Man, happy Monday morning. Luke Symbol here. I'm in the principal Toyota Memphis studio with Kristen New. We are filling in for Todd Starnes here on Starnes Country all week. He is traveling as he does, speaking at conferences, working.
He works hard. And so he's traveling this week. And we are so happy to be here. Good morning, Chris. Good morning.
It is an honor to be here. I told Todd last night I would try not to catch him in FCC violation, but I offer no promises. We'll see how long I last.
Well, it's going to be a good week and a good day today. You know, Last night, yesterday, it wasn't even last night, it was all afternoon yesterday, we saw in the Charlie Cook Memorial something truly remarkable. I don't know, Kristen, that I have ever seen every single basically leader in our country, in the government. in one location Proclaiming unashamedly the gospel of Jesus Christ. Have you ever seen that?
I've never seen that. And we were talking about that even in my household: how every single patriot in the government is on TV right now, broadcasting worldwide. That Jesus Christ is their Savior. It is remarkable. And really, an American revival, and that's what we're going to be talking about today: just Charlie Kirk's legacy, I truly believe, is igniting America's next great awakening.
And so, we want to hear from you 901-260-5926. We're going to be talking, I know we've been talking a lot about Charlie Kirk the past couple weeks, but we're going to be talking about yesterday and the memorial service, this great awakening, this revival spreading across the country. What does it mean to you? Are you encouraged? Have you had a faith experience since Charlie Kirk's assassination?
Are you now attending church again for the first time in a while?
So, this is encouraging. Thank you, May. We are excited to be with you this morning.
So, call in again. That's 901-260-5926. We're going to be playing clips. If you weren't able to catch the Memorial Service, and it was long, Kristen. It was long.
I've never watched anything for five straight hours, I don't think, and been completely mesmerized. And wasn't it riveting? It was the whole time. I had to speak last night in Tipton County at another Charlie Kirk vigil and had to leave in the middle of Erica Kirk's speech eulogy. And so I quickly ran to my car, I turned it to K-Wham and then switched over to the app.
And that's a good reminder, folks. Download the K-Wham, the Mighty 990 app. It's a great way, no matter where you are. I'm sure Todd, as he's traveling the country this week, will be using the K-Wham app. It's really simple.
Download it wherever you download your apps. You open it up, you press play, and you get K-Wham streaming no matter where you are in the world. But I couldn't turn away, really. And Cassie, let's go ahead and play SOT 3 to set. the stage for what what yesterday was all about.
Now I want you to know that Charlie right now is in heaven. Not because He was the great husband and father. Not because he saved millions of kids out of darkness on college campuses. Not because He changed minds and chased votes to save the country. Not because he sacrificed himself for his savior.
Charlie Kirk is in heaven because his Savior sacrificed himself for Charlie Kirk. Man, what An amazing reminder that there is nothing we can do. To save ourselves, but it is solely the blood of Jesus Christ. And that's what was preached yesterday, Christian. And I think it's a reminder that you don't have to be a Charlie Kirk to be saved.
You don't have to go out and do all of these things that Charlie Kirk did. You just have to live your life and live your life for God. And if you do that, Then you will be saved as anybody. Anybody. Everybody has an invite to the table.
What were your thoughts? Like, who was your favorite? Favorite speaker, or what? I mean, there were so many. There were like two dozen speakers yesterday.
You know me, I am a Stephen Miller fan because he brings the fire.
So there are speakers, and they all had their own way of speaking. And some people spoke very calmly and about Christ and what it did for them. And then Stephen Miller comes in. And he just Lays it all out on the table and says, You will not win. Yeah, we have a clip of that.
Can we go ahead and play SOT 2, Stephen Miller? trying to incite violence against us? Those trying to foment hatred against us, what do you have? You have nothing. You are nothing.
You are wickedness, you are jealousy, you are envy, you are hatred. You are nothing. You can build nothing. You can produce nothing. You can create nothing.
We are the ones who build. We are the ones who create. We are the ones who lift up humanity. You thought you could kill Charlie Kirk? You have made him a mortal.
You have immortalized Charlie Kirk. and now millions will carry on his legacy. And we will devote the rest of our lives. To finishing. the causes for which Charlie gave his last measure of devotion.
You cannot defeat us, you cannot slow us, you cannot stop us, you cannot deter us. We will carry Charlie and Erica in our heart. every single day and fight that much harder. because of what you did to us. Man, he brought the fire.
He brought the fire. He is so good. I swear that man is saving our country one day at a time. His fingers are in everything. I mean, I thought he was going to save our country with his immigration policies and just stopping the flow of mass migration, but it's every single issue.
He is so good. You know, and he's speaking directly to the people. Who try to stop this, who sit there and think that they have the power to stop what is coming? They can't stop what is coming. It's bigger than any of us.
It's bigger than any of us. And he is just telling them: give it up. No surrender. We will not surrender to you. That's right.
And what is so important, you know, I've been speaking at these vigils across West Tennessee. I spoke at my fourth one last night. And what I've been trying to say is we really are in a fight between good and evil. And evil fights very differently than our side, right? We saw five years ago when evil was upset, it literally burnt cities to the ground in those BLM protests around the country.
Neighborhoods burnt to the ground. Cops shot. People harmed. And good, how do we fight back? We fight back through revival.
We fight back by saying, folks, get back in church. We fight back by looking at liberty and returning to the founding principles of this country and unashamedly proclaiming our rights come from God, not man. And it is so encouraging. And Stephen Miller, I mean, he fired that crowd up, and he's exactly right. Exactly right.
And evil knows no limits. Evil will. Take your children too. And so that is where some of the speakers, including Erica, came in and said. Your job.
Your job as a parent is to not let them take your kids to Do not separate you and your husband. Do not separate people by race. Do not separate people by political party. We are supposed to be a United States of America, and the only way we can be united is to be united under Christ. That's exactly right.
That is the great unifier. That's the principles on which our country was founded. You know, folks forget that our country's founders were radically Christian. Yes. Maybe with the exception of Benjamin Franklin, but I don't like that.
That's why he's the left's favorite founder, by the way. But, you know, they were radically Christian and they understood. And that's a speaker last night. I don't recall who it was. There was so much good content yesterday.
But he said, Charlie understood that when you point people towards liberty, the natural end result is understanding Christ and understanding where our rights come from. And that's when his pastor asked him to speak in the church. And Charlie Kirk at first wasn't really sure that we should be mixing that. But his pastor said, absolutely. That is a lie.
It is a falsehood that you should. Separate God from our government. Sure.
Well, folks, we want to hear from you. What was your favorite part of the memorial service yesterday? Do you believe that America is in a revival, that the next great awakening is here? And I want to hear from you: how do we participate in that? It's 901-260-5926.
Again, it's Luke and Kristen filling in for Todd Starnes this morning. We are going to cut to break. Commander Chuck, with your traffic update, is coming up, and we will talk to you on the other side. Health insurance rates are surging in America, leaving millions without affordable options. If you're sick of having paychecks eaten up by health care costs or dealing with mega corporations, then listen to this.
Christians don't need to waste money on a broken system. That's why I want to tell you about Christian Healthcare Ministries. It's an alternative to traditional health insurance at half the cost. With CHM, fellow believers contribute monthly to help pay each other's medical bills. There's no enrollment period, so you can join anytime.

Join CHM today by visiting chministries.org/slash wellness. That's chministries.org/slash wellness. One more time. Hey, folks, it's Luke Symbol and Kristen New with you this morning on Starns Country. We are in the Principal Toyota Memphis studio, and that was a clip of the worship portion of the memorial.
For Charlie. You're going to make me cry again. Man. You know, and I got to tell you, folks. There were there was three hours of worship.
Done before the memorial on the live stream, and you had the most popular, well-known. A contemporary Christian artist unashamedly worshiping and leading a crowd of 70,000 people in that stadium and millions across the world watching. I mean, you had that was Brandon Lake, you had Phil Wickham, Carrie Job, Chris Tomlin. Just the most popular, like I said, contemporary Christian artists, and good for them for unashamedly saying we are gonna honor the life of Charlie Kirk. Through worship to our Savior.
Wasn't that encouraging? That was incredible. And, you know, it just speaks to that. I do believe that people are starting to realize that there is a good side. Yeah.
And if you're not on it, it's time to get on it. And as Christians, we are going to welcome you to the side of the prodigal sons. We are going to say, please come, see what we already know. You are welcome. Big tent here.
Come on. No matter what you have done, you are welcome in our family, in our Christian family. Really, really was encouraged by that. And folks, were you encouraged? 901-260-5926.
Give us a call. Let us know your thoughts. You know, Kristen, folks don't know this. I grew up in a family. My parents were church planters.
And so up in the Rochester, New York area.
So dad was a pastor, mom was a school teacher, but it really was an entire family endeavor, literally starting churches from scratch. And so, you know, grew up listening to Chris Tomlin and very familiar with this contemporary worship music. And I think a lot of the country has never been exposed to it. And they. Had never seen these positive, uplifting songs like that, like drums and guitars and real singing.
Yeah, right. And so I hope it was encouraging to folks. And you know, it's a way that these people use their God-giving gifts for God. And that is something that we need to get back to and not use the gifts that God gave us in order to project evil or bad messaging. They are projecting.
The messaging that our children and that we, even as adults, need to hear. Yeah, you know, actually, our President of the United States, Donald Trump, talked about that need for a spiritual reawakening. We're going to go to SOT 10. There we go. It should be no surprise that Charlie, who spent his life speaking with the critics of these traditions, ultimately became convinced.
That we needed not just a political realignment, but also a spiritual reawakening. We did. And we have to bring back religion to America because without borders, law and order, and religion. You really don't have a country anymore. We want religion brought back.
To America, we want to bring God back into our beautiful USA like never before. We want God back. Charlie would have been so pleased to hear his friends and colleagues today giving testimony and. Giving glory to God. I mean the foundation and that's what's so amazing about Trump is he realizes the foundation of a good government in a good country is God.
Yeah. And he just professed that. Yeah. Wasn't that amazing? I mean, to have the President of the United States proclaiming the.
that our country is a Christian country. Um, so encouraging, and every single speaker yesterday proclaiming the same thing. Um, we had already talked about that. That's what true unity is. You know, folks talk about the needing to unify, and I don't necessarily agree that we need to unify with people who are diametrically opposed to us.
Yes, we can be respectful to everyone, but I'm not necessarily going to unify them. We don't unify with evil, yeah, we don't do that, yeah. But we invite them to say, leave that life behind and come over here and see. Taste and see as we hear about that in church. Come do that.
And I promise you, your life will be changed. Uh it it And there was a declaration that ultimately our fight is not this partisan Republican-Democrat fight, but it's just really the spiritual fight. And it's the underpinnings of what you believe in general about life, right? Like, do you believe that? There is a God who created you, and you are below him, right?
And there are these universal truths that we as man cannot change, or do you believe that you are God? And that's really the separation between the two. And that's why people are struggling with this because for so long we were told that we are in charge of our lives and we are for an ex you know as an extent, but but you. You cannot do it without God. Yeah.
You cannot do it on your own. And if you try to do it on your own, you will fail. Yeah, that's something Tucker Carlson has been talking a lot about. He's been talking a lot about it recently. And he spoke last night.
Let's go to SOT 1. It's real. This is the most unbelievable thing I think I've ever seen. And I don't Whatever happens next in America, I hope it's in this direction because God is here and. You can feel it.
And Charlie would have loved this, not just because He loved large groups of people, but because ultimately he was a Christian evangelist. And it actually reminds me of my favorite story ever.
So it's about 2,000 years ago in Man, that was every speaker. Hey, we have a caller who's calling in. We just have about a minute and a half before we break, but let's go to Linda in Germantown. Hey, listen, I just thought about this and I'll make it quick. I find it interesting that who whatever speaker you thought was the best really reflects your personality you know what that's a good point See, Chrissy, you are unapolog unapologetic.
Firebrand. And even Miller really spoke to me. It's really spoke to me, yes.
Okay. where I am more introverted and old school and I like Secretary Rubios. He really surprised me. Yet, but I probably missed half of Erica's speech because I was ugly crying curled up on the sofa.
So, anyway, I just thought that was really interesting. And I love you guys. And great show. Linda, that is such a good point. And that just shows you that no matter.
What? crisis for everyone. And so they had different speakers and they had their different way of sharing their message, but it's going to resonate.
Somebody is going to resonate with you.
Well, thanks for calling in, Linda. What else, folks? What was your favorite part of the memorial service yesterday? And do you believe that we are in the midst of revival? 901-260-5926, give us a call, Linda.
We love talking to you. Thanks for calling in. You know, I am hearing, and I've experienced this myself. The churches are full, Kristen. They are full.
They are full. And I was just watching on Facebook this morning while I was drinking my coffee, waking up, a good friend of mine whose daughter goes to Ole Miss. Committed her life to the Lord and was baptized this weekend and said, There's something happening on campuses across the country, and it is so encouraging. And I really think that this is the next great awakening. And it's because courage is contagious.
And so you needed somebody like Charlie. And then last night, having everybody tell you that this is the way. And that's what I liked about Tucker's speech because he said, This is the way. And that mimics John 14:6. That this is the way, the truth, the life.
Nobody comes through the Lord except through me. Tucker mimicked that message to the entire world. Folks, what are you seeing? Are your churches full? Are you in a congregation?
Are you listening to a pastor who talked about Charlie Kirk and his legacy and the evil that assassinated him? offering encouragement to the folks searching for hope. We want to hear from you. Again, that's 901-260-5926. We are going to go to some news, traffic, weather coming up.
And so stay tuned, folks. Keep listening to us. Download that Mighty 990 app, and we will be right back. Americans have a big health care problem. Over 100 million U.S.
citizens carry medical debt, but that's not the whole story. With health insurance, your out-of-pocket and monthly costs are way too high. You get surprise bills, denied claims, and poor customer service. That's a serious burden. As Christians, we don't have to pay for a broken system.
Christian Healthcare Ministries is an alternative to health insurance at half the cost. You can enroll at any time and join a proven faith-based solution that's both reliable and affordable. CHM isn't just help, it's financial and spiritual support when you need it most. Families across the country count on CHM to step in during their hardest moments. And it works.
Stand up to health insurance with a low-cost, Biblical solution. Join CHM today by visiting chministries.org/slash wellness. That's chministries.org slash wellness. All right. Memphis.
Luke Symbol here with Kristen New. We are filling in in the principal Toyota Memphis studio for the great Todd Starnes. On Starrance Country.
Sorry about that. Hey, hey, hey, we're doing well. We're doing all right, Cassie. I think we're holding our own. We're doing okay, we're doing all right.
Okay, so back. Man, we're talking about the great American revival that really, I mean, the past 12 days has just. Kicked off with the unimaginable assassination of Charlie Kirk. What an amazing, amazing person. And we are feeling, we are seeing a revival sweep across the country.
And I really believe that this is the next great awakening. And, you know, Kristen, something that I've been thinking a lot about was our country was founded on the idea that we were a shining city on a hill. We were supposed to be this nation that shown to the rest of the world what it meant to be a country that believed in biblical principles, that was founded. Like we mentioned earlier, the founders of our country, they were pretty radical Christians, with the exception of Benjamin Franklin. It's going to scare a lot of people, and we can remain a country if we can keep it.
But we're going to be attacked. They already knew that. They knew we were going to be attacked and probably attacked from within. Yes. And here we are witnessing that.
So all of this is coming true. Yeah. And we know we have the playbook. We just need to follow it. Yeah, we've heard from a couple of folks this morning.
Friends, call in 901-260-5926. What was your favorite part of the memorial service yesterday? How are you feeling this morning? Yeah. Like, did you wake up feeling good this morning?
Because I have been mourning Charlie like I knew him. And every day, you know, and that kind of those thoughts come in waves, and you're just like, oh my gosh, they just assassinated Charlie. Charlie Kirk. And that realization would kind of take me over a little bit. But then after last night I just know it's going to be okay.
Didn't it feel? I mean, they kept saying this is a turning point, but didn't yesterday feel like a turning point? I think it did. It was almost like a yes, this terrible tragedy occurred. Yes, we have mourned, but by golly, we're pressing on.
And let me read this: you know, Fox 13 Memphis posted about the memorial service, and they said, You can't make this stuff up. This is how they ended their post. They said, Uh speakers also repeatedly told conservative activists, sometimes in forceful tones, that the best way to honor Kirk was doubling down on his mission to remove American or to move American politics further to the right. Yeah. You know what, Fox 13?
That's exactly right. Deal with it. Yeah, deal with it. You're right. When you look at liberty, when you look at the values upon which this country was founded, and we want to return to those values, yeah, maybe we do move a little bit to the right.
And I'm not apologizing for it. I am not apologizing. And I think that's the message that Stephen Miller and others said last night. We are no longer hiding it or apologizing for it, it is out in the open. And you can either join us.
Or deal with it. And you know, something that I thought was just so profound yesterday was Erica Kirk's eulogy. I mean, I heard. Her strength.
Okay, I couldn't do it. I've got to be honest. I would be a mess. I would have tears streaking down my face. I would snot all over President Trump's nice suit.
I don't know how she can. Do it because I couldn't. I'm not Erica Trump. I mean, Erica Kirk, I guess. I just, I can't do it.
Let's play one of her clips.
Sot number six. There was no faint There's no fear. No agony. One moment Charlie was doing what he loved. arguing and debating on campus.
Fighting for the gospel. In truth, in front of a big crowd. And then he blinked. He blinked and saw his Saviour in paradise. Man, it if when I go I want to blink.
And see my savior in paradise. Wasn't that amazing? You know, they did this video last night, and they showed. Footage from Charlie throwing the hats out into the audience on the day that he was to die, and you're just thinking that man doesn't know what's about to happen to him. And that got me.
That video got me. And then, when she talked about that, it just blinked. And he woke up and everything was revealed to him. And he is with his savior. And there wasn't a dry eye in that room.
I don't think there was a dry eye with the millions of people watching live when. Erica Kirk. forgave the assassin and and We can listen to that. Um, Cassie, SOT number five. Father, forgive them.
For they not know what they do. That man That young man, I forgive him. Man, that, um So she has to do that because she has to free herself. And that is what forgiveness is all about. It's not really apologizing for him or saying that he doesn't face consequences, it is forgiving.
him so that you can release yourself from the pain. Oh crap. Kristen, that's good. That's good. Uh You're right.
You know, when Jesus was on the cross, he looked up at the Father and He said, Forgive them, for they know not what they do. And that's exactly what Erica said. She said, My husband sought to save. The type of young man that did this to him. And we must forgive him.
And you're right. I mean, she is a remarkable woman. And is really prepared for such a time as this. And, friends, we want to hear from you: 901-260-5926. What did you think about?
Erica's comments last night. I mean, you know, Kristen, Did you know she was actually older than Charlie? Five years old. Yeah, she quite a bit older. She had been running a successful company in New York City.
She was Miss Arizona, USA. She even had some acting gigs and stuff. She was on kind of that trajectory. Very impressive woman, a strong woman, and had been. We were talking with Ann Elizabeth Matheny, who is the chair of the Memphis Young Republicans here, but she's also the turning point representative for her.
Job titles, literally heartland manager in the heartland of the United States.
So, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, some other states, really in the heartland of America. She's the Turning Point representative. And she said Erica had started, particularly in the past year, speaking at a lot more conferences, doing a lot more. You know, she was traveling to the campuses. She was taking on a larger role in the organization, despite having two young children.
She was really starting to take on a lot more with Turning Point. And Ann Elizabeth told us, or told me, that she really believes that that was part of God's plan for Erica to be prepared to take over Turning Point. And really, when you think about who God puts together, he put Charlie and Erica together for a reason. And so those two came into each other's lives because of turning point, because he was going to hire her. and then he realized I can't hire you because He just saw, I want to date you.
He just saw like his future wife sitting in front of him and said, There's no way you can work for me. Oh, and she was talking about love notes last night, how every Saturday he wrote her a love note, loved it. We have one more clip of Erica. Let's play Sot number four. Most of all, God's mercy and God's love have been revealed to me these past ten days.
After Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence. We didn't see rioting. We didn't see revolution. Instead, we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country. We saw revival.
Isn't that right? We are not the same. We are not the same. And that's what last night in Tipton County, when I heard I was listening to her speak, I had to leave to go to the vigil halfway through her speech.
So I rushed out to my car and I connected the Mighty 990 app to my Bluetooth so I could continue to listen. And when I heard that, I changed my comments last night and wanted to make.
So clear to the audience that we are not the same, and we need to declare it because we are the side of hope and promise. And, like Stephen Miller said last night, we are building something rather than tearing down. Right. We build beauty and even down to our architecture. When you look at our churches from the 19th century, for example, and the 17th century in Europe, and you look at in these peasant villages, these beautiful cathedrals that people gave their all to build to glorify God, we are the side of building.
You know, Trump talks about that, how ugly our buildings have gotten. And it's kind of a reflection of our society. Yeah. That we need to go back to building glorious buildings that honor God and honor our talents that God gave us. Why are we suppressing our own talents and building these ugly buildings that don't inspire anything?
Yeah. I mean, look at, for example, You go down Union or Poplar Avenue and you see East High School, for example, or this building that's over a hundred years old, that is beautiful with the windows and this Georgian architecture. And then you look at a modern-day high school that looks like you're in a prison. It looks like you're in a prison. It's almost like these government buildings that they build now are like to remind us that we are subservient to them.
And I really think that is it. I think there's a lot of just that going on where it's getting into your head. And if you look at something that is awe-inspiring, you're going to be happier than if you look at a cinder block building. It really does something to your psyche. Yeah, and even though we were mourning yesterday in this memorial service, we were hopeful and joyful and worshiping.
And there was so much hope in that service. It was really, I mean, I felt encouraged. You know, the past week and a half have been such a roller coaster of emotions. And I felt so much hope. And it's like we are ready to fight.
And our fight is so different from the other side. It is so different. You know, that you see the memes all over the internet where it has the summer of love 2020, where people's personality. Personal property and businesses are being burnt to the ground. They have nothing left.
That is how the. The left fights, but we don't fight that way. We come together and we ask God to help us. And God will help us. He will make us whole again.
And that is the message that resonated loud and clear last night. And if anybody who is against that message, I don't know how they can continue to say that they are on the side of good. Yeah, let's uh Donald Trump talked about that political leftist violence in SOT number nine. The Department of Justice is also investigating networks of radical left maniacs who fund organized fuel. and perpetrate political violence and We think we know who many of them are.
But law enforcement can only be the beginning. of our response to Charlie's murder. Over the last 11 days, we have heard stories of Commentators, influencers, and others in our society who greeted his assassination. With sick approval, excuses or even Jubilation, you've heard that, so have I, couldn't believe it. Isn't it so refreshing to hear the president of the United States drop this both sides crap and say we have a leftist violence problem?
I think if anybody is now saying that both sides need to fix themselves, okay, stop it. Stop it. There was polling done last week that showed nearly a quarter of those who identify as left of center think it is okay to use violence when they hear something with which they disagree. Unacceptable. Hey, we have a couple callers calling in 901-260-5926.
We're going to pick you up on the other side. But right now, we're going to throw do a sports update. Let's check in with our sports analyst, Parker May, now. Americans have a big health care problem. Over 100 million U.S.

Hey folks, Luke Symbol here with Kristen New filling in for Todd on Starns Country. We have a caller on our Patriot Mobile newsmaker line.
Justin from Cyrville, welcome to the show. What's going on? Hey, good morning. Hey, so I just want to comment: one of my favorite speakers, actually. was one of the very first ones.
She was a lady that was on the staff for Charlie. Uh, she talked about just the kindness of the person that he was, and her husband was, um as cancer was dying from.
Somehow Charlie got an oxen machine. and medicine to their house. He passed away. And then after that, she lost her home in the Palace Street. All right, Justin, I agree with you.
We got a bad connection here. I'm so sorry. We're going to, but I know who you're talking about. That was the fundraiser for Turning Point. And she, several, I mean, I guess she had been with them like six to eight years, and she was a big political fundraiser.
And she said, Charlie came to me. He was this naive young kid who had this big dream. And he inspired me. And through the course of their friendship and relationship, her husband, she had a young daughter. Her husband got diagnosed with cancer.
He passed away. And Charlie really took care of them and would call them regularly and got medical supplies to her house when they needed it. And eventually, You know, he had really wanted her to move to Arizona, where the Turning Point Headquarters was, and eventually her house was in that terrible fire in California and the Pacific Palisades. And he called her and said, Welp, I think it's time. It's time.
This is time. And she said, It was so clear to her how God really orchestrated the timeline of her life to move to Arizona and just how Charlie had comforted her and her young daughter. She said, My daughter called me when she heard about Charlie's passing and said, Well, this is why God wanted us to move to Arizona. It's our turn to comfort. Erica and those kids.
Right, and to give back to somebody who gave so much to them. I mean, that's just like a no-brainer of, of course, you will. Of course, you will. It's one of those really cool stories that, you know, you go. Growing up, or you hear your parents say, you know, this is God's plan, or we don't know what's going on, but you know, God has a plan.
And you say these things, but there are times in our lives when you look back and you think, oh my gosh, he really did. And how did I not notice? Yeah, like you see the dots start connecting, and you're like, oh my gosh, I can't believe it. And a lot of times it is through adversity or through some kind of trial or tribulation in your life where you go, I don't know why this is happening.
Well, just be patient because you're going to find out. Yeah. Well, Kristen, I'm excited for this week. You know, Todd is traveling, doing his speaking at the conferences, doing the book tour, all the things that he does. And we're going to be filling in this week.
And we have an exciting week planned. I mean, we have so much news happening here in the Mid-South. The National Guard coming to Memphis. And in fact, President Trump just this weekend talked about that and saw number 12. All of those federal law enforcement people that have surged Washington are now surging Memphis right now as we speak.
I want to thank the National Guard and All of those federal law enforcement people that have surged Washington are now surging Memphis right now as we speak. By the way, we're getting calls over the internet, we're getting statements, sir, thank you so much. I live in Memphis, it's so beautiful. There's so many people outside, everybody's cheering the soldiers, they're cheering. Thank you so much, sir.
I think Trump saw the Republican Party of Shelby County's rally. I think he did. Did you know, Kristen, that Rapid Response 47, which is kind of like the press arm for the Trump campaign, which has really turned into like the BAGA campaign? Did you see that they tweeted me last week? The White House.
Political arm tweeted a clip of me thanking President Trump for sending the National Guard to Memphis. Did you frame that? Did you like print it out and frame it? I think I would. In this clip, I say: if you care about crime in the city of Memphis, you've got to vote Republican.
And so we're going to be talking about that this week. I cannot wait to talk about that. It's great. We're going to have Senator Brent Taylor join us for an entire show to talk about Make Memphis Matter and the past two to three years, what he's been working on to ultimately go from Shelby County all the way to the Oval Office. Yes.
And you know, if you've ever heard Brent Taylor speak, you know it's going to be fun. He's going to have something to say.
Something slightly great. We're going to have an amazing week, folks. But yes, Donald Trump, I mean, the White House tweeted Luke. I am sitting next to you. You can sell me on X at LukeSymbols, C-Y-M-B-A-L.
