The Brewers Cubs rivalry is a complex and passionate one, with both teams having their own strengths and weaknesses. Craig Counsell's leadership has been a topic of discussion, with some questioning his tactics and others praising his ability to adapt. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy's reunion has sparked interest, with many wondering what the future holds for the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs.

We will be talking Brewers' Cubs today. David Kaplan of ESPN Chicago and the recap. It's a good name. Is set to join us here momentarily. Going to talk some Aaron Rodgers on the audio pod, as well as go through some voicemails and lament about my savers.

But the Brewers go down to Wrigley and take one from the Cubs. Let's talk about it here. In the And here he is, David Kaplan joining us, the cap man. I have not chatted with you probably in a long time. But it's good to have you back at ESPN 1000.

In Chicago. He's got his recap. He's in his beautiful studios. This is my basement. Yours looks nicer than mine.

Uh, how are you, man? I'm doing well, Bart. Good to see you. Yeah, I've got Brady and Katie and Ryan all here, and we're gonna make some content after I'm done making content with you. And yeah, we had uh not had a good few days in Cubland, so I know that's where you're probably gonna head.

I'd rather talk Bears, Packers, but we can go anywhere you want to go.

Well, let's encompass everything for a second because this is as percolated. As any of this has I feel like ever been. And then who knows if like the Bulls decide to be good or somehow trade for Giannis, that'll be a disaster. Not happening. I think I couldn't handle it.

But that's already my thing. I can't I personally This is too much for me. Packers, Bears. Brewers Cubs. Every day it's something.

I think the answer is just get offline. And I'll be more happy. But like I just win or lose. The weight of these rivalries is kind of crushing me, Cap. That's what makes it so much fun.

That's what people tell me, but I'm a fat loser. If you lose, like we did for so many years to. The Packers, it's not fun. Like, you're too young. I remember in the 80s when the Bears dominated the rivalry.

Like, We lost one game. What? Yeah, I mean, we never lost to the Packers. And then it all flipped, and it went. three decades where I remember Mitch Trubisky beating Aaron Rodgers for the division championship, and that was like a meteor hit Earth.

And then we keep losing, and now finally, Ben Johnson's here. Caleb Williams is here, and it was a lot of fun to win three of the last four, come from behind to win the playoff game. Are you kidding me? Yeah, it was amazing.

Well, those are my gripes with the Packers. It's the coach. I can't stand this guy. I don't like my own coach. I don't know why they didn't move on.

I know Tucker Kraft was hurt and Micah Parsons was hurt. I also know they were up 21-3 in Chicago at halftime and they blew that. I don't Expect the and we will talk cubs, you're right, but I don't expect the bears to be. Like, I think a lot of people are like, okay, the door's open. The Bears are going to the Super Bowl this year.

I don't think that, but I'm not sure that the Packers are going to be the ones that get in their way. I mean, would I be shocked if the Bears went to the Super Bowl? I mean, literally, sitting right over there was Tyson Bagent the other day promoting a kids' camp that he runs to give back to the community. And my partner asked him about, you know, what do you think of this season? And he said, I'm not going to beat around the bush.

We're going to the Super Bowl and we're winning it. He said, that's our mentality, and that's what's going to happen. And he said, I told my dad, my girl, and my daughter. We're going to spend Valentine's Day winning the Super Bowl. Super cool.

And it's gotten almost a million views on Instagram for us. That's great. Do I believe that's going to happen? I mean, I think they're a good team. I think they're going to win the division again.

I do. And I think Caleb Williams is legit. Colston Loveland, legit. Our O-line, legit. But I don't know if we have a pass rush.

So we'll see.

Now, you may be saying to yourself as you consume this. I thought these guys were going to talk Brewers Cubs to start.

Well, what's interesting about that is every time I turn on anything, Chicago, whether it's football or not. This green bay sucks chant. I don't get it. It's gotta go, man. It's never gonna go.

I mean, we're at the Quick Snacks versus Cubs. Green Bay sucks. Yeah. Why? You guys are the ones that go, the bears still suck.

You guys are just as guilty as we are. We have a song we play during the games. It's not like we get drunk on Friday night and put that in the jukebox 15.

Well, I shouldn't talk for all of the state. My son and I were walking out of Soldier Field, which I hate going to games there. I like football on my couch way better than being there. But we're coming through the tunnel, and it was, I think the Bears were playing like the Colts that day. It's after the game, Bears won.

The Packers are the farthest thing from our mind. And then the whole chant all the way through the tunnel to get back out of Soldier Field is. The Packers suck. Yeah, that's weird. It's magnificent.

They do it at Bulls games, they do it at Blackhawks games. It's the greatest. Look, I was raised by a dad who told me. We Never root for the Green Bay Packers. Like, I don't like the St.

Louis Cardinals. I don't like the Milwaukee Brewers. I despise the Packers. And they're to despise us. Yes, we do.

Where do the brewers now? Because I think this Brewers-Cubs rivalry. It's very strange. I did grow up a Cubs guy and a Brewers guy, American League, National League. And then the moment the Brewers switch.

Okay, I have to punt.

Sorry, Cubs, but like I like the Dawson and the Sambrig and any. Anybody did. But there's a lot of people that didn't switch. There's way too many Packers Cubs fans on that border. That's weird.

Um But then like... Both teams are kind of whatever. The Cubs win a World Series, so you take that away. From any of the rivalry banter. But really, ever since then, like the Brewers have been on top of the Cubs for the most part.

Going back to game 163 or this past postseason, it has to be excruciating. to be a Cubs fan, see the brewer, like you're spending big money. And then the brewers make this trade for a Kyle Harrison, and The Miz has to be like, oh my God, you guys have to just hate The Miz. All these guys that keep recycling, it's like, where are these people?

So, where are the Brewers? Ranking in everything right now in terms of. Even just your hatred.

So, I don't dislike the Milwaukee Bucks. They're just, you know, like gum on my shoe, whatever. I mean, you don't have a hockey team. The Bucs aren't very good. And when they won, I was happy for Giannis.

I like Giannis. I do. Disagree with him vehemently when he had his little rant with one of the members of the media where he said. No, we did not fail. Did you fail at your job?

Oh, that was terrible. I was very mad about that. Very mad. When you are in it and you have the, look, I'm not telling you this year that the Baltimore Orioles are going to come from wherever they're at and win the World Series. But if you are all in, the Cubs, the Yankees, if you're all in, You fail if you don't get the ring.

Period.

Sorry, Giannis. That's just a fact. But The Milwaukee Brewers. It's Packers. Absolutely the bastion of hatred.

And I'm like right there with the Brewers. I've had enough of them, enough, and they're good. I mean, it's the ultimate sign of respect because I think they run their business better than the Cubs do. Whether it's training for Kyle Harrison, that was us when we traded for Jake Arietta. That's the same type move, although Arieta would want to sigh, but this guy's really freaking good.

And, you know, you come up with Bryce Terang, you're trading who? Caleb Durbin? Yeah, we're going to get this picture back. And we're all like, oh boy, I don't know if the brewers know what they're doing. You better figure out that they do know what they're doing.

And I remember. Vehemently sitting in this studio when we stole Craig Council, you were beside yourself. And guess what? You can have this freaking guy. Vanilla as they come, no accountability.

Ian Hap is 22 for his last 37 strikeouts. 22 strikeouts, his last 37 at bats.

So, you know what we did with him yesterday? We moved him out of the four-hole. Thank God. We put him in the three-hole. I mean, I don't know what this guy's doing.

I do not understand him as a manager, and I think he's vastly overrated and grossly overpaid.

So when he did go to the Cubs.

Now, when he so it's very interesting because right now David Stearns is out in New York, kind of not doing well. And Craig Council, you may have looked and been like, how do they do it? And now the Cubs have them. And it's like, wait a minute, how did they do it? They've moved on from those guys and they aren't having the level of success they're having in their new places.

I didn't. We had been talking about council because I'd go in those locker rooms, and the thing about council is. You never get too high and you never get too low. And for a while, that's fine. But you gotta get like higher than nothing.

And I think I think the team Really, at the end, there started to take on his. Oh, it's whatever. And now you're seeing that, I think, like. This is his old team. This is the Milwaukee Brewers coming down, punking your ass in three games.

And you do what with it? Nothing. That's the thing. If you told me, all right, you don't have Steele, you don't have Horton, Cabrera got a blister, Matt Boyd tore up his knee, so he's out for another three or four weeks, and we lost eight to six.

Okay, you know, we'll ride through it, but the offense is trying. We have a really good defensive club. No, no, no. We were your bitch for the last three days. We got punked.

Absolutely punked. And that's the most ridiculous thing. Like, you should have beat the White Sox on Sunday, gave that game away. All right, that happens. It's just To lose the way we did the last three days, okay, the Miz is great.

I figured. Went over sprout. You lose the Miz game, you got to figure out a way to beat Harrison. And guess what? You got punked.

Well, we got a freebie in center last night from PCA. Yeah, he was after the game. He said, What I've done the last two days is laughable. And he's right. I just think he needs a day off.

And Craig's already come out and said, no, no, he doesn't need a day off. He'll be in the lineup on Friday. He shouldn't have played against The Miz. And then, after dropping a ball in that game, Craig should have said, Hey, guess what? They got a really tough lefty going.

You're sitting and we're going to play Matt Shaw, or they're going to bring Bart in and he's playing center. And you're taking a day. I remember talking to Joe Madden, and he told Anthony Rizzo, okay, I do not want you at batting practice. You're not allowed in Wrigley Field until 6:30 for a 7.05 game. I got Done with pregame, and I'm walking out with my partner, David DeJesus, to go back to the studio to do the post.

And it may have been like a quarter to seven. And I'm walking out. And I'm like, hey, Riz, what are you doing? He said, Joe won't let me put cleats on. He told me I can't get in here to almost first pitch.

And guess what? The next day, he He cleared his head. He had three hits in a home run to win a ball game. Craig's not built that way, and I don't understand how. Finding ways to be financially savvy is a smart move, and knowing you could be saving money for the things you really want, like that dream home or new ride, is a great feeling.

So this is where I think It is it is on not to you know talk about This profession and what we have done. But as a sports radio host, you get to have. the megaphone of how the fans are feeling You have the pulpit. You should be able to make change. I think you should be able to help with the fans' bully in the state of Wisconsin.

As you may know, We don't know how to do that. We would rather, whatever the Packers do is good. Like, Anybody that wanted LaFleur fired me. I'm the bad guy, even though he just lost the last five games in a row, because everyone is so like. Needs to be like every fan thinks if they criticize their teams around here, they will either lose their fandom or like.

You know, Ed Policy will show up the door and say, I need to take all your Packer things back. You've been naughty this year. I don't know if everyone in Chicago is equipped to do it down by you, but there's got to be. That that torch that you guys have. Do you think you can enact bully change on Craig Counsel to at least show some fire sometime in his guys?

I try, Bart, on a daily basis. Like, my style. I just tell the truth. I don't attack personally. Pursue doesn't work for me.

That you may be right in that state, it may be different. I I never attack personally. Craig Counsel, I'm sure, is a wonderful husband and a great father and a good friend to his friends. I'm sure he is. That has no bearing on how I evaluate the job that he does.

And I think he's vastly overrated and grossly overpaid. I do. When you go steal somebody else's manager and you pay him $8 million, that's more than anyone in the history of the sport when he signed that deal, then I should see a tactical advantage. Like, wow. That dude has a tactical advantage.

I remember years ago, the late Lou Holtz. Came from Arkansas. He took the Minnesota job. I was going to college up there. And Minnesota was awful.

And he takes the job. And in one year, they're in a bowl game. They're like six and five. We're like, This guy's unbelievable. They just look different.

Then he left and went to Notre Dame. I don't see that with Craig Counsel. I see a guy who's as vanilla. He's sniffling his way through press conferences. I'm like, bro, sign us at sorrymd.com.

They can help you with your allergy problem. I mean, my God. I don't understand the fascination with him. I don't get it. Can they because it's interesting in different sports like what a coach Can provide where he helps or a manager and what he hinders.

Like, I don't think that the Packers, not to bring them up a ninth time, trying to talk baseball, but you know. I don't think the Packers will ever win a Super Bowl with LaFleur because that would mean there's three straight big playoff games, maybe four, that he's got to win. And I don't see it happening. Can, like, can they would have to overcome Council? Have you given up that they can do anything with him as the skipper?

Oh, no, no, no. I think if they got their pitching healthy, like when Matt Boyd comes back, and if you tell me, in spite of him? I don't think he's a bad Tactician. I just think he's as pedestrian and average as they come. I don't think he's bad at his job.

I think he. Knows how to run a game, you know, and in his defense. When you watch the Cubs get two hits last night, Craig didn't take any of those at bats. He didn't.

So that, in my opinion, is not on him. Craig didn't give up a home run to a Buck 30 hitting Edgar Caro to lose to the White Sox on Sunday. Craig didn't give up a home run to Tristan Peters, who's never hit a home run in his freaking life until Sunday. He didn't.

So I don't blame him for some of those moves. I blame him for the general malaise of the freaking club and an unwillingness to. Boy, that guy Moises Biasteros is hitting 075 in the month of May. He had a great April. Guess what?

Send his ass to Iowa. Kevin Alcantara, one of our top prospects, leads. Triple-A in home runs. He's got 15 of them. He can run, he can defend.

He's 23 years old. Bring him up. Give him a shot. Nope. He's going to run the same tired act out there on Friday.

When the uh council moved Or when he moved, when the move happened, doing national radio, as I was able to do for two very short years. I always talked about like. This is a big deal. Craig Council went from the Brewers to the Cubs, and I could just feel the rest of the country not caring. And I'm trying to say, like, if Aaron Boone, who the Yankees probably hate anyway, but like, if the Red Sox and Yankees switch managers, it would blow the sports world's mind.

It would overtake MLB conversation. The Cubs and Brewers rivalry. Certainly is a time-consuming one. It's an effort-consuming one. It's a passionate one around here.

I don't know nationally if they understand quite yet what is happening. Yeah, I don't know if. Aaron Boone is a good comp because I don't think Yankee fans are like, oh my God, they would be like Crazy Legal. Like how we kind of are now two years later. Oh, yeah.

Half Craig. You should have taken him sooner. But if you said, hey, Ben Johnson's contract is up and he's going to the Packers, oh my God. Yeah, our pets' heads would be falling off. I mean, yeah, it would be insanity.

absolute insanity and people would be out of their minds angry. That is the type of, like if you said. Ted The coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Ryan Day isn't as polarizing, but it was, you know, whoever, Urban Meyer. And he said, I'm leaving to take the Michigan job. He'd be like, what?

Yeah. What are you doing? Master Craig Council. Because I remember that day. I thought he was going to Cleveland.

Dude, I dialed you up. You thought he was going to Cleveland, and I think the guy you were with thought he was going to the Mets. And I saw the tweet. I'm sitting here with my partner, Ryan, and I'm like, Ken Rosenthal says, counsel makes decision, dot, dot, dot, dot, cubs. I'm like.

Wait, wait, wait, wait. What? We have a manager, David Ross. And I texted David Ross. And he didn't respond and he always responded.

I'm like, Okay, something's going on. And then I made a call over to Wrigley. Like, yep, nobody knew. The only people that knew were Jed, his GM Carter Hawkins, and Tom Ricketts. None of his staff, his secretary, nobody knew.

It was stealth. Craig drove down from Whitefish Bay, where he lives. Jed lives up in the northern suburbs. He pulled into his driveway. They spent five hours at his house talking philosophy.

They talked money done, deals done in one night. I think I don't like that Craig Is in Whitefish Bay. I don't like that he still shows up at like Marquette women's games. Like, you went to Chicago, dude. You made your choice.

Stay there. He likes living in Wisconsin. It's a great place to live. I have a house in Wisconsin. I'll be there tonight.

I like it, I enjoy it. I also love walking into Jerry's bar and having my Bears or my Cubs gear on. I won't be wearing Cubs this weekend, but I will be wearing Bears gear like I'm wearing right now. And I'm going to walk in and go, hey, do you guys know how the Packers did in the wild card game against the Bears? And they'll throw stuff at me.

If I was at a bar tonight and someone came in and talked about that, yeah, I would be thrown out. I would. I would be thrown out.

So it's good. It sounds like you have friends there. Yeah, it's fun. I enjoy because they could do it to me. I'm the most, what's, I don't know if it's a real word.

I was an English major. I don't believe it is. I'm the most unsensitive person. Like, you can bust me. I come in this studio here, Bart, and all they do is give me a hard time.

That's it. I get shit from them. All the time, and I love it. That's That's what makes doing this fun. I don't have to do this, I do it because I love it.

See, I don't think I have a thick skin. Like people can attack me and really tear me down and dissect my problems and my flaws, and that's fine. I rise above it. But if an anonymous Cubs fan account tweets cry more bro clown emoji at me. I have a meltdown publicly.

Yeah, so somebody, I have four sons. My youngest son is special needs, he's on the autistic spectrum. And he loves the Cubs, the Bears. Like, the Cubs by far number one. And if they lose, he's out of his mind, angry.

He's 32, but this was probably, Twitter started in 09. This is probably like 2015. I had just gotten to ESPN Chicago. And I'm polarizing. I get it.

I love it. I don't care if you come at me on Twitter, but I was different 10, 12 years ago. And this guy writes me, and not only does he blast me and tell me how worthless I am, he takes a shot at my special needs son. And okay, now you've crossed the line. And so I grab my phone.

I'd had a couple drinks and I'm like out loud saying what I'm texting. And my wife walks over and she let me see that. And she looks, she goes, You can't hit send on that. I'm like. Bullshit.

I am. You see what this guy wrote about our son? And she's like. Can you click on his profile, please? He had four followers, and she goes, Why do you need validation from someone you would never take advice from?

Why? Why does that bother you? That idiot wants your job. He's got four followers. You have 140,000.

And you're going to risk your house, your truck you like driving. Everything you've got going. Are you out of your mind? And I'm like, You're right. I deleted it and she said, here's what I want you to write back to him.

Hey, Bart, thanks so much, man. Really appreciate you following, and I really appreciate your support. Have a great night. Hashtag Take that. And that's.

Take that back there. That's become my signature for the last dozen years. That's how it started? That's how it started. And she said.

He's back there now looking at what you tweeted at him, and he's mad that he didn't get to you. And I don't block people. I mean, if you say something about my deceased mother, I probably would block you, but. I do not block people. I took a seminar on Twitter, and the person giving the seminar said: if you block them, they know they got to you.

So, mute them. Then they can chirp all they want, and you never see it. And so, I'll use the mute button occasionally, but I'll debate sports with you. I should have talked to you about this 10 years ago. I'll do whatever you want, just.

I try not to make it personal. I should have talked to you about that advice 10 years ago. It's pretty sound advice. There you go. It's from my wife, Mindy.

Are they coming back on the Brewers this year or not? I mean, it's a game and a half, but like long term. Are we getting pitching? But is it it seems like The health of the staff is where you're going to like. They can do that.

They're going to hit. It's 54 degrees here. It's freaking. freezing cold. But in the next two, three weeks, it's going to be in the 80s.

The wind's gonna start to change instead of howling in like the ball. Who was our number two hitter last day? Was it Bregman? I think it was Bregman. He hit the ball that Nico Horner got thrown out on the challenge.

That ball is on the street. It lost like 60 feet of distance to the wind. There's some account that tells you what they lost. That ball's way out, and it's 2-0 comes, and everyone feels good. That stuff will change.

But Matthew Boyd's not back for at least three more weeks. Cade Horton's out till probably 2028 or September of 27. Justin Steele's out till least after the all-star break. I have no idea what he's going to be like.

So Edward Cabrera left with a blister last night. They're going to have to go out and trade for a minimum. Minimum. of two Solid starters.

Well, how do you get that done? Nobody's trading you a starter on May 21st unless you grossly overpay.

So they're in a tough spot right now.

Well, with your baseball team, bad luck the rest of the season. But I do appreciate your hustling, man. And you found some time for us today, and I appreciate that, Cab. Martin, I've always been a fan of yours, man. I have.

I followed you before you ever had engaged with me. I like people that have. A spine. They have an opinion. We fought like nine years ago.

What was that even about? I can't remember. Not your son. I would never. No, we were Again, as long as it doesn't get personal, like Craig Council's not a bad human.

I just think he's. Back. Just don't ever make it personal. You'll be fine. You're good at what you do.

Cap, appreciate it. Thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse. You got it. Have a great one. By the way, those Packer bloggers that melt down, I saved it on my phone.

I'll be driving tonight to Wisconsin. My wife's going to drive. I will watch that literally four or five times a week. You guys got to just let Bukowski be Bukowski. Oh, Peter Bukowski is an idiot.

I said, he's out of his mind. Corey Bankie and those guys. Corey hates me. Pete, I'm good with. All those guys.

That's the greatest way sometimes on a weekend morning. It's 6 a.m. I'm already up. I'm like, I got to watch these Packer guys melt down again. It's the greatest.

Yeah, we're emotional. We suck. Have a great rest of your day, bud. You too, Cap. Thanks, buddy.

Today we send you off into the Memorial Day weekend. A couple of other things just to mention. Whilst We are here and we'll come back on Tuesday. Maybe I'll jump in at some point, but Um, Carlos does get the week off. And then we will go with the mm-hmm.

On Tuesday, a couple things I do want to mention: Aaron Rodgers is back. There are images, there are pictures, him and Mike McCarthy. I can't get enough of it. I heard Rogers talking about their meeting together and he's looking around and he felt like he was a rookie again back in 2006. He also says this is his final year.

Which he once seemed to insinuate that he would never. Have a Retirement tour. I he was asked the question.

So, I'm not going to blame Rogers for this one. Do we want him to be like, oh, I don't know, and be wishy-washy again? Because then we would criticize him for that. Um, he did say this is it. I had somebody message me.

On Twitter, maybe.

Well, he didn't say I will retire. He just said, This is it. You know how Rogers is with words. I can't foresee him playing longer than this year. Not, maybe he would like to.

But his body can't do this much longer. I think that's clear. He can't really run or move. He can still throw. He'll be able to be 75 and pick up a ball and throw it 75 miles an hour.

I don't think he's going to lose that. For a long time, but it's everything else. I'm rooting for him. And I'm rooting for Mike McCarthy, and I can't wait to see Pittsburgh matched up.

Some lament the fact that they're not. in Green Bay. They don't play Green Bay this year. Rodgers never got a chance to come play in Green Bay as the member of the other team. Of course, McCarthy did as the coach of the Cowboys.

That would I think that's why I'm able to enjoy this, is because there shall be no intersecting. of the two. And if LaFleur and the Packers got into the Super Bowl against Rodgers and the Steelers and Mike McCarthy. I mean, that would be a big narrative day for me. That would be a tough one.

Ultimately, of course. Would have worked rude for the Steel, the Packers, for my Jordan love. But see, my Jordan love is good. And I want Adam Schein to finally admit it. Though th I would rather Jordan love If Matt LaFleur has to be good at the expense.

Of Jordan love being good, like vice versa, then I can handle it. I would rather have Jordan Love win a Super Bowl. than not win a Super Bowl because we have Matt LaFleur. My narratives will not last.

Okay, a hundred years from now, Bart Winkler's narratives will not last. Bill Simmons narratives that he took from me, allegedly, by me. Might. But The title will matter. The titles are what matters.

You can have good seasons without winning a championship. We've had that debate. But when you close your eyes for the final time. You'll cycle your sports teams. You'll cycle your memories?

Of your loves and your family and your children. and your great accomplishments. And what will cycle in there is the Boxing Game Six. or the Packers in 2010. Nothing else is going to cycle in there.

Will I think of the brewers? I may. I may think about our 2026 tailgate that. I still need to find a date for. And I'm putting public pressure on myself by saying it out loud.

So I want to see them do well. I do think he's retired. I don't. He says he's not going to go anywhere. Him and his wife.

Are it just going to disappear? You've already accomplished 50% of that. As per not having a real wife. I did almost get duped by that. There was an AI picture.

of him with a very crunchy young woman. That I did almost get duped by. Almost get duped, mean I did get duped, but I didn't. I caught myself before I posted about it. Because God knows something happens without me fucking giving my feedback on it.

Who do I think I am? Carlos plays voicemail line. 402-915-2278-402-915-BART. This is David in Buffalo. I believe we're talking some.

Hockey and golf. David in Buffalo. Mark, what's up? This is David from Buffalo. Been a few weeks since I called in.

Got a few takes here, got to get to. You know, first off, man, great season for the Sabres. I mean, let's be honest, man. Yeah. That Sabers team, nobody had them going that far.

What a finish to their season at Game 7 was incredible. They really should have beaten Montreal that night.

Now they got to go out and invest in a goaltender. But what a season they had!

So much credit. to Lindy Rust and the organization for turning things around. I'm excited about the future. I don't think they re signed Alex Tuck. It was a great season, man.

PJ Championship was exciting. How about Aaron Rye getting it done? What a final round he had on Sunday, man. That was incredible to watch him. All the whiny Smarty country club big time golf fans are saying, Oh, Aaron Rye's got a big name who couldn't win, who won.

Who gives a man at the end of the day? He beat all those guys on Sunday, beat Rory, he beat Rob, he beat, you know, Ludbig, he beat all these guys. was supposed to win and he held up on a really tough track. End of story. Ron, you know, couldn't get it done on Sunday when he needed to.

Rory couldn't get it done. You know, all these other guys that had a chance. Had their chance Shepherd couldn't make a putt on the weekend there at Aronimick. Let's put it this way: Aaron Rai got it done. And yeah, I know he's not a huge name.

He's only won one other time on the PJ tour. He's won a few times overseas. Look, the guy played better than all the big names. End of story. Stop whining about it, Spark.

We've got to make a couple predictions here. I think the NBA Finals, we're going to get Wemby against the Knicks. And then I think we're going to get Carolina against Colorado. I mean, my heart, I'd love to see Carolina win. I used to live down there.

I know a couple I met a couple of guys who covered the team with hurricanes. But I just think Colorado's too good, man. That's all I got for you tonight. Uh thanks for the time. I'm out.

I'd love to comment on the NHL part of that. I know nothing about these teams. I barely know anything about the Sabres. But I was locked into game seven. I was locked into that.

I talked about that yesterday. That's the Sabres, West Ham, the Portland Timbers, any team I like that's non- Um Wisconsin is because it's the most Wisconsin version of that team that I could find. And just with the history, and you know, then the Sabres, it was a bummer. That's the furthest I've ever watched a team I like play hockey. They've only made the playoffs three times since we started, and this was the first time since the first two years since we.

Started liking them back in my North Fond du Lac days. North Fond du Lac is a city. That's actually a village, it's not part of Fondu Lac. I just want to clear that up. North Fonda, like I used to live...

Did you see that car that sped down the interstate and then flew over another car on an off-ramp? That was the exit I turned off of. My buddy lives over there and he sent me a video. I was like, what is this? She's like, oh, it's crazy.

I was like, okay, I just saw a guy running in a field. And then later I saw the other vantage point. Connected, that was the same thing. That was intense. How nobody died.

He was down in the little crevice thing and he Could you imagine just driving a car flies over you?

Someday. Shall we be so lucky with flying cars? instead of uh metal death traps that can turn off I haven't really gotten to the AI stuff for a while. Don't think I'm not noticing. St I'm still on that.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend. Brewers have a series against the Dodgers. Maybe I'll see you at the ballpark, because maybe you'll be there and maybe I will. Sunday, Sunday's going to be a big day. I got to make sure West Ham doesn't get.

Relegated. Memorial Day. Always a good weekend.

So enjoy yourself. Great weekend to catch up on all the old bar content, to hype videos, whatever the frick that means. Like and subscribe, blah, blah, blah, blah. Bobby, I'm working on a newsletter. Yeah.
