So yesterday And this does not happen very often. Contrary to what Dieter may say, I don't lose my cool that often on the radio or on the TV. But last night on Newsmax, I got a little testy.

So let me explain what happened. Right before the show started, the White House announced they were going to do this surprise press conference. And. The press conference featured Patty Morin. Her daughter, Rachel, was brutally murdered by an illegal alien in Maryland.

All right. And this is important within the context of what's happening right now with this dangerous MS-13 gang member who was just deported from Maryland. And the Democrats are. all over this. And so Patty Morin was invited by the White House to address reporters, and it was really one of the most.

Horrifying things I've heard. And I'm sitting there listening to it. And again, this happened just moments before my Newsmax show.

So I'm sitting there listening to it. I had already had a prepared monologue already written. We were ready to go. And then this happened. And I just really exploded after all of this.

I want you to hear Patty Morin, cut number eight, please. Three-fourths of her brain hemorrhaged. Yeah. Her right and left side of her face bashed in. Her beautiful face bashed in, her head bashed in.

Broken bones, fractures. He takes and he drags her.

Some more. He tracks her through The thorn bushes. She has all the scrapes and cuts on her body. There wasn't one inch of her body that didn't have some kind of injury, whether it's bruising. Um broken bones, contusions, the scratches.

She had a um fractured rib. Fractured nose. Fractured skull. And then he takes her into the tunnel. And he picks her up.

He throws her against the wall. Blood is gushing from her head. Her hair is soaked in blood, and they showed us pictures of her body. Against the wall, outlined, the blood outlined her body, and you could see where the blood. ran down around her as he was raping her.

And then he threw her down. and raked us some more. And then he strangled her, because he didn't want her to be able to live to tell the story. They said that when they did the autopsy on her neck That one of the things they do is they open up the neck and they look to see how far the injury is. and then went all the way down as far as an injury as possible, hemorrhaging in the muscles.

because of how strong and violent the group was around her. These are the kind of people that have no No compulsion.

Okay. But to them, this is nothing. And when he was sitting in The courtroom. They actually look like He thought he was going to be set free. There was no remorse on his face at all.

Okay. This per this person took my daughter.

so violently and so gruesomely. And so graphically that they sealed the pictures because I don't want my granddaughters. to see these pictures. That's these are the kind of criminals President Trump wants to remove from our country. These are the kind of criminals that we need to remove from our country.

We are American citizens. Why should we allow People like this, violent criminals that have no conscience at all. to murder Our mothers our sisters, our daughters. What's what I don't understand. why there's even any kind of The problem with this?

I don't know what it was about this precious woman. But I was I was just emotionally triggered by listening to her heartbreak and the courage she had to walk into the White House press briefing room and stand in front of all these reporters. And what set me off was the fact that not a single person, not a single person was willing to ask this woman a question. To acknowledge her pain and her suffering. You know, this is what gets me about where we're at in the country right now.

We live in a society where the criminals are always the victims, and we just seem to not even care about the victims. We don't seem to care that real people, real American citizens' lives are being forever changed and impacted by these dangerous illegal criminals that, for whatever reason, the Democrats want to bring back into our country.

Now Senator Van Holland from Maryland has yet to even pick up the phone and call this woman. She is one of his constituents. But you know where Van Holland is? He's down in El Salvador trying to stage a prison break to get this MS thirteen gang member out of jail. But he can't even take the time, ladies and gentlemen, to reach out to one of his own constituents.

So, anyway, I'm listening to all of this in real time, and I will just tell you: when you see television, Most of it is scripted. In other words, scripts are written, and you have an anchor reading from those scripts. The only thing that's really unscripted in my show are the QA's I do with my guests. And a lot of that is just based on where the conversation is going.

So a lot of that is just all impromptu. What you're about to hear is me going off a little unhinged. Dieter, is it fair to say that I was a smidge? Unhinged yesterday. He's shaking his head.

Yeah, he's got the power pro going. Let's take a listen. These despicable people in this room right now, that press corps, shame on those people. Shame on them. By the way, you were able to watch that press briefing, and it was a surprise press briefing.

I'll get to that in just a moment. You were able to watch it on this cable news channel. You know who did not broadcast those remarks, CNN or MSDNC? They chose not to broadcast the pleas of a mother is still in anguish over the slaughter of her daughter at the hands of an illegal alien, a fugitive, illegal alien from El Salvador. And not one person in that press corps, not one damn person in that press corps had the courage to ask this woman a question.

to give her the time of day. Those networks not broadcasting this, shame on those people. They are a disgrace to the profession of journalism and broadcasting. Shame on every single one of them. But you got to see the White House Press Corps for who those people really are.

They don't care about you. The Democrats, they don't care about you. As a matter of fact, at this very moment, you've got a U.S. senator on foreign soil in El Salvador trying to return a very dangerous MS-13 gang member back to the United States. For what?

So the guy can go out there and kill an American citizen? By the way, Homeland Security just moments ago releasing evidence and allegations that this man may have committed domestic violence against his wife. This is coming from the Department of Homeland Security. They want this guy to come back so he can slap somebody around again. Is that what they want?

This is outrageous, ladies and gentlemen. And by the way, the Democrats, I mean, from a political standpoint, if you're a Republican, you're saying, you know what, Democrats, you just keep doing what you're doing. But I gotta tell you, this is a dangerous situation because every single one of these illegals on our soil that's out there committing crimes, they put every single one of us in danger, all of our families. To watch the heartbreak on that woman's face as she stood before the nation. And you had networks that refused to even cover this, that is simply outrageous.

It's disgusting and despicable. And I I said a few more things. But again, folks, I'm just enraged over the media completely ignoring the fact that you've got illegals killing American citizens on American soil. Nobody cares. And You just think, Todd.

The media reaction and how they've handled the border crisis. To your earlier point, the media wants to paint these illegal. That these illegal gangbangers, frankly, as though they are The victims in this. And so, if let's say the Biden administration, roles reversed here, would have put some alleged MS-13 gangbanger up there, they would have had all the questions. What's it like being?

And for them to not ask one question to that mother who is your story, that's your story in journalism, people. To your point. Who taught these kids?

Now reporters, the art of journalism. Because they've lost it somewhere along the way. It's despicable, is what it is. And by the way, we've got some new intel on this guy. His name is Kilmar Abrego Garcia, and he's the guy that was deported.

And the Democrats are hell bent on getting this guy out. As a matter of fact, James Carville, who is one of the top Democrat strategists, says the entire focus of the midterm elections should be returning all the illegals back to America. That's what they say the entire focus of the midterm campaign should be. They want these people back on our streets. Let me tell you something about this Garcia guy, and this is something they are not going to be telling you on CNN or MSDNC or any of the other networks.

This guy was, in fact, an MS-13 gang member. We know his street name that he went by when he was in the gang. And by the way, that information was obtained through confidential informants. In a gang field interview conducted by police in Maryland. We're not even talking about the Trump administration.

We're talking about police in Maryland. This guy, Garcia, was literally found in a Home Depot parking lot with individuals identified as MS thirteen members. That's who this guy is. By the way, he's also been hauled in over allegations of domestic violence against his wife. And again, that's not coming from the Trump administration.

That's coming from this man's wife. This is a very dangerous person. And yet you have a U.S. senator from the Commonwealth of Maryland right now in El Salvador trying to get this guy released so he can come back and he can be a predator on American streets.

Now what I find fascinating about all of this is it is a death wish for the Democrats because CNN has a brand new poll out. CNN says, according to their polling data, that over fifty six percent of American citizens believe that all illegal immigrants, every single illegal in this country should be deported. Deport all undocumented immigrants. Voters favoring the government trying to deport all 11 million of them. Back in 2016, just 38% of voters wanted the government to try to deport all 11 million undocumented immigrants.

Compared to where we are in 2025, 56% the majority, the American people have come a long way on this issue, much closer to Donald Trump, and I think that's a big part of the reason why Americans are increasingly saying the country is on the right track when it comes to immigration policy and why Donald Trump's net approval rating on that issue is in the positive.

So again, they're trying to tell you this Abrego Garcia guy is just an innocent guy from Maryland. He's a family man, wife, and kids. And all of a sudden, he got scooped up and sent to El Salvador. That's a load of hooey. This guy was a dangerous person.

And by the way, this is how CNN is now framing it, all right? They are completely in the tank for the illegals. And this is their literal headline. Abrego Garcia's wife responds to Trump administration publicizing civil protective order filing from 2021.

So they're literally blaming Trump now and accusing the Trump administration of exposing this guy's criminal past because he's a criminal. Ladies and gentlemen. He's a criminal. An alleged wife beater, I don't want anybody like that in my country.

So I'm just curious, ladies and gentlemen. I mean, I'm glad to see the CNN poll findings. 56% of Americans say all the illegals have to go. We've been preaching that on this program for a number of years now. Every single one of you has to go back to where you came from.

So, if an illegal commits a crime, we either hang them or we put them before a firing squad and we just. You know, you have at it. Wow, what an incredible night yesterday at the White House, where the President of the United States hosted a special Easter dinner for Christians around America. Our next guest was one of those there. He is the pastor of the Great First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Also, the author of the newest book, Jesus Revealed in the End Times, Dr. Robert Jeffers.

Dr. Jeffers, good to have you back with us.

Well, thank you for having me, Todd.

So what was that experience like last night, again, hosted by the White House Faith Office? You know, it's just unbelievable when you think everything the President's doing right now, all the negotiations he's in, he took three hours last night to spend with faith leaders. After the dinner, he even took us upstairs to the Lincoln bedroom and gave us the tour. Is that right? Yes, it was just unbelievable.

And Todd, this is such a contrast. to what the previous President did for Easter last year. Everybody remembers that Biden changed Easter to Transgender Visibility Day. I mean, it was an affront to Christians everywhere. But this President has done more to embrace Easter than any President in history.

It's been a week long celebration. And if you read that proclamation he issued last Palm Sunday, it wasn't the usual White House mealy mouth, may the spirit of Easter be with you wherever you go. He talked about, Trump talked about in his proclamation, the death of Christ on Good Friday that provides redemption from sins. On Easter Sunday, he rose from the dead for our victory over death. I mean, Trump is more.

Orthodox in his beliefs about Easter than 90% of preachers who will be preaching on Sunday morning. It's just amazing. It was just remarkable. And this week, it's been Pastor's Week on the Tom Stearns Radio Show, and we've had Franklin Graham, Jack Graham, Jack Hibbs, and now you, Dr. Jeffers.

And to the person, they all talked about that proclamation. And I think Jack Graham said it sounds like President Trump is an evangelist now.

Well, I tell you, it was well thought out, and it's part of an effort. You know, the President. I love the president. I've known him for 10 years now. What I love about him is he doesn't pretend to be something he's not.

He doesn't pretend to be overly pious. But he really sincerely believes faith is the glue that holds our culture together. And he believes faith, especially the Christian faith, has been marginalized in recent years. And he's trying to correct that. And I think one of the greatest ironies of history is going to be when people look back on this time period, they're going to say it took a secular real, New York State real estate tycoon to bring faith back to America and put it in its proper place.

You know, isn't that interesting? It's amazing how God works. Yeah, isn't that interesting, though, because there was another time, and there really aren't that many comparisons between Eisenhower and Donald Trump, but Eisenhower understood the power of the White House, and he understood in the throes of communism that Christianity was so vitally important to the health of the nation. And he actually used his platform in the White House to advance Christianity, much like President Trump is doing today. And he's doing it in a conciliatory, ironic spirit.

He's not angry and pounding the fist. He said, we're going to put Christianity back where it goes. And I believe he has an understanding that the country was founded on the Judeo-Christian faith, and those principles are important to uphold.

So it was a great experience at the White House. I got to sit at his table and listen to him talk. And, Todd, I always, every time I spend time with the president, I walk away from there, grateful God has put such a leader in control. He is very steady-handed. He's not, you know, frothing at the mouth, the mad dictator like some people are trying to make him out to be.

He is one of the, if not the smartest men I've ever been around. And we're in good hands with President Trump. Have you noticed, I mean, because you've known him for a number of years and were very influential in the first administration, being a spiritual counselor to the president, have you noticed any change? Changes in his demeanor, maybe his outlook on life since the assassination attempt? I think most people would say who have known him, like all highly intelligent people, he took us some time to process what had happened.

I said to him last night, the election you won the election, the last election on July 15th in Butler, Pennsylvania, when he's got back up after being shot and said fight, fight, fight. The election was over at that point. But I think he's taken some time to process that. I think he believes that God Intervened in that situation, and I'll leave it at that. I believe he believes that.

Dr. Robert Jeffers with us, the senior pastor at the First Baptist Church in Dallas and also the author of the book Jesus Revealed in the End Times. Dr. Jeffers, a lot of people wonder: are we living in those end times?

Well, technically, we're not in the end times. It begins with the rapture and ends with the second coming. But we're in what the Bible calls the last days.

Now, we've been in the last days for 2,000 years ever since Christ ascended into heaven, and we're awaiting the rapture. But whether or not we're in the last the end times, I know I'm in my end times. In the next 20 or 30 years, either he's coming or I'm going, but my end is coming. And so is just about everybody who's listening to this program. And the most important thing is to be ready for Christ's second coming.

You know, people get all scared about the end times. There's nothing to be scared about. In my book, I talk about the hope we have in Jesus. A great future awaits us if we know Christ as Savior. And the most important thing anybody could do listening to this program is this weekend as we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ to make sure you've received that gift of forgiveness that Christ came to provide.

This is early information coming from Florida State University, where there has been a shooting on campus. Video shows hundreds of students running away from the student union area. Also, there's a lot of law enforcement there.

So the good news is the police were there, and the police are. Um The police are fully armed, and guns are already drawn as they're running towards the danger. Just another reminder of how amazing law enforcement is in this country. As we run away, the law enforcement runs right to the danger zone, and that's what they're trained to do. These are great American patriots, and we certainly pray for everybody that's involved in this horrible situation unfolding right now at Florida State University.

Yeah, just going to weigh on real quick on the immigration and kind of a side note, so to speak, on that. Look, I mean, I agree 100%. We need to be focused on getting these noncitizen People out, especially the quote unquote dangerous ones. Um for sure. Uh But I guess my my main point that I kinda wanna bring up is And I'll put it like this.

I'll ask a question. Let's say. Let's say tomorrow. Tomorrow comes. And let's say hypothetically, okay.

The snap of the finger, the immigration problem solved. They're all out. They're all gone. Issue done with.

Okay. Let's be honest. How much safer would A city like Memphis B. How much safer would Chicago be? How much safer would Baltimore be?

the inner city Washington DC, Detroit, Michigan. I mean, sure, it'd be safer, I suppose, to get some of those dangerous illegals out. Sure. But what about all of the tens, tens, tens of thousands of of the dangerous Uh fine, what Gang members who are quote unquote citizens. who have been committing heinous, dangerous crimes day in and day out for years and years and years.

So What I'm trying to get at is. Our leaders who are well, some of the ones.

Some of our leaders. who are taking this illegal immigration problem serious.

Well, I'm sorry, but they need to be taking These individuals I've just mentioned. Just as serious because, again, if you wake up tomorrow morning, all the legals are gone.

Well let's be honest. Memphis would still be having three hundred plus homicides every year. Detroit, Chicago.

So in other words, it's just We can't just stop. with the illegals. We have to be taking all the quote unquote homegrown uh dangerous criminals. Just as serious.

Now, I'm not saying that we need to just be, believe me, I'm not saying we need to be swooping up these. Kids. who are toting around AK forty sevens and All kinds of drugs and logs of ass. I'm not saying we need to swoop them up. But Kyle, let me jump in here for a second because, look, I get it.

And yeah, you're right. There's a lot of violence out there. But the problem is the federal government does not have the power to intervene like that.

So the Constitution doesn't give President Trump the power to go into Memphis, Tennessee, and start rounding up all the gangbangers here. What they can do, though, is handle the illegal immigration issue.

So that is within his purview. But I'm with you on the state and the local. And I think that we need to be just as aggressive as Trump is being right now with Tom Holman on the borders are and getting in there and rooting out and getting these people off the streets and into the prisons. Sure, yeah, logistically speaking, yeah, I see what you mean. He can't do anything about it, but he could be talking with.

The governors and mayors of these places that have had these terrible problems for years. You could at least be sitting down with them and trying to. Talk with them about solutions.

Well, let me ask you though, but do you really think that Donald Trump will be able to change the mayor of Memphis, Tennessee's mind or the mayor of Houston's mind? Not in the next year or two, no, no, no. But it it it's gotta start somewhere. that's got something that's got to be done about these kids. With all these wads of cash and these AK forty sevens just going around.

It's they're truancy every day. They're not they're not in school. They're just out here committing these heinous crimes.

So, in other words, again, like I said, yes, we need to deal with this illegal immigration crap ASAP, no doubt about it. But if that's if that's all that happens and then we So anyway, I'm just saying. No, no, no, no, no. Kyle, look, I hear you. No, I hear you.

And I think you're right. I mean, it's, yeah, are we dealing with criminal illegals here in Memphis? Not that many that I know of. The bigger problem in Memphis is the gangbangers. That's the bigger problem in Memphis.

And I hear you on that. And I think a lot of it falls back to who are we electing? And are we doing our due diligence in understanding who these people are and what they're going to do before they get elected? And the problem in Memphis is you guys have a I've met the mayor. He's a nice guy, good family man, good husband, good father.

But this guy knows nothing about leading a city. He is not a leader. And that is very evident in how he's handled this massive crime epidemic in Memphis, Tennessee. And the fact of the matter is only, I think, what, 20 some odd thousand people actually bothered to vote for this guy, and he won.

So that tells me a lot of people didn't even bother to go and vote on election day. No, that's a good point. No, that's a good point. Yes, I mean, it has to be more on the grassroots level, so to speak, of tackling this problem for sure.

Now I agree. All right. Well, Kyle, good thoughts. I mean, and I hear you, and it's exasperating. I mean, there are so many problems in America right now.

And we brought this up during the Biden years last year. I mean, how many dumpster fires are burning right now in America? There are a lot of them, and Trump is trying to extinguish them one by one. And that's why this illegal immigration situation is so vitally important. Kyle, I've got to run.

Just to give you an update, as we head off to the top of the hour, folks, from Florida State University, CBS News reporting that a local hospital, Tallahassee Memorial, receiving and caring for patients related to an incident that has occurred at Florida State. We now know that incident to be an active shooting situation near the student union. Details still unfolding. We do not have specific information to share. This is coming from the hospital.

However, we want to assure the community our teams are fully mobilized and prepared to provide the highest level of care and support to all of those affected. We are hearing early reports now of at least four people that have arrived at the hospital. The shooter reported in the area of the student union, and that first alert happened just one minute after the top of this hour.

Right now, though, I want to bring you up to speed on the very latest information coming out of Florida State University, where in the last hour, an active shooter was reported on campus. We're hearing reports as many of as many as 30 gunshots fired in the area of the student union. And Ben, I know you've been following the developments as well. What you got for us?

Well, it's really devastating seeing some of the images and footage circulating on social media. Just things that we want to independently confirm. But locals right now have been urged to stay inside, lock their doors, stay away from windows as the camp base has been placed under a strict lockdown. I saw one local news report there in Tallahassee. People just speaking to the gunshots, again, getting reports of four people that have been taken to an area hospital of that condition, and their conditions at this time are unknown.

Just trying to reach out and get as much. Information from Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Hospital, but not giving much details, Todd, as they're looking for that suspected gunman. And CNN is reporting the suspect may actually be in custody, but there are videos circulating of police rushing. It looks like they're actually hauling away one of the victims here. There is some video.

That I have seen, and it's pretty horrifying because of the context and the nature, but several bodies on the ground outside of one of the buildings, covered in blood. A witness on the scene also telling WCTV, which is a local TV station there, that they saw a colleged age man exit the student union with a handgun. Another witness telling the Tallahassee Democrat that they heard what sounded like automatic gunfire, and the rest we're still trying to figure out. All right. Well, we are going to keep you updated.

We first shared this story with you a few days ago, and it went viral on our social media pages. And it's one of the most despicable stories I've heard. And we have covered a lot of stories over the years. The years. But thank goodness for our friends at the Massachusetts Family Institute.

They're all over the story, involving parents in Burlington, Massachusetts. And middle school students were asked to take part in a very graphic sex survey. The the the teachers reportedly refused to allow parents to opt their kids out of the assignment. I want you to listen to one of the moms who's just outraged.

So my daughter was asked, have you ever had sexual contact with another person? Sexual contact? I I did, and she told she was opted out, but she was still told the survey was mandatory, so I have screenshots from her. Sexual contacts include things such as kissing, touching. Sexual intercourse.

Have you ever had sexual intercourse, sexual intercourse, including vagina sex? Which is when A penis goes inside of A vagina, oral sex, which is contact between the mouth and the genitals, anal sex, which is when a penis goes in the anus. In parentheses, but in the use of toys or props, vaginal or anal. This is just inexplicable why this could have happened. I want to go to our Old Glory Bank newsmaker lines, and we are honored to have several people with us.

First, from the Massachusetts Liberty Legal Center, attorney Sam Whiting, and a parent from Burlington, David Hannavan. Gentlemen, welcome to you both. And, David, I want to start with you. As a dad, when you found out what happened in that school, what was your initial reaction? I was curious.

Unfortunately, I wasn't incredibly surprised though. This has been an issue that's been ongoing in the school For quite some time in our town. My wife and I have nine kids, and three of them are in college now, two in high school, one in middle school, and three in elementary school.

So this happened in high school and in the middle school.

So My high school kids They knew that this was not going to happen for them, so they got up and explained to the teacher. They were opted out, and they said, If there's an issue, you can call my dad, and they just left. The middle school son, he's a kid, so he actually sat down and took the survey, which I was livid about.

So, like I said, it it I can't explain to you how upset and how hurt parents are. And a lot of the parents are relatively new to this, but this is not new. This has been going on for a couple of years. The survey's been being given in the schools. for a couple of years, and we have a perpetual opt out for every single one of my children.

when it comes to this issue and and it wasn't honored. I want to bring Sam, I want to bring you into the conversation here. And that's the disturbing part for me is that the teachers ordered the kids to basically ignore these opt outs. Is that illegal? Can the teachers do something like that?

Yes, it absolutely is illegal Todd. And so there's a federal law called the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment, which says that if you're going to offer a survey on these types of sensitive topics to students in You know, K through 12 school, you have to allow parents to opt them out. And so the parents exercise that right. They opted their kids out. But through some sort of either miscommunication or malice, the teachers.

Not only didn't honor that parental opt-out, because they said that, oh, these kids aren't on the opt-out list. But when kids stood up and said, well, I don't want to take this, I think my parent opted me out. They said, sit down, take it anyways. You have to. You're not on the list.

So this is a really egregious violation of parental rights. It's an egregious violation of federal law. And so that's why we partnered with parents to file federal complaints against the school to make sure that this never happened again. Sam, from a legal standpoint, and here's my take on it. And just I'm not an attorney, but it just seems to me that whoever.

Whoever came up with this survey, who Whoever signed off on the survey and whoever administered the survey, all those people need to lose their jobs and, quite frankly, face some sort of charges because it seems to me what they did to these kids really is a form of child abuse. There absolutely needs to be accountability here. And as David said, this is not the first time that something like this has happened in Burlington.

So the idea that this was just a simple oversight that there wasn't, at the very least, gross negligence involved here is a total lie. people need to be held accountable. People need to lose their jobs over this. And I agree. If this was a person who came up to your kid on the playground and started asking them these types of questions, that person would probably be locked up for that.

That is basically exposing a minor to illicit sexual material.

So that's not going to happen here in this case because This is you know, it's Massachusetts and this is a school and they have certain immunities, but Um certainly just speaking from a moral Perspective, you know, people need to absolutely be held accountable to the fullest extent that they can. David, I was really impressed with the turnout of moms and dads there at the meeting. Were you guys satisfied with any responses? And have you even received a response from the school, acknowledging the concerns you guys have? No, in fact, the second week there were more people that showed up than the first.

And the reason why is because. They sort of were hiding under their desks and they said, Oh, well, you know, this was an oversight and it flipped through the cracks, and we're going to review our policies. That's been said over and over and over again, and there's been no accountability, and parents are not at all satisfied with the answers. In fact, the superintendent issued a statement yesterday. And it was probably written by legal counsel, and it was it was incredibly tone deaf.

And they take these surveys, which I guess even go back to the survey itself, why anybody would ever need to know this information. I don't understand why they would ever put this in front of a child in the first place.

So the opt out is an important thing. But even if your kids opted out of the survey, These kids are in sixth, seventh and eighth grade. If your kids opted out and the teachers honored that, What are the kids talking about at lunch after they take a survey like this? But what are they talking about at the bus stop or on their way home from school? You opened a door.

To something they should never be speaking about at sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. And I was mentioning somebody earlier: I have a daughter who's. If she were two months older, she would have been in sixth grade. She's she's eleven, and she'll be in sixth grade next year. She still writes her list for Santa Claus every year, and she waits for Santa Claus to come and she's going to be asked questions like the one you just heard.

It's disgusting.

So the surveys need to go away entirely, completely, and whoever's responsible for them needs to be needs to answer for it. Um so you know they they will say we're gonna you know dust up our Top-down policy. I mean, that's not even close to enough. These things need to go away. And they need to get all this out of the schools.

We send our kids to school to learn how to read, to write, accurate history, accurate science, teach them math, and then you send them home, and we'll teach them the values. And we live in a great town. Burlington is getting a huge black eye because of the schools. Other than that, it's been a great town. I grew up here.

Um So they they the That he put out last night, incredibly tone-deaf. And what they do is they say, okay, well, we recognize there's a problem, so we're the solution. We're going to have more DEI, we're going to have more sex ed, and we're going to bring it to younger kids because we need to, you know. Candle these topics more more um readily and accessible for everybody.

So they they think that they they created the problem. And they think that they're still the solution. They just they don't get it. No, they don't. And Sam, I'm listening to David here, and these parents have legitimate concerns, and it just seems to me that they're being brushed off here.

That you've got radical alphabet activists that are trying to shove this propaganda campaign into the minds of these kids. And one parent described it, I believe, as a form of mental pornography. And is that a fair way to categorize these surveys? I think that's absolutely fair. I mean, the question that you heard from that parent reading that off.

I wouldn't want my 11-year-old to hear that. I wouldn't want my 16-year-old to hear that. Because, again, the talking point that oh, these kids are already exposed to this, some of these kids are already sexually active. First of all, they shouldn't be. That's not healthy for a student at that age.

But second of all, This is another Adult exposing your child to this survey, these very graphic, explicit questions. And as another mom has said, Um of a of a Burlington student. You know, sh she works in the area of sexual abuse avoidance for kids and If there's ever an adult that comes up to your kid and says, Hey, I want to talk to you about sexual stuff, don't tell your parents that I did this or let's keep this between you and I. That's always a red flag that that person is engaging in some sort of. Sexual grooming or sexual indoctrination of your child, and that just should never be accepted.

In our society.

So we think, unfortunately, a lot of people have been desensitized to this. To the point of not speaking up. But I think this really struck a chord in Burlington, and we're just encouraged to see that. All of these parents, you know, the mama bears and the papa bears, are coming out and they're defending their kids from. This really egregious stuff that's being pushed on them.

Yeah. And David, good for you and all the other parents. And I know that there are just on the response on my social media pages, people are just enraged that something like this could have happened. What is your message to other moms and dads that may have kids in public schools around the country? I just think we need to pay attention.

If you think about it, they had screenshots, and one mother had the courage to put it up on Facebook that day, which is how a lot of the parents found out about it, because they were saying if my eleven year old came home, they wouldn't even feel comfortable bringing it up because they didn't know what to say. And so it goes on in a lot more schools than you think. And I've heard from a ton of people in the last couple of weeks since this is gotten some traction and people have heard about it. And it's something where you need to look at it in your own school system because a lot of the parents that are seeing it for the first time, like I said, they may have kids that are now in middle school. I have older kids, so I've been aware of it for a longer period of time.

And I think, as a parent, too, you need to be willing to stand up. parents to the biggest bully organization in the school. Is this LGBTQ organization? And the message is they have flags everywhere, they have stickers everywhere, and it tells you to step in line and close your mouth. And people are afraid to speak up.

That can't happen anymore. It's a new era. We need to flush this stuff out, teach the kids to read and write and send them home. This stuff all has to go away. There's no need for a survey like that to ever be put in front of a kid.

There's no value to it. There's no benefit to it. And it harms kids. Parents need to step up. Guys, hey, Jesus, I've got to cut the interview here.

And Ben Dieter, we've been following the developments at Florida State University. And it is just, it's really looking grim right now around the student union building where that shooting happened. Yeah, so we do have some big breaking news as Tallahassee Police Todd is confirming at about 1.05 Eastern that one person is in custody. They're not confirming any deaths.

However, they're reporting multiple injuries, which would be consistent from what we're hearing from the local hospital there. Also, they are right now staging a press conference, which is expected soon. And so, of course, we'll be following up on that as well. But again, students still told to shelter in place, and we'll let you know when they lift that. Forrest Saunders is a capital reporter for EW Scripts, and he is on the scene.

And he said, I've seen multiple injured being loaded into ambulances outside the student union. This was about 40 minutes ago. He said one man was shackled by law enforcement before being taken away from the scene. Students, there's also video of students being evacuated from buildings, and we've all seen these images before. Hands up, they're walking single file out of one of the student buildings.

And apparently, there were a lot of people out. It was a beautiful day in Florida. Kids were outside, you know, having, you know, eating their lunch or whatever. And you can see people literally ran and left their shoes in one place. Will is a FSU senior, and he was on the library campus there, the campus in the library, around noon with his friends when he saw people running.

He told the Tallahassee Democrat that he ran with them, exiting the back of the library, and said he heard about seven to eight gunshots. And followed up saying, I'm not sure if that was the shooter shooting or if that was the cops. shooting at a shooter. All right, again, ladies and gentlemen, the breaking news out of Florida State University in active shooter situation. Gunman in custody.

There are multiple victims. That's all they're telling us at the moment here. All right, we've got to take a quick break. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

This is the Tom Stern Show. All right. Some new information coming out from Florida State University now reporting six injured, one critically, and a man has been arrested. The entire campus. Is on lockdown.

This is at Florida State University. And they're saying as many as thirty, possibly more, gunshots were fired. A student in the College of Business building, which is adjacent to the student unit, said they heard a teacher run down the hallway alerting them of the shooter. God bless this teacher. Wow.

Students hid in small rooms within the classroom, doors locked. One man was studying for a final exam. and um said that He thought something like this would never happen again. This guy actually survived the Parkland high school shooting.

So, anyway, the hospital now reporting that at least six patients are being treated: one in critical condition, the rest in serious condition. Those numbers will more than likely be increasing as the day goes on. I want to play some audio. We just got. This is.

This is so outrageous. This story out of Texas, where you have. The Austin Metcalf, who was stabbed in the heart by Carmelo Anthony. That is the accusation. And Anthony has been charged.

A million dollars bond that got cut down to 250,000, which was what $25,000 you got to plop down.

So they're having a press conference, and Austin Metcalfe's father showed up at the public press conference. Again, this is the father of the dead 17-year-old. The attorneys for Carmelo Anthony became enraged. How dare the victim's father show up? I want you to take a listen.

And all I'm going to say.

So it don't be asked later. As that was disrespectful, And just shows you all. The character Who was not invited? He knows. that is inappropriate to be near this family.

But he did it. And so I say to people: actions speak louder than words.

Okay. What he has failed into is the political operatives. that want to make this thing A political thing of hate, yet bigotry, and yet racism. We have conservative operatives that have been posting non-stop. about this case.

All right, so that's the attorney for Carmelo Anthony. The teenager who plunged a knife into the heart of another teenager at a track and field meet.

Now, I want to tell you a little something about this guy. His name is Kim Cole. He is the general counsel for the Next Generation Action Network Foundation. This is a BLM-supported organization. And what you just did was you heard what you just heard, you heard him literally attacking the father of a dead teenager.

Can we just go back? We're not going to play the whole thing. I just want you to listen again within that context. This is insanity. And all I'm going to say So it don't be asked later.

As that was disrespectful, that and just shows you all. The character Who is not invited? All right, stop right there. Stop right. Stop right there.

Talking about character. All right, let's have that conversation, sir. First of all, can you learn some English, some grammar, sir? It's the word is that. That, Mr.

Attorney. But can we talk about the character for just a moment? I don't want to get caught up in the grammar, the bad grammar. Can we talk about the character? Let's talk about character.

Let's talk about the character of Carmelo Anthony. I want to know what sort of household this kid was raised in where he thought it was okay to just plunge a knife into the heart of a 17-year-old kid. You want to talk about character, mister Attorney? Let's have that conversation. But what kind and you want to talk about character?

Let's talk about the attorney's character for crying out loud, going out there and attacking the victim's father. And what did I tell you at the start of the programme, ladies and gentlemen? Look at how the mainstream media, look at how the White House press corps treated the mother of Rachel Morin. who was literally beaten to death. By an illegal alien, and who is the victim?

Oh, it's not the, it's not Rachel Morin, it's not Rachel Morin's family. No, no, no. It's the gangbanger who should not have been on American soil in the first place. He's the true victim here. The victim down in Dallas, Texas, is not Austin Metcalfe.

The honor roll student. The football star. No, no, no, no, no. He's not the victim. Yeah, I know there's a big knife plunged into his chest.

I get that, but he's not the victim. No, no, no. Carmelo Anthony is the victim. And you better watch this case, folks, because they're trying to make this George Floyd in reverse. That's what they're trying to do.

We're not gonna let them get away with it on this program. But I am telling you right now, they are looking for something. The left is looking for something in this country to create another George Floyd riot. Whether it's the illegals, whether it's this black-on-white violence that's epidemic levels, they're going to try to find something to burn down an American city. That's what they're after.

And you gotta pay very close attention, folks, because they know. That the way to derail the America First agenda is to play a race card somewhere. But this This Jeezaloo, ladies and gentlemen, I've Wow.

So There you have it. And by the way, good on Austin Metcalf's dad for refusing to leave. Good on you, sir. You deserve justice, your family deserves justice. Are they going to get justice?

So they're becoming a they're about to become a sanctuary city for transgender people. I do not know what that means. But apparently, if you're transgender, you can find sanctuary in Ventura, California.

So Mothers, parents, very concerned, very upset about all of this, and they showed up at a council meeting the other day. And so this lady. Was going to address the council, as is her right as a citizen of Ventura, California, a good, hardworking, taxpaying citizen. And I want you to listen to how it all went down. Hi, I'm Terrence Wayne.

I'm a mother of six, and the Ventura County Public School socially transitioned my daughter without my consent. Uh I come here today to offer nothing but prayer, and I want to lift up my Father in heaven. Father God, I just come to you in Jesus' name. I pray, Father. That you would tear down the strongholds in this place.

I pray, Father, that you would raise up the men in this room. I pray, Father, that you would. Stop. I pray that you would raise up everybody on this Everybody Stop. Yep, stop.

So anyway, let's head over to Ben Dieter. And Ben, it's just. Going from bad to worse in at Florida State University right now. At least five dead, four injured, which is a dramatic update here, and that is coming from W. F T V, which is the local TV station there, and they say they have it on good authority.

They have law enforcement confirming. That there are at least five people dead, four others injured during that, what they're calling an active shooter event. Also, according to law enforcement, there are two. Two shooters involved.

Now, one is in custody. The other is dead. And so now what the news crews, law enforcement trying to figure out if the shooter is included in the total number of deaths, but we'll get more updates very soon, I can imagine. And Governor Ron DeSantis just posting this message: our prayers are with the FSU family, and state law enforcement is actively responding. We can also tell you, and we have a lot of Florida listeners, so they're going to want to know this information.

But all public schools are dismissing early in Leon County, which is the county where Florida State is located.

So that is going to be significant. I have to imagine a lot of very concerned moms and dads there.

So the numbers are still fluid, but we know that, and again, the Tallahassee Democrat, for example, they're reporting six people are injured. Those are the six people that have been brought to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

So people may be going to other hospitals as well. But Tallahassee is the only level two trauma center in the the Big Bend area, the Big Bend region of Florida.

So, just a horrible situation there. And we don't have any word on motive. We don't have any word on identities of the suspect or suspects just yet, but we'll keep you updated. By the way, we are filling up TomSterns.com. We have a lot of video from the scene.

So now his mother is speaking out, and the mother is claiming that they are the true victims here and not the young man who was stabbed in the heart by her son. Take a listen. My three younger children, my husband, and I didn't do anything to deserve to be threatened. harassed and lied about. The lies and false accusations that have been said about us Especially over the past week. has been overwhelming. The lies in their amplification put my family in danger.

as well as everyone in our community. everyone involved in the investigation, from the police the attorneys in the courts failed. Our address and my husband's previous employer's address. has been put on all social media platforms. My husband had to take a leave of absence because he's afraid what may happen to our family.

His mental health is deteriorating day by day. We have endured death threats. My thirteen-year-old daughter. It's a phrase. To sleep in her own bedroom because she's furious.

Yeah. Or what might happen to her? And let me be clear. The claims The claims u that were used about the public donation So buy a home. or anything else are completely false.

We have not received a single dime from the Give Sen Go fundraiser. And the co-founder has stated that clearly. In the reality, we were just notified yesterday that we could begin.

So withdraw funds. And it still takes several days to receive those funds. How does she know that?

Okay, stop, stop. Thank you, Dylan. Dieter, it's just overwhelming, but you know how this is all going to play out. I mean, quite frankly, they're going to call I'm surprised they haven't called for the arrest of the dead kid's mom and dad. Because only in 2025, Todd, would this mom be the victim?

The mom who still can kiss her son, Carmelo, every single night. Because he's out of jail right now. In their $900,000 home. Yeah. With the Cadillac Escalade in the front yard.

Look, here's my concern because we live in Memphis, so we see this play out every single day. We know they're going to play the race card here, and they've already played it. My concern is they're going to try and force this on the entire nation. And again, if this had been a white on black crime, it would be wall-to-wall news coverage. But it's still going to be wall-to-wall news coverage because I guess the argument is shame on the white kid for allowing himself to get stabbed in the chest.

Is that the excuse?

Well, I mean, even if this becomes a case. Where, I mean, court T V happens and you know, where the entire nation turns their eyes on. This, which will wind through the legal court, they have a ton. Tough argument to make against self-defense in Texas because Texas laws allow for self-defense, and that's where they are going to come in and say, well, this kid was just doing self-defense and that he was the aggressor, or there was the aggressor coming from the Metcalf boys, and he responded. But if you look at just the witness testimony, I was watching a little bit of the legal team, this is going to be a very difficult case.

case. For the defense of this What it would be the alleged attacker to plead that he was just minding his business one day, and these two white brothers attacked him. The sad reality here is that the media will treat The the black teenagers Family as the victims here, and they will be portraying this white family as members of the KKK. Before it's all said and done, they will be portraying them as white supremacists. You watch.

And James Carville, who is probably the Dean of Political Strategist on the Left. Says that the Democrats need to double down here, and this needs to be the rally cry going into the midterm elections. And if it wasn't for the fact that having all these illegals here puts all of us in grave danger, I'd say, go, more power to you, Democrats. If you think that's the winning strategy, you go for it.

Well, I want to go to the Patriot Mobile newsmaker line, and it's always an honor to have Congresswoman Mary Miller joining us from the great state of Illinois. And Congresswoman, it's again just mind-blowing to think that the Democrats feel like the best strategy here is to stand up for these very dangerous illegal aliens. It is. It's insane. This morning when I was reading my Bible and Proverbs, I read this verse.

He who justifies the wicked is an abomination to the Lord. And this Democrat Chris Van Holland, a Maryland senator, using taxpayer money on a trip to a foreign nation to go advocate for an illegal alien criminal, a violent criminal. criminal in our country is unbelievable. And it's interesting because that very same senator has not said a word about the women in his own state who have been murdered by illegals. It's absolutely shameful.

We were just about to start the Newsmax TV show when the press conference happened yesterday and Patty Morin, who is the mother of Rachel, who was killed by an illegal there in Maryland, really stunning to know that her own senator has not even bothered to reach out.

Meanwhile, he's down and, to your point, in El Salvador trying to stage a prison break to bring this dangerous MS-13 gang member back here. The first responsibility of the government is to protect its people. And which includes securing the border, securing private spaces for women and girls, making sure our children are safe and secure in schools, and then to punish lawbreakers. And people that come here illegally and commit crimes are lawbreakers. President Trump is doing the right thing.

to export these Criminal aliens, and Americans want to feel safe in their home and their communities. And Don't even get me started about a road. And the foreigners that are driving trucks on them, too. I mean, Americans are in danger because of Democrat policies and what President Biden did. No, it's a fair point you raise, and you're right about those truck drivers and the numbers.

And I'm not sure that we have a clear number of drivers who are out there who don't even speak English, which means they cannot read our road signs and may not even be qualified to drive those big rigs. I mean, it puts everybody in danger. I have been staying for months. When I'm in district and I go back to DC, I go, we have got to do something. I'm afraid we're going to have a mass casualty event, which we had an event down in Texas with that uh foreign truck driver that caused a pileup But I don't know what it is.

There are so many foreign truck drivers on the road. They don't speak a lick of English. I don't know how they're getting their licenses. Talk to people that have had trucking companies and they are super alarm these People aren't carrying enough insurance. and they want to know how they're even getting here in the country.

And getting licenses and getting set up to drive. I don't know. That's a whole nother thing besides. The criminal aliens and deporting them. President Trump.

Yes. Chief. It's just such a contrast. Joe Biden. And cares about our country like a father, and he wants to protect us.

That is the first duty of the government. And isn't it interesting that the CNN, they conducted a poll and the numbers came out today. 56% of Americans say they support deporting all illegal immigrants, every single one of them. Are you finding that sort of attitude there in your district among your constituents? Absolutely.

And it's not that people are opposed to immigration, and I'm not opposed to immigration, but it needs to be legal. The whole world wants to come here. We should be choosy about who's coming. People should prove that they're worthy of being able to. come here and it should be all legal.

They should speak our language. They should pass a basic civics test and they should be able to prove that they're going to add some something to our society, to our economy and that they will be willing to assimilate. Yes, again, a scripture that comes to my mind is that righteousness. Exalts the nation. And I do believe that President Trump understands that. He is unapologetically standing up for our Christian values. And this is what we need.

And he's organizing all kinds of celebrations in the White House with faith leaders this week. And you know I was proud to declare April as Faith Month on the House floor in the last Congress. Our nation needs to return to Christ. You know, and I was, we've had on this show, we've been joking that it's Pastor's Week on the Todd Stern show. We've had Robert Jeffers, Franklin Graham, Jack Hibbs, and we just had Jack Graham from Prestonwood Baptist Church.

And all of them are telling me that there's something going on in the country, and some are calling it maybe a revival. But more young Americans are showing up at church, more young American men are reading their Bibles. What do you make of that?

Well, I think people deep down the question: you know, where did I come from? Why am I here? And where am I heading? And Christianity answers all those questions. There's a creator God.

The Bible, Old and New Testament, lays out what God requires of man. And I think it's interesting, all the religions of the world. Say, do, do this or that, but Christianity is the only one that says done. Payment for sins has been made by the perfect sinless one, Jesus Christ. It was given as a gift.

And now Anybody that accepts that gift can have eternal life in His presence. Purpose in this life and the promises of God, especially the one I love, He promises, I will never leave you nor forsake you. We may have to make you a pastor too, Mary Melder. That was a sermon right there. Let me ask you, before we let you go, I know it's Easter weekend and a lot of families have a lot of traditions.

What does it look like? What does Easter look like in the Miller household?

Well, we have a very large family, seven children. We just this past week had our twenty-first grandchild. Wow. And so we attend we have a breakfast at church. Then we have a church service, and then we get together for a big lunch.

Everybody pitches in. We look outside of our family to people that may not have invitations and they would be alone.

So we invite them. A weather permitting, we will enjoy God's creation on the farm and taking hikes and Playing ball with the kids and all that kind of fun stuff. Lots of relational things going on. We before we eat dinner, we have a prayer and we sing a hymn together. I love that.

That is sounds like a wonderful celebration. And I know families all over the country are going to be doing something very similar. And Congresswoman, we always appreciate you coming on the show and just wish you and your family a happy Easter.

And I want to catch you up on what's happening at Florida State University. President Trump now says he has been briefed. He was asked a question about that in the White House Oval Office just a few moments ago. The information coming from a TV affiliate in Orlando, Florida. five dead, four injured, two shooters.

One shooter dead, one in custody.

Now, we're not getting those numbers from any other news sources just yet.

So. Again, I will say unconfirmed. We understand that Governor DeSantis has been briefed as well. Schools in the area, again, just to understand the magnitude of what we're dealing with here, the schools. In Tallahassee, we have all been shut down.

Everybody's going home. We also understand that all Florida State University athletic events through Sunday have now been canceled.

So that tells us that this is a pretty serious situation, whatever has happened. We are waiting for a press conference. The university is still under lockdown.

Now, I think we have some eyewitnesses, we have a young man who. witnessed all of this, and I want you to take a listen to him. Yeah, well I mean I came we were over in the loading bay right here next to it and started seeing everybody run the maintenance guys were telling everybody to get out of the building so everybody started coming out in the back and I mean if they would have probably moved 20 feet further they would have been on this side of the building which is where he walked out. He came out. Yeah, he came out on this door right here and then he saw the maintenance guy who was waving everybody and I guess heard him probably and turned and shot that way towards like our direction towards him.

There's a golf cart over here with a bullet hole in it that blocked it.

So that was meant for him. And then after that he turned this way and started shooting out on the green. He didn't shoot many shots when he came outside. It was only like four or five shots but he shot like two at our direction and they shot like two this direction and that's the girl that got shot in the butt over here that was laying down for a while. They stretchered her off.

She looked like she was alive. but I'm I'm not sure. I hope that she is. Um but then he he went back inside I should have probably hid, I pulled out my phone and started videoing everything and came back out. I heard that there was a shotgun that never fired that they saw, so they had me looking in the bushes for a shotgun for a while.

And just say, I'd be like who? The cops. The cops showed up very fast, like almost instantly. Tons and tons of cops showed up instantly. I mean, there were probably 20 cops within five minutes.

Um Just right there, but then as well as the hundred that were out here did you see many shooters like multiple shooters? I didn't see multiple there was only the one that was in here, but what I've heard is that they had one at each entrance So I think that like this was the guy on this side and then there was probably one on that side and one on that side So nobody was gonna get out essentially. Yeah, they had it planned. I mean it seems like a coordinated thing they I mean it was it was definitely coordinated and what were you doing here? Were you getting ready to go to the union?

What was like where were you? No, I just left. I was going to my car.

So you were just leaving the car. Yeah, parked on the service drive driver. How does that make you feel knowing you kind of missed the brunt of it?

Well I mean good, I'm glad I'm alive and I'm glad everybody else standing here wasn't right there, but um And I'm glad that my maintenance guy was helping by everybody out got missed, but I mean it's crazy, people are sick, you know, there's sick people in the world.

Well, there are sick people in the world, and this guy to be so composed. But again, it shows you just the level of violence in this nation where. You know, this is almost a commonplace occurrence now. We've got some other audio, and I want you to hear this. This was filmed outside.

Outside the student union building, and there is a gunman, and we have this video up on toddstearns.com. You can see it for yourself. But this is actual. Video of the shooting as it was taking place. Let's listen.

All right, there you go. Just a little bit again of what students had to endure, students and faculty there at Florida State University, what they had to endure. We've got no information right now. We are going to dip into the press conference when that happens, and we will bring that to you. All right.

Another story we've been following, and this is really some shocking news. There are. Unfortunately, there are members of the deep state that are still infiltrated within the Trump world, and it is troubling. The good news is that we've got people like Tulsi Gabbard and Pete Hagseth and Susie Wiles and J.D. Vance.

And the reporting out there, and this came out late last night, is that all of those individuals. Worked together to block a push towards war with Iran.

So there were people inside Trump's circle. That were encouraging the president to go to war against Iran. Reading from the reporting, there were many reasons that Israeli officials expected Trump to take an aggressive line on Iran. In 2020, he ordered the killing of General Qassam Suleimani, the commander of Iran's most elite military unit. And Iran sought to hire hitmen to assassinate Trump during last year's presidential campaign.

But inside the Trump administration, some officials were becoming skeptical of the Israeli plan.

So, the thought process here, the story reporting as it goes, is that Israel was pushing Trump to go and attack Iran. In a meeting this month, one of several discussions about the Israeli plan, Tulsi Gabbard presented a new intelligence assessment that said the buildup of American weaponry could potentially spark a wider conflict with Iran that the United States did not want. A range of officials echoed Ms. Gabbard's concerns, including Susie Wiles. Pete Hagseff, J.

D. Vance, and they all voiced doubts about the attack.

Well I don't know about you, but I'm glad we have those voices inside the Trump White House. My concern is who's pressing President Trump to go to war with Iran? That's what I want to know. Because if we do that, it is on, ladies and gentlemen, and we would be probably well on our way to a World War three. That is a huge concern.

So, we're going to keep an eye on this. But again, thank goodness. For people like J.D. Vance and Pete Hangseth, for taking a firm stand here. And it says a lot about Susie Wiles because she's ultimately the gatekeeper as the president's chief of staff.

You know, unfortunately, most of the radio stations that carry this program are locally owned and operated. And so they actually care about local news and breaking news.

So it's, you know, we do it because I know we have a lot of listeners in Florida, and we do this whenever there is a major breaking news story.

So I appreciate those kind words, Jerry. But yeah, I've noticed that. You know, the radio industry has been just decimated in the last twenty to thirty years. as far as if you're looking for work and having news departments and stuff. stuff like that.

But yeah, the local stations here in Little Rock. If something like this was happening, they would simulcast with whatever T V Yeah. They're not even doing that in Tallahassee.

Well, you know, as much as we love what the President is doing, I'm especially grateful that. RFK Jr. is taking such a fierce position to make America healthy again, and our next guest I know is excited about that as well, Kim Bright, the founder of Bright Corps. And it's only to create headlines and rather their punitive policies that lever fear mongering and misinformation. And the outcome is going to be empty grocery store shelves and increased prices and cashiers forced to be the food police. That is such a bunch of bunk.

you know, and he's he's he's focused on answering by September on autism. And there's just so many exciting things going on that he is now finally pulling those poisons that you're talking about that You know, has done so much damage, not just to this generation, Todd. but to many prior generations. So, still, a lot of the information is very sketchy, but here's what we can tell you: this all started at 12:01 p.m. Eastern Time today when at least one gunman opened fire inside the student union building there at Florida State University.

Now, we can tell you that classes have been canceled through Friday. We understand that the all-clear has not been Sounded.

So just keep that in mind. The all clear, still not issued at Florida State University. Law enforcement, they're still clearing all of the campus buildings. We understand President Trump has been alerted. The President making some brief comments there in the Oval Office, Governor Ron DeSantis as well.

But right now, there's just a lot of information out there. They're calling it an active scene. People are still sheltering in place on the university campus. By the way, this in Georgia Tech, their softball team was actually on the way to the campus during the shooting. But they're okay.

And again, all athletic events have been canceled. All home athletic events at Florida State University, they have been canceled through Sunday.

So there you go. Early reports of multiple people killed. We have not gotten any other confirmation from law enforcement. Maybe that information will come. Also, we understand at least one person is in custody.

There have been reports of possibly two shooters. We do not know. At this point. But that information coming from Associated Press. The shooter reported in the area of the student union.

And again, authorities have reportedly taken a suspect into custody. That information coming from the AP.

That has to be a heartbreaking situation, and especially for moms and dads waiting to find out if their students are. Are safe. According to WCTV, six victims hospitalized, five of those in serious condition, one in critical condition.

And now, buses are apparently packing students up and getting them off the campus. And there are just tons of law enforcement all over the place. Just really remarkable.
