This is The Drive with Josh Graham Podcast. Three internet sensations, guys! Tune into The Drive weekday afternoons, 3 to 7 on WSJS.

So glad to have you on the Tuesday Drive. It's WSJS, News Talk Sports for the Triad, where we are exactly nine days away from the NFL Draft. That means we're only nine days away from those sweet, sweet chimes playing at Lambeau Field. And with that in mind, the draft picture for the Carolina Panthers is becoming clearer and clearer. Over the last couple of days, rumors started to surface that the Panthers' preference in this draft would be to trade back from the number 8 pick. And when Panthers GM Dan Morgan met with reporters earlier today, that sentiment seemed to be affirmed.

But don't just take it from me. Here was Dan essentially saying that the Panthers are open for business. I don't really want to get into the specifics on where I would trade back to, but I think we're definitely open to trading back and acquire more picks. I think we're going to be open to all possibilities, let's put it that way.

Let's put it that way. This team has a lot of needs, and trading back would allow them to address more of those needs. And number 8, it seems that the number 8 pick would be too rich of a pick to take an offensive player there. It'd be too much of a reach to go offensive player, or to take a safety even, which is a need for Carolina. But if they were to move back more to the 10-15 range, maybe then you could take the tight end out of Penn State Tyler Warren. Or you could take the safety out of George Malachi Starks. Or you could go wide receiver, even.

Like Ted McMillan or Matt Goldin from Texas. You could take a pure pass rusher like the edge from Marshall or Texas A&M or Mikel Williams from Georgia lining up across from Jalen Walker. But okay, in order to move out of the pick, somebody has to move into it. Josh, what makes you think a team's going to want to do that, to take the Panthers pick at 8? It's going to require Shadore Sanders falling in this draft. If Shadore falls out of the top 5, mainly falls past the New York Giants number 3, Shadore meeting with the Giants in Boulder working out for them exclusively over the last couple of days. If that happens, Carolina's pick could be an ideal trade destination for quarterback needy teams.

That's because of news in the last week. The Saints giving Carolina a great gift. Derek Carr, shoulder injury. Don't know if he's going to be available this season. And if he wasn't available, Diana Russini reporting from the Athletic that with Kellen Moore, an offensive-minded coach, in his first year and them having a top 10 pick, they want a quarterback. They are pursuing a quarterback. So if you're a team that likes Shadore Sanders and sees him fall out of the top 5 and says, hey, I might want Shadore Sanders, you kind of know that if he falls to number 9, the Saints are going to pull the trigger there.

You've got to get him front in New Orleans. And Carolina has the number 8 pick to the Saints' 9th pick. So that could be the way Carolina moves back. And it seems that's the one player teams might be willing to trade up for. However, in saying that, there's always the shock when it comes to quarterback and teams reaching. Last year, nobody expected that the Atlanta Falcons were going to be taking Michael Pennix Jr. with the number 8 pick. Who's to say that a team might fall in love with Jalen Milro from Alabama and decide, ah, we need to get our quarterback. Let's trade up. And Carolina is the team that wants to trade back. If it's not a quarterback, it's not going to be, the tackles aren't special enough where teams are going to want to trade up to the number 8 pick and give up capital in order to get to that spot for a tackle. Or Ashton Ginty, this running back class is so deep that you're not going to want to do that. No, you'd rather settle for Omarion Hampton from North Carolina before you sacrifice capital to move up and take the running back from Boise State. So, Shadore Sanders falling, that's going to be key. And if it doesn't happen, Carolina could be stuck picking at number 8. And if being stuck seems to be too harsh of language, too strong of language that you wouldn't prefer, it's hypothetical language straight out of the mouth of Dan Morgan earlier today.

Listen. Listen, at number 8, if we get stuck there and we're not able to trade back, if we're not in love with the player there at number 8 and we can't trade back, then we're going to be ready for all different types of scenarios. So, there's some really good players that we like, you know, it's just not one position, but we feel like it's, you know, it's a good draft and there's a lot of talent. So, we're going to be ready for all scenarios. Let's read between the lines of saying that though, Will. Why would Dan Morgan, the ultimate thinker, the ultimate, you know, that guy who doesn't get nervous, why would that guy say that? Why would he say there's even a scenario? There's so many good players in this draft.

How could you get stuck? You would not even suggest that you get stuck unless you felt there was a cutoff point where after you get past, see, if you're not wanting to take an offensive player, you don't have anyone valued that high and you're not taking a quarterback, you're thinking Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, Mason Graham from Michigan and that might be it among the defensive players. If those three players are all gone before Carolina picks at 8, maybe that's Dan Morgan's nightmare scenario where, okay, we might have to reach on a guy and it might be the chalky pick, Jalen Walker, who doesn't have a set position, the edge from the Bulldogs. It might be you reaching on a player such as Malachi Starks, the safety from Georgia, or Will Johnson, the corner from Michigan, or reaching on another one of those more pure edge rushers we mentioned a short while ago.

Carolina's preference seems to be trading back from that number 8 pick. On X, at Josh Graham Show if you want in, at WSJS Radio, that's why we're streaming video in addition to YouTube and Twitch. Will Dalton, the executive producer of this show. WD, your movie this week, Happy Gilmore, crazy that you had not seen that. Your movie for next week because of draft day, and you had already seen it, movies that are featuring the cast, somebody in the cast of draft day, also Kevin Costner, The Untouchables, Frank Langello, Dave, Jennifer Garner, going on 30, Chadwick Bowe has been 42 on this Jackie Robinson day.

Which of the four are you rooting for to win this poll? You know, I know you don't like the movie. I would like to watch 42 just to find out why you don't like the movie. I'd like to know. Vote at Josh Graham Show and at WSJS Radio and we'll figure out by the end of the show which movie it will be for next week. Shifting things to, oh, the 6th man of Tar Heel basketball, B.

Dot a guest on today's show. Let's talk about the Tar Heel football team. Last night we learned that the North Carolina Tar Heels pulled out of the Nico sweepstakes. By the way, it looks like Tulane might be out also based on today's headlines from on three.

Seems that Nico is being made an example of in college football over the last week. But does that mean the Tar Heels feel that they are set at the quarterback position? No, it would seem because there are several reports connecting North Carolina to South Alabama transfer QB Gio Lopez.

And if we're being honest about this, that would be a lukewarm signing for Carolina. To start on a positive note with Lopez, he is likely an upgrade over their quarter, their current quarterback room. He, the stats look good. 18 passing touchdowns last year, seven rushing touchdowns, only five interceptions.

We saw it up close. Thursday night at the Rock, Kid Brewer Stadium, Gio Lopez is still running over the at defense. Two passing touchdowns, one rushing, over 100 rushing yards in the game, nearly 300 passing yards.

They hung 45 on the Mountaineers that night. He's better than Max Johnson. He's better than Purdue transfer Ryan Brown.

And this, if you bring him in, that would mean you wouldn't have to play the pride of Kernersville, East Forsyth High School, Bryce Baker right out of the gate, true freshman. But on the other hand, Gio Lopez isn't as talented as Nico is. So when you put the idea of bringing in Lopez side by side with Nico from Tennessee, it doesn't, it's not the home run out of the park type of transfer you want at that position. And that tracks with the rest of this transfer class.

See, Nico, he's a proven commodity. He might not be the greatest SEC quarterback, but he was good enough to take Tennessee to the playoff. And that's the SEC we're talking about. Lopez is playing in the group of five. He's playing in the Sunbelt, all due respect. And Carolina had the resources to bring in Nico.

They're choosing not to. And the concern for Carolina this year, this is broadly, it's not just a quarterback position, is that there aren't enough proven stars on this roster. It would seem that the excitement that comes along with Belichick and the talk about his girlfriend and all the exposure and all these things, oh, Belichick Productions, that's in the news today.

Oh, where's it from? The email signature. It seems there's so much talk about North Carolina, what's happening with Belichick and company that no one's talking about the actual roster. And maybe that's by design. Maybe Belichick wants everyone talking about his girlfriend and wants everyone talking about, oh, he's on McAfee and look at Mike Lombardi and look at the rings and the social media. So that we're not talking about, well, who's the best player on this team? They don't have an Amarian Hampton. They don't have Drake May. They don't have Sam Howe. They don't have Diamie Brown or Da... I don't see, they don't have Javonte Williams. We don't see the star on this team. And that, what Carolina fans will say, well, we got a coach who's going to coach them up and develop them.

Bill Belichick probably agrees that the Jimmys and Joes are much more important than the Xs and Ls. And right now with Carolina, it's hard to look at this roster. You see a lot of transfers, 19 of them coming in, and there are more that are coming in from Rice and from lesser programs, not highly graded recruits, than the guys you look at and say, yep, that's a dude.

But bringing it back to Lopez, adding him, it might add some insight to what Carolina's offense is going to look like. Lopez, a mobile quarterback, as is Purdue transfer Ryan Brown. North Carolina completely locked down their spring practice. We, aside from Saturday where they let you watch the practice, have not seen them practice, have not talked to Bill Belichick. He hasn't talked to reporters aside from the first week, have not talked to an assistant coach the entire practice. No interviews done by assistant coaches. The players haven't talked at all.

They don't even have jersey numbers. So Max Brown, he can move a little. We know that. Bryce Baker, we know that as well, can move.

Lopez can't. So maybe the quarterback, it's fair to say at this point, what we know about it is going to be a real part of the run game for Bill Belichick's team. That's all we got.

Okay, the poll question's out. Which movie Will should be watching next week that he had not seen in honor of draft day? Because next week we have actors and actresses featured in these movies from draft day. You have the Kevin Costner movie, The Untouchables, Jennifer Garner, 13 Going on 30, 42.

It is Jackie Robinson day as well. The late Chadwick Boseman in that role. And then Dave featuring Frank Langello, who's been a good character actor for a long time. Brings us to this week's movie. W.D., the stars aligned and folks are mad at you because you had never seen Happy Gilmore before.

They are very disappointed in me. It's crazy. But last week it was Masters week. It was the Florida Gators winning a title. And now you know why that is significant.

Mm hmm. Related to, we didn't want to spoil that for you. Related to this movie. And on top of that, they're making a sequel that's gonna come out on Netflix later this year.

A trailer went out in the last couple of weeks. Adam Sandler reprising his role as Happy Gilmore. So let's see what you thought of it this week at the movies. Unless you're talking about Star Wars. Movies aren't exactly Will's thing, but that's about to change because Josh can't stand it anymore. This is at the movies with Will Dalton. This movie deserves more than four categories, but the four categories we have what you liked, what you didn't like. Best quote. Rotten Tomatoes score.

We'll see if you can get within five on that 100 point scale. W. D. I don't need to ask if you like this movie. I love you would like this movie. This is one of my favorite movies. I'm not ashamed to say it. What did you like most about Happy Gilmore?

Well, let me just get this out of the way. I was a fan of Julie. What's her last name? Julie Bowen. I was a fan of her work. She's still this movie. See, in the nineties, a lot of actresses or a lot of people in culture had very what we would describe to be mom haircuts, and she had one and still looked great.

She's been on Modern Family for the last 15 years now, and she still looks great in her mid fifties. Shout out to Julie Bowen. Had to get that out of the way first. You didn't have to, but yes, yes, I did. So I also, even though the one thing that I knew about this movie going into it was Bob Barker's in it. Yes, even knowing that most iconic scene in the movie. Even knowing that it still was the funniest scene of the movie to me, and I laugh out loud while watching it.

It was fantastic. Here's the thing that I don't think you have a grasp for. In the nineties, in the early two thousands even as well before television took off when you were homesick. This Price is Right. When you're in college, like a lot of people watch Days of Our Lives, but 10 a.m. you turn on The Price is Right.

Yep. So there there's this element of like seeing you're seeing Bob Barker in this movie, not dressed in a suit and holding that microphone and cursing and getting in a fight. It's hard to capture how shocking that was the first time you saw in that era, in that period. It'd be like seeing your grade school teacher in Walmart put on steroids.

It's like, whoa, this is weird seeing you here. But you're right, it's iconic. I had two things written down that this is Adam Sandler's best movie. It best captures the full Sandler experience. If you were going to put like in a time capsule, who was Adam Sandler? What is the essence of Sandler? I think this movie is it. Also Shooter McGavin might be the greatest sports movie character of all time. Like really Shooter McGavin is, I mean, certainly the best movie sports movie villain.

That's what I want. Yeah, every I'll put them above. What's the name of Cuba Gooding Jr's character and Jerry Maguire? Oh, I'd put him above him.

Gosh, what was his name? The wide receiver Rod Tidwell 85. I'd put him above Rod Tidwell. I'd put him above Jerry Maguire, like every piece of it.

And when you rewatch this movie, you just see new things you didn't see before. Like when you're first introduced to him, he's on stage as like the guest at the Waterbury open to welcome everybody. And his back is turned. His back is turned from everybody sitting there until he's introduced.

The way he gives a TV interview. Oh man, folks in Portland, they're going to make me look good. Try to keep me here.

Oh, I love Portland. Uh, yes, the wink and the wink and the finger gun. It's incredible. The white sweater he had perfectly wrapped around his neck during the, uh, the home auction, the, the house auction, all of it, all of it is fabulous.

Shooter McGavin's just so good. What didn't you like about this movie? I struggled to find anything I dislike about this movie. What did you like? What did you dislike?

I agree with that. It is difficult to find something you don't like about a movie like this, but when I did find something, it stuck out to me. So the color commentator on the broadcast looked for Vern Lundquist. Yes, he looked Vern as usual, did fantastic. And this guy looks so ESPN, he looks so professional.

He's got the light look when he's got his, he's got his pen and everything. All he does is nod at everything Vern said and look back up at the camera. He doesn't say anything. He doesn't provide any color. He doesn't say a word about the entire movie. And it turns out based on like a quick internet search, that was Adam Sandler's college roommate at NYU.

Hey, you could be in the movie, but you can't say anything. You just nod along at what Vern Lundquist is saying. He nailed the look.

I'll give him that. We had Vern Lundquist on this show once upon a time, and that man has broadcast some of the greatest moments in sports history. The Leitner shot, Jack Nicklaus's putt in 86, the kick six, the Iron Bull.

Oh yeah. So many great moments. He told us the thing that more people point out to him from his career, when they see him in an airport, when they see him out in public, is this movie. And he says people will just yell at him across the street, who the hell is Happy Gilmore? The way he played it straight the entire movie is so great with the commentary.

Where he's like, Happy Gilmore is going to keep playing after being hit by a car. Which brings me to what I didn't like, which is the Joe Flaherty, you jackass heckler. I didn't like that guy. You didn't like that? I didn't like that guy. It bums me out.

That's hilarious. Because that's the part that takes me out of the movie because Happy immediately gets that guy thrown out when he says jackass in his backswing and everybody else hears it and he's immediately out of there. And what's even more implausible than that at a golf tournament?

Now, it feels so stupid to nitpick this kind of movie. Him driving a car? Yeah. Anybody who's been to a golf tournament knows. On the course?

Like the Wyndham, you can't park within two miles of the course. So someone driving out and hitting him with an actual Volkswagen was a little ridiculous. A little. This might take up the rest of the segment. Best quote from Happy Gilmore.

If I saw myself in clothes like that, I'd have to kick my own ass. Yeah. Shout out to Ben Stiller. Yeah.

For his role. Yeah. You just pulled landscaping duty. Anybody else's fingers hurt? Hey, my girlfriend's dead.

She fell off a cliff and died on impact. Arts and Crafts has been extended four hours. Are you too good for your home? Oh you can count.

Good for you. And you can count on me waiting for you in the parking lot. It's like a carousel. You pay the quarter, you get on the horse, it goes up and down and around. It's circle.

Circle with the music, the flow. Kevin Nealon. Harry Potter.

The price is wrong. And then Lee Trevino. Grizzly Adams did have a beer. Alright, Rotten Tomatoes. Can you get within five? This has got to be up there. This has got to be like a ninety-one.

That might even be shooting it low. Eighty-five. Within one!

Within six. Yeah. And that's been at the movies with the WD. There are a lot of so-called sports talk guys who don't do anything but flap their gums. Yeah, exactly. But not Josh Graham.

He doesn't even like gum or flapping for that matter. He's so talented. You're on the drive with Josh Graham.

Not best bets to hand out in just a bit. Before we get to that though. Shout out to our friend David Hale from ESPN who is the real MVP. He and Andrea Adelson hosting a weekly football show on ACC Network. And this week they brought on Frank Reich who, if you have not been following the news in recent weeks, took over as the interim head coach at Stanford. And during his press conference, sitting next to Andrew Luck, the GM of Stanford football, Luck revealed that when he called Frank about the opportunity, he was inside the Greensboro Costco right there on Windover.

And David Hale had some further questions. You were at the Costco in Greensboro. What were you buying when Andrew calls you? Did you celebrate with some free samples while you were there? Did you get like any Kirkland brand transfers that you can add into the program as needed?

How long have you been? I have so many Costco related questions for you. Oh, that's good. No.

Yeah. We're certainly a big Costco family and I had actually just walked in the door. So the cart was empty and after the phone call, needless to say, it remained empty. I couldn't quite concentrate on those free samples.

I knew I was going to have to make a decision here pretty quick. Little disappointing. What? His answer or the fact that he didn't get his samples? No samples. He didn't even go walk over beyond the counters or beyond the registers and get yourself a hot dog.

This is true. If I was at Costco and had a big decision to mull over, I'm going to mull over that decision with one of those ice cream cups that have the chocolate sundae dressing. I would agree with that because sometimes the sample lines can be a little chaotic.

They don't always have the samples ready. So maybe that's not the spot, but the hot dogs or the ice cream, that's the way to go. Writing down some of my bets for today that we're going to hand out in best bets in just a bit. So Frank Reich is a big Costco man. I need to know what a normal trip to Costco looks like now. This is something that we might get to when we're at ACC football kickoff.

Right. You'll have a perfect opportunity. I just want to know what the ideal trip looks like. How often do you go to Costco? Because there are some people that are, I'll go once a month because you're shopping in bulk largely and we can make it through once a month trip.

I'm a weekly guy. Now when I'm not doing many road trips to games and such, I'm not filling up my car every week, but I'm not the type to let my gas tank get underneath a quarter tank or get where the light turns on. I see Will's face. I know he's the type that's like, I still got 15 miles until we're empty and the gas lights turned on. Like I just top it off because I'm here.

Let's just do it. It takes five minutes. And when I go, it's not on the weekend like when Will goes, Saturday, Sunday, I'm going like 6.30, 7 o'clock in the evening and nobody's in line.

So just pop in, fill up the rest of your tank. Usually I find listeners who see me there with my bag of chips. That's how they know. Forget the name of the guy. Somebody walked up to me and said, see, I had the WSJS hoodie on though.

So I was just a walking billboard, walking target for the gentleman to walk up to me and say, hi, whose name slips me right now. But these are the answers we need to get because I mean, he said they're a Costco family. This is a big deal. This is serious stuff.

Yeah. The only problem I've been trying to talk Will into going at a more efficient time because the thought of going to the Wendover Costco on the weekend, it gives me anxiety. Just the thought of you going, not me going, you going, it's given me anxiety. I view it as a weekend activity. The only, well, like the samples and everything. Sometimes my friend will tag along. The only negative going during the week and the evening, they don't always got samples out.

I know. That's why I go. That's why, or it's the weekend and you got nothing better to do.

No, it's like a weekend thing. I go and I take a lap. A lap to find a lap. What's a lap I'd go in and I'd take a cart or are you just taking a lap and walking up to each of the sample people? And then do you hit the, so sometimes you go to Costco and not even buy anything. Correct. Take a lap.

Get some of the sample. You don't even go to the food court and get food there. Sometimes I do.

Not always. So there are times you will go to the Costco on Wendover and brave the traffic bottleneck that is that light that you try to turn out of and you go in and you go through all that and you don't purchase anything. The only reason you go is to take a lap and get samples.

Can I tell you why this offends me greatly? Why? I wouldn't even do that. And yet I'm a huge advocate for the Costco date. You're going on Costco dates with yourself. That is a Costco date. I mean, that is it. Like the idea of a Costco date is you don't do anything practical. You're not buying practical things. It's that you are going to enjoy the samples and taking a lap with somebody else though. You're doing the Costco date already.

Why not just take a lap with somebody else and use that logic, use that. Like that's a much better pitch than the guy on the Atlanta Braves TV broadcast. Oh, I got a microphone. They're telling me. No, just say, Hey, would you like to take a lap with me next time I'm at Costco?

Boom. That's the date. And you get to meet each other and it's different.

And everybody loves Costco. And if they don't, they're not the one. You don't want, Will, somebody who wouldn't like the idea of taking a lap with you at Costco.

That's the person that you want in your life. So when are you going to do this thing? Well, you know, you make a good point. I didn't even know you did this. Yeah.

No, it's not all fun. I go and I don't buy anything. I usually I get coffee or, you know, something I need energy drinks that usually it's caffeine of some kind, but there's tons where I'll just go. Cause I feel like, you know, I want to go see what type of samples they have. Costco date. Next time you want to do that. Why not? Well, I'm not going to, I'm saying I'm, I'm, I'm here for it.

Been three years. Still haven't done this thing. Now let's hand out some bets for tonight and today's best bets. I'm not a betting duck. Care to make it interesting?

You know you do. You're on. Call me in on this. But my money from the other team, this is Josh's best bets. Two bets will for tonight. I think Grizzlies warriors is going to be a battle. Give me the seven and a half points with Memphis tonight in San Francisco cash out family. I have a weird feeling even though home court golden state Steph Curry in the playoffs, Memphis fired their coach. I have a weird feeling that Memphis is going to win tonight and I'm getting seven and a half. So if you want to get real frisky, you could do plus two 65 and just take the Memphis money line. If you like, I don't know if I would endorse that, but Memphis plus seven and a half points.

We liked that a lot. We're going to do that. And then we go to major league baseball. Will today is April the 15th. What's April the 15th will? It is Jackie Robinson Day. Also, April the 15th is better known as the Tampa Bay Rays worst nightmare. Because did you see the score that Tampa won last night by the Rays are playing in the Steinbrenner Park? That's the triple A park, some triple A park. It's the Yankees minor league home. 16 to one. The Rays won that game, right?

Yeah. We're taking Boston plus 108 tonight. Boston. And it's because of this stat. Why is Jackie Robinson Day the worst nightmare for the Tampa Bay Rays? Tampa Bay has lost 14 straight years on Jackie Robinson Day. 14 years in a row, three times to the Boston Red Sox. And I just think Boston's better than Tampa.

Tampa had the best game you could possibly have last night. We're getting plus money with the Red Sox and Walker Bueller on the mound. We're going to take the Red Sox money line tonight. So in review, the Grizz plus seven and a half, the Red Sox plus 108. You interested in any of those bets, Will Dalton?

I'm intrigued with that Ray Boston money line. I am. How intrigued are you?

I don't know. I might whip out my phone and do it in the break. Now you watch, this will be the one that the Rays get them. You watch, this will be the one. The Rays won 14, you said 16 to one, 14 to one. How much did they win by last night? 16 to one. But with Bueller on the mound, I actually don't like their chances.

That's what sells me on. Red Sox plus 108. Oh, they've lost 14 times. Red Sox plus 108. Grizzlies plus seven and a half.

That's what we're doing. T-Dots with a six man to Tar Heel basketball. He's even got the Carolina logo on his dry fit shirt for those watching on YouTube, Twitch and X. Dot, last week when we were talking, we had some concerns about the roster construction in the back court. Since then, in addition to having seven footer Henry Vassar, North Carolina and also Caleb Wilson, a top 10 recruit at power forward. The Tar Heels have now added Jaron Stevenson to that as well.

The Chapel Hill native whose mom played at Carolina, played at Alabama the last couple of years. It does look like if Drake, and by the way, he was a teammate of Drake Powell's once upon a time at Northwood. So if Drake Powell returns, your starting lineup is going to be Colorado State guard Kyan Evans, Seth Trimble at the two guard, Drake Powell the three with Caleb Wilson and Henry Vassar in the post, Jaron Stevenson coming off the bench.

That's starting to look like a squad. How excited are you for it? You know, brick by brick, you know, just liking to see the way the pieces are coming together. You dig what I'm saying?

It's been off and on with certain pieces in the past. So I'm hoping that we can hit more Harrison Ingrams this time. You dig what I'm saying? Like I'm liking Jaron Stevenson coming back home. I'm really liking that play. I mean, he was supposed to be a Tar Heel off the rip. Like I remember going to a game and being down there and thinking that Jaron Stevenson was a for sure lock.

And then of course, I'm, I'm assuming Alabama dropped their bread. You dig what I'm saying? And we missed out on that, but it's good to see Jaron Stevenson come back to the crib. And I just hope Seth works on that jumper all off season and just come as a, even more of an offensive threat.

He's gotten better every year, but the senior year, we're going to depend on that a lot, especially if he's going to be starting at the two as you just listed in your hypothetical situation. Yeah. I, I remember when Alabama went to the Smith Center and won by 15 this year, we were talking to Jaron after the game. I bet you do Josh.

I bet you do. No, but Jaron after, Jaron after the game, I was like, did, how much did you go to games here growing up? It's like, oh, all the time I went to games. I'm like, how strange is it to be on this floor to watch Carolina lose? He's like, yeah, man, even though I was on the team that beat him, still kind of weird to watch them lose.

I didn't watch them lose that much. So hopefully with him on the team, it'll lead to more winning. Getting to the NBA. Here is my complete list as the NBA play-in starts tonight of teams that could possibly make the NBA finals. This is my list.

The Celtics, the Cavaliers, Oklahoma City, the Lakers, the T-Wolves. That's my list. Would you add anybody to that list?

No, I wouldn't add anybody on to that list. I don't think Josh, but Golden State Warriors, they scare me with Jimmy Buckets and just the confidence that they've had after the All-Star break. And I understand they got to do some planning and they really got to do some work to get there. But that team is like, they're playing differently with Jimmy Buckets. And if there's anybody that's not on your list, that just with the history and the weaponry that could, I would like to, I would like to throw their name in the hat. They need to win the night because if they get Houston in a 7-2, that could be a real series. If you put yourself in a situation where you can be eliminated in a single game, well, you just might first off. But if you win, then you get Oklahoma City in a best of seven, well-rested, just not going to happen. Don't want that. Don't want a well-rested. Nobody wants that juggernaut. So I agree 100%.

Houston ain't no slouch, but you'd much rather take Houston and OKC. OK, let's get to grammar school for this week. B-Dot kind enough to join us. Josh Graham has his own way of speaking.

I love, I love, I love, I love, I love, I love, I love. And just when you think it can't get any worse, Josh is going to attempt to learn B-Dot's vernacular. I'm going to put one in the air. It's time for B-Dot's Grammar School.

Nobody better than B-Dot. Pre-game, during-game, post-game. So I'm trying to look what I might have to bribe people with to help me out in grammar school.

Help! This week, W-D, there are some concerts, where's Dave Tepper when we need them, that we have tickets to, yes, shout out. We have Susana tickets, in parentheses, a perfect circle. That's going to be in Charlotte, coming up in May next month.

We also have tickets to go see Rodney Atkins and Hunter Hayes on the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds next month. If you call in and assist me with a grammar school question, your choice of tickets to either of those shows, 336-777-1600 is the phone number. Give us a call now. I have a call cast question to get us started. You ready, Dot?

Let's do it. We, we learned last week, had seen none of the iconic 90's Sandler movies, and we, he watched one of them last night, reviewed it on today's show. Can you name three Adam Sandler movies? Oh my gosh, Happy Gilmore.

That's the one that he reviewed today. Okay, um, uh, gosh. I told you by the way, Will, that's the first movie people think of. I think when Adam Sandler, when we lose Adam Sandler one day, I think when you have the obituary, I hope it's, he lives a hundred more years, but I bet you the obituary, the first movie that's going to be listed is Happy Gilmore.

What is the, why can't, why am I having such a brain fart? Water boy, water boy, water boy. Water boy, yeah.

There you go. Because Adam Sandler has a lot of white people in his movies until he let Chris Rock join him in a movie called in the mid 2000s, late 2000s. Oh gosh, I know a zillion freaking Adam Sandler freaking movies. I love Adam Sandler.

So that, you got two out of the three, what I call the holy trinity of Adam Sandler movies in the nineties. Hold on, hold on man. Oh, I don't want to lose this. I know I know this. I know I know. Water boy.

Happy Gilmore. Let me see if I can, let me see if I can give him a hint. Yeah. Give me a clue. Give me a clue now. Give me a clue of the one I'm missing in the holy trinity. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

We are all dumber have hearing you talk. Mr. Penguin. Oh, Mr. Penguin over there. I see what's going on over here. Mr. Penguin.

I can't do it. Just give me a buzz. Oh, that was Billy Madison. Yes, Billy Madison.

That's really fun. Or the wedding singer or big daddy. I thought big daddy was going to be one for you. I wipe my own ass. I wipe my own ass. Oh yeah.

Scuba Steve. Oh, we know. We know. I love so many Hooters jokes throughout that entire movie, peak of Hooters. Let me just let you know how difficult it is when you're on the spot like that, man. I'm sorry. If we were just talking, I could name a million Adam Sandler movies.

I don't feel that sympathetic just because I gave you like the iconic line from Billy Madison to help you. Yes. Yes. Okay. And I knew that whole scene. All right.

So we got those tickets to see Hunter Hayes and Rodney Atkins and Susanna. Help. I'm going to need help. I got a feeling today. I thought it's going to take out his frustration on me during grammar school. I have a feeling. Yeah. I want to apologize to everybody I let down right there.

I want to apologize. If you, Josh, if you hear boots on the ground, if you hear boots on the ground, what are we about to do? I think that means you're going to roll up like boots on the ground. It's like, we're going to show up. We're going to show out. That's what it means.

I don't even know if it means like always in a confrontative way. Like it might mean like, hey, ACC tournament in Charlotte. Boots on the ground. We're going to show up. We're going to be there.

We're going to be representing. That's what I think it means. Is that your final answer? Yeah.

100% incorrect. Yeah. Boots on the ground is a song that's out right now that everybody has a very famous line dance to. So if you hear boots on the ground, you start a line dance.

Can we play it or is it not suitable? Absolutely. If W.D. Googles boots on the ground, the first thing that's going to pop up is, where them fans at? All right.

In the southern cold. W.D., see if that's 803 Fresh. Is that what we're doing?

That's exactly who it is. 803 Fresh. It's from South Carolina. Okay. Here we go. Yeah, you might not be able to hear it. Okay. But we heard it.

We heard it. That's a nice sample. What's the next work? It's a whole line dance. Next time I see you, Josh, I'll do the dance for you, okay?

Sounds good. Next one. Speaking of line dances, fill in the blank to this famous line dance song. Oh, man. You got to know it, it's blank, boogie, woogie, woogie. It's electric. Let's go.

Let's go. You got to fit, you got to know it, it's electric, boogie, woogie, woogie, woogie, and you can't hide. Is that big in the community? That's a freaking little bit.

I didn't know that. Absolutely. Electric boogaloo.

That's our jam. What was your favorite dance as a kid? I won the eighth grade dance contest for doing the Steve Buerkle dance. I did it. Wow.

Can you show us a little? No. Okay. I don't even think I can still do it. I don't think I can still... Let me see. Hold on. For the folks that's watching at the crib.

For YouTube, Twitch, and X, we got Dot standing up. He's going to try to see if he remembers what won the eighth grade talent show, the Steve Buerkle dance. Look at him go. There you go. That's really good. Whoa. That's really good.

Y'all are ridiculous. That's really good. Don't you edit this and play it back, either, you stroked thing. Did I do that? Did I do that?

I wore big thick glasses. It was ridiculous. I would never do that.

I would never clip that. Okay. What's the last one? I got one wrong. I got one right.

All right. So there's a line dance called the Tamiya dance. Tamiya. The Tamiya dance. Can I guess how that's spelled? T-A-M-I-Y-A?

No. T-A-M-I-A. And it's because Tamiya was a hip hop singer and she had a song that we all have a dance to. But Tamiya was married to a 2018 NBA Hall of Famer. As in he went into the Hall of Fame in 2018? Yep. He's a former Detroit history. See here's the problem. Here's the problem with the NBA Hall of Fame.

They let everybody in. Here you go. Here you go. You always try to say this. Here you go. It's true.

Not true. Everybody gets in. Like it's amazing. Like you're, I'm looking at it, you go through it like, you know, Mitch Richmond is a basketball Hall of Famer. We're really doing that. Like you look at, meanwhile the NFL, it's like tough to get in, which means the Hall of Fame matters more.

Baseball got a little too hard and that's a problem. Tamiya married to a Detroit Piston. Okay. So Tamiya was big around what time? 90s? 90s. Yeah. Okay.

So Tamiya also won two NCAA championships. Oh, buddy. Now, now you're just playing with me. Now we're cooking with dish grease, baby. Is Tamiya married to Rip Hamilton? That is a hundred percent incorrect. Grant Hill. Yes. Grant Hill, you goober.

Oh, I don't think Grant Hill when I think Detroit Pistons. That's my bad. Gotta went to WD again. And you didn't even think about using a lifeline. WD stood right there. It's sitting right there. You never used WD and he knows this stuff.

I used him last week and it worked out well for me. And you won. Today you didn't and you lost. Do you know what today is? It's our anniversary.

anniversary. No. No.

No. April 15th. Every year. Tax Day.

National Tax Day. It is that. It is. Major League Baseball though.

Context. Oh, somebody gets paid every year around this time. Is that in June? That's July 1st. That's Bobby Bonilla. Yeah, Bobby Bonilla. July 1st. Today is Jackie Robinson Day.

That's what I meant. 78 years ago he broke the color barrier. Is Jack, even though you're not a big baseball guy, have you ever done the Jackie Robinson deep dive?

Like is Jackie, for me, Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, those are the two figures that I have done more reading about, that I care about so much. Like I hate the movie 42 more than any movie ever because I, because I felt it didn't do the Jackie Robinson story justice. Like I was expecting. You hate the Elvis movie? Yeah. More than that.

Much more. I can't stand it. But for you, it's out of respect. It's how much I like Jackie Robinson in the story and how much it matters. Did you ever have like a sports figure like that or are these among them? When you, like Muhammad Ali was so braggadocious that he was really like my favorite of that era and just the way he was talking that talk in a time where you could get killed for much, much less. There was just some boss ass talk for me.

Like I just was, that was woof. When Jackie Robinson, I really didn't growing up understand the greatness of Jackie Robinson, but growing, but once you grow up and you go back and see and just think about like them sliding into him with cleats and spitting on them and every single freaking job of baseball field he went to, like it was just like him, Hank Aaron, those talking like it's just, I can't really fathom to be quite honest with you, like what they had to really go through in those spaces. But I am genuinely thankful that they did that.

They were strong enough to do that, man, because you know, it just was the progression of black people that was necessary in those spaces. So I was very ignorant of what today was, but I appreciate you for educating me on that today because I didn't know maybe you didn't either, brother. Happy Jackie Robinson Day.

B.Dot. Happy Jackie Robinson Day. We'll talk to you next week. Thanks for doing this, buddy. We'll talk to you next time.
