Welcome to the Todd Starnes Show, sponsored by Legacy Precious Metals. There's never been a better time to invest in precious metals. Visit LegacyPMInvestments.com. That's LegacyPMInvestments.com. Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, It's America's conservative blowtorch.

That's us. That's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah.

All right. Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Good to have you with us today. I want you to gather the children around the radio today, gather them around the smartphone, and we're going to educate America. We're going to have a good old-fashioned come-to-Jesus meeting to start off today's radio program.

And we have got a lot to say about something that happened yesterday involving our great President Trump.

Now, we are big supporters of the president on this radio program. And the reason why is Donald Trump, on his worst day, is still one of the most conservative, one of the most Republican Republicans in all of the Republican Party, especially when it comes to these rhinos and these establishment types. But Donald Trump from day one has been warning you, the great listeners of this radio program, from border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain. He has been warning you about fake news, about MSDNC, about CNN, the most profane name in news. Crying Negro Network.

Thank you, Judge Joe Brown, for that.

So here we have a story involving Piers Morgan, the British guy who wants to take away our guns, and a story involving Rupert Murdoch and Fox Nation, which is the OTT platform that Fox News Channel runs.

So Morgan is doing a show and is about to do a show for Fox Nation. And part of this show was an interview, an in-depth interview with President Trump.

Now, late yesterday, my text messages just blew up. People were texting me all over America. Todd, did you see what happened to Trump? He lost his cool. Trump was in a rage, and Piers Morgan was calling him on the carpet, and Trump jumped up and started screaming and yelling and calling him a disgrace and calling him foolish and stormed out of the interview at Mar-a-Lago.

I thought, geez, hello. And sure enough, that's certainly what it sounded like when Piers Morgan and the people over at Fox Nation released a promo for this special that's going to air on the network. Cut number one.

Okay, Piers, I'm ready. A former president in denial. I'll be completely straight with you to your face. I think I'm a very honest man. Much more honest than you, actually.

Really? Yeah. It was a free and fair match. You lost. Only a fool would think that.

You think I'm a fool? I do now, yeah. With respect. Excuse me.

Okay, but with respect. The legislation. The hard evidence. Excuse me.

The most explosive interview of the year. I don't think you're real. I'm not like... Very dishonest. Let's finish up the interview.

Morgan versus Trump. Turn the camera up. Very dishonest. Only on Talk TV. All right, can I just say something about the announcer first?

Is that like a Sebastian Gorka wannabe? Morgan versus Trump. Relief factor. It sounded like that to me. It's just a cheap ripoff.

But that's what Piers Morgan is. I'm just going to say something about Piers Morgan, and I mean no disrespect here.

Well, okay, I do. But this is why you need strong border security. There's no reason why that guy should be walking on American soil. We fought a war, so that would not have to happen.

So Piers Morgan is out there, and they're promoting this video as if President Trump stormed out. And you heard it there again. And we're going to play this again for our good friend Liz Harrington. But now what we're about to do is give you a lesson on fake news. Because when it comes to Donald Trump, the national media, and you hate to throw Fox News into the mix here, but they're broadcasting this.

Even Fox News has been guilty of spreading fake news about Donald Trump. And the problem is that many people in our audience have actually bought into all of this. because they get bombarded with it every day. And if somebody's telling you that you're a sorry so-and-so every single time you get up and watch the news, then you're going to start to believe that even if it's not true. And when it comes to Donald Trump, he's not a sorry so-and-so.

He's a good and decent man. You may not agree with everything he says, but who does? Many of you don't agree with everything I say. A couple of you have actually called in this week and told me that. But you know what?

It's okay. It's okay to disagree with somebody as long as you can agree on the fundamentals.

So we're going to go through now, and let me explain how brilliant President Trump is. He went out and hired the best comms team known to mankind. And you see, these people know what the media is up to. And how many times have we been bringing these stories to you? President Trump does a rally.

Nobody showed up. Here are the photos. And it comes to find out that the reporter actually showed up before the event was even starting and filmed all these empty seats that turned out to be eventually filled up. Fake news. What about the Russian dossier, which now we all know turns out not to be true.

As a matter of fact, we now know that it was paid for by the Clinton campaign. It was a political hit job, and the mainstream media were accessories to the crime. If you take all of that away, you know what you get? If you take all the fake news away, you get a second term of Donald John Trump.

So an argument can be made and should be made that the mainstream media was weaponized to take out Donald Trump. And it started before he even put his hand on the Bible, the Holy Bible, to swear to protect and defend the Constitution of these great United States.

So it turns out that when they invited Piers Morgan into Mar-a-Lago, and by the way, I found this to be fascinating.

Now, many of you know that yours truly, Todd Starnes, was invited, and I've been to Mar-a-Lago a couple of times now. I was invited to sit down with the president for an interview for my book. That interview lasted 90 minutes. With this guy, it was like 60 minutes and that was it. They wanted him out of there.

So we're very gracious. The president was very gracious with his time and we're very thankful for him. It was a great interview we had. But Piers Morgan, you're about to hear Piers Morgan in his own words. This is Piers Morgan, and you're going to be able to hear behind the scenes.

You know what? Here's what we're going to do. We're going to break early because I don't want to have this interrupted. It's a seven-minute soundbite.

Now, normally we do not play seven-minute soundbites on this program, but you need to hear this. You need to see how the mainstream media operates. These people are deceitful, they're devious, and they're evil. But this is what they're teaching journalism kids to do now in journalism school. They're not teaching the kids how to write.

They're teaching them how to be jerk faces. And that's what Piers Morgan, when you hear how Piers Morgan actually treated President Trump, it's going to blow your mind. But the comms team that works for President Trump, they knew something was up. They knew not to trust these people.

So they were secretly recording what actually happened.

Now, if they had not been secretly recording what had actually happened, what do you think the headline would be today? And it still is in many places. It said, Donald Trump lost his cool. He starved out of an interview with Piers Morgan. But now we know that is a flat-out lie.

And last night, the president's team sent me the audio.

So we have the exclusive audio, and we're going to play that for you in just a moment. 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. And I want to throw this out here. Do you think if the media had not declared war on Trump day one, do you think he would be in the middle of his second term right now?

844-747-8868. Toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Starnes Show. It's the Todd Starnes Radio Show.

So this is the secret recording that the Trump team made as Piers Morgan was interviewing President Trump.

Now remember, they told us that Trump stormed out of the room in a huff. Let's listen. One of the big questions being put to lots of politicians right now is, what is a woman? I'm not going to respond to the question but a woman is a woman is somebody that swims at a certain time and doesn't get beaten by 38 seconds by somebody that wasn't even a good swimmer as a male one of the other questions about potentially running again is you've been in that pressure cauldron of the White House with your family they all come on a huge attack the children, your wife Melania would you be happy to put back in there? Would they be happy to be back in there?

Well, I won't get into that, but I will tell you they all love the country, and we did a great job. I did a great job as president. We had, I think, the best numbers probably, even the rebuilding of the military, the right to try. Every single thing we did was a home run. And then we did incredibly on warp speed when this China virus came in.

Were you glad that the vaccine program was? I know that you were surprised, I'll be honest. but I was pleasantly surprised that you came out and said that you'd not only been fully vaccinated but you thought other people should be vaccinated we saved tens of millions of lives maybe this would have been the Spanish flu of 1917 had we not come up and I got it done in nine months as opposed to they were projecting from five to twelve years I got it done in nine months so I'm very proud of that against mandates strongly against mandates but I'm very proud of what we did I saved worldwide tens of millions of lives. One last question. Do you accept that early on in the pandemic that you didn't take it serious enough or you were being told how serious it was but you weren't sharing that with the American people?

I'm a cheerleader for this country. I want to be positive for this country. I think everything's seriously enough is that very seriously. But I'm a cheerleader for this country. Our country's been better than anybody else.

We've done a great job. A final question, President Trump. It's been a tumultuous time for the world and the country. There is a chance that you're going to be running quite clearly. You've made that clear in this interview.

I don't think I've made it clear. You said you were going to be happy. But I think people are going to be happy. I think people are going to be very happy. To those who don't like you, there are people out there that don't like you.

I know you said recently that you were very popular, but I think you said you're the most honest man in the world. I'm a very honest man. Was that true? Yeah, I think I'm a very honest man. For those who don't like you.

Much more honest than you, actually. Really? Yeah. I'm pretty honest. Because I don't think you're real.

Really? Yeah, I think I'm a much more honest person in most ways. Why am I not real? But we're not going to get into that. Let's finish up the interview.

Go ahead. My question is this. What message do you have to people who can't think of anything worse than you running again and will be distressed about it? Would you come back, with all the experience you had of being president, would you come back a different person? Would you do things a bit differently?

So, I like this question in a certain way, because I came in and I was attacked from day one. Unfairly, Russia, Russia, Russia was a hoax. The impeachment hoax was number one. It was only a hoax. the Mueller report.

And I had to fight back, and I had to fight back strongly. And if I didn't fight back strongly, I wouldn't have survived. And I say it, and I say it loud, I have two jobs to do. Run the country really well, and the second was to survive. No other president went through this fake stuff where fake things were made up like Russia, Russia.

I'm the one that ended the pipeline. I'm the one that put all those sanctions on. I'm the one that saved NATO. NATO was dead. They had no money.

They were broke. And I got the money to pour it from countries that would have never given it. If I wasn't the way I am, you know what would have happened? I wouldn't be there for two weeks. Two weeks.

Now, would I like to be a little bit different? Yes. But if I didn't act the way I acted, it would have not been the great success. I have the off-base. What makes it celebrity offenses together?

Which I really enjoy. That's the last question. Yes, yes, yes. No, the last question was like four minutes ago. And they keep asking and asking and asking and asking.

All right, let's continue. I saw a very different Donald Trump in the border for those hours every night. You weren't as aggressive and confrontational. Except I wasn't under siege with phony Russian-Russia. Another way, I agree, but the Russian religion was ridiculous.

No, no, and many others. Right. But my point is, if you've got a chance again, would we see more of that Donald Trump, do you think? It depends on how you do it. But if you bring it unfairly, you have to keep talking about the fight.

I can walk in. You're set. But it depends on how you bring it.

Okay, we'll remember that. If you're in trouble, something has to happen. And if it doesn't happen, and if we don't have smart leadership, you're going to end up with no world. The world is going to be blown to pieces. We have stupid people now running our country.

The world is going to be blown to pieces. Chris, you've done the last question? You've done the last question four times now.

So I feel like you're lying at this point. I just haven't lost you here. You said the last question four times. All right, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.

So, folks, do you hear it? Again, they were very generous. Last question, last question, last question, last question. and the guy just keeps on and on and on. I would have thrown the British bum right out of the Mar-a-Lago.

But the president was very gracious. Let's continue. I think it's fine. It's fine. It's fantastic in your opinion.

I wanted to end with the hole-in-one. I just haven't asked about the hole-in-one. Do you want to? Go ahead. You recently got a hole-in-one playing golf with Ernie S, one of the great golfers of the world.

What was that like for you?

Well, it was great. He's a great guy, great player, one of the most beautiful swings, they say, in the history of golf, and very powerful. And I made it with him and actually three other tour pros, and it was quite a thrill. Pull me through the shot.

Well, I hit the ball. It was hit well. It felt good. The wind was blowing hard into my face. It was a five iron that went 181 yards, and it went plank right into the hole.

It landed on the green in one bounce, and it went plank. And Ernie, who's a low-key guy, one of the reasons he's susceptible, the big easy, right? All right, stop, stop. It was a great shot, by the way. But that's not why I wanted to interrupt here.

We're about at the end of the interview, all right?

Now, Piers Morgan and Fox Nation, they're saying the president in a rage stormed out. We played you the audio of that. But let's listen to how this interview actually concluded. And the other pros started jumping up and down in the air. And I said, why are you guys so excited?

He says, because we don't see Hollywood. They make, I guess, one every three tournaments, and then you have to be in the group.

So it's... Have you had one before? I've had seven. This was a seven. Seven?

Seven. This was my seven. Which isn't that high a number, believe it or not. If somebody plays golf, I hear the record is 49.

Okay, people... Do you buy a round of drinks in the dollar office? I don't know, but I would certainly have been happy to... But you don't drink. I don't drink, no.

It is traditionally by a run. Did you hear that? It probably happened. Because they own the club, I'm sure it happened. Congratulations.

Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you for the great idea. Thank you. Did you hear anybody screaming?

Was anybody throwing a chair in the lobby of Mar-a-Lac-O? No, not at all. It was a very cordial way to end, quite frankly, what was a rude interview conducted by Piers Morgan. When the president's team tells you last question, it's the last question. Maybe they don't understand that over in the UK.

Maybe there's a language barrier there. I don't know. But you needed to hear that for yourself, ladies and gentlemen. And I'm not sure how many other talk shows out there would actually take the time to play this audio for you because now you know the rest of the story. All right, we got to take a break here.

We have some breaking news about CNN. We'll tell you more about that. 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. 844-747-8868.

or you can do what I did, which is just download the Free Newsmax app on your smartphone. All right, let's go to the phones, 844-747-8868. And the question, do you believe that President Trump would still be president had it not been for these fake attacks coming from the mainstream media? Charles, North Carolina, what say you, sir? Hey, good afternoon, Todd.

Todd, there is no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump would still be president had it not been for the bias reporting during the last presidential cycle. You know, I was listening to you yesterday, and you said that back in 2016, you know, Donald Trump was not your first candidate. And I'll have to say that he wasn't mine either. Initially, I supported Ben Carson and then Ted Cruz and really didn't know a whole lot about Donald Trump. And I went to a Trump rally just by half a chance up in Manchester, New Hampshire, in June of 2016, before he was even the nominee.

And I appeared at this rally. They positioned me behind the podium. And the president came out. His speech was all on economics and trade. And this man in the audience stood up, asked him a question.

And in the course of the question, the man condemned Israel and said that we need to disassociate ourselves from Israel. And President Trump responded, Donald Trump responded, that he supported the state of Israel, the Jewish people, their democracy, our ally, and a fight against terrorism. And so I saw with my own eyes, heard with my own ears what his response, and also what his positions were. And later that night, and they've got this on video up there at WMUR, I'm sure, to Manchester, not one radio station reported Donald Trump's response. They all categorized him as a racist and a Nazi.

and for the next four years Todd every time the media came on TV it wasn't if it's true or whether it's a lie it was what is effective in getting rid of Donald Trump and he endured lie after lie and in spite of 99.9 percent negative press coverage he still was more popular at this point in his presidency than Joe Biden is with almost 100 percent favorable coverage So not only did they distort and lie and completely mislead the American people about Donald Trump, but when there was actual factual evidence that came out, like the Hunter Biden laptop, they tried to suppress it and deplatform people.

So no question that that's what they tried to do. And if I were Donald Trump, Todd, if I'm elected in 2024, I would not let NBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN come into the press room unless they publicly apologize to the American people for lying and misleading the American people and dividing the American people like they did. I love that idea, Charles. And if you remember, in the early days of the Trump administration, there had actually been some discussion about whether or not to just shut down the White House press briefing room and hold those gatherings someplace else. And I still think that they should have followed through with that.

But I'm with you. I wouldn't let any of them in until they publicly apologize and confess their sins against Donald Trump. I like it. Publicly apologize and talk to Donald Trump. I know he's got to have his guard up now, and he should, and those around him should.

But I would not do any interview unless it were totally live and unedited. That's what he needs to do so they cannot cherry pick and dissect his words and sentences to fit their own narrative. And here's what needs to happen over at Fox Nation. They need to do the right thing. And I know a lot of the people, look, I used to have a TV show on Fox Nation, and there are very good, very decent people there.

And I have to imagine they're horrified by what Piers Morgan did. And I would like to think that Fox Nation would announce they're not going to broadcast this. They're not going to they're they're just going to take a pass because clearly Piers Morgan is not is not a man of his word. He's not a man to be trusted. He's a liar and he's British.

Amen to that, Todd. Yeah. And I hope that they will do that. And I'm just glad that President Trump's team was able to film the whole interview so that we know the truth. You know?

Yeah. You know what? They're the heroes of this because, Charles, we all know what would have happened had they not had that secret recording. We know how this all would have gone down. Exactly.

Exactly. All right. Charles, appreciate the call. Thank you for listening. Great comments.

All right. Great talking to you, Todd. Thank you. Okay, that's Charles from North Carolina on the line. You know, look, it's, God bless those folks.

I hope Trump gives them all a raise. They sure could use one, putting up with the likes of Piers Morgan. But I do believe that Fox needs to hear from its viewers. I know a lot of you still listen to Fox, you still watch Fox, and I think they need to hear from you guys, because this is a black eye on the entire network over there. And I have to imagine there are a lot of people behind the scenes, and there are a few actual conservatives over there that have to be horrified by what Piers Morgan tried to do.

Oh, by the way, the breaking news. CNN, the most profane name in news. Crying Negro Network. Thanks, Judge Joe Brown. CNN has announced or is getting ready to announce that they are shutting down CNN+.

Plus, they just started this thing, what, two, three weeks ago, and they're already shutting it down.

Now, has anybody, do we know, Grace Baker, where's Grace? Grace? Has anyone done a welfare check on Chris Wallace? No, not to my knowledge, but I think somebody should definitely go check on him. Yes.

So let's think about this. Chris Wallace was making millions of dollars at Fox News Channel. He left in a huff and he joined CNN thinking that was the better career move to go to a channel that nobody watches. Yeah, and I'll say that the best news this week has been the mask mandates on planes being lifted. But the second best piece of news has been CNN plus shutting down.

Well yes CNN had planned to spend more than one billion dollars over the next four years to boost CNN plus Here where here what I don get Grace Nobody watches CNN for free Exactly So why would they think people are going to pay for that garbage? I mean, most of their viewership is from, you know, airports that still play it and you're forced to watch it because you're stuck there. Yeah. No phone signal. I mean, it's it's even worse than public broadcasting.

At least you got back in the day sesame street before they went woke yep fascinating uh cnn had planned to spend more than a billion dollars they had budgeted for 500 employees including producers engineers and programmers they had rented out additional floor space in midtown manhattan and now it's all over well they can just use it as storage the whole place is well the whole place is going belly up yep i mean a lot of people are about to lose their job the dwarf king himself little brian stelter you better watch out humpty dumpty he's gone they're going to be getting rid of him next and his little sidekick ollie ollie darcy is his name it's very sad he was like one of those concern you know he worked at breitbart back in the day oliver darcy is his name worked at breitbart he tried begged and pleaded to get hired at fox news channel they wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole well now we see why and now we know why so now he's he's exacting revenge by working at cnn he really got him oh man you got us pal you got us but in in all seriousness cnn is about it they're in for a rude awakening and the there's a there's a time when you got to pay the piper for going woke and that time is now president biden just a few moments ago was asked a question. And you need to hear the president, you're going to hear the question and you're going to hear the president respond to the question that was asked. Many of you know that we've been following this forever now, the Title 42 about to be lifted on the border, and we are expecting a tsunami of illegals to invade our nation.

So President Biden was asked about this just a little while ago, and I want you to hear what happened. I'm Title 42, sir. Are you considering delaying lifting Title 42? No, what I'm considering is continuing to hear from my, first of all, there's going to be an appeal by the Justice Department, because as a matter of principle, we want to be able to be in a position where if, in fact, it is strongly concluded by the scientists that we need Title 42, that we'd be able to do that. But there has been no decision on extending Title 42.

Oh, my God.

So he was asked about the border, and he responded by talking about the mask mandates.

So the White House just a few moments ago had to put out a statement clarifying the president's earlier statement. And I want to read that to you. Here's President Biden. It's not just clarifying. He didn't know what he was talking about.

He says, I want to clarify that in comments at the conclusion of my remarks this morning, I was referring to the CDC's mask mandate and there is no Department of Justice action on Title 42, but you told America there was, sir. Do you even know that you are president of the United States? I don't think he is. I don't think he does. Biden, blink twice if you need help.

I mean, it's just it's it's it's so sad yet horrifying because we are on the verge of what could be a nuclear conflict with Russia. And this is the guy with his finger on the button. I have a feeling he'd push the wrong button. It's frightening. He would end up blowing up Des Moines, Iowa.

Yeah. Whoops. My bad. Hey, blow up this place. Clicks the button.

No, that was an entirely different country, Biden.

So it just goes on and on and on and on with these people. 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. 844-747-8868. Do you think it's time for Democrats to step up to the microphone and say, folks, we got to talk about Biden?

Do you think they would have the man parts necessary to have that conversation? because clearly Joe Biden is not running the country. He's not capable of running the country. I don't think he's capable of putting on his pants in the morning. This is the Todd Starnes Show.

I keep forgetting I'm president. From the front lines of the culture war, it's Todd Starnes. In November of 2020, the Democrats are up to no good. They were planning to pull off the greatest scheme of election fraud never before seen. They didn't think we would catch them, but we did.

Find out what they did and how they did it in the new documentary film called 2000 Mules, directed and narrated by renowned filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza and executive produced by Salem Media Group with research from truethevote.org. 2,000 Mules tells the story of the ones who tried to hijack a presidential election. So, late yesterday, the White House announced that they are going to appeal the federal judge's ruling when it comes to mask mandates on jetliners and public forms of transportation. I don't know who in the White House made that decision. But God love them because they just guaranteed that just about every Democrat running for re-election is going to lose their race.

Now, I have a question for you. If the Justice Department steps in and if another judge says, you know what, yeah, you got a mask up, will you wear that mask again? You've already been set free. We're hearing reports of folks literally dancing in the airports. People are celebrating.

They're hugging strangers because they're so happy they don't have to wear those face diapers anymore. We've even heard reports of women burning their face diapers. It's a beautiful thing, America.

So my question to you, are you willing to put that mask back on your face if the judge says, yeah, you got a mask back up again. It's a matter of public safety. by the way there is a woman who's on twitter and we've got this up on our twitter feed and this lady lord lover she's just uh she's a moron it's unfortunate she is apparently an epidemiologist so she's an educated moron and she's there in the airport dr emily racotta is her name her um her profile name or her, I don't know, her handle on Twitter, I Play With Germs. That sounds creepy. Anyway, she is defying the mask mandate removal.

And I say, good for you. If you want to look like a moron, it's your God-given right under the U.S. Constitution. Go ahead and wear that face diaper, darling. Anyway, Dr.

Rakota says, in defiance of the mask mandate removal, I am double masked and bringing some sass to the airport this morning. I'm going to, you know, I'm looking at the photograph and we got it on the Twitter feed here. That mask looks filthy. And in all honesty, maybe just maybe, I mean, if we're talking about public safety here, maybe she should actually be triple masked or maybe quadruple masked because we all know the masks don't work.

So anyway, I recommend it. I mean, if she's okay, if she thinks that two masks are going to do the trick, then knock yourself out, lady. But she might be safer taking Greyhound. Phyllis writes in on the live show blog or our live Facebook feed, Todd, I'm glad you played the whole interview. I couldn't imagine President Trump storming out in the first place.

He's a gentleman, and that isn't his character. Secondly, Mr. Trump has the ability to use words to counteract the stupidity in the media. when he said peers was fake he was so right it's true uh lisa writes evil news agencies will not be allowed um in fact they're being put away as we speak many of them have already been taken care of i have no idea what she's talking about there edward said trump would never be allowed to have a second term he is too much of a threat to the swamp look edward that's why everybody was going after Trump. That's why everybody was going after Trump.

So a story caught my eye the other day from back in Sacramento.

Now, many of you know that I worked at KFBK in Sacramento, which is where Rush Limbaugh launched his national program and have a lot of friends in the Sacramento area. There's a story that's making national headlines about the sheriff who is pretty fed up with the local media, just like President Trump is disgusted with all the fake news coming out of the mainstream media these days. I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. We're honored to have Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones joining us today. Sheriff, hope you're doing good.

I'm doing very well. Thank you. It's great to be with you. And just good, good people in law enforcement there and had the honor of covering the police beat back in the day. And just some of the finest law enforcement officers in the country are right there in Sacramento and Sacramento County.

Yep. And that has not changed. That is still very true, although the challenges are new and unique. Every single year, it seems, still a great bunch of folks.

So, Sheriff, I understand the Sacramento Bee invited you to participate in an endorsement interview. You're running for the 3rd Congressional District there in California, and I'm curious to know what happened.

Well, first of all, it didn't really actually come as a formal invite. It came as a calendar item, just in an email with a calendar event, which is followed up later with an email about a week later, asking me to sit down with their editorial board for an interview for possible endorsements.

Now, obviously, I've been sheriff for three terms. I run for Congress in 2016, so I'm familiar with these processes. But, and although I did get the endorsement of the sacramental, it would be back in 2010 when I ran for sheriff the first time, it's a very different paper now, as many papers across the country are. It is just a tremendous, the editorial section has taken over the entire paper. The entire paper is basically one large editorial section.

And, you know, we're a media center, so we have media, video media, and printed media. and I sit down with them and obviously have a good relationship with them over the last 12 years as sheriff over a lot of different things but the bee has not they have basically abandoned their journalistic integrity in favor of you know creating a narrative like so many newspapers have and I just didn't want to be any part of it and so I said hey thanks for the invite the invite but no thanks not only am I not going to participate in the process I don't even want the endorsement of the Sacramento Bee.

Well good for you good for you sheriff and I I know that had to have triggered somebody over there at the Sacramento B headquarters.

Well, it seems like I trigger them quite a bit when I stand up to the madness that happens in the Capitol here, again, with this, you know, asinine public safety legislation and sanctuary state laws and things that I've stood up against for the last 12 years. Yeah, they get triggered quite a bit from me, and they just, you know, they resort to, like everybody that doesn't have facts on their side, they resort to name-calling and emotional appeals and how terrible I am and xenophobic. You know, same old story. It's nothing unique to me. But I've been attacked and still sleep like a baby every night.

But, you know, the rest of the media here in Sacramento, I feel we get criticized when we deserve criticism, but they are fair. There's nothing, nothing fair about the Sacramento Bee, and I suspect I probably have more Facebook followers than they have subscribers anymore.

Well, and I think that's the case in other parts of the country as well. I believe the Sacramento Bee is owned by McClatchy, if I'm not mistaken. That's correct. And it seems to me, much like the radio industry where you have these mega conglomerates, and they're controlling a lot of the local radio stations, TV stations, and newspapers, this is why you need local ownership, because there are people there to hold people accountable, and that's simply not the case now with these mega conglomerates. Yeah, that's 100% true.

We used to be a two-paper town, which, you know, the Korean is some sort of a balance, but the stock in the union, they have long since been gone. You know, the B again is circle in the drain. They don't even print their newspapers here anymore. They've gotten rid of their real estate. And so it's only a matter of time.

But in the meantime, they've taken their cartoonists and made them reporters and folks that were weekly columnists now making them in charge of the editorial board.

So, you know, they keep refiguring and reconfiguring. But, you know, the reality is their days are numbered, and I think they know it. Why they cling on to this, you know, sort of liberal narrative-creating agenda is beyond me. I think people are hungry for honest, fair, balanced news. I mean, look, I get criticized a lot.

I mean, I run one of the largest sheriff's offices in the country. We have 3,000 employees and a half-a-billion-dollar budget. Things are going to happen. And, you know, we stand up and take accountability for it, and we get challenged and held to account by the media. The B is not that.

The B is they're just terrible. They just resort to name-calling, and it's just terrible. But, again, this is Sacramento's story in my world, but it's not unlike stories that are occurring across this country with the media. And, by the way, folks, Scott Jones, the sheriff of Sacramento County in California, running for Congress. He's a Republican.

Sheriff, one of the – you know, I lived in Sacramento, and I love that town. I lived in the Midtown area, and it's just – it's a beautiful area, great people, and it's understandable why people don't want to move out of California. They want to stay, and they want to try and fight for their state. And I'm curious, you mentioned some of the legislation. What are some of the things hampering you and your deputies from doing your job out there?

Well, it started with Proposition 47, which was erroneously dubbed by now Vice President Kamala Harris as the Safe Neighborhoods and Schools Act. Not only did it have nothing to do with safe neighborhoods or schools, but it certainly did nothing to make them safer. And it just basically decriminalized a lot of felonies, pushed them down to misdemeanors and put let a lot of people out of prison that were in prison. And we've had the progeny of that going on from there. We've got Prop 57.

We've had the sanctuary state laws. We had a multiple shooting downtown here in Sacramento for a guy that had been released after just under four years of his 10-year sentence and killed a bunch of people. We had a guy kill his three daughters and himself and a chaperone of their supervised visit two or three weeks ago by a guy. He was in jail five days prior, had been served with a detainer. I said, I know this guy.

We want him. But because of our sanctuary state laws, they could not only not transfer into ICE in Madera County, they couldn't even call ICE and let them know he was getting out. Five days later, he kills his three daughters and himself.

So the failures are remarkable and astounding and recurring.

Some of them make the news.

Some of them make national news. But minor failures are happening all over the place. And, you know, nobody wants to talk about that every crime is a victim. And no one talks about the victims. The mounting crime also means mounting victims.

And no one's talking about that.

Well, I'm glad you are. And we need more law enforcement to stand up and say what needs to be said. We need to call these people out. And I have to imagine the good taxpayers there in Sacramento County are very thankful for that. why did you decide to run for Congress?

Well, I'll tell you the things that I've done here. I was very much looking forward to retirement after 33 years with the sheriff's office and, again, 12 years as sheriff. But I realized that the things that I've been standing up for and fighting against here are occurring, especially over the last couple of years, are occurring nationally. People aren't safe. More importantly, they don't feel safe.

And this border situation, look, the reason I ran for Congress in 2016 is that an officer killed by someone who'd been removed from this country four times. And I did a video plea to President Obama that went viral back then and ended up running for Congress and narrowly missing, unseating an incumbent Democrat. But that is worse now. And so that is still very, very personal to me, the border crisis and allowing folks to come in unchecked.

So, you know, between the public safety piece and the border piece that I still need to fix, I just had to run. I really had no choice. I've got service left to give. Not try to make a career out of Congress, but I'm definitely trying to bring my career to Congress. I think we need more law enforcement in Congress rather than legislation involved in law enforcement.

Well, that's exciting to hear. And, Sheriff, we wish you the very best. And if you're running into my pals, John McGinnis and Tom Sullivan, be sure to tell those fellas I said hello.

Well, I run into John all the time, so I certainly will. I appreciate it. Hey, if folks want to learn more about me or join the fight, they can go to my website at scottjonesforcongress.com. I really appreciate this opportunity to really highlight some of the problems that are occurring here, but definitely recurring all around this country.

Well, Sheriff, you've got an open invitation here, and we have links to all of your pages over on our website. And so we wish you the very best in your congressional race. Thank you, sir. I appreciate this, and I appreciate being with you today. It's nice to chat with you.

All right, Sheriff Scott Jones, everybody, from Sacramento, California. And that is a great town. If you have not been to Sacramento, it's just a fun place. And one of the nicest things about Sacramento, it's not on a fault line, so you don't get the earthquakes. You're an hour from San Francisco, an hour from Lake Tahoe, and an hour from Yosemite.

So it's a pretty great place to be and just incredible people there. And, of course, as our great departed friend Rush Limbaugh, he used to live there for many years and started his national show there, as well as a guy named Morton Downey Jr. for some of you old-timers out there. Hey, real quick, I want to get to the phones. Paul's been hanging on for a while before we've got to go to break.

Paul, welcome to the program. What is on your mind? Yes, sir. I wanted to comment on your question before. Would Donald Trump still be in office if it wasn't for the fake news?

I believe Donald Trump overcame a lot of the fake news. I think what finally got him out was the China virus. The China virus, the Democrats used that to bludgeon Trump with and put fear all over America.

so uh that he and the thing about it is is if they will do that and all the things that they've been doing for the past couple of years if they are that bad in doing all that and orchestrating like the riots and all this kind of stuff and they're no regard for human life or children or anything like that in the border uh what are they gonna because they know in in uh the coming up election, they know they're going to get wiped out.

So my thing is a couple of months before that election, watch out, because if they'll do the other stuff, be careful what they're going to pull this time, because they don't care about human life. Paul, I do believe there will be some sort of an effort to curtail the vote, whether that's canceling the election or there is some sort of an event that happens that would prevent people from going to the polls and that there would only be a write-in election. Look, I would not be surprised. I mean, everything's on the table with these people. I mean, that's how evil this whole thing is.

But even with the China virus, Paul, if the mainstream media would have done their job, I think even with the virus, Trump would have been reelected. But they perpetrated fake news against the president and what he was doing to resolve the China virus, including the early accounts. Remember this, Paul, And we don't have a lot of time here.

So, Paul, thanks for your call. But I will say this, going back to the early days, remember when Trump said we're shutting down the air travel between China and the United States? And he was flat out called a xenophobe. xenophobe. You had all of these people, Nancy Pelosi, a lot of the Democrats out there going to their Chinatowns and standing in solidarity.

And it turns out that that one decision by President Trump possibly saved millions of lives.

So even in the China virus, the fake news was being perpetrated. Got to take a break here, folks. 844-747-8868. Again, that's 844-747-8868. We'll be right back.

It's Radio Free America. Todd Starnes. A lot of people over at Netflix HQ, and they're just confused. They're baffled. They can't figure out why their stock has just simply collapsed.

As a matter of fact, Netflix's stock on yesterday dropped 30%. 30%. That wiped out about $45 billion off the value of the company. And people are, you know, what's going on here? We thought people loved Seinfeld.

And they would sign up. No, no, no, no, no. That has nothing to do with it. Or The Crown. Or Downton Abbey.

No, none of that has anything to do with it. I want to explain to you, and this is my theory on why Netflix cratered yesterday and, quite frankly, could be in grave danger. By the way, 200,000 of you have already canceled your Netflix subscription. And if you have canceled your Netflix subscription, I'd like to hear from you and to hear why. CNN reports that Netflix, their stock dropped 30% when the market opened on Wednesday, instantly wiping out more than $45 billion off the value of the company.

Netflix said it shed 200,000 subscribers in the first three months of the year. They had been expecting to add 2.5 million.

so what's going on here why is it that people are canceling their subscriptions to netflix grace baker do you have a subscription to netflix yes yeah well i do too okay i was like oh no am i about to get shamed no no no no no no not at all it yeah and for me in all honesty it um there are a couple of shows that i enjoy watching me too and that about it yep but there some really freaky stuff going on down at netflix well i was gonna say and they've got a lot more competition now i was just talking to mr call screener about this the other day and said if we needed to cut some things you know with inflation and stuff people are running out of free cash to spend and that would be one of the first things to go and i said you know what i know hbo max has some freaky stuff to but they've got honestly a better selection netflix is putting out mostly trash so i dropped netflix first so netflix is debuting a new program it's a comedy series called he's expecting it is a japanese comedy drama it's going to be released what today oh it's today is when it goes and the whole storyline is a biological dude gives birth to a baby i was about to ask if you were maybe missing a letter from the title it's really he's expecting he's no he's expecting and so the the whole storyline i guess this is anime stuff i don't understand or is it manga japanese manga is that how you pronounce it i guess or manja manga manga okay away in a manga okay uh no that's a christmas carol my apologies very different all right so anyway yeah it's apparently a popular It's based on a popular series called Kentaro Hayamaya's First Pregnancy. I got those names wrong, but I'm American. Why do I care? It's Japanese. The series has biological males able to get pregnant.

And apparently there's an abortion involved in this as well. I'm just, this is disgusting. Have you seen the photographs? Oh, I'm looking at it right now. It looks disgusting.

It reminds me. It reminds me of back in the 1990s when Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger, they actually, there was a movie about Arnold Schwarzenegger getting pregnant. It was called Junior. And that was creepy back in 1994. I'm just saying, I don't know nothing about giving birth to babies.

But I know that's just wrong, America. Wrong! All right, welcome back to the Todd Starnes Radio Show. You know who's going to be really disappointed to hear this news? Our good friend Liz Harrington, President Trump's awesome spokesperson.

listen Liz I I want to share this news with you I'm afraid that CNN plus is going away they've gone belly up after just three weeks you know it couldn't have happened to a nicer group of people I know you're heartbroken just let it all out Liz it's devastating you know I was just about to sign up but now I find out come to find out it's too late dog on it Liz, well, we are so glad to have you on the show. You know, in the first hour, I normally don't do this, but we played all seven minutes of that audio recording so people could hear for themselves how devious and deceitful the mainstream media really is when it comes to President Trump. It's so ridiculous. And it's always this fake caricature they have that they try to push about President Trump. It's just so untrue.

I mean, he doesn't lose his cool. He could care less about the, oh, these tough questions that Piers Morgan is asking. Like, no, they're not hard. It's easy to deal with. And if anyone wants to sit there and talk about the 2020 election and how it was stolen, it's President Trump.

He's not going to storm out. It's ridiculous. Sears Morgan doesn't have the facts on his side. I mean, they edited up this thing. It's beyond ridiculous.

It's so different from what actually occurred. I mean, the only thing was that this interview went on and on and on. It was supposed to be 20 minutes. It went on for over an hour. He said last question about four times.

I mean, everyone was ready to get up and go at that point. But President Trump didn't. He took, you know, three or four more questions, and then the interview was over, and they shook hands.

So it's so ridiculous. He's trying to get ratings. The media is trying to make something of it, but they'll get ratings for President Trump, and they won't get much after that. That's true. And I think back, you know, we went in with the same rules, you know, 20 minutes, and I'm always respectful of time limits.

And the thing is, you want to be invited back, right? I mean, you want to have a good experience. And we were just, I was stunned that the president kept going and going and going. And, you know, we got almost 90 minutes with the president and a free diet cook, which was very kind of him, by the way. But again, it's, you know, the demeanor, you know, the Trump you hear about in the national media is not who that man is in real life.

No, not at all. He's so generous. He's so generous with his time. generous with, you know, sending notes out to people, you know, a little handwritten note for a story you wrote or even just a tweet you sent or a truth you posted. You know, he really is.

He's a great guy. He's a great leader. And he certainly, I mean, if there's anybody, any question of someone who can't take the tough questions, I mean, give me a break. It's Donald J. Trump that stands up there with such a hostile fake news media, and he'll take them all.

I mean, we remember those press conferences from the summer of 2020. I mean, they were just relentless. They're just like rabid dogs trying to get him to say, you know, anything to slip up, and he would calmly answer questions. He'd get the better of them, and he'd be doing it for like an hour and a half. Could Joe Biden do that?

Could Joe Biden do an interview with Piers Morgan? I I mean, Piers Morgan, I don't even think, was that hard of an interview. But we know the answer to that question. Absolutely not. You'd have the Easter Bunny crashing in to not let him speak.

That's a fairly good point. Liz Harrington on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today. Liz, I want to move to this video that you've been sharing on your Twitter feed, which is just really shocking. And I want you to describe what it is these people are doing in Detroit, Michigan, with these stacks of mail-in ballots. This is stunning.

I mean, somebody needs to do something about it because it happens everywhere.

So we know what True the Vote has been doing. We've got the big movie coming out with Dinesh D'Souza. This is video that's not even in that movie. This is in Detroit, Michigan, another great group, Michigan Citizens for Election Integrity. They've done public records requests.

They've gotten their hands on a lot of surveillance video of these drop boxes that we know were so crooked. And in this particular, and they've been just pouring through hours and hours of tape, and they began sharing a little bit of what they found. In this particular one, it is stunning. The woman drives up to the drop box, walks over, crosses the street, has a stack of mail-in ballots. She gets there.

Another car, which pulls up, hands her a ballot, so she drops it in. She looks at the ballots. She realizes they're not signed. I mean, and again, you're not allowed to return anybody else's ballot in very, very limited circumstances in these states. It's called ballot harvesting.

This is trafficking about.

So she realizes this stack of ballots in her hand aren't signed. She goes back to her car, rifles in her purse, finds a pen and start signing the ballots one by one by one. It's all on camera. and after she's done she gets back out of the car and stuffs the drop box with these fraudulent ballots it's it's stunning and it's in broad daylight we've seen this in other states we know michigan was one of the worst philadelphia they said is the absolute worst but this happened in every swing state more than enough to swing the election results this is widespread fraud much of is caught on camera. It's time we ban drop boxes.

It's time we do real audits. It's time we get to the bottom of this and start arresting people because this is a joke. We can't have our elections this way. Liz, I'm curious, what are you guys doing with this video? Is this being turned over to the authorities?

Yes, I think that Michigan, the local group there, they're going to work. We know in other states, True the Vote has worked with local law enforcement. I mean, Georgia's been a disaster. They completely stonewalled the investigation, but they are seeing good signs in Wisconsin that local sheriff's offices are going to start to move forward and bring cases. And hopefully we can use it in lawsuits.

I mean, if the Republican state legislatures in many of these states aren't going to do their job and aren't going to ban these drop boxes. We need lawsuits that get them out of here. I mean, they're so unsecure, insecure. They can't be used in an election in a first world country. No other country in the world does their elections this way.

I mean, you got a month of early voting, so you can just, you know, keep going back to these drop boxes with mail-ins that are sent all over the place to inactive voters, people that no longer live there. It's a joke. We have to root this out. And I think this movie is going to go a long way to exposing it. And even better, they're going to release all the data they have, all the cell phone tracking data, all the surveillance video they found.

So it gives the ammunition for every patriot in this country to start doing their research, do their public records requests, show the evidence, and then scream it from the rooftops in their local communities to make sure it isn't happening there. I'm with you a thousand percent. And Liz, real quick, before we let you go, my phone has been blowing up. Last night, Uncle Jerry from Coldwater, Mississippi, says, is it true that Trump is coming to northern Mississippi? And I figured we've got you on the line.

Is he coming to our neck of the woods? I believe he is. I believe it's for the American Freedom Tour. I mean, they've had different dates, different cities. They were going to be in Birmingham.

I believe that got sued.

So I think so. I will have to check American Freedom Tour.

So that's different. And that's different from the Save America rallies that the president's going to do. Right. It's still President Trump. He goes and he speaks, but it's not a rally.

That makes perfect sense. All right. Well, that's good news because I have like 300 family members that I didn't realize I had. They're like, oh, can we get into CNN? You know how it goes.

Oh, yeah, absolutely. All right. Well, Liz, I can let you commiserate now that we won't be able to watch CNN Plus together. I just don't know what I'm going to watch now. All right.

Liz Harrington, everybody, on the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker Line. Liz, thanks a lot. And folks, great intel on what's really going on around America. And there are these videos that are finally beginning to surface. And this is the evidence, the evidence that demands an explanation.

So we've got these videos that clearly show illegal criminal activity happening at ballot boxes.

Now the question is, who's going to hold those people accountable? All right, 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. That's 844-747-8868. I've got to tell you, friends, about what's happening with the economy.

It's crazy. The stock market's all over the place. Gas prices, don't even get me started. The stock market, extremely volatile. You just heard Grace talking about how people are starting to make decisions about things as simple as internet subscriptions and things of that nature.

So a lot of people are concerned about their investments. And I don't blame you. I am too. But the good news is you do have an option, and it's about gold, investing in gold. Gold prices are rising as investors turn to gold for protection.

All right, peoples. Good to have you back with us. 844-747-8868. Let's go to the phone lines. Jody in Georgia.

Jody, how are you today? I'm doing great. How are you today? You know, I'm doing well. I realized I forgot to finish writing my speech that I'm supposed to deliver tonight, Jody.

So it's kind of like when you show up for class and you forgot your homework. I'm kind of feeling like that right now. Oh, no. You'll get it done. No problem.

Thank you for the encouragement. I needed that, Jody. Thank you. All right. Enough of analyzing me, Jody.

What's on your mind? You're going to analyze me, right?

Well, what's on my mind is I was driving home and I heard a previous caller talking about the reason why President Trump lost the election due to the negative media coverage. But in fact, in lieu of the fact that there was so much negative media narrative against President Trump, they just bombarded him with negative media. media, he still won the election.

So I know a lot of people, they seem to forget the fact that President Trump did win the election. No, I understand what you're saying, and I understand what he was saying, too. The reality is that we needed that kind of evidence early on, and there's going to become a point where we have got to focus on getting Trump back into office and then we can deal with the you know with fixing the voter fraud stuff because no doubt it's i mean the videos that liz harrington shared jody those are pretty those are pretty damning right and and my problem is is that i am worried that like stacy abrams it seems like she's not doing a lot of campaigning and i'm asking myself why just like joe biden he didn't do a lot of campaigning, but yet he's sitting there in the Oval Office.

So I'm just afraid that the fix might be in. Yes. No matter what we know is the truth, somehow or another, they're going to create some kind of pandemic or something and steal the election again. And what do we do? That's my question.

In your opinion, what can we do to stop that? But Jody, we've got to get out in massive numbers. There was a study done that showed, what, about a third, only a third of conservative Christian voters actually got out and participated in the election.

So if we actually – we have the numbers. It's just a matter of getting people out there and voting.

Now, if you get – let's say you get hundreds of millions of new voters out there and we still lose, I think you're going to have people rioting in the streets. And because because, you know, conservatives are not going to stand for this. Yeah, I believe the election was stolen in 2020. And let's let's be honest here. If the Republicans don't generate the numbers to retake the House, I'm going to be very suspect.

There's no way the Democrats are going to be able to hold on to Congress with the way they've governed. Correct.

So I think, Jody, we've got to we're going to have to get our neighbors out. to mobilize our churches, and we're going to have to get out and engage in the political process. And when we do, the numbers are just clearly on our side when we do that.

Okay. All right. Well, Jody, thanks for the call, and thanks for listening to us, and thanks for letting me complain about my day. Doug in Gainesville, Georgia, on the line. Hey, Doug, what's going on?

How are you doing, Todd? I'm good, thank you. hey i just want to say that i am a proud american and i'm ashamed of my government why are you well i got that there that could be a laundry list what specifically duck it's not why it's the whole trump the biden thing you know my my saddest thing was i served in the army i served in the gulf or i served in um somalia i served in haiti um what no matter what the cause, we did what we had to do. But now with Ukraine, I feel 100%, you know, if I was still in the military, that's where I want to be, because this is nothing less than genocide, nothing worse than what Hitler did, and we should be more involved. I'm not saying, you know, World War Three or, you know, a new world war with Russia, but we should be helping a lot more than what we Yeah, I think the president announced, was it today, I believe he announced that we're giving them $800 million more.

We had previously, I think, given, what, $500 million.

So, I mean, that's a lot of money. The question is, how is it being used, and what exactly do they need to beat the Russians? Right, and I agree. And everybody plays sneaky and dirty. I know we're Americans, but I think that there's certain times that we should play their games, maybe unmarked drones, unmarked military personnel over there to help the Ukrainians, because it is so sad to see every day when I turn the news on and see people dying.

It kills me. I'm 53 years old. If I could go back in the military, or if I could, was able, I would go to Ukraine and fight for those people. It's sad. And I'm 54, and I hear you.

um it is it's a terrible thing that's happening over there and and i'm with you i don't want to be 50 years down the road uh and having the national conversation that we were having about the holocaust why did you know nobody knew that was happening but we have a pretty good indication of what they're doing to the ukrainian people right now and doug i think you used the right word it is a genocide and so at what point do we all step in as humans and say hey look we've got to intervene here. In all honesty, people are just afraid of nuclear war. Hey, Doug, I got to run here. We are late for a break. Thank you for listening to us.

Folks, coming up, West Virginia's governor is very concerned about something. He is concerned about nuclear war. And the governor of West Virginia says that he is concerned about a nuclear strike. Quote, we should all be concerned about nuclear strikes. And I'm curious, is that something that you are concerned about?

He was talking about that on Newsmax. And the bigger question is, are you prepared for a nuclear war? Do you have a game plan? 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show.

Live from the Liberty University studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-toting, Bible-clinging, deplorable American. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes. Oh, yeah.

All right, I was watching this video during the commercial break. Hello, everybody. I'm Todd Starnes. Good to have you with us today. So I'm watching this video, and I don't know what's going on over at JetBlue.

But, man, people are just – I don't know what's happening, but people are really freaking out over JetBlue.

So there are a couple of big stories, one of them being Bill O'Reilly. And so Bill O'Reilly got into it with a JetBlue ticket agent over the fact that the flights have been delayed like, I don't know, seven, eight hours. And O'Reilly was asked about it last night on Newsmax. We're going to get to that in just a little while. But Mike Tyson.

Now, I don't know why I just find this fascinating. But, you know, Grace Baker, there are a lot of people out there that like to fly cheap. Yeah, that's fair. And, you know, if you're getting, I mean, what is it, Spirit Airlines? Is that the new one that just launched over at Memphis International Airport?

Yeah, and your spirit, you hope your spirit gets to your destination. I don't know. Yeah, it's, I mean, your life is kind of, you know. But I was listening to the morning news anchor, a guy by the name of Ben Dieter here at KWAM, our flagship radio station. And Dieter, he's one of these cheapos, so he doesn't like to spend a lot of money on the airline tickets, and he says he would be willing to put his life on the line for a cheap airline ticket.

He likes to live on the edge. I am not that person. I'll fly, and I'm not a snob when it comes to airlines, but I'm not flying one that I don't know if I'm going to get to my destination in this generation. I'm a snob. I am an absolute snob.

You are. I really am. I only fly first class, and I fly Delta Airlines. And if Delta doesn't go there, I don't need to go there. That is my philosophy in life.

I will fly American Airlines, but it's – and look, I don't have a lot of – I'm not a big extravagant person, but when I travel, it's got to be first class all the way. Everyone has their things that they choose to spend their money on. That's right. And I do. I just enjoy drinking my Baptist martini out of a real glass.

I like having the biscotti cookies served on the little silver platter with the little doily. I like that stuff. But also, I like it because during the mask mandates back in the day, like a few days ago, they would sort of leave you alone if you were in first class. Wow. I could hear them whipping and beating people in coach.

But, you know, those of us... You're just sipping your drink. I'm drinking my Baptist martini. Maybe that was a woman being beat. I don't know.

Let me take another sip. Could you please turn the air conditioning up so I don't have to hear the weeping and the moaning in coach? Tell them to quiet down back there. It makes me a terrible person.

So that's why I'm sort of surprised to hear that Bill O'Reilly and Mike Tyson are flying JetBlue. Wait, Mike Tyson, is that like Tyson Foods? No, Mike Tyson. No, not Tyson Foods. Not the chicken guy.

The boxer. Oh, that guy. The guy who likes to nibble on ears. The big guy. The big guy.

So here's how the story goes. TMZ has somebody just texted me. They said, Todd is bougie. What does that mean? Bougie.

It means you're, well, you're fancy. You like the fancy things in life. Oh, okay. Bourgeois. No, bougie.

All right. TMZ reporting that Mike Tyson.

So again, I just find it fascinating that Mike Tyson flies JetBlue, which is a discount. And I like JetBlue. They don't fly into Memphis at all, so there's really no reason for me to fly JetBlue. Mike Tyson was on board a jetliner, and there were some guys on board, and they were pestering Mike Tyson.

So it just seems to me, if you have Superman on your flight, or you have a grizzly bear on your flight, or Mike Tyson, you're probably going to want to leave those people alone. Yes. But Mike Tyson, according to TMZ, was very gracious. People were coming up and asking for autographs or photographs on the plane. and um you know somebody did that to me once they said can we get your can we get your autograph can we take a picture with you and i said sure no problem and and they thought i was drew carry i had a crew cut at the time and they and i had black glasses and they thought i was drew carry from the price is right oh they did and they said oh thank you mr carry and i'm like you're welcome girls i'm just like have a great day let somebody else break the news to them I'm like, Plinko.

No, no. I felt bad for him because you know what happened?

Somebody down the road, they're at a party, and they're having kind of a one-up, and you're like, well, I met so-and-so.

Well, I met Drew Carey, and I got my picture with him. Prove it. And he said Plinko to me. And they said, let me see that photograph. And they're like, that's not Drew Carey.

That's Todd Starnes. Who's Todd Starnes? I was going to say that would be worse if they didn't know who you were.

So Mike Tyson's being a good guy about all of this. And, you know, he's just wanting to sip his Baptist martini if they serve those on JetBlue. And he's having a good old time. And then some drunk bozo keeps, like, pestering and literally heckling. And I've seen the video, and it's just there's a lot of profanity.

So we're not going to play it for you. It would just be one big old long censor. The guy was poking Mike Tyson. And I just... Poke the bear.

you can't poke the bear you can't pull you can't pull on superman's cape and you don't poke the bear or touch todd starns glasses and they well they they got a beat down according to tmz mike tyson unleashed on that guy the guy is lucky to still have a face attached to his his head True.

So in that way, I think Mike Tyson was pretty gracious. Fortunately, I don't think anybody was arrested. I think the guy got what he deserved. And can we not go back to that kind of a place in American society where, you know, you just, you don't need to involve the police. Mike Tyson took care of business.

The guy was being a bud head, a jerk face, and Mike Tyson rearranged his face.

Well, let's face it, we don't have enough police officers to handle all of these things. And you know what was fascinating about this story, Grace Baker? You know what happened after the guy lost his nose? Do you know what happened? What?

He sat down in his seat and he behaved himself. There you go. Problem solved. You didn't need to bring the police in. Gave him a knuckle sandwich and he was satisfied.

You know what? You settle it like men. But what an idiot. Honestly. How drunk do you have to be to pick a fight with Mike Tyson on JetBlue?

And so that brings me to Bill O'Reilly.

So, look, Bill O'Reilly was captured on video. And, again, Bill O'Reilly is worth at least $100 million. He could fly his own private charter jet, but I guess Bill's pinching the pennies. You know, he lost his day job at Fox, and I guess, you know, times are tough. We've all been to Kroger.

We know what that's like. Hey I go to Kroger almost every day It tough It tough Where do you go I go to Kroger Oh okay I telling you it tough You go there and you spending all this money and Bill O they have Kroger on Long Island. And you know, he's getting whatever Bill O'Reilly likes to eat. You know, whether that's, I don't know, Italian food, Mediterranean food, falafels, I don't know. You know, he's a plain potato chip kind of guy.

That's what I think. Maybe book sales aren't going well.

So he's trying to, you know, budget. I don't know. But he's flying JetBlue. And so anyway, he's there. He was going to the Turks and Caicos.

That's where he was going.

So he was heading out on vacation, shows up at the airport. And, you know, at JFK, which is, by the way, it's a terrific airport. And I flew out of JFK tons of times. But you've got to get there a couple of hours early if you're doing an international flight. And so anyway, they were announcing that the flights were delayed.

And delayed and delayed. And O'Reilly said all these people were finally coming up to him because he's Bill O'Reilly, no spin zone. And they're like, Bill, can you help us out here?

So Bill basically was elected by the mob to go to the ticket agent and say, dude, what's going on here? Because at that point had been seven-hour delay. Man. And the guy gets all huffy. And you can't do that to Bill O'Reilly.

We've all seen the videos. Bill's got a little temper. and Bill went bonkers on this guy. And, you know, the police weren't called nothing like that, but Bill gave him the what for. And he used some rather salty language.

Not suitable for radio. No. Probably not suitable. And Bill was on Newsmax last night, and he was talking about this, and they brought it up. I'm like, oh, boy.

When is Bill coming on the show? Let's see. in about three weeks. Oh, sir, we've got a little bit of time, so we can't ask him about it. But I would have asked him about it if Bill was on.

I mean, Bill's a regular guy on the program, and we would have asked him about it.

So I was watching this interview last night on Newsmax, and it was pretty fascinating because O'Reilly says, didn't do anything wrong. He says, that was righteous indignation. And he says, I probably shouldn't have used the language. And he admitted that, acknowledged that. and he said, but I tell you, it was justified.

And you know what? I think he's got a point there because the problem here, and they're always blaming it on the weather, these flight delays. It's not the weather. That's like me every time I have a stuffy nose. It's the weather.

They don't have enough people. What? What, me? Yes, your nose. What does that have to do with it?

It's not stuffy today, but I'm just saying every time I have a headache or anything, I always go. You've got to work with me here, Grace. You've got to work with me. Let's stay focused, Grace Baker. I'm sorry.

So Bill O'Reilly. Bill. I lost my train of thought. Have you seen the weather today, by the way? Stop it.

So Bill O'Reilly says, you know what? I was justified by getting out there and having a come to Jesus moment. And I think he's right because it's not the weather. What's happening? These pilots, these airlines do not have enough staffers.

This is still a residual China virus issue where people just do not want to come back to work. The only thing, though, I feel bad for those workers because they're not the ones in control of it. And they're having to take literally all the heat. No, I get that. I get.

Oh, by the way, I've got to read this breaking news. We didn't have it in the budget.

Sorry.

Well, you're not kidding. I mean, at least at least Rush Limbaugh had like a breaking news alert. Yeah, we've got grace. Inflation's bad. We had to cut it out.

We have grace duting into a microphone. president trump just weighing in on cnn uh congratulations to cnn plus on their decision to immediately fold for a lack of ratings or viewers in any way shape or form it was like an empty desert out there despite spending hundreds of millions of dollars and the hiring of low-rated chris wallace a man who tried so hard to be his father mike but lacked the talent and whatever else is necessary to be a star. Jeez, hello. That's an expensive desert. In any event, it's just one more piece of CNN and fake news that we don't have to bother with anymore.

True that. All right. So I have a question here. Good for you, Mr. President.

So here's the question. Do you think Mike Tyson and Bill O'Reilly were in the right here? I mean, I don't necessarily have a problem with men settling things as men. You know, that used to be the way things were done. No need to involve the police.

You just settle it like men. 844-747-8868. That's our toll-free telephone number. 844-747-8868. This is the Todd Stearns Show.

Triggering microaggressions from coast to coast. It's Todd Stearns. Is that play that funky music white boy? Oh, wow. All right.

There you go. We're woke like that. Welcome back, everybody. Good to have you with us. Todd Starnes here hanging out with you.

And by the way, our friends over at Liberty University, they've got a great thing going on for moms and dads.

So if you live in Middle America, which is flyover country is what they're talking about, they've got a special scholarship just for you. And all you need to do is text the word STARNS. That's my last name, by the way. Todd STARNS. Just text STARNS to the number 49596.

and you're going to get some info on this Liberty University Middle America scholarship. Text STARNS to the number 49596. All right. Greta Van Fleet is in hot water. That is a rock group.

Their front man took to Instagram to apologize for sporting Native American clothing.

So what was the guy dressed up like an Indian? Is that that was it?

So he was dressed up like an Indian. And I understand Kyle, our board op, is like a huge Greta Van Fleet fan. Is that true? He's he's giving us the thumb, the thumb up. Yes.

All right. Followers of the band got the singer's attention by adding a hashtag and a flurry of social media post. They were upset because he wore sacred indigenous wear. This is according to the website Ultimate Classic Rock.

So the lead singer wrote this. His name is Josh. Is it Josh Kizcup is his name? To our indigenous fans, I see you. I just can't.

People, stop apologizing. What do you think is going to happen once you apologize? You think they're going to just hug you and wish you well and let you go on with your life? No! Don't apologize.

Wear your, I don't know, moccasins or Indian headdress, your feathers. I don't care. If you have a pampoose, I don't know. Is that a word? I don't know.

he says i see you i've i've taken time to listen and gather my thoughts my appreciation for indigenous culture is bigger than myself i recognize the harm that ignorance can have are marginalized communities something i've never wanted to perpetuate hate disrespect prejudice of any kind are not welcome in this community as i've come into adulthood i've been able to grow and learn this growth has not stopped and will not stop here who in the world did he offend oh it's the chippewas didn't that well there's a country music song about that indian outlaw was it the daddy was a chippewa or mama was a chippewa i can't remember somebody was a Choctaw on that song. Grace, fact check me on this, please. I'm an Indian outlaw. I have no words. Half Cherokee, half Choctaw.

Oh, gosh. Was it mama or daddy was a Chippewa? I don't know. All right, that's right. You're fact checking me.

Look it up. I'm trying. Google it like people do for our trivia before they call in. Wow, you're calling people cow. We know who you are.

We know what you people are doing.

Okay, okay.

Now, what do you want to know?

So it's, I'm an Indian outlaw, half Cherokee, half Choctaw. What's the next line? My baby, she's a Chippewa. My baby, she's a Chippewa. She's one of a kind.

All my friends call me Bearclaw. The village chieftain is my papa. He gets orders from my mama. No, mama. Maumal.

Maumal. Maumal. Sorry.

So is that the, hold on, is that the Indian in YMCA, or was that a different Indian? Oh, gosh. I don't, there is an Indian, right? Don't assume, yes, but don't assume.

Well, okay, that's the official gay national anthem, according to President Trump, so I didn't want to mix up the Indian tribes. Anyway. Oh, wait, there's a really weird line in here. They gather round my teepee? The teepee, yes, that's, no, that's not what you think it is, Grace.

Late at night, trying to catch a peek at me. The teepee is what they sleep in, the little teepees. Buffalo briefs. Oh, sweet Lord. You made me look it up, just for the record.

I need a Baptist martini. All right, God bless the Chippewas. whoever you are we'll be right back america i think All right, folks. Welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. We're good to have you.

We're glad to have you with us today. Want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line? Our good friend from Newsmax TV, Hogan Gidley, joins us. Hogan, hope you're doing good. Doing really well.

Seems like closer and closer. Every show we do together, Todd, I'm getting very, very near geographically to Memphis. I'm in Atlanta today at the America First Policy Summit, and it's so good to get out of that swamp. I can't even tell you.

Well, I don't blame you. And come on over to Memphis. We got it. The weather is great. No humidity so far.

And the ribs are on the smoker, my friend.

So far. That'll last another, what, week at the most? Give it some time. Let's enjoy it, Hogan, while we can. That's right.

That's right. That's right. Hey, look, big town hall last night. And I just have to give huge props to Newsmax. you guys are just really up the game and really doing a great job covering politics and you guys had a town hall in Ohio with J.D.

Vance who is running for the U.S. Senate and has President Trump's approval Absolutely Look, I think it's important for voters to always hear from their candidates directly and I think Newsmax is doing a really good job putting those folks directly in front of the people that they could potentially represent It's a big, obviously, Senate race in a very important battleground state. And, you know, I think that the company itself just wants to be at the fore of ensuring that voters get to kick those tires a little bit before they cast their votes. I think that's a very, very, very vital part of the process. And I'm glad we're a part of it.

You know, I know that President Trump has endorsed J.D., but I think a lot of Trump loyalists, people who are out there fighting, MAGA supporters, They hear the things that J.D. said about the president, and once compared him to what the American Hitler was the phrase used. He's been out there and saying all these horrible things, yet he said during the town hall that he is a convert. Do you think that he delivered a convincing message that he has seen the light?

Well, look, I think that really is up to the person who gave the endorsement, and that man is Donald Trump. And I love the explanation of why the endorsement came and to hear Donald Trump say, you know, look, this guy said some things that weren't too great to Trump in years past. But he's now doing things in spades that would actually benefit the Make America Great Again mantra and the America First policies that Donald Trump implemented. And so Donald Trump decided to pull the trigger on it. Look, I know it's a crowded field.

There are a lot of folks in that race that are getting some serious play and some serious looks. And that's the way this process works. And so typically, if I were working for a candidate again, an endorsement is a good thing to have. It doesn't really matter much. In this particular instance, when you have someone like Donald Trump endorsing, obviously that carries with it a ton of weight, much different than any endorsement in past years.

So I think it's significant for the J.D. Vance campaign. And I think whatever Donald Trump saw in J.D. obviously is something that resulted in an endorsement. And those things are coveted around this country.

So you mentioned you're in Atlanta. There is a huge fight underway surrounding Marjorie Taylor Greene. There's a judge who is going to let an effort to block her from running for office, running for re-election, to proceed. And there's a lot of concern over where that might go. And just a few seconds ago, man, let me stop here.

What is going on out there with the horn honking?

Well, we're out here in front of a hotel, and I'm trying to get back inside because, my goodness, people are excited. I guess they're just happy to be alive in the South.

Well, I know you're in Atlanta because the horn honking around Memphis, there would be gunfire. That's exactly right. That's just the way it is. But anyway, President Trump just a few moments ago put out a lengthy statement defending Marjorie Taylor Greene and really blaming the governor, Brian Kemp, of Georgia for what the – and the way the president framed it. She is now going through hell in their attempt to unseat her, just more of an election mess in Georgia.

Are you hearing that from people there in the Atlanta area? Look, what I'm hearing is people are really frustrated at the process and a lot of the fake outrage surrounding January 6th. And there have been attempts to unseat other people like Madison Cawthorn and others and prevent them from running. It is so interesting to me that the term insurrection gets thrown around a lot. It's almost like the term racist at this point.

It doesn't have a meaning in the sense that there is nobody involved in January 6th that's been charged with insurrection. That is a literal legal term and has some serious punishment with it, as you can imagine.

So the fact that these folks continue to go after people in and around that day in our nation's history, it shows you a few things. One is they really don't have anything as it relates to insurrection on any of those people. But number two is the Democrats just refuse to talk about anything that matters to the American people, like the economy, like gas prices, like the southern border, like crime, because they have no solutions for those things. In fact, their policies are designed on purpose to hurt middle class America, to allow people to flood our southern border, to defund the police and see crime spike.

so they've got nothing to sell if that's the case uh the democrats continue to be cornered the way they are politically then they're going to lash out any way they can to just try and drive up their base that's why joe biden is talking about gun control measures and and going after january 6th folks because they've got nothing to sell and what they do have to sell the american people aren't buying yeah no you're right and we're just gonna and this is how if they're successful with Marjorie Taylor Greene, this is how they're going to go after President Trump and try to get him off the ballot should he decide to run in 2024? Oh, no question. I think it's part of a grand plan to prevent anybody who doesn't agree with their entire woke leftist radical agenda off of any ballot. They don't like to have those conversations. They don't like to debate the issues because, as I said before, they just resort to name calling.

You're an insurrectionist. You're a racist. You're a Marxist. All the things when in actuality, the left always, as I've said on your show before, always accuses the right of things they themselves are guilty of actually doing. They don't want to run a race against someone like Donald Trump who actually improved the lives of all Americans because the people of this country see what they had just a few short months ago versus what they have now.

And a lot of folks are around dinner tables and around the kitchen talking about different issues that are hurting them and saying, hey, maybe I could withstand a mean tweet or two if we could actually have a chance to build a future that's somewhat prosperous as opposed to leadership that's taking us down a road that really destroys America. It's a great point. Hogan, we're going to leave it there. Have fun in Atlanta. Where are you heading next?

Are you on a road trip here? No, sir. I'm back to D.C., sadly, to the swamp. And then we've got some election integrity fights we're still battling there in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and some other states with legislatures that are still engaged. And then we started a big, massive voter roll cleanup effort.

You'll be hearing more about that soon, and we can discuss that on the show as well. It's really going to make a big impact for the 2022 midterms. All right, Hogan Gidley, our friend from Newsmax TV. Hogan, enjoy Atlanta. We'll look forward to having you back on very soon.

Thanks so much, Todd. Talk soon. All right. So here's the latest on Marjorie Taylor Greene, by the way. She has been trying to block this lawsuit that's challenging her eligibility to run for re-election.

So a group out of Texas has filed a lawsuit, and they allege that MTG's remarks supporting the people on January the 6th, all of the Trump supporters in Washington, D.C., they're alleging that she was encouraging political violence and encouraging people to violate the 14th Amendment. And what does the 14th Amendment do?

Well, the 14th Amendment bans people who have engaged in an insurrection from serving in Congress.

So they're alleging that Green participated in an insurrection. And this is exactly how they're going to go after Donald Trump if he decides to run in 2024. and it's outrageous that a judge has allowed this court case to go on. This is from MSDNC. In accordance with Georgia law, the voters are asking Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to rule on whether Green's actions disqualify her candidacy.

And let me tell you something. He goes against MTG. They're going to run that guy out of the state. And he better keep on running until he gets to California because they're not going to tolerate that in Alabama or Mississippi or any of the other southern states. Green's attorneys have tried to get the case thrown out or stayed, but U.S.

District Judge Amy Totenberg cited multiple reasons why it should be allowed to proceed. She says that Green's failure to cite persuasive legal authority or even include a developed legal argument that the state of Georgia lacks the authority to enforce an existing constitutional provision is one of those.

Well, this is nonsense, absolute nonsense.

So now President Trump is weighing in, and just as we were just talking here with Hogan, the president wrote this statement. I want to read some of it to you. The governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, perhaps in collusion with radical left Democrats, have allowed a horrible thing to happen to a very popular Republican Congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene. She is now going through hell in their attempt to unseat her, just more of an election mess in Georgia, including the fact they will still allow easily corruptible ballot boxes for all to cheat with and have not been able to get a little thing called signature varication approved. Unlike other Republicans, this governor does everything possible to hurt the voting process in Georgia, including his approval of a disastrous consent decree and not calling a special session that was requested by Georgia's Republican senators.

He refused both. Both of those failures were a disaster for the Republican Party, for our country. Even the true the vote people, great patriots, will soon announce massive ballot harvesting in Georgia and other states. Said Kemp was the worst of all governors to deal with. He didn't want to do anything to help with finding this massive ballot harvesting fraud.

Brian Kemp should be voted out of office. Vote for David Perdue.

Now, I'm telling you, a lot of people in Georgia are telling me they love Trump, but they're voting for Kemp because Kemp reopened the state during the China virus pandemic. Right. So my question to you, Georgia voters, do you I mean, ultimately, this is your question. The people who live in Marjorie's district are going to have to decide this. But it looks like a judge is going to decide whether or not she should be able to run for reelection.

844-747-8868. Lester from Georgia. Welcome to the program, Lester. Thank you, sir. How are you doing, Mr.

Lawrence? I'm doing well. Thank you very much. I would just like to say I've never called in before. I've wanted to 100 times.

But when you talk about Marjorie Taylor Greene, who I support 110%, I voted for Kemp when he first ran. I was behind him 110%, but when he, when it showed on all the news stations, them pulling out those ballots out from underneath the table that was not folded, It only had Biden's name on it and all this kind of stuff after they had run the Republican people out of the office. And then Kemp comes on afterward and said, there's no proof of voter fraud whatsoever. I'm like, seriously? Seriously?

You know, so I'm behind Purdue 110%. I own property in Dawson and Versailles County, and I've got my whole front of my property lined with David Perdue signs. And, you know, the last Perdue we had was Sonny Perdue, and he was an excellent governor. You know, I know him, and you're absolutely right. He's a great guy.

I got to hear him speak at Truett McConnell University a few years back, and I really liked old Sonny. He's a good guy, and David, from what I understand, is his cousin.

So, you know, keeping it in the family and making it all good, and standing behind Trump 210%, and I'm going to tell you what, there's more of us out here than people want to know and believe, but the thing is it's just the majority of us we're so busy working we don't have time to to get out and talk and do all the things that these other people who that we're paying uh uh welfare and stuff for them to get out and do and i'm and if i'm offending somebody good because you know that's it if i'm not offending somebody i'm not doing my part i mean you know we're me and my wife both ordained ministers and i tell people stuff all day long and uh what the word of god says and people get upset and I say, I didn't write it. I just repeat it.

Well, good for you, Lester. And, you know, we need more of that. We need more people out there, you know, speaking their mind. And let's get real for a second. Let's get real for a second, Lester.

You and I both know that there are people who desperately need a helping hand. That's the way life is.

Sometimes you're going to go through a difficult time and you may have to go on welfare. You may need some assistance. That's the whole point is it's a it is a temporary thing, a temporary fix, you're not meant to, like, have generations of your family on welfare. Absolutely, boss. And I understand that.

And we help people. You know, the church was the first initial welfare system. The church is what helped people before, I believe it was Franklin Dillon and Roosevelt started Social Security and welfare. But the thing is, is I'm all about giving somebody a hand up, not a handout. That's it.

You know, the word of God says in Proverbs that a man that don't work won't eat. You see, the government took over what the church should have been doing from day one, and look what happened. It's a mess. It's a complete mess. And now we have generations of Americans, white and black, by the way.

This is not a racial thing. I think there are more whites on welfare in america than anybody else this is an american problem and we got to fix it yes sir they they're using it like a uh it's a job i mean seriously i mean yeah i own i own 14 businesses and i i have problems hiring people all the time and and i pay really really good wages and you know and the thing is people just don't want to work they're like you know i've had people quit me say boss we just can't keep up with you and your wife you know because we work $16, $18 most every day. And, you know, we try to – we give out more money a year to help people, and it's not necessarily just straight to the churches, to the church of Jesus Christ, you know, the people in the church. We don't give to the buildings so much as we do to people who need it. Lester, I got to jump in here, my friend, because the computer's going to cut us off.

But I like how you think and Lester you said you wanted to call in a hundred times don't don't wait another hundred times give us a call back I like the way you think hey folks again if you're in South Haven DeSoto County Mississippi I'll be giving the keynote address tonight at the DeSoto Reagan dinner Grace Baker's going to be there we'll be signing books and we want to see you out there at the Lander Center tonight and Saturday April 30th still plenty of time to get your tickets for that a huge all-day conservative event over at Mid-America Baptist Seminary. Folks, get out there, have a great day, and be good, America.
