Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun-totin, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. It is the Todd Stearns radio program. It is not Todd Stearns, however, he is out for another day. But hey, what's up? Yours surely, Andy Hoosier's and moving the Liberty University studios out from Memphis, Tennessee, all the way to Wichita, Kansas, and my flagship station, KQAM, Wichita's big talker, where we are sitting in for Todd Stearns and a great affiliate for Todd Stearns.
Welcome into the Todd Stearns Radio Program for a Friday and for a Halloween. We get to celebrate the Halloween celebration on the pro. We're going to have some fun today because it is a Friday. I know that it's the beginning of the trifecta. Here's why Halloween is so important.
Even if you don't celebrate Halloween, you don't do the trick-or-treating, don't necessarily care for what it's about. That's fine. All the power to you. But To me, it's the kickoff of Of holiday season. We are now in the trifecta of the end of the year, which I know you don't want to hear.
You may be panicking a little bit. Oh my God. I haven't done my Christmas shopping yet. It's okay, but at the same time, we are trying to get you ready. We are now in a holiday mode, and I have been, for some reason, Overly festive this year.
I don't know why, but I have really enjoyed it and I've been so excited for today because it's not only Friday, it's not only Halloween. Halloween lands on a Friday, which is even more awesome to me. It's also my wife's birthday today. And Tiffany, so uh on my radio show, my show is called The Voice of Reason. With Andy Hoosier, uh, Mrs.
Voice of Reason is what we call her on the air, is officially turning 39 today.
So, happy birthday, Mrs. Voice of Reason. And it's great that we get to celebrate together here on the Todd Starns Radio program. Dylan, jump on for just a moment with me here. I didn't totally plan this, but we were talking a little bit off the air.
You guys did not see. Celebrate or dress up in Halloween costumes this year, did you? No, I completely forgot to dress up. I forgot that it was even Halloween, so I'm like the opposite of you right now. I'm like, wow, festive.
You forgot it's Halloween? How do you forget a holiday? That's like any chance that we can celebrate a holiday, that's what we have to do. I know. And I usually, I usually am pretty on top of Halloween.
Like in the past, I've dressed up as like the Bob from Bob's Burgers, and it was a hit. And then. Just this year I'll drop the ball.
Well done. I like that. I've never heard of someone dressing up like Bob from Bob Spurgers. That's really good. I've been hooked on that show recently.
I did not know it was still going on, honestly, that TV show. Had no idea. I watched, I think, the first eight seasons and that kind of went off.
So well done on that one.
Now, here's the thing. I did not dress up in costume for work today either. I do every single year. And the radio station cluster that I work at here in Wichita, Kansas, I get made fun of every year for dressing up for Halloween because no one else does. And you know what they tell me, Dylan?
They give me the runaround. I say it's company policy. You have to wear a Halloween costume. And you know what they tell me? They say that, well, I've dressed up as a DJ this year.
Yeah. That's not okay. Yeah, that's cheating. Yeah, that's a cop-out, man.
So, you can't do that.
So, anyways, if you celebrate, happy Halloween. Tomorrow is All Saints Day for the Catholic community.
So, regardless of what you celebrate, what you like, well done, and happy Halloween. Happy festive season to you because here at Gills, man, the trifecta, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and then we hit the new year and hit the reset button and start all over again for that process. But this to me is the beginning of that warm, good feeling after the creepiness today. And by the way, watching Washington, D.C. in the White House, did you see the Halloween festivities at President Trump?
Was doing yesterday with Melania. They were handing out the candy to the trick-or-treaters. They always are so elegant. And I know this is Melania. We love you, First Lady.
You are absolutely amazing. One of the classiest First Ladies that we've seen in the White House in, well, a very long time. She does the best decorations at the White House. It is so cool. And if you have not seen the photos of the White House for trick-or-treating yesterday with the pumpkins everywhere and the Halloween lights and all the kids running around, it was so much fun.
And Donald Trump, ma'am. He's so relatable. He's out there, he's putting candy on like the top of the costumes of the kids. This one kid, I don't know what it was, looked like a chandelier or like a light bulb or something. And he put the candy on top of the costume, just playing with the kids, having fun.
You want to talk about relatability. We have the Democrat Party right now that is so unrelatable. That they have to go on late-night talk shows and try to crack jokes. You had Kamala Harris trying to sip on a beer on a late-night TV show during the presidential race. They have social media challenges where they're putting up their arms, like, who would you choose to be your next fighter in the mortal combat of the political scene?
And they try to do these ridiculous. We had Chuck Schumer, what was it, last year on 4th of July, take the selfie with him and the raw burger patty and the piece of cheese on the raw burger patty before it's cooked. And he's like, I'm just like you, America. And it doesn't work. They're so unrelatable.
Hillary Clinton had to actually do a relatability class when she was running for president back in 2015. That's how pathetic this Democrat party is. In Donald Trump, he shows up to a UFC fight, people go crazy. shows up to a NASCAR race, people go crazy. Shows up to an NFL game, people go nuts.
He does a trick-or-treating thing, having fun with the kids, playing around with them, you know, teasing them with the candy bars. That is what an American president is supposed to be with a government of the people, by the people, for the people. That's what it's supposed to be now. And it's so heartwarming. To watch someone like President Trump do that.
So that was really neat. I found that kind of cool. But speaking of with the headlines of the day, as we're watching some of the craziness, it is vastly different with our leadership right now, especially during the holiday season. Donald Trump handing out candy to kids. When, if you remember, Joe Biden was the one that was.
Chasing the Easter bunny around because he didn't know what to do, right? I mean, totally, totally different. From The past administration, and now we actually have a leadership of this administration that knows what they're going to do, that's not going to be stopped with what they're doing, even during the holiday season. They're going to make sure that you, as you're getting ready to go trick-or-treating, spend time with the family and friends, that you're going to be safe in the communities that you live in. As the headline from Christy Noam saying that she is not slowing down her raids on ICE in different communities during the holiday season, even after Governor Pritzker in Illinois said that, hey, kids shouldn't be have to fear, shouldn't have to be fearful of what happens on the streets while they're trying to get candy.
No child in America should have to go trick-or-treating in fear that they might be confronted with armed federal agents. and have to inhale tear gas. I honestly can't even believe that I have to make this plea. No, we're absolutely not willing to put on pause any work that we will do to keep communities safe. The fact that Governor Pritzker is asking for that is.
Shameful. And I think unfortunate that he doesn't recognize how important the work is that we do to make sure we're bringing criminals to justice and getting them off our streets. Boom, there it is.
So we don't really care. Hey, you want to dress up for something really fun? Dylan, you could dress up as an ICE agent. That would be, ooh, yeah. See how well that one turns out, especially when you walk down the streets of Memphis out there where you're at.
I'm sure that would go over really well. But how funny would that be if individuals actually were dressing up as ICE agents? But Governor Prisker not liking. The ice continuously doing their raids throughout the holiday season. But here's the thing.
And Christy Noam has said it, and Tom Holman has said it, and the ICE agents have said it themselves. We wouldn't have to come into your communities if you would just hand over. The criminal illegal aliens, the ones that are the molesters or the rapists or the murderers or the drug cartels or whatever, hand them over. And we don't have to walk down your streets. That's all we're looking for.
We're not looking for grandma that's in the back of the shop of the dry cleaners that's just doing her thing that's been here for 20 years and can't speak a lot of English, but is here living the American dream, just supporting her family. We're not looking for you.
Now if there's a cartel member in that dry cleaners and we have to come and raid it because local law enforcement didn't get them, then unfortunately, you're going to be collateral damage. And we don't want that to happen, but that's just the way it's going to be. Our ICE agents have openly said this is the process. But Democrats, playing the games that they do, they've openly said many times that they don't want to hand over criminal aliens to ICE.
So that way they're forced to come into the communities.
So that way they're forced to say that they're victims. And how dare ICE come into our communities and scare our members and scare our children and so on and so forth. But it goes deeper. If you follow the news this week, according to ICE.gov, That immigration authorities just a day or so ago arrested more than 220 individuals in Indiana. Since mid-September With ongoing crackdowns on individuals driving semi-trucks illegally.
And I know you've seen the videos of the. The semis that have been crashing, or the DUIs, or they can't read the roadways, or they can't speak English. I don't know how they got a driver's license in the first place. Not to mention a CDL, because that's a whole nother level. But the fact that they're out on the streets and they're doing this in Indiana alone, 220 arrests have happened since September, over 120 of them actually having CDL licenses and driving large semis.
That's a cause for concern. This is an issue that we need to address. And where are my truckers at? Where are the smoky and the bandits out there at? Where are the good old boys wearing the camo hats and the cut-off flannel t-shirts?
I want to see you out there. Where the heck are our good old boy truck drivers that are having a good time taking care of their families driving across country instead of these individuals that are just being imported in, getting CDLs, having no clue how to drive these things, having no clue how to read our signs, and now putting us in detriment and putting us in danger for them being on the streets? We got a serious problem, and we're going to address it. I want to hear from you today: 901-260-5926. 901-260-5926.
If you want to jump on with us here on the Todd Stearns Radio program for your Halloween episode here on the Todd Stearns Radio Show, back after this. I've got something very exciting for you, the perfect way to celebrate America's 250th birthday next July 4th. It's called Young Washington, a brand new film from Angel Studios and the Wonder Project.
Now, this is not the George Washington on the dollar bill. No, this is the untold story of the young man. At just 20 years old, George Washington faced failure, near-death experiences, and trials that forged the courage and character that would one day win America's independence.
Now, this is not a watered-down history lesson. Young Washington is bold, it's authentic, and it's rooted in truth, showing the values and moral backbone that we need to be reminded of today. Directed by John Irwin, starring Andy. Circus, Ben Kingsley, and Kelsey Grammar. This is a big, cinematic, high-quality film that you're going to be proud to watch with your entire family.
But here's the deal: early support determines how many theaters show this film.
So when you join the Angel Guild, you help secure more screens. You lock in two free tickets, gain access to Angel's full streaming library, and get exclusive behind-the-scenes updates from the cast and director.
So let's make Young Washington the number. Welcome back to it. It is the Todd Stearns Radio Program on a spooky Halloween Friday. Great to have you. Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd Stearns today.
As always, great to chat with you. 901-260-5926. If you want to jump on here, are you dressing up for the Halloween celebration? And should we be backing off on the immigration raids of illegal migrants? Because we're scaring the children during this time.
That's. Kind of funny. At the same time, crime rates are starting to go down when we have a heavy presence of either National Guard or ICE, which is what we're trying. Trying to do to make you the consumer, you, the American person, and whatever community that you're in safe, which would be common sense for government to be doing, as it's getting better. As Todd Starns actually sat down during his Newsmax program, sat down with.
uh Thomas Tuggle with the DeSoto County Sheriff's Office. They're in Memphis talking about what's going on with the crime rates and what they're doing. Wow.
Well, in Memphis, Tennessee, federal troops have made a massive impact on the nation's most dangerous city. Check out these stats that were just released from the U.S. Marshals. 1,700 arrests, nearly 300 illegal guns seized, dozens of children, missing children found. Residents are just stunned by the turnaround.
And joining me now, just across the state line from Memphis, DeSoto County, Mississippi Sheriff Thomas Tuggle. Sheriff, good to have you with us here on Newsmax this evening. I want to start out with a very simple question. What is your message to the criminals lurking about on the streets of Memphis?
Well, it's simple, sir. My message has always been the same. If you come to DeSoto County to commit a crime, we're going to hold you accountable.
So there's no place for criminal activity in DeSoto County. We're going to be very aggressive to that. And we think that message has been, I guess you can say, very well displayed.
Well, no doubt the citizens of DeSoto County have to be pretty darn happy with that news. Let's take a look at some of the data from the city of Memphis. They're saying crime down 46% since last year, murders down 40%, sexual assaults down 50%. Your reaction to those numbers.
Well, my reaction to those numbers is this. Anytime that you have an organization or several organizations that want to come in and help you fight crime, help you with improving the quality of life in your community, you have to accept it. And I'm very happy to see these numbers. When we have partners and our partners work well together, especially being aggressive when it comes to crime, the entire region benefits. And this is part of what we're benefiting from.
When we have our federal partners, along with our state partners, along with our municipal partners working together. And that's why crime is down. And we're benefiting from it. Sheriff, when you look at the population of DeSoto County, it's nearing 200,000.
So that's a pretty good size area, a big population. What's different? What are you guys doing different that wasn't being done on the other side of the state line? But one of the things that we've done is we've been in contact with our community. And, you know, I've said this, Todd, several times, the number one crime fighting tool we, and that's talking about law enforcement, we have is public trust.
And if our community trusts us, they'll pick the phone up. And we both know that a simple phone call have solved some of the most complex crimes in history. And we're benefiting from that trust. And that's why we're able to be proactive when it comes to addressing crime, mentoring our kids. and putting like a bulletproof vest around them.
So if someone tries to pull them into a life of crime, they can look and say, hey, that's not what the sheriff said we should do. And they walk away.
So all of those things are working well for us. I love to hear that. I know that you guys have really been proactive and trying to introduce programs to help these young people who might be at risk make sure they're following the straight and narrow. Yes, sir. That is exactly right.
That's something I talked about on the campaign trail is getting into the schools and talking to these kids because a lot of them are coming from, you know, You know, broken homes coming from issues where they don't have a lot of positive role models. And we've got people in the community, we've got church organizations, civic organizations that have decided to jump on board and help us mentor some of these at-risk students. And it's working for us. I was just at an elementary school. In Hernando, 250 first graders.
And after that conversation, I asked these kids, I said, so if You know, you're confronted by a bully. What are you gonna do? And it was everybody in the whole room said, We're gonna walk away. Because if you walk away, the bully doesn't have a platform.
So, those things are working now.
So, we won't really see the benefits of this probably five, six years down the road, but we have to start somewhere. Yet, there's been a lot of pushback from left-wing activists. Even the county mayor, Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris, is enraged over this. They filed a lawsuit. I want us to listen to this audio from Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson because they're dealing with the same issues we are here in the Memphis area.
Let's watch this. No one is going to convince me what the Trump administration is doing against black people and brown people can ever be justified. It is racist. Sheriff, how do you respond to that? Is it racist what's happening in Memphis right now?
Absolutely not, sir. I will say this here. We can't control what happens outside of our borders, but we can control what happens inside of our borders, and that is protecting our citizens. And I will say this here, and I'm gonna be strong when I say it. You know, you commit a crime in DeSoto County.
Our county line or our county borders will not stop us in the pursuit of justice.
So, when you start talking about race, I've had more people in this community that look like me. That are calling us to say, and Sheriff, thank you for being proactive and thank you for being so aggressive when it comes to crime fighting. Nobody wants to live in a community where they feel threatened and they're, you know, they're. They don't feel safe. Going by their daily activities.
Oh, that's not happening in our county, and we're not going to allow it to happen in our county.
So don't bring the race thing into this. Race has nothing to do with it. When people use race, all it is is their inability. To deal with conflict resolution. I love that.
So, that again, that was Tom Starnes with his Newsmax TV program talking to Thomas Toggle, the DeSoto County Sheriff. And I love that response. I love that with the inability to do conflict resolution. We have crime that's gotten out of hand for so bad. And while Democrats, we're seeing right now the social experiment play out before our eyes, right?
We're seeing Democrat policies for decades where we've become almost accepted. We've almost been conditioned to just accept the ongoing crime rate. Oh, you don't want to go out in the streets after a certain time. Once the sun goes down and it gets dark outside, you'll want to come inside and just lock your doors and make sure to lock your vehicles, make sure everything's fine, and have your home security system. Like we've been conditioned to just think that's normal.
And a lot of these communities and are you thinking it's normal? Is that a way that we should just live?
Well, it's just the way it is. There's always going to be bad guys, which we're right. There's always going to be bad guys. But why would we let. The bad guys run rampant and just run around to whatever they want to do in the middle of our streets.
That's kind of weird to me. And I think that it's time for us to finally say enough's enough. And that's why we're cracking down. And because the social experiment's playing out before our eyes, we're watching the other side of the aisle and their policies that they've advocated for for decades of give us millions of dollars. We'll create a program to try and rehabilitate criminals and lower police because we want to get rid of the police and defund the cops and so on and so forth.
And we'll just do these other programs and we'll see if that works. And it doesn't. And now we're saying enough's enough. We're going to go ahead and clean them up. And they're screaming about racism and screaming about whatever else.
It's just because their policies are failing. The social experiment has played out and it's been a detriment for the Democrat Party. Pretty crazy. When we come back, I want to get your thoughts on this 901-260-59-26. Where are my truck drivers?
And are you upset with the ongoing concern about illegal aliens being imported in to take truck-driving jobs in this nation? And should we be backing off during the holiday season? We'll cover some of this in a heck of a lot more. Andy Hoosier sitting in for the Todd Starns radio program. Stay here.

Amac. All right, let's go to the phones and let's go to a truck driver. Manny is on the line with us here on the Todd Starns Radio Show. Manny, how are you, my friend? Are you there?
Hello, Manny. How are you? Doing good, Andy. Um I'm a forty year Professional truck driver, okay? I'm a CDL.
In 1985, And the schooling back end I went to Superior uh Training Services in Rialto, California, okay? You have to do all these study courses at home. That's every single one. like twenty seven courses or or se you know, fixed. Exceptions.
And um You had to pass them with an 85 was better. Right. And then you went to a resident training for two weeks.
Okay? That doesn't exist anymore. That's part of the problem.
Okay, and it's not just the illegals. or foreign truck drivers There's a lot of resident drivers that also don't qualify, should not be out here. And not even a freaking four-wheeler.
Okay.
So what's the process now? If they've gotten rid of that test, what do they do now? Uh There are times it's They they go to and and they paire they have increasing virtually a week sometimes. Might be A week and a half, maybe? And then they put them.
Into Uh a truck? A lot of your big chariots, okay, are guilty of this. I know for a fact Swift does it. Or they used to do it.
Okay.
They'll be in in their training. And then within a few months, They were allowed to become a trainer or so-called mentor.
Okay? I don't believe anyone with less than three years Okay, experience should be training anybody. They can't even freaking drug themselves.
Okay, now having said that. I'd like to address this. Yeah. To Secretary of Transportation Duffy. And there's the following.
Open up a line, a phone line.
Okay? They've done away with all that. You used to be able to call in.
Now you gotta do an email, you gotta send them a letter. Why is it making it so difficult? to hear from us professionals that they truly cared. It's a really great point. I like that idea.
Open up a phone line and let people call with their concerns. I love the. The idea. And thank you, by the way, for what you do being a truck driver. My grandfather was a truck driver as well.
He did short runs. He didn't do the cross-country stuff. But I mean, I know the difficult job, the long hours that that is, and how hard that is, which is why some people it's very difficult to do. But you would think driving these massive sized vehicles on the roads, these extremely heavy That are hard to slow down and stop on a dime on these roads, that you would have a rigorous course to actually go through the process to get certified for a CDL to drive these semis. And if you're just doing a week-long training and then you have a mentor, and the mentor could only be three years into the job, that's kind of a strange process to me.
So I'm glad you're bringing this attention up. I'm glad you're right. We need to have a phone line to at least voice the concerns, have some people in the industry give their input here. But Mandy, this is wild. First off, thank you for what you do.
I'm scared for the truck driving industry right now.
Well, sir, let me address something else, okay? The pay. They have a detention process right now. That needs to be done away with, okay? Because if I show up late to a location, I get fined, or I get back, I get sent back to the end of the life, okay?
Or they tell me, you come back tomorrow, okay? It's one-sided. This is to be addressed. By Secretary Duffy also. They should not allow two hours of detention.
Okay? Because that creates A chain event, okay? Where now the driver is going to be late. Manager even killed the next appointment.
Okay.
Now this is being addressed because They get lobbied up there in Washington. The palms are Greece. I'm talking about right and left, okay, they're all guilty of it. Because if it weren't, this wouldn't be going on right now. And it's been going on for decades.
Wow.
I vlogged four million miles. accident free. I thank God every day for that. Excellent free. And all the access that I have seen out here, I have a collection of photos Of semi-trucks.
Lay under side. into embankments, into other vehicles. a huge collection of photos that I have. You know, and I don't have a problem talking to Secretary Duffy or anyone else.
Okay, I just think that the phone line should be done, period. And they should reach out to us professionals that have been out here. most of our lives. You know, I I'm sixty five years old, sir. Yeah.
Well, let's hope that the Trump administration, Trump is usually pretty good as a business-minded man to get to the people that are experts in an industry to try and solve what's wrong with the industry to make that happen.
So, I really hope at least that the Trump administration is going to recognize what's going on. And once they get rid of maybe some of the migrants that have been busted in intentionally or the illegal migrants that have been, the foreigners that have come here to try and take a lot of these jobs because of whatever demand that there was, hopefully he can start fine-tuning that system. Like you said, open up a phone line, worry about what the real issues are, and actually get that done. Manny, I appreciate the call, my friend, and thank you for what you do. I mean, you are the backbone of America, and so many truck drivers are.
And we thank you for that. I've, again, I've never driven a truck. I almost did. If I wasn't in radio, I thought about it. I'm going to get my CDL.
I'm going to get my hazmat certification and we're going to make bank doing this, baby, and have some fun driving on the roads because I love road trips.
So that's a, you know, if the radio career doesn't work out, then maybe that's my next step on that one.
So, Manny, thank you for the call very much. 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926. The reform of the truck driving industry and the foreigners being busted to fill those jobs. How do we solve that issue? While we do that, and it's also Halloween Day, of course.
So we're talking about the holidays. We're talking about the culture war that we're seeing right now. We are, of course, just months away from Christmas. Yes, I said the C word, Christmas time already. People are already setting up their decorations.
And already this year, There's a battle against the nativity scene on where it's allowed to go, which we always know it's going to come every year, but the fact that it's happening already blows my mind. Todd again sat down during his Newsmax radio TV program to chat with a few individuals, including Susan Conley with the farmers market, and Garrett Bell, an attorney with First Liberty Institute, to chat about what the latest argument is regarding the nativity scene in certain areas. And this is what they said. Baby Jesus is not welcome in Patascala, Ohio. Susan Conley is in charge of the local farmers market.
Now, this Christmas, she proposed a holiday-themed market complete with a living nativity, but town leaders said absolutely not.
Now comes word of perhaps a Christmas miracle. We'll get to that in just a moment. But joining me now is Susan Conley, the market manager for that farmer's market, and Garrett Bell, an attorney with First Liberty Institute. Susan, first to you.
So tell me about your original idea and what was the reaction from town leaders. We wanted to host a Christmas market in December. We have a summer market that highlights our handmade homegrown crafts and small businesses right in our hometown of Petascala, Ohio. And we just wanted to take a special approach and make sure that we could highlight our vendors at the Christmas time and really bring a special focus to giving people access to the real meaning of Christmas, and that's Jesus.
So we wanted to bring a live nativity in. When we submitted the permit, the city said, everything's great except that live nativity. And so here we are.
So I'm just curious because at that point, a lot of folks would say, all right, it's disappointing, I get it. And you just go on, but you didn't do that. What led you to reach out to First Liberty Institute?
So we've had several years of conversation about holding the nativity on city property and The last several years, we've said, okay, yeah, we'll move on. We'll try and find a place for private property to do this. And this was part of a different public event downtown.
However, for the farmers' markets that we do, we use this same space every year. There is no public property really that's around that we can use. I decided that it was time to really take a look at why we are not allowing this. There are other things that happen. um in that same space that uh have a religious focus so I wanted to pursue why not the nativity.
And here's what Vivek Ramaswamy had to say about it. He's jumping in, of course, running for governor there in Ohio. He said, in recent years, Christianity has been unfairly targeted by secular political leaders. In the future, it could easily be other faiths too, but it's always wrong, unconstitutional, and un-American. Garen, I want to bring you in here.
So, what's happened? I know you guys decided to reach out to the city. Tell us what happened then. Yeah, so we sent a demand letter along with our volunteer attorneys at Jones Day last Friday on October 24th. And we essentially just said we need assurance that Susan will be able to host her live nativity scene alongside the Farmers Market on December 12th.
and we had not received any kind of response from the city. Uh up until today. And we think the VEC's response, we think that it partially encouraged the city to possibly capitulate on this matter. And we've received terrific news that they are now going to allow the live nativity seen alongside the farmers market on December 12th.
Well, I think it's terrific news, and well done to you guys at First Liberty. Garrett, what does the law say about something like this? Because you know there are going to be other towns that try to ban nativity scenes. Always happens this time of year. That's right.
So this is a matter of private speech on a traditional public forum. The Veterans Green is a public park, it is open to the public. And the city often invites other vendors and businesses and local music artists. To come and play live music alongside something like a farmer's market at past Christmas events in the town. They've allowed the Grinch.
Uh Elf on the shelf. Spider-Man, even, and our very own Santa has been present. on this veteran screen. And so it is clearly unconstitutional for them to allow some types of expression. while preventing This Nativity scene simply because it is religious.
And of course, Susan, I gotta tell you, though, the elf on the shelf, that kind of creeps me out. I'm just trying to be real here. But ultimately, Jesus is the reason for the season.
So, how important was it for you that that living nativity happened? It's super important to me. I think part of my call to service. In our community, it is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and giving people access, whether it is Direct access through a live nativity, or just showing kindness and volunteering in ways such as being a market manager. and and being showing kindness and giving them um Access to various events, you know, that those are all different ways that we can show up and serve and volunteer our time and be examples of Christ in the community.
Man, it's so wild to me. I love this arbitrary line that people try and draw. You can do this, but you can't celebrate this. You can expose it. You can't, it's wild.
The culture war continues on, and I want to talk about that when we come back here with your thoughts at 901-260-5926. Andy Hoosier sitting in for the Todd Starns radio program back after this. Welcome back to it. It is the boy, it is the Todd Starnes Radio Program. Great to have you here.
And who's your sitting in for Todd Starns 901-260-5926? The culture war continues, and we see this every holiday season. And it's so absurd. And the fact that you can't put the nativity scene, you can't talk about Jesus Christ. You can't talk about the religious aspect.
I thought that we had. A Right to religious freedom. With the First Amendment.
Now, that means that the government doesn't get to impose it and say this is how you have to believe, this is how you have to worship. Like, we don't have that. We have a separation in that sense, but we have the freedom to exercise our religious beliefs. And if we have the ability to express them, to showcase them, then we have those rights and they continue to try to take those away. But it's an ongoing culture war that we're seeing.
Unfortunately, with my generation, I am 37 as a millennial. I apologize for my generation every single day because sometimes my generation gives us a bad rep. Thanks, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I am told this is a garbage disposal. Yeah, she's leading that culture war for sure, wanting to be the next future leader of the Democrat Party, which, by the way, have you heard?
Not only could be the potential ticket. Of the vice presidential ticket with Kamala Harris in the 2028 presidential race, but she holds a lot of power that even Democrats are starting to admit might be a problem with how bad she is with her rhetoric and with how. Not so bright. She is. Chris Cuomo on, what is it, News Nation where he's at now, made a statement on AOC, really calling her out and saying, hey, if you're going to lead the party, kind of need to clean up your act a little bit.
AOC going after Riley Gates. Look, why do I talk about AOC? She could be. One of the main contenders for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Maybe Vice President of the United States.
She matters. She's got a big following, she's got big charisma, she's got a growing amount of power. And to be In a teenage Trash talking battle with Riley Gaines? Saying she doesn't have a real job, saying if you didn't come in fifth, maybe you wouldn't be so upset. You want to lead the country?
Now, look, I know there's a misplaced sense of muscularity in that right now. Newsome tweeting like Trump, owning him. I get it. that people who don't like what's happening in the country are so desperate for a muscular response, for someone to fight back. But how you do it matters.
Well, how you do it does matter. And of course, the Democrat Party does not have any muscularity. I'm pretty sure it's masculinity, but they don't have any musculinity or masculinity in any fashion because the Democrats, as we mentioned earlier, are completely unrelatable to the American public. Completely unrelatable to the average American, which is why they have Mr. Tough Guy, Gavin Newsome, Mr.
Slick-haired himself, talking all suave, talking all tough. Joe Rogan's not really a big podcast, and I'm tired of trying to deal with these conservatives. Donald Trump's going to run for a third term. And I mean, he tries to be Mr. Tough Guy.
We had. Tim Walls, that was Mr. Tough guy as well, saying that he was going to. Do things and talk really tough and try to be all Mr. Masculine, too, showing up out there with his camo on and wanting to go hunting.
And then he couldn't even figure out how to put the shells into the shotgun. That was pretty funny, if you remember that during the campaign, because he was supposed to appeal to the average American male that is leaving in droves from the Democrat Party. And rightfully so, because we said that they told us forever that the white. R uh male. Was the worst thing on the face of the earth.
Was the detriment to society that we were the problem. In fact, I think I've I don't know if I've said it on Todd's show or not before. My brother, who's about seven years younger than me, he told me when he was in college in Colorado, not going to name the specific college, one of the professors told him specifically That because he is white, he is He is straight. He is male, and that our parents have never broken up and are still together, that he is literally the problem with society. That he was the problem with society because he grew up in a household that wasn't torn apart with the family splitting up.
That was white, that was male, that was straight, and that he was the problem with society. That's what these college professors were telling these kids. And that's insane.
So, yeah, of course, the average male would be leaving in drills from the Democrat Party, and now they're wondering why they don't have it.
So, what do they do? They have to get some kind of tough girl like AOC out there or Jasmine Crockett, who likes to throw around the race card all the time and act really tough and talk tough because she's from the hood in some aspect. That's what they're. trying to show in their masculinity or musculinity, as Chris Cuomo says. It's not working.
It's not working, but hey, if you want to go down that road for your next presidential ticket, ha ha! All the power to you, my friends. We got lots more to get to you. It's Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd Starnes on the Todd Starns radio program. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.
So that's right. I love this American. What is up, America? Welcome into it. It is the Todd Starnes radio program.
Todd Starns out today, though, for his Halloween Friday. I'm thinking that Todd is still out there picking out his Halloween costume for the year.
So we're going to go with that one, but he is out and about. Don't you worry. We got you covered, though. Andy Hoosier sitting in for the great Todd Starnes on the Todd Starnes radio program, moving the Liberty University studios from Memphis, Tennessee, out to Wichita, Kansas. My flagship station, KQAM, Wichita's big talker and a great affiliate of the Todd Starnes radio show.
Happy Halloween. Happy Friday. I love the fact that this lands on a Friday because it is the kickoff of holiday season. It's also kind of sort of semi-kickoff to the weekend as well.
So you get to celebrate there. And now we have the trifecta of holiday mode with Halloween, then All Saints Day Tomorrow, and then Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. And then we hit New Year's and hit the reset button and start all over again. And I don't know if I'm ready for that one yet because then it's the months of the well, I love it. I know people make fun of me for it, and you can too.
It's totally okay. I've accepted my weirdness now, but I enjoy the cold weather. I have said many times before, I'm probably at some point in my life going to have to move to. Montana, move to Alaska. If Donald Trump ever buys Greenland, I'll have to be up there and be the new ambassador for Greenland because I want my summers to be.
50 degrees in the high, 60 degrees, maybe. And then during the wintertime, it like negative 20. And I'm totally okay with that. And I know people call me crazy, but I don't really care. Let's get the full Well, before we start this hour with the program, it's the Todd Starns Radio Show, 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926.
If you want to jump on, as Todd calls it, the Open Line Friday, whatever's on your mind and you want to talk about today, are you decorated for Halloween? Are you set for the Halloween celebration? Are you wearing the costumes? I did not wear a costume this year, although I do have on my traditional, or traditional, I have on my Bigfoot and UFO alien shirt today.
So it's a little weird. We're still trying to get some information on the three-eye Atlas to see if aliens are going to come and eat our brains or something here in the next few days.
So we're watching that. We'll maybe cover some of that on the program today because it's a Friday. Why the heck not? But for those that don't know as well, I don't know if I've told the story on Todd's show. I grew up in a little town of Bailey, Colorado, known as it's up in the mountains, about an hour west of Denver.
Now it's almost a suburb of Denver with how crazy Colorado is. And I grew up in Bailey. Bailey, Colorado, of people that don't know, even though it's a very small town, is the number one place in the entire state of Colorado for the most amount of sightings of Bigfoot. Yeah, Dylan, jump on here for a minute. Do you believe in Bigfoot?
I know you do. Yeah, well, I. I think I do. You think you do.
Okay.
Well, yeah.
So we celebrate and we actually have like a Bigfoot store there in Bailey and we like to do Bigfoot hunts and yeah, it's pretty fun.
So I'm representing today with my Bigfoot and alien shirts for Halloween. I think it's relatively appropriate. I did not, though. Dress up with my Halloween costume. Totally all right.
What are you dressing up as? Because I've heard some rumors that we are seeing individuals dressing up as ICE agents. We're seeing people dress up as FBI agents or even doing some bad things in the communities. That's where we start off with some headlines going on. And, Dylan, again, keep me apprised if you're seeing any audio or anything breaking here.
There's some breaking news going on today that was released just about an hour or two ago. This one hat tip to NBC News on this. But the FBI apparently. Sworting and stopping a terrorist attack. That was planned for this weekend in Detroit, Michigan, or around the Detroit area as a quote potential terrorist attack that was planned for Halloween weekend, according to KBI director Cash Patel.
Now, they have not done a press conference on this, and we do not know a lot of information.
So, as it comes out, we'll try and get that out to you. But hat tip to NBC saying the FBI arrested multiple suspects. Who are allegedly plotting a foiled, quote, potential terrorist attack in Michigan for the Halloween weekend. In a statement from Cash Patel, they say, quote, this morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who are allegedly plotting a violent attack over the Halloween weekend. And that post, by the way, done on the Tweety or on X.
They say that four senior law enforcement officials familiar with the case said the FBI in Detroit apprehended the group of young individuals and going into custody today who are plotting for some form of attack with possible references to Halloween. And I guess Halloween would be an appropriate time when everybody is in a Halloween costume and covering themselves up, and we don't know who anybody is.
Now, here's the thing. And again, we don't know any more information about this, we don't know what they were planning. We don't know how they were planning it, but they know that they were planning the event with the arrest occurring in Dearborn and in Inkster, Michigan, saying that they were able to monitor the group of greater Detroit area in the past several days at a minimum to make sure no actual attack really happens with high alert in that vicinity. I would be somewhat sceptical of this. unless if it were now with the uh leaders in the administration that we currently have.
What do I mean by that?
Well, as you know, that the past few years under the Biden administration, even prior to, we're getting more and more information about how law enforcement at the federal level, CIA, FBI, that they have been ones that have loved to Create issues by instigating potential terrorist attacks on individuals or domestic attacks on people or hijacking and trying to actually kidnap, you know, the governor of Michigan, or doing even in Kansas where I'm at, in western Kansas, a little town of Garden City, Kansas, there was a potential terrorist attack from what they said was a group of militant individuals. Wanting to bomb an apartment complex that had Somali refugees in there. And the Somali. I've lived in Garden City. The Somali refugees are harmless.
They're nice people. There's really no issue there whatsoever. But there was a group of potential militant individuals who were planning on bombing that apartment complex. Come to find out, like three of the individuals that were instigating it were FBI agents undercover, leading these people to actually cause the crime. We found out about the hijack or the kidnapping attempt of Governor Whitmer in the state of Michigan.
Being like five or six different, again, FBI agents that were undercover instigating two people to do it.
So that way they could arrest them and say, Look here, we have a bunch of right-wing extremists clinging to their guns and their Bibles that are going to be causing issues and wanting to harm Democrats. We have the weaponization. Of the law enforcement agencies against the American people by having undercover operations instigating. The crimes, and then saying that, well, haha, we were able to get the bad guys.
Now that we're seeing this issue with Cash Patel, he's openly said we're not doing types of. Um um actions like that. We're not going to try and go after American people. We're not going to try and make American citizens cause crimes because that's not the duty of law enforcement. And Cash Mattell's openly said we're going to let good cops be cops and actually stop bad guys.
And it starts with the local law enforcement. And again, with the little bit of information that we know about this situation in Michigan, thank God they were able to stop it. Thank God that local law enforcement was able to do their job. And thank God the FBI was on duty to make sure that we stopped this and that hopefully we prevented a potential. terrorist attack in the city of Detroit and the state of Of Michigan, because God forbid, if this would have happened, I mean, who knows what type of response?
Just speculate for just a moment. And say something like this happened. Because you know the Democrats never let a crisis go to waste. You know the progressives never let a crisis go to waste. You know the Democrats, in their ongoing hatred against President Donald Trump, would have made some type of remark about how it was in a metropolitan area.
It was during trick-or-treating with kids are out. There's a whole bunch of minority communities around. And therefore, it was probably a MAGA individual that went out there and wanted to harm some type of community wherever this bomb or something or whatever they had planned would have gone off or happened. And you know the political twisting, the pretzel that the mainstream media and Democrats twist themselves into. At the same time, we have the snap benefits ending this weekend.
And if the snap benefits are ending, there's people on social media, the trends right now on TikTok: hey, if we don't get our snap benefits, we're going to go into grocery stores and fill up our carts and just walk on out. We're going to rob people in the grocery store parking lots after you've gotten your grocery stores. We're going to break into your homes and just loot food with whatever we want because we are credited. We are owed. The food stamps.
We are owed our social programs from the federal government. And if you don't give it to us, then we're just going to take what's deserving of ours. Which is the mentality right now. And it would have played into what could potentially happen this weekend.
So there's high alerts on law enforcement all over the nation, anyways. But this would have just topped it off with the icing on the cake. And thank God that we have law enforcement that's able to actually prevent something like this. And at least to me, maybe you feel differently. And you're more than welcome to tell me at 901-260-5926 that maybe we have law enforcement that I now trust more, not completely, but at least trust more so than what we have in the past with prior administrations to know that maybe, just maybe.
It's not the FBI saying, well, hey, look at us, we've done something really good. Because I actually did this time. And it's not just a political show. It's not just a game of politics, which is what we've seen for a while. It's scary out there, and it's unfortunate we even have to be concerned about these issues.
But when we have freedom. We endorse local law enforcement. When we have freedom, we don't have the government breathing down our neck, and we can stop potential crimes or people wanting to harm our communities at a local level, and that's what the system's all about, right? And that's why we love conservatism, limited government, and a lack of a police state, unless the local law enforcement is unable to do. What they need to do to clean up the streets, and that's why we have.
National Guard. ICE agents, the Trump administration finally saying, hey, enough's enough. We're going to stop business. Bad guys, not everybody, but bad guys. Agree, disagree.
I want to hear from you. 901-260-5926. When we come back, Todd sat down during his Newsmax TV program with Congressman Mark Harris about Arctic Frost. Have you heard that one? And it leads right into the idea of law enforcement going after conservatives, deeming Republicans as domestic terrorists, wanting to surveil elected officials that voted for Donald Trump and supported Donald Trump.
It's the same FBI back then that was calling parents that were showing up to school boards as domestic terrorists. and part of an ongoing Biden administration. That said, anybody that voted Republican was essentially a domestic terrorist and a threat to the democracy of America. That's where we go here for our Halloween episode on the Todd Search Radio program. Back right after this.
Welcome back to the Todd Starns Radio Show. Andy, who's your sitting in today for Todd Starns on an open line Friday at 901-260-5926? Arctic Frost, the conspiracy, the government program to censor, to watch, to surveil Republicans, conservatives, MAGA supporters, the threats to democracy as we know it. The ones wanting to, as Barack Obama would so rightly say, fundamentally change the United States of America, which is what he tried to do and what we're trying to get rid of and get back to.
Well, normalcy and common sense. Todd talked about this as well on his Newsmax TV show as he recently chatted with Congressman Mark Harris from the 8th District of North Carolina, discussing Arctic frost and where we're at with this investigation. Joining me now, Congressman Mark Harris, a Republican from North Carolina. Congressman, your reaction to this news: more than 400 Republican individuals, including Musemax, spied on. Thank you for having me this afternoon.
This is an absolute tragedy. Uh, and really, the greatest example that we have seen of again where lawfare has stepped in. And in this particular case, as Senator Cruz so clearly put it, you have a judge that is going after United States senators claiming that they are going to destroy evidence, and there is no basis of fact whatsoever. And listen, any judge that would turn a political witch hunt on our United States senators needs to be held accountable. And I feel like that is critical at this juncture.
So, at what point are we actually going to get justice here? We've seen in years past lots of investigations, lots of righteous indignation, but really we've never seen anything come of this in the way of people being held accountable.
Well, I think it's obviously a process that has to be followed. I think that probably the impeachment of this judge, Boesberg, is something. That is probably in order, and you're going to see the paperwork and things file in the days ahead that will bring this to a head.
Now, again, what we do in the United States House and what they do in the United States Senate, as all of America is watching during this government shutdown, again demonstrates the slowness of the wheels moving in Washington, D.C. And so I think we have to continue to work the process. We have to continue to call things, put spotlights on things when we can, and then begin the activity that is necessary in getting these bills filed and beginning in the process that is involved. Congressman, speaking of slow wheels, day 30 of the Schumer shutdown, late this afternoon, the vice president calling out Democrats and accused them of holding the American people hostage. Let's take a listen.
I just want to say to any Democrat in the United States Senate, we are happy to talk about any policy issue. We're happy to talk about health care policy. We're happy to talk about tax policy. We're happy to talk about regulatory policy, but not at the point of a gun. Here is our very simple proposal to the Democrats.
Let's sit down and come to a compromise and work it out. And you know what the Democrats' response to that is? Give us everything we want, or we're going to shut down the government and keep it shut down. That is not reasonable behavior. That's not how you do compromise.
in this town. That is the way that the Democrats have operated. They are trying to take a hostage and we can't reward that behavior. If we do that, If we say yes, of course, we'll give you everything that you want if you reopen the government. You know what's going to happen?
In three months, they're going to come back to the administration and they're again going to say, we're going to shut down the aviation industry. We're going to deny people SNAP benefits unless you give us exactly what you want. That's how a child behaves. Yeah, Congressman, what do you say to that? I think the vice president is spot on.
I think he is delivering the message that has been so consistent for the last 30 days. We have said it again and again and again. Open the government. Do not hold the American people hostage. He's using those key phrases that are so important because that's exactly what has happened.
We did our job. The United States House of Representatives voted on September 19th. Republicans, along with the Democrat, voted to pass a clean CR and we sent it over to the Senate in order to avoid a shutdown. Chuck Schumer grabbed hold of it and listen over these 30 days it's become clearer and clearer to the American people. They're even saying the quiet part out loud now.
It's leverage. They realize they have nothing to do to try to stop President Trump and the successes that he's having with his America First Agenda. And so they've looked for anything and they're using this pain and I mean pain that is Is being placed on the American people. And we're about to see even more pain in these days ahead. And we've got to speak up and we've got to speak out.
I'm so proud that Republicans are holding so consistently strong, and we've got to continue to hold the line. All right, Congressman, one final note here. You wrote an op ed in The Blaze, the FDA's deadly betrayal of ProLife America. How exactly did the FDA betray ProLife America?
Well, we've been sharing the concern about this dangerous drug, nephepristrone, and really the problem that there is in America today when many 63% of the abortions performed are using this deadly drug, and many of them are able to go and get this drug through their mailbox by simply walking from their home to the mailbox, picking it up. They're not having the kind of medical supervision that's needed for this. It's dangerous to women. It's 100% deadly to the baby. And it's a serious drug.
The FDA just approved a generic of this, which is even more concerning at the availability. We need to be focusing more on protecting women. And this is going to be a crucial time right now. All right.
So that was Mark Harris sitting down with Todd during his Newsmax TV program, Congressman from the great state of North Carolina. Did you notice the two and how they work together between the government shutdown, the temper tantrum of the children that are the Democrat Party right now, and of course the operation of Arctic Frost? Democrats have always had a history that if we don't get everything that we want, if we don't get to do everything that we want policy-wise or politically or gaining power or centralizing power or creating new agencies and departments, if we don't get everything that we want, then we are going to throw a temper tantrum and shut it down and eliminate our political opponents, which is why they're openly advocating for the people to suffer during this government shutdown and ending social benefits while saying. They're fighting for benefits. And if they lose power because of an election and people don't want their policies, then they just spy on us.
And they go after us and they try to silence us. And it's not going to happen any longer, which is why thank God we're on top of this. Lots more coming up for the Todd Starns radio program. Stay here. Welcome back to it.
It is the Todd Cearns Radio Show. Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd Cearns today on a Halloween episode of a Friday, an open line Friday. It's an what is it here? It's an open line Halloween Friday. I kind of like that.
We get to talk about some spooky stuff, kind of like the government spying on American citizens. That's spooky, right? That's kind of scary. Yeah. I'm a little terrified about that.
Government spying on American people, saying that we're just a bunch of domestic terrorists. That's what we had to deal with under the Biden administration. And thank God that we are now reforming and cleaning up the law enforcement agencies now under Cash Patel, under Pam Bondi, under President Donald Trump. And with the news, we're still following. The uh stopped Terrorist attack potential.
Terrorist attack that was planned in the Detroit area this weekend for Halloween weekend.
So we'll keep you apprised on that one. 901-260-5926, 901-260-5926. If you want to chat with us on the Halloween episode, what are you dressing up for as Halloween? Or are you going trick-or-treating with some of the spooky types of decorations that you've had? Or are you having issues with your decorations?
The culture war. That continues on in society. But we are coming up not only for the holiday weekend and the trifecta of the holiday season that is starting, but now we're also. Getting ready for election day. Is it here?
What? I know. If you're not aware, bulletin for you. Election day's on Tuesday next week in your local community, city councils and school boards, a lot of races that affect you on a local basis at the local level. And that's kind of important.

And if you have not checked out the website, Highly recommend you do. Because they rank candidates even at the local levels for you in your community on what your candidates say, where their ratings are for conservatism or for freedom index, and us to get ready because the voter turnout for off-season elections relatively low.
It's unfortunate. We see for city council school board races in certain communities anywhere between like 5 to 15 percent voter turnout. And that's kind of sad, but that means that every vote counts, right? Because one vote could make a difference. There's been many cases where one or two votes actually make the deciding factor on some of these elections.
But where do those candidates stand? What do they believe in? And of course, what's going on with some of the bigger races in the nation, as we sat down with Debbie Woothnow with the American Family Association and iVotorGuide.com. Debbie, how are you, my friend? I'm doing well.
How are you, Andy? Doing great. I thank you for coming on here. What a crazy time it is. And I never thought, number one, we would see this type of radicalization in a place like New York, even though it is very Democrat.
But the state of politics, the state of the Democrat Party right now, this is turning out to be kind of a heated election season this year. It's a lot more you know, a lot of people don't even know there's elections this year.
So it it's very it's just amazing. And it's a microcosm, I think, of what what New York City is a microcosm of what's going on in the Democratic Party. And it's just gotten blown up so much that the whole world can watch and see what's going on. Yeah, let's talk about it for just a moment here. Zoran Momdani is the frontrunner right now.
The polymarkets that we see leading up to the last few days show that he's got about an 80% chance of winning this election. We've seen the bickering amongst other Democrats, you know, with Cuomo and some others in that area. But at the end of the day, how in the world did someone like Momdani gain so much traction so quickly in the city of New York?
Well, we know it's always been a a liberal Democratic area. I think we look at, you know, AOC came out of New York.
So that was kind of the glimpse of it. And you know what's going on in education? There's just the younger generation is. You know, not in favor of capitalism. They're becoming socialists, and he represents the democratic socialists.
So it's uh it's really it It's sad for me as a conservative, traditional American to see what's going on, but I think it's giving the rest of us a glimpse of what's going on in the younger generation and in the interstate and in the cities across America. Yeah, it's unfortunate, especially with a place like New York. Usually, and we've heard this theory, and I don't know if it's just people trying to come to terms with what's about to happen with just saying, Well, we need a reminder of how bad socialism is.
So, you know what, let it happen. And we have to do go through this process every couple of generations or something just to remind people what it's all about and how bad socialism really is, which I get, Debbie. But at the same time, we're in the financial heartland of the world, the biggest financial city of the world with the most amount of millionaires and billionaires, with a guy that's running for office that wants to ban billionaires altogether, transfer wealth. To minority communities, transfer taxes to white people in different suburb areas of New York City. I mean, this is like completely opposite of what the city is supposed to be about.
Well, it's like It's a generational difference. The billionaires, maybe some of them are supporting Mandami, but I see it as the young AOC, college-age, 30-something, 40-something that feel like they can't pay their rent, they can't do anything. Let them give it to me for free. And that's what they're enthusiastically supporting. I mean, that the Fox poll yesterday said the enthusiasm of Mondami voters is seventy eight percent compared to fifty two percent for Cuomo.
So they're just on fire about getting free stuff. And It's just sad. And we're just gonna have to see what happens in New York City because it's going to, as you said. It's going to be a story the rest of us watch of if socialism gets in there. you know, hopefully the rest of us will it it'll get bad enough that maybe there'll be a swing back to Common sense.
Yeah, let's go a little bit wider. Let's say if Mom Donnie gets in, which it sounds like he's going to by next week, what does this mean for other parts of the country and other races? Do you see this igniting a fire of other socialists saying, hey, if Mom Donnie can do it in New York City, we can do it here. And are we going to start seeing cells of socialism spur up in some of these other larger cities around the nation at a time right now when we have us almost getting back to normal with the Trump administration, with actually getting rid of bureaucracy, getting rid of the government oversight, and actually bringing us back to common sense? Are we starting to see a socialist revolution around the country?
I think there's a possibility of it in certain places. I know we look at the squad, those representatives, those areas, the areas they represent. Um I You know, it could happen. I think it's the rest of us that need to wake up and get as on fire as the left is. And start to participate.
So, you know, at iVoterGuide, we used to just rate candidates from conservative to liberal, and with all the socialists and the Marxists. That are coming out, we had to add a rating called Far Left to just really shine a light on how far left the Democratic Party has gone. They've just shown. shifted the whole spectrum. Of policies.
And because we are seeing it in California, in Minnesota, in New York. It is happening and we all just need to wake up to what's going on, start talking about it with our friends and our neighbors, our family.
So they see, you know, as you said, every generation kind of goes through a little You know, if I talk about communism, socialism, capitalism, what's the better system? And every time we've tried socialism, it's failed.
So, you know, hopefully that will happen again this time. I really hope so. As a 37-year-old millennial, I apologize for my generation because we are nuts sometimes and it's absolutely insane. You mentioned our favorite person, AOC. I'm told this is a garbage disposal.
Our favorite person that we like to talk about for sure. She is right now in speculation to either challenge Chuck Schumer for the Senate race, which is why we're seeing possibly the government shutdown and Chuck Schumer wanting to flex his muscles right now, saying that he still has some political capital that's not working out for him, but that's what he's trying. We've also heard the rumor that she could potentially be a vice presidential candidate ticket with Kamala Harris. Debbie, you mentioned where the state of the Democrat Party is right now, but if we have a Kamala AOC ticket in 2028, what the heck would that look like? Uh I You know what?
I think there's a lot of people leaving the Democratic Party because they feel like the Democratic Party has left them. by shifting so far left. I mean, we're seeing literally New York, it's the moderate Democrats. the the Cuomos, the you know, whatever, versus the Mondamis. I think that it would just end to me, my view, the Nikolai Party would just lose even more people.
They'll keep those activists, those young.
socialist activists, but I think that the percentage of most Americans Are gonna see the craziness, and that this is not gonna be good for my family and good for me to work and get ahead in life. And that I think it'll just. Continue to see the rise of the Republicans and conservatives. Yeah, but Debbie, according to Kamala, she said she is the most qualified person that's ever run for president, ever, ever. And I mean, that right now.
We know Kamala doesn't lie, but she tells the truth about everything. That's right.
That's right.
It is insane. We're talking about Debbie Wooth now. She's the president of iVoterGuide, iVoterGuide.com, also a part of the American Family Association. Let's shift gears to the Virginia race, the Attorney General's race. This one also had a bit of drama leading up to it.
The Democrat candidate in this race having some leaked text messages about wanting to put bullets in the heads of Republicans or something really crazy. Didn't drop out of the race. And in fact, Other Democrats not advocating for him to drop out of the race, either saying that's not really him. Is this going to hurt him? What do you think is going to happen here?
Oh my gosh. Virginia is just as crazy as New York. It seems like for a while, you know, several of the races there. We just are going to have to. People need to double down so people say Things they don't intend.
But some of those just cross the line. to do the research, really look at reasoned actions that candidates have taken. Get your personalized voter guide because Virginia's got that race is crazy, the AG race is active, the governor's race is key. And you really need to look at what they've done. And I would encourage and point people back to ivotorguide.com before you vote, not just for that race in Virginia, but because there are local races that are also on your ballot where you need to know what those candidates are going to do.
And we're covering school board races in several counties in Virginia. including in Loudoun County.
So go get your personalized ballot and see what all of the candidates are going to say and do because You know, sometimes what they say, what the news stories don't paint the full picture. And we encourage people to be informed and vote on all the issues with a big picture. Yeah, well, that's a great point. I mean, during the last debate, we saw for the governor's race in New Jersey, again, a special election coming up in the New Jersey race, that Democrat, Mikey Sherelle, Sheryl, Mikey Sheryl, I think her name is, she has made the comment that she's going to be cutting taxes. I always find it ironic, Debbie, that a lot of Democrats in races where they're either purple districts or even just trying to appeal to the general masses, knowing that the vast majority of Americans are center or center right for the most part, they talk about cutting taxes, relieving the middle class of individuals from their tax burdens, which sounds great.
That's a Republican talking point, but they say it, they try to use it, and then they do the opposite when they actually get into power. And that's what we're seeing right now with both the AG's race for Virginia and the governor's race in New Jersey. Right, so they candidates know what voters want to hear, and they'll say it, but they may not mean it.
So that's why we exist because we have to look at what they've done and what they've done in the past and really see through the rhetoric. to the actions and their principles. What's their heart? What's driving them? And just 'cause they they you know, conservatives will sometimes say things and do something different as well.
It's not just on the Democratic Party.
So I really I'm a strong believer in looking at actions and doing the research and being informed. And that's why we exist. Yeah, absolutely. Have you seen any type of early polls in any of these races outside of the New York City race on what this could look like for the turnout Tuesday? The only one I've I've I know I only saw the New York and turnout's way up in up in New York, so I don't I haven't watched what it's going on, have you?
No, no, I mean, outside of the New York one where I've saw that, yeah, he's got like an 80, 90% chance of winning. I I don't know. I'm completely out of loop on the AG rate. Typical turnout typical turnout would be much lower than than what we're seeing in New York. Typical turnout's gonna be in the, you know, 10, 20% of voters.
I I just realized I need to go early vote. I'm in Texas and we Some ballot measures on, like, oh my gosh, I'm going to be out of town on election day.
So, um, yeah, there's stuff going on all across the nation, even if it's school boards, their ballot measures, or you know, New Jersey and Virginia have got their legislative elections. Uh, we just Yeah, I'm my concern is That It becomes these become turnout elections. And if the Democrats are more enthusiastic in turning out those little activist agend Zers. You know, we'll we'll see the direction it goes. We need, you know, common sense, reasonable people also to trap the polls that have conservative values to.
You know, hopefully get government that represents conservative.
Well, and that's exactly it. You mentioned it. I mean, outside of these big races that we're following, there are the majority are city council, our school board, and Debbie, as you know, and that's why iVoterGuide's there for to help people. I mean, these are the elections that matter. These are the ones that have the biggest impact on our regular life.
And we only get like a 10 to 15% voter turnout on those, which makes me a little concerned.
Well, and sometimes It's as low as six percent. It's just shocking how few people participate in those local and school boards. I mean, you live in Wichita, you know, you've got city council and school board on your ballot this year. Texas has got some of it as well. And I'm excited that we're actually covering a bunch of your city council and school board races at ivotordead.com.
But yeah, yeah, people don't participate. And part of it is, you know, they're like, eh, it doesn't affect me. But you know what? Your tax rate is set by the city council and the school board. At least mine is in Texas.
What your children are taught are set by those people. They impact your life much more greatly than what happens in Washington and the Congress or the Senate.
So, yeah, I really encourage people to get involved, to pledge to vote every time, and go to ivotorguide.com before you vote. There it is. Debbie Wutha now, ivotorguide.com. As the election's right around the corner coming up next week, are you ready? Have you voted?
And we need to make sure that we get everybody out to vote. Republican enthusiasm to get out to the bowling place this year. Been a little slow, been a little crazy.
So we got to get out there and get excited for these upcoming elections. Got to take a break. Your thoughts on this some more when we come back around here for the Todd Starns radio program. Welcome back to a Todd Starns radio program on a Halloween Friday. Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd Starns today.
He'll be back at it on Monday. Also, check out his Newsmax TV program. You can find all this information at ToddStarnes.com and see his great books, all the programs that he's doing, and so much more. Thanks again to Debbie Woothnow on the program. The iVoter Guide is super interesting.
And as we get ready for Election Day on Tuesday, here we go. The socialist takeover of New York City. The socialist revolution. Viva la revolution. Is apparently what we're looking at in the city of New York with Zoran Mamdani as a little bit of a throwback on a Friday.
This is one of the videos he's made as being the socialist advocate that he is, almost like how Barack Obama was a community organizer. Zoran Mamdani has been a socialist activist in the community with no real qualifications or experience, but by golly, he has ideas like, well, getting rid of cops and jails and stuff. The way that prisons are set up in our society, I would argue that they do not work, they do not make us safe. Instinct is to just. take that person, the source of that harm, the source of that issue, and then just throw them away.
Put them in a cage and throw away the key. Mm. And that doesn't address the reason why that harm was created in the first place. A lot of times, people who create trauma for others are those who themselves went through trauma earlier in their own lives. And I bring all of this up to say that You know, again, like when we talk about policing, I don't think the system actually makes us safer.
I think what it does is it just removes problems out of view.
Well, there you have it. Apparently, just putting people in jail is not the issue here, and that doesn't make us any safer. And they're victims of society because of the environment that they've grown up in, which to a degree we can have a conversation about, I guess. But at the end of the day, he's essentially saying we don't punish people. We just accept that they've lived in a different environment.
They have a different upbringing.
So, therefore, they're victims of the oppressive regime of the United States and the authoritarianism that Donald Trump has. And obviously, now that he has a new crown, then he truly is the king and authoritarian for the nation. And that we are just victims of society.
So, if you commit a crime, it's not because you're doing something bad, it's just because you're a victim. That that works right. That works right. Come on. Please tell me that works right.
Back after this. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee. It's America's conservative blowtorch. That's us, that's right. I love this American ride.
Todd Starns. Oh, yeah. Yeah, baby, it is the Todd Starns Radio program. What is up, my friends? Welcome into it.
Happy Friday. Happy Halloween. As we move through your Halloween Friday episode of the Todd Starns Radio Show, Todd is out today, back at it before you know it. You can also check out his Newsmax TV program. But yours truly, Andy Hoosier, sitting in the seat today, moving the Liberty University studios from Memphis, Tennessee, out to Wichita, Kansas, where I hail from on my flagship station, Wichita's Big Talker KQAM, a great affiliate of the Todd Starns Radio Show.
And that being said, happy Halloween. Dylan that I do get on that that I scare everybody. Yeah, I'm terrified over here. I'm terrified. Shaking in the boots.
That's right.
Happy Halloween to everyone out there. If you celebrate it, don't celebrate. Going trick-or-treating, whatever you do, or just ready for the festive holiday season. We're now in Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and tis the beginning of the end of 2025 or the end of the world. I don't really know.
Have we had an update on the 3i Atlas? We're waiting on the alien invasion for those eating our brains. We will have, by the way, some updates on that at the bottom of the hour and chat about some from the political slant of government cover-ups of super duper secrets. Like UFOs and higher intelligence. Is the government keeping secrets, and why in the world are they doing so?
So we will get to that. Speaking of higher intelligence, there's a level, there's a spectrum, right? There's always a spectrum of. Higher intelligence people, and then like the mass crowds in the middle of the spectrum, and then the ones that are on the lower end of the spectrum, which we don't usually like to talk about that because then it's offensive to certain people and they get all worked up like certain individuals. I'm not going to name any names.
I am told this is a garbage disposal. I mean, you got a spectrum, right? There's a certain particular spectrum, and watching where the state of the Democrat Party is is kind of fun to watch where that spectrum's going because, in my opinion, it's going in the wrong direction. Have you seen the interview? With Kamala Harris sitting down with a reporter and talking about, again, this weird.
Die-hard defense of the Biden administration and how Joe Biden was running his administration and being the leader of the free world. And while Kamala Harris is out there on her book tour, the 107 days, and how difficult it was for her to run for president last minute, but yet at the same time, how great that she is, how she's the most qualified person to ever run for president, ever, ever. And then, of course, saying that Joe Biden was still a great person and that there was no reason why he should have been kicked out of the presidential race and why she had to fill that seat. She's trying to walk that fine line because she doesn't want to burn the bridge. And it really shows that.
On that spectrum of intelligence, on where she might lay on that. That is a world-class pivot, but it is not the question. Before, okay, before we, we gotta preface this a little bit.
So it's really funny to listen to the audio. It's even better to watch the video if you can find it. The blank stare. That she gets, and they've been asked about the question of: was there any sign? of Joe Biden deteriorating.
With him jumping out last minute to throw her in the race. And was it fair for her to jump into the race so last minute because of the depreciating value of Joe Biden's mental state? That is a world-class pivot, but it is not the question that I asked you, which is about Joe Biden's. Failure to recognise his own frailties and what that did to you. The question is about.
Joe Biden, are you still reluctant to criticise the former President? In what regard, please?
Well, just in terms of that question. Exactly would you like to ask? Be more specific, if you don't mind. Was it Joe Biden's decision, his failure to recognize his own frailties in that position that put you in the position that made it almost impossible to win that race? He was not frail as President of the United States.
But he had frailties. We all saw the debate. Yeah. Dead stare. Absolutely nothing.
First off, I enjoyed the attempted accent because, as you know, she's one of those morphing. What is it? The chameleons, the morphing chameleons, where they can change the colors. Yeah, she was just like Hillary Clinton, like that, where she all of a sudden had accents throughout the different parts of the country that she's in or who she was talking to.
So, talking to this, I'm assuming, British individual that was asking her about the mental state of Joe Biden. Joe Biden, are you still reluctant to criticize the former president? In what regard, please?
In what regards, please? Oh, please tell me. What regards are you talking about with Joe Biden not quite being in the mental state that we need to be? And then she gets really angry. She gets kind of the angry woman mentality.
Which exactly would you like to ask? What do you want to be more specific if you don't mind? I tell you, man, she's just all over the place trying to cover the gamut, trying to cover the Jasmine Crockett crowd, trying to cover the high-palo. Hey, it's Joe Biden. What exactly are we talking about here?
And then just the blank stare when asked, what do you want? What was the mental state of Joe Biden? What are you talking about? He was totally in his right mind. I'm taught you can't win.
That argument. And if that's the stance you're going to take, trying to walk that fine line, it is going to be a miserable failure for you for sure. 901-260-5926. 901-260-5926. Watching the state of the Democrat Party.
But that leads us to this weekend. And I really want to hear from you on Todd Starnes' Open Line Friday here on the Todd Starnes Radio Show on tomorrow. The first day. Of the ending of SNAP benefits, the ending of food stamps for many Americans, the near 40 million Americans across the nation. That is.
A lot. That's almost an entire voter base. Just to put that into perspective for you, usually for a presidential run. We have anywhere between 40 to 60, 70 million Americans that. Vote for one presidential candidate or another.
So that is almost an entire voter base. And I can only imagine which side of the aisle that voter base is coming from that's going to be missing out on their snap benefits.
Now, there have been trends on social media, and I don't know. Dylan, does Todd have a TikTok account? I don't know that he has TikTok. He's a freshly TikTok user, actually. Oh, a fresh TikTok user.
All right.
Well, go follow Todd Starnes on TikTok and try and get his algorithm. I will say, I don't know how mine, which, if you want to find mine, it's at Who's Your Reason. Please do, by the way, too, because I somehow got put on liberal TikTok.
So, all the video clips of my show that I put on there, I get berated by very angry people all the time. And it gives me good numbers, but there are never any positive comments on my feed. It's all liberal crazies that are just really angry with the stuff that I post on there.
So, TikTok is one of those, you have to find the right algorithm for sure, but. I've been scrolling through because I enjoy TikTok personally. I know it's a younger generation thing. I'm totally trying to stay hip with the young kids. It's what I do, you know.
But. There are a lot of Right now, of people that say if they do not receive their snap benefits this weekend. They are not afraid to walk in. fill up their carts with food and walk out without paying because my golly they deserve it. And the government's going to pay for their food, and no one's going to tell them otherwise.
And if the government won't provide that for them, they're just going to go do it themselves. There's also been rumors of those that are going to loot and rob people walking out of grocery stores with already purchased groceries trying to walk to their vehicles.
So. Just as an FYI this weekend, happy Halloween to you. You might want to conceal, carry, or protect yourself in some aspect there because who knows what could happen this weekend if the angry looters get out of hand. They also talk about breaking into vehicles and breaking into homes in order to go through cabinets and find what they can. Because if they don't get the free health care or the free food, then they're going to find a way to get it for free, anyways.
And that's mentality that we have. And while there is a concern of those who legitimately need something like the food stamp programs. Can we please have a conversation on why 40 million Americans are on food stamps in the first place? That's insane. Wouldn't that need a major reform?
And I've seen some of the numbers. There's close to half of those people that probably don't need it. Many of them that are illegal, many of them who are just foreigners and migrants that just come over, and the government's like, hey, come on over, we'll give you some food stamps. Why the heck not? And that's where we're at.
And if we can start weeding this down, I always, I'm the eternal optimist. I always see the glass half full that if we don't have food stamps going out right now and the program is temporarily frozen, this would be a great opportunity for us to maybe do some reforms on these SNAP benefits to where we can try and get people off of them and onto different programs or off of them and into the workforce or off of them and into other opportunities where they don't need it to provide for their family. Because I'm sure you know, as the great listeners of the Todd Stearns radio program and business owners around the country that listen to this program as well, that I'm sure that you know. Here may be a news flash for some on the other side of the aisle. Minimum wage was not supposed to be livable on to provide for an entire family.
I that is Conspiracy theory number one of the day today for Halloween and scaring the pants off to the other side of the aisle. Minimum wage was never supposed to be a wage that you completely are self-sustaining and provide for an entire family on. It is an entry-level position to work your way up, to have the better opportunities, to live the American dream, to see the streets paved with gold and the opportunity for all for you to work your way up that ladder and to make a good living for yourself. To gain that experience, to get your foot in the door, and to work out. It's never supposed to be like, hey, I found it, and I'm plateauing from here on out.
I mean, if you want to, that's cool, but. Realize that that's not going to provide for your entire life, for your whole life. It's not going to happen. And that's where we're at. If we just work the bare minimum, we make a little bit of cash, but yet we still qualify for the food stamps.
There are a lot of Americans that have that mentality. And I think that's the opportunity that we can work on to start changing right now for sure.
So here's what I ask you today at 901-260-5926. With the government shutdown now for 31 days, we're at the end of October. We're about ready to start November with the ending of the SNAP benefits until this gets resolved. What in your life has been affected? And I'm asking even federal employees who may have been laid off.
Maybe those that have been fired. Maybe those that have been furloughed because of the Trump administration's already cut near 4,000 workers.
So, with the 4,000 workers that are no longer working, Outside of your personal life, then obviously you're trying to find a new job during the holidays. And yeah, that sucks. I'm sorry. But guess what? You're a federal public employee that's being paid for.
by taxpayer funds, I would think that You know, okay, now's the opportunity for you to get into the private sector and have something a bit more sustainable and reliable. But outside of that, the services themselves. What has been affected with less workers at the federal level? during the government shutdown when we've laid off 4,000 people from four different agencies. including, by the way, the Federal Department of Education.
School's still going on. Kids are still in school. The local school boards are still working. The state boards of education are still working. The state superintendents are still working.
Everything's still functioning in the education. Agencies, but yet we've laid off a lot of different people from the federal department of education.
So, what has actually been affected? What's major? Because as far as I'm aware. Not a whole lot of anything. Not a whole lot of anything at all.
In fact, there's a headline from Ryan Walters on Fox News with the title of The Government Shutdown Exposed the Biggest Lie in Education. If you don't know who Ryan Walters is, he is the former state superintendent. For the state of Oklahoma in their public education system. He recently left, working for a different organization now, and wrote this op-ed and this opinion piece in Fox News that teachers' unions and Randy Weingarten misled Americans about federal agencies' importance for decades. And he's spot on with this article, if you want to read it on Fox News, that talks about right now the government shut down, federal employees aren't working, and yet we still have education that's moving on.
So what's the purpose of them being there in the first place? If we have all these thousands upon thousands of workers in the Federal Department of Education, they got to be doing something. But if they're not working and being laid off right now, and yet we still somehow have a public education system that's cranking along, what does that mean? Is that we don't need them. Hit again.
The exposing of the Democrats that is just backfiring them when they've tried to use the leverage of punishing people from the federal government being shut down and certain programs being stalled and frozen right now, wanting to capitalize on that for their political gain. And it's backfiring on them left and right. And it's kind of fun to watch. 901-260-5926. I want to get your thoughts on this and more.
What agencies or different services have been affecting you? Or have they? because we're not seeing a whole lot of that back after this on the Todd Starns radio program. Welcome back to it. Todd Starns Radio Show.
Andy Hoosier sitting in for Todd on a Friday, your Halloween Friday. Happy Halloween to you. You can find more information about Todd at ToddStarnes.com. Also, make sure to check out his Newsmax TV program on Newsmax 2. Also, if you want to find my information, then you can at HoosierReason.com, H-O-O-S-E-R-Reason.com.
The government shutdown continues on. And the paranoia, the panic that we're all going to see this weekend with the lack of food stamps and snap benefits going out, what does that mean for Americans? Woo-hoo! Goodie! Die because of you.
That's really the hysteria that we're hearing right now. The trends on social media say that: hey, if we don't get it, we're just going to walk out with stuff free, anyways. Or we're going to go and take it from somebody else because you, taxpayer, you work for me, and I deserve free food stamps for myself and whoever else, and we're just going to go about it that way.
So, are you prepared for the chaos and pandemonium that Democrats are intentionally trying to create? For the holiday season and the kickoff of your holiday trifecta 901-260-5926. Let's go to the phones and let's chat with John in Kentucky. John, how are you, my friend? I'm doing Real good.
You know, my son and I went. to the grocery stores.
Sometimes my wife gives me a honeydew list. And you know, the the the grocery store out here really crowded. You could tell some people were panic buying. But you made mention about people threatening to go in and robbing and stuff like that. Don't these people realize that a lot of people in what they call constitutional carry states carry firearms, and a lot of them are well trained.
No, I'm I'm you know, I think the saddest part is is that You have desperate moms that, you know, and and and and desperate people But at the same time, You know, I've seen this happen before where somebody says, Look, I I'm short on cash. Can you help me? I'll see somebody in the grocery line and they don't have enough money to buy something. You'll see somebody come up and say, Here, I got this for you. You see the best and worst of humanity out here.
And you know, I would hate to see where You know, you know, where somebody would come in and try to rob you, when the simplest thing to do is. Can you help me? Right. That's the thing. I mean, you're right.
Government doesn't solve any issues like that, but the people, the American people, humanity in general, again, I'm always an eternal optimist. Humanity in general is there to help individuals. And if you ask for help, or if someone sees a need, someone on the side of the road with a flat tire or, you know, the hood up on their vehicle, or they're a few dollars short because their card won't swipe at the grocery store, humanity helps out people, and it's so encouraging. And that's what makes me happy. For them to be so entitled to say, Well, I'm just really grateful for someone to help me out, but no, no, I demand it.
It's weird that we've conditioned ourselves in society to allow that type of behavior. And one more thing, you know, I'm an immigrant. I came to this country, I was sworn in as a U.S. citizen with my mom. in August of nineteen sixty eight.
I'll never forget that date. And one of the things my mom told me, she says, John, you owe this country everything and it owes you nothing. And It's your job to return the goodness of this nation. And one of the things I've learned from my mom and from other people like you and Todd is kindness. Actually accomplishes more Than anger.
And that's what I'm concerned about. The leftists encouraging anger when all, like you just said, all that you have to do is ask. And you'll be surprised at the goodness of the people of this great country of ours. Thank you for letting me vent. God bless you.
God bless you, John. Thank you so much for the call. I appreciate that. And you're absolutely right. Humanity is wonderful.
We love taking care of people. We're always about it. And in fact, the studies always show over and over and over again that conservatives and Republicans are way more charitable because we like to give to nonprofit organizations. We like to help out communities. We like to do what we can to help people the best way we can.
And it's not through a government bureaucracy, to Democrats, which I've always explained there's two tiers of Democrats and progressives. There's the bleeding hearts that truly feel like they're doing something right. They want to help out. They have the right intentions. They want to help out humanity.
That's awesome. But they feel like the only way to do it is through some kind of structured, organized government institution. Which Is just in my opinion strongly misguided. We can take care of it, we can deal with it on the local front in our local communities the best way we can at a local level to make sure our people are properly taken care of. Uh, then there's the higher tier of progressive liberal democrats that understand the bleeding hearts are wanting to do something and they take advantage of that situation.
They end up putting in these institutions, they have a top-down bureaucracy that ends up controlling all the money that doesn't actually ever solve anything. It makes people way more dependent and it causes a socialist machine while these bleeding hearts think, haha, I'm serving the world. In my opinion, it doesn't work. And that's what we're seeing right now with Snap, and it's time for us to do that reform.
So, thank you for that message, John, because you're right. During the holidays, we take care of our own. We're gonna take our communities, we don't care the government, and for these entitled individuals. That's the wrong way to approach this issue. Back after this on the Todd Starns radio show.

I don't know, like a month ago, two months ago? I don't know. Time flies by with the Trump administration. It's all blur, so I never remember time frames. My wife always tells me, and you are terrible with time frames.
So don't quote me on that. But it's been relatively recent, I think, where the Supreme Court said, hey, Federal judges, you're not allowed to impose nationwide injunctions. Not allowed to do it. Stick in your lane. And if there's a case that affects you locally in your district, that's what you reside over.
But a federal judge somewhere in the country is not able to override the president of the United States and the entire executive branch just because they don't like what they're doing. And politically, that was very naughty, naughty for the Democrats. I didn't like that because Chuck Schumer was on record openly saying is the transition was happening last year after the election that said we're going to ram through as many federal judges as possible and get them appointed.
So that way we have a line of defense, so to speak, to go after the Trump administration. And that way we can stop his agenda because we're powerless. As Democrats, we're powerless. We can't do anything. Ironically, that's what they're trying to do right now is trying to slow down the Trump administration with a government shutdown.
But another judge, even after the banning of nationwide injunctions, has now made a claim, hat tip to ABC, where a federal judge in Boston Has now ruled that the Trump administration's attempt to suspend SNAP funding is quote. Unlawful.
However, Have declined so far in the ruling to immediately order the program be funded in a particular way. Yeah. Um okay. According to U.S. District Judge Indira Talawani, reserved the judgment about whether to issue a temporary restraining order, but instead is asking the Trump administration to advise the court on whether they would authorize reduced at SNAP benefits for the month of November.
Here's what I don't get. I don't know how they have the ability to question that at all. Because well, Congress funded the program. Congress has shut down. The Trump administration now oversees as the executive branch of the federal government.
Remember the whole three branches of government thing? That they have. The purview to decide how these different programs operate. If the funding is essentially suspended or used in some ways, and we never renewed funding. For the program because Congress never extended their funding because they never passed a continuing resolution.
Where do we have the funds to do this? How do we move funds around in order to cover the SNAP benefits? There's no money there. We haven't renewed the funds. We haven't given access to the cash because Congress.
hasn't done their job. How is it? that the judicial branch had has to tell the executive branch. How to work on different programs and agencies within the executive branch where they have the purview of it when there's no money there because the legislative branch isn't doing their job. See the confusion here?
But yet another judge, this Indira Talawani, Has now said that the Trump administration should be answering questions on why they're not funding the SNAP program when they say that that's been done in the past for these issues. In the statement, she wrote: For the reasons stated below, the plaintiffs have standing to bring this action and are likely to succeed on their claim that defendants' suspension of SNAP benefits are unlawful. All right.
I'm confused. Because aren't Democrats the ones that want the snap benefits to end?
So that way they can put the harm on the American people.
So that way they can blame the Trump administration for not funding these programs and opening up the government himself when he doesn't have the prerogative to do so because he's not a king, even though he has a crown now, which is awesome. But he doesn't have the ability to do that because he doesn't hold the power of the purse. But he's to blame for it because Democrats won't vote for a CR.
So that way the SNAP benefits don't go out. They can say that it's Trump's fault. They can get their side angry and riled up to turn out to the elections. And now their own side says that Donald Trump has to do it. I mean, doesn't that negate the entire purpose of putting the pressure on the people by punishing them?
My brain hurts trying to think about all this, but we'll see whether this holds. Obviously, it's not going to work because the nationwide injunctions don't work, and a judge cannot tell the Trump administration what to do with their own branch under the executive. Orders, that doesn't work.
So, Donald Trump, my theory is Donald Trump may move funding around at the end of the day, the final moment, be like, ha ha, I saved the day, and takes all the power and leverage away from Democrats. But so far, that hasn't happened, and he's openly said. Right now, that he's not going to shift or move funding around in some fashion in order to fund the SNAP benefit program, which he shouldn't have to, because the Democrats need to get on board and vote to end this government shutdown and just all around.
So that's the headline. We'll see whether this goes anywhere or not. But this broke just about 10 minutes ago with the federal judge trying to impose. Net nationwide. Injunction.
That's pretty wild. All right, Dylan, we have a few minutes left on the show. And last time, a couple days ago, when we were on, we had some fun with 3i Atlas. Have you heard anything new about 3E Atlas the last couple of days? I haven't seen any confirmed Images.
The problem with our internet nowadays is that AI is very deceptive.
So people are posting. A bunch of like videos and photos and stuff that I don't know if I can believe. But I kind of want to believe at the same time. We want to believe them for sure. Yeah, there is, it's really to the point we can't trust anything we see on social media at all.
And it's really sad because, like you said, I really, really, really want to see these videos and the graphics of 3i Atlas be what they say that they are. It's supposed to be coming around the sun now to where we can see what it looks like after its nice little singshot around the sun. But I don't know. The issue, being on Halloween, we got to wrap up with something relatively fun and lighthearted, right? But yet still political.
I sat down recently with a guy by the name of Kent Heckenlively, who wrote a new book that's coming out in the next few weeks on government cover-ups of UFOs. And government cover-ups of high-speed. Higher intelligence. And where we're at with this issue, and why we're seeing our government that really is one of the most tight-lipped governments in the entire world on this type of technology and what they may or may not have, and our understanding of what other beings may be out there. And I want to play just a real quick snippet of this, a few minutes of it, of him talking about where we're at right now with the government and why they're being so tight-lipped on so many issues.
And are we starting to finally understand? Things going on beyond our understanding. exciting is uh in putting together my book, Catastrophic Disclosure. I really got to know Congressman Eric. Eric Burleston, who has really been one of the hard chargers on this Disclosure topic.
Of a lot of federals. secrets and What it and what I'm love about bird is He tells everybody he's something of a skeptic on whether UFOs are actually aliens. But what he's not a skeptic about is is the fact that the government is lying about what they've been doing. And the question is, what's behind that lie? And I think that's why it was really interesting.
Yeah. together this book catastrophic. Disclosure which comes out in November 18th. Yeah. is to really talk to the experts in the UFO field and to review public documents and And I think it's the perfect book.
For somebody who may not have read much about UFOs, may have You know, watch some documents. But says to themselves Tell me what the story is. Tell it to me in a narrative that makes sense. What I've really been happy with. about is I've gotten some early reviews from Circus and from Blue Inc.
Review. And you know, the subject of UFOs You know, I I've This is like my 20th book, and I've never done anything paranormal. But when there were the hearings in Congress, in the Summer of 2023 with David Grush. I just said to myself, You know, holy. Holy cow, what is Going on here because I know.
That in order to testified before Congress. They met the people pretty seriously.
So Whether you believe that David Grush is telling the truth or not He's a legitimate person. He's a legitimate government employee. And so the story that he told was really remarkable and I just start like Kata, I think there's probably a lot of people out there like me. who is saying, let let there be somebody who's an honest broker in this field. And so, you know, so on the one hand, Look, I've never seen a UFO.
I don't have any missing time. You know, I I'm not in this world. And so that's great. strength but what I also always do in my book. is I pair myself.
with somebody who is an expert. And in that case, it's my good friend Michael Mazzola. who is probably the most distinguished UFO documentary filmmakers.
So, you know, yes, it's wonderful. Yeah. this honestly. That also means I'm Yeah. And you know, ask you know, very naive questions.
And so, kind of, that's always kind of been my dynamic in these books, which is: let me be the every man who's asking these questions. And let me make sure I'm talking to really smart people. And that's what we've done in this book is You know, we've got extensive interviews with the luminaries in the UFO field. Dr. Stephen Greer, we've got Longtime constitutional lawyer, Dami Sheehan.
Uh we've got Um people like Congressman Eric Burleson has his own chapter. Uh I do uh a good interview with Michael Schellenberger, who is uh a well-known independent journalist, and you know, he broke the Immaculate Constellation. story that We're supposedly monitoring many of these craft with our advanced surveillance satellites. And so, you know, it really presents a picture that's quite remarkable. And I think is different than anybody is going to see.
And what I've really been happy about in the Advanced reviews. Kirkus had this one line that said, Hack and Liley and Missola, right? with energy and intelligence. And Blue Ink Review had this wonderful line which said, you know, as. As shocking as these claims are, the great thing about this book is.
The meticulous documentation, and the authors lead you through the story and invite you to make up your own mind. I think that's really. really The great thing about this, and you know, what I say in answer to the inevitable question I get, which is like, Do you believe in aliens? I'll say, Well, you know, I feel like. I'm 85, 15%.
Sure. What seems really clear to me is that people are seeing something. These people are genuine. Their lives often don't get better after they talk about seeing these craft.
So I believe in their sincerity.
So I'm kind of like at 85%. But if you told me, hey, these people are being manipulated or Or every 100,000 hours, the human brain glitches in weird ways. I'd go, okay. But, you know, so I really think it's just, it's a great adventure. This book is a great adventure for anybody.
Who wants, you know, kind of like an honest look, and I'll tell you. When I I think, you know, I'll document the story and then I'll tell you, hey, I don't know what to make of this. Crazy, but I can't pick it apart. Boom. All right, so Kent Hecken Lively, catastrophic disclosure.
That's coming out later on in November, but really breaks it down and trying to investigate why the federal government is so tight-lipped on some of these issues, on what they may have, some of the higher technology, or even. Higher intelligence. Do you believe it? That's a fun one to have for a Halloween episode here on the Todd Starns Radio Program. We'll get your thoughts on that when we come back with the few minutes that we have left at 901-260-5926.
It is the Todd Starns Radio Program. Welcome back to it. Got a few minutes left here of the Todd Sarns Radio Show for your Halloween episode here on a Friday or Open Line Friday at 901-260-5926. It makes you really think, not just, I mean, it was a fun interview to chat with Kent Hicken Lively about the UFO cover-up and technology cover-up from the federal government, but it's really a bigger issue. Right, Dylan, it's not just about UFOs.
It's not just about aliens, although that's really fun to talk about and speculate on, but it's a bigger issue of why our government is so secretive about. Everything, right? I mean, our government's more secretive than I think most governments out there, wouldn't you agree? Yeah, I agree. And it makes conspiracy theories more exciting for.
Just like average Joe's, but also it's uh frustrating a lot of times.
Well, it's very frustrating, and conspiracy theories, for the most part, sometimes really do come true. The problem is, once you get a couple right, then you really go down the rabbit hole of thinking every conspiracy is right, and then you really go down the crazy town.
So, you got to be careful with what's real and realistic, and then what's an actual conspiracy. But I'm very open to the idea that our government keeps way too much from us, and we need to start having way more disclosure. I will say very openly here, thank God for Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna. Thank God for Congressman Tim Burchett and others that are on these different transparency tasks force and these committees and subcommittees in Congress that are working to try and get this information out, pushing back against the Department of War, pushing back against the FBI and CIA and all these other black ops operations and different agencies that have been keeping secrets for a long time, even from elected officials. Which is weird.
You get your money through the taxpayers through the appropriated money of Congress, but yet you don't report to them for you to disclose what you're working on? I don't know, man. All right, last couple of minutes. Dylan, what is... Outside of the aliens, what is the best Halloween?
Decoration. Or costume or or candy or alien abduction story that you've heard so far this year. Oh, wow. See? I just widened it up right there because here's the thing: I am not honestly seeing a whole lot of Halloween decorations this year.
I'm not either. I mean, I I live in a neighborhood that likes to decorate a good bit.
So, I mean, As far as decorations go, I mean, when you have your bush Like shriveled in the spider webs. That's pretty cool. I mean, the stuff in the yards, that. The more You know, the more that I get older, the more realistic these decorations get.
So, if as I'm driving by, I can't really tell if it's fake. I mean, I know in my head that it's fake, but it's like moving and it's animatronic.
So, I that's the thing, there's a lot of animatronics out there. Here's, I thought I was clever last year. Have you seen the movie Nightmare Before Christmas? Yeah. Okay, so for those that don't know Nightmare Before Christmas, a Tim Burton cartoon of Jack the Pumpkin King.
He's a skeleton who really likes the bright colors and the happiness during Christmas, and he wants to be part of that. He doesn't want to be during Halloween anymore, so he goes to Christmastown. I had the ingenious idea last year. I guess honestly, it was my wife's idea, but I went along because it was really easy for me. Last year for Halloween, we put up all of our Christmas decorations.
Like all of them. We put everything out. We decorated for Christmas for Halloween. And then we got a massive 10-foot blowup of Jack the Pumpkin King and put it right in our front yard.
So, ha, it's Jack the Pumpkin King in Christmastown. It's literally the plot of Jack the King. I know, literally the plot.
So I'm like, I think that's pretty cool. I dressed up as Santa Claus last year for Christmas. Because why not? Halloween got done. We took down Jack the Pumpkin King, we boxed him up, and boom, we're already decorated for Christmas for the year.
Okay.
It's the sign of the time. I mean, it's the time of holiday season, so it's the holiday season. Everything's acceptable. That's it. It's holiday season, and we work smart, not hard.
So we decorated for two at the same time, and I didn't have to do it in the extreme cold during December time.
So I'm all right with that. It's been a blast. Todd, always a pleasure to be able to fill in for you, brother. We love you. Thank you so much for the chance.
Andy Hooser sitting in here for Todd Starns. Everybody, have a happy Halloween, a great weekend, and we'll see you back on the radio soon for the Todd Starnes Radio Show.
