This is Stu Epperson from the Truth Talk Podcast, connecting current events, pop culture, and theology, and we're so grateful for you that you've chosen the Truth Podcast Network. It's about to start in just a few seconds. Enjoy it, and please share it around with all your friends.

Thanks for listening, and thanks for choosing the Truth Podcast Network. It's funny I can't hide it inside and squeak, as the squeakle is do. I've got to let go with a ho. Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho ho. Ho ho ho ho ho ho ho.

How to... I say this calls for action and now! I love to laugh, loud and long and clear, I love to laugh, it's getting worse every year, the more I laugh, the more I fill with glee, the more I'm a merrier of me, it's embarrassing, the more I'm a merrier of me. So the question today on the Christian Car Guys show, what makes God laugh?

I don't know if you've ever thought about that. When were you sure, and I'm really needing some stories today, I'm here by myself, just flew back from the NRB all night from Los Angeles so I'm a little giddy, but when were you sure that you heard God laughing? Sometimes people think they can't take me anywhere because this week at the NRB, which is the National Religious Broadcasters Convention, it was held in Anaheim, California, and my boss and his very dignified father and all these people were all sitting there and they had taken us to this, it was a sermon that was being held by an up and coming pastor, he was outstanding, there's no doubt about it, but he made this remark in the middle of his sermon on the second psalm, and I don't know if you've ever had this happen where you've just got a lot of emotions going on, I lost my father a week ago, Tuesday, as you guys know, and I just burst out laughing in the middle of his sermon, everybody's looking at me like, oh wow, what was that about, but what he said that made me laugh, and I do think it's funny, I can't help but think it's funny, but what he said was, when God laughs, it's not funny. Well, what do you think, what do you think, do you think God laughs at things that aren't funny? And again, he was, in the context, he was talking about the second psalm and I realized the authority of Jesus Christ, and when God was laughing at the people that were raging against him. But what do you think, does God laugh, and when have you heard, I mean, what's a story that you can think of, or you just know that you can hear him laughing, or maybe you hear him laughing in nature, or maybe there's a Bible story that you know absolutely for certain that this is a picture of God's sense of humor, I would just need that today, you call me 866-348-7884, we have our good number working again, so 866-348-7884, here's an example of one that I thought of, I've actually thought of several, but I'm very excited about hearing yours because I could use a laugh today, there's no doubt about it, I haven't had much sleep, so years ago when I was, you know, I owned Westside Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Mocksville, North Carolina, and one day this couple came in, of course they wanted to speak the owner, and you know, they came in my office and I was like, how can I help you? And they said, well, God has told us that you're going to give us a van, and I was like, God has told you that I'm going to give you a van. Now at this point, I am certain that God is laughing, because he knows what is actually going to happen here, but I didn't, and I was like, what in the world? I mean, this just sounded crazy to me, like, you know, you may think car dealers have all kinds of money and they can just give people a $25,000 van, but that just isn't, you know, what they can do, and those cars were all floor planned, and you know, I'm paying interest on them, and they're financed also, so you know, that's the way car dealers mostly work, but anyway, so when they said that to me, it just was like beyond ridiculous, but for some reason the Holy Spirit said, stick with this, just stick with it. And so I said, well, tell me your story, and oh my goodness, when they went into it, you know, they'd had this setback and that setback and the horrible death in the family of a child and all these things, when they got done with it, I mean, I was like, oh yeah, I mean, I can see why God wouldn't say that we're supposed to give you a van, but again, I don't have a van, so I, you know, I don't know, but I just start praying, and we start praying together, like God give us wisdom, because I don't know how to do this. But we called a couple of the other, you know, people that I was very close to there at West Side, some of the other managers then, and we started praying, and the office manager says, you know, I think there's a program that Duke Power has, and you know, this was years ago, so I don't know if they still have the program or not, but for people that have a desperate need like that, they have a foundation or a charity of some kind that they might, you know, that they might provide funds to help do that. Well, if I had, you know, this is one of those stories that you know God's laughing, I just know he was, because he knew that when those people came in, I was like, what in the world?

But if I hadn't lived it, I wouldn't have believed it. So these people went off to Duke Power, this is the same day, they're gonna go, they drive to Duke Power, and they tell that story to Duke Power, and Duke Power calls us back. Now, they could have called any dealer, any Chrysler dealer out there, but they called us, and they had given them a check, and they bought them a used van, but it was a late model used van, it was $12,000 or $13,000, I mean, I remember thinking, oh my goodness, look what we just saw happen. And you know, it certainly wasn't me that gave them the van, but God did, and I know that God was laughing. I mean, it's just pure joy to see these people's need met, and to see my unbelief in the mid midst of that, and all that went on there. But I'm dying to know your story, 866-348-7884, 866-304-TRUTH, or maybe there's a piece of scripture that you've always said right there, right there, that's where God is laughing. You know, John Eldridge talks about the scene where the guys are coming back, it's in the book of Acts, where Jesus is on the side of the bank, cooking breakfast, and the guys have been fishing all night, you know, and Jesus is in his resurrected body, and you would think that, you know, he would be saying, hey look guys, I'm over here, I'm the resurrected, you know, you would think, but that is what he does, he's like, the same thing, catching anything, you know, just throwing that out there, catching anything guys, you know, you heard this before, does it sound familiar? And you know, they're like, no, we fished all night, nothing.

And so he says, you know, well throw your net over on the other side of the boat. Well, you know, the second he says that, this has to be like deja vu moment, you know, for all these guys, and then when they realize it's the Lord, it's certainly deja vu, and I can almost, and John Eldridge points out that I bet some of those guys, Ortiz and Peter, you remember the last time this happened? You know, get away from me, Lord, I'm a sinful man. You know, that he was joking around with them, and that this is what was going on. And so, where do you see that kind of thing in scripture?

In fact, that's in a book that John Eldridge wrote called Beautiful Outlaw, it's an amazing story. So I would love to hear yours, 866-34-TRUTH, 866-348-7884 is a number to call in and share. Maybe you hear it in nature, you, a particular bird, that when they, you know, are doing their call, you're hearing God's laugh, or, you know, we got Janice is in Raleigh, we can get started with her. Janice here on the Christian Car Guys show, good morning!

Good morning. I don't know all the names of this, but I love my Bible, and anyways, the book of, I think it's Esther, where there's, is it Haman, who's the guy that thinks he's got real special privileges and he comes back and tells his wife, oh my God, I was invited to dinner, just me, with Esther in the cake, and he's glory, he's getting all puffed up with pride, and we both know how God feels about people who are puffed up with pride, but he's getting all prideful and thinking he's all special, and then it twists on him! Oh yeah. And he's humiliated and killed, and so I saw a little humor in that. I don't know if I'm just gonna say humor. You know, and I think that, Janice, the thing I love about that was when you read, if you read the second Psalm, right, Hanan was raging against the, I mean, he was raging against the Jews and raging against God, and God just kind of mocks him, like, and, you know, part of that story that I remember as you were mentioning it was, he goes to the king and, thinking that he's fixing to get honored, and the king says, what should I do for the man that, you know, that the king wants to honor?

Well, I'd give him the big robe. And don't you think that was God's plan, for him to think that it was going to him? Oh yeah.

And it was just, to me, I think there's comedy, but again, I might have a twisted sense of humor, but I think there's some comedy in there. Thank you. Yeah, it sure wasn't for Hanan's family, but thank you, Janice. God bless. That is a great story. Well, where do you see it in the Bible?

Where have you seen it in your life where you knew that God was laughing? It's 866-348-7884. We got so much more Christian Car Guy show if you can't hear the rest of it, don't forget the podcast. It's at ChristianCarguy.com. We've got some requests coming up, some neat stuff, so stay tuned, a lot more Christian Car Guy show coming up, 866-348-7884.

You're listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. I love to laugh, loud and long and clear, I love to laugh, it's getting worse every year, the more I laugh, the more I fill with glee, the more the glee, the more I will marry you. Well, where does God laugh today on the Christian Car Guy show, and when were you sure that you heard him laughing? We would love to hear your story, 866-348-7884, as a number to call in and share.

Again, maybe you see it somewhere in Scripture that you heard God laughing, or maybe you got a story where you knew God was just like he was tickled. 866-348-7884 is a number to call in and share, and I do want to thank everyone, oh man, all the people that came to the funeral, all the wonderful cards, the donations to the Jesus Labor love all meant so much to me, to my family, all my brothers and sisters were there from all over the country, and we really had a great time celebrating my father's life last Sunday. And so, you know, and then I got on an airplane and flew to Los Angeles, and so it's just been a whirlwind, and I really want to do a tribute to my dad like I did for my mom. You know, he was part of Christian Car Guy Theater, so we had him on many times. I have several sound bites from my dad that we're going to, but I didn't have time to do that this week, plus share some of the stuff that I shared about his life at the funeral if you weren't able to make it.

So I'm going to try to get all that done for next week. But today I just need to laugh, I really do. So we have Ann is in Honorsville, I bet I know what Ann that is.

Ann, you're on the Christian Car Guy. You do, you do, you do. And I'm laughing here. I love to laugh. That is so perfect. And there's such a release, it's like the we laugh that we may not weep.

Right. I think you have a lot of, and then I love the one that says the sense of humor is the safety valve on the boiler room of life. Oh, yeah. And isn't it fabulous that God has given us that gift of laughing? Man, I'm laughing all the time with the Lord.

I think there are so many things that I was going to point out really quickly about Balaam and the donkey. That story. I tell you. Oh, yeah. If you don't see humor in there, you know.

I'm serious. Numbers 22. I mean, it's the most fascinating story anyway. You hear Balaam, you know, his donkey trying to save his life, and Balaam keeps beating the donkey, and the donkey finally talks to him.

Even that doesn't get to Balaam. He doesn't figure out that this donkey is talking to him. But I love when it gets to the point where the angel, he finally sees the angel who was about to kill him, and the angel says, why have you beaten your donkey three times? I've come here to oppose you because your path is a reckless one for me. Hey, the donkey saw me and turned away from these three times.

If she had not turned away, I would have certainly killed you by now, but I would have spared her. I love that. I love that.

You know, I've never, you know, I'm very familiar with the story, but I don't think I ever picked out that detail. That I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't save the donkey. I love that. That is classic. Hey, stupid.

You know, I would have spared the little jackass, I mean, the little donkey, so that is so perfect. That is awesome, Anne. Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. Good to hear you back.

Yes, it's good to be back. And so I'm so grateful that you called in to share your biblical humor. God bless you. So you've got a story that you want to share. You're thinking right now, Robby, I know one in the Bible that just cracks me up every time.

866-348-7884, maybe it's a personal story, something like that. But unfortunately, the next guest I have on the Christian Car Guy show, this isn't a laughing matter at all. She had reached out to us with a pretty desperate need, and I told her to call in, and we would share it on the air. There's a link at my website, too, at ChristianCarGuy.com under this post today. So Anita, welcome to the Christian Car Guy show. Thank you.

It's Anita Rutland. So Anita, tell our listeners what's going on in your life. Well, I'm originally from South Carolina, and now I live in very rural Montana, in the middle of nowhere. And I live here because my disease is a hereditary disease, so I was born with it, but I didn't know it until four years after I got sick.

And then, you know, discovering all the things that can cause problems with the disease, the doctors helped me pick a spot that was considered safe. But living here, there's no public transportation, and when I lost my mom in 2013, I was alone. And so I'm having a hard time with appropriate handicapped transportation. I'm on disability, so I can't afford something on my own, but God answers prayers, and I think if you're faithful and you continue praying, He will answer. And so you've reached out to – somebody else helped you, they got you a page on – talk about that.

Right. Another foundation based out of Maryland set up the fundraiser page so that everything could be, you know, tax deductible, and it all goes through them, and they will purchase the vehicle. I've had another one that promised once we raised $35,000, they would pay the final $5,000.

There's another one doing an online gaming fundraiser for me next week, and then this week I met another foundation out of Washington, and they said they were going to try to find ways to help with that situation as well. So God answers. So there's the opportunity that I wanted to make our listeners aware of. Number one, we can all join in prayer with Anita – in fact, why don't we do that right now? Lord, thank you for Anita. Thank you for her courage in the midst of great trial, and I thank you for her reliance on you and seeing that you're going to be the one that meets this need, like the people in the van story I told you about earlier. Lord, you amaze us so many times with the ways you come through. So Lord, I pray your hand on this, and I pray that our listeners would join with me and just ask you to meet this need, and you know, it's a desperate one, and she's way out there.

She's got to have a four-wheel drive vehicle that is not only four-wheel drive, but handicap, you know, a wheelchair-type vehicle, so that it really needs to almost be a Hummer. And so they've got that figured out, and Lord, we pray that you would help her to raise the funds to be able to do that. And I thank you for a chance to help, in Jesus' name I pray. Okay, if you go to christiancargai.com and you look at the Love to Laugh picture that I've got there, you'll see the link to Anita's page that they're donating to, or by all means, we can all pray and do our part.

So Anita, God bless. I appreciate you calling in today. Thank you so much. You're welcome. All right, When Did God Make You Laugh, 866-348-7884.

So much more coming up, stay tuned. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com. Some people laugh through their noses, sounding something like this. Some people laugh through their teeth, goodness sakes, hissing and fizzing like snakes.

Not at all attractive to my way of thinking. Some laugh too fast, some only for lust. So what makes God laugh? I don't know if you've ever thought about that, but you can perhaps see instances in the Bible, if you've got one of those, we've shared, several people have shared some awesome ones. We'd love to hear that at 866-348-7884, 86634 Truth, or perhaps there's a story in your own life that you know that God was laughing and I'm sure, I'm gonna share one in a second. He was laughing with me, not at me, but sometimes, you know, I think he's laughing at some people.

We wanna hear those stories, 866-348-7884. As I mentioned at the beginning of the show, I was at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention this week and I heard my MyPillow ad during the commercial break and I wanted to share with you, you know, you've seen Mike Lindell in the MyPillow ads on TV and actually I was a little concerned, but I met him in person at the NRB, I actually spent some time with him and I gotta tell you, I was really, really impressed on a lot of levels. I mean, he really speaks from the heart about a lot of things and certainly when it comes to sleep and his passion for that, when he really, you know, he starts talking about Delta sleep and this kind of sleep, I mean, he really, really has this thing where he wants to help people, but the part that just blew me away was his faith and his testimony.

And I mean, a very overt Christian, believe me. And I had no idea that he was one of the major sponsors in the movie Unplanned that has come out this weekend. I believe it may have come out last week, but that's the movie about the abortion clinic that closed, which I've seen that, you know, it's one of those difficult movies to watch, but it's important to watch it, I think, because there's a scene in it about that abortion pill that really, I had no understanding of the horror of what that does for the person that takes it. Of course, I understood the horror for the baby involved, but I didn't understand all that was going on with that. And this movie points out some things that are, I think, really need to be told.

And so I was really, really impressed that Mike Lindell really supported that movie in a big way, both financially and in promoting it. So you know, that was really good. It was one of the encouraging things to happen to me at the NRB. But I want to get back to, I love to laugh because I do love to laugh. And the story that I couldn't help but think about that God was laughing with me was, and you've may have heard me tell this story before, but I was afraid of the dark. I'm six foot five inches tall, I'm 250 pounds. I may have been 235 at the time of the story, but I'm a big guy. I'm not small.

And my wife is not about five feet tall. But I was terrified of the dark back 20 years or so ago when I was a baby Christian. I had grown up afraid of the dark and if there was some kind of noise, believe it or not, I'd be like, Tammy, you need to go check that out.

So, you know, and it was just something I really struggled with. And if it was a dark stormy night, the chance of me getting any sleep, my pillow or not, was not going to happen. So one night, my wife and kids had actually gone out of town to visit some friends in Pennsylvania. And we live in Winston-Salem at the time.

We lived in a house down by the university that was kind of this old creepy, you know, house with a lot of trees around it. And you can picture the night, it's storming, you got lightning thunder. And Robbie's laying in bed and he is terrified.

He's a baby Christian, all I knew in my mind was this must be sin, you know. It can't be right to not, to have this kind of fear. And so I didn't know how to do it, but I just said, God, I know this is wrong that I have this much fear, but I'm terrified, I'm just going to admit it to you. You can see I'm terrified, obviously I'm terrified.

You know, I don't know how I'm supposed to give this to you, but please take it. So he says to me, clearly the Holy Spirit says to me, like, you know, through this conversation I'm having, Robbie, what's the worst thing that can happen? And I said, well, somebody could come in here with a knife and like, ah, you know, and I even did this stabbing motion like, that's what can happen. And what I believe Jesus said to me very clearly at that moment is, what would be so bad about that? And I know that God was laughing at that point in time with me saying, as he saw the light come on in my little head that said, oh, you're threatening me with Jesus.

Like if I die, I get to go be with you, like, oh wow. And I understood my own mortality, which was going to be a critical thing for me in my life, because I would within a year have what was supposed to be terminal cancer and all sorts of crazy things going on in my life. So this understand, it was fascinating to me that he arranged for this to happen where Tammy was out of town. He arranged for, you know, the storm, all this stuff, because to me, he really had a lesson. You know, this is Robbie's thought process that he had a really important lesson I needed to know as I was going into that particular season in my life. And I have to think that he was standing there laughing at the point in that he looked in my eyes and said, what would be so bad about that? So what's your story? 866-348-7884, I would love to hear your story where you perceived God was sharing something with you.

You saw the light come on, he got a good chuckle out of that, 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share with that. Again, just like we had the lady call in just a moment ago, we have all kinds of requests at the Jesus Labor Love. We have requests for vehicles if you've got an older car that you need to, you know, you don't want to trade in because you think you won't get enough money for it. That's usually what we have donated to us. And you know, I think we gave away 16 last year.

We've given away three or four this year already. And so if you've got a situation like that or you know somebody that's got a car like that, and it's amazing the blessing. I mean, amazing the blessing that I see.

And I actually have requests in all sorts of different areas where, you know, we have the radio show. And so if you've got something like that, you can bless us. And if you go to christiancarguy.com, there you'll see the Jesus Labor Love, which is car repair labor for single moms, widows, and families in crisis, and sometimes people donate cars to us. So if you go to the Jesus Labor Love, you will see there that there's a donated car form that you can fill out and share with us, or you know, if you need help, you know, that's what it's there for. Or you know somebody else that needs help that's struggling in some way.

We don't, you know, meet all the need, or sometimes, but rarely, we meet all the need because we want everybody to take part in what's going on. And so, you know, it's a wonderful thing and certainly the wonderful donations that came in from the funeral and et cetera with my father's passing last week, that's been awesome. So if you go to christiancarguy.com in there, you'll find the Jesus Labor Love. And while you're there, of course, you got podcasts if you wanted to hear the beginning of this show or you wanted to hear another story or previous shows, it's all there at the podcast page. But you know what I also found out about podcasts today, I mean, this last week at the NRB, was that if you have an Alexa or if you have Siri in your phone, if you have an iPhone, you can just simply press the button and say, Siri, play the Christian Car Guy podcast, and it pulls it up and it just plays it just like that, you know. So if you missed an episode or you want to, you know, listen to the podcast at home, you know, at your leisure, you don't want to miss any part of it, all you have to do is say, Alexa, play the Christian Car Guy podcast. And that thing comes right up and it's an amazing resource. All this technology is coming our way. Or if, you know, your favorite Christian radio station that you're listening to right now, maybe you're listening to Carrie or you're listening to KCIS up there, then you just tell, you know, Alexa or Siri, that that's who you want to speak, that's who you want to play the music, or you want to, excuse me, play our Christian teaching and talk station.

You just tell that to your device and away you go. So we, in this case me, because I don't have a guest with me today, so I need your help, I need your story. Where did you see God laughing? Maybe you saw it in the Bible. Maybe you see it in nature every time you hear a river trickle or maybe a bird calling. There's some way that you hear God laughing.

We would love, bless us with that please, 866-348-7884, 866-344-TRUTH is the number to call in and share. Maybe you saw a bumper sticker lately about God or something that just tickled you. Anything, we're just loving to laugh today on a Christian Car Guy show, and so we're excited that you're going to share that information. It was interesting standing there with, you know, and I almost feel like, you know, talking about what I did on my summer vacation at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention because I meet so many fascinating people doing so many fascinating things for the Kingdom. It's amazing all that God is doing all over the place all the time. So we've got a little more of that encouragement. We need to hear from you, 866-348-7884, thank you. We'll be right back. You're listening to the Truth Network and truthnetwork.com.

I love to laugh, loud and long and clear, I love to laugh, it's getting more serene, the more I laugh, the more I fill with glee, the more the glee, the more I'm amazed. It makes God laugh today on the Christian Car Guy show, and when were you sure you heard him laughing? We would love your story, 866-348-7884 is the number to call in, maybe you know it somewhere in Scripture or in your own life. We've got Jeff who's in North Carolina. Jeff, you're on the Christian Car Guy show, good morning.

Good morning, sir. I'm excited to hear your story. Well, I was listening to the last story about Balaam and the donkey, I enjoyed that, but I was thinking of Elijah where he challenged the prophets of Baal, I believe on Mount Carmel, and he told the prophets of Baal to go ahead and call on their God, and he built an altar, and you call on your God, and I'll call on mine, and whoever answers by fire first, then let him be God. And so he said, you go ahead and take the first crack at it, and so they called on their God, and they prayed, and they screamed and hollered, and they actually cut themselves, and Elijah just kind of mocked him and said, maybe God's asleep, why don't you call on him a little louder and wake him up, and maybe he's on a far journey, maybe he just can't get to you right now. So they're hollering louder and screaming and hollering, and you probably know the rest of the story, but nonetheless, I thought that was kind of a common story.

Maybe he's gone to relieve himself. If you don't see humor in that, I'm sorry, but Elijah was on a roll. Think about how many stand-up comedians are Jewish, and I think that Elijah was pulling that off right there. That's a great story, Chuck. Thank you. Yeah, that's perfect.

That's exactly right. There's some real comedy in that, no doubt. No doubt. God bless. God bless you, sir. Thank you. Thank you.

All right. 866-348-7884 is the number to call in and share what you see, where you've seen it. I have a story, another one where I know God was laughing at me, and I wrote this article years ago, just four or five years ago.

It was called The Thrill of the Ride is in the Curves. And I had a week where, man, I mean, the Justice Department had garnished my wages in a mistakenly bad situation where they never sent me a notice, and I'd gotten sick. And there were four or five, six things all happened to me, and I was fairly upset at God over all that, as you might imagine.

But maybe you don't ever get mad at me, but I was not all that happy with all that was going on with me that week. And I literally had this vision that he gave me as I laid there one morning praying about all this, of this little toy car. He would wind it up, and as he wound it up, it would go over this track that was supposed to be like a little kid's race car track, but he wound up the car so tight that instead of going around the track, it would just jump the curve and go across the table.

And he did it over and over again, and it seemed like it was just driving me crazy, like, don't wind the car so tight so it'll go around the track. And I know he was laughing at me. I know he was laughing at me, because what he was saying, Robbie, we all think we can do life without God. But when we lean into the curves, like those situations, like Anita, when she's asking God to come in to her life to help her with this van or whatever it is that God's going to help us with, when we lean into that, that's where life really gets to be. It's foolish, but I can't do this anymore, and God comes in and saves my bacon. But he's just laughing at me with this little toy car. He's going to give the Christian car guy this picture of a little toy car jumping over the tracks, because the thrill of the ride, of any roller coaster or whatever, it's in the curves, or it's in the up and down stuff.

It's when things look tough, and then all of a sudden it comes in. That makes all the difference. You have Ann is in Washington this morning, Ann, you're on the Christian car guy. Yeah, you didn't say the name of the city, Mukilteo. Mukilteo. Yes.

It's a native name, and the tribes from the West Coast, Canada, and Washington, and Oregon came here for meeting place. Hello? Yeah, so they're having mukiluk back there.

You're just putting it in the worst position than ever. But anyway, so tell me your story. Well, I think God laughs at woodpeckers, and people who hear woodpeckers, because I always thought woodpeckers pecked at wood, right? That's what I thought they were named for. And we have some in our neighborhood, too, I think. And I kept hearing this loud noise, like somebody banging. And I thought, nobody's doing any construction around here.

What's going on? Well, the woodpeckers go up on the chimney, and the metal flue thing that goes down the chimney part, they sit up there and they peck at that, and it echoes all over the way. And I think I started laughing when I figured out my neighbor said, did you hear that woodpecker? I go, is that what that is? I just started laughing. So I think God laughs, too, with some of his creations. Yeah, yeah.

You think he's inciting them to make that racket, to wake up the world of the fact that they're not alone? Oh, that's a good one, I like that. I'm retired and so is my neighbor, so I think that's why we hear this more often than some people in the neighborhood. And that's enough to make me want to cry, because, you know, God sends us these wonderful notices. I'm going to tell my neighbor that. To say, hey, remember me?

Yeah, and I think my neighbor looks at me as like the neighborhood Christian, you know. So I'll tell him that. That is so wonderful. And thank you for calling in this year. Oh, thank you.

It was fun hearing about all these other laughs. I'll think about that all day. Yes, God bless. Wow. Thank you. See you. Bye.

Bye-bye. Yeah, I love stories like that, where I was fishing one day. Well, actually, you know, the way that this went was I wanted to take God fishing with me.

That was my big plan. You know, I'm okay. God, you and I are going fishing today.

Well, of course, I'm sure Peter tried that a few times, too. But, you know, I get so involved in the fishing because I'm a guy that I forget God, and I've been fishing for a few minutes, and all of a sudden this deer shows up. And you know, I'm a deer hunter, too, so I know that deers, they don't just show up around people, especially, you know, when they're downwind of you. And this deer approaches me from downwind, so it obviously knows that I'm there. And there was no doubt in my mind that what God was saying, Robbie, pay attention. It's me.

Hi. You know, we're out here in nature. You know, I made all this stuff, and it's really, really sad to me that we spend so much of our life indoors where we can't get those messages that He can send that way, like the woodpecker or like the deer or different things. But if you go take a hike and you go look—so I was going to give this talk at the boot camp last week. Now, I understand that I had a tough week, but I lost my father, and I was really, really glad to be at the boot camp. God was coming after me in a lot of ways.

And I'd taken this hike, and I was going to give a talk the next day on spiritual warfare. And I came across this tree that had died, and there were pinecones all over it. But the pinecones, all of them, even though the tree was dead, were still tight together, almost like a new pinecone, and they kind of hold their seeds together like that. But there was one that had opened up, and it was like the destiny of many was in the arms of a few, because this one pinecone.

I thought it was a great example of that. Well, I clicked off that piece of pinecones, you know, it had about 10 on it, and I took it to my room to use it the next morning. Well, the next morning, all the pinecones had opened. You know why?

Because once they weren't connected to the branch, they died. God had a bigger spiritual lesson for me with the pinecones than I thought. You know, he's just out there, and I know he was laughing when I woke up that morning like Robbie, don't you get it? So wow, look for him this week.

It's going to be amazing. Thank you for listening to The Christian Car Guy Show. Remember, christiancarguy.com. God bless. This is the Truth Network.
