Welcome, fellow adventurers, to the Masculine Journey Joyride Podcast. This is a brand-new show from the guys you know.
I'm talking, of course, about the Band of Brothers. My name is Keith, and I'm the producer for Masculine Journey and Masculine Journey After Hours. In this podcast, you will hear funny stories, exchanges, and thought-provoking moments that will amuse you, make you smile, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ in your journey of life.
Hey, Joyriders, glad you're here. So this week, we have a past clip from an episode of the Masculine Journey After Hours. Okay, haha, that's pretty funny, K-Bot. Good one.
So like I was saying, the clip this week is from an episode way back in 2021. K-Bot, come on, man. Look, I appreciate the effort, I do, but we're not doing that this week, okay? Let's focus. Now, what's wrong McFly? Chicken? Hey, I'm not gonna let you bait me, okay?
I'm not falling for it. I'm sorry, everyone. Look, we had movie night last night and K-Bot is a little overzealous about a certain movie franchise. So with that being said, this week's clip is all about Back to the Future.
I should have never showed him those movies. Well, I was just thinking about as a boy, I know you can't tell from my accent, but I grew up in the country. I always wanted to explore the woods. What was just beyond the tree line fascinates me. Now, we've moved to King and yesterday morning, I come out to the truck and I hear a turkey call across the road.
I thought, wonder what's beyond the tree line. So that's the adventure. It doesn't sound like a whole lot, but... Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble. It sounds like him.
Yeah, it does. It's that time of year. I've never been much of a hunter or anything, but I love to explore new places. And a year or so ago, I took up hiking for a while and I'm such in good physical condition, but shaped like a pear. Exploring new trails and stuff like that just makes my heart come alive. And I didn't realize how much it did until I started hiking in like the Ura forest before we moved up to King.
And now I'm looking forward to finding other places to hike. And it does make you come alive. So even at almost 80, he's not as old as you might think. I'm not 80. Harold. It's still, I know him well enough to know he does a lot of playing.
Um, don't you Harold? Right now, pickleball is the big deal. And if you don't know anything about pickleball, go to YouTube and you can look it up. It's a fast growing sport.
Or come to the Y in Moxville and ask for Harold and they'll point you to the pickleball court and you know, away you go. But one of the things I was thinking about a few minutes ago is that I was able to combine two of these things and one, the adventure and rescuing the beauty because my adventure used to be riding my motorcycle with my sweetheart on behind me. And I particularly loved it when we got to ride out in New Mexico. I can one up your story about the hailstones because I was riding my motorcycle on a little mountain curvy road on hail. That's that's dicey. That will that will keep your attention well. So you were sort of a hail's angel. So from the guys on Masculine Journey, I'm Keith and we'll see you down the road. This is the Truth Network.
