The current events unfolding in the Middle East, particularly the conflict between Iran and Israel, are being examined in the light of Bible prophecy. The rapture of the church and the tribulation period are discussed, as well as the role of the Antichrist and the end times. The future salvation of Israel is also explored, with a focus on the biblical promise that all Israel will be saved.

Welcome to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr. Along with my brother Rick, we examine current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Rick, often people experience anxiety when they think about the future.

However, it doesn't have to be that way. For those who know God and his thoughts of the future bring eagerness and comfort. For example, describing a woman who knows and trusts God, which is Proverbs 31:25, she smiles at the future. That's right, Jimmy. And we look at it, we're like the watchman on the wall who in ancient times would have looked for the enemy's arrival and they would blow the trumpets to warn of the approach where we are looking for the signs that the Bible tells us of what's going to take place in the end times.

We see those things happening. It gives us confidence and assurance about the future. Our program, we look at current events and we look at the practical aspect of how we are to live today according to God's word. Our broadcast partners today, Ken Timmerman, David Dolan. Itamar Marcus with Palwatch.org, Paul Scharf, R.

C. Murle, and of course, the Legacy Series with Dr. Jimmy D. Young. Rick, we've got a lot to cover today, so let's get started with our first, Ken Timmerman.

Well, that's right, Jimmy. I have Ken Timmerman with us. He's our expert in geopolitical affairs. He's an author and an analyst. You can find out more about him by going to his website at kentimmerman.com.

Ken, thanks for being with us today. Thanks for having me on, Rick. It's always a blessing.

Well, Ken, not a lot of news coming out of Iran. We don't really know what's going on in there. What's your assessment of the situation in the Middle East conflict between the United States and Iran?

Well, I think we're reaching a point of a kind of standoff, Rick. The negotiations that the President Trump would like to continue don't seem to be going anywhere. And inside Iran, those voices who would like to negotiate with the United States, like Pozheshkin, the president, and others around him, they are increasingly marginalized by the hardliners, the irredentist faction inside the Revolutionary Guard, who would like to continue the war until they run out of, I don't know, Palestinians or Syrians or Houthis to fight it for them. Look, I think we're getting to the point. You know, I've been saying repeatedly, this is a five-act Shakespearean drama.

And I thought when the president had warned 10 days ago he was going to launch the big, big attack, I thought he was actually going to do it. That seems to have been put off. While there were negotiations earlier this week, but you have these kind of mosquito attacks by the Revolutionary Guards. They're trying to hit U.S. bases across the Middle East.

There's a report that they tried to attack water resources in Minnesota with a cyber attack. President Trump poo-pooed that. He said it was due to Governor Waltz's incompetence, but we don't know at this point. The Revolutionary Guards is making claims that it continues to attack tankers that try to pass through the Strait of Hormuz under a U.S. military air escort.

CENTCOM says that's not true.

So things seem to be at a standoff. I think there's a lot of diplomacy going on behind closed doors. Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, was in Washington on Tuesday, and he met at the Oval Office with President Trump. But remarkably, we heard nothing about that meeting.

So either it was a shouting match, which I doubt, or the two leaders. We're actually plotting Act V of this Shakespearean drama, and Act V is when the Iranian people rise up and toss out the regime.

Well can whether they want to admit it or not, Iran is struggling and they are reaching out to one of their allies, China, for help. We've seen lots of reports of this over the past several months, where China was sending, there were two ships carrying solid rocket fuel, sodium perchlorate, that apparently got through to Iran in April, I think it was. The U.S. blocked additional shipments, and President Trump, I think, berated his Chinese counterpart when he visited China after that. And, you know, she is coming to Washington late September.

I think the Chinese are going to be very careful about sending sensitive military supplies. There was a report from Reuters this week that China was sending shoulder-launched air defense missiles. And these are called man pads. They are very, very dangerous. They're like stingers.

They can knock an aircraft down about 4,000 meters up in the air. We used them with the Afghan Mujahideen during that war in the 1980s against the Soviet Union. We have never had them used against us as far as we know. Iranians were to get these shoulder-launched air defense missiles, they could knock down low-flying U.S. jets.

They could knock down civilian airliners, Rick. And that's, you know, I think been the biggest fear for decades that Stinger-type missiles could be used by terrorists to knock down civilian airliners. We have a number of unsolved airline crashes like TWA-800 and a couple of others. It's never been proved that these shoulder-launched missiles have been used, but it's a big fear. It's a fear inside the intelligence community.

It's a fear inside the law enforcement community. And if the Chinese are really sending those, I think that would be a huge red flag. And I cannot imagine the president not raising that with President Xi in September.

Well, Ken, as I mentioned before, despite what the regime is saying, there is a lot of pressure on them. Can you talk about the pressure they are facing internally and the possibilities of regime change?

Well, as I mentioned, this is what I call Act V of the Shakespearean drama. And last week, we actually had the foreign minister, one of those trying to negotiate with the United States, Abbas Arakshi, saying that in December, last year, when the protests began, this is a couple of weeks before that huge massacre on January 8th and 9th, he said that a national uprising had pushing for regime change, was again close to toppling the government in Mashhad, which is the second largest city in Iran.

So when you have top Iranian leaders talking about this, you know it's serious. You know there's a huge amount of foment just under the surface. We are not seeing it over here because of the internet cutoff, but there's factional fighting inside the regime, and there's also this huge, huge popular revolt. The Kurdish parties are coming together. Reza Pahlavi and his national rising movement are increasingly powerful.

I think the regime is in big, big trouble. And I think we're going to see big events there in the coming months.

Well, that certainly would be an optimistic look at that situation, and I for one hope that is what comes to fruition.

Well, let's move forward and look at the situation in Russia. We talked about them as an uh ally of Iran. They are involved in their own situation with Ukraine, which seems to be going from bad to worse. Can you talk about that? Rick, as our listeners know, I'm currently in Europe, and the price of diesel fuel, for the first time that I can remember in 25 years, diesel is now more expensive than regular gasoline.

Normally, it's discounted because the governments had wanted to favor diesel cars because they're more fuel-efficient. That's changed recently, but still, diesel is more expensive. Why? Because Russia is a huge producer of diesel fuel and their refineries are being hit by Ukrainian drones. They're shutting down.

They have gas lines. There's parliamentary elections coming up in Russia in September. And Putin and the establishment, the security establishment, they're shutting down opposition candidates. They're preventing them from running if they show any support against Putin. They are anti-war candidates, they are being barred from running.

Peshkov, the spokesman for the government, called the biggest opposition party, Yabloko, he said it's, quote, not a party. It's no more than a cell.

Well, this is pathetic. It reminds me of Baghdad Bob, who was standing there as American tanks were behind him coming into Baghdad, saying the Americans are nowhere near Baghdad. I think that's what's happening now. Putin and his funkies are saying the opposition is nowhere near taking over. while the crowds are forming in the streets just behind them.

Very interesting situation to monitor there. Let's move on. We've got a couple more places to hit. Let's talk about Turkey where they are still trying to acquire F thirty five jets and this is a concern to many. They are trying to acquire those F-35 jets.

I don't think they're going to be successful. I think Congress is going to push back. Erdogan is refusing to sever his relations with Russia, to toss out the advisors who are servicing the S-400 air defense systems he bought a number of years ago. By the way, that's why he can't buy the F-35, because under U.S. law, if you're using the very systems that we're trying to defeat, you can't have the F-35.

I don't think he's going to get those. He wants them. This is going to be a standoff. It's going to be a fight, if you wish, between his personal ties with President Trump, which we're all told are very close, and a very, very strong U.S. Senate and House of Representatives coalition that does not want Turkey to get the F-35.

I'm speaking with Ken Timmerman for Prophecy Today. Ken, final question. Muslim immigration has become an issue in Spain. Can you tell us what's happening this week?

Well, we thought this was a sleeper. In January, the socialist government of Spain decided to give illegal status to something like 500. Illegals in the country. And now, all of a sudden, this week, they have 50,000 Moroccans who are flooding two tiny enclaves that Spain maintains just on the other side of Gibraltar on the Moroccan coast. These are across from Spain, across the Mediterranean, but not very far.

They had to deploy 200 gendarmes this week, not a very big force. But these 50,000 Moroccans are trying to bust into the European Union. The EU has stood up and said, well, we are ready to block our Schengen access to Spain. What that means is that people coming from Spain are going to have a harder time getting into the European Union because of this mass migration flood. It's kind of like the caravans that we had coming into the United States across the Mexican border during the Biden administration, except that we did nothing to stop them.

Here, the Spanish are actually trying to stop them, and they've got to get on boats to get. Into Spain proper. The EU is already ready for it. They're saying no to this migration. We'll see if the Spanish stand up to it and block the flood.

Ken Timmerman for Prophecy Today. Ken, thanks so much for being with us. Look forward to talking to you again soon. Rick is always a blessing. Thanks for having me.

Great job as always, Ken. And I think that last story about the incursion into Spain of the immigrants that were migrating from North Africa from different areas coming in Has a lot to do with Bible prophecy, specifically in Daniel 2, verse 44, where it talks about iron and clay, the mixing of the base of that statue, which is the times of the Gentiles, but that statue of the iron, which represents a revived Roman Empire, and clay. Not a very strong mixture when you mix those two together, and I think the migrants That are coming across the ocean are coming in and making Europe a much weaker state than it should be. We've got a lot more to cover with our good friend David Dolan right here on Prophecy Today weekend. Mm.

I'm Steve O'Dell with Mission Network News. One in seven Christians lives under high levels of persecution, says international Christian concern. The Christian Post calls it a pervasive human rights crisis. Todd Nettleton with Voice of the Martyrs USA says, I had underlined that not from the standpoint of what it says, but just how different it is from how VOM views. From a political perspective, yes, it is a human rights crisis, but from the standpoint of we as Christian believers, this is exactly what Jesus said was going to happen.

God often grows persecuted churches the fastest. Religious freedom matters, but Nettleton believes our first response to persecution should be walking alongside the family of God in prayer, not politics. Nettleton tells the story of Bob Fuhrer. Who used to pray for Christians to get out of prison soon? After his imprisonment in China, he instead began to pray God would empower believers in prison, pray for the persecuted church.

And today is World Day Against Trafficking. Mission India works with local Christian partners in India to prevent trafficking before it begins with adult literacy classes. Raina Miller with Mission India says when adults can read, they can better provide for their family and they're less susceptible to traffickers.

Sometimes all it takes is for them to just be knowledgeable that this is a problem.

So that if someone shows up and tries to trick them into being trafficked, they know what sags to watch out for and they know to say no. The adult literacy class teachers also introduce students to the gospel. They're finding their worth in Jesus and they're seeing him provide for them through this caring teacher who is discipling them and just preparing them for life in general. Pray trafficking survivors find freedom and for those at risk to have tools and confidence in Christ. Thanks for listening to Mission Network News, a service of one-way ministries.

Welcome back to Prophecy Today Radio, the program that looks at current events in the light of Bible prophecy.

Well, this is the portion of our program. We call it our Middle East News Update. We look at news coming out of the Middle East in general, but Israel in particular. To do that, we have with us journalist Dave Dolan. Dave, thanks for being with us today.

Oh, he's a voice in Rick.

Well, David, news from Gaza this week, and also Prime Minister Netanyahu visits the United States. Could you give us an update on the latest?

Well, yes, of course, the Prime Minister was in Washington on Tuesday meeting with the President and, of course, attending the funeral of Lindsay Graham. And it was a pretty good meeting, everybody said. They spoke for about ninety minutes. They covered several topics. And the Israelis afterwards said that, of course, the main topic was Iran, but that Netanyahu presented his opinions of the various possibilities of the war's development, but didn't advocate for any one of them and wasn't there to, as it were, put Israel's position up, but to listen more to the President and what he felt was right and what was coming.

And that was followed, of course, on Thursday by the announcement at the White House that the Board of Peace that President Trump set up to end the Gaza war and to get the release of the hostages, which thankfully did take place in the first phase, that it is back on track because it was basically sidelined, Rick, when Israel and the U.S. attacked Iran last year in June, and then, of course, the follow-up this year.

So there hasn't been much. progress much movement during those times. But he said it's back on, President Trump did. And he spoke about it on Friday at Camp David, a cabinet meeting held up there, where the future of the war was again discussed. And the last time they met at Camp David was right before the February phase, the first phase of this current conflict was discussed and decided upon.

And what they came up with, Rick, is a 15-point plan. I won't go into all the details, but. It would involve a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces uh following a phased disarming of Hamas And Hamas would give up its tunnel systems and other things like that. Immediately, Israel, and it's already beginning, is to stop attacking Hamas targets. On Thursday, they killed a leading Hamas figure who's actually a doctor, but he was involved in the october seventh slaughter and was holding two hostages in the hospital where he worked.

they were discovered there, et cetera.

Well, he was killed in a strike, but they've agreed to stop all of that. And Hamas is supposed to stop all provocative acts coming up to the yellow line, the division between the Israeli and Palestinian controlled areas, this sort of thing. And if that succeeds, they'll go on to the next point. The next point, it's a 15-point plan that's supposed to take place within a year or two, the whole thing, and end with the Palestinians running the entire Gaza Strip again, with Israeli forces completely out of the area. The Palestinians would rule through what's called the NCAG, the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.

That's headed by a Palestinian named Ali Shahaf.

Now he's a former PA official, Rick. Was in Ramallah, et cetera. He's acceptable to most of the Palestinian factions. And he's supposed to oversee this whole thing. And then they'll bring in the International Stabilization Force, this international force that They've been having a lot of trouble putting together Indonesia the main supplier of troops pulled out.

when the Iran war began and some other countries also have backed away.

So this is uh what's happening, Rick, and it's uh Being commented on strongly in Israel. The Israeli government hadn't yet issued any statement about it as of Saturday. But there is already members of the Prime Minister's Cabinet strongly opposing it. Saying this is a surrender to Hamas. They never will give up all their weapons, this sort of thing.

And then we had a senior Hamas official on Friday also say that.

Well, we'll give up our tanks and we'll give up our RPGs and we'll give up our rockets, but not our Kalashnikovs, not our personal rockets. weapons. We're going to keep those.

Well, according to this fifteen-point plan, they are not. They're supposed to completely dissorb.

So there's a lot of skepticism, frankly, Rick, in Israel, that this will work or proceed, but that was announced. And then, of course, we had a resumption of the regional war. During the middle of the week, of course, President Trump was about to launch a new phase, as we discussed extensively last week. And then announced at the last minute that he He'd agreed to give more time for negotiations, that the Iranians were begging for that, et cetera.

Well, if so, they broke their word real quickly because on Wednesday they not only attacked several vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, as they did again on Friday, and they've done it many times over the months, of course, but they again attacked the U. S. air base in Jordan where Three American soldiers were killed a couple of weeks ago, and many others wounded. And that came out of the blue. It was totally unexpected.

It very much angered the President, and he went back to kinetic activity at that point. And the U.S. has been striking targets again, mostly in southern Iran. And meanwhile, we had more action in Lebanon. On Friday, we had the IDF announce it had destroyed the underground city that we spoke about a couple of weeks ago in the Beaufort Ridge, just north of the border of Israel, that contained an operating theater.

Kitchens, bathrooms, lots of bunks, and lots of weapons, a staging ground for a future. Attack upon northern Israel. That was blown up. And there was some other action there as well during the week. But so far, no rockets upon Israel, no ballistic missiles, and everybody's grateful for that.

But the IDF, of course, still remains on full were alert.

Well, David, a lot to talk about in the Middle East right now, and I'd like to follow up on this board of peace that you talked about in Gaza, President Trump's plan.

Now, President Trump has been a friend to Israel, generally been sympathetic to their situation there in the Middle East, but he is really pushing this plan. Israelis are skeptical, and many are worried that he might push it maybe even to the detriment of Israelis. Can you talk about this?

Well, Rick, he was asked about that on Friday at this Cabinet meeting by reporters that were allowed in for a few minutes at the beginning of it. And he said the Israelis have are on board. They fully agree to this. as we made no comments or threats or whatever. But yes, of course, If there were resistance to it, it would not sit well with the White House.

We can. expect that. But Rick, the Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu, is in a bit of a pickle here because, of course, he's running for reelection.

Now it's August. They're taking place the end of October, so not very far off. And he's got several opponents that are strongly criticizing this. 15-point plan, including Gaddi Eisenkocht, who I pointed out a couple of weeks ago, is now leading in the polls to be the next Prime Minister, his party surging ahead. He's a former chief of staff and a military man from Morocco.

His family considered a rather hardliner, but he's calling upon the Prime Minister not to sign on. He said, how can we trust Hamas, they've done this, they've done that. And of course that's the problem, Rick, is How can the president trust Iran, the Iranian regime? He's finding out he can't. How can the Israelis trust Hamas?

They don't at all, not any. And the Prime Minister doesn't want to be seen as the weak one in this situation, as the one not holding on to Israeli security firmly, et cetera. But yes, it's very detailed. It's very complicated. And again, anything could happen to disrupt it.

News reports said that the Iranian regime was very unhappy with it and that they were planning some measures to try to derail it. And of course, they derailed the pending, then pending deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia to join the Abraham Accords by the october seventh mass slaughter and attack.

So anything could happen there, more likely something from Lebanon. But it's going to be a tense period. And nobody in Israel, I can tell you this, is popping champagne bottles today that oh, it's all ended with With Gaza, it's all ended with Hamas. We can write that one off and you know, turn the other way. They would love to do that.

But again, we're dealing with this axis of resistance that it calls itself this Islamic fundamentalist, radical theology that exists both in the Sunni world, in Hamas, And in the Shi'i world, Hezbollah and Iran, et cetera.

So again, the peace pipes are not sounding exactly yet, but it's a hopeful sign. And again, the Israelis are Very, very happy that the President is concerned still and that they are still wanting to push forward with this. Everyone hopes it will work out, but it's going to take a lot of prayer as well as a lot of effort. Dave Dolan for Prophecy Today. Dave, as always, we appreciate your insight.

Look forward to talking to you again soon. I do as well, Rick. God bless. Great job, as always, David. And from a Christian perspective, man-made diplomatic efforts like the U.S.-led Board of Peace are viewed through two primary lenses: a general call for earthly de-escalation versus a warning about false human security ahead of the biblical end times.

Many believers, such as us, believe geopolitical agreements as part of the broader prophetic backdrop leading towards the return of Jesus Christ, the true Prince of Peace. It's very much leading us to the beginning of the end days, as we know them. We got to take a break when we come back. Itamar Marcus and Paul Scharf, right here on Prophecy Today weekend. Did we domesticate ourselves?

This is Ken Ham, CEO of the Faith Building Apologetics Ministry Answers in Genesis. The story of evolution usually goes like this. Those who are the fittest, the toughest, or the strongest survive and reproduce. the others die out. But according to other studies, tameness was supposedly selected for in human evolution.

somehow resulting in genetic changes as we domesticated ourselves. ganging up against bullies to get ahead. In other words, the nice guy wins. But this goes against the evolutionary story of survival of the fittest. This story is always changing because it's just that, a story embedded by humans about the part.

We need to start with God's unchanging word, not man's word. Plan your visit to the Creation Museum and the full-size arc when you go to AnswersRadio.com. That's answersradio.com. Welcome back to Prophecy Today. I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr.

Along with my brother Rick, we've been examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word. In the last half hour, we ended talking about the Board of Peace. We thought it would be good to talk about one of the partners of the Board of Peace process, which would be the Palestinians. And to do that we would bring in our good friend Itrimar Marcus.

Well, that's right, Jimmy. I have Itimar Marcus from Palestinian Media Watch. He joins us on a regular basis. Itimar, thanks for being with us today. Thanks for inviting me.

Always a pleasure. Elamar, I know you've been on the program before, but if you could, could you remind our listeners what you do at Palestinian Media Watch? The Palestinian Media Watch wants the world to know what's really happening with the Palestinian Authority. They have a very smooth propaganda mechanism for international relations around the world. They claim to the world that they want peace with Israel.

They just want Israel to give away Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria and Gaza, and they claim they'll have peace. And what we do is we show that's all lies, that the Palestinian Authority has a genocidal ideology. They regularly call for the extermination of all Jews. Count them one by one. Don't leave even one on their official VA.

Television station, and they often talk about the end of Israel as something that they are seeking.

So PMW exposes the Palestinian Authority to the world, and we present their findings in Congress and Parliaments around the world and to governments. And there's been a lot of legislation and a lot of international condemnation of the Palestinian Authority and change of policy. Because of Palestinian Media Watch. You can find Palestinian MediaWatch by going to palwatch.org. I went there and speaking of that slick operation that you talked about with the Palestinian Authority, they have, I guess, coined a new phrase, combining the words whole and genocide, calling it a holocide, which echoes the Holocaust.

Can you talk about this?

Yeah, the um Palestinian the Sardi is um Is trying to, they were complaining, actually, in the beginning of this interview that they were giving, they were complaining that Israel has succeeded in having the world recognize International Holocaust Remembrance Day, they've succeeded in having the world recognize the atrocities of the Holocaust. And then he comes and says, Well, we haven't succeeded in having the world recognize the genocide. That's happened to Palestinians.

Now, of course, the whole premise is ridiculous. The idea of comparing anything that's happening to Palestinians with the Holocaust is, of course, a joke against the Palestinians. Israel is fighting a defensive war against a genocidal Hamas organization that had just done October 7th. Day of massacre and torture and burning people alive. Uh, and the Palestinian authorities celebrated this.

So, Israel was fighting a war of self-defense, the Nazis. were fighting an extermination of the Jewish people.

So there's no it even to say that there's no comparison is just painful to say because it's it's two different worlds. But the PA, of course, Wants to demonize the Jewish people, wants to demonize Israel.

So they try to tell their people, and they say it regularly: that Israel is committing a Holocaust. And they very often say that Israel is even doing a worse Holocaust than happened. I'll even give you one other example. Just a week ago, maybe 10 days ago on Palestinian Authority TV, somebody said, We all see with our own eyes the Palestinian Holocaust. But we're not sure about the Jewish Holocaust because no one saw it and the eyewitnesses aren't reliable.

So, this is the Palestinian Authority world. They create their own reality, convince their people that the worst people on the face of the planet are Israel and the Jews. And therefore, Israel and the Jews are worthy of being destroyed because the whole world is suffering from them.

Well, I want to talk about that term genocide in just a second, but before I do, just going back to that phrase holocide, and it's kind of becoming this anti-Israel rhetoric that they have. It's becoming more sophisticated, almost like they're putting this together using study groups and different things like that to find out things that will work in the Western media. Do you see that as well? Yes, exactly. And you're making a very good point with this term holocide.

They've created this term holocide. It's a in Arabic, the word ahawal refers to horrors.

So what they're doing is horrors and genocide. Awwal genocide, and of course, then it comes out sounding like holocide.

So they're getting in all the messages that they want. Israel is doing horrors, Israel is doing genocide, and it's like the Holocaust.

So the beauty and the brilliance of this evil term that the Palestinians are using now, or they want the world to use, is that it. In one word. They package so many messages. In one word, they package all these different messages. Instead of having a whole long explanation, the Jews are committing a Holocaust.

They do it in one word, and that, of course, is the brilliance of successful propaganda, even when it's lies. And what they want to do is they want to have. Um an international uh holocide commemoration day. Uh, said every year, just like Israel and the Jewish people have a, or I would say the international community, has an international Holocaust Remembrance Day, they want to have an international holocide commemoration. I just have to tell you something very ironic about this.

The date that they have chosen for their Holicide Memorial Date. is october seventeenth.

Now why did they choose October 17th? Because that was the day that According to what they're writing, that was the day that Israel bombed the Gaza City Al-Hahili Hospital and supposedly killed hundreds of people.

Now, the irony is that. The people who bombed the hospital were the Islamic Jihad. They had sent a missile, and this has been documented and proved, and everybody has seen the videos. They shot a missile. The missile went short, as did about almost 30% of the missiles that they were shooting.

It went short, landed in Gaza, landed in the parking lot of the hospital, and killed a few dozen people there, but it was an Islamic jihad.

So this happened on October 17th, 2023. They're still going with the lie that this was Israel intentionally attacking a hospital, and they're making a holocide memorial day.

So, what's happening? Let me just put it why this is so outrageous. Palestinian terror group misfired a rocket. Palestinians ended up killing Palestinians. They decided to blame Israel, and now they're making that date as an International Day of Remembrance.

So, this is. Palestinian propaganda, it's all based on lies. But tragically, when we see what's going on on campus around the United States and the universities, people in Congress are echoing these lies. You've got the mayor of New York who's echoing lies. It's unbelievable.

And what the Palestinian Authority has learned is that. They can lie and exaggerate and make up any stories that they want about Israel. They have a very willing audience. On the campuses, they have very willing audiences in Congress already, and they have very willing audiences in some of the governmental leaders across the United States, like the mayor of New York. And this is the real challenge that Israel has because we have to fight against people who don't care about the fact but only care about how they can demonize Jews.

Well, that certainly is their plan. And unfortunately, it is working. And I told you I wanted to talk about the term genocide. Of course, that's part of that holocide-created word. But genocide, we hear that all the time.

We hear it from politicians here in the United States commentators. They are talking about the quote-unquote genocide that Israel is perpetrating in Gaza and maybe even outside of Gaza. That is what they are saying. But of course, like you said, this is all built on lies. Can you talk a little bit about why this is not a genocide in Israel?

Okay, I just I want to give you some interesting statistics. And what's so striking about these statistics is that these are Palestinian Authority statistics. Just a few weeks ago, the Palestinian Authority Bureau of Statistics, they published a graph And they called this a graph of the Palestinian, the number of Palestinians, what they call it in historic Palestine. Over the years.

Now, start Palestine, they mean all of Israel and all of Judea and Samaria, the Gaza Strip, all of that area. And then you see this graph, and you see that in the years before Israel had Judea and Samaria. From 1948 to 1967, the Arab population went down some 4.2% during this period. What happened when Israel got to Judea and Samaria? If Israel was doing genocide, you would expect the population would continue to go down.

Well, this is what's just so shocking from 1967. Till 2025, which is what this graph is showing, you see a skyrocketing of the population. The Arab population went from 1.36 million to 7.4 million. This is a rise of 445%. 445%.

Now, we decided to compare and get a sense of, just to give you a sense of what an incredible rise in population that is from 67 to 2025. And this is, now we're talking about when the Arab Palestinians, the Arabs of Israel and the Arabs of the Palestinian Authority, they're living under Israeli rule, and they went up 445%.

Now, I just want to show a comparison here. During the same period, German population rose. 8%. Britain's population grew 25%. Lebanon, some of the Arab countries, they had significant rises, 165%.

Syria rose 280%. The only one, no one was close to the Palestinian rise, 445%.

So, this is Israel's failed.

So-called genocide policy. Supposedly, we wanted to destroy the Palestinians, and they ended up being the fastest-growing population, just about almost in the entire world.

Now, if you're talking about genocide, you have to look what the Palestinians did. Because if you look at the population of Bethlehem, for example, from the time that Israel gave over Bethlehem, The Palestinian Authority in 1994. Until today, the population of Bethlehem's Christians went from about 50% of the population to 10% of the population today.

So, if you're talking genocide, you're talking about ethnic cleansing, the Palestinian Authority, they are the ones who have perfected this. Israel, of course, is not interested in ethnic cleansing of anyone, and Israel has just made the lives for Palestinians incredibly much, much better than they were under Jordan or Egypt or anyone before that. They have thrived under Israel, like I said, rising over 400%. Palestinians know how to do ethnic cleansing. They made lives for Christians in Bethlehem miserable.

And there's been tremendous immigration. To a lot of South America, so others to Europe. And like I said, going down from around 50% of the population to less than 10% of Bethlehem's population today.

Well, that persecution of Christians in Bethlehem is something that Jimmy and I can both. Personally, we attest to because we know Christians that are struggling there since the Palestinian Authority took over. And, you know, I just want to kind of wrap this whole thing up as we look at these easily disproven claims of genocide and we see these lies that are just perpetrated around the world. We realize that this is just anti-Semitism. It's something that, unfortunately, has been around for a long time.

The Jewish people have suffered effects from it. And now, even since October 7th, it seems to have gotten worse, doesn't it? That was the most incredible thing. The, and, you know, people assume, people, you know, decent people assume that when. there is a massacre of of that kind of Caliber.

Uh scope uh 1200 people uh Hundreds of women who were tortured, raped, hundreds of people taken as hostages, families who were burned alive together, murdered together while they were hugging each other. I mean, the stories are, when you get into the details, 1,200 people murdered, but the details of the individual families are just shocking.

So, as a rule, decent people. Around the world, even without any connection to which ethnic group it was, will certainly feel sympathy for those people. And what's happened with The Palestinians and their supporters. Is They felt it as a sign that Israel is weakening. And therefore they decided to see this it encouraged them.

It encouraged them. Encouraged them to continue the hatred. We've got Israel's back against the wall. We were able to do this wonderful attack against them. Let's keep going.

And that's what's happened. And tragically, you've got people like, like I said, I just keep coming back to the mayor of New York because he's one of the most prominent people, Mamdani, who refused to condemn terms like globalized intifada. And of course, it's an outrage because these are terms calling for the continued murdering of not only Israelis, but anyone who supports Israel. Because if you're globalizing the intifada, you're killing people outside of Israel. You're killing people across the globe.

And everybody in the world knows that intifada was where the Palestinians used suicide bombings and drive-by shootings to murder civilians.

So this is the problem today. The people who hate, when they see that they have achieved success in killing and murdering, instead of them backing off and saying, okay, we've gone too far, they did just the opposite.

Okay, we're on a roll. Let's keep going now while Israel and the Jewish people are weak. Idamar Marcus from Palestinian Media Watch. Idhimar, we appreciate the work you do combating these lies and educating people. Again, go to your website, palwatch.org.

Idhimar, thanks so much, and look forward to talking to you again soon. Hi, thank you very much. Bye. Excellent information and this information really is so that the body of Christ can be prepared and understand where we are. For believers, the very next thing I believe that's going to take place in Bible prophecy is the rapture of the church.

Everything that we're talking about is all future.

So, for believers, we need to understand that. But this information, the events that we cover, the practical information that we cover on Bible prophecy, really helps us to determine the times in which we're living, which Daniel the prophet did.

Well, a lot of questions have been coming in, and I had needed to get in touch with a friend of mine because these questions are pertaining to Israel. And I wanted to get my good friend Paul Scharf onto the program today. Paul, welcome to the program. Thank you, Jimmy. Great to be back with you.

Yes, and Paul, these questions that come in, and you have an expertise, you work with the friends of Israel, you have your own ministry, you're teaching. We'll talk about that later. But these questions that come in have to do. In the wake of events unfolding in the Middle East, many are wondering what the Bible says regarding the final failure. Future salvation of Israel.

And even some have sent in the very verse that you know very well, and so all Israel will be saved. As it is written, the deliverer. Will come out of Zion, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob. And so, you know, as we're witnessing all these scenes on T V, it's also common for evangelicals to raise this concern. Why should we be distressed for the nation of Israel today when they are people in unbelief?

Right. Jimmy, the That's of course, a question that weighs on all of us, but We believe we've had answers to those questions that quite frankly, have been taught For many decades in our dispensational circles, as we teach pre-tribulationalism and premillennialism, As your father and you have such a legacy of proclaiming. We know that the people of Israel have to be in unbelief but reconstituted as a nation in unbelief. for the tribulation to begin following the rapture. And so we have these glorious promises of their future salvation, as you read, Romans chapter 11, verse 26.

where Paul is merely echoing the words of the great prophet Isaiah, Isaiah four, verse three, it shall come to pass that he was left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy. Everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem said So this is nothing even new from the Apostle Paul in Romans 11. And it's nothing new in terms of what we've been teaching and explaining, but somehow there's a disconnect, and you and I both know, Jimmy, that our dispensational teaching is on the wane, sadly, in many churches which used to be faithful to teach it. And I think there's also there's a disconnect oftentimes especially among some younger people and sometimes some not so younger people who just haven't made the connection between the fact of what we've taught all these years and what we see on our television screens, and it's so vivid, of course, before us since october seventh. You know, Paul, it's imperative That the believer understands God's program for the Jewish people.

And the future is after the rapture of the church. The rapture of the church is for the believer. Everything after that, that seven-year period of time, that is for the Jewish. People And to bring them to a day of salvation. How will Israel come to faith?

And what does it mean that all Israel will be saved? Jimmy, that is such an important question. Because sometimes, when we say, with the words of the Apostle Paul, all Israel will be saved, some people actually think we're saying that. Every Jewish person who's ever lived, even if they've lived and died and rejected Christ as Savior. that they will ultimately still be saved.

We're not saying that. We're not teaching a universalism even of the Jewish people. Sadly, Jewish people can be lost as all people can be lost without Christ. and will be lost without Christ. we're not saying even that every Jewish person who begins the tribulation will be saved, that misses the rapture because we know sadly Zechariah thirteen talks about two thirds of the nation being cut off and dying during the days of the tribulation, And that's in Zechariah chapter thirteen.

Verse. Eight and nine. I have some hope, Jimmy, personally, as we look through the very complex. Prophecies that deal with that time that we don't have time in this interview, obviously, to put together God's deliverance of the people of Israel during the tribulation. I have some hope that some of those two-thirds will die as martyrs for the gospel and be saved.

So we. We're really talking about one-third plus, I like to say. that we believe will be saved, and that one-third will be brought through physically. all the way to the end. of the tribulation, and that will evidence their spiritual salvation.

That one-third of the nation that begins the tribulation, Zechariah 13:9, I believe. will be the nation as it's constituted at that time, and the whole nation will be saved. And how they get there, again, is a very complicated story. But I believe some Some, Jimmy, will come to faith at the very last available moment, Zechariah twelve ten. They will look on him whom they pierced.

They'll mourn for him as one mourns for his only son. And grieve. for him as one grieves for a firstborn. And they'll look in faith At that very last moment, and they'll be saved. Yes, yes.

And that's our prayer every time we're in Israel with all of our Jewish friends. Yes, Paul, that is our prayer as we recognize that that verse is so true. How might the current worldwide anti-Semitism lead perfectly into the post-rapture climate for Israel? Jimmy, could we ever imagine it being more Adaptable to the world we read about on the pages of scripture than what we're seeing now. You know, what we're seeing unfold, a worldwide anti-Semitism.

Who would have thought? On October 7th, that within a few weeks the whole world would be turning against Israel, persecuting the Jewish people in a way that is reminiscent of the Holocaust. It's unreal. And the prophet Zechariah told us in Zechariah fourteen, verse two, That all the nations, Jimmy, would be gathered against Jerusalem. And John In the book of Revelation, it makes it clear in chapter twelve that Satan will energize the Antichrist.

For the last half, the last three point five years of the tribulation, persecuting the people of Israel, driving them into the wilderness. And So obviously, the things that we're seeing unfolding right now are setting the stage for this end time anti Semitism, this hatred of the Jewish people, an irrational demonic hatred. But Could it be any more clear that the stage is being set for the events that will happen right after the rapture, I believe? When Israel will be in such desperate need of some kind of treaty or covenant. and they will make that treaty as a nation in unbelief With the Antichrist.

Yes. You know, and Paul, you and I, we are watching what's taking place. We mourn. For the Israelis, but it's almost as if the Lord has a bell and he's ringing it. And he's ringing it.

Wake up, wake up. Because, you know, like you said, who would have thought before October 7th that all the world would be divided over either you're for Israel or you're against.

So, how do efforts. to bless Israel today relate to her future salvation, Paul.

Well, that's the wonderful thing, Jimmy, about God's promise in the Abrahamic covenant. He'll bless those who bless the people of Israel. By the way, he'll curse those who fail to bless them. But he's going to bless Our efforts to bless the people of Israel. That means when we pray for the peace of Jerusalem today, It may not come today.

In fact, it will not come today. But we pray for it today. We pray for our temporal peace as much as possible. We pray for that ultimate peace when Christ returns and establishes his kingdom. When we seek to bless the Jewish people, we We seek to take the gospel of their own Messiah, the Messiah that they, physically speaking, gave to the world.

That we've received, we seek to take his gospel to them. They may not receive it today, as you know, Jimmy. But God is going to use our meagre efforts Toward his magnificent purpose, as I write in the article, we're talking about the future salvation of Israel. And he is going to use these things toward his ultimate purpose and ultimate goal. He's working all things According to the counsel of his will, he has everything in control, and he's using our tiny efforts that we provide with his help And when we seek to bless the people of Israel, All of that, I like to think that all sort of works together towards God's ultimate plan.

He's going to use that, and he's going to bring the Jewish people to faith in their Messiah. Great, great thoughts, Paul, and great instruction for the body of Christ. Most people that listen to this program have an understanding, and if they follow us and they've been following us, they understand our focus on the Jewish people. Events that took place are driving people back to Israel. Events that took place are preparing Israel for that time in the future, as you have so eloquently described.

Paul, thank you so much. This is important. You know, we're experiencing a form of Holocaust again, and it could and it will, according to Bible prophecy, get much worse. And it's important that we understand God's plan for the Jewish people, God's program. And, Paul, thank you.

How can the folks. Get And watch what you presented as you talked about this very topic. Jimmy, people can find all my resources at sermonaudio.com/slash P Sharif. That's P S C H A R F. That's where I have a library of all my materials for my ministry within the Friends of Israel.

And of course they can find all about Our home ministry at FOI dot org. Paul, thank you so much for joining with us today. God bless you. And we hope to encourage you, Paul, to keep teaching and edifying and educating the body of Christ in these days in which we're living, to understand how close we are to the rapture of the church. Thanks, Paul.

Lord bless you. Thanks, Jimmy. It's a privilege and it's always a wonderful joy to be with you.

Well, we've got to take a break and when we come back, Dr. Jimmy DeYoung and the Legacy series will start a new series on the book of Revelation and how it unfolds. And at the end of the program, R. C. Murrow will come and tell us that the search for Amalek is over.

The Antichrist, the search for Amalek, the descendants, which are the Palestinians of today. That's all ahead right here on Prophecy Today Weekend. Welcome back to Prophecy. Today, I'm Jimmy DeYoung Jr., along with my brother Rick, we've been examining current events in the light of God's prophetic word. Rick, a timely program today, and we've talked about the partners that would be a part of the Board of Peace, the Palestinians.

And we're going to finish up this half hour with R.C. Merle talking about Amalek. And our father taught about that a lot. But it sure would be good to go back to Israel, wouldn't it? It really would, Jimmy.

And we're looking at doing a trip this fall, possibly in October. We're still getting the dates together. And I understand the challenges of traveling to the Middle East, especially Israel right now. But we know that there are several people that support the ministry that want to go to Israel. They want to support the land.

And, you know, we're only going to go if we feel it's safe, but that would be something great that we can look at in the future. If you want to keep up with us, go to our website or listen to the program, and we'll give you more details or give us a call. Also, Jimmy, we know we love people getting engaged with our ministry. Go to our website, prophecytoday.com. Sign up for our devotions.

Look at how you can support the ministry. We appreciate you being a part of Prophecy Today. We sure do. That's prophecytoday.com.

Well, on the legacy series this week, we're going to begin our study in the last book of the Bible, the book of Revelation. I want to remind you of several things about Bible prophecy and the study of at least. Least one-third of God's word. There are a number of reasons for us to study Bible prophecy, which we will be looking at in our study today with Dr. Jimmy D.

Young. And you may have questions about why has Jesus not already shouted for us to join him in the heavens at the rapture? Another question might be: why are there so many people who even deny that Jesus Christ is coming back soon? They doubt that Jesus will keep his promise to come back and call us into the heavenlies, and they do so with all that is happening in our world. That seems to have a real connection to the prophetic scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.

Well, as we begin our study of Revelation, we will take a few moments to answer these questions From the Bible, which is the Word of God. Dr. Jimmy D. Young and And the Legacy series. I think we're getting closer and closer every day.

There's never been a time in history when all the current events that are unfolding today are exactly what the prophetic scenario lays out in God's word. Never in history has it been exactly like this. There is one reason that Jesus Christ has not come back yet. And that is 2 Peter 3 and verse 9. The only reason that Jesus Christ is not here on the earth right now is that he is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to know him.

That's 2 Peter 3, 9. 2 Peter 3.12 says that if you want to hasten the coming of the Lord, win people to Jesus Christ. And that is the purpose of studying Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy and missions conferences go very well together. Because missions is reaching out to the world and winning people to Jesus Christ.

Prophecy is helping you to understand the urgency of the moment and the reason that we need to get out there quickly. Because at some point, the Lord is not going to allow it to go any farther and He's going to come back. There's a fullness of the Gentiles, not the times of the Gentiles, but the fullness of the Gentiles, which is over in Romans chapter 11 and verse 25. And that is talking about when the last Gentile in this church program, this church period of time, is completed, the last Gentile comes to know Christ, and then He comes back. But at this point, the reason He's hesitated, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

And so we need to understand the times in which we're living. I tell you, Daniel never got tired of wanting to know more information about how close it is and comparing it and hearing it again and studying. For three weeks, laying on his face, chapter 10, book of Daniel, wanting to have the Lord or the heavenlies respond to his prayers. And so we need to continue to study Bible prophecy. I do not say take Bible prophecy and just study that and put aside all other Bible studies.

That would be ridiculous as well. Bible prophecy is only one-third of the book, but it must be included. I would encourage you to spend more time in studying Bible prophecy. If you have not been doing that, at least I would say a third of the time, that's a third of the Bible, and you can deal with these issues as you go through the Word of God. Let me also remind you: there's a principle over in 2 Peter 1 and verse 20 that says there's no prophecy of private interpretation.

Now, I've taken you to different locations in the Word of God. Let me just remind you, you cannot take one prophecy over here out of a prophetic passage, say the book of Obadiah, and have it negate something that Ezekiel says. They have to go together. No prophecy or private interpretation. It was the same person, the Holy Spirit of God, who breathed into these men what he wanted to have known.

You can't have Zephaniah negate the book of Revelation, or you can't have Nahum negate the book of Daniel, they all have to fit hand in glove together.

So remember as you study Bible prophecy. If it seems to be contradicting something, that is not the case. You have to just simply go back and spend a bit more study in understanding how that comes together. As we come now to the book of Revelation, this book basically takes everything that I have been speaking on and lays it out for us and gives us an end time scenario that will help us to understand the times in which we're living. Remember, we started the study by looking at Revelation chapter one and verse 18.

Jesus said, I am he that was alive and dead and now stand before you alive. That was guaranteeing that he was who he said he was and can do what he said he would do and it will happen, what he said will happen. And that's the entire book of Revelation. The book of Revelation, look at chapter 1, verse 1 just a moment, comes from God the Father. Look at this.

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, speaking about Jesus Christ. To show unto the servants things which must shortly come to pass, and he, Jesus Christ, sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.

So there's a number of steps there from God the Father, who gives the information, the message to Jesus Christ, who passes it along to an angel he has designated, and then that angel basically gives it to John the Revelator, and John is able to pin these pages of prophetic. Information so that we can understand exactly what is going to happen. This comes from directly from God the Father. Revelation is a culmination of all of the Word of God, what it has to say, but it's a culmination of all of in-time prophecy and brings it all together so we can understand it. I want you to understand that you must study it not numerically, but chronologically.

You cannot approach your study and go chapters 1 to 22 and have a real understanding of the book of Revelation. You have to understand it chronologically. That being the case, what I want to do is give you a simple plan to understand it chronologically, and then I'm going to go more detailed and take you through the book of Revelation chronologically. Let's go to Revelation and let me take you through just exactly what I gave you. Chapter 1, we see the person and the power of Jesus Christ.

His power is his resurrection, verse 18. From verse 12 to 17, it describes the person of Jesus Christ: white hair. meaning he is eternal. And it looks at him, his countenance, his face as the sun shineth in its very strength. It talks about his feet being as if they've been burned of brass and been burned in a furnace.

Depicting his judgment, his eyes as flames of fire, indicating that he sees all. Chapters 2 and 3 of the book of Revelation would be letters to seven churches. There are churches that were alive when John wrote the book in 95 AD, but they also represent periods of church history as well as their characteristics. Are evident in churches that are still alive today. Chapter 4, verse 1, we see the rapture.

After this, I looked and behold, a door was opened in heaven. I'll not rehearse that again. But that depicts the rapture of the church. And remember the last phrase: after calling us up, come up hither. I will show thee the things which must be hereafter.

The rest of chapter 4 and chapter 5 are a throne room scene. And in that throne room scene, we see God the Father seated on the throne. Look at verse 1 of chapter 5. And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne. That is God the Father.

Remember, I told you, Jesus Christ is not now on his throne. His kingdom is yet to come, and it's key in your understanding of Bible prophecy. God the Father was on the throne. He had a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. It was not in the form of the book like we have it bound today, but instead a scroll, and not two scrolls, not two rolls, but instead one scroll, and at the top of it, keeping the flap from opening up, was a waxed seal.

And in this book, contain the 21 judgments that I talked about: seven trumpet judgments, seven sealed judgments, and seven vial judgments. This is how the Lord is going to move forward to bring the earth under subjection and submission, and also earth dwellers under submission.

Somebody asked, and the elders are there in the throne room around God the Father, who's seated on the throne.

Somebody said, Who's going to open the sealed book? And one of the elders said, What about Jesus? He was pure, perfect, holy, without sin. And so it says that he took the book from God the Father. And he was able then, look what it says in verse 7.

He came and he took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And he goes forth now. This is the title deed to the earth. It's the Scroll that contains all 21 judgments, which get progressively worse as you go through, but it is the title deed to the earth. He has to have control of the earth.

Before he goes into his kingdom. Chapter 6 now is the beginning of those sealed judgments, and let me show you who opens the sealed book.

Some people want to talk about these judgments, the first five or six of the sealed judgments, as the wrath of man. That's not true. This is the wrath of God. How do I know? Because I know who opens the seal.

I know who takes that seal. And cracks it and opens the judgments upon the earth. Look what it says in verse 1 of chapter 6. And I saw when the Lamb that's Jesus Christ when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were, the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And that first sealed judgment that is broken is the Antichrist.

But look at verse 2: And I saw and behold a white horse, and he that sat upon him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering and to conquer. That is depicting the Antichrist. Why do I know that? Because. That bow does not have any arrows, meaning he establishes a peace for a season, crown on his head, trying to replicate the crowns that Jesus will come back wearing as told to us in chapter 19.

He's on a white horse, just like Jesus will come on a white horse. This is the Antichrist. This is the first seal that is opened in the first judgment of the 21 judgments that will be released. Chapter 13 gives the detailed information about the Antichrist.

So if you're reading and studying through Revelation, you come through chapter 6, verses 1 and 2, then go to chapter 13 and spend more time studying there. Then you come back to the second sealed judgment, verse 3. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red. Power was given unto him thereon to take peace from the earth.

That is the seal of war. And those are the wars that we're talking about in the book of Daniel, chapter 11, Ezekiel chapter 38, Psalm chapter 83. That's when these judgments unfold. There's a major war at the end of the seven-year tribulation. That's called the Battle of Armageddon, or as I refer to it, the campaign, because it starts in Jerusalem and then moves to the The Jezreel Valley.

But at the beginning, the first six months of the tribulation period, this war. Unfolds that is found and detailed in Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, and Psalm 83. These three passages, Daniel eleven, Psalm eighty three, and Ezekiel thirty eight, give us the details of the second sealed judgment, the man on the red horse that takes peace from the earth. These nations, listed in these three prophetic passages, are the names of nations in our world to day that you would recognize. And, indeed, they are all aligning themselves against the Jewish State of Israel.

The truth is, the prophecy of this war that happens in the first six months of the seven year tribulation period could begin almost at any moment. That means the rapture, which happens before this war, the rapture could happen at any moment. You can see from our first study in the book of Revelation how relevant it is for us to day. I hope you can join us next week as we continue to study the prophecies from the book of Revelation that seem to be ready to come to pass very soon. By the way, if you have an opportunity this next week, tell a friend about our study in Revelation and invite them to join us.

We've got to take a break and we'll come back with RZ Morrow right here on Prophecy Today weekend. I'm Steve O'Dell with Mission Network News. Hope fades for survivors in southern Japan as earthquake rescue efforts shift to recovery. The death toll from Tuesday's twin tremors rose to 34 at airtime and continues to climb. Sweltering summer heat and aftershocks threaten responders and quake survivors.

Joe Handley says pastors in A3's disaster relief network tend to spiritual needs.

Some survivors told A3 that this week's earthquake made them relive a nightmare. It comes 10 years after a terrible quake that hit Kyushu Island as well. That was devastating. Over 50 people that died, and the destruction that happened was huge. Reports are from people who lived through that one saying.

Things like, I thought I was going to die. It was worse than the 2016 quake.

Next, the church is multiplying around the world, but Bible access remains a huge bottleneck. One in five people are still waiting for a Bible in their own language, per Wycliffe translators. Dane says that Ministry Unfolding Word empowers Indigenous believers to be part of the translation process. We have a deep conviction that Bible translation really belongs to the church. It should be located in the church.

Church-centric Bible translation spiritually develops local believers and increases their investment in the end product. Dane shares stories of Bible translators inviting members of the community to help, who then hear the gospel for the first time. And it's like, this is the God I've been looking for my whole life. It's not Buddhism. It's not animism.

It's not Islam. This is the God I've been looking for, and they come to Christ. Pray for the work of Bible translators around the world. Thanks for listening to Mission Network News, a service of one-way ministries. This month, Keys for Kids is offering free devotionals for kids and teens and a set of Bible highlighters.

Well, I had one of our broadcast partners give me a call and brought to my attention. Information that I think is very pertinent to today's program. R. C. Murrow, welcome back to the program.

Great to be back with you, Jimmy. Thank you. Yes, sir. R.C., you sent me the Israeli websites were buzzing this past week with remarks made by Prime Minister Netanyahu relating the Hamas slaughter of Israeli men, women and children to Biblical Amalek.

Now I know you wrote your book, Antichrist, The Search for Amalek, some time ago. What can you tell us about this? Jimmy, I my journey into Amalek started in twenty eleven, a few days before the Arab Spring. One of my sons encouraged me to start a blog since I was studying current events in Bible prophecy with Jack Ginsello, who was involved in the production of Hal Lindsey's T V programs. On January 30th, I started Prophecy tracker, and by March, thanks to Jack, we had the beginning of an audience.

And Jimmy, March is also the time of the Jewish Feast of Purim. I became really interested in finding out more. about the principal antagonist of Turim called Haman the Agagite. Haman bore an eerie resemblance to some of the mass murderers of Jews that started me on a three-year search to find a link. Among several historic anti-Semites, I was looking for a possible bloodline to connect the dots.

I started with Esau's descendants, which led me to his illegitimate grandson Amalek, of whom God swore to have war with in every generation, as stated in Exodus seventeen sixteen.

Okay, so you self-published the book in twenty thirteen and set about trying to get Pastors And prophecy teachers to read the book. How did that go? Yeah, that's a great question. And the answer is only one pastor, and that's the church that we attended, endorsed the book. others, including prophecy groups, who will remain nameless.

I acted like I sent them the plague. Not only did they not Acknowledged the book, but none even ever called me back. It was zip zero, not a nothing.

So, how did you keep it going? Jimmy, I probably posted at least five thousand times on Amalek on Prophecy Tracker. And so far, you're the first person other than Vince and Family to ask me about it. Yes. So why do you think that is?

Yeah, this was interesting. At the time, I was in a large Bible study group at the time. The book was published, so it got a lot of curiosity. What I found was when most when most Christians think of Middle Eastern terror groups, they think of Ishmael. After all, it was Ishmael whom God calls in Genesis 16:12, a wild donkey of a man, and his hand would be against every man.

But God also promised blessing on Ishmael. and who was circumcised and would eventually have twelve sons despite his aggressive behavior, a very different outcome from Esau's, of whom Obadiah one and eighteen said there will be no survivors from the house of Esau. Second, I found that most Christians have a rather distorted view of the seriousness of the biblical account of Jacob and Esau. In fact, many people consider Esau to have been a victim and the rightful owner. Who was cheated out of the title deed to the promised land?

Yeah. Which is kind of how a lot of people feel about Hamas today, is it not? Exactly. If there was just one verse in all of Scripture that best sets the stage for the conflict we see today, it's Genesis 27:41. And it says this: So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him.

And Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are near, then I will kill my brother Jacob.

So not only are Esau's descendants still trying to kill Jacob, but the final prophet of the Old Testament, Malachi 1:1 through 4, foretold that Edom would be back in the land in the last days to recover that lost birthright. But that birthright was never eased on us to recover. The only blessing Of the land and the promises are for the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And that's only for them, correct? That's correct.

Yeah. RC, you once told me that at some point you almost scrapped the book since you could not come up with an ending. It is a true story. About the same time as working on the book, your dad was holding a two day Bible prophecy conference at a Baptist church in the next town over from where we lived. He taught for two nights as I feverishly took notes.

He had mentioned Isaiah 63, 1 through 6.

Now, I wrote down the verses, and some of what he said got jumbled with other thoughts in my head. When he finished teaching, there were a lot of people waiting to get to speak to him.

So I decided to just go home and look at those verses again in the morning.

Now, the next morning, and I remember it like yesterday, I looked at my notes and zeroed in on Isaiah 63, and it hit me: your dad was talking about the second coming and how Messiah Jesus Christ. Would go to Edom, and the blood of the enemy of Jacob would be on his robe. Wow. I turned to Revelation 19:13, and what does it say there? He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the word of God.

Jimmy, the blood of Eden will not enter the millennial kingdom.

So the ending for the book was found, thanks to your dad. Wow. Isaiah 63, and that's a great passage that we cover when we're standing at Megiddo. And I love that as you look at it. Who is this who comes from Edom with dyed garments from Basra?

This one who was glorious in his apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength. R.C., good information for us as we are studying and studying. God's word, Bible prophecy, really does help us to understand the times in which we're living, correct? That's absolutely true, Jimmy. It just became so vivid with what's going on in Israel today.

Yes. You know, important when we're teaching as students, and every pastor, every Sunday school teacher, every prophecy teacher, every, you know, whatever. It's important that we're accurate with our information, that we are clear. We give it clearly so that people can understand, and it's practical. And the practical aspect of what you have given us today: this accurate message, clarity of thought, is that.

It helps us to understand the times in which we're living. RC, so what is next for your book? Jimmy, my wife, who edits the blog All the Bible Studies. And also the first book that we did agreed with me that with all that's going on with Hamas today, it's time for another edition. I'm hoping we can complete it by spring.

Yes, and we'll be looking for that. And we will have you on the program again to talk about this information that is very pertinent. Let's hope, as we edify and educate the body of Christ, that more than one pastor will take notice of the information that's given in God's Word to prepare Believers today and how they are to live. Thank you, RC. We look forward to joining with you again.

Thanks for having me on, Jimmy. God bless. Fulfilled prophecy is one proof that the Bible is a supernatural book. Hundreds of Old Testament prophecies have already been fulfilled, and it is reasonable to conclude that what it says about the end times will be fulfilled as well. The bottom line is this: to survive the end times, make sure you are a believer in Christ, for God has not destined us forever.

But for obtaining salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Folks, until the rapture does take place, let's keep looking up. Until. Thank you so much for joining us today. This is Jay Johnson, inviting you to join us again next week for more of Prophecy Today.
