It's America's conservative blowtorch. Yeah. Right. Love this American. Yeah.

Todd start. And a very good afternoon to you, America. Welcome to the Todd Sterns radio program. I am your affable host. Todd Stearns, broadcasting Truth and Hope.

From border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain.

Well, it's going to be a very busy news day across America. President Trump is going to be addressing the nation from the diplomatic room of the White House later this evening, 9 o'clock Eastern time. And a lot of speculation over what exactly the president is going to tell the nation.

Well, we can tell you that information.

So you have tuned in to the right place. For news and information, we can tell you that the president is going to be talking about the past year. talking about the great accomplishments that have happened. in um in his office over the past ten months or so. And the President is also going to Reveal his plans over what he anticipates will happen in his administration over the next three years.

So that's what the president is going to be talking about. And it really is truly remarkable uh what this man has done. In office, and I find it remarkable that the other side can't find any issues with what the President has actually done. I mean, when you look at his policies, The way he's working with the economy right now, it's everything is going according to plan. As a matter of fact, when the one big beautiful bill, all of those components take effect after the first of the year, I think we are going to see a very robust Economy in the United States of America.

And I think it is going to be incredibly pleasing to many, many people. But the President is going to lay all of this out. And what I find interesting about this and this is what I find interesting, is that the media has to latch on to Trump's personality. That's really when you look at all the media coverage of the entire Presidency so far, it's been about his demeanor. How nice he is.

Whether or not he is, you know, could qualify to become, I don't know, a minister one day. Because they seem to believe that our elected leaders should behave like pastors. which is not what our founding fathers intended. I mean, yes, we want them to be good, decent men, honorable men, no doubt about that. But we need them to be leaders.

And I have no problem with a President who is a compassionate man, but that doesn't mean we should not lead, and it doesn't mean the President should not make the hard decisions. And this President has made a lot of hard decisions. Do you allow tens of millions of Americans to be killed by the p poison known as fentanyl? Or do you blow up the boats filled with the drug dealers as they're coming to American soil? For the president, that's not a very difficult decision to make.

It's a moral decision, and he made the right call, and he's made the right call many, many times over.

So anyway, I'm just curious. Here we are, ladies and gentlemen. We're about to celebrate Christmas. We're coming up on the conclusion of the year of our Lord, twenty twenty five. How do you think President Trump's done?

How would you grade the President? This year, first term of first term in office, first year of the second term in office. How do you grade this President? When you look at just the total, are you ready for this? We're talking about the total U.S.

and foreign investments made just this year after Donald Trump Took his hand off the Bible. It was unbelievable what was unleashed in this country, $9.6 trillion of new U.S. and foreign investments. And you want to know who's leading the charge there, I'll run down the list for you. United Arab Emirates, $1.4 trillion investment in the United States.

Qatar, one point two trillion. Japan, one trillion. When you look at the private sector investor meta, Six hundred billion dollars. Apple six hundred billion dollars. Saudi Arabia six hundred billion dollars.

The list goes on and on. It's just really phenomenal. what this President has been able to accomplish on the economic side. And this is why they're going after the president on what he says about Rob Reiner and all this other stuff. And look, w should he have not should he have kept quiet?

Yeah, absolutely. But you know what? That's not my call to make. Donald J. Trump's a grown man.

And keep in mind, Donald J. Trump has survived two assassination attempts, and primarily those attempts were the result of this insane rhetoric coming out of places like Hollywood.

So again, I mean, you talk about Rob Reiner, and I see all the conservatives piling on. That's just not who we are. We're supposed to love everyone. I see all these little young Republicans coming out and say you know what? You try saying that when and we're not going to play the Rob Reiner audio over and over and over and over and over again.

Maybe we ought to. Because this man spewed so much venom at Donald Trump. Keep in mind, Donald Trump is a transactional president. He's a transactional man. You keep coming after him, it's on like Donkey Kong.

And when you come after his family, You better get out of the way. I'm just telling you.

So they're using those kinds of things to pound Donald Trump. And then we you know again, it's There's nothing to that. There's nothing to it at all. I didn't elect a president to be nice. I elected a President to go to Washington and get the job done.

Crack a few heads together if need be. And I hope that's what you voted for.

So I'm curious to know how you grade. The president of these great United States, as we're wrapping up the first year in office, president's going to be talking about all of that. Tonight, the President says America is back. But the work goes on, and it certainly does go on.

So, our telephone number, by the way, write this down: 901-260-5926. Again, that's 901-2606-666. two six zero five nine two six We'll be taking your calls on this. But I look down through all of the amazing things this president has done, the executive orders. He has Enacted.

And it's truly a a beautiful, a beautiful thing. You know, I yesterday we played some audio from Speaker Mike Johnson. And it's really troubling to me when I... When I see what's happening in Congress, because I see what's happening at the White House, and it's just. It's off the charts insane.

It's it's a beautiful thing what what Donald Trump is doing at the White House level, but in Congress. I mean, the Republicans, it's the same old, same old. It's like the Republicans of old.

Some of them have certainly learned lessons from Donald J. Trump, and some of them aspire to be Donald Trump. But by and large, we're dealing with the same old establishment Republicans. Go along, get along. Go to the parties, hang out.

Drink booze. Cavort with the dancing girls. or boys in some circumstances. But all that to say, they haven't learned their lesson. I think overall, the Republicans in Congress have not learned their lesson.

And they actually would rather. And I think they place more value on getting along with Democrats than they do advancing President Trump's agenda. And I think that's unfortunate. That's a missed opportunity. But, Speaker Johnson came out yesterday with.

Great force and great gusto, Speaker Johnson stormed to the microphones and he announced.

Well Coming up next year will be We're going to get aggressive. We're gonna get rely aggressive. Woo Really aggressive. Oh, I've got to pace myself. I don't want to I'm about to get the vapours.

We're going to get really aggressive with the President's agenda, and we're going to make sure that sucker gets everything gets passed, but we're going to wait to do it to next year. And that's when we're going to get rid of Really aggressive. I gotta leave it there. I'm out of breath. Really, Mr.

Speaker? Really? What was that, sir? What was that all about? What have you been doing for the past ten months, Mr.

Speaker? President Trump's been working his butt off. This president works around the clock. One, two, three o'clock in the morning. He's putting out post.

Making decisions. Around the clock, even when he's on vacation, he's working. What are you doing, Mr. Speaker? What have you done?

And why are you waiting until 2026? That's what I want to know. Why are we waiting until 2026? What was wrong with 2025? Why weren't you out there?

And the reason why they weren't out there is because. They don't support President Trump's agenda, and they're going to do The least amount of work possible. I mean, they've got to do some work to make it appear that they're actually doing something, but they're not going to go above and beyond to accomplish the America First agenda. That's just not who they are. That's not who Mike Johnson is.

Mike Johnson And I keep hearing this every time. And I was about to say it myself. That's why I'm laughing here. I almost caught myself. I get it.

He's a good, decent Christian man. That's what everybody says.

Well, Todd, he's a good, decent Christian. I get that. But that's not my question. Can this man lead? That is the question.

I know a lot of good, decent Christian men who are terrible leaders. And at the end of the day, and I hear it all, I get actually get calls. I'll get a call after this show.

Now, Tod, you know we told you it's really not Speaker Johnson. It's a stab. His staff, they're the ones that are pulling all the strings. Let me stop you right there. That's even worse.

You're telling me some little twenty or thirty something year old is telling Speaker Mike Johnson, a grown man, the third in line the second in line to the Presidency, You're telling me that he's got some little intern telling him what he can and cannot say? That's uh that is beyond that is beyond me. And that makes it even worse. He's the man the buck stops with the Speaker of the House. And Jon Thune, completely worthless in the Senate right now.

Let me say something about the filibuster. You see, they're hiding. John Thune and the Senate Republicans are hiding behind their traditions. That's what they're doing. That's why they don't want to do away with the blue syllab.

That's why they don't want to do away with the filibuster. Let me tell you something. The Democrats, rather, the Democrats will do away with those things to accomplish their president's agenda. But ultimately, this is about Donald Trump. This is not about Senate tradition.

They're just hiding behind that. This is not about getting stymied and hunkered down because you've only got a two or three member majority in the House. No, they're using those as excuses not to advance Donald Trump's agenda. And I'm going to be shocked if they actually do anything in 2026. The only redeeming factor in all of this.

The only redeeming factor is that the Democrats have completely destroyed their party. It's over. Because, as liberal and as far left as the Democrat Party is, the rank and file, the average Joe, They're not to the point of being radical progressives on issues like socialism, communism. and pronoun usage. They're not there.

And that's who the Democratic Party is now. They've completely abandoned their base. It's over. So 2026 for the midterms ought to be a good year for the Republicans. But They're going to screw it up.

And we can't let them do that, which is why I'm using this great, big, huge, beautiful microphone. to blowtorch this message across the entire country. That the Republicans have to get their act together. And for Speaker Mike Johnson to come out and say, Well, we're really excited. I mean, I'm really excited about 2026 because I think we're going to be able to get that President's agenda through in 2026.

Yes, sir, I do. I sure do. That's not going to cut it. That's not going to cut it. We need somebody that's going to march right over to little dollar store Obama and shove the president's agenda down his throat and out the wazoo.

That's what we need up on Capitol Hill. That is the kind of Republican leadership we need, ladies and gentlemen. 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Starn Show.

Cold comes swiftly to Ukraine, and for elderly Jews like Olga, it can be deadly. Olga is 79 years old. She lives in a small village where there she has no indoor plumbing, bathroom, or reliable heating. Her meager pension is not enough to cover food, medicine, and heat. But thanks to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, Olga received a nourishing food box, emergency lighting, and a warm blanket.

This aid is a life-saving gift for someone like Olga. The visit from fellowship staff reminded her that she is not forgotten.

Now, as another brutal winter begins, thousands of elderly Jews like Olga are praying for a miracle, and you can be that miracle. Through a special matching grant, your gift today has twice the impact, up to the first $50,000.

You like Israel. And he loves Israel too. Oh. Make two seconds. Six years ago I was up here.

And I said, this is our first Jewish president. Yeah, yeah.

Now he's the first Jewish president to serve two years. Not consecutive. Presidencies. We thank you for everything. Bad things happened on the second one, namely, the election was rigged.

And we found out, and you see that happening. And you are the greatest president. Thank you very much. And God bless you. I miss you.

I miss you. All right, the great one there, Mark Levin. That was at the Hanukkah celebration at the White House last night. I want to say something about Markle event. On a different radio, with a different radio affiliate group, the whole nine yards.

But Mark Levin's always been very kind to me. Whenever I have a book out, Mark invites me on his programs, and he's a decent and honorable man. And it angers me that a lot of people, from Tucker Carlson on down, Are viciously attacking and smearing and slandering Mark Levin simply because he's a Jew. And because he supports the nation of Israel, I got a problem with that. And it also bothers me that you've got so many people out there in the conservative movement now who have turned their back on Israel.

We're not going to do that on this program. I don't, nobody pays me to say that. That's just been my opinion, and it's been my opinion for many, many, many years. I mean, Never have I not been a supporter of the nation of Israel. And I believe the Bible causes us to support the nation of Israel.

And I believe that God will bless us as a result of that. I truly do. but it was a beautiful thing to see of the President last night. affirming Jewish Americans. And Again, there is, I think there is a lot of this stuff with Tucker and all the others out there.

The and they're Jew haters. I think the issue here is that they want to divide the Republican Party. They don't want to see the Republican Party thrive, which is why you're seeing so many people being so divisive now. They're trying to tear apart the coalitions. that Trump brought together to get him elected in the first place.

That's what I think is going on here. And it's an ugly thing. And part of me wonders if Tucker had greater aspirations. Maybe he wanted to be Vice President of the United States. Maybe he wants to be president one of these days.

I do not know. But for Tucker to go out there and attack people for, you know, like Mark Levin, simply for Loving Israel and defending Israel. That angers me. And the excuse is always the same with the with this crowd.

Well, we're not saying that they're we're not saying they're un-American. We're just asking questions. That's all we're doing. We're just asking innocent questions. Can we not ask questions?

Well, you know, two can play at that game. They certainly can.

So, I want to say thank you to President Trump for standing up for the nation of Israel. Thank you for inviting Mark Levin up onto that stage. Mark Levin has done more for the conservative movement in this nation. Than most people have that I know. He's written terrific books about it.

He talks about constitutional issues. The man served Honorably in Republican administrations? think he's a good and decent human being. And it's awful what they're what they're saying about Levin and the others. Just awful.

And honestly, when you go on social media these days, it seems to me, I don't know if any of you folks are as active as I am, I'm on there a lot. And it just seems to me it's almost like junior high school cafeteria. That's what it feels like in the conservative world right now. Unbelievable. No, I'm at the nerd table, but that is the cool table of the conservative movement, Dylan, just so you're aware.

You guys know I love Christmas. It is my favorite time of year. Love the music, love the movies, love everything about Christmas. And it really saddens me when there are Groups out there like the Freedom from Religion Foundation and other groups. That are hating on the baby Jesus and hating on these little kids, you know, who are out there trying to celebrate the reason for the season.

This story: out of Fonda, New York. Parents there are furious after the annual elementary school Christmas concert was canceled. And by the way, they call it a holiday concert. I just can't bring myself to call it that. Again, what holiday are you celebrating?

And many people say that the reason why the school concert was canceled is because apparently a teacher was offended that one of the songs had the name of Jesus mentioned in it. The song was, oh, and by the way, the song list was pretty interesting. I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth. What's a hippopotamus song?

There's like a Christmas hippopotamus song. I can't remember the name of it. I want a hippopotamus for Christmas. That's it. Never understood that one.

Why? I like it. Won't they eat you? Are they carnivorous? You're like the most dangerous animal on the planet, but it's fine.

That and polar bears. Yep. Never could understand why Coca-Cola would feature a polar bear drinking a Coca-Cola.

Okay. It works. You know what? I have great fears with this, and again, with today's society, this is the society that thinks you can eat Tide Pods. And so, my concern would be that you're going to have a bunch of Gen Zers going on some sort of, I don't know, a trek to the North Pole.

Is that where the polar bears live? I'm going to get hate mail over this. But anyway, let's just assume it's for the sake of the conversation here. Let's say you've got an expedition of Gen Zers going to the North Pole. And they're tranking around, trudging around in the snow, petting the penguins.

And they're like, oh, look, there's a polar bear. Hey, Mr. Polar Bear, would you like a frosty Coca-Cola? And the next thing you know, the bear eats the Gen Zer and leaves the Coca-Cola. Or, I don't know, maybe the beer chugs it down.

You can get parched, I guess, eating a human. I'm just asking, what were we talking about? Oh, yeah, the Christmas concert.

So, anyway.

So the school district confirmed And we have the story up at ToddSterns.com. You got to go read this thing. It's a crazy story. The school district confirmed the song was removed from the concert under the guidance of their legal department.

So that means somebody complained. The school district, I can imagine it now, calling their attorneys. We've got somebody and they got triggered. By the hippopotamus? No By Santa Claus?

No. By Frosty? No. By Jesus, yes The baby Jesus So anyway, the attorneys They said, Yeah, you can't be singing about Jesus. Come on, what's wrong with you people?

You can't be singin' about Jesus. And so the school canceled the concert.

Now the school is saying I've got to read this quote to you from the school district because it's right up there with what's spewing out of Providence, Rhode Island Island. And we're going to get to that story in just a little while. While rumors have circulated the performance was canceled due to objections to one or more of the songs. It is important to note that cancellation is not related to song selection or or school safety. as some in the community have alleged.

And so they so they released that statement. All right, well, if it wasn't the um If it wasn't the song, wha what what was it? What what was it? Why why did you cancel it? The superintendent telling the Albany Times Union in New York.

truly a matter I cannot disclose. Unfortunately, it's a matter that cannot be discussed.

Well, what does that mean?

So anyway, parents I love the how this story ends. The parents were just enraged. One mom's telling uh writing on Facebook, So tired of this woke culture where one parent can call in and complain and ruin it for the entire district. Another said it is Christmas. Christ must.

If someone doesn't agree with that, they don't need to participate. and the parents don't need to attend. Instead of taking the high road, the school has ruined the countless hours of practice the other kids have put in. All the children were crying, by the way, weeping.

So this is interesting. It turns out That Parents decided to stage the concert anyway, and they held a protest rally called Operation Jolly. And the kids got a chance to sing all the songs they weren't allowed to sing in the canceled concert. I love that.

So, anyway, there you have it. Um One parent said, Look, this is not a religious statement. We're not making a political statement. This is literally about a child's first concert. It's a fair point.

But it's really sad there was no room for Jesus in the inn, or apparently. in the grade school Christmas pageant there in New York State. That's that's unfortunate. That's sad. And I hate that this kind of stuff is going on.

Fortunately, Donald Trump has put a stop to a lot of this anti-Christian nonsense out there. But I'm telling you right now, it's getting worse. And God forbid the Democrats ever take charge of Congress again, they ever get the White House. There's not going to be anybody to save us from this stuff. I'm just telling you.

Oh, where's let me share this story with you? It's somewhat related. Lebanon, Virginia. I know we have a lot of Virginia listeners. Atheist outrage there.

A painting on a wall inside Honecker Elementary School. There's a giant orange pull print. Along with the words Philippians 4.13. That's the Bible verse, by the way, for you atheists that says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. What's the King James Version say, Dylan?

There's got to be a verily, verily, in there somewhere. We're in the ballpark though.

So, the Freedom from Religion Foundation, this atheist hate group based in Wisconsin, and they get triggered by the name of Jesus. They say the message violates the law and noted that religion is a divisive force in public school. Is that true? Is religion really that divisive? I mean, you have that one religion that wants to blow all the rest of us to Kingdom Come and chop our heads off, but I think everybody else gets along pretty good, right?

I mean, you know, it's. You got some Baptists out there that get a little sideways on things like I'll know. dancing and playing cards. Is that still a thing in the Baptist church? I'm telling her, you're all right there.

I was never allowed to dance. Really? Well, whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on. I just want to test a theory here.

So, you were never allowed to dance. I mean, that's that's pretty strong. I I felt like I shouldn't Did you ever sire a child out of wedlock? No, I've not done that. There you go.

You know why? Because you weren't dancing. Yeah. That's a problem. No dirty dancing, young man.

Or you just go to a Baptist church that calls it choreography. Yeah. Hands in pockets. Feet side to side. That's it.

No jazz hands. No. No jazz hands, young man. Go date a girl. Yeah.

That's it. That's the nomination. Get him a John Wayne DVD. I'm just saying it. You got to cover all the bases these days.

So anyway, the um the atheist delivered. We've got to stop. I've got to stop getting off on tangents today. We're never going to get through the show.

So, the atheist demanded that the school district remove the Bible verse from the wall.

So, there's like an orange paw print, like go tiger.

So, it's like orange paw print, and then Philippians 4:13 and the Bible verse.

So they demanded that the Bible verse literally be removed from the wall.

So the school. Agreed to do that.

So they said, Please don't sue us. Please don't sue us. We don't want to be sued. And so they went over to, I don't know. Home Depot.

Lowe's, the paint store, and they got a can of paint and they painted out the Bible verse. And it's really a shame because there's nothing unconstitutional with having a Bible verse on the wall. There's nothing at all.

So the kids apparently have to check their Christian faith at the schoolhouse door there in Lebanon. Lebanon, Virginia. You know, I would have politely told the atheist to. Go to church. That's what I would have done.

But then again, that's why I'm not. in the academic world. 901-260-5926. A little bit of A little bit of War on Christmas action today, 901-260-592. 2-6.

Coming up, we're going to be talking to Jeffrey Lord. He's going to be dropping by to talk politics of the day. Also, Ryan Leonard, who is president of the College Republicans at New York University, is going to be joining us to talk about this situation in Providence, Rhode Island. I'm I just They're hiding something. And I think we all know what they're hiding.

Coming up at the next hour, we're going to be talking to Congressman Randy Fine. And he seems to think. There's a reason why they're hiding the information they're hiding.

So, if you watch the press conference, you can sort of tell. They know something, but they don't want to tell us what it is. Right, so you've got all these people up there, and the police are like the you've got the police chief. What is his name? Ferdinand or somebody.

He's from Colombia. An immigrant, guy can barely speak English, and he's up there telling people to, we need your help. And so, when the public said, this is what cracks me up, you've got the police department, and they're like, Oh, buenos días, we need your help, grinkos. And so, the gringos there in Rhode Island are more than happy to help out.

So, they're calling in tips and they're doing this and that, and they're giving them all this information. And then, in the same breath, they're attacking the citizens for sharing all this information. How dare you dock somebody named Mohammed Who do you people think you are, you xenophobes? You as llamophobes. You Islamahomavorbes.

Apparently that's a thing too now. Who knew?

So, people are really confused. You know, they're asking for information, and so when the public gives that information, they're immediately castigated. Kind of like what happens in New York City on the subway all the time.

So um We know for a fact That the gunman walked into the classroom, and it's very clear there are so many other places on campus that guy could have gone to shoot up. you know, large numbers of people. He chose that particular building That particular classroom, before he opened fire, he uttered a phrase. He uttered a phrase. They will not tell us what that phrase is.

He then shot the colours of the city. the Vice President of the College Republicans in the face.

Now, we understand that conservatives represent less than 1% of the student body. They're at. Brown University.

Somebody did the numbers. and said that's about ninety people on that campus who are actually conservative. Do we really think it's a coincidence? that the vice president of the College of Republicans was the one who was targeted in the attack. People are believing that this was a targeted attack.

But law enforcement, they're not going there. As a matter of fact, we can tell you yesterday afternoon, there was a website belonging to a Muslim student. A Muslim student who was behind the Free Palestine movement and a Muslim student who was also involved in the LGBT community. That individual's website page on the university's server has been removed. It's gone.

It's been taken out. And people screenshotted all of this before it happened. The individual in question does bear a striking resemblance. to the the video of that Large blob that's walking in the streets. That's pretty much all we can see, it's a blob.

Is that the person? I do not know. But it is very peculiar. And they were asked about this in the press conference yesterday, and they said, well, we don't know anything about it. They don't know anything about it.

All that to say, I think they know everything about this. And I think that they're afraid to announce to the nation that yet another Islamic radical Waged jihad on American soil, and targeted a young conservative leader. That's what I think they don't want to talk about. 901260-5926. What do you think it is?

Dylan YouGov, which is a big polling thing they poll all the time, and they've done a couple of Christmas polls that caught my attention. One of them, How Americans Rate Christmas movies. they've seen um and the percentage of each Adult who actually liked the movie, and they've come up with the top.

Oh, the top 52 list. I'm not going to go through them all. But I was interested to. Let's see here. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

All right, I'm going to do the top 10. And this is weird. I'm just going to tell you right now, and there have been a couple of these movies I have not seen.

Okay. Number ten: The Holdovers. Have not seen that one. Haven't seen that one. Number nine.

The Polar Express.

Okay. Is that the first? Was that the first Christmas movie that sort of tried the AI stuff? There was something really weird or creepy about that. Like Tom Hanks played every character.

Was that it? Yeah. And I didn't realize that until years later. Oh, that was, it was weird. It was weird.

Very odd. All right. That was number, let's see, 10-9. Number eight, Miracle on 34th Street. That's a good one.

Yeah, that's a good one. The Nightmare Before Christmas. Mm. That's up for debate. Why would that is that um who did that one?

Tim Burton. Yeah, I'm just like Halloween and Christmas. It's weird. Christmas vacation.

Okay. Okay, I get that one. Die hard, absolutely. I think it should have been ranked a little bit higher. Die Hard Love is just unmatched.

I love that movie. Uh white Christmas. That's a good movie. It's an old school movie. Yep.

But it's good. It's Christmas time, it's the best time to watch those old school movies. Is that in black and white? White Christmas. All right, somebody's going to have to call us on this.

For some reason, I think it was originally in black and white, and then they colorized it.

So I don't, I think that's what happened, but someone will call to correct us if we're wrong on that because people love that movie. A Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. You see, is that really a movie, though? Yeah, I didn't think it was a movie. I thought it was like an episode of a show.

Like, I thought it was like just a short. 20-minute thing. I think their polling data is flawed, is what I think. Because number two is a Charlie Brown Christmas, and that is a cartoon. It is not a movie.

Yeah, true, true. Yep. And the number one movie, Christmas movie, Home Alone.

Okay, that's fine. I get that. I guess. Yeah. The list is flawed for sure.

I mean, there's a lot of more there's more movies that I've put on there instead of Some of those, I think. Yeah, I just don't get this. There's something called Hot Frosty on here. Which sounds really, really inappropriate for children. Yeah, you you have to.

Yeah. Something called, let's see here, where's the other one? Shazam. Which I did not think was at Sam the superhero movie show? The superhero movie, yeah.

Okay. Did not realize at all that there was even Christmas theme at all in that movie. It's on the list.

Okay. So that's crazy. Meet Me in St. Louis, which is a great movie. Judy Garland, she was a star of that.

Which I stumbled onto that and I sat and watched it. And I'm like, man, this is a pretty good movie.

Sort of old school, but it's a good movie.

So there you go. But again, the top. The top five Home Alone, a Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, White Christmas, and Die Hard. I have not heard the uh the Tim Allen Santa Claus movies on any of these lists. And I thought he did a great Santa Claus.

I thought he did one too. I loved those movies growing up, so I don't know what's wrong. And The Grinch? The Grinch is not on there at all. In the top ten of them.

No, it's not in the top ten. I would put them in the top ten. Also something called Love Hard. Love Hard. Love.

It doesn't even have the words Christmas in it. Love hard, bad Santa, and hot frosty.

Sounds like something sounds like the Christmas show down at the pink pony if you ask me All right, gotta take a break here and go pray. 901-260-5926. Got a favorite Christmas movie. Give us a holler. We'll be right back, everybody.

Stick around. This is Matt Rogers from Los Culturistos with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. This is Bowen Yang from Los Culturistos with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang. Hey, Bowen, it's gift season. Ugh, stressing me out.

Why are the people I love so hard to shop for? Probably because they only make boring gift guides that are totally uninspired. Except for the guide we made. In partnership with Marshalls, where premium gifts meet incredible value, it's giving gifts! With categories like best gifts for the mom whose idea of a sensible walking shoe is a stiletto, or best gifts for me that were so thoughtful I really shouldn't have.

That's right! I love this American. Todd. Star. All right.

Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Great to have you with us. Before we get to what's happening in Providence. Want to go right to our phone lines.

We were having a spirited conversation about the most watched Christmas productions. We're going to call them productions. Not movies, because a couple of them on the list are not this is from YouGov. YouGov says. The highest rated Christmas movies of all time.

Home Alone, Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph, White Christmas, and Die Hard. That's the top five. But also way down on the list was White Christmas, and we had a question about whether or not White Christmas was in color or if it was in black and white. I want to go to Kansas. Keith is on the line.

A Keith, Merry Christmas to you.

Well, Merry Christmas to you, Todd. All right, so help us out here. For some reason, I seem to remember it was black and white, and then it was a colorized version. What say you? No, not at all.

I think you're confusing that with the Bells of Saint Mary, which was a black and white, also a Bing Crosby movie that featured white Christmas. But the songs like Christmas? But later colorized. Actually, White Christmas itself, the movie, was filmed in Technicolor. And it was the first movie to ever be filmed in a thing called VistaVision.

Which is the widescreen version that we enjoy now with most of the movies that we see. Is that right? I had no idea they so it really was a groundbreaking uh Christmas movie. Yes, it was. And I didn't know anything about it until I got married.

I hadn't ever heard of the movie or seen the movie until I got married. And the first Christmas, my wife installed that as a tradition. And we followed that for fifty-three years now. Wow, fifty-three years you've been married. Coming up 54.

Wow.

Well, congratulations, Keith. That's exciting. What part of Kansas are you calling from? Liberal right now. That's where I work.

Liberal Kansas. All right. A conservative and liberal. There's a good Christmas movie for you. There you go.

Well, Keith, I really appreciate the intel, and thank you for that little bit of Christmas knowledge. We did get a note from someone. Todd, can you call it that?

Well, that is the name of the movie, but I think I mean, politically correct, a Caucasian Christmas would be I I guess we should call it that, I? Yep. Saltine Cracker Christmas. Saltine Cracker. I'm just a regular cracker.

Yeah. Or a Niller wafer. Don't call me Niller, though. Just call me a wafer. All right, welcome to the Todd Stern Show.

Do you regret listening now, ladies and gentlemen? Do you regret your life choices today? I want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say hello to a good friend of our news mag show, Ryan Leonard, who is president of the NYU College Republicans, one of the coolest people walking the streets of New York City. Ryan, how's it going today? Incredible.

Thank you so much for having me. By the way, do you have any issues with this list from YouGov, the top Christmas movies of all time? Hmm. Do you have a favorite Christmas movie? My favorite has always been It's a Wonderful Life.

You see, that's a good answer. That is a great. And by the way, even if you don't have a favorite movie, that's a great go-to answer in an emergency. Yeah, true, true. All right, we got you down.

It is not in the top 10 list, and I do have a problem with that.

So, however, diehard is.

So, you know, I'm okay. I can go either way on that. I get that. Ryan, so look, you have been really covering a lot of the attacks on conservatives. I know you're out and about quite a bit in New York City, and you're not afraid to debate and have conversations.

Before we get into Providence, I'm just curious: what is it like As a young conservative, they're on the campus at NYU and in New York City. It's been absolutely insane. When Attacked, I've had my cameraman attacked, I've had people attack my equipment, camera recruitment. Tons of death threats, people coming up saying they're going to do all this. It's been pretty insane.

You know, when you look at the aftermath of Charlie's assassination, a lot of people thought, well, things are going to get a little bit better. I don't, at least from my vantage point, it seems like it's gotten worse. I mean, you're there sort of living this.

So, what do you say? Yes, totally. It feels worse than ever. And at the same time, they're like celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. All my.

Fellow students are posting, laughing about it. At the same time, they're telling us to lower the temperature. And it's like, you first, what's going on? It's a fair point. Do they really want to have a conversation?

Are they really looking for a debate? No, it really doesn't feel like it at all. I was um Watching the press conference in real time yesterday out of Providence, Rhode Island, there at Brown University. By the way, still, ladies and gentlemen, still no movement there. They don't have a suspect.

I don't think you're ever going to find the suspect in that. And honestly, Ryan, I suspect at the end of the day, they don't want us to know who did that. I think they know who did it and the reason why, and they don't want to release that information. There's no other way for their behavior. I mean, it's just a very odd thing to watch these press conferences.

Yeah, exactly. People ask information like what was yelled as he was shooting? You know, who is this guy? You know, can we release some information? They just Will not say anything, and it's like it seems like they're holding something back, and it seems like we know what they're holding back.

Do you guys have those conversations, I mean, about safety, any concerns about safety? Um Oh yes, totally. Really nowadays When we do stuff with NYU, even when I'm filming and stuff, I have to go around with security, which is crazy because I'm not like a politician. I'm not like a. public figure or anything, but I have to go, you know, take security with me, like wherever I go.

And why is that? Yeah, just with all the death threats and Death threats, constant altercations. It's like, I kind of just need to have people around me. You know, I'm curious about your journey to conservative ideology. Where did all of that start?

Have you always been conservative? Take us back to the early days. Hmm. Yeah, no, that's a great question actually. You might be surprised to know that My parents are don't really agree with me at all.

Uh, from a very liberal Suburb of Chicago.

So really all more of a self guided journey. you know feeling like Yeah. From middle school, from high school, everything. I was taught to be ashamed of my heritage and be ashamed of my people and my country. And Just reading more, thinking more, I was attracted to ideas that were more empowering that gave a more full sense of history.

And you know, gave me a future that I could be more excited about.

So, when you say ashamed of your people, ashamed of what, your religion, your skin color, what are we talking about here? Uh it's really everything, but especially the anti-whitism that has you know seeped into Schools. I mean, even just in our city. This is like a little news story. I don't know if you ever saw this, but like in the suburb, I went to high school.

One of the local churches, you know, during Lent put up a sign that said, Fasting from whiteness. And all this anti-white stuff, that's just kind of a silly example, but You know, in the school systems, just in casual conversation, especially the anti-white stuff, was. Particularly egregious.

So, you grew up in a liberal household, and you're reading, you're studying, and you're like, well, wait a second, there's nothing wrong with my skin color. And I've always believed, and I know you're into philosophy as well, Ryan, but I've always believed that ultimately this attack on white people is really an attack on God because they're. They're saying that God basically made a mistake by creating white people, and God doesn't make mistakes, at least my view of Holy Scripture. But that's always been my take: that ultimately this is an attack on the foundations of our faith. Hmm.

I mean, that totally makes sense to me. I mean, and I see direct attacks in the face too. All the time. Trying to take God out of You know Schools trying to take any kind of prayer. Anything related to God is just being stripped away.

And, you know, I think that's a perfect example.

So you also do a lot of this man on the street stuff, which is how we found out about well, we found out about you after you were attacked. And then we found out that you do these great man on the street polls. Take us through that because, man, you are, first of all, you're hilarious. And some of these ants I don't know how you keep a straight face when some of these people are talking to you. Yeah.

Yeah, it's Pretty pretty hard sometimes to restrain myself. But, you know, I'm actually like a rather agreeable person. I can talk to anyone. But I don't know. I've been doing this stuff for a long time.

First, I just did more kind of normal content talking about news and music and all these things and And I kind of realized I'm at the hub of like the craziest most hardcore people in the world.

So I can just Prompt them with a normal question and you know, insanity and zoo.

So it's it's kind of um I don't know. I've just found it. to be a fun way to Uh yeah. express myself. Also, it's kind of a fun way to Encourage people to be more open with their beliefs.

Like, I get people hitting me up all the time on campus and just in New York. who kind of feel like I'm representing what they want to say. but they can't stay because of school or their job or whatever. And I feel like I'm kind of empowering people to just not be ashamed of themselves and having normal beliefs. See, I love that.

And I think that is such a good thing. And I think it's a healthy thing as well. And you shouldn't I don't care who you are. You should not be afraid to express your beliefs and your viewpoints. And unfortunately, we live in a society where, by and large, the left wants to silence you if you disagree with them.

And we have got to come back. That pendulum has to swing back. We we just can't have a society where the other side wants to literally shut you up even if that means killing you. Yeah. Exactly.

Like That's actually the differentiation between the right and the left. Like We want to have conversations. We want to have debates. when we see some kind of mass violence, like we never justify it. Even like reasonable people Quote unquote reasonable people on the left, you know, they might say, Oh, Charlie Kirk didn't deserve to die.

But he said this and that, and you know, you kind of have to expect something. And it's just such an insane thing. Like People are like, oh, but the shooter had a point. You know, but Charlie said this. It's like, we would never see like a.

you know, church, black church being shot up or synagogue being shot up if they But they had a point, like, we denounce any kind of violence. we want open conversation, but they they just can't seem to do that. No, they can't. And I'm glad you're out there. And it's one thing to do that at, like, say, A Liberty University, right?

It's an entirely different thing to do that in New York City of all places. I am very impressed with the work you're doing out there. Thank you so much. Real quick, the Republican club there at NYU, I think a lot of people are surprised there actually is one. Tell us about your club and what you guys do and how it's been growing.

It's actually been incredible. We've been growing like crazy this semester. We actually get Like sometimes Five times larger attendance than Democrat Club at NYU. because there's so much intrigue, there's so much stuff going on right now. we bring like huge social media figures and you know, whole debates and events and It really has been incredible.

It's like my content, where there's a lot of people. who hit me up all the time saying, like, this is my voice. Like, This is the one place where I can be myself, where I feel like not ashamed of just. Being able to talk about what's important to me. It's really been incredible.

All right. Well, Ryan, we're going to get you back on soon. We really appreciate the great work you're doing there at NYU. And hang in there and keep fighting the good fight, my friends.

Sounds good, you too. I'm a big fan of you as well. All right, Ryan Leonard, everybody, over at NYU. And if you've he I believe the organization is called Street Polar, you've got to go check it out. And they just do man on the street stuff.

What an honor to have you with us today. And by the way, our telephone number: 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. So there's a weird story that's been sort of making the rounds on social media involving Jay Alexanders. And I don't know if you've seen this, it's a weird story.

I I think I've been to J. Alexander's a time or two. A fine enough establishment, uh good food, uh reasonable prices. But there is a video showing a customer clashing with A staff member at A.J. Alexander's over a three-dollar fee.

And I'll just share with you, I'll try to describe this the best I can. because the video clip has surpassed over two million views.

Now here's how it here's how it works. The video shows the customer confronting the staff inside the restaurant about this fee.

So the guy played his food order was $51. which appeared on the receipt. And then they said, well, there's also going to be a $3.06 charge to make this a to-go order. The assistant general manager asked the guy to leave and threatened to. Call the police.

and charge him with trespassing after he demanded to see the manager.

So, a lot of people are now chiming in and saying that they're really upset because they've seen this happening at other restaurants. And that they keep adding these restaurants keep adding on these charges. To their fee. And somebody pointed out: look, if this is about money, just increase the food prices by about 10%. Nobody would notice.

And there you go. But have you ever heard of a packaging fee At a restaurant.

So they're, you would just, let's just, let me just say this. If you're going to a KFC, for example, and you're ordering your fried chicken and you want it to go, you would expect that the bucket would come with the chicken, right?

So you wouldn't think that you would have to pay extra to get your chicken in a bucket. Do they still do the buckets? I'm old school. They used to do a KFC bucket. But anyway, regardless.

Wait, they're making you pay for that now at Jay Alexander's. Interesting. What say you, ladies and gentlemen? You see, I just don't eat out that much anymore. I prefer cooking at home, and it's actually a lot cheaper and healthier.

901-260-5926 or a telephone number. Jay Alexanders in Tampa under fire. We'll be right back. All right, don't forget the upside app, everybody. Be sure to download that and start making a lot of money on your purchases.

I am loving this thing. I'm even up Dylan's Christmas present this year. Hey, now. By the way, and by the way, be sure to use the promo code Wealth25. Wealth 25.

Dylan, we need to work on a memo about Helen, our new hire, who's replacing Cassie. She's doing the whole ugly sweater thing this year. Yes. And that's one thing, but now we can actually hear. Can we just hear her sweater for just a moment?

Can we hear the sweater? Oh, oh. Yeah, you can hear her coming a mile away. That's the sweater. That's the sweater.

I told her this morning she sounded like the Walking Salvation Army. Or a Mississippi State fan. Yeah, she would fit in just well. You know, that's true. We give her a bucket.

We might be able to pick up a few dollars. I love that.

All right. Well, well done. Welcome, Helen. We'll get Helen on. She didn't tell us this, by the way.

She didn't tell us we should have worn sweaters. I know. I thought something had walked into the building off the I don't know. It's a cow. A cow?

I don't. Helen's not. No, she's not a heifer. Yes. She's very lovely.

She's very lovely. Time now for the Todd Stern Show mailbag. It's the time of the year where we read some of our mail we get, and we always get a lot of mail, a lot of inquiries. This coming in from Blaine. Blaine from West Hollywood, California.

Oh my. Blaine says, Dear Todd, it looks like you've eaten two buckets of KFC. Go to the gym, you fan blank. Love the show. Oh my.

All right, this is Pat from Bismarck. That would be, is that South Dakota, North Dakota? Dear Todd, tell your makeup artist to forget about the bronzer. You need to wear a face mask. Oh, that's unkind.

America doesn't need to see you in HD. Pant that was Very rude, man. Very rude.

Well, we don't know if Pat's a dude or a or a a gal, so. Brianne, writing in on our Facebook page, Dear Todd, you are blanking stupid, a blanking retard. Trump butthole blanker. That's from Brian. She didn't mince words there, Dylan.

She just kind of got right to the point. Right to the point. We do like that. It's a pithy comment, but You know, keep it family friendly if you can. There you go, ladies and gentlemen.

That's your mail. Hey, there's not that many to stop.

Well, I've got another one that's pretty long, and I want to answer this question on air.

So let's go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line. Say hello to our friend Steve Gill. Steve, I don't get many kind letters or Christmas cards. It doesn't sound like it, but you must be on the good list because if you were really naughty, you wouldn't be getting those kinds of lists. But I'm just popping standard grades on the curve because I'm right on the cusp of coal versus goodies.

And Usually I fall just below the the water line, and it sounds like you do as well. Yeah, pretty much, pretty much. But we love hearing from our listeners. We really love hearing from our listeners, Steve Gill. Steve, a lot to chat about.

First, I just want to get your take on this Brown University story. If I have to sit through another press conference with these DEI hires, I'm going to lose my ever-loving mind. You know the This thing is a travesty on so many levels. First of all, the people that put in charge of that university have no business being near a grade school, much less a university that is supposedly in high regard. The investigation has been more, it appears, about a cover-up, and they continue to.

to cleanse the records of the alleged shooter to hide the the connection to the university, to hide the fact that they're covering it up, to hide the fact that he is a person of interest before the incident happened. And now it appears That it's a question mark of whether he was shouting Allah Akbar before he started targeting Ella, the The young Republican vice chair. Ella Cook. And you could understand where a crowd could, you know, is it was saying Ella or Allah? And I think again, The students who were in that classroom The fact that they are sitting silent and not telling people what happened to help the cover-up of the university.

tells me the entire university is sordid and sick. From top to bottom, including the students who are helping to cover up this murderous rampage that took place right in front of them. Yeah, I think the numbers I saw, over 90% of the student population identifies as far left or liberal. And I think overall, total numbers, maybe 90 kids on that campus would consider themselves to be conservative. I don't find it coincidental that the VP of the young Republican group there on campus was the one who was targeted.

What about you? And it increasingly sounds like, I think when we talked the other day, I was speculating that, you know, it's hard to say you come into a classroom full of students. You know, is it just a coincidence that that's the one? of two who got uh killed. it now seems more and more evident that he went to Mm.

For her, targeted her, but avoided shooting other people that he bypassed to get to her, including. Apparently, at least one minority student that he looked in the eye and didn't shoot. He was apparently looking for her. And the fact that he, it appears, had some relationship, you know, whether he was a TA or other relationship at the university, one of the other Hamas sympathizing professors has apparently disappeared. alleged shooter worked with.

It is assorted and thick. Display of what the Ivy League is, what Providence, what Rhode Island, and what Brown University is. And again, I think it's top to bottom, Todd. I think the students who are there who are not speaking up saying, yeah, I know who this guy is. Yeah, we knew who he was.

Yes, I was in the classroom. This is what happened. The fact that they are sitting silent while this guy is allowed to escape and while the university practices this cover-up tells me that every student, except for perhaps the 89 conservatives, are as disgusting as the shooter, in my view. You know, Steve, I want to switch gears here. Going back to an article that came out yesterday, a lot of news.

We talked about it on the show: this Vanity Fair piece, where Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff, sat down for multiple interviews with Vanity Fair. I think 11 interviews in all. And the story came out: White House clearly doing, I don't know if it's damage control. I read the entire piece, and I just don't understand why the White House is upset because I think her take on every Employee she mentioned was spot on. Maybe she shouldn't have, you know, said some things.

I don't know. But for Susie, the thing that gets me is Susie Wiles is a veteran politico. She knows how these things go. Why in the world would you agree to sit down to an interview with Vanity Fair and think you were going to get a fair and balanced article out of it? It's like the folks that sit down with Bernstein or Woodward, and then he writes a book and takes everything out of context and just.

Viewers, whoever he's writing about, and yet they sit down with him. Again, she's a seasoned pro. Why would you sit down with Vanity Fair? and expect that you're gonna get, quote, fair treatment from them. She's smarter than that.

She knows better than that. And again, I think she was trying to burnish her credentials apparently to the left wingers in the media to prepare for whatever comes next after the Trump administration. She was a lobbyist before. Her daughter's a top lobbyist. Maybe she was trying to expand her value post White House.

Uh and I I think she has hurt herself in that regard. I do think it was interesting that she called um what was it, uh Russ Vogt over at OMB, who is a devout born-again Christian, by the way, and called him a zealot. Um I I think that was look I know how that word is interpreted and how they use that word, and it's a weaponized word. But honestly, I mean, when you look at the definition, that's exactly who he is, and that's exactly who you would want, and the kind of person you would want in that position at OMB. The guy is a zealot for Trump's agenda.

I'm not sure that's what she meant by that, but again, it was just, I just don't understand. Why do you sit down with Vanity Fair? That's the bigger question for me. Great thing about this Trump team, his cabinet officials, his senior staffers. They are zealots.

They are trumpers. They are MAGA. focused on the President's agenda in his first four years Had all sorts of people who were, you know, like stray cats heading in whatever direction they wanted and not pursuing the president's agenda. I think this time he does have the right people in place. And it's one of the reasons that he's having success, except in the Congress, except in the House and the Senate, where the leadership there is failing to actually implement the Trump agenda, despite the fact that that's what they were put in place for.

That's why they were elected and why they are likely to be unelected in the midterms if they don't hop to it. I do think the weirdest thing in that article was her comparing Trump himself to some sort of an alcoholic. When this is a guy who doesn't drink, never has coke. His kids don't drink. And again, I think some of the things she said could not have been taken out of context.

beyond what she was saying. And I agree with you there. And her complaint was, well, they didn't write all the nice stuff. I said, No, why would you? Right?

Why would they? They're not obligated to do that. They wanted the dirt on what she really thought about people. And honestly, even with the Trump alcoholic thing, I get where she was coming. And she was explaining it in terms of thought process and how you work through your day.

But I don't know. It was just an - I don't even say it was an unforced error. This was. I mean, it was intentional, right? I mean, it had to have been.

I mean, it came complete with they had people posing for official photographs. The whole nine yards, never seen anything like this. Folks like Vanity Fair don't do fair. This was going to be a hit piece. from the beginning.

The only time these types of publications do Softies is when they're doing a a a profile of Of Michelle Obama when they're doing a profile of Dr. Biden, Jill Biden. They don't do this for conservatives or for Republicans.

So the fact that she is either so naive. Or intended To kind of create chaos within the administration, I'm not sure which is worse. Either she's stupid or she's naive.

So, years ago, Roger Ails told me something, and I've just, it's such great advice. You know, when I was at Fox, we never entered any of the contest. We were never allowed to go on any other network shows like Late Night with Kimmel or Conan O'Brien or any of those guys. We weren't allowed to do all that kind of stuff. And because Roger wanted this mindset in the building to be us versus them.

Like, we're not a part of the media. But now, there's always this urge or this need in media to be a part, right? You don't want to be the odd man out, which is why now, you know, so many of the conservative talkers are allowed on all these shows, doing all these magazines, because in their heart, They really want to be admired and acknowledged by The New York Times and The Washington Post and C-SPAN and The New Yorker and, well, even Vanity Fair in this case. You know, Todd, politicians and media personalities have this desire. to win the room.

And you'll see somebody like a Bill Clinton. You know, in a room of ninety nine people who love him, he's going to go work the one who who dislikes him, who hates him, thinking, Oh, I'm so charismatic. I win them over. Politicians and media types think, look, I'm going to win over the haters and go buttress your your alliance and your relationship Those who already are leaning towards you or on your team and leave the haters in the. In the sideline, if politicians and media types Don't get that.

You're not that characteristic. You're not that brilliant. They're not going to shift their view of their Trump derangement syndrome simply because you shared a cocktail with them over on the buffet table. And they're always going to make fun of you. Always.

I was at a, where was I at? I was at some sort of a party. I had just joined Fox, and someone invited me to some little cocktail party in New York City. And they said, oh, what do you do? And I said, oh, I work at Fox News Channel.

And they literally said, why would you work for them? I'm like, what the hell kind of question is that? What are you kidding? You just said to quote Terry McGuire, show me the money. That's right, baby.

I'm like, well, they give me a paycheck. By the way, when I ran for Congress years ago, I had, I think it was CNN following me around with the big boom microphone, the big fluffy mic hanging over your head. And they were following me around as I was campaigning in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

So I come walking up to this guy sitting on the bench and I say, hey, I'm Steve Gill. I'm running for Congress. He goes, I know who you are. You're as effing this. Finging that.

He starts discussing at me. He says, I wouldn't vote for you if you were the only guy running.

So I literally deadpanned to the camera and said, What put him down is undecided. The camera guy was laughing so hard. I thought the mic was going to hit the guy on the head. He was laughing so hard.

So you just got to play it for what it really is. That's it. You're right. All right. Well, we got to leave it there.

Steve Gill, publisher of TriStarDaily.com. That's TriStarDaily.com. Go check out. It's a terrific website. Great writing.

Yeah, you did.

So what was wrong with last year's show?

Well, you know, I wasn't in it as much.

Well, that's true. You sort of have a starring role. I'm a side piece. And Mary. I press the buttons.

I'm fine with that.

Okay, let's not use that phrase again. No, I'm not a side piece. I work here. Mary Walter is one of my co-hosts. And Aiden Pettit, who does trivia with us, he's featured prominently as well in the show.

Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. Right. My love is American.

Well Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. What an honor to have you with us. I am your host, Todd Stearns. Broadcasting border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain.

Well, we begin in Minnesota. Where Ilhan Obar is very upset. Over how President Trump and others are categorizing the Somali community. And Ilan Omar says the fact is that America is a better country because of the Somalians. Cut number 16, please.

No, we are doctors, we are teachers, we are entrepreneurs, and we are elected representatives of our state. And so these vile comments and this sort of creepy obsession that he has on me and Somali Americans really is dangerous, and it's beneath the office of the presidency. Yeah, but here's the problem with that. It turns out that the critics of the Somali community in America are absolutely correct. We were able to track down some numbers.

We did a little bit of research on this. First of all, the number of, we asked and we were researching the number of doctors and lawyers who happen to be Somalian, and the number is so infinitesimal, we can't even measure it. We can't even measure it.

However, what we can tell you is the number of Somali Americans who are living on some form of government assistance, and that number is greater than 90%, ladies and gentlemen. More than 90% of the Somalians who have come here as refugees are on a form of government assistance.

So, the criticism directed at the Somali community, and especially with this fraud thing, this fraud scandal is insane. Yesterday, word came out that the actual number The actual dollar amount of the fraud committed by Somali Americans, $8 billion with a B, $8 billion.

So again, on this program, you are free to to spew whatever nonsense you want to spew, but it's got to be based in fact. And the reality is Ilhan Omar's comments are not based in fact. She is, therefore, an ignorant woman. And I don't it pains me to say that.

Well okay, well, it really doesn't pain me to say it. But you know, it's you don't want to have to call somebody out like that, but I will if we have to. And the reality is, we got a big problem within the kinds of people that we're bringing into the country. Where We can only handle So many deadbeats in America because we've got to take care. Look, America's got her fair share of deadbeats, and we've got to take care of those people.

I'm just saying. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Now Yesterday Congressman Randy Fine joined me on my Newsmax TV show, and he made some headlines. Because he made the, and you're going to hear him talking about this.

So I want to set up the conversation you're about to hear. Congressman Fine said, We've got to deport everybody. We've got to deport all of the Muslims. And he called them mainstream or mainline Muslims. And he said the radical Muslims are the ones who don't want to blow us up.

But mainstream Muslim thinking is that Jews and Christians and you folks who are gay or lesbian. All of us are considered infidels.

So they want to kill all of us. And we've got some, you know, as a matter of fact, where is that? I'm telling you, I'm going to find this audio here. There's actually, there was a moment when a woman was. Oh, here we go.

This interview happened in Australia. After the massacre at Bondi Beach, where you had Muslims slaughtering Jews celebrating Hanukkah, this is a reporter who's talking to a member of the Muslim community. Cut number eight. What's the solution? You know, if Muslim people are in the wrong and they are committing crimes, you know, no one's above the law.

If the law of the land is Islamic, we respect the law of the land. What if it's not Islam? If it's not Islamic, then the law of the land and those who make it can go to hell quite honestly because Allah said the Quran, in chapter 33, verse 1, he said, O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Is David Kamr a Muslim or a disbeliever? Guys?

I can't speak on camera.

So you can't obey him.

So he can go to hell as well as all of the other leaders. Let me tell you something. Well, you're on your way to the hellfire because you're non-Muslim. All non-Muslims are destined for the hellfire. Yeah, no, that's what they believe.

That's what they believe. If you read their text, their religious text, you will discover they don't like us. And they never will. And so, therefore, In the eyes of the Muslim community, what happened on 9-11. Was not a bad thing because, again, they follow Islamic law.

That's what this guy is telling this reporter down there in Australia. They got a big problem on their hands down there, primarily because they only allow, apparently, the bad guys to carry guns. And everybody else, well, sorry, you're, you know, I hope you can run fast.

So, anyway, here's that conversation with Congressman Fine yesterday, last night on Newsmax. Let's take a listen. All right, joining me now is Congressman Randy Fine, a Republican from Florida. Congressman, good to have you with us. Look, I want to cut right to the chase here.

You've mentioned multiple times on social media that we've got to do something with the Islamists. What do we need to do here? What needs to happen?

Well, thank you for having me. I would challenge the premise of your question. It's not the Islamists, it's mainstream Muslims. The term Islamist or radical Islam is said to minimize it, to make it seem like there's some small fraction of these people believe these things. It is a very widespread view.

In fact, the radical Muslims are those who don't want to kill us.

So, what do we have to do about it?

Well, I think we have to say that we have had enough and we have to stop letting them in, which President Trump has expanded today. He has said no more so-called Palestinians coming into the country. We need to send all of them home that are here. And then, for people like Elon Omar, who engage in immigration fraud to become Americans, we need to prosecute, denaturalize, and deport. The future of Western civilization is at stake here.

And the question is: have we had enough? How many more people have to die? You know, it's a great question. And I got to tell you, we just saw the press conference from Providence, Rhode Island. I'm looking at people that are trying to hide something, Congressman, and I just find it very odd that on a campus where 90% of the student population are liberal, that the vice president for the college Republicans is one of the ones who is targeted.

What say you? Look, I want to be very measured because I will tell you this. If the rumors turn out to be true, All hell is going to break loose.

So, look, at this point, it could be a kid who got denied admission or a kid who was stressed out about his exams, or who knows? But if it turns out to be the worst, if what he was yelling is what many of us believe he probably was, then we are going to have to make a hard decision in this country, which is, are we all going to be willing to die to sacrifice ourselves on the altar of political correctness? How many times do Muslim terrorists have to kill us before we're willing to do something? You know, it's a great question, and it's one I think we should have addressed the day of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. But for some reason, elected leaders on both sides of the aisle, Congressman, they just have an aversion to addressing this clear and present danger to the homeland.

Well, I've thought about this a lot. Here's what it is: it is very painful to destroy your view that says we're one giant human family. We all want the same things, we can settle our differences. Through discussions. We all share the same values.

The problem is, there's a lot of people in this world who lionize a culture of death and destruction, who want to destroy those who are not like them. And some people are so unwilling to change their worldview, they're literally allowing themselves to be slaughtered. I'm not willing to do that. I'm going to speak the truth. And the fact of the matter is, we have a problem with mainstream Muslims in the world, in this country, and we have to do something about it.

I know Senator Tommy Tubberville has been making that argument in the Senate. What are your thoughts about the statements that the Congressman's been making from the Senate chamber?

Well, I agree. I'm saying much the same. We have a problem. Immigration without assimilation is invasion. And we have people who are coming to the country.

The mayor of Dearborn, Michigan told Christians they're no longer welcome here. We have schools that are being taught that this thing, that this stuff is okay, playing the call to prayer at five o'clock in the morning. These folks are coming here not to become Americans, but to destroy America. And we have to say enough. I mean, we had Jews burned alive in Colorado a few months ago.

Jews killed in Washington, Jews killed in Australia. And now we know about Muslim terror that was going to happen on New Year's Eve in Los Angeles and New Orleans. At what point do we say the religion of peace isn't very peaceful? And do we do something about it? I think that is where we are.

And I appreciate the senator for making the same statements. Yeah, and I appreciate the congressman for pointing all of this out. It just overwhelms me when I hear people say, all right. You know, how long is it going to take for people to wake up until we have an attack like they did in Australia?

Well, we've already had attacks like that. We've already been targeted. There was an incident called September 11th, 2001. Over three thousand of our fellow countrymen were slaughtered in the name of the religion of peace. And if that did not wake up everybody, I don't know what is or what will.

I mean, going all the way back to the bombings of the Marine Barracks in Beirut, going back to the bombing of the USS Coal, the first, what is it, the 93 bombing of the World Trade Center? I mean, how many more terrorist attacks? I mean, that's, we should have been asking those questions a long time ago. But it appears to me. That the powers that be, whoever those individuals are, and they're on both sides of the aisle, by the way.

They've made the determination that it is better to be an inclusive society and embrace all of these people who hate our guts and want to kill us, they want to kill our children, they want to slaughter all of us. It's better to bring all those people into the country so that people don't accuse us of being Islamophobic or xenophobic or one of the other phobics. And it's better for us to have major American cities blown to smithereens than it is to deport all of the Moslems. But I thought it was very telling here. That Congressman Fine who is Jewish understands A very central truth.

That it is the radical position in Islam is not to blow people up. That's the radical position, according to him.

So I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. I mean, this is a pretty bold statement coming from a sitting member of Congress. Congressman Chip Roy is out there as well, along with Senator Tommy Tubberville. And they're sounding the alarms. But they say They've all got to go.

The Muslims got to go back to where they came from. What say you? 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

And welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. Tis I, Todd Stearns, your favorite Nila wafer. Let's go to the phones 901-260-5926. Houston, Texas. Alice is listening to us on Patriot Talk 920, great radio station.

Alice, Merry Christmas to you. Merry Christmas, Todd, Darn. All right, what's going on? What can I do for you today? No, well, I was just wanting to voice my feelings about the Um Muslim thing that's going on.

I didn't mind it at first. you know, because everyone has uh freedom or of religion. But when they start to voice their Demands or a change of the taking over America. And the videos I've seen where imams are talking of talking to their people saying, you know, don't assimilate. And you know, just Go with the flow, but don't do this, don't do that, and we're going to take over.

And then with the moo this uh I don't know, I was looking at some video that we're was showing about prayer used. Uh dear infidel. And you know. with all this other stuff going on, with the shootings, with the uh Machete attack. Yeah, it's just so scary and I really do.

think that they should be removed from America. Alice, you know, I remember when I was in California, and you would have Muslims showing up. At these bodegas, these little convenience stores, and pretty much threatening these folks if you don't stop selling pork products, if you don't stop selling liquor. And by the way, this is happening in Houston. Where they were targeting these store owners and saying, we will boycott you, we will shut you down.

If you keep selling alcohol and pork, Because that violates their religious beliefs.

Well, you know what?

Sorry, folks. This is America. You have a right to sell that product, those products, in your grocery stores. Yes, and I I believe that. Oh, I believe that 100%.

And I'm just hoping our government can break down break this down and really remove these people because they are talking about taken over. And that's what the Quran talks about. It t it tells them to. conquer, you know, and it's a man's religion and it's Just also think that they belittle women. You know, and I'm really afraid that.

women now are suffering and uh under their control and they have to. follow directions. They have no freedom. Oh good. I've always asked somebody: give me the name of a country, just one country that is better off after they were taken over by Islamic rule.

Just one country. Oh my goodness. I can't think of any. Can't name one, can ya? You cannot name one.

No, no, because there's always been some kind of Uh awful report. Every time They've been trying to run their towns or cities or wherever other countries. It's always something awful. company and mainly to the women. Exactly.

And nobody wants to talk about that or to the gay community. And that to me is just horrifying, where you would have people being thrown off of buildings because you don't want to ascribe to the Islamic way of life. I mean, that's just. That's horrifying to think something like that could happen in America. I believe that.

It is horrible. All right. Alice, thank you. It was a great call. And thank you for listening to Patriot Talk 920.

Mike is listening to Patriot Talk 920 as well. Hey, Mike, what's on your mind?

Well, thank you for taking my call. I'll submit to you that there's no difference. You can't differentiate between Islam and radical Islam because there's no such thing. Islam by nature is radical. Mohammed invented it to motivate the Ishmaelites to make war with the Israelites.

long ago. It all goes back to Ishmael and Isaac. And it started in chapter 16, verse 12. And it's going to culminate in Revelation. Chapter 20, verse 4.

There's there's no appeasing these people. And I got a question for you, but I want to hear your comments. Real quick. Real quick. But my question is: you remember when Bill Clinton, the officer Arafat, get back Brabeen?

In ninety three, we're trying to hammer out a peace agreement. What's your question, Mike? The clock's ticking. My my qu my question well, it's not really so much a question. My question, if you remember that.

Rabin gave in to Arafat over a course of ten days, everything he wanted. And even though Arafat had everything he wanted, he still would not sign the agreement because it's not about that. they feel like they were cheated out of their birthright because Isaac Received the birthright, not Ishmael. And that's what they've been fighting about all this time. All right, Mike, got to leave it there because the computer is going to cut us off.

The fact is that Arafat wanted to destroy the Jews. I mean, that was the end game. And that's the end game now. That has not changed, ladies and gentlemen. It has not changed.

All right, hang tight. Got to take a quick break. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

It's a This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Welcome back. Merry Christmas to you, wherever you might be across this great nation.

Some new information coming to us from the Providence Police Department. Where they have now released photographs. We have these up on our Facebook page over at ToddSterns FNC, and they're looking for an individual. who appears to be wearing a hijab or some sort of a scarf. Over their head, and the individual looks to be of Middle Eastern descent.

That would be now identified as a second person of interest in the case in Providence, Rhode Island. Of course, two people killed, nine others injured, many of those seriously, in that terrorist attack at Brown University. Want to go to the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line and say hello to a good friend of this program? Jeffrey Lord. Jeff Man, good to have you with us.

Hope you're doing well. I am, and a Merry Christmas and a happy Hanukkah. And I'll go down the road a bit. Happy New Year, Valentine's Day, Dr. King's Day, and April Fool's, just to sort of be all-inclusive.

Did we forget Arbor Day?

Well, Christmas, you know, could be Arbor Day. I don't know. I don't know. You can't make it up. No, there's a lot going on.

Jeffrey and I, I look at this situation in Providence. These press conferences have been insane. And we've been airing them live on Newsmax, and I just want to interrupt regular programming and just scream at somebody. Yeah, yeah.

I mean, this is such a bad uh bad situation, although heaven only knows the poor people in Australia. we're able to top this. But it's uh It's just it's just not good. And finding out who who did this, uh I I think it'll it's obviously taking a little time, but I think eventually we'll get there. You know, Jeffrey, as we wait, and I'm sure there's going to be another press conference coming out of Providence.

It just seems to me this is a perfect DEI storm. You know, you've got the mayor who's a married gay dude. He's an activist with the Free Palestine Movement. The police chief, an immigrant from Colombia. You've got the president of the university.

She earned international acclaim for writing a book about diversity and inclusion and tolerance. And the reality is, at one press conference, you had the Providence mayor saying, Everybody is safe, you can go about your life. At the same time, the FBI was saying, This guy's armed and dangerous, beware. Yeah, yeah.

You know, it it just it's very frustrating, this whole DEI thing. And you know, yeah. Bear with me when I take you back a few hundred years, but I think that this began, this is an outgrowth of. Of the Democratic Party, which was formed by slave owners in the day. And then when that didn't take, there was this small skirmish known as the Civil War.

which uh ended it uh the move was on for segregation. And now it's what we call identity politics. And it's all essentially the same thing. Where they want people to be judged based on their skin color or, heaven forbid, how they think. and all of that kind of thing.

And it's just It's not good anywhere along the line, and then you get into situations exactly like this. Where uh You've got somebody lashing out for whatever reason. I'll be seriously interested to see what the rationale is when they catch whomever. Yeah, same here. And again, we're not going to speculate, but something is just really off about this whole story, and we'll eventually get to the bottom of it.

I want to switch gears. We've been following the. the situation with Rob Reiner, which is a horrifying story. I know that you were actually back in twenty seventeen, you were actually on Bill Maher's show with Rob Reiner. What was that what was that experience like?

Well he was He was a liberals liberal. What can I say? He was very much the liberal activist. We were on in twenty seventeen. He could not abide Donald Trump.

Um He was made no bones about not being conservative and all this kind of thing. All of that said. He was exceptionally nice, polite, engaging. uh willing to talk and trade ideas and all of that kind of thing. We talked, of course, on air with Bill.

And then we'd go into commercial breaks and we'd keep talking. And then when the show was over, we walked out together and talked and talked and Uh, he was just a thoroughly decent guy, and I have to say, I mean, I'm just. like everybody else, just absolutely stunned. at what's happened here, not to mention horrified Um I I just you know, and the fact that this turns out to be one of his kids A son. Wow.

That is just dumbfounding to me. You've got an interesting piece up over at American Spectator, Rob Reiner, a salute, a serious talent. And a nice guy. And again, I'm one of these people. I do pull politics out of relationships and friendships.

I'm just able to do that. There are many who cannot. And I think for me, the whole Trump The whole Trump era. Has really been troubling for me in that I've lost so many friends who could not do that, Jeffrey. And I just never could understand that on the left and the right.

Yes, I think that's right. And I have to say a hat tip to my late parents. We lived in Northampton, Massachusetts, where I was born and raised. My dad was held Calvin Coolidge's old seat on the Northampton City Council, and he was the Republican City Committee chair, and mom was the chair of the Hampshire County Republican Women. Their best friends Where our upstairs neighbors, we lived in a duplex.

And they were staunch Democrats. And I have to tell you, no two couples had more fun together. than those than those folks. And uh you know, their daughters babysat for me. And, you know, in the day, they they loved to get my mother going because she was a big Nixon fan.

And this is Massachusetts. This was a this was Massachusetts, of course. And they were big fans of then Senator John F. Kennedy and President Kennedy after that and all of this kind of thing. But they were, in retrospect, a really good role model.

because they they never got personal with all of this sort of stuff. And they they hung out together, they socialized together. They would have these great arguments, political arguments. And I can remember being in my little bedroom off the kitchen, and I listened to them go at it over. over Harry Truman and Richard Nixon.

Wow.

To show you how far back this goes. But they were they were, in retrospect, great role novels. For all of this. And I I I just think that that's the way You know, we should behave when you're in these political discussions. You have large, I have a large extended family filled with liberal Democrats, and I Either we have uh Polite discussions, or when we get together for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we just don't talk about it at all.

Well, you know, it was, I'll give you a great example. When I was at Fox, I ran into Donna Brazil one day, and I had wanted her on the show. We had a very pleasant conversation in the green room about, believe it or not, of all things, her cooking. She's a very well-known cook, and she's from New Orleans. And we were talking about gumbo and jambalaya.

And, you know, we were talking as two southerners would just have a casual conversation. And yet, she would not come on the show to talk. You know, again, I said, look, let's just have a conversation and see where it goes. You know, but she really wasn't able to do that. This is back in the early days at Fox when I think eventually she hopped on a couple of the shows.

But I got more blowback from conservatives over that. than from liberals. Whenever I tell that story, why would you want to talk to somebody like that? You've got to be able to have those conversations because those conversations can lead to something good. You can't just be at odds with people and not have conversations outside of the realm of politics.

Well, I know Donna, and she was in those days when I was doing Semaphox and other things, she was indeed a friend in colleague. And we spent a lot of time together and a lot of time talking. And our friendship resulted in her giving me a Carton of something of like New Orleans beer. Oh, yeah. I mean, there's what Dixie.

You can't get a better friend than that. No, no, you cannot. My grandpa, there was Jack's beer, which was a brewed there in right there at the edge of the French Quarter. And then Dixie beer, which was my grandfather, he swore by Dixie beer and he put a can of that in spaghetti. Chili pancakes, pancake patter.

He loved his Dixie beer, Jeff Lord.

Well, you know, having having grown up in the Northeast, we moved w when I was a teenager, we moved to Stanton, Virginia. And it was my first experience in the South, and it was, you know, an interesting thing because when. When they called the roll, my first day in school in my new high school. And they got to my name and I I raised my hand and I said uh Um Where are you from, Jeff? because my New England accent was pretty obvious.

This was in Kennedy days, as a matter of fact. And I said what sounded to them like I am from Massachusetts. And there was silence in the class. And then finally, I hear this voice from a Kid who is quite the southerner who says, See, y'all, I told you he was a damn Yankee. As well, that child should have.

Oh, my goodness. You know, I was reading your essay and I I love how you point out, you know, when you look at the movies that he produced, I mean, these are impactful. I don't care who you are, uh, what political side of the aisle you're on. I mean, it was just the depth he was comfortable doing, you know, adventure thrillers all the way down to, you know, family comedies like The Princess Bride. Yeah.

I mean, he was a very, very talented guy. And he had such success all the way around. I remember watching becoming quite the fan of All in the Family. Where he played Archie's son-in-law Michael Civic aka Meadhead. And he was just great with that.

But to say, you know, there's a lot of people who are actors out there in Hollywood. But they don't all go on to become great directors and film producers and all of that kind of thing, which she most indubitably did. That's why, among other things, I mean, what a great talent has been lost here. Who knew?

what he had on his plate and would be forthcoming here. That's a real tragedy. You know, it was interesting. All in the family, I was way too young to understand or even appreciate that. My parents wouldn't have allowed me to watch that.

But going back now and I'm watching all of the series, I mean, Carol O'Connor. What I thought was so brilliant about that character is Carol O'Connor was actually a liberal, Jeff, and he was hoping to use that character as a way to somehow connect so he could convince conservatives of the error of their ways. But I think it had the exact opposite impact. Yeah, I think so. And the thing he was not only a liberal, He was in real life, apparently.

I saw him being interviewed somewhere along the line a few times on television. Um he was very refined and very well spoken and all of this kind of thing. Nothing like the D's, Dems and Does of Archie Bunker. And it was it was it was just it was just great to watch and all that. And so to get to meet Rob, Uh was a real treat, I have to say.

All right, well, Jeffrey, we're going to have to leave it there. Folks, go check out his great essays over on the American Spectator. That's spectator.org, and you'll be able to read his salute to Rob Reiner. Jeffrey, always good hearing from you, my friend. Very simple.

All right, the great Jeffrey Lord, nine oh one two six zero five nine two six. Before we go to break, I do want to go to Nick in Salem, Oregon. He's been so kind to hold on, listening to us on KYKN. Nick, what is on your mind today? Um the Bible and the Koran.

I think we can agree that the Bible you and I would consider that the owner's manual for Christians, correct?

Well, yes, it is. Yes, go ahead. Absolutely.

So, we're going to dig into the Bible, we're going to learn. what price would have us to do. to best reflect him in our daily walk. Yeah. Think about that as far as the Quran is concerned.

They the the Islam Islamists Want to follow? Muhammad's word through the Quran. to be good Muslims.

So My comment is that in our country we offer the freedom of worship. But and when you talk about worship, that is to show honor and respect and love to your deity.

So they if they're going to love and respect Their leader, Muhammad. They're going to dig into the Quran and do what it says. Therefore, We have to understand as a nation, a nation of law, Yeah. and law and order. that their religion does not mesh with us at all.

So I think that our founding our leaders today need to take a look at the Constitution and the phraseology about freedom of religion. And put some kind of boundaries on that because they can say, hey, you have the freedom to worship as you wish, as long as. you know, you're not breaking our laws. And every nation can have the freedom to Set up their laws or their boundaries as they wish as far as freedom of worship. But I think most of civil society would say, you know, Islam doesn't fit here.

So you need to go back to your country. You want to be a good or bad Muslim. need to be There or I can't imagine why somebody wants continue to be a Muslim when they're their directives, their their doctrine is contrary to our way of life. And that's it in a nutshell. It is not compatible to Western civilization.

And the reason why is, and this is why, Nick, scholars don't want to go down this path, because ultimately they have to come to the conclusion that our nation was not only founded on Christian values and precepts, but it was meant to be a Christian nation. And under that umbrella, you're able to come here and practice your faith however you see fit without fear of persecution. The issue is, and this is something that I believe Senator Tuberville brought up in a conversation we had this week with him. His idea is that Islam is not so much a religion as it is a cult.

So it is not a real religion. This is going to be debated. I can tell you they're not going to be doing mass deportations of Muslims. But the issue is what happens if we start having more Muslim terrorist attacks on American soil on a weekly, daily basis? What happens then?

Well, and the thing is, for the Muslims, if they are able to do jihad, And they're going to have those 72 virgins waiting for them.

So, you know, it's all well and good for them to be martyred. While they're taking out some infidels.

So that's our dilemma. And I think government needs to figure out what to do to protect us because that's their job. Absolutely.

All right, Nick, it's a great point you bring up. Thank you for calling in and thank you for listening. Say hello to all of our great friends.
