Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right. I love this American. And hello, everyone. Welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program.
Thank you for joining us today wherever you might be, border to border, coast to coast, across the fruited plain.
Well, it really has been somewhat delicious. Ladies and gentlemen, to watch the Democrats. Got triggered by President Trump. And it's really fascinating as we're watching events unfolding in our nation's capital where elected Democrats are now siding with, in fact, the criminals of Washington, D.C., the thuglings. And for those of you in Salem, Oregon, thuglings is what we call the juvenile, the underage thugs.
So you have thugs, thuggettes, which are the lady thugs, and the thugglings, which are the juvenile thugs. And Washington, D.C. has had an infestation of them. It's just unbelievable. And of course, yesterday, President Trump announcing that he intended to take over the Washington DC Police Department, which apparently has already happened.
We also understand National Guard troops by the hundreds are expected. And now President Trump is suggesting that we could see This kind of activity happened in other major American cities, including New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
So I'm curious to hear from you, ladies and gentlemen. Do you support the President in this effort, or do you believe this may be overreached by the federal government inserting themselves into the affairs of individual cities? We're going to be taking your calls on this today. Our telephone number is 901-260-5926. Again, 901-260-5926.
We're very excited. To have back with us. Our great friend, the former executive producer of this great show, Now in Washington, DC, as a press secretary, Our good buddy Ben Dieter. Ben, good to have you back with us. It's great to be in Starnes Country, Todd.
Well, thank you, Dieter. What is Starnes Country? I like this name. But is there a flag? Do I say the Pledge of Allegiance to you?
We're working on a flag.
Okay. Yeah, we're working on the flag. Do I have citizenship in Starn's Country? You could.
Okay. You could.
Let me know. There are certain things you would have to do.
Okay. But we don't, it's a meat-eating-only nation.
Okay. So, you got to make sure you're eating plenty of red meat. Otherwise, we need to work on a citizenship because we just don't want anybody coming up. I'm not the president of Stern's Country or the governor or mayor. I'm the benevolent dictator of Stern's Country.
You're a dictator on day one, too. Benevolent. Yeah. Wow. Anyway, good to have you back.
So, this is, you've been in Washington, D.C., you moved from Memphis, Tennessee. to Washington, D.C. And I've never felt more safe. But to the point about what you were saying about the DC crime. I was at Whole Foods just night before last, right there beside the Capitol, and it's true.
It's not just true social poster Judge Janine with the AG alongside of the President cracking down on DC's crime problem. Oh no, they are sending out every person that has a a a tactical vest gear, all the the things, and they are cracking down. They The president said, No more Mr. Nice Guy. They mean business.
So, right there at the Whole Foods, they had the FBI agents in there. It was crazy.
So, let's talk about before the announcement came down yesterday. What was it like in Washington? Was there really a crime epidemic happening? It's really, it's actually bad. And for these reporters or these pundits or these Democrats to say that there is really no crime problem, I think you had the mayor of DC out there, Mrs.
Bowser, is her name? She's like, oh, Muriel is like, it's a 30-year low of no, Todd. In Navy Yard, which is where a lot of Hill staff live, that's about not even a mile from the Capitol. I mean, it's a war zone, and it's... These young thugs that are lawless.
It's anarchy. And I think they've implemented some form of a. Curfew didn't work.
So I think the president realized, you know, there's got to be some strict enforcement of the law, and that's what he's doing. It's lawless, though.
So, when you talk about the thugs and the thuglings, and again, Navy Yard, which is where a lot of the staffers on Capitol Hill, they work, that's kind of like the cool area of town. What about like around Union Station? Back, I remember years ago when I was working at Fox. I mean, it was basically a homeless encampment. I mean, you had to literally step over people just to get out of the train station.
It's still that way. Really? I live in Capitol Hill, which is a neighborhood right beside. The house, and I can't tell you, it's actually quite shocking because you've got to look at the contrast. You have The place where our laws are made, you could argue one of the most powerful zip codes in the world, our nation's capital.
And the contrast of that to just stepping out of the speaker's balcony down the terrace and to see just people littering the streets. It's not a great look. It's something. It's quite Do you feel safe?
Well, I came from Memphis. Oh, sorry. That's my man. Do you want to rephrase that question? Had I have not come from Memphis, I would be terrified, but I grew up I I was in the streets of Memphis for four years.
The street is that like Ew! You're living up in an alleyway. Yeah, I was pulling up. Yeah, the whole thing. But no, Memphis is 10 times more dangerous than DC.
So I personally, because I have seen people shot in downtown Memphis, I have not seen that in DC, and I don't expect to because you got to put the context of Memphis crime up against DC's crime. They need to send all those people in DC right now. To the 901, real quick. You see, that's, I forgot about that because you do a lot of jogging. You're like a runner.
I mean, this is you run marathons and because I'm from Memphis and you got to run fast. We dropped you off. I'll never forget, you weren't that fast of a runner until we started dropping you off in like Orange Mound and some of the more dangerous cities. I'm like, all right, we'll see it back at the office, Ben. Run fast.
I learned that they were not firecrackers, those were gunshots. Run, white boy! Run!
So I mean, it is a problem and I I tweeted this out actually yesterday and it went viral. Great. Love to see the action from the federal government and President Trump making DC safe again, but now do that in some of these other cities in flyover country, aka all of us in the middle of the country, because we could use those resources. And the question is, and again, I get it. I got a lot of hate mail yesterday because of what I wrote.
And again, I appreciate what the president is doing. And I understand. We've got to have a nice conversation. Clean, safe capital city. That is very important.
But the reality is, there are a lot of cities out there, and of course, I live in one of them. And people are like, well, you should just quit your radio show and run for mayor. You guys get what you deserve. And so my question is: okay, fine. If we get what we deserve, what happens when a city the size of Memphis completely implodes?
And then it becomes everybody's problem. Mm-hmm.
Well, and you probably mentioned this yesterday. I caught some of the show. You look at how many homicides have already occurred in the city which we're broadcasting from, compared to the nation's capital, we have 100,000 less people, right? And I think their numbers were like 87 homicides. Correct me if I've got that wrong.
What are we pushing in Memphis? 170? 171, yeah. It's unbelievable. I think the big story, though, is how.
You now have a whole group of people, and I'm referring to Democrats, now defending.
So they've defended all sorts of nonsense, and that's why they lost. And now, because they hate Trump so much, imagine hating Trump so much, your Trump derangement is so severe that you are now going to side. With protecting Thugs.
Well, not only that, you've got Maxine Waters out there now saying that this is going to lead to civil war. You had a Democrat city councilman in Washington, D.C. this morning say that there will be. There will be conflicts. There will be basically violence.
From the citizenry on the federal authorities. I don't think that's going to be a very good move on behalf of the citizenry. Mm-mm. I mean, the real conflict is going to be when President Trump walks down Constitution Avenue and he starts kicking people off the tents or out of the tents. And that.
I'm sorry, that's like. Against groupthink and like orthodox thinking, that we've become a society which calls homeless people unhouse people because that's like the Mother Teresa thing to do. It's not good, it's not safe. It's not fair to the people that are paying taxes there. It's Leading to a decline in tourism in a lot of these large metro areas.
And also, it's not a very sympathetic. thing to do to allow those people to be living in those conditions as they have for years. I actually think the empathetic thing that the President is doing, it should be the model for all of these cities. That you are cracking down on the homeless population. You are getting those places or those people into places where they can get resources, get help.
And that to me seems like The cheesiest thing to do. But they want to see them just on the streets. I remember two years ago, we were doing a book signing up on Capitol Hill, Mark Meadows and his crew, a great little town home. And the hotel I was in, I walked outside and I was waiting for the Uber. And the security guard comes over and says, You probably don't want to be waiting out here.
It was already dark and he said, You probably just want to wait inside. I'll let you know when your car gets here. And it's just not safe. Oh, but you're like, remember when you got booked into the wrong hotel in D.C.? Yeah, that was the one.
Oh, okay. I got booked into the rough part of town. I got a phone call from Todd. He was a scared Todd. He was a worried Todd.
You were a prayed-up Todd. Yeah. You saw your price. Yeah. Yeah, isn't that crazy that you actually have to step over homeless people to go into those row houses, which I mean, you look at the housing market there.
I mean, we're talking millions of dollars. It's Orwellian, it's really dystopian. Ben Dieter with us, the former executive producer, back home to visit now Press Secretary to Congressman John Rose in our nation's capital. Can you stick around for another segment? Happy to.
All right. Got to take a break here, folks. Real curious here: do you support President Trump's move here, federalizing? The DC Police Department bringing in the National Guard and What cities do you think he ought to follow through on next? New York City, San Francisco?

Swing on by, and Ben, it's like you just never left. You're just picking right up where you left off. Yeah, I I love I love Starn's country.
What can I say? I've got my passport. I'm back, baby. We do pra pract we practice strong border security in Starnes Country. And let me ask you.
Oh my gosh, can I say something? They make me take off my shoes flying here. I wasn't sure if that was fake news. They did not. You don't have to take off your shoes going through, I mean, all these trips.
Maybe you're going on a late summer vacation. It's true. You can keep your shoes on at the freaking airports. Did you see the video? Terry Branshaw, the great NFL star, and you see him on the Fox.
Is he still on Fox Dylan? No, ESPN? Is he retired? Help me out. I do not know.
Terry Bradshaw? Terry Bradshaw. He was, as a matter of fact, a little history on Terry Bradshaw. He and Phil Robertson, the late Phil Robertson from Duck Dynasty, used to play ball together at Louisiana Tech. But I digress.
Anyway, Terry Bradshaw got stopped at the airport and by security, TSA security. They're patting the poor guy down. There's nothing there. And then they bring the. I mean, he is a fucking.
Football star, TV sports star, and they drag him into this private room for another extreme pat down.
So it's still going on, even though they let you keep your shoes on. I mean, who does that? I've been a strong proponent of completely eliminating TSA. I can't even fathom. I can't even fathom the concept.
I'm going to be probably the contrarian here. I'm thankful for it because I don't trust people. Like, I probably profile more than I should. And I just, I have some insurance knowing I'm getting on that American Airlines flight in a little, in a couple hours, knowing that everybody's been. Pat down.
There was a time, I remember when I was a kid, you could show up at the airport, you could just go right to the gate. People smoked cigarettes on the airplane. But the good thing is, they had a curtain that separated the smoking section of the plane from the non-smoking section of the plane. Much like Cranker Barrel and the lattice. Mm.
That's going to stop you from getting. You walk off the plane, I swear. You would land, and then they would open up the doors and. Smoke would just sort of like ooze out of the uh ooze out of the jet lighter. That's the way it used to be.
It's terrible.
So, anyway, I'm curious to know from your perspective, being a press secretary, what is that experience like? You've always wanted to do this. I'm Yeah, I guess it's great. You know, it's interesting being inside the fort. You know, you grow up going on your seventh or eighth grade field trips to the nation's capital.
You go on your tour, and you probably have all had those experiences. And then to be on the inside, It's interesting being on the inside. I don't know if I'm a bureaucrat. I'm not a self-proclaimed one. I hope that my work is speaking for itself and we're delivering results and helping this president get this agenda through.
I believe Congressman John Rose from District 6, who's running for governor in the state of Tennessee, is executing that. But there's a lot. Of red tape in Washington, and it is frustrating. And you hear that from your bosses, bosses being members of Congress. You know, the roles, the packages, the.
appropriations, it's a lot and I think a lot of times Our members are not going home and touching grass and realizing that back home, they just want stuff done. Like when you say, let's. Get crime under control, do it. When you say, let's lower gas prices or the cost of groceries, get it done because we gave them all a mandate. And now we are in control, and we've got to keep that control because you know those impeachments start after November 2026 if we lose control of the House.
I don't think that's going to happen, but we've got to deliver. We really do. Do the does the the caucus do they understand that the base is not very happy with them right now at the the pace things are moving with getting Trump's agenda through Congress? You just have to go back to your district and you hear that. If you're not going back to your Respective district and talking to people, then yeah, you probably are patting yourself on the back.
But you've got to, again, that's why it's so important for. members to remember always who sent them there, who invested that mandate within these people to go effect change in our nation's capital. That being said, you know, there's a lot of resistance in Washington. And you see that up close and personal. I'm not discouraged.
I like it. It's a great job. And it's an honor to serve in the House, but there's a lot of red tape and it's frustrating. And you could see that with the president. The president wants his agenda pushed through.
Is there a really cool project? Hook. There's a lot of cool perks. I think maybe the coolest perk is You know the night of the one big beautiful bill when it passed? I pulled an all-nighter in the Capitol.
It was quite. Quite crazy, and you get to walk over there. I actually fell asleep because Hakeem Jeffries was holding on, and remember, he broke over. Oh, yeah, that's right.
So, when you're a hillstaffer and you have your badge, your security badge, it kind of gives you the keys to anywhere you want to wander around. And it's a great, great gig, but all in part due to my time in Memphis as set me up for a great career. Speaking of keys, I hear you're taking the Cadillac out for a spin, so be sure to gas it up when you bring it back, though. All right, well, Ben Dieter, super proud of you, and we're so happy you came back and you didn't forget us. I'll be back in Starn's Country before you know it.

So I'm gonna give you a I'm going to give you the Todd Stern's take here on something. I Trump is not going to run for what would be a third term in office. But if he did. If he did. He would win in a landslide.
And I want to explain what's going on here because a lot of people in the drive-by media are really flummoxed. By these polls that are out there. And it doesn't matter what Trump does. His numbers continue to rise. And it's really confounding people in the drive-by world.
They thought for sure that the whole Jeffrey Epstein thing was going to be the end of the entire administration. But it turned out nobody cares. And we we played the audio from CNN yesterday and their surveys. Nobody cares. And the reason why is because what Jeffrey Epstein did, no matter how heinous it may have been.
It has very little, if any, impact at all on the average American. You know what the average American is concerned about right now? They're concerned about paying their mortgage. They're concerned about groceries. And by the way, the grocery price is going down.
They're concerned about the high price of gasoline, which is now going down. They're concerned about getting their kids educated, getting their kids a job, and getting their kids out of the nest. which has still been a challenge for a lot of families. But I'm telling you that by and large. Even the Democrats, and the Democrats, they'll never admit this.
They will never, ever admit this, but they actually support what President Trump is doing right now on this crime initiative because this one issue has destroyed American cities. I mean, you look at what's happening in downtown Chicago. And I spent a lot of time in the windy city when I had to cover Obama's campaign as a reporter for Fox. And it was a fun, walkable City, there were lots of people out. There was a lot of fun, a lot of stuff happening, and now people live in fear.
of these roving gangs of of young teenagers, these Utes.
So, I want to give you an illustration of this.
So, Joe Scarborough over at MSDNC. He was talking about a call he got from a liberal friend about the whole, how Trump is handling the crime epidemic in our nation's capital. Take a listen to this. And I want to read you a text from someone who. But I I won't.
say their name, but They're, we'll just say that they're very liberal. And uh He says, this may sound controversial, but I'm not totally opposed to Trump's National Guard move in D.C. I know he's doing it for politics, but crime remains rampant. I've had too many friends carjacked, shot at. None of us will walk more than three blocks after 8 p.m.
13-year-olds are committing many of these crimes, quite a change from the decade ago when things were much calmer.
Well, that actually sounds like the D.C. that I lived in when I lived a block behind the Supreme Court. And, you know. Every three days, one of my neighbors was getting held up at gunpoint. I mean, there has been a crime problem in D.C.
And there and that's why Trump is doing this. And I would disagree with Scarborough. This has nothing to do with politics. Trump Trump understands that a city cannot thrive if people are living in fear. That's why he's stepping in and he's doing something about this.
Can you imagine? And again, Washington, D.C. is a. is a tourist destination. It's a tourist Mecca.
But it's also a family-friendly tourist destination. And you can't imagine the scenes when mom and dad from Waterloo, Iowa, listening to radio station KXEL, they pack up the kids in the um in the station wagon. Are they still have station wagons? No, the the SUV. And they drive to Washington, or they take the train, and they get off at Union Station, and the kids have to climb over.
these bodies of homeless people and drug addicts. You think they're ever going to go back to Washington? No, of course not. No.
So that's what Trump is trying to do here. Look, I've got to give credit to this ABC News anchor because she's going to be a good question. She's actually refuting the reporting of her own network. She works in the DC Bureau. Take a listen.
We've been talking so much about the numbers, and yeah, usually that's how you play devil's advocate: you talk about, oh, well, stats say crime is down.
However, I can tell you firsthand here in downtown DC, where we work, right here around our bureau, just in the past six months, there were two people shot. One person died literally two blocks down here from the bureau. It was within the last two years that I actually was jumped walking just two blocks down from here. And then just this morning, one of my co-workers said her car was stolen a block away from the bureau.
So we can talk about the numbers going down, but crime is happening every single day because we're all experiencing it firsthand while working and living down here. Thank you for at least being open and honest about it because everybody. Everybody, including the liberals, and by the way, they've been victims of just as many crimes as the conservatives have. but they're just not willing to admit it. But if we can finally get a handle on this issue, and one of the things that we're going to have to do, and this is going to take people like Dr.
Ben Carson. Condoles arise, or Larry Elder and many other black leaders. There's going to have to be some sort of a summit.
Some sort of a of a coming together To address this issue of what's happening in the black culture in America. And I know a lot of people, oh my God, I can't believe he said that. Sweet Lord. Why, that's Steins We knew it. He's just an old-fashioned KKK southern plantation racist.
I see, I see. No, that's not it at all. If an overwhelming amount of crime in this country was being committed, By Rednecks. Yeah, I'd be out there and I'd be raising cane about it. Because we've got big problems and we can't afford, we can't dilly dally, we can't dance around the issue.
and the issue is within the culture of the black community. And when you whittle that down, when you're drilling down on that issue, you can go all the way back to the nineteen sixties and Lyndon Johnson and the and the policies of the great society which destroyed the black community and the black family specifically in this nation. You know, I've been watching one of my um I it's not even a guilty pleasure. I just I have just weird taste in movies and T V shows. And uh one minute I'm watching Draft Day with Kevin Costner, the next I'm watching um the uh Gilded Age on HBO.
And it's a great period drama. And very well written. And as a writer, as an author, I just enjoy good writing and character development and things like that.
So anyway, I know if you've watched this, it's on HBO Max. And one of the storylines involves blacks during the Gilded Age. And it was fascinating to see the stories because these are all based on real-life people to some extent.
Some of the characters are made up, but or they're based on real-life people. And a lot of folks may not realize this, but there was a very wealthy class, a very wealthy upper class. of blacks in the United States during the Golden Age, which was in the what uh late eighteen uh eighteen eighties or so. Very wealthy, and they would have the same balls and the parties, and they would have the debutantes that the rich white folks would have.
So you had rich black folks, you had rich white folks. Why aren't they teaching that? Why aren't they teaching that in public schools? They would have you believe. that the black man in America has been oppressed since they came over on the slave ships.
But nobody wants to talk about that. At all. There was a time in the nineteen in the early nineteen hundreds, leading into the nineteen twenties and thirties, when you had many major cities, including southern cities, you had a growing class of wealthy. I'm not talking about middle class, I'm talking about wealthy black Americans. including in the Deep South, including in the Mid South.
I've told you before that the Republican Party in Memphis, Tennessee, was founded by a black man. Robert Church. For the sole intent of registering black people to vote in elections. As a matter of fact, many blacks were involved in the Republican Party. They were named to be delegates to the Republican National Convention.
This was all part of history that you do not hear about, that they are not teaching the kids in American. You know why? Because it flies in the face of this fake narrative. Look, their narrative is that the black man can never get ahead and that it's always someone else's fault. When in fact history American history teaches us that not only did the black man get ahead in life, but the black man was incredibly successful.
Beyond all measure. And that was one of my takeaways from watching The Gilded Age. And it was interesting watching the comments. We had no idea this was going.
Well, why would you? Because they're not teaching that in American history. very selective what they're doing, and that is a shame. Because we need to be teaching that history. Good, bad, it's our history and we ought to be teaching it.
But again, this is where we are. And I'm glad President Trump is doing this. But let me back up and say this. They're going to be people like Maxine Waters, who says this is going to lead to civil war. And it very well may lead to some sort of a war.

I have no doubt that the Democrats and their goons are going to fight and cause mayhem. That's a given. But you know what else it may do? It may just release even more minorities from the Democrat Party's plantation. Because you see the Democrat Party And it was such an evil thing that Lyndon Johnson did.
You know, they uh society and and history is starting to rewrite Lyndon Johnson as some sort of a great historical figure. This was an evil racist man. And Lyndon Johnson. Wanted to make sure that Democrats would always, always Be Democrats. That was his goal.
And one of the ways to do that was to enslave people to the federal government, to make the government mommy and daddy to generations of Americans. And that's really what we're dealing with here. It goes all the way back to LBJ. All right, we got to take a break here. 901-260-5926.
I didn't mean to do a history lesson here, but I needed to give you the context of where all of this came from. 901-260-5926. This is the Ton Sturgeon Show. And welcome back. Big story that's brewing, and there are a lot of moving parts up on Capitol Hill.
But uh we have brand new info on Joe Biden and His health and it is not good. Fox News, Andrew Mark Miller is the writer. There are some newly unearthed emails. And these emails Revealed that the White House Put a stop to President Biden visiting a ship in Philadelphia. Because of how many steps were involved.
Now, this was all happening, by the way, as they were telling us. Oh, there's nothing wrong with this guy, he could run a marathon. Yes, he's ninety eight years old. But he's spry as a fox, that old Joe. According to Fox, and this is their exclusive.
The unearthed emails were part of a FOIA request. Showing the administration scraped plans to visit a vessel at an event because Biden would have had to have taken too many steps.
So that tells me That Leading up to this moment, they figured out: wait a second, this guy can't stand upright for too terribly long. Record show is part of a FOIA request by the Protect the Public's Trust. That Biden was set to visit the National Security Multi-Mission. Vessel. Was this after?
This may have been after he fell down on the stage. The emails show that the Maritime Administration was engaged in a major project at the shipyard at the time Biden was planning to visit. touting offshore wind and clean energy jobs.
So, did they have an advanced team? Were they actually counting the number of steps? One Two? I mean, how many steps? That's what I want to know.
So they ended up Just cancelling the whole thing.
So it did. It came after about a month after President Biden took a tumble at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. Remember that? That was back in twenty twenty three.
So they knew at least back in twenty twenty three and before that, That that Biden could not walk. that there was something wrong with the guy. But at the same time, Je Corinne Jean-Pierre. What is she doing now? Is she working like a TJ Maxx or something?
I mean, nobody's seen her.
So Corinne Jean-Pierre. was out there saying, oh yeah. The guy's fit as a fiddle. He's doin' great Could run a marathon. Old Joe could.
So this is all going to come out, and more of this information is going to come out because clearly there was a cover up involving the president's this is the worst kept secret in American history. Everybody knew the guy was Adold.
So the question is, who was Who was leading the White House, who was making the decisions? Who was in charge of the auto pin? Were they really charging for those pardons and the clemencies? If so, who was getting that money?
So there are all sorts of questions that have to be addressed here. And I have no doubt that Congress is going to be all over this. The question is, were any crimes committed? Was there a cover-up and is the cover-up of Biden's health? Did that actually constitute a crime, and that will be the million dollar quote.
It may not have. It may not have that just may be on us because it's not like they covered it up. Everybody could see it, right? I mean, everybody knew. That Joe Biden His cheese had slid off his cracker.
Everybody knew that. Everybody.
So not that big of a surprise. All right, coming up, we have more intel on Hill and Billary Clinton. Did I say Hill and Billery? Man, it has been a long day, Dillon. Hill and Bill?
Okay. Yeah. Makes it short and sweet. Bill and Hillary. You know, I haven't had my vacation yet.
And I'm plotting it out and it may it may come very, very soon. It may be after this show.
Sonio, we have more intel on Bill and Hillary Clinton. We'll tell you about that coming up. Also, I need some guidance. I. I need to figure out where I I have been really struggling with this work.

This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun totem, Bible-clinging, deplorable American. That's it! That's why I love this American ride. Stars for you.
Well, someone sent me an interesting story this morning. It's across the from across the big pond. Hello, everybody. Welcome. To the Todd Stern Tradio program.
Trust you're doing well. There are apparently troubled waters on Swan Lake. Dylan, have you ever been forced to go to a ballet? I have not had the Privilege to go to a ballet.
Well, that's a good answer.
Now that you're married, I don't know if your wife is Mrs. Producer, if she's a big ballet person. No, it's worse. She's into reality TV. Oh, really?
Yeah. I am forced to watch that. Why is that worse? Um, maybe it's not worse, but you got you gotta pick your battles when you're married, I guess, sometimes. Fair enough.
Well, all right.
Well, anyway, troubled waters on Swan Lake. That's a ballet. The Royal Ballet School has announced plans to employ more plus sized ballerinas. The artistic director, a gentleman by the name of Ian McKay. Told the London Times that audiences want dancers they can relate to.
But is that really true? It just seems to me when I was a kid, of course, I wasn't involved in ballet, but if you were. let's say you were a a baseball player and I was back when I was a kid I played little league and um unfortunately I couldn't I couldn't hit the ball. I At the time didn't realize it, but by third grade I realized I had to have glasses. Dylan, they gave me a nickname.
It was really hurtful. What was those great scholars? They called me Cool Breeze because they said that's the only thing that happened when I swung the bat. Those dang those bastards. Anyway, I uh Brought back bad memories.
And that was the coach who gave me the nickname. Glad you moved on. Your grandpa was my coach. Oh, Lord. Thank you, Uncle Jerry.
Rest in peace.
So, anyway, you wanted to aspire.
So, you wanted to be like Hank Aaron, or you wanted to be like Chipper Jones, or you wanted to be the best of the best, right?
So, you strive for that. You wanted to achieve something. It wasn't like you wanted to relate to them. And that's the whole thing. A role model, you look up to that person and you want to be like that person.
So you work hard and. I have to imagine if you're doing ballet, you've got to be somewhat athletic. And I mean, that was what it was like when I was growing up. But now the royal ballet says, no, no. No, no, because you have to be skinny, right?
I mean, that's the whole thing about being a ballerina. You got to be thin, you have to be physically fit.
So now he says not only are they going to let Full figured gals. Gallop across the stage. But he said they're going to introduce same-sex dance partners. And he said this is all part of an effort to create new audiences coming to the ballet. I'm sorry, but doesn't that audience already go to the ballet?
I mean, if you're if you're trying no, in all seriousness, I mean, if you if you go to like the theater or a ballet, you're gonna find a lot of um well, yeah. Multiple pronoun folks there. It's like a potpourri of pronouns. No, I'm not judging. I'm just making an observation.
That's all. It's just an observation.
So anyway, the The lead in Swan Lake could in fact be a dude.
So any critics are very upset. And they're arguing that the ballet company is promoting obesity, and they're also putting male dancers in danger. And this is a fair argument. There are others, though, who says that you know what there are some extremely talented full-figure dancers. And dance is meant to be enjoyed by everyone.
Is this true? I saw a video once. Uh they um A cabaret dancer, I say, a cabaret performer. I try to find a polite way to say this. I think her name was Trixie.
Or muffin. I can't remember which one. Anyway, um oh, it was Muffin. And uh Muffin was sort of a full figured gal, and I mean, she wasn't too terribly large, but she was knocking on the door of two hundred pounds. And um she was one of these pole dancers.
And I don't know, she got the um I don't know, it was reinforced steel. And she could, man, once she got the it, you know, once she got to twirling, she couldn't stop. And Centrifugal force. I mean, in a way, she almost became her own planet. There was like a gravitational.
Pull me. I mean, it was quite impressive. Very talented young lady, she was.
So, I'm not saying that you can't be, you know, fat and not be talented because certainly you can. And dance is certainly meant to be enjoyed by everybody. I mean, everybody wants to enjoy dancing. I still haven't figured out clogging, but you know what?
Some people like clogging.
Some people like line dancing. And then I'm well, I don't know what some of these other hip-hop dances are, but there's the twerking. Which I don't recommend for anybody over, say, 50 because you're going to throw your back out. You gotta watch out for those kinds of things.
So anyway, there you have it. And look, I have no doubt that the Royal Ballet, if they're having trouble getting butts in seats. That they could generate crowds. I mean, Dylan, let's get real for a second. If you knew.
That Was going to have to toss a three hundred pound ballerina into the air and catch her? I'd go see that. Front row seats.
Well, probably second row. You might want to back it up a little bit. Just backing up a smidge. The problem is what goes up must come down.
So, anyway. I'm hoping the Royal Ballet has a pretty good chiropractor and orthopaedic surgeon on hand, but that's just me. Oh, wow. All right. 901-260-5926.
That's 901-260-5926. You know, tying all of this into the Sidney Sweeney thing, which is still a thing. It is just shocking. There is. Have you seen The Sorority Girls, Dullin?
You know, they got the videos going, and all these sorority girls are coming out there, and they're all wearing the jeans, and they're doing some sort of a dance. Yeah, it's very synchronized. And they're mostly southern sororities. And I got to tell you something, those those women terrify me. I think they could take on an advancing enemy.
Yeah, they are a small army. It's kind of like the Taylor Swift fans, but that's a different topic. Except enjoyable.
So.
So, anyway, there is so these sorority girls are going, and they're catching hold of you-know-what as well, because they're like embracing this idea that you know what? She's Louis had no idea. It's okay to be a white person and have blonde hair and blue eyes and look. What good and form fitting blue jeans. Who knew?
And many of the, you can tell the southern girls because they've got the daisy dukes. And of course you know that reference, Dillon, being a good Southerner, red-blooded Southern young man. You know where the Daisy Dukes came from. You don't know where the naisy news came from. Mm.
Yeah. Do you think it's a hazard? Oh, that's a good guess. It it's actually correct, yes. It actually is?
Yeah, because Daisy Duke, who was a character, used to wear short, short blue jean cutoffs. They called them Daisy Doos. This is why I'm on the trivia team. You see, that's a good answer. Yeah.
Thanks, Todd. I'm glad I could help. Glad I could be of service.
So, anyway, there is some new polling data out. I'm getting around to the news hook here. And they're asking what Americans think about. Sidney Sweeney. And it turns out, according to this poll, because people are really offended by that.
I mean, I've never seen so many people offended by an attractive young lady who is very successful and look, she's making money by posing in a pair of blue jeans. I mean, that's a pretty good gig if you can get it. Anyway, according to an economist YouGov poll. Just 12% of U.S. adults considered the ad offensive.
By comparison, 39% found the Genes and Clever. Others didn't have much of an opinion. And I guess, I mean, I guess I would be in the, you know what?
Okay, it's, I really don't have an opinion about it, but it's like, okay, good. Good for you. You know what they're upset about, though? They're upset because a white person is in the TV commercial. That's the reason why they're all upset.
According to Outkick.com. The study underscores the disconnect between the outrage machine and ordinary Americans. To far-left journalists and commentators, Sweeney's ad symbolizes eugenics and Nazi propaganda. But to ordinary Americans, the ad simply features an attractive woman who looks good in blue jeans. You know what happened when I saw the Beyoncé ad?
It's a very similar ad, and Beyonce was in her blue jeans. I'm like, eh, okay. Beyonce had a blond wig on. Did I accuse her of cultural appropriation? No.
I'm like, Ah, okay. Nice ad. What's for supper? I mean, it's. What's the big deal?
But people are making a big deal about all of this. According to David Dennis. An ESPN contributor. He claimed the ad left him mortified. Mortified.
Here's what mister Dennis of ESPN wrote Well, I didn't think anything of the Sydney Sweeney ads, but then actual scholars on messaging, eugenics, and fascism explained what was going on. And then, yes, I understood and became pretty mortified because, hey, Sometimes It's good to listen to the experts.
Okay. That's kind of embarrassing. Come on, come on, dude. Be a man. Tired of giving away all your rental profits to a property manager?
You don't have to. Over 800,000 landlords use Turbotenant to find and manage tenants. Keep your 10% and sign up for free at turbotenent.com.
So anyway, there you have it. That's the very latest on the Sydney Sweeney thing. American Eagle, they're pretty happy. They're making a lot of money. Their stock looks great.
People are flocking into the stores. They're buying blue jeans. And what I love. About this whole story. is that you've got little girls, little white girls.
In school right now, and they're being told by their teachers that they're very bad people because of the color of their skin, and they're being told that they're oppressors. And that they ought to be shameful of how God created them. And ads like this let these little girls know that you know what, it's okay to be white and it's okay to have blond hair, it's okay to have blue eyes, and it's okay to fit comfortably into a pair of blue jeans. There's nothing wrong with that. in America.
And it seems to me that That flies right alongside this incredible dream that MLK once had. But again, that's just me. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

I am the most erudite mind, brilliant thinker and political philosopher. I'm doing good. How about yourself? I'm you know, I'm doing well. It's uh it's Elvis Week.
Lots of people in town. Oh, yeah. That's right. That's right. Uh, I was just trying to think through what you said about the full figure ballet dancers.
Yes, and I'm trying to figure out how it's gonna work. I'm I'm thinking a forklift. I don't not sure. You know you know, those young ladies, they weigh about ninety pounds, uh, soaked wet. You know, they spin around and spin around pretty fast.
My question is, I can't remember. Got a problem when they spin around real fast, the full figure one. How are you going to stop it from spinning? Yeah. What are you gonna say?
Whoa, horsey? That ain't gonna work. I don't know. I don't know, black conservative. I'm just saying uh I'm just a man of much book learning.
I'm just trying to figure it out how we're gonna stop it from spinning. It's a good question. They're going to have to have some safety mechanisms in place. Use a taser. That may work.
Okay. Or maybe a donut on a stick. I don't know. It's. Oh my goodness.
Oh my god. I'm done with that. I'm done with that. Only in America. That's true.
You know, I'm not going to even touch on the other thing I want to. I think that's enough. Blackens. Black Conservative, thank you for making our day. I think that's all your audience can take from the black conservative today.

This is the Todd Stern Show. Our good friend, Congressman Ron Estes. Dealing with a horrible tragedy. The congressman from Kansas, and he represents the Wichita area. A lot of our listeners there, KQAM is our great affiliate in Wichita.
And it was, wow, almost a month to the day. that one of his interns Eric Tarpinian was gunned down. On the streets of Washington, D.C. This incredible young man, he was an innocent bystander. Several other people.
were were shot when when this happened. and they survived, but this young man lost his life. And it's yet just another reminder of the horrible, horrible. uh dangers that exist there in our nation's capital. You know, this young man, a 21-year-old, he had his entire Entire life in front of him, and he was just shot down in the streets of Washington.
I want you to listen to what his mom had to say. And she was just so grateful that President Trump is taking action to make Washington, D.C. safe again. I just when I heard the news today. And he mentioned my son, not by name, and mentioned the others who have been.
Victims of violent crime. I was so happy. And I said, I looked at Eric's sashes. And I said Eric. You haven't died in vain.
Yeah. Things will change.
So other people are safe. When they go visit DC or work in DC. And that's my goal. to make people safe. And it It's they were all President Trump was 100% spot on with what he said.
Just a horrible, a horrible story. And this lady, what a precious lady, losing her son to the senseless violence on the streets of Washington.
Well, I want to bring into the conversation our good friend, Josh Jones. And Josh, you live in Washington, D.C. At one point, I believe you lived in Navy Yards. I'm just curious, from your first-hand experiences, how dangerous is it living in our nation's capital? I mean, look, it's a mixed bag, obviously, because it's a big city and you have a lot of different areas.
But I mean, President Trump is absolutely correct here to take the action that he is. D.C. is unsafe for a lot of people. I know many people personally who have been a victim of either violent crime or, you know, whether it's petty crime, but I mean, crime is crime at the end of the day. And President Trump and the administration here, if you watch that press conference from yesterday, they're very serious about taking action and getting this addressed.
Is that something that you guys talk about? You're a young guy, and I have to imagine you and your friends like to go out in the evening time, and that's probably the last thing on your minds. But does that factor into what you guys do after hours? Absolutely. I mean, like you said, particularly on a Friday, Saturday night, the city, particular parts of the city, can get very active, which is a great thing for the local economy and for people to go out and do and have fun.
But also, I mean, that does come up with safety risk. And a lot of times, you're not considering that in the moment until you're in that situation. And then it could be a life or death situation that you're having to deal with. It's hard to think about that when you I know you came from a small town, moving to a city like Washington, which you would think would be the safest city in the country, when in fact it's really dangerous. Yeah, you're absolutely correct.
And President Trump was also right in his assessment of the situation yesterday in his press conference where if the door of a restaurant is not well kept and clean, then the rest of the restaurant is definitely not well kept and clean.
Well, Washington, D.C. is the door of the United States. This is the stage in which the United States is represented to the world.
So if the United States capital, Washington, D.C., isn't a safe place for tourists and others to come visit, especially international guests, then the rest of the country has that image.
So President Trump is absolutely correct here, both for the safety of its residents, myself included in that, but also from an optics standpoint to the rest of the world. Yeah, as a matter of fact, we have that, the audio of President Trump talking last night about that. Let's take a listen. Yeah. Said, you know, my father always used to tell me, I had a wonderful father, very smart.
And He used to say son. When you walk into a restaurant and you see a dirty front door Don't go in. Because if the front door is dirty, the kitchen's dirty also. Same thing with the capital. If our capital is dirty, Our whole country is dirty and they don't respect us.
So it's a very good question, actually. Yeah, I i it really is. You know, Josh, just moments ago we had uh Ben Teeter with us in studio. Uh he lives uh not too far from the Capitol building, within walking distance, and he said that he's already noticed National Guard troops, military officials on the streets. What about yourself?
Yeah, absolutely. I live, like you mentioned before, I used to live in Navy Yard, but I still work in Navy Yard now. And then I personally live up in the northwest portion of DC now. And I also personally saw federal agents out in the streets last night patrolling. And if you go on Twitter, there's plenty of other instances of it too.
So I hope this is just the first step that this administration takes. And they follow through on cracking down on crime in the city. Again, President Trump has a good team here. If you look at that press conference, DOD, DOJ, the district attorney, everybody's aligned here.
So I hope they follow through and they execute on this and they secure our nation's capital. All right, so I was, so I did my internship in Washington, D.C., back when we had AOL dial-up service.
So that was a long time ago. But I can tell you that Navy Yards didn't even exist. I mean, there wasn't a lot over there. And so it really has been developed into being a high-end destination area, which is really shocking to hear about the amount. of crime that's happening there.
Yeah, you're absolutely correct. Navy Yard, all things considered, is a very new development. And if you're just walking the streets here, particularly if you're not from the area, you would think, oh, this is probably one of the safest, nicest parts of the city, which is relatively nice and relatively safe most of the time, but particularly on the weekends or like late in the evenings. And even the city government, which is not typically serious about tackling crime in this city, put out a curfew. Yeah, I'm I'm all for that.
Look, whatever it takes. And if you've got a kid, if you're a parent and your kid is under the age of 18 years old and they're out on the streets at at night during a school night, you've got big problems here. Absolutely, yeah. I mean, it goes beyond just talking about the crime and the effect on the community. That's something that goes back to parenting.
So, Joshua Jones on our Patriot Mobile Newsmaker line today. Josh, I know that you guys have been gearing up for the midterm elections. I'm telling you, based on the responses I'm hearing from people, who are liberals about what President Trump is doing here. And they're all very supportive of other they may not come out and say it publicly, but everybody knows how bad things are in DC. I'm telling you, this could really help Republicans in the midterm elections if he's able to clean up DC.
Absolutely. I totally agree. Many of my Democrat, liberal friends, they might not be cheerleading alongside the rest of us, encouraging the administration to do this, but they're also not pushing back on it. And they're quietly supporting.
So I think if President Trump and the administration can really follow through here, that this could be a blueprint for other cities to follow and secure America's cities again. I mean, so many of the cities in America, I mean, I know even down in Tennessee, you guys have some issues.
So it's not just some of these major metropolitans that are facing a crime issue.
So I'm hoping they can create a blueprint here to secure our cities again and make it a place where you can not only live and work, but also raise a family. Just wanted to bring this to your attention. You're a Virginia guy, and you're Governor Glenn Youngkin. Guess where he's been lately? I I'm going to let you tell me.
Where has he been? He's been in Iowa. I'm just kind of curious, what what's he doing out there in Iowa? You think this guy may be maybe testing the waters of Smidge? I can't personally speak to that.
So I don't have an answer for you offhand. But, you know, I think Governor Young is committed to supporting Republicans up and down the ballot.
So I think even once he's out of the governor's office, he'll continue to help Republicans with support. This is the headline. That was a great political answer, by the way. This is from Axios Richmond. Youngkin visits Iowa and South Carolina as 2028 presidential race looms.
So, you know, the great thing here, Josh, and we have a Senate race in Tennessee that's going to be pretty, pretty heated. We've got two great candidates, Marsha Blackburn and John Rose. And I would say this about Glenn Youngkin: he is going to be part of a great field of very experienced, very well-qualified potential presidential candidates. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, that's one thing I keep telling folks on both sides of the aisle.
If you look at the Republican bench right now, we have a great bench of contenders that kind of carry the mantle once President Trump finishes his second term, whether that's Juncken, Rubio, Vance, you know, and many others. Whereas if you look on the Democrat side, they don't really have a very good bench, and those that they do have that are expressing interest aren't very viable candidates.
So I think Republicans have a great team right now, and we should definitely cash in on that as we move forward to the future elections. All right. Well, Josh, we're going to have to leave it there. Be safe in Washington. Be sure to check in.
Just let us know how you're doing.
Well, dude. Thank you, Todd. All right. Thanks, Josh. All right.

All right, welcome back to the Todd Starns Radio Show. Great to have you with us today. You know, I mentioned AOL Dial-up service, and that is a foreign concept to many millennials and Gen Zers. And Della, we've got it. You know what?
I've got it. Della, I'm sending you a note. We need the audio of the old AOL dial-up, what it used to sound like when you wanted to log in. To the internet. It wasn't like an automatic thing.
You had to dial into the internet, and it used to take an eternity. Uh to do. But anyway, a lot of people, and I had no idea that so many people were still. On the old AOL dial-up service.
So here's the deal: it's all ending. At the end of the month, AOL is closing up its dial-up service at the end of September. They've been doing that for 30 years. thirty years. Providing a landline-based online connectivity.
And I, according to CNBC, They say that there are thousands of people around the country who still use dial-up service. Can you imagine, Dylan? This is what it would sound like if you wanted to like. Get on the internet. Yeah.
Sounds like my computer's being hacked. That's it. And then it would just take forever.
Okay, we're good. I don't want to go that far down memory every single time. Every single time. every single time. Interesting.
So, mm-hmm.
So, anyway, they used to call it America Online. And they made I mean Millions of people. I mean, that's how you got on the internet. That was long before Wi-Fi and all of that.
So back in the 1990s, that's how we all. Did anybody remember that? Those days I'll never forget. I was one of my early newspaper jobs. I wanted to bring my own personal computer into the office, and the editor of the newspaper freaked out.
He said, you can't bring that computer into the because it might give a virus to the other computers. And at all serious, I mean, that's people had no concept. Yeah. So anyway, there you go. That's the end of an era.
Goodbye. Do any of our listeners, any of you guys, actually still use AOL dial-up service? I'd be very curious to know. Also, um, I, you know, I cut the cable cord. I don't know if I told you guys that.
I've been considering it for a long time. And I finally cut the cable cord, and I'm no longer getting cable. But I realized that I I I'm trying to do the math here, but I think I'm now spending more money on streaming services than I am on cable. Dylan, have you guys noticed that? Yeah, we use YouTube TV, which is basically cable, but The services are just getting more expensive by the day.
And then you were originally paying for ad-free content, and now they have the mandatory ads. Yeah, you can't avoid ads now. And that's what kills. First of all, Amazon Prime is almost unusable, their video service. It is so bad.
I don't know who designed it. But then, you know, when you, even when you have the prime service, you're still getting all the ads. I'm like, what am I paying for here? Yeah, and you're paying the same price that you would pay without the ads.
So it's just. It's like you didn't even Pay for the ads or pay without the ads anyway.
So it looks as though there's a report out in one of the industry trades that cable may be making a comeback, and people are now returning to their roots of cable. According to research, From including data from 2025 compared to 2013, 22% of Americans have now returned to cable. Another 6% are considering making the switch back. 47% of Americans have canceled at least one streaming subscription due to the increasing cost. I'll give you an example.
Is it Hulu?
So you have a Hulu, and if you have a Disney, I think it's Hulu and Disney, because they're now merging back together again.
So, okay. Am I going to have to pay double now? I mean, how does that work? Or what was the other one? Showtime.
And was it Showtime and Hulu, I believe. It's just insane. The number I mean, it's just hundreds of dollars. And I think the average cable package is maybe two hundred dollars max. Yeah.
So these like big companies like Disney are buying out smaller streaming services and then they're upcharging their services to get both essentially, but It's yeah. It's outrageous. And then even Netflix. I mean it's It's almost becoming the Hallmark channel now. It's not good.
No, it's not. And the amount of new content, it's slowing down. And you just don't, you're not getting, I don't think you're getting your money's worth. I mean, there are some good shows. But I'm not, you know, again, I'm one of the still managing your rental business like a side hustle.
Stop risking your cash flow. Over 800,000 landlords use TurboTenant to streamline their rental operations for free. From finding tenants you trust to collecting rent on time. We've got you covered at Turbotenet.com. Guys, I'll sign up for the subscription, and then when the season's over, I'll cancel it.
Smart. But I'm curious, any of you folks out there, Have decided, you know what? It's cheaper to go back to cable. Everybody thought that streaming was going to be the death of cable, and I think streaming is just costing so much money. It's kind of like Sirius XM.
Who wants to pay and especially now that Stern's leaving, who really wants to pay all that money for radio that you could get for free by listening to the radio in your car? Or you can download a radio app for free? I'm just saying. All right, we got to take a break here. 901-260-5926.
I am curious, any of you people who cut the cable cord, are you looking at maybe going back? Maybe cheaper, save a few dollars. 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-5022. 260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.
Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr. Shut up! That's right. I love this American rat.
Well, I I am somewhat Horrified and fascinated by what I've been reading during the commercial break. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Tom Stearns Radio Show. Laura Loomer has filed a lawsuit against Bill Maher of HBO. And she recently sent for a deposition pertaining to the defamation lawsuit.
Marr actually suggested Loomer was having an affair with President Trump. You might remember that Loomer at the time had traveled with President Trump. He invited her to the big presidential debate with Kamala Harris.
So, anyway, this is so terrible. And we'll get, no, no, we're going to get to Laura Loomer and MTG in just a moment.
So anyway, the The Attorney for HBO. Was intrigued by some of the things that Loomer had been saying about Kamala Harris and etc., etc., and MTG. A reading from Media, Loomer. Responded by mocking MTG for her infidelity. and referencing the Arbies in your pants.
Oh my. The attorney said, Miss Loomer, can you explain to me? Terrible. I can't do this. Can you explain to me what it means to say that?
the Arbies in Her Pants. Mara Luma's attorney said objection relevancy. Answer the question. Loomer said Arby sells roast beef. Oh, I can't go on.
Let me just say. Let me just say something here. I'm never going to be able to eat an Arby's again. After reading this deposition, I will never ever be able to eat a delicious RB sandwich again. Geez, the Lord.
Thank you, Media Eye. Man, this thing is insane between a Lara Loomer and MTG. And some we can't even repeat half the stuff. The accusations hurling back and forth is just really shocking and and unbelievable. But there is there's a lot of there's a lot of dirt plying between those two And I will say this about Laura Loomer.
She's never been wrong about any of the people that she's accused of being disloyal to President Trump. I'm not saying that MTG is. I'm just telling you that Laura Loomer, you may not like her methods. But she has been spot on. And her defense of President Trump.
Jeez Lou. But MTG, reading from the New Republic, Malcolm Ferguson's piece. A Trump whisperer Laura Loomer and Marjory Taylor Greene have filed yet another chapter in their years-long public feud. This time the girls are fighting over a Medal of Honor uh recipient who tackled a suicide bomber. whom Loomer has excoriated for the crime of being a Democrat.
And it goes on from there. You know, it just seems to me, and I don't know, it's um uh just really a sideshow, honestly. I I don't think this really matters much to what's happening at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And I do believe that President Trump is grateful for the um The The work and the investigative skills. The reconnaissance is the word I was looking for that Laura Loomer's been providing is very helpful.
There are a lot of people in. Washington, DC That are grifters, and they do not have President Trump's best interest at heart. And that's just simply the way it is. All right, 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.
Last night on my Newsmax show, I had some great guests talking about the level of violence in Washington, D.C., and really what people in our nation's capital need to be doing. To protect themselves, let's check out our conversation with Jonathan Gilliam and Betsy Brantner.
Well, joining me now is Betsy Brantner-Smith, a spokesperson for the National Police Association, and Jonathan Gilliam, former FBI agent. Welcome to you both. I want to get your take, Betsy. And Jonathan, just jump right on after Betsy finishes here. I want to get your take on the president enacting the Home Rule Act.
He's federalizing the police department. He's sending in the National Guard. Is that going to be enough to stop the crime spree?
Well, he's done so much more than that. This is really a team effort, Todd. You know, he has prosecution involved. He's got the military involved. There's already FBI agents doing jump out patrols with the D.C.
Metro Police.
So they've already done a lot. There's nothing wrong with having federal law enforcement assist the locals and understand that there are 13 other city police departments in this country. Who are under federal consent decrees? Nobody gets excited about that, but just because Trump decides to follow the law, remember, the District of Columbia is very unique. He's following the law to take temporary control of the police department.
And even the police union president has said, yes, Mr. President, bring it on. We really need the help. There's no downside to this situation, except for maybe those protesters that are in front of the White House with their terrible Trump derangement syndrome. Jonathan.
You know, first of all, those people that in that Mike's report, those people are half crazy. I mean that is Bizarre, and it shows you how far out of the conscious loop. That many people are when it comes to understanding what's happening in these cities. You know, I've had, I have a company, we do protection and threat assessments all over the world. And I've had the unfortunate pleasure of being in Mexico several times over the past two years for extended periods of time.
And I'm here to tell you what's happening there is slowly happening here. And it's dangerous. The politicians are leftist liars. Mexico is no longer a machismo nation. It's now a bunch of leftists.
And there's crime that you can't even imagine. Assassinations, murders, all kinds of grotesque stuff happening all the time. But Todd, when you look at the cities here in this country, It's just as bad, it's just in small pockets, and so people don't think they don't even think that it's as bad as it is in South America and other places. But I think what President Trump is doing here, and I think Betsy will agree with this, is that. He has the opportunity to do what Giuliani did in New York, which is basically, I would like to see the broken glass scenario where they go in and they start looking for anything that these people are doing illegally.
And if they, if the judge, Judge Janineque, if she can push this stuff through, where they are charged for almost anything, and that way they know who they are, where they are, and they can start going after them and holding them for a lot longer for these bigger crimes. If we start with that, as well as pushing the big criminals out. Then I think you'll see long-term effects. But basically, I think President Trump is coming in, he's going to allow the police department to get back to doing their job and away from what's happening down in Mexico, for instance, and all these other cities, where it's politics that are absolutely devouring. Not even the criminals, they're not more criminals than there was.
There's worse politics, allowing criminals to do the things they do with no punishment. Betsy, Saturday night, it was the same story, different day. You've got these mobs of young thugs. They're mobbing people in the Navy yard. One of them shooting.
Apparently, they were using a stolen firearm. The President says they were actually picking fights with the police. Let's take a listen here. You saw that, the Navy Yard. I saw it this morning.
They saw That they fought back against.
So, see, they fight back. Until you knock the hell out of them, because it's the only language they understand. They love to spit in the face of the police as the police are standing up there. in uniform, they're standing. And they're screaming at him.
An inch away from their face, and then they start spitting in their face. And I said You tell them, you spit and we hit. and they can hit real hard. You know, Betsy, the challenge here is that we're talking about kids as young as 12, 13 years old. I'm wondering, should we be looking at the parents as well and going after them?
Well Absolutely. And I loved what President Trump said. You know, you spit, we hit. And Cash Patel said it best: let cops be cops. That's what we need to do.
And I'm so glad President Trump brought this up. But, you know, you're absolutely right. What do you do to a 12 or a 13-year-old?
Well, you got to think about this. These are probably street gang members. Their parents are probably in the gang. Their grandparents are probably in the gang. We've got multi-general street gang issues in this country.
We've got to get a handle on that. And that's what Janine Piero was talking about: that federally it's very difficult for her as a prosecutor to be able to touch these juvenile thugs. But the DC City Council has put ordinances in place where it's very difficult to punish these young criminals, even though they've committed a violent crime, even when they have a gun. And this is one of the most gun-controlled cities in the nation.
So whatever can be done, and what Jonathan is absolutely right, all they were talking about today was broken windows policing. That's absolutely what this is. Whether it's you spit in the face of a cop or you commit an armed robbery or anything in between, you're going to jail. And that's what needs to happen. And the judges need to recognize that too.
You know, Todd. Jonathan, 30 seconds, that's all I got. Yeah, go ahead. Sure. Once that occurs, we would then have an effective blueprint on how to do it in other cities.
And I would not be opposed to President Trump once this occurs and they get it cleaned up. That he could take this and go to other cities and do the same thing. Because what you said opening up, it's that dangerous to the point where there is lawlessness. There may be law and justice systems, but there is lawlessness in the streets. And that the Constitution does say that the government is supposed to ensure for us is a safe.
Safe nation and a prosperous nation that is safe from this type of lawlessness.
So, one of the things here that I appreciate about the Metropolitan Police Department in D.C. is in 2021, they. offered some ideas, some suggestions on what you should do to keep yourself from being carjacked. Again, in and the Democrats will tell you openly that's the safest city in America. Crime there just a perception problem in DC.
So here's what they're suggesting. Always still managing your rental business like a side hustle? Stop risking your cash flow. Over 800,000 landlords use TurboTenant to streamline their rental operations for free. From finding tenants you trust to collecting rent on time.
We've got you covered at Turbotenet.com. Keep your doors locked and windows rolled up. If it's hot and you don't have A C, roll them up at least part way. No matter how short the distance you're traveling or how safe the neighborhood is. Drive in the center lane to make it harder for potential carjackers to approach the car.
Avoid driving alone. Travel with someone whenever possible, especially at night. When you're coming to a stop, leave enough room to maneuver around the other cars, especially if you sense trouble and need to get away. You know what? I do all of these things in Memphis, Yeah, we just think about this.
It's like part of our routine. And you know what? I bet they do the same thing in Houston. And Seattle? And Chicago.
Los Angeles? I guarantee you, this is happening and nobody wants to talk about it because, again, the media, they've been providing cover for just how dangerous it's gotten in the United States of America. I'm just telling you. All right, got to take a quick break here: 901-260-5926. Our number again, 901-260-5926.
This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, this just happened moments ago at the White House press briefing. This is Benny Johnson. Asking Caroline Levitt a question about safety in DC. Take a listen.
As a DC resident of 15 years, I lived on Capitol Hill. I witnessed so many muggings and so much theft. I lost track. I was carjacked. I have murders on my ring camera and mass shootings.
I witnessed a woman on my block get held up at gunpoint for $20. And my house was set ablaze in an arson with my infant child inside. And so to any reporter that says and lies that DC is a safe place to live and work, let me just say this.
Okay. Thank you. Thank you for making this city safe, because a parent should have to go through what my family went through, having the fire department rip open their door to save their infant child. And so thank you for your work on securing this city. My question to you is this.
Nancy Pelosi has attacked the president for deploying the National Guard to the city, saying that it is to cover for his incompetence. Hillary Clinton has also attacked the president. For securing the city of Washington, D.C., I'd like to get your response to Nancy Pelosi and Hillary. Sure. Well, first of all, Benny, I'm so sorry that happened to you and your family.
There have been, unfortunately, far too many victims of crime in this city. And I know the majority of residents in the District of Columbia agree with you. In fact, a new poll from the Washington Post I was reading this morning was released in May of 2024.
So it's quite funny how many of you in the media agreed with what the president was saying yesterday. But now, once the president says it, many of you are disagreeing with him. But this poll released by the Washington Post found that 65% of district residents think crime is an extremely serious or a very serious problem. And this was up from 56% last year.
So the concern that you share with so many other residents in the District of Columbia is real. And that's why this president is taking action to address it. To get to the heart of your question, I think it's despicable that Democrats cannot agree that we need more law and order in a city that has been. Ravaged by violence, crime, murders, property theft. This should be a winning issue for all Americans.
I don't understand. It's just anything President Trump does, the Democrats want to disagree with. I think the president would love to work with Democrats on this issue to bring law and order to America's cities, but unfortunately they have failed. And that's why he's taken this historic action to federalize the National Guard. And as you're seeing from last night's numbers, we already have seen success.
We are removing violent offenders, we are arresting criminals, and we are removing drugs and firearms off of the streets of the city to make it safer for all of its residents. Yeah, good good for you, Caroline Lovett. I was shocked. That's Benny Johnson, and many of you follow him. I had no idea.
He said that he lives just a few blocks from the Capitol. And I'm just wondering, and I will just throw this question out there. If you're if you're a husband and you're married and you've got an infant you have infant children, there's no way I'd be living in that neighborhood. I'm reading from his Twitter feed here. He says there were open drug deals, arms deals constantly outside my house.
My family was threatened on a near daily basis. racist epitaphs were hurled at my wife and infant children. Rocks were thrown at us as we walked down the streets. We were constantly targeted for being white in a black neighborhood. No one cared.
I'm paraphrasing that. Judges and cops saw us as the problem. When that makes no sense, when DC defunded their police, the city turned into a deadly war zone. Every resident was terrorized. DC is a failed state.
Still managing your rental business like a side hustle? Stop risking your cash flow. Over 800,000 landlords use TurboTenet to streamline their rental operations for free. From finding tenants you trust to collecting rent on time. We've got you covered at Turbotenet.com.
DC home rule is a mistake, the worst. most entitled racists living off your tax dollars and desegrating our nation's capital. Turning the seat of Western civilization into a deadly welfare narco-state. Entire neighborhoods need to be cleared out and bulldozed. He goes on to say this can't happen soon enough.
Every American must support Trump. federalizing the city and martial law. as a point of American pride. Restore the seat of Western civilization, Well, is that the answer here? I mean, do we need to go in and declare martial law as Benny Johnson is?
is is alluding to here. But I'm telling you, if I had a young family, wife, kids, no way I'd be living anywhere near that hellhole. All right, 901-260-5926, our number, that's 901-2600. 260-5926. This is the Todd Starn Show.
You know, when Rudy Giuliani implemented the broken windows policing. In New York City, and this happened way back during the 1990s. there were massive drops in both violent crime and petty crime.
So, the question is: should we get back to that sort of policing? where we really do crack down on What's happening with the criminal element in our cities? Let's go to Dyersburg, Tennessee. Wayne listening to us on WTJS. Hi, Wayne.
What's on your mind today? Right. You talk about uh Whatever. Get on the cops. It needs to be printed on the side of cop cars.
You spit we hit. Evercott car. Oh, I like that. I mean, I like what President Trump said about that. You know, I'll take it a step further, Wayne.
Why don't we get that emblazoned on their uniforms? I I agree with you. And another thing. These juveniles need to be prosecuted. Spatting them on the wrist and turning them loose don't do no good.
They just laugh about it. They need to be prosecuted.
So, Wayne, let's just say you have a 13-year-old who's out there, a 12- or 13-year-old, and this is not the This is not conjecture. This is actually happening in a lot of cities where you have 12 and 13-year-olds carjacking people. in many cases shooting them or pistol whipping them. Do you believe that twelve-year-old should be charged as an adult? Have a bit of it.
Yes, yes, sir. You see, Oh, okay. I have a license to carry. And one of them tries to hijack me or something, I'm going to shoot him. Then I'm going to be in trouble for shooting a miner.
And that's not right.
Well, I don't think you would be, at least here in Tennessee. I think you're you're pretty safe, Wayne. But it's a valid concern. And again, if you're a law abiding gun owner and and again, you you're a law abiding gun owner, Wayne, I mean, you don't want to g you don't want to ever have to shoot anybody, I have to imagine, right? No sleep.
I like to shoot coyotes. I was I eat up all I chase my deer down and run my birds off, eat my birds up. Oh, yeah, you don't want b blasted coyotes yet. Yeah, I I don't blame you there. But again, it's, you know, this is, you know, they depict all of these law-abiding gun owners like you're bloodthirsty, you know, just out looking to shoot somebody, but you're not.
You just want to protect yourself and your family and your property. And unfortunately, many people around this nation live in cities where that is a real, clear, and present danger.
So I don't blame you one bit. Wayne, and I would say that if something like that were to happen here, I mean, the reality is you were defending yourself. And it's, I mean, nobody wants to do that, nobody wants to be in that situation. But if you're going to play stupid games, you're going to win stupid prizes. That's right.
And there's no sense in the past. Get no. Poochie lip because I shot their kid because they didn't make their kid mind. That's it. Wayne, appreciate the call, and thank you for listening.
Did he say Poochie leapt? Oh, is that pa oh, you heard you know, they're always young scholars, aren't they? Those pouty lips. I don't know what the other one is.
Well, it could be spoochie. But but Whenever the have you seen this though? They'll have like an 18, 17, 18-year-old thug, and they're out there and they're shooting people. And then the TV cameras show up and they don't show the picture of what the thug looks like, right? Uh, like a gangbanger, it's always the high school graduation picture or Well, he was going back to school.
He was getting ready to go back to school to get the GED. Never fails. Never fails. Always the same. It's the same story.
And I'm just telling you right now, this is how it plays.
So, what we have to do here, folks. It's we've got to really rethink this. And I'm curious because Judge Janine says the problem is she's not allowed to go after these kids. And we need to start treating these kids as adults.
So, if a 12, 13-year-old goes out there and commits a felony crime, should that 12- or 13-year-old be charged as an adult? I'm going to say yes, and here's why. We need to start teaching these kids that there are consequences to their action.
Now I remember Back when I was growing up in South Haven, Mississippi, And I was a decent kid, didn't get into any trouble. I was a member of the Cub Scouts. And I remember as a Cum Scout. You know what they did to us? Aside from having to pick up garbage every Saturday, I don't We we had to do a lot of that as Cub Scouts.
They took us on a field trip. to the county jail. And I'm telling you, they put the fear of God into every single one of us, little Cub Scouts, every single one of us. And the whole point of that was to show us: this is what's going to happen to you if you don't. If you don't follow the CubScow Code.
You're going to jail, pal. What we need to start doing and to hear me on this. Let's say you got a 12 or 13 year old and they commit a crime. You lock their butts up. Felonies.
All right, lock them up. Then you have a little field trip. And maybe this is maybe we're just going to have to start doing this until we get this worked out of our system culturally. And you have those kids. You take the kids from the local grade school down to the local jail, and you can say, All right, see that kid?
He's twelve years old. He carjacked somebody, and now he's going to spend the next 20 years in prison. Put the fear of God in these kids because they don't fear anybody. The kids aren't afraid of anybody. I'm telling you.
They're not even scared of the Popo. And we see it here. They're just not scared. Let's go to D in Gainesville, Georgia. Hi, D, what say you?
Hi, Todd. I am so honored. on the show. I'm gonna make a grief. I'm a retired public school teacher.
Dee, hold your thought for just a second. We have a super bad phone connection, and I really want to talk to you.
So let's maybe we can try to get Dee's phone line worked out there. And we'll try to get her back with us. But again, And T, give us a holler back. I I will say this. We also need to start charging the parents.
And I know that the kids are responsible for their own actions. But if you got a 12-year-old out there and they're carjacking somebody, that's on you, mom and dad. Or mom. That's on you. And you're going to have to start paying the price there.
We've got to start doing it, and it's going to be a lot of hard work, and it's going to be a lot of pain. And it's going to be a lot of acne because I know conservatives are just by nature, they're very compassionate people. But we're going to have to implement some tough love in this country. I really do think we're going to have to implement some tough love in this country. And if we don't, Well, we may not necessarily have a country left.
So I'm glad to see that President Trump is doing something here. And I'm glad that Judge Janine. is throwing down the hammer. And saying, we're going after these folks. But I want to explain to you what they're going up against.
Remember a couple of d was it a couple of weeks ago in Cincinnati? when the white people were brutally beaten in the streets, I tried to tell you guys that there is a shocking number of black activists. Who believe the true criminals Are the whites Who allowed themselves to be beaten up so that the black people could get in trouble? And many of you laughed and you mocked me, and you said, Todd, you don't know what you're talking about. You're about to hear community leaders yesterday in Cincinnati.
Calling for the victims to face criminal charges. Cut four. Six individuals were charged with aggravated assault, which is a felony. The white guy incited or urged six other people to commit a felony. The method by which this situation has been handled raises serious questions as to whether there has there's bias involved in the investigation.
It also brings into question the possibility of a lack of integrity. and whether there's something else to hide.
So there you go. In Cincinnati, the black community leaders want the white victims charged. That's what's going on. All right, I think we've got D back. All right, D, talk to us.
Hi, Todd. Sorry about that. Just in brief, I'm a retired recently retired teacher. And the problem that you're describing extends far beyond just law enforcement. It starts in our school system and in our communities.
We have become so obsessed We're putting a diploma into the hands of our kids, and we've forgotten the purpose of the diploma. The diploma was to certify that this person is sufficiently educated to be in the workforce. And when these kids assault teachers, and uh pick fights in school. Administrators are notorious for changing the write-ups so that they don't sound so violent. because they get marked as a bad school and that takes away their public funding.
they get labeled as a violent school.
So the kids are taught 24-7 that there are. no consequences for their actions. And this goes on in rural schools as well as big city schools. Dee, you know, I had to change my thinking about school teachers, and for the longest time, I felt like. not it with a broad brush, but I felt like school teachers were a big part of the problem until I realized that the school teachers are probably the most victimized people in in all of this.
We are. I I have been pinned against a wall. I got punched in the jaw by a sixth grader. I got a chair thrown at me. And all of the write ups were changed by administrators for fear that we would because if we lose funding, we lose teachers.
In their defense, the administrators are in a sticky situation too. If their school gets stained a violent school, they lose their job and we lose funding for teachers.
So it's it's a big, big problem. But we we've got to get back to the idea that the purpose of the education is for our children to become responsible employees. not just to put a piece of paper in their hand. Dee, that is a brilliant idea. The question is.
You know, where do we even begin to start fixing all of this? I think President Trump is heading in the right direction. I approve everything he's doing. It's a bigger job than he can handle by himself. And if I had the answers, I'd be writing books like you, Todd.
Thank you. Thank you, Dee. I think the first step is diagnosing the problem. I don't have the cure yet, but I think we have some really wonderful people trying very hard to fix a problem, a sore that's been festering for a long time. But you're absolutely right.
It's not the teachers. It's the system we've been forced to work in. D, we sure do appreciate you calling in and don't be a stranger and enjoy retirement. Um I want to play some audio here. This is from the interim superintendent of schools in Memphis, Tennessee.
This guy's a radical leftist. And you need to understand something. There are so many parents here that are demanding change, and many of them voted Democrat. And they realize that the school system has failed their children. Over 70% of the kids in Memphis can't read.
This is the interim superintendent. His name is Roderick Richmond, speaking from the pulpit of a church on Sunday. Take a listen. You all, we're at a desperate time. I'm sick of my inbox blowing up every day.
About Children. You just had some children come to this. And I haven't seen one child. in this district. who has said that this is not a good idea.
that they're not moving forward. And I think the actions of the interim superintendent on yesterday, in a church, being a person who was born and reared in the church of God in Christ, were irreprehensible. It's still going on.
Okay. Let me jump in here.
So that was try cut number six.
Okay, so anyway, well, my apologies. I'll tell you what this remote said. He said: anybody who opposes the school board, anybody who opposes him, they are evil. And he said that multiple times from a pulpit of a church in Memphis. And so.
Parents showed up. There was a big meeting yesterday. And there's one guy who showed up, and we're going to play the audio. This guy dropped some serious language, and we had to bleep a lot of it. But this shows you the frustration that so many parents have, not just.
In Memphis, but really across the country. Cut number five. My name is Anthony Ward, thirty-six fifty West Big Bend. I didn't sit back here for the last two hours hearing a lot of boar. Their schoolboys need to go.
They costing the city taxpayers money. When they put this other superintendent in, guess what? You all gonna still have to pay the. The other woman Because the simple fact that it is, they're not doing the job. They not doing their job.
Neither one of them. And I'm sick of looking at this on the news, coming up on the news. I am tired of it. If you all don't do something, I tell you what, don't let them let them do it and see what we're gonna do next year when it comes to you all running for office. I'm going to put up a billboard everywhere in this city.
Everywhere in this city is telling folks not to vote for you. I'm letting you know now, one and have came. 'Cause I'm tired of it. I'm proud of it. They look at her, they backdoor this woman.
They backdoor this woman. Lee Harris knew about it. Everybody knew about it. I'm sick of it. We go with, I guarantee you, if you don't do your job, y'all ass getting out of office.
All right, we'll leave it there. It gets a little hairy. But I hear the guy. And this. Tired of giving away all your rental profits to a property manager?

So many people look, it's happening across the nation. And people are sick of it. Let's go to Terry real quick in Statesville, North Carolina. Hi, Terry. What say you?
How are you doing today, Todd? All right, Terry. Let's get to it. Got about a minute. All right, I just had a couple of comments I was wanting to make.
about these kids that, uh, get out there and do these crimes and and uh they don't get no punishment for 'em. Uh First thing is They was raised without two things and needed. A Bible and a belt. And the next thing is The T V show used to come on and said, Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. And I think that if they're going to commit these crimes, They need to be held accountable just like me or you would.
Yes, sir. Terry, you're absolutely right about that. And I like how you think because if you're not raised by the belt and the Bible, well, you're going to end up out on the streets causing all sorts of mayhem, and nobody wants that. Terry, got a run. Thank you for that.
This is the Todd Stern Show. All right, remember, Congresswoman. Delia Ramirez, she's the Democrat out of Illinois, and she made headlines a few weeks ago when she announced that her allegiance was to Guatemala first and not the United States of America.
So now we know that Ramirez is actually an anchor baby, her parents in this country illegally, and she's also married to an illegal, one of these so-called dreamers. The DACA recipients? Anyway, she's giving a speech today and she's calling ICE, Immigration Customs Enforcement, a terrorist organization. Seems to me that That Miss Ramirez's parents need to be deported, along with the anchor baby they gave birth to, and they also need to rounding up the Congresswoman's DACA husband as well. At least that's my estimation.
So, again, this woman has yet to be censured by Speaker Mike Johnson. She is still a sitting member of Congress, a woman who has pledged her allegiance to a foreign country. Just let that sink in for a little while. All right, tonight, 5 o'clock Eastern, the Todd Stern Show, we have a jam-packed lineup. Hope you will join us on Newsmax 2.
