Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clinging, deplorable American. That's us! That's right! I love this American Yeah. Todd Stars.
Well, hello everybody. Happy President's Day to you. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Program, and we are so happy that you have joined us today. Uh ladies and gentlemen. Over the weekend, something remarkable happened, and it's one of these things that it happens every now and again in the world of politics.
When a speech is delivered that has such a profound Impact on the American people. I think you go back to Franklin Roosevelt on the day that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. I think that you can go to JFK's inauguration address. When he asked not what you can do for your country, or whatever you know that is. I always get that one mixed up.
It's Ronald Reagan and his great speeches over the years. George W. Bush standing on the pile of rubble. on on nine on on just a few days after nine eleven with the megaphone in his hand. Those are quintessential moments.
Those are moments that really sort of stick to the American people. And I do believe that Marco Rubio's address at the Munich Security Conference is. is in fact going to be One of those Moments And the Secretary of State just delivered a a powerful defense of Western civilization. And it was such an effective and powerful speech. People are losing their ever loving minds over this.
But ladies and gentlemen, based upon that speech, and you can forget about all the great things that Marco Rubio has done for the administration, I think he has probably been one of the top three secretaries of state in American history. Um when you when you look at the At all of the things Rubio's done, just shove all of that aside. Just pretend for a moment he did none of that. All right. And just on the speech that he delivered at the Munich Security Conference.
That man deserves to be the next president of these great United States. This is the man who will carry forward the America First banner. And understand something about America First. America First does not mean that we abandon our allies. America First means we put the interest of the United States of America before everything.
And as a result of that, we are a stronger, more secure nation that can go and help our allies when they need assistance. That's what the America First Movement is all about. It's not some sort of an isolationist thing. I know there are some out there that believe that we ought to just completely pull. military troops out of every country.
Bring everybody back home and be done with it. But what Rubio did. in in Munich, Germany, was quite remarkable. Because he He delivered a Really a warning. And it wasn't so much the canary in the coal mine sort of a speech, but he delivered a warning.
that Western civilization is under fierce attack at this very hour. And we have seen this play out across Western Europe. We are watching it unfold now in real time here in the United States of America. And I would contend that both political parties have their heads up their wazoos. and are ignoring what I consider to be a clear and present danger to the Republic, and that is the rise of Islam.
Now you can have a debate over religious liberty, and that is all well and good. But the fact of the matter is that the United States of America was founded to be a Christian nation. and it was founded on the precepts and the teachings of both the Old and New Testament. And all of those ideas are being shoved to the side, or they're being obliterated by the Islamists. Understand this.
Radical Islam, let me back up here. Islam is not compatible. To our way of life. It is not compatible. to the U.S.
Constitution. And Marco Rubio laid this out so brilliantly. Talking about the founding of America 250 years ago, but going back and saying the roots of our people, the roots of who we are as Americans, were actually found in Europe. Marco Rubio says, The man who settled and built the nation of my birth arrived on our shores, bringing the memories and the traditions and the Christian faith of their ancestors as a sacred inheritance, which led to what he called an unbreakable link, an unbreakable bond between the old world and the new. He goes on to talk about Christianity.
Cut number 16, please. For the United States and Europe, we belong together. America was founded 250 years ago, but the roots began here on this continent long before. The men who settled and built the nation of my birth arrived on our shores carrying the memories and the traditions and the Christian faith of their ancestors as a sacred inheritance, an unbreakable link between the old world and the new. We are part of one civilization.
Western civilization. We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry, and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we Have fallen air. And so, this is why we Americans may sometimes come off as a little direct and urgent in our council. This is why President Trump demands seriousness and reciprocity from our friends here in Europe. The reason why, my friends, is because we care deeply.
We care deeply about your future and ours. And if at times we disagree, our disagreements come from our profound sense of concern about a Europe with which we are connected, not just economically, not just militarily, we are connected spiritually and we are connected culturally. We want Europe to be strong. We believe that Europe must survive because the two great wars of the last century Serve for us. As history's constant reminder that ultimately our destiny is and will always be intertwined with yours.
Because we know. Because we know. that the fate of Europe will never be irrelevant to our own.
Well, and it's true. And when you see what's happening in the UK, for example, it's devastating, just devastating. And now here in America, the good people of New York City are beginning to get a little taste of what's been going on. And I say that because Mayor Zoran Mamdami has been elevating the teachings of Islam and shoving aside Christianity. As a matter of fact, there are over, what, two, I think 2.3, 2.2, 2.3 million Catholics in New York City, a massive Catholic population.
And they've been very, the Catholic Church has been very involved. And typically, when there's an inauguration, you invite the archbishop. When there's a new archbishop, you're invited to the installation of the new archbishop. And Mandami has been snubbing the Catholics left and right. And it's becoming a big issue for the Catholic population there.
He did not attend the installation of the new archbishop, and he did not invite. The Archbishop or anyone else from the Catholic Church to attend his Muslim inauguration ceremony. And of course, Ma'am Dahmi is a Ugandan Muslim immigrant to this country.
Now comes word that there are Muslim leaders. In the pro-Palestinian movement. And they are no, this is going to sound outrageous. But they they want the mayor to consider banning dogs. In New York City, I am not making this up.
Not making this up at all. As a matter of fact, a Congressman Randy Fine pointing this out, One pro-Palestinian leader said, Finally, New York City is coming to Islam. Dogs definitely have a place in society, just not as indoor pets. Like we've said all along, they are unclean. This was something posted by Nerdine Kiswani.
And to that, Congressman Randy Fine, the Jewish congressman from Florida, said: So, are you okay with this? What's truly disgusting is that a key Mamdami adviser saying we must give up our dogs because New York City is coming to Islam. We will not be shamed into being conquered like the Europeans. I choose my dog. If you're man enough to debate me, I'll come on your show.
To that, Jake Tapper, the CNN anchor, said, This is disgusting bigotry.
Now, my question is: What is bigoted about? What Randy Fine said. The congressman said very clearly, and I want to this is the quote that has enraged people, quote, if they force us to choose, meaning the Muslims, if they force us to choose, the choice between dogs and Muslims is not a difficult one. And Tapper says, oh, this is disgusting bigotry. What is bigoted about what the congressman said?
Because given the choice here, It looks as though New Yorkers may one day be forced to deal with this issue. They're not just bringing this up in a vacuum. they truly believe that man's best friend is unclean. And right now in New York City, Fayed is welcome, but Faido is not. Again, elections do have consequences.
And that brings us to Another story out of out of New York City. where the the call to prayer is being broadcast Across the city, And this is Th th th this is Really shocking. I will say this. This did not happen. Under Mandami.
This happened under Eric Adams, the former mayor, Eric Adams. And Eric Adams said, hey, look, what we're going to do here is we're going to show tolerance and diversity, so we're going to allow the Muslims to broadcast their prayers to the rest of the city. And I think a couple of times a day in many of these neighborhoods, including my old neighborhood, they now broadcast these prayers on these massive public address systems.
So you're walking down the street, and it's like you're in the middle of Islamabad. It's just Unbelievable. But this is the reality of what's happening in New York City, and this will happen. in your town and in your community. And once the Islamists take hold, then everybody else gets shoved to the side.
And I say that, ladies and gentlemen, because this is the path this is the path we're going down. And there are many Republicans who share this idea, this belief, that we have to allow our nation to be overrun By the Islamists. That's what's going on here.
So, Rubio, in his speech in Munich, to put a bow on this just briefly, I've got a lot more to say about Rubio. But th this speech in Munich was a warning to the rest of the world, but specifically the United States of America, that if we do not put a stop to what's happening here with this unfettered migration from the Third World, Because that's where all of this is coming from. We're importing the danger. If this does not stop, then we will go the way of places like Belgium and France. And the UK.
And Rubio is saying, we don't want that to happen, and we don't want this for you. I mean, the idea right now that people in the UK are literally getting knocks on the door and they're being hauled off to jail for things they actually they just wrote on on social media. That's happening right now in the UK. All right, we got to take a break here. 901-260-5926.
We have a jam-packed show for you today. Steve Hilton, running for governor in California, joins us. Also, Steve Gill and Lee Greenwood is going to join us on this President's Day, plus your calls. What did you think about Rubio's speech? And do you think that speech proved?

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for my neighbors who just got here. They just got here. It's not the neighborly way to send them back, rounding them up in ICE attacks. Would you be kind? Won't you be kind?
I've always wanted to have a neighbor like Rajiv or Rao, Who put twenty four thousand new kids in our low girls' school, so let's make the most of this beautiful day. Before Somali day cares all go away Would you be kind, pretend that you're blind, everyone's your neighbor? Won't you please, won't you please? Please won't you hide? You're a neighbor.
All right. Hello, neighbor. All right. There you go, ladies and gentlemen. The great Paul Shanklin on piano.
There at the Minneapolis Learing Center. Welcome back to the Tonsterns radio show on this President's Day. And I will say that when you look at what's happening in New York City, it is a warning. And the question is: how many of us. Are we willing to stand up and say we're not going to tolerate the Islamists taking over our communities?
I mean, in Texas. And what's happening in Texas is really mind-boggling because there is clearly an effort afoot. To overwhelm Texas with these mosques and with these Islamic neighborhoods. And I understand that an investigation is underway into one of them, the EPIC is what they're calling it. But the reality is, Texas is in the crosshairs.
And I'm not sure if the good church-going Baptists and Methodists in Texas understand what is happening in their communities. Uh I just don't see I Otherwise, you guys in Texas are okay with it. And if that's the case, then we've got big problems as a country. By the way, I want you to meet Tamika Mallory. She is Mayor Zoran Mamdami's new crime adviser.
Take a listen. Cut nine I don't give a damn if they burn down Target. Because targets should be on the streets with us calling for the justice that our people deserve. Don't talk to us about looting. Y'all are the looters.
America has looted black people. America looted the Native Americans when they first came here.
So looting is what you do. We learned it from you. We learned violence from you. Yeah, uh okay, that's uh Tamika Mallory. And what I find fascinating about her is that they announced her as the mayor's new crime advisor, and we thought.
That would be like anti-crime, that she was opposed to crime. But based on her remarks here, it appears that she's in favor of crime.
So there you go. Good luck to all of you small business owners as you are being looted because the mayor's new crime advisor says you guys deserve it. You guys, if you're a small business owner, you deserve to be looted. And then all you folks at Target, man, geez a loose.
So I feel bad for you guys at Target, but it looks like you guys are going to get run out of town as well. All right, we've got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926. That is our telephone number on this President's Day, 901-260-5926. Hey, folks, head over to ToddSterns.com right now.

No, that's not that. On the back side. Ah, New Yorkers are now getting a taste of their own medicine. They're now being awoken by the Islamic call to prayer at 5 a.m. And are then being disturbed a further four times throughout the day by that very same Islamic call to prayer.
How sad Sorry, excuse my lack of empathy. Only I don't know what the f you expected. You elected an Islamist mayor a Socialist Islamist mayor, no less. Zoran despises everything that the United States stands for. Freedom, democracy, might, and capitalism.
So it is absolutely no surprise that he is choosing to disrupt the status quo. Hence the Islamic call to prayer being loudspeakered throughout the city, across the very same city that was victim to the worst attack of all time. And that's probably why, on his path of self-destruction, he also just appointed the attorney. Of the 9-11 Al-Qaeda. to now be the top attorney in New York City.
You know, he's just disrupting the status quo. He wants New York to eat itself from the inside out. And you fools have facilitated this. And my God, did we warn you London has been stuck with Sadiq Khan as mayor for a very long time. We have been stuck with the Islamic Call to Prayer for far too long.
but that should be the very least of your concerns. London has quickly become all but lawless. Crime has skyrocketed. There's two-tier pacing, protecting, you guessed it. The Muslims.
Oh, and the demographic of London has been irreparably changed altered by I'll leave you to guess by whom. Buckle up, New York. Buckle the f. Uh Well, there you go. That coming from somebody across the big pond as they're watching what's happening in New York unfold.
And once the Islamic call to prayer, and I just want you to think about this for a moment. Once the Islamic call to prayer is normalized in cities like, for example, New York City, it's happening in Dearborn, other places, Patterson, New Jersey, for example. It will start happening in smaller towns.
So you folks who live in, say, Gainesville, Georgia, or a Bartlesville, Oklahoma, or. Those of you that live in Salem, Oregon, you too will one day be exposed to this. And who knows, you might get that instead of a 5 a.m. wake-up call on your smartphone, you've got some Muslim yammering into a microphone, waking you up. That's the reality that's about to happen here in the United States of America.
901 260 5926. That's 9012605926. What in the world is going on at Mardi Gras in New Orleans? This is insane.
So A couple of days ago, we told you about the Mardi Gras parades are happening, and they have multiple parades just about every day, and then leading up to Fat Tuesday and then Ash Wednesday.
So now. There was a report, and we shared this with you last week. The crew of Carrollton, which I believe is the fourth oldest crew, that's K-R-E-W-E, Mardi Gras crew in the entire city. They've been doing this for a very long time.
So the reporting was that members of one of the floats We're literally trying to hurt police officers along the parade route by throwing beads.
Now typically, you know, they'll toss beads if you've been to Maudi Gras. Dylan, you ever been to Maudi Gras in New Orleans? I have not. I have not participated.
So you're a good church-going Christian, man, so you probably wouldn't. I am, Todd, but I have to admit that I do know what the bees are for, and I do know why they are tossed. And you know how that, yes, the ladies have to do something. Yes. All right.
So, anyway, these police officers are standing there doing their jobs, and all of a sudden they're getting like pelted. I mean they're hurling these beads and trinkets at the police officers. And there was a lot of anger about that. The mayor came out and condemned it, and they didn't end up arresting anybody, but there are people, Senator John Kennedy. Last week took to the well of the Senate.
To condemn all of this stuff.
So now we're getting word that another Another crew, the crew of Tux, Was involved.
Well, pardon me, I'll get to that story in just a moment. This was the crew of Thoth. T-H-O-T-H. I hope I pronounced that correctly. Anyway, one of their floats, the riders on float 32, were removed from the parade route after they were caught throwing.
beads at federal agents. This is according to the New Orleans Police Department. They said the writers of Channel 4, WWL, the great historic WWL TV. Riders were removed from the float after reports that riders on the float were aggressively throwing beads at federal agents. No arrests were made.
And of course, the event came as they, and the incident came rather, days after writers were removed from afloat. um during the Crew of Carrollton parade for the same offence. City leaders have said aggressive or dangerous behavior will not be tolerated during parades, yet, it's continuing because they're not doing anything about it. You know, if these if these riders on the floats Are targeting police officers and ICE agents, federal agents. They need to be held accountable for that.
And now this story. The Crew of Tux I just don't get it. According to WWL, the crew of Tuck says they're taking action after photos circulating on social media appear to show a black doll hanging by beads from a float. The crew of Tux has apologized. They said we so basically were lynching the black doll on the parade float.
What? What? What is wrong with you people? We intend to fully investigate this incident and the responsible riders will no longer be permitted to have any association with the parade. The Council President, JP Morrell, and the mayor have already contacted crew leadership to ensure there is accountability.
What is depicted is not free speech. It is a disturbing effigy meant to harm and intimidate families and children.
Now, my question is: do we know for certain what it was? Were the dolls just hanging there and then they were tossing them? Or was this something that was. Made up to look like what it appears to be. We do not know.
The mayor says the display is deeply offensive, unacceptable, and has no place in our city. They're more upset, by the way, over this than they are the fact that they're pelting Federal agents and cops with beads.
Now here we go. The Louisiana Attorney General, Liz Morrell, said her office will open investigation into what she called the racist display.
So, all sorts of craziness going on there at Mardi Gras. In New Orleans. Jeez, hello. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-2656.
two six zero five nine two six. I believe, yep, yep, Liz Morrell is a Republican, by the way, so this is bipartisan outrage here. By the way, it is President's Day, and I asked our team to put together some.
Some great questions. And for some trivia. And we have one that we're about to share.
So, get ready, is what I'm about to tell you here. And we're going to help you win a great prize. from the Todd Sterns radio show Prize Closet. Who said the following? This is a great one.
We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American, and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with every one else for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man. Because of creed or birthplace or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American but also something else is not an American at all.
We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, that is the English language. and we have room for but one sole loyalty, and that is a loyalty to the American people. Can you identify the president who once said those words? Was it Theodore Roosevelt.
Was it John F. Kennedy? Was it Barack Obama? If you know the answer, give us a call, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.
This is the Todd Stern Show. In his new movie, The Dragon's Prophecy, Dinesh D'Souza brings the new Middle East into focus with a message of perseverance, faith, and a shared global destiny. Could the fate of the world, of humanity itself, be somehow tied to this place? At long last, we have peace in the Middle East. Israel and Christians are coming together in a way they have never been before, since the book of Acts.
But is this the end of Amos and radical Islam? What does the Bible say? We have to become fighters in the spirit for God. We don't accept what the enemy wants to do with our culture. We don't accept what he wants to do with the nation.
If we keep fighting, we win. Powerful, prophetic, a must-see movie based on Jonathan Kahn's international bestseller, The Dragon's Prophecy combines history. And scripture with faith, justice, and renewal. The Dragon's Prophecy, a new film by Dinesh D'Souza.
Now available on Amazon, YouTube, and iTunes. All right. Welcome back, everybody. Coming up, Lee Greenwood is going to drop by. Also, our good buddy Steve Gill from TriStarDaily.com and Steve Hilton coming up in the last hour of the show.
Steve running for governor, leading in the polls.
So that's going to be a great conversation. Right now, though, I want to go to the phone lines and say hello to Keith. I'm sorry, Sharon, rather, in Indiana. Hi, Sharon. How are you today?
I'm doing well. Thank you. Sharon, all right, we're going to try to help you. I don't want to read through the entire quote, but who was it that delivered that powerful defense of America? Oh, I'm just taking a guess, but I think it might be John Kennedy.
Sharon, that was actually a great guess, but it was not JFK. Thank you for trying, though. And you'll have a chance to play again a little bit later. Let's go to Dan in Texas. Dan, all right.
Can you? We know it wasn't JFK. Can you tell us who? Who delivered that great quote? He said, We have room for but one flag, the American flag.
We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language. Dan, who said that? It was one of our greatest and most effective Presidents From really put America on the world stage. With his deployment of the Great White Fleet around the world. President Theodore Roosevelt.
Yes, Dan. Hail to the chief and hail to the winner. You are absolutely correct.
Well done, Dan.
Well Todd I was when you were reading the quote I was thinking about possibly calling in to name Theodore Roosevelt. Uh Because I already already knew that he was the one that did it. And that said those words. But I was a little bit surprised that you made it a multiple choice question and the options other than Teddy Roosevelt were clearly not the right answer.
Well, that is true.
However, JFK back in the delay day did deliver some great speeches. And that was I mean, but look, it's um yeah, I mean, it was pretty clear who it was. Right. JFK, you're right. JFK did good did doing good speeches.
but I doubt if he would have given the speech that Theodore Roosevelt gave.
Well, fair enough. But isn't it interesting, though, when everybody talks about America First and the idea, Dan, that this is a new thing, this is a new idea. No, this is something that was actually a campaign issue, by the way, back when Franklin Roosevelt was running for the White House, when the America First movement was first popping up, and this idea that we did not need to be the world's policeman. But going all the way back to Teddy Roosevelt, even back then, Roosevelt. Knew and understood how important it was that immigrants assimilate to the American way of life.
Yes. And one other rules around Franklin Roosevelt. Most famous speech, I'm sure, about the day that we'll live in infamy, as part of that speech. He talked about the need for America To Uh do everything that it eventually did in part uh to protect uh our Christian nation. Frequently used those words, our Christian nation, in that speech that day.
Yeah. You know, Dan, since we're swapping FDR stories and Teddy stories, to that point, when we started sending boys off to fight World War II, Franklin Roosevelt actually commissioned special pocket-sized New Testaments for those soldiers. Many of them had some sort of a casing built around them. They could fit into the pocket of their breast pocket of their uniforms. And there have been several stories that soldiers were actually saved by those Bibles by bullets that nearly penetrated the casings.
Yeah. That's it. interesting. I'm glad you said that because I have never heard that. Uh about uh Soldiers having pocket-sized Bibles.
And It's interesting because I'm sure as you know. Uh that is basically what saved Teddy Liswell's life. He was a he was a stem winder. Yeah. Yeah.
Uh he had a metal uh glasses case along with folded up pages of a speech.
So So having something like that in your pocket really can The other life saver. It certainly can. It certainly can. Dan, hang tight. We're going to send you a copy of Culture Jihad: How to Stop the Left from Killing a Nation.
And we appreciate you playing in our President's Day trivia. You know, it's interesting, those Bibles, FDR made sure that every soldier got a copy of the Bible, and it would also include the Psalms, the national anthem, various hymns. And many, many soldiers said they credited the president and thanked him for equipping them not only with weapons they needed, but also the sword of the Lord. And many of them are just treasured by the families of those who served. My dear friend Karen Kingsbury actually presented me one of those Bibles, and I have it in my office.
And it's really remarkable to see and to know that our fighting men during World War II were equipped with God's word as they went into battle.
So, wow, the Democrats have come a long way from those days, haven't they? All right, folks, we've got to take a quick break here. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number if you'd like to weigh in. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. We are broadcasting border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain, now on more than 130 radio stations around the nation. And we are so honored that you are hanging out with us noon to 3 Eastern.
Well, it's always a pleasure to talk to our good friend Lee Greenwood. He is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. And just missed, I was late getting to Nashville. I had to deliver a speech to the Young Americas Foundation, Lee, part of the big Freedom Fest celebration at the Country Music Hall of Fame. But Lee, I was thinking about you yesterday.
First, welcome back to the show. Always good to have you with us, my friend. Thanks, Todd. Happy President's Day. And I can't wait to hear what you're going to say.
So I'm heading to church. I was running late, and I was putting a few notes on my new book project, and I've been using the God Blessed USA Bible. And normally, I take a much smaller Bible to church on Sundays, and I couldn't find it.
So I grabbed the God Blessed USA Bible, and I'm in church yesterday, Lee, and we're looking at a passage, I think it was in Galatians. And I never actually heard the pastor preach because I was reading all the cool information in the Bible. And I thought, uh-oh, I'm going to blame Lee Greenwood on this if the preacher asked me a question. You know, I've taken two versions of that Bible to our church, Brentwood Baptist, in Brentwood, Tennessee. And I never walk out with it.
I have to give it to somebody. They're so interested to know that the founding father documents are inside the Bible. I mean, it's something you can probably find online. And you can find separate documents, but because you carry it in your Bible, it kind of reminds us in this 250-year anniversary of America. That we started with faith, and now we have faith, family, and freedom.
And those documents are a reminder of where we came from. And, you know, we were in the last hour, we were talking about Franklin Roosevelt, you know, a Democrat who made sure that every soldier had a little pocket Bible. And within that Bible, it included hymns and also, I believe, the national anthem, the lyrics to the national anthem. And it's just a reminder of what is important and the Christian foundations and underpinning of this great nation of ours. Yes, I love that.
And I love the fact that people refer to President's Day and I but I don't think Senate ever confirmed that. I believe it's still called George Washington's birthday, what, february twenty two, is that right? I think you're right, yeah.
So but we do honor our presidence today, and I'm going to just live on your show say happy President's Day, Mr. Trump. President Trump, we are proud of you and all that you're doing for us.
Well said. Lee, we've had a lot to talk about, and I want to tease this big event coming up in Washington, D.C., connected to the America 250 celebration. Of course, this is going to be at the Museum of the Bible. It's going to be a lot of fun. Yes, sir.
There are three different events I'm going to do between July 2 and 4. Naturally, I'll be with the President on July 4, wherever he chooses, whatever the venue that'll be. I believe it's on the mall. I kind of thought he was going to fly to South Dakota and put his image up on the mountain, but I don't I guess that's not going to happen yet. It might before he gets out of office.
I sure hope so. Wow. Do you have any inside intel on that? Is that being considered? You know, I'd heard rumors of it.
I didn't have any hard copy, but I heard rumors that he might do that. And God bless him. You know, I mean, I love him to death. And I've done so many events with him, and we have candid conversations about stuff like that. But he'll say stuff and just throw it out there and see what people think.
And it's that thing about Greenland. You know, it's like he was never intending on attacking Greenland. He was making sure that NATO understood that somebody had to put forces on there. And it didn't have to be us.
So he threatened to put our military on Greenland, and then NATO has to put their military on there to protect us against China and Russia. I just love the way he thinks.
So yes, the uh Museum of the Bible, uh that will be um With Home Depot and the Green family, and I just love them so very much. performed for them a couple of times before. And uh and that'll be on July 3rd. It's going to be a lot of fun. And, of course, the Green family, many of us have stood in line at Hobby Lobby.
I love going there, except when there's a holiday, and then it's a free-for-all in there. Holy Greenwood. I said Home Depot. Good grief. I meant Hobby Lobby.
Well, no, no.
Well, the Home Depot folks are patriots as well. But you're right. I said Home Depot. It's all good. It's all good.
It's Monday. It's Monday. Lee, one of the things we've been excited about is what's been happening at the Trump Kennedy Center. Of course, there's been so much. There's been so much controversy and I'm not quite sure I understand why these actors and performers, many of them are getting bent out of shape when the President is just simply trying to rebuild what was once a revered performing arts center.
Yeah, President Trump appointed me as a trustee to the Kennedy Center in his first term. And then through the Clinton administration, my term ran out, and he reappointed me again. For his second term, and proud to be there. And I was one of the people that had that meeting that elected to put Trump and his name on the Kennedy Center as well, which is deservingly because he went to Congress to get the money to refurbish the building. And you're right, it was in terrible shape.
And I walk the building. There's even some water leaks downstairs. A lot of the carpet is in terrible shape. And this is our premier performance venue. And when the people began to beg off and not want to play, I mean, that's terrible.
I mean, why wouldn't you want to play in this wonderful venue? And it just kind of crippled all of the entertainment that people are going to see.
So I'm really glad that the president decided to close it for two years and get the work done. And we'll start once again booking entertainment. Yeah, I remember the first time I went, and this was years ago, and it just you're hit with that, it smells like mothballs, and you're like, Wait, wait, this is supposed to be the Kennedy Center.
So I'm glad that the president is taking an interest in really restoring our nation's capital, you know, building the triumphant arch over by Arlington Cemetery, you know, building the statues and the monuments. We used to do that all the time in this country. Yeah, and I'm proud of him also for the addition to the White House. I I think he's the perfect president to do that. Everybody would be hesitant, of course, but he just takes charge of things.
And it needed to be done. I performed at the White House before. And this will be a great venue that we can meet dignitaries from other countries. I I was with the President in Qatar recently, who flew over there and performed for the EMIR. And their palace is stunning.
I mean, it's like. it'll knock you down how beautiful. We were the first entertainment in it and a candid conversation with the Emir and the President. It just I was like I was in high cotton.
So in order for us to have dignitaries come to the United States and see what we display as the house for the President, it needed to be done. No, you're right. It does. We have Lee Greenwood with us, ladies and gentlemen, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. And Lee, I want to go back to the Bible for just a moment, the God Bless the USA Bible.
You know, we are watching all these kids marching out of their schools. They're protesting ICE. And let's get real. No, they don't know what they're protesting. They're being told what to protest in those classrooms.
But we're raising a generation that really is illiterate when it comes to American history, civics. And I wonder if the God Bless the USA Bible can be a great resource for moms and dads to make sure their kids do know about America. Absolutely, Todd. As a matter of fact, I get so many videos of small children, anywhere from five to eight years old. And they sing my entire song.
Sometimes they're prompted by their parents because they can't remember all the lyrics.
Well, when they get to that part, I'd at least stand up in this cute little voice of an eight-year-old. And they run to the end of the song and sing it at the top of their lungs. That's where patriotism starts. It's not just about the music, it's about understanding what the lyrics mean. And I'm just so very proud that I've given that to America to be used as a tool to build patriotism among our young children.
You know, to your point, Helen, who answered the phone when you called into the show, she was telling us when she was, what, in fourth grade, Helen, that she actually sang that song in her local school. And there are schools that do that, and that makes me proud. I mean, there's some woke teachers or agenda in communities. They said we just can't do that. They don't play the national anthem either, though.
And it's like, Come on, you know, you must understand this country stands together. You can't divide it like that. And fate and the the recent uh uh uh uh at Olympian That had the colors of the United States, and then he trashed the country. Are you kidding me? Take off that jacket, go have a press conference and do it on your own in your own time.
But don't trash the country when you're wearing the colors. You know, Lee, when when you go back in the the early days when you you know you you hadn't had your first big break yet, but you knew this song was going to be be different. Does it still have an impact on you? You sing it so much. Does it still have an impact on you?
Absolutely. And it it's usually what gets me to tear up is when I see a soldier who's wounded and he's standing in front of me and he's singing. singing my song. I just I just, you know, it it wells up in me in my heart and emotions. I had three albums released on MCA before we wrote God Bless the USA.
And I was touring 300 days a year.
So sometimes when you're really busy, that's when the best ideas come to you. And you know, at at some point you have to you realize, you know what, this song is not just about me, it's this is, you know, it belongs to the public. I mean, people love this song. Yeah, it's no longer mine. I mean, I'm proud that I still can sing it too, by the way.
I was born in 1942. That makes me 83, going to be 84 this year. As long as I can keep singing it, I will. Wow, eighty four I had no idea. Wow.
Lee Greenwood joining us on our Patriot Mobile newsmaker line. You know, one of the other things we've seen, and of course, going back to the Super Bowl with Bad Bunny, there was a time when music was supposed to unite us. And I think that to me is what makes this song special: God Bless the USA unites the country, no matter if you're Republican or Democrat. Yeah, that's a tough one. Um, you know, the Hispanic population in the United States, I would say the majority of them speak English.
And I think for Bad Bunny to do his whole program in Spanish. It was a little bit insulting. I thought that You know, you you probably speak English. You're doing this us on purpose. just to shove it in the President's face.
And I'm like, you know, this is not cool. And of course when the Speaker Johnson Some media person had asked him about Bad Bunny performing at the halftime for the NFL. And I performed for the NFL my entire career since I came to Nashville in 1979. And he turned to the camera, he said, Well, I think that. We should have somebody more wholesome like Lee Greenwood.
And my phone blew up. Wow. That's what? That's insanity, right? Yeah, I know.
It's great. I love it. Lee, looking forward to looking ahead. Are you going to be one of these guys that just decides, you know what, I'm going to retire or are you just going to keep on working?
Well, I I like to work. I like what I do. I've been working since I was ten years old. I was raised on a farm. I have great work ethic, as did my parents.
My mother divorced my father when he joined the Navy and was gone for six years. And uh she had to play in bars when she was like in her twenties. And I played in boars when I was in my teens.
So, maybe my son Parker, who is now a music major and living in Nashville, he may play in bars and his teens.
Well, it's too late. He's 27. But it's kind of a worry that I work. I like to work, and I'll probably. I'd probably be staying until I can't, and that's an interesting point because I don't know when I will be unable to sing.
I sing all the time, but if there's a period where I take maybe six months off and I don't sing, my voice will go away and I'll be done. You know, Lee, when you you look at the President, he promised to usher in this golden age in America. Do do you think he's accomplished that? And what do you think he meant by that?
Well, we're at silver. I'm hoping we get to gold. There's a lot of pushback of people who. who uh don't believe what he does is good. And they're just going to have to watch history and let it play out.
We will have a golden age before the president is out of office. I guarantee it. Lee, we're going to leave it there, my friend. And folks, LeeGreenwood.com. You've got to go to Lee's website.
You're going to find links also to the God Blessed USA Bible and all sorts of things about Lee there at leegreenwood.com. Lee, always good having you on the show, my friend. Thank you, Todd. All right, there you go, ladies and gentlemen. Great American Patriot.
901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. A little music to take us out to break on this President's Day. I'd work for all my life. And I had to start again.
With just my children and my wife I thank my lucky stars to be living here today. Because the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away. Yeah. And I'm proud to be Be an American? Where at least I know.
I'm free and I won't Forget the man who died Who gave that right to me and I gladly stayed? And up next. And defend her still today. Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land. God bless the USA.
From the lakes of Minnesota. To the hills of Tennessee Across the plains of Texas. From sea to shining seas From Detroit down to Houston. And new york to Yeah.
Well, there's bright in every American heart and it's time we stand and say Yeah. That I'm proud to be an American. Where do you stand on? I'm free and I won't forget. The man who I who gave that right to Me and I plan.
It's bad. Stand up next to you and defend her still. Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land. God bless them. But you have saved.
And I'm proud to be an American where at least I'm low and free, and I won't. Don't forget the man Who died, who gave that right to me? And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her. Where still today? Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land.

Well, some sad news from Hollywood. The great actor Robert Duvall has died. Of course, he was the star of one of my favorite films of all time, The Godfather, One and Two. Of course, the sequel, better than the first, Robert Duvall passing away 95 years old. He was one of the few conservatives in Hollywood.
And uh his breakout starring role. Was Boo Radley in the adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird back in 1962? But Robert Duvall, dead at the age of 95, will be right back. All right, so the breaking news: Robert Tuval passing away in Virginia. He and his wife lived on a massive, massive farm there, 270-year-old Georgian farmhouse they had.
Brindley Farm is the name of it, 360 acres. And he did an interview with the Wall Street Journal many years ago, and he said that he loves Hollywood, loves, has a lot of friends out in Hollywood, but he prefers to live in Virginia, which is where he did for many, many years. Of course, Duval, best known, I think, for his role in To Kill a Mockingbird and The Godfather. But he actually said his favorite role of all time was in Lonesome Dove. Yeah.
And he was also one of the very few outspoken conservatives in Hollywood. And back in the day, he threw big fundraisers for people like John McCain when McCain was running, Mitt Romney. Not so much Trump. As a matter of fact, he was asked in the Wall Street Journal piece, he was asked about Donald Trump, and he said he wasn't talking about politics. And he also admonished all these Hollywood stars for talking about politics when they showed up at the awards.
Ceremonies. He says, What do they know? What do any of us know? Let's go to the Patriot mobile newsmaker line. Say hello to our good buddy Steve Gill, publisher of TriStarDaily.com.
Hi, Steve Gill. What's going on? Man, Robert Duvall, one of my absolute favorites. Again, Lonesome Dove, fantastic. You know, people forget that he was Boo Radley in the The killer mockingbird, and you don't even recognize him in that role versus his.
Later roles. Second Hand and again, one of my favorite Duval films Uh but man, there are just so many that uh That flash through your mind when you think of him. And 95 years of age, had a long. an amazing life and was was active till the till the final days. There was a great movie and it didn't get a lot of attention, but it but it was called The Apostle.
And he played this foot-stomping, like, Pentecostal preacher. It was a fascinating. I mean, from a theatrical standpoint, I mean, the guy was just, he was kind of like Lawrence. They keep comparing him to Lawrence Olivier. He's a real actor.
He had range. He didn't just play one role over and over again. Although, I mean, I cannot. Overlook any Western. He'd been open range with Kevin Costner, again, another one of my favorites.
But Lonesome Dove, just, I mean, you talked about owning a role. that you can't picture anybody else. Playing that role other than him. But yeah, I mean, again, he could play a Boo Radley in to kill a Mockingbird. He could play a Pentecostal preacher.
I mean, he could play different roles. And that's the the kind of uh accolades that a true actor uh can generate. Steve, uh a lot of news over the weekend, of course. Marco Rubio. What I'm curious your thoughts on Rubio's speech and not only his speech, but I mean, where does this put him when we're starting to look at 2028?
Well, first of all, I put him in the rankings of people like Thomas Jefferson and John Adams in terms of Secretary of State. That should be held up in the pantheon of the greatest of all time. I mean, he is a goat. And I'll have to admit, Todd, that he has exceeded my expectations. He was a good dick, I thought, when President Trump tapped him to be Secretary of State.
But he is. exceeded all of my expectations and I think literally placed himself at the top of the rank, not only in terms of looking ahead towards presidential politics, but also ranking in history as as one of the best. I I've done a lot of international T V over the last three or four days. uh in everywhere from Moscow to London to Azerbaijan and Doha in Dubai, and they've all asked about his speech in Munich. And I've used the example that It was really as he spoke to the Western European leaders in very stark, direct, clear, and honest terms.
It was like an interdiction. Like you've got an alcoholic uncle or a nephew who's addicted to drugs, and you have an interdiction to deal with harsh truth and reality. And then the question is whether or not Western Europe responds by listening, by hearing, and by taking action to divert themselves from the disastrous path that they are on. And I think that's Like an interdiction, will they respond? Will they continue to the path of self-destruction?
That Marco Rubio pointed out. Steve, I thought it was really fascinating to see the response from the crowd there at the security conference. I mean, they gave him a massive standing ovation.
Well, I think that most of them are recognizing the truth that they have literally been on this self destructive Path. And the political leaders are seeing the response from their voters.
Now, again, you've got Keir Starmer in England who's avoiding elections, much like Zelensky in Ukraine because he knows what the results will be. But Skarmer is delaying council elections across Europe and across England because he knows the results. The full numbers of Starmer, of merch. uh of of Macron and and others Their voters are speaking in full, waiting for the time they can add to the actual voting booth. And I think you're seeing likelihoods of political change in most, if not all, of those countries.
You're seeing people like Maloney in Italy, like Orban in Hungary. They're the new voices. of the right direction of protecting your civilization in Europe, and the voters are flocking in their direction, much as we're seeing in South and Central America, where you're seeing the voters embrace The Trumpism, the make my own country great again, pursue economic freedom and capitalism. That's the path that we're seeing break out all over the world. And the question is whether England, France, Germany will join that path.
Spain has just headed the far different direction of embracing 500,000 immigrants from Africa pouring in that will destroy what's left of their country and then flood throughout the European Union. The question is whether Europe will wake up or continue the more increasingly rapid flog to self-destruction. Of course, the big question, Steve, is. How do you fix it, right? Because, I mean, when you look at what's happening in the UK, are we talking about mass deportations?
Are they, you know, will they get to a point where they have to. Outlaw Islam, and if so, do they deport everybody? Because I don't think that's ever going to happen here. I think this country. Will go down the path of embracing Islam, and we're going to end up looking like the UK.
I'm not sure they've got the courage to do what needs to be done.
Well, I think you're seeing some courage around the United States, but those pockets of blue insanity, whether it's Mamandani in New York, whether it's Minneapolis in Minnesota, whether it's Virginia that is now proceeding down that path with a Muslim lieutenant governor that is intending to proselytize the self-destruction that it brings.
So there are some pockets of sanity in the US that remain. But I I think the the the lesson I would Put out there, Todd, is you know, we just had an ice storm in Nashville. I had burst pipes and lots of power. And the less that I would Or into no pun intended, what you deal with with illegal immigration is. First, you have to turn off the water.
You have to stop the continued flood in before you start figuring you're going to fix pipes or repair the damage. You turn off the water first.
So for England, you have to stop the continued inflow of illegals coming across the channel. Then you can deal with those who have already arrived illegally, who have instituted themselves in your country and culture. But you've got to turn the water off first. And stopping the flood in has to happen before you start the repair and dealing with what has already occurred. Steve Gill joining us on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line today, the publisher of TriStarDaily.com.
Steve, I want to play some audio here. This is coming from Florida, the largest teachers' union on video. Broadcasting what their intentions are for the children of the Sunshine State, cut number six.
So when? Florida's students are confronted with videos of ICE raids, of families being torn apart, and of Americans being murdered for using their constitutional rights. They respond. They organize. They speak out.
and they do what American students have always done in moments of injustice. They stand together and demand safety for their peers, their families, and themselves, and that response. While framed by some politicians as radical, Is brother. reasonable. It's rational.
And in a moment like this, it is required. To any students being told that they do not have the right to speak out or walk out on their campus. I want to be clear. This is the United States of America. You do not shed your First Amendment rights when you step foot through the schoolhouse gates.
So there you have it, Steve. Students are required to protest ICE, according to the teachers' union there. What say you?
Well, first of all, I think the teachers' union is failing miserably. I would even if they're a lower grade than F, I would give them a lower grade than F. First of all, the historical context of the First Amendment does not mean you're immune from consequences for exercising your First Amendment rights. And if students want to walk out of class and be suspended, suffer the pangs of bad grades because they choose not to show up for class as required, fine, go exercise your First Amendment rights out on the street. But if you're doing it in the classrooms in a public school, if you're doing it at the behest of public school teachers who are promoting radicalism rather than promoting the ability to read, write and do arithmetic, and we're seeing many of these schools where students are leaving who have 17% proficiency in reading, 12% proficiency in math, virtually zero graduation rate.
The teachers aren't doing the job of teaching because they're too busy being propagandist to the left. And the other thing I would tell the teachers' unions. Americans are not being murdered in the United States by ICE or DHS. Stop the lies. First, it's kind of like we were talking about the flood of illegals.
Stop. lying and putting these propagandist ideas into these Students who march out on the streets believing that they and their friends and their neighbors are at risk of being murdered in their bed with the stormtroopers bursting through the doors to kill them for no reason. illegal aliens who are rapists and murderers and killers. And sex traffickers are being rounded up and deported, and millions are self-deporting, knowing that consequences are coming to them. And yet, you've got Democrat governors, Democrat mayors who are releasing these vile criminals back onto the streets to kill, murder and rape again.
And my idea, Todd, is we really want to deal with this. Let's start having legislatures and maybe even the U.S. Congress start passing legislation to hold those who release these criminals, judges, mayors, governors, back onto the streets to kill again to be held responsible for the deaths of those. We have seen cases recently of if a parent provides a gun to a child who goes and kills someone, that that parent is held financially liable. Let's start holding those who release these violent criminals to kill again for their role in the murder of innocent Americans.
Let's put the pocketbooks of their largettes at risk, and maybe that will stop their insanity because nothing else. All right. Yeah, got to leave it there, Steve. We're super late for a break. But again, folks, go to TriStarDaily.com and you'll be able to get all of Steve's intel.
And sorry about that phone connection there, Steve, but TriStarDaily.com, the great Steve Gill. All right, 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-226. 260-5926. Let's go to the phones.
Say hello to. Zeke in Nashville. Hi, Zeke. What's on your mind? Hi, Todd.
Yeah, hey, great show as always. My friends and I are here in the office and we watch you every day. Hey, just want to let you know that even though you support a protector of pedophiles, Now, hold on, Zeke. What are you talking about there? Who are you talking about?
Trump, the great protector of pedophiles.
Well, that's simply not true, Zeke. As a matter of fact, if you'd bothered to actually read the information that was released, you would have realized that it was Donald Trump who alerted police to the allegations surrounding not only Jeffrey Epstein, but also Ghulane Maxwell. Here's the thing, Zeke. We appreciate you guys calling in, and you're one of the seminar callers. But, Zeke, when you come in, when you call in, you should at least, at least, come armed with the facts.
Otherwise, Zeke, I'm kind of disappointed in you. Really am. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, let's go right to our phones, 901-260-5926.
David in San Francisco. Hi, David. What's on your mind? Yeah, how are you um Uh Trud? Yeah, I heard uh you and Lee talking about the Bible and it reminded me of of the uh mark of the beast issue.
You're based in Memphis. And south of town, Elon Musk is building some massive data centers. And when you think about the mark of the beast, It's going to require a whole lot of a data center to be able to manage every transaction that's ever been done. I think that's in the Revelations thirteen. It kind of describes it.
And when you start thinking about the data centers that is capturing everything forever. That's pretty creepy. But what's worse for Memphis is this guy, Elon, is Using some he's basically taking jet engines. To just run night and day to power this data center, and he's polluting the whole area.
Well, that's simply not true, David. I live here, and I can tell you that is just not happening. And the water that they're using for this facility is coming straight out of the Mississippi River water. That's Mississippi River water. It's not coming from the aquifers that supply the delicious drinking water that Memphians use to quench their thirst.
I do want to get back, though, to the Mark of the Beast issue.
So you're telling me that you believe that Elon Musk is going to be using these data centers to implement the Mark of the Beast?
Well, doesn't that make sense? No, how does it make sense? No, I was look, I went over to myfaithassistant.com just a few minutes ago, and I typed in: you know, what does the Bible say about the mark of the beast? There's nothing about Elon Musk in the New Testament, in the book of Revelation. There's nothing about Memphis, Tennessee, in Revelation chapter 13.
And by the way, myfaithassistant.com even pulled up the Bible verse as a reference. But they're saying that, you know, the mark of the beast, again, going back to the scripture, is some sort of a forced, visible sign of allegiance to the Antichrist. Are you suggesting that Elon Musk is the Antichrist?
Well, he's certainly serving the problem. Whether or not he he is personally, I don't care. I you know, the the issue is an infrastructure that is serving the same end. And what's even worse, you sidetrack the issue of the water. No, I'm not sidetracking.
There is no pollution here. They are not causing pollution.
So, David, you're in San Francisco. You have no idea what's going on. If you want to talk about pollution, at least we don't have poop patrols. At least we know here in Memphis how to use a bathroom toilet to go number two. Unlike San Francisco, you guys are having to spend tens of millions of dollars to scoop human poop from the sidewalk, sir.
That seems to me to be a bigger issue. I find that Zeke, the earlier caller, he's going to have a place in the book of life. But you're sidetracking the issue that the infrastructure that's being set up right now so that everything is captured. You know that the look, they've had the EPA here. Look, they've had the EPA here.
There's no pollution. That is a talking point from the left, David. But they're taking all the precautions necessary. And I can tell you that because I live here and I breathe the air, and it is fresh, delicious, beautiful southern air, David. With a little hint of magnolia in it.
All right, got a run. Good call, though. Thanks for calling in, David. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. I love. Love is American. Time.

Now an old family favorite, rejuvenated by the artificial intelligence of Minnesota Public Broadcasting. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, a beautiful day for my neighbors who just got here. They just got here. It's not the neighborly way to send them back Rounding them up in ICE attacks Would you be kind? Won't you be kind?
I've always wanted to have a neighbor like Rajiv or Rao Who put 24,000 new kids in our low girl school So let's make the most of this beautiful day Before Somali daycares all go away Would you be kind, pretend that you're blind? Everyone's your neighbor. Won't you please, won't you please? Please won't you hide? You're a neighbor.
Hello, neighbor. I've been thinking about wintertime. in Minneapolis. A time of snow. and sweaters.
and frozen water bottles, Have you ever been cold?
So cold that you thought you could turn someone else into ice? That wouldn't be neighborly of a fellow Minnesotan, and Governor Waltz and our mayor won't be able to protect you from the consequences. What are consequences? Consequences are what happens. What happens to people who snitch on those who are different?
Yeah. Who are different? Like Somalis who make their living off the government, For enrichment For enrichment So, don't mention the criminality of those who are here illegally, and you won't have to face. The consequences Nobody likes bad things to happen to mommy and daddy or Little sister? Because nobody Likes a snitch.
Next time we'll go to the land of make-believe. To see how Mr. McFeely is transitioning into Mrs. McFeely. Bye-bye.
Jeez. All right. Welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Thank you, Mr.
Paul Shanklin Rogers, there with another original piece for the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Won't you be my neighbor? Welcome on this President's Day edition of the show. What an honor to have you with us today. I want to go right away to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say hello to our good friend Steve Hilton, who is now the leading contender to be the next governor of California.
Steve, hope you're doing well today. Very well. It's wonderful. It'll honor to be with you on this special day, Todd. How about that?
You're right, leading in the polls, leading on fundraising. Can you believe it? Still a long way to go. We're the opposite of complacent. There is we got this huge and corrupt Democrat machine we're up against, but we're sick of the nonsense in California.
I think this could be the year when we kick them out.
Well, it's really fascinating because when you look at the polling data, there are two Republicans that are leading the entire pack. And of course, the top two, the way it works in California, Steve, and you can educate our national audience on this, but the way it works, the top two contenders go toe to toe in the general election, regardless of party. That's exactly right. It's this ridiculous top two system that means that you're very susceptible to dirty tricks and game playing, and you've seen that from the Democrat machine. And I just want to be very clear about something for anyone who's following this and hasn't been following it as closely as obviously I am because I'm in it, which is that a lot of Republicans, as you say, looking at the polls, they've been pretty consistent the last couple of months, showing that there are two Republicans, myself And my main Republican opponent, Chad Bianco, he's a sheriff in Riverside County, leading in the polls.
Uh one and two. And then you've got a whole bunch of Democrats who are splitting the vote, and therefore, they're coming in behind. And people say this is fantastic. We're going to have two Republicans in the top two, guaranteed a change of direction for California. That is a fantasy.
I just have to be very clear with everyone about that. It is not going to happen. The Democrat machine is not just going to surrender California. And in fact, a much more serious risk is in front of us because you've seen just recently the entry into the race Of a new candidate. called Matt Mahan, no need to remember his name, he's a bit of a nonentity, he's the mayor of San Jose, but he's got a huge amount of backing from big tech.
So he's got a ton of money behind him. And then on the other side, you've of the fence in terms of the Democrats. You've got the big unions, the teacher unions, SCIU, they call the shots in California. They're about to pick their puppet. And it's going to be either Eric Swalwell, if you can believe that, or Katie Porter.
That's who it's come down to. And that'll become apparent in the next month or so.
So, what I'm saying is, you're going to have two very well-funded Democrats.
So, the real risk is actually you have two Democrats in the top two, not two Republicans. And that's why I've been very clear that it's time to get behind one Republican so we don't split the vote. And I've got the business experience, the government reform experience, the policy expertise. And the other guy, I'm afraid, has just got too much baggage. And this is the point everyone needs to understand.
Okay, well, let me jump in here. Yeah, let me jump in here, Steve, because to that point, all you need to know about Bianco is that during the George Floyd riots, this guy literally took a knee. And for me, that symbolizes everything Chad Bianco is. It's shocking. It's really shocking.
I remember when I was watching. the news around that time, those awful BLM riots in that awful summer. I never heard of Chad Bianco at that time, but I do remember the mayor of LA at that time, Eric Garcetti. And same thing there. The BLM mob got him out into the street.
And they made him cake and eat. I remember watching that on the news thinking this is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. a leader bending the knee to the mob. And I'm afraid there's a you can see Chad Bianco doing that. People don't believe me or you when we just discussed it.
There's a video. You can watch it at blmbianco.org. BLMbianco.org. Watch the video. He now denies it.
He said he was he says he's praying. I mean, you just got to watch the video and make your own mind up. It's not okay. And even if you know, regardless of who you believe or whatever, there's just a simple practical point, which is Republican voters absolutely hate this. A poll was done showing that once they see the video, the support for this guy goes down twenty-one points.
If he's a candidate in the general election against the Democrat, the Democrat machine will ruthlessly use this video to get it in front of Republican voters to depress Republican turnout. And the midterm election is all about turnout. This guy's got way too much baggage. As I said, he's got more baggage than LAX. You can't have him.
It's time to get behind one candidate. As I say, Todd, I'm in the lead already, but we need to really make sure we don't split the vote. And that's why I'm asking for everybody's support right now. There is a fascinating story over at CBS News, and I sort of laugh it off here. But the headline is, and the thrust of this story is: what if The top two vote-getters are, in fact, Republican.
They've run this through some AI machine, and they say there's a 12% chance of that likelihood, Republican versus Republican, in the runoff.
However, they interviewed a guy named Rob Stutzman, who's a Republican strategist, and said that this would not end well for the party. He says that if, in fact, a Republican is elected governor, the Democrats would immediately seek to recall the governor. And he's likening it to what happened with Prop 50. I mean, that's completely overturning the will of the people if that were to happen. That's just how far gone I think California politics is right now.
You're right. And that shows you the arrogance of this corrupt Democrat regime. We've had one party rule in California for 16 years. They've controlled everything, every statewide office, a supermajority, a two-thirds majority in the legislature. By the way, not a legitimate supermajority.
It's achieved through gerrymandering. Even before Gavin Newsom's gerrymander last year, Prop fifty, they've gerrymandered all the districts in California. They've never had two-thirds of the vote in California, but they've got more than two-thirds of the seats in the legislature.
So that sixteen years now, without any Republican control, either anywhere in Sacramento, in the state capital, or any of the big counties and the major cities, one party rule. And it's a total disaster. And of course, they can't justify the the record is the literally it's the worst run state in America. On every significant issue or aspect of daily life, we are the worst in the country. The highest gas prices, electric bills, water, insurance, housing costs, rent, everything.
The worst business climate ten years in a row, according to Cheap Executive magazine. Highest poverty rate. Highest unemployment rate. Highest Uh The worst school results for the highest spending. I mean, on and on.
It's just a total. I mean, you mentioned homelessness. or the crime explosion and smash and grabs and all of that. It's just extraordinary how badly they've managed to mess everything up all at the same time.
So they can't run on that. And these candidates they're running, the Katie Porter, Eric Swarwell, these people, the billionaire climate fanatic Tom Steyer, none of them have got anything new to say. I was on a debate, we had the first T V D debate a couple of weeks ago that not a s they were all the same as each other, all the same as what we've got now. It's a disaster.
So all they've got Is cheating and corruption. That's literally the only thing that they've got to cling on to power. Steve Hilton joining us on the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line today. Steve Hiltonforgovernor.com is the website, folks. That's Steve Hiltonforgovernor.com.
So Steve, in all likelihood, who do you anticipate running against in that primary in the general election?
Well, it's extraordinary, but right now I think that I would put my money on Eric Swalwell. Really? If you can believe that. Really? Really?
I mean, I know it's hard to believe that this is what we're talking about, but I think he's got the edge. I mean, it could be Katie Porter. I think it'll be one of those two. I don't think this mayor of San Jose, Matt Mahan, By the way, Matt Mahan, he's been just in case people I mean, I'm sure most people across the country never heard of this guy, but if he does start getting better known because he's got a lot of money behind him, that he's being positioned as a inverted like in the quote marks, moderate Democrat. He's not moderate.
He just was was for a big sales tax increase They want to put taxes up on everything, as all these Democrats do. He was described as being squarely in line with Democrat orthodoxy on climate change. Climate change, of course, their insane extremism there is the main reason we have the highest cost for everything in the country.
So, this guy, in fact, my favorite thing about this guy, Matt Mahan, the mayor of San Jose, is that even his own backers, I was. Shown some excerpts from a signal chat where the big tech Bros were sort of getting together to back him. And this is the selling point. They described him as. The least insane Democrat would get filed.
Can't we do better than that, the least insane? I mean, how that's the people who are supporting him. Steve Hilton for Governor.com. Ladies and gentlemen, go check out Steve's campaign. He very well could be on his way to being the next governor of California.
What wouldn't that be a wonderful thing? Steve, good luck to you out there, my friend. Thank you so much, Todd. Great to be with you. See you soon.
All right. Good man, right there. And he is leading the polls. It's a brilliant thing. But he's got a great message and it's resonating with people.
And I love that. But yeah, the other guy, Championko, good guy, but he took a knee. He took a knee during the BLM protest. And I'm sorry, that disqualifies you in my estimation. All right, 901-260-5926, going to the phones.
I need to play this little clip.
So now President Trump is being accused of making black women Obese. Take a listen. I hate when people talk about black women being obese. I hate it because it becomes a way to blame us for a set of conditions that we didn't create. We are living in the Trump era.
And look, those policies kill our people. And what public health practitioners think is that our stress responses in the body change our metabolism. It's literally that the racism that you're experiencing and the struggle to make ends meet actually means the diet don't work for you the same. Really? Is it really Donald Trump, though, that's making those women fat?
Or is it the box of ho hos and the bucket of KFC? Just one piece of chicken, one hoho, one hoe. Oh. Will do will suffice. Is that it?
I'm just asking questions here. I I don't know, but they're saying that Trump is causing people to. To overeat. nine oh one two six zero five nine two six. This is the Todd Stern Show.

Well, let's go to the phones, Foy in Gainesville, Georgia. And Foy, I understand you've got a Robert Duvall story. I do have a Robert Duval story. My sister who lived in uh not very far from Hollywood. in Monrovia, California.
uh was a singer. But she was also She was a voice teacher at Cal State University. And on the s sort of the latter part of her lifetime, she just died about five years ago, she got into making small parts in movies. And she was in a movie with Robert DuBall. The movie was called Kicking and Screaming.
it was about a bunch of kids playing soccer and competition soccer. And Will Farrell was the main coach. And I'm pretty sure that the father was Will was Robert Duvall. Uh I think that was the part he played. I know he was in the movie.
But um, anyway, I've about forgotten uh all of it uh as far as the story, but it was a cute movie and um She, as I said, she did sing, and we were so in hopes that she would get her. Star Spangled Banner as part of the um movie, but it got on the cutting floor. She had a fantastic voice, and we just hoped it would get in the movie, but it didn't make it. Um Anyway. I just thought uh that personal little story, you've had so many things interesting on there today that I cannot uh I cannot just uh uh focus on one.
I tell you the truth, if I lived in California, I think I'd vote for Steve Hilton. And another thing that came to mind that I enjoyed was hearing Paul Shanklin sing the Will you be my neighbor? That's so good. A lovely singing voice, Paul Shanklin does, doesn't he, boy? I used to love to hear him when he was on Rush, you know.
Well, we're sure honored that he's with us now, Foy, and he is such a blessing. And you're right, Robert Duvall, he played the dad to Will Farrell in kicking and screaming. And Foy, thank you for that great story. Folks, got to take a quick break here. Um Dylan, it's hard to believe March Madness is what just literally is right around the corner.
It's true, yeah. February has just flown by. I'm so excited. It's my favorite time of the year, other than Christmas. We've got to do brackets on the show this year.
Of course. We've gotten to obviously having our University of Memphis going on the way because we're in Memphis. Maybe you'll have.
Some other team in Tennessee, but it's fine. I'd be careful about putting them high in the brackets. Yeah, you're probably right. The Tigers, man, they got whooped. They did.
And so now Penny Hardaway is making national news because what Utah State beat him by, what, 25? A lot. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
And so Penny Hardaway, who's the coach, is really upset. And he says that he accused him of being unsportsmanlike. That they ran up the score. And the coach was trying to explain: look, we had to do that because we're looking for a berth. In March Madness, and we got to make sure we got to run up the score.
It's not our fault, it's the system. Yeah, it is kinda sad when you're the coach saying, Hey, stop scoring so much on us. You're just big meanies. You're so shit. Stop.
Can we have a mercy roll, please? I just. Wow. That's and you know, here in Memphis, people like worship Penny Hart. I mean, Lord and Savior worship the man.
He was a legendary basketball player. He can't coach. And he loves his city. He's doing a lot for his city. But I'm just not sure coaching is kind of like the thing.
Yeah. And how many times have we had this conversation about Penny Hardaway? It's bad. So, my recommendation did not go over well with the devotees. A penny hardaway.
Yeah. And I said, if he's all that upset about them running up the score, maybe he ought to work on his defense. Great, great analysis. Just again, it's just, you know, and I get it, NILs, but everybody's dealing with NIL. And we're not blowing people up by 25 points.
And they're like, oh, well, the problem is we're in a crappy, we're in a crappy conference.
Well, yeah, but we're not even winning in the crappy conference. Excellent point. Yeah. You're so right. We gotta win out if we want to even be like our name even in any uh conversation.
Just want to point out, so that brings us to Kansas State. And have you been following the story over there? Talk a little bit about it. Jerome Tang. And K-State's been dealing with it.
They're going through. They're having a tough go of it. I think they've only won one game in their conference in the Big Twelve. And so the coach Has we he was heralded. He's like a Trinidadian American.
You can look that up.
So, anyway, the guy's out there, and he actually told his players at one point: you're not. You're You're not going to have your name on the back of your jersey because you're playing so horribly. You know, this is not about you anymore. This is about your team.
So we had him take the names off the backs of the jerseys.
So, this guy kind of told it like it is at a presser, and this is what got him fired.
So, he's been fired. And now they owe him, what, $18 million, but they're firing him with cause, which means the university says, we don't have to pay you a penny, pal. Interesting. And this is why, this is what he said: cut 10. I'm going to honor Christ like I always do.
Praise the Lord. Blessed. Um To do this But uh This this was embarrassing. These dudes do not deserve to wear this uniform. Um There will be very few of them in it next year.
Um Uh like I'm embarrassed for the university. I'm embarrassed for our fans, our student section. You know, it is just ridiculous. We got practice at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning and Uh And we will get this thing.
Uh right eye. I I I have no answer and no words.
So, y'all got two questions.
So, whoever wants to ask two questions, I'll answer them to the best of my ability right now. But, right now, I'm like pissed. And and did this uh This Yeah, this this is All right, questions?
So I guess so. Just kind of cousin plugging if you like. Mm-hmm. Rhoda home splits, classroom road games. kind of wire.
Yeah, I don't know. I asked the staff. this week that same question and um You know, they said that, you know, more the opponents, you know, you play I don't know. Like, uh, you know, cause, I mean, I I followed uh Minnesota last year closely and uh they played great on the road and struggled at home, so then they started staying in hotels at home, like treating it like a road game. And so I even talked about, hey, do we need to change that?
Would that change? But like, no, there's that none of that crap, Matt, man. There's these dudes gotta have some. They got some pride, man. They got some pride.
It it means something to wear a K-State uniform. It means something to put on this purple, man. Our our like, everything this university's about and all that it's been about, why I love this place, man. Like, they they they don't they don't love this place, so they don't deserve to be here. Just a one more per coach why.
Makeup, the students section with paper bags on their heads. Yeah, I'd wear a paper bag too if I was them. Oh, thanks a lot, fellas. God bless. God bless.
Thank you, coach. Wow. So that's so that's what got him fired. What he just said there in that press conference. And Dylan, I'm having a hard time understanding why this guy got fired.
Yeah, I can see both sides. As a coach, you're frustrated, your players aren't in it anymore. They don't really care. But on the other side of that, you are the coach. You are the reason why they should be hyped up, why they should care.
So if you're not doing your job as a coach to Basically, enlighten and to encourage these guys to do the best that they can, be the best versions of themselves. And they're not doing that. Then, okay, I'm a frustrated coach. But You know, he's saying he's making a lot of sense. It just seems to me, overall, we have a problem with this generation of college athletes who they don't want to work hard.
They don't want to go the extra mile. It's all about you and not the team. It's all about the NIL money and heck with everybody else. Yeah, then NIL is making it a more self-centered game. If you're not getting the paycheck, you're just going to go somewhere else.
It's not about your teammates, it's not about your coach. Not about the fans. It du all that goes out the window if you're not getting the paycheck. Yeah, it's that that's it. And so this guy is actually trying to hold his players up to a higher standard.
And that's the whole point of those press conferences. You're there to push people's buttons. You want the players to hear what you have to say, so they will get out there and they'll bust their butts. Yeah. There was this great video.
We can't even play it. It's so profane. I think it was back in the 80s or 90s, maybe, where there was a great baseball coach, college-level baseball coach. And he just reamed the team a new one in the locker room. And they went on and from that point and they won every single game they played and they they won their division championship.
So sometimes it's just a little motivation here.
Sometimes that works, but I feel like this generation and yes, I'm a part of it. We do not respond well to like aggression and like Yelling. But when I was growing up playing sports, I loved that. When my coach got mad, I'm like, okay, someone cares about me enough to get mad that I'm not doing a good job. Coach Coach Tang hurt my feelings.
Mommy. Exactly. I mean, really? I mean, are you serious? He should not have been fired.
That's. That's ridiculous.
Well, with cause.
So they owe the guy nearly $19 million. Yeah. They're going to have to pay that. They should. There will be yeah, absolutely.
But they're trying to say that whatever this guy said at the and we all heard it, that was the extent of the press conference, that that somehow brought shame to Kansas State. I would say what's bringing shame are bringing these kids in. And this is the problem here. You're bringing kids in not because they love Kansas State, not because they love the University of Memphis or wherever. They want that money.
They want that NIL money. And that's the only thing that matters to them.
So every single year, and this is where I do feel bad for the coaches, they're pretty much having to rebuild a team every single year, as opposed to having four or five guys that are going to be your star players for the next however many years, four years of their college career. I mean, that's and Dylan, that's where the fan base gets involved because you're growing up with these guys. You're watching them grow up in front of your eyes. You're invested. There's a story there.
All of that is gone now. Yeah, especially now that they're bringing in like pro players from like across the seas. Like people that have played in European teams that were pro and are coming back to college, they're like. 27, 28 years old. A high a 18 year old high schooler, are you kidding me?
Never has a chance. No or even see the court. Absolutely. And that's not what college sports. This is semi-pro ball.
And you can see how that worked. Look at how that's working out for the minor leagues and baseball. Mm-hmm. Nobody wants to go. I'm sorry.
I mean, it's a fun thing, and you can have the theme nights down at your AAA ballpark, but nobody's going. I mean, Look at the empty seats. By the way, you want to know how you want to see how all of this is playing out? Look at the NBA All-Star weekend. Dylan, there were thousands of empty what, five only five thousand people there.
thousands of empty seats.
So sad. Yeah. People have lost interest. They have, and they don't want to play. They don't appreciate how woke the NBA's gotten.
That's it. You know, and people are when you've got coaches, when you've got players, and they're just intentionally shoving their politics in your face instead of talking about basketball, and by the way, the product on the court sucks. I mean, it's not even pro wrestling, it is more believable than what we're seeing happen out there on the court. Just telling you.
So, anyway, I hate it for Coach Tang. He's going to, look, he's going to get his money. There's. And that seems to be the big argument. I know you've got like Tony Kornheiser out there, and he's like, oh, that's just so inappropriate, so inappropriate.
Really? What's inappropriate is not winning your games? And by the way, this, and it is malarkey, ladies and gentlemen, to say, well, these are just college kids, and we got to, no, no, no. These are adults, and these are professional adults. They're being paid to get out there and play a sport.
So, yes, there is an obligation they deliver so they get their paychecks. That's not how it used to be. It used to be all about getting an education. But now, well, we live in a new day, and you can think all the lawyers and the moms and the dads, all of that it's all on them. All right, we got to take a break.
901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. But again, what kind of young men are we raising in this country where you've got a basketball team and the coach can't have very frank and direct conversations with them about their performance because you don't want to hurt their feelings? This is the Todd Stern Show. Okay.
Do we do that? All right, let's get to the phones. 901-260-5926. Keith in North Carolina. Hi, Keith.
What's going on? Well, I apologize that I'm on the speaker phone, but my phone doesn't work. I got a new phone, but I hadn't got it set up yet.
Well, you're coming in loud and clear, Keith. What's going on? Well, I get a kick out of these ball players.
Now I play baseball. When I was in high school, But then I joined the Marine Corps when I was seventeen. And and they don't like it when somebody yells at 'em? They ought to join the Corps. Look, a lot of those coaches were preparing young men for going into the military to deal with those drill instructors.
Well, I tell you what, those genitructures sometimes can be pretty rough. They would take you into the head. That's the bathroom. And they would poke you around a little bit to get your t get your attention. And these young ball players.
They don't seem to understand the real world. It's not. It is not a painted picture. The world is difficult. And they need to understand that the world will be difficult when they get out of college.
Well, no doubt about that, Keith. And I'm curious, you know, when you look at what's happening, and especially to college sports, I mean, I will say this. I remember. Not too long ago, when I first started my journalism career, I was a sports reporter.
So I'd have to go cover high school football games. And Keith, I'm telling you, you couldn't find a seat in the stands. But even nowadays, even in the southern states, Not a lot of people are going to these games anymore.
Well, my dad played professional football one year and I understand exactly what you're talking about. It's almost as if people are, I don't know, losing interest or I just don't get it. But Friday nights in the South, especially, and you folks in Texas know this. I mean, that used to be Friday night lights. You were at the football game, even if you didn't have a kid playing.
I remember that movie, that show. Yeah, it's true. All right. Well, Keith, who did your dad play for? The Arkansas Diamonds I don't think it lasted very long, but.
He's listed in the uh If you look him up on the on the internet, you'll find him. Harry Carley, NFL.
Well, I'll be all right.
Well, very cool, Keith. All right. Well, appreciate you calling in and sharing that little bit of. History and trivia. Oh, how about that?
901-260-5926 is our telephone number. One of my favorite moments, there was the Czech foreign minister. Inadvertently triggered Hillary Clinton. All of this happening at the Munich Security Conference. This is pretty darn funny.
Cut number five.
Well, uh first I think you really don't like him. You know, that is absolutely true. But I really, not only do I not like him, I don't like him because of what he's doing to the United States and the world. And I think you should take a hard look at it if you think that there is something good that will come out of it. What I think, what I think Trump is doing in America, I think it is reaction.
reaction, reaction for something that some for some policies that really went too far. Too far from the regular people, too far from reality.
So, you know, we saw the cancel culture. We saw the Vogue revolution. I don't agree with the gender revolution, the climate alarmism. No, let Peter go on. I think there are two genders, but some of us think that there is more than one, or more than two, sorry, more than two gender.
I think there is male and female, and the rest probably is a social construct.
So this is something that went too far. But does that justify selling out the people of Ukraine who are on the front lines dying to save their freedom and their two genders, if that's what you're worried about? Can I please finish my points? I'm sorry that It makes you nervous. I'm really sorry for that.
It makes me nervous. It makes me feel like it's not. Anybody check on the Czech foreign minister? Might want to see how he's doing. Make sure he hasn't been suicided.
Jeez Luke.
Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Help. You know. Trump really got into her skin, and she cannot, she'll never be able to forget that. That's, I got to tell you, Hillary, you got to go to therapy.
You got to get rid of that anger, that hostility.
