Welcome into the Winklerverse. I am Bart Winkler, little Sunday night, Bart, a little SNB. We will have the national perspective show with Carlos on Monday at noon as we do on Tuesday, and then some other shenanigans as the week goes on. But there's a lot to talk about before. The week starts to kind of wrap up.

from a local. Perspective. I haven't done a local show in a long time. That's an inside joke. Only I heard it.

Only I know what that means. Let's build.

So I want to talk about the brewers. And I want to talk about the Bucs. First thing we're going to talk about is the Bucs.

Now, the NBA draft lottery, historically, for many of us, has been something that we watched. Through other people's eyes, at least in the last decade, which is, you know, we haven't felt what the draft lottery experience. Has been like for a long while. And that's good. Uh it is exciting.

Being at 2 o'clock on Mother's Day is weird. But I did get the room. To watch at the Mother's Day celebration, I did get the room. To watch, um The draft lottery.

Now, there were heckles from the other crowd, but I did get it on the TV: like, this is boring. What are you watching? It is hard to explain why I must watch this at two in the afternoon. on a Mother's Day weekend. No matter where you are.

uh even if your mother's part of senior g Still, it's Mother's Day. I mean, I'm sitting in my basement. My wife's outside watching my kid.

Sorry, honey. But, you know, Mother's Day. The day part of the day is over. It's evening now. Night.

And when every day in this house is Mother's Day? I'm afforded the chance to come be a basement boy for just a little bit.

So the Bucks get the 10. The odds for the majority of the ma For them. We're to get the 10, probably around 70% in that range. Number 11. was the second most likely spot.

I just didn't want. Them to be lower. I think now that it's done and they got the 10, which was the pick that they were most likely to get, I think we're all satisfied that, okay, at least it wasn't. lower You know, that nervous Nervous moments at first. Because you don't know when the Bucs.

The logo is going to show up. 14, 13, 12, 11, we don't want that. 14's going to go to the Hornets. They were likely to get 14. 13 is going to go to the heat.

They were likely to get 13. The thunder Getting 12. A lot of people worried. That The Thunder would somehow wind up in the top four again. which really would have been bad.

You know, we've seen dynasties. come and go in the NBA. And I don't think people enjoyed watching the Warriors and Cavs four years in a row. I think at a certain part, you know, Jordan was great, but okay, the Bulls Again, you just the dynasty thing, the heat. You know, the Heatles or whatever.

It does get a little taxing at times, but never has there been a team like the Thunder, a team where even as the dynasty was starting. If that's what this turns out to be, it's been so hated. And I don't know what's going to happen. I mean, the Lakers aren't going to come back and. You know, the Spurs, they're With the Timberwolves right now.

Also keeping an eye on the Sabres. Talk about that on the national perspective. A little hockey. West Ham choked today. They had a zero.

So a lot of my other teams not doing so well. My kid said, Why do we have to like West Ham? They suck. I go, I know, but the Bucks suck too, and we don't change them. And he goes, Yeah, it's different.

And he's right. Um So we'll see what's going to happen with the rest of the playoffs. The Knicks, a lot of Knicks fans, very excited. As they've just been rolling through the first couple of rounds. Of the postseason, and they will probably, I mean.

Cavs Pistons winner. I mean the Knicks are going to the NBA Finals. If they don't If they blow it this year, it was bad enough when you blew it to the Pacers. If you blow it this year, Oh. But I think they'll so Nick's thunder.

Is Nick's Thunder the finals that we're going to be in for? And then does this Knicks fan base? Have to then have us join. I don't You know, the big city, small city, all that kind of discussion with sports. The Knicks should be the underdog team, but there's nothing underdog about them.

They're New York City, huge fan base. They took over Philadelphia, one of the premier sports cities. In our nation, they took it over like the both games, of course, today, but both games.

So maybe, maybe the Pistons. Um you know, maybe the pistons They played. The Knicks earlier this year. I don't really know. How much that matters.

When it's a long season like this, in football, it might matter a little bit. He played a division rival twice, and you got to play him again.

Some of these games are so earlier.

Some of these games. Or whatever. Ben, yeah, if the Knicks beat the Thunder, we will never hear the end of Dynasty Killers. Which, you know, we'll see. But it's like even when the chiefs started to become a dynasty, we knew it was going to happen.

They they we didn't turn on them until a little later. The thunder Everybody already hates.

So I bring that up because of the elation that the Thunder stayed at 12. Warriors stayed at 11. Bucks stay at 10. And we'll get into that. Mavs were supposed to get eight.

They got nine, which means the bulls skyrocket up. The Kings got screwed. The Grizzlies skyrocket up. And then no team. Is gonna get laughed at more than the pacers.

So the top order, I'll go from one to 14 quick. Wizards get the one. All these years of sucking, it finally pays off. Jazz bounced from four to two. Grizzlies get the three.

Bulls get the four.

So a lot of Closet Bulls fans are back today. Clippers are five. Pacers are supposed to get this pick in the top four.

Sorry. Nets are six. They fell from three. Kings seven, Hawks eight, Mavs are nine, and then of course. Our Bucks are 10, followed by the Warriors Thunderheat.

And hornets.

So for the Bucs, it's like, okay. 10, we'll see what we do. Do you trust Tortz with this pick? What does this mean for Giannis? We could talk about that stuff.

But my main takeaway is, again, because this is where I'm at. At nearly 42 years of age. Already ready to celebrate my 43rd birthday. Where I'm at is I take more delight in my rival's pain than I do in my joy. And so for the Pacers.

To have thought that they were gonna get, and this is the bogus thing with NBA trades here. It was no, they don't have a they don't have a top 14 pick at all. With how the Protections go. They were protected in the top, but they weren't protected in the rest of the fourth round. Or the first round.

So they do not have a pick. They're not going to have a pick. In the top 14, which this whole gap year and Halliburton hurt.

So I do take more joy. Uh in that than I would And the alternative Bucks. I'm just glad that they didn't fall further than 10. I think a lot of us are. And now it's going to be time to dig deep, see what these prospects are going to be, see what we're going to do in what scenario.

Happy place, hemp promo code is. Bart. Does Giannis have another brother we can draft? I think their older brother. Never entered the draft or declared, so possibly.

I thought I was going to get you on your front stoop. I saw you down there. That looked like to be a good alternative, but the red room's just as well.

Well, it was a little windy. It was a little chilly. And then I had to call in. I got called into dad duty for. a couple seconds so Yeah.

So, what's worse, hosting a podcast on Mother's Day or joining one? Oh boy. I mean, at least you can spin it as like, well, you know, I'm trying to get this thing going. Like, I have no fucking excuse. Oh, sure.

You're you're you're a founding member of the Winklerverse, Jake. Yeah, there's there's bigger things at play here.

So what are we thinking? I mean, I'm I guess I'm not happy with the results, but I'm also not upset. Um I know I texted you earlier. I was elated that that happened in Indiana. You talk about a horrendous.

trade that they made because You got to think about when they made that trade this year, they were already well into this tanking thing. Like the plan was in action, and then they got greedy. They think, what. We can get this guy, we'll put some protection on the pick, and then, like, you know, basically kick the can down the road on what we have to give up.

So, like, to give all of that up for.

Someone who's just barely above just a guy in Ivicha Zubach. Yeah, that's hilarious. And you know, it's bad because the Pacers GM has already made a statement basically apologizing for the trade. It's brilliant.

Well, he basically said luck wasn't on our side today. Um Yeah, the trade, this was the trade that set this up. They got Ivakis Zubach and Kobe Brown. They traded Benedict Matherin, Isaiah Jackson. A 2026 first round pick.

Did they also trade the 2029? Correct. And then a 2028, 20 second-round pick. The 2026 pick was top four protected.

So if it landed in the top four, the Pacers would have the pick. The Clippers had about a 25% chance of having this conveyed to them. But I mean, to see it happen is actually. Uh insane.

So Yeah, I think they're the fact that all these teams that tanked. And they're Their method was so celebrated. because Tyrese Halliburton was hurt and not coming back. You look at these teams last year that we could consider a gap year. Oh, what are the Bucks going to do?

They were going to have Dame out. They stretched that instead and got Miles Turner, which then did force. The Pacers to go ahead and make this deal.

So good job, I guess. Rewarded for bad behavior. Then you had the Celtics who ended up getting Tatum back and then bounced. Pacers, none of these teams really got rewarded for the different strategies. The Bucks tried to do something different.

didn't work. The Celtics tried to have their star come back. Didn't work. And then the. Pacers tried to just say, look, we're going to suck and get a pick, and that didn't work either.

Yeah, well, and I think I saw some Bucks fans were kind of lamenting the fact that, like, oh man. The Bucks were like one game out of the ninth slot in the draft, and that's the pick that moved up. And it's like, you don't have to worry about that because that would have just gone to Atlanta anyway.

So. I think I would have been more upset if the Bucks... Did move up, but ultimately it went to Atlanta in the first place.

So, but the other, I think, Bucks-related story coming out of this lotto is when you look at the top four teams that moved up into the lotto, and I think for the most part, people consider this a four-player. like elites prospect type draft. None of them are really going to be a Giannis trade target or a team that's going to target Giannis in a trade. You know, there was speculation if Golden State moves up, if Miami moves up, Giannis is as good as gone. That's where he's going.

He's not getting traded to Memphis. He's not getting traded to Utah. He's not getting traded to Washington or Chicago.

So, if you're a guy that wanted to keep Giannis around, Um, and hope that you know that they don't pull the trigger on something like that. You're probably pretty satisfied with those results. But I did find it interesting that, yeah, really, none of the top four really. Um you could consider Yana's destinations. Yeah, he could get traded to what the Warriors didn't get a high pick.

He could get traded to. Who else? The Heat? They didn't get a high pick. The Thunder.

He didn't get a high pick. Yeah, I thought the Thunder maybe they would do it just for the hell of it if they moved up, you know, like because they wouldn't really have to give them up much of their core.

So do you think after today? We're more likely or or less likely for a Yannis trade. I think we're less likely for a honest trade today. I think, again, depending on who, if one of those teams that we just talked about moved into the top four, the speculation would have been immediate. And then the other thing is, I think if, let's say, the miracle situation happened and both Atlanta and us moved up, and we had a top four pick.

Um I think That actually probably increases the chances of a Giannis trade because probably you're going to go, okay, let's get all the young assets to build around this top five pick and kind of go on. Like the timing would have just been right. But I don't know. I've been back and forth on whether or not they should trade Giannis. Um, I really would, I guess, I'm at the point now where I'd rather keep them around and just see if you can make it work.

So now it's like: do they keep this pick? Do they trade it in part of a bigger deal to try to keep Giannis happy? I don't know. If they do keep it, I know I'm pretty locked in on Leneborg from Michigan. I think he's going to be highly sought after, though.

I don't know if he's going to make it to them.

Well, I'm giving you no insight on who they're going to draft today. I will. I'm interested, so I will. Do my due diligence. Yes.

But I have not that information for you today. I do have the breaking sports news: Victor Webanyama was ejected from this game tonight. He had a ball he was trying to, and he just. Took an elbow to Nasreed's face.

So There's something to talk about. Ben L is with us. What's up, guys? Happy Mother's Day to prospective mothers.

Well, I am mother around here. Mother part. What did you think about today's result? to be expected. Unfortunate, I think.

You know, had our hopes up for a higher pick, but That's what happens. I don't know who we're going to get at 10, but I still think Giannis will get traded. For a higher pick or two.

Well though though if you take the Haslam comments Where he pretty much Like we put a timetable on it and Now we got to deal with him. And if you take Haslam. on the whole i think he I think he might entertain the big swing. He doesn't have the connection to Giannis that the rest of the team has. And then, if you take what else is going on with the Bucs.

ownership where apparently Wesley Edens was blackmailed after a sexy fling with a divorcee who demanded half his fortune. Did we see this news today?

So I don't know why it's like breaking now, but. Also, I believe Eden's was divorced during that time, so I'm wondering why it's a story. Apparently, she tried to blackmail him. Uh had sex tape videos. Oh, I'm waiting for the league, baby.

Um would you watch a Wes Eden sex tape? No. Of course. The answer to that question is yes. I don't care who you put in.

Yeah, I've voluntarily looked at Brett Farre's penis. Like, it's you're going to do it out of morbid curiosity. You're a better man than me. If there was a Bart Winkler sex tape. No.

Nah, since I know you personally. Are you not curious about how I work? Bart, I want to keep watching your show, so let's just quit while we're ahead. You're not curious about when. During the act, the tears start to come.

If it's a before. During or after situation. I'll have a smoke with you, but that's about it after it's all said and done. Uh Eden's did pay her, by the way. He paid her $6.5 million.

She wants 1.2 billion. My God. He says he paid the brick went up. Good lord. Um Yeah.

The the other thing is Yannis this last week I talk about Giannis, and people are asked: I thought his family's in Greece. I have no idea. But I I know they were at a Tom's Drive in in Appleton. And I know from people taking pictures, and then the guy said, I'm not bothering Yannis. And Yannis said, Thank you.

I know. I can see my kid through the window. I know. that they're around. Are they around as a show of support to Milwaukee?

Are they crossing off the bucket list? before they're kicked out of here. It does feel a little calculated, doesn't it? I don't think if you live in Milwaukee, there's plenty of places to get ice cream. You don't need to go up 41 for an hour and a half to a fucking Tom's drive-in.

But Maybe they went up to Green Bay and rode the Zippin' Pippin. Maybe they went up to Green Bay and went to the Railroad Museum. Maybe they went to Appleton to go to Cleo's. I don't know. Well, I don't know.

I thought I remember hearing that roughly less than halfway through the season, they did come back from Greece.

So I don't know. how much validity there was to that story in the first place. Maybe you wanted to hang out with my in-laws. I was up in Appleton just hours ago, mere hours ago. I got some beef sticks from Appleton.

They're pretty good. I got this pizza called Stuck's Pizza. Stocks S U S T U C Okay. It's one of those overbears the pizza in a good way. Toppings?

We went four pizzas for a group: cheese on one, pep on one, sauce on one, and then the special on the other. It's a good way to go. You gotta try all of them. It's like you don't put salt on your food until you try it. You got to try the original.

You got to get the vanilla. You got to get the chocolate. I agree. Good strategy. But you I'm glad you got a supreme.

Why'd you shake your head at my pizza game? No, I'm just Bard, you're a well-known celebrity. If I were in your shoes, I would not be talking about pizza in this day and age. I don't want that on camera out there for the world to hear. What happens?

Oh boy. We had legitimate pizza.

Okay. Oh, we had real pizza. Yeah. Uh-huh. That's what they all say.

Because I'm talking about the pizza. That's how you know it's pizza. If I emailed you guys separately. Wow, had a yummy pizza today. Yeah.

Then you're then yeah. Just like LOL emojis and stuff. Like, yeah. Wink wink. Gee, um, no, back to Giannis, if I can for a moment, I guess we can get off that subject.

Um, I do think the earliest, if the Bucks do trade him, I think the earliest that you would see him get traded would be.

However long it is. From when he signs on that extension.

So he's going to sign the extension in October. He's not going to turn down $100 million or whatever it is or take the risk of. But that again, and this is the podcast they did with Eric Name a few weeks ago. We have to factor in like We assume the Bucs don't want to trade him. But I don't think we should assume that.

Who are players in the league you would want to target? Like who would you want to come to the whoever it's gonna be is gonna be underwhelming So is anybody in this draft? Um The Wizards. We're not trading him to the Wizards. No.

We're not training him to the jazz. Uh And he's going to have because he's got to sign the extension, so he'll have somewhat of a say. He ain't going to Memphis.

So do we trade him to Chicago? Oh god, no. I had a text conversation today with a friend. Who was saying, like, oh, maybe Chicago, you know, the they would. I said, Can you imagine for a moment, if you will.

The Bucks trade Giannis to Chicago. The games at Fiser Forum with Chicago fans driving up, I would end up in jail. I would not be able to go to those games. You wouldn't be able to go to the games. It should be if Giannis was a bull.

Whenever they played at Pfizer, they should block that shit off like the RNC is back here, okay? And just let them have their little fucking. Space like have that Chicago embassy up here because nobody needs to be down there for that. Yeah, they're not trading to be Chicago. That's, I know that they're not like a classic huge rivalry for us, but given that they're there, are Clippers are interesting, but I don't know who six.

Clippers can't make it work financially as far as what we'd have to take back. Because they're not going to trade as Kawhi, right? Because they would want to pair those two together and they just don't have the cap space. No, you're right, they're overextended. You don't want dotted for Derek Jones?

Yeah. Totally. And Brooke Lopez. I want Maxi. I I would love I don't think it's possible, but if we could somehow get Tyrese Maxi to the Bucks, I think that would be a player to build around.

I think I I would think on like a Bill Simmons trade value chart, wouldn't Maxi be higher than Giannis right now? You think so? With youth? No. I don't know.

I think it's still viable. No, I think what's happened is the ESPNs, the Giannis is also like, if I'm training for Giannis. I'm like. Bro, what's up with that fucking knee? What w what's going on with your legs?

Sure, but He also, I mean. His injuries this past year, you know, take that for what it's worth, but. He's a top two or three player in the world. Maxi will never have a season as good as Giannis'. fifth sixth best season like And I guess it all depends on the team that's making the trade, too.

But I think Bucks fans have been beaten into submission as far as what Giannis' value will be because they've been watching too much of the national media outlets of guys who don't know shit that are trying to actively tank his value by saying shit.

So here's a question. I got a question. I got a question for you guys. And this, I think, would be a great question. For this week and even for other radio stations, please, I want my content to be, I want the Winklerverse to be a hub.

I'm equal awkward. I promoted a question William Tausch did the other day. Look at me, I'm such a nice guy. That's a good question. It's a great question.

Okay. This question. What do you as a Bucs fan? Care about more. The return for Giannis?

Or the destination for Giannis. Because I'm willing to lower the return. Pretty substantially. As long as he Doesn't go anywhere that's on my no trade clause list. No, Miami.

No Chicago. No Nicks. No. Boston? No warriors.

Warriors, teams he's probably more likely to want to go to. than these other teams like I don't know, just name any of Portland, Minnesota, Dallas. What are some Eastern teams? Even the Sixers would not bother me as much as those other teams. Um So for me.

I also don't want to trade him. That's the other thing. I don't want to trade him. I don't think there's a magic bullet here. I don't think there's a perfect package where the Bucs win in the next five years.

Like, I don't think we can shea Gilgis this.

Okay. Alexander. I don't think we can get. Trade a guy and Paul George, and then we get this package. I don't think we can do that.

I don't have that faith. We may be able to, I can't see the future. But I don't want them traded. And so. I'm more interested in where he doesn't go because, again, here we are on a day with the draft lottery, and I am.

Really nonchalant about anything Bucks related because of how over the moon I am that the Pacers didn't get a pick. That is fully me now. I am fully 42-year-old, almost, man. Who would rather see pain upon thy enemies than joy for my home? Yeah.

And then You know, there's a lot of speculation about. Giannis can veto any trade because he's only going to sign an extension. And that's where I'm just going to go ahead and call bullshit. I mean, if there's one thing that I would lay. more money on than anything else when it comes to Giannis is that He's not passing on a supermax extension.

Okay, so he can crow all he wants to about. I would not sign an extension with this team. I just think the guy's full of shit. Of course, he's going to try to go where he wants to go, but ultimately, you take the best offer for your franchise. The good thing is, like, the places that you do not want to trade him, they don't have what it takes to get him in a package.

The other thing to think about is Okay OKC is like It's perfect that they're in the position that they're in because They have an insane amount of picks.

So, if the bucks are getting dicked around as far as what they're going to get back in these offers, OKC at the last second could just be like, hey, Here's some salary and every pick you want, and they can essentially lock the league up for the next five years if the Bucks are getting dicked around on offers.

So it's great to have them sitting in the wings. Not to mention, you have other people like San Antonio, for instance. They have a ton of assets still, a lot of great young players. Let's say they come up short this year. All it takes is a few teams to start the bidding war to get going.

And again, you know, those are two examples right there where that could be a case of, well, if OKC's going after him, we can't let them have him.

So we're going to up our offer and it's just going to keep escalating. Still, personally, I don't want him to go. I think I'd rather try to figure this out, see what it's or what a team led by Taylor Jenkins looks like and go from there. I'm going to add Mark on to the Dan Shaney YouTube stream. It's going to be awesome.

Um I mean, I don't know if you can assign an extension come October. I just don't know. Jake, you don't know what you want or what?

So I don't think I don't know if he's gonna decide it or not. Like, he's got enough money anyways. Yeah, he does it. I don't think it's about the money. He is, but you are going to, even if you have a bunch of money.

If you can get like five for 280 or four for you know less you're gonna you're gonna do the one to take more I think if he if he were to go to Boston, I would want three first-round picks in the middle. I'm sorry, Mark, you first. Marketing.

Well oh sorry. Do you think he uh goes to Portland? Speaking of picks pack. Portland would be interesting to be with Dame and Drew if they don't send those guys over. Uh Ben, what what were you thinking?

I would want three first round picks. for him not to go to One of those, you know, teams of of interest or disinterest If he goes to Portland and he wins with Damon Drew, I'll be crushed as just a basketball fan in general. You wouldn't feel like it, I mean, maybe there's not as. Far as much time. in between but like If Rogers signs with Pittsburgh.

To team up with McCarthy, I'm all in on that. I'm rooting for that. I want them to be good.

Okay. Jake says who disappeared. Jake says three first-round picks is a given with any deal.

Well, that's good news. That's good news. And then, so now they're going to have to figure out. Because this this I don't know what the butterfly effect or the sliding doors thing about today was because it wasn't just the Bucs pick that's going to matter. They're still at 10.

Would they be more likely if they were back or higher if they were a top four pick? Suddenly, is it more or less likely? I don't know if these other teams, again, that are picking eleven through fourteen, is it more likely? But for sure today, And this draft lottery. Is going to have an impact on what happens.

We just don't know. yet how that's going to play out and we'll never know.

some of the other alternatives Have a good uh evening, guys. I'm gonna step out. All right. Anything else from you, Mark, before I pivot to the A? Ah, Brewers.

You're good too? All right. Good to always see you, Mark. That's Mark. Mark pops in a lot on Sunday nights.

The Sunday night ones. Seem to do good. We get people in. I should put out like on Twitter, I'll put out like, guys. Wait for this one.

Instead of putting out the VAT signal. I'll put out the Winkler signal. Barge sigma.

So we'll talk more about this this week. I know that Paul will be chomping at the pit the bit. I am going to enlighten you a little bit on the conversation that Paul Grant and I had. Earlier today. Uh Yeah.

He said, uh Grant said, How can any Bucs fan feel optimistic knowing John Horst is making the pick? And I'm sharing this because it's in line with things. We've set on here anyway. Paul said, Horst is actually very good at finding diamonds in the rough. but bad at identifying top prospects.

Grant said who? Paul said Sam Merrill, A.J. Green and Ryan Rollins. And then I put up the meme of three dumb dragons. I'm not.

And that's the other thing. The 10 pick. And I'm going to do research. I have the time. I'm going to do the research.

We'll have a draft night show. When is that? June? June twenty third.

Okay, draft night show right here. Should we go live? That's going to be my goal. By June 23rd. I'm going to have a sexier setup.

I'm going to have like Matt Ramage, my boy Matt. He's got a nice setup when he goes live. He's got graphics and shit, another little dude in the corner. I got a month and a half. We'll have a nice setup.

And we'll have fun. At the draft. George was traded for Shea. First round picks at 21, 2, 3, 24, the WABA salary filler got to be in that neighborhood. I hope.

I hope Jake thinks Haslam might go the Tennessee route. I I don't know. I don't know. That's another thing. How much involvement is Jimmy Haslam having on this pick?

And is Jimmy Haslam? Are there things? Is it going to be like alum or money, or how many jerseys can we sell? Does he care? Does he actually somehow maybe know basketball?

I don't like him just strolling in. To the Art Museum either. I'm being like, oh, Milwaukee. I'm going to, yeah. If you're going to own a team, if I'm just going to own a team in.

Milwaukee. At some point, I would come to the town and live there for a week like a tourist. And then know what the hell is going on. Maybe I'm a big, fat, rich guy. I can be like, hey, give me elite tickets.

I'll just probably walk around the town. I want to know about the town we're living in. Because now we got all this stuff going on. We don't have the, we have a different attachment to Giannis than he does. Giannis is like one of us.

Giannis is ours. He's our representative. domestically Nationally, internationally. Giannis is just a number on a spreadsheet. To Haslam.

What does Jimmy Haslam want? What does Jimmy Haslam want? Giannis Jersey's already on discount different places. Who's still buying a Giannis jersey in year 13? Maybe if you have a kid.

Giannis jersey. Or do you really like a An alternative one. But I got a Giannis jersey. I got it eight years ago. I wore it for the NBA Finals.

That was it. Nobody's buying Giannis jerseys anymore. Unless he changes his number like Kobe. That could be a different solution, I guess. I don't know.

I don't know. I don't know. Tonight, it's an exploratory night. A lot of I don't know's, a lot of questions we need to talk about, and a lot of factors. There's a lot more factors than How do the bucks get better that will go into a Giannis potential trade or not?

There's a lot more factors. That are going to go into that.

So we will find out. We'll talk more about that. Uh, this week. Big thanks to our sponsor, BetterHelp, for partnering with us for this important conversation about mental health. This is Steve Smith here, former NFL wide receiver and host of the 89 Show on YouTube.

Now, I tweeted that I was rooting against them on Friday. I'm not rooting against the 26 people on that team. I'm not rooting against Miz. Who, I mean, that was an incredible start.

So last year against the Yankees, it was a torpedo bats. This year it's Miz throwing like. 10 of the Twenty, uh Oh, geez, yeah, Bruce, that Wisco Bucks Giannis jersey is waiting to drop. I was so mad on Friday. I was so mad on Friday.

Because of Cece Sabbathia. Quick aside on this. And I'll talk more about this probably with Carlos. Cece Sabathia. was put on the wall of honor.

His number wasn't retired. It's a stupid thing. It's not stupid, but it's a dumb thing. It's not dumb. But the thing the brewers do.

Every team's got their little section. And they all celebrate people that are important to them. And if you're in Milwaukee or a Brewers fan in Wisconsin, You know how important CeCe Sabathy is to this team. He, on a contract year, willed this team into the playoffs. I'm doing Dan Housing to my kid.

He willed them to the playoffs for the first time in 26 years. 24 years, of course. And he's pitching on three, four days' rest, of course. We need to acknowledge him in some way. You can't tell the story of the Brewers without Cece Sabathia.

You can't. And it was only three months. But remember, they traded for him like three weeks before the trade deadline to get those extra starts, and they needed every single one of them. Yeah, he didn't have a cy Young performance in the postseason, but he got us there. He drove us there.

Not a word.

So, yes, if we're going to make a plaque and put Cece's head on it to be on the bricks outside the entrance that few people even go into. Last game I went to, I was coming from the bridge. huge line and then you just go around and they're like, I was like, are you guys even open? The whole It's like 25 steps. That's a weird little pocket entrance there on the left side when you come in.

So, yeah, CC means a lot. And then for some reason. Reds fans, Cubs fans, Pirates fans, everyone's shitting on the Brewers. Oh, look what you're doing. First of all, the Brewers, there's an obsession about shit the Brewers do from the rest of the league.

I don't get it. because they're plucky because they win with no names 'Cause they make the plaster. They don't do jack shit. Let us have our dumb little things. Which aren't even dumb.

But at the Brewers, that name's coming out of a lot of other teams' mouths, and I don't understand why. I don't understand why. Does bother me, of course. And then They had him in the Wisco jersey pregame.

Now I know it's his old teammate Gary Sanchez, but there's a lot of other Gary Sanchez jerseys that they make. Finally, we went up to the booth, they had him in the pinstripes, which, what the fuck, man. But Cece should not be out there immortalizing these pictures. in a dumb ass Wisco clipart Jersey. MC05, I never thought the Brewers would matter, but the way everyone worries about us makes me think we're close to being on top.

Well, then they're going to shit on us this week. Oh, by the way. Wade Boggs and Fred McGriff, too, or just Wade Boggs. Wade Boggs has his number retired by the Rays. The Miami Heat have a banner hanging in the rafters for Michael Jordan, who never played with them, and Dan Marino, who obviously didn't either.

There's a lot of other dumb retired numbers. That'll be a little project for me tonight to present to Carlos on Monday. They hate us because they ain't us. But if they were us, they wouldn't want to be us. That's the fucked up thing.

So, Brewers had a really good weekend. They swept the Yankees. First time in a three-game set, you may have seen it since 1989. You had a walk-off yesterday and extras, and then you had a walk-off today. And it was with a pink bat, and it's Bryce Terang.

This one's not going to have the lower. That uh Bill Hull did. We're already on 20 years of that. But 20 years later. Bryce Terang.

Walk off Homer, Brewers win. Four to three. Pretty good outing. From Logan Henderson today. Urabi picks up the win.

And the Brewers now Are sitting at 22 and 16.

So they're all the way back up to second in the NL Central, in which every team has at least 22 wins. Cubs were red hot. Couldn't score the last couple days, really. But that winning streak of theirs has propelled them to the top.

So the Brewers and Cardinals are three and a half back of the Cubs. And the Pirates and Reds are five back of the Cubs, but they're both 22 and 19.

So, this is a really good start to the season for this division. I also Who have we played in the division? Anybody? We played the Cardinals. And the pirates So that's it.

So we are one and one against the Cardinals. We're two and three against the division. There's got to be more games than that. Am I missing games? No, no.

White Sox, Rays, Royals, Red Sox, Nationals, Blue Jays, Marlins, Tigers. Pirates Diamondbacks, Nationals again. The Brewers have played more games against the Nationals so far this season than they have against the NL Central.

So, and then who do we got coming up? Uh Padres, Twins, Cubs. Edale, I won't be able to beat him for that series, but. It would be good to see you again. Um But yeah, we don't play them until Wow, it's pretty crazy.

So the NL Central, they deserve their flowers. But At some point. They will start eating themselves. Hey, Bart, I got to disagree with your hate for the city. Connect Wisconsin Jersey's 10% of the state of Wisconsin residents live in Milwaukee.

Other 90% aren't Milwaukee. The team is trying to be for the full state and capturing the driftless in Northwoods. That's fine. They can do that. If this if the jersey said Wisconsin.

I think I would care a hell of a lot less. Really? I don't, whisko's not a thing. Whisco to me is not a thing. Sconi, it's not a thing.

Uh If it said Wisconsin. If it just said Brewers with the State logo like the Bucks. Yeah, the population stat might not be right, but whatever. Uh the box Are able to incorporate Wisconsin into logos and other stuff. It's just a matter of does the rest of the state of Wisconsin want to be a part of the Bucs?

You know, you don't say the bucks in a thirty-second ad and it's a the controversy more so than like. That's the biggest controversy you're going to have around here. Uh And I think the jerseys are they're hideous. The shoes are not cool either. Just buy blue shoes.

And I don't see why you need to wait in line. What? I'm almost done, yeah. What? You gotta go to bed.

Did mommy say you could? He wants to do another Royal Rumble on 2K26. Oh, mommy just said no. All right. Sounds like my solo Okay.

I'll be done soon. It's bedtime. I'll be right there, bud. I actually don't have a kid. That was just some theater to keep up the bit.

Thank you. I just have two dogs. All right. Yeah, the hats are hideous. And I'm kidding.

I hate the whole thing. I hate the whole thing. He loves Danhausen. This Danhausen thing is not going to last forever, but man, does he fucking love it? All right, so we'll talk more about the Bucs this week.

We'll talk more about the Brewers this week. I'll never get behind the jerseys. Great sweep for Milwaukee. Surprised it didn't sell out a little bit. Surprised every game wasn't sold out.

I thought with the Yankees here. But That's, you know, that's fine. All right, happy Mother's Day. Anyone who's watching, tell your mom thank you, especially if you're married. And you are a part of this tonight.

Give her her flowers. And I'll keep you guys posted on the sex tape. For then, for now, forever. WWE, thanks for stopping into the Winklerverse. I'm coming.

He didn't say anything. I just had to. Tim? And Doug. There's nowhere I wouldn't go to help someone customize and save on car insurance with Liberty Mutual, even if it means sitting front row at a comedy show.
