So I never got to see me. You know, back. I was going to say something. Yeah, don't say it to me, man. That's just a little TJ's, random TJ's.

And I was like, Word. He's like, Yeah. And then we sat there, we chopped it up for about 10 minutes, right?

So, I wanted to give him a shout out because it's always for you, it's a different thing, right? Because you being an actor. You know, and who your family is. I'm sure you're used, and I've seen it. You're more so used to people coming up.

I've seen people talk to you because of your pops. I've seen people talk to you because of what you do. But, like, for me, it's still kind of a new thing, you know, to have people stop me. London, England, for instance, or at the Shake Shack in Marina Del Rey, just to say how much they like what we've made and what we're doing here, man. It's always humbling and it's always really cool to have people say they like what we're doing.

Foolish tacos. Yeah. And she said Royale with cheese. And you and I looked at each other. It was like, well, come on, we got it.

Yeah, and I just want to point out Because Those who have listened and watched us know that we had our prediction. for how this king of the ring, queen of the ring was gonna go.

And We were Wrong and right at the same time, right? Because we were like, oh, well, this is gonna be this, like, it should set up. Seth in Roman. And then we said WrestleMania was going to be the endgame for those. Yeah, and like here we are with Seth and Roman again.

And then we said that, well, Brock should obviously stop Oba from getting it because like why would he get a title shot if We know that Brock wants to end it in Minneapolis. Over one. But Brock interrupted him anyway. I don't know that Brock is going to end it in Minneapolis. I mean, I don't think so now.

I don't know what's going on with him anymore. Yeah, I don't know. I thought Homeboy retired. Yeah, I mean, we saw him. Took it off.

The gloves and the boots. It's one thing that changes men's minds. It is a pile of cash. Money, money, money, money. Yeah, and I know they threw it at the vanilla gorilla.

And he is, I mean, he's here. They're tied one and one. I guess this would be the deciding factor, but who knows? And there's still not necessarily anybody. of the stature to be an obarrival?

Undisputed WWE Champion of the world, and his name is Samuel Zayn. I don't know if it's really Samuel, but you know, I do. Come on, man. What's Sam short for? Sammy Zayn, man.

And I gotta be honest with you, Shay. This didn't come out of nowhere because if you look, this Cody story with Sammy and Gunther has been building for months, right? Yeah. So it's not like it just kind of blindsided you. If you really paid attention, like we said, it kind of would make, and you said it last week, it would kind of make sense.

Of all places, if you're going to do it, this is the place to do it. And I got to be honest, dog, when that three count hit, a smile crossed my face. Yeah. Because I was like. Why not?

The hell not yeah. And uh You know, there's a lot of things that go into it. Obviously, um I got to stop saying obviously. But Sami Zayn is obviously. Yeah, right.

Sami Zayn, one of the hardest workers, put into crazy positions and still making entertainment, still making it work, still making us believe what we're seeing. You and I, in conversation, you've brought up the fact that he had to make that Knoxville match happen. Think about that, man. The giant hand match at what was at 40 or 40 in Dallas, whatever, 40, 39, maybe. No, we had LA had 39, so I had to be 38.

Okay. You know, him putting that Knoxville jackass match over. I had. I had less than zero interest in that match before that bell rang. I was there in the building.

By the time that was over, I was applauding. Like, this was fun. Entertainment. It's entertainment. It's world wrestling entertainment.

Yeah. And he did that. And think about. You know, Sammy from before. NXT, the generic, El Generic.

You've seen him at Pro Wrestling Gorilla. for him to be, in my opinion, the most popular NXT star probably ever. For him to debut against John Cena and dislocate his shoulder and still manage to pop it back in and have an awesome match with the Never Seen 17. Just everything. Remember the faction with Nakamura and Cesaro that he was in.

Like all the matches with Kevin Owens and then getting to the bloodline and kind of. Being kind of like The person who turned the bloodline around a little bit. It's quite a lot of people. Kind of made him the lovable bad guy. Right?

So, all of that. And then him. Main event in WrestleMania, winning the tag team championships with Owens. Like. He's been force-fed a lot of crap.

Yeah. And he's, and he's just, he's just kind of a man to spirit away to turn shit into sugar. He has, man. He's taken those lemons and he's made lemonade. Yeah.

As a vet in the game, much like I was happy when Kofi finally won after everything he went through in his long journey. And I said this. I wish I would have clipped it. I know in one episode I said it, but I thought this was going to be the year that Sami Zayn, especially after Jey Uso got that world championship. Yes, sir.

I said, thought that this was going to be the year that Sammy got that feel-good championship run. It didn't look like it was going to happen, though, for a while. I mean, the man put over the gingerbread. He got a gingerbread man over. Hold on.

Rest in peace to the Jiggy Grandma. But yeah, man, so I know a lot of people on social media, of course, the IWC is always going to have their thoughts on it. But for me personally, as a fan who's, you know, I like to think I'm pretty level-headed in my fandom. I don't take it too seriously. Yeah.

But I do take it seriously. But I look at the bigger picture, and the bigger picture is how could you not be happy for a man who's dedicated his entire life to the thing that we love so much at the highest level? And he got a chance. And why not, man? Why not, dude?

And, you know, the IWC or, you know, the motorcycle club and call them the motorcycle club because all we hear is. Bitch, bitch, bitch, nag, knack all the time. Die wine constantly. Yeah, and Uh this Feels good. And every now and then, wrestling gotta make you feel good.

Obviously, the naysayers are there. I even saw Vince Russo say that this was the equivalent To David R. Kent winning, which it is not. That is so ridiculous. Are you crazy?

For him to say that. And didn't you make that happen? Russo? What the hell are you talking about? Like, to, and all respect to David Arquette, because if they tell you right now, Shay Jackson, we're going to put you in this match and you're going to become the world champion.

Are you kidding? Yeah, you're going to do it. But, like, come on, to have that the audacity. Do you know what type of madness me and you would take if I ever won? You be on one now, and you ain't the world champion.

So, I can't imagine if they actually gave you that. TJ, we going out, baby. Yeah, man, for him, the person who made that happen, to say that, like, like Sami Zayn isn't one of the best wrestlers in the world. Yeah, like, bro, almost two decades of putting his body on the line, entertaining at every single promotion he's been in. Like, he.

You deserve it. Yeah. Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap. While there has been the moaning and complaining on the internet, there have also been some great thing pieces.

Somebody posted that He's the last one of the Dusty guys from NXT. I wanted to bring, yeah, that is like symbolic. And you think about all the Dusty's kids who've won. Everyone from Seth to E. Yeah.

You got to throw Paige in there. She. Roman. Paige. They didn't put any of the girls in there.

Yeah, right. Paige being a champion. Roman being a champion. Like the list goes on of Dusty's kids. And for him to actually beat Dusty's kid for this.

First of all, I grew up, like, you know, I grew up watching the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. That was my, that was my period of my introduction period to wrestling. My grandpa used to always wonder, and sometimes I look back now as an adult. I wonder, did grandpa not really? Because sometimes my grandpa would sit there and get so mad at the four horsemen.

And I got to tell, I got to share this story with Cody Rhodes when he came on the Rich Hisen show years ago. I was like, grandpa would get so mad and he would sit there and go, why don't Dusty get him a crew and wait out wait at a grass station and get Ric Flair or get the cake like. Why don't he get magnum TV? Yeah, so grandpa used to every time Dusty would get beat down by the four horse, my grandpa would get so upset. Yeah, hurt.

Watching my friend get jumped. Dusty had that brother in him, you know, for sure. But yeah, so all of Dusty's kids, and you can go, you can go and look it up. They were all Been champions on top of the mountain. And so, yeah, that's another cool thing right there.

Beautiful about it. And then my favorite part is everybody was so. worried and upset. that the bloodline was gonna have both belts.

So they, in essence, they do that. Exactly. Exactly. Things are how they're supposed to be. But I'm.

Yeah. You know, like you're so good at what you do. And You know, he will forever. when they mention his name. She was Top dog at the top company.

Yeah, I mean, like he said, it doesn't matter if it happens tomorrow. The fact of the matter is, you know, Tommy Wildfire Rich back with the NWA was the NWA in the premier wrestling company. He beat Harley Race for the NWA World Championship. He held the belt for five days. Five days.

And yet to this day, at every signing, everywhere he goes. when they put that, you know, that. Banner behind him. Yeah. Former NWA World MD champion, Tommy Wildfire, which they can never take this away from Zami.

And speaking of take it away, I hope that they don't take it away too soon, Shay. Yeah. Because he gave him the belt. Why not give him a little bit run for it? Why not let him duplicate what he did with that U.S.

title when he had those open challenges? Just give him, let's wrestle for a change. Let's actually have wrestling matches. I know this might be a weird concept. Take it easy now, bro.

You're going to get us killed. Why not have some wrestling matches? Why not put him up against Dragon Off again? Why not put him up against Mellow? Give these guys wrestling.

I also want to talk about I think we have a unique opportunity. where We, especially after Roman, we as wrestling fans see somebody win a title and think like. Oh, he's not about to drop it, you know, the next fight. I think we're in a unique opportunity where Everyone thinks Sammy's gonna drop it. Right, right.

So you're now that that ideology is flipped.

So you have a chance to really have some interesting matches because everybody's gonna pick the other guy with Sammy. I'm saying that. And so you have a lot of, like, you can make some interesting situations. Because people are gonna be like, oh, well, all right, so here's, as you said before, the camera started, a word that you hate now. Oh, let's get into it.

Yeah, transitional. Transitional, dog. The second that three count hit, you go on social media, and it's like everyone on social media, they cling to these keywords. Like, as soon as somebody uses a word, I saw the word transitional and I at least. 65 tweets.

65 is saying, you know, transitional. Yeah. I don't know if it was. It's like, I don't know if it was really 65. I just 65 is a great number.

I knew it was more than 10 and less than 100. 65 is a number of concern. Yeah. Oh my God, it must be an epidemic. I just threw that out there.

I just knew it was a lot. But the transitional stop. Yeah. Just to go into a further rabbit hole, it's a simulation talk. I've noticed that that happens a lot where there'll be a new hot word that.

is out in the in the zeitgeist that everybody's using like Last year, it was a narcissist. I saw the word narcissist. Everywhere in shows on streamers, in tweets. It was just like everybody learned this word this year. Earlier this year, it was a performative.

Performative.

Now everybody's using that in in their lingo, but Wrestling fans is a couple of guys Who watched a couple of documentaries, heard some hot words, and think that they are in the know. And so they use them right there. The beauty about it is, we don't know what's coming next. That's why you watch every week. If you knew what was going to happen, you wouldn't watch.

Exactly. So it it I think they they're in an interesting spot right now. Sammy also Kinda kinda needs this. Because he He was getting to the point where My sister Karima will attest to this. Where it was like, Sammy, what do you?

You keep having this whiny underdog feel to your promos. You know how many titles you've had? Like, bro, like, you've set some records, man. And you're not the underdog no more.

Now he is the champion of the world and still the underdog.

So they have something interesting that they can do and I hope they use it. Um as you know, Cody don't like not having Old glory around his waist. He don't like that. Which is a perfect opportunity for my heel idea. But you know, you guys will see maybe I'll put that out.

The one from the van? Yeah. I'm telling you, dog. Him wanting to get that back. And oh.

Yeah, why not? And here's some wild thought. Where's WrestleMania next year? Oh yeah. You don't think.

What if? I mean, is there a chance that Sammy could keep the belt? I mean, it's probably not going to happen. It definitely won't happen. But just imagine.

And also, what does that do to him and Cody's storyline? Because Cody. You've never made it past WrestleMania after you won the title. You've never got to do that. That might be interesting in their little back and forth because you won it at Mania, but when you got to your Mania, you lost it.

So, like, maybe it's something interesting to be like, well, you know, let me get past that Saudi mania. That might be a little interesting, a little tidbit they can throw in their little back and forth promos that they've been doing. I mean, look, we know good well he ain't gonna hold it that long, but do I? I mean. Do I?

I think we know he's not. I think we know. Because we don't. I don't know. But I know this.

Because you know, they pre-taped SmackDown so the spoilers were out. My God. Cody and Jay had a match, number one contenders match, which Cody won, which means that I guess. I don't know if it's this Friday. I don't know when, but I saw somebody say it was going to happen on Raw.

Cody and Sammy are going to have a match for that title, and please. We're Cody Rhodes fans here. But don't take that title off of Sami Zayn because what you do. What happens if you do that is now you're going to give even more power to the people online who are moaning and complaining and whining. And that transitional word will actually mean something.

Do not. Flip that title. This quick. If you gave him the title, give him a chance. Like I said, just give us some wrestling matches.

Ain't nobody going to complain if he has a 15-20-minute banger with Chad Gable on a Friday night. Who's going to complain about that? Not I. And also, if that were to happen.

Now you're getting into You remember when Rey Mysterio Lost to Cena within three hours. Yeah. You're getting into that type shit. Even though that was pretty awful. Yeah, you know, you didn't make it out that territory of like Well what's the point?

For a few days, like, come on now. He he deserves it. The only time I want to really feel. threatened for Sami Zayn is I want him to be in the ring. Just, you know, giving a promo.

And I hear that. Oh my God. We didn't even talk about that. You knew right now. I knew where you were.

Oh, my goodness. The pop, the look on his face, all of that. Because he's just gold. Also, that's a hill that he hasn't been able to really. Climb.

Like throughout the years, I don't know what the record is, but I can tell you that from what I've seen, Kevin Owens has won 92%. And again, I throw out random numbers. I don't know. I ain't good at math. Like math?

Yeah. I mean, you know, like, you know, people are either good at words or numbers. I'm not good at numbers. But yeah, let's just say he's won 92% of those matches. Yeah.

So it'd be good to see him be able to get over that hump that he hasn't been able. To get over. But yeah, man, let's let Sammy ride a little bit. Congratulations to him. Let's not have this transitional thing be a thing.

And uh You know, and we spoke about Riyadh, and I'm just going to say this. I hope this doesn't get me in trouble with anybody out there, but uh. When it comes to the Riyadh shows for f for the future, Let's leave the ladies, especially the melanated ones. Let's leave them at home. I'm all for women.

I'm all for women's wrestling. But in this particular case, let's leave the women at home because, one, it doesn't seem like. The crowd gives these women The respect and the love that they need, that they get to have, or that they should have. Two, you've got them wrestling in full body gear that can't be comfortable. It's got to be hot.

And two, like I said, the ladies of a particular shade never get shown the love that they're going to get a pop over there. Yeah, man.

So, you know what? Maybe just leave them at home. And again, this is not me knocking women's wrestling. This is me saying they don't. They don't get the props that they deserve.

That's just me. That's the first place I ever seen Boo Bianca. Right? I was like, y'all know it's Bianca Billy.

So, yeah, that's kind of a frustrating thing, but that's just a side note. You black. Anyway. Hey, speaking of things that people say don't make. I'm sorry.

What were you about to say? I was going to say, we gave Sammy a champion side segment. I would say so. Congratulations. Exactly.

Yeah. This is This happened and a lot of people online are saying it didn't make sense. Obafemi winning the king of the ring. That made perfect sense. Perfect sense.

Obafemi not taking The title shot to a lot of people doesn't make sense, and it has all the people who are the podcasters and the live reactioners going, but what was the point of having King of the Ring if he wasn't going to get a title match?

Now, you correct me if I'm wrong, Shay. There's is Obama. Giving up a title match, or is he putting the title match and say, I'll do this at a different time? I've got to handle this dude who just came down the ring and kicked me in the ding-ding. Like, now I will be there, but it is specifically a title match.

Okay. Because that was the whole thing of why we felt like, well, there's no reason why he went or why Liv would be. Yeah, it's like. And also, remember I r I said, I think it was last week. Um When it came to that EO Live match, I was like, all right, so we just gonna get a.

Yeah, the OBA thing is like. What the hell you have him in a tournament for? I get it. That It's all but there's more ratings. There's more.

Like, I was King of the Ring. You know, um But For him to be like, yeah, the titles will be there. It just feels like It feels like our original thought of Brock should cost Oba the king of the ring, and then you know, Jay wins, and then they do whatever they're going to do.

Now, there was word that Triple H was going to book it where Sammy won the title at Mania.

Okay. Just bumped it up and moved things a little faster than what they were gonna do.

So there could be a world where what we said was really gonna happen and all that, and Sammy being the one that was gonna have the title. Maybe that didn't sell as much as a As a Jay versus Cody championship match.

So, like, things had to be moved around.

So, let's just have Oba win. But yeah, it's it's just kinda crazy that it was like Threw it away because you mad at Brock. But there's a reason, yeah. They're like, he has to get Brock and has to get Brock. And by the way, If you go back and watch it.

Oba's face when that music hit was kind of scary. Like, he got a look on his face, like, yeah, and we know, we know the real Ober. Like, we've hung out with him. Yeah, that's a big man. Yeah.

So then Brock comes down, he cuts one of his better Brock Lesnar promos. I got to be honest. He says, you know, I heard you've been talking stuff when I'm not here. I heard you call me a B. And he mentioned the fact that he had Haman because he goes, you cut a pretty good promo.

That's something I wasn't really good at. And I was like, all good. And then he said, he loved Oba, bro. I think so. You talk-ish, you get, you know, and then he kicked him.

He kicked him. Like I said, he kicked him in a ruling thing. And then let me tell you something. You get kicked down there, you're losing all sense.

So, yeah, Oba was like, Nah, F all this, we gotta do this again, right?

So, so at quick glance, I think 24 different men have been, and I could be wrong. Think about how many superstars, and that's the thing. Shea, can I read you some of the greatest wrestlers of all time had been king of the ring? Uh, the magnificent Morocco, Harley Race. Oh, yes, the much.

Yeah, dig it, brother. Uh, Ted D.B. Aussie, Tito Santana, Brett Hart, not once, but two times back to back because he had it like that. Owen Hart. Mabel, maybe not one of the greatest of all time, but Mabel was a big man.

He was the king: Stone Cold, Triple H, Ken Shamrock, Billy Gunn, Kurt Angle, Edge, Brock Lesnar, Booker T, William Regal, Sheamus, Bad News Bear, Baron Corbin, Xavier Woods, Gunther, Cody Rhodes, and now Oba Femi, man.

Some of the biggest names in all of wrestling have been King of the Ring.

So, like I said, it was just a good resume builder, but people don't want to hear that. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Unfortunately. But.

I was in the five. We need a five-star. Yeah, so there's that side of them. But as far as the brotherhood that you talk about. One of the heaviest moments in the history of the WWE.

When Roman Reigns came out, brand new, spanking new universal champion, Cherry Red. And by the way, the red belt was cursed. I stand by that. You might be right. And he comes out.

As Joe, yeah. I I have that recording to this day. I could pull it up on my phone right now. When Seth and And uh Ambrose came out or Mox, you know. When they came out.

Seth was boo-hooing, bawling. Crying. It was tears, real tears. When you have that connection with somebody like that. No matter what they do, man.

You still worry about them. Yeah. They still in the back of your head. I got two best friends that I used to have that, like. We had a falling out.

like for real falling out and To this day, I'm still like, I wonder if they all right. You know, it's just, it's just, it's just something there. And so, you know, K Fabe, you can believe what you want behind behind the scenes. They really are like that's they're still brothers, yeah, for sure. And made a lot of money together, man.

Bought each other houses, yeah, sure. Come on, dog, you know, and You know, there's comparisons like this is generations rock and Austin. You know and uh oh my god, stop my way. Come on, bro. Come on, but Seth, uh, you know, Roman not being able to get over the hump with Seth.

I can only think of I think the Rocks beaten Austin maybe four or five times. Like Austin was cleaning house with Rock. Probably won 95% of the match. And you know, this is no contest math. Yeah, right.

That's a TJ Jefferson number right there. Real matter. But yeah, one and two against him at WrestleMania. Yeah, dude. So.

It's um This might not be the end-all be-all, but We're about to sell it like it is. Yeah. And we will be in attendance. I'm going. I don't care if I got to stand outside.

Me too. Can't you see me? But again, there was such a great weekend for wrestling. And we got, you know, as fans, we got to touch on the rest of this. You know, we had AJ Francis last week on the pod.

And, you know, by the way. Yeah. If you look at our Instagram, I made sure we put up the video about wrestlers wrestling and let me tell you, AJ Francis struck a nerve with people who probably don't need to have a nerve struck, but the amount of people coming at him and like, and he's going back at him in the comments along, which I love. I just saw one about an hour ago. Like, he really touched the nerve for some of you.

Why are y'all so protective over these draws? But what he said was true. It wasn't the message, it was the messenger. Yeah. And I feel a lot of you people.

You have this idea of AJ Francis from him and that dive over the top rope that didn't work. But the man is so much more than just that dive, right? The man has accomplished so much more in TNA, gotten himself in such amazing physical shape. And one thing he told us. From the very first interview we did, I don't know if you remember that time when that Swap happened.

He didn't realize he was diabetic. Yeah. And That was something that led him to getting checked out, which now he got a hold of the diabetes. I'm sure he's doing better, changed his diet, changed whatever. But a lot of people don't know that unless you watched, and I'm not giving out any, it's not a HIPAA violation, he actually told us.

So I think a lot of people, they have that stuck in their mind to him. You got to go watch some more AJ Francis. The dude has improved tremendously, gotten in some tremendous shape. Yeah, amazing. And also, people that go, oh, I dare you to go to so-and-so and tell them that.

I dare you to say that. Yeah, you saw me get at that dude. I was like, I dare you to say that in front of the ranch. Do you realize that A.J. Francis is a six-foot-six, 300-pound man offensive line?

Oh, that was online. I, I. Think that if it Came to a squabble. He's gonna be all right. He's gonna be all right.

So chill out on that. But like, I just loved it because it. Touch the nerve. And if it gets more people to our social media, I'm all for it. But yeah, so Slammiversary, that was also this weekend.

AJ had his match. Against, and you know, like you said, he had Elijah, he owned Elijah, he owned his. His likeness, his right, his NIL, his Naim image, and like masters. Unfortunately, the match didn't go his way, and AJ lost the match.

So I don't know if he can sell a match, damn it. Yes, he can. And when that dude becomes a producer down the line. And you see, like, oh, this match was produced by AJ. You'll be able to tell.

And we, and just to give you guys a little peek behind the curtain, we actually saw AJ one of our trips to TNA. AJ saw Shea come in, and within. Two minutes, AJ Hick came up. With this entire storyline for you that you guys kind of worked on over like an hour and went on TV. Two hours later and it was phenomenal.

It was the one I always say about He was about to get jumped, and I would have helped him, but I was way across. And then Mike Santana came down to help. That was all from the mind of AJ Francis, and that was all conjured up within moments of seeing you walk into the door. I was literally just supposed to do some announcing during one of his matches and be out. He comes up to me and it was like They got you doing the first class match.

I was like, yeah. He was like. One second. And like pieced it together. Uh we went over, you know, like What I should come out and say on the mic.

And he made that whole thing happen, like you said, an hour before shooting. I remember we were all sitting in Crafty having. Eating, and it was me, you, Karima, Danny Luna was sitting next to me. Shout out, Danny Luna, and Jody Threat. We were all at the table together.

Chilling.

Well, you know, and he broke it down. And I was kind of in awe because I'm also watching Ace Austin go over his match while he was still at TNA. And I'm just like, the way. These performers put this together. Nothing was like watching Nick Nameth, though.

Him. Constantly moving that bouncing around, like keeping his legs loose while also going over an entire match. It's something that not a lot of people get the opportunity to watch. But it's Truly amazing to watch and see. And speaking of Nick Nemeth and Slammiversary, we mentioned Mike Santana, TNA World Champion.

He and Nick Nemeth. They had a match for the title, and Nick Nemeth for the second time is your TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Shout out to my God. He got WWE written all over. Yeah, I feel, and we said this a few weeks ago when they let.

Mike Santana Run with, I think it was OTM at NXT. The pop that Mike Santana got. Uh-oh. I was like, ooh, sorry, guys, because he's probably not going to be here very much.

Sound like Joe Hendrik. Yeah, right. So, yeah, so we'll see what happens with Santana, but congratulations to Nick Nemeth. He is your new TNA Worlds. Men's world champion.

Shout out to Zaya Brookside. Yes. Legging lead for the TNA knockouts world champion.

So, a little bit of a youth movement there with Zaya. The Hardys, Matt and Jeff, they reclaim the TNA. World Tag Team Championship. That was amazing. And TNA International Champion, Mustafa Lee.

He defeated Rich Swan in a debuting. And if you didn't know him before WWE, you didn't know Yuha Nation. Who's more commonly known to WWE fans as Apollo Cruz? He had his debut there, and Mustafa Lee. He successfully defended his international championship.

Not a Yeehaw, but a. Uh you nation uh cedric alexander defended the X Division Championship in an Ultimate Next match, which is always fun. Shout out to Amazing Shout out to Amazing Red, who is getting put into the TNA Hall of Fame. And uh, they're also going to have a new knockouts, which is the Women's Division television championship champion.

So, that got announced.

So, that was off slammiversary. That oh, and then Moose defeated Eddie Edwards in a no-surrender match where Moose's son came in. Eddie Edwards was about to pile drive him. Moose's son. Hit him in the ding ding.

Yeah, in the ding ding, and Luce got the dub.

So that was dope, man. And then, you know, we had Forbidden Door, which was always fun. And Kenny Omega defeated Zach Saber Jr. in a tremendous match. And, you know, I want to point this out.

People always lose?

Well, not that, but people will always want Jade Cargill, for instance. People say, oh, someone can't wrestle or they're not a good wrestler. If wrestling was all that mattered. Yeah, then Dean Malenko would be on more Mount Rushmores because if you really just cared about the wrestling, you know, then guys like Malenko would be manage more. You got to sell.

But when it comes to wrestling, Zach Saber Jr. is truly one of the best in the world. And yeah, and he and Kenny Omega put on a banger. You got Moxley. He defeated Bandito to retain the Continental Championship.

My girl Tecla, you know, I've been a Tecla. She's here from the jump. She scares me. And there's something about that I like. She defeated Starlight Kids.

She retained the women's championship and stole her mask. And it looks like we're going to get. Tecla against the winner of the women's Owen Hart tourney, Mercedes Melanet, who defeated Maya World. And so I think we're getting that and all in. Cajun Coke.

Retain the tag team championships. And they had a circular steel cage, which you don't see much. Loved it. That was fantastic. Loved it.

12 men. Little Looney Toonsie. I guess you technically have to say 13 because Lero Rush was in a hockey bag.

So, right. That monster.

So basically, Mark Briscoe's team won, and now Mark Briscoe gets to challenge MJF for the AEW men's shit tonight.

So that's going to be interesting. I love Mark Briscoe. You know I love Mark Briscoe, but there's just no way. Because. I mean because of the the Darby thing just happened.

Well not only that. Will Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland? Oh, yeah. And probably, and you know, I said before, like, I hate to say that was the best match I've ever seen. Yeah.

Truly one of the Best wrestling matches you were going to see. Swerve Strickland and Will Osprey, kind of like. Roman and Seth, sometimes you have your soulmates. Because you can go back years ago and watch those two dance and break dancing in the ring together and then put on. This bloody, violent match that truly you need to take time if you're a wrestling fan to try to find and watch.

And, you know, part of me with everything that. Osprey, how long? It took them to set up this new Osprey with the Death Riders. He has to get out of there with a W. and he he did he he beat swerve so now he gets mj he gets a title match right That's providing MJF is able to get past Mark Briscoe tonight.

But let's be a bigger match. I think we're looking at all in London, MJF. Defending his AEW, the Triple B, AEW World Champion against Bruv. Yeah, the bruv spray. The bruv versus the bruv, if you will.

And it's going to be That match is going to be a banger, bro. It's going to be a banger. And yeah, they do pay. They're still pay PV, they're not PO, they do it right. You rarely feel like, and that's the other thing they're going to give you your money's worth.

That was like over five hours' worth of action, yeah. And I do want to give them credit because. Every time, you know, you might you The criticism I see a lot That even myself, as a viewer, have thought a few times is. How many times am I going to see these two go at it? And you run into that a lot in AEW.

It's like, all right, this is like their fifth time fighting, their whatever time fighting. They make sure it's different. Every time. The only one where I was like... Oh, this this I've seen this before.

When Osprey and Ricochet did, they were basically doing a match that they had had years ago. But a lot of people didn't see that. Exactly, exactly, exactly. But that's only through research that I even knew to look at that. But when I saw Swerve and Osprey, I was like, okay, like.

These two I've seen go at it. I know where they can bring. This one was still different. They brought it. It was still different.

It was still. a different notch and You know, swerve. Swerve takes a lot of flack online, some deserving, some not. You think, like, all right, I've seen this dude take a needle to the face. I've seen the stop using staples on swerve.

Swerve, like, staples and swerve is Popeye and spinach. Like, you, you, you, it don't work. He ain't moving. He loves it. Yeah.

He likes the iron, but. You see him do all these wild things, and you're like, all right, what. What could be next? And there's always a next. And it just goes into respect for their creativity and their ability to even do it.

So I just wanted to shout out that even if you see two names in AEW that you've seen fight before, they know they got to make a difference. They know, man. They know, man. Yeah. So shout out to.

Shout out to the Forbidden Door, and like I said, I'm wherever Swerve goes next, I'm not sure you know, he's kind of out of the title pitcher now, yeah. But he's never going to be far from the title pitcher, you know what I mean? He's never going to be too far, and um. I do miss the old song. I do miss the old song.

That old song really played a part of getting him over the way it did. But he also is a music artist and wants to get no shit off. Yeah, so I'm not mad at that. And then lastly, you know, that just to end the activities that we had, man, we had the Great American Bash. The Great.

And here's something, you know, that if you're not really go back with wrestling, you know, WCW, NWA, the Great American Bash was like their SummerSlam. Starcade was their WrestleMania. The Bash was kind of like a SummerSlam because it was something that carried through the summer. I remember being like 12 years old and just knowing that like. This was an important thing, like the Great American Bash, bro.

It stood for something. And then, you know, once WWE won the wars, all the WCW stuff kind of got put to the side. Yeah. And so I like what NXT is doing. They've taken kind of ownership of some of these things, like the Great American Bash, and tried to make them feel relevant.

Does NXT do Stargate? I believe they do start. I'm not sure. I got, I'm drawing. That's a money name.

That's a money name. I'm drawing a blank right now. I don't know why. I should know this. But yeah, the Great American Bash is something that they've definitely taken a hold of and tried to restore.

And I love the fact that during that. The episode they were giving you flashbacks to the stars who have moved on from NXT. And just show what they got to do while they participated in the Great American Bash.

So I like that. My only, I guess, piece of advice would be like to maybe even go further back than next time. Show like, you know, the Ric Flairs and the Dusty Rhodes and the Nikita Cola, the Ivan Koloffs, and Nikita Colof, the Road Wars, all those battles that made the Great American Bash what it was. Made it great. Yeah, made it great.

So maybe incorporate some footage of that as well. But otherwise, CW. Are you saying? To make the American bash great again? Amen.

Wow, TJ. Hey, but yeah, shout out to the CW. They did a great job of doing that. And that would be my only piece of advice to maybe even go further back to let people know really what this. What the bash is all about, but you know, we had our guy, Tony D, yeah, defended that NXT championship.

He did it, defeated Naruku, and you know, Tony was the victim of one of those fireballs. Yeah, so he's wrestling with one eye, mystic arts. You know, he's got one eye wrapped. He looks like that 1776 poster with the dude who was playing the drums with his head all wrapped and bloody. But Tony D, man, he's a beast, dog.

Uh, Zarya defeated Tatum Paxley to retain the NXT North Women's North American Championship. Let me tell you something. Tatum Paxley and Zarya. Put on a banger.

Okay, again, if you didn't see it, do yourself a favor. Yo, there is something Tatum Paxley. I was a fan of Rosemary and TNA back in the day. Oh, yeah. You know, and who else we ever got to meet Rosemary too?

Rosemary wins that TNA Knockouts TV Championship. Absolutely. I think it might be Marisade, but I like to see Rosemary get the shot. But there's just something about that. It's not quite goth, is it?

It's just, I don't know what it is, but her and Shiloh Hill work so well together. I feel like they got to match me. And I don't mean like in a romantic sense. Keep them. as friends or brother and sister when they move up, but there's something that those two have.

That works. Yeah. But man. Zarya. Chemistry for sure.

They put on a banger. Shiloh defeated Tristan Angels.

Well, you know, I'm a big Wren Sinclair fan. Yeah. Peppy Wren's. She defended the speed championship. She defeated Ariana Grace, which is strange.

Ariana Grace goes from TNA Knockouts World Championship champion to fighting for the speed title, but maybe they're trying to elevate the speed title. Ariana handles herself gracefully. Gracefully. She is a treat, by the way. Saquon Sugars defeated Dion Lennox.

Low-key, we've been talking a little bit about Saquon over the months. That dude. On the mic. That turnbuckle spot. Oh, that was crazy.

Everything he does in the ring, but just on the mic, he's entertaining, is that? And that alone is going to get him over. And the fact that he's money in the ring.

So shout out to Saquon Sugars, man. Because I watch that dude's videos sometimes and just crack up. He's a funny cat. Then our guy, Miles Bourne, defeated another brother of ours, Tavion Heights. He became the NXT North American Championship.

And I. Yeah. I feel like we talked about Roman and Seth. Yeah. Miles Bourne and Tavion Heights.

I'm not saying they're going to be as big as Roman Reigns and Senator Rones, but I feel like the rivalry, two brothers, those two together will always, you can always put those two together and like let it go.

So shout out to Miles and shout out to T. And then. Lady Angle. Lady Angle, new NXT women's champion is Kendall Gray defeated Lola Weiss to win. By the way, Lola Weiss.

Easy there, Damian Priest. But yeah, that was fun. And a few weeks ago, Kendall and Kaylani put on a match that was amazing. Again, if you haven't seen it, check it out. Lola and Kendall, much like Zarya and Tatum, they put on a great match.

Bro. The women's division on the main roster feels, you know, especially with Briganca not there for as long as she's been, and I mean, Liv really not defending the title at all, it feels weird. The ladies from NXT, once they get bumped up, the ones that we know right now, it is going to be. They're going to need to step it up. Yeah.

Because when Kendall gets up there, it's going to be a problem. It's going to be an obvious gap. You know, an obvious gap. The same way we felt when Viceroy went up. Yep.

And so, yeah, it's very. The cupboard is not bare down there, by the way. The cupboard is not bare.

So it is, it's exciting to see. I'm a fan. Everyone seems to be a fan. I don't see much negative press about the lady. No, they've got some great.

Women down there, they got some great women coming up. You know, you got the Kendall Grays, the Lola Vices, you know, of course, Jada Parker, Kalani Jordan. But then you also, you know, you've got Callie Armstrong. She's going to be making her way up. And we got to give a shout out to our girl.

Hold on now. We got to give a shout out. Hold on now. I know y'all saw her. I know y'all sorry.

Oh, Mickey. Nikki Blackheart. Martinez. Yes, Martinez. Nikki Martinez.

She on the big TV. She definitely made her debut. She attacked Tatum, which makes her a heel. I don't know how I feel about her being a heel. She says it's your friend.

Yeah, I mean, we're as friendly as for someone who don't really know somebody. I'm his friend. But yeah, again, we had Nikki Blackheart on. Two weeks after that picture came on Twitter, that blew up.

So, yeah, we consider her family and friends. And so it was awesome to see. You really, and I don't, I mean, this, I'm going to say this word, and it's normally people look at it negatively, but obviously, this isn't a negative. You really got to see how big Nikki is. Come on, now.

When she was in there with Tatum. Yeah. Like, because you always see Nikki. I saw her in CCW. And yeah, you've seen the pictures and stuff.

But I've seen Tatum against almost every woman that's come through NXT the last few years.

So now I have a good gauge of size-wise. And Nikki is just a power spauer. Powerhouse specimen. And I got to get on the IWC because I always bunch of bitches out here. You know, she picks Tatum up.

Shout out to Lex Luger, had a human torture rack, and she started to hop, which I thought was amazing because never saw. She kind of lost her bounce, went down to a knee, and power back up. And people kept going, oh, she butched. Oh, she butched. If Tatum's foot touches that ground.

It's ruined. She lifted her back up. My point being the transitional with you start with that and the botch. We got to start with the botch. It wasn't the botch.

You know how incredibly powerful you have to be to have another human being on your back. Lose your balance. Her knee almost literally touched the canvas. She was able to steady herself and scoop herself back up and continue. And you want to get, you have the audacity to work your thumbs to say something about a botch?

No. That's sheer power right there. That's one of your future. Stars right there. And you know what?

I got to be honest. I'm so glad she didn't fall. Yeah. But.

Because boy, you look so much more powerful that you didn't let that bother you. No, she's looking hard cam fierce. Yes. My God. Yeah, we've been waiting for this for a while.
