Today on Sekulow, Biden talks trash as Trump makes history. Keeping you informed and engaged. Now, more than ever, this is Sekulow.
We want to hear from you. Share and post your comments or call 1-800-684-3110. And now your host, Jordan Sekulow.
Hey folks, welcome to Sekulow. We're taking your phone calls. 1-800-684-3110.
That's 1-800-684-3110. I promise we can get to more calls today. We've got some updates for you. Of course, I think one of the greatest moves that we've seen so far yet on the campaign trail, and it's tough to even say. I mean, with five days left, who knows what else we might see. But you have that garbage remark, really, and it's the media seizing on it to try and use it against Trump. And then Joe Biden, of course, it's a comedian who used this term and, you know, says this about lots of groups. And that's what comedians do. In 24 hours, Joe Biden ended up calling all Trump voters garbage. Then his White House had to try to put out a statement with an extra apostrophe.
We explained all of that yesterday. And by the time President Trump was landing, in his next campaign stop, he was getting off Trump Force One and going right to a pristine garbage truck with a Trump banner on it. He put his orange vest on and, again, did an entire press conference from up on the truck and, you know, forced the press to cover it that way. And then decides later on, at the rally he was doing, to continue to wear the vest. And this is why, again, you're able to be serious at the same time, poke fun at your opponents close to election day, while some states are still allowing early voting today and others are allowing through election day, really, and others are starting to close. This is a turnout time. You're past the time, really, on, again, serious issues because you know where the candidates stand on that. Even Harris, who doesn't like telling you or explaining those issues to you, you can try and figure it out at least from what Joe Biden's done and from what she said, kind of. Okay, we know she wants to raise taxes.
We know she's going to be, her foreign policy is going to be very scattered. But, so this is a time that you want to get attention and reach people who are questioning whether or not it's worth going to vote and go vote for you. And I think, Will, what we saw yesterday was probably, if Donald Trump wins, this was the moment that it was over. It was when they had this moment to try to seize on him with the comment, and instead it backfires because of what Joe Biden did.
And in the midst of that, Donald Trump, you got Vivek Ramaswamy doing a trash route, and it did not, by the way, look like they were just doing it for the images. They were treating people kindly, they were actually interested. And that's because the Republican Party now, Will, it's very clear to me now, with the orange vest on, and a guy who's been to a lot of construction sites and worn a hard hat many times, as Trump has, they're comfortable in the blue collar world, and they also aren't afraid to encourage more growth in the blue collar world. That America got too obsessed with four-year degrees, and instead of saying, hey, you know, if you like working with your hands, you can make six figures.
You can have a middle-class lifestyle, provide for your family, and you don't have to have these debts of going to four-year schools to do women's studies degrees. That's right, and I think I have a quote I'm going to read for you. This is from an article in New York Magazine, and this is from an anonymous TV executive, said this. And I think it is so true and explains where we're at right now and how the elites in DC and in the media don't get half the country, because it says if half the country has decided that Trump is qualified to be President, that means they're not reading any of this media, and we've lost this audience completely. A Trump victory means mainstream media is dead in its current form. It's so true, but at the same time so tone-deaf, because they don't understand that they're the ones that abandoned in the fourth estate in all their grandiose buildings.
They abandoned half the country and don't know how to talk to them, and they're upset because they're not reading their newspapers. Yeah, breaking today, by the way, we'll talk about it when we come back. We just filed again at the U.S. Supreme Court. This is new as of today. This is different from yesterday with Virginia, to stop illegal votes from being counted in Pennsylvania, and you know that is one of the most key swing states. We also assisted a Pennsylvania voter through our ACLJ.org slash election hotline, which we are funding because of your support at ACLJ.org slash protect the vote. You can double the impact of your donation today. Helping voters, we're helping you. We want to get you the assistance you need. Welcome back to Sekulow.
We are taking your calls to 1-800-684-3110. I want to go right to Rick Rinnell. Rick, we know you were in Arizona yesterday.
You connected us with Carrie Lake, which was great for the show, and the audience, a little surprise there. Guest, where are you today? Still in Arizona, or are you heading to another state? I am in Albuquerque waiting for President Trump to arrive here in just about an hour for a rally in New Mexico. New Mexico has become a swing state for any of our listeners in New Mexico. Get out and vote. We are only three down in New Mexico, and Jordan, what this really means is that Donald Trump is on offense. We have four or five days to go now, and people need to get involved here. You can't just sit back and hope that the election goes well. Every single person has to get on the phone and call people and get them to the polls. We have a country to say, New Mexico is in play. You can't even believe how many people are here.
It's so exciting. Rick, what you're saying is really important for our entire audience to hear because we have audience in New Mexico that I know even a month ago, they wouldn't have necessarily considered in a state that President Trump was going to head to for a rally a few days before the election day. It just underscores that importance of, listen, we've still got five days. That's plenty of time to do a lot of work and get a lot of votes out. If you're that close within three and it's now a battleground, it's really about turnout and who puts in the time and the effort. I think, again, it's a very clear message to everyone listening right now. We've seen polls in New Jersey come out like this.
We've seen now New Mexico become the state where President Trump's heading. Everyone's got to get their vote out. It doesn't matter where you live, and you've got to get your friends out to vote. It's all going to be important whether or not we carry your state, whether your state's a Republican member of the House or a Republican member of the Senate. I mean, all of these votes are important, and to me, Rick, I think having that message clear to folks that it doesn't matter where you are.
Don't try to do a calculation. Get out the vote. We don't win if you don't vote.
It doesn't matter where you are, and there are places we can surprise you and we can surprise ourselves even if we put in that extra work. Look, I think Virginia, New Hampshire, all of these states are in play. If you are on the cusp, Minnesota is not in play. It could be in play.
President Trump's message of no other economy are absolutely in play. Again, you see, obviously, Wisconsin. That's where the Republican National Convention was.
It was done for a reason. There's been that buildup to Wisconsin, but I think we've also seen commentators that say this. Even since President Trump was shot, and there was a time when it was a little bit more sober. I think I was at the RNC, and it was very serious, and it needed to be, but he's found the joy again in campaigning, which when he finds the joy in campaigning, he's better than anyone else in history in modern campaigning, because he can put on a hard hat, he can put on an orange vest, he can go to a McDonald's, he can ride in a garbage truck, and it doesn't look like Dukakis, and it doesn't become the war is over moment for George W. Bush landing in the jet.
Mission accomplished, right. And I can confirm also, Rick said he's in Albuquerque. He filmed Jingle Smells there last year. Cell service, very rough in the city of Albuquerque. There's a lot of mountains, it's in the desert.
Not the greatest cell service, but we're going to try to get him back on the line. I think that alone. I mean, just the fact that when you are, as Rick said, you're on office because you're adding states. So right now, Harris is removing states. She's taking money out of states, and that doesn't mean there's not enough Electoral College votes out there for her to win.
So make that clear. This is far from over. We haven't gotten to an election day yet, but it is better to be in a position to be adding states that you think you can make an impact in, and that's exactly what's happening. And as you just heard from Rick, when you add to New Mexico, when you're all over Wisconsin, and when you can own a news cycle so quickly and turn it around to where Harris was going to make, you know, obviously had this huge speech plan. We didn't even talk about it yesterday. We're not even talking about it today. And the fact that Donald Trump, I mean, he explained, I think we have the bite, and he explained it last night at the rally.
The whole, I think the whole story he builds into being on the plane, the garbage truck, and how he ends up in the orange vest. Can we play it for everybody? Let's do it. I'm in this beautiful plane. I'm enjoying myself.
Have a wonderful suit on. And one of my people came in and said, sir, you know, the word garbage is the hottest thing right now. Out there. The hottest thing out there, sir. Would you like to drive a garbage truck?
Now, we're about 30 minutes from landing. We had to do this pretty quick. I said, it's sort of cool, though, isn't it?
Because, you know, and I said, you know, I think that's OK. But, you know, I don't feel comfortable wearing a suit and they pulled up this garbage truck. I don't know how they did it so fast.
I have very capable people. They put a big sign on the truck. Did you see it?
I think they showed. So, I mean, I think, again, he concocts the whole moment for you. I don't know if I should do this. I'm in this suit. It's a beautiful suit, you know, and how am I going to put this orange vest on and get up in this really tall truck? And that's going to be a whole thing. And by the time he lands, he's got the vest on, jacket off. It's climbing up in the truck. And then he's talking down to the reporters who are having to talk up to it.
And it's just, again, this is imagery. It is risky in politics. Your campaign will always, there's always somebody with these ideas and you have to know yourself well enough to know if you can pull it off. Because at the end of the day, you're going to be the person sitting there. You're going to be the one talking to the press.
It's either going to look and be one of those really key, awesome moments or it could be the end. I mean, you could really, it is very risky. But Donald Trump is able to talk to people. He is not faking that he's some blue collar guy. He's obviously a multi-billionaire from New York building, you know, high rises. But he, because of that work that he does, of course, you don't get to build high rises if the labor union doesn't come out and the construction guys and the sanitation guys aren't there. And the streets don't look so good if they're not picking up the trash. And so you have to have all of that go into play and you have to respect it.
And I think he does. I think that that's good for our country too. And it's good for a whole generations of our country who think that, okay, wait, I have to go to liberal arts degrees. What am I going to do with this liberal arts degree?
I don't even, I don't know. And so, but I've got all that $100,000 in debt now or more. And now I need to get a master's in what so I can do what job where that I don't even like doing. I don't want to be at a desk. And then we've got all these other jobs where you can actually make more money early and make decisions about your life.
That's a job that you want to do. We shouldn't be, we've been downplaying them in America. It's kind of saying, oh, we don't, those jobs are not worth it for Americans anymore. And I think that the Harris and Biden, it's all that because they constantly are talking about, yeah, I came from bad.
I came from bad. You know, and they don't tell you the fact that, you know, their moms are researchers at universities and things like that at Berkeley. But I do think we'll, when we see these moments, even those who are not on the Trump train, but are just being honest about the election. I think Frank Luntz is one of those people for CNN. They've got to be honest at this point. Five days out, you'd look foolish if you said this was disastrous. That's right.
I think that we should play this. This is from Frank Luntz. He's a longtime pollster. Kind of moved away from, he was kind of the Republican pollster, but moved a little bit away from that because of the Trump era. But I think he is honest when he gives his opinion about polls.
That's kind of his world he lives in. And this is a very interesting bite. This was on CNN just yesterday. Let's go ahead and play by nine because it reminds me so much of 2016. And I think there are a lot of similarities right now between this campaign and that campaign.
The divisions in the country were significant back then. People didn't think Trump had a chance back then. He's been gaining and gaining the momentum. I don't know who's going to win. I can't call it and nobody should because statistically and polling and focus groups, it is way too close to call. However, the momentum is clearly in mind and what I see and what I hear is in his favor. And so every word, every phrase, every misstep, every gaffe matters as those last remaining persuadables make their decision. I don't believe in the undecided anymore. I don't believe there is undecided.
Yeah, I don't think so either. I agree that at this point, you know, if you're a serious voter, you likely have already voted if you can. So if you're in a state that does have early voting, which many do now, most do, and it's in person. So it's the same as if you vote on Election Day. You know, in our state where we are broadcasting from, this is the final day and you can get in there. There's a lot of different options for you and you can get until, you know, I think it's till seven o'clock at night, just like a normal Election Day.
Then it stops and you go to Election Day voting. And who you're really targeting then is not people who don't know who they're going to support. It's people who aren't sure if they need to go vote or they may not be as fired up.
They may not be paying as close attention. I mean, you know, times are tough in a lot of places. Jobs are, you know, people are working two jobs, three jobs sometimes.
You know, we've got kids running around and holidays and all that. And so you go into this weekend and you want to focus in on people who are going to vote for you, but that you've got to get out. And that's where you come in. That's where we come in. And we were able to assist someone else through our ACLJ.org hotline.
It's ACLJ.org slash election hotline, who was not sure if their vote was correctly counted because of the way it was turned in. And we went through the process with them so they could ensure that their vote was submitted to Pennsylvania. And we've got another case.
Welcome back to Sekulow. I want to make this just clear to you guys because I know I've mentioned it a couple of times. So we had the case in Virginia go to the Supreme Court. Virginia, we filed in that case at the U.S. Supreme Court and the Supreme Court issued a reverse to stay. That means that Virginia will be removing 1,600 non-citizens from their voting rolls.
And nothing's going to come in play before the election. So that was a win. We filed in that as the ACLJ.
And we filed again today at the U.S. Supreme Court. And as of right now, we're the only group other than the RNC that filed the lawsuit in Pennsylvania to stop illegal votes from being counted. And of course, this is one of the most key swing states on the East Coast. So as votes begin coming in, you've got basically Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scranton, and Erie. And then the rest of Pennsylvania, which is very red. And it's how much of those areas, and even Pittsburgh itself and the suburbs of those areas, how big is the turnout?
And can it compete with what happens in the Philadelphia and Philadelphia suburbs, which is usually more Democrat-leaning. But in this case that we have filed, Pennsylvania has a law that says if someone submits a mail-in ballot, any provisional in-person vote they cast doesn't count. So if you sit in your mail-in ballot, you can't just go in and vote again. And because you've got this provisional issue, they've got to figure out, okay, that causes trouble for the state. So it's supposed to make it easy, so to be clear. But they're now asking in Pennsylvania that actually the clear requirements of state law, or can state legislatures actually decide the election rules and decide that you can actually go in and file a provisional ballot even if you have put in a provision, even if you already have mailed in your ballot.
So just not to get it too complicated here, imagine this. You mail in a ballot, and you go in and fill out another ballot. So you're making issues for the state, because they then have to figure out, okay, did your mail-in ballot count? And if so, why did you vote this provisional ballot? Did this person do it? Which one's right?
Which one was fraud? And this actually gives Pennsylvania those excuses, Will, not to be able to come up with election votes. So the law in Pennsylvania is clear.
You can't do it. But Pennsylvania is trying to operate outside the law. And so we're filing, the RNC is filed at the U.S. Supreme Court to say, no, you have to follow the election laws of the state.
That's right. And I think one good thing that we're seeing already in this election cycle is that these lawsuits are happening prior to Election Day. The courts had a lot of cover after the election was over and lawsuits were brought, because they're saying this is already done, we're not going to go back and undo an election based off this.
You had plenty of time when you knew that the legislatures or the county election boards were doing things irregular. Now, what is curious here is that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided to allow this to go through. You would think that it would be settled law, and also that they would want it to be less complicated for their state.
Here's how it gets complicated. So the Pennsylvania Supreme Court said if people's mail-in ballots are invalid for some reason, like they failed to include the required paperwork or signature, they can still vote provisionally, despite the law saying they cannot. How would they know that?
So there might be a way, and there are. We've helped voters check about their ballots being accepted. And that doesn't mean, by the way, that they have been open yet or checked to see if you've dotted every INT, which we said is one of the issues with mail-in voting, is that there are a lot of steps. And if you aren't someone who does it regularly, I wouldn't usually do it, unless you have to.
That's the one you only do if you've got to. And we had to help a voter who got in a mail-in vote and never got the basically receipt of service and was concerned that the vote did not get received. And we were able, because they contacted an ACLJ attorney at aclj.org slash election hotline, which we just launched in those last 72 hours, we were able to go through the process and ensure that their vote had been received. That is different than their vote being opened and checked to see if it's compliant. So how on earth then in Pennsylvania? So you're telling everybody who's sent in a mail-in ballot they can also go vote again and then let the Pennsylvania election system figure out which one is the right vote to count? Or you can only count their actual provisional vote if their vote that was mail-in doesn't count?
So I mean, this, again, causes disasters. It's like unnecessary for confusion, like you said, and complications put in place by these courts to think that they are making it a more fair and equal system. But in fact are the reason why we won't get vote totals and a winner and it gives Pennsylvania excuse for days. And that is not good for the country. You know, these democracies and I think in the United States, especially with most of us voting digitally now, there's no excuse for this.
There's just no excuse except for then you see these cases and you go, you know what, again, it's Pennsylvania. The difference is here, we are out front before, like Will said, and the reason we are able to do that, folks, is because of your economic support. We told you to really truly open up an election hotline to be able to assist voters in states across the country like we've been doing and are doing. I'm just telling you about some of the stories that we can talk about that aren't in process or different legal, you know, but have already been handled and handled quickly by our team. And it's because you are supporting the work of the ACLJ and we started this election integrity matching challenge where you can double the impact of your donation right now. And folks, we are utilizing these resources. As I told you, the first round of these resources is for people who need assistance or have questions or problems before election day. Then there are going to be a set of resources we're going to be having to utilize on election day.
Those you have to move very fast. We have two cases at the Supreme Court in the last 48 hours. Realize that. That is a lot of legal work at the ACLJ. It is the reason why the case in Pennsylvania, we're the only group that filed other than the RNC, and it is why you need to support and donate today. Because we'll also be prepared for all of those potential legal challenges and we hope we don't have to do them, but let's be honest, we've all seen it in the past. Let's be more prepared than ever before. Plan for the worst case scenario. Hope and pray for the best.
And that's what you do as attorneys and as lawyers and what we do at the ACLJ. And so we need that next set of resources for post-election day. And we are using them, folks, so you can donate today. You double the impacts. You donate $25. That's like $50. You donate $100.
That's like $200. And that's up at ACLJ.org right now and we're utilizing those resources. Two cases to the U.S. Supreme Court assisting voters daily as needed all across the country through ACLJ.org slash election hotline.
And Jordan, I do want to reiterate what you're saying is that these attorneys that we have, which are some of the best in the business, we have an incredible team here at the ACLJ. And not only are our attorneys pumping out briefs in record time to be sure that we can get the voice of the ACLJ supporters and members before the Supreme Court because we know that they care about election integrity and making sure that American people can trust their elections. But it's these same attorneys that while they're simultaneously doing that are helping individual people like that voter that you mentioned in Pennsylvania. We mentioned one yesterday about a voter in California ensuring that they have the confidence that when they cast a ballot that their voice will be heard.
And that's what we are doing here. We are your voice on on social media, on radio, wherever you watch this show, but also at the Supreme Court of the United States or even just helping you make sure you have the confidence that your vote that you cast will be heard in this election. So that is another reason that you should go support the ACLJ today.
Yeah. I mean, again, whether it's the filing at the Supreme Court out of Pennsylvania, a key swing state, or yesterday, the Supreme Court agreeing with our amicus brief blocking a federal judge's ruling that would have allowed non-citizens to vote in Virginia and kept sixteen hundred on the voting rolls. When Virginia has become, as you heard from Rick Ernell, a swing state like New Mexico, you're fighting across the country for the integrity of our vote, which is so key to our constitutional republic. Support the work of the ACLJ. Double the impact your donation. We need them, folks, to stay on top of everything.
ACLJ.org, donate today. Keeping you informed and engaged. Now, more than ever, this is Sekulow.
And now your host, Jordan Sekulow. You know, I didn't have my orange vest, but when President Trump's got it, I think he pulls it off better than I would. And I think we played that whole discussion with you. I think the whole buildup to it, it's again, when you're heading into election day, five days out, you want these moments that people don't forget. And they kind of get stuck in their head. It gets stuck in their head and reminds them to vote. It reminds them that you like the guy who can have some fun with this, even with serious issues that we're facing as a country. Because leaders who are negative and kind of this, the Harris style, which is everything is horrible and he's Hitler and he's dangerous. And we're like, he's like out with the people. People are smiling. Everybody's not angry. And I think that this has returned to what we saw in 2016 more than what we saw in 2020, which was a tough time because of COVID.
And economically, that was changing things. I do want to go to the phones. 1-800-684-3110. Louis, who's a champion, has been on the line. So Louis, you're on the air with us.
Yes. You may have another case out here in Colorado again. You heard about what the Secretary of State is doing, right?
Well, of course. Listen, Colorado, back in the news, Louis, because all of the passwords for the voting machines were online and not protected. We'll tell people about this because this is another one.
Again, I don't want to freak people out. And Louis, let's be clear to everybody. Vote. Get your vote in. Because don't think that these are excuses that you shouldn't vote or that you shouldn't get your vote in. We need to, as they said, swarm it, swamp the vote.
You want such big numbers that they can't cheat. Or that these one-off incidents are not going to be serious problems. So get out and vote.
And nothing should discourage you from that. I'm even nervous sometimes about talking about these stories live on the air, but we have to address them. That's right. And a lot of people are asking questions about this. So Jenna Griswold, you may remember her from the 14th Amendment case. She was the Secretary of State, is the Secretary of State of Colorado, and was very active in trying to get President Trump off the primary ballots there. That is a case that we represented the Republican Party of Colorado and were ultimately successful at the Supreme Court.
Maybe she should have been spending more time to make sure that her elections were in order instead of going after the former President. But regardless, it turns out that in June, somehow a spreadsheet that had all the serial numbers and passwords for the firmware to these election machines in Colorado were posted on the back end of her website. Someone discovered it.
It stayed up there for five months before someone discovered it. They've now said that they have pulled it down. They are changing the passwords and getting things in order. Now, Colorado is a heavy mail-in ballot state, and it's also pretty certain that it will be going Democrat this time, in the Presidential election at least. But if the Secretaries of State are so concerned about the integrity of the election, maybe spend less time trying to get someone off the ballot and making sure you're not putting the passwords up to the systems on the back end of your website. It's unfortunate. They play fast and loose with this stuff.
They play way too fast, way too loose, and they think that if you say anything about it, you'll end up having to pay a billion dollars to go bankrupt because those companies will sue you. But the truth is, this is another story that's out there that I don't want you to be discouraged from voting because you hear it, you go, oh my, here we go again. Dominion voting machines.
Another Secretary of State comes out, Will, and says, you know what, it's not just here, it's not just in our state, it's happening nationwide. But if you're in a state, there's six of them, that allows you to vote all Republican or all Democrat, but then go back through your ballot and make some changes if you want. There's six of states like that, that if you are using one of the accessible machines in the nation, that your vote won't register and there'll be errors. But here's the thing, you can fix that and that, again, no excuse to not go and vote and utilize those machines.
So it's not a error that can't be fixed. It doesn't mean you can't cast your vote, Will. And again, I just don't want people hearing those stories and thinking, oh, here they go, they're going to steal the election, so I shouldn't go vote. In the final segment, we will talk more about that, what happened in Michigan, and why you should still have confidence to go vote.
I honestly think the left puts these stories out in Michigan because they know that the group who cares about it is the conservative and the right, and that it impacts their thought process about waiting in line and voting on election day, which is what we've got to push so many people to do in five days. All right, welcome back to Sekulow. We are going to take your calls, too. But Logan has joined us. Oh, he's got the jacket on. Yeah, look, it was requested. I've seen a lot of comments about this jacket. I got texts from people saying, where do I get the jacket? I'm not going to tell. It's my orange vest?
Yeah, exactly, like President Trump. We don't usually see jackets like that, and then the one with the silk. Okay, I don't think we need to keep going through this. People who listen on the radio, yes, I'm wearing a jacket. You want to see this jacket tonight? I am really excited to showcase our brand new special, our primetime special, For the Love of God Save Our Country. It premieres tonight at 8 p.m., absolutely free, on our YouTube channel, Rumble, Facebook, X, and also, of course, on ACLJ.org. It'll be on all those outlets, so make sure you're subscribing on whatever your preferred platform is, or all of them, to make sure you get notified. Again, that will premiere tonight at 8 p.m. Then it'll be available whenever you want to watch it.
We encourage you to send it to your friends. It's really a special presentation, something unlike what we've done. It tells some great stories of amazing people doing amazing work on behalf of God, doing things as God's children in this country. And right now, if you need a little hope, you need a little break, it's not a highly politicized special. It does deal with topics like life.
It does deal with topics that maybe are political, have become political in nature. But if people like crisis pregnancy centers, pregnancy resource centers, they're doing amazing work. We have NBA basketball players who are really standing up for their faith, even through really big adversity. We have amazing stories, ACLJ cases that you'll get to see, and not just hear from the legal experts.
You're going to hear from the people themselves that it affected, kids who were not allowed to pray at their school. You're going to hear from so many different people. And then, of course, we wrap it all up with a great one-on-one I did with Michael Sweet from Striper, really talking about that 40 years of their legacy. And it really does focus on that we are living in a pretty dark time, but there are people who are still out there, and you can be one of them too, that is spreading hope and joy, regardless of who becomes President next week.
Whatever that looks like, there are still going to be people out there doing God's work. So make sure you watch that tonight, 8 p.m. on all of our outlets. I'm going to be checking in on all of them, so if you have comments or questions for me during it, I'll pop in and I'll be in the comments section trying to respond to as many as I can. It's going to be a great experience.
It's about an hour and 45 minutes. Of course, again, you can watch it at any time after it premieres. And Logan, you talk about the dark time that we're facing right now because of all the division. Especially, I feel like watching this to give hope, when you have the sitting President of the United States this week referring to half the country as effectively garbage. That's obviously what's taken over the news.
It's become sort of a joke to some point because the Trump campaign has capitalized on it. But when you look at the stories we're telling, not through necessarily the political lens, but when you are talking about people that are fighting for life or helping pregnant mothers that don't feel like they have a choice, or you talk about people standing up for their faith on a very woke stage such as the NBA, you look at all these things and it really does kind of pull that out. And I feel like the President's comment earlier this week is the perfect time for people to see the hope that we have from people whose values are conservative, Christian, that are outside of really where the mainstream Democrat Party are these days.
Yeah, absolutely. And there's a great portion of this film, this special. It's the second section of it broken up into multiple pieces where we focus on storm relief from Helene, from Hurricane Helene. And of course, that is featuring our colleague here on Sekulow, Tulsi Gabbard, and all of her efforts with We Must Protect her organization and what they did to jump in to action. There's a lot of people that jump into action even when they're not called upon or forced to.
And I think you're right. It's amazing to see who steps up in these situations. And it has some great also moments of faith. We have these almost sermon nets that appear throughout it by Matt Hammett and my friend Vince Antonucci who wrote them. And Matt is a great host. I host the special as well.
So you're going to see a lot of familiar faces, but hopefully some brand new stories. And again, I felt like when we called upon people to support this project, I said, we're going to do one day of promotion. And we did. On that April 30th, we did promotion for it.
And 3,000 people gave to be a big supporter of this project. And then I said, we're going to go away. We're going to make it. And at that moment, we decided, OK, what kind of road are we going to go? What kind of take are we going to have? And I'll be honest, the initial response, I was taking it a very dark place. I was taking it to here's the evil that's going on in our country. And then I feel like there was an awakening moment where I go, no, that's not what we need to focus on.
Sure, we need to say that's happening, but what we really need to show is how people respond and how you can respond. So that is what this special is. It is a great one.
You can watch it with your family tonight. Obviously, the first chunk of the film special, this primetime special does focus on life. There's also some great cinematic portions. And intentionally, it goes from the darkest of topics, which can probably be people who are dealing with the fact that their lives were destroying the storm or people that are dealing with, you know, really, really dealing with abortion, sadly.
And what does that look like to then slowly getting brighter and lighter, to by the end of it, it's me talking to a rock star. And it's a fun watch. I really enjoy it.
I've watched it many times now. Our team did an incredible job putting it together. Again, I host it and I encourage you all to join us tonight. And over three thousand of you supported it.
And those three thousand people's names in the credits. And unlike a lot of other organizations, we did not put this behind a paywall. The entire point was to make sure you could send this to people as soon as you have it.
So take that YouTube link, take that Rumble link, take the ACLJ.org, send it, retweet it, share it. Do everything you can do to get people to watch this, because I hope that it will deliver hope. I hope that it delivers hope for people who need it right now. And again, it's one of our great specials here.
It's very different. It's probably the most unique special we've ever put out. And I can't wait to hear what people think. So check that out. So tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern time, you can either go to ACLJ.org or if you're a subscriber on our YouTube channel, you can watch there or on Rumble. It'll be available through all of our social platforms. Absolutely free.
No codes, no work. Nope. It'll essentially premiere at 8 p.m. Eastern time, and then it'll be available. There'll be a kind of watch party, if you will, to watch with us.
And then after that, it'll just be available for eternity, hopefully. Logan, there are some people asking, because you're saying you'll be in the comments. Yeah. Are you going to be on Rumble and YouTube and all that? Pop around. Okay, pop around. People are very interested. Just put my name, and I'll search every time someone mentions my name, and I'll try to comment. But you'll see me there.
I'll make sure that I comment all around, and then I'll go back later, and I can comment if I miss anybody. You know, on ACLJ Action, by the way, our C4, and if you go to ACLJAction.org, we just posted today, actually, and this was a memo we've sent out to elected officials. We call it interested parties, but it's something that you can share with your friends. If you have folks who are strong supporters of Israel and still haven't voted, this is something great to share with them. It's called How the Harris-Biden Administration Harms Israel, and you can get it in PDF form. You can see the document right on the homepage of ACLJAction.org.
It was just posted there, and it walks through the Trump administration versus the Biden-Harris administration on Palestinian terrorism, on a specific topic of Israel, on Iran, and going through those issues and then kind of putting it all together in a simple way with bullet points. So, again, as we talk about getting people out to vote in these next five days and on election day, depending on how your state handles it, do whatever it takes and make sure you're utilizing the resources you can. And at the ACLJ, we've got that resource for you. Of course, we have the ACLJ.org slash election hotline. And we were able to, again, already be assisting voters to ensure that they were able to vote, that their vote was actually accepted, and we'll tell those stories as we can.
Others are more complicated that we're working on. We've had two cases already at the U.S. Supreme Court, one yesterday a victory. Virginia will be able to remove 1,600 non-citizens from their voting rolls. That puts a stay on a district court order that was trying to stop Virginia from, again, adding election integrity into their voting system. And if you think 1,600 doesn't matter, well, Virginia just became a battleground state, and the ads are running. So, you know, that's when votes, literally 1,600 votes, could easily determine the outcome of their electoral college votes in an election.
So, big there. Pennsylvania, we filed today at the U.S. Supreme Court, and that is in this morning, again, on an attempt by Pennsylvania to confuse and I think try to make it difficult to count the votes and for these, even the county boards of election and local election officials, because they're saying even if you did a, and you mailed in a ballot, you could go cast a provisional in-person ballot just in case that ballot wasn't filled out the right way. Think about the problems that could cause. By the way, it also violates state law, but the Supreme Court in Pennsylvania said you have to let people do that. So, is it the law or is it the court? It's at the U.S. Supreme Court right now. We'll update you as soon as we've got more info on that case. But it's not just all about the Supreme Court that you're supporting with your donations to the ACLJ. This is those funds that are necessary, as we said, to do this work.
What did we learn in 2020, and what have we known from the past? Okay, you don't want to be playing catch-up on Wednesday morning with where do we need to file lawsuits and who wasn't necessarily following the rules. You want to file those now. You want to know that you need to file them weeks ago, like these states did, to get them to the Supreme Court before election day. And then there's going to be a lot of people who have issues on election day. And we've got a team of attorneys ready to assist them at ACLJ.org slash election hotline.
And guess what? I hope it's not the case, and I want to go to sleep or wake up or be able to stay up late enough to know who wins this election on Wednesday, 4 in the morning, 5 in the morning on the East Coast. But we might not, and we may need more legal work. And so we want to have those resources.
Like I said, we never want to have to think, do we have the resources? Listen, maybe your kids are wondering why President Trump isn't with the garbage truck, but it's Halloween. My kids thought it was hilarious. I mean, Bob the Builder's here.
I mean, my kids can watch those shows. How do you do the truck? How does the truck work? Putting the truck together. There's Leo the truck. There's all these trucks. And kids love it because it's something we actually kind of, in America and all over the world really, you teach young people from a very early age that it's not just the people in suits and ties who you respect who are working hard.
It's everybody. And it takes everybody in a country to take all those different positions. And by the way, in the U.S., we kind of pooh-poohed so many of those jobs. And now we've got all these kids with debt who don't want to sit behind desks, even if they could get the job, who could have a comfortable middle-class life working with their hands and be a lot happier and actually enjoy the work. It might be harder work. It might be tougher work where you sweat more, but they actually like it.
They enjoy it. And we feel like for too long, we made it like, oh, those jobs are good enough. And I get we had generations that said, you know, I got to send my, you know, that was 40 years ago. I think we've seen a point now where America forgets how to produce things, how to make things. And when you do that, guess what?
Taiwan becomes more important than your American workforce because you're like, you know what? We won't be able to make semiconductors because we don't have a plant to do it. Yeah, we actually, our movie we made last year, our Christmas comedy, Jingle Smells. How hard was it to get a garbage truck? It was incredibly hard to get a garbage truck. That was probably the hardest thing about making this movie.
They were great by getting it. But I do have to say the movie touches on that, which is these career paths, though it is a comedy, these career paths that are controlled, not specifically to dictate to your big future plans, but that are real hardworking American jobs. And of course, we have fun with it. There's a lot of, you know, it's called Jingle Smells. It's a comedy, but it's actually available. We're now being able to market it as the number one garbage movie of the holidays.
The number one Christmas garbage Christmas movie you've ever seen. It's available now, by the way, on the Roku channel, ad supported. Yeah, Sean Hannity was executive producer. It's on the Roku channel. It is on Rumble and it is going to be coming soon to a lot more platforms very soon. Also on Fandango at Home.
So you can find it there. But that's not the special tonight. That's what I really want you to watch. You know, Christmas will start tomorrow. Today we're still in October, but here in October we have that special coming out tonight.
I want people to watch that. I want to make sure, because I've got a few minutes left here, and we'll take more calls, but I do want to make sure everybody listening, and you've got to share this also with your friends and family, because I know that it's our side who loves to find a reason not to vote. And I'll say it clearly. We love the conspiracies to say, you know what? I saw this Secretary of State, or I saw it on Fox News.
I heard Jordan Sekulow say it too. And those Davidian voting machines, if the accessible machines won't actually count your vote. And I want to just make it clear about what that story is about, and what that story is not about, and why either way it should not be a reason or excuse for you not to go vote, or for your friends and family not to go vote, even in states where this has been an issue, because it's not affecting, it may take you a little bit longer, you might have an issue, but it's a very small group of voters, because most of these states, again, everybody's not necessarily hating these votes. So just Will, let's just tell people, this is from the ACLJ, this is the truth, and it's why, again, we just need to swamp the vote, but Will, just tell people.
That's right. So Jocelyn Benson, who is the Secretary of State of Michigan, also tried to get President Trump off the ballot. So once again, another Secretary of State that maybe should have been more focused on election integrity, rather than trying to get a candidate off the ballot. But she did a press conference and didn't do herself any favors, because it is a little bit of a confusing situation. And it has unfortunate facts for her as well, because their Dominion voting machines had some sort of error.
Now, I'm going to explain what this error is and why she probably did more damage to herself by the way that she presented this information, rather than the reality. Now, this is specifically only the Dominion voter assist terminals. So these are not the regular booth. This is the booth for someone who has disabilities or has some extra help needed when they vote. Now, Michigan is one of only six states that still allow straight ticket voting. That's when you see your ballot, you can press a button that just says, all Democrat or all Republican, and it fills out your ballot for you. Here's where the error gets involved with this machine, specifically the voter assist terminal. If you press select all for one party, but want to change maybe one race, maybe you want down ticket Democrats, but you want President Trump, you select that, if you try to then change one of the races, you get an error message. It doesn't cast the vote, it won't let you cast the vote.
So these people will need to call an attendant to get help. And the fix for it is that instead of pressing all ticket and then changing it, you have to vote individually for each race, which we would encourage people. And there's a reason why only six states still have straight ticket voting, because you want to encourage people to vote the way they want to for each vote. And they are confident they press the right button for the right person. But these aren't votes that are being cast improperly. They won't get cast.
Someone will come and assist them and tell them how to do this. And that's why they got ahead of it. But the unfortunate narrative for Jocelyn Benson in Michigan is that she's having an issue with some voting machines and has to come out and say this when she is someone who tried very hard to get President Trump off the ballot with her governor, Gretchen Whitmer. Instead, they should have been ensuring that every American has confidence to vote in Michigan.
And I think they do. And that's why we wanted to say this isn't something that's going to affect your vote. If you're a Michigan voter, you can vote the way you want to vote your conscience. You can get in there and still cast a vote.
Don't let it deter you when you hear headlines that may try to make it more salacious than it probably is. And I mean, again, Alabama, Indiana, Oklahoma, Michigan, Kentucky, South Carolina, these are the states, these one set of machines that should not stop anybody from voting. And again, go in there. You will get your ballot in.
Go through each one. It's better to do that anyways. And let me just encourage you all right now because I think that this is what's most important going into tonight. A lot of people are going to be talking to each other because it's Halloween. People and neighborhoods are out and families are out and maybe you're someone that's got a sign in your yard.
Maybe you are someone that people come to in the neighborhood to talk and they've got questions. They're just now starting to pay attention. I mean, there are 50 percent of voters, and Logan, I think this is probably still about normal. We know that 50 percent of more people have not voted yet. Even with all this early voting that's being bigger than ever before because Republicans have done a better job, so it's more even, that most people still will vote on Election Day.
We're still at least more than 50 percent, probably more like 60 or 70 percent in the states that don't just have the mail-in or don't just have some other kind of system. And they're still making up their mind if they're going to go and if they are who they're going to vote for, if they're going to tell people who they're going to vote for because they're concerned about that too. It's gotten to be a system, you know, I've talked about this with our parents too, where everybody's so quiet and in line and everybody's very serious. You can't take your phone out, you can't talk, and it's like, don't ask somebody how they're voting. Don't even talk about the issues. Yeah, absolutely.
Even if that's in your neighborhood. Yeah, and I think that's a big issue that's always been something that's divisive, you know, don't talk about politics. But now, more than ever, I've seen so many of my friends who have just spoken out and people who have just said, hey, here's who I'm supporting, and just get their careers and lives destroyed. And that's been over the last couple days. It's really sad.
I was reading comments today from one of our friends who just posted a very blanket general support, and it was just sad to see all the comments. And it can feel, like, heavy right now, but you really need to still get out there. Yeah, and remember how Rick Renell said he's now in New Mexico because that's now a battleground state. New Hampshire just got moved from lean Democrat to toss up. Virginia is moving.
North Carolina, we know the Harris has moved money out of North Carolina into Virginia. So it doesn't really matter where you live at this point. You might not know until election day that your state is now in play. So almost ignore all of it and get out the vote. Every state matters. Every vote matters.
Everywhere in the country, every congressional district has a race right now, and there's plenty of Senate races and other races in your state to determine the makeup. So if you need help, you go to ACLJ.org slash election hotline. And if you want to help us help others, donate today and double your impact at ACLJ.org. We need your support. We'll be here tomorrow.
