Time for a new joyride. This week, the guys are talking about how deception can ensnare you in the situations that you don't want to be in. So with that in mind... Oh, one sec. Hey man, what you up to? Nah, I'm recording right now. What's up? Yeah, yeah, I hear him playing. Well, you know, considering it's only been a few weeks, he doesn't sound too bad. A piano recital? This weekend, huh? I don't know, man. You think that's a good idea?

I mean, he just started practicing. Well, yeah, I suppose music does run in your family, whatever that means. Fine. Yeah, fine.

That's fine. How long is the recital? Two hours? Argh.

Consecutively? Oh, that's awesome. No, no, I'm not just saying that.

Probably. Yeah, that's fine. Listen, I gotta get back to work. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'll see you Saturday.

Oh, I am so excited too. Alright man, talk to you later. Well, joyriders, lesson learned. Don't let deception get you into bad situations.

Now, where can I buy some earplugs? Well, you're taking it in a direction that I actually wanted to go next. What do you do to try to counteract what the enemy is doing? What things do you do?

And that's one thing they can do, right? Not what do I feel, what do I think, what do I really know? And start there. That's a tool you can use to help.

So what else can we use or what else do you use? Praying. And not just praying, but praying daily the blood of Christ between me and you, between me and all peoples, between me and obviously the lives of the enemy. And praying that blood of Christ over his ability to spin the truth.

I mean, as Danny was bringing up and Robby said, it could very well be the truth. And, you know, Abraham knew exactly what God told him. You're going to be a father of many nations. David knew.

You're going to be a king. Other people have known. We look at it in our lives and we'll go, I mean, yeah, I believe in God and I know he loves me, but I don't have a destination, you know, that he's promised this is going to happen for me. And so I can't compare it to that. So I'd like to have faith about what God's told me.

I'm just not sure what it is. Which brings up the reason why you need a band of brothers and not just any band of brothers. I mean, it can't be your favorite crackheads, right? It needs to be a band of brothers that are all walking in truth, are being vulnerable with you, brave with you, truthful with you, different things.
