From the Mighty 990 Broadcast Center, you're waking up in Starnes Country with Todd Starnes. Hey Cancy, do me a favor. Can you look outside the window there? See if the National Guard is. is driving down the the roadway.
Hello, everybody. Welcome. To the Todd Stearns Radio Program. What an honor to have you with us today. Wow, a lot going on, a lot to talk about, and honestly, a lot to celebrate.
I hope when you woke up this morning. You just felt a little bit better. About our situation here in Memphis and the Mid-South. And I don't know about you. It was.
It was really an amazing thing to watch our President yesterday announce to the nation that Memphis matters. And isn't that the slogan that Senator Brent Taylor coined, gosh, a couple of years ago now? And the the senator, you know, a lot of folks were wondering, okay. We really haven't had a guy like Brent Taylor. Run for office here, right?
Most of our Republicans are a little bit more timid and they're a little quiet. You know, they don't like to make a scene. They don't like to rabble-rouse, you know, and that's fine. I get that. But that's really not what we needed here.
And when I bought KWAM five years ago, I knew that we needed to provide a voice. for not just conservatives, but for the people of Memphis. And really, when you step back and when you look at what K-Wam has become in just really a few short years, it's really a miracle story, but it's also a story about what happens when you take a stand, when you do not waver, when you say what needs to be said no matter the cost. And that's what we do here on this show and here on this radio station every single day. That's what Senator Brent Taylor's been doing.
For a very long time now. And you know, it seems to me when and we'll we'll tell you the back story of the Oval Office visit in just a few moments, but when you look at the people in that room, Um I'm gonna get in trouble. I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I'm going to get in trouble. Senator Brent Taylor should have been there. He should have been there.
But yesterday, and someone, so I got a call yesterday from the White House, yesterday morning. It happened during the show. And they said, Todd, we're signing it today. Can you get to Washington? And there was just no way.
I would have had to have blown up the national radio show, and I would have had to have blown up the Newsmax show. And then, you know, getting a private jet, which I had some folks helping me do. And I think we could have gotten there, but we had so many other things happening that it was just next to impossible.
So I said, no, no, no, I can't do that. But can I send somebody in my place? May I deputize somebody? And Casey, turn your microphone. You know this because you were part of the.
I mean, I was here when all of this was happening and we were trying to figure it out. And I said, who in the world will be my Barney Fife? I wonder who. And the only thing I could think of was the guy with the power fro who used to work here. What's his name?
Teeter, Ben Tieter. It's got some power in that fraud for sure. My only concern: will he actually pass the Secret Service clearance? That was a little suspect, but he did. He did.
And so they were incredibly gracious. And we're going to have Ben on in just a few moments. He was the only Memphis reporter in that room, in the Oval Office, yesterday. And that was a special moment, I think, for us here at the Mighty 990.
So I really just felt like Senator Taylor should have been in that room. Alongside Marsha Blackburn, because those are the only two people that actually care about this city. And the governor, he looked like he was in a hostage video, Governor Bill Lee. And then I didn't even realize Senator Bill Haggerty was still in office, but he is.
So he was there. trying to upstage Senator Blackburn. I'm like, what's that all about? God loves Senator Blackburn. She's a good, gracious Southern lady, but I would have been throwing elbows.
He was literally trying to ice her out. I'm like, what is going on here? But here's what you need to know. And again, I don't. I'm glad that Governor Bill Lee finally did the right thing, even if it was under pressure and under duress.
And I'm glad, what's the other senator's Haggerty? I'm glad he actually showed up. But I'm telling you, the people that have been there from day one. alongside us fighting for for the city of Memphis. Is Senator Marsha Blackburn and Senator Brent Taylor?
And it would have been nice to see Senator Taylor the you know who wasn't there. Is Congressman David Kustoff? I don't know where he was.
Someone sent me a note, and I haven't heard back from his team, but I'm sure I know they listened, so maybe they'll let us know. But yeah, our local congressman wasn't there in Cohen. He was at some KFC. I don't know what he was doing. I don't know.
But ladies and gentlemen, here's what you need to know. And this is a great thing. is that our President cares about Memphis. This is what I want you to hear from I mean, there are so many things happening in this city right now. And we're going to get to Tammy Sawyer and the horrible things she said about the incredibly beautiful people of Collierville in just a moment.
But I want you to hear me on this. Your city matters. Only you young people that are listening to a lot of kids that are new listeners to the radio show. I want you to understand something. You don't have to move away.
That's what Donald Trump was saying yesterday. Young people, you don't have to move away. As a matter of fact, you need to be moving to Memphis right now because you're going to be able to get a pretty decent price on a house. You're going to be able to start a family here. President Trump was saying that Memphis matters.
That we have one of the the most unique cities in The world. I mean, everybody talks about New Orleans and the food and the culture down there, which is great. But I'm telling you, we are right on par with New Orleans. And when the National Guard comes in here and frees up the Memphis Police Department to do their jobs. It is going to revolutionize the city.
Can you imagine being able to go back downtown again and enjoy your Friday night outdoor dancing in the streets, the music? I mean, just people everywhere celebrating, watching the sunset on the Mississippi River. Those are. Those are beautiful things. Being able to go to a ball game and you you After a great game, you go to your car and it's still there and the windows are intact.
I mean, those are things that. We We've all been through it. We all have. And I know that the window repair shops are going to be disappointed in President Trump, but it's okay. You'll survive.
But we're going to open up the phone phone lines today. And Um, I will, when I say that, a lot of people say, Does the White House really listen to your show? Yeah, they really do. And so I think they need to hear from us this morning. I know a lot of you folks love to weigh in on our Facebook Live page, but I think the White House needs to hear from MPIs who are thankful that President Trump is doing this.
Because I'm telling you, the Democrats, They are enraged right now. The reason why the county mayor wasn't there, Lee Harris, and the reason why Mayor Paul Young weren't there yesterday is they didn't want to be there. They don't want the National Guard here. Justin Pearson. You know, when you look at those individuals, these are the reasons why Trump is having to send in the National Guard.
They've just done their jobs. You know, the mayor inviting the gangbangers to City Hall for a sit-down. And and the mayor was like uh yo bro, uh can you just uh you know uh knock off the uh kill them for about a week or so. I mean, that was the deal. He asked him to literally stop killing people for seven days.
You know what you do? No, no, no. You get all the gangbangers. And you know, you throw them a lavish spread. Say, you know what, we're going to have milk, and we're going to have like whole milk, and we're going to have the mega stuff.
Forget the double stuff Oreos. We're going to have the mega stuff Oreos where you come on down, roll out the red carpet. As soon as they get in that room, you arrest every single one of the thugs. It's really that simple. You basically use the Magostoff Oreos and the delicious frosty glass of milk is sort of like bait.
I'm d I mean, that's what I would have done. But it's their own fault. I think about Sheriff Thomas Tuggle, who's a friend of K-Wham, and he has been on our show a number of times. And Sheriff Tuggle, Is the law in DeSoto County? And yesterday, here's what Sheriff Tuggle had.
Because let me tell you something, they're mobilizing everybody. And Sheriff Tuggle is telling the thugs, you better not cross that state line, or there's going to be, you know, what to pay. Take a listen to Cut Two. For every citizen of DeSoto County that lives here. Rest easy knowing that we are proactive, united and committed.
To those who think they can bring violence here, we want you to think again. We will not tolerate it. and we will not hesitate to act. We stand strong and we're prepared to defend this county. We're not We are not going to tolerate any nonsense.
And you better listen to the sheriff. Ladies and gentlemen, if we had a Floyd Bonner like that, if CJ Davis could behave like that, can you imagine the difference we would have in law enforcement? It would be remarkable. But what's amazing about DeSoto County is that race is not an issue there. Right?
I mean, you've got the first Republican senator representative since Reconstruction representing majority white.
South Haven and DeSoto County? In the state house, you have a black sheriff. Race is not the issue here. It's a matter of enforcing the law. And the fact of the matter is, and for whatever reason, and we do need to find this out, and maybe the FBI will investigate, but I think we need to find out what's going on here.
Is City Hall scared of the thugs, or have the thugs bought off City Hall? That's the question. And we need to get an answer to that. I'm not making any accusations. I'm just saying it doesn't make any sense.
Why would people like Paul Young why would Paul Young is just like Barack Hussein Obama? Obama did nothing for the black people during his terms in office. Not a thing. Donald Trump has done more for the black community and the nation than Barack Hussein Obama ever did. That's the gospel truth.
All right, we got to take a break here. We are celebrating today. It is a great day. We'll have some audio from yesterday's White House visit. We have Luke Simbel, who's been on the TV shows debating these Democrats.
And also, we're going to tell you. What Tammy Sawyer said about all you people in Collierville, and we're going to let you respond to that as well. Our number: 901-260-5926. If you want to thank President Trump, they're listening at the White House this morning, so give us a call: 901-260-5926. This is Starnes Country, and the principal took you out of Memphis studio.
Let's check in with our good friend Commander Chuck with a look at the roadways. From unsolved mysteries to unexplained phenomena. From comedy goal to relationship fails, Amazon Music's got the most ad-free top podcasts, included with Prime. Download the Amazon Music app today. All right, it's gonna be about 300 degrees out there today, folks, so I'll wear some sunscreen.
And welcome back to Stern's Country. Hey, by the way, I want to give a shout out to the Collierville High School Future Farmers of America. Way to go, guys. They competed in the FFA horse judging contest. This was for all of West Tennessee, so you had a lot of schools involved.
The West Tennessee Regional Horse Judging Contest and our guys over at Collierville placing 11th.
So super proud of the team and way to represent the great city of Collierville and also Shelby County.
So we're super proud of those guys. Hey, let's go to the phone lines now: 901-260-5926. We're heading all the way to downtown, Jackie. Jackie, is your last name Brown? Yeah, I'm Shackling commits.
I was going to say downtown Jackie Brown, but that won't work, Jackie. No, I'm Jackie Smith. And I just want to agree with you about the politicians. They especially Justin Pearson. He did nothing for the poor people or nothing for our people since he's been in office.
He's just been grandstanding. And now he's talking about we need to eradicate poverty, but we haven't Oh. Just started having a problem with poverty. It's been here all along. But they've chosen to ignore it.
They fond vowed. rather than poverty, you see. And down there at the Civil Rights Museum, they spending fifty five million dollars. The light is up. the spot where Dr.
King was assassinated. with all these lights.
Now you you can understand that on Bill Street or at the casinos. But at the Lorraine Motel where a man lost his life and died on a balcony, And they spending all that money down there, they had a choice. They could have taken it. That would have been a great start. to eradicate poverty.
And they spend all that money down there glamorizing that death spot. Yeah. uh advancing slavery and Yes and all that stuff.
Now you see we are a bunch of hypocrites. On one hand, they want to eradicate poverty, and so did Dr. King. But they they Are not doing anything about it, and they never have. And are they just dragging up the poor people now because they want You have to think that they call it some form based tablets before and they're not going to do anything now.
They just heal from them. Jackie, when you heard the president yesterday, I heard a man who wants to liberate the people. And get rid of these criminal thugs. I did not hear a man that wants to come in and put everybody back in chains.
Well We need help here. There's no doubt about it. I mean, uh we can't continue to allow memphers to Go on as it Ear.
So we don't need these. Politicians grandstand. Pretending like they got our best interests at heart and members at heart when they don't. They they just use and just uh Use initiative. If he didn't want them here, why didn't he speak before now?
Now they're all they're all walked on our doorstep.
Now all of a sudden Justin Pearson and what is that, the Democratic, whatever they are. Kitty Gillens won the city hall. But they could have spoken out before now. Oh, sure. Absolutely.
And they are speaking out, and they're telling us, don't believe your lion eyes. We've got no crime problem in Memphis. And I'm sorry, but that's not a real person. We can't have real conversations with people like that. And that's just unfortunate.
But elections have consequences. And Jackie, I appreciate your call this morning. But ladies and gentlemen, at the end of the day, I hope the Republicans step up and take full advantage of this opportunity to say there is another path forward, and here's what we can do about it. I want to go to the phone lines, and we're just so honored to have our good friend Ben Dieter back with us. And Dieter, you were in the Oval Office yesterday.
That was your first time in the White House complex. And I had an Afrotod in the lighthouse. I should have gotten a hair tie. In retrospect. I got so many messages from people saying as soon as I looked at the TV screen.
And there's the president. There's only one person that has hair like that and that's You know. Yours truly, Rebecca.
So It was incredible, Todd. And I want to say something. They caught the open of your show. And yes, a lot of people did deserve to be in that room. And I'm so honored that you allowed me to stand in for you.
Okay. That seat at the table was clearly yours. And it's in part to something you've been working on and something you've been talking about for so long, which is We need something coming down from the federal government in the form of the National Guard. You got the president on the show, you made Mentes. You push Memphis to the forefront of that president's cranium.
I hate to say it, no other way. And while I was there and him kind of the same things we talked about on that morning show. the last four years. It was Stone Pull Circle and it was such a win. Such a win for our city, but big win for this station, Tom.
You know, I thought it was. And again, to be the only radio station, TV station, newspaper in the Mid-South with a reporter in the room, that really says a lot about our relationship with the White House and the fact that President Trump is a man of his word. You know, he said he was going to take a look at Memphis and he moved us right to the very top of the list. Everybody thought it was going to be Chicago, Ben, but it turned out to be Memphis.
Well, I. It was in there. I thought back to some of the biggest stories we covered. I thought back to the officer. that was gunned down.
I was on air doing that exactly. morning show. When we learned from the police chief and the mayor that the person that slaughtered this Young op. Yeah. was actually released just a couple days before.
I thought of Elijah Fletcher, Todd. I thought about that young mom. Of two boys, I thought about. those two-year-olds in Orange Mount that were just recently shot. of so many victims of crime.
And while I was in the Oval Office, I couldn't get their stories out of my head. And you can tell that those stories. which were on the President's Resolute desk. really impacted him. He had a whole list of examples.
You guys out there meant the instead of being going to the local newspaper, going to the local radio and TV stations. And saying this is not normal. It's not okay to live in a very, very dangerous world, which is Memphis, Tennessee. And he had all of them and he saw that. Yeah.
And he made good on that promise. And that was I just thought of those families that have been through so much grief and so much pain. I hope they got a little bit or at least fell asleep by the president yesterday.
Well, we got to leave it there, Dieter. You know how this goes with the clock. But we were glad that we could deputize you yesterday. And we're going to get you back on. I've got so many questions about the whole White House experience, and we'll have to save that for another day.
But thanks for letting us. You are my Barney Fife at the White House. I found it I'm your doppelganger, sign.
Well, I doubt that. But yes, it's a good-looking pro. By the way, we're having people weigh in, and they say your fro is a lot better than Pearson's. Yeah. Of course, because it's real.
I'm authentic. That's an authentic pro, baby. That is a power pro. Ben Dieter from Washington, D.C., our guide in the nation's capital. Hang tight, everybody.
Got to take a quick break. We'll be right back. It is a great morning to be in Memphis, Tennessee, everybody. Welcome to Starnes Country. I'm Todd Starnes, and thank you for hanging out with us today here in the principal Toyota Memphis studio.
And we have a lot going on. I do have some breaking news to share with you. This is coming in from our news partners at CBS News Radio. Robert Redford, the Hollywood actor, turned Oscar-winning director, has died. He passed away in his home in Utah.
Robert Redford, 89 years old. His publicist said that he passed away in his sleep. That is all the information we're getting. And word just beginning to trickle out. Again, the breaking news.
Robert Redford is dead at the age of 89. All right, our telephone number, 901-260-5926. I want to bring into the conversation from the Republican Party of Shelby County, the man who's been organizing the Charlie Kirk vigils all over the city, Luke Simbel. Luke, good to have you with us today. Thank you, Todd.
It is a good morning in Memphis, Tennessee. What was your reaction? You got to see the president yesterday. And hear his remarks about Memphis. What was your takeaway?
It almost was a surreal pinch-me moment, Todd, to have the President of the United States, his cabinet, our two senators, all social media platforms, the White House Rapid Response 47, all of our law, you know, federal law enforcement social medias talking about Memphis, Tennessee, and what they're going to do to clean up our Crime challenge here. I have a lot of hope for the future. I think it offered a strong contrast between yesterday morning's Democrat press conference down in front of Memphis City Hall, who denouncing the attempts to clean up our crime challenge here using federal resources, and then the president of the United States saying, Nope, we're going to clean it up. There is a clear difference, folks, between the Democrat and Republican parties in Shelby County. I was watching the Democrats holding that big press conference yesterday, and it looked like the bar scene out of Star Wars.
I mean, these people, they're not serious people. For those folks to stand up there and say there's no crime problem. As a matter of fact, here's a little fro, Justin Pearson.
So we got Ben Dater, he's power fro, and then we got little Pearson, he's little fro. Justin Pearson cut for. These are not normal times. And if we think that we can engage with this administration of Donald Trump or of Governor Bill Lee as though things are No, we are are mistaken. We can't pretend like these are reasonable people.
They are not. And they are coming to hurt, harm, destroy, disrupt, and confuse our citizens.
So they're the ones that are coming to hurt, harm, and confuse the citizens of Memphis. Their divisive was so out of touch. Uh Their rhetoric, excuse me, was so out of touch. It was divisive. It was inappropriate.
And the people in Memphis, no matter where they live, the Republican Party of Shelby County is hearing from them saying, We approve the National Guard coming. We want all the resources we can get. The Democrat Party complains all the time saying, We don't get enough resources. We need money here in Memphis, Tennessee.
Well, now the full weight of the federal government is coming. Giving resources to help us clean up our city, and they're denouncing it simply because Donald Trump is in the White House. They're not serious people, folks. And there is one party in Shelby County who cares about cleaning up our city, and that is the Republican Party. And this is going to be an all-hands on deck effort here, I think, with the Republicans to rally, get that message out across the entire city.
And it's going to be hard, but I will say this: if just the people in the suburbs would get involved. That would solve a lot of the issues on the county level. And then I think we would see some change happening within the city limits. You're exactly right. Todd, if we had the rally the other night at Charlie Kirk's vigil, About 2,000 at least people.
You mean the clan gathering? Yeah, according to Tammy Sawyer. If we had. Every single one of those people. Get 10, 20, 30 peoples to the polls.
We would win countywide in Shelby County. You just got to vote. You got to get your neighbors. You got to vote. You got to drag them and demand that they save our county.
It is possible. And we have got the Republican Party of Shelby County slogan is this: take back Shelby County. Got to do it. Got to do it. Little Starnes, who's 6'3 now, so technically I'm Lil Starnes, but Lil Starnes, for the sake of this conversation, showed up at the Cogervair Rally and brought along a lot of his pals from Christian Brothers High School.
And they are all conservative. They listen to Charlie Kirk all the time. And when I saw the young people, I mean, just hundreds of young people, we had a number of young people in Germantown at the vigil there. We need to be mobilizing these kids because they are the future voters and the future leaders of our city. And we got to mobilize them.
Absolutely. We have got to get them plugged in and show them that not only do we want to talk about what Charlie stood for, but we have to act like Charlie Acton. And what does that mean? Get involved civically, go knock on doors, make phone calls, get people to the polls, and have fun doing it. And we are going to do that here in 2026.
And we are already plugging those folks in. I've been on text messages, I've been starting text message chains every single day since these vigils started to connect them to Turning Point, the young Republicans and the Republican Party of Shelby County. We're going to get it done. And one of the things we're going to be doing, and I'll just throw this out there. And if you have a student that is interested, give us a call and Cassie will get your information.
But we are working on a prototype show that will be hosted by young people, by students, for students that will broadcast here on the Mighty 990, both at the high school and the collegiate level.
So we really want to help do our part by raising up those next conservative voices for West Tennessee. That is so encouraging. I love that idea. And if you're interested, folks, give us a call. If you have a student that might be interested, give us a call.
We'll get your information. 901-2000. 260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Luke, I want to play some audio last night on ABC24.
You were invited to be a panelist. And Tammy Sawyer went out of her way to smear. the memory of Charlie Kirk, but she also Called every, I mean, when you step back and listen to what she's about to say, she called every person who attended the Collierville rally, the vigil. A racist. Let's take a listen to Tammy Sawyer, your General Sessions Court Clerk.
So if you want to talk about divisive rhetoric, let's talk about the fact that right now in Collierville, there is a vigil being held for a man who spouted anti-black rhetoric every day on the national news.
So we won't talk about divisive rhetoric. Let's talk about the fact that this is an order from a president who is attacking the cities, Memphis, Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, D.C., the cities that are some of the largest black cities in this country and have the highest voting rates of Democrats in this country. And we're preparing for this to be a lead up to the 2026 midterms and 2028 election when this president who wants to be king plans to run again and further dismantle democracy. All right, that was Tammy Sawyer yesterday. And before you respond, ladies and gentlemen, if you were at the Cogerville rally, did you hear anything that was divisive, anything that was hateful, anything that was racist?
Give us a call this morning. Let us know 901-260-5926. If you were at that rally, we want to hear from you. 901-260-5926. Luke, your reaction to what Tammy Sawyer said.
It is my opinion that if Tammy Sawyer does not like what you say, you are a racist. That is her world view. She views the world, in my opinion, through color. And Turning Point USA just announced yesterday. uh in conjunction with Erica Kirk that they are rolling out a series of lawsuits.
For the media figures and public people who are libeling her husband. uh lying about his mission on purpose to denigrate him. And denigrate Turning Point. And so, Turning Point, I think you should listen to what Tammy Sawyer has to say and maybe consider suing her for libel. She is, her worldview is disgusting.
And look, it's on display for the entire community to see. You can go watch that clip on ABC 24. Don't just sue Tammy Sawyer. Sue Shelby County. Sure.
That's who she works for. She said those. What she said, she said as the general sessions county court clerk, sorry, the court clerk.
So, you know, the county has to be held accountable for platforming this woman. And again, I don't know why she's out there. She's not the mayor. She is a radical defund the police activist during the BLM riots when they were burning cities to the ground. She was supporting them.
And then she's in front of a microphone this week saying, We don't want the federal government to clean up crime. Yeah, it's like she wants crime. It's like she's advocating for the criminal. All right, let's go to the phone lines here. Let's go to Dean in Memphis, who was at the Collierville vigil.
Dean, good to have you with us. Dean, did you. To see anything that was remotely racist at that vigil. Morning Todd, morning loose. No, I did not.
And I respond. To a post by a guy that was out. Yeah. talking about it or whatever, saying, Oh, it's it's So inclusive. I said, yes, it actually was.
If you'd been there, you would have noticed that there were. people For a mile background. all races, ethnicities, or whatever, they're To grieve a man. that was that was doing a lot of good work around this country for the young people.
So no, there was nothing that came out that was divisive. Dean, you've been the victim of some insane crime, and you're out there across the city doing great work. And I'm curious to hear your thoughts on what President Trump said and the fact that he's bringing in the National Guard.
Well, I mean, yeah. Uh in a span of five days, I was Shot at. My truck took the hit. And then Just four days later, my truck was broken into over here where I live at my house. And uh You know, you saw the post.
You know, if the if the National Guard wants to kick back in front of my house, not just to protect my house, whatever, but just to Take a break. I'm all for it.
So bring them on. Yeah, I hear you, Dean. Look, you be safe out there. And Dean, give us the do you want to share the name of your business? Because you do some of the finest work I have seen in the country.
Well, I mean it's I I do a lot of I do a lot of residential stair rail Balcony rails. It's Atomic 26 design. I'm on Facebook and Instagram. But uh I do stair rails, gates. A lot of custom metal work, and I do a lot of furniture bases for a guy that sells.
of the hospitality industry. I can't put my name on it, but I've got furniture across the country. coast to coast and some even in the Bahamas.
Well, Dean, we sure do appreciate you. And folks, if you're looking for some great ironworks, some railings and things, Dean Franklin is the guy that you need to be reaching out to. Dean, got to leave it there. Thank you, sir. A lot of people weighing in.
Kristen writing in. Tammy Sawyer is a vile race baiter. She's irrelevant and hateful. Phil writing in, Tammy is not only a racist, but she is absolutely a piece of dog excrement that needs to shut her fat ass mouth. Why do they even care what she says?
Phil, tell us what you really mean there. What do you really think, Phil? I don't know how you did it, Luke. And what bothered me is you had Otis Sanford there. And Otis Sanford is one of the problems with this city.
He's training up the next generation of journalists. And that guy is a radical leftist. And shame on him because he kept his mouth shut and did not correct. And neither did the anchorette. I didn't know who she was.
No, that uh Pepper, I think is her name. No, and she really, you know, she has a lot of control over that show and really doesn't allow people to respond. You know, it's a panel, but there's not a whole lot of back and forth. She jumps in with the ship. Where's the funny man?
I was not involved on my knees. Really, really frustrating. And then Otis called himself an objective journalist that I nearly laughed at. Dr. Pepper.
I'm like, are you kidding?
So I don't know what Pamprika, what's her name? Pepper? I think it's Pepper something.
Okay, all right, gotcha.
So I don't know what her deal was, but for both of them to sit there, they're all culpable. I say sue local 24. Their butts need to be sued. Yeah, and they were saying, oh, this was such an intense debate. Wow.
And I thought it was that we didn't really debate. And I said, look, if you want good television, get smart people to, but they don't really want smart conservatives on that show. We'll see if they invite me back. But I would love to have a little bit more debate and back. Back and forth, and about the only thing I could do is smirk when Tammy Sawyer was speaking.
Well, this is why they don't invite me on those kinds of shows. They're too articulate about conservative matters. They don't want their viewers to hear it. Yeah, I'd have been on her like a pit bull on a pork chop. We're going to have a come to Jesus meeting.
All right, Luke Symbol.
So, well done. Where can people go if they want to get involved? And it's really, look, there are two political parties. I mean, let's be real here, folks. One wants to save our city from the thugs, and the other is run by the thugs.

Bobby, what's on your mind today? Oh, hello, Todd. I'm finally on. You're on, Bobby, yes. Oh, yes.
Thank thank you, thank you, thank you. Yeah, yeah, it's yeah. Yeah. Uh yeah, I was a bit nervous. Uh yeah, it was great to hear from, you know, great men like Dean and Luke that came on before me and uh And yes, it it's a great thing that that The President.
there in Memphis and uh And I just, you know, would like to See Messas go back to being a a hot destination city again, like the one I grew up in. And uh Yeah, yeah, it's good is um he's doing a lot of great work and like I just said in the comments. Um that really similar Taylor and President Trump They're the main reasons that inspire me to vote.
Well, Bobby, we sure do appreciate you calling in this morning. And thank you for listening to K-Wham. And I too, I look forward, you know what I envision? I see a city skyline that's got new high-rises, gleaming towers. I see a vibrant city where people are able to celebrate and walk in the streets and enjoy this incredibly beautiful town that we have.
That's what I envision. Let's go to Justin in Cogerville, who was at the vigil. Justin, what's going on? Hey, Todd.
So I was there. There was nothing divisive, there was nothing polarizing. That whole vigil about Charlie Curtin was about God, faith, and family. You were there, you spoke. We had a pastor there, they even gave an altar call.
asking everybody to repent of their sins and uh except Jesus Christ.
So The essence of who Charlie Kirk is Is Tammy Sawyer hate? She is a Marxist.
Socialist. And does not want happening what happened in Collierville across communities all across the mid-south is Which is go back to foundationally of who we are.
So I'm not surprised. That Tammy Sawyer would label us all as a racist because usually the people labeling other people are racist. Are the people that have hate and contempt in their hearts?
So I hope they sue Tammy Sawyer. I hope they go after her because I live in the community of Collierville, and it is absolutely disgusting that she would label us that. And so, all our elected leaders, our community leaders, need to stand up against her. 10,000%, Justin. And this is one of the reasons why we play those clips because people need to know what we're dealing with here.
And these are people who do, they're enemies of freedom, and that's the problem.
So we've got to expose them, and we do that with their words. Justin, good to hear from you, my friend. Thank you for calling in this morning. Let's go to George, who lives in Texas, but you're an OG, Memphis. Oh yeah, I've been posting in the Three and I'm a black.
Tristan conservative from Memphis, and I do a lot of things there in the community with my nonprofit. I was just saying, just, you know, since the assassination, I've been catching hell. And the most violent rhetoric I've heard has come. come from the left and the woke people and the black Democrats. It's not coming from the conservative crowd.
I've noticed that. And I just want to make a point about that, is that I've been attacked racially. My nonprofit has been attacked. I've been attacked personally. All because I create a different notion.
Initially, when I came out as a conservative, and I came out as a conservative, but when I really started espousing my views, it was under the auspices of Let Us Work Across the Aisle. George, it wasn't about we're gonna have to put a pin there because we're running out of time. I want you to call us back tomorrow when we have a little bit more time. You've got our number, so give us a holler, but the computer is going to cut us off. But thank you for calling in, folks.
Thank you. It has been a great day.
So much going on, but today is a reason to celebrate here in the Mid-South. I'm Todd Stearns. We will see you at 11 right here on the Mighty 990.
