Welcome, fellow adventurers, to the Masculine Journey Joyride Podcast. This is a brand-new show from the guys you know. I'm talking, of course, about the Band of Brothers. My name is Keith, and I'm the producer for Masculine Journey and Masculine Journey After Hours.
In this podcast, you will hear funny stories, exchanges, and thought-provoking moments that will amuse you, make you smile, and draw you closer to Jesus Christ in your journey of life. Okay, Keith, this is it. It all comes down to this, a dream-like scenario, bottom of the ninth, two outs, bases loaded, winning run on third, and we're one hit away from winning it all. Here's the picture. I got this. Yes! It's going! Going! Go on, go! No! It was a dream!
Ugh! Dream? This week's topic, Robby, it's not sports injuries, right? It's sports wounds, like father wounds, but there's all kinds of wounds, coach wounds.
Yeah. You have the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. You know, we've been there, and what did that feel like?
And, oh my gosh, where was God in the midst of all that? You know, we're not going to be talking about the time we twisted our ankle playing basketball, right? That's an injury. All right, we're talking about the wounding, the wounding of a heart, the wounding of the soul, our emotions, all those kinds of things that, you know, men don't typically talk about, but they actually happen. All right, so we're going to talk a little bit about it. Yeah, if it was an injury show, we'd just give Robby the mic, and all of us would go home. Yeah, we'd give him the mic, and it would be a series. It would be a pillar, you know, tongue, leg, finger. You take a pick. So from the guys at Masculine Journey, I'm Keith, and we'll see you down the road. This is the Truth Network.
