Now it's the Todd Stern Show on the Mighty 990 AM and 1079FM KWIN. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. Saxons! I love this American And happy New Year's Eve, America. It is your host, Todd Stearns, the voice of truth and hope across America.

Great to have you with us today as we celebrate this last day of the year of our Lord 2025. 2026, just hours away. And I hope you guys are doing something big for the New Year's Eve celebration. I can tell you that you're surely, I'll be anchoring. I'm doing double duty, pulling a double shift over on Newsmax later tonight.

But thinking about heading down to Beale Street later this evening. The great thing about Memphis, it's now safe to go outside. And we're so excited. I was talking to somebody who was down at the Peabody Hotel, and they saw the ducks, and they said, Todd, the ducks aren't wearing Kevlar. This is great news, and it's all because of Donald J.

Trump. And so, I mean, we're expecting thousands and thousands of people down on Beale Street to ring in the new year. They used to drop, what was it, a guitar or something? I don't know. That was back in the day.

I think now it's just a regular ball.

So we're going to have to work on that. But we got to drop something. Drop it like it's hot. Anyway, we got to do that. And we'll work on that.

Nashville. is going to be insane down on Lower Broadway. And of course, Times Square, which is, I don't know, are they they are doing something. They're expecting about a million or so people to turn out. And I remember years ago, back when I was at Fox News Channel, that was my job.

Every New Year's Eve, I was anchoring our coverage there in Times Square. And it was, you know, look, I enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. We actually had a pretty good location. We were set up right in front.

If you've been to New York City Times Square, they have an olive garden there. And the olive garden, right in front of the olive garden, is where the Fox News satellite truck would set up. And that was our sort of our base camp for New Year's Eve coverage. And had a good time. The only time it was really bad is when it was snowing.

Not so much snow, but when you get the freezing rain. And that's always an unpleasant thing.

So anyway, we're very excited to be with you broadcasting this afternoon. We're going to be taking your calls. Got any New Year's resolutions? What are you going to be doing for New Year's? Give us a call, 901-260-5926.

That's 901-260-5926. And we're going to be taking your calls throughout the program.

Sort of like an Open Line Friday, except it's Open Line. What day is it? Wednesday? It's Wednesday. The past two weeks, I I don't I've I've I've lost track of time.

I don't know if that that's just me, but I've I don't know if I'm coming or going.

So look, uh, there's been a lot of angst over the past Past couple of days, people are really frustrated. Around the country. Carrie Lake among them, and she is among many that are saying this is. This is out of control. We're not doing what we promised the voters we were going to do.

We've got to start seeing people. Arrested and thrown in jail. And I don't disagree with that. As a matter of fact, I will say this. That if we don't start seeing people thrown in jail pretty darn quickly, then I'm afraid we never will.

Yeah. And the administration, the Republicans, they've talked a good game. They really have. I mean, they've held the hearings, they've collected the evidence, and they've been doing this for years.

So it's not a matter of, okay, well, you know, give us a few more months. No, we don't have a few more months. The arrests need to happen now. All of this Minneapolis fraud, this Minnesota fraud that's been coming out, they've been investigating that for years, for years. They've got the evidence.

They got the goods. They know who's responsible. Nobody's been arrested. Nobody's been charged. We're still waiting for people to be arrested on the Russia, Russia, Russia.

Nobody's been charged. Nobody's in jail. The Justice Department doing n nothing. And I know there are so many of you out there. You love Dampong Gino, you love Cache Patel, you love Pam Bondi.

And there are many of you that believe that Bongino can do no wrong. Bongino. He, I just don't get this. He built his career. His entire career on how they had all this evidence, but the FBI refused to prosecute, that lives are in danger.

I mean, every single day he was dropping these huge bombshells, and he promised that once he got to the FBI, he was going to just expose everything. We've got nothing, nothing at all. And so there's concern because there are a lot of people that have seen. I've been talking about this for about three weeks now. There are others who are just now coming around to my way of thinking.

And I'm glad they do. And that's typically how it works. You know, we're talking about these issues, and it takes people time to catch up to where we are. But if there's one thing I'm good at, it's reading the general public. And we, the people, are getting pretty frustrated here.

And I'll explain why in just a moment, but here's Carrie Lake on Newsmax last night, cut 16. There's not a damn person in handcuffs. Yet they dragged Roger Stone out of his house. They raided Mar-a-Lago. They attacked President Trump.

When are we going to see some effing handcuffs on some effing criminals in this country? The American people have had it up to here. And we want some people locked up, prosecuted behind bars for the rest of their lives. We're sick and tired of it. Yeah, I think Cary Lake really encapsulates how a lot of people feel around the country right now.

I mean, all the things they did to Donald Trump, raiding Mar-a-Lago, the arrest, all of the fake criminal charges, all of that. No, nobody's been arrested. Nobody's been charged. Look at what's happening in Congress right now. We can't even get the United States Senate.

To pass the SAVE Act. That's a pretty simple piece of legislation. And you know why? Because Jon Thune is hiding behind the traditions of the Senate. There's no law that says we have to have a filibuster.

It's a tradition. There's no law in the Senate that says we have to have the blue slip. It's a tradition. And John Thune would rather protect Senate traditions than advance the America First agenda. And the America First agenda is not just President Trump's agenda.

That's our agenda. Right? I mean, that's. That's what we're all about. That's why we sent everybody to Washington in the first place.

And it was primarily because of Donald Trump. The Republicans writing those coattails But the reality is Congress is not getting a lot A lot done. Really, they're not. By the way, here's Congressman Chip Roy talking about why we have to pause immigration, cut one. Empower the American people to do what they do best.

And we've got to pause immigration. I introduced a bill to pause immigration because we've got to stop this massive abuse of our system using H-1Bs, using diversity visas. President Trump is exactly right to have frozen the diversity visas, to have stopped that, to freeze the flow from countries of concern. Remember that in 1920, when we had a high percentage We froze immigration for 40 years and our country vanquished the Nazis in Germany, freed the world. We did great things in those 40 years.

We can do it again. That's why I introduced legislation to pause immigration. The president's right to do that and I'm supporting him in that effort. Yeah, and we've got to do that. We have to do that.

So, as we go to break here, we're going to open up the phone lines. We're calling it Open Line Wednesday because it's New Year's Eve, a lot of folks just chilling out today, and we respect that and appreciate that. But how do you think the administration has done over the past year? How would you grade the Trump administration? How would you grade Congress?

901260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Every so often, a film comes along that challenges us to look closer at what's happening in our own backyard. Watch it, share it, and stand with those working to be.

Freedom and justice to the exploited. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Sterns Radio Show. Let's go to the phone lines, Ocala, Florida, is where we start our day. Sunny, sunny, happy new year to you.

Mm-hmm. Happy New Year, Charlie. Here's Like what I'm calling it about really is the war in Ukraine. And what bothers me the most is we have the European Union. is a bunch of slackers as far as I'm concerned.

Because what's happening really is Putin went into Ukraine because he wants to reestablish the former Soviet Union. Ukraine falls All those little countries all around Ukraine are going to be next. We can uh win over uh Ukraine They're going to fall like a house of cards, like Domino's, all those little countries.

Sonny, why is that our fight? Why should we be concerned about that? Why should we be concerned about that? It's because Well, technically you can say we don't have to be. But Yeah.

These other countries don't seem to give a damn.

Now we have the UN in the United States. to New York. It sits on six and a half acres of Manhattan. Manhattan's real estate sells by the square foot There's six and a half acres of Nothing. You haven't heard a word about the UN Going after Russia somehow or the other, or condemning them or anything.

I know I haven't. Maybe they have, I don't know. By you pretty up on all this stuff because I'm listening to the radio. a good eight hours a day, if not longer. And I didn't hear anything.

All I heard was how uh the EU is being forced into helping out a little bit. But that's not enough.

So, you think what do you think we ought to do here, Sonny? Do you think we ought to send American soldiers over to Ukraine to fight Russia? Uh I would think that you might be able to get the some uh volunteers to do that. Yeah, they had a few volunteers. Here's the problem I've got with that, Sonny.

It's not our fight. This is not our fight. I think we've got to let, you know, first of all, Ukraine is not an ally. They're not a part of NATO. And if NATO's concerned about it, well, they can handle it.

But I still, to this day, I do not understand why we need to be involved in this war between Ukraine and Russia.

Sonny, I got to run. Good call. Happy New Year to you. Let's go to Salem, Oregon. Kathy, listening to us on KYKN.

Hi, Kathy. What's going on? Good morning. Um Do you think that you were talking about nobody's been arrested or charged or anything? Do you think it has something to do with the fact that The Senate is not letting the President appoint any judges?

That might be on the side of law.

Well, it could be, Kathy. You know, there's a... There's an interesting story out of your neighborhood, by the way, your town. Uh the and it's going viral on on social media. There's a guy that was convicted of murdering a teenage girl.

In 1994, got a life sentence for that crime. It was a pretty heinous crime. Murdered a teen girl. Your Democrat governor commuted his sentence. And now he's been, this guy has been placed on the police review board in Salem, Oregon, Kathy.

This is insanity, to your point, and this is why we need those kinds of judges and we need these kinds of elected leaders that are going to be tough on crime. I thought that President Trump went to the Supreme Court and said, Can you? make these judges follow the law. And I thought that they The Supreme Court told him to knock it off.

Well, there is a process. You know, Congress can go in, they can impeach these federal judges if they. You know, if they violated their oath of office, they can certainly do that. But I'm just, this Congress has been really, it makes them very queasy to do the right thing in many cases. And, you know, we've, I get blowback when I call them the do-nothing Congress, but they really aren't the do-nothing Congress.

Right. Don't Well Let's hope first.

Some better judges in 26. And most definitely. And Kathy, appreciate you calling in. And let's hope the folks there in Salem, Oregon, I can't believe this story. The guy, they voted 5-4 to put a convicted murderer on the police review board.

He was freed after his life sentence was commuted by a Democrat governor. Governor Kate Brown. The guy's name is Kyle Hedquist. And this is This is insanity, ladies and gentlemen. Oh, sorry, Kathy, I didn't realize you were still on.

What were you saying? Oh, I was just going to say, yeah, and but the conservatives and even Democrats. by the petition this past month. And we handed in three times as m We actually need it. to keep them from taxing us again.

Did you hear about it? Did not hear about that, Kathy. We'll look into it, but I got to run. Thank you for that, Kathy, and Happy New Year to you. 901-260-5926.

Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. Who does that? Who actually Who, in their right mind, would appoint a convicted killer? to a community police review board. Who does that?

And this board reviews complaints about police conduct. And then they provide recommendations to the to the police chief. The Salem Police Employees Union, President Scotty.

Nowning said an interview with the ABC affiliate there, KATU. said to think that we're providing education on kind of how we do what we do to someone with that criminal history, it doesn't seem very smart.

Well, no, it doesn't seem smart at all. Unbelievable. But again, this is what happens when you. When you elect Democrats, what can I tell you? All right, 901-260-5926.

Well, they're expecting what about a million people in Times Square for New Year's Eve celebrations, the big ball drop. One of my favorite celebrations, by the way, Mobile, Alabama. And every year they drop a giant moon pie. It's called the Moon Pie Over Mobile Festival. And at the stroke of midnight, they're going to drop a giant moon pie from the sky.

Lots of. I don't know, they're expecting what, 50,000 people. And the big highlight, though, they will be. Eating the world's largest moon pie. That's all happening later this evening at about 7:45.

For the cutting of the moon pie. That's going to be a lot of fun.

So there you go.

So, again, if New York City is not your taste, you can always head on down to Mobile, Alabama. Welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Happy to have you with us today on this New Year's Eve. I want to go right away to our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line, say hello to a great talk radio host. His name is John Justice, and he is the number one talk radio host in Minneapolis Twin Cities News Talk.

John, hope you're doing well today. Happy New Year to you. Minnesota, thank you so much for having me on. Here in Minnesota, we enjoy Broad Pie.

So, unlike the moon pie, we have frog pie here that we'll be enjoying this evening as we head into the news year. Hey, look, however you celebrate, we don't judge here on the show, my friend. Absolutely nothing to talk about in the news in Minneapolis, John. I've never seen such a dull news cycle in your state. I take this vacation that I'm on right now every single year.

I have throughout the decades of my radio career. I have never. seen this level of news coverage ever. During this time of year, it's been absolutely insane to the point where I feel like I haven't even been on vacation. But again, pleased to join you to talk about what's been happening here in Minnesota.

You know, it's fascinating when you watch the coverage over the past, well, I don't know, 48, 72 hours now. Nick Shirley, the 23-year-old independent journalist, going out there and discovering what he's saying is about $110 million in fraud. But the reality here, John, is, and I didn't realize this, but you've got people there that have been investigating this for a number of years now. Yeah, no, this has been going on for, as you mentioned, for years here in Minnesota. The revelations From Nick Shirley and what he did with the video.

And I applaud him for his efforts. And here in Minnesota, we are incredibly thankful that this is getting the coverage that it's getting outside the state. But honestly, it's nothing new. We've had on the ground reporters here that have gone to these outlets in the same way that Nick Shirley has. And we've been stuck in this vicious cycle where You have Potential fraud, red flags.

These centers are investigated. It ends up hitting the media late. They're usually kind of late to go and cover it. you'll have a Democrat or Governor Tim Wallace If it is worthy enough, if there's enough outrage, come out and say, We're going to do something about it. And they'll make some statement, and then it disappears and nothing gets done.

And we've been in this vicious cycle now for the past five, six years. Hopefully, that ends now with the amount of coverage and the spotlight that's on Minnesota on what's actually been going on for quite a long time. Is it true? Because we've heard the reports that there have been some communities that have not been able to get much needed resources because there was no money because of all this fraud that's been going on.

Well, it's been really difficult to keep track of who actually is getting assistance And who needs assistance because of just how convoluted a mess all of this has become within our social service. programs. Let me back up a bit. I'm convinced at this point That once these investigations, and hopefully, they're thorough, are done, we're going to find out that a lot of these programs that have been discovered to be fraudulent weren't even necessary to begin with. They were designed to create This type of redistribution of wealth and fraud taking place.

And so, yeah, there are certain segments of our population that are suffering from a lack of services, and yet you have, in the instance of daycare centers, these abundance of daycare centers and aren't even serving children. It's been wild to watch, and I think it's hard for a lot of people outside of Minnesota to truly sort of get a grasp on what actually has been transpiring under Democrat leadership here.

So it's very similar, I think, in a way to what was happening in Memphis, Tennessee, which is my hometown, one of the deadliest cities in America. And people just could not comprehend the level of crime and violence here until Trump sent in the National Guard. And now crime is now at a 25-year low thanks to the efforts of the National Guard. And I'm wondering if we could see something very similar to that in Minneapolis.

Well, I know that ICE has been boots on the ground doing some of these raids, but it seems to me they've got a massive job ahead of them.

Well, this is what I'm hoping happens. Look, I'm a I'm a states' rights. freedom and liberty kind of guy. But unfortunately, with what we've seen happen here in Minnesota, we need this assistance. We need this intrusion from the Trump administration and the federal government to come in here to uproot what has been taking place.

And again, I don't like the idea of having to have the federal government get this heavily involved. But at this point, it almost demands it if we're going to see any sort of accountability, much in the same way that you've seen these consent decrees. during Democrat years in the White House where you had the DOJ taking over the police departments or putting forward guidelines like they did here in Minnesota. We need something very similar relating to fraud now here in the state, just like we saw when it comes to law enforcement and use of force efforts. We had the Republican was a speaker of the House on my Newsmax TV show a few days ago.

And are you confident that the Republicans you have there in the state are going to be fighters? And they're going to be, I mean, because they're going to have to use blow, they're going to have to use megaphones to get the messaging out here.

Well, no, I listen, I am. I think that Republicans in the state get they catch a lot of heat and a lot of it's unwarranted. they Republicans have attempted over the course of the past several years to implement safeguards over and over again. And the Democrats had all the power. They had the trifecta in twenty three and twenty four.

And they ignored all the warnings. from Republicans, all the efforts to put in safeguards for fraud because we knew it was happening. And even in the wake of last year's election, wherein the Democrats had a slight majority in the Senate by one or two votes, but it was a completely divided House in the legislature, again, Republicans attempted to put in safeguards and they were constantly voted against by Democrats. Republicans have been speaking out. They often do not get any sort of amplification from local media outlets, that is all changing right now.

So the big question for me heading into next year is, are we finally going to have those voices amplified? And I do trust, because they've been putting forth the effort Of Republicans to continue to move forward to get something done about this at the local level.

Well, John Justice joining us on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line today from Twin Cities News Talk. You know, John, I'm curious what your listeners have been saying. I know you're on vacation, but the radio station, you guys must be inundated with lots of callers. Yeah, listen, people are outraged. They're frustrated.

I mean, I'm frustrated. These are you know, you hear the dollar amount coming from the video of Nick Shirley. When you back up and you look at the totality, I mean, it is in the billions of dollars. There are some estimates. That the amount of fraud that has occurred here in Minnesota is actually going to.

be more than the actual GDP of Somalia, considering the fact that ninety percent of this fraud has been perpetuated by the Somali community. We're talking eight, nine, ten billion, eleven billion dollars. And as a taxpayer, who had taxes going up in the state It's frustrating. I echo the sentiments of my listeners that I hear every single day. We are outraged, and accountability has to happen.

You mentioned it before the segment. We have to go and get something done about this. It was even Eric Trump tweeting about this last night. He said arrests have to be made in Minneapolis. They've got to.

Well, and here's and this is the frustrating part because The justice system moves slow. And I know that's hard. It's hard for people to sort of wrap their head around the amount of time and the The manpower necessary to put forward the cases to go and try individuals, you're right. But that being said, everybody's going to need to just be patient to let this. this play out.

And going back to what we were saying a moment ago, given the fact that so much of this is getting this level of coverage during what is usually the slowest news time of the year, when Monday hits next week, I mean, you think that it's loud now. I think the floodgates are going to open even more so when we get fully into the new year. This is just shocking. I'm reading this News Nation piece earlier today. And it's not just the daycare centers, it's assisted living facilities as well.

And they're saying one guy, Gandhi Mohammed, was indicted for laundering a million dollars in one particular case. His LLC owns homes across Minneapolis. Last year, those homes brought in, what, $2.3 million from the state. It's just every single day, it's almost like when you talk about the invasion of our country, you think about the illegals coming across the border. You don't think about what happened with all the intentional relocation of immigrants to places like Minneapolis, for example.

Well, the situation regarding illegal immigration is very similar to what we're dealing with now. Compassion is not allowing people to pour over our southern border or northern border into the country. Compassion is taking away the ability of people to go and make that unlawful choice. It's border security. And the Democrats, the Biden administration, allowed those individuals to come into the country illegally, and we've been dealing with the ramifications of that now.

And now we see something very similar when it comes to what's happened with fraud. These programs that have turned out to be fraudulent, and I'm convinced that the majority of the social service programs, if they're funded by Medicaid or taxpayer dollars, I would be hard pressed to find a program that probably isn't riddled with fraud here in Minnesota. But all these programs were designed for low barriers of entry. You had Democrats in the legislature two weeks ago during a fraud committee hearing who said that the state was taking a trust-but-don't verify approach to the individuals that were opening up these autism centers and daycare centers because they didn't have the manpower to investigate. Those are the excuses that we are getting as to why nothing has been done about this.

And again, it bears repeating. Your governor, we call him Tampon Tim on this program. He's still adamant that the majority of crime committed in your state is committed by the white man. That's the bigger problem in Minnesota, the white guy. Yeah.

No, Walls is an absolute buffoon. Listen, he's a true believer. The Democrats, when they had the trispective for those years that I mentioned, you can't go all in on redistribution policies. It's not going to be accepted by the public, right? These far left.

Marxist ideologies. And so instead, they kinker around the edges. I'm convinced this is all just a redistribution of wealth. It's designed to be just that. It's unsustainable, and we're learning about that now.

But they allowed this to happen, and they turned a blind eye because they desperately want that voting block every single election cycle. And so now you see Republicans pushing back on the individuals perpetuating the fraud, and the left goes and cries racism. When the truth of the matter is, it's the left and the Democrats' fault. They allowed this to happen. They took advantage of this community and allow them to go to go and perpetuate this level of fraud.

All right, John, we're going to leave it there. And man, I really appreciate you. I mean, I didn't realize you were on vacation. We would have uh we could have set something up for next week, but uh we appreciate you taking some time. Come on.

By the way, John, we are thinking that we're in the early stages of this, but you know. Everybody else is doing it, so we are thinking about launching our own Somalian daycare center working working name We Little Warlords.

So if you want in, just let us know. X, you got my number? I'm right there with you. Fantastic idea. John Justice, everybody, Twin Cities, News Talk radio host there in Minneapolis.

We appreciate him coming on. And, you know, again, if you guys went in on the, I mean, again, ground level of our new project, we're working on the LLC right now, We Little Warlords. It is a daycare center exclusively for the Somalians.

It is Open Line Friday, 90 or Open Line Wednesday, rather, 901260-5926. That's 901260-5926. So, you know, we talked a few moments ago about the moon pie drop in Mobile, Alabama.

Someone weighed in on our YouTube live stream. And by the way, we do stream the show live. You can watch us on YouTube or Rumble. And we monitor and I love to engage with folks in the live chat. And someone brought up a very interesting point about New York City.

So they're already allowing people to get to their spot. In Times Square, but you can't leave.

So once you get your spot, you're there until the ball drops. That's it. And so a lot of people, and you can't go to get water, you can't get anything to eat. You got to bring it all with you. And you're not allowed to.

Go to the bathroom.

So, there are no bathrooms available to you.

So, someone pointed out in the live stream, which is accurate. People wear diapers, and that's what they do.

So they literally go to the they go to their the bathroom in their pants, the little poopy pants. And I will just tell you From personal experience.

Now, we didn't have to do that as journalists because we had press passes, so we could just go back and forth. Fox News headquarters is just a block off Times Square, so we were able to do that. But um the Right around 10:30 or 11, there's a unique odor that permeates Times Square. I'm just going to leave it. Leave it at that.

It's not a very pleasant odor, and you don't want to beat downwind. The problem with our Fox News location, which is at the Olive Garden, is that you are getting that smell coming and going. It was not a fragrant odor. I'll just say that. By the way, speaking of New Year's Eve, there are lots of other things that actually drop around the nation.

Many towns, many cities have their own celebrations. I know in Georgia, they used to drop a peach. Do they still drop the peach? They're in downtown Atlanta. And of course, in what is it, North Carolina, I believe it was Bald Daub.

For years, they would drop a possum at the stroke of midnight. And the possum was, no, they didn't literally drop the possum. The possum was in like a glass case. Plexiglass case. And so once midnight, you know, you hit midnight, and then the possum is humanely lowered.

To the ground, and people celebrate. It's like a highfalutin. I mean, it's a really fun event, but apparently, PETA got involved. And they said it was inhumane. And the people in charge of the annual possum drop tried to explain to PETA that actually this was the safest place for the possum to be.

Because historically, once they once the plexiglass box hits the ground, they open it and the possum scurries across the road and immediately gets hit by a pickup truck.

So it seems to me that if you're you know I mean, if you're PETA, you would rather than be in the Pulsey Glass case as opposed to being roadkill on the, you know, on the highway. But that's just me. But that's just me. So, anyway, I'm curious if you guys are dropping anything. In your local communities.

I know that, for example, in North Carolina, Mount Olive, you guys drop a giant pickle over at the Mount Olive Pickle Company. That sounds like a lot of fun. Kosher, too. All right, hang tight, everybody. Got to take a break.

That's why I love this American. Todd start. Oh, happy New Year's Eve, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. We are broadcasting border to border, coast to coast.

Across the fruited plain. And man, lots of exciting events are happening all over America, and we want to hear from you. Normally on Friday, we do Open Line Friday, but today, being something of a holiday, we're going to do Open Line Wednesday. You can call and talk about whatever is on your mind today. Also, we want to know about your local New Year's Eve celebrations.

We've told you about the Possum drop. We've also told you about the great moon pie drop in Mobile, Alabama. Just got a note from our good buddy Noah down in Pascagoula, Mississippi, at our great affiliate there. And he said, Todd, in Panscagoula, they do an anchor drop off the top of the tallest building in town. Which is only about 150 feet tall, but still that's pretty tall.

So you don't want to be under the anchor when it falls, I guess. Also, in Bay St. Louis, they do a giant oyster drop. And in Pensacola, he says they used to do a giant 200-foot pelican drop. What is a pelican?

You don't want to be under a pelican dropping something. You don't want to do that. But anyway, they stopped doing that because of COVID. You know, the pelicans, all the birds, they always hit my candle. Like, I don't know what it is with that.

Anyway, great to have you with us. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, and there are a lot of great organizations that are rising up across the nation to fight the mass migration of people invading our nation, also fighting for their state's heritage. And that's exactly what our next guest is all about, Nathan Roberts, who's the co-founder of Save Heritage Indiana.

Nathan, good to have you with us today. Thank you for having me, Todd. Happy New Year.

Well, Happy New Year.

Now, I know that you're in the Indianapolis area. Do you guys have like a big celebration there in Indianapolis? I don't think so. You know, I don't really go to downtown Indianapolis very much because it's filled with like homeless and crime right now. There's like a Christmas celebration, but I don't know if there's a New Year's thing, but I I will say Indiana football, Indiana University, they're playing Alabama at the Rose Bowl tomorrow.

So everybody's going to be watching that. I think you guys have sort of become the Cinderella team. I mean, it's a great football program, but I think a lot of people are really rooting for the Hoosiers. I think so too, because it's not really a great football program at all, actually. It's historically the worst program.

They have the most losses of any team ever in college football. They haven't won anything in my entire lifetime. And now they have a bunch of like three star recruits and they're favored by seven points against Alabama. And a Heisman Trophy winner, yeah. Eisenhower Trophy winning.

People say it's like the greatest turnaround in sports history because it just took two years. I don't know if Coach Signetti, their head coach, has given the players steroids or what the secret sauce is, but. It's pretty incredible. Yeah, don't ask, don't tell there, Nathan. Just let it go.

Let it go. Just enjoy the moment. Let's talk about what you guys are up to over at Safe Heritage, Indiana. You say on your website our home is being invaded. That ends today.

How bad is it there in Indiana?

Well, it's really bad. Indiana has had the largest foreign born increase Between the years of 2021 to 2025, the foreign-born percent in Indiana has increased by 50%, which is the highest of any state in the country.

So a lot of states have had this problem, especially when Biden took office. But Indiana is number one in that regard. And that is despite Indiana voting for Trump three times. Having Republican senators, U. S.

Senators, U. S. House members, and supermajority in the Republican State House and State Senate. But despite that, we had the largest foreign born increase, which obviously there's never there's never been a discussion on it. It's never been a political topic.

It's happened totally behind the scenes. What is it that compelled you to to jump into the political fray?

Well So I was talking to my friend, and well, he actually wasn't my friend at the time. He was just somebody I met on Twitter. And Gid ran a previous nonprofit group, but we really realized the time to do this is right now. In Indiana, There's groups that deal with every single issue at the state house. You have pro-abortion, anti-abortion, dogs, cats.

Healthcare lobbyists. Pro-gun, anti-gun, education, but there's nothing on immigration, despite immigration being always the first or second issue that matters the most. Yeah. Um voters and Republican voters especially. And all it takes is one Democratic President to get back into the White House which probably will happen at some point.

And then they just open the borders again and don't enforce the laws. And then states are totally helpless for that unless they have strong laws at their own level to protect against that.

So that's what State Critics Indiana is trying to do. It's pretty unique, I think, because a lot of people, when they're focused, on immigration only do like federal stuff. But states have tons of power. To protect themselves from illegal immigration as well. You guys had this terrific quote on your website from Teddy Roosevelt, and Roosevelt was a ferocious patriot.

He says, We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, that is the English language, and we have room for but one sole loyalty, and that is a loyalty to the American people. And yet, Nathan, I don't know if you've noticed, well, I guess you have noticed this, this new batch of migrants we're getting and the refugees, they don't want to embrace the American way of life. They want to bring what they fled and they want to implement it here on American soil. Absolutely.

I think the best test if you're a quote unquote assimilated American is: do you consider yourself to be 100% American, have no foreign allegiances, no foreign Sort of loyalties? Or do you consider yourself to be 100% of the people? No doubt about it. There are some immigrants, many I've met who support our organization that say, I consider myself to be 100% American and I love what you guys are doing. is a lot of these immigrants that come here and they still want to just be Um they want to have their little enclave of the country that they left.

Who are the ones that really do not like what we're doing because we're calling out that sort of behavior? It's bad for everything. You don't want your to raise your children in an area where people have so many different Sort of um Belief systems, and don't even agree on the basics of what America is, what the Constitution is, what politics are. That's why people love to blame.

Sort of politicians like Ilhan Omar and AOC and Zora Mambani on all these random issues, but it really is. I think seventy percent of the people that voted for Zoran Mamdani in New York were either foreign born themselves or had somebody in their family who's foreign or in someone in their household who's foreign born. And it's like How do you expect those people to understand arguments against Zara Mamdani, when we're talking about like the First Amendment or the Second Amendment or Christianity or things like that. they didn't grow up in that sort of environment.

So of course they're going to vote for people like Zora Montana. You know, I think about even my own family, my mom's side of the family, they came from, they fled Germany during World War I and came to America. And my grandfather was a small child. He went on to serve in the military in World War II. And, you know, our family history is.

We fled from a different land, a foreign land. We came here. We learned the language. We adapted to the culture. And we certainly celebrate the heritage.

But again, when they came here, my great-grandparents were Americans. And I don't think that we have no assimilation anymore. And that's one of the biggest problems I see in the country right now. Absolutely. If anything, I would say there's kind of a reverse assimilation that's going on.

A lot of people who Who've been in the country for 50 years, their grandkids are much less patriotic than the first generation immigrants that came themselves. There's a famous sort of statistic. which said that. In the UK, which is obviously slightly different, but it's similar to America. In the UK, there were more Muslims there that joined ISIS in the 2010s and joined the British military.

It's much harder to join ISIS than the military. But you had radical imams, radical Muslim imams in Britain that were preaching hate against that country. And then a lot of their kids and grandkids ended up joining ISIS, more so than the British military.

So it's not at all a guarantee that just because somebody's here For a long period of time, they will assimilate. You have to have a culture that says, no, it's not a choice. You have to assimilate. And I'm not anti-immigration, I'm not anti-immigrant. There's tons of immigrants that come here who I'm sure are perfectly good, but you can't just.

bank that they'll bank on them assimilating over time, you have to enforce it. Yeah. All right, Nathan Roberts with us on the website, folks. I want you to check this out: saveheritage Indiana.org. That's saveheritage Indiana.org.

And you'll be able to find all sorts of great information about the work there. What is the most pressing thing that you guys are doing? What is the first step, the first thing you guys want to accomplish there in Indiana? Follow it. Um right now there's two competing uh immigration bills.

that are going through the state house in 2026. Basically, both will do some version of EVerify, which basically mandates that. Employers have to know who they're hiring and make sure they're here legally. That's extremely important. Because as much as, I mean, I would 10 times increase ICE funding.

Right. You're not just going to be able to deport everybody with ice. That's so much work. Tons of money would be required to do that.

So the best way to tackle this problem Is basically to find out what the economic levers that are bringing them to our country are.

So e-verify is super important. We're supporting bills that will not recognize illegal immigrant driver's license from other states, because there's about 20 states that do give driver's license to illegal immigrants. Just California and New York. There's some states like Florida, Tennessee and Wyoming that have said we're not recognizing a legal immigrant driver's license. That's super important.

Right now in Indiana, you can take the driver's test in 13 languages. Which I think is ridiculous. Because there's no language on any road signs assigned to English. And also, we support a remittance tax Because a lot of these immigrants, they undercut wages and then they just send all the money back home.

So I don't really see what we're getting out of that. Not at all. It's, yeah, this is, there's so much that, and we're going to get you back on the show. This is such an important issue for all of us who love our country. And folks, I'd encourage you to go and check out saveheritage Indiana.org.

Nathan, we're going to have to leave it there. I hope you and your family have a happy new year. Thank you, sir. Happy New Year.

All right. There you go. Just a terrific organization out of the heartland. And again, you would not think that Indiana would have such a big problem with this, but they do. And it's exciting to see people mobilizing.

This group, Save Heritage Indiana, I suspect is going to grow pretty quickly. They've already got over 7,000 folks there in the Hoosier state that are signing on for their programs. All right. We're going to take, you know, before we go to the break, I want to work in a call here. Let's go to San Francisco.

Lisa is on the line. Lisa, happy New Year's Eve to you. Happy New Year's Eve to you too. What's on your mind?

Well, I wanted to originally give more of an internationalist perspective about New Year's and what that means. for people around the world. And I was listening. What I like to do sometimes on New Year's Eve is listening online. to different radio stations around the country to hear what other people are listening to.

And I've got to tell you, man, I'm feeling very, very discouraged by Um this um very Clear. anti-immigrant um attitude of the last caller you had. I understand that everybody has a right to have their opinions. Um and I respect that. But I'm going to just give a very quick, very quick international perspective.

Well, no, no, no. No, well, I'm more interested in the American perspective, Lisa. And I I just want to ask you, what exactly is anti-immigrant about what our our previous guest said.

Well, first of all, you're not taking into consideration the fact that during the most most of the past one hundred years, America or the United States more appropriately because America is actually a continent. has been involved in pursuing its interests, not the American people's interests, but the interest of uh global Uh, the interest basically of big business, you know, like the oil companies and things like that. Invading many of these different countries or Inflicting dictatorships like the United States CIA inflicted the dictatorship against Chile in 1973.

Okay, but but what but he didn't have anything he didn't say anything about that.

So I'm just wondering, you said the previous guest said things that were anti-immigrant, and I'm wondering what specifically is anti-immigrant about what he said.

Well, he's implying that people come here and they don't follow the laws or the rules or that they don't want to assimilate into the American way.

Well, they don't. We've got the evidence. People are marching in the streets with Palestinian flags, Somalian flags, Mexican flags. And I'm one of them because In fact, the United States has been funding the genocide for the last two years, and also the United States has been supporting and talking about a. What genocide?

Whoa, whoa, whoa, what genocide have we been supporting? It seems that people have been supporting the genocide against the. No, you said you made a pretty heinous accusation there. What genocide? There's a genocide happening right now in Gaza where 2 million people are being forcibly starved and have been bombed for the past two years.

Yes, and you know who's responsible for that? Not the United States, not Israel, but Hamas, the terrorists. It did not start in October 7th. We've been people that were completely wiped, that were completely ethnically cleansed in 1948. And the United States has been supporting you want to talk about ethnic cleansing?

Let's talk about what happened to the Jews during World War II. All right, we got to run here, Lisa. I'll have more to say about this after the break. We'll be right back. Oh.

All right. I wish we had more time with Lisa, who, by the way, is a seminar caller.

So, some of these leftist groups get folks to call in. And she, look, she was going after Nathan Roberts for something he did not say. Just because we want people to come into this country legally and assimilate once they get here does not make you anti-immigrant, it doesn't make you xenophobic. She was trying to throw all these accusations at us. And when you're going to call in and you're going to take me to task for something, and I welcome those calls, but you have to come armed with the facts.

You just can't spew the talking points of these left-wing groups, and you can't expect me not to respond to those things.

So, anyway, maybe Lisa will do her homework next time and give us a call back, and she'll be able to. make her point, but I don't think she's got a point to make. That's ultimately the issue. All right, let's go to Tom in Georgia, W-D-U-N. Tom, what's on your mind?

Hey, happy New Year, Todd, to you, your staff, and everybody listening. Thank you.

So, my wife and I a few years ago, we conquered the New Year's Eve blues because we ain't Young enough to put up with ABC. We don't like the m you know, we used to watch that rock and Christmas Eve, but not no more.

So, what we do, and then I want to talk about the mobile real quick. We watch comedy. We started with Tim Hawkins a couple of years ago, and we we had to be careful with our hors d'oeuvres leading up to midnight when we swallowed, 'cause if we did it if we swallowed at the wrong time, it didn't end up going down the throat. It ended up going out in the air somewhere.

So we do that. And last year we watched them old Dean Martin Celebrity Roast until 4:30 a.m. Wow. We've done that since we dated.

Now, mobile, Todd. Tom, hang tight. Tom, hang tight. Computer's going to cut us off, but I want you to finish your thought, so don't hang up. Let's put Tom on hold.

Folks, got to take a quick break. We'll be right back. All right, happy New Year's Eve to you, America. Real quick, before we get to LizPeak, I want to finish up our conversation with Tom in Georgia.

So, Tom, you were telling us about the big moon pie drop in Mobile, Alabama. Yes, sir.

So I in my bucket list I got I don't have the normal bucket list. One of them is to go to Mobile, have some wonderful seafood on New Year's Eve and watch the moon pie come down. But here's what's missing. Where is RC Coca Cola? They need to get into this.

And I want to buy them one of them shirts that says, I was at New Year's Eve twenty thirty or whatever, and I had me and R. C. Coca Cola in the Moon Pie. Come on, R. C.

Coca Cola, get with the program. Yeah, I'm with you there. There needs to be an RC Cola. You got to have one nearby to wash down the moon pie. I completely agree with you.

Tom, I will tell you this: you got to go down there. It's so much fun, and it's a family-friendly event. You're going to love it. Happy New Year to you. And let's go to our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line.

Say hello to our good friend Liz Peake. And Liz, I am curious: have you ever been to the Mobile Alabama moon pie drop for New Year's Eve? I sure haven't. Obviously, I have not lived.

So, you know, sad to miss it. I can sense that in your voice, Liz Speak. Do you guys do you know, a lot of people think that the crowd in Times Square for New Year's Eve is actually New Yorkers. I found that not necessarily to be the case. What say you?

No. Definitely not. I think my kids tried to do it one year, and it's pretty daunting, I must say. We have never gone. Although I've got to tell you, one year we went This is so boneheaded.

I ma I got theater tickets for my husband and myself. I thought, well, this would be a sort of fun, different thing to do on on New Year's Eve because I think we sort of shy away from these huge, extravagant parties and whatnot.

So we went to the theater and halfway through we kept hearing all these sort of rumbling and like crowd noises. I'm thinking, what is that?

Well, of course, duh, the theater district is right next to Times Square. And we happened to be in a theater that was perilously close to Times Square.

So when we got out, there were crowds of that horrifying thing of crowds of people sort of surging one way and then moving another way. And I'll tell you what, we just started walking west to get away from it, and we did. But huge crowds like that scare the dickens out of me. I would never go to that. Liz, one year I got caught up, I was over on the 7th Avenue side, and you're right, those crowds are so massive, you have to literally go where the crowd is going.

And I think I finally was able to jump out of it at like 23rd Street.

So it's quite the same. It's very creepy. Yeah. And you kind of think, what happens if somebody gets frightened by something? I mean, that's the thing.

I mean, in this day and age where there's so many untoward events, And Shocking things that happen. Oh, my gosh, I can't even imagine. Anyway, you know, everyone has something they want to do on New Year's Eve. We're going to spend it with our children and grandchildren at an event called the Cinderella something or other, and it ends at 10 p.m. I think it's pretty terrific.

Then get home and watch everything else on TV tonight.

So there you go.

Exactly. You have a great new column up at FoxNews.com. Five unforgettable lessons we all learned in 2025, but some Democrats still did not. And I love that you start out with climate because just a few days ago, we played Dan Rather from 1982 saying that by this time, Florida would be completely underwater because of climate change. And I'm in Florida.

Guess what? We're breathing normal air. It seems perfectly fine. Honestly, as I approached the end of the year, Todd, I kept thinking, wow, they were wrong about this. They were wrong about that.

And the good news is it isn't just people on the right saying this. Obviously, when Bill Gates, who's a longtime climate warrior, writes sort of a piece and says, guess what? This is not going to kill humanity. We're going to manage this. And it's really more important right now to focus on people's well-being.

Well, yes, that's the message. That many of us have been talking about for a decade. That, yeah, you can basically shut down human life and emissions will go to zero. Congratulations, you've killed everybody, but hey, the climate is in great shape. What a stupid premise.

And in fact, it has been variations on that theme that has propelled any number of Democrat governors and mayors to adopt. Policies that are just antithetical to the well-being of their citizens. For example, In New York State, of course, they banned fracking some time ago because that was politically acceptable. But then they also banned the importation of natural gas via pipeline, no new pipelines to be built.

Well, guess what? Everybody cooks with natural gas, they heat with natural gas, it is essential to the well being.

So now all of a sudden, Kathy Hochl, a died in the wool climate challenge person, Governor of New York, following in the footsteps of the ghastly Andrew Cuomo, who initiated this whole fatwa on fossil fuels in New York. Sure enough, she has done a 180, and now she is allowing a new natural gas pipeline to be built. And of course, the climate zealots are up in arms. But meanwhile, you can't get a hookup. in a lot of towns now in New York State.

If you build a new house, you can't get natural gas brought in.

So it's just plain stupid. And they've tried to push everybody to electrical heat, electrical everything. But guess what, Doc? The grid isn't there. The power's not there.

And so it's been just unbelievably short-termism. And by the way, same thing in California. all these states that adopted these absurd Regulations on fossil fuels, trying to get rid of them. they're now having to rethink. And by the way, same thing's happening in Europe.

Where Basically, you've lost a decade of growth. This is a fact. Because of climate regulations that simply haven't mattered, haven't moved the needle on global climate. Emissions. But has really, really dumbed down the opportunities and well-being of Europeans.

I mean, it's just being stupid. You know, it's interesting, Liz. Here in Memphis, where we base our show, and my home is in Memphis, two things, observations, Whole Foods. I go shopping there. I try not to cash in my conservative street cred, but they got, you know, pretty good stuff.

I've noticed nobody ever parks in those charging stations. And that's Prime Parking Zone. And I've always thought that was odd. And then just a couple of weeks ago, they announced that Ford, which was building Blue Oval City just right outside Memphis, the largest Ford production plant for EV trucks, the battery-powered trucks. They just announced they're scrapping the whole thing and they're just going to build the old-fashioned gasoline-powered pickup trucks because nobody wanted to drive them.

Yeah, I mean, and that was that's been clear, I would say, for five to ten years, that the inconvenience of having an EV. Is significant. And for a lot of Americans, they simply just don't work. By the way, if you want an EV, that's great. Buy one.

I mean, that's terrific. But the idea that we were going to force Conversion to electric vehicles, which is what Joe Biden wanted to do, and put in place mandates that would make that happen, it was preposterous.

So, Ford has lost tens of billions of dollars trying to comply with unpopular and unnecessary government mandates, top-down. decision making for American consumers, where we're going to decide what kind of car you should buy. And boy, oh boy, what a disaster for Ford Motor Company.

So better late than never. And now this is late, but at least now I think the country has understood that, yes, this whole climate thing is It's not a hoax. President Trump shouldn't say that because the earth has warmed somewhat, but the approaches to fixing that. And to ameliorating the damage done by warming have been totally wrong. And I think now, thankfully, again, people are kind of getting on to that.

Liz Peak. I mean, some are things they're wrong about. Liz, I want to bend your ear on the and by the way, folks, you got to go read the column at Fox News, and she points out five key points here. But I've got to ask you about the economy because, I mean, things are really it looks like the table has been set in 2025. And that was the phrasing that Scott Besant used.

How are things looking? And what do you see happening in 2026 when it comes to the economy?

Well, I do think the table has been set. You've had a tremendous amount of investment coming in and pledged to come into the United States. That has begun, Todd. I mean, I have been tracking, as others have, you know, shovels in the ground. There are a lot of new factories under construction.

That's just going to develop, and meaning more construction people being hired. Eventually, those factories will also be hiring people. I think that whole tariff related effort to onshore production in the United States has been very positive, and I think it will help. The other thing, of course, is the Big Beautiful bill, which because it wasn't in effect last year, people I think will be happily surprised to find that their withholding has gone down because that they're getting taxed on tips, taxed on Social Security at a certain level, et cetera. They will find that their taxes are reduced and the child tax credit's been increased.

So, that is going to have a big impact on. average Americans. And average Americans are going to find themselves thousands of dollars better off. That is huge to me. And then the final thing is that the whole hysteria about tariffs has waned.

And I think now people all those very clever economists and analysts who said the world was coming to an end are beginning to realize that this really has been a very positive program. Yes, Some prices have gone up very modestly as a result. But the government is taking in hundreds of billions of dollars in revenues, and I really sincerely hope the President doesn't squander that on sending checks out to people. Yeah, we all want to get a check in the mail, but it's much more important to begin driving down our deficit and our debt because ultimately that leads to higher interest rates that leads to higher Payments from the government and all kinds of other programs that are very important get crowded out. Anyhow, I'm optimistic that all these things take effect and Americans are going to be better off as a result.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, I think it was Senator Ron Johnson, I believe, from Wisconsin, who said, We don't have the money to give everybody one of those $2,000 checks. Exactly. You know, it is interesting. Whatever the president wants votes. And I hope that voters will be smart enough to kind of look through Some of the nonsense they're hearing from the left-wing media and realize that, yeah, the country's doing pretty well.

So You know, and hopefully that is more important than getting a check in the mail. Yeah, I'd be more interested in getting all of this grift under control. You know, the story out of Minnesota and now California, New York, we've got to get that under control. And again, you're looking at maybe hundreds of billions of dollars in fraud. Yeah.

Well, and that's been going on for far too long. And honestly, it really took a very visible and ugly thing like this Somali cheating in Minnesota on all these different programs to alert people to the fact that, yeah, guess what? When you start throwing big government money around, big government fraud comes next. And it's unacceptable. And I'm hoping that people will begin to say, yeah, no more.

All right. Liz Peake, thank you always for coming on the show. And we certainly wish you and your family a very happy new year. You too, and thank you so much for having me, Todd. All right.

We are real news for real people. All right, welcome back, everybody. Let's go to the phone lines. David in San Francisco. Hi, David.

What's on your mind?

Oh, thanks, Ted. Yes, you were talking about dropping stuff on New Year's. Out here in San Francisco with the tall buildings, You know those big strings of fireworks, you know, like two hundred or maybe even upwards of two hundred per string. Imagine dropping them from the top floor down under the alley below. and the noise resonating around the whole The whole zip code is fantastic.

And we have multiple multiple reasons to drop fireworks out here and multiple New Year's. course, we've got the solstice as the astronomical New Year's, and then we've got our official Americanized one, but then there's the Chinese one, there's Tet, there's we have so many New Year's out here, I think I grow by five or ten years every year.

So the thing I was your previous caller, though. she was talking about Gaza. And to me, what's going on there is really an issue of fracking the Holy Land. They discovered natural gas at least in the year two thousand down there, and they also discovered oil underneath Gaza. And if you remember the seminal classic blazing saddles, where the there's a discovery that they're going to run a railroad through a small town and the evil henchman decides to drive everybody out and he's going to be the corporate state.

He's going to be the company town and he'll destroy everybody in that town in order to get the goods. Same thing's going on in Gaza. Are you sure about that, though? Because, I mean, the natural gas that is actually that they found there is. in a in a field off the coast.

And as far as all the experts are saying, that there's no proven commercially viable oil reserves in Gaza.

Well, that kind of refutes their previous interview with the woman that was claiming that we don't need electrical systems, we don't need solar, we don't need wind power, we just need old gasoline.

Well, they discovered gas under there. Just go to the Oil and Gas Journal. I mean, they've got plenty of the corporate newsletters for the industry. And the fact of the matter is, is if you start looking at the idea that genocide is a funny word, if you're killing people just because you want their mineral rights, It's not a holy genocide. It's a killing them so that they can.

Is that what you're alleging Israel is doing? Israel is killing Gazims because they want the oil? For the mineral rights, absolutely. Where's your proof of that? Where's your proof of that, though?

Well, let's go to Hebraic law. No, I'm just asking your look, I don't want to get into a Hebraic law discussion on national radio with you, but I'm just wondering where is your proof? Because it seems to me they weren't shooting at anybody until they were being shot at.

Well, if you go to the United Nations Commission on Trade and Development.

Well, I think you lost the argument with me, David, when you brought up the United Nations, to be honest with you. I think you have to go back to October 7th. Look at what happened on October 7th. Israel was attacked. And then Israel fought back.

And that's what's going on. And if Gaza wants to do something about their current living conditions, they need to take that up with Hamas. All right, got to take a break here, folks. Hang tight. This is the Tod Stern Show.

Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun totem, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. That's us! That's it! Yeah. I love this American Todd starts.

Well Yeah, happy New Year's Eve, America. Welcome to the Todd Sterns Radio Program. What an honor to hang out with you for the next hour. Three hours of talk radio, noon to 3 Eastern. And this is the final broadcast day of the year.

We're going to be back at it live behind the big, beautiful, huge microphone on Monday, taking a few days off, wrapping up a big major book project.

So we've got our good friend Jeff Stein will be along on Friday, and he'll have anchor duties on Friday.

Well, there's a lot happening as we're gearing up for the midterm elections. Of course, one of the big races we're going to be looking at, the governor of Iowa. And there is a lot to discuss in the great state of Iowa. We have a lot of listeners there in the nation's heartland. Brad Sherman is an ordained minister and wants to be the next governor of the state.

He joins us live on our Patriot mobile. Newsmaker line. Brad, good to have you with us. It's great to be with you, Todd.

So, why is it, why in the world do you want to be governor of Iowa?

Well, sometimes I wonder, but whenever I pray, God makes it very clear why. You know, I've been traveling around the state for years. I've been a pastor for 45 years. I've always been involved in trying to restore the founding. Principles of our nation.

And those founding principles are based on Well, things just like the Declaration of Independence, which says that our rights come from God, not government, and the purpose of government is to protect those rights. Of course, that's a paraphrase, but that's exactly the message that we get from the Declaration. And so we have to get back to those founding principles. And so that's been my campaign slogan. Since we started this race in February, And it's not just a slogan.

It's been my heartbeat for over forty years.

Well, I know that you have been embroiled in this huge controversy there at the State House where they allowed a satanic altar to be displayed in the state capitol. Fortunately, my understanding is most recently the request was turned down. This is from reporting back in November. But I think a lot of people were stunned to realize: wait a second, Satanist in Iowa? Yeah, that was back in twenty three when it was allowed in there.

twenty twenty three, that's when I was in the state legislature. And I wrote several articles. In fact, I think you mentioned it on your show once. And I was asking the governor to remove it. And of course, the excuse they were giving was that it's a free speech issue.

strongly disagree with that position. In fact, one of the guys that the guy that allowed it from the Department of Administrative Services is also a candidate for governor, and he's a pretty good guy. But he's the one that allowed it and his excuse for allowing it in twenty twenty three is it's a free speech issue. And so now they're taking a stand against it, but But back then, I was the first voice to speak up and say it's not a free speech issue. You know, I mean, the the the Preamble to our Iowa Constitution says that we're grateful to the Supreme Being for the blessings we've.

Hitherto enjoyed, and we feel dependence upon him for continuation of those blessings. And so that lays the foundation. You know, for this whole issue of free speech, we just have a twisted interpretation of the First Amendment these days, and we've got to change that. And we also need Republicans like yourself who are willing to stand up and take a stand. I've noticed.

That the endorsement list for you is growing pretty rapidly.

So that's got to be exciting news. Yeah, we're encouraged to have some endorsements. And we haven't pursued endorsements much lately. We had some, we've The ones we got, we got early on, and a few more are adding on. But we've got, you know, on a national level, we've got Jim Garlow.

You're probably familiar with Jim Garlow, wrote those books called Reversed and. And uh well versed. He's a friend and has endorsed us, and he's very much involved in teaching biblical principles. government. And then we've got some of the some of the some of the most uh respected state legislators.

in the House and the Senate that are endorsing me.

So yes, we're very encouraged about that. I'm curious what you would see as the number one most pressing issue there in the state of Iowa.

Well, there are several key issues. I mean, property rights is a big one. I mentioned the Declaration, Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness. Pursuit of Happiness is really Primarily talking about property rights, and there's a big issue now where they're trying to use eminent domain. for a private company for a product that's not a public utility.

And it just shouldn't be happening.

So that's a big issue. I've been fighting against the abuse of eminent domain. Eminent domain for private gain is the phrase that gets passed around a lot. And so we've been fighting that. That's a huge issue I I think I feel like, you know, There are lots of several issues.

I think education reform is a big one. I think that goes to the underlying root of many of our problems. Our education system has been. has been basically taken over in large part and in many cases by left wing thinking people. With the woke ideology and all that.

And so until we This is destroying the minds of our children. and the next generation.

So we have to reform that.

So I think I mean, that's a pressing issue for me. I think the property rights is one of the more surface issues. Certainly, a big field of folks running. What is it that sets you apart from other Republicans in the race?

Well, I think I think just my ears. Of doing a lot of grassroots work is one of the big issues and the broad range of experience I bring. I mean, I grew up driving dozers and drag lines. Doing farm drainage work, and I always make the joke that I literally have swamp draining experience. And so that's an interesting part of it.

But a lot of blue collar work, a lot of grassroots work. You know, in terms of being involved in the party, you know, I've been a Led caucuses, county chair, convention delegate, all the way to the national level, and then, of course, serving in the legislature. I really understand the whole grassroots issue that how important that is here in Iowa and And been deeply involved in that for many years.

So that's a big thing. And then, of course, And I've done home building and real estate development and some of that on the side as well during those 45 years of pastoring. But I think passing is underrated. by many people because you help people all the way from you Yeah, you you Do their weddings, you dedicate their babies, you help them through tough times, and some, and then, you know. Um bury their loved ones, you know, and then you help them build their careers and their faith.

And So there's a broad range of experience when you're actually working with people face to face. Mm. All right. Brand Sherman, everybody, on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line running for governor in Iowa. Pastor, where can people get more information on your campaign?

Well, our website is called Sherman for Iowa.com. Sherman for Iowa.com. And there's information there. And we, and there's an email address there as well. If people have questions, we welcome people to send in their questions and.

Contact us that way as well. All right. Well, we wish you the very best, Brad, and thank you for taking a few minutes to hang out with us today. It's my pleasure. It's a pleasure to be on your show.

I've been looking forward to it. Ever since I met you in Waterloo a while back.

Well, it was a great event. KXEL, our good buddy Jeff Stein, knows how to throw one heck of a great shindig, and so do the Republicans. And we had a yeah, that was a fun that was a fun dinner event. It was. It was.

Well, we're going to be on the air with Jeff next Monday, I think. Wonderful.

Well, Brad, we're going to leave it there. Again, we wish you the very best. Brad Sherman, everybody, running for the governor of Iowa.

So there you go.

All right, we've got to take a quick break here: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Yeah. North Carolina, Patty is on the line.

Hi, Patty, what's going on? Happy New Year to you. Oh, happy New Year to you two, buddy. Listen, I knew right away before when the call came from San Francisco, the first call, I knew that that was a Karen. That's definitely a Karen.

And the second call from San Francisco was Karen Sprenz. We we had some seminar callers from San Francisco today. Yeah, yeah. They're both in the same house.

Okay, and if they you know, a two of them can't think for themselves.

Okay, here we go. Don't get me started, Todd, right now, okay? It's New Year's. It's New Year's. Let's ring the New Year, okay?

Anyway.

So I had to get mad. I was so mad when I heard her. If I could crawl through this phone, which I probably can 'cause I am ninety pounds, I probably could crawl through this phone and probably could have kicked her rear end, I'm telling you. But um, listen, I don't like anybody making fun of you, okay?

Well, I appreciate that. Patty, I know you're a firecracker, and I appreciate that. I'm a firecracker, and I'm telling you, I got God with me, man. With God, anything's possible. This is true.

Don't mess with Panty. Don't mess with Panty, folks. I'm from Jersey. I might live in North Carolina, but I never, Jersey never left this body, okay? I never.

So, anyway, so I'm in such a good mood because I'm, you know, I'm healthy. Thank you, Lord. I love listening to you. Right. Get me going when I hear people trying to play you.

And if I could get them to, uh you don't even know. I mean, they yeah, whatever.

So when you get a phone call from a, you know, from a left state, you know what they're going to do, right? They're going to they're going to try to play you.

Well, it's it's a little fun. It's sort of like a cat and mouse game, Patty. That's why we let the callers through. And we real I really do hope that they come armed with some sort of an argument. But that's what was disappointing to me is that these folks, you know, they called into the show and they were not prepared.

What? It's Did you expect any more? They're idiots. They're the people that vote for Newsome. These are the people that vote for ma kamal Kamala Harris.

Look, they have no brains.

So when you see a screen, we get you on your screen before you see San Francisco or any luck whatever, lucky state. You know they can't think on their own. And just take it from there. I mean, me, I was born in Jersey, but I grew up in a Republican household. My parents were both Republicans.

My father was a Nixon fanatic. My father loved President Nixon.

Well, it was, yeah, there are a lot of good, good conservative folks, Republican folks there in New Jersey. No doubt about it. And I grew up in a good household, Todd, and you know, I just wanted to say, but I want to get before we hang up. Listen, about Minnesota, Minnesota. Uh I was just watching Fargo a couple of nights ago.

Have you seen Fargo? I have seen Fargo. It is a great movie. It is. But they remind me of the Minnesota.

Minnesota. You know, I had to catch myself because I've noticed when I've been talking about Minnesota, and I'm like, whoa, where did that come from?

Now it's like when I was like mini Somalia. Open Pity Somalia. Wow, that's good. I like that. Minnesota.

And you know what? And are you learning anything today, Todd, from Minnesota?

Well, we are hearing that there are a lot of ice raids happening. Oh, that's another thing. Can I bring something up? You know what? I got good news.

Got good news before I go. My son. Future son-in-law just got in with ICE. Guess what? My future son-in-law, John.

Who is with my daughter? My daughter, listen to me, Jersey's coming out again. My daughter in Jersey, Lauren, they're getting married in a couple of months. He just joined ICE. He's at the facility in Newark.

Is that right? Yes, I am the most happiest mother-in-law. Run it off! Is he going to let your ride alongs do some ride-alongs, Patty? I c this I want to see that.

I want to meet my I you don't want to meet my with Bevino. I want to meet Greg Bevino.

Well, you know what? He was actually how did I run into that guy? I think he was in Memphis, and I've actually got his card downstairs on my desk. Yeah. I love him and I I was oh my god because Lauren's like mom just calm Lauren was like trying to calm me down I was more excited about my about him joy and nice you got the vaccine's ready What?

You got the vapors. I am like, I'm ice, icy. And let me tell you something. I am so glad, you know.

So he joined. It took him a while. He said it was a vigorous workout. He said, you got to learn a lot. I mean, it's not an overnight thing.

You've got to really know what you're doing. And his name is John. I mean, shout out to John. And he's at the Newark facility. And God bless him.

I want him to be safe. And he did a really good job. He worked for the Transit Authority in New Jersey. Yeah. Good for him.

Good for him. Well, that's exciting.

Well, congratulations. That's exciting. Are you guys very busy in planning the wedding and all that? Yeah, yeah, we don't want a big thing. She's like, Mom, Yeah.

Yeah. He's not into the money, big money or anything like that. They've been together for five years, okay?

So typically they're married already. Yeah, well take 'em all down to the Waffle House or, you know, Denny's. He loves all that stuff. Yeah, he's very down to earth. I love this guy.

I know. Yeah, that's great. But anyway, but God bless you. God bless your whole staff. Have a happy new year, Todd.

You know what? I think we're going to have a good year. I think I really believe we're going to. Yeah, I do too. I do too, Patty.

I'm feeling really good about it.

Well, God bless you, Patty. Congratulations. Always enjoy hearing from you, and a happy new year. Did you get my? Yeah.

I'll have to go downstairs. I have a pile of cards that I haven't opened yet. I'm sure you do. Oh, my God. I'm sure you do.

But all right, I'm going to look for it. Todd. All right, Pam. I'll talk to you next week or something. You guys take care.

All right. God bless old Patty from Statesville, North Carolina. She is a pistol. You know, she's going to be tagging along on some of those ice rates. Those illegals better be s they better be scared.

I have a question for you. Carl Rove is over on Fox. And he's he's throwing down against Trump. And he says the problem with Trump now is that his pace is unrelenting. And he says the pace is also unsustainable.

And he said there are signs the public is tiring of his hyperbole and his insatiable desire for retribution. Increasingly they may hear only the offensive or cruel things he says. Has has the President convinced himself that he doesn't need to sell his policies and actions? It appears that he believes he can will he can will people into agreeing with him by claiming his achievements are the biggest, the best and the most amazing in history. Rove goes on to say.

Trump's gone way too far by slapping his name on buildings, the Donald J. Trump and JFK Center for the Performing Arts. and government programs like the Navy's Trump class battleship. He might receive a fawning reaction from his mega base, but the average American finds such narcissism off-putting. Is that how you see the president's behavior?

Do you see it as being narcissistic? Are you put off? by the the President's behavior of late. Just curious, I know Rove hates a guy's guts. He's never been a Trump fan.

And I'm curious to hear your thoughts on that. But Carl Rove. On Fox talking About President Trump and says that it's leading to a very bad place in Republican politics. Our telephone number, 901-260-5926, we'll take your calls on that. 901-260-5926.

Do you find? Your president, Donald J. Trump, to be off-putting. You know what I find off-putting? That nasty whiteboard that guy totes around all the time.

Unbelievable. All right, gotta take a break here. We'll be right back, everybody. You know, one of my favorite stories of the year came from our good buddy Jeff Gatz over at WRVA, which happens to be our great radio affiliate there in Richmond, Virginia. They should be carrying us noon to 3 Eastern.

They do not, but we're working on it. Jeff Kantz joining us on our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Kantz, can you put in a good word for us? I am putting in multiple words, my friend. Multiple words.

Some of them mono, I mean poly, you know, with a lot of letters and everything in them.

So the whole this story that we're about to talk about, I'm just shocked it did not happen in Memphis. This is really a Memphis story that is happening in the Richmond area. Can we talk about the the drunk raccoon? Heck yeah, we can. I am wearing my trashed panda sweatshirt today, in fact.

You bet you so this raccoon, I mean, this was you at first you think it's all made up. This is AI video, but it is the it is an honest to go to story about a raccoon that broke into a liquor store, got drunk, and then passed out in the bathroom. Yeah, now I have to tell you something, Todd, it was the Ashland ABC store. And how did I know that? I recognized it from the photo, which is kind of sad, but that is my ABC store, my friend.

It's not more than a mile from my house. Wow. So hold on. I've got to stop you there.

So, years ago when I was at Fox, there was a barbecue joint. No, a church got kicked out of a barbecue joint in New York City. They rented it on Sunday mornings for their worship space, and they got kicked out because the owner of the barbecue joint was really upset over their views on gay marriage or something.

So, anyway, I asked the church, I said, Oh, what barbecue joint? And they said, Well, we don't want to say, you know, we don't want to cause a scene.

Well, I took one look at the photograph and I knew exactly what barbecue joint it was. I'm like, Holy crap, that's my barbecue joint.

So, I can relate. I can relate.

So, So you saw the videos, and you're like, holy crap, I've been in that bathroom. I.

So take us through what happened.

Well, there is a very social raccoon. And as you know, south of the Mason-Dixon line, we refer to raccoons as trash pandas. And this guy was walking on the roof of that particular little shopping center. And he came down some of the electrical wires and then kind of crashed through the ceiling just a little bit. And then he did some serious tippling and sampling and taste testing and comparison shopping.

And he consumed what can only be described as a massive amount of adult beverages and then staggered to the bathroom and passed out like probably one or two or ten college students have in the past. The poor raccoon was drunk as a skunk. He was indeed. And he was rescued by one of our Hanover County animal control officers, Officer Martin, who comes from a law enforcement family. Her dad was a captain in the Richmond Police Department.

And the sad news was she reported, Todd, that she had actually interacted with this drunk raccoon drunk before and took him back to the great outdoors and released him. And we're just waiting for the next sighting. Yeah, that's, you know, it reminded me, this whole story reminds me of the possum drop in North Carolina, which they had to stop because PETA got upset. But I don't know. I just sort of saw some similarities between the two stories.

Oh, it is. It's an interesting story, Todd.

Now, here's the other thing. I don't know how smart raccoons are. And this raccoon may not be the smartest, or he may need like a 12-paw six. Situation to get over it, but it's only a couple of doors down from a giant food lion supermarket. But he keeps going back to the booze hut there instead of going and trashing the supermarkets.

So he either has his priorities messed up or he's really learning how to make one heck of a martini. I seem to remember, though, that raccoons in the animal kingdom are actually very intelligent and they actually have problem-solving skills, which were on full display in this video as the raccoon, you know, got drunk. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he figured out bottles, he figured out flavors, and the Virginia ABC is now providing a raccoon-endorsed selection list of certain beverages, and our Hanover Animal Control folks are selling t-shirts and sweatshirts. And I think they've raised about $100,000 to help animals here in Hanover County.

So, you know, we'll toast this evening, lift a glass and toast the little trashed panda. I love this. It's a great story. And for you, it went viral. I mean, everybody's talking, and your telling of it, I think, is really what set the stage for all of this.

Well, that's very kind. I don't know. I was totally sober. I should tell you that. I may have known that ABC store, but I had not been to that ABC store in a while.

But it was the only thing that anybody locally could talk about. And you know how this is, Todd. You come across something and you think, man, this is so crazy, so bizarre. And we've got video and support. Ah, the heck with it.

We're going to run with it. And it does seem like everybody's enjoyed it. But you've buried the lead because Talkers Magazine, I don't know how they got this photograph.

Someone was peering through your window during one of the shows, and there you are interviewing the raccoon. And the raccoon has like cans on his ears.

Well, heck yeah. I mean, I want him to hear, you know, the background music and be able to hear the producer. You know, it's important to have the proper equipment, Todd. Was he sober for the interview? That's what I want to know.

Well, he began that way, but after a few minutes of talking to me, he wanted a drink or two. I was wondering what was in the coffee mugs. Oh my gosh. Jeff Katz hanging out with us, WRVA. By the way, you sent me some video.

We've got to talk about this. A couple of weeks ago, you said, you got to watch the podcast.

So I'm watching Jeff Katz in the wild, and you were like canoeing across some sort of like large body of water. What the heck was going on?

Well, there is in the middle of the James River an island. It's called Sharps Island. And in the late 1800s, early 1900s, there was a family that actually built a two-story stone home out there. And through the years, that house has fallen into disrepair. I think it's just now the foundation that's left.

The only way to get to the island, which is now owned by private people, including that guy, Andy Thompson, who was in the video, is to take a canoe.

Now, Todd, you know that I pride myself on being the greatest Indoorsman. Nothing bad has ever happened to anybody sitting on their couch. A bear has never chased them. They've never drowned in the water. You know, none of those things.

And I was convinced that I should go and visit Sharps Island. And this guy said to me, We will send a boat for you.

Now, I had visions of the Queen Elizabeth or the Queen Elizabeth II. It was a canoe. And well, Todd, here I am, 50 plus years old. It was the first time I was ever in a canoe. And if everything goes according to plan, that will be the last time that I'm ever in a canoe.

But yeah, we went over to Sharps Island and sat around a sort of like a fire pit and just talked about the issues of the day. It was actually a lot of fun. It was a great interview. It was outside, though. Outside, Todd, in the great outdoors.

Yikes. You know, Ben Dieter trying to get me to go. Camping once, and I said, Well, let me make a reservation at the Ritz-Carlton. And that's pretty much the extent of my camping adventures. You and I agree, Todd, that the great outdoors is something you pass through on the way from your cab to the hotel.

A thousand percent.

So when I bought K Ram, you know, our tower site is about 15 miles away from the station. Our station's in East Memphis, and the tower is right alongside the Mississippi River. And I own about 30 acres of land there.

So that's where the tower array is, three giant towers. And when I bought it, they said, well, you need to buy a boat and a baseball bat. And I said, what for? And they said, well, during the flood season, you know, the river rises, and honest to goodness, there'll be like 14, 15 feet of water, Jeff Katz. And you've got to get from the dry land to the tower, you know, the transmitter site.

Wow. And so I said, well, okay, that makes sense. I said, what's the baseball bat for? They said, water moccasins. Oh, my gosh.

So I made an investment, not in a boat, but an engineer and a snake bite kit. And I said, have fun out there. Yeah. Have fun. You take the meter readings.

I'm sure they're fine. But I thought about you. As soon as I saw you in that boat, I thought, Lord, that could have been me. That's right. That could have been me.

That's right. Well, I'm glad that you have not had to endure it, man. I mean, that's rough right there. Look, you're the boss. You own the place.

Yeah, you send the engineer out there. That's right. I mean, it's in the Bible somewhere. Hey, I want to switch gears for a second and talk about radio, but there's been a lot of chaos in the social media conservative influencer world. And I call these are like the mean girls and the jocks, right?

It's like middle school Caffey Gymnatorium all over again. Yep, yep. And somebody made, I'm not going to name the name because, first of all, I'm friends with a lot of these folks, but they made a comment about Mark Levin and talking about how Levin is just an old, washed-up radio guy. Nobody listens to radio anymore. And that really.

Set me off because I don't know about you, but I've seen audiences growing, and I think radio is more important now than any other time in recent memory. And I mean, you do this every single day. What say you? I completely agree with you, Todd. I understand that a lot of the folks in the social media space, and I know exactly who it is that you're talking about, they have some wonderful products.

I don't take anything away from them. I think that what they do can be quite valuable, quite important, quite meaningful, and I wish them all the best. But to dismiss radio, talk radio in particular, in this day and age, is folly. The reality is that folks like you on the national level, I'd like to think folks like me on a local level, are as close to people as you can possibly get. And no offense to those folks that we're talking about, but the reality is we in the radio world are a lot closer to real people than they are with their social media platforms.

I don't know why some people are just determined. To start these skirmishes, I think Mark Levin is brilliant. He is, I'm very, very proud of this. He and I are the only two conservative Republican Jewish guys to come out of Philadelphia.

So, you know, we got to stand up for each other. But he's a brilliant guy. And frankly, he has so much to bring to the table. And I think maybe some of these folks are a little jealous. By the way, no, I agree with you 1,000%.

Did you know that the local, you know, Memphis, we have a massive Jewish population, one of the largest outside of New York City? Yep. And so everywhere you go, shalom y'all, it's kind of like a thing here. And thanks to being, you know, being my time being spent in New York City, I have learned how to smear a bagel correctly.

So I am Kveling, Todd. Kveling, I say. Yeah, I'm not sure what that means, but I hope you print. Oh, thank you. I'm getting the vapors now.

Anyway, I am.

So, how do you think you got that pyramid in Memphis, sir?

Well, that's fair enough. I've been named an honorary member of the Republican Jewish Club in Memphis.

So I'm honored. I'm one of their favorite Gentiles. I love it. Oh, my God. You are not going to believe the spread they put on.

I'm just telling you from a couple of hundred miles away, I can tell you the food's going to be fantastic. I'm a big fan of the bread. Risk it. I'm going to tell you that right now. I can throw down.

But to your point, yeah, it's, I mean, I think we're closer to our audience, and I think that there's an opportunity for our listeners to call in and have conversations with us. You don't get that on the podcasting. And honestly, I know, believe it or not, I know some of these people and they simply refuse to take calls. There are a couple that actually have radio programs. And one of them actually told their producer, why would I want to talk to these people?

And I thought, wow, wow. Wow. That says it all. I love talking to those people because I don't know about you. I am those people.

And I'm just always grateful that those people want to spend a few moments with me. Those people pay my bills. God right, they do. By the way, I know you're a big wrestling guy. And of course, Memphis is like ground zero for professional wrestling, as we call it.

That's the correct pronunciation. Uh you know who used to work at KWAM, KWAM back in the day? If you tell me Jerry the King Lawler, I'm going to plot. I'm telling you, Jerry the King Lawler. Plots, here I am.

Wow. That's right. He got fired, but he actually warned you. He's coming to the studio a time or two. And I said, just so you know, I didn't own the station when you got canned.

There you go. Oh, gosh, what a great guy. Man, and another superstar on K-Wham. I love it. Great guy, great guy, and just loves Memphis and, you know, just an all-around good fella.

Absolutely. Katz, I know you got to get ready for your show, and we always appreciate you and the great work you do. Love hearing you fill in for the national guys. I know you filled in for Beck a time or two, and we just love the great work you do.

Well, you are a, you are awfully kind, and you are somebody whose friendship I have valued and cherished for decades at this point. And I appreciate everything you do for radio, for Newsmax, for just this whole media sector, man. You are head and shoulders the best of the best. The great Jeff Katz, everybody, WRVA, a great. Great American patriot.

Jeff, happy new year to you. Happy Do, Your Friend. All right, got to take a break. We'll be right back. No.

All right, let's get right to the phones here. Mike in Maine, listening to us on WLOB. Mike, happy new year to you. What's on your mind?

Happy New Year from WLOB in Maine. You know Two things. First off, I'm on the raccoon side.

Well said. And we got to get you and Jeff up here to Maine in the summer. we'll have a little spirit pyro it'll be good for both of you. And look. Radio's not going anywhere.

Okay.

So while you win fluencers out there, who are very good at drawing the crowd. And every other thing. I got news for you. Mark Mabin. Radio, Todd Stearns, I can go down to the list.

Conservative radio is not going anywhere. He includes Ray Richardson at WLOB Radio. By the way, who says happy New Year?

Well, we love we love you guys over in Portland, and Ray's just as good as they come. Just a great, great radio host in his own right. And I'm with you, Mike. Radio, we're not going anywhere.

Well, you know, we have a nation that saved. Does everybody realize that? That is why we are doing what we're doing. We have a nation to save.

Well said, Mike.

Well said. And I hate to do this, my friend, but we're going to have to leave it there. We are wrapping up the show. But God bless you. God bless all of our great friends over in the Portland area.

We love you guys over at WLOB, and we love all of you across this entire great nation. We're honored to be able to do what we do every single day-three hours of conservative talk radio. We share some great laughs, we talk about weird stuff. That's what we do on this program. And honestly, we want to say thank you to all of the great radio stations across this nation.

That carry this show. Thank you so much. We take that very, very seriously. All right, folks, get out there tonight. Have a great time.

Be safe as you're celebrating. And God bless you. Happy New Year, everybody.
