This is the Old Trailblazer broadcast. This is Pastor Albert Pendorfus, the Old Trailblazer, riding out again on Old Dan. Come on, Dan. Let's go. Let's get up. Got to get a getting and get back in the trail under the load here.

Get back in the saddle and get the message going out to a lost and dying world. We're looking at this study on the coming, the soon coming, the imminent coming of our Blessed Lord. And I wish every one of you would read that 15th chapter of 1 Corinthians and let it speak for itself. If every time the church met in worship, they would stop and praise the Lord for His first coming, for dying as their substitute, for His shed blood as their only defense and foundation of their salvation, and then wait for His glorious return. We would begin to have some influence upon this satanic world system of which Satan is the God and there would come an awakening that would shake the foundations of hell. No, the average preacher today wants a little silk handkerchief religion that will not disturb him nor embarrass his unsaved friends.

No, will not interfere with his golf game on Sunday afternoon. None of those same. Oh, may the Lord pity us in this hour. My friend, do you have any spiritual knowledge at all of what we have in this nation of ours today? Not the world. Let's don't talk about the world.

Let's talk about America. We're living in a non-religious world, well a religious world but not saved individual. We're living in a religious generation now.

Paul writes to the Philippian church. There he tells us that our citizenship is in heaven. That is, we're citizens of a heavenly country which is heaven, even from which we also look for the Lord, who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body according to the working whereby he is able to subdue all things unto himself.

Yes, yes, my friend, that's emphatic. The Lord's coming. He's coming. He's coming to change these vile bodies of ours which mean the bodies of our limitation. Did you ever stop to think how limited we are? Here's a person with a will like iron but whose body is too weak to contain it. He cannot accomplish what he wills to accomplish because he's weak in body and everywhere he turns he meets physical hindrances. But my friend, listen, when our Lord shall come back and we shall receive our new bodies, we shall be able to accomplish all that the Lord wills to accomplish. I long for his coming that I may receive my new body, oh, the old trailblazers, weary and tired and worn out. I used to hear Pastor Shelton say that when he was quite elderly and I was a young man and I wondered what he's talking about, being tired all the time.

Well, I know what he's talking about now, my friend. Did you know that when the Lord comes from heaven the second time, his power, that same power by which he rose from the dead, that same power which he upholds the universe, by this same power he'll change these bodies of our daily limitation and fashion them like unto his glorious body, sawn in weakness, raised in power. So then we cry, our heart cries, our whole being cries out, come Lord Jesus, come. Then we can say with the Apostle Paul in the 8th chapter of Romans again, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time is not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. You who are not willing to take your place with the crucified, buried and risen Lord, you who are not willing to be identified with the shame of the cross, you who are not willing to take your place with God despised you, you will never know the glories of the resurrection of Christ, no. You will never know what it means to reign with him throughout eternity, but you will have your portion with the hypocrites and with the scribes and the Pharisees there in eternity. You who say I cannot give up my friends for Christ, you who say I cannot give up my pleasures for Christ, you who say I'm not willing to suffer the shame and the offense of the cross, you'll never know what it means to walk with the Lord, no, no, you won't ever know.

No, you won't ever know what it is to be clothed in the righteousness of the saints with the psalms of victory. And listen, as we walk the streets of that heavenly city, Christ said, I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you by force, that where I am, there you may be also. Some sixty years later, the Apostle John, a prisoner of the Roman government, confined to the prisonment there on the Isle of Patmos, saw that city descending out of heaven from God as a bride adorned for her husband, and he cried out, wouldn't you like to hear that? Come Lord, come Lord Jesus, come, come quickly. Now let's notice this fact about his second coming.

In the letter to the Colossians, we're told that we died with Christ on the cross as our substitute, and that he paid our sin debt in full. Let me ask you something, are you listening to the old Trailblazer? Many, many, many of you have written to me and said, Trailblazer, I really appreciate the message, I enjoy the message, I listen every day, I get up early and listen. Well let me ask you something, are you a child of the Lord? Are you saved? Folks fuss at me for saying that, but I just ask folks, are you saved? You know, I ask you, are you saved? I told you about this occasion, the pastor went to a meeting one night in her tent, and the lady met him at the service and told him she appreciated the message.

She said, my husband's coming tomorrow night, I'd like to meet him. So sure enough, the next night they came and at the service she brought her husband out and said, I want to induce you to my husband, and the pastor just kindly asked him, and he had spoken to her a minute or two, but he said, sir, are you a Christian? Are you saved?

And he had a way of doing that, it wasn't offensive, it was just a way of being true. And she snapped at him right quick, said, well I guess he is, he's a Baptist preacher. He said, well my friend, that's no indication that you're saved. That does not mean that you're saved just because you're a Baptist preacher.

He said they huffed off and never come back. Oh, my friend, are you ashamed? Are you ashamed or afraid for somebody going to ask you, are you saved? I guess the Lord just gives me enough gumption, I guess you call it, to ask folks, are you saved?

I do, I hold up my Bible here in my congregation Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, and I say, this is God's word, believe it and be saved, disbelieve it and go to hell for your trouble. And I have folks complain about that. You know why? Because folks are ashamed. Folks are just ashamed to be identified with the Lord.

You know, I understand that, I was in a way when I was lost, didn't want nobody to know I was lost. Oh, my friend, but listen, you know the Lord knows how to bring you down. And the Lord don't never expose you to the world. You know the Lord never showed anybody in my heart but me. I'm the only individual living who knows my own heart besides the Lord. He didn't show it to my wife, he didn't show it to my family, he didn't show it to the preacher. No, he showed it to me that I might repent of it and turn to the Lord.

But now listen, listen, let's go back. In the letter to the Colossians we're told that we died with Christ as our substitute, that we are buried with him as our representative and rose again ascending to the right hand of God, that he is there as our life, our spiritual and eternal life. Christ is our life, my friend, everything we have is tied up in Christ.

Therefore we are hid in him and he is hid in us and he is hid in God and we are secure forevermore. He says, set your affections on things above and not on the things of the earth. The Bible is pretty clear, isn't it, how we're supposed to live.

You know, it's a book of instruction. It tells us, it tells us exactly, it says set your affections not on things above, not on the world, my friend. I know the world that we're living in, you do too, my friend. I believe if you know anything about your soul, welfare, you know that this world is a terrible place. Oh, we have crime and degradation on every hand. We have, now we have the perverseness of the homosexuals and transgenders and all of those things. And we have our politicians wanting to, wanting to make the bathrooms where anybody and everybody can go in the same bathroom, some pervert in the bathroom with our little girls. My friend, hell won't be hot enough for them fellows. I mean, my friend, you don't have to be smart to know that the Lord don't condone those things. But we got this world that we're living in now, it's so mixed up and crazy. Politicians think they have to influence, do those things to get the influence of a political block, they call it.

But my friend, hell won't be hot enough. I'm telling you, my friend, we need to take a stand. If that's going on in your community, take a stand against it.

Call your mayor, call your police chief, tell them, tell them get straight. Don't let those things happen. And then we see those pedophiles being able to go in the bathroom. You know, that's right, that's right.

Someone told me not long ago, they was in a big department store here in our city, and they come out, they went in the bathroom, when they come out, this was a lady, said they come out, there's a man in the stall next to her. Oh, my friend, right here, right here, right around the corner. But my friend is gonna, the Lord knows all about it. He says we are complete in Christ, and as our substitute, carried our sins far away and left them there, complete in Him as He arose from the grave as our justifier. Have you ever been justified?

What does that mean? It means that you're no longer under condemnation. You've been cleansed and pardoned. Do you know what a pardon is, my friend? I see where the governor pardons hardened criminals every now and then.

That's not my business, I don't have nothing to do with it. Oh, but my friend, I've been pardoned by the grace of God, all because of Him, and we are complete in Him as our life. When He shall appear, then we shall be complete with Him in glory, being made in the image of the Son of God. That's all gonna take place when our Lord comes. That's what we're speaking of, the soon coming, the sure coming, the imminent coming of our blessed Lord back to this earth again. That's not a fair tale, my friend.

Oh, it's not a fair tale. And I told you, we're not, those of us who know the Lord, we're not standing out in the big road looking up in the sky. No, sir, because the scripture says He may come as a thief in the night. We won't know until it happens. Now, you know when the Lord's gonna come? That's exactly when He's gonna come, when the last individual has been made a child of God. God has a number that He elected before the foundation of this world.

There you go, Trailblazer, talking about that election junk. Well, Peter told those bunch, he said, Ye, talking to them, he said, Ye are a chosen generation. What does that mean, my friend? Except the Lord chose a number, a number that no man can number. And I don't care what the skeptics say or the agnostics say, and those folks say, We are a chosen generation. I know this, if the Lord hadn't have chosen me, I never would have come. If the Lord hadn't have stopped me one day on my road to hell, I never would have come.

I didn't care about nothing. But the Lord, by the Holy Spirit, moved my heart, probed my heart. Let me see that I was alienated, separated from God, and that a decision for Jesus will not make you fit for the kingdom of heaven. Oh, my friend, our time is running out. I wish I had another hour this morning. I'm just getting started. We'll be back tomorrow with another broadcast from the old Trailblazer.

Let me ask you, would you, while I have a minute, would you help us with the broadcast just a little bit, if you're able? And I know some folks are not able, but the Lord says, The tithes is the Lord's. A person called me the other day and warned me. I said, Yes, sir, tithes is the Lord's. It's not yours. It's the Lord's. But you asked the Lord to lead you.

Would you do that? That's all I asked you to do. Remember my mailing address, the old Trailblazer, Post Office Box 1810, Walker, Louisiana, 70785.
