This episode is about peace. In a world fraught with war, anger and conflict, it is inevitable that people will seek out solace and peace.

For more on this, we take you now to the sage of The Masculine Journey and pickleball savant, Harold. Here he is with some words about peace for your consideration. It's a topic that is missing in most of the world today.

The topic is peace and the absence of it is very much in the forefront of the news if you are unfortunate enough to turn it on and have to hear it. I want to share some scripture. John 14 27 out of the New English. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.

And then John 16 33. I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering. But take courage.

I have conquered the world. Romans 14 17. For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For the one who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by people. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for building up one another. My thought is that worldly peace is mostly characterized as the absence of open conflict. However, the true Christ follower will always be in conflict with the world.

Our peace thusly derives from Jesus promise. There you have it folks some important scriptures to consider. So remember, if you are lost, seek out Jesus, for he is the way. If you are in search of answers, seek out Jesus for he is the truth. And if you desire life eternal, seek out Jesus for he is the life. Thank you for joining me on For Your Consideration.

Before we go, let's hear a little bit more from the Band of Brothers. One of the things you said, Danny, the difference of, yes, it's okay to have the attitude, Jesus has got it. Yes, you leave it there with him, but you also have to say, God, what do you need from me? Right? Because of what a lot of times people do is, well, Jesus has got it.

I don't have to do anything. Well, he may be calling you to do some things. Darrell Bock That's taking the let go and let God too far. Dr. Andy Breshears Right. Yeah. It's like I'm absolved of everything. And that's not really what that is. It's yes, I trust in him, but also have to continue to stay engaged and with him to say, what do you need from me in the midst of this?

What should I be doing? It's the analogy of the guy who's in the boat with God. And the guy's rowing and God is steering. And he says, God, this is great. Get out here in his boat. And he says, can I steer for a while?

God says, sure. But you got to remember one thing. I don't row. So we've always got something to do. You can steer the boat, but if nobody's rowing, you're not going anywhere. Or maybe float around in a circle or something. Dr. Andy Breshears Yeah. About most of it. Dr. Darrell Bock Yeah.
