Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clinging, deplorable America. That's why I love this American. Touch start. Instructing my administration to do everything in our power to implement most favored nation's drug prices. There we are, Donald Trump.
Let's go live to that. President Donald Trump speaking live right out of the gate today on the Todd Searns radio program. Don't bring that up. What's he saying right now? I just say, well, if you're not going to do it, we're going to charge you a like amount of tariffs.
And they immediately say, we'll do it. Which means that Americans should pay no more than the lowest price offered anywhere in the world.
So that you've heard for years the disparity where you'll pay $150 for a pill in New York and you'll pay $10 for a pill in London.
Now you're going to pay twenty dollars both. 'Cause the world is a little bit bigger than the US, so it goes up that way. But you'll pay $20 and $20. a tremendous advantage to I got the after years of being abused. by the world system.
Already Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and EMD, Serrano. have agreed to drastically lower their prices for American patients. And today, Eli Lilly, And Novo Nordisk. Adjourney the Phenomenal list of the most exciting announcements. I mean, nobody's ever had announcements like, and this has to do with other Pharmaceutical products also.
But we're covering this today because it's such a big seller, because it's the number one selling thing there is today. These are two companies that are behind the groundbreaking weight loss drugs that have helped millions of Americans struggling with obesity. live better, longer lives, everything else. These are the two companies that really broke ground. Until now, neither of these two popular drugs have been covered by Medicare for weight loss.
and they've only rarely been covered by Medicaid. They've often cost consumers more than A thousand dollars per month and Some a lot more than that. Americans have been spending as much as 520% more for zip-bound and 1,400% more. For Wegovi, then patients in Europe. Think of that.
1400% more than a patient year for the exact same Box. All right, Dylan, go ahead and pop that down for just a moment. We'll go back to that in just a moment. First and foremost, welcome into it. It's the Todd Starnes Radio Program.
Todd Starnes is out today taking a day off. Andy Hoosier sitting in and moving that Liberty University studios from Memphis, Tennessee, out to Wichita, Kansas, my flagship here at KQAM. It's great to sit in here again for Todd Starnes on the Todd Starnes Radio Program.
Some breaking news from the Trump administration. Another announcement of a partnership with AstraZeneca for his Trump RX, I'm assuming, the plan to try and lower pharmaceutical costs in this nation, which is an interesting move for the Trump administration and for someone like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. heading up the DHHS. And I want to get your thoughts on this.
We'll go back to that in just a moment. and see what President Trump has to say on this new plan. But First and foremost, great to have you for a Thursday, the pre-Friday celebration. If you want to jump on the program, you are more than happy to call in at 901-260-5926. 901-260-5926 on the Todd Starns Radio program.
Donald Trump speaking now on this Trump RX, a new partnership with AstraZeneca. Dylan, let's bring that back up for just a moment, shall we? $1,500 to $149 a month. We anticipate these new versions will be. coming out in a very short period of time.
All of these drugs will be available directly to the consumer at trumprx.gov. Trump, they want to use my name all there. Trump, it better be good. TrumpRx.gov, and I think it's turning out to be pretty amazing, right? Just as significantly, Medicare and Medicaid will finally cover the cost of these weight loss drugs for millions of patients suffering from obesity.
Co-pays for Medicare patients will be as low as Fifty dollars. This is tremendous savings. I mean now you're talking about from thirteen hundred and Fifty dollars to fifty dollars. This is tremendous news for the American seniors. And you all remember when I had one-eighth of 1% for the year, I got one-eighth, and I was so thrilled.
But now we're cutting it 1,000%, 1,200%. Nobody's ever seen anything like this. Nobody else could have done it, but I say that modestly. In addition, you think it was easy dealing with these people? It wasn't.
Do you think it was easy saying Your drug, Mr. Vidala, that we're selling for $1,300 is going to be sold for $250. You know the amazing thing, the stocks are holding up. I mean, these guys are. If it does it.
Because It's going to equalize the world. The world's a bigger place. And it's going to equalize. I was a little surprised to see that, but I'm happy about it. In addition, Eli Lilly and Novo Nordis.
Have agreed to provide all of their other medications to Medicaid at most favored nations' prices, most favored nations, meaning. That you will pay the lowest price anywhere in the world. That's what you're going to pay. Whereas before they paid low prices that we paid You know. thousands of percentile ahead.
All right, let's go ahead and pot that down, Joe. Let me go back to that in just a moment. I really want to get your thoughts on this issue: 901-260-5926. This Trump RX, this partnership that we had seen, he made this announcement on this program as a whole a couple weeks ago with the company of Pfizer. Again, lowering these prices for certain pharmaceuticals, now with AstraZeneca, and this expansion of Trump RX.
I got to admit, I'm torn. On this issue, I'm torn on what the Trump administration's doing with this because. On the positive side, I'm always the eternal optimist, and I know Todd is usually as well, that we try to look at the positive side of things. Look, this takes, and the perfect timing of this is beautiful as well with the ongoing government shutdown, the push for more subsidies into Obamacare, and the universal health care that Democrats are advocating for with this expansion of Obamacare. That this is the perfect time to say, hey, we're not going to be subsidizing Obamacare at the 90% levels that we were before.
It's time to start transitioning back to what we were prior to COVID-19. We don't need to do what we've been doing with government taking over all. of this healthcare industry.
So th that's what Democrats have been advocating for. Donald Trump's taking some of that leverage and power away by saying, Hey, you don't need as much of this because you can go to Trump RX and you're going to be able to get your pharmaceuticals at a much cheaper rate. That is very powerful, and that is a great way to counter what the Democrats are doing with this shutdown standoff that we continue to see in day number, whatever it is, day 40 or whatever the heck it is now. 37, or I don't really know, but it doesn't matter. On the flip side of that, I at least me personally.
I can't speak for Todd on this issue, but I'm one that really was hoping that when RFK Jr. got in to head up the health departments and the FDA and the NIH and the DHSS and all this. I was really hoping. for almost a destruction of big pharma. I don't want to work with big pharma.
And in fact, I don't want subsidies going into big pharma. The whole idea is to get rid of subsidies out of all of the healthcare industry as a whole: the healthcare industry, the pharmaceutical industry. I really want to see them not go into demise because obviously we need. A lot of the pharmaceutical medications that we have. In fact, the average American is on six different pharmaceutical pills.
I understand that. We need that. But we need to break it up, and we don't need government funding them. For them to make all their profits off of it, mandating that people get certain vaccines, mandating that this is the only type of pharmaceutical pill that we have. Thank God that Donald Trump in the first administration was able to pass the bill with the Right to Try Act.
That if there is a pharmaceutical that's not working right now, That we can try an experimental one that hasn't been approved by the FDA yet in a time of, you know, when you're on your deathbed and you need to try something different. Thank God for Donald Trump to try that. And it did break up some of the stronghold that pharmaceutical industries have on this issue.
So, your thoughts? This Trump RX is such an odd concept. And I'm hoping, here's my hope here. Is that this is only a temporary issue. While we continue to work our way in, whittle out of one of the biggest industries on the face of the earth, which is the big pharma, the big insurance, the big healthcare industry that is a crony capitalist system butting up with government to where they can't fail, they're too big to fail now, with the government subsidizing the majority of what they do.
That I'm hoping this is a temporary transitional phase while we continue to separate ourselves from the private sector and the public sector. Will that ever happen? I don't know. Maybe it's a pipe dream, but by golly, a guy can dream once in a while, can't he? And we'll see.
But the expansion of Trump RX with the announcement from the Trump administration right now: 901-260-5926. We got a lot to cover on the Todd Starns radio show today, and it's always an honor to be able to fill in for Todd on the show. Bottom of the hour, we have Congressman Ron Estes, my congressman from here in the 4th Congressional District. We are going to get an update from D.C. on the government shutdown, and I really want to pick his brain.
on the election from Tuesday. I know Todd talked about it yesterday. We still have a lot to cover from the election from Tuesday night as well. But real quickly, Dylan, one more time. I know RFK Jr.
is speaking right now. Let's get his thoughts on what the announcement is today. He's in this uh pharmaceutical. The job he's done with Eli Lilly is incredible. Both of these gentlemen are there.
They really are stars in the truest sense. And it's an honor to have you in the White House. Go to it, Bobby.
Okay. Thank you, Mr. President. I want to start by thanks to you, Mr. President.
We're declaring war on chronic disease in this country. This is something no American President has ever done. If we want to solve the chronic disease crisis, we have to. Tackle uh uh obesity. Obesity is the number one driver of chronic disease.
50% of our adult population are obese or overweight. And it drives about 50% of health care costs in this country. Diabetes, cardiac diseases, we are going to see a decline because of this historic agreement. We're going to see a decline in costs, but also more importantly, And the afflictions themselves. There are Uh This is a President Trump is the friend of the forgotten American.
Obesity is a disease of poverty. overwhelmingly. And this drug, these drugs, have only been available for people who have wealth. At one point, the majority of prescriptions, the highest concentration of prescriptions in this country, was the upper west side of Manhattan. And what about the people who live in rural areas, who live in food deserts?
What about the people in urban areas who live in food deserts and are suffering from obesity and are locked into that system where they can only get. ultra-processed foods which are aggravating the problem. This will be a lifesaver to them. It's not a panacea. It's not a silver bullet.
President Trump has also instructed us to Address and the root causes of chronic disease, and we're doing that. We're about to Release dietary guidelines that are going to change the food culture in this country. They're going to change the kind of food the military gets. They're going to change the kind of food that our children get. We're releasing those in December.
The Presidential Council for Physical Fitness. is going to get more Americans into particularly our children. into physical activity so that we can attack the root causes of this. But in the meantime, there is nothing more important than we can do than lower this price. As I said, it is the number one cost of all drugs.
This is the biggest drug in our country. That's why this is the most important of all the MFN. Announcements we've made, this is going to have the biggest impact on the American people. All Americans, even those who are not on Medicaid and Medicare, are going to be able to get the same price for their drugs. For their GLP drugs.
Interesting. All right, go ahead and pop that down. RFK Jr. And look, I mean, I know the obesity rate is a major issue for RFK Jr. We want to see those weights go down across the nation.
And it's more than just us saying, hey, let's get up, let's do some exercises, let's get back into physical fitness, which is a struggle for a lot of individuals, especially if there's some type of ailment there. But it's also the food, which he's been working on getting chemicals and preservatives and ridiculous preservatives out of foods. And now having these pharmaceutical options available for individuals at relatively decent rates. This is exciting. It's exciting to a degree that we have more options and we're dealing with the health pandemic in this nation.
And for an immediate fix, I think it can be very beneficial in the long term. I really hope that we can again start shifting ourselves away from partnering with government and with pharmaceutical industries altogether. Your thoughts on this? 901-260-5926. Big announcement from the Trump administration.
There is so much to cover today and so little time to do it. We'll do it all right here. Andy Hoosier sitting in for the Todd Starnes Radio Pro. Graham. We'll be back right after this.
I've got something very exciting for you. The perfect way to celebrate America's 250th birthday next July 4th. It's called Young Washington, a brand new film from Angel Studios and the Wonder Project.

Now, this is not a watered-down history lesson. Young Washington is bold, it's authentic, and it's rooted in truth, showing the values and moral backbone that we need to be reminded of today. Directed by John Irwin, starring Andy Serkis, Ben Kingsley, and Kelsey Grammer. This is a big, cinematic, high-quality film that you're going to be proud to watch with your entire family. So let's make Young Washington the number one movie in America this Independence Day. Go to angel.com/slash Todd and join today. Welcome back to it. It is the Todd Sears Radio Show, Indy Hoosier sitting in for a pre-Friday celebration. The announcement just at the top of this hour: the Trump administration announcing the expansion of Trump RX and the partnership with AstraZeneca for some weight loss pills.
Is it a good idea, a bad idea? The partnership with Big Pharma from the government side is definitely an interesting perspective as we try to work on this health pandemic in this nation. And I have to admit, I'm one personally that has been a major fan of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. In fact, when he got confirmed as the head of the health department, I was just as giddy and excited about that as I was with the winning of President Donald Trump in the White House.
That one, to me, was a major win because I was with the hopes that we were going to hit the reset button. We were going to completely demolish Big Pharma. We were going to not allow monopolies because that's essentially what we have right now, right? We have. After Zeneca We have Moderna.
Is that it? Moderna. And then we have Pfizer. We have a few of these major companies, and that's it. And we're like, hey, you have to get these certain shots and you have to take these particular pills.
And the average American on six pharmaceutical pills is very concerning to me, and we don't need that. But at the same time I guess I'm kind of a hippie, right, Dylan? I mean, I'm just a hippie that likes all my natural goodies. And I think there's a lot of people that are starting to move that way. And I don't see a problem with that whatsoever.
So we'll see what this plays out to. In the short term, it's a big win. We can start lowering prices, and it takes all the leverage away from Democrats right now who are so angry about the government shutdown and the hyping up of the subsidies for Obamacare, which Donald Trump did yesterday, actually speaking when he was giving his remarks after his one year of his election. He said that, well, it's time to just open things up again. But it's time for Chuck Schumer, the Radical Democrat Congress, to stop playing games with the people's lives and to pass a clean funding bill that they've done.
30 times before. And to reopen government immediately, just reopen it. Just reopen it. They don't like it to be reopened because we're setting records. Actually, I don't think anything is going to hurt.
We are so strong now. I'm not sure that anything is going to hurt, but it would be good to open it up, take care of the people with jobs that aren't going to get paid and aren't getting paid. Yeah, well, that's true.
So now this takes some of the leverage away from the health care issue. I'm pleasantly surprised because there is an opportunity that I think Republicans in the Trump administration have missed during this government shutdown. Missed opportunities. And we don't like missed opportunities in politics. There's always an opportunity for us to gain our ground.
He started doing cuts of employees and laid off your 4,000 workers for the month of October. Then the court said we weren't allowed to do that, which is very strange because the executive branch oversees the bureaucratic agencies.
So I don't know how he's not allowed to do that. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. But we need to do more of those and cut more from the federal government without Congress being able to stop them because they're shut down. They can't do anything about it.
So why not? If you're going to be called a king, go ahead and slash that administrative state and get rid of more of that power that the bureaucrats have in Washington, D.C. At the same time, if we're concerned about health care prices. Mm-hmm. Like Marjorie Taylor Greene went on the view this week on election day and was like, I really blame Mike Johnson and Speaker of the House for the shutdown.
What are we talking about here? That doesn't make any sense. And if you're worried about the price of healthcare and premiums tripling, maybe this would be the opportunity for us to reform Obamacare. Maybe this would be the opportunity for us to get government out. Of healthcare and focus more on the private sector, or focus more on the states.
And say, if you state, if you want a universal healthcare system, then you have the opportunity to do it with the SNAP benefits.
Now that we're only receiving roughly 50% of the SNAP benefits for those recipients that are across the nation of near 42 million, this would be an opportunity to say, hey, maybe we should look at who's actually receiving it. Are they meeting the proper requirements? Are there any non-citizens, either legal or illegal, that are actually receiving government benefits that should not be receiving benefits, which from what I've heard, would be almost half of them. Half of the 42 million. And if that's the case, Then we could fund the rest of the SNAP program for the people that actually need it without funding the ones that don't actually need it.
There's a lot of opportunity here that we haven't taken advantage of, and I think we need to do so. All right, we'll take a break when we come back. Congressman Ron Estes from the 4th District of Kansas. He'll be joining us right here on the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Stay here.

Hmm. Welcome back to it. It is the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Andy Hooser sitting in moving the Liberty University Studios from Memphis, Tennessee, out here to Wichita, Kansas, where I hail from. Always a great honor to sit in for the great Todd Starnes on the program, 901-260-5926.
If you want to jump on the program with us, but we have our guests here on the program, and I don't want to waste any time as we still continue on with Government Shutdown 2025.
Now, officially the longest government shutdown and no end in sight. In fact, Keem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer have officially sent a letter. Yesterday afternoon, to President Trump asking for a sit-down.
Now, again, I don't know what we're sitting down for. I don't know what we can do to negotiate. There is no negotiation for a continuing resolution to keep government funded just to keep the doors open so they can actually work on policy discussions. But That's not what the letter says. According to Politico, we write to demand a but to demand, they're demanding it to the president, a bipartisan meeting.
Legislative leaders to end the GLP shutdown of the federal government and decisively address the Republican health care crisis.
Okay. Where are we at with the government shutdown? What's it doing to the economy? Our ongoing budget conversations at the federal level and more. Really happy to have on the program.
He's no. No unknown person here on the program for Todd Starnes and my personal congressman from the 4th Congressional District here in the great seat of Kansas. Really happy to have on here Congressman Ron Estes. Congressman, how are you, my friend? I'm doing well.
Thanks, Andy. How are you? Oh, it's doing great and great to chat with you. Government shutdown number whatever day this is with the ongoing shutdown. Congressman, are we seeing any end in sight?
We see this letter where Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer are now demanding a bipartisan sit-down with the president and Republicans. Congressman, I don't know what we can negotiate here. There's nothing to negotiate. Yeah, it really is. That letter is kind of a lot a lot of hutzpah that they put into that.
Just from a standpoint of I mean, it's the Republicans that are voting to fund the government, and the Democrats are voting not to fund the government. To actually word the letter the way they did was really disingenuous and not truthful going through that. We're in the midst of this Democrat shutdown, and we sometimes call it Schumer Shutdown 2.0. And it's an impact on so many Americans. I mean, just this last Saturday, we had forty two million Americans that are cut off from bootsteps because of that.
And air traffic controllers and servicemen and women aren't getting paid. And so many government employees that are trying to do the services for the American people. And it's really sad that they're trying to play these games You know, it uh uh what they're trying to argue is two different discussions. One is they want to continue the insurance company bailouts from the COVID era. And the other is they're not fulfilling their role of being leaders for the United States government.
And we should open the government, make sure that we keep the country running. And obviously, we need to go address Obamacare. I mean, Obamacare has failed in so many areas in terms of cost of premiums and whether you can get to your doctor or not. But we should be taking care of the country first. Yeah.
Well, Congressman, wouldn't that be a conversation for Congress on the House and Senate floors to talk about a policy reform with Obamacare? Because you're right, we need to do something. And right now would be the prime opportunity for us to do so. That if we're not putting back in all these subsidies to Obamacare that we had during the COVID pandemic, we're putting work requirements in for people in order to qualify for the Medicaid expansion in certain states. This would be the prime opportunity for us to have these negotiations and policy discussions.
But that's not something to be done during a CR bill. It's something to be done once the government's open while you guys are on the House floor, isn't it? Yes, it really is. And to be able to talk through this conversation that they're talking about on the Obamacare subsidy, I mean, it's really a conversation you can't have because their demand is that illegal aliens get free health care. Their demand is that rural hospitals that fifty billion dollars be taken away from rural hospitals.
And you can't have that conversation in a letter that you write. You need to make sure that they're all the functions of the government are working so that we can actually move the country forward. Yeah, that's a really great point. We're talking with Congressman Ron Estes from the 4th District of Kansas, my Congressman, great personal friend and a great friend right here on the Todd Starnes radio program. Let's talk about your conversation.
You're on the ways and means. You discuss budgets all the time for the federal government. We're trying to get things back on track. We're trying to get at least somewhat of a balanced budget back on track. Obviously, the government shut down, making things very difficult and throwing things up in the air.
But where are we at, not only with this budgetary process, but then going into the next year? How is this disrupting your guys' progress to get anything done right now? It really is a big disruption. I mean, when we voted on the House, the House Republicans voted to fund the government over a month and a half ago. And the intention there of having this temporary continuing resolution, or CR, to fund the government at current levels was to get to November 21st and allow the appropriations folks to actually work on what the 2026 Spending should be and what programs we should spend on.
So basically, we've wasted five weeks now of not being able to focus on. what we should do for the future, what we should do for next year. And it's certainly a waste of time. And the sad part about it is this is the exact same funding that the Democrats have voted for thirteen times when President Biden was in office. And it's basically continuing on that same spending pattern.
And now they're playing political games and not voting to keep the government open. It's so weird. I just don't understand. What's the exit ramp for Democrats now? Obviously, there's been speculation it's a power play of Chuck Schumer to show that he still can flex his muscles in the Senate side and a potential challenge of AOC, which is our favorite person here, right?
I am told this is a garbage disposal. Yeah, apparently there's a power play between AOC and Chuck Schumer for the Senate seat in a couple of years, and that's speculation on why they're doing this. If they want to die on the hill for universal health care for illegal aliens and everybody else during the shutdown, they're not going to get it. But, Congressman, from your opinion, from what you're hearing up there, what's the exit ramp for them? How do they finally come back to the table and say, we're not going to get all of this?
But Donald Trump, if he is a tyrant and a king, we have to come back into session to try and stop Donald Trump from actually doing his agenda. How do they come back to the table after this? Yeah, you you you hit the nail on the head. Is it really is a political power play for their part and they're they're they're they're calling it their leverage uh because they're they're afraid in their primaries that they will be uh attacked and primaried by somebody that's even more liberal than they are. And uh they Because of that, they really don't have much of an exit ramp because those more extreme members of the Democrat Party aren't going to go anywhere.
And they've been told this Bill of Goods that you can shut the government down and create all these massive giveaway programs. And we just can't. I mean, we're two trillion dollars overspending as it is right now. They want to add another $1.5 trillion through that.
So there's a the Senate has to sit down and figure out how do we move forward, how do you end this filibuster? And the Democrats need to just take the responsibility, be the leaders for the United States of America. And let's get the government funding so we can focus on so many issues that we need to talk about in America. Yeah, well, or just be adults and just come to the table and actually realize you're not going to get everything you want and throw a tensure to a temper tantrum like little children. President Trump yesterday spoke on his one year of being elected or after his election a year ago and talked about the economy, said that we are now getting into the golden age as the economy begins to ramp up, and said this.
And I'm pleased to report that today the United States has the strongest economy, the strongest borders, the strongest military, the strongest friendships, and the strongest spirit of any nation anywhere. We have the greatest economy right now. A lot of people don't see that. But if you look at what's happening with all the factories, AI, auto plants all over the country being built. That if you would have thought about that two or three years ago, you would have said it was the opposite.
They're all leaving, now they're all coming in. They're all coming back and then some And I think that we can honestly say, and I think you're going to see it even more so over the next 12 months. That this is the golden age of America. This is the golden age. The golden age is officially here.
We're seeing more revenue come in from tariffs and trade agreements, which is what it was able to actually cover some of the spending and some of the costs during this government shutdown this past month. We're starting to see, I mean, oil prices are down at the lowest prices and gas prices down since we've seen since the last Trump administration right now. And we've just heard the announcement that, according to Donald Trump, at least himself, said that the prices of a Thanksgiving dinner down 25% compared to last year under the Biden administration. Congressman, is that true? Are we seeing the economy, even though it's difficult right now, especially with the government shutdown, are we at least beginning to see this economy get back to where it needs to be?
You know, we're seeing over and over again, we're seeing businesses that are looking for workers. because they've got business growing. We've seen announcements about new plants, new investments, new opportunities growing, and that's continuing to help. I mean, the more we have in terms of economic growth, we the tax law we passed in twenty seventeen on a temporary basis, we saw it jumpstart the economy.
Now that we passed the the big beautiful bill this year that to give so many tax cuts to working families and others, we're going to see the economy growing as well. And inflation is down from how bad it was with Biden. I mean, the problem is Once inflation starts, it never goes back to where it was to begin with.
So even though President Trump's been successful of knocking down the inflation that was rampant during the Biden administration, we're better off now than we were with President Biden in office. And we just need to continue moving forward and make sure that we have a healthy economy growing and be able to provide jobs for so many American workers and be able to care for their families. Yeah, it's a great point. I love seeing, and I think it was between the September and October months, we saw inflation at a 0.2% rate increase month over month compared to what we had seen under Joe Biden two years ago when it was a 7% rate of interest or inflation going from month over month.
So I think overall, between 7% and 0.2%, I will definitely take that compared to the two administrations. We got just a couple minutes left here, Congressman, and I appreciate your time, but I want to get your thoughts on the election from Tuesday night. The blue, they call it the blue wave. I mean, Democrats. That's definitely dominated on Tuesday this week.
But what does that mean moving forward? We now have a renowned socialist in New York running the place. We have an attorney general in Virginia that said he wants to put bullets in Republicans or something crazy. What does this mean for the state of the Democrat Party? And is this an issue for the midterms next year, do you think?
It really is sad that, I mean, the media plays this off as a big Democratic win. But hey, California, New York, New Jersey. I mean, those are Democratic states. Kamala Harris won those in the presidential election.
So the news would have been if the Democrats hadn't won that. And then you see such extreme people that the Democrats have brought to the forefront. You see Ma'am Damney in New York. And, you know, actually, as an avowed socialist, he's actually looking at how you make the government control and dictate to people's lives. And to have an attorney general in Virginia, the Democrat who, you know, thinks it's right to go out and kill people.
I mean, just from that standpoint. That's horrible in terms of uh h his statements that he's made. And it it's uh it's not the way that Americans want to see the country run, and we should expect better from leadership in our country. It's really sad, but that's where the state of the Democrat Party is, and I don't think it's going to bode well for them moving forward in the midterms because this year, with how much attention these elections got, they won't have, at least in my opinion, we'll see how it plays out, but they won't have the same momentum in a midterm when usually the minority party has a lot of power and enthusiasm going into that one. It is Congressman Ron Estes, 4th District of Kansas, my Congressman here in the great state of Kansas.
It's great to have you on the show, my friend. Thank you for coming on the Todd Starns Radio Show with us. Let's do it again real soon, my friend. All right, good deal. Thank you.
Always a pleasure. Congressman Ron Estes, the 4th District of the Great State of Kansas. Got to take a break. Your thoughts on some of this and so much more right here for the Todd Starns Radio Program. You know that big bargain detergent jug is 80% water, right?
It doesn't clean as well. 80% water? I thought I was getting a better deal because it's so big. If you want a better clean, Tide Pods are only 12% water. The rest is pure concentrated cleaning ingredients.
Oh, let me make an announcement. Attention shoppers, if you want a real deal, try Tide Pods. Stop paying for watered-down detergents. Pay for clean. If it's gotta be clean, it's gotta be Tide Pods.
Water content based on the leading bargain liquid detergent. Welcome back to the Todd Starns Radio Program, Andy Hoosier Sitting in today. Thanks again to our friend, Congressman Ron Estes, joining the program, giving us an update from Washington, D.C., and the ongoing government shut down. It's so wild, man. I don't know.
I don't know the exit ramp for Democrats. That is going to be interesting to see how they play that one out. Hey, I want to tell you about our friends over at Patriot Mobile. As you know, the First Amendment is under attack. It always is.

With the government shutdown, the on-ramp for them to get back on track. And will Donald Trump respond to the letter from Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer that say, hey, we demand a bipartisan meeting with the Trump administration in order to open up this government and discuss the Republican government shutdown and the Republican health care crisis, saying the Democrats stand ready to meet with you face to face anytime, any place was the letter that they sent. And I really hope that Donald Trump sends a response back. I mean, he's probably just going to ignore it because he's not too concerned about him. He's just like, hey, open up the government.
I don't know what to do here. He said that during a 60-minutes interview on Sunday as well. Just open up the government. I don't know what I need to be doing here. But if he does, he should maybe send a little snarky letter back and say, Dear crybaby, Jeffries and Schumer.
And say, hey. Open up the government. Period. End of story. Here's your letter.
Thanks for the response. We put it in our request bin in the corner of the office of the White House. It's a beautiful White House and it's a beautiful oval office and it's got this wonderful bin right in the corner of it. And I threw it in there just like a basketball player. You know, I got a lot of friends that are basketball players and they're really fantastic.
So I got a lot of training from them. It's a really beautiful thing and I shot it. It had this beautiful arc, a wonderful arc. It was crumpled up like a big ball and we put it in this request bin and that's where it's going to stay until you open up the government. You like that?
Dylan, do you think that was a good analogy? I could see Donald Trump doing that too. I think that was pretty well done. We'll see if that happens. By the way, I am reading the, according to President Trump, he did make a statement on the Truth Social of the prices for Thanksgiving.
And I'm asking you on whether this is true or not, whether you're seeing these same prices or not. But the prices, according to President Donald Trump, down 25% on Thanksgiving prices compared to the same period last year. In the statement, he says 2025 Thanksgiving dinner under Trump is 25% lower than 2024's Thanksgiving dinner under Biden, according to Walmart. My costs are lower than Democrats on everything, especially oil and gas.
So the Democrats' affordability issue is dead. Stop lying with three exclamation points.
Now There is the consumer sediment. And there is the actual prices. And actual prices are still slowly getting lower. But the consumer sentiment hasn't quite gone down yet and actually more favorable to the economy. But you have to ask the question: why?
The consumer sentiment is only the response of the consumer based on what they're hearing from the media to tell them whether it's a good economy or not a good economy. And while we're still in a transitional phase, I don't know. I've got to be honest. I don't know whether it's a better economy or not. I know gas prices are down.
I know that egg prices are down after we stopped killing like 100 million chickens across the nation under the Biden administration when you didn't need to do that. And now we're starting to get chicken prices and egg prices back on track there.
So the economy is slowly balancing itself out. But remember, we're still in that transition from public sector. to private sector. And that's going to take a while. And we're still within the first year of a Trump administration, but already.
Gas prices are down to a four-year low from when he was in last time. And if Thanksgiving prices are down 25%. Compared to under Joe Biden, that's a win. But people won't notice it until the media actually tells them to notice it. And then they'll be like, oh, it's actually working out pretty good.
It's a crazy world. Hour number two with the Todd Starns Radio program coming up. Stay here. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. Right.
I know. There's American. What is up, America? Welcome into it. It is the Todd Starns Radio Program.
Although Todd Starnes is not on the air today, he is taking a day off. Yours, truly, Andy Hoosier, sitting in, and what an honor it is to sit in for the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Any chance that we get, thank you, Todd. We love you to death and take some time away. I think he was trying to travel today, and thanks to the TSA and thanks to air travel and everything going on with the government shutdown, that wasn't turning out the way it was expected to be.
So, yeah, everybody's going through that. And I feel for you if you are trying to travel across this nation. But welcome into it, the Liberty University Studios moving from Tennessee out to Wichita, Kansas. My flagship, KQAM, our great affiliate here of the Todd Starnes Radio Program. And I want to hear from you today at 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926.
I have been waiting for a long time to play these clips because I am so excited. Dylan, you're going to have to jump on with me in a bit here. And I have to get your pick your brain on this one because I have been, it's like Christmas. For me, with this audio that I'm about to play for you, there is some breaking news going on today, and I cannot contain it any longer. It's like a kid waking up on Christmas morning when we heard the official news that was posted on social media from a certain individual's social media page.
That is why I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know. I will not be seeking re-election to the power. Oh, whoa, there it is. Nancy Pelosi, the one that's been the power behind the curtain for a long time, yet no longer seeking her congressional seat again. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm telling you.
Yeah.
This is probably the biggest news.
Now, we're coming off, you know, licking our wounds after Tuesday's elections. Although, again, it was almost expected. Those are very blue areas. New York, New Jersey. In Virginia, California.
We're expecting those types of elections. We're expecting that type of turnout. It's unfortunate where the state of the Democrat Party is, and we'll break some of that down throughout the program today on the Todd Starnes radio show.
So it's sad where the state of the Democrats are, but it was not unexpected. We almost anticipated what to happen. But I'm telling you, this is probably the best news that we could have after something like that. Where the future of the Democrat Party lies, that will be the next question. But Nancy Pelosi stepping away, pat yourself on the back.
You finally ran her out. We did it. We did it! We did it! Yay!
Now, maybe we didn't run her out. Maybe she just got old and just retired and didn't want to any longer. But her official, her full-on video, it's about a minute here of her announcement saying that she is no longer running for re-election for her house seat in the San Francisco, California area. I love the music behind it. It's very soothing of like, oh, we're so happy that we're finally leaving Washington, D.C.
But yeah, very enthusiastic apparently about what she's done over the decades. That is why I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know. I will not be seeking re-election to Congress. Um With a grateful heart, I look forward to my final year of service as your proud representative. As we go forward, my message to the city I love is this.
San Francisco. Know your power. We have made history. We have made progress. We have always led the way.
And now we must continue to do so. by remaining full participants in our democracy. and fighting for the American ideals we hold dear. In doing so, we ensure that our city shines on as a beacon of hope, justice, and peace. to the country.
and for generations to come. After all, San Francisco is the greatest city on Earth with the most extraordinary people on Earth. and a place that I will always believe is heaven on earth. Thank you, San Francisco. Thanks for trusting me to be your voice in Congress.
May God bless you. May God bless the United States of America. God bless the United States of America. She really does. Dylan, she sounds drunk in that, doesn't she?
A little bit, yeah. She sounds like she's had maybe a little bit too. God bless. I'm not running for office any longer. And now, this is a lady who's been in office for what, 30 years now?
That's been insane with how long she's actually been there. And the city of San Francisco has not really gotten any better. In fact, I don't know if you still have. Do you still have to have the app to avoid particular areas of San Francisco because of the. uh human waste that is all around the streets.
And you need to make sure that you're in happy areas of San Francisco. The same city, by the way, that passes ordinances that say if you barbecue in your backyard, you could have a smell violation, and they can literally come incite you for harming the environment for your neighbors. Yeah, that's kind of the place that Nancy Pelosi has been representing for a long time. But here's the bigger question. Is what Is going to be the future of the Democrat Party.
We're already starting to see the transition, right? The Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's. I am told this is a garbage disposal. Yeah, those individuals that are now hijacking the Democrat Party that really did start a civil war internally from the party, and the old guard has been desperately clinging for power for a very long time. The Nancy Pelosis, the Joe Bidens, the Chuck Schumer's, the Harry Reids, although he's not there any longer.
You know, those individuals that have been there forever, they've dominated. They have been the talking heads for the DNC where all the candidates, all the down ballot candidates across the nation, all the county Democrat parties across the nation, and the state parties across the nation, they all get their marching orders from those individuals. And Chuck Schumer's trying to hang on to that power. But Nancy Pelosi, she's like, deuces, I'm out, man. We're done.
I'm gone. I made all my millions and millions and millions of dollars. I'm gone. I'm gone. I'm done doing my thing.
I'm tired of trying to fight Donald Trump and his ridiculousness and his MAGA supporting Republicans. But now you have the AOCs and you have the Bernie Sanders and you have the Zoran Mamdanis that just won in the election in New York on Tuesday. This is right now the future of the party. Congratulations, Democrats. You are officially now a party that is now branded as a Democratic Socialist Communist Party.
You are no longer the Democrat Party of the United States, or they call themselves Democratic Party, but they're not Democratic. There's nothing Democratic about them whatsoever. They are the Democrat Party. Do not let them do a rebranding on you and do some type of Mandela effect and be like, we've always been the Democratic Party. No, you're not.
You're the Democrat Party. It's the way you've always been. There's nothing Democratic about you. Nonetheless, that's my little ranting for the moment, that the future of them is no longer Democrat-ism, but is now socialism in communism. And that's where we're at.
But this is my other favorite audio bit. I've been waiting to play on this show. Dylan, you have not heard this yet. After the election on Tuesday, Wednesday morning, Zoron Mom Donnie did come out with a video about, hey, thanking everyone for the election.
Now that I'm the mayor-elect for New York City, they're really excited about what they're doing. But there was a little bit of a switcheroo for those that voted for the socialism. I'm going to get a whole bunch of free goodies and it's going to start happening right now. Bit of a switcheroo with a video from Mr.
social media influencer himself, Mom Donnie, that made a video about New York and what the next steps are. Good morning, New York City. Thank you. Last night we made history, and today we begin the work of making a new administration. Welcome to the transition.
This is the period over the next few months where we build a city hall that delivers on the promises of our campaign to make New York City affordable and to make government accountable to the people it serves. As we prepare to govern, we'll start announcing the leaders who will help implement our agenda. People like deputy mayors who oversee entire areas of government and the commissioners who carry out the critical work of city agencies. These appointments will be driven by excellence, integrity, and a hunger to solve old problems with new solutions. Talking to organizers on the front lines of the fight to improve our city, government veterans with proven track records, policy experts from around the country and the world, and working people who know better than anyone what our neighborhoods deserve.
And this will be a period like the campaign we ran in the city hall to come, defined by transparency. Because New Yorkers deserve a government they can trust. On January 1st, I will be your mayor. New Year's Day and a new era for this city.
Okay, so there's that part. Nothing really crazy, right? Transition. We're going to apparently create this whole administrative state. We're going to work with, I don't know, the community organizers and the activists to try and be on the front lines, show this transparency.
But I'm telling you, here's where it's at, Dylan. This is where the crazy part happens. And it's really funny.
So everybody that voted for Momdani, you just got bamboozled, essentially. Oh, and. One more thing. Remember how I told you a few months ago to stop sending us money? You can start again.
This transition requires staff, research, and infrastructure that can meet this moment. And it will be made possible by the people who built and believe in this movement.
So, I hope we'll make a donation at transition2025.com.
Now, let's get to work. Transition2025.com.
Now, hey, thanks for donating to the campaign. We were able to bring out over a million individuals younger than the age of 30 for this whole socialism: free goodies, free grocery stores, free buses. By the way, You can go to transition2025.com and now you can fund and actually donate to hire a larger administrative state to take care of all the socialist policies that we want for you. Dylan, you can't make this stuff up. He's asking the people that he's like, you know, advocating for that don't have a lot of money for things to give him more money now.
Is that what's happening? For an administrative state. Again, it goes back to what he said he wants to do and who he wants to hire here. Where was that? Right here.
As we prepare to govern, we'll start announcing the leaders who will help implement our agenda. People like deputy mayors who oversee entire areas of government and the commissioners who carry out the critical work of city agencies. These appointments.
Okay, so I'm assuming then that those are not normal administrative seats and positions that are open that are already within the city government, right?
So now he's doing it a deputy mayor for New York City. Essentially, someone that's underneath him that's going to be doing the same job as him because just like any nice little, cute little socialist out there, you need a larger administrative state, a larger government in order to oversee and control the masses of the people because that's what socialism is. It's the control over the people. We're seeing it right now. The day after the election.
He's already announcing he's expanding the administrative state, which is going to cost more taxpayer money. And he's going to do it first before forcing taxpayers to pay for it. He's asking people to go to a website and donate to the government to hire more administrators because that's going to solve the issue. You can't make this stuff up, man. This is insane.
This is day number one of a socialist takeover of New York City. This is hilarious. This is transparent. He's transparent about it. We're going to hire more administrators, we're going to oversee the daily lives of everyone.
And we want you to pay for it for us to control more of your life by donating your hard money that you already. Say that it's way too expensive to live. It's way too expensive to be in New York City. You can't function there. You can't live there.
The groceries are too high. The rent's too high. The property taxes are too high. Whatever else. It's too expensive.
So donate more to the governmental entity of a transition team to hire more people in order to regulate your life through an idea of socialism. I'm socialists. Democrats, you got bamboozled, man. This is crazy. And the fact that they are so open about it, and he did it in a joking manner.
By the way, I know I told you to stop donating, but just kidding. Go ahead and do it again. Oh, and uh. One more thing. Remember how I told you a few months ago to stop sending us money?
You can start again. Dude, I... I don't even know how, even an irony or a story to make that relatable because it is so. Obscene.
So crazy. That they would openly advocate. And here's the crazy part: I bet the younger generation that loves this, they'll do it. The ones that were when he was campaigning at the clubs this weekend, right before the election, going to nightclubs and talking to people that they were like, oh, yeah, this sounds really great. They would do it.
They would donate and be like, hey, we need this big socialist policy. We need the transparency. We need this transition team to happen. They would donate a lot of their money. I guarantee you they'll do it.
Craziness. I want your thoughts on this. 901-260-5926. 901-260-5926. The transition has begun of socialism in the city of New York.
Where do we go from here? It is the Todd Starns radio program. Lowe's knows that saving is always top of mind, especially this season. That's why we've picked some great deals for early Black Friday. Get free select Dewalt, Cobalt, or Craftsman tools when you buy a select battery or combo kit.

You save. While supplies last, selection varies by location. Uh Welcome back to it. Todd Starns Radio Program. Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd Starns today, 901-260-5928.
I am, I'm still bamboozled and dumbfounded by what we're seeing right now with the Mom Donnie transition right now. It's absolutely wild, openly admitting: hey, send us more money. Send us more money. We need a big transition team for more administrators to take care of the socialist takeover that we're seeing in the city of New York. That to me is pretty wild.
Also, by the way, Dylan, I just don't think that we have any audio of it because it really wouldn't be good at audio anyways. But we cut out apparently of that Trump administration a little bit too early from the Trump RX announcement with the partnership with AstraZeneca that was done in the last hour. They were making an announcement of the prices of weight loss pharmaceuticals that are going to be going down, which is really good news. But apparently we cut out too quick. One of the executives of the pharmaceutical company passed out in the White House, in the Oval Office.
We missed the action there. We missed all the action. Man, so they were sitting there and it wasn't him that was talking. It was someone else talking. And they were at the podium speaking.
And all of a sudden, it looks like an older gentleman, one of the heads of these pharmaceutical companies, just ends up passing out. Yeah, he just stayed right there. Just going out, man. I'm telling you, maybe it was just too many of those COVID vaccines. Yeah, I don't know, but that doesn't look good if you're trying to represent a pharmaceutical company that is passing out right beside the White House.
And Trump stands up and just like he's just sitting watching him. Like, you all right there, buddy? And Dr. Roz runs over and they're all checking him. But, like, at least he didn't just bam hit the ground.
They saw him start to sway a little bit, and they ran over and they kind of held him as he slowly got inched down to the ground. But there you go, passing out thanks to the. pharmaceutical companies that are I don't know, doing what they do. I don't know, dehydration, or maybe if you lock your knees, you're going to pass out. I learned that the hard way when I was in high school.
I was in a competitive choir competition, and they always told you, don't lock your knees. And I didn't even notice I was doing it. I was nervous, and I ended up locking my knees. And I didn't pass out, but I felt my head, you know, where you get a little bit fuzzy. And it just starts going a little bit weird.
And I'm like, oh, shoot, what's going on? And I unbuckled my knees and I took some breaths and I was fine. But you almost do that, man. That's maybe that's what it is. Who knows?
I learned that in a marching band. Oh, marching band. They have big extracurriculars where they teach you these kinds of things that don't lock your knees.
So I don't know. Maybe that's what it is. I don't know. Marching band, you got a whole other thing because you're carrying an instrument then. True, yeah.
And when you stand still, you can't lock the knees. It was like the top thing they told us. Yeah, I t I'm trying to teach my daughter. She's 11 right now. I'm trying to teach her 'cause she's in ballet and she's in volleyball and she'll stand there and she'll lock her knees.
And I'm like, ugh, I get cringy because I have bad knees anyways. And I'm like, don't, don't lock your knees. And she's like, why, Dad? And don't do it. I'm telling you.
Going to have that. Yeah, trust me, yeah. And I hate that. I will be the first to admit. I hate when someone says, Because I told you so, or trust me, I'm one of those logical guys.
I need an explanation. If you tell me as a kid, my parents used to hate it when I did that, and this may be why we butted heads so much, because they would tell me, Hey, do this or don't do this, and I would ask why. And as long as I had a logical understanding of, okay, that makes sense.
Now I will or won't do it because you said so, but not just because, because I said so. I don't do that. I'm a rebellious person in nature, anyways. And if you're telling me just to do something or not to do something just because you told me to, then sorry, but guess what I'm going to be doing? And that's maybe the conservative mindset in us: we are rebellious.
Conservatives are the rebels. We are the ones that fight against the system, right? That's what we're trying to do with the Trump administration. We want to fight against the system, unlike the Zoran Mom Donnie thing, where you just give more money donatingly willingly to the administration for them to control more of you. If you ask me to do that, I'm going to say no.
You have to explain it, make a good argument. If my parents say, Hey, don't do drugs, well, why?
Well, because they're really bad and they could mess up your brain and you'll become a slug and you won't go to college. You know what? That makes logical sense. I'm not going to do it. But if you just say, Don't do drugs, why?
Because I told you to.
Well, Guess what? Not that I was a big drug user, anyways. I never did that. I never enjoyed any of that stuff. But there is a conversation to be had on the marijuana side of things, but that's another conversation for another time.
When we come back, we're going to move over to the state of California, who has a major drug problem, and a homeless problem, and a corruption problem, and a wildfire problem, and everything else under the sun. Their elections on Tuesday, they're Prop 50. with the redistricting. It passed overwhelming numbers. $93 million into that campaign to allow it to happen.
We're going to talk with someone that's out there and has to deal with that firsthand with Drew Allen, the host of the Drew Allen Show podcast. Back after this on the Todd Starns Radio program. Hey, welcome back to it. It is the Todd Starns Radio Program. Andy Hoocher sitting in for the great Todd Starns today on a pre-Friday celebration, still coming down after the elections from Tuesday, and already the transition of the liberal socialism taking hold.
Ha ha, not turning out too well with the announcement from Zoran. Mom Donnie, we will get to all that and more with our next guest here on the program momentarily. But I want to tell you about my friends over at AMAC here on the Todd Starns Radio Show. If you love this country and you're concerned about the direction that we're headed, it's time that we do something about it right now. And we've been working hard on that.
Todd's been working hard on that. And this organization has been as well with AMAC. And it's time for you to join AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens. They're the conservative alternative to AARP. And they're standing up for your values that build this nation: faith, family, freedom, and common sense.
AMAC members get some great benefits, including deep discounts on travel, the insurance, prescription drugs, exclusive member resources, and the subscription to the AMAC magazine, one of the best publications out there for patriotic Americans. The best part, you can join all of it for as little as $1.20 a month when you sign up for a five-year membership. Here's what you do. Go to AMAC.us slash starnes. That's A-M-A-C.us slash Starnes and join the fight to keep America strong with us here at the Todd Starnes Radio Program and AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens.
All right, I want to go to California for just a moment because the election not only was on the East Coast with Zohan and Momdani, with Virginia, with New Jersey, but also with the Prop 50 that was in California. Governor Gavin Newsom taking a jab at President Trump on Tuesday after the election, saying, Hey, we're coming for you. We're proud of the work that the people of the state of California did tonight to send a powerful message. to an historic president. Donald Trump.
is an historic president. He is the most historically unpopular President. in modern history. in every critical category. Donald Trump is underwater.
Now, is that true? No, it's not, but it's cute. That's the same guy, by the way, that said that the Joe Rogan podcast was like Facebook, where it's old and outdated, and nobody cares, still being the number one podcast on the entire face of the earth. Talk about some of that and more as we go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker hotlines. A good friend of mine, he's hosted the Drew Allen Show podcast, the man himself, Mr.
Drew Thomas. Allen, Drew, what's going on, my friend? How are you? Hey, brother, good to be with you. Just basking in the glory of Gavin Newsom's Emperor kit, you know.
Oh, man. I don't know how you're still doing it in California there, but that was a big one. Prop 50 not only won, it won by a pretty dramatic margin. I think like 63% ended up going for that one. Massive amounts of money that went into that campaign to make that happen.
But why? Why in the world would even deep red counties across the state. Go for Proposition 50 for a gerrymandering, for a redistricting, and essentially remove almost all of the representation that Republicans have in the state of California. Yeah, look, I mean, this is um The ultimate hypocrisy of the left, right? They just had a big, you know, the nationwide no kings protest.
And this is the closest thing you can have legislatively to establishing kind of your kingship in a state. And they always have some baked in excuse for this thing. Oh, this is a response to Texas. I mean, Texas did a normal thing. Every state gerrymanders after you have a census.
So it's supposed to happen every 10 years. And this is what you call kind of a mid-decade census. I mean, it's not technically the mid-decade yet in terms of when the last census took place, I guess, but that's what you would call this. And think about this. We already passed propositions in the past That established this independent commission because California was saying, you know, we don't like gerrymandering, we think it's wrong, so we're gonna establish this independent commission to show that we are above all of that.
And that's been how they've done it.
So the legislators don't actually do the gerrymandering here. And so Gavin Newsom came in with the other Democrats in Sacramento and they said, you know what? We're going to admit now that we want to be that very thing that we're condemning.
So they're acknowledging that they're going to do something that they have said is wrong. And not only that, I mean They still prop 50. I mean, they basically said it's temporary too. It's a one-time thing.
So they said, okay, we're going to take this to a ballot, and the Californians are going to be able to now give the legislator that we said shouldn't be able to do this. We're going to give them the power to redistrict to gerrymander right now ahead of the midterm elections. And that's exactly what they did. And it's not like the independent commission was very independent to begin with. 25% roughly California of Californians are Republican voters.
And we had 17% representation roughly in the U.S. House of Representatives, which obviously, you know, were not represented completely proportionally.
Well, now we're going to have 7% or 10% representation.
So what, I mean, this is really like it just spits in the face of the spirit of the law, right? The spirit of the Republic and quote-unquote democracy. And I mean, technically they can do this, but this would be like now every Republican state, every red state. Just going and putting a proposition on the ballot and saying, hey, we're going to eliminate all the Democrat seats. How do you like that?
You know, I mean, that's basically what they did. Yeah, it's insane. And again, most counties did that, including it was 57 out of 58 counties that voted yes for this issue, including some of the deep reg counties that you know that include Kern, Fresno, Riverside, all of them winning by 8 to 12 points in all these deep reg counties, which is absolutely insane. $92 million raised on this campaign, which coincidentally, the vast majority of that coming from the Soros Foundations, George Soros, and teachers' unions. Gee, I wonder why they're doing that, Drew.
Yes. And look, I mean, there is another takeaway from this that will relate to our conversation about Mondami and everything else in terms of these election results the other day. You know, that is that The Democrat Party has doubled down on a strategy of hatred. And so they ran against Trump. You know, everything is about getting Trump, and this mobilizes their base.
And you know, this has been a decade now of just anti-Trump rhetoric. Uh Trump hatred, Trump lies. And that's what they're running on. And it's really crazy. I mean, that's what happened in New York City, too.
I mean, it was just basically like: if you hate Trump, show up and vote for this, even if it has nothing to do with Trump. Yeah, it's really unfortunate. We'll talk with Drew Allen, Drew Thomas Allen, the author of his book, his Drew Allen Show podcast. If you want to check that out, also his book, America's Last Stand, Will You Vote to Save or Destroy America in 2024? Let's move to Mom Donnie for just a moment.
And the Democrats sweep in the other portions of the nation. Is this a signal of the midterm elections in 2026? Is this their last two-raw showing? exactly how radical the Democrat Party has become, but what do you what do you make of this election from Tuesday?
Well, we can tie this into what happened in California because The Democrats are trying to say, and Newsom has said, these results are an indication that the Democrat Party is offended. They're not. They still have one foot in the grave as a political party in America. And if it was true that Trump was so awful and that they were going to come back and win the midterms over, you know, people being disillusioned or disappointed in Trump, you know, California wouldn't have felt the need to add five additional Democrat seats and take away five Republican seats in the House. They wouldn't have to do that.
So I mean, it it is scary and it's not scary, I've tried to explain to people. It's scary because the enemy, the Democrat Party of this nation, has doubled down and been completely consumed. They are a radical left party. There's a socialist party now. They shouldn't be called the Democrat Party anymore.
They should be called the Democrat Socialist Party of America. That's what they are.
So that's the scary thing, because we're up against people who really are communists. and they hate this country and they're going to try and destroy it. But these victories took place in places where Democrats are going to win.
So, it's not an indication that they're going to win the midterms. I mean, it's just signifies that if you're a Democrat running in a Democrat state, or you're likely to win anyway, you can run as a communist and win.
So that's all this says. I mean, a Democrat was going to win New York City. And it happened to be Mom Domi, who, of course, had Soros money as well. And, you know, his son, Alex Soros, is out there celebrating how they're saving America here. And of course, he's going to destroy New York City.
But so that's the scary thing. Have you heard, by the way, Drew? Have you heard the video that Mom Donnie made after the election on Wednesday on the transition and what they're doing now? Have you seen this video? I don't know.
Okay, all right. Hold on. We have the audio. It's the switcheroo. This is now Mom Donnie, and I'm not going to play the whole thing.
It's like a minute and a half long, but they are talking about: hey, great, we're in the transition now for the city. We're looking forward to transparency. And then he says this: And a new era for this city. Oh, and. One more thing.
Remember how I told you a few months ago to stop sending us money? You can start again. This transition requires staff, research, and an infrastructure that can meet this moment. and it will be made possible by the people who built and believe in this movement.
So, I hope we'll make a donation at transition2025.com.
Now, let's get to it.
So, hey, I know you just got a socialist in there. We have a new team coming in. We have to increase our bureaucrats. He talks about having some type of deputy mayor seat and a whole bunch of new positions to try and work with the people on the streets and bring this transparency.
So, donate to transitionwebsite.com or whatever it is and donate to us while we increase our administrative state in order to be socialist the way that you want us to be. I mean, come on, Drew. This is a whole new level, man. There is no bigger sucker in America than the Democrat, the voter. I mean, the Democrat Party is funded by billionaires.
It is the billionaire class. Mom Dami is not a man of the people. He's a son of two wealthy individuals, you know, who immigrated from Uganda. You know, a famous filmmaker, mother, and a father who was a professor at Columbia University. He went to an elementary, middle school that was $60,000 a year.
That's what it costs currently. This guy goes around in chauffeured cars his whole life. You know, the champagne caviar class of socialists. And then he turns around and the very people that he's promising free stuff, he's now saying, I need money from you. It's just unbelievable that the Democrat doesn't have any kind of self respect to push back on this and say this is outrageous.
Not only that, but let's go to for just a moment, the attorney general's race in Virginia. I get all of them are blue districts, like you said. It wasn't really unsurprising of what we had seen with the election results on Tuesday, but one of them that did shock me, and at least to the degree that he won, was Jay Jones in that Attorney General's race in Virginia that had the leaked text messages that said he wanted to cause harm to Republicans and Republican children because of how violent this individual is. I get the Democrat Party is a party of hate, of intolerance, of violence. I get that now.
But after those text messages leaked and he tried to somewhat kind of apologize and say, I'm going to represent everybody as the Attorney General in Virginia, he still wins massively by Democrats turning out and voting for this individual, even with the women demographic who are supposed to be the mama bears protecting their kids. Drew, I don't get that. When that was the anomaly to me this last Tuesday.
Well, I just think that's where we are in terms of the radical mentality of the Democrat base now. I mean, we saw them celebrating Charlie Kirk's death. And so these people clearly, there's nothing a Democrat can do that will disqualify them in the minds of Democrat voters from holding office. I mean, yes, to your point, this guy had text messages that were shown and leaked That showed him fantasizing. He was fantasizing about murdering Republicans.
A wife, mother, their children putting bullets in them and then being on their grave. That's what these text messages said. And after the Charlie Kirk stuff that happened and the violence that we've seen that is undeniable now, I mean, the left in this country is a radical terrorist organization, effectively. I stand by that wholeheartedly, 100%, can back it up with a thousand examples. And everyone knows that in their bones.
And this guy is an example of the worst manifestation of that in the party. And they know this about the guy, and then he beats. And it's, yeah, he won overwhelmingly, and he beat the incumbent. Miare was the incumbent. And so Virginia is a place that and look, I tried to ask that buddy of mine who lives in Virginia.
I mean, how is this happening in Virginia? I mean, we were all red, and now we're basically all blue again. And he said, well, you know, look, everyone who lives here, half the half the state works for the federal government. Yeah.
Yeah, it's a really great point. Last question for you, Drew. It's Drew Thomas Allen, author of the book America's Last Stand and his Drew Allen Show podcast, which you can find on your podcasting sites. Let's go back to Gavin Newsom for just a moment and let's look at not just the midterm elections in 2026, but the presidential races, the 2028, the future leader of the Democrat Party as we continue to watch that reality TV show play out before our eyes with so many other Democrats that are looking to try and stand up and be that leader right now with the win of Prop 50, with the gerrymandering that he's doing, and with him so angry at the Trump administration and the trolling that they've done to him that he's very bitter about because he's so egotistical and can't take a joke in any fashion at all. Does this give him a step up in this race for the presidential bid and potentially winning that nomination for the presidency?
I think he's got a great shot of winning the nomination. I don't think that he can succeed in a national election, though. I mean, this is somebody who doesn't go into hostile spaces. He doesn't take questions. He doesn't ever debate anybody.
I mean, we have one example of him debating Ron DeSantis a few years back, and it didn't go well for him.
So whether it's J.D. Vance or whoever the Republican nominee who's going to be the kind of successor of Donald Trump, you know, somebody like that who has mastery over facts, I mean, Gavin Newsom gets humiliated because he stands there and you played a clip or talked about it a little while ago about him talking about Trump being historically unpopular. Uh and all the issues. I mean, those are sh lies. I mean, the majority of American people support Donald Trump's agenda, like immigration and ICE and deportations.
So he's just saying things that are fundamentally untrue, but he's saying it to a sycophantic press in front of sycophantic supporters Um and so there's no pushback. And so, you know, he's not a likable guy. He's very vicious. He's very hard. He's not someone you can relate to.
And that M.O., I don't think, is going to play well with the American people, especially because, look, he's the governor of a state that he has destroyed. I live in it. Yeah.
Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I don't know how you guys are doing it in California, but golly, if he becomes the presidential favorite for the Democrats or even just becomes more popular nationwide, we are in a world of hurry. It is Drew Thomas Allen, America's Last Stand, and Drew Allen Chill podcast. Brother, it's always good to talk to you, my friend. Keep up that fight and keep going behind enemy lines, buddy.
Oh, thanks, man. I'm looking forward to talking to you soon, and I always appreciate it, man. You're the best. Yeah, hey, we'll always do it again. We love it.
Drew Thomas Allen, we appreciate him very much. Got to take a break. Your thoughts on this and more when we come back here on the Todd Starns Radio Program. Welcome back to it. It is the Todd Starnes Radio Show.

Thanks again to Drew Allen, host of the Drew Allen Show podcast, joining us in that last segment on the Patriot mobile newsmaker hotlines. The socialist revolution happening. The nice thing is, and again, being the eternal optimist, are we necessarily very worried about it? Yes and no. But President Trump, when he spoke yesterday, didn't seem to be too terribly concerned about it either.
November 5th, 2024, the American people reclaimed our government. We restored our sovereignty. We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York, but We'll take care of it, don't worry about it. We rescued our economy, regained our liberty, and together we saved our country. Boom.
So he's like, yeah, we're not going to worry about it.
Now, there is rumor, and I really, really, really, really hope it's true. And we're going to talk more about it in the third hour of the program. But there is an opportunity here. And if you want socialism, I think. There was a push from Republicans knowing that maybe Mom Donnie was going to win with all the way the polls were showing, the polymarket showing that there was like a 92% chance of Mom Donnie actually winning.
And that turned out to be very true with the voter turnout that hasn't been seen in New York for the mayor's race since 1969. That's pretty wild in itself with the number of people. And the vast majority of them were foreigners that, for some reason, fled socialism and tyranny. And then were like, yeah, this sounds vaguely familiar. Let's go ahead and vote for this kind of guy.
And then the young generation that just really thinks it's cool for the idea of socialism. And there were some that were. I think it was a coping mechanism. Or they said that we needed to allow socialism to happen for us to be reminded about how bad it is for the next generation. They have to suffer through it a little bit.
Maybe that's true. I don't like to go down that road because then we have a really hard time getting it back to normal afterwards. But. Is there an opportunity for us here to really, really make sure that socialism shows its ugly face and to make them live that example on how bad it actually is? We'll do some of that later on, right around the corner for the Todd Starns radio program.
Stay here. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. Brown. I'm going. This American And round time.
Star. What is up, America? Welcome into it. It is the Todd Starnes Radio Program. No, it is not Todd Starns.
He is off today, back at it again here tomorrow, maybe. We shall see. But it's so great to have you. Andy Hoosier sitting in for the great Todd Starnes on the Todd Starnes radio program. And welcome aboard, moving that Liberty University studios out here to Wichita, Kansas, my flagship station of Wichita's big talker, KQAM, a great affiliate of the Todd Starnes Radio Show.
And welcome aboard for your pre-Friday celebration. Still licking our wounds from the election, but yet now we're seeing it already within days of this transition beginning, the crumbling and the exposing of what they are all about. We're going to have some fun with that here in this hour on the program. And I want to hear from you: 901-260-5926. 901-260-5926.
Bottom of this hour, we have U.S. Senator James Langford from the great state of Oklahoma. He'll be joining us. There is now talk, at least potential talk. We'll see if it happens or not.
Donald Trump advocating for the ending of the filibuster and to open up the federal government, get things. Going again and cram it down the throats of the Democrats. Will it happen or not? Time will tell. We shall see.
I don't know. I mean, no, I don't. I don't know. It very well could. We'll have to see.
We'll talk with Senator James Lankford about that at the bottom of the hour. I know we did it last hour. Can I play it one more time, Dylan? I know I don't like to be repetitive, but can we do this one more time? Because it sounded oh, so good.
The big announcement earlier today with Nancy Pelosi saying she will not be running for re-election next year. That is why I want you, my fellow San Franciscans, to be the first to know. I will not be seeking re-election to Congress. Mm-hmm. With a grateful heart, I look forward to my final year of service as your proud representative.
That is great news, man. We could celebrate, I know. That is While the darkness of what happened on Tuesday, although that was pretty much expected of what was going to happen with the election results on Tuesday, this is still good news that we can relish in because we are going to have Nancy Pelosi on the way out.
So, oh, okay, so those that may not be familiar with my radio program, I do this anytime that someone leaves office, and we get to do this on the Todd Starns show, which I'm so excited about.
So, Nancy Pelosi, the proper farewell right here on the Todd Stearns radio show. That's how we do it. Dylan, what do you think? Is that the proper farewell? I think that's, yeah, that's exactly what is needed there.
Yeah.
That's what is needed officially.
So we may do that one more time before the show is done and over. All right, there's a lot to get to. 901-260-5926. President Donald Trump, outside of making an announcement earlier today about Trump RX, made an announcement yesterday that he is not going to tolerate the persecution of religious folk, especially in the nation of Nigeria, after making this announcement. Existential threat in Nigeria.
Thousands and thousands of Christians are being killed. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter. I am hereby making Nigeria a country of particular concern. That's a legal definition. When the Christians or any such group is slaughtered, Like is happening in Nigeria, 3,100 versus 4,476 worldwide.
What horrible numbers.
Something has to be done. I am asking Congressman Riley Moore, together with Chairman Tom Cole and the House Appropriations Committee, to immediately look into this matter and to report back to me. And I mean, like, immediately. The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria and numerous other countries. It's not only Nigeria, it's all over.
We stand ready, willing, and able to save our great Christian population around the world. This is not going to happen. The killing of Christians is not going to happen. Boom.
I mean, that's some pretty tough talk right there from the Trump administration. He normally doesn't get that aggressive. It's almost like, except there's actually backing behind it because we know we'll actually follow through with it if it happens. But it reminded me in a better fashion from when Joe Biden was telling Iran, like, what are they going to do with their nuclear weapons? It don't.
Don't. Like that was the Biden administration. Donald Trump, when it comes to the persecution of Christians in Nigeria, he's like, Yeah, this ain't going to happen. And I want, what did he say? He's like, I want info and I want it fast.
To immediately look into this matter and to report back to me. And I mean like immediately. Are you serious, man? Don't test the man. President Donald Trump laying down that gauntlet.
This is going to happen and it's going to happen pretty quickly. One thing, especially for those on the religious side of the social issues and those that look through the political lens, through a religious lens, that Donald Trump has been an advocate, a staunch advocate for religious liberty. And I mean, obviously, very faithful himself, a Christian man, and saying that his faith has been even deepened after, obviously, his assassination attempt from just a year ago that really made him a little bit more self-aware, I think. And you've noticed his tone change quite dramatically compared to what he was like, you know, in the first administration, compared to what he is now, because of, I think, him maybe refinding his faith and deepening that faith just a little bit more. But even regardless of that, early on in this administration, he started that task force on religious protections for anybody, yes, Christians, but everybody in this nation to have any type of religious view that they want to and that no one's going to be persecuted.
He really does not like. Maybe it's one of his sticklers. He does not like someone being attacked for their religious views, whatever that may be. And with the ongoing genocide of Christians in portions of Africa, he's not tolerating it. And we've looked the other way for a long time.
We've kind of put the blinders on for a long time. And even the United Nations and the useless organization that is with the blue helmets. Oh, I'm so scared of the blue helmets. Whatever will we do? But he's finally saying, Yeah, this ain't gonna be tolerated any longer, and we're gonna do something about it.
So, God bless Donald Trump on that front. And we need to fight for those religious liberties, which leads to bringing it back to the home front. It leads to a conversation that we need to have, and let's have the serious conversation about it in the city of New York with the new Muslim mayor. Not that I necessarily care that he's Muslim. That's not my stickler.
But because of the tension that Muslim populations and Jewish populations usually have, what that's going to lead to in the city of New York. And Mom Donnie has apparently come out yesterday, right afterwards, holding a press conference, saying that he's already working on trying to battle anti-Semitism. I almost said it without cracking up, Dylan. I almost did it, but said that he was going to fight anti-Semitism and that he was going to work with the Jewish populations. I have not spoken to Jonathan Greenblatt.
I take the issue of anti-Semitism incredibly seriously. And last night in my speech, I spoke about how my city hall will stand steadfast with Jewish New Yorkers in fighting the scourge of anti-Semitism across this city and making that clear in the actions that we deliver on from January 1st. And I look forward to working with Jewish leaders across this city, whether they be elected officials, whether they be rabbis, whether they be community leaders, to deliver on the promise of not just protecting Jewish New Yorkers, but celebrating and cherishing them in this same city.
Now, do you believe him? I mean, is that something that you believe him say? I mean, this is a guy that did not condemn the term global antifada. This is a guy who said he would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu if he steps into New York City. This is a guy who did not like Israel whatsoever and was out there.
And we have the audio of it playing him of chanting Free Palestine. He's been very anti-Semitic against the nation of Israel in general already. Even during the debate stage, I don't know if I have the audio. I don't think I have it with me right offhand. But during the debate, like the first debate when there was about 12, 10 different candidates running for mayor early on in that race, and they asked him about, should there be a nation of Israel?
He goes, yeah, there should be a nation of Israel. And they say, a Jewish nation of Israel? He's like, well, a free nation of Israel. They should have freedom for everybody. And he would not say that he supported a Jewish state.
Of the nation of Israel. He could not say it. He would not say it. He would not say that he would condemn the global anti-FADA. In fact, he just said that's not a position for the mayor of New York City to be speaking on.
And I'm not going to try and censor anybody's freedom of speech. And he can completely skirt it around these issues.
So now, all of a sudden, as the mayor-elect, which apparently he wants you to go to Transition 2025 and donate to his transition for the socialism to try and beef up his administrative socialist state, how that happens, I don't know. Man. Man, he's got a pair of cuevos to try and advocate for that. He's now. Making statements as the mayor-elect saying that he's going to work with the Jewish population in the city of New York and he's going to condemn anti-Semitism.
I don't know that I believe him. This is the first time he's actually said anything about supporting the Jewish state whatsoever. That's kind of weird to me.
So, do you trust him? And do you believe him at all? 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926. Is this a cause for concern? And for the Jewish population in New York that is usually predominantly pretty left-wing and Democrats, I'm curious on where they stand on this issue.
Are they concerned? I know that there was some outcry early on in the election with Mom Donnie potentially winning this race, but we haven't honestly heard much from them since. I don't know, the last month, last couple of weeks at least. Of them speaking out, saying this is a complete danger. We are really concerned about what could happen if Zoran Mamdani becomes mayor of New York City.
Now here's the opportunity. And I teased this in the last hour: what can we do now that Mom Donnie is advocating for this big socialist transition? He's hiring a whole bunch of more administrators because you can't have socialism without a big administrative state, without a big totalian government state to try and lord over you. He's asking for donations to make something like that happen. What can we do about it?
Here's the advocating for it with Donald Trump laughing it off and just saying that, yeah, we're just going to deal with it. We restored our sovereignty. We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York, but We'll take care of it. Don't worry about it. Yeah, he just kind of laughed it off.
We'll take care of it. Don't worry. We got this. Not going to be a big issue. Here's the opportunity.
If you want socialism, and I'm here to say that I believe full staunchly in the idea of federalism, of states' rights, of states having sovereign ideas, and they can be their own social experiments. And we don't want this advocated at the federal level. In fact, it's supposed to be unconstitutional and illegal to advocate for communism at a federal level for our federal government, but we don't enforce some of those laws that are still on the books. At the state level, though, It is. We're supposed to, as conservatives, we believe in the idea of federalism.
We believe in the idea that states are still, for the most part, sovereign states that can make their own decisions. And if you want a socialized healthcare system, you can do that at a state level. We just can't do it at a federal level because the federal government is not supposed to be involved in these sorts of things. But if you want it at that state level, if you want it at the city level, All the prerogative to you, go for it. Here's the thing.
We're not funding it with federal taxpayer money. If you're going to do a socialist takeover, Zoron Mom Donnie, New York City, all you little millennials out there that think that this is going to be a great free busing and free groceries and free everything else, we're not funding it for you. This is the time for the Trump administration to end all federal subsidies to New York. Just be done with it. If you want it, cool.
You can fund it and you can figure it out yourself. And if it works out, great. Is it going to work out? No, because it's never worked out ever, ever, ever in the history of socialism where they've ever tried it.
So it's going to be a major flop, but. If you want it, cool. The only way that socialism works is if you funnel money in from outside in order to fund the programs that you've completed and bleeded dry from everybody that's currently there.
So it's not sustainable, but we're not going to fund that. You're a nice taxpayer money, wherever you are across the nation. You're not going to fund, or we shouldn't be funding, socialist programs for free housing, and free groceries, and free buses, and free trains, and free everything else that he wants to do in New York City. And again, there's a bit of a guardrail from the city council, but we shouldn't be.
So, President Trump, the best way to cut federal funding. Just cut it. Boom.
Figure it out yourself, man. And while you're at it, we should probably get back to the constitutional values of just cutting federal subsidies for just about everything. Right?
Now again, that's a bit of a pipe dream. Can't really go that extreme. I would like to, honestly, and have a reset in the entire system, which is what we have an opportunity to do while the government shut down as we speak, but we're not doing that, but at least cut off federal subsidies for New York City. If you want socialism, cool. Figure it out.
And when you start taxing the millionaires and the billionaires, because that's where all the money is, and then you say you want to ban billionaires, and all of them end up leaving or go bankrupt or can't sustain the tax rates that you put on them, and they leave, then where else are you going to get the money? Oh, that's right. The same ones that you said you wanted to give all the free goodies to.
So you can have the free buses, and you can have the free grocery store, and you can have the free housing, and you can have no property taxes, and you can have all this stuff that you want. But you're also going to be paying an 80% tax rate, and you won't be able to survive. Welcome to socialism. Welcome to the way that that failed. And maybe we do need to remind ourselves of that lesson.
But the only way that we're going to teach them that lesson. is if we cut off the federal subsidies. And make them survive on their own because if we don't. Then the programs will halfway kind of sort of work, and the Democrats will play the victim that they never got to do as much as they wanted to. And they'll play the victim that we never got to go as pure of socialism that we wanted.
And they play the victim, they manipulate the numbers, they talk about how successful some of their programs are. And then that's the new starting point. Even if we elect a Republican or someone afterwards, we don't remove these programs because government programs never go away. And that's their new starting point to send that pendulum even further down the road to the left later on down the road, years or decades later. And that is a major cause for concern.
901-260-5926. It is the Todd Starnes radio program. Back after this. Uh Yeah, welcome back to it. Todd Starns Radio Program, right here on a pre-Friday celebration.
You can find his information at ToddStarnes.com taking a day off. Andy Hoosier sitting in today for the Todd Starnes Radio Show. We're going to have to start a new collection, Dylan, of all the ridiculous comments, like it was. It was one of those collections like we saw with Joe Biden with all the gaps that he made at that time. Alexandria Olcasio-Cortez with all the gaps and ridiculous comments that she makes.
I am told this is a garbage disposal. We're going to have to make a collage now of all the comments that Zoran Mom Donnie is going to start making as well. Because during, did you hear the election speech that the victory speech he gave on election night, which honestly was done relatively quick in New York? They closed polls at 9 o'clock, and by I think 10, 10.30, it was already done and called for Mom Donnie, which was insane. But this is stupid comments number 284.
New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants. Powered by immigrants. Pretty much. And as of tonight, led by an immigrant. I didn't know that no one else was an immigrant until he came here.
No one else was an immigrant until Zoran Mamdani, which is why I ask you at 901-260-5926, do you trust him when he says that he's working with the Jewish leaders in the city of New York? And coming from Uganda, is that where he's originally from? Uganda, I believe, that coming over here now. As an immigrant, sure, but apparently nobody else is an immigrant. Although, I could be wrong, correct me here.
Isn't Donald Trump's parents immigrants from Scotland?
So he's a second-generation immigrant. Most anybody that's in New York, aren't they all? Immigrants in some fashion, unless you're a Native American, then you're really an immigrant in some fashion.
So these are the ridiculous comments. And this is where socialism in this young generation, and again, as a millennial myself, I apologize. I am truly, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize for my generation. We're the ones that started the Tide Pod eating challenges. We're the ones that started the ridiculousness on social media.
We believe in the things of AOC. Not me, but a large portion of my generation believes in AOC, believes in Zoro and Mom Donnie. They fall for this garbage. Because to them, this sounds really, really good. That there's an oppressed group of.
Other skinned individuals that are oppressed by society, trying to break through the glass ceiling. They never have the opportunity to do so. All these immigrants that never get to live the American dream, even though they come here wanting to experience the American dream because they still have better opportunities here than any other place on the face of the earth, that that's not good enough. But now an immigrant is leading the city of New York. The Cuavos came from Sicily.
For crying out loud, former Governor Andrew Cuomo. And Chris Cuomo, the guy on News Nation, I believe he's on now. They're from Sicily. Their father was from Sicily. They were second generation.
So I don't understand this whole immigration issue other than it sounds really good. This is the messaging that the young generation, the clapping seals, the ones that were at the nightclubs, where Zoron Mom Donnie was at campaigning over the weekend at these nightclubs. These young 25-year-olds, oh, that sounds great. Yeah, immigrants. I don't get it, man.

Okay, do we have our guest on, you said? We do. Let's go to the Liberty University Studios or the Patriot Mobile Newsmaker hotlines. And an update from DC, the ongoing government shutdown. Could we...
See the on-ramp from Democrats and where are we at with this ridiculousness with the shutdown? Happy to have on the program, U.S. Senator James Lankford from the great state of Oklahoma. Senator, how are you, my friend? I am doing okay, except I'm waiting on Democrats to make up their mind.
It's so wild. I cannot believe this. Yeah, this is beyond frustrating. It's so wild to me that they would pass up a straight, clean, continuing resolution to die on a hill to say we want essentially universal health care right now, not with the discussion through policy and through Congress and through on the Senate and House floors, but saying we want it in a CR right now or else we're just going to keep the government shut down. This is wild.
Yes, it is wild. And I wish it was that simple even. That even that statement's wild. That is the demand of about five of them, but five of them have a totally different set of demands on what they want for federal workers. Another five of them have a different demand on what they want for subsidies.
They're all over the map. And every time you start to negotiate, a different Democrat steps forward and says, no, now I want something different. And we can't actually get them to make up their mind on it.
So what we have offered And what we put out from long conversations is we've got three appropriation bills. We already agree there's twelve total. We've got three we already both agree on and the House agrees on in principle. Obviously, the House got a vote on it. We would bring those three to the floor, that fund for a full year, do a continuing resolution until January And so we can keep talking through the rest of it.
A group of them agreed, and then they stepped back and said, No, now we don't agree on it.
Now we want. new additional things on federal workers and what we're going to do on the future. And we want a guaranteed new vote on something different on health care. It's been bizarre. And I keep thinking it they seem to not be in a hurry at all on this.
And I keep thinking, there are federal workers that haven't been paid for over a month. They've been on the job, not paid for over a month. There are people not getting snap benefits. There are Head Start facilities that are no longer open. The airlines are actually shutting down over and over today.
Right now, somewhere, there's a mom with her kids trying to be able to fly out to see her parents somewhere, and she's stuck at an airport somewhere because flights are getting canceled because Democrats can't make up their mind of what they want. And every time they try to change something, it's days to be able to rewrite text and to be able to look at it.
So it's just bizarre on it. They just don't seem to care about the effect that it's having on the economy and the country. It's so weird, but yet not surprising that they would move the goalpost because they are so good at doing that, moving the goalpost all the time. But Senator, here's the issue. And I applaud you guys for standing firm on this issue.
And you guys have said it before. There's nothing to negotiate. Again, if they want these different health policies, if they want these issues, do it when government's open. Do it on the Senate floor. Create a bill and discuss it like a normal person.
There's nothing to negotiate. I'm really glad that Republicans have not caved on this so far. Yeah, we've not caved on that. We've been very clear because this is a continuing resolution that's clean, straightforward. There's no partisanship in it.
It's just, yes, we know we have differences of opinion. Everybody knows that. But let's keep the government open. Let's not hurt federal workers and families all over the country because you're mad at politics. The real challenge of this is their goal was to shut the government down.
So we're saying we want to keep it open. We want to keep central funding. Their goal was we want to shut it down. We want to show our base party that we're really committed and we're going to fight Trump. But they're really actually hurting families all over the country.
That's the difficult part about this. And I look at it and say, okay, everybody gets your point on it. We understand you don't like President Trump, but you know what? The American people. Picked him, they like what he is doing on it.
We know you don't like what he's doing on it, but they like what he is doing on it.
So, allow him to govern, or at least keep the government open, or at least don't hurt children, which is what you're doing. Yeah, that's exactly what they're doing. And to me, Senator, to me, the irony is very thick when you're saying we're going to stand on a hill and die on the idea of universal health care, regardless of what those conditions are. In order to get the freebies that we want to give the American people or even non-American people with this healthcare battle, we're going to take food away from people with 42 million individuals on food stamps. How do you reconcile the idea of we want to be the safety net for Americans by giving them health care?
And in order to get everything we want, we're going to take away other safety nets like SNAP and then blame it on Donald Trump. Like to me, politically and logically, none of that makes sense. None of it makes sense. Yeah, you're not going to get food, so I can fight for health care. It's not even healthcare, though, for all Americans.
Everybody needs to be clear. What the the original fight was was a select group of nineteen million people. Would get an additional $400 billion in new subsidies, but the rest of Americans would have no change at all. Everybody needs to be clear. That was what they're originally looking for and what they keep coming back on.
When they talk about the subsidies, that's not for you. That's not for probably anybody that's listening to this call. It's a select group of nineteen million people that they get those additional subsidies, but everyone else gets high insurance rates.
So that's really where it is. If you want real irony on it, you mentioned this, the irony of it. Let me give you a quote from Chris Murphy, who is kind of leading the charge for the far left here in the Senate. Chris Murphy made this statement in twenty thirteen when we had the fight over Obamacare and Republicans closed down the government for two weeks.
Now remember, that was a two week fight in twenty thirteen over Obamacare. Chris Murphy at that time said there is a time and a place to debate health care just like there is a time and a place to debate energy policy, immigration and education, but not when the funding for the federal government is closed and lives that are impacted by it hang in the balance. That's right.
Well, yes, I agree with that, Chris Murphy of twenty thirteen, but right now he is one of the leaders of saying, nope, keep it shut down, keep it shut down as long as we possibly can. Wow, it's a wild. What a situation we're in right now. We're talking with U.S. Senator James Langford from the great state of Oklahoma.
Where is the on-ramp for them? Because obviously, we're not going to cave. We're not going to say, oh, sure, we're just going to fund all of these new subsidies, all of these new Obamacare initiatives, these 19 million people that they want to put back on Obamacare. We're not going to get rid of the work requirements that we put into the one big beautiful bill back in July. It's not going to happen.
It's dead on arrival if we even try to negotiate. I saw the letter from Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer yesterday that said, We demand a bipartisan sit-down to negotiate this stuff for the Republican government shutdown, which I think is really hilarious again. But for Democrats, how long are they willing to keep this going? And is there an on-ramp for them when they don't actually win and they have to capitulate here? Yes, we have offered over and over and over again different ways for them to be able to get out of it in the same pace.
We've said, hey, we understand your politics on it. here's some ways. We will give you a vote for your package. That's how it works in America. We can't guarantee you an outcome.
We can guarantee you a vote. You'll get a vote for your issue. The American people can see how ridiculous it is. Your far leftist political base in New York City. cheering from Mondami in the streets, they will all cheer you.
And which is apparently what the Democrats in the Senate want is the Mondami folks cheering them. And so they'll get their cheering from the streets of New York City, but then America can still move on. But they've said nope, we're not willing to do that. They're coming up with new demand every couple of new hours. And they, this whole group, the far left and the Senate.
has said, hey, we won on Tuesday in the elections and the American people want us to keep fighting. And I think, yep, there I'm sure there is a group of folks I want you to keep botting, but they're not snap recipients. They're not families waiting on them to get on an airplane. They're not federal workers that are trying to be able to actually pay their rent. It's not that great fighting.
They just want something done. No, it's the absolute radicals that have hijacked this party for sure. There's been talk, President Donald Trump advocating for the ending of the filibuster to open up government and just kind of ram it down their throat. And Senator, I got to be honest, I'm torn on the issue. I would love to see Republicans just end the filibuster, cram it down the Democrats' throat and make them completely useless in the Senate to where you guys don't have to worry about them at all.
At the same time, though, that almost gives them an out, doesn't it? Because then they can continue to play the victim of we don't have any power. We have to do what we can to stop the tyranny of Republicans and the MAGA extremists of Donald Trump.
So is there still a conversation right now? And is that an option that you guys are considering right now with ending the filibuster? Yeah, we're not considering any of the filibuster because, quite frankly, I know what Joe Biden would have done if he had no filibuster rule in his first two years. We saw that very, very clearly. He did an abortion on demand in every single state and would have required it.
He would have taken away right to work laws. He would have packed the Supreme Court and created a liberal Supreme Court. He would have added Washington, D.C. as a state to add two more Democrat senators, and there would have been no looking back. I can assure you, without the filibuster protecting the rights of conservatives across the country, the first time Democrats get the option to do that, they won't just vote on what they want.
They will structurally, systematically change this into socialist New York City in a heartbeat and will try to find a way to be able to never turn it back. That's what they will do if there's no filibuster. We've already seen that.
So, yeah, I think the filibuster is an important backstop for us. Is it frustrating right now? It absolutely is. But I guarantee you, we'll be glad when it's there the next time there's somebody like Joe Biden elected. Yeah, well, that is very true, for sure.
We're talking with you as Senator James Lankford from the state of Oklahoma here on the Todd Starnes radio program. Senator, you and I have talked about this on my show. Todd's talked about this to you on this show as well. But the idea of the Prevent Government Shutdown Act seems more prevalent now than ever to say, hey, we cannot use this moving forward now as a leveraged tool to try and punish the American people for your political agenda, whatever that may be. That's absolutely insane.
We cannot allow this. I mean, I would think that even some of the Democrats, John Fetterman, one of the few semi-rational voices on the Democrat side right now, would maybe start reconsidering and say, maybe we should look at this bill again. Yes, I hope that we can. I had fifty seven votes for this bill last session. The bill is very simple.
It says if we get to a moment like this, then we will again someday. We get to a moment like this, the government automatically stays open at current spending levels, but the House and the Senate are both in session seven days a week We keep debating until we actually get things solved. But the American people and federal workers are held harmless. But members of Congress have the pressure on them to be able to stay in continuous session seven days a week until we actually solve it. That's the way to go right now is to get everybody here.
Democrats should be for that. They're all griping and saying the House should be back here in session, but the House has nothing to do right now because Senate Democrats are the ones that are holding the whole body down at this point.
So the House is not in session now. But if my bill would have passed, The House and the Senate would both be here. We would have to negotiate this out until it's actually resolved. But No one would be missing flights today. No every federal worker would still be being paid today.
No one would be worried about SNAP benefits not being there today because those things would continue, but the pressure would be on us. I think that's where the pressure should be. Had fifty seven votes for that last session, fifty seven, three votes short from actually passing that out of the Senate. I know it would have passed the House on it. It already has bipartisan support in the House.
So let's get this thing let's get us open again. And then my plan is to be able to push this to say, let's get a vote on this. And so that's this is the last shutdown we ever had. Yeah, that would be really, really nice. By the way, real quick, just out of speculation, why is it that Hakeem Jeffries in the House has been the spokesperson for the Democrats in the face of this government shutdown instead of Chuck Schumer?
Jeffries is completely irrelevant. They already passed it through the House. He's got no power. Why isn't it Chuck Schumer that's actually out there making this happen? It is the Schumer shutdown, and they're trying to keep Schumer away from the media as much as possible unless it's controlled media press conferences that he's actually doing and he's controlling who gets the questions and such.
Otherwise, they don't want Schumer out front because everybody knows this is the Schumer shutdown. He is the one that's driving this whole thing. Yeah, it's very strange. I see him pop up just every once in a while. He'll make a speech maybe once a week, and we say, hey, welcome back to the party.
Welcome to the party. Yeah, that's where we're at with Chuck Schumer. Last question for you, Senator, and I appreciate your time. But I got to get your thoughts on the elections from Tuesday, the Democrat sweep that we saw in New York and in Virginia and in New Jersey. Not necessarily unexpected, but is this a concern about the midterms of next year, or is this maybe a wake-up call for Republicans of, hey, communism's taking over the Democrat Party and we can't allow that to happen again next year?
What's your thoughts on the election and how that moves into the midterms? Yes, there were no surprises that Democrats won in New York City, New Jersey, Virginia, California. Those are all deep blue areas. There's no surprise. The surprise was the size of the win and how many Democrats showed up to be able to vote in their enthusiasm.
to be able to show up and vote.
So that was the surprise on it for a lot of pollsters and for a lot of us to be able to see. The wake up call on this is a couple of things. One is The anti-Semitism that's grown in the Democrat Party is very, very real. We should be attentive to it in the Republican Party as well and across the entire country. While we're watching Mandame and what he's saying, just a few years ago, Democrats would have said absolutely not.
Now Democrats are embracing that anti-Semitic rhetoric that he's running in a city like New York and the socialism that he's promoting in the center of American capitalism, New York City, that he is promoting a socialism that's completely unfamiliar to the vast majority of Americans. That is the seed that will continue to spread across the Democrat Party. We need to call it out for what it is, but also be aware of it. We need to speak boldly about the importance of free markets. and opportunities in capitalism and the ability for people to be able to choose for themselves and to be able to speak up for the rights of individuals like our Jewish neighbors as well that My Democrat colleagues have no problem slamming.
We as Republicans need to call out Republicans that actually have anti Semitic statements on that. We should call it out for what it is and to say not here, not now. If you want to be a Democrat and to have that opinion, you're welcome in their party, but you're not welcome to be anti Semitic in ours. It is a strange world that we live in right now. U.S.
Senator James Langford from the state of Oklahoma. Senator, thank you for what you guys are doing. Keep up this fight. Do not cower and back down, and we appreciate everything you guys are doing. Keep praying for the nation, and we'll keep working.
That's what it's about, Senator James Langford. We appreciate him very much. One segment left. Your calls when we come back right here on the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Yeah.
Welcome back to the show. It is the Todd Sears Radio Show. Thanks again to U.S. Senator James Langford from the state of Oklahoma. We appreciate him very much.
He brought up a really interesting point about the Democrats embracing Zoron Mom Donnie, the Democrat Party not really having any other options or outlets to go to.
Now that's who they are. That's what it is. They're struggling, but they are getting there. In fact, Senator Bernie Sanders made a statement during their press conference of government shutdown, Donald Trump evil Republicans not negotiating with us on universal health care and our socialist takeover of the federal government during non-policy times, but did say that he was actually pretty frustrated with Democrats not endorsing Mom Donnie.
Well, the party leadership did not support Mom Dani in New York anymore. Party leadership is not supporting Plattner in Maine, and I think he's going to win.
So I think it is, you know, I think there is a growing understanding that leadership. And defending the status quo and the inequalities that exist in America is not where the American people are. Wow.
So you either vote for socialism, which is equality, which isn't equality, but he says it's equality. Either vote for that or else you're not of the people. And that was Bernie Sanders, the Democrat hijacking the Communist Socialist Party. Democrats. Is now almost complete.
Thanks again, Todd. It's always a pleasure to be able to fill in for you, Andy, who's your sitting in. It is your Todd Sterns radio program. Everybody, have a great day. We'll see you back on the radio.
Bye.
