And what I discovered this week, I've always known about—I shouldn't say I've always known, but I've known about the Christmas nail for years, and it's always significant, and I think everybody, when they think about the nails, obviously has some significance to this.

But I wonder how many of us have ever discovered that the Jews have a really different take on nails that I did not know about. That the letter nun has a final form in it, and a lot of Jewish letters, they have a form where it is the beginning or the middle of a word, but at the end of the word, it has a different form. And the nun, if you find it at the end of a word, it's called the nail.

And so, in fact, they have a little, you know, like veggie tales, only it's called Adventures with Aleph, which is sort of their cartoon, and there they've got this final nun, and he is the nail. Now, if we take that understanding for a minute, and you realize that the word for son in Hebrew, if you were to say it, and you probably even know this, that it's Ben. Like Benjamin was the son of my right hand, or Benjamin was the son of my, you know, whoa, whatever. But the word Ben starts with a bet, which means house, with a, you know, that second letter in the Jewish alphabet is bed, and it means house. And then there's a nail, there's this nun at the end, so Ben, you hear the N, and so you get house builder, which is what a son is.

Because, you know, my son Robbie III has got the last name Dilmore, and so my house would be built by my son, you know, who's continued the family name, so to speak. But if you think about the ultimate house builder, I'm sure you've put this together by now, that he was a carpenter, and he used nails to build his father's house. And, oh my goodness, is it a coincidence, do you think, that when you look at the word son in Hebrew, that it has this nail at the end of it, this Ben, this bet, and this nun. So, once I discovered that, I went looking in the scriptures, and I'll just share a couple scriptures with you that really just blew my mind. And I did not know that one of the names for Jesus in the scriptures, one of the places where he's prophesied about, he's actually called the nail. And Ezra 9-8, if you look that up, by the way, I have all these, the link to the final nun, and the adventures of Aleph, and all these scriptures, I'm fixed to quote, are all at ChristianCarguy.com, if you want to check them out.

They're just beautiful. And Ezra 9-8, and now for the little space grace has been showed from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant, to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. Isaiah 22-23, and I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place, and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

You hear that? For his father's, the nail for his father's house, I mean, that's Isaiah 22-23. Now, my favorite of the three that I'm quoting is actually Zachariah 10-4. So Zachariah 10-4, out of him came forth the corner.

You may have heard the stone the builder rejected. Out of him came forth the corner. Out of him the nail. Out of him the battle bow. Out of him every oppressor together. And if you really want some fun, read those passages that I just quoted in context, because they are really saying that the Messiah is a nail. And so I'm sure, Bill, you would agree with me. He nailed it. I mean, it's just...
