Well, there's a lot going on, and Pam Bondi is basically: who is the chick in Kill Bill? Was that Uma? Was that Uma Thurman? Man, my. My movie history is failing me, and that's not good this early in the program.

But anyway, remember, it was Uma.

So remember Uma Thurman from Killbill? That's right now what Pam Bondi is doing without a sword. She's literally leaving mayhem and destruction in her path. as she's testifying up on Capitol Hill today. And one of the interesting things that we've been observing.

is that the Democrats in this country are on the side of evil. And that is not an understatement. Ladies and gentlemen, I there's no way There is absolutely no way That a Christian can actually be a Democrat. There's just no way. Y th those two are just completely incompatible.

And I say that because Here we are, days after the revelations coming out of Virginia that. The guy who wants to be the next Attorney General, the top law enforcement officer in the state of. Virginia, the Commonwealth. Is actually still out there and defending not only his position that he wants to put bullets in the head of his Republican opposition, but also that he wanted to urinate on the grave of that lawmaker. And not only that, he wanted to see the little children of this lawmaker killed in front of the guy's wife.

And he s he accused them both of breeding little fascists. That's evil incarnate right there. But now we understand this guy. wanted to actually kill Law enforcement officers, unbelievable, Jay Jones is his name. And this is insanity.

So you've got the Virginia Fraternal Order of Police now out there saying that this guy is unfit for office. and says that he needs to drop out. Jay Jones said that if more police were killed, it would reduce shootings of civilians. What kind of nonsense garbage is that?

So the guy wants to kill cops. He wants to kill Republicans. You've got nobody out there from the Democrat Party condemning this, but also, and by the way, they're. It's not just about condemnation. This is about doing the right thing.

There's no way this guy is qualified to be in office. Quite frankly, he needs to be in some sort of a mental high. Hospital. He's got some issues. And by the way, it's not just him, it's Abigail Spanberger, who's running for governor in Virginia.

And she actually said these words: this is a direct quote: Let your rage fall. Fuel you. This ladies and gentlemen, coming from Top Democrats in Virginia. You've got Democrats on Capitol Hill that will are refusing to condemn the violence, refusing to tone down the rhetoric coming from their own side. And it's it's really shocking.

Really shocking. but not surprising. But yesterday I caught a little bit of flack because I said the Democrat Party was the party of Satan. Can you prove otherwise? Where is your evidence?

I want to see because I'm not seeing it right now. I'm just not seeing it.

So while all that is going on, you've got this other big story that dropped just yesterday. That the Biden administration During the Arctic Frost Investigation, that was being led by Jack Smith. President Trump calling this guy a sleazeball, and that is being very, very generous, Mr. President. This guy's flat out evil.

And it turns out they were tapping the phones of a number of Republican senators. And we've got the list here. Ah yes. In my fingers, ladies and gentlemen, I have the names. of the Republican senators Who were targeted?

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. What? Todd, are you telling me they were they were tapping my phone? Uh-uh. Yes, they were, Lindsay.

Senators Bill Hangerty and Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Dan Sullivan of Alaska. Josh Hawley. Of Missouri. Tommy Tubberville. Of Alabama, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.

By the way, Tommy Tubberville is probably knocking on somebody's door right now with a baseball bat. That's how they handle business in Alabama. Cynthia Lomas of Wyoming and And even Congressman Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania, all targeted their phones were tapped and. They don't have a clue. They have no idea why.

And no idea what grounds the FBI had to spy on them. President Trump says this Jack Smith was a deranged man who got Caught with his hand in the cookie jar. But what this is, is just more proof that the Biden administration. Weaponize the federal government. To target conservatives.

I mean, it really is that simple. Look, remember what happened last month? We found out that through all of these documents that have been stuffed into closets and Lord knows, we don't even know the extent. Of how bad this was and who all they were targeting because a lot of the documents were just destroyed. But now we know the FBI had ninety two conservative organizations and peoples.

Yes, I said it, People's. More than one people. Under investigation. Including Turning Point USA. And we saw how that turned out.

By the way, a brief aside. This is just fair warning. I have some questions about About Turning Point USA, and I have some questions about the assassination. and the narrative that they want us all to believe. And I haven't said anything about that.

You know what? I'm going to save that.

So we'll put a pen in that because I want to get to that conversation. Today. And it is going to be a conversation that will be had over a series of these programs. But I don't know about you, but I just have a lot of questions about Turning Point USA right now. It got a lot of questions.

Not a lot of answers, but a lot of questions. But regardless, Turnipo USA Targeted By the FBI.

Now I've seen the redacted Documentation, and many of you have as well. I mean, it's been all over the social media feeds. And you see names that are redacted. I want to know who those names are.

Now, it could be the same person, you know, multiple times, or it could be that there were three or four other individuals involved in all of this. Here's the deal. Every person involved, first of all, needs to be fired.

So I hope that part of the story has already been taken care of. But We also need to investigate. Because ladies and gentlemen, It is against the law to say. to do what they did. You can't you cannot Go out there and just...

Tamp somebody's phone without any sort of evidence, any sort of evidence of a crime. Being committed? You can't do that. It is not only a felony, it is a serious. Follow me.

So they got the goods.

So, my question is: what information do they have? that they were able to get these wiretaps. Approved. Who did that? We need to know what that information was.

Now according to the Federal Wiretap Act, Did a little research last night on this. And it prohibits the intentional interception of wire, oral, and electronic communications. And it establishes strict procedures that law enforcement must obtain a warrant for surveillance. Were those warrants obtained? Were they acquired?

Evidence collected in violation of the law can be suppressed in court.

Well, where's that information? What were they doing? And now, we understand from some sources that they were only looking at the numbers. They just wanted to see who they were calling. I don't care.

I still believe that. They intercepted They intercepted the communications of the Senators, and that is a criminal act.

So, we need to get to the bottom of this, and we need to get to the bottom of it quickly.

Now, Senator John Kennedy, just a little while ago in the Senate Judiciary. Pointed out something to Chuck Grassley, who's chair of the committee. And Lord love this, Lord love Grassley. But he's getting on up there. What what are you saying?

No, I'm not saying anything. I'm just saying it takes a little bit for the brain to kick into gear sometimes. And Gransley wasn't grasping. What? No, I'm not making.

No, I'm not mocking Chuck Grassley. I'm just saying he's an older fellow. Way older. But anyway, John, he wasn't grasping what John Kennedy was saying because John Kennedy was like. We need to know, and I don't want to wait 24 days or 24 years.

We need to know right now. What was this all about? Haul them in. And I don't care if you got to drag them in in handcuffs, get their butts in there, put Jack Smith in there and everybody else whose name was redacted. Get the redacteds in there.

And if you don't want to identify 'em, just put, I dunno, bags over their head. and get him in there so we can find out what the heck is going on. But you Yeah, Posit this thought here. And this will help you sleep really well at night. If they were doing this to sitting members of the United States Congress?

And it's really off-putting to a lot of these world leaders who apparently don't have a sense of humor.

So look, Josh Hawley. Just called out. All of the Senate Democrats, and I want you to hear Holly, by the way, one of the guys who. who was whose phone was tapped cut fifteen. Manner of things and the current president.

I've also heard them said, and I just wrote it down because I wanted to be sure I heard it correctly. I've heard them say that Joe Biden never targeted his political enemies. Joe Biden never directed his Attorney General to target his political opponents. Ha. That's interesting because I could have sworn that yesterday we learned that the FBI tapped my phone.

Let's look at it. We've got a list. Tap my phone, tap Lindsey Graham's phone, tap Marsha Blackburn's phone, tap five other phones of United States senators. Gee, it sure looks like targeting political opponents to me, and yet I haven't heard a word from that side of the dais about any concern whatsoever. We've got nothing but concerns today, but no concern at all.

For a Justice Department that is tapping the phones of sitting United States Senators because who knows why? They don't like them. They're members of the opposition party. They're Republicans. They're conservatives.

You've seen this document, Attorney General Bonnie. What was going on here? Who ordered this? Who ordered the tapping of the phones of United States senators? Senator Hawley, I cannot discuss the details of that right now for very good reason.

You're going to do a thorough investigation into this, I trust. Is that correct? We will be looking at all aspects of this, and I have talked to Director Patel at length about it. And you're going to figure out who was involved in this. Yeah, they're going to have to, and it's going to have to be very soon.

And hear me on this, ladies and gentlemen. This isn't going to be a long investigation, it doesn't need to be. As a matter of fact, they should already know. Who these individuals are. Right?

Because Because we've already We've already got the names. They've been redacted, but the MBI knows who these people are.

So haul him in and let's get the information. And let's have a press conference later this afternoon, and we can announce to the world who these evil monsters are. This is Soviet-era stuff going down here, people.

Folks, you If you don't put on your blinker, you're getting pulled over. I mean, it's hardcore around Memphis, Tennessee. The first National Guard deployments, and the National Guard's not even here. The first National Guard deployments are expected by Friday. October the tenth, And some commanders are already in town.

This is according to the Daily Memphis. newspaper. This is kind of exciting. By the way, I want you to listen to this fella. He's an Instagrammer.

Talking about the National Guard in Memphis. I just seen something on the stressway that I thought I'd never see in emissions, man. And everybody on them Driving civilized as hell, man. I couldn't believe it. I ain't see no drive out tags.

I ain't see no heel cats and scat pegs flying past me doing one twenty.

Sometimes I might just a nice flow of traffic, man. I couldn't believe it. I'm proud of y'all. You got people using like turn signals. I'm talking about it is crazy.

Sh I guess they is making the tears. Hush now. They're using their turn signals. Good God, man. What's going on?

No, it's true. About 70% of all of the vehicles, especially of the Dodge Charger variety, No tags. Because nobody ever got pulled over for it.

So now they are arresting hundreds of people, getting very bad people off the street. Dylan, you know you drive around. You've got a tag, though. You gotta do the speed limit. I'm a law-abiding citizen, though, so I never have to worry about this.

By the way, you know, Memphis has its own language, so maybe you should explain what the word Maine is. Come on, Maine. Maine is man. Man. It's just stretched out a little.

And the big challenge here is that, unfortunately, President Trump given bad intel, and the president endorsed a rhino known in Tennessee as Tennessee Fauci. He's the guy, this Van Epps, Matt Van Epps.

And you've got 11 Republicans running in this primary to replace Matt or Mark Green, rather. Van Epps. has the backing of a lot of billionaires. and a lot of rhinos. So, anyway, um. John Rich and Jodi Barrett grew up together.

So they've known each other since school. And John Rich says this guy is the real deal, and Jodi Barrett, and Jodi Barrett. Ought to be the nominee.

So we're going to see what happens. There's been a huge controversy here in the state of Tennessee over this, and people are really upset. The conservatives are really upset here. And I don't know who is whispering into President Trump's ear when it comes to these state congressional races, but that person is not being helpful. to the America First agenda, and I'm just going to leave that there.

The word is, and I think it's been confirmed by the White House, they are going to transfer Texas National Guard units to the state of Illinois. What's the rationale for that?

Yeah, Chairman, as you shut down the government, you voted to shut down the government, and you're sitting here, our law enforcement officers aren't being paid. They're out there working to protect you. I wish you love Chicago as much as you hate President Trump. And currently, the National Guard are on the way to Chicago. If you're not going to protect your citizens, President Trump will.

There you go. And that's exactly what's happening. And we understand National Guard troops are literally en route right now to Chicago, to the Wendy City.

So well done. There's some controversy on, well, there's a lot of controversy on social media. involving Turning Point USA. And I just have a simple question before we jump into this. Do you have any questions?

Have you noticed? And just Only Back up here for a moment. Have you noticed how they're Trying to memory hold this? I'm not talking about the memory of Charlie Kirk, but I'm talking about what happened, the actual assassination. Have you noticed that nobody's really talking about this?

I mean, that it's just already faded even from the conservative media world. Nobody's talking about it. At all. Then yesterday word comes out that that there had been some indication, and this was coming from a sitting member of Congress, That there may be some sort of Chinese. involvement in in all of this.

And I say this, and again, the FBI, I know they're still investigating and all of that. I get that.

So, but still. with such a high profile situation It just seems to me That We would be getting updates and we would be getting information. And and that's just not happening. I keep going back. To the actual event itself and the aftermath of that, and it's all just.

It's weird. And I just have a lot of questions. My concern is that they're telling, and by they, I can't even tell you who they is. But there's a collective they. And they are saying You don't talk about this.

You don't ask questions. You go along with our narrative. And if you deviate There's going to be a problem. And I I I guess I it's just all very strange. And the connections and the allegations that are out there, and I know that Candace Owens came out and she dropped.

A lot of text messages yesterday. What's interesting is That TPUSA has not refuted the text messages that were released. That indicates That There were some issues. At TPUSA.

Now there was a There was Congressman Luna was on a podcast. yesterday, and that's when she said That his assassination, Charlie's assassination, may be linked to a foreign government funding.

Now, they're saying from China, there are others out there saying that Israel was involved. I don't know. I don't know. I do not know the answer to that question because there's been no evidence presented. I mean, certainly a lot of circumstantial stuff, but I don't know.

I just don't know. According to Congressman Luna, that the the Chinese funding May have benefited a group called the Salt Lake City Queers, which is now being investigated by the FBI for having foreknowledge of. Charlie's assassination. And all of this is coming from Congresswoman Luna. But I'm just wondering.

Do are you interested? Is it wrong for us to be asking questions about How all of this went down? Are we sure we have? the right guy in custody here? Is this something just I mean, is it?

Are we looking at a conspiracy or was this just a really, really angry, confused person? Who took that shot? and killed Charlie. And I think we need to know the answer to that question. And I'm just going to tell you.

That I don't have trust in the government to get this right. And I say that because to this date, and we are what nine months into the Trump Term And we still don't have any intel over what happened in Butler County, Pennsylvania.

So whatever reason, they're keeping that information close to the vest. And they don't want us to know about it. But it does make you wonder. What exactly is it Is going on when it comes to Folks like Candace Owens. who is out there and man It's the information she's sharing, it does make you step back, but then you wonder: okay, what's really going on?

What's the real story?

Now the FBI Director Cash Batel back on september twenty first. said this As director of the FBI, I am committed to ensuring the investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination is thorough and exhaustive, pursuing every lead to its conclusion. The full weight of America's law enforcement agencies are actively following the evidence that has emerged. But our efforts extend beyond initial findings. We are examining every facet of the assassination.

He goes on. It's a pretty lengthy statement. He said the the FBI mourns the loss of Charlie Kirk. We will not rest until justice is served. Our investigation into the assassination will continue until every question is answered.

So there you have it.

So that's basically what we're looking at right now, ladies and gentlemen. A lot of questions that have not been answered. I'm very concerned about the crime scene. and the contamination of that crime scene. That whole thing just did not check out with me.

And look, a lot of people are going to be saying a lot of things that just simply are not true. And that may be what's happening with Candace Owens, but she still is producing a lot of evidence.

Now, the folks on the other side are saying a lot of this evidence. is taken out of context. I don't know. But all it would be nice if there was a press conference held because a lot of people. A lot of people just That they want to make sure that this is all on the up and up here.

And I don't see the problem with holding a press conference. And you say, well, Todd, nobody's really ready to talk right now. Really? Because they're talking, they're going around to all the university campuses and they're holding gatherings. The meetings are continuing.

The work of Turning Point USA goes on.

So why not just pause? And address all of these. Allegations. Refute the allegations. Just curious.

But again, lots of questions out there, folks. And what bothers me the most is that there are some within the conservative movement. Who will tell you You can't ask any questions. We've got to move on from here. And for me as a longtime journalist of 30 years, Red flags go up when I hear that kind of language.

Red flags go up when I hear that kind of talk. And that's what leads to all the conspiracy theories and all these chasing things down rabbit holes. No, no, no. Let's just get all the facts out there. And if it's just one guy and the FBI knows that already, they know it.

So, Cain Spatell, just a few minutes ago, announcing. that they have identified the employees involved in the spying on the Republican senators, and they have fired those employees. They have abolished the CR-15 squad.

Now that's the squad that was responsible for doing the monitoring of the lawmakers. Cash Batel, um writing on X. Transparency is important and accountability is critical. We promise both. And this is what Promises Kept looks like.

We terminated employees, we abolished the weaponized. CR-15 squad, and we initiated an ongoing investigation with more accountability measures ahead. I don't know about you. I'd like to know who these people are. Because these people are traitors to their country.

And we put 100 police officers kind of that. It wouldn't be attacked. Then we would throw rocks at them. Then we would try to shoot them. Nobody would do anything.

They would say, hello, good morning. Maybe they'd get them a cup of coffee. Before they go for the shift for the day, that asks, how are your kids doing? How are your kids doing? The fact that Democrats think that their own base Cannot contain their desire to inflict violence upon the mere sight.

In other words, National Guard's not being sent there. Proactively, they're being sent there reactively to defend ICE officers under siege.

So, in theory, If ICE officers were in the building and the National Guard was in their building and nobody was violently attacking them, the only thing that you would see is there's a building, there's ICE officers, there's guardsmen. The the violence is entirely rioters choosing to show up and wage violence at a specific federal building. Yeah, it's true. By the way, how do you think all that plays with just the average Joes, even people that are not all that involved in politics? They're watching as people are hurling rocks and bottles and bricks at law enforcement.

They're spitting on them, calling them Nazis. How do you think that plays? I don't think it plays well. And I think the Democrats know that. And they don't know what to do.

Chucky Schumer has no control over his own party right now, none whatsoever. And El Hefe Hakeem Jeffries, he got no power. At all. I mean, that guy is um. Oh, what's the phrase uh for a um a hen packed husband?

Yeah, he's got the girls, Jasmine Crockett. Ilhan Omar AOC, they're running all over that guy. They were the pingots in that relationship. No, I'm just saying. No, I'm no, no, I'm not questioning anything.

I'm just saying that El Hefe is Little Hefe. Caitlin Collins, over at CNN, the most profane name in news. Remember the Judge Joe Brown thing, Dylan? We need to get that back. I don't know if we do.

Oh, no, we do. We do. Judge Joe Brown. The pride and joy of America And the judicial system Had a little saying about CNN back in the day. Do we have it?

We do not have it. Did we delete it? It may have been deleted. I can probably find it. Wait, why would we delete that?

I didn't delete it. No, don't delete that. That's good stuff. It is good. It's funny.

All right, we're going to play that sometime before. Yeah. Anyway, Caitlin Collins, she's out there doing this Q and A. And she's saying, you know? She says, I got to tell you something about Donald Trump.

She goes, the guy is really an accessible president. And so she's talking she's complimenting Trump and saying any time the camera is around, the reporters are around, it literally turns into a press conference. And I know this because it happens during my T V show on Newsmax every freaking day. She said President Obama almost never responded to shouted questions. But Trump ump-ended that when he came into the White House.

This is true, actually. And I can tell you that the press corps, and I traveled around. Wow, those were days. Me, Jake Tapper, Chuck Todd. And there are a couple of others.

We were like the regular rotation of reporters that covered Obama back in the day. And they would all complain about how inaccessible Obama was because Obama hated the press, hated the media. Trump, he actually has a good time. And even when he's, you know, Talking about lion CNN or whatever, he's doing it with a little sense of humor. You know, it's.

It's been a long time, my friends. Yeah. It has been a while, and thank you for that extremely over-the-top introduction. It's overstated, but I really appreciate it, and I am genuinely very excited about this new film. As you know, my earlier films have in one way or another been on the topic of America and the meaning of America.

This one on the other hand Is much wider. It engages october seventh, Israel, Hamas. Radical Islam, biblical archaeology, biblical prophecy.

So it integrates the political and the spiritual. um in uh in a way that I haven't quite done before. It's an impressive film, and it's based on a book written by our friend Jonathan Kahn called The Dragon's Prophecy, Israel, the Dark Resurrection and the End of Days. I'm just wondering out of all the projects you could work on, what is it that drew you to the dragon's prophecy? Debbie and I, my wife and I, went to Israel for the first time.

time in 2022. and we encountered biblical archaeology. you know, all these amazing uh archaeological finds Coming out of the ground. Authenticating the historicity of the Hebrew and the Christian scripture.

So you have these figures like. Pontius Pilate, Jeremiah, the prophet Isaiah, King David. And for centuries, these people were in the Bible, but only in the Bible. There was no sort of non-biblical. authentication or corroboration.

And now suddenly there is.

So I found this extremely fascinating. I'm like, why isn't this information being shouted from the rooftops of every synagogue and church?

So we come back to America fast forward. a year or so, and then you have October 7th. And I realize that October 7th and this biblical archaeology are kind of connected. Why? Because the underlying fundamental issue is Whose land is it?

And one of the things that the archaeology is showing is not simply that the Bible is about real people and true events. But it establishes definitively Homeland going back. two, three, four thousand years ago.

So there's a political significance to all this. And then I come across Jonathan Kahn and some of his blazing insights where he compares battles between Israel and Hamas. Do battles described in the Bible between the Israelites And the Philistines 3000 years ago. And he draws out these parallels in such an ingenious and interesting way. But I'm like, wow.

You know, I've got the archaeology, that's the past. We know you've got the war going on in the present. And here's Jonathan Kahn giving us a glimpse into biblical prophecy and the future. If I can pull this together into a tapestry, I'm really going to have a great movie. I'm curious about the name Dragon's Prophecy.

What does the title itself represent?

So in the book of Revelation chapter twelve, there is a kind of climactic theme described. It's a battle between a dragon representing the devil, Going to war against a woman representing Israel, and the woman is pregnant representing the Messiah.

So this is kind of a way of saying. Todd that there is a world behind the world. And that some of the events that we're seeing, these epical events, aren't just sort of historical or political, but behind them is an eternal conflict between God and the devil. There is a spiritual war raging, if you will, through time. And we're seeing it unfold in front of us and very exciting and interesting, and in some ways.

frightening ways.

So the film explores this connection. Between politics and theology. And of course, all of it couldn't be more timely because we're now seeing an attack. on Israel and the Jews coming from the right. And it's coming precisely in the name of politics and theology.

We hear phrases like replacement theology. You know, the New Testament has somehow abolished the old. We can kind of get rid of all that old testament stuff. The Jews really are not in any way the chosen people.

So the film, I set out to make a film that was timeless. But I ended up making a film that is also very timely. I'm always intrigued by this, and especially the book of Revelation. I grew up in a Southern Baptist household, so we would always have these summertime revival meetings, and the preacher would talk about the end of days and the end of time and the rapture. And these things always just sort of drew me in.

And so I think for me, that's one of the reasons I love Jonathan Kahn, because he has a completely different take on things. But one of the things that really concerns me, Danash, And I don't know if you've seen this, and if I'm off base here, please set me straight. But I am really concerned about this. This hatred, I guess, this animosity being directed at Israel? coming from the conservative movement these past couple of years.

I think it is bad on many levels. It's bad on the political side because it is completely fracturing. The MAGA movement. Not only ideologically, but generationally, kind of cutting off the older generation from. the younger generation.

It's being done in an utterly dishonest way. Yeah. uh through so-called asking questions Or so-called personal investigations, which are really bogus investigations. And so what's happening is a lot of young people who are frustrated for other reasons. And who have become, I think, in a Understandable way, distrustful of our institutions.

They distrust the CDC, they distrust the FBI. They distrust the official narrative. And so in a way, they're susceptible to believing anything if it sounds dark and conspiratorial enough. And this is now being, I think, manipulated by some Pied Piper is on the right, if I can use that term. I think in a very malevolent way.

And of course, theologically, it is also shameless. Because Of course. The New Testament is engrafted onto the old. It is not a replacement for the Old Testament. It's a fulfillment of it.

And while the Christians are not expected to be circumcised, or follow Jewish dietary laws. No one has ever said that Christians should not respect The creation, Genesis one, Abraham and Isaac, Moses and the Exodus. the follow the ten commandments Take cues from the Hebrew prophets. Imagine trying to kick all of that out from under us. There'd be hardly any Christianity left.

Jesus, I think, himself would be astonished at this. At this outrageous idea that somehow he came along to. Get rid of the Old Testament. It does go, though, back to prophecy. And I don't want to get, you know, too, I don't want to be prophetic here at all, but you know, there are plenty of passages of scripture where it said, well, all the nations will turn against Israel.

And you sort of see, maybe in the past, I'm like, there's no way that could happen. The United States is always going to be there.

Well, you know, not necessarily, based on what we have seen in recent days.

So. I don't know, it's uh it's all fascinating to me.

Well, not only that, Todd, but I think also who would have predicted that you would have a peculiar alliance between the cultural left Which is permissive, which is LGBTQ. And these radical Jihadis.

Now these two groups cannot live in each other's worlds. But nevertheless, they are joined at the hip, they're strange bedfellows, and they're united because of their common enemy, which is basically Israel and the Christians and the Christian West. And so it would seem rather obvious that since you can say the devil is is mobilizing his platoons, Let's call it the red platoon representing sort of communism, and the green platoon representing, if you will, radical Islam.

Well, it makes sense that the Jews and the Christians or Israel and Christianity would want to come a little closer together. To represent the other side, to be sort of on God's part of God's phalanx. That's the message of this film. And I'm glad you mentioned the website, the dragonsprophecyfilm.com. Well Let's just say that you'll hear me ask him questions he maybe hasn't heard before, such as what's your take on Jesus? I thought it's kind of cool to ask. the Jewish head of a Jewish state to comment on the most famous Jew of all time. And then I took Tucker Carlson's question, which was posed to Ted Cruz. Are the Jews of today, Nedan Yahoo's Jews, Taco calls them, are they the descendants of the ancient Israelites?

And so I go, All right, Beebe, well, what do you say? And then he does a very elegant dunk on Taco Carlson.

So this is what I mean when I say that the movie couldn't be more timely. And yet at some level it transcends all this. And it's talking about the Philistines and the battles between the Israelites and the Philistines. It's talking about the Temple Mount. I'm in Islamic Victory Arch sitting where the old Solomonic temple used to be.

I find red heifers in Shiloh awaiting the rebuilding of the Solomonic Temple.

So this is a movie that kind of draws you in at many different levels. And I think at the end, you'll find it spiritually very edifying. I I was watching a A series on Paramount, and it was sort of a fictionalized version of the making of the Godfather movie and what it was like to, you know, for Albert Ruddy, who was the director, the producer, to work with the author of the Godfather novel to turn that into a movie. I'm curious, what was it like working with Jonathan Kahn and meeting him and talking to him?

He is He's a very interesting fellow. He dresses in all black from top the bottom So he looks almost like a sort of a ghost. But he is blazingly eloquent and interesting.

Now, the movie, Khan writes mainly for an audience that has already accepted the truth of the scriptures. I add an element in this film that is not from Jonathan Kahn's book, and that's the biblical archaeology, where I'm in the archaeological pit. Out are coming coins and fields and stones out of the ground.

So we're basically trying to convince. a skeptical audience, even a secular audience of look, When you look at these figures in the Bible, you can dispute the theology, you can disbelieve the miracles if you want, but you can't challenge the historicity of the Bible. And so that archaeological section nicely complements the biblical analysis coming from Jonathan Kahn. All right. Well, good stuff.

I just didn't know, like, you know, if you guys, when the cameras are off, you know, off the appall around, you know, grab pizza. No, we've become buddies. Absolutely.

Well, that's good. No, no, it's very cool. And he just operates in a realm which is a close study of the Hebrew scriptures and a kind of matching of them to significant events happening today. I've never seen anyone really do it, and I've never seen anyone do it with this kind of. With this kind of excruciating attention to detail and skill.

Dinesh, how's the family doing? Everybody doing well? I know we got about a minute or so here. Everybody doing good? We're all doing well.

As you probably know, my son in law is a congressman in Texas. But more important to Debbie and me, we have two grandchildren on the scene: a two-year-old and a four-month-old, so they have become. The joy and entertainment of our life in in this phase of life. You see, I love this.

Now, what you have you and Debbie picked out did you pick out grandparent names? You know, that's a big thing. You gotta have a good name.

Well, we try to do that to no avail.

So Debbie, you know, drawing on her Venezuelan heritage, said that she wanted to be called Lita. But the grandchild was having none of it, and so she is now La la la.

So, this is what happens. You try to impose a name on these little ones and they end up imposing a name on you. That's it. That's how it goes, you know. And you gotta live with it, right?

Because they're the grandkids. Uh absolutely. I I thought it was a tradition that the elders get to name the young ones, but evidently in the grandparent phase it goes in the other direction. Apparently so. Dinesh, congratulations, and please give Debbie my best.

And my cardiologist was like, you know, years ago. Back when I had heart surgery, after the heart surgery, my doctor said, You know, you've got to start drinking red wine. It's really good for you and it's good for your heart. And I said, Well, I need a prescription because I'm a Baptist and I don't want to get in trouble. Honest to goodness.

That would be so funny to have a prescription. He gave me a prescription. That's amazing. He gave me one glass, one glass a day. I don't really do that a lot, except I've noticed it's for whatever reason the words just flow onto the page.

You're a different man. It's not the same when I drink sweet tea. I don't know what happened. Maybe I lost my edge. But anyway, I'm working on this.

This chapter on just manliness is going to be a fun book. And I came across this quote about. Handshaking, which I'm fascinated by. And I'm curious to get your opinion. Where's Josh Jones?

We got to bring Josh into this. Josh knows a thing or two about red wine. He may not have been. I'm good. I'm good, Josh.

All right. So, anyway, if you heard all of that, you know, I'm working on this book, working on a chapter on manliness. In America. And I came across this guy talking about a proper handshake. For for a guy, Dylan playcut one.

Proper handshake lasts exactly three pumps. Two pumps suggest you're hiding something. Four pumps means you're European. Count silently. Honest, trustworthy American.

European. Is that true though, guys? Have you thought about that when you're shaking somebody's hand? And I think I'm doing a three-pump. Let's see.

Hello, Dylan. How are you? One, two, three. Yeah, I'm a three-pump guy. I think a three is appropriate.

Josh, please tell me you're not European. I'm not European, no. I mean, I can't say I've ever put that much conscious thought into it, but no, four is definitely too much. It is too much. It's like, okay.

You know what's worse, though, is when you when you shake somebody's hand and it's like a dead fish. Mm-hmm. You know what I'm talking about? That person doesn't get my votes. Yeah, no.

It's the actual worst. And I I won't name names. There is individual words. I was working with in the past on their political campaign. And I went to shake their hand, I was like, oh, that's a problem.

You're going to have to fix that.

So surprisingly, um, you know, the he did. I'm just curious, though, because that's like your job. I mean, your job is to get these people elected and how. How do you tell somebody, dude, you got to do something about that handshake? Yeah, I mean, definitely an awkward conversation.

And frankly, it wasn't even me who corrected them. We had this older lady that was with us during this event, and she was the one that corrected me. She's like, Let me teach you how to do a handshake really quick. Oh, that's never good.

So I'm glad she did it instead of me. Better her than me. Just give the guy some sandpaper. Here, rub this between your hands for a few minutes.

Okay. Wow. All right. Well, Josh, always good having you on the show. And we got to switch gears here real quickly.

This situation in Virginia. Is insane. What is going on there with this Jay Jones guy? Yeah, I mean, you're absolutely correct in calling it insane because that's exactly what it is. For those of the listening who might not know, Jay Jones is a Democratic nominee for Attorney General in Virginia this cycle.

And it recently came out a couple of days ago that he had texted a fellow delegate in the House of Delegates. Who is a Republican, mind you? Texted her that the Speaker of the House at the time, Todd Gilbert, who was a Republican, should be shot and killed along with his kids. uh quoting that only people people only move on policy when they're personally affected. And then it came out today, or yesterday rather, that he also made a similar comment on a separate occasion about police officers and how they respond to calls and such.

But this guy is totally unhinged. And there's been universal condemnation from across the political spectrum. When it comes to Abigail Spanberger, who's the Democrat nominee for governor in Virginia, she put on a Very weak statement saying the comments bother her, but has not called on him to drop out of the race. Most of all, this guy wants to be the top law enforcement official in Virginia, and he's calling for political violence against his colleagues. And then also our law enforcement officers who would be who he would be in charge of.

absolutely disqualifying to just drop out of the race. And the Democratic nominee should call on him to do that. But they're not doing it, Josh. And this is where it's just mind blowing. And I know from the political operative side, you've got to be like, what in the world?

Nobody's willing to tell this guy to step down and to step out of the race. That's right. I mean, and You've seen reporters ask the Senate delegation, that being Mark Warner and Tim Kaine, Abigos Bember and Hashmi, who's the lieutenant governor nominee. absolutely all dismissing it, putting out very weak statements. Not calling on him to drop out.

It's an absolutely disqualifying statement. Regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum, this has nothing to do with politics. This is just. basic decency and who we want representing us as Virginians. And again, Even more emphasis on the fact that he wants to be the top law enforcement official in Virginia.

And he was sending this type of messaging less than two to three years ago is absolutely disqualifying, and they should be doing more.

Well, you've got Spamberger over on the other side telling people, let your rage fuel you. Yes, that's exactly what we need in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination. More rage-filled people out there. Yeah, it's absolutely irresponsible as of At the very best, it's irresponsible. I mean, and even they go on to say there's two individuals who have been arrested in Virginia who made death threats.

Again. Republican delegates in the House of Delegates, which is getting some coverage. Obviously, the Jay Jones thing is getting the most, but there's two separate individuals. threatening to assassinate two different Virginia state legislators, both Republicans. They had to be arrested by the FBI.

So the rhetoric coming out of the left here is Stoking violence against Republicans, at least in Virginia and across the country. I mean, we saw what happened with Charlie Kirk and others.

So, this is the kind of thing that needs to be shut down completely, especially when it comes from a candidate with such a high profile. And the fact that Democrats aren't doing anything about that is absolutely disgusting. I'll go on to say: any organization or individual who's still supporting Jay Jones or donating to his campaign, because there's those quiet supporters who are very influential, but maybe not making public statements, are still donating to his campaign or supporting him to third parties. People should remember that and hold them accountable because they're spending with someone who's. supporting political violence.

Now, the reason I say you probably know your way around the winery is because of what's going on on the Republican side. And it's just weird, man. Just weird. We had Winsom's Hears on the program yesterday. And I pointed out, and I like Winsom's Hears, I support her programs.

But I pointed out this Washington Post poll where she's 13 points. She's trailing by 13 points, and Winsom's here says, No, no, no, I'm actually winning. This is all within the margin of error. Um I really? I I don't know about that, Josh.

Look, I mean Virginia is always a bellwether state after the presidential election.

So if we go back to 2021, with Glenn Young, and President Biden had just taken office. The polling early in the race had tightened, was quite a gap between him and Terry McLaughlin had tightened up. But honestly, by the time it got to November, if young can coming out on top, And look, I'm not in the Windsom campaign. I'm not behind the scenes on this. But I will say if you compare the polling numbers from 2021 to now, they're not as optimistic.

And secondly, I'll say the fundraising and the spending side of things is absolutely abysmal when it comes to Republicans versus Democrats this side. Democrats have spent roughly on the governor's race alone 20 to 25 million. Republicans have spent between Between two to five million in ad spending.

So we're just absolutely getting outspent, which is obviously not a good sign. And to show you how crazy it is, this is the one headline that has actually not. You know, breaking out onto the national scene. This is from the Advocate and their reporting of the Lieutenant Governor's race, which has its own issues. This is the headline, Josh.

Gay Virginia Republican plagued by Nazi porn scandal brags that running mate is 100% against marriage equality. What? Yeah, it's like I will say, the craziest tackle in Virginia. I don't want you to even weigh in on that. This is insanity.

Oh my god. It is crazy. I mean, from the top of the kicket to the bottom, you have. Stuff going on all across the board right now. Yeah, and based on that headline, I don't think you want to be anywhere on the bottom or the top.

So to speak. Yeah, it's a lot going on. I mean, Um yeah, I I mean if you get down to the delegate race for second thing about those you know, two individuals being arrested by the FBI, I mean, it is absolutely crazy to style. Wow. Golly.

Glenn Youngkin's just sitting back going, I am glad I'm out of here. Yeah, he got. Got in and out at a good time. Yes, he did. All right.

Well, Josh, we're going to continue the conversation. I won't bring up the Nazi porn stuff tonight on the national TV show. That's just. It's just weird. It's weird.

I mean, you would think that if you've got a gay lieutenant governor running on the Republican side and there are these Nazi porn allegations, you would think that would be like the lead story.

But there's so much chaos going on, so much scandal happening in Virginia right now that people are just. It's a concerning thing for Republicans because Virginia is a lot like Kansas. And just out of the blue, there's really no rhyme or reason. They'll be. They'll vote Democrat, they'll vote Republican, and there's no rhyme or reason to it.

And I think that's what we may see here. That's why it's going to be very hard to see if Virginia is going to be a bellwether. For For the midterms. That's what I'm getting at. The But I'm telling you, these races are disgusting in Virginia.

Okay. You know? And I met the President of Somalia, I told him about the problem he's got. I said, you have somebody from Somalia who's telling us how to run our country. She's from Somalia.

He said, would you like to take her back? He said, no, I don't want her.

Okay, you know who I'm talking about. It's true. How bad it is that even Somalia, they don't want Elhan Omar anywhere. Near her, near their country. I will say this about President Trump.

He actually has a very good point here. Who do people like Ilhan Omar think they are? These people ought to be kissing the very ground they walk on. They should be so thankful to be Americans, but instead they come to our country, they take our resources, then they turn around and tell us what a bad people we are. I got a problem with that.

It's it's just insane. Oh, by the way, the President also This is going to set off the Democrats. This is great. President Trump is telling the Democrats they have got to reopen the government. This is all on them.

Cut 17. Because these Democrats are like insurrectionists, okay? They they're so bad for our country.

So their policy is so bad for our country. I said, let's see if we can get it all done in the bay. And everybody said it's not doable. Because it's the biggest bill ever passed in the history of our country. And we get it all done.

We don't need anything else. We got everything we want.

Well, it's true, and they are insurrectionist. And The president also suggested that he might be willing.

Now, the headlines are off on this because the headlines are. Trump to declare an insurrection in Chicago. No, that's not what the president said. The president said that that the option is on the table, and if the Democrats don't do and the governor, J.B. Pritzker, doesn't do what needs to be done, then they'll go in and do it for him.

So therefore, I mean, you could insinuate that the President was saying that, yeah, if the Democrats don't do their job, we are going to go in, we'll declare an insurrection, and we'll take care of business. I'm curious, how do you feel about it? You know, a lot of people feel very uneasy about the president dispatching the National Guard. They're really upset about it. Even some on the Republican side had They're saying the President is overstepping his position.

But I don't think so. I think that we are in such a bad way as a nation that we do need to be sending in the National Guard. And quite frankly, I have no problem with the military doing doing their training in some of these these urban areas. I got no problem with that. Because the country is so screwed up right now.

And in spite of all of that, The American people, in spite of all the negative news coverage, the American people, they're able to see through all of this. CNN has brand new polling data out. Take a listen to Cut Six. Trump, you know, you go back to October of 2024, 44% of the American public viewed him favorably.

Now, despite everything, Look at this, 43%, which is well within the margin of error of that 44%. And here's the thing to keep in mind. This was good enough to get Trump re-elected back in 2024. And Donald Trump is basically at the same point here right now, which I think would surprise a lot of folks, especially a lot of folks on the left, who very much disagree with a lot of what Donald Trump is doing.

So what do you see is underneath that and driving that? Why is he basically the same?

Okay, you know, to quote the esteemed collar Dennis Greene, the former head coach in the National Football League, Donald Trump is who the voters thought he was. What are we talking about here?

Well, is Trump doing what he promised in the 2024 campaign? Yes, 52%, the majority of Americans say that Donald Trump is doing what he promised compared to 48% who said no.

So what essentially is going on here is the voters expected all of this from Donald Trump. The majority did. And that is why his favorite rating simply put has not really moved all that much compared to where it was a year ago. Trump is basically doing what the American people thought. thought that he was going to do.

Indeed, if you look at the numbers, Trump has basically the steadiest favorable rating this much through a presidency of any president on record, and it's basically where he was a year ago, good enough to get him reelected. All right. Wow. That guy, you know, I like him. He's a kind of an acquired taste.

But he's he doesn't have like a a soft inside voice. Or or you know, he's got the outside voice like he's at a at a ball game or a NASCAR race. Hello, Todd. How are you doing today? You look very nice in your Brooks Brothers shirt.

Yeah. Hello, Dylan. How are you today? You see, I'm even holding back because I don't want to blow out our microphones here. If you're going to have someone reading off poll numbers, wouldn't you want him to do it?

Exactly. Or the weather. Oh my god, it's gonna be a sunny day. Yeah. All you people in Pottersville, Oklahoma.

You're gonna get a tan. You gotta love the guy. He makes it fun. I mean, usually when you're doing the polling stuff, sometimes it's not all that fun. But the guy makes it fun, so well done.

Out there laying down the facts of what's happening with the Schumer shutdown. I want you to listen to what the speaker had to say earlier today on Capitol Hill. Cut 14, please.

Okay, I'm going to start with. Leader Schumer's record because he is leading the opposition and he is the one telling the Democrats to keep the government shut down. Chuck Schumer has been in Congress for 44 years. He was first elected to the House in 1981. Just for reference, I was nine years old.

I was in the third grade when Chuck Schumer came here to Congress. Throughout his entire career, he has been very, very consistent about the necessity of keeping the government open. Until just now. In fact, I want to read to you an excerpt from seven months ago. His fourth speech on March 13, 2025, This is Senator Chuck Schumer.

in March of this year. Quote, on the Senate floor. While the CR bill is very bad, The potential for a shutdown has consequences for America that are much, much worse. I believe it is my job to make the best choice for the country to minimize the harms of the American people. Therefore, I will vote to keep the government open and not shut it down.

⁇ All right, there you have it. And again, this is the Schumer shutdown, everybody. No way around that. Congressman, I hope you are doing well today.

We are. Thanks for the opportunity, Pod, and I really appreciate your kind words about Speaker Johnson. They are well earned. This is a man of principle and has done his best to not only keep the government open, but keep the sanity here in Washington, DC.

So, first of all, let's talk about the CR, which was a clean CR, there was nothing attached to it. The Democrats wanted to pile on. Where would the CR, let's just say the CR had been approved. How long would that have, where would that have gotten us? It would have gotten us to the November twenty one.

And for your listeners, one thing that's been a total misstatement by the press, as usual, is this. They keep on saying, why won't we negotiate? We actually did negotiate before this whole mess began. We went to the Democrats and said, we want to have the normal budget process. We need a few more weeks because of all the effort we put on the big, beautiful bill.

So give us a few more weeks. We'll do a clean CR. And let's have it till January.

Well, the Democrats said no, can you make it till the end of November? We agreed to that. The second point I'd make, Todd, to your point, is we made this a clean CR. No political gimmicks, games, and it's the exact same one as you just mentioned from Chuck Schumer that took place in March.

So we negotiated with Democrats saying a clean CR and let's do it in November instead of January. That was our concession to them. And here they are screaming, yelling, saying we never sat down and talked to them. That's the misnomer that's out there and why we're simply trying to do the right thing and move back to a regular budget process, which, by the way, the Senate has not done since 1996. That's just so insane and so infuriating because that's pretty much the main responsibility you guys have up there.

And it's clearly outlined in the Constitution. We're the ones who are supposed to pass budgets. We have moved forward. As you know, we passed all twelve budget bills out of the individual committees. We passed three off the floor.

We're getting real close. And the Democrats is as the hypocrisy of Chuck Schumer. Again, he was elected to Congress in 1980, began serving in 81, as the speaker said. And this guy has been at least consistent about one thing: keeping the government open is kind of a good idea. After all, taxpayers pay for it.

They deserve to get the services. at least they're paying for in taxes, and that's not the case. And I can say as a freshman member, it's infuriating to me that, one, they don't tell the truth, and two, all their ransom note to keep the government open is $1.5 trillion. And now their second part of the ransom is if they don't do all the Obamacare subsidies, that's another $350 billion on top of the $1.5 trillion. Wow.

So right now, you've got about 2 million workers that are not getting paid. About 750,000 or so have been told not to come in. And now we're starting to get the complaints. I think there was some reporting from CBS News earlier today that there are flight delays around the nation because of a lack of air traffic controllers. Again, that very well may be the case, but that's not on the Republicans.

That's on Chuck Schumer. I couldn't agree more, and that's why I voted yes to keep the government open. Look, I'm a conservative, I'm a Republican, I'm not an anarchist. And there is a role for government, especially to protect life, liberty, and property. As we're seeing around the country, the president is trying to do in places like Portland and Chicago.

But that said, this is a no-brainer for this reason. If nothing else, this is a thing that also infuriates me. All these folks who are on furlough. Meaning they don't go to work. Will get paid once the government shutdown is over, and it will end at some point.

So, in other words, these people are not working, literally not allowed to work, but they will get their full paycheck.

Now, they might get it late. But they're going to be paid for that time that you're not putting in. Is that true? Because there's there's some reporting out of Politico that there's uh some sort of a White House memorandum circling around that says furloughed workers might not be getting back pay. That's not true, first of all.

Second of all, now it's a whole nother ball game if they get fired. That's a different scenario. But this, again, as you put it perfectly, this is on the Democrats. Republicans have been near unanimous. In the House, and of course, near unanimous in the Senate.

I think only the Kentucky Representative and Senator are voting no on these.

So that said, we're for keeping the government open. Again, people have paid for these services. I mean, how infuriating would it be you go to a hotel, you pay for certain services, and then they tell you the next morning, sorry, even though you paid for it, we're not gonna provide this service. That's what's happening right now and to no one's benefit because you're not saving a nickel because these people who work for the government that are furloughed are going to be paid when the government opens back up. You know, Congressman, I'm curious about November 21st.

What happens if we've still got a shutdown on November 21st?

Well Again, the whole point is that there's nothing happening right now. There is no November 21st. All we are is shut down. That was the date in which the CR would continue. But there is no CR because the Democrats have voted to keep.

the government closed.

So that said, we're in this flux. And we also have to take on these Obamacare subsidies. And what's really important also, again, here is The Obamacare, they said, would lower prices and let you keep your doctor. That is not true. Everybody knows that these subsidies are necessary because Obamacare is so darn expensive.

And of course, anybody on Obamacare knows that they did not get to keep their doctor.

So the lie of the whole Obamacare is just that they said one thing, totally did another, and it has absolutely destroyed our health care system, which was the best in the world. All right. Well, it was. It was, and I can tell you, that concerns me. There's.

There are just so many dumpster fires burning as a result of these failed Democrat policies going all the way back, Congressman, to the Obama administration. And I just hope that President Trump is going to be able to undo a lot of that damage in just four years.

Well, that's our hope as well. That's why I agreed to get back into politics. Literally, the Democrats created this dumpster fire with health care. They created the dumpster fire of the economy with the inflation numbers because they overspent. And they, of course, created all the chaos overseas, whether it be Afghanistan, Israel, Ukraine.

We're trying to clean it up, and here they are. telling us that it was our fault. Only only the it's it's as the speaker said, it's shameless at this point. Oh, it is.

So, how does that work for your office? I mean, do your staffers there in the congressional office are they considered essential personnel? Yeah, so they are at work, and they are not going to be paid if we get to, I believe, October the 15th. I, of course, have given up my paycheck until we open the government up as well. We need to lead by example, but my district office is open, and my, of course, my congressional office here in Washington is open.

But here's the hard part. They're taking information from our Constituents that call in, but when they go to talk to the VA or Social Security or IRS or maybe the passport agency, most of those are closed or short staffs. They're not getting the services, again, they paid for. happening at the VA as well.

So, this is the joke that is going on. We need to open the government up. People have paid for this, they deserve the services they paid for, or that they earned when they were in the military, or they earned, of course, being on Social Security because they worked for a lifetime.

Well said. All right. Well, Congressman, we're going to leave it there. And again, folks, if you call in and you've got to complain about something, just remember the kids answering the phones aren't getting a paycheck right now.

So be nice.

Okay, she's not one of our people, folks. She is still a leftist, and I hope that she brings some fairness and some balance to CBS, but that's unlikely.

So anyway, she was doing an interview with Joe Rogan. Explaining how the replacement theory is a myth. And Christianity has its origins in anti-Semitism. No, I'm not making this up. Take a listen.

When I heard Jew won like the Jews will not replace us, right? I heard it in like the plain meaning of that w Like The Jew is not going to take my job. The Jew is not going to like take my job in the corner office or whatever. But in fact, it was like a reflection of this replacement theory ideology, which is that. Brown people and black people and Muslims and immigrants are coming to replace our white civilization and the The Jews' job is basically to pass as a white person, but in fact do the bidding of these people that we deem to be not pure.

Where does that come from? That is a Deeply, deeply ancient anti-Semitic conspiracy theory, right? It's the idea of, well, let's go back to. The New The New Testament. Let's go back to To Jesus, right?

What happens in that story? The story there is that. The Jews go to Pontius Pilate and say, you know, Like This person's unacceptable to us. And in the mythology of that story, the Jews get. what was then the most powerful empire in the world, the Roman Empire, to do their bidding.

And you have this line in the book of Matthew that is so, so I mean, the the bloodiness of this line cannot be quantified, where he says, you know, his blood be on us and on our children. Which goes down through the centuries to justify the killing of untold numbers of Jews. But the idea of the Jew. As sort of like the wily manipulator, as the Jew as having proximity to power, not being in power, but being able to sort of be the puppet master pulling the levers of power. You see that play out in lots of different iterations through time, right?

You see it. I'm trying to think about useful examples. For your listeners, but that is sort of the trope, right? And it is an ancient one, but it's being utilized in really new ways.

So it's not literally that the Jew is going to replace us, is that the Jew who, the Jew in a way, is sort of like the greatest trick the devil has ever played. And this is the language of Eric Ward, who wrote this amazing essay called Skin in the Game. And he talks he's an he's a black anti-racist activist. And he talks about figuring out how anti-Semitism is kind of the linchpin of white supremacy. because the Jew appears to be white.

But in fact, he's not white. I mean, this is all based on this lie that race is not a social const, that race is not a construct, right? Which it is. But they're saying that the Jew is not white, but he appears to be white, but in fact, he's loyal to these people who are coming to sully America. And so when you have someone like Congressman Steve King saying, we can't replace our civilization with someone else's babies, like what does that mean?

What is that idea? It is so deeply anti-American because the idea of America, right, is the idea that Americanness is not about bloodline. Americanness is about a shared set of values and ideas and fealty to those ideas.

So the idea that someone else is, what does that mean?

Well, it doesn't make any sense because this entire country is based on immigrants. Of course. And, you know, as we talked about with the Native Americans, I mean, you wanna re we have replaced our country. I mean, we we've we've taken over their country. I mean, it was theirs first.

All right. So, anyway, you got a sort of a flavor of who Barry Weiss is going to be. And she's she's an opponent, don't get me wrong, she's an opponent of the the wokeness and the the cancel culture, which I do appreciate. But the reality is, is that going to move the needle at CBS News? I don't think so.

I hope it does, but I don't think so. And what she didn't seem to understand or grasp is that there is something called the replacement theory, and it's happening in our country right now with the millions and millions of illegals that were allowed to invade our nation. This was all done intentionally. with the hopes of destabilizing the United States of America. I mean, that was the endgame.

And it's working and it well, it was up until Donald Trump took office, and Trump is trying to reverse course. It's like he slammed on the brake right before we uh we hit the cliff.

This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. As I mentioned, it is a very busy primary day in the volunteer state in the state of Tennessee. A major congressional race to replace Mark Green, who resigned his congressional seat. One of those individuals running is Jody Barrett, who has the backing of John Rich and just about every America First. Tennessean in the state.

Jody, good to have you with us today. Todd, so good to be here. Be with you on a rainy election day. Yeah, I'm curious: how is turnout there in the district today?

Well, I think it's probably about what you'd expect on a special But the Folks have actually been braving the weather and been getting out there. Our volunteers all over the district have been sending back pretty positive reports. uh in Williamson County in particular through midday through about 1220 today. There's been About 1,100 Republican votes cast. just in that one county alone.

Hopefully that's uh promising thing for the rest of the day. Jody, I want to cut right to the chase. We kind of do that on this show, and it's really troubling that the White House came out, endorsed Matt Van Epps, who is, I got to tell you, I don't know much about the guy, but what I do know, and especially his actions during the China virus crisis, it's troubling that he got the nod because it sounds to me like this guy may be a rhino.

Well, sir, you're not sure. you've been around this this business for quite some time and and around DC and I think you know how these things go. There are a lot of favors that get called in and particularly late in the game like this when An endorsement comes in after or Um Yeah, it's has a a certain error of desperation about it as a hail Mary. pass here at the last last second to try to Come from behind and steal a victory here. But our people are Out working hard.

We're going to make sure that we put our firewall up today and try to hold on to what we think is a pretty good lead coming out of early voting. What can you tell us? I know we have a lot of listeners across the nation, but especially in Tennessee, in that seventh congressional district, what is it that concerns you about? Your opponent, Matt Van Epps.

Well, I think the primary concern that most people have expressed Is he just doesn't have a record having served with Governor Lee and his administration, and as you mentioned. Serving on his COVID. task force and being in charge of implementing mask mandates and And COVID mandates and uh or for vaccines and And really, also being a veteran and being on the Lee administration. When National Guardsmen were being laid off or fired for refusal. to take the vaccine and not really do anything.

demonstrative to to speak out and stand up for his fellow service members is is concerning. But Without having any type of voting record, we don't really know. what he's going to do if he were to to get in this seat and get up there and and be able to push the Yeah. I keep telling folks you've got three years of a track record with me. Always doing the right thing, having a hundred percent voting record from two different agencies.

Uh you don't have to guess what type of congressman I'm going to be. Uh you know, between my record and the endorsement of the House Freedom Caucus, I think you you know exactly what type of of leader, I want to be in that position. I am curious about the reaction from conservatives there after the endorsement. Are you still getting their support? And what are you hearing from the America First Conservatives in Tennessee?

We'll start off. be completely honest with you, it looked like it may have actually backfired. on the Van Eps campaign. It was a pretty negative response. I think we've recorded a Over a thousand negative social media comments in response to the endorsement.

late on Friday. I think folks are are seeing this as if the President was getting some bad advice. I don't think anybody believes that He is has personal Yeah. uh contact or or experience with mister Van Eps. And so He's going on the advice of folks around him and and people here in Tennessee.

They see through it. What's been going on, where all the money's been coming from with Club for Growth and others that have been attacking me for three months and. They're not buying it.

So they're sticking with me. Yeah, they have been attacking you. And one of the interesting attacks is your opposition to expanding school vouchers in Tennessee. Correct me if I'm wrong here. I saw some reporting that they were actually using those vouchers to start Islamic schools.

Is that true? Well, what there was some reporting that came out in the last couple of weeks uh as we're Or just slow. starting to get information released. From the Lee administration about how this process is. is being implemented.

But the reporting shows that there were were four schools in Tennessee that are Islamic schools. That are qualified to accept the vouchers. And at least two of them that we know of are receiving. taxpayer funded school voucher. And when you go to those places, school's websites and look up their curriculum.

them and And uh what they're what they're teaching those students. particularly as they progress into the middle school and high school grades, they are are teaching and promoting Sharia law as part of they're Islamic. Phase.

Well, that's troubling. And Congressman, or I'm calling you Congressman already, but Representative Barrett, there's a lot to be concerned about, and there are a lot of troubling things. The amount of money that's coming in from out of state. To bolster these Rhino candidates. I I didn't expect to see that happening in, of all places, Tennessee.

Well It's very troubling and and I think throughout the campaign is we've had Candidate forums in all 14 of the counties in this district. That was a common question and concern. The effect of the Citizens United ruling and how that has allowed the influence of. all of this outside dark money to come flowing into these campaigns. And Yeah, take the clear.

when you have grassroots conservatives like myself. who rely heavily on funding from the folks right here in the district. multi you know, small donors and having as many of those as possible. It makes it really tough to compete when you have big establishment groups. with billionaires funding them with three, four hundred thousand, five hundred thousand dollar checks At a time uh makes it really really difficult to to drown out some of that noise that gets flooded into the district.

But I I've been proud of the folks. that are here on the ground, they're not buying it. Like I said, they They know who I am. Born and raised here in this district, grew up. Right here in this town that I represent now.

And the folks The the more they keep sending those attack ads, the more fired up. My people are to go. Vote for me.

Well, I'm glad to hear that because the polling data that's out there, you've been leading in the polls. And I was talking to Steve Gill, our good friend. He comes on to provide political analysis. His take on all this is that The establishment is concerned about you because they don't think they'll be able to control you and that you would be a lawmaker along the lines of like an MTG or someone like that. How do you respond to that?

Well I Don't, you know, again, I don't know that I want to be compared to anyone. My, my, I guess, modus operandi over the last three years. My approach to this is as a representative in a legislative body. My job is to be the sounding board and the the conduit for the people to have their voice heard. And so those orders are supposed to come from from the ground up.

I'm supposed to uh do what the people would do if they were sitting in the chair say what the they would say and vote the way they would vote. And that is a good contrast. With with my main opponent and challenger. Matt Van Epps and that he is with his military background in West Point. Uh degree.

Trained his entire adult life to take orders from on high and deliver those orders and enforce them to the folks below. And uh I have the complete opposite approach where I know I take this that I work for the people and my job is the spoke. is supposed to be Yeah. to the folks above me. uh with the with the people behind me Pushing me and holding me up the whole way.

And you see, this is the van, that's the thing about Van Epps. I mean, this guy sort of came out of nowhere. I mean, when you look at the Americans for Prosperity poll, you were in the lead, followed by what, Gino Bolso, Lee Reeves. uh who has since dropped out But his name is still going to be on the ballot. And then Van Epps.

So you have the endorsement of the House Freedom Caucus.

So it just looks to me like somebody was getting nervous and they decided to prop up this guy, Van Epps. And I'm not saying anything about his character or anything. I'm just saying that's what it certainly looks like. They're trying to take you out.

Well, there's certain Yeah. The former Congressman Greene, who held the seat. Uh who endorsed Mr. Van Epps very early in Yeah. made no bones about it that uh The military relationship there was important.

Important to him. And then he's been campaigning and calling in favors. And you have Jim Jordan that came in and endorsed Mr. Van Epst as well. And then shortly after that, all of this money started kind of flowing in.

with, like I said, Club for Growth and Ken Griffin, the billionaire in Chicago. uh Jeff Yass and those guys. And so Um yeah, I think that they've been rattled. they've not been able to really make any of these attacks stick and my lead has kind of not only held steady, but grown and extended. even in the face of those attacks.

So I think again, This endorsement late in the game by the President was was probably a bit of a Uh a last alarm to try to You know, throw a Hail Mary at the end of the game and hope that they could pull something out. It sounds to me like, and I'm just speculating here, but maybe the governor called in a favor. uh because the governor is so upset with me about The National Guard in Memphis, and I'm wondering if the White House felt like they needed to give him a bone.

Well, I'll be honest. With you, with the governor having been in office for seven years, there's a question there as to why we had to wait for President Trump. To take action or offer the National Guard's assistant. and assistance and you know asking why the governor did didn't this action on his own or this own initiative.

sometime in the last six years, because this is not a new issue in Memphis. uh the issue with crime and and out of control gang activity and Um violent issues going on there's something that's been going on. for many decades. Um I I'm loaded. disappointed that it took the President.

making a big to-do about it in order for For Governor Lee to get on board with that. Oh, good point. All right, Jody, I know you've got a busy day. You've got to get out there and meet voters. Where can people go if they want to get information about your campaign?

This is. You buried the lead, Jody Barrett. What? Ha ha ha.

Well I was very proud to get Cammy to endorsed me in the last few weeks. She reached out to me and my wife asked to meet with us. We had lunch and talked about things and And after that conversation, she offered her endorsement. without me soliciting And so I was Very proud to have it and and uh she's She's been a good friend. Yeah.

A good supporter along the way.

Well, I'm glad to hear that. I'll fill the audience in on the back story there. I'm going to let you hang up, though. But, Jody, good luck to you out there today. Thank you, sir.

I appreciate it. All right. There you go. Good man, right there, Jody Barrett. really getting screwed right now, but but I'm telling you That the voters of Tennessee, and I think we're seeing this in other places around the country, you guys are starting to rise up and say, you know what, we're not gonna fall for this rhino stuff.

So, real quick backstory here: Congressman Green, who we had on as a regular member of the, I mean, he's on all the time.

Well, he ended up. shanking up with the um with some uh young young chick And Mrs. Green, who is at home and Good church-going Christian woman, she wrote a letter to every spouse up on Capitol Hill and laid it all out and said, Ladies, you gotta watch out for your men. And uh he filed for a divorce. Wanting to shack up with a younger woman.

It's pretty despicable.

So that's why, quite frankly, I'd rather have her endorsement than his. That's pretty awful. Pretty terrible thing that that they did to misses Green. All right, we got to take a break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number.

That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. Uh oh, so Christine Ohm, our Homeland Security Secretary, has just landed. Boots on the ground in Portland, Oregon. And looks like she's ready for business.

The National Guard heading to both cities, Portland and Chicago. We understand from Texas about 300 or 400 children. Troops.

So there's going to be a lot of movement. And you watch what's going to happen. I would not put it past the president to declare an insurrection, especially in Portland. And Chicago, where you've got police. being told to stand down and not offer any assistance Any aid to any of the officers.

Our good buddy, Sheriff Grady Judd, down in Florida, had something to say about that. Take a listen to Cut Eight. have never Heard of one law enforcement agency not helping another when they call for help. Until this weekend. When a chief of patrol where the Chicago Police Department Instructed the police officers not to run in and help.

Their colleagues who were calling for help, who were under attack. By a bunch of people clearly violating the law. That's scary. Let me give you the antithesis of that. We had a single man.

Resist ICE agents. and get away from them in our community. We sent a helicopter A drone? canine And 50 law enforcement officers to surround an area, and we found that guy. who violently resisted ice.

and we locked him up. in jail where he should have been. If you allow anarchists. and criminals. to run wild in your community.

People will die. People will be shocked.

Now let me say this. For other law enforcement leaders across this state and nation, you need to be standing up saying the same exact thing that I am. Because when you have a breakdown of the rule of law, When you allow anarchist. criminals to take over the streets. and attack law enforcement officers and then not send them help?

That's a slippery slope.

Well, it is a slippery slope, and to put those law enforcement officers in that position. I mean, you wonder. How many of them would actually defy those orders and go and help those federal officers who are under attack? But it's it's going to get ugly and it's it's going to get uglier. No doubt about it.

But this is all on the Democrats. This is what they've been wanting. They've wanted this lawlessness, they've wanted the Republicans. to play hardball here, and we're playing hardball. By the way, the president just a little while ago.

said this That they have identified programs that will be eliminated and permanently cut as a result of the Schumer shutdown.

So we'll see how all of that plays out throughout the evening as we look for yet another vote. And it looks like maybe, maybe they're getting one other Democrat in the Senate, but they need eight.

So that's not going to happen anytime soon.

So that's where we are, ladies and gentlemen, in a holding pattern. And as you heard, government workers will not be getting paychecks. until the government reopens. If I were you, I'd be calling Democrats And saying, dude. What's going on here?
