Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun totem, Bible-clanging, deplorable American. That's it! That's right. I love this American ride. Todd Starnes.

Oh, yeah. Oh, well, that is me. Hello, everybody. Todd Starns here. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen.

Happy to have you with us on this Tuesday. Just so you're aware, the president has not invoked the Insurrection Act just yet, but you never know. Folks, it's really fascinating as we're watching these protests erupt all over the nation. And look, there is so much.

So much misinformation in the mainstream media.

So much. Fake beard. Ladies and gentlemen, that we must address. We have a lot of stuff to talk about today. As a matter of fact, we've got Senator Tommy Tubberville coming on in just a little while.

Congressman Van Orden is going to be joining us. We've got so much happening today, but right now, I've got to be able to set the record straight with a lot of this fake news reporting that is out there. I want you to understand what started all of this because the Democrats are blaming Donald Trump for all of it. They're saying that Donald Trump, the reason why people are rioting in Los Angeles, is because Trump sent ICE agents in to restore law and order. Does that make any sense to you at all?

So I want to explain how this all started. And it was really a matter of people misunderstanding what ICE was up to. It turns out there were federal agents Friday, boots on the ground in Los Angeles around that Home Depot where all the illegal agents. Aliens were gathered with their Tools. And the agents were there for a completely different reason.

There was no ICE raid. There were no illegals taken into custody. There was none of that. But when the illegals saw the federal SUVs, the black SUVs, they took off out of there like bats out of you-know-where. And then all you know what broke loose.

So it had nothing to do. There were no scheduled ICE raids, they weren't doing anything of the sort. Not at all. But again, since then, we've had just it's a war zone right now in Los Angeles. And in all honesty, well, last night it was horrible.

You had a lot of businesses that were ransacked and looted. You had the Nike stores. And I'm not surprised they're going after the Nike stores because you got to have a good sneaker. If you're going to run away from the ICE agents and the LAPD, you got to have a good pair of sneakers.

So I'm not surprised they went after the shoes. But you need to understand something. This is not some sort of organic. Protest. You didn't have a bunch of folks at the church, at Guadalupe, First Baptist Church, say, Oh, we got to go downtown and we got to go shoot commercial grade fireworks at the police on horseback.

There was none of that. This is all very well. organized. And we know that because of the professionalism about all of this. This is all very well coordinated.

Video surfaced last night of a pickup truck. And in the back of this pickup truck were thousands of dollars. Worth of equipment that was being distributed to the protesters.

Now, among the things that we saw, and this was all videoed and photographed, so that there's no There's nothing fake about this, but we know that they were being provided industrial style. They call them bionic uh face coverings. to protect them from the tear gaps and the whatnot.

So, this is all very well coordinated, and I have no doubt that the FBI is going to track down who's ultimately responsible for all this. We will find out. who's paying the bills here? Because these protests are being organized all over America. Last night in Dallas, in Austin.

And I'm telling you right now, they don't play around. They don't mess around. Law enforcement doesn't mess around in Texas. There are protests being planned in every city that broadcasts the Todd Stearns radio program, no matter how big or small. There are protests that are being planned.

Yeah. This is a nationwide effort to destabilize the country. That's what's going on here. And the American people, I believe, are beginning to wake up and understand what this is really all about.

Now You've got Folks like Gavin Newscomb. And Newscomb's out there, and he's this is this is this is Newscomb in a nutshell. All right.

So by the way, Is that guy doing something? It's weird, right? His mannerisms, he's always jerking around. There's something, something not right about that guy. I would just rant.

If I were Trump, if I were Trump, I would be demanding that the governor undergo a drug test. I'm just saying. Here's a cup, governor. Go to your business. But anyway, this is this is Newsome out there, and he just wants attention.

He's craving attention. He believes that he can be the savior of the political party known as the Democrats. or the demon rats. And he believes that he's the guy. I'm telling you, his His presidential aspirations are going up in smoke right now.

And I don't even think he gets it. But he was just pitching a fit. Oh, yeah, Tom Homan, you come at me. You come and come on and get me. Throw me in jail.

Arrest me. Come on. You know where I'm at. I'm right here. Arrest me.

Arrest me right now.

So, anyway, that's what he was saying all day yesterday. We're like, where's that coming from? What?

So anyway, Trump was asked about it yesterday, and they said, you know, Gavin Newsom thinks that you guys are going to arrest him. Should we arrest Gavin Newsome? And you know Trump. You know how Trump is.

Well, sounds like a good idea to me. And then all of a sudden, then Gavin Newsome. I can't believe it. He wants to arrest me. He's gonna arrest me.

Don't arrest me. I have a wife and children. And probably children I don't even know I have. Yeah. He wants to arrest me It's like, dude, get a hold of yourself.

This is This is what they've got for leadership right now in California.

So so look, um We've got to stay focused, and I hate to say this, but you, well, actually, I don't hate to say it. I'm going to enjoy saying this. You can't trust the media at all, none of them. And let me throw something else at you. This whole AI mess, and we need to, we're going to do a whole show on AI.

Mm-hmm. But AI is making it very Dangerous and difficult. To do our jobs as journalists, because there is so much manipulation going on, and it's coming from, believe it or not, the conservative side as much as it is the liberal side. Yeah. And so now you don't even know.

If the video we're looking at is actually real or not. Coming from California.

So it's you've got to be very, very careful and make sure that you're getting information. I can promise you this. And we work very hard on this program to provide you with. all of the accurate information. And if we screw up, we're going to let you know.

But we work very hard, so ToddSterns.com is a pretty good resource for you.

Now I told you yesterday, and I got some hate mail about this. I told you yesterday that I actually think all of this is really this is there's a nefarious purpose to all of this, but I don't think it is what you think it is. I think this is coming from old Mexico. That's right, Mexico. As the as the Gringoes call it.

But old Mexico, they want their territory back. And I know we fought a war, and I know that even though we won that war, we paid him cash for the land. But they won it all back. And I believe that's one of the reasons why Mexico has been so eager to have the Guatemalans as we. No, I'm just telling no, the G's are silent, Dylan.

I just want you I'm I've done some research here. You know, we want to make sure we're grammatically and phonetically correct on this program.

Okay. Just go get some chips and guacamole. The cheese are silent.

So anyway, they want All of these people invading America so that they can cause mayhem. And they can eventually take over. 34%. Hear me on this now, folks. 34%.

Of the entire population. of Los Angeles. is foreign born. That is a massive number of people. Los Angeles is our second largest city in America.

And it's not even American.

So anyway. People thought Oh, there goes Starnes, that conspiracy theorist again Well, no, not really. Last night on CNN They had a Univision anchor. Her name is Maria Elena Salinas. Is she the singer?

No, that was Selena. Anyway, Maria Elena Salinas on CNN, and she's defending the rioting. She's literally things are burning and exploding in the background. People are weeping and And she's defending all of this. And I want you to hear last night on CNN.

How she described what's really going on. I'm from LA. I was born in LA. That's where my roots are. That's where I started my career.

It is almost 50% Hispanic. Remember that California was part of Mexico. All of the southwest is Mexico.

So the roots are really deep in that region. And what they're saying is, no, not in our community. Because when they're coming in, even though there's second, third, fourth, fifth generation Latinos that live there, Mexican-Americans that live there, some of them might be their family members. The people that they're going after, it's personal for them because they're going after their cousin and their cousin and their uncle and their parents. And how does that happen?

How does that happen?

So there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. It's very simple. Mexico wants California back, and they want the Southwest. That's what I think ultimately this is all about. They have literally resettled.

I mean, that's why when you look at the mobs of people, do you think it's a coincidence they're all waving Mexican flags? That is not a mob. That is an invading army. That's what that is. Trump gets this.

He understands what's happening here. He understands the country's been invaded. And the concern that a lot of people have, which is why they're playing hardball right now in Southern California, the concern is. that this country would not be able to handle it if every single illegal all of a sudden takes up arms against the American people. I mean, that's ultimately where all of this is going.

We're not there quite yet, but that's where it's heading, and it could get very ugly this weekend. Very ugly. Yeah. So look, here's the latest. Trump now doubling the numbers of National Guard troops.

We're looking at 4,000 troops right now in Los Angeles. Also, 700, 700 Marines. And the Marines ought to be able to take care of business, lickety-splint.

Now, let me say a couple of things. I've been watching. How the How the law enforcement have been doing. They've been kicking butt. And let me tell you something: they've been firing these non-lethal rounds, and they've been doing headshots.

You I mean it's unbelievable. And those things leave mar that's gonna leave a mark. Gonna leave a mark.

Now, a lot of people are saying, well, why did Trump have to send the National Guard in?

Well, I want to explain that to you. The reality is that right now The LAPD is not allowed to assist in any immigration issues. As a matter of fact, when ICE came under attack, ready for this one, folks, it took two hours, two hours for the LAPD to respond. That could have been a very deadly and dangerous situation.

Now, the. LAPD chief says that they're not allowed to do anything because of the California Values Act.

So not so the LAPD, the county sheriff, none of them are allowed to do anything to help federal agents.

So they're just being left out there. Donald Trump saw what happened in Minnesota. Donald Trump saw what happened when George Floyd lost his life. And the governor refused to call out the National Guard and they nearly burned down the city of Minneapolis. Trump saw what was happening in Los Angeles and said, hey, look, we're not going through this again.

So let me explain what happened. The rioting had already started on Friday. The National Guard wasn't sent in until, what, Sunday morning?

So To say that Trump is responsible, all Trump is doing is protecting the federal agents. That's all he's doing. That's what the National Guard troops are doing. They're protecting Federal agents and Federal buildings. That's it.

To date, Federal buildings have not been burned to the ground in Los Angeles. What about the Marines, huh? What's the Marines? What about the Marines, Todd? What are they gonna do, Todd?

Are they gonna shoot their fellow citizens, Todd? I've been getting a lot of hate mail over the past 24 hours. No, the Marines are not going to do that. The Marines are going to protect federal agents.

Now, What about puzzycomitatis, Todd? Th what about puzzy comatatis? Yes, posse comitana simply states that the Marines or the military cannot physically arrest American citizens. That's what Pase Comitanus is. The Marines are there to protect our federal agents.

That's what they're there for. And the reason why is because Gavin Newsom did not call out the National Guard in the first place. And you know why? Because Gavin Newsome. Wanted Los Angeles to burn just like Minneapolis did so they could blame Donald Trump.

And Trump's not having it. Got to take a break, opening up the phone lines 901-260-5926. Our telephone number, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. As you know, my friend Mike Lindell has a passion to help everyone get the best sleep of your life.

That number again, 1-800-839-8506, promo code STARNS. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Starns radio show. You know who I really feel bad for? I feel bad for.

These small business owners in Los Angeles, man, they've just been devastated, including in the jewelry and the diamond district there in Los Angeles. Cut number 16, please. There were reports, Sheila, of up to 100 looters at a time at a jewelry business. Crazy. Very crazy, very sad, very terrible.

And your dad works really hard. I'm sure you work really hard too. This is a small family-owned business, and there's no insurance. No. No.

How is this going to affect your family? Pretty bad. Really bad. People are stupid. People are stupid.

What can you do? People are still, what can you do? No, I get it. You know what you can do is arm yourself. This is when you need the rooftop Koreans.

I'm just telling you. That was one neighborhood that survived during the 92 riots. Oh, CNN, these people, it's first of all, we do not want anybody to get hurt, right? I mean, these reporters are down there, and yeah, I get it, they're far leftist. They're earning a paycheck, but they don't deserve to be attacked.

Well, this mob is now turning on CNN, and you know why? A lot of them are wearing the Islamic headgarb. And I don't think those people are from old Mexico. I think those people are from Gaza. No, Dylan, the G is not silent on E otherwise it would be YAZA.

That makes no sense. That's fine. I'm just telling you. So, when we come back, I'm going to play some audio. They're targeting the reporters.

Which again is why all you reporters, you need to be packing heat out there, or at least a taser, or maybe some bear spray. 901-260-5926, ladies and gentlemen, that's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Starge Show. Americans love using their credit cards, the most secure and hassle-free way to pay. But DC politicians want to change that with the Durbin-Marshall Credit Card Bill.

This bill lets corporate megastores pick how your credit card is processed, allowing them to use untested payment networks that jeopardize your data security and rewards. Corporate megastores will make more money, and you pay the price. Tell Congress to guard your card because Americans lose when politicians choose. Learn more at guardyourcard.com. What's that?

Mm-hmm. All right.

Dylan, I'm excited about Thursday. This is, it's going to be a lot of fun. And of course you're family, so you've been to all of my big book launch parties. Except for the one at the Trump International Hotel. Yeah, why didn't you invite me to that?

Yeah, that was a lot of fun, actually. We had a great time. They're always a fun time. You know what was funny about that one? It was really upscale.

And I realized, like, as soon as we started, Dylan, I'm like. I'm like a cracker barrel guy at Bar-a-Lago. I'm like, I'm not sure I've got this. That's my, you know, that's my jam. Nah, with Trump, there's room for everybody.

Well, and Cracker Barrel is especially included. This is true.

So the big launch party for Star Spangled Blessings is Thursday night. And my understanding is that the tickets are going great, and it's a free ticket. We just seem to know how many to expect, so we can have a lot of books for you to buy, folks. But also. The former chef at Hog and Hominy, Dylan, which is one of your favorite places.

Love. I don't know how that guy is unbelievable. He's going to be doing the catering for our shindig, and we're going to be eating high on the hog. And what's really cool about the food and everything is there'll be little placards at each food station, and they're going to have people with passing hors d'oeuvres. And there's a symbolic patriotic reason for every dish that's going to be served Thursday night.

That's some intentionality right there. I'm impressed. I mean, it's really going to be a lot of fun. And we want you to come out. We're expecting about 100, 200 people.

It is going to be a fun night. And here's what we're going to do. We are going to, let's say, caller number two. You're going to win a pair of VIP tickets to the event. Again, it's Thursday, 5.30 in Germantown, Tennessee.

It's going to be a lot of fun. You are more than welcome to come. We've opened it up for the community to come. But we do have a special VIP thing we're going to be doing. And so if you.

Want those tickets, give us a call and Ms. Cancy will get your information. 901-260-5926. Our number. That's 901-260-5926.

I want to play some audio real quick before we go to the phone lines. This is the LAPD Chief. Last night explaining why police could not help ICE officers. Cut 13. Is there any effort being made for ICE to share information about what their next move is?

Yeah, that's something that we did talk about and there's no resolution to that. And the problem is that we are guided and bound by the California Values Act, which means that we can't participate in any way in civil immigration enforcement.

So the federal partners have been reticent to provide information to us. before something happens because of that reason. Part of that is they want to be respectful of the rules that we have to live by, but it also on a normal situation, not that big a deal. But in a situation like we saw here in the past couple of days, it turns out to be a very big deal.

So we're going to continue to work with the partners that I mentioned and many others as we go forward to try and be able to make things as safe for everybody as we can.

So and clearly that did not work.

So, which is why Trump sent in the National Guard. All right, let's go to Jim in Salem, Oregon, listening to us on KYKN. Hey, Jim, what's on your mind today? Hi, John. Thanks for taking the call.

When the George Floyd riots were happening in Oregon, it was pathetic. Oh, uh So the lack of response and all of that. But at any rate, I would say associated with a vital colleague down in Eugene and The Antifa people and the Black Lives Matter people were so bold, they actually began to announce where they were going to attack next and what they were going to do. And they announced that they were going to come and take a 50-foot cross. down from a Bible college as a protest.

And I don't know what I thought I was going to do. I'm an old retired pastor, but I went down there just to be there. And I went in and it was like something out of Beirut. They had those staggered things to protect you from getting bombs dri driven into driveways and There were people walking around with weapons, protecting private security, protecting the campus. And I parked about a mile away.

I didn't want them to trash my car and burn it. And I hiked up uh there and Apparently, there were about 100 people who had the same idea I did, just went down there and showed up and. The World Shift Team from the College came out on a A pedestri or a an amphitheater. It just began to worship the Lord. And they pray.

that these protesters that announced they were coming would be stopped. And they never showed up. We found out later on the State Patrol arrested two bus phones full of them on the I-5. right around the time that these people were praying.

So I want to encourage your listeners and encourage you To keep praying for the Lord's solution to this too, the cooler heads will prevail. Because there are a lot of innocent people being damaged and It's just not right, but we have an option.

Well, and prayer is an important thing. And Jim, you're right about that. And I thank you for the call today. And prayer is important. The reality here is that California.

is um a place where Law and order currently do not happen. And that's an unfortunate thing. But I think one of the reasons that California is having such a difficult time is that they have removed God. from the public marketplace. You know what's interesting?

Gavin Newsom would not call out the National Guard to protect Los Angeles, but you know what he did do? During the China virus, he dispatched the National Guard to target churches. and other areas that were not masking up. That's what Kevin Newsome did. Very bad guy.

Gavin Newsome is. Oh, here's a CNN reporter. Boots on the ground in Los Angeles, and the bad guys are vandalizing news vans. Take a listen.

Well just a few moments ago, Caitlin, we saw a number of officers rushing to the site of a local news van which had been vandalized. They smashed the front windshield. I'm going to show you. It was right down here, right down the street where we are now. We're just a couple blocks away from where we were when we initially began talking to from the federal center.

You can see some more demonstrators now starting to surround that news van. It's a Telemundo news van. The officers trying to get more of those demonstrators to get away from that van after they vandalized it.

Well, not even the news, guys. And you know that's freaking them out. What was it, an Australian? One of the Australian reportertes, she was out there and she got nailed by one of the bullets. And she's out there via the rubber bullets and uh shall we have a So everybody's all upset.

Fly, mate. Hey, come on, mate. What?

What are you doing? And it's, you know, here's the deal: if you're a reporter, don't stand in the line of fire, you idiots. How difficult is that? She's going to need a lot of makeup to cover up that. It's terrible.

So one guy, one person. This is terrible. One protester got shot in the forehead with one of these rubber. I'm telling you, they got snipers out there. They're not messing around.

And the guy's forehead, it looks like a giant tomato. Let's go to Fort Myers, Florida. Barry is listening to us. All right, Barry, what's on your mind? You're on the air.

Uh yeah. Yeah, the whole point of government is to protect us, number one, above every other thing they do. And in California, people aren't being protected. Businesses aren't being protected. The police were told to stand down.

They're not doing anything. This is the time for the President. who is supposed to be making sure His job is also to protect the people and enforce the laws. To make sure the people are protected. That's above everything else.

And if they're going to put in stupid, stupid uh pro uh programs and and and of the you know uh amendments to their their their laws. That's uh protect the dangerous people that's not going to go over very well with the American population. And I'd say about sixty percent, seventy percent of Americans want them to enforce the law and stop this nonsense. This is insurrection. This is not rallying.

This is dangerous people that are doing dangerous things to innocent people, and it's just not right. And it's not right that the government doesn't do it. We are paying the government to do this for us. They work for us, and we've got to keep telling them that. And if they don't do it, we should be able to get rid of them.

Yeah, Barry, there's a lot of truth to what you just said, and I'm with you. And you're right. And we're not talking about just some random organic grassroots protest here. We're talking about organized chaos. These are organized armies, and they're literally dropping off supplies, pallets of bricks and concrete that they can use as weapons against law enforcement.

We've got to find out who's behind all of this, and those people have to be punished. Absolutely. And the leaders have to be punished as well, because they're as part of they're just part of the insurrection as well, when they're stopping the cops from doing their job, who I know want to do their job. There's no doubt in my mind. The police want to protect the people, but they're being held back.

And the people that are holding them back have to be accountable for that. And they will suffer the consequences. The trouble is nobody seems to be suffering any consequences for these stupid, dumb, Unbelievably vicious acts that are going on. But Barry, but Barry, Maxine Waters out there. On T-Maxine saying, well, nobody got shot.

What's the big deal? Nobody got shot.

Well, if her kid was shot or she was shot, she wouldn't be saying that, would she? That's true. I mean or if her house or if her mansion was burning down or they were spray painting graffiti on her mansion. That's right. That's exactly right.

Oh, you know, I mean, that you you remember what happened in Mulliff's Vineyard? They kicked these people out so fast it wasn't even funny. They don't want to deal with the reality of this, but they don't care about us. We're the serfs. We're nothing to them.

They use and use us. What we do is supply money to them. That's it. All right.

Disgusting. Barry, great call. Thank you for listening and give us a holler back there in Fort Myers, Florida. Yeah, Martha's Vineyard. They The uh The rich and famous, they were okay with the illegals picking squash in the garden, but you couldn't play squash over there in the country club.

That was a big no-no. Did you have the illegals over there? Jeez Lou. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. I want to play an interview we did with our good friend Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer last night on Newsmax.

Here's some of that. Tony, good to have you with us. All right, so a lot of people are saying, wait a second, I didn't think Marines could actually. Could actually do anything on American soil. What are these Marines going to be doing?

Well, under the Insurrection Act, they can actually conduct a series of what we would call civil military operations to do three things. First, to secure terrain. Marines, Todd, do a number of things very well. Securing terrain is one of them. Essentially, they would set up secure perimeters, they would set up insecure facilities.

Many of the locations we're talking about are actually federal facilities, they have full rights. to do anything they have to on federal facilities. Secondly, Within regard to that, Their job would be to augment other federal resources already. They cannot engage in arrests. Pasica Matatis prohibits the military from actually engaging in arrests of civilian individuals.

With that said, We do work we DOD work with civil authorities regarding things like counter drug. U. S. Navy Greyhall ships. Are out doing interceptions regarding drug activities.

The Coast Guard takes over and does the actual arrest on the high sea. I would envision something similar here where you have a combination. Of military force being used to secure facilities or areas outside of federal control and having legal, having authority such as the Coast Guard, DHS, and others who have lawful arrest authorities to actually do the arrest. And third, and probably most importantly, if called upon, they do have the authority to engage in what I would say would call Essentially uh Military operations that regard to use of force. Um They are armed.

They have weapons for a reason. And so, should there be an armed insurrection, we have not gone there yet, thank goodness. I pray we don't. they do have the force to defend individuals, groups and citizens From those individuals or groups.

So that would be the most severe form of response. But Todd, that's why they're there. As a worst-case resource, should some level of armed resistance prop up and prohibit the federal government from performing its lawful activities relating to the removal of illegal aliens in Los Angeles? Antonio, let's be clear, because the media coverage on this has been atrocious, just absolutely atrocious, ignorant, I don't know, intentional or not. But the reality here is you've got the LAPD and the Sheriff's Department.

They are not allowed to offer any assistance to any federal agents, which is why the National Guard was called in to protect those people. They're not out there in the streets. Correct. Yeah. So let's be like you said, the law, the California law is actually in conflict with the federal law.

In California, the California law says sanctuary cities cannot. It's not like you have an option. California law says that local law enforcement cannot cooperate with federal law enforcement agencies such as ICE and DHS.

So, literally, even if local authorities wanted to cooperate, and many of them do, Todd, just saying. They can't buy California law. This sets up the conflict.

So anytime you see Governor Newsom or uh Mayor Bass say, oh, the the the the you know, President Trump created this crisis. No. The California law and the establishment of sanctuary cities which permit. These illegals, especially criminals within the illegals. to be protected is what has created the havoc we now see.

Tony, real quick, before we let you go, I want to play some audio. This is a member of the Los Angeles City Council. Actually, advocating for the violence that we've been watching over the past few days. Let's watch. Just because our sanctuary city policy stops us from collaborating with ICE, it does not stop ICE from entering our city.

And if they're escalating their tactics, then so are we. But they don't.

So to everyone here today and for everyone not here today, I am urging you to get ready. Tony, how do you handle that?

So federal law supersedes all state and local law. What she's saying, what she's proposing, is essentially a form of sedition. bordering on full out rebellion. I'm just going to be blunt. I have no other way to put it, but that language is both unconstructive.

Bordering on, again, encouraging individuals to act with impunity regarding disregard. or federal law. If people act on that, they will find themselves arrested. or worse.

So again, Todd, circling back to the beginning of our conversation. Her comments and people like her encouraging violence as a form of political speech. is exactly why the Marines have been deployed to Los Angeles. Dilla, my computer just exploded. I don't understand what is going on here. It's working really hard. Do we have the is it the geek patrol, the geek squad? Do they still exist over at Best Buy?

Remember those guys? Oh, wow. Yeah. That's a throwback. That's old school.

I don't even know if they do they do they do modern computers? I don't know. I'm working on it, so. I've been sending poor Dylan, I've been sending you emails for like the past 45 minutes, and you haven't gotten any of the emails because my computer stopped working. Yeah, the panic and confusion on my face.

And it's a Mac. And I get so much grief in the building because I'm a Mac guy. That's okay. Everything I have is Mac. Max best.

Yeah, I've got every apple I, you know, I live right around the corner from the apple store, oh, which, by the way, got looted. In San Francisco. I guess you need the protesters, they got to have the new iPhones. What are you going to do?

So, anyway, we're going to get as soon as my computer gets back up. I'm going to share some audio with you. President Trump, just a little while ago, was asked about the Insurrection Act, and he's considering it. He is considering invoking the Insurrection Act in California if things continue to get worse over there. Let's take a listen.

If there's an insurrection, I would certainly invoke it. We'll see. But I can tell you last night was terrible. The night before that was terrible. We have, as you've seen, it was on most of your networks, people with big heavy hammers pounding the concrete and pounding curbs, pounding it, breaking up all, and handing these big chunks of concrete to people.

And they were taking that concrete, going up on bridges and dropping it into the roof of a car. They were throwing it at our police. They were throwing it at our soldiers that are there. And we got it stopped and we have them In custody right now. Look, if we didn't get involved, Right now, Los Angeles would be burning just like it was burning a number of months ago with all the houses that were lost.

Los Angeles right now would be on fire, and we have it in great shape. I'm not playing around. How will you determine whether or not there is an insurrection?

Well, you'll take a look at what's happening. I mean, I could tell you there were certain areas of that of Los Angeles that you could have called it an insurrection. It was terrible. But these are paid insurrectionists. These are paid troublemakers.

They get money. And when you take a look at what they do, where they show up and every second, what's he doing? He's pounding the curbs. This one guy's pounding the curb, breaking the curb, and handing big pieces of granite. In some cases, it's granite.

granite and concrete to other people And they're running out with it, and then we watch the other people, and they try and throw it into the face of the soldiers, throw it into the face of. The police and they hurt some people very badly. They go up on bridges, they drop it down on the cars as the cars are moving. They're not breaking the curve because they're doing a demolition service. They're breaking it to hand out to people as a weapon.

That's a bad that's bad stuff. I've never seen that before. No, it's terrible. And again, this is just under consideration. And you know how the headlines are: Trump to declare martial law.

Trump becomes dictator of America. No, he's not doing that. He's look, let me explain what the Insurrection Act will do.

So, first of all, this will not be a nationwide. Version of the Insurrection Act, unless Unless these mobs, these organized paid professional mobs, start doing things in other cities. at the level they're doing it in Los Angeles. The problem in Los Angeles is that you have leadership that refuses to act or they don't know how or they're just paralyzed. That they're completely clueless.

And I'm talking about Karen Bass and also Gavin Newscomb.

So, if the Insurrection Act is invoked, it allows the President to do a couple of things. He can deploy the U.S. military, federalize the National Guard, which, by the way, he's already done, to suppress the rebellion, enforce federal law, and also address domestic violence when local authorities are not able to do so. This is what they call the rare exception to the Posse Comitatus Act.

Now that Pasi Comitanos. prohibits the military from engaging in civilian law enforcement.

So that's what the president would do if, in fact, he invoked the Insurrection Act. But it does give the President. more powers. The last time Let's see.

Well, it was implemented in 92 during the Los Angeles riots. That was when George H.W. Bush invoked it. Then the Little Rock, where you had the desegregation crisis. I believe that was Eisenhower who did that.

And then you had Lincoln during the Civil War.

So again, this has been used very sparingly, and Trump just wants to have everything at his disposal.

So there you go. We will see how this plays out. But right now, they've got to get local law enforcement, they've got to get control over the violence, and they have not done that.

So, ladies and gentlemen, What do you think Trump should be doing that he's not doing in Los Angeles? Is the President making the right calls here? 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. When I was speaking at the National Association of Christian Lawmakers, it was sponsored by our friends over at Patriot Mobile.

And someone asked, just randomly, how many of you folks in the audience actually have? Have Patriot Mobile. cell phone service and like half the room raised their hands. They have all sorts of plans from $25 a month all the way to their ultimate plan of $75 a month, very comparable to what you would pay with the other guys. 972 Patriot is the telephone number.

That's 972 Patriot. Or go to patriotmobile.com/slash Todd. Use my first name, and they will give you free activation.

Well, I want to go back. to the nineteen sixties. There were riots at Berkeley. University of California in Berkeley. Ronald Reagan was governor.

And Ronald Reagan was not messing around. And it turns out that back in the 1960s, they were having the same problem we were having today. where you had professors that were out there rabble rousing. You had the professors that were getting the kids out there into the streets, causing all sorts of damage and destruction and violence. And Ronald Reagan actually met with the professors, and here's a little snippet of how that went down.

Those people told you for days in advance that if the university sought to go ahead with that construction, they were going to physically destroy the university.

Now, why did you negotiate many times? Negotiate? What is to negotiate? What is the university is a public institution? That's right.

It's an important institution. But the university. Its own community and for the community of Berkeley that live around it. All of it began the first time, some of you who know better and are old enough to know better. Let young people think that they have the right.

to choose the laws they would obey as long as they were doing it in the name of social protest. Reagan Torumanuan. And he went on to tell the professors: shame on you. You guys are the grown-ups here. What are you people doing?

Why are you doing this? And the reason is very clear. Even back in the 1960s, which was in the that was really the infancy of the radical leftist movement in this country, They knew that they could cause mayhem. And that's exactly what the Democrats are doing right now in Los Angeles. Oh, by the way, Hakeem Jeffries, very upset.

Cut number eight, please. As opposed to allowing the Trump administration. to try to distract the American people. by unleashing mass agents, if they were proud of what they are doing, why are they masked? This isn't the 1930s.

Why are they masked? And so They're core principles. That are pretty simple. Secure the border. decisively.

We supported legislation that was negotiated. It was the toughest. Border security bill to emerge. from Congress in modern American history and Donald Trump killed it. These people have no credibility on the issues that they claim to stand for, it's all a distraction.

So the reason why The ICE agents had Is because the left have been they've been doxing the agents. They've been tracking down, they've been taking their photographs, and they've been finding out who these people are, where they live, and then they've been targeting their families. And this is why They're they're wearing th the masks. Mm-hmm. Now, you've got these people out there.

I mean, I'm telling you, it is a dangerous time to be an ICE agent, and those of you who are people of faith need to be praying for the safety of the ICE agents, these federal law enforcement officers, and their families. Here is Princeton University professor Eddie Glaud attacking all of you Trump supporters as racist. And I want you to listen to how he describes ICE agents.

Now that folk have their red meat, now that they're going to see the spectacle of quote-unquote LA on fire, which it's not, right? What will happen? Will he activate the ugliness that got him in office in the first place? Will folk now declare why they love him? Because we know that he's always good on the immigration question.

And then the second thing, this reminds me historically of the, it's not a clear analogy, but when the nation, when these political factions divided the nation between slaveholders and slave catchers. When they made everybody with the fugitive slave law, all of us had to, if someone escaped, all of us had to return that particular piece of property to these folk. With ice running around LA, forcing people to make choices, will they protect their friends, their neighbors, their family members? Will they take, will they confront these folk and they're terrorized? They're literally trying to portray ice agents as slave catchers, ladies and gentlemen.

These people are nuts. Just flat out nuts. But this is what we're dealing with. By the way, the Los Angeles Unified School District, they have now instructed the LAPD to directly interfere with ICE.

So the LA Unified School District, they've got their own police force, and they're telling them, you are not going to help out ICE or anybody else. And by the way, this is where you're going to have these inflection points, and this is one of them. Cut number one, please.

So I wanted to be reassuring to our community. Every single graduation site is a protected site. I have directed our own police force. to redouble their efforts. And establish perimeters of safety around graduation sites to intervene and interfere.

with any federal agency. Who may want to take action during these joyous times that we call graduation? Not on our watch. All right, fine. Then throw them all in jail.

I mean, it really is that simple. And ladies and gentlemen, this is the concern. I know we got to take a break here, but I want to conclude with this one thought here. This should have been done a long time ago. We should have been playing hardball with the invaders.

A long time ago. But we haven't. But we are now, and it's gonna be ugly, no doubt about it. But we've got to stay the course here and understand. That for every illegal that is deported, that means more resources are made available to deserving American citizens.

It really is that simple. And can you imagine what would happen? Let's just say. 34% of well, actually, they're saying 10% of Los Angeles illegal immigration, illegal immigrants, 10%. Illegals, about a million or so illegals living in Los Angeles.

Can you imagine what would happen and how much better Los Angeles would be if those folks were deported? Come on. Got to take a break. 901-260-5926. We'll be right back.

All right, welcome back. Let's go to the phone lines. Dave in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. A lot of great heroes over in that neck of the woods. Hey, Dave, what's going on?

Well, Todd, we keep hearing about we would stop if this and we can't do that. And we actually have the technology to get in there and identify and surgically remove the leaders of these groups And my big question is, why aren't we doing that? Um You know the The three letter agencies have the technology to get in there. They've got the intel sources. They've got, I mean, Yeah.

It's always the certain cities that That Fall to these rioters, and you know, they've been practicing this for years out in California because. You know, stealing $999 is a misdemeanor. Stealing $1,000 is now a crime.

So they've been doing the flash mobs and everything. Are you telling me that with all these years of this stuff going on, with all the cameras and everything in action, that they haven't created a profile on the ringleaders And then with I mean, you can't pick your nose in LA without being on camera somewhere. Yeah. I know that these intel gathering agencies have the ability to identify the leaders. You know, it's it's ridiculous that this is going on and on and on.

Yeah, no, I'm with you there, Dave, and you're right. And they're doing a great job, though. I will give Bongino and Patel credit here on this. They've been all over the attackers. I know that there was the guy that was throwing the rocks at ICE agents shattered one of the ICE agents' wrists.

They have now identified that person, and if he's not in custody now, he should be soon.

So, yeah, I'm with you. There's no reason why they should not be able to track down and figure out who's actually behind all of these protests. And I have no doubt they're going to get to the bottom of it. Dave, got to run, my friend. Thank you for that.

Breaking news out of Memphis. This is terrible. So all of our T V stations, they're out there saying, there's no crime problem. It's just a perception problem. There's no crime problem.

A local TV reporter for WREG was carjacked this morning. We'll tell you about that coming up. Jeez, we'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody. And a little bit of breaking news for our Memphis audience.

So, one of the TV reporters was just, this happened, all happened in broad daylight. In downtown Memphis, near the studios of WREG. That is the CBS affiliate here in Memphis. And they actually have great studios right there on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. Pretty remarkable.

Anyway, the reporter was getting gas, and some guy walks up with a gun. And says, give me your news car.

So I want You know Probably not the brightest bulb, right? If you're talking about a carjacker, probably not the brightest guy.

So, because now everybody's looking for a WREG news van that is somehow, you know, screaming across the city right now. But there you have it. And the great irony here is that a lot of the TV stations in town have been on this kick that there's really no crime, it's just a perception problem.

So, there you have it. I'm glad the reporter's okay, though. I mean, he was carjacked at gunpoint, and that is a scary thing. All right, 901-260-5926. You know, I just thought about something, Dullon.

I probably shouldn't have shared that story because our next guest is coming to town in a couple of days. He's going to turn right back around. Josh Jones, our great political strategist, has just canceled his flight to Memphis.

Well, what? I I I'll still come down. I still think it's worth it. But yeah, maybe not the best uh segue.

So when Dalton uh Dylan, you'll appreciate the this story. Um uh guys, when Dalton came to town, he was like, Take me to the bad parts of Memphis. And I'm like, Are you nuts? I'm not driving in which is pretty much everywhere, but Holy cow. I'm sure it'd be great.

All right, Josh Jones, coming to Memphis for the big book launch. And I know a lot of our listeners and Newsmax viewers are going to be excited to meet you. And this is your first journey to the land of Elvis. And believe it or not, Justin Timberlake. Oh, really?

Okay. I didn't know that part. But yeah, no. First time coming down to Memphis. I'm looking forward to it.

And I guess Glorilla, too. Glorilla. Is Glorilla from here? Yeah, Dylan's our music expert. She got the key recently.

I'll defer to Dylan on that one. All right.

So you don't have Glorilla in your playlist, Josh. I can't say I just. All right.

She got the key. Wait, she got the key to the city?

Something like that. Not even I've got the key to the city. I did get to walk the ducks at the Peabody, though. Oh, can you rap? I can well.

I have a story about that. I was banned from rapping by Fox News. I tried to rap on air once. By the way, you need to that reminded me of something. Dylan, search for Brett Baer rapping over the weekend.

And we're going to play some of that because it went viral over the weekend. Josh, how's it going in Washington? It's good. It's good. Do you see Congress, we have the big, beautiful bill over in the Senate right now.

So that's been kind of the talk of the town as of late. But everything's good, but I'm looking forward to getting out for a couple of days and coming down this year. I'll just echo the wood.

Well, I don't blame you one bit. You know, it's interesting. We talk about media coverage and how things are perceived in the media. And I am just so disgusted with the way the media has been covering these riots in Los Angeles. And I don't know if a lot of it is just sheer ignorance.

They don't understand what the president can and cannot do, or they're just using this intentionally to try and smear the Republicans. No, no, it is an absolute disgrace of how this is being covered. Because, I mean, the American people are not fools. We can see these images ourselves that are coming out of LA. This is a riot, this is civil unrest.

And if the governor is not going to step up and do his job and protect his citizens, then it's the responsibility of the president to intervene and do exactly that. And the media, you would think, that this is some kind of power grab authoritarian dictatorship situation, but that's not what's happening here at all. This is a response about public safety and nothing more.

Well, that's it. And again, under the law, the President has every single right to do every single thing he's done here. And if Gavin Newsom would have stepped in You know, in the first place, and had taken care of business, we wouldn't be talking about this. But again, President Trump is just concerned that we don't have another Minneapolis on our hands. Exactly.

And this is one of the U.S.'s major cities. Like this should be a LA or DC, New York, whatever it may be, should be a secure place for American citizens, but also people visiting that are here legally, whether that's tourists or people here on visas, whatever the case may be.

So this is about public safety, not only just for domestic, for Americans, but also people that are visiting our country. Josh Jones, a great Republican strategist. You know, Josh, another big story, it hasn't gotten a lot of play because of the riots, but Terry Moran over at ABC News, who is their senior national correspondent, sat down with President Trump, did an Oval Office interview, and published this horrible screed on X attacking Stephen Miller as a world-class hater, attacking President Trump. It was so bad that Moran had to delete the tweet, and then ABC News put him on suspension as they investigate. You know, I do appreciate his honesty, though.

At least we know where he really stands when it comes to Donald Trump and the administration. Yeah, you're absolutely correct. I mean, I guess that is the broad thought of this here. It's like so many of these journalists. turn into political activists.

And whether they're cognitive of that or not is beyond the point, but it affects their work. As a journalist, you should be going in, and sure, you're going to have opinions. Everybody has opinions, but your job as a journalist is to put those aside and just get to the facts and ask the questions that the American people want to hear. But this is another example of a journalist turned activist and get on ABC for honestly correcting that. It was so bad, they had to do it.

You know, they didn't want to do it, but they had to do it. Because they're losing lawsuits. Trump is raking in the cash from all these guys. CBS, Sixty Minutes, ABC News, the gals on The View. Look, Trump could end up bankrupting all of these all of these T V networks.

Definitely possible. I mean, hopefully I mean, I know we've been saying this for years, but hopefully the media learns their lesson and cleans up their act a little bit. And maybe after a troll of losses like this, they'll do exactly that. But I don't have a lot of faith, but you never know. Josh, another interesting story for you.

This has been a big deal in the state of Tennessee. The runaway pet zebra named Ed has now been recaptured. Ed has been on the loose for more than a week in the volunteer state, galloping all over the place. And they finally were able to capture Ed near Nashville in Rutherford County, Tennessee. They found him near a subdivision.

Could you imagine going out in your bathrobe to pick up the newspaper on the front driveway, and you look up, and there's a zebra galloping by? No, I actually saw this story. I was going to bring it up whenever I came down later this week. I saw this story on Twitter, some videos of it.

Somewhere I say, like, Eventually captured him and they had a helicopter airlift a zebra out back to him getting to the zoo or wherever he got out of. But it's a nice story that's, you know, honestly, it blew up pretty well. It's a nice story that. That's not political, honestly. But no, that's hilarious.

I'm just shocked that Ed is still with us, that he wasn't stuffed and mounted in somebody's trailer. It is Tennessee, and I'll just say we have a lot of hunters here.

So my hat is off. Thank you, everyone, for not sending Ed to glory. By the way, and apparently, I had no idea, but the Associated Press reporting that in Alabama, they actually had a runaway kangaroo.

So they had to shut down part of an interstate to capture the runaway kangaroo.

So there you go. Are you sure you want to come down to a visit here, Josh Jones? Absolutely. No, I'm looking forward to it. All right.

Excited to meet everybody and check it out. Dylan, we Josh has never been to Memphis. We're trying to figure out do we need to take him down to Beale Street? Where do you you're the music aficionado here? Yeah, you got to go to Bill Street.

And if you want the best barbecue fries that you'll ever have, in my opinion, you got to go to Blue City Cafe. We'll take you there. I'm down. You guys are the experts. I'm all in for the local recommendation.

So is that the place we went to? We did a big party, a big fancy party, and then everybody said, let's go to this dive joint. Yeah, I believe so. They stay open till like 2 a.m.

So, I mean, if you want to really. Have a good time. You gotta go during that time. All right, I mean, the music's good too, by the way. Every street you'll hear.

Something different going on live music-wise.

So you have a lot to look forward to. All right, Josh Jones, everybody on our Patriot mobile newsmaker line. Josh, Safe Travels. We'll see you Thursday. Thanks, Todd.

See you soon. All right.

Good guy there. Apparently, Ed had memes. Did you know this? Ed the zebra was like the subject of memes. There was one showing the zebra dining at a waffle house.

And another had him visiting other cities or pain handling on this side of the road. Zebra gotta eat, man. A zebra gotta eat. What are you gonna do? All right.

Here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna take a break. We're also gonna take your calls as well. Fascinating story from the New York Post, though. And I'm curious to hear from the beautiful ladies of the Ton Stern's audience.

They're calling it a modern-day Leave It to Be for family, Maria West. She is promoting the idea of being a traditional wife. What did they call it? Is it a trad wife? Is that what they're calling it?

Trad wives. She is from Seattle and she says she loves nothing more than being a stay-at-home mom and wife while her real estate husband goes out to work all day. And she's photographed in the kitchen and she's wearing a dress. with a um she kind of looks like June Cleaver. She's got the dress and the apron, and she's wearing gloves.

Most of the days, the thirty three year old can be found at home fulfilling her homemaking duties, taking care of her family and tending to their home. And she does it all while wearing a full face of makeup, sometimes a sundress and a smile on her face. She told the New York Post, I don't want to look like one of the boys. I'm sure the husband appreciates that. Even in the chaos of motherhood, I want to feel soft, beautiful, and grounded.

She said it's not vain of her to want to look and feel good while she's tending to the needs of her family. She said I want to reflect love and care for my home, my husband, and my children, and that starts with how I carry myself.

Sometimes it's a full face of makeup and a dress, other days it's a brushed ponytail and a matching lounge set. But I always try. She went on to say, Culture tells women to fear getting left behind, to hustle, to choose independence over intimacy. My rebellion is building something with my husband and showing my children that motherhood is powerful, not passive. This is a fascinating story.

Yeah. This mob is not the only one embracing. the sourdough making dinner on the table by six PM lifestyle Gretchen Adler is a California mom and influencer. She lives a similar life. and takes her Susie homemaker ways a step further.

She's gone viral on social media for her time in the kitchen making unprocessed versions of classic junk food like homemade Cheez-Its and homemade Oreos. By the way, did you see the video of the guy trying to set the Oreo cookie on fire and it would not burn? I can't eat Oreos anymore. I'm good.

So I'm curious about this. Ms. Adler says, I think a lot of women are looking for this lifestyle. They want to take back their homes. They want to get out of the fast-paced lifestyle of the job environment, the boss babe mentality, and they just want to be home.

I don't think it needs to have a negative connotation at all. And despite these women receiving criticism from others, they seem rather unfazed by it. You know, I'm curious here, I love this story. And again, it's these young ladies. 30 years old, who are saying, you know what?

I believe there's another way. And I guarantee you, those kids that are getting the homemade Oreos are going to grow up being very healthy, will not be fat, and they'll live very nice lives.

So I'm curious if there are any ladies in the Todd Stern Show audience that have taken this path. That you've decided, you know what, I want to be or I was a traditional wife. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

Uh Look, I see nothing wrong with stay-at-home moms. My mom was for the longest time a stay-at-home mom when I hit high school, she decided to go out and get a job, worked at a little dress shop. And she just she had a blast. But it was nice coming home and and knowing your mom was there and uh she had a snack for you. And it was just um you know, it was a different um it was a different feel.

And I know there are a lot of families where you can't necessarily do that, right, for whatever reasons of the economy. Both parents have to work to make ends meet. But it just seems to me if you are able to make it work, if you are able to. Have Mom stay at home. I think the kids are better off for that.

Now, some of you may disagree, but I think there's something to having a mom at home. Knowing that there's somebody there, somebody's watching over the kids, making sure they do their homework. and making sure they stay out of trouble. I think there's something to that. Especially in today's society where you've got parents that are just Simply not.

raising their kids at all. And we see that a lot in Memphis. And as much as we talk about crime in the Memphis, Tennessee area, because this is where I live. You know, we've got to address What's happening in the home? And we've got to break some, somebody has to be able to go in and break that cycle of violence.

And a lot of it has to do with the fact that moms are many, I would be willing to tell you that an overwhelming number of the criminal thugs come from broken homes or homes where there's only one parent. If that. And maybe instead of the pastors in America, instead of preaching about racism all the time, maybe they need to start talking about raising your kids up to be humans. being productive members of society, just throwing that out there. 901-260-5926, our telephone number.

He's going to be playing in the congressional baseball game tomorrow. I heard Josh Jones, among other people, will be in attendance at that game. Also, Tommy Tubervellt, senator from Alabama. He's going to be joining us a little bit later on as well. I want to play some.

Some audio here. We had the sheriff, the former sheriff of Los Angeles County, join my Newsmac show last night, Alex Villanueva. You might remember him. He was on the radio show a couple of weeks back announcing that he was leaving the Democrat Party. 40 years, this man was a Democrat, now a Republican.

Probably going to be running for some sort of a public office as well, he should. Even if he's a conservative Democrat or a moderate Republican, doesn't matter. It can't be any worse than what they've got right now leading in California. Anyway, here is Sheriff Villanueva explaining what's going on on the law enforcement side there in Los Angeles. Sheriff, good to have you with us.

Look, I don't know. The police chief there in Los Angeles County seems like a good guy, but I have to tell you, I was really disturbed by what I heard at that press conference last night. His officers were outmanned and they are overwhelmed. What in the world is going on right now in Los Angeles?

Well, you have a paralyzed law enforcement leadership, both Chief McDonald and Sheriff Robert Luna. They're acquiescing to the whims of the political winds that are blowing through. Gavin Newsome, the Board of Supervisors, Mayor Karen Bass, pretty much telling them not to get involved in any way, shape or form. But In so doing, they refuse to come to the aid. of federal law enforcement officers who were being under attack.

and that is unforgivable. The deputies, the officers on the ground want to take care of business and rescue them, and they were delayed in their response. And as a result of that, is this all this chaos that you're seeing unfolding right now?

Well, they're saying again all of this chaos that we've been watching unfold is peaceful. They keep calling it peaceful protests. Sheriff, I don't see anything peaceful about setting vehicles on fire or attacking law enforcement officers. Yeah, you're right. I'd hate to think what violence is in their terminology, but you're looking at this.

I mean, look at that CHP cruisers on the 101 freeway. They were being pelted by bricks and just destroyed. The Waymo taxis being burned to the ground. And then people physically getting in front of the caravans of ice buses and In brands. And that is obstructing federal agents.

And those are crimes. And when that happens, Local law enforcement has to come to their aid. Doesn't mean they're doing their job of enforcing immigration law. No, that's the price, they can do that. But they do have to come to their aid.

And by failing to do so, you basically gave the invite to Trump to come in with a federalized National Guard.

So, look, I get it, this whole rhetoric here, and Newsom's out there saying, Oh, come and arrest me, Tom Holman. Come and get me if you're mad enough. Look, if the governor did something illegal, okay, great. You know, arrest the guy. I'm just wondering why Gavin Newsom did not dispatch the National Guard in the first place to stand alongside the LAPD.

Well It actually fell on Sheriff Robert Luna to do that because Luna is a mutual aid coordinator for the region that includes L.A. and Orange County. He's the one who's supposed to decide to get the assistance of local police departments, other surrounding counties, and do that mutual aid request through the California Office of Emergency Services. He failed to do it. And when I did it in twenty twenty, I asked for the National Guard because I knew we had eleven riots going on at the very same time all over the county, and that was more resources required than we had available.

So I called up the National Guard. They came in and they assisted us. It worked the way it's supposed to be. But it came locally from the sheriff. In this case, Sheriff Luna, well, that's why his nickname is Bunker Bob.

He just abdicated total responsibility to handle this appropriately at the local level.

Well, bad call there. Real quick before I let you go, Sheriff, you've had a chance, I'm sure, to talk to a lot of sources on the ground. President Trump says we're dealing with paid insurrectionists here. Who are these people? What can you tell us about the people that are causing mayhem?

Well, we've seen this before. You have professional agitators from all over the country. As soon as they have a hint that something is going down, they jump on those greyhound buses, they jump on a plane, and they're here within a day to start sowing division and pushing the boundaries.

So you have. Peaceful protesters on the sidewalk where there's signs, and they just jump in in the fray, and all of a sudden they get involved in this mass violent demonstration, as you're seeing. And we've seen this again and again with Antifa. We in twenty twenty, we intercepted a one guy from Minnesota with a with a backpack with seventy thousand in cash that he was using to pay agitators in cash.

So this is nothing new. We've seen this before. All right, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. A little bit of the conversation we had with the former sheriff of Los Angeles County, Alex Villanueva, on Newsmax last night. All right, we've got to take a quick break here.

But again, caller number two, you will win a pair of VIP tickets to our big book launch celebration, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. Mm-hmm. This headline caught my attention.

From our good friends over at Answers in Genesis, that's Ken Hams. You know, the Ark encounter. They have the giant Ark replica. If you haven't been, it is worth the trip. Two things I would recommend you doing.

Dylan, I know you're just a you just got married. a little while ago, but I would recommend going doing a road trip to Branson, You got to go to a sight and sound theater, and you got to go to the Ark Encounter. It's pretty awesome. Anyway, answers in Genesis. Eight in ten generation Zers would consider getting hitched to an AI.

Reading from answers in Genesis, some headlines just make you sigh, like this one. A majority of Gen Z would marry an AI. Even just ten years ago, we would never have thought such a headline possible. But, yes, according to a recent survey, eighty percent. eighty percent of today's twenty somethings would consider getting hits to artificial intelligence, and slightly more believe they could form a deep emotional bond with one of these chatbots.

How does this even work? This makes no sense at all.

Now, at first glance, it seems silly, or maybe a sad reaction to the loneliness, anxiety, and depression that many young people feel these days. But according to answers in Genesis, it is a rejection of God's design. God's design for marriage, one man and one woman for life. Not one computer. I mean, what is this?

Like a robot? Like one of Elon's robots? You're getting hitched?

Okay. To a robot? Is that what they're saying? I just don't, I don't get this at all. I mean, is Generation Z so consumed?

with computers and all this other kind of stuff. That they don't want to have relationships with Real human beings? Is that what's going on here? According to the survey. Joy AI It suggests a potential shift 80%.

Eighty per cent of Generation Z said they would consider getting hitched to an AI. They say it represents a potential shift in how people view relationships and companionship. With AI potentially, playing a large role in the future. While some view this as a positive development, others express concern about the potential impact on human relationships and the ethical implications of AI human partnerships. Here's my question.

What happens? If your AI partner decides to divorce you, what happens if AI is like, yeah, I can't handle this? This is all very strange. Anyway, very curious to hear your thoughts on this. What is going on here, ladies and gentlemen?

You know, years ago, there was a guy, and I warned people about this, back when. Back when the Supreme Court redefined what God had already defined, that would be marriage. Or my widge. When the Supreme Court did that, I told people, I wrote a column and I was castigated by every gay rights activist group in America.

Well, that Steins is just a homophobe. He's a great big fat homophobe. And why were they calling me a homophob? Because I said, okay, if you go down this path, if you decide to redefine marriage, and if mankind decides they have the right to redefine marriage, guess what's going to happen? It's going to be a free-for-all.

And that means it and I wrote it all out. Wrote a column, and I said, Well, you could end up having three or four people getting hitched together. That's just ludicrous. You homophobe, you bigot Well, ladies and gentlemen, do you realize that in some parts of the country they're doing something called throppel relationships now where three people are getting married? Then there was a guy not too long after that, I believe it was in Boston, and he wanted to get married to his laptop computer.

He was infatuated with this laptop. That didn't work out because apparently the laptop got a virus on its hard drive. That's unfortunate.

So All that to say, I'm not terribly surprised here, but I am wondering what does it say? What does it actually say about society? that we're raising a generation of kids. that would rather have a relationship with a robot Than with an actual human being. And you wonder: have we actually gone too far now?

With with computers and with technology. They interviewed they surveyed 2,000 people here. A staggering 75% of Gen Zers said they think AI partners had the potential to fully replace human companionship. The ChatBot app describes itself as a sex positive space for users to indulge in romance, practice dating and explore their fantasies. I don't know about that.

It found that Google searches for feelings for AI rose 120% compared to last year. And the phrase fell in love with AI skyrocketed 132%. Experts say Ai can also fill a void for stressed out, lonely Gen Zers. Quote, It can feel like a having a caring companion or a digital best friend who's always around to chat, reflect, or listen. That's according to James Bronstein, a licensed Clinical psychologist.

I'm just finding a hard this is in the New York Post. I'm still having a hard time believing it, but Gen Z, apparently, according to Bronstein, Gen Z has grown up with technology as a constant in their lives, so it makes sense that they'd be more open to new ways of connecting. Would you date R2D2 or C3PO? I mean, Dylan, I mean, are people out there? I mean, you're a Gen Zero.

Are people out there? Dating technology? That statistic actually threw me for a loop because I don't even, I don't know if I even believe that. That's a lot of people that would consider dating a robot. Is that an iPhone in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?

Well, actually, it's my date.

Well, if you think about it, if the date goes wrong, you could just hit the reset button. Or turn it off, yeah. Turn it off. Yeah. You got a chatty robot?

Just reach over and Oh baby, let me get that for you. Click. Until it doesn't let you turn it off, and then we have a real problem. I mean, what do you do on date night though? You go down to, you know, want to have tacos.

I mean, you're sitting there eating. What is a robot going to do? Staring. Admiring. That's weird.

I wonder if it has like the dead eyes. You know, that's the problem with the whole like, you know, the they do with all the new technology, even with the cartoons, it's the eyes. They can't get the human eyes. Yeah, it's a little creepy. I don't see what this is going to get to.

Hopefully, not. I mean, they made a movie about this. I mean, Joaquin Phoenix, her. That's it. Yeah.

Didn't go well. No, they never go well. Terminator. All of the Terminator movies. Have we not learned anything?

Nobody took notes. Could you imagine bringing home that to mom? Yeah, He's been working out. He's a lot. What are the Mormons going to do?

Multiple robots? I don't know. Is that a thing? No, I don't think it is. Have you seen The Mormon?

You know, someone told me that I need to watch this. What is it? Mormon Housewives Gone Wild or something. What is that? Have you heard this?

I don't know. Yeah, I've heard it. Yeah, they're a little crazy. Real Mormon housewives or something. I hear it's pretty insane.

I don't want to know. All I know about Mormonism, I learned from Donnie and Marie. A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. All right, gotta take a break. 901-260-5926.

This robot story is creeping me out. We'll be right, Pack. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Happy to have you with us today.

901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Well, I want to go right away to our Patriot mobile newsmaker line. Great to have with us an American Patriot. And the guy that's going to be the next governor of Alabama, Senator Tommy Tubberville.

Senator, good to have you with us. Hey, Todd, how are you? Good to be on with you. 250th birthday of the Army. What a great week this is, right?

This is it's going to be a tremendous week, and it's going to be a great week of celebration. And by the way, Senator, congratulations on your decision. I think Alabama is going to be in great hands.

Well, I appreciate it. It was a long hard talk, and I could have stayed up here as senator, but You know, I looked at where I could help the most, and as I told President Trump, I think he's going to have everything going so well in the next two weeks, two years that. I can go back and Take the power he's given back to the state of Alabama and all the states and use it to the best of our ability. It's uh I I enjoy being up here as a senator, but I I think my My use of being a governor will be a lot more like being a football coach of building and putting things together. And, Senator, you and I both know we're southerners, I'm in Tennessee, and they tried to get me to move back north of the Mason-Dixon line.

I'm like, I'm good, I'm good, I gotta be among my people. Oh, yeah, it's awful great to be home, and uh, you know. You know what I'm talking about. It's a different world. Look what's going on.

You know, in California and all these different places, my God. You know, I feel bad for people that are actually true Americans that live in.

some of these blue states that want just that want to live their life and And be away from all this nonsense, but they can't escape these Democrats, and it's just tough. I want to bring to your attention, I don't know if you knew this, but Governor Gavin Newscomb has been attacking you, Senator, talking about how Alabama has three times the homicide rate of California, murder rate ranked third in the entire country, and he's saying stick to football, bro. Yeah, he he he uses that funny math that they teach out in California. Uh they have more people that That they find dead from murders on the streets in California in one month, and we have in a year. In Alabama.

It's just it's it's sad when a guy j he can't focus on really doing what's right and Being a leader and taking responsibility. Of course, I wouldn't take responsibility either if I'd. Been the leader he's been for the last time over many years in California, but it is a disaster. What a beautiful state. They used to be.

And again, a lot of it is run by Republicans, but they just can't win over the big cities of San Francisco and LA. and they get these goop balls that are That are elected as their leaders, and they can't escape. It's kind of like escape from Alcatraz. They can't get away from it. I think the thing that gets me, Senator, is when you look at what they haven't done.

I mean, Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, Gavin Newscomb, the governor of California. They had an opportunity to step in and send in the National Guard, but they refused to do that, even though the LAPD. actually announced to the nation they were overwhelmed and they were being overrun. Oh, yeah. Well, this is right up their game plan.

This is what they want. They want total chaos to where they can maintain control. Karen Bass is a one hundred percent bona fide communist. She spent a lot of her life down in Cuba And learning from from the uh the communist group down there and And of course, she was hooked up with Obama's and all the Democrats. I mean, she is.

She is true blue. wants to turn this country into communism and socialism. And And uh You know, they got their little niche out there in California. They've got controls, and they're not going to give it up.

Well, not only is there chaos on the streets, I think there's chaos in the culture as well. And this fight over Title IX, you have been right in the thick of it. By the way, some breaking news. We understand that Riley Gaines has now gotten an apology, that huge dust up with Simone Biles.

So Simone is now apologizing for all the things she said about Riley. But, Senator, when you look at what's happening in California, even with the refusal to comply with the No Boys and Girls Sports, I mean, how do you respond to that?

Well, this bios nonsense where she just came out and attacked Riley Games about you know, you just wasn't tough enough to take a loss or whatever she said, something like that, just way out of hand. And it's just once a Democrat, you can't get away from your Um You know, your heritage, you just want to stay with the Democrats, progressive Democrats, but At the end of the day, it's total nonsense. It's kind of like this, these. uh peaceful protests that they're having. they they can't get away from oh that there's there's actually people getting hurt and property destroyed.

The same thing with men and boys and women sports. It's a disaster. Started in California. It's picking up speed all over the country. After watching that young man the other day pitching a girls' softball game.

You know, he had to be proud of himself, you know, of him being so much bigger, stronger, and faster. I don't understand what they get out of this, to be honest with you, and I think they're wanting to be. look at at heroes, but that End of the day Good wins out over evil, and that's exactly what this is.

Well, you're right about that. You're six feet tall. That kid's six feet tall on the pitcher's mound. And there's, I mean, he was pitching shutouts all over the place. And at some point, you do have to wonder when are moms and dads just going to stand up and say, that's it, we're done here.

And I know, Senator, you've been at the forefront of this effort. Earlier this year, you reintroduced the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. And this is personal to you. I know you just, you're a new grandpa, and you've got a little granddaughter. Yeah, Rosie Grace is not going to dress in the same dressing room as men.

That's not going to happen. She's not going to participate against men in sports, and she's going to be a big athlete coming up. That's my first granddaughter. But at the end of the day, it's just a sad situation. I, as a coach, know how hard these.

Athletes work. Even when the lights aren't on, they're running, they're lifting weights, they're doing agilities, they're doing things to prepare themselves for competition. And then they get to a point where Where they're playing for second, third, or fourth. They have no chance of winning over a biological man or a boy. It's just absurd.

It's wrong, and again, as you said a while ago, I've had three bills on the floor since I've been here in five years. Uh, vote against women, uh, men and women's sports, and not one Democrat has voted with me, not one. And you can't tell me that their daughters and granddaughters. Uh are fired up about this. They deserve all they get, I'll tell you.

But we finally got the majority, and we're going to hopefully get this change. President Trump has stepped in. And uh You know, the whole country is better off. It's Democrats that. The Democrats are even benefiting from President Trump.

They don't realize it, but in the long run, It's going to help them, their families and all people involved because he's doing what's right for all Americans, not just a few. I think that it's a fair point. And again, the President, I think, is coming at a lot of this from his position as a grandfather as well, wanting to save the country for future generations of his family. And he sees what we're all dealing with here. Focusing on Alabama for just a moment, Senator, what do you want to see happen?

And what do you imagine your role as governor of Alabama would be as we move into the well into the 21st century?

Well, as I thought with President Trump. you know he says you know coach we're gonna i'm gonna try to turn as much of the power and the in the in the taxes tax funds back to the state as I possibly can. And so That you know, this you know, it'll be the next election cycle. I've still got 16 months here. Looking forward to continuing work for Alabama and President Trump.

get his agenda through. But there's a lot of work to be done. I mean, you you look at everything from Men and women's sports all the way to worrying about a nuclear bomb in Iran. I mean, I mean, I can't believe That President Trump has got the energy to do all this, but he's taking it on from every side. just taking it on the headstrong, not taking anything off of them.

You know, he shouldn't have to be worried about riots in LA. And that should be handled by the state and the governor and the. And the police out there, but he's having to worry about taking care of the people that actually love this country and love their state. True Americans that live in California, other than the radicals that want to take it over and run it into the ground.

So now we're going to do as much as we possibly can in all areas, infrastructure. manufacturing of growth in this country is going to be so good of manufacturing. There's not a weak go spot I d here in the office in DC, I don't have manufacturing comp where there's A different country, or whether in country that wants to move to Alabama because of. The deregulations that we've had of The workforce, the workforce development we're creating, all the things that go along with manufacturing. That's how we're going to get out of this debt.

I hear all my buddies. Up here saying this big, beautiful bill, we're spending too much. We still might be spending a little bit too much, but we have to get it passed. New tax bill done. The growth in this country is going to be how we pay down this thirty-seven trade in debt.

You can't cut enough money to cut this debt down. It's not going to happen.

So let's get this thing done in the next few weeks. give it back to President Trump. Let's get the tax cuts done. And get on with life and get to building this country and growing it, like President Trump says, we can, and I know we can, to help it. I like to hear this.

If I have I have one request. I've got to travel. I do a lot of traveling on I-22 between Memphis and Atlanta. If you could somehow get a if you could get a Buckeys, like you know, just beyond the Mississippi state line, we could use a Buckeys there on the desolate stretch of I-22. Oh man, I say what you the problem is All Buckies, every time I get get to one, we have two in Alabama.

When you get there. The it's back up all the way to the interstate off the next. I mean, these places are so popular, but their brisket sandwich is awesome and. And we're very proud to have Buckeys in our state, and they're growing everywhere. I met the owner not too long ago, and he changed his name to Beaver.

The owner of Bucky, so it's pretty interesting to be around that guy and what he's done over the years of building that franchise.

Well, it's exciting. It's exciting to see the growth in Alabama, and I'm excited for what you know for your leadership in the great state. Senator, we're going to have to leave it there. We've got to take a break, but always good hearing from you, my friend. All right.

All right, God bless. Thank you. All right, good man right there, Senator Tommy Tubberville. I didn't realize he was a Bucky's guy, but it's true. That brisket sandwich is pretty darn good.

By the way, Dylan, did you know that you can, I'm not a big sauce guy, you know, being look, I'm dry rub, right? That's what we do here in Memphis. You can get it without the sauce. They'll actually give you the sliced brisket without the sauce there. They do everything over there.

It's amazing. That's awesome. And they're very happy about it. They're very happy to, you know, whatever you need them to do, they're happy to do it. It's getting paid a million dollars an hour.

As soon as I saw Cassie, when I came back Monday morning, I stopped and I'm like. I forgot to bring back something. Oh, no. I felt bad. But we do have a Bucky's.

We actually have the Beaver in the control room here at the Todd Starns radio show. We should be sponsored at this point because it's everywhere you look, it's the Beaver. I told a story about stopping at Bucky's because it was a long trip to Liberty University.

So as soon as I pause, I said, I saw a sign in the distance. It was God's gas. That's Bucky's. God's gas. Amen.

Amen. Verily, verily. All right, got to take a break here. They have two Buckies in Alabama? Get out of here Whereas one just opened in Pensacola, Florida.

And there was a line out the door. People wouldn't get it. Anyway, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show.

Should be too bad, shoot that. I'm worried about you. Shoot me too bad. I'm shooting the bag. To the butts, I want to get you.

To be the butts, I come to the house. All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Man, it's gonna be, you know, I should have asked the senator. I'm curious what that's going to be like campaigning.

You know, he was the head coach of Auburn for the longest time, and I'm wondering how the Alabama vote's going to go, right? The Crimson Tide vote.

So we'll get him back on again. But we really appreciate Senator Thubberville and the great work he's done, especially to protect young ladies and sports. And it's a shocking thing. We're going to have on the show later this week, we're going to be talking to a mom and her daughter. And her daughter plays high school sports.

And there's a young man who plays on whatever team. Um that her daughter is on. And the girl is so uncomfortable. that she has to change in her car.

So she has to go out to the student parking lot and literally change in her car because she refuses to use the the the restroom facilities with this young man. That's just unex it's just unacceptable.

So look, the Democrats are going bonkers crazy. I'm going to play some audio from a guy named William Tong. As in tongs. Like if you're roasting weenies and you use a tong, he is the Attorney General of Connecticut, William Tong, and he's enraged at President Trump. Enraged.

Take a listen.

Cut three. Hands off! Hands off Social Security! He adopts special education!

Okay. Hands off, Benny Cain! I have sued him three times just this week. We have sued! We have stopped him!

Check! Check! Check! Check! Have you lost the will to fight?

Are you in this fight with me every day? Let's go! Sweet Lord. You know, I worry about those people stroking out or bursting a blood vessel or something. That is not healthy.

That is not healthy. Oh, here's a lady on the TikTok. Calling out the hypocrisy of the libs, cut number five. Bro, I am trying my hardest. to understand Why The ICE protesters Some of them are going around and waving their country flag.

But yet they won't go home. You're burning up American flags and waving your country's flags, but yet you're in America. Protesting against Ice. I don't understand it. Go back home.

Deport them all no excuses no more. Seriously, and um Governor Gavin Newscomb He needs to be arrested. I don't understand it, I really don't. For all you liberals, Democrats, whatever you want to call yourself, if you do not like America, deport yourself or allow ICE to deport you. It's simple.

These people are hypocrites too because Obama deported Way more illegal immigrants than Trump. Where was the outreach? Again, where was the outreach? Yeah, it's a great question, ma'am, and good for you. You know what I find fascinating here.

is that minorities In America, they get it, they understand what's going on here. And this is bad news for the Democrats because most of them voted for Democrats, and these people voted for Donald Trump because they understood that they were being replaced in the Democrat Party pecking order. Illegals go right to the top of the line. That's what's going on here. And by the way, And we'll play some of this audio tomorrow.

And we've got a lot, we have a lot of ground to cover, but these riots. You need to understand that this is going to be happening all over America. And I know people like Governor Ron DeSantis in Florida, he's saying, not going to happen here at all. And I believe it. I don't think in the southern states we're going to allow that to happen either, except in these liberal blue cities.

And then all bets are off. And unfortunately, we've got some in Tennessee. I know many of you for example, Statesville. You guys are a rock solid red little community. You're going to have the protesters showing up this weekend.

And by the way, you know who's funding it? One of the heiresses from the Walmart. Sam Walton must be turning over in his grave right now. That's just unacceptable. But you've got big money Democrats that are funding all of this.

We're just going to have to pay very close attention. You people in California, you be safe. Call out the rooftop Koreans. I'm sure they're willing to. They looted a sushi restaurant last night, ladies and gentlemen.

A sushi restaurant. Who does that? You know what I'd do? I'd be firing that wasabi at him. That's right, make them burn, baby, bird.

All right, folks, we will see you tonight, 5 o'clock. Senator Marshall Blackburn joining us. ToddSterns.com. Go check out all of our stories there. You get out there and be good, America.

Be safe, too.
