The discussion revolves around President Trump's approach to the trade war with China, its impact on the beef industry, and the importance of American manufacturing. The conversation also touches on the conservative movement and the need for a strong economy.

So if you're wondering why you should shop Macy's lowest prices sale, well, the name pretty much says it all. It's our lowest prices for one weekend only. Starts tomorrow at Macy's. Savings off already reduced prices. Exclusions apply.

Well live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's favorite gun totem, Bible-clinging, deplorable American. See ya. That's right. I love this American ride. Todd starts.

Oh, yeah. No, I. I'm not gonna say, I'm not one of those people. I'm not one of those talk radio hosts. I'm not gonna be out there saying, I told you so.

You should have listened to me, America. What, not your heart being troubled? No, I'm not. I'm just not one of those guys, but. Hmm.

Ladies and gentlemen, um I told you so. Welcome to the Todd Starns radio program. Very happy to have you with us today. By the way, there was no Black Monday, no Black Tuesday. All is well.

Things are looking good. The foreign markets are all bouncing back. Everything's looking good. Dare I say, hunky dory when it comes to the stock market. And again, yesterday on this program, tried to just inject a little bit of common sense into the conversation because there were even a lot of conservative talk radio hosts that were throwing in the towel, that were saying Trump didn't know what he was doing, that Trump was off his rocker.

You've got a lot of Republicans up on Capitol Hill saying the same thing. And I was the lone voice crying in the wilderness. Don't worry. Yeah. Chill out America.

That's what I was trying to say yesterday. And I was catching a lot of grief on the socials. But Todd, but Todd, my 401k. No, you don't have anything to worry about. Your 401k is going to come back and it's going to come back bigger and better and stronger than ever before.

It's going to take a little bit of time, but don't worry. Just leave it be. Just leave it be. So, anyway, the good news here, folks, President Trump knows what he's talking about. Late yesterday, by the way, Benjamin and Yahoo.

Showed up at the White House and said, You know what, Mr. President, we're here for a deal. At this hour, the South Koreans got on board the first Spirit Airlines out of Seoul, South Korea, and they're boot scooting and boogieing over to America to try to work out a deal. Everybody is trying to work out a deal because they know something about Donald Trump. And this is what's fascinating about what's been happening really over the past two weeks now.

Everybody thought Donald Trump was going to back off, that Donald Trump would bow down to all the pressure coming from his own party. But Donald Trump is in the I don't give a hoot stage of his life. Donald Trump is doing what he believes is best. This is un very unusual in modern American politics that you get a politician like this. Because when the politicians start reading the the room, a lot of times they begin to waver on their Their deeply held values.

Donald Trump's not one of those guys. When you go back in time, 20, 30, 40 years. The Donald Trump that was on TV back 40 years ago is the same Donald Trump that we've got today. Everything he was saying when he was in his 30s, 40s, 50s, those are things that he still holds true today. You don't get that in modern American politics.

The first sign of trouble, the Republicans bolt for the door. Look at Senator Ted Cruz. I mean, this is insane. Oh, by the way, Wyatt Cox from the Nevada Talk Network just sent me an urgent text. Todd not even the South Koreans would fly Spirit.

Fair enough. Thank you for that update, Wyatt.

Okay.

So again, this is all great news for the American people. And you know who gets it? I think most of our audience, I think you guys get it. There are so many people out there who have been impacted by this trade war. And these are people that have been abandoned by both political parties.

Here's this guy's a cattle rancher, and he was on Fox News yesterday talking about how what Trump is doing is a game changer, especially for the beef industry. Who have you never been able to sell your product to?

Well, the European community has been a big market that we'd love to get to. And certainly, Australia is another one that sells lots of beef here in the United States, but we don't get to sell to them. How does this moment in time feel like a game changer for your industry?

Well, I think we're happy that the President finally singled us out and said that we do need to increase. The you know our beef sales to other countries, and that he's going to try and make an effort to do that.

So we're It'll be a great time for our industry if we can sell more and have a better market and higher prices. And he's not the only one. There was a guy named Chuck Rosha, and he was on CNN last night. Fascinating discussion. And this guy comes in and says: Look, I was a factory worker back in 1989, and he illustrates to the rich and powerful, the elites there at CNN, what life was really like back in the day, which wasn't that too terribly long ago.

I worked at a factory, went to factory in 1989. We made radio passenger tires for cars. I worked there with my dad, eight of my uncles, and 12 of my cousins. I was a union steward there. That plant now sets in China because you can import small radio passenger tires pretty cheap because of our failed trade policy in this Democrats' opinion.

Donald Trump will use that to say that we need to fight China. We need to bring those jobs back to America. Feel a little pain for a little bit, but I'm re-jiggering this whole thing to make it work for you. That's what he's betting on against the pain of what people are really gonna feel. And this is what will be determined in 18 months, to your point, Abby.

The American people will decide which one of these philosophies actually is true. That's it. That is it in a nutshell. I mean, how many of you out there across America Youngstown, Ohio, for example. A town deafs decimated.

By the trade wars. How many of you remember? Times like that. You folks in Atlanta, where there were huge automobile factories and plants in places like Doraville, a suburb of Atlanta. Yeah.

where you had all of this manufacturing. You had the car makers, all of the industry, the textiles. There were factories, and those factories were churning out American made products by American hands. You had all of these people out there, American citizens, that were getting good paying jobs.

Now, there was a time in America, and let's go back to the 80s. That was my jam. That was my generation. I'm a Gen Xer. And I remember when I started.

When I got my very first job, and here was the deal. I got my first job before I even could drive a car.

So my dad had to drive me to my job at Popeyes Fried Chicken and Biscuits. That was back when we had the polyester orange outfits and uniforms. That was Not a good look. For anybody. But it was a lot of fun.

And that was my first job. And I worked my way up to cashier, and then I was the chief biscuit maker by the time I became a junior in high school and got a 25 cent an hour race. Man, I was living large. But you know what was interesting about that experience? You see, back in that time when you actually, and this was right before all of the factories started shutting down and the jobs started going overseas, back in those days, the fast food industry was predominantly a young person's job.

That was your first step, dipping your toe into the job market.

So most of the people that were working at Popeyes and McDonald's. And we ran KFC out of town, but back then you had churches, fried chicken, you had all of these, and most of the employees were teenagers. And the reason why is because that was our first job. And the other reason why is because the adults were actually working either in management or assistant management jobs or they were down working at the plants or the oil refineries. But now, as a result of the trade war and the fact that you had a lot of wealthy, and keep in mind, the Republican Party at its core still embraces the Chamber of Commerce and still embraces the super rich.

And they don't give a rat's behind about all of you blue-collar folks out there, which is why Donald Trump pretty much hijacked the Republican Party to get himself elected and became a voice for the working man and the working woman. We call him a blue-collar billionaire on this program because of that. But this trade war has impacted not just the bottom line of this country, but it's impacted the culture of this country. Then, when you throw in COVID and you had the Democrats saying, you know what, shut down your small businesses and stay at home, and the government's going to take care of you.

Well, we all know how that worked out.

So I say good for you. Mr. President, Yeah. And let's see what happens here, folks. I believe you're going to have a lot of these countries, I think all of them, at the end of the day, including China.

Are going to come hat in hand to Donald Trump and say, let's work out a deal. Mm-hmm. But hear me on this. Donald Trump. He's not messing around, ladies and gentlemen.

He's playing hardball. It is his way or the highway. And I like that. A leader who is a man and a leader who is on a mission. And he is not going to be deterred from that.

At all. And you've got the Ted Cruises out there of the world and the Rand Paul saying, well, if well, if this continues, we're going to be in a deep recession. And if that happens, it's going to be a bloodbath for Republicans in the midterms.

Well, let me offer some advice for the Republicans out there. If you don't follow through and deliver on Trump's agenda, it is going to be a bloodbath for you. It is. You will be primaried. And there will be Republicans taking your place who are America first Republicans.

So, anyway, good job, Mr. President. Happy to see where things are going. There will be ups and downs, and folks, we're not going to cover it every single day on this program. I'll keep you updated on what I think is important here.

But the important message is this: Donald Trump has a plan. Let the man do his work. That's it. 901-260-5926 is our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.

You know, there's an interesting. uh story that came out earlier today. Regarding the uh the illegals and the the White House Is announcing that they're going to play. Hardball. Even further.

So here's the deal. There are illegals that, for whatever reason, have chosen not to self-deport. And President Trump, being a gracious man, Said, hey, look, we're going to give you a chance. to self-deport. You can go back to your home country.

And we'll call it a day. Yeah. But there are many illegals who are not doing that. And so now the administration coming out and saying, okay, here's the deal. We're going to start fining every illegal who refuses to self-deport.

You're going to be fined $998 a day. And by the way, we're also going to seize your property.

So, the administration coming out earlier today with that. With that ruling. And I'm glad to see this. Look, this law has actually been on the book since 1996 during William Jefferson Clinton's administration. And It has not been enforced.

It was never enforced until Trump came into office in the first term. Then Biden rescinds the rule, and now Trump is back and large in charge, and we're going to start deporting these folks one way or the other.

So here's the deal: you can either get out of town right now. Or we're going to be emptying out your bank accounts.

Now people are saying, Oh, this is just unfair. What about little Esposito who just came to America to pick our to pick our lettuce? What about poor little Esposito?

Well, he better pick a lot more lettuce, because he's got nine hundred and ninety eight dollars in fines to pay for. Again, the way I see it, it's black and white, ladies and gentlemen. You're here legally, gotta go. Want to come here legally? There's a way to do it, and we wish you nothing but the best.

But right now, gotta go. See ya. All right, we do have to go, by the way, and gotta take a break. Pay some bills here at 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Starge Show.

Hey, folks, I want to remind you that we are right in the beginning stage of our pre-launch, our pre-orders for my brand new book. It's coming out in June. It's called Star-Spangled Blessings: Devotions for Patriots. This was an exciting book to write, and we do a deep dive into how God used some amazing individuals to advance his work in this country. And it's fascinating when you see some of the stories.

A lot of them have never really been told before. And it was fun to be able to share those stories with you from FDR, JFK. You say, wait, what? God used, yeah, he sure did. As a matter of fact, God used a secular newspaper publisher to advance the ministry of Billy Graham.

So all sorts of wonderful stories that are in this book. And it's a devotion book, so you can read a page a day, or you can read a chapter a day. I want you to pre-order a copy right now, and we need your help to do that. And you can go to Amazon, Barnes Noble, wherever you buy your books, and you can pre-order multiple copies of Star Spangled. Spangled Blessings Devotions for Patriots, and it's especially a good book for your kids to read, especially if you have a high schooler.

So, again, Star Spangled Blessings. We are getting ready to announce our big book tour. We're going to be doing a tour this summer, and we'll be coming to a number of towns and communities across the country.

So, that's going to be a lot of fun. All right, let's get to the phone lines here. Winston-Salem, North Carolina, MC is listening to us on WSJS. Hi, MC. What's on your mind today?

A lot of things, but just wondering, are you going to read your own book so that those of us who are sight impaired can enjoy it in your voice? Yes, as a matter of fact, I'll be doing that this week. I've got to, we're going to be using the studio here to record the audio version, so it'll be available hardcover, Kindle, and also audio. A couple of things about your opening. I'm a little bit older than you, but I lived kind of the same thing where you went to work when you were fourteen.

I walked to work. My parents didn't take me. They would have, I guess. But I was able to walk to work in Nashville. And uh You know, you just be pa I want to urge patience in the markets.

It's a long game. If you want to play a short game, Go down the river from where you are or across the river. If you know what I'm saying. But, uh, you know, it's like play the dice or the or the fortune wheel. which I don't recommend.

But the the tire let me I want to make one point from right there in your state of Tennessee. The tire plant in Union City is gone. And then across the border in Murray, Kentucky, the tire plant is gone.

Well, what we got, we got a hand-cooped tire plant in Clarksville. Put together by You know, the ones that make bad deals in trade, like Gore, Bredison. I mean, these are old names to people, and it's going over old stuff. That's the way it works. For years, we were in a trade war we didn't even know was going on.

Well, we did. You're absolutely right. And no one could really understand it. Why are all of these factories, these companies shutting down and taking their business in some cases across our southern border? And Donald Trump, I think, has done really a great job of explaining: look, this is not about the stock market.

This is about the economy. And this is about making sure that America is self-sufficient again. And right now, we're just not. And I hope I live long enough to see. Uh The fruits of it, and I'm very hopeful that we'll just be patient, it will work out, and we stand together.

We must stand together. I think someone said that a long time ago. Thank you for the time. MC, thank you. And again, folks, yeah, we will have the audio version of the book.

The book will officially be in stores on June 17th, but our publisher likes to get the pre-orders going. And the reason why is last my last book that came out, we literally, and this was insane, the book sold out on the first day.

So they're trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

So they want to get as many pre-orders in as possible. All right, we got to take a quick break here, folks. We've got to talk about this wolf that is making national headlines. I have something to say about that. We'll be right back.

All right, welcome back, everybody. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show.

So, everybody's talking about this wolf that has apparently been, for lack of a better term, resurrected. It had been extinct, and now it is not extinct. And people are going bonkers over all of this. And I'm curious to hear your thoughts. This is from the New York Times.

Scientists revived the dire wolf, or something close to it. Dire wolves were made famous by Game of Thrones. Are those the giant? Those are sort of like the giant, like beast animals. That's.

Very disturbing. These things are huge. I was not I did not watch Game of Thrones, but my understanding is they play a very big role in the T V series. Dylan, are you you're shaking your head. You watch them.

I watch them. They're fantastic. Why are they fantastic? They do play a main part in the story because the main family of Game of Thrones sort of adopt these wolves. and they become like lifelong companions.

And they actually help them in battle.

So they're like battle wolves almost.

So, according to the New York Times, these wolves went extinct some 13,000 years ago.

Now, I am a big Ken Ham answers in Genesis guy.

So I buy into the theory that the Earth is really only a few thousand years old. I'm not buying into the 13,000-year-old. I just, that's just, that's just me. Regardless of how old these critters are. The the reality is they went extinct.

For whatever reason, the The wolves went extinct. And so now there's a company called Colossal Biosciences, and they have. Apparently, been able to extract DNA from what is it, a tooth? And they were able to create or manufacture this. modern version of the Dire Wolf.

And everybody's like, oh, these are cute, little cuddly, little furry, little balls of love. And I think we even have some audio of the, we don't have the audio of the wolves howling. All right.

Well, anyway, you have to take my word for it. I can howl. It's a lovable little howl. That's what it sounds like. Yeah, pretty good howl.

But here's my concern: is that yes, they're cute and lovable and furry, but then when you're not looking, all of a sudden their mouth opens up like three feet wide and they're eating you. Yeah, I don't, I got a problem with that. Yeah. So a lot of people are just really infatuated by these wolves. And I just have one question.

Do we really want to revive something that has the word dire in the name of it? That usually doesn't bode well. I mean, what's gonna I mean, what let's just say that they are, you know, they are de-extinct, so they have now resurrected these wolves, these scientists. Who's to say that they're not going to go forth and multiply and then one day, you know, take over the earth? Right now they have three healthy wolves.

Two males, one female. Romulus and Remus. For those of you studying Roman history, you'll understand the reference there. And another one called Khalisi. I don't get that one.

And they do have traits of the dire wolves. Which for one thing they are big, they have dense coats, normally not found in the wolves, and they're big. They're big. Beth Shapiro is the Chief Scientific Officer of Colossal. describing the wolf pups as the first successful case of de extinction.

Yeah. The animals will remain in captivity, but the technology could potentially help conserve species that have not yet gone extinct. including the endangered Red Wolf. By the way. That's not all.

According to, and I was listening to Dieter on your morning show, and my understanding is they have actually recovered an intact cell from the frozen carcass. Of a woolly mammoth. Those are like the big I think they have one of them. They're furry elephants with the big tusks. And I know they look cool, but I'm not sure I want to see one wandering through Memphis, Tennessee.

So what are they gonna are they going so they're according to the Times, they say that the cell could be thawed and used to create a woolly mammoth clone.

So, you know where all of this is going. As soon as I heard about this, there were two words that came to mind. Jurassic Park. Do you real I mean look Is it possible that they might be able to extract some sort of DNA from a, I don't know, a dinosaur fossil? And the next thing you know, we've got Jurassic Park right here in the good old US of A.

I mean, but how cool would that be, Todd? We're living pre-flood era. Where you have the flying dinosaurs, you've got the T-Rex. You've got woolly mammoths, what is it, the saber-toothed tigers roaming around? You don't want to live in that world?

No, and you know what? Because we are at the top of the food chain right now. Yes, humans are at the top of the food chain. And if you have a T-Rex wandering around, we're dinner. We're somebody's dinner.

And I'm telling you, there's a T-Rex coming through Memphis, Tennessee. They took one look at me, and they're thinking, Prime rip, baby, I want some pork butt. That's what the T Rex is saying. And you're going to the bottom of the food chain. Lickety split.

You better believe it. I just I don't know. It's almost as if mankind has decided that we are going to play God. And that concerns me. You know, do we really know what we are about to unleash on society?

Unleash the beast, Todd. I mean, that's what they're doing. It could be the Kraken. I mean, this could be the Kraken. It reminds me of Frankenstein's monster.

Like you create the monster and then the monster Unleashes all hell on everybody. And who knows, maybe these dire wolves could be the future, you know. I I don't know. But it's a pretty neat thing. They're basically doing IVF.

Like the whole IVF thing where they're implanting an embryo. What they did is they were actually able to take. An DNA extract from the bone that you mentioned, and then a skull from a gray wolf, which is the closest, it's like the cousin. This is a living cousin to these dire wolves, and they were able to plant that then in a dog.

So it was a dog that was in I guess it planted this embryo in it and gave life to the three pups. And so they're using kind of like IVF. On these dogs to give us these rare, extinct, dire wolves. You know, this is fascinating from the New York Times article here.

So they found the DNA, and this is so ludicrous. They're saying that it was found in a 13,000-year-old tooth from Ohio and a 72,000-year-old skull from Idaho. And again, according to Ken Hammond answers in Genesis, and I don't want to get into how old is the earth, but he believes the earth is only several thousand years old. And I ascribe to that as well. But again, there's a reason why these critters went extinct.

And I don't know if we need to be bringing back the Stegosaurus or the raptors? What are the ones? What are the small dinosaurs? Oh, my gosh. Those terrify me.

You can make friends with him like in Jurassic Park. I don't think you can. Louis, is that his name? It's supper. We are supper to those people.

That's all I'm trying to say here. I'm just trying to preserve mankind. That's all I'm trying to do here. And the same thing with AI. Have you not seen Terminator?

Don't we know? We have a pretty good idea of where all of this is going. We're either going to be done in by robots Yeah. Dinosaurs Or puppies. Yes, puppies, but but they're like they're so cute.

I'm sorry, I would adopt one at Memphis Animal Services. If I could get my hand on one of these dire wolves' puppies, I'm taking all three of them. I think all the animals are dying over there, though. You know the only way to test if they're real dire wolves, right? How?

You gotta put them in war. Oh, we'll ship them over to Ukraine. Is that what you're saying? Put them beside a guy in a sword and a shield. I guess that's better than sending marathons over there.

Yeah. Send the wolves. Oh, my goodness. All right, ladies and gentlemen, your take on this. is should we be in the business of cloning and reviving extinct species?

Yeah. You know, Ken Ham said it, because I was always wondering this, why did the dinosaurs go extinct? Why, you know, we have other critters that are going extinct, and Ken Ham says this is all a result of Adam and Eve and the original sin. And before then, there was no death. Everybody was happy.

Everybody was, I don't know, whatever the dinosaurs were doing. And then as soon as Adam and Eve ate from the fruit of the forbidden tree, all you know what breaks loose. And now the dinosaurs kick the bucket.

So that's that. Why couldn't they fit on the ark, though? Because That seems just discriminatory to leave the arc to leave off the ark the dinosaurs. And the woolly mammoths. Why did they have to go?

Because I like a furry elephant, if I'm being completely honest with you. I suspect there was some sort of a weight limitation that, and Noah probably, like me, understood that if you put T-Rex on the ark, nobody's going to be left. I'm just saying. Yeah. They're not stupid.

All right, we've got to take a break here. Noah was not stupid. That is right. We can confirm Noah was a very brilliant man. 901-260-5926.

That's 901-260-5926. I don't know. Maybe you could fight him off with the gopher wood. I don't know. We'll be right back.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the show. Jasmine Crockett, the Democrat from Texas the Faux Ghetto Gal is back in the news. Trucking and driving the song. I get it every time I come back. Yeah, Jasmine Crockett.

I just. I just, she's the gift that keeps on giving.

So, this is a woman who becomes more ghetto-like every single day. I've never seen anything like it. She is one of the most well-educated women in America, but she would rather behave like she was on sort of some sort of a Tyler Perry movie, or maybe she was co-starring in a rap or, dare I say, hip-hop video. May I just ask a question here, gentlemen? And Dylan, you're the music expert.

I mean, you study this stuff in school. Wh what's the difference between rap and hip hop? Rap originated from hip-hop. Oh, I see.

So it's sort of like a sequel. Yeah. It was birthed from. Yeah. Which came from jazz.

Is that I like jazz and I liked the, you know, the hip-hop back in my day. was was pre you know you could understand what everybody was saying And it did not involve guns or doing inappropriate things to women. No. Just want to point that out. It was family-friendly, the hip-hop world.

All right.

Well, thank you for that. I've always wondered. Anyway, Jasmine Crockett, back in the headlines, here's what she has to say about the issue. She was explaining why we need the illegals. There's a reason why we cannot and we must not deport the illegals.

Here's the reason why.

So I had to go around the country and educate people about What immigrants do for this country, or the fact that we are a country of immigrants. Right, right. The fact is, ain't none of y'all trying to go and farm right now.

Okay, so I'm live. Raise your raise your hands. Yeah. You mad! You're not.

We done picking cotton. We are. You can't pay us enough to find a plantation. I know you have. We done picking cotton.

So that was Jasmine Crockett at a Baptist church.

So she's a preacherette.

So she was up there behind the pulpit, and she was announcing that the reason why, the reason why we need illegals is because we're done picking cotton, and the illegals got to be working in the fields. That's what Jasmine Crockett thinks about the illegals.

Now, a couple of thoughts here. This woman's never picked cotton in her life. Yeah. I guarantee nobody in that room, that was a Baptist church in Connecticut, nobody in that room has picked cotton. But the idea That Jasmine Crockett is out there, and in her mind, the only use of the illegals is to be like modern-day slaves.

I dunno. Is she going to have a house illegal? I don't know. You got the field illegals? What is this woman thinking?

The racism spewing from this woman's mouth is just unbelievable. But you gotta love it. Because she's the leader of the Democrat Party. And the leader of the Democrat Party believes the only reason for illegals to stay in America is to be slaves. That is so patently offensive and yet somewhat hilarious.

Because this is the mindset of the Democrat Party. These people are have completely discombobulated themselves. And it's a beautiful thing.

So anyway, we'll see what Jasmine Crockett has to say today. But as it now stands, Jasmine Crockett has announced to America that, quote, black folk, we are done picking cotton. May I just say something here? That folks haven't picked cotton for generations. They have machines that actually do that, by the way.

Machines. Unbelievable, these people. 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-260. 5926.

So, another, speaking of Rhodes College, there's another big controversy, and we're going to get into this later in the show. Amy Coney Barrett. The Supreme Court Justice. It looks like she's she's a leftist. And it's not good.

Yeah. As a matter of fact, Amy Coney Barrett. Is has probably always been a liberal. And we're going to play some audio. We have some audio from her confirmation hearing.

And it's really puzzling why this seemed to slip by everybody because she let slip something during the confirmation hearings. That should have given all of us pause, and quite frankly, Trump should have pulled her nomination. But for whatever reason, the Republicans never can get their picks right on the Supreme Court. And that goes all the way back to Dwight Eisenhower. Eisenhower said his two greatest mistakes in his presidency were sitting on the Supreme Court.

Reagan, the same way. There are a lot of conservative women, by the way, who say that the problem is we should not be putting. Women on the Supreme Court. I'm not making this up. And this argument is actually coming from women.

who say that People like Amy Coney Barrett are making their decisions based on emotion rather than the law. And of course, this all stems from yesterday's ruling where the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision sided with President Trump and said, yeah, the President does have the right. to use the enemy aliens act to deport violent illegal aliens. But Barrett sided with the women on the court.

So it was guys versus gals up on the Supreme Court. But a lot of people are very concerned now because it's not just Barrett. At least this go around John Roberts sided with the men because he was using the thought process and not his emotions. But the concern is that John Roberts has been siding with the Liberals as well.

So it could very well be, ladies and gentlemen, that we actually do not well, we certainly don't have a super majority of conservatives and constitutionalists on the bench. President Trump, if he is given the opportunity, is going to have to be extremely careful with this next pick. And let me say, there was a big push for the President to engage in a DEI hire for the Supreme Court, which is why he went with a woman. We can't do that again. We've got to make sure that we have the best and the brightest.

All right, folks, hang tight. We're going to get to your calls. 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Star Show. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's common sense conservative commentary from Todd Starr.

That's right! I love this American Well, well, well, imagine my surprise, ladies and gentlemen. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, they call her Sandy back in her high school days. Sandy has been doing a nationwide tour with Bernie Sanders. The socialist who owns multiple mansions around the nation.

They've been doing a fight oligarchy event. They have these huge rallies, and they're fighting against the power, fighting down with the rich man. And it turns out that somebody was on a flight with AOC and made a very interesting observation that AOC is actually flying first class to go to these Fifey oligarchy events. One of the airline passengers said she's fighting the system with one first-class mimosa at a time. You gotta love it.

All right, welcome to the Todd Stearns Radio Program. Hour two of the big show underway. We've been following a disturbing story out of Colorado. And the Democrats there control the state house, and it is not good for moms and dads. They have just passed some legislation in the House, the State House, that would basically take your child away from you.

If you're in a custody battle and you've got a child who identifies as transgender, and you don't affirm that child's transgender. Transgenderism, then you could lose custody.

So it's been a big, big fight. I want you to take a listen to this piece of audio. Cut 11, please. We'd heard from multiple witnesses that this bill has been worked on for over a year. I will say I learned about this bill yesterday.

It was introduced Friday evening. I really am curious about how much stakeholdering went on both sides of the issue and if parent groups that are not a part of the LGBT community, if they were involved. A well-stakeholdered bill does not need to be discussed with hate groups. And we don't ask someone passing civil rights legislation to go ask the KKK their opinion. But I agree.

There's no reason to go to the table with people who are echoing the hateful rhetoric going around about the trans community. All right, so that is State Representative Jarvis Caldwell, a Republican, and he is just enraged over all of this. They're calling people opposed to the legislation Nazis, also likening folks to the KKK. Take a listen. The Nazis actively sought the eradication of individuals and ideas that deviated from their ideal white, cisgender, and heterosexual masculinity.

This led by the erasure of trans identities by targeting the Institute for Sexual Research in Berlin, the first trans clinic. These historic acts of erasure weren't isolated incidents. They were a blueprint. for the very tactics we see deployed against the trans people today.

Well, let's go to our Old Glory Bank newsmaker line. We're proud to have State Representative Jarvis Caldwell with us from Colorado. mister Caldwell, happy to have you on the program today. Hey, Todd, thanks so much for having me covering this issue. This is just really shocking to me that the parents could find themselves in a position where they could actually lose their kids or at least lose custody of their kids.

Yeah, absolutely.

So House Bill 25-1312, like you said in the beginning there, I mean, what it says is in a custody dispute situation, the parent who doesn't affirm the gender delusions of their child is Basically, committing child abuse, and it actually says child abuse in the bill, and then that means that the parent who affirms. the gender identity crisis. Is the one who gets the custody of the child. And as you and I had talked about before, the thing that drives me crazy is it's their. Gender ideology stuff.

It's that stuff that they're pushing in commercials and kids' movies, pushing it in our schools. They're pushing that stuff on our kids. And then, when we don't affirm those delusions, they're saying they're going to take our kids from us. And I'm not okay with that. I'm curious here about the numbers.

In years past, this was always a small this is a minority of the Democrats. Do they have the numbers to actually get this through the Senate and to the governor's desk?

Well, that's we're bringing attention to it now because the Senate While the Democrats do control the Senate, they're a little bit more, I guess you could say, less radical than the Colorado House is right now. I mean, some of the members in the Colorado House, I think we have five or six members who are endorsed by the Democrat Socialists of America, the DSA, including the bill sponsor, Lorraine Garcia, who makes AOC look moderate. And so it flew through the House pretty much on party lines, I think, except for one Democrat. But I don't see it getting stopped in the Senate.

So it's going to go to the desk of Colorado Governor Jared Polis, who's a Democrat also, who probably has presidential ambitions.

So he's going to have a very big decision to make if it gets on his desk. It just seems to me, and maybe I'm off base by this description. It just seems very Orwellian to me. Yeah, absolutely.

It is. And it goes further than that. That's just Section 2 of the bill. I mean, it's nine sections. It's all bad.

Section four talks about name changes in schools. Your kid can go to school and change their name without any parental consent or even knowledge. and you would never know.

So your little Johnny goes to school, they're called little Sally by the teachers, and when they come home, they're still little Johnny. And I ran an amendment on that part of the bill that said you have to get parental consent if a name is going to be changed. And the Democrats killed that amendment. And you know, as a father of two, Mm-hmm. I'm gonna dial back my language here.

That gets under my skin. Because I named my children, their names have a meaning, and for you to say that you can just change my kid's name without me even knowing about it, that's not right. And I don't think Colorado citizens agree with that. Are there penalties attached?

So, say, for example, you misgender someone or use their so-called dead name, would there be a penalty attached? Yeah, so in Section 8 of the bill, it actually talks about the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, and it applies it to. what they call places of public accommodation, which if you look at the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, that means basically everywhere outside your home, so any businesses, just anywhere in the public sphere, if you misgender or dead name someone, then you are discriminating against them and then you could be held civilly liable. This is insanity. Again, it's the idea that you've got state lawmakers and a majority of them willing to go along with something.

I mean, it really does show you how powerful this LGBT activist mob is. Right, and it's such a small percentage of the population. And but they have a lot of power here at the Capitol. I mean, they have lobbyists here every single day. They're very good about bringing out children to testify on these bills.

And I sat through this House Bill 1312 hearing for almost 12 hours. And my heart broke as I saw these kids come up here and testify. The amount of times I heard the word. suicidal use. Um child abuse.

The amount of scars I saw on kids' arms when they were coming here and testifying. I mean, our kids are not okay right now. They're having a mental health crisis, and I think pushing this gender identity stuff on them is making it even worse, even though what the Democrats are telling us is that, no, we need to push this stuff because that actually makes the issue better. It actually solves the issue. And I think they're completely wrong about that.

No, I'm with you. And I like how you describe this. I mean, it really is a mental health crisis. It certainly seems to be impacting girls probably more so than boys. Are there any efforts, are there any Democrats out there who understand that this is a mental health issue?

I mean, it doesn't seem that way. When you figure there's 43 Democrats in the House of Representatives in Colorado, and I think 42 of them voted in favor of it. You know, I think they're scared of the base. Because the same base that supports this kind of stuff is the same base that turns out for AOC and Bernie Sander events, which just had one literally across the street from the Colorado Capitol. When AOC and Bernie came here to Denver a week or two ago.

And I think they're scared of that base. And so even if they have kids themselves and they don't believe in this. I think they're just scared. All right.

Well, we're going to pay close attention to this, and I think every person in the nation should as well, Representative Caldwell, because quite frankly, if you've got a Democrat controlled statehouse, this could be coming to your state. Absolutely. We're laying out the road map right here in Colorado, unfortunately. All right.

Well, we certainly appreciate you coming on the show today. State Representative Jarvis Caldwell, Republican from the Colorado State House. Thank you again. Thank you, sir. Wow.

This is just shocking.

So, not only could you lose custody of your children if you misgender or dead name them, by the way, they say that would be a form of child abuse. Folks, the fight is not over. We are right in the thick of it, and Donald Trump is fighting tooth and nail on the federal level to undo all of this radical ideology. But it's going to take some time. And this, again, is a classic example of why you need to pay very close attention to what's happening in your state house.

You've got to make sure you are electing rock-solid Republicans to the state capitol. Otherwise, you're going to get this kind of nonsense. Just insane. All right, real quick, I want to go to the phones before we take a break here. Jeff from North Carolina has been holding on for a while.

Jeff, what is on your mind today? First, Todd, thank you for taking my call, and thank you for what you and your team do for the United States of America on your program. We really appreciate it. Thank you. But what Yes, sir.

I wanted to get back to the animal thing just for a moment. I think possibly any animals that were a result of amalgamation would not have gotten on the ark because they weren't a creation of God.

So there's no amalgamation as you you know what that is, but mixing uh different types of animals. And the other thing is, for large animals that would be just too big to get on the ark, I would say they just took. Maybe uh elephants or maybe uh giraffes or or what So if you go to the Yeah. And uh It's the uh re rebuild of Noah's Ark according to the biblical description in Genesis. And you can see that they have little baby creatures there and they're and they're not uh They were never live animals.

They were all done with fabrics and threads and things like that so they didn't use any type of real creatures for those creatures on that earth. But I think in in this this new wolf thing that's getting close to amalgamation again. And I think it will happen again with uh The people's experiments and science and genetics and that kind of thing.

So Just expect it, but That's just my thoughts on the on the big animals. Jeff, have you been to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky? I'm just what was your reaction when you first saw that giant arc?

Well, I'm a boat builder, a wooden boat builder, and so I was just I just couldn't wait to get there and I was just Just amazed at the work these guys and women, probably men and women both did. to build this thing. And it's just fascinating to see the the care that they I mean, they you know, they have the you know, the the the Noah and his family on there and they had in their quarters and how the the food system that they had to have had and I mean, it's fascinating. Your imagination. Yeah, have you been there?

I have. And Ken Ham is a good friend. And Ben, let's try to get Ken on the show. I want him to weigh in on these wolves from Game of Thrones. It is a wonderful place, and it's just really breathtaking.

The entire project, as a matter of fact, one of my former staffers moved to Branson, and that staffer is going to be heading up a lot of the technology and a new theater they're building out there.

So it's exciting to see the growth of that great ministry that Kim Han, Creation. What is it? It's Answers in Genesis, but there are several other things. You have the Creation Museum, and then you have the Ark Encounter.

So great stuff. Jeff, thank you for that call, and thank you for the kind words. We do need to take a break, though. 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926.

You know, we have been celebrating some incredible news. Newsmax has now become a news giant listed on the New York Stock Exchange. I was there. What an amazing day. Over 40 million Americans regularly tune to Newsmax for the news they need to know, and they're turning into the Newsmax channel on all major cable systems.

They watch Newsmax 2, my show, on all streaming platforms. They go online to Newsmax.com for breaking headlines. Millions more have downloaded the free Newsmax app on their smartphone and home TV. Reuters says Newsmax is one of the top news brands in America. Even President Trump says Newsmax is terrific and he's watching.

Tens of millions of Americans like you have made the switch to Newsmax for the news they can trust.

So make the switch today. You won't ever look back. Um All right, welcome back to the Todd Stearns Radio Show. Dylan, I know you just haven't been well traveled, but you just got back from your honeymoon a little while ago, and I know you're off to another foreign adventure soon. But you took, was this your first airplane ride when you went down to the honeymoon?

Yes, it was. What was that experience? First of all, I'm shocked because you're in your mid-20s, right? I'm 26. Wow, all right.

Well, I'm curious when you went through the TSA, what was that experience like for you? Uh, not as bad as I've heard it could be. It was very quick and easy. They just did the little scan thing, and then I had to do the arms up. You know, and you hop into the machine, they scan, like, your body, I guess, and everything.

So that was super easy.

So they scanned your body. Yeah. Did you feel violated at all? No. Did you feel like you were being, you know, turned Gay by any chance?

Yeah. Can't say that that happened. I don't mean to ask these probing questions here, but there is an interesting podcast out there. There is a. A pastor is in Tennessee, who says that he doesn't Like the TSA scanners, and there's a reason why.

And I want you to listen to what he had to say. What was the Constitution when the Patriot Act was passed? Right, I mean, give me a break. Like, I had to be molested at the airport to go to Florida, right? Just to get on an airplane because I'm not going to go through the gay beam machine.

I didn't let CJ do it. I wouldn't let him do it. Said, you're getting patted down too, buddy. I don't want them turning you gay. It appears having a guy touch you all over the place is.

On its face seems worse. But you don't really know what's going on, what those things are doing to you. Where the imaging goes, or what they're doing. Or, yeah, because it's like, yeah, like, yeah, who they can just take a picture of me sort of like, no. Virtual adrenochrome system back there.

Yeah, maybe. Maybe.

So.

So, um Yeah.

So I guess that's why there are so many gay people now. That could explain the flight attendant situation. I'm just saying. Um Yeah.

So here's what I find fascinating, though, about this pastor. He says it's less gay to have a grown man pat you down and touch your private parts. That's less gay than actual allowing the machine to scan you, which apparently will turn you gay. He said the gay beam. Is that what Is that what it is?

I've always wondered. I've always wondered. You see, this is why, and this is why I have TSA precheck, so I'm still straight, because I don't have to go through the gay beam. I just get to go through just. Move on through, Mr.

Starnes. Not that many people are as lucky as you, Todd. Wow, I may be a minority on the M plane these days. But that would explain some of the flight crew situations. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm just saying. All right.

Gotta take a break. I will say this. They did a pat down one time, and I was singing the high parts of Amazing Grace.

So there you go. We'll be right back, America. And welcome back. This is the Todd Stearns Radio Show.

So Kevin O'Leary. I love this guy, and he's just telling it like it is on CNN. All of these elderly people that are out there protesting, the cottage cheese and prune juice crowd, they're out there vandalizing Teslas. They're doing all sorts of, causing all sorts of mayhem. And here's what Kevin O'Leary had to say about that: the criminal.

I don't think we have to talk about it in any other context. And all those cars have cameras in them, and those dealerships have cameras. You're beyond being stupid when you do that. You're going to go to jail and you now have a government that just got their mandate. They can't wait to find idiots that do this.

You're going to spend five to twenty years in prison. If they get them on terrorism, which I think is a stretch, they will have no parole. No shortened sentence. They'll rot in hell in prison for 20 years. And frankly, as far as I'm concerned, that's okay.

Yeah, I'm with him. That's okay with me as well. We've got to start sending some hardcore messages to these people. I mean, this is insanity, what's happening out there. And you literally have a generation of young people that think it's perfectly okay.

It's okay to go out there and do all this vandalizing. It's okay to blow up Tesla dealerships because it's all for the greater good. Oh, oh, oh, I've got to play this audio. This is Byron Donalds. He's running for governor of Florida.

And man, I love this. He confronted a protester on the street, cut four. Amen. Because I was just in DC on Monday because you're in state visibility. And I would like you, as a member of Congress, to rise up and support LGBTQ plus youth and stop this f ⁇ ing.

Insane attack. An hour. Children, you know who they are. Number one. Number one.

Of course, you're not because you're a fascist. You're a trace law. Show me. He crossed. Do you want me to agree with you?

What are you talking about, ma'am? Got the bounce. I'm a constitution. I believe in freedom and liberty for everybody. I believe in the U.S.

Constitution. Good for you, Byron Donalds. I appreciate the fact that he's not backing down. That's the way you have to deal with these leftists. But I'm just curious, and I don't know if you've noticed this in your neighborhoods, your communities, but have you noticed that the leftists are getting.

More violent. It used to be a subset, but now it's almost as if A majority of liberals Think it's okay to go out there and cause harm to people.

Now, there is an amazing study that was just released. And Fox News has the piece. And I'm just I'm not surprised by this, but it is incredibly troubling. Assassination culture is what they're calling it, and it is spreading. According to a new survey, 48% of liberals say it would be somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk.

And get this: 55% of liberals say the same thing about Donald Trump. A majority of liberals believe it is okay to assassinate Donald J. Trump. As a matter of fact, right now in California, activists are naming ballot measures after Luigi Mangioni, who is the who is the the kid who gunned down the the insurance, the health insurance executive in New York City on Sixth Avenue. This is This is the culmination of Maxine Waters' dream.

When she told the mob to absolutely harass Trump supporters, to get in their faces at grocery stores and supermarkets and gas stations. When Barack Hussein Obama told a crowd in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, to when it comes to the Republicans, if they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. When Eric Holder, the former Attorney General of these United States, said, when they go low, we go lower. According to the report from the Network Contagion Research Institute, this is from Fox News. Jasmine Baer is the author of the story.

They found a growing number of people willing to justify and even applaud killing in the name of politics and a warped sense of social justice. The chilling change appears to have accelerated in recent months. Joel Finkelstein is the lead author of the report telling Fox News: What was formerly taboo culturally has become acceptable. we are seeing a clear shift, glorification, increased attempts and changing norms all converging into what we define as assassination culture. The study traces the cultural shift back to the assassination of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson by Luigi Mangioni.

That was in December of last year. What followed, according to researchers, was a viral wave of memes that turned Mangioni into a folk hero. We saw the same thing with the Sarnea brother. The one who wasn't run over and dragged through the streets in Boston. Remember the Boston Marathon bombing?

Rolling Stone, like they idolize this guy, a mass murderer. According to the study, the memes have sparked copycat behavior targeting other figures associated with wealth and conservative politics. Finkelstein said it's not just Luigi anymore. We're seeing an expansion. Trump, Musk, others now being openly discussed as legitimate targets Often cloaked in meme culture and gamified online dialogue.

Are you surprised by this? The NCRI conducted a nationally representative survey of more than 1,200 U.S. adults, and the findings were stark.

Some 38% said it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Trump. 31% said the same thing about Musk when counting only the left-leaning respondents, all right, that's everybody. But when you pull out the left-leaning respondents, 55% say it's okay to kill Trump, 48% it's okay to kill Elon Musk. The report states these are not isolated opinions, they are part of a tightly connected belief system linked to what we call left-wing authoritarianism. Trump represents the perfect target for assassination culture.

He's powerful, he's rich, he's provocative. That puts him on the highest shelf for those who glorify political violence. You understand the Democrats created this. They created this environment. And it started well it started well before Trump became president the first time.

Right? This started when Trump announced his campaign. And we saw the attacks coming and it's only gotten worse. And the Democrats refuse to do anything about it. As a matter of fact, the Democrats want this to happen.

The Democrats are out there. They want to pour gasoline onto the fire. And we saw it with George Floyd, the George Floyd riots. Just unbelievable. And this is why you have all of these people out there.

And they're all paid protesters at these Tesla dealerships. This is a paid militia, is what this is. These are not law-abiding, peaceful protesters. This is a very dangerous paid militia, and they want to kill Trump. They want to kill Elon Musk.

That's who these people really are. And they're not even being shy about it. They're more than willing to tell you: yeah, this is what we want to have happen. That's why you have people out there saying the killing of the United Healthcare Executive was justified. And, ladies and gentlemen, when you go back and you study your Marxist history, and you go back and study the rise of communism.

You make a very stunning Discovery. That they came after the wealthy. They slaughtered the wealthy. The Super Rich. They shut him out.

And shut him down. and sent them to their graves. That's what I see. fomenting here among the left. It's a very dangerous time in America right now, and you got to watch your six, everybody.

You got to. Especially if you wear a MAGA hat in public or if you've got a Trump bumper sticker or you drive a Tesla or a Cybertruck. All right, got to take a break here. 901-260-5926, our telephone number, that's 901-2600-666. two six zero four 5926.

She and Jonathan Allen wrote this book that everybody's talking about, Fight Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House. Crazy stories, insider info about how mentally incapacitated Joe Biden was.

So that's coming up in the next hour of the program. Right now, though, I want to go to our Old Glory Bank Newsmaker line. Say hello to Congressman Marlon Stutzman from Indiana's 3rd District, also a member of the House Budget Committee. Congressman, hope you're doing well today. Hey, great to be with you this afternoon, Todd.

Thanks for having me on.

Well, look, the breaking news just moments ago, President Trump just throwing down the hammer on China, and now the latest information is those tariffs could be over 100 percent by the end of the day.

Okay.

Well, I think President Trump has shown not only the United States, us as Americans, but also the rest of the world. He's not messing around. And you know what, if you're going to do this, you have to be committed to doing it, and he is. And it this needs to happen. One of the things that I really think is important here for all of us to remember, this is a fight against globalization.

I mean, that's what's the global elites are the ones panicking the most right now because this disrupts their efforts for the last several decades and it's time somebody Like President Trump and what he's doing is looking out for the American for American manufacturing for the American small business. For those who are in agriculture, in any other industry, technology included. This is going to happen. We want it to happen here rather than happening in other parts of the world. But we can have good allies that are going to be good trading partners.

And Trump is sending that message loud and clear. Yep. And the latest news, ladies and gentlemen, the White House announcing Trump will be slapping a 104 percent tariff on China tonight as a result of their retaliatory measures. You know, Congressman, when you talk to the cattle industry, you talk to the shrimping industry, you talk to steel workers, they all get it. I mean, they see that these tariffs have been so unfair and have really been hurting and, in some cases, putting Americans out of business.

Yeah, no, you know, this is an example that I personally had as a private businessman. We had a particular beef product that we were trying to sell to Some restaurants.

Well, they were buying Australian beef. And I just remember going back to the office and kept crunching the numbers like, How can we not compete or beat the Australian beef market. And it's because of their currency difference. They've got a huge advantage on currency. And they also ban American beef.

So I think that's just a really good example to say, hey, look, you know what, we're friends with the Australians. I stopped taking advantage of our Circumstances, just because we had mad cow disease 20 years ago is not an excuse to ban American beef into Australia. Maybe we don't even sell a lot of beef to Australia because we're such a large beef-consuming country. But it has to go both ways. We're building their industry, their beef industry, and it's hurting the American beef industry.

And I can't tell you how grateful I am that President Trump. put a ten percent tariff on them to say, look, Stop taking advantage of America. We're building all these other economies around the world while we see the American farmer, the American manufacturer continue to struggle more and more.

Well, I know we have a lot of cattle ranchers that listen to this program across the nation, and Congressman Stutzman, ladies and gentlemen, introduced the Protect American Beef Act. I can't think of anything more American than Protecting Beef, Congressman. No, you're exactly right. I mean, when you think of American beef, It's just one of the all-American products that we raise and grow. I mean, the history that we have of the Cowboys.

uh throughout American history is legendary. And It's such a wonderful product. It has helped families you know, grow wealth and uh and Be prosperous over years in a hard, it's a very hard industry. But I know for a fact that when you see the American farmer. Is not able to compete with Australia or other countries as beef.

That says a lot right there that there must be a huge Of disparity between our economy here and our trade tariffs, our trade barriers. trade policy compared to these other countries. Brazil is now shipping in Of so many different ag products in the United States, it's just different than what it was. We used to always think. Americans are going to buy American products.

We should be able to reciprocate those with other countries. But now other countries, they have been taken advantage of us. Trump didn't start a trade war. He actually finally fired a shot back. That's right.

1,000% right. Congressman Marlon Stutzman joining us from the House Budget Committee represents Indiana's third congressional district. Congressman, this is the headline just popped up on Fox News: House Republicans in disarray over massive spending bill that's key to Trump agenda. Is that accurate? Are you guys in disarray over there?

Well, I wouldn't say disarray. We passed our House budget resolution. several months ago out of the House, budget committee and off the House floor. Every Every Republican except for one voted for it. The Senate just passed their version.

And they look very different, but there's a lot of similarities. That's what we're all wrestling with today. is we set a number of two trillion dollars in cuts over the next ten years. And the Senate's version is four billion. And so we're all like.

trying to understand, well, okay, there's got to be more to this than what meets the eye. because you're not going to have Mike Lee or Ted Cruz or other conservatives in the Senate voting for a budget resolution that only cuts four billion. Rand Paul voted against it, but he was the only conservative that voted against it.

So we're still trying to wrestle through some of those pieces and also understand reconciliation on The instructions, they kept the instructions of the House in the Senate version.

So we're still just kind of reconciling these two together. But at the end of the day, President Trump, I've talked to Secretary Scott Besant and his team. They are all committed to cutting government spending because as you know, I was Ray Dalio, who's a big voice in the um on Wall Street, he came in, he brought his book called How Countries Go Broke. He was telling us as an outside voice that we have to grow the economy 4%. Cut spending 4%, and if we can reduce interest rates 1%, that's how we're going to keep.

America from having an economic heart attack. You know, people are watching what's happening with the stock market over the last several days due to tariffs. That can be fixed. Oh, sure. But a death crash would be bad.

Congressman, and we're going to have to leave it there. The computers are going to cut us off. But congratulations. Thank you again for standing up for the Ranchers of America. We're going to get you back on.

Congressman Marlon Stutzman, everybody from Indiana. Got to take a quick break. We'll be right back, America. Live from the Liberty University Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, it's America's conservative blowtorch. That's right.

I love this American Todd starts. Oh, yeah, yeah.

Well, hello, everybody. How are we three of the big show? Welcome to the program, your most conservative talk radio show in America, right here, everybody. Want to go right to the phone lines? We've had some folks waiting around to weigh in.

901-260-5926, our telephone number. Write that down. 901-260-5926. I want to go to Clear Lake City, Texas. Mike is listening to us on Patriot Talk 920.

Mike, thank you for holding on. What's on your mind today? Oh, hello, hello. That you were talking earlier about history repeating itself with communism. I tell everybody I can if and when the subject comes up.

Lennon had his young pioneers Hitler had his brown shirts, Mao Steitung had the red guards. They were all young people. doing their bidding. And look at what's happening on college campuses today. the the Democrats are using the same playbook that all of them use.

Whoop, do we have Mike with us? Yeah, hello? All right, yeah, there you go. You didn't hear anything I said? No, we just heard it.

Yeah, I just heard it.

Sorry, Mike. But yeah, to your point. I think when you look at history. And when you go back through history, it's the same playbook being used over and over and over again. And that's what I see happening here.

I mean, look at what happened in Cuba, for example, before Castro took over. And they initially targeted the super wealthy of Cuba and then imprisoned everybody who wasn't able to get out before the takeover.

So, yeah, I think you're onto something there.

Well, I want to throw one more thing out. If my wife always asks me about what's wrong with these people, the Tesla. Vandals and so forth. And I tell her, it's 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 11. Paul White that uh he, he being God, will send forth the deluding spirit upon the earth so the people will believe what is false.

And I think that's what's going on right now, especially with the transgender movement. And you know how Jesus and God feel about harming little children. But but the earth to me is under spiritual warfare Not seen since the days of Noah. You know, I don't want to get into a conversation about the end of days, but I think we're getting pretty. Pretty close, and you can certainly see and feel the birthing pains as we move towards that time.

Clearly, something is happening here in the country. Mike, thank you for calling in, and thank you for holding on, and I certainly do appreciate that. Speaking of Patriot Talk, I've got to share this. I was talking to the owner of the station, Matt Velasquez, last night, and I told him that we would share some information. I know we have a lot of gun owners that listen to this program and a ton of Second Amendment supporters.

And Patriot Talk 920. Is holding a custom gun auction in conjunction with the gun owners of America.

So if you go to Patriot Talk920.com, that's Patriot Talk920.com. They're going to be holding a custom gun auction benefiting our friends at Gun Owners of America. Yeah. Tattoo tactical. Which is the official custom gun manufacturer of Patriot Talk 920.

I mean. You know, it's a cool radio station when they have their own custom gun manufacturer. They have generously donated two custom pieces just for Patriot Talk 920.

So I want you to go and check out their website. You'll be able to see the weapons there. It's pretty remarkable, the stuff they have.

So, again, if you want to take part in the custom gun auction, be sure to go over to patriotalk920.com. We certainly love all of our great listeners in Texas as well as all over America. I want to play some audio here and the shocking part of this audio is that it's from CNN. Harry Inton is talking about President Trump's Really history-making presidency thus far. And he made an interesting point that Trump really is not a lame duck president.

Cut number 10. I think there was this concern among some folks that Donald Trump would come in for a second term and kind of be a lame duck. He ain't no lame duck. If anything, he's a soaring eagle. What am I talking about here?

Let's talk about Trump executive orders in 2025. He's already signed 111 so far. That is the most at this point in a presidency in at least 100 years. In fact, it's the most in any single year, more only in April, since Harry S. Truman in the early 1950s.

The bottom line is whether you like Trump or you don't like him, you can't say that he's coming and not try to deliver on what he at least believes was his promises on the campaign trail, and he's doing so in historic fashion. How are people reacting to and feel about Trump's approach? Yeah, okay, so Trump's approach here. What are we talking about? Trump's approach to presidential power.

I think the American people recognize what he's doing here is completely different. We're talking, get this. 86% of the American public believes that. That Trump's approach to presidential power is completely different from past presidents compared to only 14% who believe it is in line with president. And we're talking about at least 79% of Democrats, Independents, and Republicans.

So, again, you can agree or you can disagree with Donald Trump, but what you can't disagree with is that he's doing things very differently. I have used the Frank Sinatra quote before. He is doing it, quote unquote, my way. And that is what Donald Trump has done throughout both of his presidential terms. And he's certainly doing that, Cape Baldwin, in term number two.

It's pretty remarkable. Pretty remarkable what the President has been able to accomplish. And again, the President is a man on a mission. That's all. And he is not going to be deterred.

He's not going to be bullied. He's not going to be silenced. And I like that. Well, House Republicans in disarray. This is the headline from Fox News.

Elizabeth Elkind and Deidre. Heavy are the writers, or heavy, House Republicans in disarray ahead of an expected Wednesday vote, that's tomorrow, to advance the Senate's version of a massive bill advancing President Trump's agenda. Sure. Several people who spoke with Fox said they were concerned that even the President may not be able to sway holdouts ahead of a planned Wednesday vote, despite Trump's ability to do so on key pieces of legislation earlier this year. One senior House Republican saying this is one tough sell.

There's a level of distrust historically. And why is there distrust?

Well, I want to share this with you, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.

So the Republicans, the House Republicans, sent the Senate A package that had $1.5 trillion in cuts. All right, so those are all of the Doge cuts. The Senate came back and said, Yeah, that's too much. We want to keep it at $4 billion. That's nowhere near even close.

It's not even in the ballpark. And If I were House Republicans, I'd tell the Senate to go take a fly and flip. Fiscal Hawke's chief concerns with the bill lie in the differences between minimum mandatory spending cuts. Again, the House's version, which the chamber passed in late February, calls for at least $1.5 trillion to $2 trillion in federal spending cuts to offset the new spending for Trump's priorities on defense, the border, and taxes. The Senate passed an amendment to the House version over the weekend that closely mirrored the lower chamber, calling it for at least $4 billion in spending cuts.

Now, what's interesting here, folks, there are as many as 30 to 40 people. in the House who have shared concerns, serious concerns, about the bill.

Some skeptics are not a very important part of the situation are expected to be a part of a group of House Republicans heading to the White House Tuesday afternoon. To meet with Trump. At least three lawmakers who have shared concerns about the bill. said they were not invited to the meeting. Those people not invited to the meeting are good friends Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Congressman Ralph Norman of South Carolina, and Congressman Keith Self of Texas.

They're being kept out of all of this. Also, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Harris from Maryland told reporters he'd turned down an invitation. He said, There's nothing I don't understand about this issue, so you know, let the President spend time with people. Maybe he will change their minds. He said that Trump's influence is not going to help get enough votes to pass this week.

It's just there are too many members who are just not going to vote for it no matter what. I don't see it happening. Congressman Eric Burleson said, I love the President. But he said he doubted whether the legislation could pass on Wednesday. I think that That because what the Senate sent over is so financially immoral that it doesn't matter how much pressure, there's so many of us that just can't swallow it.

So I'm curious to hear from you, ladies and gentlemen. What do you do? What do the Republicans do? The house, it seems to me. The house did what they were supposed to do.

They passed it, and it's not even anywhere near perfect, but at least we've got spending cuts that are going to do something. They're going to put a dent in all of this, up to two trillion dollars. And then you have the Senate Republicans come back and say, no, that's just too much. Let's just take out $4 billion. That's chump change, ladies and gentlemen.

And yet the President, it appears, is going to side with the Senate Republicans here on this.

So what do you think the House should do? Should they stand their ground? Should they stand up and defend Doge? Because quite frankly, if the Senate version passes, what is the point of Doge? I mean, really, what is the point of it all?

901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926. Got to take a break. We'll be right back. All right, welcome back, everybody.

I'm gonna play some audio here. This goes back to the cattle farmers and talking about how important it is and what a game changer this has all been for the beef industry here in America. You just heard the congressman from Indiana introducing legislation that would protect American cattle ranchers and the beef industry here. They have been under the gun because of this trade war, cut number one. Who have you never been able to sell your product to?

Well, the European community has been a big market that we'd love to get to. And certainly Australia is another one that sells lots of beef here in the United States, but we don't get to sell to them. How does this moment in time feel like a game changer for your industry?

Well, I think we're happy that the President finally singled us out and said that we do need to increase. our beef sales to other countries and that he's going to try and make an effort to do that.

So we're it'll be a great time for our industry if we can sell more and have a better market and higher prices. And that's the whole point of all of this, folks.

So, anyway, good news. It looks like every major cable news outlet is having to back up now. And say, you know what, we made a mistake. Looks like President Trump is doing the it looks like what he's doing is not hurting the stock market. But again, the stock market, ladies and gentlemen, is different than the economy.

And the economy right now is roaring. This item from This is terrible from KFC. There is now a fried chicken flavor toothpaste. Would you brush your teeth with toothpaste? That tasted like KFC.

According to Fox, the new toothpaste is inspired by all. Eleven herbs and spices that are in KFC's Fried Chicken Batter. It turns out that fried chicken is not just a food anymore, it is also now in paste form. Ugh. The flavors inspired by all of KFC's 11 herbs and spices.

According to a news release, it's like biting into a hot, juicy piece of KFC original recipe chicken. Yeah. The toothpaste is irresistible, coating your teeth and flavor before leaving your mouth feeling fresh and clean. Would you really brush your teeth with something that tasted like KFC? KFC says we love pushing the boundaries, and what better way to do that than by bringing KFC's legendary flavors into an everyday essential.

The collab is bold, unexpected, seriously funny, And I think it's finger-licking gross. This is disgusting. I have a hard time drinking orange juice after brushing my teeth.

Okay.

I can't imagine so here's the thing, is this original recipe or the extra crispy? It seems to me that would hurt your teeth if it was extra crispy. I'm just I'm just saying. The toothpaste claims it contains a fluoride-free formula and has a long-lasting oral health benefit.

Well, I guess if you want your breath to taste like fried chicken all day, I guess so. Would you, ladies and gentlemen, of the Todd Stearns radio show audience, would you? Brush your teeth with something that tasted like Kentucky fried chicken. 901-260-5926, our telephone number. That's 901-260-5926.

Uh good lord By the way. The Congress gals, I'm not sure what we're calling them. They're not the squad, but the Republicans have their own version of the squad. You've got Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna and Congress gal Brittany Peterson. And they're all upset at you folks because they believe that mothers Should be able to have 12 weeks.

If you're in Congress and you get pregnant, you have a baby, you should be able to have 12 weeks where you can stay at home and you can do your congressional work at home. Yeah. And this has not gone over very well. A lot of moms, especially in the conservative world, they're saying, well, wait a second. This is not what we elected you to do.

Mm-hmm. And if you're expecting the government workers to come back into the office and put in an eight hour workday, why should we not demand the same of Congress?

So anyway, Luna is trying to work her way out of all of this. Take a listen. Historically, it's been much more wealthy, you know, older men who serve in Congress. This isn't designed for young families and for young women, especially. Congress was designed and built for old white men to represent themselves.

And, you know, we've made a lot of progress since then. We get into it because we're public servants and we care about representing our community. But there should be some accommodations for family things that come up, like the birth of a child. It's not like I'm faking, you know, to go partying cabo, right? Like, I'm actually trying to A, recover, but then B, also care for a newborn.

Our job is to represent people, and I'm a 35-year-old woman. All of my friends are going through this problem right now. That is representing people. American people are not just single, you know, older men. with or without children.

I want to be able to represent my community and I want to be able to have a family and it shouldn't be so hard to figure out how to do both.

So I'm curious to hear from you on this because there is an argument here that, well, wait a second. By the way, you know where they're coming from when they keep making the cracks about old men, the old white guys. The reality here is that they were elected to do a job. and they have a responsibility to do that job.

Now if they get pregnant and they're unable to do that job, they need to step aside and let somebody else represent their district in Congress.

So the question here, ladies and gentlemen, should an accommodation be made? for these expectant mothers who are up on Capitol Hill. Mm-hmm. Or or should they be forced to step down. 901 260 5926 our telephone number.

That's 901 260 5926. Taking your calls on this. Also coming up, we're going to be talking to the author of the brand new book, About the insider scoop of the Biden administration, the final days in the White House.

So proud, everybody. We'll be right back. All right, five o'clock Eastern, the Todd Turn Show on Newsmax. Be sure to watch us later this evening. There is a fascinating book, and it is exploding.

The number one New York Times bestseller, folks, just really remarkable. The um The stories, the intrigue that's coming out of this new book. That just hit bookstores. It's called Fight Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House by. Jonathan Allen and Amy Parnes.

Here's what Jesse Waters had to say. Bombshell. Joe Scarborough over at MSDNC says so many revelations. Scathing is what the New York Post calls it. Amy, good to have you with us on the radio show today.

Thank you so much for having me.

So I'm just curious. You guys interviewed just dozens and dozens of people that were insiders for this book. What was the big shocking takeaway for you as a journalist? I mean, there are so many revelations. And what we do is we explore what was going on with Biden and his cognitive abilities.

We explore the candidate switch, what it took to get to the candidate switch. Um, and also Kamala Harris at the end. I don't want to give anything away, but she goes into election night thinking. Watch, she's going to win the race. And so we picked you inside the room there.

But it's not just about Democrats, obviously. There's a lot on the Republican side as well. A lot of lessons to be learned. From this book. This is our third campaign book, so we're.

We've done this before, and yes, we've talked to more than 150 sources for this book. We're pretty proud of it. I'm well, and you should be. And it's really just an incredible deep dive, and it is a page turner, no doubt about that. I I was really struck by the the President and President Biden and his the concerns about his mental abilities and his faculties, the cognitive abilities.

What did you guys discover when you talked to insiders within the administration? I mean, there's a lot in this book about that. Pretty much half of our book, the first half, is devoted to his cognitive abilities. And we talked to people who were close to him, who were around him, people who ran into came into contact with him. Eric Swalwell, the congressman from California, is a good example.

He comes face to face with him at a congressional picnic at the White House in 2023, and Joe Biden doesn't remember him. And this is a guy who he ran against. In 2020. Other moments where people at a fundraiser think that he's about to pass out and he could even die, one person said at the fundraiser, one donor. Other anecdotes where every time he travels, he was met with a makeup artist, and this is just to get on Zoom calls.

This was his first order of business every day. Um lots and lots of revelations in this book for the first time. I I'm curious, in all the conversations you have with these political insiders on the Democrat side of the aisle, I'm going to get to Trump in just a moment. But did did any of them express any remorse about covering up the the condition of the President over the years? No, and that's why you're seeing increasingly arrows being thrown at his Biden and his inner circle for You know, for this kind of cover-up or people like to call it a cover-up.

That they weren't acknowledging what kind of state of mind he faced. And everyone saw what they saw on debate night. And there was instance after instance. About Joe Biden. And even, you know, we detail one fundraiser in the book, which is after the debate at Phil Murphy's house.

And he needs fluorescent seats, the president does at the time, to be guided from place to place. He needs a teleprompter. This is a small house. This isn't at a big event. Needs a telecomps or needs tape to look for, you know, to guide him in and out.

Um you've definitely required a lot of aims to kind of get through this day to day job. In the course of the book and the research, were you guys able to figure out who? Who is actually governing, who is running the the Oval Office? That's what we we had, you know, we tried to look into that. Of course, his people say he.

He was very well aware of what was happening day in and day out. But that's why even people within the Democratic Party right now are so frustrated after reading our book. You know, these revelations lead a lot of people to believe that. there was a cover-up and why people weren't being forthcoming about it. Amy Parnes is joining us.

She and Jonathan Allen are writing this incredible book called Fight Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House. It was interesting that there was a story about President Trump in there preparing for the debate. And you guys wrote that he was actually concerned about not coming off as a jerk in this debate. Exactly. For the first time, we reveal what he was thinking during the debate.

Obviously, talk to, we don't reveal our sources, but you know, enough to know what he's thinking. And he is essentially, you know, he goes into this thinking that he doesn't want to completely annihilate Biden. And we take you inside what his thoughts are at the moment. And he really does not want to come across as a jerk. He wants to kind of rein it in.

Um and he knows that Biden is is having a disastrous debate and kind of doesn't want to pile on. Which is a very sort of it's not the most Trump sort of response, and we found that very interesting in our recording. You know, you wonder, and I've picked up on this and I've had a chance to interview the President a couple of times before and after the assassination attempt. And there's just something different about President Trump. I mean, the essence of Trump is there, but it's almost as if there's more of a reflective side sometimes that pops out.

And I'm wondering if that was maybe part of that. definitely a reflective side. And there are other moments too in this book. That we reveal for the first time. Susie Wilds has a very Powerful moment in the book where she is talking to a communications aide inside Trump Tower during his criminal trial in New York.

And she says, and this is a month before the first attempted assassination, and she says to the aide. You know, I fear that if they don't get him this way, they're gonna try to kill him. Um, a very, very powerful moment. She's peering up. The other eight is as well.

It just goes to show what they were thinking in real time in these very high-profile moments. Is it difficult to get these folks, these insiders, to open up and to talk? For some people, yes. But my co-author and I have done this. This is our third campaign book.

A lot of these people know us from our last books. We wrote the book Shattered, which delved into Hillary Clinton's campaign and how she was. She ended up losing that race and wrote another book about the last election in 2020. And so I think a lot of people know us for these books and want to open up and tell us the story, the true stories of what was going on. And that's what we thought to do in writing this book and coming as close to the truth as possible on both sides.

I'm just astounded that Kamala Harris literally thought she was going into election night thinking she had this in the bag. I mean, that's sort of the big bombshell in the book. And, you know, and we reveal for the first time that she was gaslit by her own campaign. You know, they went in telling her that she was going to win. Tim Walls is shocked that night.

He can't find the words. Um to describe a loss. You definitely thought that they were going to win. She definitely thought they were going to win. They had advisors like David Spluff going out the day before telling everyone we're going to sweep all the swing space.

They were led to believe that they had this. What is the overall takeaway from that presidential race? I mean, how would you how do you think history is going to view that race?

Well, I think that's what Democrats need to grapple with right now. I think there needs to be an acceptance almost by the Democrats that. You know, they were to blame for putting up a candidate like President Biden. You know, they said he had a successful first term and deserved to run again, but a lot of people. Felt otherwise.

And I think the first part of this is that they're going to have to come to some sort of reckoning about what actually happened. And then try to figure out where to go from here. But there are so many lessons to be learned on both sides for this book. I think Trump ran a very tight. very disciplined campaign under Susie Wiles and Chris La Sevita.

We go into that in great detail in this book. They relied on podcasts and other messages to get their they had two very powerful ads that ran at the very end that helped kind of seal the deal for them. And we go into detail about how successful, how they were able to run such a successful and tight campaign. Is it true that Obama was working against Kamala Harris behind the scenes? He was.

He was definitely he didn't think that she could win. Um a general election campaign and was sort of calling around and feeling people out to see what they would think of the idea of an open primary. He was talking to Nancy Pelosi. We report for the first time in this book that they had a couple of conversations to discuss the future, what to do with Biden and what else would come from that. Um and you know he was quietly trying to, not as publicly as the Nancy Pelosi, obviously, but And he didn't want his fingers on the scales, but he was playing quite a big role behind the scenes.

You know, Amy, it it it's really remarkable because you would think Obama as the one of the elder statesmen of the party, do you think his influence was hurt or his influence moving forward has been hurt by what he did here? In some respects, yes. I mean, obviously, he didn't think that Kamala Harris could win, so his insight was and his instincts were right. But I think a lot of people, a lot of Democrats, expected him to do more and to step up to the plate. A lot of people are blaming him, too, right now, for not playing a bigger role in this.

But this is a guy who. has never been devoted to the Democratic Party. A lot of Democrats are pretty sore about that. Comes out only in the end when he needs to or when he needs to absolutely fundraise. And so I think a lot of the arrows are directed at him as well.

Wow. Well, it's a fascinating book. And congratulations to you and Jonathan. And love your books. And what I love about them is nobody's disputing them, right?

There are some of these big wigs, and you know who I'm talking about. They come out and people are like, oh, that's not true at all. You guys don't have that problem. And I respect that. And it's just great journalism.

And congratulations. Thank you so much. That means a lot. Thank you. All right.

Amy Parnes, everybody. She and Jonathan Allen with the incredible book, Fight Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House. Got to get a copy of it. It is a great read. Amy, we've got to leave it there.

Thank you again. Folks, we've got to take a quick break, 901-260-5926. That's 901-260-5926. This is the Todd Stern Show. You know, I've been reading the book and this This conversation that Trump had immediately after the debate where Biden just.

completely uh discombobulated. It's really remarkable. As a matter of fact, There was a mega donor from Florida, a Democrat mega donor, a guy by the name of John Morgan. And he actually texted Nancy Pelosi at the debate and said, This was a natural disaster playing out before our very eyes. And according to the book, Trump told Jason Miller that he really didn't know that something was wrong with Biden until about 15 to 20 minutes into the debate.

And that's when he knows, holy cow, this isn't just political fodder. This guy has lost it. And what got me was. That in the course of all their interviews, and they interviewed well over 150 people for the book, not a single person on the Democrat side of the aisle had any remorse for what they had done. And quite frankly, to me, that is the big story here: is that an entire political apparatus covered up.

The feebleness, the dementia of of a sitting United States President. And the question still needs to be addressed. Who was calling the shots in that White House? But what really you know, and there are a couple of big takeaways here. The other is Barack Obama, and maybe it's just me, but this guy has been completely diminished.

I mean, it's he has absolutely absolutely zero political capital right now. And it seems to me that this guy, Michelle Obama in one of her I think one of the podcasts, Big M, she was talking about how she really had to make a decision, should she marry a guy who was who was Dirt poor, talking about Barack Obama, or somebody who had actually had money.

So it seems to me that maybe Barack Obama is just at this stage of his life. He just wants to kick back, play basketball, go hang out with the boys, and smoke a little newbie every now and again. I mean, he was a member of the Schume gang.

So you say, well, what does that mean? It means that there is a leadership vacuum in the Democrat Party. And this is actually great news for the Republicans because the Republicans will no doubt mess things up, but they can't mess them up as bad as the Democrats are messed up. And there's no leadership right now in the Democrat Party, none whatsoever. It's not Barack Obama.

And it's not Michelle Obama. Big M has no interest in this. And honestly, based on how her podcast is performing, I don't think she's got that much power, that much clout. The leaders of the Democrat Party, and this is why it's so brilliant for Republicans. The leaders of the Democrat Party Are literally AOC and Jasmine Crockett, Rashida Talib.

So you've got all these woke, angry, millennial women. They can't find husbands because who wants to marry that? I mean, really? Do you want to come home, guys? You want to come home from a hard day's work and have somebody like Rashida Talib cussing you out?

No, nobody wants that. I think she may be married. But the others aren't. They're angry. They're Karen's Pardon me, Karens conservative Karens, we we love you.

But those are the leaders of the Democrat Party right now. Those are the people that will be that's the reason why. AOC is flying first class to hang out with Bernie Sanders. Their thinking and their warped thinking, they believe that that could be the winning ticket in 2028 as a Bernie Sanders AOC ticket. And don't don't laugh here, folks, because Years ago, I told you that AOC was the future of the Democrat Party.

Said it on this radio program. And it's true. But what I find truly fascinating is that the men really don't have any power. Within the Democrat Party, right now. I mean, basically, they're all beta males.

I mean, look at Hakeem Jeffries. I mean, that guy's hiding under his desk. You got Jasmine Crockett out there talking about people picking cotton, or they're not going to be picking cotton anymore. I'm loving this. This is all great news, ladies and gentlemen, for the Republican Party.

So, yeah, the Republicans are probably going to screw this thing up, but that's okay. Because there's no way the Democrats are going to be able to get any of these people over the finish line. And by the way, another little reported story. We are hearing reports now that Democrats on Capitol Hill see the writing on the wall, and many of them are announcing that they are going to be leaving their positions. They're voting for, they're voting for, or they're rather going to be running in races back in their home states.

So this This could get even worse, and it probably will for the Democrats because nobody's buying what they're selling. They have decided to embrace the 20% as opposed to the 80%. And you get what you vote for. All right, folks, again, head over to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and help us out. We need your help.
