Welcome to Sekulow. Phone lines are open for you at 1-800-684-3110. Of course, we are talking about Election Night in America that was over. I don't know, around 7:45. I think it was pretty quick.
Elections were being called. I don't say the results were shocking in the sense of who won. I think those were not necessarily predetermined, but we all talked about them. It seemed like the elections went the way they were going to go.
However, Will brought up the percentage and the percentiles of those votes are very different than even just the winners and losers.
So we're going to talk about that. Obviously, the big one, New York City mayor, very quickly called for Mamdani. Still, look, almost 50%. Voted against him in the state, just when you break down Cuomo and Sliwa.
However, I still don't think it was enough to necessarily get him over. It would have mattered either way. It would not have because he got 50.4% of the vote.
So he did get over that 50% threshold. Even if every other independent candidate and every other vote and then the 3,000 people that voted for Eric Adams still coalesced, it would not have gotten another candidate over that margin of victory to win.
So it was a resounding victory for him in the sense that there was no questions. You can't point to it and say the three-way race with Sliwa and Cuomo really changed the outcome of that race. Hannity said last night, I agree with him, Sean Hannity, he said, you know, if anyone saw the. Uh the the Pre-election. Where am I looking up here?
Pre-show coverage? Pre-show coverage of tailgate. No, no, no, no, no. Look at me. When the nominations, when they were going for the Democratic nominations.
Seeing the preceding primary. That was the word I was looking for. Look, guys, okay, this is a hoodie day. This has been a rough night. During the primaries, if you saw how much Modami beat the other candidates, this should not be a shock to anyone.
And it's not a shock to me that he won. Here's where it's obviously going to play out: you have a lot of Republicans who are really pushing for him to fail. I'm not one of those people. I understand their points and they want to say, hey, let's show that socialism is not going to work here. I think a lot of his big plans, he's not going to be able to get done.
We know this. He's not going to be able to get that pushed himself.
So what can he do?
Well, New York is in a pretty bad spot.
So, if he can clean up even something like the homeless crisis that's happening in New York, he's going to be a successful mayor. Here's what I say always: whether it's Republican or Democrat, whoever, this is the person that's elected. This is one of our biggest cities in the world. This is the global economy that is centered in this city. I pray for him.
I hope he does well. I hope he serves his people well. I hope he serves America well. I'm not holding my breath, but I don't wish him any ill will. I do hope we see a thriving New York City.
Now, maybe one of the more interesting things was not that a Democrat won New York. It is if we look at the other elections that were happening well and how. Again, not necessarily the results were that shocking, but by how big? Right.
Well, because these were touted as close races in New Jersey, where Jack Cittarelli was kind of insurgent against Mickey Cheryl, where they thought that this could be an opportunity, especially if the margin of vote was similar to what it was in the Presidential election, then we would see maybe an upset here. Instead, the Democrat won by 13%.
So even the polling that had it showing within 10, within 5 was way off in the actual vote count. And there's a lot more and a lot to get into, especially in Virginia. And also what President Trump is saying about this election night. We've got sound on that and some opinion and some analysis about that that we'll be getting to in the next segment. That's right.

Because guess what? He's the mayor. There's not really anything we can do about that now. He won fair and square.
So guess what? We got to live with that. And instead of wanting to curse New York and say everyone needs to leave, which of course a lot of people will because we know we're going to see some higher market taxes, he wants taxes to go up significantly and wants to have corporate tax similar to what goes on in New Jersey. New Jersey is one of the highest in the country. I know that that is his push.
I'm not saying I agree. And I believe what I said last night was I don't think I agree with him on anything.
However, I wish him well. I do hope he does well. There are things in New York City that I believe could be cleaned up, even if you have someone from a bipartisan point of view who could go in there and fix even the crises that we're seeing, the humanitarian crisis that are on there. Those should blur lines. That doesn't have to do with whether you're a socialist or not a socialist.
I'm not cheering on socialism. I am hoping for a better day for New York City.
Now, I will say to someone who's going to New York City pretty soon, you know what he could do? Lower the price of tickets to Broadway.
Well, they've skyrocketed. Yeah, they're not the most high. It's the highest profit ever. I had to wait and wait and wait for ticket prices to drop. I mean, straight up, this is honest.
This just shows you where that city is, kind of a mess. If you wanted to go see. Um the Harry Potter musical. Right now. Which has uh you know you know it's been around for a while.
Right.
or Hamilton. Standard price ticket. Standard, not secondary. $800 a ticket. I think this is your elitism showing, Logan.
I know, but I'm saying that on the other side of this, you're begging for. Free everything. Right.
But you're like, but tourists can come in and spend. More money than they've made in a year trying to take their kids to a Harry Potter musical. It does show you this really big difference that happens in New York City. There's a big difference what happens on Fifth Avenue and what happens everywhere. Do you want to pay your mortgage or go see a Broadway play?

Some people are saying they know what I meant. You know, that's what I'm saying. I just wanted you to clarify. I like clarification. I do.
Later in the show, like I said, we're going to be talking to CeCe High. We're going to talk about what's going on in Nigeria. There's been some updates there. And again, Jordan's going to be joining us from an event he is doing at CPAC right now. But I know we want to hear from President Trump about this as well because President Trump weighed in on the election results last night.
Now, what's interesting is a lot of people are saying, I was watching all the coverage, you know, this is a referendum on President Trump. I do kind of look at President Trump and go, does he care? Does he go? You know what? I won.
I'm term limited. I'm not really a Republican or Democrat at this point. I am my own thing. I am Donald Trump, and I'm out in two years.
So, you know what? I'm going to do still what I want to do. I feel like it's probably more where he leads, but let's hear from President Trump. Last night it was not expected to be a victory. It was very Democrat areas, but I don't think it was good for Republicans.
I don't think it was good. I'm not sure it was good for anybody. But we had uh An interesting evening and we learned a lot. Interesting evening, learned a lot. I think one of the things you also learned, especially in New York City, is how about we run some candidates people want to vote for.
You've ran a Republican who no one really wanted to vote for, seemed like a good guy, but was a bit more too old school. And then you ran Andrew Cuomo, who again, I think would have done a good job as mayor. But comes with so much baggage, including that baggage from President Trump saying how horrible this guy was for many, many years. That's not going to help out.
Now, it is the, this is one. There's, if you could look at the one positive sign, it was the largest independent vote. Vote for an independent candidate, I believe, in American, like the last, since really the two-party system, the most people voted for an independent candidate. That is pretty wild. to think about in terms of just pure numbers.
And maybe. That is a good sign towards a referendum on the two parties.
Well, and when you look at also that race, that was the most amount of ballots cast for a mayoral election in New York since 1969. two million ballots were cast for the mayoral race. That is, as I said, I mean, what, almost seventy five years. We're looking at a very long time since that many votes were cast. in a mayoral election.
So it was a huge turnout that is reflective in both votes for an independent candidate as well as the win for Mdami. And then you look, though, across the board, and what President Trump was getting at is that we learned a lot. He mentioned two things specifically: one was that. The government shut down. Clearly, Republicans are being blamed for.
And he also said: a lot of people have said that my name wasn't on the ballot.
Now, that is probably. Probably will not be again, we can assume.
So, yes. Republicans and conservatives need to figure out the way forward. And if there's. A dismissiveness. About the victory of someone like Mamdani in New York, of just like, that's a socialist, whatever, and there's not a real urge to.
coalesce and combat things like that. You're not going to learn a lesson, and the midterms are going to be dire. Even though we look at the Democrat Party and we say there's no. Unity, no leadership. They're not going to be able to get anything done.
And you take that for granted. It's going to be the one-off candidates, it's going to be the swing districts. That are going to flip, and that is going to lead to a flip in the House of Representatives.
So, you also look at a place like Virginia. Where It got close at times and then it got spread apart as far as the polling. It was kind of all over the map. But. Spanberger ended up winning by 40.
Fourteen point six percent.
So that was not even remotely close. And they have an incumbent governor that's a Republican, and the lieutenant governor, incumbent. was blown out of the water. by the Democrat who won that election last night. That coupled with The fact that Jay Jones the Attorney General, elect now of Virginia.
One by six percent.
So even though He had all that Terrible stuff. About wanting to kill a political opponent or wishing harm on a political opponent and the children of that political opponent, not 25 years ago or when he was in high school and posted it on Twitter, but just a couple years ago. He still won by six percent of the vote.
Now, I think a lot of that, you can look to Virginia and say, what do they have a lot of? federal workers. What is going on right now? As of today, the longest government shutdown in American history. And wow.
We know the truth that it's the obstructionist Democrats in the Senate that will not let it go through. I think this does tell us. But the voting public Is currently blaming Republicans more than they are Democrats, especially in a state like Virginia. Let's say, at least in those areas. And you try to have conversations with people.
And of course, a lot of this falls in party lines and the media you decide to consume. And that media will tell you one way or the other. And you have a lot of people go, oh, I didn't know that. Maybe I need to go take a look at what you're talking about here because Will's right. It is that.
I also think you have a state like New Jersey, it's got some big ports, some of the biggest ports in the country, dealing with the tariff situation. These are economic decisions. These are where those decisions do start to impact where you vote because they're talking about actual people's dollars and cents, human beings that are dealing with it, not just our global fight against China or whatever it may be. You are talking about a tariff battle that maybe we're not hearing a lot about as much anymore, but still affecting human beings. It's affecting human beings in particularly these states.
And I'd say New Jersey is one of the big ones there. New Jersey? You also think Virginia? Because of Norfolk, huge port there. obviously New York.
These are states that are affected heavily by things like tariffs. You also then look to California. Because we talked about Prop 50. This is where Gavin Newsom tried to subvert. California law by putting a ballot initiative to put aside their independent districting committee within California, which is there by law because they took it away from the leadership of the government and put it in this quasi-independent board that decides it.
Prop 51 last night by 27.6%. And that is even with a lot of Democrats publicly and polls saying, no, I like the independent board we have. It still got 63.8% yes on Governor Davin Newsom's plan to have a one-off redistricting to combat President Trump. Yeah, that was the one that was, I'd say, purely Trump adjacent. And as well, you also know that's 2028 adjacent because this was a big victory for Gavin Newsom.
as he makes his push to the White House in 2028. If he failed at this? He is way set back when it comes to running for President.
Now he's got the wind at his back. And he's going to think that he has a mandate and an agenda to move forward and change the country into Gavin Newsom's image. That's right. Hey, phone lines are open for you at 1-800-684-3110. That is 1-800-684-3110.

Remember, President Trump announced his run for re-election. In November of 2022, A full two years out. Of course, that would take us to just November of next year. When we would start hearing not just rumblings, but full-blown announcements. That being said, the ACLJ isn't going anywhere, and we're going to really divert a little bit here in the next segment because I think it's important to, you know, we got to talk about the news of the day, what's happening, how it's going to impact you, and all of that.

Phone lines are jammed right now. We got one open, actually, one in 1006843110. I want to bring in CeCe Heil, senior counsel here at the ACLJ, to give you a bit of an update. Obviously, our eyes were on the election last night across the country. But now We are looking towards what's happening in Nigeria.
And there's an update there, and I want to give you an opportunity to share that. Sure. We're all still very much celebrating the fact that President Trump put Nigeria back on the countries of particular concern list. For their persecution of Christians. And like we've talked about, you know, for this past week, Nigeria has more Christians killed for their faith than all of the other countries combined where Christians are killed for their faith.
And so it was very important for Nigeria to be put back on this list. And in fact, it's about 32 people, an average of 32 Christians a day that are killed for their faith. But I did want to give an update because we have contacts directly on the ground there. And I wanted to just encourage all of our listeners to keep praying for Nigeria because, yes, you know, putting Nigeria back on the CPC list was great. And in fact, on Monday, got a text that hallelujah, just to let you know, 24 Christians were freed in southern Kaduna.
A military ambush amidst an exchange of open shooting rescued 24 kidnapped believers, but three victims and four soldiers were killed. We are grateful for the saved, mourning the loss. Amidst escalating violence, we urge you to keep praying for our team. And the displaced victims. And so, what is happening, and what our people on the ground right there are telling us, is that a lot of these terrorists now, I think, are digging in.
And it's not, even though, yes, the Nigerian military is now being more engaged and they have actually taken some action. Christians are still being killed. The rescue team that we're in touch with is still on the ground there. And actually, it seems like the efforts, the terrorist efforts, are escalating almost like to see how many people they can kill before maybe they're kind of pushed out of this area. And when you look at also the complexity of the situation in Nigeria, because it is the government itself is not the one being the persecutor.
They are not going in and conducting this genocide against Christians. It is Boko Haram and the terrorist groups and the ISIS-affiliated groups.
However, The Nigerian government hasn't necessarily had the will to save the people of Nigeria, whether it be they don't want to have losses in their military. They have things they consider more important or more strategic areas. But that's where the pressure to put on the Nigerian government to then take on these terrorists is what the country of particular concern designation can help with.
However, it's not as if that designation then is an immediate direct effect on the persecution because the government, it's not like those being persecuted just stop. In this case, Boko Haram and the terrorists, the jihadists, will, as you're saying, it appears, try to do more before they are stopped. Yes.
So that's also where our other work comes in as well, because we worked very hard in the United States. But as we said the other day, we've been. Working on this issue of persecution in Nigeria for the past 15 years. This is some of the stuff that you started working on when you first came on at ACLJ as senior counsel to take on this international role and to help fight against this persecution. But this work at the UN that we do, that's the other factor.
When you put pressure on other countries that give aid to Nigeria, that are partners with Nigeria, that may just be trade partners and things of that nature. The work at the UN is just as important as the work we can do here. And we've been able to get victories here, but our work at the UN continues. Absolutely. And just like you said, I mean, even though it's not the government that is doing the persecution, they are absolutely complicit in it because they allow it to happen.
And when you have the Fulani herdsmen attacking the Christians and Boko Haram attacking the Christians, the Nigerian government has traditionally said, hey, this is not really just an attack against Christians. This is more, you know, tribal, and it's not as the United States is declaring that it is.
However, again, on the ground, we have our sources. Everyone there knows it is a direct attack on Christians to wipe out Christianity from this Islamic terrorism side.
So, what we do at the UN is very important because we're able to say the same thing to the international bodies that we say and update the United States with: that this is absolutely an attack against Christians. It's an attack by Islamic extremists to totally wipe out Christianity. Nigeria is basically 50-50 Muslim, Christian. The North is majority Muslim. The South is majority Christian.
This is happening in the North, where Christians live as the minority in the North. And so, again, It is very clear that Nigeria needs to step in and protect their Christians. And I think the CPC designation has helped that. I think every time we go to the UN and every time I'm before the Human Rights Council and doing oral interventions and written submissions, we keep bringing this forth: that Nigeria is absolutely killing Christians at a rate that is not acceptable because any rate is not acceptable, but they are the major place, country, that kills Christians. 50% of Christians that are waiting for their faith.
Right.
Are killed in Nigeria? Yes.
And one other thing that you brought up was that the government. We'll try to downplay it as though it's tribal fighting, skirmishes. That's actually a playbook that we see all over the world. Whenever we see Christians specifically targeted for their faith, the government, when they don't want to step in, when they don't want to do their job to protect They're minority citizens, or in some cases, the majority citizens, but because it's religious-based, they try to play this card of it's just tribal warfare. It's not really nothing.
I mean, it's been going on thousands of years. There's not much we can do. They try to play this card to wash their hands of it, absolve them of their responsibility to take care of their citizens. And that is another thing that we consistently at the ACLJ point out on the global stage to not let these governments get away with that. Right.
In fact, I think you've heard statements now from Nigeria, even in response to Trump's putting Nigeria back on the CPC: is, no, no, you're getting this wrong. It's land grabs. It's tribal. It's not Christian persecution. And again, we are not getting this wrong.
We have the facts on our side.
So we just keep pushing the facts, telling the truth. And we've seen success. Like you said, we have literally been doing this since 2010. December of 2010 was, I think, one of the first attacks we brought to the European Union before their eyes in January of 2010. 2011.
And so we've been fighting for this, and that shows you the ACLJ, we will not stop fighting until we see justice. And with the CPC designation, I think we're on that path. Thank you, CC, so much for doing that. The team of the ACLJ, I mean, when you hear about this, I mean, we're going to talk about, like I said, the news of the day, you're going to get that on this show. But the primary focus on this show, the reason why our broadcasts even exist, the reason it was founded.

Of course, we're talking about not only the work of the ACLJ, but the big news that came out of last night, which is, of course, the election results not being, or actually, I think the results, the final results being as expected, as you saw a pretty strong Democratic sweep, including in the New York mayoral race, as Mom Donnie has taken the day as expected. But we even see President Trump coming out saying it wasn't good. It wasn't good for Republicans. We need to make sure that we're coalesced, get back together.
People want to see that.
So, again, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that. We got a lot of phone calls coming in about it. And then the next segment or the next two segments, one of them, we're going to hear from Jordan, who is live, my brother, Jordan, executive director here at the ACLJ, live at Mar-a-Lago at an event for CPAC. You know, I think when you have Christian values, you have conservative values, you want to make sure that they're represented in the world of politics as well. And of course, we look at what's happening in California, that election that happened where they said, hey, we are going to redistrict and really make this a referendum against President Trump at the same time.
The ACLJ. Is taking on a major Supreme Court case against Gavin Newsom's state of California, who is still trying to collect fines. of millions of dollars against who? Churches in the area. This one's specifically a Calvary Chapel.
They had worship services during the pandemic, and we are just weeks away from a Supreme Court deadline where we will be taking on directly. Because, again, we're not talking about 2020 here. What is going on in the left in America? This is his comments at the victory rally. For uh Mom Dani last night. Let's go ahead and play this byte one. What do you think it means that this guy ran as a socialist and anti-communism didn't work to stop him?
That's good. Yeah, I think we are in the heart of the Imperial Corps. This is a country that defeated the USSR unfortunately. And the reality of the matter is, there's a lot of antagonism. There's no class consciousness in the United States of America.
It's one of the things I try to address every day with my commentary. Yeah, you heard that right. I have to play it back myself. He goes, hey, this is the country that defeated the USSR. Unfortunately.
They are so clueless to what they're living in. Even people I think that would probably consider themselves socialists understand the negative side of the USSR. The failed experiment of the USSR. And that is the problem, though. And that's why I don't want to just say we need to dismiss this.
These are his supporters. We don't just need to dismiss this. We need to educate. We need to have more speech. That is the beauty of the First Amendment in America, is that we can showcase a better way.
Because right now you have Twitch streamers, and Mom Dani, who was on social media, got 80%. of the young people vote in New York. If we aren't able To combat that with the truth? with uh facts about Economics and things of that nature about the USSR. I mean, that's what we're having to now combat with the truth.
And you can't just be dismissive of it or say, good riddance, New York. You have to be engaged, or else more Mamdanis are going to win around the country. All right, Will's right. No, we're just connecting here via cell phone, but it is what it is. We wanted to get a live shot there so you can see what he's up to. Jordan, why are you there?
So we are back with Seatback again. Last week, we had the summit to end Christian persecution, focusing on getting Nigeria on the CPC list. And of course, on Friday, after the summit, after the meetings at the White House, after work by the ACLJ since 2011, but since the beginning of the Trump administration to reverse what the Biden administration did, President Trump put. Nigeria back on the CPC and we're back with CPAC. We're here at Mar-a-Lago to talk to CPAC supporters that will be supporting this new effort to increase that the ACLJ is partnering with CPAC about.
So I'm coming down to actually talk about what we did just last week in Washington with this new effort to fight Christian persecution around the world together with CPAC and what we plan to do in the future. Jordan, I know you just got done speaking on a panel, which is great that you're able to join us. But when you also take a look and listen at the people that you're meeting with, that you're speaking with, we know for our audience, for the ACLJ donor, that Christian persecution worldwide has been something that they have been very in touch with and been focusing on and wanting us to continue the fight. But it's not necessarily been a mainstream, broad issue, but we're starting to see that change. And what are you hearing from the people at CPAC, both last week and this weekend, as you're in the room about this issue and how we can really bring it to the forefront to end persecution?
First, you tell the stories of persecution, where it's worse. What can be done in each place? Each place is a little different.
Some things can be done quickly.
Some things will take a longer effort. But I think that's why we joined this coalition. Will exactly what you said. We know our supporters care deeply about this issue of Christian persecution worldwide. They know how difficult it is, whether we're talking about individuals or whether we are talking about entire groups like a place like Nigeria.
But we know that we've got to take this message to the broader conservative audience. but also the broader Christian audience in America. And a lot of this will hub out of the United States because we had that freedom to kind of be that hub. Or the other organizations that are joining us, like ECLJ, who are in Europe and places that aren't always as friendly, but they can still do a lot and have done a lot. to fight for those who are truly being persecuted.
When we talk about persecution, Will, we're talking about taking of lives. We're talking about the fact that 32 people today will be killed in Nigeria because they're a Christian.
So while we're speaking, more than half of that number, already their life has been lost. That's just the average number in Nigeria. That's a normal day. And then, of course, you look at the persecution we see all throughout the Congo. We've talked about these issues.
Each one takes a unique approach. When you put these groups together, we all have a lot of pull with this current government in the United States, with the White House. We're here at Mar-a-Lago having this summit. That says a lot right there. And then also with our leadership in the House, Speaker Johnson, and of course, Leader Thune.
So we have a unique moment as organizations to come together and do a lot to end this persecution. Jordan, I did want to get your thoughts also. Obviously, it was a big night last night. I guess big is relative in terms of good or bad from it. But what are the thoughts on the ground there at CPAC about the election?
Obviously, that happened throughout the country. There's massive sweeping. Obviously, Democrats taking most of it. Is there any thoughts or conversations happening there about, well, what do we do over the next couple of years to course correct?
Well, I think we know New York is difficult. New Jersey is difficult. We know that those are tough places to go. But at the same time, and Virginia usually flips back and forth. We have to make sure, again, that I think it's very key.
Very key that we don't get discouraged. These were tough places to win. And though New York, it went extreme, especially with Mundami, extreme to this Democrat socialist, there's that much fight to do in New York City. Virginia kind of goes back and forth. We see this pretty often there, but it's now a place we need to put more resources as a conservative movement.
And New Jersey, we've been close a couple times. We've won a couple times, but it's not an easy one for Republicans either.
So I wouldn't get too disheartened. It wasn't like we were losing in states we were supposed to win. It was just the polls that tightened and didn't get the Republicans over the line. Yep. All right.
Willie, got something here? I think he covered that. He covered a lot of it. Right now, I don't need to let you go because you're obviously spending a lot of time there, and we know there's a lot coming up next, but you'll be back in the studio though to give everybody an update soon. Look, I told our audience here earlier that this was, even though you're there in Florida right now at CPAC, this is just another part of the expansion of our Washington, D.C.

So, I have a couple of comments about yesterday, which Some up The direction of the way the election went in California. Um our direction was to um vote. or result in no on 50. What had happened was even some or action. angry either adults or younger people.
Um one incident in putting up signs um Two incidences where we actually saw younger people come remove the signs. Tear them in half throw them. the trash and had a few select words to say. Neighborhood, one neighbor had a sign which was very derogatory to me, my grandchildren, and my daughter. And what it said was it had yes.
On Underneath that it had a four-letter word above our President's name. I think I can't tell you how match this appealed to certain people. we did yesterday what was Explore the different places people were going to vote. Wrapping around the building. And in our independent poll.
that we took concerned citizens interested in Yeah. people had to say most of the comments were voting no.
So that was great.
So no matter where we went. It was three different Places to vote. in person, they were all no for 50. We actually scheduled a whole bunch of people to watch the Dropbox.
so we wouldn't have any shenanigans going on there. We followed the persons that picked up the ballots to the election center in Ventura Government Center and Major. arrived without excess baggage. to accompany them. When the results were posted on It's official.
Yes, On 50 had won. We knew they didn't have time to count because we stood there and watched every single person. Sue, I think I'm only cutting you off because we're running out of time, and I appreciate you calling in. What I think people don't understand, and maybe they do understand it, but it's really hard to kind of picture because you imagine such a blue state of California, or you imagine such a red state of here in Tennessee, that you have a lot, especially in a state like California, where there are so many people, or even in New York. There is almost 50% of the people that are voting Republican each time.
that are Conservative voters. They exist. Our biggest support group for the ACLJ, it flip-flops between California and Texas. Texas, you'd probably go, okay, that makes sense. But California, Southern California, has a a really giant Christian conservative group.
Who don't want to see stuff happen to their state? But what appealed, as Sue said, what did appeal to this? People did not vote. For redistricting, they voted as a repeal against President Trump. They vote, that's what the side said that she was saying.
Exactly, smart marketing, if you will, because they knew that's how they could rally people up. It wasn't a vote, it was a vote against President Trump. It wasn't a vote for redistricting. They probably don't even know how that all works. Let's just be honest.
It's probably just a vote against President Trump. And we've seen some of these crazy districts in Illinois and other places that it looks absurd when you've had this. It is done in a way that is unfortunate. I don't think the Republicans or the Democrats should be playing this game because this is how the tables get turned.
Okay, we got to be careful. I always say that, you know, you never know when you start making these outlandish things, you start doing things that you feel are right just because you get the votes, that it could come and bite you. Gentlemen, just thinking about all this that's been going on, especially with accumulating in Last Night, I kind of want to try and quote from what Pat Robertson said a few administrations ago where he said apparently people were voting for their stomachs. And then move to my question. Do you think after last night we'll have a real life enactment of the movie Escape from New York? Bill, I'd be here. I sadly do think you will have a lot of people.
I mean, a lot of people have moved out of New York already. I mean, that's no shock. I mean, everyone knows this. I do think, yeah, if you're a realtor in Tennessee, if you're a realtor in Florida, get ready for a big move. A lot of that happened even during COVID.
You know, a lot of it happened during these times where we saw these states appeal to a lot of New Yorkers because, number one, obviously financially, but even just for safety and security.
So, Bill, unfortunately, I do think you're probably right. We will see a lot of people fleeing New York. Um, I hate that again. It's one of my favorite cities in the world, but I think that this could go one way or the other. Either somehow, Mamdami pulls this off and becomes this, you know, Obama-like figure for New York, where he's charismatic and he ends up his political career grows and grows and grows, and he creates a movement across the country, which, hopefully, based on his beliefs, we hope not.
Or it is a massive disaster. And hopefully that's a referendum from New York to wake up. Um you think New York would have already gotten there? Where they would have woken up. But sadly, they also ran candidates who were not Not the best against him.
Well, and when you also look at what he was targeting with social media and with the way he went to the young people, he was focusing on affordability.
Now, Ideologically. Practically The solutions that he wants to offer for affordability.
Well, only make things more unaffordable. That's basic economics. And for some reason, many Americans and young people in this country don't understand the way that basic economics work.
However, He was targeting an issue. That many New Yorkers, many people across the country really care about affordability. Part of the reason why Biden and Harris did so poorly was because of affordability, because of the skyrocketing inflation.
So it can't be lost on anyone and should not be lost on the Republican Party that affordability was an issue and continues to be an issue. I think a second thing, the most shocking race to me last night was that attorney general candidate. of Virginia, who still won by six points, and the rhetoric he said. That tells you. that no matter what Democrats are willing to vote for Poor people who are Violent in their rhetoric, not just alluding to Hitler and fascism and threat to democracy, but Actually.
saying things That discussed Killing of the children of a political opponent. And you may think an attorney general of the Commonwealth of Virginia doesn't affect me. We've had Attorney General J.B. McCuskey from West Virginia on here many times. We talk about the importance of those roles and what they can do against the administration through lawsuits.
They're trying to get injunctions. They have a lot of power. And so that is something we have to watch out for. This is someone. Who violent rhetoric is now the top law enforcement official of a large state?

Now a series of elections where The uh ballots Yeah. Completely inaccurate. Names that had of people who had already um left the or or were not eligible anyway to in one way or another. to be on the ballot. Still included on the ballot.
Right.
And Lynette, a lot of that has to do. I hate to cut you off. I'm trying to get as many calls as I can. You asked why people are still on that ballot. A lot of it has to do with the way their structure is, a lot of their business wrapping up their campaign.
A lot of it's deadlines. And they made the deadline. They've already printed the ballots and then you drop out of the race. You still registered to be on the ballot. But a lot of them technically are still running, even if they have their election is suspended.
Because a lot of it's financially wrapping everything up. Bottom line with that, though. It doesn't matter the ballots. He got 50.4%. You can add up every single vote and he still got more.

Yes, I wonder if there is any law in the Constitution that prohibits illegals from voting. where no documentation of citizenship Requirements are obviously the voter ID stuff has become a real big hot-button issue.
Well, I mean, yes, it's illegal to vote in federal elections. Yeah, but states states have done different things in some ways.
Some of those have actually been overturned by courts, but some municipalities allow people that are undocumented to vote in their elections. I forget where New York is on it, but that is the reason. They don't make it hard to vote for that. Is that the reason, though? And once again, if we think that it was voter fraud that got Mamdani elected, then that is not how you're going to be able to reorganize and face what is coming, even though the Democrat Party is not organized.
Look, I'd be curious if you're not going to be able to do that. You bring up Twitch. How many of our audience goes, what? You know, like, what are we talking about here? Because Momdami was appealing to young people, he was appealing to young men.
