My blue car. My blue car. Welcome to the Christian Car Guy Radio Show. I say this calls for action and now. Tomorrow, tomorrow I love you.
Tomorrow, you're always a day away. The sun of bright justice shall rise with healing. Why is the sky blue? Did you ever wonder? You know, is the uh song I had there put together.
It's very cryptic, I realize. The idea of the blue car. Why? Why? Have you ever considered?
Why, ever wonder why this guy is blue? And then you heard. Obviously, the sun will come out tomorrow, and then you hear that the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.
Well These things all have to do with that. passage in Malachi chapter 4. I want you to think with me for a minute. As you're wondering why is the sky blue? Think with me for a minute that Malachi was the last book of the Old Testament.
They were fixing to go into 400 years of silence, or you could say 400 years of darkness. And so. In Malachi 2, and it says, Those who fear my name Right. The sun is not s on, it's s un. The sun.
of righteousness will rise. That's the sun coming up. Light, it's a new day. It's definitely a new day. And as you think about it, when Jesus came, it was a new day.
And the Son of righteousness will rise. as wings often do. With healing. In his wings. And so there's so much in this verse that has to do with why the sky is blue, but more often, more, I guess, importantly, that I think what God wants me to relate today is how the word blue reflects him in so many different ways.
And if you look at the word in Hebrew, it gives you some insights that are that are the word true blue is oh so accurate. That's a tremendous way to describe the word blue. That if you look at it in Hebrew, it begins and it ends. with the last letter in the Hebrew language. In other words.
As he would say in the 109th 19th Psalm, my word is true from the beginning. But also That which is true lasts forever. And so that which is true at the end is also true at the beginning. And thus you have the idea of The bookends of the word blue. It's just.
really fascinating, but also, you know, just The simple answer, as I said in my article today at ChristianCarGuy.com, that God's throne is blue. If you check out all the colors that are described in the book of Revelations in so many different places, that here is this blue, and then we have this blue planet, and it you know, all these things kind of point in a very similar direction, which, by the way, is up. Yeah.
Okay. Yeah.
And that's no accident. But also when This is described in Malachi, which gets to the heart of what what I would Hoping people will call with their sort of true blue moment. Like when all of a sudden. The truth came out of a of a particular situation and it was just so obvious that it was true. It was true blue, and maybe it was a true blue person, or maybe it was a true blue faith, or maybe it was a true blue something, but I.
I'm hoping that you'll get a little bit more from that here in a minute because Here in Malachi, when it says there's healing in his wings. This is the verse that undoubtedly the lady. That was had the issue of blood for 12 years. She was clinging on to this verse. because she knew that the word wings In this verse, made reference.
To what they call the zitzit. And if you're watching this on YouTube or whatever, you can see what I'm dangling here from a Jewish prayer shawl, which is what this lady wanted to grab hold of. Which Actually, when you look at the package, which kind of shocked me when I bought this in Israel, it says putting on the blue. It says that in Hebrew. It says putting on the blue.
But as I unpacked it, I couldn't help but note there's nothing blue about it. You know, I was expecting to get something blue because it But it's not got any blue. And the reason why it's You would think that it had some blue in it, is because when you look at how it was supposed to be made. In Numbers 15, it says, Speak to the children of Israel and bid them that they make fringes in the borders of their garment throughout their generations. and that they put upon the fringe a border and a ribband of Blue.
Right? And it shall be unto you a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord. and do them. Right? So these fringes, if you're looking on YouTube, etc.
Right? Right, it's a prayer shawl. These are wings. And you know, these over here, these are kind of feathers, so you when you wrap yourself in it, you kind of feel God's wings around you. But and and you know, 'cause how many times is he described being in the shadow of his wings in the Psalms?
And I'll go over some of those in a minute, but What I want to get to is that One of these Ribbons right here is supposed to be blue. It's actually this longest one right here, but it's not blue. Because unfortunately, when the Jews came out of Babylon, they lost the formula. It was made from a sea creature that they got to dive from in order to make the color blue that they would use. And The Jewish rabbis decided since they couldn't duplicate the number, they would make it white.
And this is a kosher prayer shawl. If you see one that actually has blue, it's probably not kosher because. They don't want something made that's not what it was supposed to be.
So, the idea is that you know that this is blue, but it's not in fact blue. It's fascinating, isn't it? But the idea that I'm trying to convey here. is as I look at these tassels, what am I supposed to do? Remember all the commandments?
Now it just so happens that if you were Jewish you would know immediately that there were six hundred and thirteen of those. And This word You know, the Jews they count Numbers that have to do with their letters and this word, then they call it a gematria. And the gematria of the word that would have to do with this tassel, which is the zitzit. is 600. But if you take the 600 and you add the eight strings that it has.
And the five knots, guess what you get? 613.
Now that's all. interesting information and you can Consider it if you want. Here's the real deal. Jesus simplified it for us, okay? Two commandments.
Right. Bill, I bet you could tell me what those are. Love God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul, and love others as you love yourself. Right, and love your neighbor as yourself. Essentially The healing in his wings is what?
I'm just to simplify it for you.
Okay, the healing is what? Then what these commandments? What are they? Love. Love.
All right, love your neighbor. You want to heal somebody? Love on them. How does Jesus bind up the brokenhearted? He loves you as nobody else can love you.
He died for you, he loved you so much. Die that He would have this blood that would cleanse you and make you righteous. I mean, it came from a point of love that's unbelievable that you can't. It's like, What? It's the strongest force on earth.
You know how I know that? It's the strongest force on earth. Because in the book of Revelation... You might remember John got all upset because there was nobody worthy. to open up The scroll.
Those seven seals. Nobody could do it. They didn't have the power. They didn't have the authority. Whatever it was they didn't have, they didn't have.
What opened it? Not a lion. Oh I am. And the Lamb represents what sacrificial love? Right.
The sacrificial love is the strongest. most healing thing that you can possibly imagine. And so as you are praying, it's an amazing thing. As you look at the blue, it causes you to look up. And if you look up and you don't see love, you're not seeing God because God is love.
Are you putting it together, Bill? I'm following you. Right. You might be dragging me a little bit, but I'm following you.
So the idea of true blue, all right, when we get down to it, is this idea that you're supposed to remember what was Jesus said? This is how they'll know you when you love one another. I mean, he couldn't make it clear or any more simple. Like, look up. And think about I can think of Lots of friendships that are broken.
What would heal them? Love. I can think of lots of marriages. that are broken. What could heal them?
What? Right. And it's very hard to love. in certain circumstances, but there's the The question. 866-3487884.

Moment 8663487884. Bill says the question is is a bit confusing, so I'm going to try to give my own example and at the same time kind of explain it.
It kind of explained the song you just heard. You know, beautifully, today is September the 6th, which is my older daughter's birthday, which is very exciting, but it's also the day after Tammy and I's my wife's first date 38 years ago. Very cool. I love that.
Okay. And When she met me, I was in those 400 years of silence. I was in darkness. Complete. Darkness, right?
However, you know, My mother was Undoubtedly praying for me. My father, my grandmother, you know, a lot of people that were godly were praying for me, and I appreciate that. But somehow or another, when Tammy came into the picture, the weight. kind of went over to the other side because You know, undoubtedly, I had somebody new praying for me, and I had somebody new that. Uh would begin to speak to me about God, and I could see in Tammy a faith that didn't make a lot of sense to me, but she undoubtedly had it.
Okay, and so there I was in the dark. And it was a different day. But You know, fortunately for me, love... is is Is a healing thing, and there's healing in those wings, and those wings will take you up. And so my wife's love right, for me.
And it didn't happen overnight. As far as me coming to Christ, it You know, we were married in 1998. And I came to Christ in 2001, so whatever that was. you know, four or five years before the the process was complete as as she married, you know, in A challenge. Yeah.
But I I was thinking about it yesterday 'cause I was writing my wife this card. that my life in so many different ways completely became my life when I married her. Yeah, prior to that, I really didn't Those were the dark years. They were dark. And there's certainly, I didn't know Christ, and apart from him, I could do nothing.
And so, you know, they were. They were the warm-up years, I guess. I don't know what you want to call them. But nonetheless, I had a a true blue moment when I fell in love with my wife. And that love you know, that I had for her helped me to see in her something I never had seen before.
And that was Jesus. And so There you go, Bill. Said help. That helps, yes sir. But Yeah.
I don't remember that exactly. I'm pretty sure I was because I love to wear blue because I, you know. I have blue eyes, and people have complimented them over the years many times. And so I like to wear blue because it makes my eyes do people, you know, whatever. I like the idea of.
you know. God lo clearly loves blue. It's a blue planet, just saying.
So, how about you? Have you zoomed in on it yet? Like, how that works or why you're are you still have you got one?
Well, I it sounds to me like we're talking about revelation from God and that we experience God and we look at Up, we see the blue, we see the splendor, we see the joy, and we start talking to God. And a lot of the problems we have come from not talking to God.
Now, I think that those times that I said, God, what do you want me to pray? What do you want? The outcome to be that my answered prayers are a whole lot more likely to happen, or I'm at least a whole lot more likely to recognize him and give him the glory for them, is when I'm praying something that if I were sitting across the table from God, I wouldn't feel embarrassed about. But there have been a few, there have been numerous times in my life when I thought I was at the end of a rope, when I didn't have any idea how to solve a problem, where I took a deep breath and said, I'm going to entrust this to you, God, and we're going to see where we go. It's like our buddy Frank said, he used to say, God, I got myself into a hole again, but I'm looking forward to seeing how you get me out of it.
Now, when you're in a. A whole the only way you can look this up. If you think about it. Isn't that my point? And so, since usually we're looking down, it's a kind of nice thing that if you've got those.
wings on your garments and it kind of makes you think i gotta go up Another great example from my standpoint, as a Christian car guy, you know, we have the Jesus labor love. And that Jesus Labor Love, if you're not familiar, helps single moms, widows, and families in crisis with cars rip car repair. And I am so blessed to often You can't Calls. From people that have heard about it, or whatever, they didn't go through the website or they don't know the process, they just heard that Robbie Dilmore has something to do with it, and they call me. And so I I I got a call from Indiana.
Um About Three days ago. Uh woman up there that's just desperately needs a car. and has needed it for some time. And You know, she sounded When she left she left a message, Bill. And you know, because whatever I was doing at the time, she called, and I listened to this message.
And if it didn't melt your heart, you don't have a heart. In other words, Here She is desperate and she is Heard about the Jesus Labor Love, and that was always. My hope that and what I felt like God wanted it named because people would see Jesus when they saw it. And she's looking for God to help her. in the situation that she doesn't have any answers to.
And and I just find it More than beautiful. I don't right this minute have a car in Indiana, but if you happen to be in Indiana and you know somebody who's got, you know, a car that. That they're not, you know, they were going to trade it in or whatever, but a lot of people got cards sitting in their yard that they're not using or for whatever reason. That's what we need in Indiana for this lady. But the beautiful thing of it is, is.
I just have a chance to hear God's heart. when those people call. And I get a chance to pray. Because I know he loves him and I know he Is going to solve their situation. It's kind of fascinating.
I mean, often I'm sure we're not the solution to the situation, but he always is, right? Yeah, you tune into it. You gotta accept it. Yeah, 866-348-7884. What was your.

Why is the ocean blue? You know, what is it with this blue color? And maybe blue is your favorite color, like it is mine. I don't know, but it's kind of a neat thing.
The way that it's spelled in Hebrew and the way God uses it Is very much connected to the idea of wings, okay? Because. The reason the birds fly is because they have wings. But fascinatingly, Also connected to the way that God directed the Jews to wear their garments, and specifically these tassels that we've been describing. But I just want to.
Um Take a moment, and again, I would love for your calls to tell me about your true blue moment: 866-348-7884-866-34TRUTH to go through some of the references in the Bible where God is going to talk about His wings. And how amazing, right, his love is. And I hope you see a picture. It's fascinating to me where you find it, right?
So it starts out in Deuteronomy 32:11. It says, An eagle stirreth up her nest, floodeth. over her young spreadeth abroad her wings. Taketh them and beareth them on her wings. In other words, God's going to say that again, even in the book of Revelation.
He's going to. bear us on his wings. Really, really cool. This one just grabs you, right? It's in Ruth.
Right, so you you picture Naomi and Ruth here and Ruth is speaking to Naomi in this passage, and she says, The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee. that the Lord of God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to trust. Isn't that fascinating that Naomi would? Use those words. She didn't have David's Psalms to go back to.
She is. Interestingly, one of the the one of the first to mention the word trust. She's one of the first to use a lot of words. and here she comes using wings in this way Naomi does. speaking to Ruth and this again is David's great, great, great, great, great.
I'm you know how that works. But David, obviously, he took it right from there. And there are many Psalms. Here's just a few. Keep me as the apple of thy eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings.
Right? He is How excellent is thy loving kindness? See the connection again between love and wings? Because we know these are the commandments, and the commandments are about love, and it really, really boils down to that kind of idea. It says, O God, therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Think about it. How excellent is thy loving kindness, O God? Therefore, The children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. Psalm fifty-seven. the very first verse.
When he fled from Saul in the cave, be merciful unto me.
Okay, so this is a tough moment for. David. This is before he wrote a lot of other songs. Be merciful unto me, O God. Be merciful unto me, for my soul trusteth in thee.
In the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge. Under these calamities. And so it's it's The the But Nate Cool thing is, it's extremely biblical to ask. To come underneath the shadow of those wings, which is love. I mean, it just it it's a beautiful picture of that in so many different ways.
And that that word wings has all sorts of ideas. inside of it, but one of the major ones that I just want to hone in on today is this idea of love. Psalm 63, Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. And in his presence, right, and I'm just quoting the 16th Psalm, in His presence is fullness of joy. Right.
And so you w when he's got his wings wrapped around you, but which by the way, for me in that prayer shawl, it it's got those fringes and I feel because I know what I feel his wings when I wrap up in that thing and I I'd love to pray in it. I've seen pictures of birds that have their wings out with their loved ones. chickadees underneath the wings, keeping the weather off of 'em. And y if I picture that, this all makes a lot more sense to me. Otherwise I'm sort of picturing that hawk up there that I'm a little scared is going to come down and get me.
Well, if you think about this, all right, the earth And this is just another level of the whole issue. The earth is cursed. Has been since Adam Send. Right. And so just Jesus had to get off the ground when he was crucified.
He had to be raised up. Off the ground. In his own way, his wings were spread. Very much so. And if you want to see love, there it is, okay?
Um with this extension. But then You're being lifted up. In other words, we The closer we get to God, The more joy we feel, the more Love, we feel all those things. And so to come up in any way, shape, or form, which wings is how you go about doing that, or God's showing this in a physical form, any way that you can get. going towards heaven.
Because as you go down, things go bad. As you go up, You get closer to God. and closer to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, etc., etc. We got Jamal. I'm very excited to hear Jamal.

So, um one of my true blue moments is when I realized that Everything has been made in existence for The glory of God. Uh the the cosmos, this earth, humans. Plants, animals. Um Even Um life on a microscopic level. It all points back to his handy work Here's Um his Is his depths that we will probably never know, sorry, we will never know on this side of the grid.
Maybe on the other side. But when I found out everything has been woven But his handy works I guess I could say that was more. One of my true blue moments. Yeah, and how how did that did did you see like the truth project, or was there something where you saw that, where it was woven together?
Well, it was a, I'm a kind of a big YouTube guy. anything that's informational I'll try to grasp and absorb. And Lee Stroble was one of the guys that helped me out along that path. You know, the guy that was formed atheist. Oh, yeah, he was.
Yeah.
And um heard him speak at two cities and he gave this whole big speech on how everything's connected and how everything is uh Uh held in place. Uh by God's power.
So That was one of many moments to where it all tied in for me. But I gotta have to say, Lee Strobel helped really helped me on that trajectory. Oh yeah, he is he is terrific. And they do And I think the more we dig into God's word and the more we realize what you just described. it grows our faith that obviously even though this morning the printer didn't work and the computer I wanted to use didn't work and and you know, all those things happen, but clearly he's weaving something, right?
I would hope so. He is. I assure you. that um Uh To some extent, when things go right, I don't tend to pray as much as I should. Do you have that problem, Shamal?
Well, not putting on the spotlight, right? I better say yes.
Okay. Yeah, I I you know, it's it's it's it's it's like leaning on my own understanding. I do that way too much, and then all of a sudden when things start to not work, I just Oh yeah, I forgot. I need to look up. But go ahead, Jamal.
You had a thought. Yeah, and And I'll leave you guys after this, not to take up all of your time.
So I try to. have that um What's the thing? One of the students' favorite verses about always give thanks.
So I know that Romans 8:28 says, God works everything out for his good. Even you know the back And that really helped me in my walk as well.
However, If you look at a sunrise, you have a full plate of. food and you have your faculties. about you and all that. Um I can also look at anything good. and say, you know, thank you, God.
Um uh and also you can look at the bad because It can always be worse. And say, thank God I'm not there, that hasn't happened. And also, to the point towards good, I know Jamal hasn't worked anything good. his fortune for his benefits.
So Yeah, I can praise him in the light and in the dark. Absolutely beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, Jamal. I love it. Thank you, thank you.

What does blue have to do with true blue and true love? And no better example in all the scripture, I don't think, than where we saw The woman in Mark chapter 5. She had had an issue of blood for 12 years, and because of that, she was unclean for 12 years. She was isolated for 12 years. She had spent all her money on physicians and grew worse, and she was now.
Destitude. Yet she We could feel s confident knew what Malachi 4 said. The Son of righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. In other words, there's a new day coming. Mm-hmm.
In that day in Galilee, right, there's as Jesus had come back from healing the demoniac. He was walking on his way to heal Jarius' daughter. Who was dying but we didn't know yet was dead. And She does the unthinkable. You know, for a Jew to be unclean and touch a rabbi would be absolutely unthinkable.
Especially to touch his prayer shawl, which is what she did. And she touched that zitzit. She touched that tassel. I don't remember All I remember it saying was she touched him. And this is a how do you know?
Because go look carefully. If she touches the edge of it, the hem. Of his garment. And that's what it says. And when you say, I don't know, it's absolutely what it says.
And if you Do a deep dive, look back in the Septuagint, realize what she touched, she touched. that which is called as it's it, or that which is called these fringes that are from And so when she... Touch that. Jesus knew That power had gone out from him. It was In Greek dynamos, right?
That idea of like dynamite, like she, and he knew. And interestingly, he says, Who touched me?
Now. I think it's kind of like this is Robbie's impression that it's kind of like Adam was out there in in his, you know, Fig underwear, and God said, Adam, where are you? God knew exactly where Adam was, and there's no doubt in my mind, Jesus knew exactly who touched him. He wanted The woman to come out of hiding. He wanted her to to realize she's more important Then she knows.
And then it says Of course, the disciples are like, What are you talking about, Willis? He goes on, and it says he looked through the crowd for who touched him.
Well, of course. And he looked right at her. He caught her right by the eyes. And when she looked at that face, she saw Jesus. And can you even imagine what that was like?
And she knew, there's a beautiful part of the passage. She knew. And that word no is gigantic in there. Jesus knew that power had gone out of her, out of him, and she knew. that she was healed.
Before she talked to Jesus, this is laying on the ground. She knew. that she was healed. And that Begs the question. Do you know?
Deep down in your knower. Like she knew. That she wasn't ashamed. to come and tell Jesus all. The truth.
Right. Do you know? that you were healed. It's a huge question. And so, Jesus.
Listens. It's a beautiful thing, right? He listens to her tell the whole story.
Now, Jarius is jumping up and down over here because his daughter's dying. And he's like, what are you doing talking to this woman? And she's telling this whole story. And if you know women, she's telling a story. And that's good.
That's good because Jesus is more than willing to take time to hear her story because he knows he's got it all under control, but nobody else does. And then he ushers these words, and this is the gigantic, gigantic, huge part of the passage. That I hope Deep down in your knower, you know this. He says daughter. It's the only place in all the Scriptures that Jesus uses the word daughter.
He gives her a name. He gives her an identity. He. makes her part of the family. Your faith has healed you.
Well If you know that Jesus died for you, And you know that you were healed, right? And you confess that. You can know. Deep down in your knower. That you're a son or you're a daughter.
I mean, therein lies the idea of love. He died. For that woman, and for you, and for me, so that we could all be sons and daughters. And there it is. I mean, there's the beautiful, gigantic picture.
right here, right in this moment, as she touched these wings And he lifted her her wings, And this woman that seemed insignificant to the crowd, was the only person in the crowd who had the faith to touch him. Just like Peter was the only one who had the faith to get out of the boat. Anybody standing there, if they had had the faith and they knew where their problem was, they could have had. the same healing, but they didn't admit that they needed a Savior. Which was my problem.
For thirty some odd years, I didn't know that I needed a Savior. And so, like those other people, they didn't know they didn't need a savior and they didn't know they could touch his wings and that they would be healed. But let me tell you right now. If you think about it, you can have a Savior if you don't have one. And all you have to do is what she did.
You had to believe he is the Son of God, and she knew it. that he was rising with healing in his wings. And it was a new day, and it can be a new day for you. It could be a new day for me, right? And I could live Better today with that understanding than I did yesterday.
But again, it's a matter of. If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with your mouth, right, then you will, you can know deep down in your knower. And whether you email me, go tell somebody. Confess somewhere to somebody that you feel like is close to God and ask them to help you. Right, it is a prayer.
It is a prayer, God. I need you to save me. And she made that prayer when she grabbed the hem of his garment. And you can do that too. You can ask God.
He will do that.
So let's do it. Jesus, thank you, thank you, thank you for Your wings. Thank you for your love. That they illustrate. Thank you that we know that you can raise us up to heaven with those wings.
We thank you that you paid the ultimate price for our sins and died for us, that we would be able to have this, Lord. We pray that you would cleanse us from all unrighteousness and that you would make us your sons and your daughters. And we confess that you are our Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
It's fun stuff, right, Bill? It's refreshing, it's invigorating, it's energetic. Yeah, it's it's it's like you could fly. Ha ha ha ha. Yeah.
That's the idea, right? That that you know I I'm I'm I'm certain. That that's the idea. That it was no, you know, like, oh, well, we'll just use the word wings, that's arbitrary. No, no, no, no, no, no.
It it it it had always been the idea of like Even though they didn't have airplanes back in those days, they could see that birds could fly, and how did they do it? They had wings, right? It's beautiful to watch. I get that feeling when I go into water. Do you?
Yes, it's like floating around, flying around slowly through the. But it also is blue, I would just say. When you're lucky, it's blue. Yeah.
