Singular major league baseball to the left cancels the All-Star game in Georgia in the US binding ministration begging for some kind of communication with Iran live from Washington DC for your questions right now called 1-800-684-3110 six state forms are interstate Mike Pompeo senior counsel for global affairs.

The ACLJ will be joining us.

The third signal broadcast live at this as well. Fox News reported and I think everybody knows who follows baseball.

At least her falls news those of the major league baseball has decided to move the July All-Star game out of Atlanta out of Georgia the same week they signed a new deal with a Chinese firm to drop the MBA over the NBA's executives Hong Kong support that firm is a tech firm Chinese tech firm run by the communist party of China and it is also one that helps track down dissidents. That's the same firm that that has signed on a deal with the with major league baseball. The question here is our all these activists just following talking points instead of actually realizing what this law has in it and what the law does not have it and a lot of what's going on line law doesn't have. In fact, Joe Biden got for Pinocchio's from the Washington Post fact checkers for Pinocchio for saying that it ends voting hours early. No voting hours in Georgia state exactly the same 7 AM to 7 PM.

As long as line by 7 PM. To be able to cast a vote. So no change there, but Joe Biden in the left will just continue to lie about this to call you Jim Crow 2.0 and literally. There are blue states like his home state of Delaware, which have more restrictive laws for Delta Air Lines is also supporting the idea of this kind of boycott of Georgia Mets on the database database company Coca-Cola. All of the subs out. Major league baseball makes the move not realize what their objecting over is a requirement for voter identification. That's really what okay now get on your Delta Air Lines flight yet to show your ID to get your ticket to pick up you will call tickets at the major-league baseball game you pursue your ID in order to get your tickets to visit the world of Coke and pick up your tickets and will call you have to show your identification, you would think to vote that might be the same thing. You listen everything that requires an idea in the United States thinking SCID future credit card. The last under covert. Maybe that is not the case as much, but it still obviously something can be done.

You have to show your ID for just about everything in the United States of registering kids for school. All the school going down down down the list. But here's the bottom line there.

There lying about the water and the food. It's a sad commentary to the, the County and the specific election precinct can hand out as much water provide as many resources to people waiting lives.

It wants what it bars is interest groups from feeding people to wait in line. That's a sad commentary on voting in America that the only way they think these people will vote that Stacy April 6 actually vote as if they feed them in line and that I guess water is not enough either from the county this again. They have expanded the ability to do absentee voting right but you do have to have an ID and by the way, to make it easy. If you have a driver's license you're asking that question. You could just give a state issued ID for how much. Absolutely nothing cost you zero dollars to get a state issue ID and you can then participate in voting however you like. It is also interest will get into this the major-league baseball commissioner is a member of Augustine national that's happening this week that that's this week.

Now they've moved to get rid of that when Jack is in enough time. But here's the thing, Marco Rubio, our friend, United States Sen. has sent a letter to Mr. Manfred saying, by the way, your member of Augustine national you keep that membership at the Georgia here to go to what's going on when you get all this information wouldn't stay on top of these issues. Your support of the ACLJ keeps all happening where a matching challenge month for April ACLJ.org any money donates double ever take your phone calls to as well.

1-800-684-3110 is the MLB following in the bad business decision.

Footsteps of some of the MBA in our sinful NFL and now MLB is the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in coalitions at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life and commerce. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100.

This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous support to Courtney and her matching challenge today make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you.

You forgive today online okay only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications. 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right question for copy mission in life today online ACLJ/companies are supporting the major-league baseball decision and condemning the Georgia election loss got Coca-Cola which is a course base, Atlanta, Georgia same place for the All-Star game would've been located. Home Depot base, Atlanta, Georgia.

Both of those companies Coca-Cola has expanded spent beverage production in China with six new facilities with more to follow.

In 2021. Home Depot has tried to operate inside China. They haven't done a great job there, but still accounts for Cipro put a .3% of their sales. They haven't given up completely dealt, of course, a major airline, they are totally partnered with China to be one of those major airlines and yet about yesterday Rubio read a wrote or tweeted earlier, what we expect your letter saying their ongoing genocide is unacceptable does not match else's values.

So again, Apple same thing that that's their manufacturing base for your iPhone Facebook was banned in China there hoping to return to their begging China for return to the market and of course that the Atlanta Hawks, the MBA has made deals with China as much as possible even fired an executive over their criticism. In Hong Kong they be a fired its executive so the double standard here is his preamble the Bible to go to Prof. Harry Hutchison are on policy directors also in seeing accounts of the ACLJ and personal belongings. Georgia actually expands my view I mean if you look at in total and you have to look election laws and total expands various areas of election right I mean voting absolutely and it codifies this expansion." Quite a contrast. For instance, with the Delaware election law and it's very very important to note that all of the opposition to the Georgia law, all of the criticism is based on first a false narrative that election get the opportunity for voters to vote has been shrunk. That is untrue. At the same time the opposition to this Georgia law is grounded in opposition to election integrity, so the Georgia law was aimed primarily at one thing, expanding election integrity. Apparently US corporations who have a distinguished history of racism in their own past and who are continuing to work with the eugenics base regime in China now. Feel free to criticize a law by claiming along with social justice warriors that you can vanquish racism in the United States by what seeing it everywhere and I think at the end of the day the American people ought to reject this approach by woke corporations to bully the state of Georgia, or any other state that votes in favor of laws that improve election integrity to one of the things I said earlier, I want to reiterate that is that the main objection to the law. Is this voter ID requirement, which is by the way voter ID requirements are in most states. We did an analysis the law in Georgia is more open for election more more available makes election easier than Joe Biden's home state of Delaware, Joe Biden also said which got for Pinocchio's from the Washington Post that and when we play. That sound of his was going play first.

I'm worried about us outgoing American. This whole initiative is it sick is sick society. Some states that you cannot order to people standing waiting to follow deciding that. And voting at 5 o'clock when working people are just getting off work so what you can bring water to a line and George know they don't want is political parties handing out food, water and partisan as John voting lately if you want bring her a lot of local county officials have water available, they can do that so that's not right. He was wrong on the less hours ecosystem. Close to 7 PM and is as but really what is about is also the BID differ for it in the not just mail out ballots anymore typically don't that may or may not be able to receive them appropriately. Restatement require voter ID just like major-league baseball requires him to pick up your tickets just like Delta Air Lines requires it. When you go on the airplane. Not that Marco Rubio has already spoken out on this where the other members of the Senate on this well major-league baseball may have really open Pandora's box. On this day in and out. I'll say this. First, you know this on.

I'm a huge baseball fan jamming. I've got data surgically repaired shoulder and need to prove it.

But this is something that they had ventured into deep waters on you mentioned Marco Rubio. He's meant he's working with Sen. Cruz, Sen. Rubio and Congressman Jeff Duncan out of South Carolina, J to introduce legislation that would repeal major-league baseball's antitrust and in China we probably don't want to get all the way into the deep into the weeds on that but essentially it's this since 19 the 1920s major-league baseball has been considered a sport not a business that is not true for the NBA, the NFL or the NHL bit J if they want to go down this path and attack businesses in Georgia and they are going to get a response from both the House and the Senate and I think all of those numbers that we talked about again push for hearings in there to push for bipartisan support of that kind of legislation that something J that Commissioner Manfred. He absolutely can't tolerate that males against our giving up as the guest of national membership license Miami. I think this is where this all comes to an interesting point is that these elite CEOs are some of the wealthiest people of the country they are detached from reality they are detached from even probably baseball itself because even though it's not considered a business's stance and under our law, it is a giant corporate business that's made a decision that because of other corporations. They should cancel cancel this event in Georgia because because of the laws of the state you know is going to be at the Atlanta Braves stadium, a city that is really being punished us even Stacy Abrams that she didn't like this law at all of it. She says I've stated I respect boycotts of the door to see Georgia families hurt by lost events and jobs. That's exactly what is going to happen. The people that are affected the most by this moving are not the corporations they can go move their of insights and and and other parties are going to have.

If it's a good have to have the city estimate that Coca-Cola is not to move out of Atlanta know they can tell the airlines is not to move out of Atlanta because of all the tax incentives they have any operating there any airports that were built for their businesses. So who are they hurting her. By doing this, where they hurting their the people that work the concession stands with small businesses that were been benefiting from this area impact the local economy to the tune of at least $100 million absolutely no hurting corporate virtue, signaling has a disproportionately adverse effect on African-Americans and this is a classic illustration of the pad and sell the major-league baseball league and many of these will corporations they are sending a signal loud and clear.

We are prepared to believe a law so long as we believe it will improve our bottom line. Equally clear, these corporations are quite willing to maintain and expand their relationship with China out one of the worst human rights violators in the world. It continues to subordinate the Uighurs and other members of its population and more likely than not these will corporations cannot stop themselves from going to China, hat in hand, bowing the knee to these Chinese dictators so at the end of the day, all Americans African-American and non-African-American alike should reject the false narrative being pushed by these major corporations who do not care really about the American people. It's all about improving their bottom line is we have time for this. And maybe what we need to do this in the second half hour, but the quote about the state saves as steels question for me is family time let go. Implicit in this a listen to Joe Biden response baseball All-Star game in Atlanta. Because of this political issue. I think today's professional athletes are acting incredibly responsibly. I would strongly support them doing the very people who were victimized the most are the people who are the leaders in these and these various sports and it's just not right. This is Jim Crow on steroids. Only when people from around the term Holocaust. I don't like when people from around Jim Crow, just as if it because I think it it it it diminishes the significant historical aspects of those two of those tragedies. However, let me explain something to Joe Biden.

The people who are victimized the most of the people who are the leaders in these various ports baseball player making $30 million a year could figure out a commission right right in the end of the major-league baseball commissioner are not being victimized by these laws there victimized I have any laws that some of the wealthiest people in the exempt as as they exit from antitrust laws. Let's not be clear so I mean I think they have a positive I was aware again it would seem MBA do if they don't get special treatment baseball sought NFL good thing get special treatment baseball baseball get the special treatment is kind of America's pastime when it starts canceling out on some of America's biggest cities is America's pastime anymore many people to turn off baseball now turned off so many of the sports insomuch that ESPN commentary because it became like another MSNBC. It then said this and what will be picked up thinking about you and get her near the hotdog vendors and the hourly wagers are exactly probably that of those families by finally starting to get back to work will be right back in secular only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable and is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created a free and powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn Gold mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ pro-life fighting for the rights of pro-life activists ramifications. 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the worship ministry and what Obama care means to the pro-life many ways your membership is empowering the right question free copy of mission life today online/the American Center for Law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful.

Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge. Make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you.

You forgive today online okay secular. We are joined by former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, Senior Counsel for global affairs at the ACLJade secretary pump that will write to you on the major-league baseball decision to cancel out Atlanta as the host of the July 13 All-Star game.

We don't know where it's being moved to but do you bid very direct. You said that tweeted out George's laws don't report that major-league baseball quote values but I guess China's do and yet you continue tweeting out we've continued explain people secretary pump, a all these different corporate interest based out of Atlanta who are supporting this move all their ties to China. You know Jordan, it ought to hear that major-league baseball commissioner say that about values when in fact taken two minutes to read the bill.

Immaturity put in place to protect the electoral system in the process. All stories about food and all that is not the crazy stuff in stock. What they really did want that I know of people around the world see this when they when they watch what we're doing here in Atlanta to the hard-working people who fill a stadium to park cars who do all the good work. Left above a restaurant and bar owners around the stadium is an enormously punitive measure taken to support some woke understanding of the P2 legislation that they only believe exist because the left-wing media told him told him that that in spite of what's really in the bill like to keep harping on is the requirement that you have to have some type of ID tab absentee ballots you mailing your absentee ballot.

You have to prove some kind of ID enough you don't have a drivers license or the other ID that you can get for free.

A George ID card. The irony of this. This is kind of been there focal point of this think is that stuff about the food and it not being true. You can carry water if you want to bring in watered local election officials can provide water to provide a smorgasbord if they wanted to eliminate its than what the parties doing that. Obviously it was the voter ID. The irony, of course. Of all of this is that to get a ticket to your ticket at Delta Air Lines. You gotta show your ID point to get your tickets for major-league baseball you have to show your voter ID to pick up your tickets at will call if you're going to go to the wonderful world of Coke in Atlanta.

By the way were Coca-Cola's based. You have to show your ID to get your will call tickets so this is again using non sequiturs. They are creating an issue in this woke environment and all the really hurting is the locally flattering these baseball players were making 20, 30, $40 million a year. It's hurting the hot dog vendor in turning the suppliers it's hurting people that work in the Atlanta Stadium.

Most Americans know that there are things that we do require that idea.

The security component we want to know who it is, were actually dealing with what I'm doing this to Jan we could just be honest about the Stacy Abrams idea that is built alive somehow that that asking for someone to get a free ID is past the skill set of certain groups of people, if not everyone can do this we have to honor that we had to make sure every Hispanic, every African-American gets cancer but we want all of them to have the opportunity, but just like anyone else in America it's the right thing to do and to suggest somehow that voter ID harkens back to the times of pull taxes or Jim Crow. It's frankly sickening they know it's not true and it is an effort to divide not to unite us ties. It's also mentally baseball's doing deals with the Chinese Communist Party both distribution deals with a can cover networks and using technology now the Chinese as you know better than anyone is to serve as Secretary of State. One of the worst human rights records in world and the world we one of the worst in the world you hearing no objection to them doing business with the Chinese Communist Party, but they have an objection to a baseball game being played in Atlanta that belie the underlying theory of the case for them which we know that voting rights for the typical Chinese person inside the country of China there unless you live in a place like I want a free and democratic place.

But if you live in mainland China. Your chance to vote their birthday. Nobody ID required for flight. This is a cynical ploy by these business leaders to make money in China and then deny the capacity for hard-working Americans turn to living in Georgia. It's really disturbing you look at the voting laws in Georgia versus New York New York is making a big Chuck Schumer Sally once in New York, Georgia. Under the new law allows 17 days of early voting.

New York only allows nine George allows no excuse to vote by mail in York requires excuse if the reason why voting by mail the difference. Georgia has you have to have a valid ID required to vote by mail, in person, and York doesn't see that's that's that's it right there in the water. Even York has a ban on passing out food and water must, under certain value. There's no ID, so there's nothing about whoever passes out to you doesn't have a shirt that says both this way or a political movement that you would somehow connect to how to vote and then a course in Georgia they been passing a food and water within 150 feet allow unintended water receptacle seek to put out water for people's what you want.

You just won't get to put out your political messaging what what what Georgia did in their effort to enhance and create a broader scope for valid voters to cast a ballot to make sure we have secured an integrity filled elections as well. Common sense that the left is use this again is a chance to divide if it's really unfortunate that it became a fact free discussion based on some liberal critical race theory that was thrown into the mix that a series of senior business leaders who are headquartered in the state of Georgia saw fit to do this while having to acknowledge that it's not really about values because other places. They operate have far worse voting rules, including place they operate. All around the world is not just China.

Many of the country for major-league baseball business, including all the wonderful human ballplayers who come from Cuba place that that that baseball has no problem doing business with so she doesn't want to turn our attention to Iran's weekend coming. Joe binds ministration people better bear now once negotiated the Iran the so-called Iran JCP away want back in desperately to not doing direct negotiations with the quote from Jen Saki where she talks about that that the environment is not the same as 2015 2016 not make because of the changes that your ministration made in the Middle East with these regional partnerships so they wanted desperately here to talk directly to talking indirectly where is this going.

The meeting went camping at Americans will be present at heard Sen. Blanca talk about longer and stronger, but I wanted a better agreement. I hope that what they really mean what is that negotiating team, Rob Malley, Wendy Sherman, the folks who are likely to be at the center of decision-making on this using very different language there there suggesting some sort of moral equivalence between errata and United thing states that what we both discussed each other.

That's very much like something the UN would say that something was representing United States of America and discussion in deep, deep security implications not only for America but for our friend and ally Israel have our friends in the Gulf was well again.

When you look at the situation involving shuttle diplomacy. To me it just from reminds me that the by demonstration. Seems like they are begging, just begging for Iran to give any communication whatsoever that 1/32 here, but it does seem like were begging for engagement Significant provisions that have appeared. 2025 and 2030. The old agreement that something would go back and thank you very much appreciate Jessica sometime about they'll be with us in the course. He is our senior counsel for global affairs of the ACLJ thanks Mike. We appreciate this folks. Your support of the American Center for Law and Justice allows this broadcast with this kind of analysis to come into your room home five days a week on multiple media platforms. Also allows us to hire people like Mike Pompeo, Rick Grenell and others support the work of these children are matching temp challenge campaign. We had a matching gift for ACLJ.org, March was fantastic and once you the same in April ACLJ.the American Center for on critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family.

Give a gift today online ACLJ live from Washington DC latest move by the left corporate America, you know, everybody out there who thought maybe you still face big business, the Republicans, they are there in bed with each other. They are that the Republican Party is the party of big business, think again. It is the left there is the party of big business. It is the left is the big party of big corporations in and it's put on display by how quickly major-league baseball will move the All-Star game out of the state out of the city because of what the state has done.

Think about that to that of the city.

Part of the state because what is state legislatures done which by the way, is less restrictive than many voting laws in the country. We heard this from Joe Biden to when he complained about Georgia. He said that I would such as Georgia. It's like the majority of the country. In fact, more than just what you're thinking. Majority take Alyssa by Jim Crow on steroids. What they're doing in Georgia and 40 other states what dates is a lot more than just red state blue state so see me the 40 other states. Great art are securing their voting was amended to be a wonderful thing, but I don't see that happening in a lot of blue state unless those blue states Artie have such restricted voting laws they don't need to reform theirs, but I would so your status in your state does not result in Georgia. Much more so than George, but the idea that 40 states he has no idea what he's talking about, you realize we were present who literally make statements about 40 of the 50 states United States doing what George is doing no proof of that. Yet, for Pinocchio, so that as well. This is a guy who's just making up things when he's not on Teleprompter so you got his home state of Delaware more restrictive than voting in Georgia. He's got you got New York rejection. Once the All-Star game to go more restrictive than George and now Joe binds same 40 other states, but Logan joined us.

All of these businesses. Entertainment businesses are ugly part of this airlines. This is the new woke moment and this is the new attack to get to Georgia.

Is it something you think of Atlanta being just this major metropolitan area. People are not familiar with Georgia here Georgia and they think of things that we are less savory that those communities the way to look at your leave Atlanta as this massive New York style city you going to see these businesses that are writing their Hollywood is called for boycott boycott to George without back for the last few years, whether with heartbeat Bill Bell, the public is the problem is Atlanta business.

I represent the rest of the state and it's always good to be a conflict. It's always good to be an issue in this time you may want to boycott businesses because of the heartbeat Bill Hollywood was with a long laundry list people who were not going to work in Georgia because of it and a lot of stuck to it did not something over so that I do. It was a really donate our money to I think that Lovecraft country donated money for the episodes of certain people to the Abrams and the other place so there was ways they kinda got around it without doing for boycott. This time you see James Mangold who is directing the new Indiana Jones movie about Campbell's Luke Skywalker. I these guys are saying that often work in Georgia until something is done now a lot of you Georgia I saw little of the loophole there to get out of it because a lot of the pressure has come now from other people and said again, much like like Stacy ever said this does not hurt the lawmakers.

All this does is hurt a huge community of people who are in a blue-collar people working on a lot of these movies are about grips and and is not just about the stars that they said the local impact here and really got a minute here is $100 million to the county, LeCompte County immediately ran the stadium and that's a huge number. It's a huge number and again, I think, as Logan intimates this will hurt working-class individuals and it will significantly hurt African-American workers and African-American businesses.

So the whole idea of a boycott is hugely ironic, but we also live in the moment in which the facts really matter.

Truth doesn't matter it's all about emotions all the way down to come back asserting your phone calls at 1-800-684-3110 at 2000 684-3110 talk to us on the air with your Facebook comments YouTube comments as well will talk more about that Iran issue to be right back on secular American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.

Whether it's defending religious freedom.

Protecting those covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life reports and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this or that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes 20 $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ work. We simply would not occur without your generous matching challenge make protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms. Today online okay only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice. Is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn will show you how you personally. Publication includes all major ACLJ were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the street and what Obama care me as many ways your membership is powering the right question mission in life today online/as we are tearful close to 164, 31, two, that's what hundred 64 3110 think Mike all in organ online one hey Mike, good. My question is this weekend with family and trying to explain to people like on the Georgia like a lot of people are upset about it lead to termination because the water bottle like that and you can count the back .12 soundbite a quick area to be able to set them on the rights of soundbites to pick who they like the soundbite from anything like that from the radical left, then you know force can be tough to convince her family was shown to side-by-side this tons of them available and in fact just make it clear how this law is not disenfranchising but is actually a Georgia law that in franchises more voters expands voting times expands access to absentee voting and puts in the free ID to get a driver's I should get a free ID from the state. Once you also apply for absentee ballot unit to continue to apply and feud the future elections that year ceiling to make one application once no reason why just make the application but you do have to have an ID number to put downs that the right guises or just if you don't have pay for the state of Georgia. I would think that that would be sufficient and that should not raise the problem but it is now somebody's there is anti-Georgia bias. Yeah, I think there is nothing there is. When it comes to get there conflicted with the state of Georgia because Atlanta sex is such a huge metropolitan areas of incredibly diverse great city born and raised there but you look at the rest of Georgia. Dennis, I represent all of what's happening in just Atlanta you have gigantic businesses help Delta recently screened the film industry and here here's loving concerts. Hollywood moves to Atlanta, but a decade ago and now you're trying to pull infrastructures about gigantic village duty out there. They're not talking about some of doesn't shoot a movie there this thing happened in Louisiana Louisiana they end up leaving because a tax credit, tax incentives were better shoot Atlanta.

They were there now Louisiana is filled with soundstages that are just a bit better like Orlando. That's it for because these areas become hot for a moment that the industry leaves so Hollywood can leave now. Most major motion pictures you watch are shot Atlanta all your avengers. All of the things that you mainly see you look around if you're familiar with the rise.

All of this is in Atlanta all your major Netflix shows are in Atlanta because the tax incidents are so good that industry. Besides the plot now thankfully it's just been a couple people with no name people here, not some major designers about major actors and obviously huge directors that are said to learn and work in the state because of these laws can they did it the heartbeat built two years ago and out.

Yet it can acquire the dance of the things that happen in Hollywood news moves on stars, but it could really hurt a big group of people who rely on this now with their business who moved to Atlanta because of the booming industries either they're threatening to leave. I want to talk about those tax incentives is the reason why people come to places and the impact that cement could have on all that but also want to go first man and that is you know were talking about local elections were from a statewide election legislation on the federal level that wants to federalize all of this yet. Couple of things jamming first. All we talk about in a couple of couple segments ago about the effort in both the House and the Senate to repeal majorly based on any trump to trust exemption. I think this could really escalate that.J, though, to the point that Logan was making about the political consequences here. Look, I think you can cut through all the interpretation your what Logan's talking about is exactly why Stacy Abrams and John Awsat, who both say that they hate this law, who both say that it is discriminative.

All of those things in J. It's why they simultaneously said that it was a bad idea for the All-Star game to be moved because they know two things they know number one. The impact will be felt on the very people that they say they are trying to help, and here's maybe the bigger one day maybe this is why they were willing to go to that second step. They also know that losing this type of revenue for the very people that they count on to vote for them that hurts them in 2022 and it hurts them in 2024 that political calculation is why there hedging on this people even involved entertainment Street have responded to people like James Mangold specifically said hey we work for years. Here we brought all of them related Atlanta look at the election. We did this doughboy, some of the more hard after we worked for years to get Democratic Senators represented by we did this Hollywood Dennis Hollywood brought it to Georgia. Now obviously exactly what a lot of people want to hear the industry kind of freaking out because they spent so much time making Georgia potentially blue state that when something could threaten, not including again labor people just abandoning ship for a Georgia talk about their big stars that had this. It's an interesting issue that will continue to happen. I think Georgia because of the conflict is hopeful culture can have severe economic consequences very for these communities for you to send Logan yet. The entire movie industry moves to Georgia now this calls for that move industry to move out and they've done it before Louisiana got the tax incentives and incentives might override the incentive may go away or maybe the incentive is what happens. By the way to that is the concern is that what happened was Louisiana said we can't take this anymore infrastructure is not there to keep giving them unlimited. Essentially no taxes. So what's the impact of all of this at the end of the day. If this goes that guns are not playing long table talk about the politics in a minute but the mean economically well economically.

People in Atlanta could be in for some tough times but it's also very likely that these boycotts this irrespective of the economic impact will backfire because the whole Jim Crow woke culture narrative is largely fictional, so it's important to note that 70% of African-American voters support.

For instance, voter identification laws in order to support voter integrity. After all, they recognize it was the Democrats who invented voter suppression. After all, it was the Democrats that expanded the poll tax. After all, it was the Democrats that gave us separate but equal. So I think African-Americans may have some memory of the participation by the Democratic Party in suppressing the franchise with respect to African-Americans and so I think at the end of the day over a period of time more and more African-American voters are going to recognize that this whole narrative is fictional and it is designed to drive power politics. You also have HR one pending right brain and the Senate version of that. So Jordan think that means one for Jordan Penn speak to this because that also is kind of an overlay in all of this yeah absolutely that the overlay is at the federal government is trying come in and override any of the states laws or try to input the states laws in jeopardy and fan that is that is key in Washington is they want the federal takeover of election laws its constitutions very clear about that.

They at least want to try very clear Jordan anything about the conversation he had just a few minutes ago about more than half of states having these voter ID laws they chose, and that that works best for their population. If HR one and its companion S1 were enacted into law. Jordan, all of those state laws on voter ID would be wiped away because will be the federal government that would be setting that standard. And when it comes to the issue of identification of the law are that the bill specifically says that you would allow sworn statements.

Jordan sworn statements to be put in the place of a voter ID so if a voter is planning to break the law and vote as someone that they are not all they have to do is swear to you Jordan that they are telling the truth.

That's what HR one and SOS. One would stipulate, so I what's the status of those it has passed the house. It is in the Senate, and J.

This ties directly into the conversation we had many times about the cloture motion about the filibuster they are trying to get Joe mansion to modify his stance on the filibusters so that they can move S1 this bill through the United States Senate. He said he sounds good to me sounds wobbly. Yeah, absolutely. I mean that this is again is another one of those moments where you have to see this filibuster remain Joe Biden said he wants to build up you once laws to be rejected first.

This should be what could be one of those that then is the kind of building point to get to the remover removal of the filibuster, saying they say that you might want to remove it. For purposes of voting rights only try to limit its removal because they know that they're so close to losing the majority in the Senate that they would flip it with easily benefit Republicans to be able just stop any kind of move by any kind of move by Biden, but also pass any legislation want. So when you become a better less they will take your comments on Facebook or on YouTube. I really get the minutes as many platforms also take your calls at 1-800-684-3110 800-684-3110. I just didn't want you to lose that because that was a new development now. We write we got some interesting comments coming in on Facebook and YouTube and I like the subject, and YouTube. She writes IDs are free in Georgia.

How can they claim this restricts voters they can't. But what happens is this false that they made a big deal about water that making this whole thing of denying water and in Georgia for voters which end up not being true and then Joe Biden saying the hours are restricted. Not only was that not true. They were expanded but there more broader and more accessible than his home state of Delaware. I to gets his may be in the 40 states that he considers restrictive then Chuck Schumer wants the voting of the All-Star game moved to New York where they have less early voting dates than they do in Georgia so there is a Georgia animus here is what this is. Yeah I think so. I think Georgia takes on the brunt of a lot of these things just to the fact that there George.

This is true that me look in.

Is there a checkered past Georgia sure.

I think logically looking look at the history of it and go yeah there's obviously things that happen in all states that have issues. Georgia gets love to know this, because again it isn't an odd state not state the first time about a blue but really if you look at it. Just as a map, you can just see the little blue dots that exist within Georgia to have all of these issues and again like you said there there is a lot of misinformation going on about these even talk about this one.

Let's try to break this down.

It's not that simple to break down what really the argument that maybe the weirdest part of all this, you can easily see the other side you go okay since what we what we talking about here. It is not situation.

The disproportionate impact of all of this and that's what I'm trying to look at here is the impact that has economically thought about the impact it has on voting in Georgia, for instance, if you're a Democrat thinking, hey we got to Georgia Senators Wright is the governor's race and less than two years.

How second shakeout and got a demographic shift in Georgia that a lot of it because the movie industry coming.

It seems that a much more diverse: a lot of the Hollywood guys been quite likely that a lot, but now let's destroy those industries that have been built up and created an economy that's what it sounds like the plan is here, which is really insane. Well, I think it is. But Democrats are and politicians in general are not well known for their ability to think long term and so it's very likely that over the long term. A boycott of a glamour will backfire against the very interest that are supporting the boycott and so is using a fictional narrative claiming voter suppression when Democrats obviously were able to get out and vote in the last election and they claim to specifics in the United States Senate. They seem to ignore the actual history of voting in Georgia. I think that's exactly right. Let's go ahead and take phone calls, one 800 684 31 Thomas take other common center, dance coming from Ohio online. One hey Dan, my call is to state the right to make their election laws and the Constitution in order to do what they're trying to do in HR one. This is the issue is that voting laws have been left up to the states, but there's been voting rights acts of the federal government has got involved for sometimes a Supreme Court stepped and said okay that's no longer necessary to apply that law, but certainly there has been a federal role that's been asserted before by Congress and the Supreme Court has accepted no question about it Jordan, I think the callers corrected.

This would definitely end up in litigation. One thing I would tell him know is this is not an issue where the federal government is trying to come in and regulate some portion of election law that states haven't decided on your this is a full takeover so this is then taking over areas that states have well-regulated statute on I have no doubt that would be litigated. We would be involved in that. Those are the and tell people what would be at stake here. If HR wanted SR one order come all whole line of things during the federal government would take over registration there would be automatic registration. Every state would be forced to do mail in balloting where all the ballots are sent out to answer the voters date how many states did we see problems on that in 2022 should take those states had problems on and multiply it times 50 states you would have public funding of elections day so if I donated $20 to Jordan's campaign for federal office. You and other taxpayers would have to multiply that by six and also donate to him and Jay want one thing we talked about on this broadcast. It's also in there is the repeal of the Lois Lerner rule which is something that we advocated for very vociferously.

It would give the IRS again. The ability to target organizations based on their political before state that scratching the surface on the docks in the henhouse. But let's also talk about voter integrity not know the idea of women elections clause in the United States Constitution and electors clause I would think both of those would be a plate. The way that if this bill becomes law.

I think that's correct, but I also think that the Democrats see this law as a possible insurance program which will allow them to control the federal government and the state governments eventually for the next 10, 20, 30 year so I think that's their objective. I secondarily I would point out that a recent study of Montana absentee voting found that there were irregularities with respect to 1/14 balance that's virtually 7% of the votes, and that could sway an election in virtually any particular state.

Again, I think what you have to realize here is there is a push by the left to radically change our election laws and any attempts to secure the election so that we do not have a repeat of the previous election, where people have such doubt on either side about whether their votes were counted about whether wrong votes were counted and so these states are stepping up now.

I wish it was 40 states were doing so, but Joe Biden is wrong on that.

There are some states doing so like Georgia. Georgia is probably the biggest when it comes to having the financial incentives that may may be increased in euro increase to a backlash.

So what will it need well I think one thing is the big question is any of these companies actually do anything. The changes Georgia was a one time, yes it's bad to hundred million dollars Gloucester County but over time that can be overcome, or is this the beginning. I'm more concerned this is the beginning were starting to see this more often to see this headline continually. That's very dangerous if we need to support e LJ another matching child's month is March month of April, March, April supports ACLJ donate today I will talk tomorrow at the American Center for on critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family.
