignorant. I think about old J.D.
Rockefeller, who was the wealthiest man of all time in America. And here's a guy who gave hundreds of millions of dollars to charities and philanthropy and all that kind of stuff. And he never, again, he was just very generous. And he was a godly man, went to church. And here was a guy who was, again, a firm believer in things like capitalism and the American way of life.
and through his faith, he made a lot of people's lives much, much better, including, believe it or not, Spelman College. He was one of the top donors to one of the most popular and famous black schools in all time, a white guy. Don't tell the Tennessee Three that, Murph. Yeah, take care. Murph, we got to run.
You give us a call back because I'd love to bend your ear about what's happening at the Tennessee Statehouse. We've got some developments. We'll talk about those tomorrow. Thanks, Murph. Thanks, Janie and Anna.
