Greetings, friends and new listeners, and welcome to this program of the R.G. Hardy Ministries. I'm Sharon Knotts, thanking you for joining us today, as we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Today's message by my father, Brother Hardy, is from his classic series, New Creation, Sons of God. A hallmark scripture of Christians is 2 Corinthians 5:17.
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. And this new creature is a son of God or a child of God. You see, the term Son of God in New Testament Scripture is not a gender determiner, but rather a legal position, which Brother Hardy explains, and so much more in this in depth teaching, New Creation, Sons of God. Oh, since I've been born again. God made me all over new.
Saul Letter said, I looked at my hands and they were new. I looked at my feet and they were too. I looked at everything, they were new. I'm new. Everything about me is new, new, new, new.
The old, old has gone away and everything's new. Behold, Jesus said, and all things become new, and all things are over from God. And every good gift and every perfect gift is from above. And cometh down from our Father of lights, in whom is no variableness, nor shadow of changing. Of his own will he begat.
Osh. With the word of his truth, that we might be the kind of first fruits of his creation. We're a new order. We're superman. We're greater and we're above that old fallen Adam.
We have the nature and the abilities. The characteristics and the attributes. of our Father God. For the divine nature is threefold. First of all, In character.
God is holy. And that's the first sign you're a partaker of his divine nature, like Peter said, whereby are given unto us. exceeding great and precious promises. That by or through these promises, we are a partaker or a sharer of His divine nature. And God's divine nature is holiness.
God is holy. He said, be ye holy, for I am holy. Follow peace with all men and holiness without. No man shall see the Lord. And I don't care how many names you stick on you or how many titles you put on you.
If you are not producing the nature of holiness, then you do not belong to God. The Jews. In Jesus' stay claim to be the sons of God. And Jesus said, no, because if God was your father, First they said we're the sons of Abraham. Jesus said, no, if Abraham was your father, you would believe or you would do the works of Abraham.
You would reproduce the nature of Abraham. And his nature was faith. He said, but you don't believe me because I come from the Father. Then they said, we've been not children of fornication, but God is our father. And Jesus said, no, God's not your father.
You're not reproducing his characteristics. But I'll tell you whose characteristics you are reproducing. It's not what you say. It's who you're reproducing. Jesus said, you're of your father, the devil, and his lust you will do.
Now, if you are doing lust, you're of the devil, and I don't care whether you like it or not. Whether you believe it or not, the word of God has said that. But if you are of God, you are going to produce holy and righteous works. Because his nature is holy. God cannot sin, and God cannot be tempted.
to do evil and i maintain you get far enough in the spirit and you get full of of of god uh until you're running over and submerged in him the devil wastes his time when he comes around trying to tempt you I want the double to come. And tempt me to do evil when I'm in the prayer closet praying and having visions of God. And that is saying, amen. Honey, you can get to a place, you can get to a level that the temptations run off of you like water on a duck's back. But the only time When you get Troubled with temptations, James said in the first chapter, you are drawn away from God and in trust.
How many say amen? You've got to reproduce the first part of God's divine nature, and that's holiness and righteousness. John said, What know you not? He that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. But he that committeth or practices sin is of the devil.
So you're going to manifest holiness and righteousness. I know the devil don't like holiness, but Paul said in the sixth chapter, the end of a holy life is eternal life. How many say amen? Then the second part of divine nature is God in intellect is all-wise. He's omniscient.
He's all-knowing. And we can partake just like we get of His Holiness. Then we can partake of his wisdom and knowledge. In fact, we are commanded to have the mind of Christ. And as we stay spiritual.
and live and walk in the Word. The Spirit of God begins to impart to us the mind of Christ. For I want to let you know this is the mind of Christ. This is the mind of Christ. You won't have to pray if it be thy will.
When you get the will in you, you know what God's will is. People are praying if it be thy will or saying they don't know the word. But Jesus said, if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask whatsoever you will and it shall be done. Because when you get the word of God in you, you're not going to ask anything according or against his word, but you're going to ask it according to his word. And then the third phase.
of the divine nature. It's just nature of creative power. And we can partake. Not only of His Holiness alone, of his wisdom and knowledge of alone, but we can partake. of his divine creative power.
But that's what The Holy Ghost baptism. and the gifts of the Spirit of God enable us to do. With the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge. And discerning of spirits, we can think like God and know like God. With tongues and interpretation and prophecy, we can speak and predict like God.
and with the gifts of healing. Faith and miracles, we can act like God. For Jesus said in 14:12, because you're a member of the new super race, because you are conformed to my image, and like me, because you're a partaker of the divine nature, the God nature, then the works that I do shall you do also. And even greater works than these shall you do, because I go under the Father. We can work the works of Jesus.
And Jesus said, I must work the works of Jesus while it is yet day. For the night come up when no man or no one will be able to work.
So we can work the works of Jesus. We can live just like Jesus did in this earthwalk, having his same nature. Yea, having the same word. You see, we have the same nature Jesus have. We have the same Father Jesus have.
We have the same Holy Ghost, Jesus have. We have the same word, Jesus have. We have the same promises. Jesus has. We have the same power, Jesus has.
Therefore, we can live and act and talk like Jesus and do the same works that Jesus did. Hallelujah. I'm a member of a new race. I'm a member of a heavenly race. I'm a member of a supernatural race.
I'm a member. of the race that Jesus brought. The divine race. He was a God-man, and I am a divine man. He had the nature of God in man, and we have the nature of God in man.
And what he does, we can do also. Hallelujah! Because his divine nature. He is in there. funneling his power, his wisdom, and his knowledge, and his faith, if you please.
Now before I go much further Lest some people get me confused with some of the preachers preaching this day. I am not preaching, we are God. We are not God. We are divine men. We are not Deity.
We partake of his Divinity. But we are not deity. You know what the word deity means? It means he that is self-existing. and self-maintaining.
I only know three beings. that are self-existing. and self-maintaining We call them our God. And that's the father. El Shaddai.
The pantry trader. The Almighty. That's the Lord Jesus Christ. Who before man was the word of God? and was in the beginning with El Shaddai God.
He is the word of God. That created everything. And that one thing, not one single thing in this universe. came into being except The word of God who is now. The Lord Jesus Christ brought it into being.
And everybody else is a creature. And he was brought into being somewhere in history. Even the devil, the devil is not deity, the devil is a creature, which means he is limited. And he owes his existence To someone. God created him.
And God limits him. And he can only do what God allows him. And not only does God have absolute power over the devil, but God has given to every one of his children, everyone, not only apostles. Not only the apostles and evangelists and pastors and teachers and deacons and platform workers and Sunday school superintendents and teachers, but he has given power to every one of his children because we all have the divine nature. We are divine sons of God and greater is he that is in every one of us than he that is in the world.
We might not all have the same office, but we have the same nature and the same promises and the same power and the same word and the same Savior and the same Holy Ghost and the same Father. Hallelujah. And the same nature. I mean, it's time to get stirred up. I mean we ought to know who we are.
But don't you get puffed up in your flesh leaf. Tables of your mind. It's not of ourselves. It's the gift of God. How many say amen?
God gave it to us. Therefore, all glory and honor. Shouldn't be under our god. No wonder John said, beloved, what kind of love, what manner of love is this, that we should be called a son of God? Honey, when I first got saved, I felt like running down the street hollering, hey, everybody!
God calls me his son. He had to give the revelation in parts because he knew we couldn't take it all. We would tilt. We would self-destruct. Just think of it.
Somebody dirty and vile. Shitter. everything opposite to God and God's nature. God looks down on us through the eyes of love and says, I'm going to call you my son. I'm telling you.
And he introduces us to the whole world. Here, from now on, call him my son. It's like some big millionaire, some big president of some... corporation. picking up somebody from the street.
And then cleaning them up. putting on a thousand dollar suit. couple hundred dollar shoes and take them into the board and say, I want you to call him my son. And you know what they're going to do? They're going to try to get on your good side.
But oh, God went further than that than to just call us his sons. For John said, Beloved, not only has God called us the sons of God, he said, But now, right now, child of God, brainwash yourself. It's now, it's not going to happen in some vague distant future.
Now, are we the sons of God? And in the vague, distant future, it does not. Occur what we're going to be. But then when we see him, we're never going to know him just as the babe of Bethlehem and the man of Galilee and the lowly Nazarene or the Lamb of God or the crucified Christ. But we're going to see him as the risen Lord of glory.
In all of his majesty. in all of his splendor. Like John saw him on the rocky islet of Patnus in Revelations. He's hair white as wool, eyes as laser beams, face shining brighter than the sun, body gleaming like brass molding in an oven, and the glory and the light shining over him, dwelling in the light that no mere flesh and mortal man can approach unto or see. And not only are we going to see him like that, but all in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, he's going to change these vile bodies.
Hey, like he changed our vile nature and fashion it like an under his glorious nature. That he's going to change our vile bodies and fashion it like an under his glorious body. I know he can do it because he's going to do it according to the operation and the energizing of his mighty omnipotence, which he demonstrated when he raised Christ from the dead and raised him up far above all principalities. and powers and set him at his right hand and has given him a name that is above every name. That of the name of Jesus.
Every knee shall bow. Every tongue should confess. He is the Lord to the glory. of the Father. And thank God we got the right.
To use the family name. Because as God came Jesus. All power. in heaven and in earth. Jesus has delegated Unto us, his brethren.
Those that have followed him into regeneration. Those that have been born again and from above. Those that have been cleansed by the blood. Be goddened by the word with all of the divine attributes in it. Those that are new creatures, sons of God.
and partakers of his divine nature. He not only shares his wisdom and knowledge, His holiness and righteousness. But he shares his divine power. For he said, behold, all power in earth is given unto me. Then he said in Luke 10, 19, Behold, I give unto you.
Power over all of the power. of the enemy, the devil. You shall tread upon serpents and scorpions, the spiritual symbols. of demon powers and demon spirits. And over all the power of the devil, nothing, nothing that the devil throws at you.
as you manifest faith. And as you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, Nothing shall penetrate that. Nothing can hurt you. Therefore, and you have nothing to be afraid of. And we rest assured, knowing that greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world.
And we rest assured, though the enemy comes out against us, yea, we shall have the victory, for we can lift our hands up at the beginning of the battle and say thanks be unto God that gives us the victory. And nothing. Shall be able to separate us from the love of God if we don't let it, if we don't want it. Nothing can separate us from the love of God where there is our dwelling place and where there is no fear. Nothing can move us out.
No tribulation comes, no distress. No peril. No timing. No nakedness. No sword.
Nay, in all of these things. We are more than conquerors. Through him. That has loved us and gave himself for us. And I hope that you're like I am.
I am persuaded. That neither death Nor life. No things present. Death can't separate me. Whether to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
Nothing in life. that can come my way shall separate me. No present circumstance can separate me. Nothing to come will be able to separate me. Angels shall be not.
able to separate me. Principalities and powers. shall not be able to separate me. Nothing in the heights and the heavens above shall be able to separate me. Nothing in the depths below shall separate me.
I am victorious in all realms. I'm victorious in heaven. I'm victorious on the earth. I'm victorious under the earth. Yay, because Jesus has given us his power and the right to use his name.
And the Bible said through Paul in Philippians the second chapter that at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth. And every tongue shall confess that Jesus is the Lord, is the domino, is the master, is the supreme one. Hallelujah. And we have the right to use his name. Jesus said, heretofore, you've asked nothing in my name.
Now ask that you might receive, that your joy might be full. Ask it in prayer. And whatever you ask, the Father in my name, He's going to give it to you. And then in combat, use my name for these signs shall follow them that believe by my name in my name and through my name they shall cast out devils they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover hey beloved now are we the sons of god and it doth not yet appear what we shall be but when we see him we shall see him as he is and he shall change our vile body like he changed our vile nature hey and made us a recipient of ever partaker of his divine nature he shall change our vile body and make us a recipient of his glorious body and then he shall catch us up and we shall be with him forever and ever and ever Amen.
