Greetings friends and new listeners and welcome to this program of the Archie Hardy Ministries. I'm Sharon Knotts, thanking you for joining us today as we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Today's message by my father, Brother Hardy, is from his classic series, New Creation, Sons of God. A hallmark scripture of Christians is 2 Corinthians 5:17. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.
and this new creature is a son of God, or a child of God. You see, the term Son of God in New Testament Scripture is not a gender determiner, but rather a legal position, which Brother Hardy explains, and so much more in this in depth teaching, New Creation Sons of God. You talk about a place of safety. You talk about security. The women will appreciate me more because they're creatures that are just...
motivated and driven from want to be secure. How many say you met? And you talking about a security. Child of God. I mean being in the mighty hand, in the mighty power.
of him that says that I have all power in heaven and earth, you can't have a greater security in all of the universe. Hallelujah. Devil can get to me. Devil can't find me. A lot of times in my preaching I would say, who's afraid of the big belly wolf?
I'm not afraid of the big bed wolf for number one. This is not a fairy tale, this is the truth. Number two, I'm not a little piggy. I'm a child of God. Number three, I'm not in a strong house.
I'm not in a stick house. I'm in the rock of ages that has clipped for me. Hallelujah. And there, in the rock of ages, I am safe. Hammering, safe, safe in the arms, safe in the hand of Jesus.
I am not going to be saved. I'm not in the process of being safe. I am safe. I am not going to be delivered. I am not in the process of being delivered.
I am delivered out of the power, out of the authority of Satan, and translated into the authority of the Lord Jesus.
Now the word power. It's not the word tudemis when we think of power. But this word in the Greek is not dudamus, it's ex sousia. Which means power to rule. I'm out of the ruling power of the devil.
I'm in where Jesus rules. And also this word, he has delivered us, is an Eros tense in the Greek. which means that something has been done in the past and it's completed. It's been completed in the past.
So it means that sometime I or you as a Christian.
sometime in our past. The Lord reached down with his mighty, omnipotent hand. scooped us up out. of the prison house of Satan. Took us all the way out of his dominion.
and placed us in his own kingdom where he is sovereign, where he is Lord, where there's only righteous ones, so I have no fear of anyone going to do any unrighteousness to me. And therefore, that genders peace. And then peace genders joy. And I have the joy knowing I'm safe and protected in the power of the Holy Ghost. This is not going to happen.
This is not in the process of happening. This has happened, period, somewhere in my Christian past. And you know, when that somewhere was the moment I repented of my sins, and the Spirit of God took the precious blood of Jesus and cleansed and washed me from all sin and unrighteousness, and took the word of God and begot me into a new creature, a son of God. Then I was taken out from under the dominion and the power of Satan and translated and transported and put into the kingdom of the dear Son of God. And there I am, protected and hid in his mighty power without any fear of any.
Power violently seizing me from God, and it's hid there for all eternity. And when Christ, who is my light, shall appear, I shall also appear with him in majesty and in glory. Hallelujah! I'm excited. I'm getting excited.
No wonder the songwriter wrote the song. I get so thrilled with Jesus. Alcohol doesn't throw me. Nicotine doesn't thrill me. The lust of the flesh doesn't thrill me.
But Jesus thrills me. Hallelujah. All right. Where I am not, I am not where the devil rules. But I am where Jesus rules.
Let me read to you. From Ephesians 2, 5 and 6. And Paul as talking about what I've been preaching on. Said, even when we were dead in sins, Half quick in of course. You have to go up to the verse ahead to mean, know who hath quickness.
God. has quickened us together with Christ. And that's a very important Phrase together with Christ. For since the moment that you have been born again, you are together with Christ. Wherever Christ is, you're together with him.
You are hid with him. Hid with Christ and God.
So you should keep in your mind the word with. You know, the preposition means, you know.
Some kind of a Location. In something, going into something, resting in something, on top of something, under something, beside something, with someone. We're with Christ. What a terrible consequence of repentance with Christ. That means Oh Power, omnipotence is with me.
And at any time that I need a miracle, the potential for a miracle is there because I'm with the one that has the miracle working power. When we were in sin. And when repented, God quickened us, made us alive. With Christ. How many say amen?
Quicken us together with Christ. By grace. You are saved. He puts that little emphasis in there. and has raised us up together.
And made us Sit together. In heavenly places. in Christ Jesus. You see, where we're not, we're not where Satan rules. Where we are, we're together.
with Christ Seated In the heavenlies. We are in his kingdom. We are with him. You see A part of me's already been raptured or translated. That's my inner man.
And that inner man has been raised up. With Jesus. See, it's two raisings: raised from the dead and raised out of the power of the world and Satan. and raised to the right hand of Almighty Father. Because Jesus was not only raised from the dead and then left here.
He was raised up. Above all principalities, powers, thrones, dominions, and rules, and names. For the Father said to him, sit at my right hand. Until I make thine enemy thy footstool. And that's where we are, no longer in the devil's territory.
But we have been quickened and raised from our death of trespasses and sin. and raised up together with Christ. to sit in heavenly places. And right now Child of God. Spiritually speaking, You are seated in Christ Jesus at the right hand of the Father.
They're in heavenly places. Let me read. Ephesians 1, 20 to 22. This is what happened. When God raised Jesus from the dead.
I could have gone up to the 19th verse and say that God wants us to know the exceeding greatness of his power towards us. That power that he manifested That was so powerful when he raised Jesus from the dead. Which he wrought in Christ. When he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in heavenly places. Far above.
All principalities. And powers. And bite. and dominion. And every name that is named.
Not only in this world or in this aged world. The world in its present age of grace. in that but also in that In that age, or that one, I'm putting in the word, but also in that which is to come. and have put and has put All things under his Feet. I want you to see where we're at.
And God wants us to know His exceeding greatness of His power. He wants us to know that power that he's projecting and sending towards us. That power that's so powerful When he energized it It raised Christ from the dead. Two raisings. Not only raise him from the dead, but then raise.
him up this mighty power. raised him up far above all principalities. All powers all thrones, all dominions. and every name that shall ever be named in this present age and in the age to come and put all things under his feet. Feet.
Jesus has been raised to the position of honor. At the right hand of the Father Where God's mighty power Has not only subdued death, Paul says. But it has subdued Oh. of his adversaries. Every Demonic spirit.
Satan. Him very self. Every earthly potentate That is And shall come to power. I don't care looking back in history, Alexander the Great and every conqueror on down the line, they have been put under. The feet.
or the control of Jesus. Whenever you see the terminology under the foot or under the heel, That means the total An absolute Conquering and subjugating of the person that's under the heel. And the first Promised that everything would be put under the heel of Jesus. was given to Our Mother Eve in the garden. In Genesis 3, 15.
After man had been achieved and Shinnen fell. And was there condemnation? Then the mercy and the grace of our earth. Great God was manifested when he told the woman, I am going to give you a seed. I am going to give you an offspring.
I'm going to give you the Son. God is the son of all generations. And that son is going to come.
Now I'm going to put enmity. I'm going to put a war. I'm going to put a hatred to the variance. Between him up And between Satan And Ultimately. On Calvary.
And God got this healed. He shall utterly take his heel. And orderly come down. on the head of the devil. Right at his source and power.
and utterly destroy him. Oh, he will be bruised. in that destroying him on Calvary. But oh, the devil will be totally destroyed. and not only conquered, but vanquished.
For when Jesus was going to Calvary, he said, now is the judgment of this world. No. Shall the prince of this world be cast out? And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me. And he was talking about the world and its power is finished.
and the devil and all of his authority to keep men in his prison house and under his power and dominion and his place of dominion, it is finished. And when Jesus knew on the cross that all of the scriptures were fulfilled, then he said, it is finished. But you know in the Greek, the third person is he or she or it. And you have to govern by the context, whether it's he, she, or it. And I kind of like to make it this way.
When it was all the scriptures were fulfilled, then Jesus said, he is finished. The devil is finished. And I don't know about you. But as far as my life is concerned, the devil is finished in it. I am not going to give no place to the devil.
The only way the devil can get back in, I have to give him a place, and I'm not going to give him a place. And when he tries to come around and get a place, I'm going to resist the devil. And if I resist the devil, he will flee me. Because just like God has raised Jesus up not only from the dead, but raised him up far above all the principalities and powers and thrones and dominions and every name that shall ever be named and put him at the right hand of his own self in the place of honor and power and has delegated all things into his hands. For the Bible said in John 3:33, the Father loveth the Son and have given all things into his hands and Jesus must rule, yea, until he has put all enemies under his feet.
And the last enemy that shall be put down is death. But the devil has already been put down, and sin has already been put down, and powers and dominions and every authority has been put down under the feet of Jesus. And in his revelation to the church about the body of Christ Jesus. Revealed that he was the head, but we are the body, we are his feet.
So, there, raised with Jesus, and seated with Jesus, and in Jesus, hid with Jesus, in Christ, in God, God Almighty has become, as it were, the servant of Jesus. For he said, Sit at my right hand until I make all of thy enemies thy footstool. And there at the right hand of the Father, the Father is placing all of our enemies under our feet, if you please. Hallelujah. I'm not going to let my heart be troubled.
I'm not gonna. Let fear come into my life. I had nothing to be afraid of. For where I dwell And where I'm living. There was nothing to fear there.
John the Beloved said in his letter. He that dwelleth in love. Dwelleth in God. For God is love. We are in the dwelling place of God.
We are in God's house. And in God's house. There's nothing to be afraid of. You know in your house You might have poisons, household products. And you need to put them up out of the way so the children do not get to them.
And they have safety caps that you can't open. But all in my father's house. We don't have to have Mr. Yucky stickers on. Saying warning is poison, yucky.
We don't have to have safety caps on. Because in my father's house... Where we're dwelling as a child of God, there's no poisons there. There's no devils there. There's no sin there.
There's no devil there. How many say amen? There's only righteousness there. There's only peace there. It's only joy there.
No wonder the songwriters said, come on and go with me. to my father's house. Be no sorrow there. In my father's house. In my father's house.
In my father's house. Be no sorrow there. In my father's house, there's only peace. Peace. Peace Hay, sinner.
Come on and go with me. In now you want me to sing, I'm gonna preach here. Praise God. We'll sing tonight. Come back tonight.
We'll have another singing. I'm preaching now. Nothing to be afraid of. Not gonna let my heart be troubled. Hey, Christian.
Quit being afraid. Quit being shook up. You have no ground to be shook up. Don't you let your heart be troubled. Don't you let it be afraid.
You ever don't For fear is faith. Just believe. Jesus said, you that believe in God, believe also in me. How many say amen? Just believe in me.
