This is the Truth Network. In this podcast, you can expect to laugh and smile with godly men who want nothing more than to honor and glorify God. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the Joyride. Hey, Joyriders.

New week, new Joyride. You know, friendship is very important here on the Masculine Journey. When you listen to the shows for any amount of time, it's easy to see the brotherhood that exists between the guys.

It's one of the reasons why they call themselves the Band of Brothers. With that in mind, on this week's Joyride, we celebrate friendship and what makes a strong friendship. For example, patience. Showing patience to a friend is a nice gesture that should be appreciated from all parties involved. You ever have a paper route?

I helped a guy once. Okay. Well, tuck it like you would through a paper. When your arm gets here, just let go. How do I catch it?

Just stand there and stick your glove out in the air. I'll take care of it. About time, Benny.

My claws are going out of style. There they are, Schwitz. Shut up. Understanding.

Understanding has to be a cornerstone of any friendship. So they get fired again, huh? Oh, yeah.

They always freak out when they leave the scene of an accident, you know? Yeah, well, I lost my job, too. Man, you are one pathetic loser. And last but not least, how about a sense of humor? Any friendship must have a strong sense of humor. Welcome to Masculine Journey After Hours, and we are talking about a really interesting topic.

I know I say that a lot, and I'm always glad that you're with us, and I am. And those are legitimate things, but if one of us finds it interesting, then by definition it's interesting. True?

Right? But it's very unique. You don't have to have a quorum or anything? Yeah, well, it's kind of like the jokes I tell. As long as I laugh at them, I at least got a laugh, right? So, you know, that counts. So we are talking about – Andy, do you want to share with us what we're talking about today? No, you go ahead.

Okay, I'll do it. We are talking about the core desires of the Father's heart. No, not your earthly father, right?

But your Heavenly Father. What are the core desires of our Heavenly Father's heart? And so if you listen to the first show, we covered some things on it. If you didn't, go back and listen to it.

It's a great show, and you're going to hear some things. And we're going to talk about more of those desires today. And often our desires, our healthy, good desires, are always given to us right from God, right?

And so we mirror a lot of his desires as we get down to it. And so, Andy, you actually have the first clip in this segment? Okay, cool. So this is from The Voyage of the Dawn Trader. I haven't seen this movie, but it's from The Chronicles of Narnia, which I've seen the first one.

Get a DVD player. Yeah, exactly. Good one there. So from the guys at Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road.
