Gay! Good morning, everybody. I'm Bart Winkler. Welcome into the Winkler Verse. It is the 18th of August.

It is just a random little Tuesday. Grant is out of office. I don't know where he is. He is somewhere Outdoor? Z.

So kudo to that.

So no mm-hmm this week. Um Instead. We've got a A little treat for you here. Freezing cold takes. You guys know about the social media account.

Many of us have fallen victim to freezing cold takes. I think. The worst one for me was when I said Devontae Adams should be cut. or traded for a six rounder. I don't know if you guys remember.

Devontae Adams right away was awful. That first preseason he played, he couldn't catch anything.

Now he turned in to be a great receiver and one of the best route runners of our time. I'm also a little sad about Devontae Adams. Because I don't know what happened to him. Um I don't like how his story changed. I don't remember Devontae Adams the way.

That I wish I did. I want him. He played for seven, eight years with the Packers. And I I wanted to think that he was like This generation Sterling Sharp. Where Eight years with the Packers could have been the greatest of all time had he played longer.

But I do think that last year of Rodgers, Rodgers, I do blame Rodgers. For getting into Devontae's head that there's greener grass elsewhere. Because Rogers wanted out. Misery loves company. You want to take somebody with you.

And I think when they shared the last dance stuff on Instagram, it was those two guys being like, we're better than this.

So, Rogers left, and it hasn't gone well for him. Post-Green Bay, but he needed to leave. The Packers were telling him. You're gone. Devonta, that was more on his own accord.

He could still be here. If he wanted now, he wanted. more money than the Packers, I think, were willing to give him. I do think there could have been. Uh, some more wiggle room there.

I like. That we have three guys in Watson. And read. And golden. You know, we've got like a dev uh a defined wide receiver group.

But obviously, it'd be a lot better with Devontae Adams. And Devontae Adams, for all these people, thinking that Jordan Love could be something. Devontae Adams never did. Did not want to usher Jordan Love. Along, and I think Jordan Love could really use a guy like Devontae Adams.

Jordan Love throws a lot of balls. That He puts it where the receiver can get it. He also does more than, he's more far than Rodgers. In the sense of like, I trust my receiver. I'm going to throw it and let him make a play.

Favre was just like, fuck it. This ball is going into the sky. We'll see what happens. Rogers is like. I'm only throwing this ball if there's a 99.8% chance or greater that there won't be an interception.

And love, I think, is in the middle where. He's throwing a smart ball, but He will Allow the receiver to make a play, and he'll take the risk. Maybe he doesn't make a play, and it's an interception, and that's going to be on me, but I'm. I'm throwing down to my guy. And Devontae and him, I think, could have really been a tough duo.

I think Jordan love. If he had somebody like Devontae to throw to the confidence that he would have. I think Devonta, if he just had a little bit of fucking patience. But he had to get out of here so fucking bad.

So Rogers is like back with McCarthy, and I'm going to root for him because I like that reunion. Devontae, I don't got a lot of root for. I don't really, out of sight, out of mind, I suppose. The two years with the Raiders were a joke, and then somehow he ended up with the Jets, even more of a joke. And now he's with the Rams.

And he's like I mean, he had a good season last year. What did he do last year? Oh. Sixty catches. But he was targeted 114 times.

60 catches, 789 yards. And he led the league in touchdowns with 14.

So, yes, he Oh, he's a big red zone threat. Hold on. Are you okay? Buddy. Hey.

There's a big crash upstairs. I'm going to go check on that. I'll pause this in real time. All right, all is well. No summer camp this week for the boy.

And so I got to sneak down in the basement to record some stuff. Including with Fred Siegel of Freezing Cold Takes. He'll join us here in a minute. Um My kids upstairs playing WWE 2K26. And so on these no camp weeks.

A little more YouTube than I would like, a little more camp than I would, or a video game than I would like. But last night he had swimming. Tonight we're doing soccer.

So he's out. He's getting air and. energy it's just that you know I'm not a cam counselor. I'm not coming up with eight hours of shit. We watched our niece and nephew one time years ago before a kid, and we were tired after, and we realized it's because we had to.

Entertain them the whole time, you know. Come to Milwaukee, you want to be wined and dined by your aunt and uncle. And then we thought, with a kid, you know, we want to have to entertain him all the time. He can play by himself. But that doesn't seem to be the case with this one.

Needs constant attention and I'll miss it, of course. But also When you're just trying to get 45 minutes on a podcast a day, when that's like your job and you can't find time to do it because. You gotta play 2K26 all day. We're really into the My GM mode.

So We played three hours yesterday. That's probably a bad idea. I should get him outside. Shit. But he's okay.

The controller just fell. There was a big crash upstairs. The controller fell, and then I said, Are you okay? And then I heard nothing so. You assume the, you don't really think anything's, but you got to check.

You gotta check. Short story long, Fred Siegel, Freezing Cold Takes, will be with us. I think I've said my piece on Devontae. I've always. I've never been Like I like Devontae.

But I always called him a diva in disguise. I always said in any other situation, he won. His natural habitat is Diva receiver. We just haven't seen it. And then I think we saw it, and now.

You know, you leave, and I just don't think that he made the right decision.

Now, What would he tell you? I don't know. But I really wish Jordan Love was throwing the ball to Devontae Adams. I wish we could see that. But Devante gave up.

Devante gave up.

So Freezing cold take on Devontae for thinking Jordan love is not going to be that good, right? Fred Siegel's got a new book out. Freezing cold takes college football with a even longer title I'll Dissect with him in a Second, our good buddy Mike Wickett's in this book, too. I'm going to ask him. About that.

The book is out today. Hashtag wherever you get your books. But um Fred started this account about 11 years ago and it's It's kind of with him now, man. He is, once you become freezing cold take guy, you're freezing cold take guy forever. But he's a good dude.

He's been on the show before. When we were doing the pre-tape, I said. Hey, thanks for coming on again. He goes, Yeah, I remember you're not, what happened? I go, laid off.

He goes. Yeah, yeah, I I see your account. You you seem to have a lot of thoughts on the industry. And I'm like, well. They're pretty fucking freezing cold if I'm sitting here talking to you in my basement, Fred.

We are brought to you by Happy Play Sam, promo code BART 25% off. Each and every order 25% off all orders at happyplacehemp.com. him in action in our two-hour live stream.

So, Fred's next, and that'll be the podcast today. I was going to tack on something at the end. It was just going to be me bitching about Keyshawn Nixon. There's this whole argument now that Some Packer fans want him cut, and then the argument is: no, he's good depth. The argument is that's stupid.

The argument is he shouldn't be a starter.

So I think we all agree on that. And some are just very frustrated with him: that addition by subtraction. I think he's terrible. He doesn't want to tackle. He's not that good in coverage.

I wouldn't mind if they cut him. Depth be damn. You want depth? Go get Adam Archuletta. Fucking out of retirement.

I don't fucking care.

So, no, this week, we'll be back next week. There will be a Packer post on Friday. And I don't know what I'm doing the next two days, so we'll all be surprised together. But today, We've got Fred Siegel of Freezing Cold Takes. He'll join us coming up.

In the Winkler Burse. Nothing beats tradition, like weekly game nights at mom's house and tostitos. Crafted with masa made the traditional way, starting with whole corn kernels with flavors worth gathering around, like a hint of lime and Mexican street corn, and no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. That's the Tostitos way. Bring Tostitos to your next game night and you'll be winning either way.

Tostitos, tradition matters. Mom and Dad, I'm growing at an alarming rate, and clothes you buy me this year will be very small, very soon. But at least your wallet doesn't have to be my fashion victim with low prices for school at Amazon. Hope that helps. Amazon, spend less, smile more.

Good morning, everybody. I am Bart Winkler, and welcome into the Winklerverse. And our guest is Fred Siegel. And you're like, I've heard that name. Yes, you have.

Freezing cold takes. He is the man behind it. There is a new book out. It's the college, we're going to call it the college football. One.

It is called Freezing Cold Takes College Football. An incomplete history of the game's most inaccurate statements and predictions. Because, Fred, every book is a 30-word title now. Did you pick that or did they make you look? How did that?

There's a lot of words. Yeah, no, well, I think Freezing Colt Haste College Football, we want it to be like the big title and then I guess under it. They did something else. I guess I collaborated with them on that. I don't know how it was a couple emails back and forth.

You know, you do a book. I just want to publish this book, name it whatever you want. You work a book, you work on a book for so long, and then all of a sudden, these other details come in, and it's just like. I guess. I mean, and I was just like, you're the book guys.

You know what's good and bad. You do it. Yeah. I'm going to present you what I want, figure out how it moves copies, however. You got to call it or whatever.

The last time I had Fred on it was to talk about the NFL book. And we had the Milwaukee show. You had, I was, you had the national show exposure. Today, we're just in the Winklerverse, but that's not a bad thing.

Okay. I'm happy to be in the Winklerverse. I'll do the Winklerverse anytime. That's what I'm going for. We'll cut that and make it a promo, even though we don't run promos or do that.

Let me first talk about that, because like the last time, and I think you get this a lot, is How did you start? Why are you doing this? You know, all that stuff. I'm gonna Fast forward that question. Because I and I've noticed this too, like.

I've worked some jobs that I think are dream jobs. But even then, it starts to feel like. you know, work. And like, this is just a job. Are you so far into this that there's no way out now?

I mean, are you, are you, are there days where you're like, why did I do this? I mean, it's great, but there's got to be some days where you get tagged by the millionth person for the millionth same thing. You got to be like, all right, I know what I'm doing here. Yeah, running the social feeds, sometimes I feel that way. But but it allows it what it allows me to do these books, which I really love.

I love it so much writing these books. And hopefully one day, maybe I will do something, be able to do something that's not. Even on this topic, and just do another sports book nonfiction that I can do. But I just love writing the books.

So, like, when I'm doing the books, no, I never feel that way. But uh sometimes with the social feed, yeah. I mean sometimes even I'll even route like there's a big game and some team is coming back. And they're about to win. I'll root against them occasionally.

just because it's late and I don't want to deal with all the postings.

Well, that's so. I don't understand. And maybe. Maybe it's part of people that Are in the business, but it's not just. I mean, you'll go not go after, but you'll, if there's a take that's cold.

It doesn't have to be like. a radio guy or whatever. I just I and I and this happens when I'm watching games like I'll watch a game. And it'll be 14-0. And everyone's saying it's over, it's over.

And I'm just like. What is the need? Why is there a human need? To do that when there's so much time left. When you're not going to get any points for being like, hey, remember that 49-0 game you knew when it was 14?

Like, no one cares. The only thing you can do is. Make a fool of yourself.

So I feel like I'm all, you know, high and mighty. And then I'll watch these games. Halfway through the first quarter, I'm like, that's over. And I and I want to like talk about it. And then, of course.

It doesn't. No matter how many times you find people or you you expose them or whatever. We don't stop. People can't stop doing. the thing that you're waiting for them to do.

I'm asking you, promote, you're promoting a book. I'm asking you a human evolution question. Why are people like this? I think, I mean, I think it's the basic. need to react to everything.

And also the basic need to, and it's just everybody wants to be, to get engage about a certain topic. Because if it's a game, they want engagement about that. game or sometimes it's just for the sake Occasionally, folks will sacrifice rationality for the sake of making a joke. Because, oh, it's 14-0. It's a perfect time to make fun of this player or team.

I don't care if I'm going to make the joke anyway because it's a perfect timing for the joke.

So that time sometimes too, but I think it's just a basic need to overreact everything. Sports and especially college football. really lend to that. Because not only are you talking about the game being lost at 14 zip in the first quarter. You're talking about all the The ramifications of that game being lost.

Oh, this team's not going to be in the playoff anymore. This team's not going to make a bowl game. This coach is going to get fired. All that stuff is right on the table. And you don't want to wait to do it.

Just want it you want to be able to talk about it right then and there.

Well, in college football specifically, which is the subject of this book. It lends itself to this more. For whatever reason, it feels like. It feels like if a team goes up 14 to nothing, let's say, let's use that score again, and there's five minutes left in the first quarter. Fourteen five minutes left in the first quarter in college football.

is like nothing. It's like two games to go in the NFL. There's so many games. I don't know if it's because the games feel longer or if teams can score quicker. But if you got a 14-0 game.

Five minutes ago in the first quarter, there's a much better chance that that team's going to lose. Woo! 49 to 45 Then they're just going to like continue to Kick the hell or kick the hell. kick the shit out of this other team. In college, it's got to be, you're right.

It's just so ripe for that because the games. They're so high scoring. They're so back and forth. Maybe the quality of play is not as good. And the first down, the clock stops in the first down, and there's so many passes.

And the commercial, well, I mean, the commercials are so long. That's why the games are so long. If you know a national game, in college football. I mean, I've been to a bunch. Recently, where I just like, I don't want to do this anymore.

I don't want to do this anymore. The commercials are so long, like the commercial breaks. But yeah, so college football, there's so much time to go. I mean, you never, and teams score so fast. There's also a lot more big plays, so teams can score really fast and quick.

So it could be 14-0 and then be 21-14. with seven minutes left in the second. And I think too colleges like Colleges where it can be the most. But the most impactful or the most like Oh my god, how did you think that? Just because.

In college, in the NFL, there's 32 teams. There is some level of parity. Yeah, there's going to be four or five teams that are really good, and there's going to be three or four teams that are really bad. But in college, like... The gap between these teams.

You take Ohio State against like a bowling green.

Okay. If Bowling Green goes up seven.

Someone from Poland Green is gonna. you know, look stupid. But then also in the Big Ten. Ohio State's far above any or most of the conference. And then you've got like.

the Heisman and you've just got all these things where it's like It's a playground for these kinds of takes to happen. And I'm sure the book is I've skipped, you know, I've skimmed through it and looked through it. Um, there's got to be some doozies, yeah, and And There's you always have it seems like we get amnesia. We don't remember what happened the year before. The year before, all these things happen.

Like the first week, there's going to be declarations about certain teams after how they perform the first week. And we always forget that these things change so quickly throughout the season. But it just It's just something that we have to forget. We just decide to forget no matter what. Yeah, there's so many things like that in the book during games, especially.

I have some great games. But those really only cap, those really only, the best ones really only are from the. The social media era because you don't really have Commentary during games before social media, except for maybe a halftime shows or maybe by an announcer during a game, but. Um yeah, I mean there's games like that. There was a game like UCLA was up 38 something or other to, I mean, Texas AM was up like 38.

10 maybe against UCLA? Yeah. The Rose Bowl, not in the Rose Bowl game, but at the stadium and the first game of the year. In 2017, That was a good one. Um, there's a lot of games like that that you could focus on in the book during the middle of the game.

type thing. Uh which I have numerous. numerous ones in that book just like that one. Where and some ones from the past, like during a halftime show, I caught something from like 1988. Like Miami was down against Michigan.

They looked like they were going to lose in the guy.

So now that Miami's lost to Michigan, they went to one of those score breaks in the studio for like a minute.

Now the Miami's lost the mission. Who's going to be number one? And then Miami came back and won that game.

So, I mean, it was still going on back then. If Twitter was around, I'm sure in that game, there would have been a. a bunch of things.

Well, that's so what when you've got this book, because people, you know, it's a social media account.

So people are like. Oh, okay.

Well, he's been doing this. He'll just, he'll grab. The most popular or the most made fun of things for the last 10 years or whatever. But like you said. There's a lot of cold takes before Social media.

During the era of social media, Yes, watching a game, people are going to say something in the first quarter or in the second quarter. But this book. It's not just the last 10 years.

So how did how did you how did you f how do you know to find A sports minute during a game in 1988? How do you know what newspaper articles define? How do you? Like, that's got to be. You sit down to write this book, you're like, I'll just search my bookmarks, and then you're like, college football has been going on a lot longer than 10 years.

Well, you don't get it with just a search. I'll tell you that. You don't get it with searching, you have to watch.

So there are certain games I knew was a comeback. like a big comeback.

So I'd I'd go to and watch the game most of the times. They're available, the games. And I can watch them and I watch it. From the point, like where the team got up a bunch of points, and then I listen to what the announcers say during that time, otherwise, um, there were. specific go-to media columns.

Back then, there was a guy for like so many different newspapers and a national guy who would cover the media. Yeah. They have a media column. And they'd post. like regular analysis about the media and then like they'd write.

Towards the end, some like clips or like just tidbits of fun stuff that happened during the week. And sometimes they'll say. You know, this guy said. The canes were out of it, or whatever. And then that would.

That would alarm me to go watch that. And find it.

So that's how I find it. But you got to look at every one. I've looked at. Hundreds, hundreds of media columns, and hundreds of hundreds of college football summary columns from like. 1985 to like 2005.

So that's how you find it. There's and also like You find Things that people wrote in the newspaper. Um, I, you know, you. You look at this book and you're like, okay, I want to read this whole book, but I also want to know: is my team in here at all? And I found a few mentions of the Wisconsin Badgers.

Oh yeah. Yeah, well the Barry Alvarez era. Uh Harry Alvarez, if I can recall, was not prone to play. Um, schedules, non-conference schedules, hard non-conference schedules. Right.

We used to take a lot of crap for that. I mean there were a couple games. There was a game against Cincinnati. At Cincinnati in 99. That they lost.

They had a great year after that. But they lost that Cincinnati. Cincinnati was a terrible team. And the predictions before that were like. La da da da da da da da d that it wasn't even going to be close.

There was another one against UNLV. In 2003. I think that game was at Wisconsin. They gave up 50 points to UNLV that time. UNLV stunk too.

But then there's also the one like in the Rose Bowl. There was one where Craig James said that Wisconsin was the worst team ever to make the Rose Bowl. It was 1998 season, I think it was. And yeah, they played Stanford. Right.

And Wisconsin, it was a Ohio State had an amazing team that year, amazing team. And we're Could have been possibly the best team in the country that year, but they blew a game at home. against Nick Saban in Michigan State. They were up by a lot and they were favored by a lot and they lost. And then there was a three-way tie.

For the Rose Bowl between Michigan and Ohio State, and for the Big Ten championship, and Wisconsin. And Wisconsin won the tiebreaker. And Craig James is like, this is the worst Wisconsin team. This is the worst team ever to play in the Rose Bowl. And then they won the Rose Bowl.

So like that one is uh and and and even Um Bob Greasy was like, that's. That's one of the worst things he's ever said, Greg James.

Well, it's so weird. It's weird with that example. Because They're not the worst team to play in the Rose Bowl. Right. But.

Craig's trying to make a point. But you can make and I'm not just against Craig James. We're using him as the example because This is back to my fascination with people know. But then they still do. The Badgers in that Rose Bowl were not the worst team to ever play in a Rose Bowl.

But There's just like He's so confident that they're going to lose. That saying it doesn't hurt. And that's again the hubris of a lot of people that just All these people, we get so many things wrong. We make bets and lose every bet we ever make. And then the very next chance we get to make a prediction.

We do it with 100% confidence. Yeah, 100% doesn't seem to break, and it doesn't, and you have to do it, you have to be hyperbolic about it, too. You could see you'll see that on Twitter or whatever, like, if there's like a You know, I guess just take the Jordan-LeBron debate, like it's a close debate, maybe, okay? But someone will say, but this is just an example. Uh Jordan's better than LeBron, and it's not even close.

Oh, that bothers me. It's not even close. That pisses me off. There are so many things that you just have to say that this person is better than the other person. This team is better than the other team.

But it is close. This player is a first cut. Ballot Hall of Famer Time Clubs. You will be close whether they're first Hall of Fame or you don't have to, it's not bad to say that. That is just You don't have to do any of this.

Yeah. But people, like, yeah, you could just say, oh, he's better. But it's not even like, what are you doing? But that's really like sports analysis kind of has evolved to. Just declarations, proclamations, and then discussing persons' declarations or proclamation.

One person makes a proclamation on sports media, and then twelve people write about it in a column a column or a article or a blog. And then everybody discusses what they said. Well, let me bring up the thing with the Badgers, too, is they're in the book either. Succeeding in a Rose Bowl where they weren't. Thought to or the more badger thing that Fans' experiences. they lose an early season game horribly. Yeah.

And plateau at 11 and 2. Which was what was happening.

Now they just suck. Um, like I tried to write, I tried to find some stuff about when Barry Alvarez was hired, but it was a It was treated as a really good hire. When Barry Alvarez was hired, I mean, the bad Wisconsin was terrible at the time, just like an awful, awful program. When Barry Alvarez was hired, and Alvarez had just won the national championship, I think, as a defensive coordinator in Notre Dame. And it was treated like it was a great hire.

So I couldn't find it.

Well, they just got a new AD that everyone's pretending is Jesus.

So you can bookmark it. That's another thing about college. Usually, the second someone's hired and they have a press conference, everyone believes in them. You want to believe so bad. They won the press conference today.

You want to believe so bad in any type of higher college sports. One of my former colleagues and friend of show Mike Wickett is in this book. The prediction here was Tate Forcier 2009. Yeah, he was like the flavor of the month that month. Tate Forcier, he was a quarterback from Michigan.

It was. Rich Rodriguez's second year there. And he was and he was coming back to win a lot of games he came back to win against notre dame He came back to win against the Uh yeah. Another team, I forgot, but then against Michigan State, he also came back to make it overtime, which they ended up losing the game. And I think Mike.

Said that he's gonna win a Heisman Trophy. I mean, that's in my Heisman Trophy, future Heisman book, which talks about. When a person says that a player is going to win the Heisman sometime in the future. Yeah, so this guy was a true freshman. It was a 92-yard drive he led.

And Mike Wickett in Milwaukee. I cannot believe how amazing Forcier is. He will win a Heisman before he leaves Ann Arbor. Minutes later, after the tweet, he threw a costly interception in Michigan lost. They were five and seven.

He was out of football. That was his peak. That 98-yard drive was the peak. A 4CA.

So you could say that Wicket jinxed it. Is completely well, there is. He'll tell you there is a wicked jinx. Oh, there is.

Well, he did it. I think if Tate Forcier. I don't think ever played it down again after that season. Um uh uh uh he could owe his career downfall in football to wicket. Yeah, Wickets ruined a lot of careers.

He tried to ruin mine when I was producing for him. That's a joke, but is it?

So, but that's the thing, like. With With Mike and with these guys. Is there And me or whoever you get. Is there like a preferred reaction? Because some people are like.

Whatever, no big deal, and they defend it. That looks lame. But then also, and when there's people that are like, Mom, I made it. I got freezing cold takes. I feel like that's kinda lame too.

Do you just want people to be like? I mean, there's no preferred one. I mean, I guess the way you could retweet your own, just like for me. You gotta. I mean, freezing all takes, you gotta do it.

I mean, some people may want to. May some people may want to post a reply to it. Saying it because then well, for frown, you don't get why I wrote that. I wrote that because at the time, you see. At the time is always frowned upon.

But there's also Stands of that person's personality, that radio personality, who will defend that personality by saying at the time. And usually I call those a to be fair. Tweets. To be fair, replies. To be fair, at this time, nobody thought, nobody thought it was going to be.

Yeah, I know, still. That's why you said it, and that's why your take is now. Freezing cold, and that's why we are exposing your old take. I mean, that's right, yeah, exactly.

So, those types are like. You know, but yeah, the guy who says, Mama, I made it. That's what Yeah, I guess it's kind of lame, but in a sense, it's like good for the feed. Yeah, it's good for the branding of the feed.

So that's it's that's definitely better than than than Eat shit and die. Complaining about it's the worst you can get. I mean, that's going to get that's probably going to give you, everyone's going to give you crap about it. And then sometimes those people get into the hole of replies, replies, replies to all those people. That never goes well.

Even if you're right. Yeah, no one cares if you're right. The only people that ever bring up the times you're right are yourself. Exactly. But they do it a lot.

Like Prad, when the Bucks were down 2-0 in the NBA Finals, and I put out parade cheers because I said they're not losing this series, and then they won't.

Okay. So, I mean, no one brings that up, only me.

Okay. Only I bring that up because no one cares when you're right. Only, yeah, yeah. I mean, I think there is a fee that that. That post highlights the right takes.

Yeah, but no one cares. I don't think it gets as much engagement because people don't care as much. Yeah, because we're a terrible society and we root for downfalls rather than success. Absolutely, yes. Yeah.

Do you have?

So for the upcoming season, do you got. A lot in the chamber, like, oh, I saw this and I'm gonna get them, or is it more, you know? You're sitting there and people are like. They're telling you what happened.

Well, a lot of people tell me, but the best stuff usually comes after week one or two. Because then they've seen a game. And one of the most With football, especially college football, the overreactions about a game, because you tend to think. that somehow we tend to think that However, they played in a great game in the first game. Once they play great in that first game, that's how they're going to play the rest of the year, no matter what.

You know, like somehow we continue to think that we forget that it's possible they could lose. And especially in college, like. The team that is out there week one is so different than week seven for like every team. Yeah. So, I mean that that type of thing, yeah.

Yeah. So that's what, I mean, yeah.

So that type of thing, the first two weeks. Those are the ones that you really put in the chamber. Freezing cold takes college football. It is out as of today. Yeah, today.

Yeah, Freezing Gold Taste College Football, get it anywhere you. Order books. Um Amazon, Barnes and Noble, any of those sites. and hopefully in your bookstore. I think there we need to.

Like If people want the book. Yeah, go wherever you get books. I'm just so tired of saying, How do you listen to your show? And like Wherever you get your podcast. Yeah, exactly.

Wherever you get your podcast. How do we not know where to go buy a book or listen to a podcast? Right, right. Yeah, yeah. But it makes you feel better that you told them.

You say to yourself, and if I wouldn't have said it. And we hung about, I would say, I would get mad at myself. I had an opportunity to tell them where the book was. Which I didn't ask you to tell us where it was until. Half hour in.

Yeah. So I do these podcasts for an hour, and then people are like, all right, Bart, where can we find you? What's your Twitter handle? Aren't they having listening to it? Yeah.

It don't matter. Although, we've got a die-hard audience in the Winklerverse, and we'll move, I can promise you, at least. At least two copies will move. All right, all right. Feeling good about the no cold tank on that one.

We will move, we will move two books, guys. I will take it, I would take two. Easily. It'd only be worth going on the Winkler verse if I get two. If I get one, and I'm going to say it was a waste of my 20 minutes.

I could have been sitting down doing nothing. those 20 minutes that's how many guests feel after a time Fred. Fred Siegel, freezing cold takes. Appreciate your time. And good luck and we'll talk to you for the next one.

All right. Thanks so much, Mark. Mm-hmm.
